when actress!reader and drew met for the first time
𝜗𝜚 ࣪˖ ִ𐙚 ────୨ৎ──── it's your first time in LA, so when your new friend madelyn cline invites you to a club in downtown LA with the rest of her obx castmates, who are you to decline.
𝜗𝜚 pairing: actress!reader x drew starkey
author’s note: this takes place in mid-2024 after the filming of obx 4 wrapped.
you stared at your reflection in the luxurious bathroom mirror, your makeup was light and your hair was straightened and open. yet you felt a bit like that saying 'a pig in makeup.' dressed in a sheer, white, long-sleeve top, a black lace bra underneath, clearly showing through, and black shorts paired with itno biker boots. your fingers, filled with chrome heart rings, sliver earrings of various jewellery brands covering your ears, yet your neck is still bare.
you sigh heavily, being racked with anxiety like this before going out was common for you. there was a reason you barely left your london home except for work. and now, here in LA for the first time and without mimi, your best friend who is the polar opposite of you and the only person who is capable of making you feel calm in these situations, you feel as though you are going to make a fool out of yourself. it's not like you don't want to meet madelyn and the rest of the obx cast, you really do, and you want to make a good impression which is why your anxiety feels worse than normal. the world sees you as this confident enigma, but only you experience this feeling of dread weighing down on your chest that tells you that you aren’t capable of more difficult roles, that you don’t deserve the fame and love given to you, that you aren’t hardworking or beautiful enough, that if people saw the real you, they would hate what they see. this feeling, this voice is the reason you’re so recluse.
but before you can spiral any further your phone rings. madelyn's name lights up the screen. you pick up, clearing your throat, trying to settle the shake in your voice to hide your nervousness. "hi, maddie" you can hear the smile on her face through her response. "hi, y/n!! are you ready? i'm on the way to your hotel, i'll be there in like 10 minutes." the excitement in her voice eases your anxiety. maddie had dmed you on instagram a few months ago after seeing an interview of yours where you named outer banks as the show you watch during your free time while filming and since that moment the two of you became fast friends. so when you told her you were going to be in LA for the first time for work, she enthusiastically invited you to come hang out with her and her castmates. "yea, i'm ready, i'll come down to the lobby." you end the call and then rush around the room grabbing your bag and filling it with everything you may need, before giving your face and outfit a final check in the mirror before making your way to the lobby.
madelyn texted you that her car was parked outside the entrance when you reached the lobby and the hotel staff let you know that there was no paparazzi outside so you walked outside where madelyn’s driver had the backseat door open for you, you thanked him and hoped into the car and he walked back to the drivers seat and and started driving. madelyn’s smiling face greeted you. “hi, wow you look fucking stunning. it’s so good to finally meet you!” you gave her a bright smile in return. “thank you, you look unreal, and yes it’s so good to finally meet you too!” you gave her a tight hug. “fuck, y/n what perfume do you use, you smell amazing.” “aw, thank you! it’s the kayali vanilla one, babes.” madelyn laughed “what?” you gave her a confused laugh “ the ‘babes’ you’re so british!” you laughed and nodded “i forget that there’s terms we use that aren’t common here.”
madelyn pulled out her phone and started checking something, so you took the time to look out the window and take in LA during the night. “ok so chase is there, so is laci, madison, jd, austin and drew.” you felt your breath hitch at the mention of his name. “drew’s there?” madelyn gave you a knowing smirk. “yea, he’s coming.” you raised a brow. “what was that smirk for?” she shrugged and gave you a downward smile “you’ll see.” before you could question her further, the car came to a stop in front of the club. “we’re here miss cline.” madelyn’s driver spoke up from his seat and then stepped out of the car coming around and opening the door for the both of you, you hopped out first and thanked him and waited while madelyn got out. she thanked him and then he drove off.
madelyn interlocked your hands together “excited?” you laughed at her excitement. “yea, let’s get a shot in me.” the atmosphere of the club was electric, the people around you were dancing and having the time of their lives. seeing everyone around you, you felt the anxiousness start to melt from your body. madelyn was looking around to find her friends her hand still holding yours. “oh! i see them! let’s go!” she dragged you behind her, coming to a stop at the end of the table. everyone greeted you with bright smiles “guys! this is y/n. but you all already know that” she said in a singsong voice. “we’re all big fans of you.” you smiled shyly with everyone’s attention on you. “hi.” you gave a little wave. your eyes immediately locked with drew’s, even sitting down he towered over everyone. you felt your breathe hitch and your limbs numb. you were suddenly pulled into hugs one by one by everyone else, you muttered greetings but it felt like an out of body experience as your eyes refused to stray from drew’s.
drew felt like he couldn’t breathe, he had spent so many months dreaming of this moment when he would finally see you in person. and all he could think was that the screen could never do justice to you. your energy, your beauty in real life was unmeasurable. “hi, i’m drew.” you smiled at him, a saccharine smile that made his heart stutter. “i know.” you took a seat next to him on the table while austin and jd went to get shots for the table “so y/n, what do you think of LA?” madison asked “it’s quite different to london.” you laughed. you were having trouble focusing as drew’s thigh kept bumping into yours the size of his one leg, bigger than both of yours. you thought about how badly you wanted him to use his size and strength against you. if he would throw you and bend you to his will, you clenched your thighs together at the thought.
jd and austin returned with the shots and everyone’s energy immediately skyrocketed. you all grabbed a shot. “let’s have a good fucking night! whoo!!” chase yelled and you all clinked your glasses and downed your drinks. everyone winced but you weren’t phased “what!! how did you not feel that!” austin yelled over the music that had somehow gotten louder. “that was straight tequila!” you shrugged with a smug smile on your face “i’m british, darling, you americans can’t keep up!” you laughed. drew beside you, had a look on his face that was somehow both impressed and turned on. “oh my god! i fucking love this song.” you exclaimed beginning to feel the alcohol travel through your system taking with it the inhibitions that often consumed you. “dance with me?” madelyn asked and you nodded your head. she grabbed your hand but before she could drag you behind her you turned your head and mouthed to drew “watch me.”
drew’s throat felt constricted, his pants were becoming impossibly tight. you were grinding on madelyn and he couldn’t take his eyes off of you. you’re mesmerising and he had to have you. it felt as though time had slowed down and the two of you were the only people in the crowded club. “come on man, let’s go dance.” jd clapped drew on the shoulder. he got up and began making his way to the centre of the dance floor, his eyes still locked on you.
your eyes were closed and you were completely lost in the music when you felt madelyn whisper in your ear from behind. “drew’s walking over, don’t tell him i told you this, but he’s into you.” your eyes snapped open but before you could question her, drew was standing in front of you, towering over everyone in the club. everyone else present faded away as you took in his presence. he leaned down to whisper in your ear. “wanna dance on me like that?” you giggled. “you wish.” he smirked down at you. the alcohol you had consumed throughout the night made you bold and carefree and you used it’s effects on you to the fullest. you wrapped your arms around his neck and he brought his hands to your waist. one of his hands covered the entirety of the small of your back.
drew’s head felt dizzy, you smelt so good he wanted to drag his tongue across every inch of the surface of your body. he leaned down to your neck inhaling the scent of your perfume and pheromones. “fuck, you smell amazing.” you smirked “yeah? want a taste?” drew threw his head back his adam’s apple bobbing as he swallowed. “fuck, y/n, don’t say shit like that.” you leaned up on your tippy toes so that you could whisper in his ear. “why not?” you came back down so that you could gaze back up at him, your eyes big and wide, innocent, like you weren’t thinking all the disgusting things you wanted him to do to you. “you don’t wanna fuck me, drew?”
you giggled as you unlocked the door to your hotel room, drew, hot on your heels. as soon as the door was open drew picked you up and you giggled drunkenly wrapping your legs around his waist and your arms around his neck. drew’s hands came to grip on your thighs squeezing at the flesh as he devoured your lips with his, teeth and tongue clashing. you moaned into the kiss, your hands scratching at his buzzed head. drew reached out behind you and pushed the door shut. the sound of it echoing through the room but the both of you couldn’t care less. your lace panties were soaked all the way through and you could feel his cock straining through his pants, drew broke the kiss. “you feel what you do to me, baby?” you hummed in agreement already feeling fucked out even though he hadn’t even properly touched you yet “been hard from the moment i saw you walk through the door.”
“need you so bad, drew” you whined, not even caring if you sounded desperate, he was more desperate than you anyway. “yeah? need me that bad, baby? need me in that pretty little pussy?” you nodded, biting your lip “wanna be full of you.” drew groaned “fuck, you trying make cum in my pants y/n?” you giggled. drew began to make his way to the bed, with you still in his arms. he dropped you onto the plush bed and you bounced on the mattress. “are you sober enough to do this? cause i don’t want you to regret this in the morning.” you shook you head frantically. “no, i want you, i’m just tipsy, i told you i have a high tolerance.” he laughed, a low rumble that caused your core to flutter. “that you did, baby.” you spread your legs open to make room for him and he began to unzip your boots and pull off your socks before kicking off his own shoes.
drew kneeled on the edge of the bed, leaning down to attach himself to your neck, biting, licking, and sucking at the skin. your moans were breathy, almost sigh like at the feeling of his lips. his hands brushed at your waist, tugging at the hem of your sheer top. “let me see you.” he pulled the top off, messing up your hair as it went over your head. he then moved to your shorts tugging them down your legs, leaving you in your matching black, lace bra and black, lace thong. “fuck, you’re unreal, i can’t believe you’re here right now.” you giggled at his words. “you’re sweet.” he chuckled and he leaned back down to kiss you. “yeah? i’m sweet, baby?” “mhmm.” you nodded as he connected your lips together again. you kissed him back with ferocity. tugging his bottom lip with your teeth, your hands stroked his covered chest, and you broke the kiss, your lips still so close that you could feel his breath on your face. “take off your clothes.”
drew groaned and his face dropped into your neck, before he stood up off the bed and pulled his shirt over his head, moving to his pants unbuttoning them and then pushing them down his legs, leaving him in just his boxers. your mouth hung open when you saw the size of his bulge through his boxers and the wet patch forming on the material. you sat up on the bed and tugged him closer to you by the waistband of his boxers, licking his clothed bulge. “poor baby, so hard, do you need me to help you?” drew whimpered, nodding his head. “need you so bad, pretty girl.” you chuckled, “want me so bad don’t you, drew?” drew’s hips bucked in response a look of pure desperation on his pretty face, oh, you were gonna ruin him. leave him a mess so that the only person he would ever want was you.
you pushed down his boxers freeing his length. his massive cock snapped up, slapping his stomach, the red tip leaking pre cum. your mouth watered at the sight of him, he’s gorgeous. “you’re so pretty and big, drew.” drew whimpered “fuck, you gonna suck me off, gorgeous?” you hummed your hand coming up to the base of his cock, stroking languidly. “you’d like that, wouldn’t you?” drew groaned, his hand curling into a fist by his side, like he was trying desperately not to force your mouth onto him. he opened his mouth to speak, but before he could say anything, you parted your lips and began leaving open mouth kisses on his tip. alternating between sucking and kissing, drew groaned from above you, his hand finally coming up to tangle in your hair, never pushing or pulling just resting. such a gentleman you thought, but you wanted him to snap, to use you.
you breathed through your nose and then took his entire length into your mouth, your nose pushing into the trimmed patch of hair at the base of his cock. drew let out a loud groan that reverberated through the room. “fuck! y/n!” you hummed and then swallowed around his length, your tongue still rubbing the underside of his cock, before you pulled off of him to catch your breath. but before you could resume your ministrations, drew placed a hand under your chin, tilting your head up. you looked up at him with a fucked out expression and he look even more fucked out than you. “i’m gonna need to prep you, so get on your back for me, baby.” you giggled excitedly, drew reached behind you and unclipped your bra with ease and practised skill before you laid down onto the soft mattress.
your hair splayed around you like a halo, you cheeks flushed and a daze in your eyes as you gazed up at drew. he leaned over you on the bed, one hand placed by your head and the other stroking your thigh. “i’m gonna take you out after this.” you raised a brow, “oh yeah? what makes you think i’m gonna say yes?” drew smirked at you, he did love a challenge. “alright, if i make you cum three times, you have to go out with me. deal?” you hummed, mulling over the proposition. “you’re on, starkey.” drew leaned down and began kissing and biting your neck, then your shoulders then finally your tits, sucking at your nipple and squeezing the other one with his large palm. “been thinking about feeling these since the moment i saw them on my tv.” he mumbled against the flesh. you could only respond in moans. “fuck, drew!”
drew continued his way down till he was face to face with your lace covered soaked core, he nuzzled his face into your clothed pussy, inhaling deeply. “fuck, you smell amazing.” you whined impatiently, bucking your hips. drew chuckled and hooked his fingers into the band of your thong, dragging it down slowly, the material clung to your centre a sticky film connecting your cunt and the fabric as he pulled it down and off your legs, dropping the fabric onto his pile of clothes on the floor. “god, you’re so wet, baby.” drew said breathlessly. “who’s got you so wet, huh? tell me.” your cheeks flushed in embarrassment “you, drew, i’m so wet just for you.” drew hummed appreciatively “such a pretty pussy, I knew your cunt would be gorgeous, just like the rest of you.”
before you could say anything in response, drew dove into your cunt, eating you like a man starved. his tongue flicked at your clit, as he spread your lips open with his fingers baring you for him to consume. you gasped and whined, your moans coming out broken. then he sucked your clit into his mouth and his long finger prodded at your entrance. your hips bucked and your thighs squeezed at his head. but drew just held your legs open with one hand as he doubled down on his efforts, he slipped in another finger, thrusting with fervour and you thought you were seeing stars, you had never had a man eat you out like this before. it was like drew was born to live between your legs, like he was made just for you. as he sped up his movements you felt the tightening band in your stomach about to snap. “fuck! drew! shit! i’m gonna cum!” your orgasm tore through you with a rage, as you came with a shout of his name. your back arched off the bed and your legs shook around drew’s head, thighs squeezing him. your puffy clit throbbed and your slick walls pulsating around his fingers.
drew detached himself from your abused cunt, slotting himself between your spread legs, your body was still trembling. “that’s one, baby” you could only muster a whine in response as drew grabbed the base of his cock stroking a few quick times, before slapping the head of his cock against your swollen cunt. “fuck, wait, i don’t have a condom.” you shook your head. “don’t care ‘m on birth control, wanna feel you, drew.” you said, your voice full of your need for him. drew groaned his head bowing forward, as if his was in prayer. his voice conveying his all consuming desire for you. “you’re gonna be the death of me.”
drew smeared his pre cum all over your cunt, like he was trying to mark you as his. then he pushed the tip him, your mouth hung open as a gasp escaped your plush, swollen lips. it felt as though his was spitting you open. drew stopped as your brows furrowed and your perfect face scrunched up, mouth still open. he was right, you look exactly as how you did in your sex scene. but seeing you now, in real life, in front of him as the cause of your pleasure, the feeling was indescribable. he knew in that moment that he lived for you. to be the source of all your joy. you shook your head “no, don’t stop, i want it to hurt, i want to be able to feel you tomorrow.” he couldn’t speak, drew swore that no woman could every make him feel like you did. he pushed all the way in bottoming out, he didn’t give you any time to adjust to his size, pounding into your tight cunt with ardour. your moans and whines came out strangled, your face flushing.
drew’s hand trailed your thigh, grabbing the plump flesh, so tight that you knew that he would leave hand prints, his cock slammed into your walls and he looks so pretty above you, bottom lip bit under his pearly teeth, in effort to keep his groans at bay. sweat gathering at his forehead, that you wanted to lick off, pretty brows furrowed together. you were gripping him like a vice and he knew that he wasn’t going to last long. he brought his thumb to your throbbing clit. rubbing quick circles on the bundle of nerves, you threw you head back exposing your neck as you felt your second orgasm of the night creep onto you. “shit, baby, prettiest girl in the world, fucked out on my cock. you don’t know how long i’ve been dreaming of this.” your tits bounced with each slap of his hips against yours, his heavy balls banging against your ass, the sting adding to your pleasure.
