Good ole cry
Came home after school to have a good ole cry. Baby boy went to school okay today. Still 3-4 kids crying at drop off but I figure that's probably pretty normal with 15x 3yos. When we asked the teacher how yesterday went she said he "requires a lot of redirection. He was also eating paper and books." She said the second line as if he was eating his own poop or something else super terrible. Or maybe I'm sensitive and that's just how I heard it. The teacher comes off as very stoic. He doesn't eat paper at home but I'm also not shocked. For me, its odd and not a normal thing for a 3yo but also not that terrible. He does chew on things constantly. Specifically he bites down hard on his blanket or stuffed animal to help himself fall asleep. He doesn't tear books regularly. However, the two times we let him take a book into his bed after we left he tore them both apart. I'm assuming in this new environment he's pretty unregulated all day and looking for sensory outlets.
Emailed the special ed consultant lady to see if we could get a paid consult sooner rather then later. I already assumed he wouldn't be okay in this setting without additional aids/support so I'm not sure why I'm having such a hard time now that its coming true. He is so well loved at daycare even though they know he's high maintenance. Despite his challenges he's a cute/charming kid. So I was hoping his new teacher would see his good side. With our limited interactions I'm not getting that vibe. I also really wish he had one of the 4K teachers. We know them well and they have all worked with 4yos for years - so I would at least have a little insight to what's really out of control and what's normal for a high maintenance kid. This women has 18yo experience but none with 3yo's. That's also the expertise we are missing at daycare. They are these sweet grandmas that love him as if he was their grandkid - so its hard to get an unbiased opinion from them.
I also get the vibe they are copy/pasting the four year old schedule/routine for the three year olds. Which seems like a bad idea. There are some kids in the class who are clearly doing fine. My girls would have been totally fine but I don't think it will work for everyone.
It seems counterintuitive but I think having a job could be helpful for my mental health. I think rather then coming home to stew/worry it would have been better to go do something else. I know I have to wait this out, see what the assessments say, see what services are provided and then make a decision. We can put him back in daycare for another year - which he would like. We aren't without options. It will all be fine. Baby boy's fine. He's not bothered at all with the redirection. He won't notice if his teacher likes him or not.
Anyway I'm going to pick up his pumpkin library books today so we can read all of them tonight. It will make his night.

The super cute art for this story is from @srah-the-violist!
It May Be Winter Outside (But in My Heart It's Spring)
"Zelda! Princess Zelda!" Steps nearly too big for Link’s short legs carried him through the corridor toward Princess Zelda's room, Impa following with equally wide strides. Bright, almost white, light filtered through the narrow windows of the castle, highlighting them like a flipbook.
With a final leap, Link reached the door and slammed two small fists against the wood. "Zeeeelda!"
Chuckling, Impa caught up and opened the door for him. He burst inside, reinforcing his calls with his cupped hands. On his way up the stairs, Impa grabbed him by the collar and put him down next to her. With a pout, he met her red eyes.
"We respect our princess' modesty. You're not allowed in her bedroom. Nobody apart from the maids and I have permission to enter her personal chambers."
Link's eyes grew and grew. "But I was already—"
"Shhh," she hushed him.
"But, Impa, I climb up to her to read books at night, the vines are no prob—"
A calloused, gentle thumb swept over his lips. "Nobody apart from me and the maids are ever in her bedroom, understood?"
Rummaging sounds came from above, followed by Zelda shouting, "I'm coming!"
Impa turned her attention back to Link. He bristled, hopping from one foot to the other, getting on his tiptoes, and pulling at her arm. "But the other day the tutors told me I mustn't tell lies!"
Impa sighed and patted the soft fabric of his hat. The kid swung a sword more proficiently than most soldiers, but couldn’t get behind the concept of keeping quiet. "It's not a lie, okay? Just a secret between me, you, and Princess Zelda."
"What about me?" Zelda rushed down the marble stairs leading to her bedroom, the sash of her dress and the accompanying belt whirling behind her. She hadn’t even taken the time to close it.
Immediately, Link had forgotten about his little moral conflict. He grabbed Zelda by the shoulders, shaking her small frame, shouting, “EVERYTHING IS WHITE! EVERYTHING IS WHITE OUTSIDE! AND THAT IS BECAUSE OF…!” He gasped for air, yelling a last time, "SNOW!"
"Oooooh! Marvelous!" Zelda grabbed his shoulders as well and they spun around like a merry-go-round. Once, twice, round and round it went, and she shouted, "Marvelous!", and he shouted, "Snow!"
Out of breath and dizzy, they broke apart.
"Oooh," Zelda said and deflated, her gaze jumping to Impa who observed the two with crossed arms and an amused look. "We have lessons today, right? Does that mean we can't go out?"
"Of course, you doofus! That's why Impa let me come here!" Link exclaimed, adjusting his hat.
"Link, we don't call the princess 'doofus'." Impa scolded and lifted his chin with her index.
Another pout found its way onto his face. "But she calls me doofus, too!"
"It's okay," Zelda said. "I don't mind."
Impa sighed quietly. "No, it's not okay, unfortunately. Well, it would be best if you both just stop. That way it's easier for the two of you. Deal?"
The two kids rolled their eyes but nodded.
"Fine. Your tutor is from Castle Town, I don't expect him to be here before midday. So, Link is right, we came here to fetch you. But!" She bent down at eye level and motioned them closer. "If the King or one of the other tutors catch us, we'll be in trouble. So, who can be sneaky like a Sheikah?"
"Me, me!" They jumped up and down, stretching their arms in the air.
"Okay." Impa laughed. "But not like this. You're alerting the whole castle."
Hands flew to mouths, stifling every noise that threatened to creep out.
A wild ruffling of coats and boots and scarves later, the three left the room. Zelda and Link trailed behind Impa, tiptoeing with their winter boots through the corridors in the direction of the gardens. Most courtiers passed them with a low bow toward Princess Zelda and eyebrows raised in amusement.
They passed the library, separated from the corridor only through colorful glass panels. Impa went ahead. Again and again, she flicked her wrist, a gesture hardly detectable under her wide winter cloak, and they sprinted toward the next column, pressing themselves into the shadow behind. Snippets of a conversation rang through the glass — their other tutors, no doubt. The distance between the last pillar and the safe corner was the biggest, unfortunately. Impa waved, and they darted toward her, only to be met with someone rounding the corner.
"Lady Impa! Good morning. I hope to find you well despite the unruly weather?"
Link and Zelda changed an alarmed look, ducking behind her back. Another tutor!
Impa laughed like adults do when something is wrong, slightly too loud and with exaggerated gestures. She put her hand on the arm of the confused teacher, turning him toward the entrance of the library. Link and Zelda shifted behind her back, mirroring her motion as if they were tied together by invisible strings.
"Oh, I've been fine, thank you. It's my day off, but I still plan to check the gardens for damage from the snow." She opened the buttons of her cloak so that it fell open, giving the two children behind her better cover.
"Ah, how unfortunate. Not that it's your free day, of course, but I hoped you could tell me where to find Princess Zelda and Link. Owlan won't make it here until noon thanks to the snow and I thought we could just swap our lessons so that they don't miss anything. I'll try Link's room next."
"Of course." Impa kept the parting words short, biting the lie that waited on her tongue back. Not in front of the kids. They turned, but didn't make it far.
"Oh, and Lady Impa?"
"Hm?" A jerk at the coat flipped one side up, hiding Zelda and Link just in time.
"Your cloak suits you well. So mystic with the red Sheikah Eye on the back."
"Thank you, thank you. I will give regards to the seamstress. But now I have to go. Until then!"
Finally around the corner, all three of them pressed their hands to their open mouths, exchanging wide-eyed looks. Impa was the first to recover and ushered them out of the dangerous zone. A staircase and two other corridors followed, but the hallways close to the gardens were traditionally less busy in winter.
Outside, Zelda burst. "Impa! How did he not see us?! You were incredible!"
"Yeah, and I think you lied, too, didn't you?" Link crossed his arms in front of his chest. "I mean, maybe not a lie, but you didn't tell him that we were right there."
Impa bopped his nose. "No, I didn't tell him. You have years of lessons to come, one missed morning won't affect your education. And…" She grabbed two fistfuls of snow from the hedge behind her back and dropped them on their heads. Sputtering, they cleaned themselves. "We are learning today. Just not what your tutors have scheduled."
"And what would that be?" Zelda asked, pulling the winter version of her headpiece deeper.
Impa grinned wickedly, forming another snowball behind her back. It was a rather poor thing, quickly squashed together with one hand, but it had to do. "What we'll learn today? How fast you two can run, of course!"
Zelda shrieked, diving behind the next bush, but Impa had planned to take Link by surprise all along.
Link, however, despite his young age and small frame, was a skilled warrior. He wasn't fooled twice and had his own snowball ready that he threw at Impa.
It wasn't long before Link and Zelda had teamed up, using the maze as cover. Their small height gave them an advantage in defense that Impa couldn't quite compensate for in strength. Zelda's aim was also terribly true and she managed to get a lot of hits on her.
"Ok, ok, you won!" Impa raised her hands. The giggles behind the bush only increased and pushing all her warrior instincts down, she approached them.
"Haha!" A big load of snow rushed down Impa's body, coloring her silver-blue cloak white and seeping into the thin fabric of her armor underneath. Oh, she should have remembered buttoning it up again!
The two little minxes came out from behind the hedge, shaking Link's coat free from snow. They had used it as some kind of catapult.
"Well played." Impa grinned. Armor that was a little damp wouldn't kill her. "Ok, now we'll take a little break. Who knows how to make a snow fairy?"
"A snow fairy?" A pair of big round eyes looked at her. "I've seen a lot of fairies in Termina, small and big, but no snow fairy."
"In Hyrule, there are no snow fairies either!" Zelda pushed herself to her full height (which happened to be a few inches higher than Link's).
"You can't see them because you have to make them first," Impa said mysteriously, laughing, and guided them to a spot that was used as a patio if not snowed in.
"Oh, look! It's completely untouched! How beautifully the snow glitters! No, don't you dare, Link!" Zelda snatched Link's sleeve and pulled him back, his feet close to disturb the perfect blanket of snow. "Doof—" She cut herself off, receiving a wink from Impa as a reward.
"We're making the snow fairies here. Look."
Impa turned around, her rear end nearing the snow, much to the children's amusement. She flashed them a grin, opened her arms wide, and dropped back into the white mass. The powdery snow fell onto her head and her shoulders, but she wasn't bothered in the slightest. Her arms went up and down, up and down, pushing the snow aside.
"That looks like fun, but where's the fairy?" Link hissed to Zelda out of the corner of his mouth.
Impa stretched her hand out so that Zelda could help her up. "Here's the fairy."
"Whe—oh! You're right! A fairy with wings!" Zelda hopped from one foot to the other. "I want to make one, too!"
"Of course. Let me help you so that you disturb the snow as little as possible."
They shifted around and first Zelda and then Link made a smaller snow fairy next to Impa's.
"They… they look a bit like…" Link stared at the ensemble, eyes distant and shoulders slack. Impa crouched down to him, wrapping her arm around his slim shoulders that had carried too much weight too early. "Like what?" She inquired softly.
"Like the big fairy who gave me the pink sword after I helped her find the stray fairies." He swallowed and Impa tugged him under her chin.
"Termina?" Zelda mouthed and Impa nodded, stroking his back. Link sniffed and snuggled into her damp coat, taking a moment to fight off the demons that the memories of his quest brought him. Zelda eyed them uncertainly, but then, she joined them and hugged him from behind, leaning her head against his back.
"I hear someone," Impa murmured and ushered them to stand up again. "Oh, it's your father, Zelda, the King," she hissed through her teeth. "Link, come here, kneel beside me, and keep your voice down."
The snow crunched under the heavy steps of the King and his guards. Link did as told and kept his eyes down. He was happy to have Impa by his side; he had gotten in trouble for not following protocol quite a few times since he moved to the castle. The rules were just so confusing!
"Lady Impa. I must say it surprises me to see you and my daughter here. I believed her to be studying with her tutors."
"We are studying, Your Majesty. I taught the children defense strategies in difficult terrain. In combat, it is necessary to take advantage of the environment to save precious resources." She tapped Link's shoulder. "Link. Show His Majesty what we trained. Get a hit on one of his guardsmen without anyone discovering you."
Now that was something Link didn't need to hear twice. Swift like a weasel, he disappeared into the heck maze, making little to no noise in the snow.
The guards, half amused, half prideful, looked around, but Link was nowhere to be seen. The King frowned, but then his face lit up and he took a few steps backward. He winked at Zelda. "I trust your friend's aim, but better be sure."
"Oh, don't you worry, father. Link is more skilled than he lets on."
Link grinned on his way up to the rose arch spanning the entrance of the patio, taking the conversation as a welcomed distraction from the snow drizzling from the metal. The guards' eyes still roamed the heck maze — it was nearly too easy.
Splash, splash!
Two snowballs hit the guards directly on the chest. They swiveled around, spurred on by the King's laughter.
"There! On the rose arch, you two airheads! Oh, this is too good." The King pointed at Link's position high up in the air, holding his belly with the other hand. Link allowed himself a grin and bowed his head.
The guards bashfully shook the snow from their uniforms, murmuring apologies to their sovereign.
"Come down, Link. It's time for your lessons anyway now. You did well." Impa turned to Zelda and stroked over her headpiece. "You, too, Zelda."
The two kids gathered around Impa again and she sent them off to change into something dry.
The King watched them leaving, stroking his beard. "Did you find something out about the boy's origins, Lady Impa?"
Impa picked up his pace, the guards trailing behind. "I did. It seems that his parents are of old nobility but died in the civil war. His mother brought him to Kokiri Forest so that the spirits there would watch over him."
"What an odd choice." The King frowned. Impa cast her eyes down to the snow-covered path, not willing to let him doubt her loyalty. War leads to many choices that seemed unthinkable only moments ago.
"Anyway," he continued. "I heard he's extraordinarily talented with the sword. What about his devotion to the Kingdom? Towards Zelda especially?"
Impa's face relaxed at the last addition. "He would lie his life down for her without hesitation. Even at this young age."
"Hm…" the King stroked his beard again. "I know they are still quite young, but Zelda needs an appointed knight one day. Do you think you could guide him toward that task? I like how quick-witted he is and it would do Zelda good to have a friend at her side in all this."
"That is an excellent proposition. I do not doubt that he'll be fit for the task and I think Her Highness would be delighted if she knew of your plans."
Inside, they climbed the stairs leading back to the more lively areas of the castle. Their ways parted at a balcony overlooking the gardens they had just left. Impa bowed again and the King went off to tend to his royal duties. Impa would shortly tend to Zelda again, just to make sure that she didn't miss the start of her lessons.
Down in the garden, three figures peacefully glittered in the snow, one big fairy and two smaller ones. She would get a harsh scolding from the tutors later, there was no way they wouldn't find her out.
