hi! i was wondering if i can request lads boys comforting their s/o bc their cat has passed. my baby passed today and i’m grieving really hard. thank you and have an amazing day🫶🏻
Moving this one up immediately in my box just to express my condolences. Your baby was very loved, I'm sure, and I hope you get through this tough time with care <3 I'm sorry for your loss. It's a tough time, regardless of who you're losing. My partner's grandpa passed a couple years back and I remember us crying, laughing and bowling, crying again, and talking a lot. Heck, I went to a craft store right after I heard the news and wandered around for two hours without any goal. I think I bought lolipop sticks. Take care love <3 You'll get through this. I know it's hard.

LaDS men when your pet cat has passed away
Xavier -
Since he lives so close by, your baby was his baby too, so he's devastated. Not equally so, he knows you spent more time with them, and you had them long before you had met him, but still- the pain exists.
The both of you are a bundle of blankets for a long while, just lying in the comfort and going through the both of your phones as you look for every single photo or video that has your cat in it, even just a little bit.
Lots of tears, but lots of laughs as well.
Everything is clear and apparent with every single memory the two of you go through- every little quirk your cat had, every little habit they had-
You both have a really nice time just talking about your cat, and any of the goofy mischief they used to get up to.
Of course you cry, and of course Xavier holds you through it. He knows how hard this is for you, and he knows it'll pass.
But until then, he's got you.
He's always got you.
Zayne -
He may be pragmatic to an extreme sometimes, but when it comes to grieving, he knows how hard it can be on the human psychic.
Not to mention on someone like you, who's already been through enough.
He'll definitely ask you if you want a hug, and if the answer is yes, he'll hold you, squeezing you so snugly and for so long that surely his muscle memory doesn't know a different position anymore.
Warm tea or cocoa, his old cardigan on your shoulders, pillows and blankets surrounding you on the couch, and just…
A lot of care.
If you ask him for any opinions or advice, he probably won't be able to give it to you. He doesn't want to risk anything coming out abrasive when you're still so tender, so he'll settle for condolences and anything comforting he can think of.
"I know it hurts. And you can try as you might, but the hole they left won't ever manage to be blocked out. All you can do is keep going, and hold their memory close."
Sylus -
Deep breath, it's going to be alright.
Loss is definitely something he's familiar with- and it's partially why he doesn't have anyone of his own. Mephisto may have a personality, but he's also mechanical. There's no way for him to disappear, because every bit of data in him gets saved, just in case.
But there's also no way your cat will disappear either, because Sylus has saved every memory of her, to make sure you will always have something should this day arrived.
He just didn't expect it to come so soon.
Doesn't matter what job he has, it's left to Luke and Kieran. He's by your side to care for you in whatever capacity you may need. He takes a lot of initiative, but he also asks you a lot of questions too. He doesn't want to risk making you uncomfortable, and he knows you're extra tender right now.
A lot of physical affection if that's what you need, and a lot of ideas to help you through it- whether he takes you out somewhere to help distract you from the pain, or goes through old memories with you to help you grieve through it, he'll do anything.
For as long as you may need.
Rafayel -
He hated cats.
Except for this one.
That was partially your fault, but also partially the darned cat's fault for being such a love.
He's devastated, both for you, and for himself.
He'll hug you- kiss you. Anything he can think of that usually cheers you up, even though he knows there's really nothing that's going to help right now.
He's been there, he's experienced loss. He knows what you're going through, and unfortunately- he knows that also means there's not really any helping it.
Someday when you're ready- could be in a month, could be three years from now, it doesn't matter at all him- he'll make you probably one of the favorite gifts you'll ever receive from him.
It's a portrait of your past baby, flowing full of life and color with eyes that sparkle almost as well as theirs did back when they were still around.
Almost.
And sometimes, 'almost' is more than enough to help ease the pain.

I don't remember when I woke up last but my face feels like it's melting off and it's for sure been more than 24 hours, and usually that's not face melting, but I've been staying up for 20 something 40 something hours too often this week

Buck sat at the kitchen island with his chin resting on his hand, watching Tommy pour ingredients into a bowl. It's been a week since he finally ended his keto diet and Tommy wanted to bake him a cake– to make up for not getting cake at the medal ceremony back then he said. Buck knew it was really Tommy wanting him try his baking for the first time.
As Tommy began mixing what was in the bowl—and if Buck paid extra attention to the way his arms moved and his hand gripped the spoon that was no ones business but his own—Buck blurted out the question that had been on his mind before Tommy became distracting. "What's five things you like about me?"
Tommy looked at him, eyebrow raised and never pausing his mixing. "Your eyes, smile, personality, the way you store all these facts in your brain, and your big heart."
Buck ducked his head slightly with a blush, a smile across his face. "Okay, what are four things I like?"
"Documentaries, Bobby's barbecues because everyone you love is there, cooking, when we go to the shelter and Lainey let's you go out into the yard to play with all the dogs."
"Three things I look good in?" Buck asked with a grin, leaning forward on his arms now.
"Your turnouts, sweats–" Tommy gave him a cheeky grin and Buck flushed thinking of the first time Tommy saw him in them, "And my arms." He finished with a wink, causing a goofy smile to form on Buck's face. That was his favorite place to be.
"What are two things I do a lot and don't notice?"
"Here can you finish mixing this while I get the pan and oven ready?" Tommy asked, handing him the bowl. Buck didn't hesitate to listen, mixing as he responded. "You use your hands a lot, and you steal the covers every night-"
"No I don't!"
"Oh you do, but it means I just have to cuddle you." Tommy teased, pulling a pan out from one of the cabinets.
Buck grumbled a you should be anyway under his breath making Tommy fondly roll his eyes before continuing. "What's one thing you would change about me?"
"Your last name."
Cake batter flew off the spoon and onto the surface of the island. Buck froze, mouth hanging open staring at Tommy who looked casual smiling at Buck like those three words didn't leave his mouth with no hesitation.
"Wh-" Buck swallowed, "What?"
Tommy slid the bowl away from him and leaned close. "I'm not picky on which way, hyphenate with whichever name first, drop Buckley and be Kinard, doesn't matter to me."
"You- you want to marry me?" Buck said sounding breathless, looking stunned but in wonder at the same time.
Tommy put two fingers under his chin, leaning closer to kiss him. "Evan, I'd fly us to Vegas today and marry you."
"It's- It's only been six months-" Buck's lips lifted into a smile. "But...I'd marry you too."
+Alternate ending or bonus (your choice)
"Is that a ring?!" Chimney said so loudly when he greeted Buck and spotted the ring, that it seemed the whole firehouse was looking.
Buck smiled sheepishly and rubbed the back of his neck, holding his hand out that Hen quickly grabbed to inspect. "Uh yeah...surprise? Tommy and I went to Vegas!"
"Buck!" Hen looked at him in shock, before her face turned into a smile and a laugh bubbled out. "How am I surprised but not at the same time?"
"Oh come on! I was supposed to be your best man!" Eddie scowled, but still leaned in for a hug, a big pat on Buck's back.
"We're going to have an actual ceremony later with everyone, you can be best man then!"
"Maddie is going to be pissed, if she wasn't still working her double shift to cover for Josh I'd tell you to call her immediately!"
"Especially because you're about to burst keeping it a secret already?" Hen looked Chimney over who was bouncing on the heels of his feet, he gave her a 'what do you think?' look but didn't respond.
"Uh actually...Maddie already knows." Buck said slowly, bracing himself just in case.
"What?!"
"She didn't actually have a shift..." He took out his phone, showing them a picture of them both in rented suits, and Maddie in a dress between them beaming with pride.
"Oh that is sneaky! I'm both offended and proud at the same time!" Chimney took out his phone and walked off without another word.
Hen offered a congratulations with a chuckle before following after her best friend who was on the phone arm waving like crazy. Eddie glanced over at Bobby and mumbled a 'we'll talk later' before heading towards the stairs. Buck looked at Bobby who hadn't said a word, anxiety growing.
"Bobby I-"
Buck cut off as Bobby pulled him into a hug. He sighed out in relief and returned the hug, Bobby squeezing him a little tighter before pulling away. "I'm proud of you kid, you've come a long way."
"I- I kind of expected someone to make a comment on how early it is for us-"
Bobby laughed. "Athena and I waited less time than you two did, I have no right to judge you on that." His gaze softened. "And anyone paying attention could see that what you two have is real, you're different with him in a way you've never been before Buck, and while I didn't see Tommy for years I can tell you've changed him for the better. Congratulations kid, but now you have some paperwork to take care of."
Buck groaned, shoulders slumping as he followed a laughing Bobby to his office.
But even that didn't stop the wide grin on his face when he wrote Kinard on the paperwork.

✶Surely, when two friends set up their two friends on a blind date in the very small town of Hawkins, they make sure those two people don't know each other beforehand, right? And, more importantly, aren't coworkers, right?✶

Chapter 3: The Accidental First Date
“Is this too much?” you asked, yanking down the visor and checking yourself in the small mirror.
Sitting in the back parking lot of the movie theater, you went through your purse for the finishing touches on your look. Doing your last paranoia check for anything in your teeth, turning your head this way and that to zhuzh your hair, and most importantly, preening your oxymoron of a sweater to show a decent amount of cleavage without flashing the cups of your push-up bra.
Truly a walking contradiction of a top. Cable knit and warm, but with a plunging neckline, to where the top button started at your sternum.
“No, you look hot,” Robin assured with her goofy smile. “New York modest is Hawkins slutty. He’s gonna love you.”
You shrank into your girlish giggle. “Good, I want my dating debut in this little town to be a statement. Set the stage for future escapades.. Until I run out of men, I guess. Seriously, how many bachelors live here and aren’t total hicks? Four?” Robin laughed.
“Could be worse. You could be a lesbian.”
“True,” you concurred. “Good thing you have Vickie. Sucks she couldn’t come tonight.” Robin made a sad huff of agreement, working a mascara wand through her lashes. “Hey, I know I said ‘yes’ without asking, but is this guy you set me up with even my type? Not that I care, obviously; a good story is a good story, but I’m just trying to set my expectations here.”
She furrowed her eyebrows dramatically, and paused unscrewing her lip gloss to rock her entire body into a positive affirmation–almost bumping her forehead on the steering wheel from the force of her nodding. “Oh, absolutely,” she said emphatically. “Looks scary on the outside, but is a total sweetheart on the inside. Overconfident, and obnoxious, but in that charming, swoony way.”
“Perfect!” You clasped your hands together.
Stepping out of the car, she waited for you so you could walk with your arms linked together, and she continued, “I haven’t seen him in years, but Steve was telling me over the phone that he’s been going through a tough time, and hasn’t been on a date in a while.”
“Aw, poor guy.”
There was a beat of silence where both of your faces twisted into knowing smiles.
“I know what that look means..” Robin led, canting her head to you.
Innocent, you lifted your shoulder in a coy shrug, bringing a collection of her soft hair up to your chin. “No idea what you’re talking about. I was just thinking, if he hasn’t been on a date in a while.. Why not make it memorable for him?”
You laughed together, rounding the sidewalk to the front entrance of the theater where the glamorous marquee shined gentle daylight upon the darkened street. Romantic and intimate, with a crowd of people standing in vague suggestions of lines; some broken off, gossiping, smoking.
“There they are,” Robin whispered, letting go of your upper arm to wave at Nancy–who you had met at the grocery store last week. She saw you approaching, and tapped her hand on the chest of the man beside her.
Still a considerable distance away, you peered at him, and placed his luscious hair in your memory. “Oh, that’s the guy who came to the shop today.”
“Steve?”
“Yeah, he was talking to the annoying mechanic I’m always telling you about.”
“The one you have a crush on?”
“Shush,” you bristled at the mention of your not-so-secret. “I do not have a crush on Eddie. Anyway! Did I tell you what he did this morning? He fuckin’ stood outside the window next to my desk, just out of my view for like, full on minutes, waiting for me to look at him. Like Michael Myers or some shit. Scared me half to death.”
Robin, still caught on one detail you had somehow failed to mention in the month you worked at the auto body shop, quietly asked, “..Eddie?”
“Yeah, my coworker,” you answered, not looking at her when she fell a step behind, since you were too focused on greeting Nancy, and introducing yourself to Steve to notice her sudden jog up behind you. Too fixated on complimenting Nancy’s skirt to witness the way Steve aimed his confused frown just past your shoulder. Missed his dismissive hand gestures, and Robin’s panic as she tried to wordlessly communicate something dire to him.
You were too busy listening to the cars cruise by on the street, and chatting casually, and savoring the warmth of a new friendship to scrutinize the sound of quick footsteps from the other direction, or the jangle of metal chains attached to their presence, or Robin’s damning groan.
“Sorry, I’m–” a familiar voice said. A bit nasally and on the higher side. Mirthful, awake with youth, and excited to make a good first impression.
You turned to them. Your date.
“..Late,” they trailed off.
Deer in headlights. Big, brown doe-eyes wide with surprise, framed by beautiful black lashes.
He stared at you.
His stomach sank.
You stared at him.
Your heart raced.
Eddie had stopped mid-step with his hand raised in greeting. The chains on his leather jacket tinkered until they stilled. Kind smile frozen from a better time. Chest filled with a held breath. Presenting himself with his best foot forward, and now his ears were tinted with the embarrassment of trying too hard to impress.
Oh, God.
You blinked away, and were intentional to accept the situation for what it was without showing your surprise, opting for a simple, timid, awkward, shaky, exhaled, “Hey, Eddie.”
He wasn’t so poised.
Shutting his eyes, he allowed the realization to wash over him, scrunching his face in a pained expression as the puzzle pieces slotted into place. He hung his head, and released his breath through his nose. “Your roommate is Robin,” he stated, pointing at her to punctuate his sentence. “And you call her Bobbie.”
“Yeah..” It was an apology as much as it was a confirmation.
“You still call me Bobbie?” Robin asked, tugging on your sleeve, forgetting the tense air surrounding the group for the moment. “I haven’t used that stage name in years.”
“Guess it stuck with me..”
Thankfully, someone else added to the conversation. Unfortunately, that person was Steve addressing the elephant outside the ticket booth.
“So, I take it you two know each other,” he deduced, looking from Eddie’s dejected gaze at the ground, to you wringing your purse strap over your chest.
Eddie enlightened him in a solemn tone, sparing a single glance at his friend, “She’s the receptionist at work.”
“Ah.” He turned his attention to Robin. “You set up two people who work together.”
She threw her hands up and blamed him, “Uh! No way, dunce, don’t put this on me. This whole thing was your idea, and at no point in the conversation did you tell me Eddie was a mechanic! If you had told me he was a mechanic I probably could’ve put two-and-two together myself, and avoided setting up people who see each other every day.”
Increasingly red-faced, Steve very pointedly avoided Eddie’s suspicious squint after being outed as the one who set up the date, not Nancy. “You’re the one who lives with her, how could you not–?”
“Okay!” You clapped once to end their bickering. “Then it’s not a date.”
Nancy, bless her, picked up her improv skills fast. “Yeah! Not a date. Just a casual outing between friends. Steve, get the tickets ready so we can get popcorn before the line gets too long.” There was a ripple of unanimous murmurs, followed by shuffling to the entrance.
“Silver lining,” Nancy muttered out the side of her mouth to Steve, “It’s a movie date, so it’s not like they have to talk to, or look at each other.”
Steve tempered his laugh to a hiss and held the door for Robin, who in turn kept the it ajar behind her for you, but as you went to catch it, it was opened for you.
Clack- clack- clack. You’d heard the sound every morning; his distinct rings on the metal frame of the glass door beside your desk, followed by his soft grunt when pulling it open. But whereas his whispered ‘morning’ normally echoed in the tiled lobby, it was now on the back of your neck, fanning your skin, and it wasn’t a sweet greeting, but a reserved, solemn, regretful, sad, “Sorry for.. yeah.” That’s how he started your date that wasn’t a date. With an apology. And still, as the crisp autumn air was replaced by the humid waft of buttery popcorn, your brain was stuck at the garage, filling in the drag of his heavy work boots on the way to the breakroom for coffee, and the lingering scent of cigarette smoke trailing his stride.