“holy fuck, drew!” your body convulses from your second climax, tight walls clenching hard around drew’s thick cock, he pulled out quickly, flipping you onto your knees as your face buried into the mattress. you panted heavily as he pushed back into you from behind. large palms gripping onto your hips. he picked up his pace right where he left it giving you no time to gather yourself. strong hips pounding against your perfect ass, one hand left your hips that he trailed down your back to your head gripping your hair, turning your head to the side so you could watch him over your shoulder. but you struggled to keep your eyes open.
drew was struggling not to cum, he was nothing if not a man of his word, so no matter how hard your velvet walls clenched around him, no matter how perfect the sight before him was, he had to see you again. so he wasn’t going to lose his chance by fucking cumming too quickly like a teenage boy. “best fucking pussy i’ve ever had.” he praised and your squealed in response, you could form coherent thoughts anymore, let alone words. the only thing you could think of was drew, and how he was splitting you apart on his big cock. the angle of his thrusts hitting that sweet spot inside of you. “fuck! ‘m gonna cum, baby!” you cried out and drew whimpered in relief, he was teetering on the edge and the thought of having to hold on for any longer made him feel like he was going to collapse. “yeah? gonna give me number three, baby?” you pushed you ass back into him matching his thrusts as you whined loudly. drew was hypnotised as your red cheeks bounced on his cock, his hand leaving its place on your hip to smack down on the plump flesh, once, twice, then three times, watching it jiggle. “fuck, please rub my clit!” drew obeyed immediately bending at hip and reaching around you so that his long fingers could rub at your pulsing clit with vehemence.
“i’m cumming!” your body shook and your eyes squeezed shut as tears rolled down your eyes, you felt this wetness exploding out of you but you couldn’t focus on it, drew groaned from behind you his hips stuttering as he came with a loud moan of your name his cum pushing into your cervix. he pulled out of you and you felt the mixture of your mixed fluids seeping out of your pussy. drew took two of his fingers and gathered the mixture and pushed it back into your sensitive cunt, you whined in response, collapsing onto your back it’s only then did you see the mess you had caused on the expensive sheets of the hotel bed. “you squirted. that’s so fucking hot.” you felt boneless, completely spent. “ever done that before?” you shook your head no “mm mm.” drew’s face was completely fucked out and you were sure you didn’t look much different. “hold on, baby, i’m gonna clean you up, ok?” you simply nodded, too tired to speak. drew walked to the bathroom and came back with a wet towel, which he used to wipe between your legs and over your sensitive cunt, before chucking the cloth somewhere on the floor, then collapsing next to you on the bed.
drew gathered you into his arms tugging you close to him, his arm under your head and the other around your waist and you snuggled you face into the crevice of his neck and shoulder. your hand coming up to rest on his chest and your legs tangling with his. you have never felt so content in your life. drew spoke in a hushed tone. “so, that was three, can i take you out now?” you giggled in response “yeah, can i tell you a secret?” drew was tracing patterns on your shoulder. “what’s that, baby?” you smiled against his skin “i was gonna say yes anyway, but i wanted to make you work for it.” drew chuckled. “you cheeky minx.” “can i tell you a secret?” you nodded “i would’ve done anything you told me too.”

Take Two || Vil Schoenheit
You and Vil, once lovers, are forced to reunite through work, stirring up old heartbreak and undeniable tension. Slowly, you realize love never truly left, and some stories deserve a second chance.
i promise it's a happy ending
The night air feels sharp against your skin, the chill sinking into your bones as you stand face to face with Vil in the shadow of Pomefiore’s grand staircase. His golden hair catches the faint light, glimmering like spun silk, his expression frozen in a mask of disbelief. But his eyes—his eyes betray him, shining with an ache so raw that it almost makes you collapse under the weight of your decision.
"You’re leaving me," he says, his voice flat, brittle, like glass about to shatter. "After everything."
You try to smile, but it’s more of a grimace. "You deserve someone who can keep up with you, Vil. Someone who doesn’t have to fight just to be noticed, someone who—"
"Stop," he snaps, the word cutting through the night like a knife. "You think this is about keeping up? About deserving?" His voice rises, trembling with a rare fury. "You’re not a burden to me. You never were."
Tears spill over before you can stop them, warm against the chill of the night. "But I’m holding you back. You’re going to be an award-winning actor, a global icon. You’re meant for so much more, Vil. And I—I can’t be the reason you look back someday and wonder what you missed out on."
Vil’s hands curl into fists at his sides, his perfectly manicured nails digging into his palms. "You sound like a coward," he says bitterly. "Someone who doesn’t understand what it means to love. I gave you my heart, and you’re throwing it away like it’s... disposable."
You step closer, your voice trembling. "Vil, I love you. I love you so much it hurts. That’s why I’m doing this. Because I know that if I stay, I’ll be the anchor that holds you back."
He stares at you, stunned into silence, before his face crumples. It’s a sight you never thought you’d see—Vil Schoenheit, so composed, so regal, letting tears spill unchecked. "I regret it," he whispers, his voice breaking. "I regret giving my heart to someone who doesn’t want it."
Your breath hitches. You reach out, wiping his tears away with trembling fingers. "I want it. I’ll always want it."
"Then why—"
"Because I love you enough to let you go," you say, your voice cracking. You lean in, pressing a soft, lingering kiss to his lips, tasting the salt of both your tears. It’s desperate and bittersweet, a farewell that neither of you wants but both know is inevitable.
When you pull back, his eyes are filled with an agony that mirrors your own. "I’ll pray to the stars that they align for us in another life," you whisper, stepping away even as every fiber of your being screams to stay.
Vil doesn’t follow. He stands rooted in place, watching as you disappear into the night, his tears sparkling under the starlight like diamonds.
And as you walk away, your heart breaking with every step, you can’t help but wonder if love is truly worth it when it hurts this much.
The spotlight gleams against the polished floors of the gala, chandeliers casting constellations on every surface. You stand at the edge of the room, champagne flute in hand, wearing a smile that doesn’t quite reach your eyes. Laughter ripples around you, yet your heart pounds louder than any of the polite chatter.
Across the room, he stands, bathed in a soft golden light as if the universe itself couldn’t bear to dim him. Vil Schoenheit, global phenomenon, beloved by millions. And you, just a rising singer whose every success still feels like a shadow of his own.
You force yourself to look away before your gaze lingers too long. It's been years since that night—the night you kissed him goodbye, the night you walked away so he could become everything you knew he was destined to be.
And he did. Oh, he did.
Every magazine cover, every award stage, every grand performance is proof of that. You’re happy for him. Truly. You send flowers every time he wins something new, handpicking each bouquet and handwriting every note. Congratulations, Vil. You deserve this and more. No reply ever comes, but you never stop.
You tell yourself it’s fine. That this is enough.
He spots you before you spot him. He always does.
You stand by the windows, moonlight catching on the delicate fabric of your clothes. Your laughter mingles faintly with the music, but Vil knows you well enough to hear the cracks in it. To anyone else, you’re poised, radiant—a star in your own right. But to him, you’re the person who kissed him goodbye and took his heart with you.
He straightens his posture, as if that will shield him from the wave of memories crashing over him.
The flowers you send have become a cruel routine. He receives them like clockwork—each arrangement more thoughtful than the last, each card bearing your familiar handwriting. He reads every word, his thumb brushing over the ink, before placing the cards in a drawer he’s too afraid to open.
And yet, he saves them all.
Seeing you now is both agony and relief. He knows his worth; the world adores him, reveres him. But when he sees you, every ounce of that worth feels hollow. He feels young again, vulnerable—a teenager fumbling with emotions too large for his heart to hold.
The inevitable happens: your eyes meet.
You catch Vil’s gaze across the room, and your heart stutters. You force yourself to smile, a small, polite thing, and raise your glass in acknowledgment. He nods back, his face unreadable, and you swear your knees might give out.
You’re supposed to be over this. You’re supposed to be happy.
But every time you see him, the years fall away. It’s as if you’re back at Pomefiore, back on that staircase, wiping away his tears and whispering that you loved him before breaking both your hearts.
You excuse yourself to the balcony, the cool night air biting at your skin. You lean on the railing, taking deep breaths.
"Running away again?"
His voice is smooth, poised, and far too close.
You whirl around, and there he is, the moonlight outlining him like the leading man in some grand romantic drama. He’s holding his own champagne flute, his free hand tucked neatly in his pocket. He looks flawless, as always, but his eyes betray him.
"I wasn’t running," you say, forcing yourself to meet his gaze.
"Of course not," he replies, his tone as sharp as ever, but there’s something softer beneath it. He steps closer, the scent of his cologne wrapping around you. "And yet, here you are. Avoiding me again."
Your throat tightens. "I didn’t think you’d want to talk to me."
He laughs, a quiet, bitter sound. "Do you really think I have nothing to say to you after all this time?"
You blink, taken aback. "I—I didn’t know. You never—"
"Responded?" He raises an eyebrow, his expression a careful mask. "What was I supposed to say, darling? That every card, every flower, every fleeting mention of you feels like a dagger?"
The word darling slips out so naturally that you almost miss it. Almost.
"Vil, I—"
He cuts you off, his voice dropping to something softer, more vulnerable. "Do you have any idea what it’s like to be adored by millions and still feel empty because the one person I want won’t even look at me properly?"
You gape at him, words caught in your throat.
"You left me," he says, and his voice breaks just enough for you to hear it. "You left, and I—" He exhales sharply, composing himself. "I told myself I hated you for it. But the truth is, I never stopped—"
You take a step forward, closing the distance. "Stop."
His eyes widen slightly, his perfect mask slipping.
"I never stopped either," you admit, your voice trembling. "I thought I was doing the right thing. For you, for us. But all I did was break us both."
And then you unceremoniously run, like you always do.
The sound of your phone vibrating aggressively on your nightstand jolts you awake. It’s your manager, and he’s barking something about an emergency meeting, now.
Still half-asleep, you throw on the first pair of pants you can find, grab your bag, and sprint like you’re being chased by a swarm of angry bees. By the time you reach your company’s little meeting room, you’re wheezing like an old accordion.
You stumble in, gasping for air. “I’m—here—what’s the—emergency?”
And there he is.
Vil Schoenheit, sitting in your dingy little meeting room, radiating elegance and beauty like he’s some Greek god forced to endure mortal company. His perfect golden hair gleams under the flickering fluorescent lights, and his outfit probably costs more than your annual rent.
For a second, you just stand there, staring at him in disbelief. "What?" you manage to choke out.
“Ah, you’ve arrived!” your manager says, completely ignoring your obvious confusion. He’s fawning over Vil like the man just descended from heaven itself. “Aren’t we so fortunate to have Vil Schoenheit here with us today? What a privilege!”
Vil sits there with the most unimpressed expression you’ve ever seen, his gaze lazily drifting to yours. He raises an eyebrow, and the look on his face very clearly says: The universe hates me as much as it hates you.
“Why…” You gesture wildly at him like that explains anything. “Why is he here?”
Your manager claps his hands together as if this is all the most wonderful news in the world. “You’ve been given the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to compose and perform the opening theme for Vil’s new drama!”
“…What?”
“And Vil has graciously come all this way to provide you with inspiration!”
Vil crosses his legs, looking like he’d rather be anywhere else. “I didn’t exactly volunteer,” he says flatly. “I was informed this meeting was non-negotiable.”
“Graciously forced,” you mutter under your breath, earning a sharp glance from him.
Your manager continues, oblivious. “This is huge for us! For you! For the company! A chance to collaborate with Vil Schoenheit!” He’s practically vibrating with excitement.
You? You’re mentally screaming. The room’s ancient air conditioning groans louder than your brain cells, and the smell of stale coffee is threatening to choke you. This is where Vil Schoenheit is supposed to get his inspiration?
“Great,” you say weakly, flopping into a chair. “Love that for us.”
Your manager claps you on the back, way too hard. “I’ll leave you two to get started! Can’t wait to hear what you come up with!” He scurries out of the room like his life depends on it.
The door clicks shut. Silence.
You turn to Vil, who’s looking at you like he’s silently calculating how fast he can escape. “So,” you say, attempting to sound professional. “I guess we’re doing this.”
Vil sighs, pinching the bridge of his nose. “It seems we have no choice.”
“You could’ve said no.”
“And risk tarnishing my reputation? Hardly.”
You narrow your eyes. “Wow. Thanks for that vote of confidence in my music.”
He waves a hand dismissively. “Oh, don’t misunderstand. I’ve heard your work. It’s… fine.”
“Fine?” You bristle. “Just fine?”
“I’m sure you’ll rise to the occasion,” he says smoothly, completely ignoring your indignation. “Or at least, I hope you will.”
This is going to be a long day.
The next hour is spent with Vil giving you vague, lofty descriptions of “atmosphere” and “emotion while you scribble down ideas that may or may not be entirely out of spite.
“Think regal, but with an edge,” Vil says, leaning back in his chair like a king addressing his court. “Something that captures the drama’s tone—elegance, intrigue, power.”
“Right,” you say, scrawling Fancy Soap Commercial Vibes in your notebook.
“And it must resonate with the audience on an emotional level,” he adds, completely serious.
You nod, underlining Fancy Soap Commercial for good measure.
At one point, Vil gets up to demonstrate a movement he wants the music to evoke, his motions fluid and precise like the world’s most intimidating interpretive dancer. You’re not sure if you’re inspired or just terrified.
Finally, you throw your pen down. “I get it! Regal, edgy, emotional. Big feels. Got it.”
Vil gives you a skeptical look. “Are you certain? Because your notes don’t inspire much confidence.”
You glance down at your notebook, where you’ve doodled a tiny stick figure labeled Vil’s Vibes surrounded by stars. “…Yeah, totally got this.”
He doesn’t look convinced. “If this ends up sounding like a children’s lullaby, I’m holding you personally accountable.”
You groan, rubbing your temples. “Great. No pressure.”
And yet, as much as you want to throttle him for his impossible standards, there’s a part of you that doesn’t hate this. Because, well… it’s Vil. And whether you want to admit it or not, working with him is kind of incredible.
Even if he’s the most dramatic muse you’ve ever had.
The day starts with your manager shoving a revised directive into your hands: go watch Vil's shoot. Apparently, you needed more "inspiration" to compose a song fit for his upcoming drama.