A well-educated Princess grows into a wise Queen they say. Hyrule had seen war not too long ago and at hair's breadth, a second time. Hopes that Zelda would lead them into an era of peace and stability were high. The tutors' efforts to teach her the subtleties of politics, economy, and even natural sciences offered no break.
What they all forgot, however, was that even a princess, no matter how duty-bound and wise, needed moments worth fighting for.

i’m back with another one
we all know mitsuri is super strong and super sweet and super perfect right
i’ve got major brain rot rn for college athlete!mitsuri who is head over heels for the studious academia nerd in her general chem class
like imagine this poor girl getting thwarted every time she tries to confess by either her friends or teammates dragging her away, the professor calling her to review her last test, or you realizing ur about to be late for ur next class
im losing it over the image of mitsuri trying over and over again to confess before she finally decides to just ditch practice and corner you in the library after your last class, getting shushed by the librarian several times with how excited she is to finally ask out her crush💀💀
This is so cute wtf. Sorry this took so long
Warnings: None
Genre: Headcanon
Characters: Kanroji Mitsuri
Mitsuri’s face after trying to confess for the 100th time
Tumblr media
• Mitsuri first noticed you when she had to sit next to you in class since there were no other seats
• She couldn’t focus on what the teacher was saying since you looked so pretty
• And when you noticed her staring she thought you would get mad but instead you asked her if you had something on your face or if she was ok
• Since then Mitsuri had become interested in you
• She would notice little things like how you only used black ink pens or how you could easily space out and the fact you were such a chemistry nerd was honestly adorable
• When Mitsuri found out she was crushing on you was when the both of you were working on a pair assignment in your shared chemistry class
• Due to this class only being necessary as Mitsuri had a sports scholarship she wasn’t the best at it but she didn’t want to lump all the work on you
• So that’s why you two were in the school library doing the assignment that was until Mitsuri didn’t understand a certain part and asked for your help
• You then proceeded to explain the topic in excruciating detail while using your hands a lot during the explanation
• The way your face lit up with passion Mitsuri was thankful she was sitting cuz her knees went weak
• From then on she knew she was in love and she fell hard and fast
• She would always try and hang out with you after school if she wasn’t busy with her sports club (she is a gymnast who is going to nationals I make the rules here)
• Now with Mitsuri trying to ask you out was not an easy task
• With classes and assignments as well as trying to keep her sports scholarship girl was already stretched pretty thin
• So whenever she gets the chance she always tries to partner up with you for assignments, it’s literally the only time she can hang out with you
• But Mitsuri was getting pretty annoyed with how little she can spend time with you
• So she decided that today was the day she would confess!
Mitsuri quickly walked down the busy halls as she made her way to the library. She was 100% sure you would be there since whenever she had a rare moment to herself to hangout with you it was almost always the library, unless she had invited you to the café close by. Opening the library doors Mitsuri caught her breath while looking around for you. She instantly lit up once she found your figure looking through a book in one of the empty isles. Without thinking Mitsuri called out to you loudly making you and everyone else look towards her, the librarian told her to be quite as Mitsuri blushed madly out of embarrassment.
Quickly Mitsuri walked up to you, you were kind of surprised to see her here ‘Mitsuri is everything ok? You usually have practice at this time’ you spoke closing the book you were skimming over to give her your full attention. You watched as she took deep breaths before she looked at you with a determined look.
‘I’m skipping practice! I-I have something really important to ask you’ she exclaimed as her cheeks were a rosy pink, you were pretty shock by this since she almost never missed practice ‘Y-You see! Ever since we met!-‘ Mitsuri began but was shushed by the librarian due to her voice getting louder and louder because of her excitement and nerves ‘Ah! Sorry! I wanted to tell you that I really really like!-‘ once again Mitsuri was shushed and you could tell she was extremely embarrassed with how her face had become completely red. She then covered her face with her hands and began to mutter in a muffled voice.
‘Hey, Mitsuri let’s leave I know a more empty place we can talk’ you spoke getting the flustered girls’ attention as she watched you put the book you were looking at back in its place ‘Aren’t you going to check that out’ Mitsuri muttered out removing her hands from her face ‘I can do that later. I care more about you than some stupid book’ you said grabbing Mitsuri’s hand as you walked at a steady pace. The green and pink haired girl didn’t know what to say, she definitely saw that the book you were looking at was about chemistry which was basically your life passion. The fact you cared more about her feelings and comfort over that had her heart fluttering as she focused on you holding hands.
Eventually the both of you arrived at a vending machine near the back of the university. You bought Mitsuri a water and waited until she was ready to talk ‘Y/N. Ever since we’ve met my heart has been acting crazy whenever I’m around you, and I can’t take being so occupied that I never get to spend time with you. So please go out with me!’ Mitsuri confessed as she felt a big weight had been lifted as she finally managed to ask you out. You smiled at her heartfelt confession as a blush of your own spread across your cheeks.
‘Well. I don’t have any classes today and since your skipping practice let’s go on a date right now’ you suggested as Mitsuri’s face lit up with her blush still visible ‘R-Really! Ahh! I can’t wait! Oh I just remembered this really good ramen restaurant I wanted to take you to!’ Mitsuri excitedly spoke as she grabbed your hand and now it was you following after her. You looked down at your hands held together and a wide grin broke across your face as you tighten your grip.

ma’am it feels like it’s been DAYS since we last heard from you!!! give us an update. did you guys kiss again? did you do the do? did you meet his parents again? are you in love? updates NOW.
greetings!!
last night was super fun. i went over to his parents’ house and helped him babysit his youngest siblings. then we went on a long night walk and laid on the trampoline for another hour or so after that. kissing happened, touching happened. i thoroughly enjoy laying on top of him
today i picked him up after a meeting i had with an old professor. we went to the public library and then the campus library bc i wanted to show him a favorite study spot of mine. afterward we went back to his parents’ place. he had a box of mugs in his truck and let me choose whatever ones i wanted to keep. i’ll post a picture tomorrow of the one i chose. it’s still in my car but super cute. then we started shooting hoops, and i impressed him lol >.< i’m proud of myself for getting in a backwards swoosh… i haven’t played basketball in years, and he’s an athletic dude so it was fun. then we went to their farmhouse and watched howl’s moving castle and the first 30ish minutes of the karate kid. tons of cuddling ensued and more kissing. he’s so pretty guys, and i feel like i’m floating… like this is the guy i grew up liking. little me would be squealing if she knew we’d end up dating.
he’s such a cool dude, so respectful. i’m starting to loosen up a bunch too and act a bit wacky. examples: i randomly did an anime run and started making weird noises… he also laughs at shit i say when i’m not even trying to be funny, and i love that. at one point he asked what i was thinking about. i said nothing and my head was completely empty, which is a big fucking deal for someone with anxiety and ocd. i’m used to constant noise. it’s crazy how calming physical contact can be. we also had some serious conversation, and i think they went well. i feel so safe and comfortable with him.

Chapter 4: Teasing my Jealous Master
Summary:
Adelia wants revenge on Laurel, and the best way to do it is by making him jealous, by flirting with her friends. A week of teasing goes by, and he finally snaps...
Notes:
In this chapter of Adelia and Laurel, is Adelia finally done with Laurel for good or will she keep coming back for more as always? Thanks for reading!
Adelia woke up the next morning more furious than ever. How dare he lie to me like that. He made me think I lost something super important to him! What a fucking jerk! I may not be very smart, but he used that against me and that is unforgivable! I ran around for a whole week trying to find it, and he was messing with me the whole time! Well, he has another thing coming to him. He started this game, and I’m going to finish it.
Adelia was determined that she was going to have her revenge, and the way to do that made him jealous! So, throughout the whole week she pretended to flirt with everyone in front of him. Now, it was easy for her, at the end of the day she really did like everyone. Boy, girl, it really didn’t matter, so this was going to be easy.
On monday during lunch she sat next to her friend Malcom, and every time he said something funny, she laughed and rested her hand on his arm. At that moment Laurel was across the room noticing it completely. She is laughing so loud. *Mocking her* Oh Malcom you are sooo funny! *Fake gags* Is she trying to make everyone notice? It’s obviously fake right? I mean she is a horrible actor. She should really get acting lessons. Her hair does look cute today though with those pink little bows all throughout her braids. Ugh whatever, let her act like a child. Laurel goes back to minding his own business, still occasionally looking up.
On Tuesday Adelia goes to the library because she knows Laurel needs to pick up a book for Defense Against the Dark Arts class for homework that was assigned today. She sees her friend Evangeline trying to study hard on one of the couches, and she runs over to sit with her. She asks to study with her and Evaneline says of course. Adelia plops down next to her and throws her legs on top of her to read a book as well. As soon as she sees Laurel come in, she moves her leg slowly up Evangeline's thigh to pretend to fix her leg position. At that moment Laurel does come in and his eyes immediately see Adelia over on the couch. Her legs exposed more from her skirt riding up a little from laying on the couch. Well, well, well, now I think you might be doing this on purpose. Trying to make me jealous now, are we? Well, you will have to do a lot better than that love. Go ahead, expose yourself more to people, see if I care. Her legs do look so soft. Oh, how I want to be buried in between those right now. Mmmm that's just what you want isn’t it Darling.
On Wednesday Adelia went to the Slytherin Common Room to go see her friend Theo for more candy since she was out. She knocked on the door and Theo answered. Adelia asked for her usual list of candy she wanted, and Theo gathered it all up for her. He brought it over to Adelia and with excitement she grabbed his arm for support to go on her tippy toes to kiss him on the cheek. At that moment Laurel saw from the common room and witnessed Adelia come to the door. She was given candy and then she kissed him. Alright, how long are you going to play this charade? God you little whore. You can’t just admit you like me. Instead, you need to seduce everyone and make me jealous….oooo the punishment I would give you right now. How dare you kiss someone in front of me like it’s not even a big deal. You press your beautiful breasts to his chest and your shirt rides up a little as you try to even reach his ugly face. Fuck!
On Thursday she is in potions class with Daisy, and she knows Laurel has the same class. She has a hard time making the class assignment potion and has Daisy help her. As a reward for Daisy helping a.k.a doing all the work she feeds Daisy candy while she is helping her. After Daisy takes the chocolate from her head, Adelia licks the melted chocolate from her fingers seductively “accidentally” making eye contact with Laurel for a moment. At that moment Laurel catches her eye as her mouth moves down her fingers and her tongue moving all around getting the chocolate off. Fuck, that should be my cock right now! Oh, Adellia you don’t know what you are getting yourself into. I dare you to keep it up.
On Friday Adelia sits with her friend Serenity at dinner. She tells her about this game where you take a piece of rope candy, and each person holds either end with their mouth and you have to race to eat more than the other. Serenity agrees since she loves candy as much as Adelia does, and the two put it in their mouth and race. In that moment Laurel immediately sees what is happening. His foot begins to tap the floor fast. This is fucking ridiculous. Oh, she wants to really play with me. She thinks she is going to win this. Ha! Ya fucking right she is. If she wants to play like this, then fine we will fucking play. I will show her who is really in charge of this! Laurel walks over to the table and slams his hand down on the table in between them startling both Serenity and Adelia. Serenity in being startled, bites down on the rope disconnecting them. “Can we talk?” Laurel says in a demanding tone. “Actually, Serenity and I we-.” Adelia says before getting cut off immediately, “I’m not asking.” Laurel says looking very impatient now. “Um , it’s okay if you go talk.” Serenity says looking at them both with concern.
Laurel grabs her by the wrist and drags her out into the hallway, not caring who is seeing this. No one was going to do anything anyways. He was a Malfoy and not many people confronted them.
“Are you done playing your little game Adelia?” Laurel says, tossing her out the door. “First, fuck you, and ow! I have dainty wrists, you know that!” Adelia says, rubbing her wrists. “Oh, I know. I know a lot about different parts of your body.” Laurel says in a seductive tone. Adelia tries not to blush. “Fuck you! You tricked me, that's the only reason you were able to.” “Weird because I didn’t make you moan or say my name. You did that all on your own.” Laurel says with a smirk. “Ughhh I hate you.” Adelia says stomping her feet while pulling out a piece of candy to calm her down. “That’s right, get all flustered because you like me. Go ahead eat a piece of candy, maybe it will calm you down.” Laurel says getting closer, only a few inches away now. “First of all, I’m eating this because I want to not because you told me to. Second, I'm done with you and I’m going back inside.” Adelia says in a stern voice still blushing and trying to get past him. Laurel grabs her by the waist before she can. “Oh no Love. You played for way too long. It's my turn now.” Before she can fight back, he grabs her and throws her over his shoulder, holding her tight so she can't get down, and began walking her away from the dining room. Adelia began hitting his back. “Put me down you dummy.” she says, but Laurel said nothing and kept carrying her.
When Laurel finally put her down, Adelia glared at him, but then smirked “Looks like I really got under your skin huh?” She teased and Laurel's eyes narrowed, “Please, don’t pretend like you didn’t miss my attention? Honestly, why can’t you just admit that you like me?” He asked in his usual attitude.
Adelia glared at him once more, this time frowned “because I don’t like you”. Laurel rolled his eyes “Right, which is why in order to get back at me you chose to make me jealous… instead of pulling a prank on me or something, be honest Adelia, you like when I give you attention” Adelia blushed “I do not!” She exclaimed and looked around “where did you take me anyway?” She asked, looking around the basement. She finally recognized it. It was under the potion's classroom… Laurel grabbed both her wrists and pinned her against the wall “Does it really matter dear? As long as I can fuck you senselessly without us getting caught” he whispered in her ear, making Adelia shutter. “Since I can’t get you to confess your feelings for me the easy way… I suppose I’ll just have to get it out of you the hard way” Laurel side dramatically and let her go before pulling out his wand and pointing it at her “Incarcerous” he whispered, and Adelia wrists were tight together “Laurel you dick, let me go!” She exclaimed and Laurel let out a dark chuckle. Grabbing her chin, he forced her to look at him “No… and from now on Adelia… you will refer to me as Master” he whispered in her ear. Adelia turned bright red “fuck no!” She exclaimed then Laurels lips silenced hers, his tongue pushing into her mouth.
Laurel growled as she continued to resist, pulling down her skirt he put his hand down her panties and began to tease her clit. Adelia tried to hold back a moan… but Laurel was too good at this…he knew all her weak spots. Laurel smirked a bit as they kissed, feeling Adelia getting wetter, inserting two of his fingers inside he began to finger her, scissoring his fingers and rubbing against her g-spot, Adelia was about to cum already!
Laurel swiftly removed his fingers making Adelia whine at the denial of her orgasm “you bastard…” she gasped, and Laurel chuckled “You wanna cum Adelia?” He asked in a teasing tone, Adelia nodding rapidly “Then all you have to do… is call me Master…” he whispered and thrust his fingers back inside her but did not move them.