Except, as you were jolted back to reality, you came to know he didn’t present himself so generically outside the context of motor oil. Due to the traffic clogging around the ticket ripper, Eddie ran into you and you discovered the nuances of what he smelled like when not at work, with the added intimacy of his chest pressed to your back.
Worn leather enveloped by notes of vanilla musk cologne. Spicy deodorant carried by the sweet earthy tang of tobacco. Dove White on his heated skin, and Dawn on his hands.
A symphony you could immerse yourself in learning for hours if it wasn’t for the crime of your group moving forward.
“Did you want anything?” Eddie asked you, pointing at the concessions.
“Oh, no, I’m good.” You made a clawing gesture at your mouth. “Eating popcorn before the movie even starts because I have no self control and then being forced to sit there with kernels in my teeth drives me nuts.”
Not finding you as endearing as you intended, he slipped his hands into his pockets, and motioned for both of you to stand off to the side, out of the way while you waited for the others to get their snacks. And he just stood there. Not saying anything. You were turned to him as if to carry a conversation, but his gaze was set ahead; not on anything in particular, just away from you.
Rarely had his face been this slack, this devoid of emotion. Even when doing menial work like filling out invoices for parts you would need to order, there was activity. Liveliness in the tic of his eyes reading lines on the paper. Movement of his tongue sliding across his top lip. A subtle crease between his brows. Something. Anything.
You spoke above the giggly teenagers sneaking into the film next door, “For a stick in the mud, you look nice.” He really did, in his well-loved jacket draping his frame after years of being broken in to perfection. Tight black jeans. Sensible boots. More accessories than just his rings.
Try as he might to cut you an unamused look, his freshly washed hair bounced in immaculate waves around his face, catching the low mood lighting like a messy halo.
“Thanks,” he said, not meaning it.
“I can see why you don’t get many dates if you always look this miserable.”
“I’m not miserable.”
“Glum, then? Woebegone? Hapless? Crestfallen?” When he seemed hellbent on wishing he were anywhere else, you eased up on your act. Harboring the pit of rejection eating away at your stomach, you pried, “Disappointed?”
The glimpse of vulnerability in your words was not lost on him.
He snapped to, shaking himself out of his funk to reassure you in his gentle timbre amongst the chaos of someone beating the top score on the pinball machine, “I’m not disappointed to be here with you.”
“Then what are you?”
“Sorry,” he guessed, shrugging. He was the type to speak with his hands, moving them despite being confined to his pockets. “I’m sorry our friends suck at communicating and this is how your night turned out; you being here with me when you were clearly expecting someone else.” His gaze didn’t dare dip lower than your nose, but the effort you put into your appearance did not go unnoticed. It wasn't the first time he stared a little too directly into your eyes after you decided to stop covering yourself up.
“I don’t go on dates intending to find my one true love or anything lame like that,” you said, honestly. “I go on them to have fun, and I think we can still have fun, even if we have to share the same tiny lunch table come Monday, and we side-eye Carl for bringing tuna again.” He almost smiled at that.
Sensing he needed another boost of confidence, you kept going, “Before I knew it was you, Robin was talking you up in the car. Going on about how my date was some sweet guy, super handsome, and with a heart of gold. You know, the Prince Charming type. Oh, and totally obnoxious too. Real loudmouth who never shuts up.”
Okay, maybe some of that was ad libbed, but you wanted to know how much of it was true.
Eddie shifted from foot to foot, subduing his grin by biting his tongue, literally. “That’s a pretty apt way to describe me back in high school, yeah, especially with how I’m dressed.”
“What changed?”
“Uh, I had a kid,” he laughed. “She stole all my charm. I swear Adrie can talk me into anything.”
“I think you’re just a pushover.”
“Probably,” he surrendered. Raising his brows, he mused aloud one of the many things on his mind, “Do you not agree that she described me accurately? Sweet Prince Charming guy, all that?”
There was no way in hell you were going to speak your truth. Instead, you smirked. “I don’t think you want to know what adjectives I’d use to describe you.” They were far too vulgar to utter in a crowded room. Hot in the most annoying way. Absolute pain in my ass. Just the worst, especially when I don’t hear you sneak up behind me in the kitchen, and you think it’s funny to scare me right as I open my drink from the Coke machine, and you laugh your stupid laugh when I drop it. An absolute eye-sore when you look up at me while you're on your hands and knees cleaning up the mess you created. Irritatingly handsome when you grin and buy me another one.
Ignorant to your private thoughts, he swung his elbow out to push you, and smiled.
Relaxing into the natural lull in conversation, you both watched your friends make it to the front of the line and order their food. They waited at the counter, starting the clock on when they would inevitably make it back to the two of you, and cease your alone time with Eddie. (Although, first, they’d have to traverse an entire bucket of dropped popcorn, and navigate around more than one group of children reenacting a fight scene they just watched on the big screen.)
“Were you disappointed I was your date?” you asked.
Robin was right. Eddie was a sweetheart. As soon as he detected an inkling of insecurity–whether it be in your strained voice, or etched into your face, or imbued in the question itself–he was quick to absolve your worry.
“No, no,” he said. “Relieved, if I’m being honest.”
“Relieved?” You weren’t expecting that.
“There’s a reason I haven’t dated since having Adrie. It didn’t sound like Steve made it clear to.. you, well, my anonymous date which happened to be you. Jesus, this is confusing. Whatever, you know what I mean, he didn’t say if he told my would-be date that I’m a dad, and I was afraid of coming here and having to tell them myself. Even if we hit it off, it’s a deal breaker for some people, y’know? Not that I blame them. I would’ve said the same thing five years ago.”
You nodded as you listened to him. “Never thought about it from that perspective. All my dates have been one-and-dones. Super casual. Kids were never really brought up.”
“Yeah, the dating world isn’t always so gracious. I’m kinda glad I’m here with you–someone who knows me, at least.”
Out of the corner of your eye, you spied Steve raising his sodas above his head as two boys ran past him, pretending they were in a shootout.
Knowing he wouldn’t have time to respond, you informed Eddie, “You’re worrying about the wrong thing. Adrie’s an angel. You should be more concerned about your curmudgeonly attitude being a deal breaker.” His narrowed-eye glare had never felt so sweet.
Robin’s giddy presence became known. She dropped her chin to your shoulder with a satisfied hum, and wrapped her arm around your waist to hug you snug to her body. You laid your head on top of hers, swaying with her.
She must’ve made a face at Eddie, because a different emotion flinched across his features, and he was back to avoiding making eye contact.
You, however, were more enticed by the drink in her hand than analyzing his change in demeanor. “Shit, now I want an Icee.”
“Yeah, I got cherry,” she said, angling the straw towards you. “They have Coke too–Okay, bye, dork,” she giggled after you.
“Go ahead and sit without me! I want an Icee.” Nancy clutched the largest size of popcorn to her chest to avoid spilling it as you stumbled out of Robin’s hold and darted for the concession stand.
Eddie raised his voice, “You couldn’t have decided that five minutes ago when I asked?”
“Nope!”
————
The theater for the low budget horror flick reflected the town’s perception of it. As soon as the heavy door closed behind you, your footsteps on the dense carpet echoed around the empty room. Your group was sitting in the back row, and their murmurs could be heard from the bottom.
You climbed up to them and flumped into the seat next to Eddie. “We can share,” you said excitedly, shaking the drink at him before placing it in the cupholder at the end of the single armrest.
When the subtle pinch of concern around his eyes remained, you promised him you didn’t have cooties.
He played with his rings, pulling them down the length of his fingers and spinning them while he worked through his confusion. “You don’t have to sit next to me.. You can sit next to Robin.” He motioned beside him, to Steve munching on his popcorn while Nancy held it, and Robin whispering on the end, rolling her eyes at something Nancy said.
“Why wouldn’t I sit next to you?”
Eddie’s mouth opened and closed, struggling to settle on what he wanted to say, and finishing with a submissive shrug, leather jacket groaning at the act. He bounced his foot quicker, shaking the aglets on his laces against his boot in a chaotic rhythm. “Dunno..”
“You’re silly. I’d pinch your cheek if I didn’t think you’d bite me.” He reeled at that, and you giggled. You didn’t mind making him balk at your weird quirks; whatever put him at ease. Rather, whatever made him stop rubbing his knee against yours, because you were certain the friction was about to cause a fire.
Digging through your purse, you took out a rectangular box and slid your finger under the flap, popping it open and dumping a handful of candy into your palm. You threw it back into your mouth. “Want sh-ome?” you chewed, offering the box to him.
“Who the hell eats Mike and Ikes?”
“Uh, me, jerk.” Right as the lights dimmed to pitch black, and the curtains drew back from the screen, you hit him with the most exaggerated pout. “I only eat them at the movies. They’re a ritual, and you’re rude. The shadows lining his face twisted into a deeper grin. “Are you more of a chocolate guy?”
“Maybe,” he answered like he was suspicious of your motives.
And maybe he should be. Afterall, you committed the number one sin when it came to cinemas.
“Looks like I chose right,” you said, reaching into your purse and pulling out a Kit Kat. “I was hoping my date would be a chocolate sorta guy–” You went quiet seeing his eyes widen a touch. “I mean, not date. Begrudging coworker? Tentative acquaintance?”
“Reluctant friend,” he answered smoothly, taking the package from you and ripping it open with his teeth.
~~~
Trailers for other films played, bathing the room in flickers of light interrupting the darkness. The opening credits began. Your candy was half-eaten. His was devoured. You took a sip of your Icee, and from the vantage point of pressing your back into the cheap theater seat, you observed him in your periphery.
His gaze hardly left the drink. Your offer to share it gnawed at him in a visible way. Scoping out the straw, the possible trace of spit you left behind, the possible trace of spit he’d leave behind. He peered at the screen to acknowledge the intro, and then back down it was, boring holes into the Icee.
You were no better, nibbling at your lips when he finally caved and took a sip–all too quick, and clumsy, almost missing the cup holder when he put it back down with lightning speed.
The edge of your thighs touched under the arm rest; worse so, when you folded one leg under you, and leaned into him. “Do you hate it when people talk during movies?”
“Not these kind.” He meant the genre in general, which made for great fodder for ripping apart in friend groups, but another popular trope among this realm of fiction became apparent. The first set of tits flashed on screen, and you both found yourselves lacking in the commentary department.
After a moment, you tilted your head. “That actress looks familiar..”
“She’s been in other cult classics. Always acts with her eyebrows.” He turned to you and nudged your shoulder, vying for your full attention. He emphasized the end of each word with an inflection as if it were a question, and raised his eyebrows in every way possible, mocking her slowly, “She’s the one who always talks like this–!” He looked crazy contorting his face to make his point.
“That’s it!” You snapped. “Her wearing glasses really threw me off.”
“Mhm.” His hum vibrated along your upper arm pressed to his, and he asked quietly under the screams of the first gorey death, “Do you like B movies?”
“Hell yeah. Back home they would play them at this rooftop drive in place. I rarely paid to watch them, though. The next building over had a good view of the projector screen.”
His banter dropped in favor of chewing on the corner of his thumb. If it wasn’t for the wild change in scenery cast across his face, you could’ve sworn his faint smile faltered into inscrutability.
Did you say something wrong?
“Damn, that was a cool practical effect,” Eddie complimented the purplish fizzing ooze that once was a person.
“I know, right? That’s why I love these bad movies. There’s no budget for good CGI, so they have to do creative stuff like that.”
It was inevitable. Bound to happen. A mere act of fate. Stars aligning in the close knit group leaning forward to exchange witty quips about the hare-brained plot holes in the movie, and not minding their surroundings except to receive everyone’s laughter, making jokes at the expense of the bad acting.
Steve was asking a question that was technically answered by the movie’s lore if he’d paid attention to the dialogue during the second gratuitous stripping scene. You or Eddie could have answered, but Robin took it upon herself to explain, and you two nodded along.
Absentminded, you reached for the Icee.
Distracted, Eddie reached for the Icee.
The waxed paper cup was cold under your fingers, but your hand was blanketed by warmth.
Slow to process, you both glanced down at the reason why neither of you were achieving your goal, and the overload of sensory inputs faded away to one: touch.
Your thumb was trapped under his palm, and his fingers stretched around the cup, meeting yours on the other side and housing them beneath his in a steady amount of pressure. They were almost interlocking. Holding. Wrist on top of wrist–his with the extra harshness of his leather and chain bracelet on your skin. The heaviness of his forearm resting on yours.
Truly, the accident lasted all of two pumps of your heart, but it felt like more when he stroked his calloused fingertips over your knuckles as he let go.
“Sorry!” he blurted.
“S-Sorry,” you laughed, jittery from the encounter.
Your cheeks were hot. His were flushed red. The lewd moaning of a woman feigning to orgasm just from the male lead removing her bra alone played in the background. Neither of you could decide which plan of escape was less embarrassing: continuing to stare like idiots at each other, or watch the actress’ ginormous boobs bounce as she faked riding a guy.
You blinked. His eyebrows ticced up.
Boobs it was.
He adjusted how he sat, tugging his jeans down his legs a little, and crossing his arms. Eyes laser focused on the woman’s face. The why was obvious, and you couldn’t help but tease him for pretending to be a gentleman in your company when you held no such modesty when it came to ogling her tits.
“Thinking about how much Aquanet she uses?”
“Shut up.”
————
Later into the film, after the plot circled back to the juicy gore, you leaned into Eddie to ask him a question.
What that question was, you couldn’t remember.
As soon as you placed your elbow on the armrest and used the back of your hand to tap his shoulder, he dipped his head to hear you. It was an automatic thing starting from the moment you slouched in your seat. That’s all. A shift in your sitting position and intake of breath, and he knew you were going to speak, and he wanted to listen. He cared about what you had to say. He leaned into you as well, because listening to you took priority over the movie.
“Eddie?” You sought any words. Any words at all. Any would do. Any question, even if you knew the answer. “Uhm. The music sounds really familiar. Do you recognize it?”
“It’s the same composer as Chopping Mall and Deathstalker II.”
“Ah.”
Ah. All you could muster when you were charmed by the silhouette of his lips moving. Watching them form letters, pout on the plosives, press into a line on his thick swallow.
Ah. All you could say when his hair brushed over your fingers. Dry, in need of a deep conditioning. Curling around your forefinger. Tickling your palm.
Ah. All you could respond with when you lifted your gaze, and caught him staring at you like you stared at him.
————
As predicted, the filmmakers padded the runtime with another topless scene, and the movie ended on a witty one liner that included not one, but two puns, and no resolution to the numerous plot threads left hanging.
“That was.. certainly something!” Robin summed up, holding the doors open to the subdued hours of the night.
Once outside in the fresh air, the dynamic reverted back to its original status.
Your friends made themselves scarce in the worst way; whistling, shuffling to the side as they found asinine things to comment on, leaving you and Eddie alone. Their intentions were pure, but reality was not so kind.
Eddie cemented his gaze on the sidewalk as he picked at his callouses, and apologized for the mistake of going out with you. Again. “Sorry about all this.”
Itchy sweat broke out across your back. It sucked he was so brazen about rejecting you. You had  hoped some of the tender crush you had on him extended past the armrest you shared, the looks you shared, the touches you shared; but maybe you were just tricking yourself into finding things that weren’t there.
Wanting to end on a better note, you appealed to him in a last ditch effort to smooth over the situation, “I meant it when I said you looked good tonight. It’s nice to see you outside of your work clothes.”
“Thanks.”
That’s all. Thanks. A shy glance from beneath his curtain of messy hair, and a somber tone to maximize the awkwardness of the not-date with your coworker.
You needed to get the hell out of there. “See you Monday?”
“Yeah, see you Monday.”
The group winced in unison when they saw the way you two departed.
Robin was quick to link her arm with yours and gather you closer, bringing your heads together to gossip as you walked back to her car. “That bad, huh?”
