12/13: what is the longest/shortest fic you've read?

okay this one is. ok. so i have 23 pages of ao3 history from this year alone and i am Not going through all those to figure this out but i WILL send some of my favorite long and short fics i've read this year :]

LONG fics:

The Only Way Out Is Down by Avelera :: (includes NSFW content) incredible. amazing. showstopping. fix it fics for uprising drive me batshit and insane /pos i LOVED the thing with dantes inferno and the seven circles of hell like WHAT. UGHFNGN

The Limits Of Reason by kingfindekano :: yes another uprising fix it. i am not apologizing because this one is also good as hell. made me feel very very many feelings. [falls face down on the floor]

Compositions by Bitmeddler :: (includes NSFW content) just finished this one earlier today! it dives into exactly what went on with hermann and newt both pre-cannon and during the first movie and im SUPER SUPER a fan of it. especially loved the bits with the black velvet rabbits, was super reminiscent of a comfort fic from my previous fandom special interest which made me very happy as well!!

SHORT fics:

Jackpot by notastranger :: SO cute im rolling on the floor. its a newmann version of that one video of the guy coming out of amnesia and hitting on his wife (you know the one) and i am a fan

Over The Pacific (series) by tankotic :: alright so this one is an it's always sunny crossover but im in fucking love with the premise so i am shoving it at you. hi <3 they're all really good but if i had to choose one i'd say take a look at Establishing Contact :]

Nothing To Report by Midnightdemonht :: absolutely soul rending. 10/10 i immediately remembered why i avoid angst most days

The Library by OfficialStarsAndGutters :: Made me smile. i have nothing else to say

Ravished by the Vampire Highwayman by buckgaybarnes :: (contains NSFW content) here you were thinking i wouldn't include any of maria's fanfiction in this list. i dare say that's unavoidable. this one was REALLY funny and i very much enjoyed it <3

PLUS some extra favorites. this is getting long but idc idc shut up.

Mariposa by janewestin :: (24k words) i frothed at the mouth over this one so look at it now :] it's a westworld crossover and while i have never seen westword, UFHGNGNN. would reccomend