Adelia bit her lip trying to resist… but fuck did she want to cum… “Please… let me cum… Master…” she finally whispered. Laurel smiled and added a third finger “What was that love? I couldn’t hear you” he chuckled, and Adelia finally snapped “Please Master! Please let me cum!” She exclaimed, her legs shaking with need. Laurel kissed her cheek “good girl…” he whispered and began to slam his fingers deep into her pussy, hitting all her sensitive spots… “Fuck…fuck I’m… im gonna…” Adelia bucked her hips as she came, her pussy tightening around his fingers, her panties getting soaked.
Pulling his fingers out of her he showed her, her cum on his fingers “You can lie to me all you want Adelia… but your body can’t…” he smirked “Now get on your knees… it’s time for you to pleasure your Master…” Adelia wanted to resist… wanted to slap him and tell him she hated him… but a bigger part of her wanted him to fuck her senseless… getting on her knees with her wrist still bound she tugged down his pants and underwear and took him all the way down to the base, her head bobbing back and forth at a rapid pace. Even Laurel was surprised and almost lost his footing… gripping her hair he groaned “Oh fuck Adelia… when did you become such a little slut for my cock?” He asked and began to thrust into her mouth.
Drool dribbled down Adelia’s chin as she sucked him harder… if that was even possible. Suddenly Laurel slammed her head down on to his cock and held it there “Fuck I’m cumming! Swallow all your Master's cum!” He demanded and flooded her mouth… Laurel let her head go and she pulled back and fell onto her back gasping for air… Laurel got between her legs and blushed… she looked so cute when he fucked her brains out… “Tell your Master how badly you want him to fuck you” he purred, teasing his cock again her dripping pussy. “Please master… please fuck my pussy with your big cock!” She cried no longer resisting him.
Laurel pushed Adelia’s legs up, pressing them to her chest as he began to violently thrust into her, one of his hands moving down to pinch her clit “Tell me how much you love your Master's cock!” He grunted. “I l-love my master’s cock!” She cried between thrusts. Laurel was acting like an animal… he was usually reserved… even in their most heated moments… but right now… all he wanted to do was absolutely ruin her. “Fuck Adelia…fuck I should just flood you with my cum! Make you pregnant so you’ll have to stay with me! No more acting like a slut and flirting with others! You’ll have to want me!” He grunted.
Adelia seemed to come to her senses slightly… Laurel was acting differently… it scared her “N-no… Laurel…” she gasped. Hearing Adelia’s voice he actually slowed down and realized what he was doing and saying… he actually pulled out and backed away “Adelia I… I’m sorry I…” he saw that she was actually crying now… Adelia stood up and put on her skirt “I hate you, Laurel!” She exclaimed and ran out of the basement. Laurel sat there… in shock at himself… he had never lost control like that before… he fucked up big time.

"I heard you were in an accident last night, babe. Are you okay? I'm so sorry I got mad at you yesterday." Seokjin comes towards you, cupping your face to look at every inch, every detail. You move away from his hold, backing up to give yourself some space.
"Seokjin, I told you to stop calling me that. Jesus. I'm fine. Don't need you to check up on me."
"Are you really gonna keep that up? I said I was sorry."
"Okay, and? I heard you."
"Really, that's it? Y/N, why are you being like this? What's the real reason?" He follows after you as you make your way to the library. To say Seokjin was persistent is an understatement— he was persistent for the wrong reasons. Like, keeping you close so he had you to fall on when things went wrong with another chick, his safety net.
"Because this is done, I don't know how many times I have to tell you. I'm tired of you doing this so, please. Just go." You slightly turn towards him as you climb up the stairs.
"I wanna work this out with you. Don't push me away. Let me help." You don't respond. He watches as you adjust your bag strap and wave at Jungkook. Seokjin chuckles and grabs your wrist gently, making Jungkook suddenly hop on defense as he balls his fists. Like he could do shit. Seokjin would probably wreck his ass with those broad shoulders.
Still. He hated how much of an asshole he was to you.
"Wait, what the fuck?" Seokjin laughs his rare, deep laugh that he uses when he's caught off guard. "You're hanging out with nerds, now?"
"And if I was, that would be none of your business." You snatch your arm away while glaring at him. You shake your head and continue walking towards Jungkook, relieved Seokjin finally left you alone today. Probably off to tell Namjoon, Yoongi and his friends how much of a bitch you've been and that you actually left him to hang out with a nerd.
Sunmi knows you're being tutored. However if that wasn't the case, she would question you, but she never take their side on shit. She remained loyal to you, and always supported you through whatever. That's why she's remained your bestfriend until this day. The senior chicks Seokjin and them hung around with though? Questionable. As long as Sunmi was by your side and you by hers, you both didn't care much for getting close to them.
"Hey, sorry you had to see that." You say as you sigh and set your bag down alongside of you on the long table.
"It's alright." Jungkook replies softly. "Are you okay?"
"Yes. Thanks." You give him a tiny, tightlipped smile. "So, should we get right into tutoring, or should we talk about the details of our deal? I have all afternoon." Luckily, it was quite loud in the loud section of the library. No one cared much to listen in to your secret deal with Jungkook, nor did anyone care because it was Jungkook.
"I do too. I guess, whatever works for you?"
"Let's get this tutoring over with first then iron out the rest." He nods.
"Sure." He pulls out his notebook. "Tell me, what are you struggling with?"
"Everything." He does a small head tilt.
"I doubt that. I'm sure you understand some things."
"No, you don't understand Jungkook. I'm legit drowning. I don't know what I'm doing wrong or where I'm lacking." Jungkook simply looks at you, lips pressed together before he nods. You're not lacking anywhere, he thinks. You're really not. The subject is just shitty and the spawn of the devil.
"That's okay. Well, can I go over some basics? Throw in some tips?"
"Yes, please. Lead the way. I need you." You chuckled, but it makes the heat rush to his cheeks. He hopes you don't catch the rosy tint creeping up on them, so he instantly grabs at the whiteboard near your table and starts to go over the very beginning, the very basics of this semester's OChem class. Maybe a bit from last semester, but last semester wasn't entirely that bad compared to this one.
He didn't expect you to be all that engaged for some reason, but he should have known you'd ask questions left and right, taking the black whiteboard marker from his hand to practice what you've learned with him watching and guiding you from your side. You were always focused, always so determined. You were incredibly smart. Incredibly beautiful.
Honestly, Jungkook go on for days.
The both of you hadn't realized it was nearing close to 5PM and neither of you had really eaten much since lunch. You sit, feeling pretty good about your first session with Jungkook. You feel a little bad having kept him for so long over OChem, realizing you still had things to iron out with him.
[sunmi] 4:34pm: hey babe, not gonna be leaving for a bit. i forgot i had to work on this psych project with jennie. you okay with leaving around 6/7?
"Crap."
"What's the matter?" Jungkook glances at you as you continue to stare at your phone and scroll away.
"Sunmi isn't leaving until later. I'll probably be stuck here for a little longer after you leave." You put your phone down, now resting your chin against your palm, nails slightly digging into your cheek.
"I-I can give you a ride, if you'd like? Plus, we still need to talk.. about stuff." He shyly says.
"Jungkook, that's too much to ask for."
"It's really not a big deal. How far do you live from campus?"
"Maybe a 10 minute drive, the next exit off the freeway." He shrugs.
"I'm going in that direction too."
"Are you sure?"
"Positive. We can just talk on the way home."
"Would you be willing to stop by for dinner? We can talk then. Maybe it can be considered our 'first date.'" You joke with a small giggle.
"Oh, sure. Yeah." He gives off a tiny, nervous laugh. "Where did you have in mind?"
"Can we get.. hm—" You hum. "Fire Wings? Down the street?" He almost feels intoxicated watching how your eyes gleam under the light, how they brighten and widen when you mention food. You were cute, and you didn't even know it.
"Only if you tell me what flavors you get." He tries to get smart, which makes you laugh. He made you laugh.
"Is this judgment day? Gonna see if you should call quits on our deal before it even starts?"
"Maybe." He goes along with it.
"Okay. Garlic Parmesan and Dragon." You pack up your things before shooting him a look.
"Okay, solid flavors." He nods. "I guess we can continue on."
"You're funny." You giggle as you both throw your bags onto your backs. You stay in your position until Jungkook comes to your side so you can walk by him. You don't know much about him, but he has a soft demeanor and he makes you feel comfortable. You had only seen him a couple of times across campus, not really noticing him much in class either. You feel a little bad knowing you didn't even try being that he sat behind you, but better late than never I guess? Maybe there was a reason for all of this happening. The way he tutored you today was insane, too— he was super smart, but broke it down perfectly, was patient. He was patient.
No wonder Dr. K loved his ass.
"What about you?" You picked up the conversation.
"I usually go for a dry rub and Garlic Parmesan."
"I haven't tried any dry rubs."
"You can try one of mine later."
"Okay." You suddenly remember to shoot Sunmi a text before she comes looking for you everywhere on campus. Jungkook stays silent beside you, allowing you to do your thing without being too overbearing or nosy.
But, he honestly can't help but glance a few times.
[y/n] 5:11pm: sorry just saw this, hitching a ride with my tutor. don't worry about me! ty ily, have fun working on your project.
[sunmi] 5:13pm: tutor, as in jeon jungkook?
[y/n] 5:15pm: yeah, he offered.
[sunmi] 5:16pm: okay, that was nice of him. if he tries anything tho i'll beat his ass. text me when u get home?
[y/n] 5:17pm: don't worry about him, he won't lol i will.
[sunmi] 5:18pm: kk love u b
"Sorry." You say, tucking your phone into your pocket. "Had to text Sunmi."
"That's okay. You two are really close, right?"
"Yeah, since high school."
"Cool." At this point, Jimin, Taehyung and Hoseok are coming out of the café at the same you two are passing.
"What about you, where are your friends?"
"Um." He sighs, trying to avoid his friends obnoxiously waving and calling him from the distance. You glance over from behind his figure, chuckling a little bit. "That's them."
"Cute. You all are really close, too?"
"Ya, I've known Jimin the longest though." You smile and wave at them, causing them to gasp and whisper amongst each other with huge smiles on their faces.
"I'll need to meet them if we're gonna do this thing for real. Do they know?"
"Yeah kinda."
"That's okay. We should probably work on keeping it between us though." He nods.
"Okay, but. Can we save meeting them for later? They're a bit.. much." You smile.
"Sure."
"D-do I have to meet Sunmi?" You nod.
"If you wanna make this believable, yeah."
"She's kinda scary."
"Jungkook, she's not gonna bite your head off. She just has that look, but I promise she's sweet." That look, that resting bitch face. Really, you could be biased because it's Sunmi. She really only had issues if she felt disrespected. Other than that, she meant well. Same with you— you've been accused of being intimidating and having the same look but you don't mean any harm by it.
"Okay." Jungkook unlocks his black 2016 Honda Civic and pops his bag in the trunk. You do the same, while Jungkook goes to open the passenger door for you.
"Thanks." You smile sweetly at him. He climbs into his seat, hitting the button to start the car and sighs. The music in the background starts to play, and it sounds mellow, soothing— like it came straight out of a fairytale. His eyes widen as he rushes to lower the volume before shyly looking at you.
"Sorry."
"What, no. Don't be. What is this?"
"A Final Fantasy lofi mix." He begins to drive off as you turn the volume back up.
"It's nice. Pretty relaxing."
"Ya, it's nice to listen to after a long day." He pushes his glasses up at the light.
"Do you have family here?" He nods.
"I do. My mom and dad live about an hour away. I'm the only child. What about you?"
"Same. They're probably 30 minutes up north."
"Do you live alone?"
"Yeah, I live in a studio. It's actually my coworker's. She bought the space to rent it out. She lets me rent it for pretty cheap though."
"That's nice."
"You?"
"I live with Jimin. Our parents are close."
"What about your other friends?"
"Hoseok is dorming, and Taehyung would rather live back home with his family and commute. He's close to them. He'll crash at ours or Hoseok's from time to time."
"Are you close to your family?" He nods as he turns into the plaza lot.
"I suppose, yes. I'm just really quiet overall, so they think it's hard to read me sometimes." He parks and you watch as he shuts the car off with the same button. "You?"
"Yeah, I'm really close to my mom. Dad, a little questionable."
"Why, if I may ask?" He comes to open your door again, causing you to give him a small smile.
"He, um. Just got into some stuff." He watches as your body tenses while you fiddle with your fingers waiting in line.
"It's okay, don't think about it. I won't ask again."
"It's okay, Jungkook. Really. Maybe another time?" You look up at him and he nods. He stands way taller than you, almost at Seokjin's height, if not the same. He likes to wear baggy, dark clothing and doesn't do much to fix or style his hair.
He's simple, but in a good way.
You both order your food with Jungkook going first so he can grab a table afterwards. Before he could pay though, you offer to cover him for dinner as your way of thanking him for driving you home. You make your way over to the table he snags, Jungkook silently sitting at the high table with his legs pressed together and his hands clasped tightly on his lap.
"You okay?"
"Ya, why?"
"You look tense."
"Sorry. It's not everyday I have dinner with Y/N." You smile.
"Stop, relax." You watch as he slightly eases up. "So, this deal." He nods. "A month?"
"Yeah, I suppose."
"We have to convince people it's real or else people will know something weird is going on." You look at his hand, now resting on the table. "You're gonna have to hold my hand and kiss me, you know?" He swallows the lump in his throat. Shit, he thinks. Don't know if I can actually pull this off?
A kiss?! Fuck.
"Y-yeah."
"When was your last relationship, Jungkook?"
"8th grade." Your eyes widen.
"O-oh, now I see."
"What's that supposed to mean? It's terrible, I know but I—"
"No, no, no. You're good. It's totally okay, it doesn't matter. I'll just have to teach you to make it look realistic and not.. awkward." You perk up again. "Not saying that you are though, okay."
"I know."
"So, are you.."
"Am I..?" He cocks hid head to the side in confusion.
"Like.."
"Just ask Y/N."
"Are you a virgin?"
"I don't know." You furrow your brows.
"Huh?"
"Look, this is gonna sound really embarrassing and I don't know if I'm even ready to tell my fake girlfriend about it."
"Just say it. We have to know things about each other." He sighs.
"I— ugh." He groans. "I did it with my girlfriend at the time. Or I guess my ex because we had broken up and this was sometime during freshmen year in high school and she came onto me out of nowhere at a mutual friend's pool party. But it was weird because we were just hormonal kids and I was just curious so I slipped myself into her only to slip back out right after because—" He's rambling, but you're doing your best to keep up.
"Because?"
"I-I, ugh. Y/N." He shuts his eyes and pinches the bridge of his nose. "Are you really gonna make me say it?"
"Jungkook." You lean a bit to try and catch eye contact.
"I came right away." He says just as the worker puts down your food and takes the number from your table.
"Ohhhhhhh." You say as you nod slowly. "Okay."
"You can just run now." His head hangs low as he slowly slides his chicken over in front of him, causing you to chuckle.
"I'm not going anywhere. It's okay. Stop that."