Around the corner and out of sight, you gave her half a smile, trying to appear in better spirits. “Well, I don’t think he likes me. He didn’t return any of my compliments, and he apologized for being on a date with me no less than four times over the course of the evening.”
She cringed for you. “That’s worse than Balloon Guy, isn’t it?”
“Yeah,” you said, remembering what would go down in history as the shittiest date you’d been on. “Yeah, that’s more times than Balloon Guy.” Robin hugged you tighter, making your steps go clumsy. She apologized for Eddie’s weirdness, but you shrugged. Maybe you were supposed to find it weird, too. Maybe you were supposed to disapprove of the idea of romantic feelings for your coworker, too. Maybe you were supposed to have no expectations for it to lead anywhere, too.
Maybe you were supposed to reject him, too.
————
Still loitering outside the theater, Steve exchanged a look with Nancy, and jogged to catch up with Eddie before he made it too far in the opposite direction.
“Uh, hey buddy!” Steve clapped him on the shoulder to stop him. “It sounded like you two were hitting it off during the movie, what happened?”
Eddie sulked under the question. His chest fell with a surrendering sigh, and his boots scraped the concrete as he turned to him, not bothering to mask the dullness in his slack expression. Everything about him was tired, including his voice when he slipped into a lower, raspy octave. “She’s nice, but..”
“But what?” Nancy asked, searching his face.
Bottling his burdens, he clenched his teeth, and worked his jaw as he contemplated evading their insistent prying; but after ruminating on it, he explained the source of his problems, “She lives a very.. whimsy life.” He fluttered his hand like a bird flapping its wings, or a butterfly. “She does this thing where she says ‘yes’ to anything anyone asks her; it’s why she moved to Hawkins, and why she ended up on this date to begin with. Y’know, just doing whatever seems like fun. It’s cute, in a way, and obviously I.. feel a way towards her, but this place isn’t where she’s looking to lay down roots. New York is her home.”
Steve squeezed his shoulder, knowing what was about to come.
“I’ve already been left for someone better.. I can’t go through that again.” Eddie’s eyes begged them to understand. “I don’t want Adrie to get attached to someone who’s just gonna leave.”
Nancy started, “Eddie–You don’t know if she’d leave.”
He shook his head, and pulled away from Steve’s lingering grasp. Shushed his friend’s well-meaning words about him being valued, and to forget his insecurities about not being good enough.
“A girl like that doesn’t need me weighing her down,” Eddie said, imparting the wisdom he’d come to accept since you made a mark on his life weeks ago, when it became your mission to befriend him. “I’ll pick up Adrie in the morning. Thanks for watching her.”
The night got darker as he left.
Darker still, when Steve waved at his back, and Nancy played with the locket around her neck, and her goodbye went disregarded.
————
Silence.
It surrounded him. Blood pulsing in his ears, his heart beat, the refrigerator hum, the tink of glass bottles as he grabbed the full six pack and brought it to the couch, springs squeaking under his weight.
Utter emptiness welcomed him.
Not a sound in his home. Not a giggle from his daughter, or scrape of a skillet from Wayne’s makeshift breakfast-dinner before he went to work. Even the dogs around the trailer park were quiet.
Just.. nothing.
It was what he wanted, right? A night to himself; a break from the chores, the questions, the food making, the taking care of a tiny human being who made everything tougher than it needed to be.
He got his wish.
Two beers down in peace, he got his wish.
Eddie looked around his trailer lit by the single lamp beside him.
Quiet, empty, nothing.
Dark silence.
The jolt of his sob startled him. It erupted from his chest so suddenly. Ripped from the tightness of repressed emotions; the things he tried to deny, to feel and then lock away. To keep safe, buried down deep where he could manage them from progressing past the boundaries he created for his own good, and Adrie’s. He felt the agony of them all at once. The morning smiles, the afternoon laughs, the evenings of pretending you didn’t plan to bump into each other in the doorway to the lobby. The game of seeing how long he could watch you twirl the phone cord around your finger before you looked up from your desk. Your sweet way of comforting him after the hard nights of Adrie’s sleep regression by taking his tan work jacket and draping it over his shoulders while he slept at the lunch table in the break room. Your gentle method of fixing his collar when it was tucked on the inside of his coveralls.
The date was too good to be true.
In fact, the truth itself was far more painful.
The date was amazing. He couldn’t remember a time in his life when he had more fun. More thrills, sure. But not more fun. There wasn’t a day in his youth where he experienced more of the flirty thrum in his veins than when he committed himself to learning the way your lips moved when saying his name in the darkened theater.
The date was perfect. He was happy. And he couldn’t have it again. Shouldn’t have it again. Wouldn’t have these feelings again.
Eddie doubled over and put his third beer on the floor before he spilled it. Nothing was discernible beyond the water invading his ability to see, to fathom his reflection in the old TV. Sad, miserable, and lonely. An idiot for finally getting attached to someone, and it was someone he wasn’t supposed to.
Tears slipped from between his lashes. He smeared them on his cheeks, covering his sweaty face from his possessions bearing witness to his stupidity.
It was in his best interest to reject you–reject your casual stance on dating, and relationships, and people with kids–but the face you made when your advances went underappreciated churned his stomach.
He needed to be stronger. But he was weak.
“Jesus fucking Christ,” he sighed into the stale air. Opening another beer, he nursed it as he huddled into the corner of the couch, and searched for Adrie’s quilt to soothe him. But of course, he sent it with her when he dropped her off at Steve’s.
No baby blanket to hold onto. No Adrienne to sleep on his chest to ease the pain of loneliness. No reason to look forward to Monday after he royally screwed everything up.
“Goddamnit,” he groaned.
Maybe, if he apologized enough, there was a chance you wouldn’t hate him.
Maybe, if you forgave him, you’d go back to the morning smiles, and the afternoon laughs.
And maybe, if he was enough of a masochist, he’d let you gently ease past those boundaries meant to keep you, and your kindness out. If you wanted to trespass, that is. He didn’t know. He was an idiot.
~Girl, you don't know what you do to me~
Request: I have a TWD request. Rosita gives the reader a dress she found while out on a run and the reader wears it for rick and he fucks her in it. Maybe a bit of degrading if you're into that
Word count: 1.3k
Pairing: Rick Grimes x Fem!Reader
Warnings: Degrading kink, Smut, PiV sex, Unprotected sex, Sex with plot, Sub/Dom Dynamic, that's it! Enjoy!
Rosita was a good friend of yours. Like the best. She always gave you tips on how to tease and impress a fellow member of the group that you were interested in.
Today was just like any other day. A group was going out on a run and Rosita happened to be in that group. You quickly ran down the street to go ask her about it.
"Where are y'all goin?" You ask, your cute southern accent coming out.
"On a run. Might go to a shop, market, or store. We'll probably be back in an hour or so because we don't have a lot of sunlight left." She responds.
"Oh ok, well if you do go to a shop, can you see if you can find me a cute sundress? A couple of girls 'ere are having a house party and I Don't have any more dresses left." You ask, squinting at the sunlight.
"Yea, sor sure. I got you girl!" She says patting your shoulder. You smile and smack her ass on the way out causing you both to laugh.
You walk down the street and notice a tall, dark, handsome brunette standing on the porch of your shared house.
You smile and wave at Rick, and he smirks and waves you over. You walk up the steps and meet him on the porch.
"Hey, sweetheart. Whatcha doin' hmm?" He asks in his deep southern accent that you always find attractive.
"Nun much! I just finished talkin' to Ro before she went on a run." You answer, with a small smile on your face.
He hums in approval and you nervously start playing with your gun holster on your thigh.
"So... What are you up to, officer!?" You ask with a chuckle. In return, you earn a laugh from the man in front of you.
"Oh sweetheart, ya always make me laugh. I was just looking around, just put Jude to sleep." He says.
"Ohhhh! Can I see her? Pretty please?!" You ask, holding your hands together and begging.
He chuckles and motions his head to the door. You squeal and run straight to the door and into Judith's room. You open the door and quietly make your way inside. You see her cute, tiny little body sleeping in the crib.
"Awww she's so cute!" You whisper.
"Just like you," Rick says. A little taken back you turn around to see Rick standing in the doorway staring at you with a big goofy smile plastered on his handsome face.
"Hmm. I'm not cute! Far from It actually." You say turning around to hold her hand.
"Well, I think you are cute, so you're cute." He says walking up behind you to wrap his arms around your waist.
You hum and melt. into his warm, loving touch. Oh, did I forget to mention? You're already dating? Thanks to Rosita? Oh well now you know.
You hold his arms and you both sway back and forth. You were about to turn and kiss him but were briefly interrupted by Michonne.
"Uh, Rick? OH... Sorry, am I interrupting something?" She asks.
You laugh a little, "No, no Michonne, Your not! Please take him, he's won't let me go!" You say laughing.
Michonne chuckles a bit and Rick bites your neck, signaling that he'll get you back later.
You laugh and kiss his hand as he walks away with Michonne to do his important duties.
About 20 minutes later, your in your room reading a book when Rosita comes knocking on your door.
"Come in!" You yell out.
"Look what I got!" She says holding up two sun dresses, your guessing one is for her and the other for you.
You jump up squealing as you go to hug her yelling out 'Thank you's'.
One is this really pretty yellow one with roses on it and the other is a really pretty green with sunflowers on it.
"I already called dibs on the green one so the yellow one is all yours!" She says with a smirk on her face.
"Thank you so much Ro! I love you!" You say grabbing the dress and hugging her one more time.
You both try them on and look in the mirror. "We look so hot!" She says.
You laugh at her comment and twirl.
You both walk out and grab the attention from almost every guy in Alexandria.
"I've gotta go. I have garden work I need to do!" You say walking towards the tool shed. "Oh ok, thats fine, I've got a class to teach anyway." She shouts from across the street.
You hold up a peace sign and she holds up a heart sign and you both part ways.
As you walk towards the tool shed you feel a pair of eyes on you but you don't bother to see who it is. Probably another boy or guy in Alexandria staring at you.
When you walk in and close the door behind you, you look for the supplies needed for gardening. You find the gloves and put them on the table.
Just as you are about to grab the hedge shears, the door opens and closes, locking behind whoever came in.
"I'll be out soon, just grabbing the last of my to-" You turn around to see a very angry Rick.
"Oh hi hunny! Are you ok? What happened?"You asked innocently.
You were messing. with him. You knew exactly why he was mad and why. he was in here. It's because of the dress. your wearing. Its showing off a little too much skin for his liking.
"You know why sweetheart." He says walking closer to you. His hands itching at his sides to reach out and grab you.
"I-I really don't Ricky." You say trying to hide your smirk. God what an actor you were. Acting like you didn't know what you were doing to him.
"Girl, you don't know what you do to me." He says lowly, his eyes darker than before.
He grabs you by you hips and kisses you. You instantly wrap your arms around his neck and kiss him back passionately.
Rick flips you over and lifts up your drees.
"Bend over for me sweetheart. Wanna see that pretty little ass of yours mama." He says rubbing you ass through the dress.
You moan out and bend over for him. He groans as he pressed his erection on your ass, slowly grinding on you.
You hear the clink of his belt buckle and his pants hitting the floor. You feel his cock rubbing through your folds.
"Fuck princess, you feel so good. Can't wait to fuck you in this pretty little dress. Give you my babies." He whispers lustfully in you ear.
He shoves his cock inside you filling you up. You clench hard around his length. He doesn't even give you time to adjust before he's already slamming into you.
"Fuck mama, you keep squeezing me like that and I might not last!" He groans shoving his length further inside you with every deep thrust.
"ohhhh fuckk! Rick, please cum inside me! I want to carry y-your babies please!" You moan out. Drunk off his cock.
"Yea? You fucking slut. Look at you in this dress walking around, flaunting and showing off like a little whore." He says.
You clench around him at his dirty words and moan. His hips begin to get sloppier and his breathing starts to get heavier.
"C-Cum with me please! Please Rick, please!" You cry out feeling your orgasm approach.
"Ah- hah- Fuck! Ok sweetheart!" He breathes out.
Soon you both are drawing out moans and whining as you both cum. You both ride out your highs feeling euphoric and dizzy.
"You should wear this dress more often... especially if it's gonna end up with your legs shaking and my cum dripping down your thighs." He says with a smirk on his face.
daisy's notes: what if i want him :(
Tumblr media
For whatever reason, your birthday wasn’t a happy day for you… So Mark resolved to treat you normally. And if “normally” involves him doting on you the way he does when you have bad days, then so be it.
He tucked stray strands of hair away from your face when he saw you begin to stir. He’d say one thing to you, just to show you that he remembered. So he leaned in, lips pressing against your own. “Good morning. Happy birthday, baby,” he said, voice still a little hoarse from sleep. “Are we still going to get breakfast?”
“Mmhm.” You drew him back in for another sleepy kiss, only to draw him closer. You snuggled in, eyes fluttering shut as you dropped your head into his shoulder. “Morning…”
He giggled. Most mornings, he’d tease you a little with some sort of “my sleepy girl,” but he settled in instead. He peppered your skin with kisses, just to hear that slightly-annoyed groan as you finally opened your eyes. His lips pressed against yours one final time before drawing back.
“Good morning,” he said again, thumb grazing the apple of your cheek.
Despite the slight annoyance at being woken up fully now, you sat up and stifled a yawn. The moment you went to move out of bed, you felt Mark’s fingers poke into your sides. You let out a strangled grunt, playfully shoving away at his hands as he giggled. He came up behind you, pressing a long kiss against your neck before moving to search through the closet. It became obvious soon enough what he was doing, always trying to find a way to tease you to make you smile. Eventually you swatted him away from you, and he laughed that goofy laugh before getting dressed, too. He kept waiting around, watching you as you looked through your options before settling on something. Of course, it was one of the things you owned that Mark didn’t have something he could use to match with you… But he could improvise. He stood back, watching you (half-admiring, half-studying) before going into his side of your shared closet.
When he stepped out in a patterned shirt that mainly featured the same color as the shirt you were wearing, he saw the way you gave him a little once over before going back to packing your things into a bag. “You look cute.”
Mission accomplished. Mentally, he put a little sunglasses emoji guy right next to the thought.
After a quick breakfast out, the two of you ended up wandering around the mall for the day. He held your hand the entire time, always pointing out something cool or something he thought you’d look good in. Today was your day, which meant he couldn’t play. You wanted something? He was already getting his card out. He’d been saving specifically so that he could spoil you on your birthday, and he was intent on carrying that out.
“Don’t worry, baby,” he said with this cute smile, “I got you.”
It always earned some sort of playful eye roll or snort as you thanked him, always drawing out the words to tease him. He was obvious, but that was fine with him. What was the point of days like birthdays and holidays if he couldn’t spoil you a little? He carried your bags for you, too, ever the gentleman. Yet he was the one who slowed down, hand holding yours tight enough to tug you back, when the two of you were outside of a toy store. He pointed out two little lion plushies right next to one another.
“Babe. Baby.” He didn’t take his eyes off of them. “It’s us.”
You’d giggled a little over it. “Pretty sure those are two male lions, Mark.”
He turned back to you. “What?” Then he looked at them again, fully registering the bright orange manes that both of them wore. “Right. Still… We could still find a lioness. C’mon.” He tugged you toward the entrance, only to stop. “Unless you don’t wanna—”
“We can go places you wanna go, Mark,” you said, already making your way into the store. “Let’s go find a lioness.”
You’d been insistent on paying for and carrying that bag, and Mark let the issue drop. Gentlemanly as he was, his hand was getting a little tired carrying all your bags… and it’d be rude to turn it into an issue when it wasn’t. You did end up taking the bags from him when you stopped to get lunch, saying you would go get the table while he grabbed the food. When he asked you to pick a place, you’d just shrugged it off.
“You know what I’ll eat,” you said. “Just pick somewhere.”
Again, he’d almost pushed back on that. Today was your day, even though you weren’t treating it like anything special. But he knew how you felt, and he bit back any disagreement. He looked around the food court, picked two places, and asked you to pick from those under the guise of him being indecisive. You hummed to yourself, genuinely considering the two options before picking, and then left him standing there as you went to snag a table for the two of you. He went off to order your food, and soon enough he was sitting across from you, listening as you rambled on about something that happened at work the other day. Eventually, you pushed the conversation onto him as you nodded along to his own stories… all while sneaking little pictures of him. He smiled for them, and eventually got you to squeeze into frame so he could snap a picture of the two of you together.