Great. Because spending more time around Vil Schoenheit, global icon and your ex, is exactly what you needed to totally not lose your mind.
Still, you don’t show up empty-handed. On the way to the set, you grab an aggressively caffeinated iced espresso for yourself—because surviving the day calls for it—and, without much thought, you pick up a caramel macchiato with oat milk.
The barista hands it over, and you’re hit by a pang of nostalgia. This was Vil’s favorite back when you were teenagers, back when you’d watch the sunset with him after his rehearsals. You shake the thought away. It’s just coffee.
When you arrive, Vil’s seated on a folding chair, reading over his script like it’s sacred text. Even in the chaos of the bustling set, he looks poised, his hair perfect despite the heat of the lights.
You approach, clearing your throat. “Hey.”
He glances up. “You’re late.”
“I’m five minutes late.” You hold out the cup. “Peace offering?”
Vil takes the coffee without comment, but the moment he sips it, his movements falter. His eyes widen, ever so slightly, and you catch the flicker of emotion on his face before he masks it.
You don’t linger. “I’m going to talk to the producers.”
As you walk away, Vil stares at the cup, at the faint smiley face you’ve drawn on the lid. His chest tightens. You remembered.
He forces the thought down, folding it neatly into the drawer of unspoken feelings he’s cultivated since the day you left him. Setting the cup aside, he rises, perfectly composed. He has a scene to shoot, and Vil Schoenheit doesn’t falter.
Watching Vil perform is like watching magic. Every movement, every look, every line—he’s utterly captivating.
You sit near the monitors, jotting down notes as inspiration flows. There’s something about him—his intensity, his elegance—that fills your mind with melodies. You’re so engrossed that you barely notice the shoot wrapping up until Vil walks over, a towel slung casually around his neck.
“Are you leaving already?” he asks, his voice smooth and calm, like you hadn’t just been mentally composing an ode to his perfection.
“Uh, yeah. I’ll call an Uber.” You stand, shoving your notebook into your bag.
He frowns, clearly unimpressed. “That won’t be necessary. I’ll take you home.”
“Vil, it’s fine—”
“I insist,” he says sharply, already walking towards his car.
You follow, feeling a strange mixture of gratitude and dread.
The car ride is quiet, filled only with the soft hum of the engine and the city lights flashing by. Vil’s driver keeps his gaze firmly on the road, giving the two of you privacy, but the atmosphere feels oddly intimate.
As you sit there, your mind drifts back to your first date. You were a nervous wreck back then, fumbling with your words, tripping over your feet. Vil, of course, had been effortlessly composed, amused by your flustered state but kind enough to guide you through it.
A small smile tugs at your lips at the memory.
“What’s so amusing?” Vil asks, his voice breaking the silence.
You glance at him, startled. He’s looking at you, his gaze sharp but curious.
“Nothing,” you say quickly, shaking your head.
He doesn’t press, but his eyes linger on you longer than usual.
When the car pulls up to your apartment, you thank Vil and step out, but as you turn to leave, you feel his hand wrap around your wrist.
“Vil?” you ask, surprised.
He blinks, as if realizing what he’s done, and lets go immediately. “Nothing,” he says, straightening. “Just… be on time tomorrow.”
You raise an eyebrow, a knowing smile tugging at your lips. “I will.”
His jaw tightens, and for a moment, you think he might say something more. But he doesn’t. He nods curtly, turning back to the car.
Inside your apartment, you close the door behind you and slide down to the floor, the tears spilling out before you can stop them.
He’s as beautiful as the day you let him go, and it hurts.
You’re so happy for him, so proud of everything he’s achieved. But God, you miss him.
Meanwhile, Vil sits in the back of the car, staring out the window as the city blurs past. His fingers brush against the empty coffee cup in his bag, the one with the faint smiley face you drew.
His heart aches, but he doesn’t let it show. Not even to himself.
The drama is an undeniable success, catapulting Vil’s already dazzling career into further stratospheric heights. But unexpectedly, the opening theme—your song—becomes the anthem of the year, a chart-topping sensation that has every talk show, magazine, and fan forum buzzing about your collaboration.
You, however, aren’t basking in the glow of success as expected. If anything, you’re moping.
Deuce notices first. “You okay? You look… weird.”
“I don’t look weird.”
“You do,” Grim adds, gnawing on his tuna sandwich. “You look like you ate bad tuna but don’t want to admit it.”
“Thank you for the visual,” you deadpan.
You sigh. Everyone else is ecstatic. Your phone is a whirlwind of congratulatory messages, your manager has been pacing like an over-caffeinated rodent, and your inbox is overflowing with offers. Yet all you can think about is the fact that the drama is over—and so are your obligations to Vil.
No more early mornings brainstorming lyrics with him. No more quiet moments sipping coffee during breaks. No more stolen glances when you thought he wasn’t looking (he always was).
It’s ridiculous, really. You’re thriving. Your career is skyrocketing. You should be ecstatic.
Instead, you feel like you’re bracing for an emotional wrecking ball.
Vil, on the other hand, is furious. Not at the drama’s success, of course—he’s a consummate professional, and his performance has been widely praised. No, Vil is furious because he can’t escape you.
He tried. Oh, how he tried. He kept himself busy with interviews, photoshoots, and premieres, meticulously avoiding the thought of you. But then the making-of video was released.
There you were, sitting beside him, coffee cup in hand, throwing out ideas with that little spark in your eyes. The fans lapped it up, the media ran with it, and now every outlet wanted the two of you together for joint interviews.
Vil could not imagine a worse fate.
The first interview is scheduled for 10 a.m., and you arrive early, clutching your notes like a lifeline.
Vil is already there, of course. He sits with perfect posture, his gaze steely as he scrolls through his phone. When he notices you, his lips press into a thin line.
“Good morning,” you venture hesitantly.
“Is it?” he replies coolly, without looking up.
Ouch.
The producer, blissfully unaware of the tension, claps his hands together as he enters the room. “Ah, our power duo! Ready to make magic?”
You exchange a strained glance with Vil. He raises a single brow, clearly unimpressed.
The interview begins, and for the most part, it’s harmless—questions about the creative process, the drama’s success, and future projects.
Then the interviewer smirks, leaning forward. “You two have such wonderful chemistry. Were you always this in sync, or did it take time to build that dynamic?”
Vil’s jaw tightens. You blink, feeling the weight of his stare.
“Well,” you start, “we worked really hard to make the song fit the tone of the drama. It’s all about teamwork.”
“Hmm, teamwork,” Vil echoes, his tone dangerously smooth. “Yes, that’s one way to put it.”
The interviewer beams, oblivious to the storm brewing. “Fans are dying to know—any plans for another collaboration?”
“Who knows?” Vil says, his smile razor-sharp. “Perhaps fate will decide.”
By the time the interview ends, you’re emotionally drained. Vil, of course, looks as pristine as ever.
“Thanks for being civil,” you mutter as you both head to the parking lot.
“Civil?” Vil’s laugh is devoid of humor. “Darling, if that’s your standard for civility, I fear you’ve been spending too much time with amateurs.”
You glare at him, heat rising in your cheeks. “I didn’t ask for this either, you know. You think it’s easy for me to—”
You stop yourself, biting your tongue. You’re not about to give him the satisfaction of knowing how much he still affects you.
Vil arches a brow, waiting. When you say nothing, he smirks. “Thought so.”
Later that night, as you scroll through social media, you stumble upon a clip from the interview. It’s nothing scandalous—just a moment where you and Vil exchange a glance and laugh at a question. But the comments are merciless.
> “These two have HISTORY, I can feel it through the screen!” >“Vil looked like he wanted to stab and kiss them at the same time, and honestly, relatable.” >“Petition for them to star in a romantic drama together??”
You groan, throwing your phone onto the couch.
Somewhere across town, Vil is scrolling through the same comments, his expression unreadable. He closes the app with a sigh, but not before saving the clip to his private gallery.
He doesn’t know why he does it. Maybe it’s masochism. Maybe it’s hope. Or maybe, just maybe, it’s because a part of him isn’t ready to let you go.
The day of the photoshoot arrives, and you’re running on a dangerous combination of nerves, caffeine, and denial. Standing next to Vil for hours under flashing cameras, forced to feign effortless chemistry, feels like a ticking time bomb.
Vil, of course, looks unbothered—poised and perfect as ever, his every movement calculated for maximum elegance. Meanwhile, you’re sweating like a guilty criminal.
“Relax,” Vil murmurs as he adjusts his jacket between shots. “Your unease is practically a stench.”
“Thanks for the pep talk,” you grumble.
The shoot goes on without a hitch, until—of course—it doesn’t.
It happens in the middle of a particularly dramatic pose. Vil, perched precariously on a raised platform in heels, steps down just as an intern accidentally knocks over a loose prop. It lands with a sharp crack, and Vil, who’s clearly caught off guard, stumbles and falls.
A collective gasp ripples through the room.
“Are you okay?” someone yelps, rushing toward him.
“Don’t touch me,” Vil snaps, voice sharp as glass. He sits up with a wince, cradling his ankle.
You’ve been keeping your distance the entire shoot, trying to maintain your professional boundary. But the second you see Vil hurt, that self-imposed wall shatters.
“Vil!” you shout, practically tripping over cables as you rush to his side.
He looks up, his expression guarded. For a moment, you hesitate, half-expecting him to snap at you too. But instead, he simply nods, a subtle permission that shocks the entire production team into silence.
With a surprising amount of strength born from sheer adrenaline, you lift Vil into your arms, bridal style.
Someone from production stammers, “We can call for—”
“I’ve got him,” you cut them off, your tone firmer than you expected.
Vil doesn’t protest. He just loops an arm around your neck, tilting his head slightly as though he’s resigned to being carried like royalty. You can feel the weight of everyone’s stares as you carry him out of the studio, whispers trailing behind you like gossip at a high school cafeteria.
The walk to the medic feels like an eternity.
“You’re heavier than you look,” you mutter, trying to distract yourself from the way his perfume is overwhelming your senses.
“I’ll pretend you didn’t say that,” Vil replies, his voice still sharp but lacking its usual venom.
When you finally reach the medic, you set him down gently, your arms trembling from the effort.
“You can leave,” Vil says as the medic begins their examination.
You nod, turning to go—but your feet refuse to move. Instead, you end up awkwardly sitting on a nearby chair, your hands clasped tightly in your lap.
You tell yourself it’s just to make sure he’s okay. That you’ll leave once the medic gives the all-clear.
Vil doesn’t say anything about your lingering presence. He keeps his eyes closed, his usual pristine mask slipping for just a moment as he exhales slowly.
When the medic finishes and declares him fit to leave, you finally stand. “Well, I should—”
“Thank you,” Vil says softly, cutting you off.
You freeze. For a moment, all you can do is nod before hurrying out of the room, your heart pounding so loudly you’re sure he can hear it.
Back in your dressing room, you sink into a chair and bury your face in your hands.
“What is wrong with me?” you groan.
Meanwhile, back in the medic’s office, Vil sits in contemplative silence, the ghost of your touch lingering like a memory he can’t shake.
You’re holding Vil’s phone like it’s made of glass, glaring at Rook’s number on your own screen.
“You sure I can’t just leave it at the studio?” you ask for the third time.
“Non, non, mon ami!” Rook’s dramatic voice practically vibrates through your speaker. “Vil has a most pressing engagement this evening, and the phone is vital to his work. You’re already such a dear for delivering it!”
“Couldn’t you do it?”
“Alas, I have an engagement myself. A critical affair, truly,” Rook sighs, his tone more playful than apologetic. “I’ve sent you his address. Bon courage!”
Before you can protest, the line goes dead, leaving you staring at the apartment address like it’s an execution order.
You’re in the car, grumbling to yourself as you mentally rehearse what you’ll say.
Here’s your phone. Bye.
Short. Simple. No emotional mines to step on.
But then you accidentally touch the screen, and his phone lights up.
And there it is. The lock screen.
It’s a selfie of the two of you from years ago, taken on some lazy afternoon. You’re both laughing, your faces smushed together awkwardly. You remember the moment vividly—Vil had just cracked a rare joke, one so unexpected it had you crying with laughter.
And now here it is, preserved like some cruel reminder of what you had.
Your stomach twists.
“Oh no,” you mutter.
The driver glances at you in the rearview mirror, concerned.
You’re ugly sniffling by the time you pull yourself together, the poor driver tactfully pretending not to notice. “Sorry,” you choke out. “Allergies.”
He nods slowly, clearly not buying it.
When you finally arrive at Vil’s penthouse—a sleek, modern building that screams successful celebrity—you take a deep breath and ring the doorbell.
Vil answers the door himself, wearing a loose, elegant cardigan and lounge pants that still manage to look couture. His eyes widen slightly when he sees you.
“You left this,” you blurt, shoving the phone into his hands.
He takes it, his gaze lingering on your face. “Were you crying?”
“No,” you lie, unable to meet his eyes.
“Come in,” he says, stepping aside.
“I’m fine—”
“That wasn’t a suggestion,” he says, his tone soft but firm.
Despite your better judgment, you step inside.
The interior hits you like a brick wall of memories.
The layout is different, but the details are achingly familiar. The same muted color scheme you’d picked out together. The same arrangement of throw pillows on the couch—even the same colors.
Your eyes dart to the bookshelf, spotting a framed photo of the two of you tucked discreetly among the décor.
It’s too much.
“You did this on purpose,” you whisper, your voice trembling.
Vil’s gaze softens. “I didn’t want to forget."
Before you can respond, he goes to the kitchen to get something to drink, leaving you to drown in memories.
You’re sitting on Vil’s pristine couch, sipping tea that you can’t even taste. He’s seated across from you, the distance between you both palpable, like a chasm you’re too afraid to cross.
But Vil doesn’t wait this time. He doesn’t dance around the words.
“Why?” he asks, his voice sharp, cutting through the silence.
“Why what?” you whisper, even though you know exactly what he means.
“Why did you leave?” he snaps, the composure he always clings to starting to crack. “Why did you take my heart—my trust—and then shatter it into a million pieces? Do you have any idea what you did to me?”
You flinch, tears already pooling in your eyes. “I—I thought—”
“No,” Vil interrupts, standing abruptly. His hands tremble as he gestures, his voice rising. “You didn’t think. If you had, you would’ve seen how much I loved you, how much I—” He cuts himself off, his chest heaving.
You’re crying now, hands gripping your knees so tightly they hurt. “I didn’t want to hold you back, Vil. You had so much ahead of you, so much to achieve—”
“And you thought you were the thing holding me back?” he yells, his voice breaking. “You thought I would’ve been better off without you?!”
You nod miserably, choking on a sob. “I wanted you to thrive! I didn’t want to be the thing that kept you from reaching your dreams!”
Vil laughs bitterly, the sound hollow and laced with pain. “And you did just that. You leaving—you leaving—was the only thing that’s held me back. Not a day goes by that I don’t think of you. You haunt my dreams, my every waking moment. And I hate it. I hate you for it. So tell me—”
He drops to his knees in front of you, his face inches from yours as his voice cracks. “Tell me you hate me. Tell me you don’t love me anymore, so I can move on. Please, I’m begging you.”