"It's pathetic."
"No. Besides, I know you'll get better overall, and you'll find someone who will rock with you till the end. We'll work on this."
"Thanks." He says, feeling comfortable around you. You were quick to reassure him and smile at him, he felt himself melting in his seat. Yeah, you were too good for Seokjin.
"You'll have to come to parties with me. Club events. Events in general. It won't look right if I'm always going without you."
"Okay. Can I bring my friends?"
"Sure." He nods. "What do you do in your free time?"
"Play video games and listen to music. Read comics, manga. Build lego sets with the guys."
"Cute." You smile.
"You?"
"Hang out with Sunmi, or just watch movies on my own at my place. Read. Eat by myself. Explore by myself. I value my alone time."
"It's nice." Jungkook's familiar with it. Even if he had his friends around, he truly liked being in his own peace when allowed. "What about outside of the public eye?"
"Hm?" You hum.
"Do we hang out?"
"Yeah we can." You nod.
"Cool." He smiles.
"Is my car gonna be a lot of work for you?"
"Don't worry about it, it'll be good soon. Just might take a bit cause I need some parts to make it look brand new again."
"I really can't thank you enough." He shrugs.
"Only trying to help my girlfriend out." He boldly says, causing you to laugh.
"Confidence is peeking through already, are you sure you need me?" You joke. The rest of the evening, you continue to talk to Jungkook about pretty surface level shit— what you like, dislike, overall experience in high school and college so far. It was a nice, harmless conversation, one where you were starting to see how warmhearted Jungkook really was. How real and laid back.
None of the shit in Seokjin's group. It was refreshing, a breath of fresh air.
Once dinner had finally finished, Jungkook was on his way to drop you off. He had parked in an empty guest spot, offering to walk you up just to be sure. At the door, he took a peek at how clean your studio was, mainly soft colors of white and cream taking over, with plants scattered around your living room area. The hallway in was sandwiched between your kitchen area and another wall, Jungkook assuming your bed was on the opposite side of it. He awkwardly stands at the door, afraid of overstepping.
"Well, goodnight Y/N. I'll see you tomorrow."
"Hey, wait." You smile and come close to him. He swallows, his mouth suddenly feeling dry when he feels your breasts press against his chest. "First lesson— give me a kiss."
"Right now?"
"Jeon Jungkook, we're doing this tomorrow. People are gonna have to see this at least once while we're together." He nods and presses a quick kiss against your cheek. "Not bad, but a little longer?" He complies and presses another kiss, leaving his pillowy lips against your cheek for a little longer before pulling away. "Perfect. Now here." You point at your lips before crossing your arms.
"Y/N, I—"
"Don't be afraid, just do it. I won't kick you in the balls or anything."
"It's not that. I just don't think I'm a great at this stuff."
"Okay." You tippytoe and gently grab his jaw while you lean towards his face. "Just relax, okay? Don't think too much of it." He stays silent, doe eyes constantly on you as you continue to inch forward.
Sparks. Just sparks everywhere for Jungkook.
He feels your soft lips against his and he relaxes, moreso because he feels like he's lost all senses being this close to you. Taking in your scent. Kissing you.
"There." He stands still, still trying to process the kiss. "Not bad. We'll get better over time, but at least that looks believable. Just—" You put his hands down as they were about to fall onto your hips during the kiss, but they fell short. "Let it happen and hold me, okay?" You smile. "Night Jungkook."
"N-night." He stutters as he watches you close the door. "Fuck." He whispers to himself when he realizes he's now sporting a boner. "Jungkook, what the fuck is this?!" He continues to whisper to himself as he waddles down your hallway.

Hi! I just found your blog and it’s so cute 😭🙏✨ I especially love the Kyoya ones! So Could I ask for an insecure chubby reader who has a hard time loving her body and one day Kyoya finds out while they’re studying together and he kisses her tummy to show that he doesn’t care? I hope you have a wonderful day!!!
Welcome aboard! Happy to have you! Hope you don't mind, I combined yours with another ask, so I hope you like it!
Chemistry│Kyoya Ootori X Chubby Reader
Everyday, you ask yourself: What perspective will I look at my body today? Do I love my rolls? My thick thighs? Round stomach? It was hard to when you went to a school like Ouran. Picture perfect girls that were elegant, beautiful, thin. It was easy to feel insecure, and it’s not like your peers made it any easier. If you’d had a dollar for everytime someone had given their rude, mean, unsolicited “advice”, you’d be a millionaire by now.
You start the day off like any other. Nitpicking at your “flaws”. Round face, chubby cheeks, generous waist. It was all the same to you. There’s no way Kyoya likes me. Look at me. You thought, frowning at yourself in the mirror. You’d heard through the grapevine (read: Tamaki) that Kyoya had feelings for you and was possibly going to ask you out. It’d been about a month and he had yet to say anything, so you weren't sure how true that was. Why would he ask me out anyway?
Time Skip
You were supposed to meet the host club for a group study session in the club room during lunch. The twins needed help with chemistry and since you and Kyoya were in the advanced class, you decided to help. Walking into the club room, you’re met with just Kyoya. “Hey Kyoya,” you wave awkwardly. You’ve never been alone together before! You’re not sure what to say. “Where is everybody?” You ask, confused. Were you supposed to meet at the library instead? “They’re not here. I sent them to run a few errands for me. The club needed some supplies.” He states, pushing his glasses further on his face. “Oh, well would you like me to come at a different time?” You ask, nervous. You really wanted to spend time with him alone, but you wouldn’t push him if he didn’t want to. Peace and quiet was hard to come by at the host club. “No, that’s not necessary. In fact, why don’t we get started until they show?” He says. You could work with that. Taking a seat next to him, you both start to work.
A few minutes pass with you and Kyoya working separately, until you get confused on a certain question. You want to ask him for help, but you don’t want to look stupid! Noticing your furrowed brows, Kyoya leans over to see what you’re working on, “Do you need some help?” Startled, you look up, but quickly shake your head. “No! I mean, I think I need to try to work it out.” “Are you sure? That problem gave me some trouble as well. I’d understand if it’s a bit confusing.” You gape at him. Him? Confused? You’d never thought you’d see the day. “But, you’re like, super smart. I thought you’d get this kind of stuff right off the bat.” “Well, there’s a lot you don’t know about me.” He smirks. This should be interesting. “Really? Like what?” You ask. “I have a distinct taste. When it comes to food, culture, people. I don’t settle. I expect the absolute best.” You deflate a little, but try not to let it show. There’s no way I’m classified. “Okay! Then give me an example. What’s your type of person?” You ask genuinely curious. You may think you’re not certified but you’d be damned if you stood in the way of Kyoya being happy. Sighing, he answers, “Hmm, someone that’s down to earth, honest not only with me but with themselves. Caring, and understanding, both of which my family isn’t so I’d appreciate them. Funny. I guess my opposite, if that makes sense.” Nodding, you sigh. Of course. “Someone, like you (Y/N).” Shocked, you look up at him. Me? Someone like me? “Kyoya, what are you saying?” “I’m trying to say that I like you.” He chuckles, pushing up his glasses. “I know that Tamaki has told you about my feelings for you, but I thought it’d be better hearing it from me, in a more intimate setting.” It started to make sense. That’s why he sent them to run errands. He wanted to ask you out! “But, look at me Kyoya. I’m not what you want. What your parents want to see. I-” Shutting you up with a kiss, Kyoya looks at you lovingly. “Come with me.”
Taking your hand, he leads you to the host club dressing room. “What are we doing in here?” You ask, confused. Turning you to the mirror, he stands behind you. “Do you know what I see?” Kyoya asks, wrapping his arms around your waist, hands caressing your belly. Shaking your head, you look at him through the mirror. Staring back at you, he rubs your waist soothingly, giving you room to push him away, “I see someone who doesn’t know how beautiful they are. Doesn’t see how much they mean, not only to me but the people around them.” He kisses your cheek, hands caressing your rolls. “Kyoya, I-” “Shh, let me just appreciate you. Let me admire the beauty that is you.” Nodding your head, you allow him to touch your “flaws”. Allow him to admire. “I love you so much dear. You have no idea how long I’ve wanted to be able to do this. Be able to hold you. Love you.” Leaning down, he kisses your stomach. “All of you.” Turning to face him, you kiss him passionately. He feels the same. “I love you too Kyoya, thank you. You have no idea what it means to me.” You rest your head on his chest, letting him hold you close. “You have no idea what you mean to me, my dear.”
When the host club shows up about an hour later, they sense a shift in the air between you two. “What happened while we were gone?” Hikaru asks. “Oh, nothing.” you say, looking at Kyoya, holding his hand. “Just chemistry.”

Ever since you met Karl, you’ve hated everything about him. He was sweet, he was caring, he was everything you’ve ever wanted in anyone. From the moment he stepped foot in your kindergarten your life had become a living hell. He was great! You on the other hand, had never felt more miserable in your life. It had never occurred to you that being different was a bad thing, but apparently, to your whole kindergarten class of 26 kids, it was terrible. But, somehow, amidst the screaming kids and the poorly colored art projects, Karl only saw you.
Your fellow kindergarten classmates stared at you, perhaps a bit too judgingly, as you sat down in your seat. Feeling super excited to come to school today, your grandma has recently gotten you your very own pink sundress, equipped with a pink satin ribbon to tie a cute little bow in the back. You wanted your classmates to like you, so you had to be the prettiest you could ever be.
“Why are you wearing a dress to school? Do you think you’re a princess?” one of the children say, rather, shout across the room. And with that, the whole class starts laughing, except you.
“What? Are you trying to impress someone?”
“OOO Y/N HAS A CRUSH!”
“I bet it’s Karl”
“Of course it is. She just wants to daaaaaaate him, doesn’t she?”
With tears welling up in your eyes and boogers dripping down your nose, you quickly stand up just to take the hall pass and run to the nearest bathroom. It was humiliating, feeling like you had tried so hard to make friends just to get laughed at. It felt terrible.
Tumblr media
You were NOT excited for your first day of high school. Why would you be? It was just another year of “light hearted” jokes about you and how you were “so different.” Settling with a seat in the back, you tilt your head down only for the teacher to walk in right after.
“Good morning, students! Welcome to your first day of Freshman Year! I’m sure you’re all very excited for these next four years, but before that why don’t we all introduce ourselves to each other!” The teacher says, in a high pitch, peppy voice. You had stopped listening to her after that. You already knew what was going to happen, you were going to be paired up with some immature male football player looking for a tall, hot, and blonde cheerleader girlfriend, then he was going to say something stupid like, “Girls like you aren’t really my type.” No shit you weren’t his type. It happened every year. Feeling a light tap on your shoulder, you force your head up, preparing yourself for the dreadful introduction.
“Hi! I believe we’re partners for the All About Me project. May I sit here?” he says, pointing to the chair beside you. He, as in Karl Jacobs. The Karl Jacobs. The man, the myth, the legend, the boy that filled your entire life with “She just wants to date Karl. She’s such an attention whore.” With that, your eyes widen. You weren’t expecting him, nor were you ever this mad about anything in your life. You didn’t want to know anything about him, let alone do a whole project learning about him.
“Yeah, you can sit there.” You answer through clenched teeth.
“Thanks! I’m pretty sure we’re not going to be able to finish this within the period considering there are like 30 questions, so did you want to work on this in the library after school?” he asks.
“Sure.” You say promptly, not even bothering to make eye contact with him.
“I believe we went to the same elementary school, but I haven’t really gotten the chance to talk to you, so I’m glad we got to be partners for this project. I’m excited to get to know you.” He says, a glint of hope in his eyes. You hated it. Was he actually being nice? To you?
The rest of the period would have been answering all the questions on the list, but instead you guys had been side tracked, going off topic and talking about anything and everything. Putting aside your hatred for the boy, Karl seemed like a genuinely nice person. You had learned he loved gaming, which he was surprised you had a knack for as well.
“Well, Y/n, I’m sorry we couldn’t get a lot done this period. But, I’ll see you at the library later, and maybe we can even try out that new game you talked about tonight.” He says, standing up out of his chair and leaving the classroom. Maybe today wouldn’t be too bad after all.
Tumblr media
ONE “Move!” you say, playfully shoving Karl off of you. It was the summer before your senior year, and you would have never guessed that you, Y/n L/n, would be spending your whole high school career with the boy you loathed most, Karl Jacobs. If there was ever anything you'd ever looked forward to, it was spending every Friday night with Karl Jacobs. That fateful day at the library was the start of the best tradition ever known to man.
“But we’re watching a movie!” Karl exclaims.
“So? You don’t need to watch it while squishing me half to death.”
“What do you mean? Have you ever heard of CUDDLING?”
“Cuddling has never consisted of MURDER.”
It was always like this. Every Friday night Karl would come to your house, your mom would gush at how handsome he was while she set a plate down of whatever food he wanted, and him telling her that she was the best cook ever. This is what you’ve always wanted, right? You had a best friend, who accepted you as you were, and you him. Despite always having heartwarming and laughter filled moments with your best friend, your heart hurt. A lot. Maybe the moment was just too heartwarming, or maybe this was the universe telling you that you didn’t want to be his friend anymore.
Tumblr media
TWO “Hey, Karl!” she says. Ah, yes. Her. Karl’s childhood crush since what? Fourth grade?
“Oh, um, Hi!” He replies. There it was. That dreadful pain in your chest that only grew bigger as she sat down right next to him, disregarding the fact that you were sitting right there. The way she twirled her long blonde hair, the way she leaned over to show all of her cleavage, the way she wore skirts so short you could almost see her underwear, and the way it made your blood boil and your heart hurt until you couldn’t handle it anymore. You wanted to walk away so bad, but as Karl’s best friend you should support him in his romantic interests, even if you didn’t like them.
“So… I’m sure you’ve heard already. I broke up with my boyfriend.” she says, tracing her finger up and down his arm, making him noticeably very nervous.
“Oh, I’m so sorry to hear that. If you ever need anyone to talk to, I’m always here.” You hear him say. Of course he was always here. He was there for everyone, and he would never try to exclude anyone from his kindness.
“I broke up with him because of you!”
“W-what”
“I want to be with you, silly!” she says. And with that, you felt your whole world go black and white. Did you hear her correctly? She wanted to be with him?
“I- I’m sorry, I can’t be with you.”
“WHAT?!? BUT I BROKE UP WITH MY BOYFRIEND JUST TO BE WITH YOU!”
“Well I’m sorry, but I love someone else. You should’ve consulted me before you threw away your relationship.”
Did you hear HIM correctly? He loves someone? You couldn’t take it anymore and excused yourself. Yet again, you ran to the bathroom feeling the same pain in your chest only 10 times worse. You didn’t want to be Karl’s friend anymore. Not like this.
Tumblr media
THREE “I can’t believe you’re moving to California, Y/n” Karl says as he pushes his hair back, sighing in disbelief. “You’re really going to leave me?” He continues, tears welling up in his eyes as he turns to look at you with his signature puppy eyes.