The rest of the day was scaled toward him. You would push for him to pick places to go, things to do. The bookstore the two of you frequented became one of your stops, and he saw the quiet way you bought a book he put back alongside with another bookmark for him (sometimes he lost them, but he’d always take extra care when someone gave him one) without saying a word. A few other stores, too: you’d ended up buying him a few things, insistent on carrying his bags for him with this knowing smile that told him you knew exactly what he’d been doing all day.
Then when you were leaving, Mark saw it. The way you’d been walking a step ahead of him for a minute, talking about finding a place to sit for a few minutes before you actually went back to the car. You’d slowed to a stop outside this chocolate place the two of you had sampled forever ago, watching in the window as a tall, handsome man was making them in view of anyone passing by. The guy looked up, flashed you a smile, and then went back to his work. Mark slowly made his way over to you, watching the magic happen for himself.
“We should get a box,” he said after a moment. He looked at you, practically glowing with excitement. “We can split it, if you want?”
For a few seconds longer, you just watched the man on the other side of the glass continue to work. Then you met Mark’s gaze, genuinely smiling that same smile he fell in love with years ago, and nodded. “I’d love that.”
The two of you went into the shop, picking out flavors for your big box of chocolates. When Mark paid this time, you didn’t push back or question or tease him. You just leaned against him, still smiling that pretty smile, and thanked him in a soft voice that felt so genuine this time around. He tucked the box into one of the bags he was carrying, pressed a kiss against your cheek, and took your hand again as you left.
By the time the two of you got home and started sorting through everything you’d bought, it was late. When Mark looked up, asking if you felt like going back out for dinner, you’d shaken your head. You had sprawled out along the couch at that point, visibly sleepy from the long day as you abandoned the work of sorting out new clothes to be washed. He just crawled over to you, pressing his lips against yours.
“You wanna go take a bath? I’ll order dinner when we get out.” He pressed another kiss against your lips. “We can watch movies,” another kiss, “and then bust into those chocolates,” and another, “and it’ll be fuckin’ great, baby.”
You agreed to it all too easily. The two of you ended up snuggling in the hot water for a while, talking about whatever came to mind. By the time the two of you were cuddled up on the couch again, dressed in matching pajamas (“Because we’re cheesy like that, you know?” was what Mark said to you when he bought them forever ago), he’d decided to apparently kill you with a thousand more soft kisses. The jerk was giggling the entire time, too, squeezing you in his arms and he peppered said kisses alongside the side of your neck—right where you were tickling, he’d learned back when the two of you were first dating.
“Mark!” You’d squealed at one point, nose crinkling as he mumbled something about how cute he found you. “You can stop. I know what you were doing today.”
“What?” He played dumb. “Appreciated you? I’m always appreciating you, baby,” he giggled, kissing the spot where your neck met your jaw. “I’m lucky to have you, y’know?”
With a sigh, you pulled away from him. Ah. Shit. You’d been planning for a serious talk, then. “I mean it,” you said, taking one of his hands within your own. “I know what you were doing. And… I think it was really sweet.”
Wait, what? His voice grew softer now, heart racing in his chest. “So you aren’t mad?”
“I…”  You trailed off, turning away. “I thought I would have been. But… I dunno. I think when you walked up to me and said something about buying that box of chocolates, it just kinda hit me that you weren’t just spoiling me today because it’s my birthday. You were doing it because you love me.” For a moment, you tried to blink back tears. “I mean… I know you love me. And I knew that on the birthdays before—but I always kinda pushed people away because I felt like I wasn’t worth it.”
“You are, though.” The words fell from his lips before he could even think twice. Maybe if he did, he would have apologized for interrupting you, but some things were just too vital to hold back. “You’ll always be worth it, y’know?”
The tears you’d been fighting finally ran down your cheeks, and you nodded. “You made me feel special,” you said. “And not just because it’s my birthday, but because you actually care.”
Something ached deep within his chest at that. Did that mean you had people who didn’t…? Yet he left the question unsaid. How long had he been dating you, and he still didn’t know everything he thought he should? Not because you were supposed to bare your soul to him—never that. But because he was your boyfriend, he felt that he should have noticed sooner. You told him that your birthday hadn’t been a happy day for you in a long time, and he’d accepted it at face value without pushing. If you wanted to tell him, you would, and he would listen the same way you always cared and listened to his problems. The same way you did today when you pushed him to open up, to talk, to share the day with you so it wasn’t just him doting on you endlessly.
“Hey…” He reached up, wiping your tears away. “I’m sorry I went behind your back to try and spoil you today.”
You stared at him. “Mark, it’s okay—”
He shook his head. “I should have asked you first,” he said. “But I like celebrating you. You know I was kind of a mess when we first met, but I wanted to be better for you. Chenle can tell you how bad this place used to be,” he chuckled, hoping that you would laugh or giggle or something too. “So I like getting the chance to celebrate how much I love you. You still make me wanna be a better guy, y’know?”
Sniffling, you dove forward to hide your face in his shoulder. He just laughed softly, rubbing circles onto your back as you cried. He loved you, and he knew how easily you could get emotional in vulnerable moments like this. Always diving forward and hiding your face because no matter how many times he told you it was okay, you’d be embarrassed that you were crying on him when you were supposed to be happy.
“We can have more days out like this, if you want,” he said, hand cradling the back of your head. He drew you back, just so he could see your face, watery eyes and all. “Today just needed to be perfect because I think you’re perfect, even with all the imperfections we both know we have, we’re kinda perfect together.” He paused, wondering if he’d talked himself in a circle again before settling on something simpler: “I just think you’re really cool.”
That had finally earned a laugh out of you, so endeared to him and the way he spoke. “Yeah?”
He nodded eagerly. “Yeah!” He smiled at you. “You’re pretty sick. I love being your boyfriend, y’know?”
You just drew him in for a quick kiss after wiping your face with your sleeve. When you pulled back, you just smiled at him. “You’re pretty cool, too, y’know.” With a clumsy kiss against the side of his mouth, you finally drew back and out of his lap. “Thank you for a really fun day, by the way.” Snuggling a little closer to him, you rested your head against his shoulder. “I had fun. I always do when I’m with you, but you know what I mean.”
He just chuckled, turning his head so that he could kiss the top of yours. “Yeah, of course. Happy birthday, baby.” He snuggled in for a cozy night with you, head resting against your own. “I love you a lot. Let’s do something cool next year, alright?”
You just let out a soft chuckle, too. “Alright.” You shut your eyes. “If it’s with you… I’ll always be happy.”
pussydrunk!Yuuji knew you had somethin special between your legs, even before you gave him a sample: He flirts with you endlessly, showing his interest in you any time he gets a chance. 'Fuck, y/n, have mercy...' Yuuji thinks when he finds you on your lavender loveseat beautiful brown legs spread, intently reading the magazine you're holdin up to your nose. The shape of your pussy in your tiny panties makes his mouth water; his dick rising so fast he gets a bit dizzy. "Hey, I'm so fuckin tired. Hope your day was better than mine, pretty baby.. Was it?" Yuuji asks sweetly. Your nose still pinches at the pet name "'S fine, I guess. Whooped the fuck outta Panda today." You answer without takin your eyes from the gossip you're currently consuming. "Scuse me, I was talkin to her. How rude!" You look down to see him starin between your thighs, leanin to plant wet kisses against your clothed clit lovingly. "So fuckin nasty.." You whisper, spreading to make room as Yuuji removes your underwear.
pussydrunk!Yuuji died and went to heaven the first time you let him hit: He's naked on top of you, eyes shut tight huffin hard as fuck in your face. "Ooh shit, girl! Tight as hell.. Ahhhh fuh- hold up.. Gonna cum, y/n. Pussy's too wet round my shit. Stay still for a second." Oh hell naw! Can't believe your ears right now. You didn't get all dolled up for nothing. Makeup perfectly matching your glittery sapphire one piece lingerie. "Yuuji, you just slid in.. Aint even start strokin yet." Tone heavy with annoyance, but he can barely hear you. Blood rushin in his ears; black dots his vision. Then Yuuji's filling you up half a second later; lickin and suckin on your neck as he presses in deep as he can. "Fuckfuckfuck! Please don't hate me, y/nnn.. Ah shit! Can't stooop.." He's crushing you under his weight, poor baby so incoherent. Doesn't even realize how he pathetically chants 'pussy's too good' as you land a smack on the back of his head.
pussydrunk!Yuuji feels like the world's ending when you don't let him fuck for a while after the first time: You're sitting with your back against your pillows in bed scrolling through the gram when he bursts in the room, briefly attempting to pry your knees apart. "Baby, come oooon. Need it so bad. Why are you torturing me like this?" Yuuji's been such a whiny brat about it. You want it too but he needs a fuckin lesson. "Boy.. First off, not ya baby. We ain't datin. Two, you came too fast, and waaay too fuckin much. Do you even know how much nut you spilled in my shit by the time you finished?" You fix him with a steely glare for good measure but his goofy ass only hits you with a perplexed "Ummm. A lot?" You scoff, rolling your eyes before looking back to your phone. "Baaaaaaby!" "Not cha baby.."
pussydrunk!Yuuji that starts bargaining after a few weeks, ready to gamble with his life if that means fuckin you asap: "Playin with my emotions, y/n. Just tell me what I need to do already. Do anything, name it. Just tell me what you want and it yours." He's got you pinned to a wall at the school, hands on either side of your head, dick tenting in his uniform. "No, Yuuji. Don't think you learned your lesson yet." "I did, baby! I'm sorry. So so sorry for filling your pretty lil pussy up without permission." You look into his shiny eyes, feeling a bit guilty at your teasing. His handsome features looking so devastated as he hangs his head, stuffing his face into your throat. Fuck, his submission has you so damn wet; panties sticking to your plump pussy lips. How much longer can you keep this up? "Hmmm.. Come over tonight?" Yuuji's like a kid in a candy store, head poppin up as he grins at you widely. "Thank you. Thank you. Thank you, baby." His kisses smother you as he whispers his appreciation against you lips. You laugh, pushing him back to retain your tough act. Even though all you want is to be impaled on his cock again. "Whatever, Itadori. Just dont be late. Oh and one more thing: Not your baby." Your tell him in a sing song voice, walking away with a little extra sway in your hips. "We'll see bout that.." Yuuji says to himself, squeezing his dick as he stares at the jiggle of your backside.
pussydrunk!Yuuji who refused to take any chances now that he's finally got another shot. He makes sure to jerk off before he comes over, hoping to God that helps with feeling of your compact pussy. When he gets there, he starts off with your pleasure; has you cum on his hand and tongue first. Yuuji quickly finds out nuttin before was a good idea. Especially from how his dick keeps jolting at the feel of you round his fingers, the delicious fuckin taste of you drippin down into his mouth. You're beggin for a break by the time Yuuji puts you on your side. "Pleeease baby, c-can't yet. Need a few mintues." Voice low, already a bit hoarse from screaming his name for the past half hour. "Aw.. I'm ya baby now? That right?" He coos, chuckling at how you nod but try scootin up to escape him swipin his dick up and down you drenched slit. He pulls you back by your hips, his fingers itchin to grip your y/h/c locks and hold you in place. "Naw, where you goin? Said I could finally get in this cute lil pussy tonight." "Can, just need to catch my- YUUJI!" Your not sure if you ever hollered so fuckin loud in your life, your soul descending straight to the depths of hell when he skewers you on his thick dick. "Hold up, baby. Pleeease! Dont gotta stop. Just n-need a quick break." "Mm mm, y/n. Can't do that." One arm slidin underneath you to wrap around and hold your tummy; the other under your knee to lift up your leg. Yuuji's thrusts are slow and shallow, just testing the waters of your perfect cunt, hoping to keep some kinda composure. "Oh. My. GOD. Got my dick trapped, baby. Lemme go so I can fuck you." Pulls your trembling frame closer against his body, kissing your shoulder, sliding in so much fuckin deeper. "Wait, Yuuji, wait!" You never receive any reprieve though. He only kisses your shoulder a second time, grippin at your tummy fat as he speeds up. "Wish I could. Mmmfuck.. Waited too long already." Eyes rollin back when he smashes his pelvis against your juicy ass over and over. "Cant think, cant eat or fuckin sleep without this pussy, y/n/n." Yuuji lifts your leg higher, opening you wider as his dick jams in to the base. Your pussy's drooling all over his balls, tits bouncing wildly and its getting really fuckin hard to take. "Y/nnn! Holy fuckin shit- gonna be mad at me when I creampie you again? Dont be, princess. Know I can't help myself." You're unable to do little more than wordlessly keen in response, poor cunt rapidly fluttering as his curved girth jams your g spot. Shit, no one's ever fucked you so thoroughly. You've never felt like this; can't even take a breath as he nails the tender spot with too much accuracy. "Yuujiiiiii!" You're squealing and squirting all over his cock, makin a mess of him without permission- just like he did a few weeks ago. Except, Yuuji fuckin loves it, is instantly obsessed with the sight and sensation. His eyes cross, saliva running down his chin as his body spasms and he nuts in you with everything he's got. "Oh fuck, y/n. This pussy mine! Baby, say it. Say it's mine, tell me you belong to me." It's the first time he's given you any typa command but you submit like you've been doin it all your life. "Yooours, Yuji. Forever yours!"
today was a fairytale | alexander holtz
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
pairing : alexander holtz x fem!reader
warnings : one of my first fully written fics, swearing, use of y/n, switch of pov (will be written in italics!)
summary : when reader goes to a devil's game and decides to make a sign asking #10 for a puck in exchange for a lego set and he actually notices her and the day turns out to be like one in a fairytale.
word count : 1.6k
Tumblr media
y/n pov
“Girl, it’s a stupid idea, there’s a bunch of signs around the rink why would he choose yours?” your best friend says looking at the sign you made for your favourite player.
She always knew how to ruin the mood.
You slightly adjusted the sign in your hands which read, ‘Can I trade you a Lego set for a puck, #10?’ in a goofy font. The white card had been something you picked up from the craft store on your way home from work, an impulsive decision as always.
“But but but there’s barely any with his name on it, plus who cares, it’s fun okay, and if he actually spots me it’s a bonus,” you smiled clinging onto that little bit of hope that he would see your sign.
“Yeah, I guess,” your friend shrugged as a smirk grew on her face.
“What is it?” you asked knowing that when that smirk appeared there was always a plan brewing in her head.
“Oh nothing, just the fact that you are a beautiful hot girl who likes lego oh and he’s a guy who likes girls and lego, get his number girl,” she said jokingly nudging your shoulder.
In what world would ALEXANDER HOLTZ notice you?
“Okay get out of your Wattpad-loving brain, let’s just enjoy warmups and the game,” a smirk forming on your friend's face, “but no high hopes of anything more than the game.”
The lights started dimming in the arena, the colours of the devils shining bright with the booming voices from the speakers announcing the players would be entering the ice soon.
Your friend slapping your arm, “Look how cute they look, they’re Disney princesses with pads.”
“Yes, yes, I know to calm down, we don’t wanna look like the crazy ones,” you replied, being conscious of when #10 entered the ice.
Then there he was, gliding smoothly across the ice.
He could easily be on one of the top lines but he gets treated like shit from the shitty old coaches.
Warm-ups went on like normal, the silly superstitions, and pucks across the ice in every direction.
“He’s good at skating I guess,” your friend said smartly, “he plays for the NHL dipshit, of course, he’s good at skating.”
“I know but I looked at his stats and his ice time is really low and like that means he doesn’t have any chance to get good plays,” your friend shrugged, her eyes following his every move.
All she said was true, he dealt with the game. all he cared about was that he was in the league, the best league in the world for hockey.
Being a player's biggest fan came with the depression of the issues at hand, their places on the lines, their falls and other setbacks that come with being an NHL player, and every day you wish they could be the best and biggest player in the league.