You’re sobbing now, shaking your head frantically. “I can’t. I—I don’t hate you. I never stopped loving you. I left because I thought I was doing the right thing, but I see now that I was so, so stupid—”
“Yes, you were,” Vil cuts in, tears streaming down his face. “So stupid. And so cruel.”
His sobs are raw, unrestrained, and they tear at your heart. You cradle his face in your hands, your thumbs brushing away his tears even as more fall. “I’m sorry,” you whisper. “I’m so sorry. I’ll never leave again. I’ll stay. Forever, if you’ll let me.”
Vil closes his eyes, leaning into your touch like it’s the only thing tethering him to the earth. When he opens them again, his voice is barely audible. “Don’t promise me that unless you mean it.”
“I mean it,” you say, your voice steady despite your tears. “I’ll stay. I’ll stay.”
Vil exhales shakily, his arms wrapping around your waist as he buries his face in your shoulder. “Thank you,” he whispers, and for the first time in years, the weight between you begins to lift.
You’ve barely put the mop down when Vil calls from the living room.
“Hurry up with the tea,” he says without even looking up from his script. “And don’t forget to fold the laundry after this. Properly, please—last time you folded one of my scarves into an actual triangle. Who does that?”
You mutter a half-hearted "Yes, your majesty," and shuffle toward the kitchen. You’re halfway there when Rook bursts in through the front door, a bouquet in hand and stars practically bursting from his eyes.
“Ah, l’amour! C’est magnifique!” Rook declares, startling you so badly you almost drop the tea tray.
Vil raises an eyebrow, clearly unimpressed by the dramatics. “Rook, must you barge in unannounced?”
“Mais oui!” Rook exclaims, twirling dramatically. “How could I not visit when my dear friends have rekindled their eternal flame of passion? Look at you two! You, bossing them around, and them—obediently obeying every word like a loyal partner. True love has won!”
You roll your eyes but can’t fight the grin spreading across your face. Vil, however, looks less charmed. “They’re making up for years of terrible life decisions, Rook,” he says, deadpan.
“Oh, of course,” Rook says, his grin never faltering. “But love is in the air, and I, your humble admirer, could not be happier. Do not deny it—my heart soars!”
You and Vil exchange a look, both exasperated and oddly amused.
“Fine,” Vil says with a sigh. “If it makes you happy, Rook, then yes. True love has won. Now, will you let me enjoy my tea in peace?”
Rook gasps as though he’s been given the greatest gift of all time and promptly sits down, refusing to leave.
When you and Vil finally announce your relationship, the internet goes into an immediate frenzy.
The official post is simple: a photo of the two of you holding hands, captioned, "It’s official."
But the comments?
>"Wow, groundbreaking news. I couldn’t tell from the way Vil stared at them like they invented oxygen." >"You’re telling me they weren’t already dating? I thought this was public knowledge." >"The tension between these two could’ve powered the whole continent. About time." >"Wasn’t their last interview basically a rom-com in disguise?" >"Not even surprised. I’m more shocked it took this long."
Vil reads through the comments with a scoff. “Captain Obvious seems to be having their moment in the spotlight.”
You laugh, peeking at his phone. “I mean, they’re not wrong. We weren’t exactly subtle.”
Vil hums, a small smile tugging at his lips. “At least they approve. For now."
It’s late by the time you both get home, the quiet hum of the city fading behind you as Vil unlocks the door. The soft glow of the apartment feels comforting, like the kind of peace you didn’t know you needed until now.
You both kick off your shoes, and Vil immediately starts fussing with his scarf. You grab it before he can hang it up, putting it neatly on the rack.
As you settle on the couch, Vil joins you, resting his head lightly on your shoulder. For a moment, neither of you speaks, just enjoying the stillness.
“Do you ever wonder why we made it so complicated?” you ask quietly, breaking the silence.
Vil chuckles softly. “Often. But then again…” He tilts his head to look up at you, his violet eyes warm and full of something you can only describe as home. “Perhaps we wouldn’t have appreciated it as much if it had been easy.”
You hum in agreement, leaning down to press a gentle kiss to his forehead. “You’re probably right. But still…”
Vil smirks, pulling you closer. “No more unnecessary complications. Agreed?”
“Agreed,” you whisper, letting yourself finally, fully relax.

“Sorry, I wish I could stay for longer.” You said while you were slipping out of bed. In a sleep malaise he reached out to you and grasped your hand dragging you to his level. You stooped lower and got a soft kiss onto your lips. “Have a good day.”
“No- no- no!” He ran up to your limp body. “You said you could do it. You said you’d-” He lifted your body off the ground looking for a good place to hide you for the rest of the fight. Suddenly another bullet from the enemy gun flew by. He ducked and ran behind the nearest cover.
“She’s a lovely girl! You should talk to her.” Insisted Vander. Silco all but rolled his eyes.
Putting you gently on the ground he held both your cheeks in his hands. “Look at me.” He felt his chest tightening up. “Look at me damnit!” He put his head on your chest. You were becoming colder by the minute.
“Silco I swear-” You said laughing so hard your stomach was beginning to hurt. “What is it dear?” He said, smiling slightly. You tried to calm down but your eyes welled up with tears. He gave you a tissue to wipe them away when you stopped laughing still smiling widely at you. He didn’t show this much emotion around anyone. He- couldn’t.
He laid you flat on the ground attempting resuscitation. With tears beginning to spring in his eyes he couldn’t see much beside the outline of your… corpse. He was foolishly trying to convince himself he could save you, like he’d done so multiple times over the years.
“This is the last time I’m taking you home. You need to be mindful of when you start drinking.” He scolded you in a soft tone, enjoying your slightly inebriated presence nonetheless.. Your hand over his shoulder was making his own face a similar shade to the shirt he was wearing.
Images of your smiling face faded in as he collapsed on the ground next to you. He grabbed your hand and squeezed it for the last time.
“We need to rebel. Now. There wasn’t a better time for this and there won’t be a better time!” You said hitting the table with your fist. Silco shook his head. “I can manage fighting for Zaun, for… us.”
Sevika walked into the room unannounced and found Silco holding a picture frame. She immediately recognised the person in the photo and got out quickly so as to not anger him. He was bitter, he was angry, he was… at a loss.

another sneak peek because i have yet to find it in me to post the full thing. warning(s): MDNI, sexual contents, graphic description of blood, wounds, burn scars, and violence. past-torture, possible dacryphilia.
“Those scars…” Your voice wavered, and you had to pause to steady it. “Were they from your time in the military?”
Watching those pretty lips tremble, tears marring your beautiful face, he felt a sickening clench in his chest. Part of him hated seeing you so sad, while another swelled with something akin to misplaced pride – that this angel was weeping over scars so old they had long since stopped hurting him.
Scars from battles the old Simon had fought years ago. Scars he had seen as part of his creation, marks he bore without feeling.
“Some from service, yeah. Others… more personal-like.” He said it nonchalantly. In his perspective, as proof that it didn’t hurt anymore, didn't need to numb it with ice like he did in the past—so, sweet thing, stop crying over him.
As if that were possible. He could tell you that it happened years ago, but it doesn't matter; it wouldn't lessen the pain even if your human life spanned a hundred centuries. Your tongue seared, heart sliced—someone touched the one you love with the most brutal violence they could choose in this world.
The image must have been absurd—the two of you completely naked in front of each other, yet instead of continuing, you weep over him. But now that you’ve seen it—those scars etched so cruelly and eternally upon his flesh—how do you look away?
"Why... why would anyone want to hurt you?” Your voice trembled, tracing that scar near his ribs that had caught your attention since you first saw it. It stood out, raised and knotted in a way that spoke of a cruel blade—making you wince at the thought of the pain. “Is… is this from your time in the military too?”
“Yeah,”
“What happened?”
Without any real weight, he said, “Got meself ‘anged by the ribs once,” in a light intonation as if it were some kind of joke.
But it wasn’t. My God, you wished it was, but it wasn’t, judging by the scars.
Despite his effort, it couldn’t mask the horror he’d experienced. Your breath hitches in a sob, your hand trying to cover your mouth. Your airway constricts as you imagine how it must have felt for him then. Hanged by the ribs, feeling your skin tear from holding your weight, flesh on display like they do in a slaughterhouse.
And he still manages to shush you, drawing your head to his chest in a tight hug like you’re the one who’s been through it all.
“Twern’t nothin’ – doesn’t even ‘urt no more.”
Pressed against his skin, you seek the usual solace that his heartbeat brings. But your heart remains unsettled, a lingering question nagging at your mind and tongue, refusing to let you find peace until it's voiced.
Raising your head slightly, chin resting upon his chest, you meet his gaze with red-rimmed eyes. "And... and the burn scars?”
“House fire during a mission.”
You know that’s not the full truth, but you don’t dare to press it, choosing to spare your heart from more details of his agonies.
“I don’t like seeing you hurt.” You said.
Simon gave a small hum in response. Reaching up, he wiped away your tears with his thumb. “Then stop cryin', love. 'Urts more to see yer pretty face all red and puffy.”
The hands around your jaw bring you closer. This time, he's the first to initiate this new kiss, closing his lips around yours with almost hesitant caution. And you want to cry—you want to cry from how gentle his touch is, and yet someone has handled him in the cruelest way possible.

Running down the stairs Y/N saw Millie standing at the bottom who called after her, but she could not stop. She told her that she needed a minute and kept running out of the castle. She did not care about the looks from the others as she ran towards the staples. But she did not stop there.
Benny called after her, Sam too who stood next to him, but Y/N gave them no reaction. After she left the stable behind her, she just kept running. Up the next hill as far as her feet would take her and until the castle was no longer visible. Y/N first stopped again at a small group of trees where she could hide inside. She needed time to think and just wanted to be alone. At least for a little while.
Here, her tears could fall freely and her heart could break. Another crack breaking the smooth red surface. She just didn't know what to do anymore. Dean wasn't on her side. No, he preferred another woman. And of course she understood his anger, but it had been over two months now. He should slowly get used to it or at least try to understand her side. It wasn't easy for Y/N either.
The fact that she loved Dean didn't make it any easier. His distance and that cold shoulder hit her hard. It could be so easy, if only he saw her as more than the woman who had robbed him of his happiness. He didn't mention Helena anymore, but sometimes she had the feeling that he looked at her and saw her sister's face.
Maybe she should just walk away, pack her things and disappear. Unfortunately it wasn't that easy. She had no money of her own and there was no question of her taking Dean's money. And she couldn't and didn't want to go back to her father. She missed her clan and the life she was used to for so long, but she actually wanted to start over here with Dean. She loved him and that was the problem. Deep down, she just couldn't leave him. She was hopelessly lost.
A cool wind rushed through the branches and leaves, swirling the fabric of her dress. If only she had grabbed a coat. She found a moss-covered spot near the roots of a large tree, where she sat down and leaned her back against the trunk. She wasn't ready to go back yet.
Dean had just stared after Y/N before the anger caused him to sweep his desk empty with his arm and knock any objects onto the floor. He took a few deep breaths before took to his heels and ran after her. At the bottom of the stairs, Millie was standing exactly as he had left her before.
"Where is she?" he asked and Millie pointed a finger to the door.
"She went out."
So Dean made his way towards the entrance of his castle, but Millie hold him back.
"Dean, wait!" she lightly grabbed his arm to stop him. "Don't go after her. At least not right now."
"What?" his brows furrowed. "But I need to talk to her."
"I know her, Dean, believe me. She was so upset... give her some time to calm down. No matter what you said to her now, she would take it the wrong way."
"I... I don't like that. I should talk to her right now. There was a misunderstanding that needs to be cleared up."
And by that he meant the last sentence that slipped out of his mouth. He shouldn't have said that and he had to clarify that. But he also had to clarify other things. Y/N's words had made him think and he had realized that his behavior towards her simply wasn't fair. However, he had been staying away from her for different reasons than she probably assumed.
"What happened up there?" MIllie asked.
Just as Dean was about to tell him about the package, the door opened and Benny and Sam walked in. So the two men were also brought up to date and then Dean expressed Y/N's suspicion that it was Cassie. Sam and Benny exchanged a look that didn't go unnoticed by Dean and Millie looked down so as not to reveal that she knew about this assumption.
"What? You already knew about it?" he asked incredulously.
"Dean..." Sam started. "Cassie always wanted to marry you."
"So what? That's her motive? She knew that I was going to marry someone else."
"Yeah, but she was not happy when she heared that Y/N is not the right woman." Benny said.
"I mean... you only need to look how she behaves infront of you." Sam pointed out.
"And how she behaves towards Y/N. She makes it pretty clear that she is not happy that Y/N is here."
Well, that were news to Dean. But on the other hand, he had been gone for a while. He had never noticed that Cassie avoided Y/N like that. No matter who he saw Y/N with, they all seemed to like her now and she seemed to get along with everyone. She fit the bill really well.
"Okay. This is not happening. Not under my watch." Dean said and made his way back up the stairs. "Call everyone into the dining hall!" He had to do something.
Fifteen minutes later all the clan members were gathered around the large table, at the head of which Dean stood, the package in his hand. A murmur went through the crowd as no one could really explain what the problem was. Dean looked around and saw Jo and Alex standing with Cassie. Benny was standing near the door and Sam was across the room from him. Millie had fought her way to Jo without Cassie or Alex noticing her.
"When I came back from my business trip today, I actually had the impression that everything was fine. But then Y/N found this in our bedroom." and with a thud he dropped the package onto the table after removing the lid.
The severed cat's head almost fell out of the box, causing shocked exclamations among those present.
"This is a threat that should go to Y/N. But this threat also goes to me and I cannot and will not accept that. Y/N is now my wife and I had the impression that you all received her well But apparently I was wrong."
An incomprehensible murmur now went through the crowd, accompanied by the underlying question of who could do such a thing. Dean observed the reactions of the different people, but couldn't notice anything unusual, not even with Cassie.
"So that's how it's going to go here now." Dean raised his voice a little so that everyone would really listen to him. "Whoever did it has the opportunity to own up to it and admit it now. However, if that person doesn't speak up and I find out who it was...then God have mercy on him."
It was slowly getting dark and the temperature had dropped noticeably, but Y/N still couldn't go back. She had seen Sam and Dean riding horses across the countryside, calling out to her. She could also hear Benny, who was probably looking for her somewhere near the stables. Still, she couldn't reveal herself.
If Dean confronted her now, she would probably pour her heart out to him. She had noticed one thing in the last few hours. Her nerves were pretty thin and she wouldn't be able to handle any further rejection of her confession. She still hadn't completely calmed down. So she would now wait until the men gave up their search for the day and then sneak into Arrow's stable.
It took a few hours until Y/N felt safe enough to head back. By now it was pitch black and the cold was now creeping into her bones. Even though she was probably no longer visible, she walked slowly and deliberately. Always keeping an eye on the castle and its surroundings while she ducked again and again.
A lantern was burning in the stable and the candle wouldn't last much longer. However, it still provided enough light for Y/N to find the right box. As soon as Arrow recognized her, he whinnied happily and raised and lowered his head. She immediately tried to calm him down so that he wouldn't give her position away. However, that took a few moments.
"Oh Arrow. What am I supposed to do?"