“I have to! It’s always been my dream to go to college there!” You reply, feeling guilty for leaving behind everything for your dream.
“But I’ll miss you!” he says, fully knowing facetime exists, and you would always visit him during breaks.
“I’ll miss you too! But, I need to do this. Can you stay strong? For me?” you ask, cupping his face with your left hand. You had gone on one of your late night drives again, parking in an empty parking lot as you have deep late night conversations. Today’s topic happened to be college, and while it had been always known you were moving across the country after high school, the day was coming closer and it all felt too real.
As Karl leans his face into your hand, he lets out a yawn. “I guess it’s time to go back then.” you say.
“No, I don’t want to. I have to spend every second with you until you leave.” he whines. You wanted to as well, but then, there it was. The stinging in the back of your heart. You were tired of it. You hated feeling this way. You didn’t want to be Karl’s friend anymore.
Tumblr media
THE END The warm summer air blew past you as you and Karl sit atop your roof, staring into the distance in the comfortable silence that was there from the moment Karl got to your house. Neither of you had spoken a word but neither of you cared. You just wanted to be with him. What would’ve made the night perfect was if you weren’t getting on the plane the very next morning, moving across the country.
Building up as much courage as you could, you said the three words you’ve been wanting to say ever since you had become friends. You were leaving, but before that you wanted more than anything else to let him know this. “I love you.” You say, causing his eyes to go wide. You… loved him? That was impossible.
“Yeah, I love you too.” He says casually.
“No. I love you more than in a friendly way.” You reply.
“Really? Why?” He asks in disbelief.
“I don’t know. Maybe it was because you were my first friend, but it’s definitely because you’re you. I’ve been bullied almost my whole life, and you know that. But, no matter how the world brings me down, and even when hurtful words stab me, I can smile again. Because you’re there.” You say, tears rolling down your face. You pause, before continuing on about how much he means to you. “I mean, my whole life, one moment I feel like I’m nothing at all. Like no one would notice if I were gone. But then you came! And I was so happy. Or maybe it’s cause you make me feel loved. But when I’m with you, I feel so special.”
And with that, Karl makes no hesitation in cupping your cheeks, silently wiping away your tears. In that moment, he decides that he doesn't want to be your friend anymore either. Leaning in, he whispers, “I love you too.” before he crashes his lips onto yours.

Part 1 Here! / Part 2 Here! / Part 3 Here! / Part 4 Here! / Part 5 Here! / Part 6 Here! / Part 7 Here! / Part 8 Here! / Part 9 Here! / Part 10 Here!
A/N: I apologize for all the profanity in this part ahead of time. I think I’m going to do M/W/Sat updates, as long as my writing permits, and then maybe Wed/Sat updates. I got the day off because it snowed so I thought I would post this since it’s ready haha
* Well you’re royally f*cked
* There’s a big stupid smile curled on your face, and every time you try to hide it, it just comes back wider
* You really shouldn’t be happy right now
* “What has you in such a good mood?” Edward’s got a matching smile of his own.
* Oh shit. It’s fine, you’ll just play dumb.
* “How do you know I’m happy?” How about the dumb grin you’ve got on your face you stupid b*tch.
* You would have smacked your own forehead if you weren’t aware Edward was watching your every move
* You’re lucky Edward’s nice and he doesn’t call you out on it
* “Whenever you’re happy it kind of radiates off of you,” his voice lowers “you know because of your powers”
* Ah, you didn’t know you did that
* “So what do you think about the new girl?” You blurt it out like it’s an intrusive thought
* F*ck. Just-okay just play it cool. Play it cool.
* F********ckkkkk what’s wrong with you.
* Is being happy making you act like a moron?
* He shrugs
* “Just another human, I kind of wish everyone would shut up about it though. Having to hear people talk about her and think about her is getting annoying. It’s like being in a tunnel with one too many echoes.”
* Ah, so he hasn’t noticed yet.
* “I wonder what she’s thinking about.”
* Edward just shrugs again.
* What the f*ck Edward take a hint!
* “Edward?”
* “Yes dear?” He has the nerve to grin after using that pet name. The criminal is teasing you. Some best friend.
* And still it makes you outrageously happy
* You have to force your smile into a straight line
* “What’s the new girl thinking?”
* He looks over to her, Tyler and Mike are fighting for her attention, both of them a moment away from tugging on each arm and shouting “mine!”
* You see him search, you’ve heard enough about his powers to know right now it’s like mall food court level of chatter for him, but in a few seconds he’ll focus on her and realize he can’t hear her thoughts.
* Knowing how prideful he is though, he’ll probably deny it.
* “I don’t know I can’t read her mind” he says bluntly. “Do you think the school music teacher would teach me how to play violin if I asked?”
* “What?!?”
* “I know it’s kind of inconsiderate to ask but-“ you click your tongue
* “No not that!” You gesture towards Bella “you can’t read her mind?!? Isn’t that kind of a big deal?”
* His eyebrows thread together
* “I can’t read your mind either”
* Yes but you’re from a completely different world, in a body that radiates despair (and apparently joy now). You’re basically like some type of eldritch being from another dimension.
* Edward doesn’t see it that though
* “Honestly it’s a relief, one less mind I have to tune out.” He walks ahead of you as you stay motionless in the middle of the hallway
* What the f*ck is happening?
* “Are you coming? We’re going to be late for Biology if you keep lagging behind like that.”
* How could you forget? The whole story starts because Edward is super into Bella’s blood! He fantasizes killing her for like- the entire class period.
* You were worried for nothing, just because they didn’t have the cafeteria moment isn’t that big of a deal
* The thought makes you both relieved and a little sad
* Still it’s for the best, this is the way things are supposed to be
* And who knows, if you have to leave maybe you can poach Rosalie and Emmett to leave with you
* And maybe Jasper, he won’t like having a human around the house all the time
* “Mr. Cullen, Ms. Eleazar” Mr. Banner hands you each a worksheet.
* Oh right the onion cell worksheet. Ah right the mitosis crap. Well hopefully Mike remembers enough that you both can hobble through
* “New year means new seating arrangement!” He tells you both excitedly. The seating arrangements on the projector.
* “Why am I next to Edward isn’t the seating arrangement supposed to be alphabetical?”
* “I decided to go by grade this time, you should be happy! Aren’t you two...friends?” You can tell your teacher is confused by the nature of your relationship, almost as much as you are.
* “Super happy Teach.” You mumble taking your seat next to Edward who’s grinning like an idiot
* “You can’t say he’s picking favorites when it’s merit based.” He grins and you roll your eyes
* Angela’s sitting next to Ben Cheney, they seem to be discussing the trigonometry homework, and how it’s basically impossible
* Oh right, he’s supposed to be her boyfriend this year.
* Personally you think Angela could do way better. But love is blind, you’ll ship it if you have to.
* And right on cue Mike walks in, Bella following close behind. He takes his seat on the table behind you while Bella talks to Mr. Barnes
* “Why didn’t you guys sit with us at lunch today?” Mike is practically leaned over the entire width of the table.
* Before you can say anything Edward snorts
* “Because (Y/N) was getting lectured for staying out all night again”
* Mike looks like his eyes might pop out of his head
* “W-what? Out all night?! Without inviting me!” You roll your eyes.
* “He’s making it more dramatic, I went out for a run early in the morning because I couldn’t sleep and everyone was freaking out because they thought I got kidnapped.”
* Like any vampire or human stood a chance against you and your violent mood swings
* Mike’s so caught up in lecturing you about how you need to be more careful
* “There’s a lot of weirdos out there!” Yeah you live with them
* That he doesn’t even notice Bella’s taken a seat next to him
* Now that you get a better look at her, she is kinda pretty. She’s the kind of person who probably always looks good in photographs, no matter what the angle. Nice cheekbones and big brown eyes. Modest on boobs and butt, but she’s skinny so it works for her.
* “Hey, you’re Bella right?” You give her your friendliest smile, and you don’t miss the light blush that blooms on her face.
* You’re not sure whether it’s from your beauty or because she’s just not used to so much attention. She just nods.
* “Have you already seen the three whole things there are to do in Town on a Friday night?”
* Bella actually laughs at that. She’s got dimples, and little wrinkles that show up at the corner of her eyes. It’s cute.
* “One of those things is going to the library, so really it’s only two things.”
* She giggles again.
* “Is the other one going over to your house to play monopoly?” Mike asks, a grin arching onto his face
* “No my house is out of town, the other thing is to go to the school football game”
* “I’m not really a big fan of football” Bella hesitantly says, and Mike and Edward laugh
* “Yeah no one here does, everyone goes for the half time show, or just to hang out.”
* You’re pretty sure your entire friend group only goes to the games to see your cheer routine, especially this year since you’re captain now. The first junior captain in a long time apparently. The news actually made the local newspaper.
* Everything is going good, and you’re starting to think maybe you and Bella might be friends.
* “Why don’t we have a board game night at our house again? Last time was-“
* You stop sentence, you were having so much fun you almost forgot why Edward was so obsessed with Bella.
* The slight breeze from the air conditioning brings her scent to you.
* You cover your mouth and nose with your hand
* Her scent is REVOLTING
* “(Y/N), are you okay?” Mike asks
* You vaguely feel Edward’s hand on your shoulder, has he not caught her scent yet?
* It’s pretty hard to miss
* Like gym socks, with a overly sweet base, it’s like-
* Your head snaps up, and your hand clamps over your mouth and nose even harder, but not because the scent is revolting
* She smells like cheese, perfectly aged Gorgonzola cheese, or maybe Brie?
* You smell the sweeter undercurrent stronger now, it’s like warm juicy peaches
* Roasted peach salad tossed with Gorgonzola and olive oil
* How many times have you dreamed about eating that while basking in the warm sunlight
* “I knew you shouldn’t have eaten those leftovers at lunch,” Edward says, but you know it’s performative, thank god he’s still got some sense after smelling her.
* “Mr.Banner, I think (Y/N) ate something bad, is it alright if I help them to the nurses office?”
* “Yes and hurry!” He’s practically shooing you out as Edward pulls you by the arm
* Nooooo, you wanna smell her moreeee
* You have the sense to not wine and keep your mouth covered.
* Edward doesn’t take you to the nurse, you both don’t stop walking until you’re at the parking lot
* “What the hell was that?” He asks, it’s the first time he’s seemed even remotely angry with you
* He seems more confused then angry though, you’re so shocked you actually sit down on the curb.
* And after a moment of hesitance Edward sits beside you, placing his hand over your own
* “She smells good Edward, like really good.”
* Edward laughs
* “Yeah I gathered that” he shakes his head. “I thought you were supposed to be a picky eater”
* “I aaaaamm” you moan, your head is cradled in your left hand. “She’s like one in a million”
* “You’re one in a million” you lift your head to see Edward looking at you with that stupid sh*t eating grin.
* “Really Edward my life is falling apart because I want to eat someone, and you think the appropriate response is to flirt?”
* To be fair, he’s always flirting, it’s basically apart of his personality at this point
* “You’re being melodramatic.” He chuckles and throws an arm over your shoulder. “Worst case scenario you kill her, Carlisle doles out his funeral punishment-don’t ask, and then we have to start over as freshman again somewhere else.”
* You groan, you finally worked your way up to a junior, you were just starting to get used to this crappy town, you don’t wanna start all over again in a new one
* “What’s the best case scenario?”
* Edward thinks hard for a minute.
* “Best case scenario...the music teacher agrees to teach me how to play the violin and I impress you with my magnificent playing.” You smack him on the arm.
* “Not the best case scenario for you!” You know he’s doing it on purpose. He just wants to make you laugh
* It works, you do laugh. How much more absurd could this situation get?
* “Everything’s going to be fine, if Jasper can handle having to smell 300 students he thinks smell good, you can handle 1.”
* He’s got a point
* “Wait-didn’t she smell good to you?” Wasn’t that like, the whole d*mn point?
* His eyebrows thread together and he shrugs
* “Um, she smelled alright, no better or worse than the others. I’m not sure what you smelled-“
* What you smelled? The rich but refreshing flavor profile is sublime
* The f*cking heathen doesn’t even know what he’s missing
* “But to me she smelled like peaches”
* Well he kinda knows what he’s missing
* “She’s definitely anemic though, there’s a sever lack of iron in her scent” ah that must be that cheesy smell you’re getting
* Well ain’t this ironic. The girl who’s going to steal your best friend is only getting noticed because of you.
* “I don’t know, personally I prefer Henrietta the 3rds blood, but that’s just me” he’s lying, your blood is good and all, but it’s definitely still not on par with a humans blood
* He’s just trying to make you feel better.
* He rubs your shoulder, before patting it and moving to stand up.
* “Now come on, we have to make you eat some human food so you can throw up in front of the nurse and she lets us leave school early”
* You roll your eyes, anything to leave school early huh?
* “Yeah all right, lead the way Mr. Tall-Dark-and-Brooding”
* “Why do you always say that? I don’t brood that much anymore!”
* “You know how some people have resting b*tch face? You have resting brood face.”
* “Says the person who literally radiates despair” you shove him as you both walk towards the vending machine
* You take a deep breath as you watch Edward fumble with the vending machine
* The dork literally sticks a credit card up to the glass and demands the machine give him chips.
* (Y/N/N) why isn’t this working? Am I supposed to insert my card through this slot?”
* You laugh. You’re pretty sure he’s not doing this on purpose.
* “You’re supposed to use cash Edward.”
* You watch as he fumbles with his wallet muttering:
* “Do you think it’ll take a twenty dollar bill?”
* You watch in amusement as Edward tries - and fails- to use a twenty dollar bill, and then proceed to use obscure profanities to curse “this vile wretch of human technological advancement”
* You feel a sigh of relief escape you.
* Yeah, everything is going to be fine.

Tumblr media Tumblr media
How you met:
On a rainy day, a student ran into the lecture hall fifteen minutes late while soaking wet. To his surprise, there were no seats in the back, so he slowly moved forward until he found an empty seat: right next to yours.
Apologizing for being loud and late, he settled into his seat and began to pay attention. The sound of water dripping from his hair onto the page in front of you distracted you, and you offered a beanie of yours for him to wear. He thought you were being kind to him and making sure he didn't catch a cold, but really you just hated the way his hair was dripping everywhere.
He put it on and later the lecture ended. When it did, he immediately took it off to give it back to you, but saw you were gone. You had another class right after that one and had to rush off, which is why you disappeared like that. He tightly clutched the beanie and promised to himself that he would wash it and it to you.
The second meeting:
"Wait! WAIT!" a boy yelled outside the bus, hitting the door with his fist while chasing after it.
The bus, packed with students from campus heading home, stopped for him and let him on. He panted and apologized many times before getting on and pushing through the many people who were standing. They all groaned at him, and even you were getting angry just watching the way he was acting... until he stopped right in front of you.
"Hi! Do you remember me?" he asked you a big smile on his face.
"No...?" you responded, removing your earbuds.