Even harder being on a team with two top first-round picks and a bunch of other players who are raved about all around the league.
“Girl snap the fuck of out, he’s looking at you, right at you holy shit,” your friend said slapping your shoulder, pointing at him skating around in circles, locking eyes with you.
“Oh my god, no way he’s looking at me,” you said, jumping up and down not knowing what to do, stay weird or keep calm and try your best to look hot.
The Lego Ferrari car shook in your hand, the other shaking against the glass trying to keep your cool as he skated towards where you were situated.
alex pov
Skating towards such a pretty girl was scary, but the sign caught his eye. he didn’t get many signs, trades even and Lego is his favourite thing, so why wouldn’t he be excited?
The white, red and black sign with the pretty girl holding it couldn’t pass his way, maybe he’d even get a point this game.
Going home after a win but with little ice time and no points didn’t help with his mood. he’d sit on his couch in the dim room questioning why he could never be enough for the team and the league.
He has tried so hard.
y/n pov
“No way he’s gonna actually want the set. no way you are getting a puck, oh my god y/n this is crazy ahhh he’s coming towards us,” she said, slapping you repeatedly in the same spot, it was starting to hurt.
“Okay just stop, calm down and look cool girl,” you said, wanting to look as normal as possible for Alexander Holtz.
Tap, tap, tap on the glass.
A red glove right in front of your face, the culprit of the tapping noise.
His adorable smiling face looking at you, signalling to get ready for the puck to be thrown over the ice.
You smiled back and nodded, pulling the sign down, holding your hands ready to catch it, not believing what was going on.
You almost wanted to keep your eyes on him even when the puck had been thrown from his hands, but you obviously couldn’t.
The puck weighing in your hand, your eyes fixated on it.
"Y/n, y/n, y/n the lego set, stop googling at the puck and hand him the bloody lego set,” your friend said, slapping you once again.
“Oh fuck yeah wait, hold the puck while I chuck this thing over the glass,” you said, questioning if all those years of skipping gym were back to bite you.
First try, failed.
Second try, failed.
Third try, failed.
Fourth time, WE GOT IT.
He grinned at you one last time before turning around and skating to the bench to place the set down.
A weird feeling flowed through your body. Almost as if you’d just lost something, a presence and a sense of comfort just poof, gone.
But that thought quickly got taken away when the stadium filled with screams of die-hard fans, with you being one of them.
Somehow you’d made it to your seat already getting ready for the game to start.
You realised your head couldn’t stop thinking about the interaction with him, the puck clinging to your hand.
“Hey hey y/n, maybe loosen your grip on the puck, your knuckles are turning white and we don’t want to leave before the game even starts,” your friend said, nudging you to get your attention.
“Oh shit sorry, it’s just he’s so ahhhh, like oh my god he’s got something in his possession that I bought, with my own money,” you grinned, immediately the wave of regret of spending that much money on a lego set, washing away.
“Well let’s just enjoy this game and hope for a win and a Holtz point,” she said, holding up her overpriced drink to yours.
“I’ll toast to that, to Holtz getting a point and maybe a devil's won.”
“AND THE DEVILS WIN THE GAME WITH ALEXANDER HOLTZ AS THE STAR OF THE GAME”
The shock on your face shouldn’t have been that big but when a fourth-line player gets chosen as the star of the game it is huge.
“Girl he did it for you, you are his good luck charm, you need to give him something every game,” your friend yells beside you jumping out of her seat.
“Okay, I get hockey players are superstitious but girl there’s no way, let’s just leave it,” you sighed, your life couldn’t be all butterflies and rainbows.
It was not a Wattpad story, and you couldn’t treat it like it was. He probably just threw out the Lego set, you thought you were insane thinking there was a chance he actually remembered who you were; there’s no way he did.
alex pov
He couldn’t stop thinking about her smile, how it was the prettiest thing he had ever seen. and he got a goal, points, the fucking star of the game.
yeah, he laughed at people saying hockey players are suppositions and yeah he was a tiny bit. he had his routines but it was never that serious, the only thing different about his game was seeing her, locking eyes with her.
The Lego set sitting on his living room table was a reminder of how her smile made him feel, all bubbly inside like he could rule the world.
“Bro stop zoning out it’s scary, you just got star of the game let’s celebrate,” Luke said as he walked past you, he had invited himself in like he did every other night. win or lose he was there.
“Sorry sorry just trying to figure out what happened today that made me play so good.”
“It was totally that girl you were spying on from the start of the game to the end,” Luke joked, “this is the Lego set she gave you right?” he questioned picking it up off the table.
“Hey, don’t touch that,” he yelled, running towards Luke.
“Shit, sorry didn’t think it was such a big deal,” he said dropping the Lego set onto the table again.
“No sorry I just can’t seem to get her out of my head, and the thought I probably will never see her again,” Alexander said slowly sitting down on the couch.
“Okay don’t think about it that way, be happy you’ve somewhat met her and that you are the star, be present,” Luke replied sitting down on the couch like it was his own home, grabbing the remote and flicking some random show on.
“Never say something like that again, it's weird hearing advice from you,” Alex replied, shocked by the words coming out of his mouth.
“HEY,” Luke yelled, slapping him in the process.
It wasn’t like Luke thought, he still felt her presence somewhat, a faint smell of grapefruit which you would only notice if you really paid attention.
He couldn’t get away from the thought of her.
He couldn’t stop wondering when he’d see her again.
Pairing: Woosung x reader. Word count: 1157 words Warnings: Just a bunch of fluff and love Plot: Woosung asks you to marry him. A/N: I'm so in love with this concept and I really see him doing something like this with his S/O. We stan a king 💕 Hope you enjoy reading this little scenario 💕 P. S. Dojoon was the one giving me this idea when he mentioned he saw Woosung asking his gf to marry him with a sour candy ring as a joke Taglist -> let me know if you want to be added! VALENTINE'S DAY X THE ROSE
Tumblr media
It was a normal day in the office. Hajoon was practicing some beats, Jaehyeong was eating some snacks while playing on his phone, Woosung was in his studio playing with some melodies that have been clouding his mind lately and Dojoon was Dojooning as always.
You were surprised how calmed the building was but it was always like that once the tour was over. The only difference was the way Woosung had been treating you lately. And it is that after dating someone for almost 10 years should be a reason enough to get tired of the relationship or feel it a bit monotonous but in fact your relationship with Woosung was far away from that. You were not complaining at all but you had to admit you were surprised that Woosung has been treating you in a very lovely and a very clingy way lately.
He has always been very goofy with you but he was more lately. He has always been very territorial with you, not wanting anybody to have any opportunity to steal you from him, but he has been more lately. He would even ask you to sit on his lap whenever you were with the rest of the members or with friends, stating that he just wanted to be close to you.
You’ve tried asking him if there was something that made him act like that but he just said that it was because of the tour and not having enough quality time with you because of the tight schedules. Little did you know what he had in mind.
You exited the convenience store with a bag full of food to eat lunch with Woosung, just like you promised you would do once the tour was over. You decided to get some extra food to share with the rest of the boys even though Woosung told you that he wouldn’t let anybody interrupt your little date.
Once you arrived, you both went straight to the small terrace the building had. The same terrace where you took one of your favorite pictures that perfectly showed the personalities of your boyfriend and one of your best friends. The same terrace where you took that picture of him and Dojoon in underwear before a shooting while Woosung smoked. You were so in love with that picture for some reason.
“I have a few surprises for you today.” He said as you both ate in peace. You widened your eyes. “It’s not my birthday yet.” You said laughing. “What? Can’t I give the woman of my life a surprise without any specific reason?” He playfully said, placing a big kiss on your cheek making you blush. “It’s amazing how after 10 years I still make you blush with just a kiss.” He admired you, placing another big kiss on your cheek, this time harder. “What’s wrong with you?” You said, laughing uncontrollably and cringing a bit at his sudden behavior. “I just love you so much.” He said, a wide smile decorating his cherry lips. They looked so tempting. So sweet. You were about to get a taste of them and drown that smile in a deep kiss when he removed his face from you, turning to take a small box from his pocket. “Open it.” He said as he continued to finish his noodles.
When you opened the box, a sour candy ring popped out. You looked at him in confusion, not understanding what was going on. “Marry me?” He said, mouth full of the last bite of his noodles. You couldn’t believe he was asking you such a question in the least romantic way and with the least romantic ring. “You gotta be kidding me.” You said, a serious tone appearing in your voice, disappointment written all over your face. You’ve always dreamt about how he would ask you to be his wife but this was definitely not in the list of scenarios you imagined. He let out a soft laugh. “Meet me downstairs then.” He said, leaving you alone with your sour candy ring.
You ran behind him, not understanding what was going on. And then you finally found the room where everything was settled for a proper proposal. “Is this more of what you imagined?” He said with a cheeky smile, full of satisfaction for teasing you back on the terrace with that candy. “Fuck you Kim Woosung.” You said, tears already forming in the corner of your eyes as you hit his chest and covered your face. “Sure Mrs. Kim (Y/N).” He said, taking you into his arms, a massive smile decorating his face. Hearing him call you with his last name made your heart skip a beat. “I guess we’ll go to the first band wedding then.” Dojoon teased. “Actually I haven’t even asked her properly yet.” Woosung said, releasing his embrace from you. He signed for you to wait a moment and stand in front of him while clearing his throat before he started his little speech. “After 10 years, we managed to support each other and deal with each other’s annoying selves.” He teased, gaining a drown in tears laugh from you. At this point you didn’t care anymore if you were ugly crying in front of everyone. You didn’t care if he teased you about it afterwards because that was the boy you fell in love with 10 years ago. “We’ve shared cigarettes, alcohol bottles, hangovers, beds, foods, drinks, sickness and even DNA when we kiss…” He continued, making you laugh at the memory of all the things he mentioned. “You didn’t need to be that specific…” Jaehyeong quietly said disgustedly at that last statement. But Woosung ignored him. “And now, you would make me so happy and proud if you accept sharing our life until death do us apart.” He said, finally revealing a beautiful ring with a few rubies on it. You were amazed by its beauty.
“So? Would you marry me?” He asked, waiting impatiently for your answer. “Of course yes.” You said, throwing yourself into his arms. “You didn’t look this convinced when I asked you out there.” He said hugging you tightly, a massive smile drawn in his face. “That was not a proposal.” You said, letting go of him and staring with a death glare. “You at least gotta admit it was original.” He said proud of his first attempt. “Can you just put the ring on her finger and kiss?” Hajoon said impatiently, making everyone laugh.
And just like that Woosung was ready to give everything he had to take care of you. To show you he is the husband you always knew he was. And you were ready to show him you were made to be with him ever since you both met. Now another 10, 20, 30, 40, 1000000 years wait for both of you. Just like Woosung said, until death do you apart and even more.
There You Are Sweetheart. | Steve Rogers x Reader One Short.
Tumblr media
Summary: Y/n just wanted to bring her sister a package. What she didn't expect was being picked on by two soldiers or being rescued by a handsome stranger.
Steve Rogers x Reader
Word count: 1,909
Warnings: fluff and some goofiness. Y/n does get harassed by some jerks, but nothing happens. Let me know if I missed anything.
Note: very minimal editing and gold stars to anyone who catches what this is a reference to.
Tumblr media
It's beginning to feel like spring. The cherry blossoms have sprung into bloom, and Y/n has a date to bring her sister, Felicity, a package that was delivered to her house whilst Felicity was away. On the way there, her horrible sense of direction has her taking a wrong turn and into the pathway of some soilders on their lunch break. Will Y/N end up in some sort of trouble, or will someone dashing come to her rescue? Read to find out.
Hey! I'll be at on a coffee shop today at 3... Could you bring me my package then? It's a little hole in the wall place by all the fancy vintage stores you like.
Of course, Felicity would want to meet at a coffee shop. Y/n was positive her sweet younger sister couldn't survive even a couple of hours without a caffeine kick.
She looked around her office (which was really her apartment) for an excuse to stay in, but couldn't find any. All of the outfits that needed tailoring had already been tailored.
Plus, really, she hadn't seen her sister for a while, and they needed to catch up. Y/n just hated going out in the late afternoon. It meant that she'd likely be heading back during rush hour and would end up eating dinner late. If there was anything that y/n didn't appreciate, was having her routine messed up. . . She was well aware that she lived like a little old lady sometimes.
Closer to time, she got dressed in an outfit that was fit to be seen in. Her baby pink lounge set was incredibly comfortable for working long hours at home, but it was hardly a fashion statement.
The coffee shop in question was about 15 blocks away from her place, so she decided to walk. Admittedly, this probably wasn't the best idea in the world. Y/n has a tendency to get lost in her local grocery store.
So, with an earphone in one ear, she listened to her favorite oldies playlist, as life was better when it had a soundtrack and was on her way.
A few blocks down, she took a left down an alley that was its own hole in the wall. It held a bar favored by military members and directly across from that there was a karaoke pizza joint. Y/n always thought that made an odd coupling.
Tho, a part of her wondered if the college girls who favored the pizza place went there just for the chance of getting with an army man without any understanding of what military life was really like.
She was musing on this when two soldiers stepped out directly in front of her and thereby blocked her pathway.
"Um. Excuse me." She gasped, trying to get around them.
"Looks like this little mouse lost her way," one of them joked, taking a swig from his beer bottle.
She shook her head, "Oh no, I'm not lost."
The second soldier peered down at her with a grin on his face and then said, "This little mouse looks thirsty. We should take her to get a drink."
Y/n was beginning to get nervous, and she had no idea how she was going to get out of this situation. She had never had any issues cutting through here before, but now she was wishing she had taken the route that passed the pet store instead.
All she could think to say was, "No thanks, my sister is waiting for me." Hopping that by knowing she had some place to be that they would just leave her be.
But they just shared a glance, laughing to themselves before the one of the right replied with a "We've heard that excuse before." Then the one on the left winked at her and said, "She's actually pretty cute for a mouse."
His pal chuckled and then reached out to place a hand on her shoulder, "How old are you anyway? Live close by?"
Now they were both getting uncomfortably close, and y/n had a terrible vision about being stuck having to sit in this bar with them until they had gone from just tipsy to black out drunk.
"Leave me alone!" She tried to yell, but it came out as more of a loud statement.
"You see, your personality scares all the girls."So I think she's cuter when she's scared."
She was done for, body stiffening up, hands trembling, trying not to drop the package.
"There you are, sweetheart," someone said behind her. Only when someone tucked their arm around hers and pulled her from the soldiers' grasp did she realize that the stranger was talking to her.
But she certainly didn't know anyone who would call her that. That much she was sure of.
"I'm sorry I'm late." He said, gazing down at her. She had to crane her neck just to look him in the eye. He was a tall, blond headed man with strong features. His bright blue eyes bore into hers with concern.
Did she know this man? No. No, she did not. But all she could manage to do in response to his saving her from these two was to open and close her mouth repeatedly.
"I've been looking for you everywhere." Her rescuer continued acting like they knew each other. Not only knew each other but were in some sort of relationship.
Oh boy, was y/n's head spinning now.
"Hey man, we were just talking to your girl here." One of the soilders tried to explain.
Her rescuer looked at the pair and then said, "Really? It looked to me like you were trying to force a lady into drinks after she said no. Time to learn some boundaries, gentlemen. We'll be going." And then he gently led her up and out of the alleyway, only stopping once they were completely out of sight of the bar.
"Are you ok?" He asked, his head tilting to get a better look at her face. This man had to at least be 6"2, and he made y/n feel positively tiny.
Taking a deep breath, she nodded. "I will. I will never take that street again. That's for sure."I'm sorry that it did. Letting off steam is no excuse to treat a lady that way."
"Thank you. . . I don't know what I would've done if you hadn't come along like that." She said, pulling the hem of her cardigan sleeve.
"I was just doing what anyone should do in a situation like that,"
"But. Can I ask-- No nevermind." She mumbled, feeling her cheeks heat up from embarrassment.