The horse pushed Y/N's head closer to him as soon as the young woman stood in the box with him. As if he understood her words and recognized that she was struggling inside. She hugged him back, enjoying the feeling of safety and familiarity in that moment.
"That came from the stable! I think it was Arrow!"
Suddenly she heard Benny's voice, which seemed to come from the castle. But he wasn't alone.
"I'll take a look!" Alex called back, seemingly closer.
Oh no, she didn't want to be discovered yet. But after looking around and not really finding a place to hide, Y/N went to the end of the box, sat on the floor and piled the hay up above her. She tried to hide under it as best she could and just hoped she wouldn't be noticed.
Then she heard footsteps coming towards her. She could still see a little through the pile of hay above her head and at some point she saw Alex's legs and how he was walking through the stable. He stopped briefly at Arrow, spoke a few words to him and then went out again.
"She is not here. Everything looks normal." Alex stated as he seemed to walk back to the castle.
Relief flooded through Y/N and she was able to release the breath she had previously been holding. Quietly and carefully, she dug herself out of the hay again. The candle in the lantern barely gave off any light now. Arrow came over and sat down next to her, resting his head on her lap. Y/N also leaned into him a little.
"Just a little longer." She whispered while petting Arrow. "I'll just stay with you a little longer and then I'll go back."
Dean paced around the bedroom. It was already the middle of the night and Y/N still hadn't returned. A bad feeling slowly began to spread within him. After all, it was his fault that it had gotten this far. He had scared her away and made her feel like running away was the only solution. His absence and the silence with which he had punished her had been too much.
And yes, he now knew that he had unconsciously punished Y/N with his behavior. He hadn't married the woman he wanted and in a way Y/N was to blame. But that wasn't really why he had acted like that. Because now he also knew that there was an even more confusing reason for him. He stopped in front of the window and looked out into the cold, dark night.
Back then he had already imagined everything in his head. What the wedding with Helena would be like, their life afterwards here in his castle. What the next five years could have been like. The first child, then the second. For a long time these had just been fantasies for him, but after he got to know Helena, he could easily imagine that the fantasies could be true. He had really had feelings for the young woman.
But then the wedding night was over and in the next morning came disillusionment. He hadn't married Helena, but Y/N. That really threw him off track. And yet there were parallels between him and his wife. That's why he took her with him. And actually he had planned to just see how it goes. It was just the way it was now.
But the journey back to the castle alone had been a challenge. As soon as Y/N sat in front of him, his penis began to stir again. Her soft, round ass against his hips, the scent that wafted from her hair into his nose, had inevitably brought back the images of their night together.
And from then on, every night had been difficult for him. Every minute he had been alone with Y/N he had had to pull himself together. So often his fingers had itched to hold her in his arms or even kiss her. But he wasn't sure if she would have wanted that. After all, she had married him out of necessity and not because she wanted to.
So he went on business trips. But the distance didn't make things any better. When he lay in bed at night and let his thoughts wander, he always saw Y/N in front of him. He thought of her, of the things she had told him and of their night together. She had really caught him off guard and made him long for her. How crazy was all that?
He couldn't stay in the room any longer. With his coat in hand, he made his way back downstairs. The castle lay still and quiet, peaceful, as if nothing had happened. He opened the door and stood on the stairs, his gaze turned back to the dark landscape. His wife was out there somewhere and he was just hoping she would come back so he could talk to her and explain himself. So he could finally do it right.
"Dean?"
Slightly startled, Dean turned to the voice and recognized Ellen, who was standing in front of the kitchen with a candle in her hand and looking at him in surprise.
"What are you doing here?" she asked and came over to him.
"Y/N is still out there somewhere. She still hasn't come back." his gaze turned back.
"But she will come back eventually. She probably just needed time. After what you told me, Dean... you really made a mistake."
"I know!" he exclaimed angry at himself. "But I'm hoping it's not to late now."
Ellen didn't say anything else, but her heart ached a little for Dean. She was also worried about Y/N and hoped that she would show up again soon. She placed a warm hand on Dean's shoulder, showing him her silent support. After a few minutes, however, she broke the silence again.
"Has anyone come forward about the allegations yet?"
"No. And it looks like noone will either."
"She was really on edge last week. Whoever followed her had made her feel really uneasy."
"You also knew about it?" Dean asked surprised.
"Yes. She told me about it."
"Did she also tell you that she that she suspected Cassie?"
"No. But that does not surprise me." Dean looked at Ellen questioningly and she smiled a little. "Have you ever seen how she looks at you? She's jealous. And she's ignoring Y/N since the moment she came here. It would make sense."
With that Ellen was right, but he could hear a 'but' in her sentence. So he asked he to explain.
"when you called the meeting this afternoon and showed us what it was about, Jo overheard Cassie talking to Alex."
"And?" Dean now was eager to know.
"She wasn't as shocked as everyone else about the contents of the box, but she was probably still surprised. And then she said to Alex that she thought the act was good and that it was a shame that she hadn't thought of it herself."
"So she indirectly admitted that it wasn't her... And Jo believes her?"
"Yes. And I believe that too, by the way." now Dean looked surprised and Ellen explained her statement. "She once helped me in the kitchen and was supposed to pluck a chicken. She almost vomited. And the animal was already dead."
"So she couldn't have killed the cat." Dean mused.
"No. Not her. Unless she had an accomplice. But I believe Jo that it wasn't Cassie. My daughter has known her longer than I have."
That made sense in Dean's eyes. "But who was it then?"
"That's exactly the question, Dean. Who did it?"
Early the next morning Benny made his way to the stable. He hadn't been able to find any real peace either. So he wanted to check on Arrow. The sky slowly became brighter, making last night's frost glitter like stars. It had been the coldest night yet. He lit the lanterns and then ran the boxes. Everything seemed quiet, but when he glanced into Arrow's box, he had to do a double take.
There, right next to Arrow in the hay, lay Y/N and she was pretty pale. Benny walked straight towards her, which startled the horse, but it remained calm on the ground. Upon closer inspection, Benny saw that Y/N had sweat on her forehead and her lips were blue.
He didn't have to think about it for long. Benny lifted her out of the hay into his arms and made his way to the castle. She urgently needed to get somewhere warm and Dean needed to know about it too. He hadn't left the stable when Alex stood in front of him, looking quite frightened.
"Go call Dean. Tell him I found Y/N and that she needs help." Benny ordered, but Alex didn't seem to be able to move. "GO!"
Suddenly the young man came back to life and turned around to run back into the castle. Benny also hurried to get there while speaking quietly to the woman in his arms. He noticed how she was shaking and the cold radiating from her body worried him deeply.
He was just walking in the door when Dean appeared in front of him and took Y/N into his arms. But the two were not alone. Apparently Alex had woken up half the castle.
"Benny, ride off and bring the doctor here immediately! Don't take any detours and if he refuses, then tell him that money doesn't matter!" Dean called over his shoulder as he hurried up the stairs with Y/N.
Millie followed Dean straight up the stairs and opened the bedroom door for him when they reached the top. After they entered, Millie pulled back the covers so Dean could lay Y/N there and tuck her right back in.
"Millie, can you please get a few more blankets from the guest rooms? I'll light the fire in the meantime so that it gets warm in here."
"Of course." Milllie said and set off straight away.
After Millie disappeared from the room, Dean looked down at Y/N. Her face was so pale that her blue lips formed a shocking contrast. God, this was all his fault. Just because he once again spoke first before he could think about his words. So he did something useful and started the fire in the fireplace.
Still, it took over an hour for Benny to get back. Only he didn't have the doctor with him, but someone else. A thin man with dark skin sat on another horse. Not as dark as Cassie's skin, but different nonetheless. He wore a turban on his head.
“Doctor MacGregor wasn’t home. He was called to an emergency in Dundreggan last night. But his guest from India is also a doctor." Benny pointed to the man next to him and introduced him. "This is Mr. Gupta. He's an... ajurwedish doctor. Correct?"
"Yes." the man said with an strong accent. "And I'm here to help. If you're willing to let me."
For a moment Dean was skeptical, but then he remembered that every second counted. And so he gave the man his hand and explained the situation to him as they made their way up to Y/N. He saw the concerned and puzzled looks from some of the others they passed, but he ignored them.
Mr. Gupta examined Y/N thoroughly, explaining every step and his findings to Dean. They had already done the right thing by wrapping her up warm and heating the room well, but that wouldn't be enough.
"She is hypothermic. Her body temperature is already in the critical range. Under no circumstances should the room lose heat. At some point she will try to free herself from the blankets, but that must not happen either."
Meanwhile, Millie was back in the room and she and Dean took in all the information and agreed on care for Y/N in the next few days.
"In addition, I will prepare a decoction and a warming paste for her. If used regularly, her condition should improve in the next week. But it will take time."
But Dean didn't care. The main thing is that Y/N would feel better soon. He wouldn't lose her like this. That was out of the question.
Y/N felt weird. She felt hot and cold at the same time, her head was pounding and she was shaking. She noticed noises but couldn't identify them. In general, she didn't know whether she was dreaming or awake.
Whenever she tried to free herself from the sea of blankets under which she felt buried and was sweating from the heat, Dean's face appeared above her, encouraging her to stay under the blankets.
Other times, when the cold made her shiver and she felt the blankets being pulled away, she tried to bury herself under them again. But even then Dean's face appeared, reassuring her that it wouldn't take long as he caressed her. But when he stopped, these parts of his body became really warm and drove away the cold.
And sometimes she had a terrible spicy taste in her mouth that made her thirsty. Then Millie was with her to help her drink. Or were those just dreams too? She simply couldn't tell the difference and so she always hoped that her consciousness would just slip back into the silent nothingness where she could no longer feel anything.
The next time Y/N woke up she felt different. More awake with a clearer mind. She was still cold, but she finally felt like herself again. And she realized that this wasn't a dream. She was really awake. With tired limbs, she moved slowly and moaned slightly.
"Y/N? Y/N!" She heard Dean's excited voice and searched for him with her eyes once she got used to the brightness.
"How are you? Do you need anything?" suddenly he was at her side, holding her hand.
"No, I... I'm fine. I'm just... a little tired and I'm still a little cold." She said quietly, wondering what even happened.
But it didn't take long for the memories to catch up with her again. She didn't go back the night after she escaped. She had fallen asleep at Arrow's side and had lain in the freezing stable all night. It had been her own fault.
She saw Dean take a deep breath and close his eyes briefly before speaking again. "Stay there. I'll call Millie and the doctor." and then he disappeared through the door.
Half an hour later, Dean made his way outside and walked over to Sam, who was chopping firewood. With a firm step he ran towards his brother, who looked at him worriedly after noticing him. Sam put down the axe.
"Dean? Is everything okay?"
"Yes. Yes, everything is fine." answered the older man, took the ax in his hand and began to boldly chop wood.
"Are you sure? Is something wrong with Y/N?" Sam probed.
"No." he swung the axe. "She woke up and was lucid again." again the ax thundered downwards. "She's doing much better than she has in the last few days." with the third blow the log was split.
But then Sam realized what was really going on with his brother. He had seen how the guilt had eaten away at Dean over the last few days. He had made huge accusations against himself, even if he hadn't admitted it. So Sam left him alone with the firewood, knowing that Dean would have to use it to release his pent-up emotions. But still the hope spread within him that this was finally the turning point.
An hour later, most of the firewood had been cut down and Dean was sweaty and exhausted. But he felt better. Now it was time to start all over again.
He made his way back into the castle when Mr. Gupta came out. Dean thanked him for his help and said goodbye to him with kind words. The doctor had made another decoction and prescribed Y/N two more days of bed rest in addition to a hot bath, but he was sure that she would recover completely. She just had to take it slowly and Dean would make sure of that.
When Dean came into the bedroom, it wasn't as warm as before and Y/N was still sitting in the hot tub. She was slightly startled when she saw Dean come in, but didn't say anything. That hit Dean a little, but he could also understand her behavior. After all, he was guilty of it himself and it was entirely up to him to change that.
He undressed and walked towards the tub. Y/N scooted forward to make room for him and once he was in the tub, she wanted to get out. But Dean stopped her and made her sit back down. He picked up the bar of soap that was lying on a small stool next to the tub and immediately recognized the scent. That's why Y/N always smelled so seductive.
By now the bar of soap was pretty thin and he made a mental note that he needed to bring her some again. After Dean had cleaned himself up, he leaned back in the tub and gently pulled Y/N along by the shoulders. She reacted a little stiffly at first, but quickly relaxed again and secretly enjoyed the feeling of finally being able to be so close to Dean again.
When the water slowly got cold, they got out of the tub again. Dean first so he could grab a towel for Y/N. He held it out to her openly after Y/N also had both feet on dry land and wrapped it around his shoulders. Suddenly they were so close. Body to body, face to face that Dean cleared his throat and had to take a few steps back so he didn't do anything rash.
"Dry yourself off and then go back to bed. I'll get you some real food." Dean said as he quickly got dressed and then disappeared from the room.
Later that evening, when Y/N was slowly making her way to dreamland again, Dean sat by the fire and looked over at the bed. Y/N lay there with her eyes closed, cheeks rosy, hair down and a relaxed expression on her face. And for the first time in days, Dean was able to breathe deeply.
After he had brought his wife and himself something to eat upstairs and they were sitting together, he remembered a situation that had happened in his childhood. On one of their trips when he and Sam were younger, his brother once fell into a frozen lake. Her father noticed immediately and didn't hesitate for a second to pull him out and Sam was quickly fine again.
Nevertheless, he had told Y/N about it and she seemed to just absorb his words. So he didn't stop talking. He told her about many things and she literally hung on his every word. Why hadn't he done this before? It was so easy to confide in her and even though he didn't like talking about himself in general, he felt comfortable with Y/N in doing so.
The tiredness slowly overcame him and so it didn't take long until Dean settled down in bed. Moving close to Y/N, he quickly fell asleep too.
But just a few hours later, Dean woke up with a start. He didn't know why, but his hand immediately searched the side of the bed next to him, expecting to feel Y/N. But her side was empty and already cold.
“Y/N?” he exclaimed, sitting up at the same time.
"I am here. I couldn't stay lying down anymore." She replied quietly with a smile and his eyes found her directly.
She was sitting by the fire, her hair falling over her shoulders and she had a book in her hand. But Dean couldn't take his eyes off of her. The orange glow of the flames painted her face and made her appear almost angelic. Dean's breath caught in his throat and he sank back onto the bed.
'God, she is so beautiful. Why didn't I notice this before?' he thought to himself.
After a moment he straightened up slightly and looked over at Y/N again.
“Will you please come back to bed?”
Y/N looked at him a little surprised, but then nodded. "Okay."
She put her book aside and came back to the bed. Dean had already lifted the blankets, implicitly inviting her to slide closer to him. Y/N was very happy to accept this offer. Once she was at his side, her head on his chest, he covered them both again.
"You really scared me." Dean said shortly afterwards into the comfortable silence.
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to." Y/N replied quietly.
Dean looked down at Y/N. "Please don't just run away again. Not until I can talk to you."
Upon those words Y/N looked up at Dean. "I won't. I promise." and she meant it, because she wouldn't be able to go through this again.