He took some time to open the zipper of his backpack, rummaging through before he found a beanie that looked incredibly familiar to you.
"My beanie?"
The boy nodded, handing it back to you.
"Finally, I get to give it back! Thanks for letting me use it that day."
"No problem!" you said, taking the beanie out of his hands.
"So where is this bus headed anyways?" the boy asked, looking around.
You blinked at him, confused.
"Oh.. I kind of just saw you on this bus and followed you on. I'm not really sure where it's going," he explained, still smiling.
You laughed.
"You got on here just to give this to me?"
The boy nodded, eagerly.
"Well... this bus goes to the west side of the city-"
"Really? Darn.. I live on the east side!"
"Well you might wanna get off and take a bus back then," you advised him
He considered it, but shook his head, no.
"Are you headed home?" he asked instead.
"Nope! To a library near my home to study," you said.
"Well can I tag along?" he asked.
You couldn't say no to his adorable puppy eyes, so you agreed, even though you had planned to study alone.
Confession:
You and Jacob, now a close friend, had finally managed to reserve a spot in a private study room. You entered the space feeling like champions, caressing the comfy chairs and sprawling all over the huge desk, drawing on the whiteboard and prancing around like little kids.
Then, you finally got to work, reviewing materials from your shared class. Jacob was using the whiteboard to complete some calculations, so you didn't think much of it when he asked you to look up at what he'd written.
[y/n], i have something to say!
He hid his face in his arms as you read over his cute, neat writing, blushing when he witnessed your lovely smile.
"What is it, Jacob?" you asked him.
"[y/n]... I like you! Let's date... if you want," he said, smiling.
You smiled back at the boy, nodding.
"Okay, let's do it."
The first date:
After walking around a few music stores as Jacob searched for strings that he could use to replace the snapped ones on his guitar, the two of you stepped inside a café. Strangely enough, your favourite song was playing, and Jacob didn't miss a beat in pointing this out.
"[y/n], you love this song! Should I ask them to play it louder?" he asked, a cheeky grin on his face.
"As if you could ever work up the courage to ask them," you joked.
Jacob huffed and trudged up to the front counter, asking them in the softest voice ever imaginable if they could turn up the volume, which they did. You gave a thumbs up to Jacob when he turned around, dancing to the music that played while Jacob laughed.
After the two of you ordered, Jacob quickly found the best spot and shyly pulled out your chair for you to sit first.
The two of you enjoyed your drinks and snacks while talking about whatever random things came to mind, and Jacob spent the whole day smiling at you and laughing at all of your jokes. Later in the evening when you went for a walk around a park, Jacob took off the beanie he had been wearing and carefully placed it on your head, making sure to cover your ears with it so you wouldn't get cold.
"My hair looks terrible today but you staying warm is more important than my hair," Jacob said with a laugh.
You reached up to ruffle the boy's hair and he tightly shut his eyes, relishing in the feeling of your fingers gently touching his scalp, even if it was for a brief moment.
"You know... we first met because of a beanie, too. When I lended you mine," you said as you walked.
"That's right! Do you think we should get matching beanies sometime?" he asked.
"If we can find something cool, then definitely," you said, reaching for Jacob's hand and holding it in yours.
Jacob walked you to your dorm that night and didn't leave until you shut the door and he could see your light was on. Even then, he still texted you to make sure you were okay and to wish you a good night.

Waking up the day before your birthday was always a little nerve-wracking. You were a little anxious to see if anyone would notice. It wasn’t like you expected a big grand celebration, but you’d been stressing, even a little upset since you asked Bakugou if he would be free the day of, to which he declined.
You were almost certain he knew of your birthday, you know you've at least mentioned it a few times to him, and his mom, who has stated multiple times that she wants to have you over for cake or whatever you’d prefer the weekend of your birthday.
You were about ready to just go celebrate with Bakugou’s parents since they seemed to be the only ones who remembered, the text that had come through earlier in the morning furthering your proof of Mitsuki’s knowledge on your date of birth.
What stung a little more than the fact that Bakugou hadn’t even acknowledged the fact that your birthday was tomorrow, was the way he didn’t even think it was within the week, or even the month.
You wouldn’t have been nearly as upset if maybe he’d guessed the date wrong, but now things were just starting to make you feel upset.
It didn’t feel like something you should be so upset over. You felt a little selfish, wondering why something so small, such as acknowledgment of your birthday from your boyfriend, was bothering you so much.
Deep down, however, you were excited. For your birthday. And the warm feeling of birthday wishes, from anyone, especially your significant other, always felt ten times warm and fuzzier inside.
But you trudged on, went to class, and tried your best to keep a smile on your face. Even during lunch, Kaminari, who seemed to do nothing but run his mouth, was quiet.
Everyone was. It felt, strange.
And now, you were wondering if maybe it was something deeper. Had something changed during the week? Were you not caught up? Why did it feel like everyone at your lunch table despised you, Bakugou leading the group as he barely even looked at you when he was sitting right beside you.
But when the day was over, you didn’t even bother sitting in the commons until most everyone went to bed. You finished your homework early and sat in your dorm, trying to cheer yourself up.
And as the clock passed midnight, you wished yourself a lousy happy birthday before tucking yourself into bed.
Nothing prepared you for what was to come when you woke up.
The ear-deafening alarm on your phone woke you up to nothing. A blank screen. One single notification about a software update on your phone. You hadn’t expected your parents to text you this early, they were probably still in bed.
Their messages came in around the time classes started.
But getting dressed and meeting up with Bakugou, you tried your best to hold your head up high.
“Hey ‘Suki.” You smiled, standing beside him as he slung his bag over his shoulder, getting ready to leave the dorms to head to school.
“Hey.” Was all he said. You nodded and sighed, staring at the ground.
“Today’s gonna be a fun day, don’t ‘cha think?” You tried to hint at the topic but nothing seemed to give.
“What, you think tests in algebra are fun?” It was like a slash to your heart.
“No, it’s my birthday.” You whispered, gathering your things and walking away, walking straight out the door to the school.
Bakugou’s heart stung. In truth, he’d arranged a whole party for you. Everyone was kind of shocked to hear the words ‘I need your help’ come from his tight lips.
He was flustered and trying not to kill Kaminari who was already making fun of him. But he’d arranged the whole thing, planning it out down to a t.
He’d asked for everyone, especially Kaminari not to say anything about it, and he didn’t think much of it. But now his heart hurt, watching you fight back tears as you felt like he’d forgotten, as if everyone had forgotten.
Bakugou wanted to chase you down, pull you into a kiss, and wish you happy birthday, but he didn’t. The surprise would be coming up soon enough.
Sato presented the cake he’d made the night before and everyone was shocked to see how beautiful it looked.
“Oh, she’s gonna love it!” Mina cheered, helping the class pull out some of the decorations.
They’d be tasked with putting up decorations during lunch and after classes let out when Bakugou would keep you in the library for at least another hour.
Bakugou would make it up to you in the end if you still felt upset. But he was counting on this being the best damn birthday surprise, especially since he thought of it.
You were the first one to class. Slumped in your seat, you noticed Present Mic walk in.
“Happy birthday! Would you like a super awesome birthday track played on my show tonight?” Mic was genuinely surprised to see you break down crying after saying something so happy.
“You’re the first person to tell me happy birthday today.” You wiped your eyes, embarrassed to be sappy in front of your teacher.
“Oh, well then an extra special happy birthday! If you’ve got a song you’d like to play, just stop on by the studio!” Mic smile before exiting. You couldn’t think of a song you’d want to broadcast to the entire school on Mic’s radio show but if something came to mind you might just have to stop by, he seemed like he could be pretty fun to party with, if maybe he weren’t your teacher.
The thought of spending your birthday moping alone with one of your teachers didn’t sound at all like the dream you’d had about today.
No, you wanted to be hand-in-hand with your boyfriend talking a walk through a pretty park, or stargazing under the night sky, or spending time at some sort of amusement center with your class, having fun.
But as students piled into the classroom, not a single happy birthday left any of them.
Not even Bakugou who now knew.
Getting through class was about as fun as watching paint dry. But when it was done, everyone rushed out, leaving you confused.
“Where is everyone going?” You asked, stopped by Bakugou who’s hand landed over yours on the top of your desk.
“Hell if I know.” He stared down at you, books in hand.
“You don’t wanna go with them?” You looked away, pulling your hand out from under his.
“Don’t tell me you already forgot.” You mumbled. Bakugou tugged you along to the library, silent the entire way.
Sitting across from him, you didn’t even have a clue as to why you were here, but not even thirty minutes later you were being tugged right back to the dorms.
“What’s your problem?” You stop, about three minutes away from the dorm.
“Huh? The fuck are you talkin’ about?” Bakugou stopped, his hands slung in his pants pockets.
“It’s my birthday Katsuki. And I told you that earlier, and you couldn’t even remember for a couple of hours? Am I that forgettable to you?” You sniffled, staring at him as your eyes began to sting with tears.
“I was busy. Had to focus for all that work.”
“And you still avoid saying it! I just, I just wanted to hear it from you. Is it so selfish of me that I just want to hear my boyfriend tell me happy birthday?” You felt like digging a hole and crawling into it.
With shut eyes, squeezed so tight so you couldn’t see anything, you felt a hand land in yours, fingers intertwining with yours.
A finger under your chin lifted your head up, tear-stained cheeks and all, and a warm pair of cinnamon-tasting lips landed on yours.
“I never forgot, dumbass. I just wanted today to be special.” Bakugou whispered against your lips. Suddenly his free hand landed over your eyes as he tugged you along, your hands now gripping at his arm.
“Hey! Wait, what’s going on?!” You shrieked, confused as you moved unconsciously.
“Just hush for five seconds.” Bakugou sighed, pulling you up to the dorms, shoving you inside.
Removing his hand, Bakugou landed his hand on your shoulder and your eyes opened.
Your once rapidly spinning world was now standing still.
“Happy birthday!!” Your peers cheered. Familiar faces of your classmates, friends from Class 1-B, the Big Three, Eri, even Mr. Aizawa, and All Might were standing there in cheesy party hats.
“Wait...” You sniffled harder, tears now pouring from your eyes.
"Ah, don’t cry, idiot!” Bakugou shook your shoulders from behind you.
“I thought you all forgot! How could I not cry?!” You wiped your eyes with both of your hands, trying not to laugh at yourself.
“You can thank your boyfriend for the party! We were all gonna get you gifts but Bakugou suggested a party!” Kaminari finally blurts out.
“You were all so quiet, because of this party? And it was all your idea?” You turned to Bakugou. He sighed and nodded, crossing his arms over his chest.
You gave him a big hug and pressed a cute kiss to his cheek, earning a few ‘awes’ from some of your peers.
“Thank you. Thank you all.” You tried to stop crying, but it felt impossible. Bakugou just nodded, ushering you to go and give some people hugs.
The festivities lasted pretty much all evening, from opening gifts to eating the delicious cake Sato baked for you.
You had a fun time with everyone, and after thanking everyone for the time, you sought after Bakugou on your way back to your dorm with all of your things.
“I’m sorry. For earlier.” You apologized, feeling a bit embarrassed for seemingly going off on him.
“Don’t be. I’m sorry for acting like a dick. I just wanted to surprise you with the best fuckin’ party.” Bakugou’s intentions weren’t vile, and you couldn’t be mad at him. You shook your head and pulled him into your dorm as you set your things down.
“Can we watch a movie together, and cuddle? I think I could take that as an apology.” You smirk.
“I know you’re not mad. But if that’s what you want.” Bakugou gets into his usual position, under your covers, waiting for you to join him. You stood speechless.
“Wh- I went off on you! Of course I was mad- But- I-” You huff and crawl into your bed beside him.
“You’re not still upset is what I’m trying to say, dumbass. I’m sorry for hurting your feelings.” Bakugou kissed the top of your head. You snuggled into his side and smiled.
“You really planned that whole party just for me?” You looked up at him as he selected a movie to watch.
“I wouldn’t be the best fucking boyfriend if I didn’t.” He said smugly.
“All for you. And I would do it again.” Bakugou glanced down at you.
“Because you deserve it. I love you.” Bakugou mumbled his ‘I love you’ a little softer, but you heard.
“I love you too.” You lean over and peck his lips, smiling as you snuggle into him, ready to unwind after having so much fun.

The Moon Spirit - three
Dorian x reader, Fenrys x reader (throne of glass)
Description: When you’re taught to be a queen from such a young age, nothing could go wrong. But when the king starts to fear your growing power you find yourself thrust into a world of faeries, evil magic and powerful men, learning to stand on your own can be harder than it seems.
warnings: Fenrys being cute, badass reader but like a shit ton of angst, allusions to sexual assualt (Fenrys canon stuff), mentions of weapons? idk if that counts
word count: 4.4k
a/n: so this took a while but it’s finally done, please comment it genuienly keeps me going cause it’s super easy to get unmotivated, hope you enjoy <3
——————————————————————————
After he left you, Fenrys begrudgingly found himself back at the palace, bowed on one knee in front of Maeve. She looked cruelly beautiful as always but there was something more sinister sparkling in her eyes today, remaining quiet as he stood back to his full height, meeting her gaze with wavering confidence.
“Who have you been with?” she finally broke the silence and he cursed himself for thinking he could ever get away with that.
“I just walked a young girl home, she was new, and I was afraid someone may take advantage of her if she was alone,” he spoke truthfully, allowing Maeve to push into his mind as she searched for a hidden lie.
He watched as she drew in a sharp breath, something like fear flickering across her face before her tightly drawn lips spread into a wide smile.
“Come here,” she commanded, and he went to stand in front of her, close enough to smell her sickening perfume and to see the flawless texture of her skin. “Do you love this girl?”
He shook his head, no, and she ran a hand down his face in a motherlike way. “Good, you will be recruiting her.” His eyes widened and he had to put his energy into not flinching away.
“What?” he spoke with an incredulous tone and Maeve glared at his lack of respect making him bow his head. “Sorry your majesty, I’m just slightly confused. She was just a young girl and didn’t seem to have any former training.”
“And that’s why I’m in charge, you men are too foolish. That was a powerful girl, and I would rather she remained on my side than any other.” He frowned, powerful? She had seemed kind, lost and strong enough to hold her own – but not powerful.
“I need you to see her again, convince her to join.” Fenrys physically felt the command go through him and he stood taller again, nodding gruffly as she waved her hand in dismissal.
--
Your first few days of work had been harder than expected, and you had gone home with aching muscles from lifting books and sore cheeks from plastering on smiles. Albert had made your days easier, drinking hot tea with you as you slowly revealed more and more about your past to him, his kind, old eyes lulling you into a comforting state.
But you didn’t receive rest when you got home. Ploughing through books on spirits and practicing using the limited magic you had found until the early hours of the morning, getting barely two hours of sleep a night unplagued by nightmares. By your fifth day Albert had handed you a pot of cosmetic product to hide the circles forming, commenting on scaring the customers away as you stuck your tongue out at him but smearing some on regardless.