"No, no. Go on, please, " He encouraged, actually seeming eager to hear her out.
"Wh - why'd you pretend to be my boyfriend or something?" She asked, feeling really, really stupid.
Now he was blushing.
"To be honest, ma'am, it was the only thing I could think of on the spur of the moment." He said with a nervous laugh.
When her phone chimed, y/n pulled it out to see a text from Felicity.
where are you?
"Well, I thought it was smart. . . You're very much the gentlemen." She said with a smile, feeling much more relaxed than she had a moment ago.
He looked like he was about to say something when her phone chimed again
Beginning to freak out a bit, sis. Are you ok?
Y/n sighed, looking from the phone screen up to her rescuer. "I should... I should probably get going. My sister's getting worried about me."
"Where is it you're headed? If you don't mind me asking." He asked, shoving his hands in his pockets. How was it possible for someone to look so at ease and yet so uncomfortable at the same time?
"She wanted to meet at a coffee shop a few blocks away from here." Y/n replied, adjusting her bag and trying to look anywhere but at him.
They made quite the pair.
After shifting from foot to foot for a moment, he said, "I could walk you."
Y/n didn't know why, but that small gesture made her smile in the biggest way.
"Really? You don't have to."Ah. Well, now I'm invested after all. I've been looking for you all day." He said, matching her smile. If she could read his mind right now, she'd know that he just congratulated himself for coming up with something that was smooth as a response
So he offered her his arm again, and the pair made their way to the coffee shop.
Meandering past store fronts and other businesses as they went.
"This is it." Y/n fianlly said, stopping in her tracks.
It was a coffee shop that looked like it hadn't aged for about 60 years.
"I love this side of town," He said as a response.
"Things feel a little more normal here." "More normal?" Y/n asked, not understanding what he meant by that statement.
"That would be a very long story that we don't have time for at the present moment." He said again, smiling down at her.
"Oh. I see." Y/n giggled at her own confusion. This man saved her, escorted her to meet her sister, and now adds some mystery to the mix.
"I'll let you go. Don't want to worry that sister of yours anymore." He said with a tip of his head and he started to walk away.
"Wait!" Y/n blurted, forgetting herself. He turned to face her again, judging by the expression on his face, he was surprised by her sudden outburst. Then his brows shot up as if to say, "Go on."
"What's -whats your name?" She asked, willing herself to hold onto this bold feeling long enough to get this out.
He smiled and then said, "Steve Rogers."
Y/n's eyes widened, and her boldness melted into total embarrassment. Perhaps she was drugged or something to be out of her mind enough to not realize she had been with not just some kind stranger off the street, but rather CAPTAIN AMERICA. And he had called her "sweetheart", even if he hadn't really meant it, he had still said it.
She would dream about that for the next month while she hemmed dresses.
"Miss. Miss!" Steve said, having come closer again to get her attention. Y/n jumped when she realized he was right in front of her.
"Sorry. I'm y/n y/l/n. "
"Well, y/n y/l/n," He said, reaching into his pocket, pulling out a pocket notebook he scribbled something down and then gave it to her. "If you happen to be free this Friday night. There's a restaurant in this neighborhood. Very old timey, like me. . ." He said nervously, laughing again. "We could have a meal, I could tell you that story and I could learn more about you. I mean, aside from the fact that you have a sister and listen to 'Sh Boom' when you walk around the city."
He had noticed what she had been listening to?
All y/n could do was squeak a "yes." Before running back into the coffee shop and slamming the door in his face.
Felicity looked up in surprise, "What took you so long? Are you ok?"
Y/n sat down and, in one breath, said, "I think Captain America just asked me out on a date, and I said yes."
NOTE: I wrote this in one sitting, and at first, I thought it was sweet. Now, I think I might have actually made it corny. I'm going with it anyways but please let me know what you thought of it. Thanks!
Note 2: Part 3 of 'That's my Girl' will be coming out soonish keep an eye out!
Funny Coincidence? [Bang Chan x Reader]
Genre: fluff
Warnings: none at all ~
Geneal information: Reader is hinted to be female, but overall I kept them pretty gender neutral. Excuse any typos and mistakes, English isn't my native language
*looks at camera* Arien, this is for you ~🩷 Heavily inspired in a situation that happened irl with my friend and her reason to get that husky family Enjoy your read~ 🐺🖤
Tumblr media
Christopher could not keep his eyes away from the pastel colored box, silliness coloring his smile and bubbling in his chest.
Their little beady eyes stared up at him in the cutest way, tiny fuzzy faces adding to their adorableness. Not to mention the minuscule clothes and accessories that only worsened the cute aggression felt in that moment.
Sylvanian Families - Husky Family
He couldn't control the giggles caught in his throat, letting them out into the air while kicking his legs from the emotion.
A mom dressed in a tiny pastel pink dress
A dad doning the smallest set of blue shirt and pants
And three adorable baby huskies swaddles in different pastel colored blankies
Your boyfriend remembers the stars in your eyes and the gasp that left you when you locked your gaze on that particular set of miniature animals weeks back.
How could he? That child-like joy looked beautiful on you!
Chris remembers how you clinged to his arm and dragged him into the toy store, begging and listing off the reasons why you "absolutely needed" that set.
You yolted with excitement when the shopkeep announced it was their last box of that particular set, growing anxious at the prospect of getting your hands over the husky family.
"If I may ask and know, what is so special of this set that you "must" have it?"
Words failed you and slipped off your tongue without any sense as a stuttered excuse was conjured by your brain, "Childhood pet! Yep, and it's a limited edition, too!" You held the small box close to your chest while making your way to the register, "C-C'mon, there's no way I'll let this opportinuty go... It's the last set!"
A heavy blush covered your cheeks, even tinting the tips of your ears, after his curiosity reached you.
You might think those small, fuzzy animals are the cutest ever, but your flushed face right then and there was his opinion on cutest ever.
So, that day you went home with new figurines to display on your desk and with the sweetest, biggest smile on your lips.
Later on, BangChan did his research and found out the husky family wasn't really a limited set, or at least that's what Calico Critter forums said. Needless to say, that curiosity from earlier resurfaced.
What was the real reason you were desperate to get them?
It wasn't until today that it dawned on him.
You had made plans to spend some time together at your apartment, watch some movies, play some games, and enjoy your favorite snacks.
Once his eyes landed on your desk, he matched two and two together.
You had run out the room to refill your drink. This left him all alone in your personal paradise, filled with trinkets and decorations that showed your unique and colorful self.
From soft PomPomPurin plushies to anime figurines and posters on your walls, with photo frames of you with your friends, family and boyfriend scattered here and there.
Your very own WolfChan plush stood right beside the husky family, with a polaroid of your 2nd anniversary date and one of his photocards situated in between your collectibles.
The spark went off in his brain
Huskies do look a lot like wolves, after all
"Is that supposed to be...us?" Chris mused to himself, a smile growing on his lips.
Love exploded in his chest, emotions running a mile a minute, leaving his brain completely melted at just how utterly adorable you were.
His heart skipped a beat, "So, does that mean... [Name] wants a family? With me?!"
That's how we end up with Chan kicking his legs in excitement as giggles erupt from his lips, face burried in one of your plushies to muffle the sound and hide his goofy fanboy smile.
At the sound of your footsteps approaching, he quickly stood up, rearranged Purin properly on your bed, and took deep breaths to calm down, appear as if nothing had happened.
As soon as you stepped in, his arms were around you, bringing you close to him, "Hey~"
Careful, not wanting to spill your drink, you hugged him back, "Hey there~ Missed me much?"
Chris shrugged, "Eh, kinda," As much as he wanted to appear nonchalant, the roll of his chuckle betrayed him.
While you knew him to be a cheery, funny guy, something about his demeanor felt off.
"What's up? Saw a funny tiktok or something?" You inquired.
He shook his head, "No, no, I just-... Just wondering~"
You took this as your queue to separate slightly and look up at him, taking the opportunity to set your glass down on a stable surface.
"Oh? Can I know about what, luv?" You asked.
More giggles came to the surface as he looked at you, carressing the small of your back with his thumb from where his arms remained loosely on your waist.
Confused, but with his excitement being contagious, a smile formed on your lips as you waited for his answer.
Pink dusted his cheeks, love and eagerness shining in his eyes, "Should we get started making the husky babies?"
You tilted your head slightly, not fully understanding his suggestive tone.
"Wha-OH!" You exclaimed once you followed his gaze to your desk, or rather, to the box containing your Calico Critters.
"Oh my god, Christopher!" That adorable blush from the day you acquired the set returned to your face, hands going up to cover your cheeks.
Laughter filled the air as the leader of Stray Kids brought you back to his chest, showing his teasing ment no harm or pressure, it was simply a silly joke. A joke to demonstrate he understood now the reason why you wanted that specific family of dogs.
All you could do was groan as more laughter spilled from him.
"It's okay, babe! If anything, I think that's quite cute, and I agree with your vision," He reassured, hand going up to pat your head.
At the mention of cute, you peeked up at him slightly, indirectly inquiring an explanation.
Christ pointed at the box, "It's us! It totally is us!" His glee was akin to that of a small child, "Well, us in a future, 'cus we agreed that kids aren't in the picture just yet."
You snorted silently, hitting his chest without force in your hand, "You dork."
He feighend offence, "Me?! You're the one who thought of us with that set! You're the bigger dork here!"
You resorted to further burrying your face into his chest with a small giggle, embarrassment dissipating.
Well, the "secret" was out, but at last he reacted the best way possible!
Even if you couldn't see, Chan smiled down at you and placed a kiss to the top of your head. "Really, it's very adorable. You don't know what you did to my heart."
You remained like that for a while longer, enjoying the close proximity and warmth of his embrace.
Slowly, you turned towards your decorated desk and reached for the Sylvanians. You held it our for both of you to look at closely.
"It's us."
"It really is us."
You looked at Chan and he looked at you, both sharing a sweet smile as he brought your foreheads together.
"You're so silly," he said.
"And you love silly old me~," you said with triumph.
"Yeah, I do," overwhelming love was evident in his voice.
It was only natural for your lips to find each other after, longing to demostrate the mutual adoration that gives life to your relationship.
[ END ]
birthday countdown 2024, day 6: no divorce au snippet
the birthday countdown continues! today, i have for you a bit of young luffy pov from the shuggy no divorce au:
“The rest of my crew has returned to me!” Shanks called over his shoulder, running out of the bar with another laughing shout of joy.  Luffy stared after him in shock; he’d never seen Shanks so happy.  Goofy, yes, having fun, all the time, but not, he realized now, really happy.  Luffy hadn’t known Shanks was feeling even a little bit sad until it all went away.  He was pretty good at hiding his true thoughts, for a grown-up. “‘The rest of my crew,’ right,” Yasopp said with a chuckle. “Just because there’s one person he’s happier to see than the rest doesn’t mean he isn’t happy to see everyone,” Lucky Roux said with a wide, wide grin that made Luffy think he maybe didn’t really mean what he was saying. But that was fine; the idea of Shanks having one person he was extra excited to see interested Luffy.  And he had a feeling he knew who it was, too: Shanks’ first mate!
(about 1.5k below the cut)
There came a day, hanging out with Shanks and his Red-Blue Pirates, when Luffy changed some lives forever, though it took him another ten years to realize what exactly he’d done.  That was the day their secondary ship, the Blue Moon, arrived at Windmill Village for the first time.
Shanks was at Party’s Bar along with a couple of his higher ranked officers, drinking and chatting with Makino, when the man who’d been on watch dashed in with a telescope in hand.  Panting breathlessly, he held it out to Shanks, who took it outside and peered through it for a moment before letting out a happy cry. Ducking back in the doorway he said, “Makino, prepare yourself!  We’re drinking your stores dry tonight!”
Beckman and Yasopp exchanged an amused look.  Lucky Roux whooped.
Makino smiled behind her hand, like that way the pirates wouldn’t be able to see it.  “What’s the occasion?”
“The rest of my crew has returned to me!” Shanks called over his shoulder, running out of the bar with another laughing shout of joy.  Luffy stared after him in shock; he’d never seen Shanks so happy.  Goofy, yes, having fun, all the time, but not, he realized now, really happy.  Luffy hadn’t known Shanks was feeling even a little bit sad until it all went away.  He was pretty good at hiding his true thoughts, for a grown-up.
“‘The rest of my crew,’ right,” Yasopp said with a chuckle.
“Just because there’s one person he’s happier to see than the rest doesn’t mean he isn’t happy to see everyone,” Lucky Roux said with a wide, wide grin that made Luffy think he maybe didn’t really mean what he was saying.
But that was fine; the idea of Shanks having one person he was extra excited to see interested Luffy.  And he had a feeling he knew who it was, too: Shanks’ first mate!
For weeks, Luffy was sure Benn Beckman was the first mate, because he was always the person Shanks’ guys looked to if Shanks wasn’t around, and who would that be but the first mate?  But the first time Luffy tried to be polite (a fairly foreign concept to Luffy, but it did make some people act nicer) by calling him Mr. First Mate, Beckman leaned back in his chair and laughed.
“I’m not the first mate, Luffy,” he explained, “I’m the second mate.  When Shanks and our first mate aren’t around, I’m in charge.”
“Oh, I see, so that’s the order it goes.”  Luffy nodded thoughtfully.  He squinted up at Beckman.  “Then who’s the first mate?”
“Ah, you haven’t met him yet,” Beckman said, scratching the side of his neck.  “He’s been off on a treasure hunt for a while.”
“Treasure!”  Now that was a pirate thing!  Luffy’s eyes shone at the thought.  “Why didn’t the rest of you go with him?  Don’t you care about treasure?”
Beckman laughed.  “No one cares about treasure the way our first mate does, Luffy,” he said.  “He gets so focused on one map, one story of hidden, lost gold, his treasure hunts can last for months.”
“Months?!”
“The longest so far was six.  Even Shanks can’t keep up with him that long, so they have an arrangement.  When our first mate gets the urge to hunt for treasure non-stop, he and a few crew members take one of our smaller boats, and Shanks and the rest of us hole up on a nice little island for a time, like this one.  When he’s found it, or given up—though he never gives up unless the Navy gets on his tail—he knows where to find us, and the rest of us get to relax, train, make some shorter trips in this part of the sea… whatever we want to do.”
“Huh.”  Luffy considered this arrangement.  “But isn’t he really the captain of that other boat, then?  If he’s never around, and you’re always doing first mate things?”
“These urges only come on him once a year or so, he’s around often enough,” Beckman said, taking a pull off his cigarette.  “And anyway, Shanks wouldn’t have anyone else as his first mate.”
Luffy blinked.  “Why not?”
Beckman laughed.  “That’s an excellent question.  You’d have to ask Shanks.”
When asked, Shanks laughed too.  “Did Beck put you up to this?  That guy.”  He shook his head, tsking, ignoring the way Luffy was starting to steam at his question being ignored.  “My first mate’s my first mate because he’s my first mate!  That’s all there is to it.”
Fuming, Luffy shouted, “What kind of answer is that?!”
“The truth,” Shanks said simply.  “The two of us are captain and first mate.  It’s always been that way, it’s always gonna be that way.”
There was something behind his tone of voice Luffy didn’t understand.  “Is it just because he was the first person to join your crew?” he asked skeptically.  “Did you have to promise he would be first mate forever to get him to join?”
“No.”
“Then…”
“Luffy.”  Shanks was looking very serious at this point.  “There are some bonds between pirates that are hard to explain to ordinary people.  The bond between captain and first mate is one of them.  You have to know each other well.  There has to be a lot of trust there.”
“Trust?”
“Yeah.  I trust him to have my back, to guard my weak points in a fight and look out for my interests in an argument.  I trust that if anything ever happens to me, he’ll look out for our ship and our crew. I trust that he believes we’re doing the right thing, that working together is going to get us what we want—and that if that ever changes, he’ll tell me so to my face.” Shanks smiled. “There’s no one I trust more than him.”
Luffy blew out his breath huffily. “Is that all? Trust?”
“It’s the most important thing, Luffy.”
