#may tweak the design here and there but yeah #majora #majoras mask #legend of zelda #gijinka #i think thats what this sort of thing is called #I didn't know there WAS a word for it until recently #also i have a mini rant i want to go on #i may make it a post but ill be a coward for the moment and hide in the tags #but anyway i think its so cool to think of Majora as a female entity or spirit or whatever they are #i have whole headcanons and written entire fics but ANYWAY #but yeah they have no confirmed gender to my knowledge #and OBVIOUSLY people can believe whatever they'd like #but i just think Majora being a female entity is so interesting because like #i feel like it's rare to begin with to have a villain who seemingly has no other motive than destruction #or chaos that sort of thing #but i think its even rarer for it to be a woman character #because God forbid women do anything #but jokes aside i just think its neat and scratches a lil itch in my brain #and i think their should be more female villains whose only goal is destruction and all that jazz #like the only character i can think of like that is lord dominator from wander over yonder #im sure there's others tho #but yeah i just want more female villains who aren't femme fetales or used for sex appeal or something #OKAY ANYWAY I'LL SHUT UP NOW BYE

Ok maybe unpopular opinion here and spoilers for the season finale of Agatha All Along.

Can I just say I’m so glad they didn’t bring Wanda back in the finale. Like there were so many people who were just absolutely convinced that this show was going to be marvels way of bringing her back even after Billy kept saying she specifically wasn’t his mother and I’m really glad that isn’t the direction the show went. Like am I a Wanda hater? Yes. Is that the only reason I didn’t want her to come back? No it was the main one I won’t deny that but it’s not the only reason. If she had come back I feel it would cheapen Billy’s relationship with his “adopted” parents and the relationship he had with Tommy. Tommy being his goal really accentuates that He was the reason Billy was doing all of this in the first place and that he meant that much to Billy. Like give me the my siblings mean the world to me over I want the parents I’ve never met any day.

Also that entire section of episode 9 with Agatha and Nicky made me sob so kudos to all the people involved in making this masterpiece honestly.

going through some old left-for-dead projects and just found this one where I was like. INTENT on dissecting jeff's brain on the operating table (i.e. google docs) but only from todd's weird skewed pov

[professor voice] it's about brothers as eternal combatants and it's about being so convinced of your own goodness you excuse your shitty actions. it's also about comparing yourself to a dog because you feel less fully formed than your brother. lol.

#“so-and-so is an irredeemable character with no depth” jokes are funny sure but unfortunately i'm unable to not take things seriously #anyway: i remember people being like [about hymnal] this is crazy! this fraternal dynamic is so fucked up! and being kind of non-plussed #because the dynamic i wrote into the fair folk wip [this one] was like fifty thousand times more. argh. bites #THIS WASN'T EVEN SCRATCHING THE SURFACE #also i've always been an advocate of writing cruel characters with sympathy because the best feeling as a reader is when #you're reading and start nodding along with a particular guy and have to take a step back and recoil at how receptive you were to them #when the character is kind and jolly and cares but he's still letting the abuse happen under his nose :eyes:#anyway this ALSO isn't an accurate jeff portrait because todd's pov is weird and jaded and sardonic at the beginning of the story #and also he's like three seconds away from exploding. lol #hm. i never explained it to myself fully [probably why i never finished this] but i think the issue was that #todd is Too understanding and he's perceptive enough to see everyone's motivations but that makes it worse because now he's too #not forgiving. but he can excuse people's actions very easily #and thus when people actually do shitty things and it makes him mad he can't really justify being mad to himself - but he still is #and this makes him sooooo volatile. and becomes a problem later on in the wip when he's trying to work on cameron #because understanding isn't the ending point you have to do the action sometimes! lol!#goddamn. i miss writing this au.#dead poets society #tristan writes #dps #dps fic #todd anderson #jeff anderson #SORRY THIS IS VERY LONG. Pondering whether I should start working on writing another lengthy tutorial on the art of gifmaking/photo editing on Photoshop, even though there are already lots of tutorials out there and here for that.

But I'm also feeling more like... I could do a full-length tutorial (on GDocs maybe?) with multiple chapters, that's covering up the whole process from downloading/recording/ripping videos to installing & setting up Photoshop itself, to learning how to use a few basic tools and making your own coloring/recording actions etc. to finally saving and exporting your creations, ready to be shared here or on other websites/platforms.

I know Tumblr gifmaking is kind of a dying form of 'art' already: people aren't interested in it as much as anymore as they used to be, not to mention reblogging gifsets, and so many are also using mobile phones these days where gifs, at least on Tumblr mobile app, look blurry and kinda just really bad most of the time, so, I don't know. Could be pointless; a huge waste of time for me also.

On the other hand... I have a lot of knowledge from gifmaking and using Photoshop from the last 10+ years, at least. I have tried and used different tools and different methods, and figured out the techniques that work best for me, that help me create more things / a lot of faster. I've also come across and solved a few PS-related problems and glitches along the way, so maybe I could talk about how to solve some of those problems, too.

Could be an interesting writing project. For me, at least. To type down and put together all I know, everything I've learned during these past few years and see how far I've come, if not for else.

#so this year I've been living in a new city with a new job beginning Feb/march #I've been on dates with like 5 people and each one of them ended the same way - we went on one or 2 dates and then the texts fizzled out #but then i met someone with whom i had this instant click - we had so much chemistry and i liked them a lot and i think they liked me back #i remember one of the first times we hung out together i was so full of positive emotions i thought my chest would explode #we spoke almost everyday for 5 weeks #and now i haven't heard from them in almost 2 weeks ��#i feel like scratching my face off - aaaaaaaaa #what the fuck and why #i was talking to a friend and they said that maybe if it is a pattern i may have to look inward?#i know they dont mean to blame me but it was a suggestion #but i dont know - i feel so down and disillusioned with dating right now #ugh #a simple “busy this week I'll text you when i can” is all I'm looking for and it takes what? a minute?#okay rant over