On the second Saturday after your arrival you had a day off and used it to venture into the market, your empty shelves no longer sustaining you, let alone Amaris. Your basket soon filled with colourful fruits and vegetables, and you were browsing the fish section when a shadow fell over you.
“Let me take that for you,” you turned to see Fenrys standing over you with that same easy smile, his head tilted slightly. You rolled your eyes, trying to block out the feelings expanding in your chest at just the sight of him.
“And here I thought I had lost you,” you muttered, and he laughed, taking your basket from you, and paying for the wrapped salmon you had just been passed. “You don’t need to do stuff like that,” you told him, and he took your arm as he led you out of the market.
“Can’t help myself, I see a pretty girl in need and boom, I have to help.” He joked and you laughed lightly.
“Oh yeah, the damsel in distress disease, I’ve heard that’s a nasty one to cure,” he smiled down at you with a sparkle in his eyes.
“Not really, all I need is a kiss,” he tugged you closer and you squealed, shoving him away as he laughed.
“As I said, nasty.” He dramatically put a hand to his heart, throwing his head back in distress.
“You wound me darling,” he complained, and you laughed, hating how much you genuinely enjoyed his company. You reached your apartment in no time, and he stood at the bottom of the steps leading up to your door.
“So no invitation of tea, a glass of wine, a home cooked meal?” he asked, and you rolled your eyes,
“I’m afraid I reserve that for people I like,” he raised his eyebrows, hopping up the steps two at a time.
“Even if I have genuine cause to talk to you?” he asked and the sincerity in his eyes made a shot of fear run through you. He couldn’t know, could he?
“What is it?” you asked, and he smiled softly, a little pain shining through his loving eyes.
“The queen has a proposition to make.” His voice quietened and you straightened your posture, your entire demeanour switching in a second.
“Come in.” you opened the door and stepped in, allowing him to duck as he followed.
The first thing he noticed was how barren your apartment was, a simple kitchen, connected to a room with a pale blue sofa and worn coffee table. Your shelves were bare, and he sneaked a look into your room as he passed the open door, your mattress on the floor covered by only a thin blanket and a few cushions, one incredibly expensive looking gold dress on the floor, stained dark red. But before he could venture further in he heard you cooing in an impossibly soft voice.
He turned the corner and blanched at the sight he saw, “What the?”
You turned from were you were feeding small bits of salmon to a pure white bundle of fluff that hissed as soon as it saw him. “Amaris, be polite!” you scalded, and he surveyed the cat with a wary look, untrusting of the small creature.
“You have a cat.” He stated, suddenly completely unsure of his taste in women.
“No he’s actually a spider,” you deadpanned and Fenrys pouted.
“But I thought you’d be a dog person,” he complained, and you laughed, moving to throw open the curtains in the room before you started putting away the food you had bought, boiling a pot of water over your stove.
“I just like animals, why does it matter?” you asked, and he threw his arms up before transforming into his wolf form. You gasped and Amaris meowed loudly, scampering to hide behind your legs.
“You’re a wolf.” You stated and he turned back with a smile.
“No I’m a spider,” you flipped him off as you turned to put the rest of your food away.
“I prefer you as a wolf, they’re one of my favourite animals,” you told him and he smiled, sticking his tongue out childishly at Amaris who just sauntered of to doze on a pillow.
“So, what does the queen want?” you asked, pouring the hot water into a pot you had prepared, and he sat down on your worn-down sofa, cringing as it creaked under his weight. You followed suit soon after putting the pot and two mugs down, curling your feet underneath yourself as you looked at him.
“Well, she has told me that you’re actually extremely powerful and because of this she wants to recruit you. She wants you to join the Cadre.” He spoke surely and confidently but his eyes shone with wariness.
“Okay first of all, I’m not at all powerful, secondly how would she even know if I was, which I’m not! And third, what is The Cadre?” he laughed slightly and moved forward to pour himself a cup of tea.
“Well you clearly are because she recognised you and always knows these things, trust me. She’s never wrong about this. And The Cadre is a group I’m in, elite soldiers sworn to protect Maeve.” He explained and you shook your head.
“Fenrys I barely know basic self-defence, I’m not a soldier. And I don’t want to be sworn to royalty.” Your hands were shaking slightly at the thought of being sworn to another tyrant, “Plus in all honesty I only found out I was Fae on Monday, so I’m not exactly well versed in this shit.”
“How did you not know before?” he asked – frowning.
“The country I… come from, there was no magic. The king wiped all magic out years ago.”
“Why?” It was an understandable question but still made you panic, he couldn’t know.
“I don’t know, all I know is he did, so those alike me – with magic but born into a magicless world – never got to know.” You were good at concealing emotions, that much Fenrys could see. You seemed to have iron walls built into the clouds around your heart, protecting it as fiercely as you would Amaris.
“Well, Maeve wants to meet with you soon, so let me know when you decide gorgeous,” he stood, and you smiled at him gratefully for not prying further.
“I’m really sorry Fenrys I just don’t think it’s a good idea. As I said I’m not a soldier.” He nodded but his eyes still conveyed a sense of worry.
“Well keep in mind you would get to train with me, probably shirtless.” He joked as you opened the door for him, grinning when you laughed loudly, shoving him through the door.
“Bye Fenrys,” you said, eyes sparkling as he waved, whistling his way down the street comically.
You closed the door as your smile fell, a weight settling on your chest as you already knew why he looked so wary – Kings and Queens didn’t understand the word no.
--
You practically ran to the library the next day, opting to bring Amaris with you as he peeked out of the small handbag you had found stuffed into the back of your closet. When you flew into the library you instantly sought out Albert, who took one look at your flushed, shining appearance and abandoned the pile of books he was putting away, motioning for you to sit down.
You sat quickly, huffing out a breath as Amaris crawled out of his makeshift home and started exploring the new territory of the small backroom reserved for staff only.
“What bothers you child?” Albert’s voice was steady as always and his dry, warm hands grasped yours gently as your eyes filled with unshed tears.
“I just – I needed to talk to someone,” you stuttered out, your breath coming in harsher pants as he shushed you.
“Take a minute and allow yourself to breathe first dear,” he commanded, and you pressed a hand to your heart as you tried to slow its pounding. “Start from the beginning, tell me what’s wrong.”
“The man I loved, his- his name was Dorian, Dorian Havilliard.” You said quietly and Albert let out a small chuckle.
“I presumed as much, I visited Adarlan once, and an old man never forgets the face of a princess.” You looked at him through blurry eyes, confused.
“You knew?” he smiled sadly at you.
“I was 90% certain, but I would never have pressured you to reveal secrets like that.” He passed you a tissue, “But I sense that’s not all that weighs heavy on you?”
You shook your head, “Queen Maeve has made clear that she wishes me to join the Cadre.”
Albert’s face changed with the clear shock, and you bowed your head, shamefully.
“And what did you say?” he asked slowly.
“No, of course! I don’t have any desire to be another monarch’s puppet.” You stated and he shushed you again.
“You need to remember that people always listen.” He scolded, repeating one of the first things he had told you when you started working. “I agree that you should be cautious, but perhaps gaining the queens protection would be beneficial. Plus you would become an extremely skilled swordsman.”
“I am not a man, nor do I wish to be.” You said through gritted teeth, “And I vowed that I would become skilled on my own and go back to Dorian.”
“Yes but if you join, you will be more skilled than ever before,” Albert reasoned and you shook your head, tears welling up again.
“I thought you’d be on my side for this, you are the one who told me to be careful around powerful people.” You felt unjustly betrayed as he spoke and his shoulders slumped slightly, sighing before grasping your hands lightly again.
“I am dear, and I urge you to do what you think is best. But I am simply reminding you that if you truly want to beat this king you are being offered power on a silver platter right now, and perhaps it would be foolish to deny yourself it.” You let his words run around your head as you worked overtime trying to figure out a plan.
“Say I joined – what do I need to do to ensure I don’t become another puppet?” you asked, and he smiled at you.
“First of all, she will offer a blood oath and you must refuse it with everything you have in you – she came to you remember you hold the power. On that note you must summon all those queenly powers of yours and ensure when you speak to her, she is meeting you and she is trying to win you over. Never the other way around.” You nodded, pocketing the information in your head. “When in the palace you are always being watched, always being listened to, so keep your wits about you. But I’m sure you’re used to that by now.”
You laughed under your breath, “It’ll be just like going home,” you commented, and he smiled.
“Sadly yes, now take this money. Go but a new dress and tomorrow you will take a carriage, you can’t walk there.” You thanked him softly, placing the gold in the purse you held, “You’re a kind girl, that is what makes you strong and that’s what will make you a good queen. Don’t let them take your heart.”
Your throat tightened and you nodded due to the lack of trust you held for your voice, standing, and collecting your bag in one hand and Amaris in the other. Albert stood to take you to the door with a smile, and a gentle pat on the shoulder.
“You can have tomorrow off work as well, however I feel our work together is already coming to an end.” You smiled softly, allowing him to pet Amaris’ head softly before he kissed your cheek gently, ushering you out the door.
“Have a good night Albert,” you said, turning to see him watching you with sorrowful eyes.
“Remember what I told you dear, don’t let them take your heart.” Your smile was sad as you spoke,
“I won’t.” You both heard the lie but, neither of you decided to correct it. Not tonight.
--
Of all the things Fenrys expected to see the next morning, you were the one he hoped for. But as he looked around at the powerful men surrounding the room he felt white-hot panic seize him as he realised what you were about to do. You hadn’t even looked at him when you walked in, keeping your eyes trained solely on Maeve, not even dropping them as you dropped in a low curtsy.
He was even more shocked by the blood red dress you adorned, the v-neck deep and skirts long with a slit up either leg, high enough to reveal the halter you wore with a silver dagger and a ruby encrusted hilt secured into place. Every man, woman and mouse watched as you walked through the room – head high and shoulders back, revealing enough to entrance everyone in the room but covering enough to keep them wanting more and he felt his anger grow as he watched you.
You waited with a soft, but condescending, smile on your face, allowing Maeve to regrasp some power by speaking first – every movement so calculated and precise. As he watched you he saw the power and understood the fear and lust building in the room.
“So I guess you heard my offer.” Maeve finally said, drawling low with relaxed posture.
“I did.” Your statement was short, to the point but you saw it grate Maeve’s nerves and smiled as sweet as spun sugar, “Your majesty.”
“And?” he watched as Maeve grew more agitated and was surprised she hadn’t killed you yet, usually not standing for even an ounce of insubordination.
“I am willing to accept on one condition – I’m not taking a blood oath.” He had to fight jumping in the air with glee as you spoke, so afraid you were going to get tangled in the mess he was in. Maeve’s face grew dark, but you held your ground, never letting your eyes stray lest she see your weakness.
“Well that’s simply not viable,” she stated, glaring you into the ground but you just smiled again, nodding with a polite laugh.
“I see, well this was a lovely meeting, gentlemen.” You raised your hand politely as you moved to leave, your eyes finally flittering over him and the rest of the cadre. You bowed once again to Maeve, making to leave when Maeve raised her hand.
“We are not finished.” She stated.
“Well I’m terribly sorry your majesty but I’ve made my terms extremely clear, and since you refuse to budge - I believe we are done.” Your voice was still sweet, but he watched your face change slightly, every bit a queen looking down upon her people. He couldn’t help but wonder were you learned to speak this way, but Maeve simply laughed.
“Yet here you are,” she spoke with a mocking tone, and you smiled with your teeth this time.
“Need I remind you that you sought me out, if I have terms it should be in your best interest to meet them if you wish me to join your miniature army.” Fenrys heard Lorcan snarl lowly next to him but gripped his arm in warning.
“Oh your training is impressive princess, but I’m afraid it will be of no use.” Your face didn’t budge as Maeve spoke, but Fenrys watched as something flickered through your eyes, “You see, I learn of misdemeanours in other courts very easily and I wish to show you what I learned of Adarlan.”
“There’s nothing you could show me that I won’t have seen before,” you said, and he watched the two of you laugh like you were mingling at a party instead of standing of in a court.
“Oh I’m afraid this is relatively new, you might reconsider your terms after this,” you stood straight as Maeve walked down the steps and moved to whisper something the rest of them couldn’t hear in your ear, her hand pressed lightly to the base of your neck.
She pulled away after a few minutes and he took in your now shaking hands, eyes filled with tears you clearly refused to let fall. You took in a steadying breath before speaking, “You’re lying.”
“Oh I wish I was princess, but I can only show the truth and it appears your prince had moved on rather quickly, what use is there going back to a country where you can no longer rule.” She stroked your hair condescendingly and you chewed the inside of your lip as it quivered. “But here, here – under my control – you have power of your own. Men will no longer hold onto you like a prized pony, you will become something they fear, you will be my perfect princess, the daughter I never got to have.”
Fenrys inhaled sharply, he knew Maeve never planned to relent the throne, especially not to a woman from another country. She looked at you like you were a doll, something for her to reshape and change. You must have seen it to, but through your blurry eyes everything had changed.
“Okay,” your voice was smaller than before, and he wanted to tear Maeve limb from limb for having broken you down so harshly with just a few words. She smiled cruelly at you as she cut a small line along her forearm and you bowed your head in pain, before falling to your knees – graceful even as pain consumed your entire being. You brought your lips to her wound and drank as she repeated the words that he remembered all too well.
When you rose your lips were sparkling red, and your eyes were glistening with tears still unshed – but you raised your head like a queen and Maeve smiled.
“I believe you have already met Fenrys, he will be training you as the training you have received is not proficient, I’ll have all your belongings brought to a room here.” Maeve waved her hand to some guards, but you stopped her.
“I only need Amaris brought here; the rest can burn.” You muttered.
“And for your new wardrobe?” She asked and you smiled looking down, wiping your mouth slowly.
“Make it red.” You finally met Fenrys eyes, and he stepped forward, desperate to drag you far, far away.
“Shall I escort her to her new room?” he asked Maeve and she flitted her eyes to him, then to the hand he had pressed to your back.
“Yes and then afterword’s come find me,” she smiled cruelly at him, and he felt you stiffen under his hand, but he just nodded and began to lead you out of the room.
He led you through the corridors and up the stairs in silence, angry at you for accepting and at himself for not putting up more of a fight. When he reached the room he presumed would be yours he opened the door for you, following you in as you sat on the bed, your usual lightness replaced by the weight on your shoulders.
He watched you bow your head and came to sit beside you, “I’m sorry.”
“You don’t have to apologise; this was my choice.” You said and he reached an arm around your shoulders, but you quickly shrugged him off.
“I shouldn’t, we shouldn’t, if you and the queen are…” you trailed off and Fenrys bowed his head in shame.
“It’s not like that, she, she makes me,” he muttered, and you inhaled sharply, turning to him with those watery eyes.
“I had no idea, I’m sorry,” you whispered, instantly looping your arms around him neck and holding him tight. “She’s a monster.”