“Hm.”  Luffy didn’t know anybody he felt that way about.  Would he make a bad pirate?
“Hey, what’s that worried face for?”  Luffy explained his dilemma, and scowled when Shanks laughed again.  He wasn’t taking Luffy seriously!  “Oh, kid, don’t worry so much.  Not everyone’s as lucky as me, to find that person before I even started looking!”  Shanks’ laughter trailed off and he sighed, leaning backwards to stare out the open door of Party’s Bar.  “How much longer is he gonna be, though…?”
“Oh?  But I thought you trusted him to find the treasure and take care of the ship and everything?”
“I trust him!  I just also miss him.”
The bonds of pirate friendship ran deep!  Luffy wanted to see it for himself!  With a wave goodbye to Makino, he ran off after Shanks.  New pirates!  He cheered at the thought.  What other kinds of pirates might work for Shanks?  Of the ones Luffy knew, all of them were human men, except for the monkey… maybe a lion?  A fishman?  A bird?!
At the dock next to Shanks’ ship was a small boat with a pointy front Luffy just knew was made for speed.  It proudly bore the Red-Blue Pirates’ flag, though the red and blue swords were swapped around and it didn’t have the three lines across one eye.  Weird.  Pirates—some that Luffy recognized, a few strangers—were carrying wooden boxes off the little boat and up onto Shanks’ bigger one.  Treasure!  Luffy shook his head furiously.  No!  He could stare at the treasure later!  He was looking for Shanks now!
But to his disappointment, Shanks wasn’t doing any happy shouting or cheering with his crew.  He was hugging, the laughing-spinning-clinging kind of hug Luffy only saw when Mrs. Chicken welcomed her husband back from one of his long fishing trips.  Luffy scowled and crossed his arms at the sight.  Here he’d thought Shanks was cool, but one visit from a long-haired jewelry-covered somebody and he got as gooshy as all the villagers did.
“Aw, what’s wrong, kid?” asked Yasopp, stepping up beside Luffy.  “Did they not let you see the treasure?”
Luffy scuffed a sandal against the dock.  “I wanted to see Shanks’ first mate,” he complained, “but he’s too busy hugging his girlfriend.” Yasopp put a fist against his mouth and a weird noise came out, like when Meat (the stray cat Luffy had tried to adopt last year) didn’t like how tight Luffy held him.  Luffy gave him a concerned look.  “Are you okay?”
Request: Josh Allen X Wife!Reader. Josh takes his wife shopping after a game (she's very introverted and to herself mostly) and they have a good time along with dinner.
sweet voices - Josh Allen
Summary: Josh is a very emotional person, and his only outlet on those emotions is his beautiful, recent wife, y/n. so after a beautiful football win, he decides to treat his beautiful wife
Notes: despite the HORRIBLE summary, this is going to be good and cute i PROMISE.
Tumblr media
Josh was so giddy and happy, not only because of the game, but today was the first day he got to come home from a win, and he greeted by his newly wed wife, instead of his long term girlfriend
it was his first time going home to see the woman, whom he’s been with for ten years, as his wife, and his forever. and boy did he have an amazing celebration for them.
walking through the door, freshly showered and happily excited. “Princess i’m home!” he said excitedly, finding his wife laying on the couch in an oversized bills hoodie, curtesy of joshes side of the closet. “Hey joshey!” she said, swinging her legs over the couch, smiling at her husband. “hello my wife” he spoke, kissing her forehead. “Congrats on the win my love, you played amazing, i’m so sorry i couldn’t be there” she apologized, y/n didn’t really enjoy the stadium scene, she loved watching the games from home, but actually being there put a pit in her stomach because of the fact she was alone without josh in a group full of people, so she opted with staying home and cheering him on from the couch. she does attend some games, sitting with his parents in the VIP box, but only the games they can attend, to make her feel a bit more comfortable.
“never mind that, you watched that’s all that matters. how is my wife?” he asks, sitting next to her on the couch, draping his arm over her shoulder and kissing her cheek. “i’m great really, enjoying lounging around” josh smiled, standing up. “we’ll too bad, go change i have a surprise” he said with a big goofy grin. y/n looked at him suspiciously, as he grabbed her hand to help her off the couch. “what is it?” josh laughed, pulling her up gently, and rubbing her back. “you wish” he whispered, kissing her cheek and walking toward their bedroom.
after y/n got dressed josh led her to the car, opening the door for his wife. “josh what are we doing?” she asked as he got into the driver seat of his car. “we’re going shopping” he said, pulling out of the driveway. “what for?” josh grabbed y/ns hand in his and rested them on the center console. “whatever your heart desires babe” y/n shook her head. josh interrupted before she could say a word. “before you say anything about celebrating my win, this is how i want to do it. i want to sit down and have a nice dinner with my wife and treat her to whatever she wants to buy” he explained, smiling over at her, she nodded quietly, happy and content with her life.
as the drive went on, y/n watched josh as he drove the car. “i’m proud of you for your win today babe” she spoke, running her fingers across his hand. “i really appreciate that” he said, bringing her hand up to kiss it. “you played really well and you kept your cool” she continued, wanting to make it clear that she watched the game, she felt bad for not being able to attend. “y/n, love, you don’t have to worry about not coming to my games” he promised. “i know you support me and you try every time you can” josh reassured y/n, letting her know that he wasn’t upset at all by her not being there.
once the two got to the mall, josh opened y/ns door and led her into the mall, her hand held tightly in his own. their first stop, one hundred percent josh’s idea, was the lego store. “josh we will never have time to build one of these” y/n laughed, josh shook his head and led her to the lego flower section. “we will reserve a date night for wine, movies, and legos” he said, happily allowing y/n to pick a set. y/n grabbed the roses and josh grabbed the cherry blossom bonzai tree and the husband and wife checked out of the store
through out the store josh was being stopped left and right for pictures, but y/n didn’t mind, she always stepped off to the side and waited for the large crowd to subside from her husband so they could continue their much needed family time. but one crowd in particular did not allow y/n to enjoy her time with josh. it was a group of four girls, all about 14, all wanting pictures with josh. y/n stepped aside, trying to go unseen by the eyes of the public, keeping completely to herself as she walked over and sat on a bench. the girls, after their picture, had continued to ask josh various questions, and crowd him with warnings of facetimes to friends, and autographs, and to make tiktoks, and all josh wanted was to be with his wife
“girls, i really do appreciate the support but my wife-“ the tallest girl cut him off. “josh my dads a big fan can you call him?” josh shook his head. “i really need to get back to my wife” he said, turning towards y/n. the girl crossed her arms. “wow. i thought you were a nice guy, seems to me like your faking it” she said, taking a stab at his attempt to just go shopping with his wife. josh turned around, not noticing y/n walking towards them. “like i said girls, i really appreciate the support, but my whole life isn’t football and pictures and autographs, i have a wife. and she is my whole world, and i will not jeopardize my whole world pictures and tiktoks with 14 year olds” he came off a bit more rude than he wished, but his anger got the best of him as he turned to find his wife grabbing his hand to drag him away from the crowd.
“can a guy not have alone time with his woman from time to time?” josh laughed, draping his arm over y/ns shoulder as they walked away. “not when that guy is a famous football player” y/n said, laughing back at him. “i love playing football and i love the fans, but man they gotta understand that i love my wife way more” y/n giggled, kissing joshes hand that rests on her shoulder. “i love you josh” she said, smiling. “i love you sweet girl” he promised.
the next store the couple found themselves in was build a bear, and without any protests, y/n began running through the store like a kid.
she squealed as she came across the nightmare before christmas section “i don’t know which one to choose!” she complained, deciding between getting all three lock shock and barrel, or oogie boogie, or jack. “they are so cute” she complained some more, huffing and puffing over stuffed bears. “how about i get jack, and you get sally and we can do voice memos and i’ll take sally to put in my locker at work, and you take jack” josh suggested, to which y/n almost fell over out of happiness.
y/n grabbed the bear for sally and began to build her, making josh stand on the other side of the store waiting, so that the voice memo could be a surprise. when she was finished it was josh’s turn. the two promised not to play the voice memos until josh went to work the next morning, and y/n was at home.
after the mall, josh had picked a restaurant , because y/n was TERRIBLE at deciding where to eat, and they had finally sat down to relax. josh held both of y/ns hands across the table as they talked. y/n rambled i’m about her day, and how happy she was to watch the game, and josh rambled about all of the things he could’ve improved on and all of the things he had shown signs of already improving on.
y/n loved listening to josh rant about football, something about his voice automatically calmed her down from the world. she loved spending this time with josh.
“thank you for taking me out today” she said, smiling at him. “of course y/n, we deserve to have some time to just us, husband and wife” he said, running his thumb atop her knuckles.
the next day, when josh was at practice, y/n grabbed the jack bear, and sat on her and josh’s bed.
while josh had done the same at the stadium, finding some privacy to listen to the bear
y/n pressed play. “I love you princess, never forget. every single win is for you my wife, mwah!” y/n giggled, hugging the bear to her chest. her smile never faded.
may the stadium, or was josh’s turn to press play. “Remember to stay calm joshy, don’t forget i’m always watching your games no matter what, win or lose, i love you!” josh smiled so bright, with all that love, this bear could win buffalo a super bowl.
Tangerine Skies: Possum x Y/N Series CH 8
Tagging: @svgarcaine @icarus-star @romanroyapoligist @tempt-ress @madamemaximoff06 @shady-the-simp @liquidsmoothdomme @auggiethecreator @ethical-cain-vinnel @blacksoul-27
TW: Fingering, Public sex
Possum stayed in the RV with Y/n for the week so he could recover. She made sure to go to the store and get some bandages, ointment and a few other things to help ease his pain and support his healing. Possum liked living in the RV. It was a new experience for him but what he liked most about it was waking up to Y/n wrapped around him, ready to either fuck or make breakfast. He had never really been in an actual relationship before and this felt like a dream come true.
"How's your leg feeling today?" Y/n was laying on his chest, drawing circles around his nipple. He lifted his leg and shook it out.
"Stiff but better. You should be a nurse." Possum suggested.
"Yeah I don't know that I have the stomach for that. Plus I'm easily emotional. I couldn't handle that kind of stress." Y/n pushed off his chest and he reached out to touch her naked breasts.
"I told you, no playing today. I can't be late for work." She smirked watching him sit up and put her nipple in his mouth.
"I'm not playing. I'm helping you get ready for work." Possum's hands snaked under the sheets finding her pussy easily and not hesitating to thrust his fingers inside. She moaned letting her hand fall to his forearm as he pumped into her at a steady pace. She had confessed to Possum that he had never gotten off the way he gets her off. He took that as a personal honor and wanted to make her cum multiple times a day.
"Yeah there she is. There's my good girl." He cooed at her licking her bottom lip as she whined. She leaned her forehead against his as she bucked into his hand. She felt herself closing in on her orgasm and Possum moaned feeling her tighten around his fingers. When she came, he took his wet hand and started to pump his cock until he came into his palm. Y/n lapped at his cum like a cat and he gave her a goofy smile.
"I have to get dressed now." She tried to get up but could feel her legs not really ready to allow that so she laughed into her hands. Possum instead crawled out of the bed and pulled her uniform off the back of the closet door, completely naked and handed it to her.
"Do you care if I shower while you get dressed? I think I might ride into work with you so I can grab a few things." Possum hadn't even turned the water on until Y/n gave him permission. She nodded her head and watched his naked ass step into the shower stall and heard the water turn on. She wished she had time for a round two in the shower but she knew that if she was late again, she would have to hear about it.
She liked the little life her and Possum had started creating. This was the happiest she had been in a long time. She didn't know what was next but she had started thinking about her next move with Possum. She had gotten used to waking up with him, feeding his little brother and having him talk her ear off about extraterrestrials while they ate dinner.
She had let him drive her car to work and he kissed her before parking the car and getting out to explore the outlet stores. She wasn't sure what he had to shop for but she noticed him the first time he went back to the car to drop some things off and scurry off.
About an hour before closing, he had plopped down at the countertop with an exhausted smile on his face.
"I have everything we need for a nice, romantic dinner tomorrow night. Tonight, we're doing leftovers and slow fucking until we fall asleep." He said pushing his hair out of his face.
"Oh you've got it all planned out do ya?" Y/n teased. He leaned over the counter and she met him halfway with a kiss.
"Do you need any help cleaning up or-" Possum was cut off by a group of what looked like college fratboys shoving his shoulder.
"Hey it's the raccoon man!" One of them said as Possum turned his head slowly.
"Possum..." He corrected.
"Whatever man. You ran off before we could finish our conversation." The taller one didn't seem as amused talking to Possum.
"Look man, I told you. The prices are set by the distributor, not me." Possum turned his back again and the taller one made a move to pull him out of his chair.
"That shit was not worth what we gave you and you know it." He had turned Possum around and had him by the collar of his vest.
"We're closing up here." Y/n started pulling the blinds on the diner windows and they looked at her.
"Yeah we'll be just a minute." One of them spoke up.
"The money is already gone so it's not like I can give it back to you. I'm sorry you didn't like the product but that's why this is a business. If you don't like it, I suggest going elsewhere." Possum was calm but Y/n didn't like the way they were walking up on him and getting handsy.
"I don't care how you get it back. You either give us more product or the money back." Possum let out a sigh and the guy started to drag him towards the door with the others laughing and carrying on. Y/n cocked the shotgun and made them all freeze.
"I suggest you take your hands off of him and move along, fuckbag." Y/n stood firm, aim on the tall, aggressive one.
"You wouldn't shoot us-" Before he could even finish the thought, she cocked the barrel.
"You want to test that theory?" She threatened. He released Possum and he hit the countertop.
"If we're being honest, you guys actually shorted me about $300." Possum popped out his vest trying to straighten himself out.
"Are you fucking kidding?" The tall one approached Possum again and without thinking, Y/n fired the shotgun blowing out one of the windows.
"Jesus fucking Christ! ALRIGHT!" The guy threw the cash at Possum.
"Fucking hick towns." The group of guys ran out of the diner and threw whatever liquids they had in their douchey jeep at the front door. Possum was standing bewildered at the counter and looked over to Y/n.
"Well I guess that was my notice..." Y/n went to put the gun down and opened the register.
"I will leave the owner a note and take what he owes from my last check...he can replace the windo-" Y/n was in the middle of writing a note when Possum grabbed her shoulder and spun her around.
"Possum wh-" He ripped the front of her uniform open and kissed her hard. She could taste blood on her lip from the impact. She could also feel how insanely hard he was.
"No one has ever tried to protect me before." Possum breathed heavily as he tried to unbutton his pants. Y/n felt how frantic his energy was. He spun her around to grab the counter top so he could bend her over the counter.
"P-Possum...the windows." Y/n felt his cock graze the back of her thigh.
"Is this your last night working here?" He asked out of breath. She looked over her shoulder at him and bit her lip.
"I guess so." She smile feeling him push inside of her. He was fucking her so roughly, he tits bounced on the countertop as she held on. He was moaning loudly and cursing out-loud as he fucked her hard and fast. There was maybe one car that pulled into the lot and noticed them before pulling out and driving away.
"You're my girl. All mine." Possum gritted out cumming inside of her, still popping his hips against her ass to milk his orgasm completely out of him. Y/n laughed and looked back at Possum who had such a lust in his eyes that she knew this isn't just some sort of near-death fuck. This was the beginning of a beautiful relationship.
The Pollywog
previous part
It was the day after Halloween, and you woke up with a raging headache that made your head feel like it was going to explode any second. Your body was buzzing from the alcohol still in your system and every movement made you feel sick to your stomach. Slowly rolling onto your back, you let out a loud groan at how awful that slight movement felt. Hearing a soft laugh to your right, you opened your eyes slightly to see a blurry version of Eddie standing next to the bed.
“Good afternoon, sleepy.” Eddie mocked, sitting on the edge of the bed next to you. “I have some Advil and water for you, but you have to sit up to take it.”
You groaned, closing your eyes again, and let out a quiet whine, “No.”