They looked deeply into each other's eyes and suddenly it was as if time stood still. Dean couldn't hold back anymore. With a hand on her cheek, he leaned down to Y/N until his lips were on hers. He kissed her carefully at first, but Y/N didn't seem to mind the kiss. And as soon as Dean felt her tongue on his lower lip, he was done for.
He deepened the kiss and turned a little more towards Y/N, who was able to put her leg on his hip. His hand moved up her thigh until it came to rest on her ass.
She buried her hands in his hair and began to slowly rub herself against him. She moaned slightly into his mouth while his hand, which was on her butt, went back to wandering. The nightdress that Y/N was wearing had slipped onto her own hips. With his thigh he opened her legs a little more so that his already stiff cock could nestle against her warm center.
Dean could already feel how wet she was and he had to hold himself together not to just push into her. But when Y/N's hand landed on his ass shortly afterwards and she pushed him closer to her, he literally slid into her. So he turned her so that she was lying on her back and sank his last few inches into her.
They both groaned and Dean wasted no time. He moved slowly but forcefully inside her. He carried out each of his thrusts with passion as he uncovered Y/N's breasts and caressed them there with his mouth. He licked her nipples and bit them tenderly, making her moans grow louder.
At some point he picked up the pace a little and licked from her breasts over her collarbone to her neck. That bittersweet pressure built up inside Y/N again and she searched with her lips for Dean's, who was only too happy to kiss her back.
He felt Y/N start to throb around his cock and began to chase his own orgasm. Y/N moved with him, holding onto his shoulders and as she jumped over the edge, he followed her just seconds later. He poured himself deep and hard into her while Y/N enjoyed the aftershocks.
They both looked deeply into each other's eyes as their pulses slowly calmed down. But neither really wanted to let go of the other. So they lay there entangled in each other and fell asleep together again.
A/N: I told you that everything would get better again. Let's just hope it stays that way. 😶 Let me know what you think. Feedback is very much appreciated! 💜

enhypen members reaction to you being smaller than them? and just like tiny in general
omg yes I love these !!! enha reacting to you being smaller than them ||
— No warnings just teeth rotting fluff — WC: 1.5k
Heeseung —
It had been a long night, Heeseung just finished work and came home alot later than usual. He slowly unlocked the door, trying to not make much noise in case it wakes you up, but to his surprise, you were still awake, waiting for him.
You walked over to the mudroom where he was putting his shoes away, "seungie..." you whisper, rubbing your eyes. "Hey sweetheart, im sorry i came home la-" you cut him off by wrapping your hands around his torso, barely able to fully wrap your arms around him. "hmm.. missed you, ‘wanna sleep, please."
He hugged you back the same way, wrapping his arms around you, just to realise how his arms were overlapping each other due to your small figure. He slightly shakes you from side to side, in awe of the size difference between you to, being able to move you effortlessly in his arms as if he’s completely holding you. “Hee, you’re squeezing me too hard!” you told him. “Can’t help it. You’re just so… tiny” he said giggling.
A few seconds later, he scoups you up and walks towards your shared bedroom. He opens the door to the room and slightly moves the blankets to place you in the bed. “Let’s tuck you in, yeah? Don’t want you to get squished” he says, placing a kiss on your forehead.
Jay —
It had been a long day, and you and Jay were finally settling in for a movie night. He was already lounging on the couch, looking relaxed as he patted the space beside him. You walked over, curling up beside him with the blanket draped over your lap. As the movie started, you found yourself snuggling deeper into his side, your head resting on his shoulder.
Jay laughed lightly as you shifted, realizing just how small you were next to him. His arm instinctively wrapped around your shoulders, but as he did, he noticed how his arm nearly covered your entire torso, his hand coming to rest on your upper arm, his fingers almost touching his own wrist. He couldn’t help but chuckle at the size difference.
“You know,” Jay said softly, teasingly, “you’re practically a pocket-sized person.”
You looked up at him, frowning. “I’m not that small, Jay.”
He grinned, adjusting his hold so you were snug against him. “It’s adorable,” he murmured, brushing a stray lock of hair from your face. “You fit so perfectly here, I can’t help it.”
You snuggled into him further, trying to hide your smile as he casually rocked you side to side. “Stop making fun of me,” you giggled.
Jay just chuckled, his other hand gently brushing your head. “I’m not making fun of you,” he said, his voice affectionate. “I just can’t get enough of how small you are. You’re literally the perfect size for cuddling.”
Jake —
Jake had been busy all afternoon preparing dinner, but when you walked into the kitchen to offer help, he couldn’t help but notice how small you seemed standing in the massive kitchen. You reached for a dish on the top shelf, stretching your arms as far as you could, but just barely unable to grab it.
Jake walked over, his hands lightly resting on your shoulders as he leaned down to grab the dish for you. “Need a hand there?” he asked with a soft laugh, noticing how your arms looked so tiny in comparison to the height of the shelves.
You pouted, rolling your eyes. “I can do it myself, Jake. I just—” But before you could finish your sentence, he scooped you up without warning, holding you in his arms effortlessly.
“Looks like I’ll be doing everything for you then,” he teased, as you playfully swatted his shoulder. “You’re lucky you’re so cute,” he said, his voice warm. “Otherwise, I might just be annoyed by how small you are.”
You crossed your arms and gave him a mock scowl. “I’m not small. I’m… compact,” you insisted, but Jake only laughed, carrying you over to the counter to help with the rest of the meal.
Sunghoon —
The two of you had just finished a quiet walk in the park, enjoying the cool evening air. As you both strolled back toward the house, you found yourself walking closer to Sunghoon. Your strides were much shorter compared to his, and you couldn’t help but notice how you had to take extra steps just to keep up with him.
You tried to match his pace but soon found yourself falling behind as he noticed the struggle. Without saying a word, Sunghoon turned around and scooped you up in one swift motion, your feet leaving the ground entirely.
You gasped in surprise. “Sunghoon! Put me down!” you protested, though you didn’t really want him to.
But he just smiled down at you, his arms wrapped around you securely. “You were falling behind. Plus, I couldn’t let you walk all that way when you’re so… small.” He teased, his voice light and playful. “It’s like carrying a little doll.”
You huffed, pretending to be annoyed, but secretly enjoying how effortlessly he carried you. “I’m not a doll, Sunghoon,” you said, even though you couldn’t stop your smile from growing.
He chuckled, his grip tightening just a bit as he walked you back to the house. “Well, I think you might be. I just have to be extra careful with you, doll.”
Sunoo —
You were both in the middle of a late-night study session, books spread out all over the table. Sunoo was hunched over his notes, focused on the material, but you couldn’t concentrate. You were too distracted by how small you felt sitting next to him, the desk towering over you. You reached for your notebook, but your arm barely reached across the surface.
Sunoo noticed the struggle, glancing at you with a soft smile. “Need a hand?” he asked, shifting closer to help you, but as he did, he realized just how easily he could move you in your seat. He wrapped an arm around your shoulders, almost completely enveloping you in his embrace.
“You’re so small compared to this desk,” he said with a teasing grin. “Do you need a step stool or something?”
You giggled, leaning into him. “I’m not that small,” you protested, though the warmth of his arm around you was comforting.
Sunoo just smiled, his gaze soft as he adjusted your seat and kissed the top of your head. “But don’t worry, I’ll always help you reach whatever you need.”
Jungwon —
Jungwon had always loved reading, and tonight, you two were curled up on the couch with a good book. You sat beside him, but your attention kept wandering. The way you sat, your legs tucked up under you, made it hard to focus, and you found yourself shifting a lot.
Noticing your restlessness, Jungwon closed his book and glanced over at you. “What’s wrong?” he asked, a soft smile on his face.
“I just… can’t get comfy,” you replied, shifting again.
He raised an eyebrow, then effortlessly scooped you up into his lap, adjusting you so that you were tucked comfortably against his chest. You let out a surprised gasp, feeling how perfectly you fit there.
“You’re too small for this couch,” Jungwon teased, his voice low and soothing. “But I think you fit perfectly in my arms.”
You snuggled into him, enjoying the warmth and the way he made you feel like you belonged exactly where you were. “I think I could get used to this,” you said, resting your head against his chest.
Jungwon smiled down at you, his hands resting gently on your back. “Good,” he said softly. “Because I wouldn’t have it any other way.”
Ni-ki —
You and Ni-ki had been playing around in the living room, laughing and having fun when you tried to leap onto the couch next to him. But as you jumped, you didn’t quite make it, and Ni-ki instantly reached out to catch you, lifting you effortlessly back into his arms.
“Whoa, are you trying to jump into my arms?” he teased, looking down at you with a smirk. “You’re so light, I barely felt you.”
You rolled your eyes, but couldn’t hide the smile creeping up on your face. “I didn’t fall, I just… misjudged the distance,” you said, trying to play it off, but Ni-ki only laughed.
“You really are just a tiny little thing,” he said, raising an eyebrow. “How do you even exist when you’re this small?”
You poked his chest, still in his arms. “I’m not small, Ni-ki. I’m perfectly sized for fun.”
Ni-ki’s eyes lit up with amusement as he spun you around, showing just how easily he could move you. “Well, I can certainly keep you entertained, tiny one.”

itoshi rin x reader. 2k wc. ノ fluff ノ college au ノ reader wears a skirt ノ mentions of an injury + a little blood
you aren’t one to believe in silly superlatives, but the last few months have helped you understand why itoshi rin is regarded as the most unapproachable student on campus.
he works alone and during the moments when he’s required to collaborate, the man is incredibly blunt. outside of class, you rarely see him accompanied by anyone other than his team and even then he never seems thrilled to be around them. the aloof expression he constantly wears only solidifies everyone’s perception of him—everyone’s but yours.
you’re a firm believer that people are more than they let on and rin is no different. beneath his frigid exterior, there’s something more. at least, that’s what you’ve been telling yourself for the last several weeks. if you weren’t convinced, how else would you explain your efforts of getting close to him?
you’re on a mission, one to see if you can chip away, thaw, the icy exterior that encases itoshi rin.
“rin!” you shout, but your call doesn’t elicit any sort of response—he doesn’t pause, doesn’t turn his head, just keeps walking as though your voice is nothing more than a gust of wind. his disregard fails to deter you as you pick up your pace to catch up with rin’s long strides. it takes a bit but when you finally do, you smile and link your arm with his. you look up at him before asking, “hey, didn’t you hear me calling your name?”
“i did. i was just ignoring you.” his teal eyes finally spare you a short glance before he’s shaking you off, pulling his arm out of your hold and stuffing his hand in the pocket of his long, beige coat. it’s you again, he thinks.
you remind him of something—a gnat, that’s it. small and bothersome but easy to swat away. though, just like them, you always seem to make your way back. he’s grown used to your repeated appearances, even if he finds them slightly inconvenient.
“this is why you don’t have any friends, you know.” you sigh, the stream of air that leaves your mouth visible as a foggy cloud in front of you. you peer up at him through your eyelashes. “you’re so cold.”
he’s silent in response to your statement and you expected as much. still, you send him a smile and continue talking. “i’m willing to look past that, though. what are you doing now?”
“going home.” rin hopes his answer is enough to dispel whatever thought is brewing in your head.
“perfect! so you’re free.” he turns to you with a frown. what part of “going home” gave you the impression that he had nothing else to do? “wanna go get sushi? it’s on campus so we wouldn’t have to go far.”
“no thanks.” he looks away to finalize his answer.
“aw, come on, rin.” if you’re going to get anywhere, you can’t keep letting him brush you off. “it doesn’t have to be sushi,” you try to bargain, but he doesn’t budge, only continues toward his destination.
maybe you should just drop it, try again another time, but your body has other ideas. you take a few quick steps forward so you’re standing in front of rin. you’re walking partially backward as your next words come out. “we can get whatever you w-”
the ground beneath your feet doesn’t feel as stable as it did a moment ago, it’s slippery now, enough to make you lose your balance. you slide forward on a patch of ice before the concrete is back under you. the bottoms of your shoes catch on the roughness of the ground, launching your forward. your knees and the heels of your palms skim the sidewalk, drawing a pained gasp from your lungs.
“shit, are you okay?” rin’s voice cuts through the air, and it’s closer than it was when you were upright. you turn your head to find his face right beside yours. his eyes are zoned in on your hands and you swear you can see a glint of concern pass over them.
“i’m fine,” you tell him, sitting back on your knees and painting on a smile to cover up the pain. you shake your hands at the wrist but the cool air only bites at your open wounds. “it just stings a little.”
you’re a lousy liar, rin thinks. did you think he wouldn’t notice the breath of air you sucked in just now? blue-green irises scan over your hands and knees. the fall was enough to tear your tights and break the skin. there’s blood slowly pooling from the surface of each scratch.
“come on,” rin sighs, straightening up and shrugging his coat off his shoulders. you stare up at him with lips parted in confusion. he jerks his head in a silent gesture for you to stand up.
“where are we going?” you ask, carefully boosting yourself up from off the ground.
“to my apartment.” he glances at your outfit before holding out his coat to you. “put this on.”
you want to ask him why but you figure your constant questioning will put him off. you keep your lips sealed as you accept his coat, slinging it over your much thinner zip-up. your eyes dart back to where he’s standing—or where he was standing. he’s not there anymore but it only takes a tilt of your head to find him. he’s bent at the knee in front of you and his arm reaches over his shoulder to pat his back. “get on.”
your eyes widen in a mixture of surprise and triumph. the gesture itself catches you off guard—before now, it was hard to ever picture rin being so… helpful, chivalrous. on the other hand, this is the first of what you hope becomes many wins in your pursuit of melting away what you think is his frosty façade.
a quiet laugh pushes past your lips as you bend down to wrap your arms around rin’s neck. he hooks his hands under your knees, a low grunt rumbling in his chest as he rises up from his position.
you can’t help but think it would be a lot colder if you weren’t wearing rin’s coat. maybe you should have taken a look at the weather before you decided to put a skirt on this morning. it’s only then that it strikes you—he didn’t give you the jacket to keep you warm, he gave it to you to keep you covered. if the length of the outerwear wasn’t draped over your legs, this piggyback ride would be a lot more compromising.
your cheeks and the tips of your ears are flaming hot compared to the nip of the cold air. you aren’t sure if you’re flustered because of the close call or the fact that rin was attentive and considerate enough to protect your decency. he’s a lot more thoughtful than he puts on.
despite your fall being entirely unintentional, you have to say, the timing couldn’t have been better. the walk to rin’s apartment isn’t far at all and if you hadn’t found a way to stop him, you wouldn’t have gotten through to him today.
with you still on his back, rin fishes out his keys from his pocket, sticking one into the keyhole and twisting until a click signals that the front door is unlocked. you can’t see far into the apartment over his shoulder, but the kitchen and the little glimpse of the living room are exactly what you expected—neat. there are no dirty dishes littered about the counters and the blanket hanging over the back of the couch is tidily folded.
the bathroom is directly to the right of the entrance and rin nudges the door open with his foot to allow the both of you in. he kneels in front of the toilet, setting you down on the closed lid. you survey the scratches on your palms as rin washes his hands and grabs the first-aid kit he keeps under the sink. he kneels down in front of you to start treating the scrapes on your knees.
the process is a silent one, rin’s focus solely on cleaning your wounds. the silence makes you want to squirm but the thought of being reprimanded by rin keeps you glued to your spot. his presence is always overwhelming but much less so when it’s accompanied by conversation. so, you speak, “this is your fault, you know.”
he stills for a split second before continuing, but you don’t miss the way his eyebrows knit together. “how is you slipping my fault?”
you bite your lip to hold back a laugh. the empty statement was merely a poor attempt at filling the silence, but you’re beginning to think that you can use this to your advantage. “i was just trying to be nice and invite you out. if you agreed to lunch with me, this all would have been avoidable.”
rin clicks his tongue. he knows what you’re doing; you’re trying to guilt trip him, make him feel bad. and he does, he recognizes—but not for the reasons you think. he’s never been particularly benevolent but something drove him to act today, something he can’t quite put his finger on. all he can say for sure is that he wouldn’t be doing this for just anyone.