Fenrys huffed a laugh, pulling away, “You’re telling me.”
He reached a hand for your face slowly, wiping under your eyes where a tear had escaped, “how did she change your mind?” he asked, dark eyes searching your face for clues as your bottom lip quivered in pain.
“She showed me home,” was all you said, and his shoulders dropped. He would leave it for now, you were young and clearly not ready to speak – and now, they had all the time in the world to speak.
“Sleep tight, training starts at seven tomorrow,” he stood and kissed your head lightly and you nodded, words getting caught in your throat. He left quietly, walking away as quickly as he could to avoid hearing the soft sobs that erupted as soon as he closed the door.
--
You could barely contain your tears until you got to your room, repeating rule thirteen over and over in your head, crying in public is only appropriate at funerals and weddings. But as soon as Fenrys left your room you sobbed into your hands, wailing, and crying like a child throwing a tantrum as you let out the emotions, the screams that have been locked inside of you for so long.
You had done everything for Dorian, changed every part of yourself and become the perfect princess, girlfriend, fiancé – and he, mere weeks after you had to run, was already moving onto a new girl.
As hard as you tried you couldn’t get rid of the image of him and the blonde girl out of your head. How he kissed her softly, his hand on her lower back where it always used to rest on yours. The smile when he pulled away, the way he laughed with her, the way Chaol smiled at his brother when he was happy. You had been forgotten, replaced, almost instantly, the warmth you used to feel when you thought of home, of your princes’ arms replaced by a tight chest and a cold feeling encompassing your heart.
“I’m sorry Albert,” you whispered into the air as you stood looking out on your balcony, gripping tightly to the rail as you feared your legs would give out, “She already took it.”
You were interrupted by a quiet knock on your door, wiping your eyes as you opened it – taking Amaris from the tall guards’ hands as a flurry of women pushed in, filling your drawers with clothes and cosmetics, candles and hair pins, books and plants, a million supplies for Amaris and then some. You smiled politely at them as they left without saying a word, in and out extremely quickly as you stared at a knot in the floor.
Another knock sounded soon after and you turned your head to see one of the Cadre staring in with piercing green eyes. You motioned for him to come in and stood, tilting your head up to meet his gaze as he took in your messy, tear-stained expression.
“You’re the first female member of the Cadre, ever.” He stated and you blinked slowly.
“Lucky me,” your tone was sarcastic, voice rough from the crying but the man smiled.
“I’m Rowan, it’s good to meet you.” He reached out a hand and you met it, allowing him to kiss the back gently.
“(Y/n)” you returned, with a slight curtsey.
“I look forward to fighting with you (y/n),” he stated, releasing your hand and turning to leave, stopping right before he reached the door, “Oh, and don’t lose that dagger, you’ll find a shocking number of men dislike powerful women.”
“First I’m hearing of this,” you deadpanned, and he chuckled.
“Goodluck kid.”

Share my infinite (Agatha x Fem!reader) Part 2
A/N: This is long, guys. But i didn't want to do two parts for this, since i still have to do another one for the reader's recovery. Also, I have a huge headache, so forgive any mistakes.
Anyway, i hope you like it! ^ - ^
Tumblr media
You ran as fast as you could, voices screaming with rage behind you. They will kill you.
“Shit” you growled when you tripped with a branch. You got up quickly and continued running, but that second was enough for the dogs to come closer to you. Those stupid dogs and their stupid owners, why couldn’t they leave you alone?! You didn’t do anything to them and yet they were hunting you, just because of your “family”.
“I don’t even have the last name” you mumbled.
You were part of a rich family that was respected among the people of your town, but you were never a part of it. You were the odd one, the freak, the mistake. You were the only one that inherited your grandfather's...condition.
At some point in the family’s story, someone thought it was cool and a good idea messing up with dark magic and ended up marrying a vampire, condemning the entire lineage to fear for the purity of their blood. By the time you were born, that was just a legend, something the parents told their childs to make them behave.
“Y/N, stop doing that” your mother would say. “It must be the vampire in her” your father would add.
You were a pretty curious girl, which led to many misbehaviours, so you heard that phrase too often.
“Wish something really hard and it will become a reality” you thought with sarcasm.
When you were 8, the nightmare began. You had just lost your baby teeth and your new ones were appearing. Your parents thought it was cute, but then, your new fangs came and they screamed in horror. They were too long to be normal. They were like your grandfather’s. They were vampire’s fangs.
At first, they tried to pull them out, it hurted like hell, but they didn’t move. So, your parent’s kept you hiden, not even the rest of the family could see you (you would later hear that they didn’t want to). The only person that you were allowed to interact with, was the grandfather himself. He was actually your great great great great great great grandfather, but allowed you to call him Grandpa or Grandfather. Your parents decided that you were no longer their daughter, so he gave you his last name. His real one.
He was sweet and nice with you, teaching you how to retract your fangs and everything he knew about your condition. He told you that you shouldn’t worry, that it was something that happened every generation. Your uncle Nicholás had it too, so it wasn’t anything you couldn’t control.
What he didn’t tell you was that uncle Nick was burned alive for it.
You weren't a full vampire, you only had a few remnants of vampire blood in your veins. Grandpa was sure that, with every generation that had the condition, it became weaker and weaker, so he had faith that you would be the last one to have it. And he was right.
You were the last one. None of your nephews or nieces got it, nor their children or grandchildren or great grand children. You were there for the babies’ births, and for their deaths too. Generations came and went, but you remained the same. You stopped aging at 22, and were trapped like that ever since. Your grandfather died long after your great grand nephews did, but it proved that you were not eternal.
As the years passed, you became kind of a myth among the family, the maiden who didn't age. The ghost of the library. The shadow of the house. Generation after generation, you became just another part of the family heritage, something that came with being part of the Van Dales. Everyone treated you like another decoration.
Until now.
These new people (you had stopped thinking of the new generations as your family long ago) decided it wasn’t fair that you got to enjoy all the money while they had to die. It was a stupid argument, but that didn’t matter. You knew they just wanted to get rid of you. And that’s what they did.
They spread the word around the town, that whoever brought your head to them would be rewarded with part of the family treasure. You barely had time to grab a small bag with your belongings (the ones you had since you were a child) before you were carried out of the house and into the woods.
They didn't tell you why, just to wait and they left you there. A few minutes later you heard the footsteps of the people and a man saying that he would be the one to kill you and claim the reward.
You started running in that very second.
“don’t change, don’t change, don’t change” you begged, feeling your eyes burning.
One of the things that you learnt the hard way was that when you were in danger, your e/c eyes would change to dark red, and then you would go into a frenzy. That meant you would become a murder machine, and you didn’t want that even if it was your last hope.
“Of all the things I got from the vampires, why couldn't it be super speed?” you thought as you heard the men coming closer. Your legs were burning and your lungs were about to explode.
You weren’t paying much attention, so you didn’t notice the air changing nor the energy around you. You needed to escape.
You tripped again and you cursed. But you couldn't hear the dogs or the men anymore. You lost them? How? They were right behind you, there was no chance that you could have lost them.
But you needed to rest so you weren't complaining at all. It didn't last for too long.
You heard a leaf crushing and steps close to you. You stood up quickly and prepared to run again, but something stopped you. You couldn't move, as if your feet were glued to the earth.
"Well, well. What do we have here?" A voice said behind you. You froze and your eyes started to burn again. The person walked around you and you saw the most beautiful woman ever. Her eyes and hands were glowing with a purple light and suddenly you understood why you couldn’t move. She was a witch.
Your grandfather taught you about witches, saying that, just like you, they were usually misunderstood, and that you shouldn’t be afraid of them. Even if you ever meet an evil witch, the vampire blood in you would protect you. The fact that her magic had an effect on you, meant that she actually didn’t want to hurt you.
"Aren't you a precious little thing?” she asked and you couldn’t help but notice how lovely her voice was. “What are you doing here, darling?”
You opened your mouth but closed it again. There was so much to explain but words didn’t come to you at the moment. You remained silent for a few moments before trying to speak again.
“I- I escaped” you whispered, making the woman raise her eyebrow.
“escaped? from what?” she asked, stepping closer to you.
“Men” you simply said. Her presence was making you nervous and you felt your cheeks blushing.
Your answer seemed to be enough for her and she nodded, unwrapping you from her magic. You noticed her eyes turned to an ice blue color and you gasped. They were the most beautiful eyes you’ve ever seen.
“What’s your name?” she asked.
“Y/N”
“Y/N” she repeated and your heart jumped a little. You loved the way your name sounded in her voice. “Come with me” she said and started walking. You blinked and stood there for a moment before you quickly followed her. You didn’t know her, but it was this witch or the hunters.
They didn’t have beautiful blue eyes or a lovely voice. So the choice was easy.
She took you to a small cabin, surrounded by big trees and a little pond on the side. You blinked and blushed as she opened the door for you. The simple interior made you feel warm and protected. She saw you wandering around the room, watching her things carefully, not touching anything but being interested in them.
You noticed her smile and stopped walking, taking a step back. She was staring at you as if you were her prey, which, to be fair, might be the case.
“Didn’t anyone tell you that you don’t follow strangers into their houses, love?” she finally asked after a long moment of just staring at you.
Agatha was intrigued by you. You shouldn't be here. You shouldn’t have been able to pass the barrier she put around her house, not even other witches could do it. But most importantly, you shouldn’t be standing there as if you were comfortable in her presence. As if you weren’t afraid of her.
“I’ve been living with strangers for a long time” you said honestly and shrugged “i guess i’m not afraid of them anymore”
That made Agatha even more curious. She walked to you and locked eyes with you. You were a little surprised by it, but you didn’t look away.
“You’re like me” she said softly, and you shrugged again.
“I guess so?”
The witch didn’t want to have high hopes, but she had been alone for almost 200 years now and the possibility of having some company was enough to let you stay some days. At least until she discovered more about you and how much power you had.
_________
“Don't” Agatha warned you, not lifting her eyes from her book “whatever you’re thinking, don’t”
You giggled and ignored her “I’m not doing anything, Aggie” you lied and she sighed.
She was about to turn around to see what you were planning, when she felt your cold hands in the back of her neck, making her jump.
“Y/N!!!” she yelled and you laughed, watching her shivering.
“Got ya!” you said when she turned to face you
“Those are ice! Are you sure you’re not dead?” she asked with sarcasm and fake anger, but the blush on her cheeks gave her away.
“Could be. I haven’t checked my pulse today” you joked and she chuckled.
You had been living with her for a year, and she had fallen head over heels for you. You were sweet, charming, always had a smile on your beautiful face and you were always finding ways to make her laugh. You were kind and loving towards her, making her loneliness fade away.
But you were also naughty as hell.
You loved making pranks, jokes and chaos. She was your favorite target, but it was something almost innocent, nothing that a child couldn’t do (a part of her knew it was because you were forced to grow up too quickly, so you were just doing what you wanted to do back then), but that benevolence didn’t extend to other people.
Your pranks and jokes were anything but innocent when the targets were people from the town near the forest. It made sense, because they were the same people that tried to kill you a year ago. But you once told her that you actually just enjoyed causing chaos, which made her fall in love with you even more. She loved being by your side whenever you caused something among the humans. It was a magnificent artwork, a chaotic, kind of evil, maniac, artwork. And it had both of your signaments in the corner.
She was so lost in her thoughts that she didn’t notice you talking to her. When you looked at her and saw that you had lost her at some point, an evil grin appeared on your face. Well, you were not a person that decline opportunities.
Agatha gasped when you pushed her to the pond.
“Y/N!!!!” she yelled again and you laughed harder.
“That’ll teach you not to ignore me when I’m trying to declare my love for you, Harkness” you joked and walked to the house.
The witch sighed as she stood and used her magic to dry herself. That has been your most cruel joke to this day.
When she met you, she assumed you were a witch. You crossed her barrier, after all, so you must be a powerful one. But when she tried to steal your magic when you were asleep, she sensed it was too weak, she could barely call it magic at all.
That confused her so much. How did you cross then? This amount of magic was not enough to do it. The next day, she confronted about it and you just blinked.
“You think i’m a witch?” you asked before you giggled “I’m a vampire” you said and left her speechless.
You taught her everything you knew about your condition, but it wasn’t too much since your family just wanted you to hide yourself. So she tried to learn everything she could about vampires. You frowned and said that if she was going to learn about your kin, then you wanted to learn about hers.
And just like that, your lessons started. The first days, you two sat at the table with a pile of books in front of you, but that plan disappeared the moment you saw her stretching to make her back more comfortable. You took the books and threw them on the floor, making Agatha gasp, then you took her hand and made her lie beside you on the wood. You’ve never used chairs for study or reading since then.
The joke started when she started to teach you some tricks. They were pretty simple and basic, but she loved the look in your face when you got one of them right. One day, you were so happy to finally do a spell you were trying for weeks, that you kissed her cheek with excitement and her mind went blank, her cheeks burning. You noticed it and never let her live with it.
Since then, you would make comments or do things that made her believe you might feel the same, but then you would just laugh and leave her with a hole in her chest.
“Aggie?” you asked softly. You had noticed that she didn’t follow you and after a moment, you went out again to make sure she was okay. You frowned when you saw her just standing there, lost in her thoughts.
You carefully took her hand and she jumped, looking at you.
“Are you ok?” you asked and she nodded, removing her hand from yours.
“I’m fine, Y/N” she said and your frown deepened. She never used that tone with you. The “I have something in my mind but you wouldn’t understand so let’s pretend i’m alright” tone. You took her face in your hands and made her lock eyes with you.
“Don’t lie to me” you whispered
Agatha stared at you for a moment before she sighed. She couldn’t. She always thought she was strong enough to lie to everyone, to take what she needed and do what she wanted. But you, you made her weak. And she would do anything for you. Even expose her heart and let you break it.
“Please don’t do it” she said “please don’t make jokes about your love for me. Not when we both know you don’t mean it.”
You frowned again in confusion, but when you understood her words, you blushed and felt your pulse racing.
“Who said i don’t mean it?” you asked softly, caressing her cheek.
“NO!” Agatha said, more harsh than she intended “Don’t do it Y/N.” she said, whispering again “Please. Don’t give me false hopes. I can’t take it” she begged and you felt guilt invading you.
You had been making those jokes because they were the only way you could get your own feelings out of your chest without actually risking your friendship with the witch. If you had known she felt the same way…
Agatha gasped when she felt your lips against hers. She wasn’t expecting this, but she had been wanting to do it for so long that she took the opportunity. She wrapped her arms around your waist and pulled you closer to her. Your lips were too soft and she would be happy to lose herself in them.
“I’m sorry” you whispered when you broke the kiss “I’m sorry i didn’t tell you before”
That made her open her eyes. There was a silent question in them, and only your own eyes had the answer.
You kissed her again, and again, and again, wanting to erase all the doubts you accidentally planted in her mind. Each kiss was an apology and a promise. No words were needed at that moment.