“Come on, I’ll help you.” Eddie set the stuff in his hands on the bedside table. He puts his hands under your armpits to help you sit up, and by help, he means do all the work while you just moan and groan. “Alright, do you need help with the water?”
“Yeah, I don’t want to open my eyes yet.”
“Okay.” Eddie chuckled thinking his girlfriend, while being a bit dramatic, was very cute. “Ready?” You only gave a short nod to the question. Eddie grabbed the glass of water and pill, helping you take a sip of water before putting the pill in your mouth; a method you swear makes taking pills way easier. Once you swallowed the pill, Eddie handed you the glass to drink the rest of the water. “I have a big breakfast ready for you.”
You handed the empty glass back to Eddie before falling forward and leaning on his chest. “Thank you, you’re the best.”
“Only for you,” Eddie said softly, then stood back up, almost making you fall all the way forward. “Now come on, let's go eat and try to sober you up more.”
“Can you carry me?” You looked up at Eddie with your bottom lip jutted out.
Eddie leaned down and wrapped your arms around his neck then lifted you off the bed and you wrapped your legs around his waist. “You’re lucky I love you.”
“I am.” You pulled back enough to let Eddie see your goofy smile. “We’re not going to school today, right?”
“Baby, you pretty much slept through school.”
“Good.”
—----------------
After eating and taking a shower, you started to feel good enough to have an eventful day with Eddie. They planned to go to the music store and buy some new cassettes and see the new slasher movie, Nightmare on Elm Street. The couple was happy that they were able to spend more time with each other this year with you taking a break from theater and Eddie once again dungeon master he gets to choose the schedule. While you love theater and love being on stage, you needed a break this year. After everything that happened last year and not being able to play your lead role in the musical because of your head injury, you were a bit nervous getting back into it. Even though you were a bit sad without theater, you were happy to see Eddie more. You could tell Eddie was still questionable about what went down last year, so you were hoping all this time you were spending together could take his mind off of it.
“Alright, ready?” Eddie asked you, who nodded in reply. The two of you walked out to Eddie’s car, Eddie opened the passenger side door for you then walked over to the driver’s side and got in.
“Got anything specific you’re wanting at the music store?” You asked as they drove to the music store.
“Yeah, Dio and Metallica came out with new music in July, and after the amount of money I made last night I can afford them. What about you?”
 “Well, at the party last night I saw a girl dressed up as Siouxsie Sioux and now I want to buy one of her cassettes, but also The Talking Heads came out with an album in September and I kind of want that too.” You pondered your choices, deciding that you’ll probably end up buying both.
Eddie’s eyes widen in realization, looking back and forth between the road and you. “I saw her last night, I sold her some weed.”
“She looked so cool!” You exclaimed, jumping a little in your seat. “Made me wish we went as rock stars.”
“You didn’t like our costumes?” Eddie gave you an exaggerated pout.
“I loved our costumes.” You put your hand on Eddie’s arm in reassurance. “Our costumes were bitchin’.”
“They were, weren’t they? We’ll go as rockstars next year.”
You looked over with a big smile, loving that he was thinking about you being together in the future. It still made you happy even after two years of being together. “We’ll definitely have to do it next year.”
Eddie and you made it to the music store and were currently searching for the cassettes you wanted in separate aisles. Once Eddie found the two he was looking for, he walked over to where you were searching through the T’s in the Rock section. Coming up behind you, he took the cassette you already had in your hands so you would have an easier time searching with two hands instead of one. Mumbling thanks, you continued to look for The Talking Heads cassette and grabbed one when you found it. You turned around to face Eddie, waving the cassette around excitedly. Eddie snatched the cassette out of your hand and waved it around mockingly before putting it in the pile with the rest of the cassettes they acquired. You thought he was just being nice carrying them for you, but once you got up to the cash register, Eddie pushed them toward the cashier together instead of in separate piles.
“What are you doing?” You reached out to separate your cassettes from his. “I’m going to pay for my own.”
Eddie pushed your hands back. “Don’t worry, I made a lot of money last night. I’ve got this.”
“I’ve got my… own money though.” You hesitated to say that the money was yours since it was really your parents. You knew you were privileged, you had money and Eddie didn’t. You didn’t want to make him feel bad, but you didn’t want him to spend too much money on him; especially since that money is supposed to help Wayne too.
“It’s alright, babe, let me do this.” You could see the tiniest bit of pleading peaking in Eddie’s eyes, so you just gave him a big smile, that you tried to get to reach your eyes, and nodded.
With the cassettes paid for, the two got back in Eddie’s van. Eddie handed the bag of cassettes for you to get the music going while he started the car and drove them to the movies.
“What should we listen to first?” You asked, looking into the bag.
“Umm, Dio?’ Eddie suggested
You took the Dio cassette and put it in the car’s player. You looked at the name of the songs then turned it over to look at the cover. “I should change the Dio picture on that jean vest to this one.”
“Can you do that?”
Looking at the picture again more closely this time, “Yeah I think I could do it.” You weren’t too bad at art, you weren’t the most perfect but you could manage.
“That’d be awesome, and like every time they have a new album you could paint the new one.” Eddie thought aloud, once again giving you butterflies at the thought of you together in the future.
—----------------
After the movie, Eddie dropped you off at home so you could check in with your mom and have dinner with her.
You were upstairs getting changed into comfier clothes, your mom yelled for you downstairs, “Y/N, Jonathan, and Nancy are here. Said you guys are supposed to work on a project?”
At those words, you stumbled down the stairs in a panic, not because you thought you had forgotten about a project but because you knew what that lie meant last time. Pam looked back at her daughter thumping down the stairs wondering what the hell was wrong with you.
“Uh, hey guys, I completely forgot that you were coming over.” You stuttered once you made it to the front door. “Why don’t we go up to my room to, um, work on the project.”
The three quickly walked up to your room, slamming the door behind them. Jonathan and Nancy sat on the end of your bed while you paced in front of them as you listened to their awful and quite dangerous idea.
“Alright, alright.” You waved your hands in front of your face, dramatically, to get them to stop talking. “So let me get this straight, you two called Barbara’s mom, who you know is being recorded, to meet in the park so you can tell her what happened,” You paused, waiting for them to confirm what you just said and when they did you continued, “Okay, but you don’t expect Mrs. Holland to show up. This is a whole ploy to lure the bad people so you can record their confession of their inclusion in Barbara's death.”
“So are you in?” Nancy asked, believing you were repeating everything to make sure you had all the facts right before going along with it.
“Are you insane?!” You were not repeating to make sure you understood it, you were repeating it to try and get them to see how dumb this was. “This is a bad idea! It’s very risky, and quite frankly, stupid of you to want to do this.”
You paused, taking a breath to calm yourself down before continuing, “Listen, Nancy, I’m sorry. I’m very sorry for what happened to Barb and now what’s happening to her parents, but we can’t be putting ourselves in this type of danger again.”
“Well, we’re doing this with or without you.” Nancy stood her ground, needing to do this for Barb and herself. You understood that, you just didn’t think this was a good idea and to be honest you’re still scared from everything they went through.
“I know.” You hugged them one at a time. “Just please be safe. If it gets too dangerous, get out of there.”
“We will,” Jonathan said as you hugged.
You walked them to the front door, watching as they left. Pam came over to stand next to her daughter, curious as to what just happened. “That was fast.”
“Yeah, it was pretty much finished, just had to finalize it.”
Pam looked at her daughter, seeing the distressed look on your face. “You alright, honey?”
“Can we order pizza and watch a movie?” You asked, leaning your head on your mom’s shoulder.
“Didn’t you already watch a movie today?” You pulled your head up to look at Pam with a shocked look wondering how she knew that. “You think I don’t know you skipped school?”
You cringed from getting caught, “Sorry, mom.”
“It’s alright, let me go order the pizza.”
(A little prompt idea and I got some help from @sarahmadisonxoxo ! Also I’ll write the other prompts when I have time!)
-
It was only a matter of time before the party decided that they were going to go on a Disneyland trip, it just made sense that eventually they’d do a huge group trip like this and it’s safe to say that they were all excited. The adults, the older teens, and the younger teens came together for this trip. Saving up everything they had to make it possible and a fun experience. All of them drove in separate cars to get everyone in one pace at the same time and once they did that’s when the shenanigans began. The adults parted ways and went ahead to get some drinks for themselves leaving majority of the kids together. Jonathan, Nancy and Argyle were walking around with Mike, Will, and Lucas exploring the different rides that seemed like the craziest ones. Robin and Vickie took Eleven and Max to the nearest store to do some shopping. They looked at all the cute Disney headbands and figurines that were just too adorable to not buy. Robin bought some Mickey ears for the girls, herself, and Vickie. She smirked to herself when she saw a pair of ears that had a rainbow on it and she thought they would fit Steve perfectly, she also thought it would be funnier to give them to him without telling him what they meant.
After their shopping trip they met up with group in passing. They bumped into Steve and Dustin who were jumping all over the place with excitement. So far they’ve been getting on several rides, eating loads of snacks, and running around like little kids. The girls laughed at how all over the place they were, their sugar rushes being more apparent as the day went on.
“You two look like idiots.” Max joked. The girls laughed at the goofy grins on their faces as they rolled their eyes.
“Sadly that’s not a new discovery.” Robin sighed as she put her hand in her hip. She figured since Steve was older he would at least consider acting like an adult once just for today.
“You’re just jealous because we finished ten churros in one sitting!” Dustin bragged he turned to Steve and gave him a high five. The girls weren’t impressed in the slightest but they couldn’t help but smile at the silliness in front of them.
“You really ate ten churros?” Eleven asked still skeptical of the amount that Dustin had told them. Both of them nodded their head.
“Ten.” Steve repeated with a wide smile feeling proud. All of them laughed in unison at the situation. As crazy as it sounded all of them knew that this wasn’t too far fetched for the crazy duo to do.
“I mean that sounds fun but don’t you think that’s a little pricey.” Vickie questioned while directing it mostly towards Steve. He only shrugged in response.
“Nothing is pricey when you’re having fun.” Steve said happily and patted Dustin’s shoulder. The girls smiled at the cute moment between them. It was truly amazing to see their friendship going strong after so many years. Robin took a quick look at her watch and it was getting close to the time that they all agreed on to meet back at the car.
“Alright, it’s getting close to the time that we promised Hopper to meet back up. We’re going to wander a little bit more before then, make sure to be back on time.” Robin warned Steve as she longed her finger at him.
“Sure thing.” Steve nodded his head and both parties parted ways. Before they could get far Robin grabbed his arm stopping him in his tracks. Steve looked at her with confusion.
“I almost forgot,” She took the Mickey ears she bought before and put them on Steve’s head. The rainbow bow sparkled in the sunlight because of the glitter, as silly as Steve looked with them on no one could deny how cute he looked in them especially with his confused expression. Robin laughed when she took a step back to look at Steve’s new look. “Sweet, they suit you.” She teased before walking away.
“That was weird.” Steve mumbled to himself, he never really understood anything Robin did but that worked because she could say the same for him. Despite being confused he kept the ears on, hey he might as well embrace them.
Him and Dustin continued to explore the park a little more before it was time for them to leave. After a few minutes of just walking around and nothing was really jumping out to them. Dustin’s eyes widen when he saw a short line for a roller coaster ride, with a wide grin he turned to Steve and pointed at the ride.
“Let’s get on that one!” Dustin yelled before he started running toward the ride. Steve didn’t expect to blink and see Dustin already ahead of him. He shook his head then took off running right after him.
Dustin was running so fast that he couldn’t even hear Steve calling out for him to slow down. In a flash Dustin was colliding with another person making both of them hit the ground hard. Steve witnessed the entire thing and his face started to heat up from embarrassment. Once he made it to both of them he took in the entire sight, laying beside Dustin was a guy in a Captain Hook costume and his curly hair was sprawled hot while he laid on the ground groaning. Steve felt obligated to reach his hand out and help him up since he already made the guy’s day a mess. As he reached his hand out Dustin reached for it at the same time, with a quick swat Steve moved his hand away.
“Not for you I told you to slow down. I’m so sorry about that.” Steve said when he turned his attention towards the man. He hesitated at first as he looked at Steve then his hand before taking it and lifting himself up. He stood up to dust his clothes off, the look of embarrassment and anger was in his as he looked around to see if anybody saw. Confirming that no one did he looked directly at Dustin and Steve with an intense gaze.
“There’s no running allowed around the park. Someone can get seriously hurt like that and I advise you to take note of that rule.” The man was direct and focused mostly on Steve when he said it.
“It won’t happen again I promise.” Steve said softly. He slapped Dustin’s shoulder hard earning an “ow” from him and that made the man laugh slightly. “Are you sure you’re ok? You don’t need to see anyone right?”
“Ah don’t worry about it man, I’ve had my fair share of bruises so that was nothing really.” He playfully dusted off his shoulder as if to say he was perfectly untouched. Both of them laughed at the joke while Dustin stood there awkwardly wanting this to end before the line started to get long.
“Still I’m genuinely sorry… Eddie?” Steve said unsure as he read Eddie’s name tag. Eddie chuckled then nodded his head.
“Like I said before I told you you’re good man stop stressing over it. It’s just another day on the job for me.” Eddie reassured Steve with a smile. Both of them blushed as they stood in silence looking at each other and trying to avoid eye contact. Eddie was the one to speak up again after a few seconds. “Nice ears.”
“Oh! Well thanks. My friend put these on me and I think I look kind of dumb with them.” Steve touched the Mickey ears on his head almost forgetting that they were there. Eddie immediately noticed the rainbow on them and felt a little bit bold, those were the pride ears that they were starting to sell. He genuinely liked them and so many people were able to express themselves at the park. Which lead Eddie to believe that Steve was doing the same thing, Eddie took a chance once he saw it presented to him.
“You don’t look dumb with them on in the slightest if anything they add to your cuteness in my opinion.” Eddie said casually. Steve’s face turned into a darker shade of red at the unexpected compliment from Eddie. Dustin rubbed his forehead as he listens to the entire thing.
“Think so? You don’t think they’ll scare anybody away.” Steve said jokingly. Eddie shook his head as he smiled.
“I’m still standing here aren’t I?” Eddie’s voice lowered a bit as he asked the question. Steve had to fight the urge to look away and blush like an idiot. The attention Eddie was giving was coming at him so fast that he didn’t know how to react.
“I’ve heard enough can we get on the ride now?” Dustin said annoyed with the both of them. That made Steve blush harder sone he realized Dustin heard everything. Eddie scratched the back of his neck feeling slightly embarrassed.
“Right. I should let you two be in your way, I’ll be right here all day if you guys need anything.” Eddie smiled at the both of them. He hated that he couldn’t give his phone number to Steve due to policy but he hoped Steve took the hint.
“Sure thing.” Steve smiled back before him and Dustin started to walk away. They got a few steps away from Eddie when the conversation about what just happened was brought up.
“God you two were gross back there.” Dustin fake gagged while holding his stomach. Steve raised a brow not understanding what he meant.
“What are you talking about?” Steve asked. He had no idea what Dustin was going on about.
“Come on Steve, it was obvious he was hitting on you.” Dustin explained. Steve blushed when he thought back on the previous conversation and it did seem like that was the case. He shook his head trying to get rid of those thoughts.
“I highly doubt that besides why would he?” Steve couldn’t grasp all of this at once because nothing was making sense. Dustin rolled his eye and eventually they were going to get stuck one day.
“You’re literally wearing the pride Mickey Mouse ears.” Dustin points at the ears on top of Steve’s head, the rainbow boy still sparkling from the sunlight shining on them. Steve’s fell open in shock.
“Robin!” Steve whisper yelled. Dustin started to laugh at Steve’s scrunched you face. They both made it to the ride and luckily the line wasn’t too long so they could easily slip onto the ride. Steve took a quick glance behind him and saw Eddie in the distance talking to a little boy and waving his plastic hook in the kids face making him laugh. The interaction made Steve smile immediately because it was the cutest thing. He got on the ride feeling giddy about talking to Eddie and he couldn’t deny that he was kind of interested even though he would yell at Robin later for it, he’d also thank her as well.