“don’t worry, though.” your voice brings rin back to reality from his thoughts. his teal gaze lands on your face and you smile. it’s pretty, the thinks, but there’s a gleam in your eyes that isn’t as sweet. “i know how you can make it up to me.”
“am i not doing that now?” he asks as he finishes bandaging your second knee.
you ignore his question, holding your palms up at rin’s nod toward them. “i’ll forgive you if you take me up on my offer. going out for lunch, i mean.”
a gnat. persistent and pesky.
“what makes you think i want your forgiveness?” his words, the bluntness of them, starkly contrasts his touch. the lithe finger applying antibiotic ointment to your torn skin is gentle, tender even.
“maybe you don’t,” you hum curiously. you were sure he would have given in by now but his resolve was starting to seem unbreakable. there’s one strategy you have left, one you were hoping you wouldn’t have to turn to. although, you suppose you could always go back on your word. and rin didn’t have to know that.
you clear your throat resolutely in hopes that your next statement comes out smoothly. “i’ll leave you alone if you humor me this once.”
rin almost snorts. he highly doubts that will be the case with your track record and all. despite his skepticism, he doesn’t immediately jump to rejecting you and the lack of a prompt “no” surprises you both.
rin sticks the last square band-aid to your hand while he contemplates your proposal. something about this unplanned interaction has surfaced unfamiliar feelings from the depths of his heart. he still doesn’t understand why he decided to lend you a helping hand, but he figures there must have been a reason—one that he’ll come closer to finding out if he swallows his pride and agrees to your outing.
“fine.” he sits back on his heels, letting his hands rest on his thighs.
you blink at the one-word answer. “fine?”
“that’s what i said.” rin stands up from his place on the floor and starts toward the door. he looks over his shoulder to see you still seated. “come on before i change my mind.”
it would be dumb of you to miss this opportunity—the one that you had sacrificed your physical well-being and a pair of cute tights for—all because you’re awestruck. so you quickly stand and scurry over to rin with a satisfied grin.
you can feel him tense beside you when you loop your arm through his once more. “i knew you’d warm up to me.”
thanks for reading! if u enjoyed, please consider reblogging or commenting ❤︎

I'm not ready for act 3 😚
People go missing sometimes.
It's a part of modern life. Even in a city as enforced as Piltover, a city as patrolled and watched as Piltover- it happens. There are still monsters that roam alleys, or wear uniforms as camouflage. There are still tragedies in everyday life. Despite seeming so very distant when they're plastered on newspapers, or milk cartons, they happen. They're real.
But people like Jayce are not supposed to go missing.
Maybe it's selfish to say that. Maybe it's something that's meant to go unspoken, the fact that some people are considered more important by society. That some people have more privilege, more protection from the uncaring nature of catastrophe.
And yet, despite Jayce's renowned status, the man of progress, despite him holding the gaze of Piltover itself- he's gone missing.
You're not sure how long it's been. How many sullen days have passed, searching, even in the unlikeliest of places, for a sign. A message. A murmur would do. The weeks have simply collapsed into each other, a sinkhole of hours.
You too, following the hours, have collapsed into yourself. The days spent wrapped in cloak roaming Zaun for information have little difference to the days spent curled in bed like a discarded child's toy. Every minute is one, bound together by pure desperation, utter confusion, and endless despair.
Because how could he have just... Vanished?
Just like that, a man of yesterday. It seems that the city is too caught up in political tribulations to care about his disappearance. Some haven't even noticed it. On your endless quest for information, more than once you've received the response, Jayce Talis? I didn't even know he was missing.
But you haven't given up. Not yet. Despite the circles under your eyes, the new strain in your shoulders. Despite the ever-growing pit in your stomach. For what else is there to do but search? Even if you 'gave up', you'd be looking for his shadow in the street, searching for his image in the crowd whilst trying to wipe it from your memory.
You run a hand down your face, curl into the covers that bit more. A knock at the door forces your tired eyes to re-open. Fatigue in your very self argues against moving, and for a a few moments getting out of bed seems the most difficult task in the world. But the knock comes again, harder. With some garbled noise you crawl out the covers as though emerging from a cocoon, movements lethargic like those of a dying animal.
The first lock comes undone with the work of your fingers. Then the next. Your hand hesitates, though, as it grasps the doorknob, your mind considering the swathe of potentials, an unwanted bouquet of sorts. A sales pitch? A concerned visitation? An enforcers questioning eye?
Or- maybe, a new lead. Unlikely, but it's enough to force your hand.
What greets you is none of those things.
You don't recognise him at first- what, with the tattered clothing, the deep-set frown, the beard as messy as his hair.
As soon as he looks up, though, when those terribly familiar eyes reach yours, the confusion evaporates. Boils away to unearth a passion you can hardly hold; it makes your hands shake, your eyes line with tears, your mouth dry in wordless ecstasy. His name leaves your lips as a whisper, and his gaze falters from yours, the soft reality at complete odds with the one he's settled in. The one with sharp edges, with blood and steel as key elements, not butter and affection.
Jayce's face twists, the onset of tears, and all at once he reaches forward to pull you into himself. Hides his sadness in the crook of your neck, his hammer clunking to the ground beside him. You hadn't even noticed he was holding it. His hands run to your waist, pulling at the fabric to ascertain its reality, but he finds it inadequate. He reaches under your shirt, his warm hands against your skin, and he sighs instead of sobbing.
He's not sure if he can anymore. If that part of him survived the Arcane.
But he's here, now. With you. His hands roaming your back, your arms thrown around his neck. Like the pose from a romance novel. The thought drags some whimper of humour from him, and he thinks that's a good sign.
He smells of oil and iron. Earthy. He mumbles about how much he missed you, right into your ear, breath hot. You think you're crying, though you're not entirely certain. The sensations in your body, your mind, overlap into something abstract to the point that crying seems like a spiritual experience. Like the word crying is unable to describe the motion, the true feeling.
You pull him inside, the door slamming shut a reminder of reality, the loud noise binding you to earthly sensation. The questions that fall from your lips are boundless, piles upon piles of vocalised mysteries that Jayce can't seem to answer coherently. You sit him down, push his hair from his face and cup his jaw tenderly. Tenderly as though he could break any second, but from that newfound fire in his eyes, from the dirt staining his skin, you know such a thought is ludicrous. Peeling off his tattered overcoat and the flimsier shirt underneath reveals bruising you could never even picture before now. The curves and hard muscle of Jayce now stained purple, now scarred in places that'd been smooth perfection beforehand.
A part of him, he thinks, should perhaps be insecure of your wandering eyes, your wandering fingertips. He's changed. His body has been torn, battered, bruised. No longer made of marble, but of flesh.
But your eyes are gentle. Concerned, but gentle. When you settle into his lap to hold him close again, to press desperate kisses against his lips, against his neck, he feels he can never leave your side again. Feels an avalanche of guilt for doing so in the first place, despite the decision not exactly being his own.
Whatever comes next, he knows he'll have you. You know you'll have him. And in this moment, your foreheads together, eyes searching each others for the things that can't be felt with words, you both know that it'll be enough.

Schlatt with a gf who doesn't like flowers
She mentioned it before they started dating. I'd like to imagine he would give her a bouquet of plushies (plush toys). Or a bouquet of food like chocolate fruit or fried chicken
Hey if someone gave me a bouquet of fried chicken or chicken nuggest I'd be VERY happy
i love those fruit bouquets with chocolate strawberries, they always look so fucking good
You had off mentioned before, you don’t like flowers bouquets
From the maintenance when you get them to having to throw them out because they don’t last as long as you’d wish
Schlatt kept this in mind when he found out
Then when you started dating he had been thinking all about your future anniversary
That’s when he finally got a great idea: chocolate strawberry covered bouquet
Of course a few other fruits mixed in as well in fun shapes
So he stayed up all night trying to figure out how to make those bouquets
Was so happy seeing how much you liked them and how you started immediately eating them

for the inevitable day I can be proven wrong, I just want to say just how many times I think Kab and Mane are secretly working together and I get really convinced it all makes sense and if she is as good of an actor as she insists then this is just not a crazy take at all.
But then I remember what she says on her streams and I remember I have zero belief that that could be true in the slightest.
But then something like Hannah conveniently being logged out right above the claymore and becoming the perfect scapegoat for how mane found it, or the signs that mane could have found it himself covers up the concept of a mole on the team. How much it reminds me of what spoke was like in the s3 finale. How much it's in the little moments that expose a liar regardless of what they say.
How zam literally gave her the example of working with mapicc to kill pangi and how that showed how dedicated he was to him getting the mapicc kill. How convenient it is for her if the claymore fails so she can be the one to kill mane. How easy it would be dm mane that. and mane can take care of covering for her by saying he found it. how i definitely believe he would be intrigued and pleased with the possibility of a story like that.
how much mane targets her and how easy of a justification that is for her to infiltrate the opposition. How incredibly offended she gets when anyone implies this isn't her kill, while she stays to the side making other's plans come to light.
How much she insists on knowing all of zam's plans. always asking questions.
how much she insists that she cares about zam but has also said multiple times she wants to do a crazy arc on zam. the two can be true because they do care about each other outside of the server.
how she picked mane's iron farm for the conversation with bacon way back when. How she flew off to mane's lag machine area when talking to woogie. How coincidental that of all the places it was two manepear locations in the same week. How much i believe that that is the kind of audacity that kab would love to write into a story.
I just can't shake the Jumper paranoia since s5. How convincing jumper was for being a part of the team. How there were clear points of her being a traitor that got so completely brushed under the rug with easy excuses from her. How easily Spoke s3 got in on zam's team without trying because zam was willing to trust him instantaneously because they once shared views. Zam did all the heavy lifting for making Spoke not look sus, spoke just had to go along for the ride and make tiny silly mistakes that implicated every other member of the server while systematically leading to clown finding the bases himself.
But then i remember Kab is simply always happy when something benefits her, and so not being upset in the slightest over mapicc's claymore not working is so much easier explained as her just being happy her plan can work. Rather than already knowing it was never going to work.
And then I remember how afraid she gets about doing a plan and how much she overthinks before doing it. How much it feels like she's a bad actor when she turns on the acting, so it feels like she's just not good at acting. But what if she isn't.
The possibility is so low and yet the examples are there.
Because she's either the worst manipulator in the world and cannot read people and has only succeeded due to the shortness of other servers, or she holds out for the long con and can handle lying over a very long period of time and covering it by talking about her random other plans as cover for the long term, and she's lying to chat as well in every moment she is streaming. Which is a mind fuck I was not prepared for.
Because you don't need to actually characterize people well in order to manipulate them. You just need to understand yourself. And you just need to craft a narrative that makes enough sense for others to fill in the gaps.
but that's just a conspiracy. one that blossoms in every zam stream and dies in every kab stream. Hopefully I'm wrong but either way we'll know at the end of the season.

cw: mentions of fishing and non-violent methods of killing fish. reader is described as smaller/shorter than law and is wearing a dress. trafalgar law x fisherman f!reader. | word count: 1k, reading time: approx. 4 min.
takes place in the shifting sands verse
It’s a clear, cloudless morning above your island home.
You’ve risen before the sun, as always. You’ve made your way to the beach, as always. You’ve packed your nets and your knives yet there’s one thing you could not have prepared to bring with you in your wildest dreams.
Trafalgar Law, the mysterious man you seem to keep bumping into no matter how hard you try to avoid him. He was walking the beach with his hands in his pockets when you arrived this morning. Briefly, you contemplated pretending you didn’t see him at all but it goes against your nature to not at least be friendly so you asked him to join expecting a no.
To your surprise, he shrugged his shoulders and gave you an unexpected “why not?”.
Now you’ve set out, two people in one small boat. The waves cause the boat to rock although it’s a gentler motion than the last few weeks have given you. Two weeks ago a monsoon blew through, a week after the lingering winds were nearly too strong to come out at all.
At least you have a second body to weigh your boat down in case a rogue wind does appear.
“Don’t you have somewhere to be?”
You pose the question lightly, chin digging into your shoulder while you turn your head to look at him. Each time the wooden boat bobs, your body moves in like. Hips shift and feet widen to shoulder width apart on their own after years spent braving these very waters, your beloved lucky net dangling from your forearms.
The sunrise casts just enough light over him that you can make out the faintest hint of a smile. At least you think that’s what you see before you look away, narrowing your eyes to look across the horizon.
“Nope.”
Sunlight catches the rippling waters, making them sparkle. With a content sigh, you peek over your shoulder again to steal one more glance at him. That smile you imagined still remains. The corners of his lips are upturned just enough that the untrained eye may miss them but not you, ever astute and fixated on every move he makes.
“Then at least keep quiet and don’t distract me,” you tut.
He rolls his eyes and shifts his position. Long legs are spread wide, feet planted firmly on the ground below him. His fingers are linked to make his hands into a singular fist that rests in the open space. You steal a glance at his forearms, bare as they are, but your bravery leaves and you don’t linger for long.
“I’m not the one taking their own sweet time here.”
It’s difficult to argue against the truth. Laughing, you turn back toward the water and finally toss your net. The boat rocks stronger than the waves for a moment, slightly disrupting your stance and Law’s hand makes its way to the small of your back. Long, tattooed fingers spread across the linen dress you’re wearing to cover up your bathing suit, sliding from your back to hip to keep you steady.
“I can handle myself.”
The reminder that instinctively leaves your lips makes him smile though you don’t see it, keeping your face forward lest he make out the surprised expression on your face. This isn’t the first time he’s touched you but this is the most intimate, far more so than popping and replacing stitches in the meticulously kept medical ward aboard Polar Tang.
Before you can further contemplate the weight of his fingers so close to your skin, your hips, the curving swell of your backside, your net pulls and you lean forward to reel it in. He leans with you, those long arms and tall stature coming in handy in situations like this, your back cradled by his palm while you bend over. He continues to sit with his legs spread and his feet planted just as firmly as they’ve been, watching you quickly pull the sopping wet fibers into the boat. Fish flop halfheartedly through the weave and you grin excitedly, looking behind you.
For the first time you see the position he’s in, looking up at you with that dark hair blowing around his face. The breath you were taking catches in your throat and you attempt to swallow it, knitting your brows together. The length of his arm still holds you upward, fingers digging into your dress.
“You alright?”
It feels like a loaded question but you answer it with a nod, looking away to gain some composure.
“Yeah, yeah, sorry,” you mumble and mutter under your breath, bending your knees to squat. The new position finally forces him to drop his hand and lets it dangle while he rests his forearm across his knee. “Thought I saw another boat in the distance.”
It’s not a good lie and both of you know it. Law watched your body shift completely, your face change, your eyes dance across him. What your mouth won’t give away the rest of you always does and he picked up on it early.
Saying one thing, doing another. Always, always, always.
“Thanks for keeping me steady.”
Now you’re just saying one thing and meaning another. Fortunately he picks up on the thing you won’t say.
Thank you for touching me. For caring enough to do it gently, to protect me.
“Work on your sea legs and I won’t have to,” he shoots back, raising his eyebrows and groaning while he stretches out.
Laughing, you begin untangling the flopping fish from their captivity to inspect them. The smaller ones are tossed right back out amongst the shimmering seas. The larger ones are stunned using the ice pick that rattles across the floorboards each time the boat shifts while you mentally say a little prayer, thanking the sea and whatever created these gifts for giving them to you.
“Don’t overestimate your importance, doctor.”
You don’t look at him when you say it but he can feel the amusement. His mind can easily conjure the curve of your cheek. He shakes his head, folding his arms over his chest and his feet one over the other, extending them and letting his boots rest next to where your left foot is placed.
Each of your soles, his and yours, nearly touch.

Can you make a Mr. Silver or Mr.Machete fic. I've barely seen any fics of them :(, just kinda been consuming what I can for a fic. The most common ones I encounter are Mr.Crawling and Mr.Scarletta (which I've finished all of them possibly)...
Any tag is good, fluff, angst, uh... smut? I'm just gonna read anything since I'm so content-deprived 😭
anatomy of feeling
He saw you as a research subject, and you doubt he even saw you as a friend. And yet, you let him cut you open, spread you apart and put you back together. The least he could do is kiss you in return, right?
‧₊ ᵎᵎ 🌊 ⋅ ˚✮ hhelellooooo have this mr silvair fic realising he actually kinda likes u lol
warnings. AAAAAAAANGST, unrequited feelings (kind of), mr silvair typical research (u know what i mean), hurt/comfort, HAPPY ENDING! :D
You don’t mind being a test subject- you were too far gone to even consider going home anymore. You were human, you were monster- and now you’re somewhere in between that you don’t have anywhere you can exactly call home, but Mr. Silvair was ‘kind’ enough to lend you his room, a bed to sleep on, all in exchange of hacking your body to a mushy pile of meat from time to time!
It’s not an ideal situation to be in, head over heels on the guy who researches your body inside out- and it’s not like he even likes you- you’re not even sure if Mr. Silvair is one to understand romantic feelings, anyway.
You remember the first day he indulged you- missing human skin to skin contact, missing a real connection to somebody. Mr. Gap had so kindfully lent you a magazine from the human world, and you can only imagine he gave you it free of charge because you were so down. Of course, it just had to be a magazine promoting some romance movie, the lead couple all snuggled up and kissing on the front page.
You broke down crying. You mean, of course Mr. Gap meant well, but really? It was an embarrassing state you were in, fat tears running down your face and dropping onto your legs.
Mr. Silvair had found you, obviously. Your new home was a research room.
“You okay?” he asked, lips tugging into a frown. “Pain? Hurt?”
“Sad,” you corrected, using your raincoat sleeve to dry your eyes. Your cheeks flushed with embarrassment. “Me sad. Miss home. Want home.”
Mr. Silvair kneeled down in front of you. “This home.”
You bit your lip, and looked away. “Miss…” Stuff? Things? “...stuff from home.” You gesture to the magazine. “Humans. Touch.”
“Miss this?” he questioned, taking a seat beside you. He picked up the magazine, eyeing the front cover through his bandaged eyes, and flipped through the pages momentarily. “What miss?”
You pointed to the front page. “...This ‘kiss.’”
“Mouth touch?”
You nodded. “Mouth touch.”
“Kish?”
You shook your head. “Kisssss,” you hissed the words out.
“Kisssss,” he repeated, your hiss echoing.
You giggled, cheeks still wet from your tears. You wipe your eyes once more. “Miss kiss. Miss hug. Miss… human touch.”
Mr. Silvair set the magazine down and faced you. He patted the spot next to him, and you scooched yourself over. He tilted his head at you, a smile on his face. “Me kiss you?” he asked, and you froze. “Kiss you, you happy. Interested in kiss.”
The weight of his words settled over you like an uncertain storm. You studied Mr. Silvair’s face. The suggestion caught you off guard, yet his sincerity was unmistakable.
Your lips parted to speak, but no words came. Could he even comprehend what he was offering? Did he understand what kissing meant to humans, or was he simply trying to imitate the concept based on your longing? He had always been practical, clinical even, in his interactions.
Who were you kidding? Of course he doesn’t understand. He saw you as a research subject, and you doubt he even saw you as a friend. And yet, you let him cut you open, spread you apart and put you back together.
The least he could do is kiss you in return, right?
You nodded, and Mr. Silvair didn’t make a move to kiss you at all.
“Teach kiss,” he said.
Oh. Right.
His lips, cold as they were, carried a surprising softness, almost cushiony. It was strange, almost surreal, feeling such a delicate part of him when so much of your life in his presence had been sharp edges, instruments, and prodding hands. There was no pressure in the kiss, no demand- just a willingness to learn. It was methodical, curious, like an experiment he was determined to get right.
After that moment, his kisses were a frequent part of your life. He sliced you, diced you, and put you back together and kissed you so softly afterwards that whatever remaining pain you felt was an afterthought.
And you still weren’t happy. His kisses were to keep you in check, to keep you from being a sad little subject. And of course, your body may not be human, but your feelings and heart were. It just reminded you that no matter how much he touched you, or when he learned where to put his hands as the kisses deepened, that he was still unattainable. He still wasn’t yours, but you were his.
“You okay?” he asks, offering you a hand off of the table. “Mind flawed? Shape flawed?”
“I’m okay,” you reply with a shake of your head, and grasping his hand. “Mind good.”
Mr. Silvair smiles, wrapping an arm around your waist and interlocking your fingers together. His head ducks down, silver hair falling off of his shoulder and presses his lips to yours. You close your eyes, indulge in the moment, and move your lips against his.
It hurt.
It was like pressing against a bruise you couldn't stop prodding- painful, but addictive in its familiarity. Because no matter how much you wished otherwise, you couldn’t forget that these kisses weren’t rooted in love or desire. They were a kindness, a calculated gesture to keep you "fixed," to stabilise his research subject.
And you couldn’t bear it anymore.
It wasn’t his fault. He didn’t know what his closeness did to you- how much it fed the ache of your loneliness while also making it worse. He didn’t understand the depths of your feelings, and he never would. For him, this was just another experiment, another connection to study and emulate. But for you, it was everything.
So you decided, silently and painfully, to stop kissing him.
The next time he leaned in, tilting his head expectantly, you pulled away ever so slightly. “Not now,” you murmured, offering a small, strained smile. He tilted his head, confusion flickering over his face, but didn’t press further.
At first, it seemed like nothing had changed. He continued his work as usual, observing, dissecting, and repairing you with the same meticulous care. But when the moments came- those pauses where he’d normally press his lips to yours- you’d shift away, redirecting the moment with a comment or a question.
And he noticed.
At first, he didn’t say anything, but you saw the way his brows furrowed whenever you turned away, the way his hands hovered near you, uncertain. He started lingering after procedures, watching you with an intensity that made your chest tighten. You could tell he was waiting, expecting.
One day, after yet another procedure, he hesitated longer than usual. His hand brushed against yours, his face mere inches away as he whispered, “Sad again?”
You shook your head quickly, forcing a smile. “No. Not sad.”
He frowned. “No kiss,” he said, more a statement than a question. His voice carried a weight you hadn’t heard before.
You swallowed hard.“I don’t need it,” you said softly, though your heart screamed otherwise. “I’m okay.”
He stepped back slightly, his expression unreadable. For a moment, you thought he’d let it go. But then he spoke, “Kiss… make you happy.”
Your chest ached at the simplicity of his words, the sincerity behind them. He didn’t understand. He didn’t know how much more it hurt to keep pretending, to keep grasping at something that wasn’t real.
“It’s not about that,” you said, your voice trembling. “I’m okay. Really.”
Mr. Silvair didn’t respond. Instead, he nodded slowly, and turned away.
In the days that followed, he grew quieter. His usual precision faltered, his movements distracted. He still cared for you, still treated you with the same careful attention, but the pauses- the moments where he’d once leaned in for a kiss- were now filled with silence.
One evening, after he injected the medicine into your arm, you heard him speak from across the room. “No kiss… you not happy.”
Your breath caught in your throat, and you turned your head to look at him. He sat at his desk, his hands clasped tightly together, his head bowed.
“It’s not that simple,” you whispered, tears stinging your eyes. You blinked them back. Just how much more of this could you take before you break fully, and he couldn’t put you back together anymore?
He looked up, his bandaged eyes meeting yours as though he could see straight through you. “Me not enough?”
The words broke something inside you. Because he wasn’t enough- not for what you wanted, not for what you needed. But the truth was, you weren’t enough for him either. You couldn’t make a man who doesn’t understand like you. Any attempt was futile.
So you stayed silent, letting the weight of your unrequited feelings hang in the air between you.
Days passed, and the silence between you and Mr. Silvair grew heavier, though neither of you addressed it directly. You carried the weight of your feelings alone, trying to convince yourself that distancing was the right choice. Meanwhile, his quiet melancholy lingered, each unspoken word from him carving a deeper ache in your chest.
But then, one evening, everything changed.
You sat on the bed, fiddling absentmindedly with the corner of your raincoat. Mr. Silvair had been working at his desk for hours, his silver hair catching the faint light as he scribbled notes and adjusted instruments. You thought he was too absorbed in his research to notice you, but suddenly, he turned.
“I…” he began, his voice hesitant, and he stood up, walking toward you with slow, deliberate steps.
You glanced up, startled. “What is it?”
He stopped just in front of you. Your legs hung off the bed. “You… stay sad,” he said, his voice quieter than usual. “No pain. No hurt. Shape good. Mind good. Why?”
The question hit you harder than you expected. You took a shaky breath and shrugged. “It’s… hard to explain.”
“Explain,” he pressed, his tone more insistent. “Want you happy.”
It was as if someone had dumped ice cold water on top of you. Want you happy. Why? He shouldn’t have cared in the first place if you were happy or not- he should’ve just cared that you were sound of mind, and not trying to kill everything in this place. Your hands shook. Your breathing picked up. Your heart hammered uncomfortably against your rib cage.
Your fists clenched. You scowled. “Why care?” I’m nothing but a subject. “Me… only research.”
Your question caught him by surprise. He frowns, and takes a seat next to you on the bed. Mr. Silvair is silent for a moment, processing, thinking. “Not-...” he stops himself. You gaze at him from the corner of your eye, his fists clenching and unclenching in his lap. “Not only research.”
Great. Friendzoned.
“You don’t understand,” you say, “You don’t feel like I feel, Mr. Silvair. You can’t understand.” And under your breath, you utter, “Told me that a million times already…”
“Teach me,” he said simply.
Your breath caught at his words. They were so simple, so stark in their honesty, yet they cut through all your swirling thoughts. Teach him? How could you possibly teach someone like Mr. Silvair something as complex, as human, as love? Did he even have the capacity for it?
You stared at him, analysing. Was he being… for real? His bandaged eyes stared intently at you as if he could see straight into the messed up web of your emotions. His lips, which had been both your salvation and your torment, were pressed together in a slight, thoughtful frown.
“Teach you…” you repeated, your voice trembling. “How?”
He tilted his head. “Teach ‘kiss,’” he pointed out softly. “Teach this. This feeling.”
You knew better than to believe in it. He didn’t know what it meant to love, not in the way you felt it, not in the way humans could. He was a scientist, a researcher, so lost in his experiments that he’d forgotten what it meant to simply feel without measuring it, calculating it, dissecting it into pieces. He wanted to understand, yes- but could he really?
“Can’t…” you mumbled. “I don’t think I can. Cannot learn to feel. You don’t feel like me.”
Mr. Silvair’s frown deepened, and he reached out, his cold fingers brushing yours. The touch was hesitant, almost unsure, but it made your heart ache all the same. “Feel... something,” he said, voice low. “When you sad, me… don’t like.”
You stared at him, startled. It wasn’t a declaration of love, not by any means, but it was more emotion than you’d ever heard from him before. More than you thought he could express.
“Why?” you whispered. “Why do you care if I’m sad?”
He hesitated again, his fingers tightening slightly around yours. You half expected an Me interested in you, but… “You… important,” he said haltingly, as though the words themselves were foreign to him. “You hurt, me feel wrong. Dislike. Interested in you… care you.”
Your heart ached. “You’re serious?”
He nodded. “Want you happy. Interested… learn. Want learn.”
For the first time in what felt like forever, hope stirred in your chest. It wasn’t perfect, and it wasn’t the fairy tale romance you’d dreamed of, but it was real.
“Then… let’s figure it out. Together.”
A faint smile tugged at his lips. “Together.”
This time, when he leaned in, you didn’t pull away. The kiss was still awkward, still unsure, but it carried a warmth that hadn’t been there before—a promise, fragile but genuine.
And for the first time, you felt like maybe, just maybe, you’d found a place to call home. Not in a room or a world, but in the arms of someone who wanted to learn how to care for you as much as you cared for him.

out of your league - paul x reader
AN: Seventeen entire parts have been loved and supported and i cant thank you all enough ! hugs and kisses
<<prev
It wasn't annoying. It was in fact was soothing. The soft snore in your ear lets you know he was getting some type of sleep. One hand was under his head as he faced you. His face is very close to the side of your face.
You haven't made the effort or plans to move out of the bed. Tomorrow, you would have to leave him.
An entire week.
You remember the last time you haven't been around him for that long. Thinking back, you didn't know how you survived since it was way longer than a week.
A soft poke in your cheek startled you a bit, Paul's wide awake eyes looking back at you. You sigh.
"Sleeeep." you tell him with seriousness.
He just comfortably looks at you. Simply, defying you.
You look at him back.
"Sam gave me off today." Paul says quietly, still staring at you.
A small grin forms your face. "Good. You have all day to get some rest." you tell him.
"Except, I'm not." He says.
You shake your head in amusement at him. Nothing was said for a moment. You both basked in each other's presence. Your eyes were very curious as you paid attention to Paul. You paid attention to the blanket that barely covered his naked body.
You look away from the sight but a hand snatches your chin back to the sight. His once flaccid body part that was laying over was now sticking straight up. His hand takes yours and place it around it, making you stroke as he gives an encouraging groan.
You sit up straighter. At the same time, you both licked your lips.
"We just did it until the sun came up." you whisper to him, his intense hungry gaze made you nervous.
He sits up a bit straighter, displaying a wicked smile that made your stomach do backflips. Placing a sensual peck on your lips he makes a devilish suggestion, "Do you want me to do all of the work?"
Words were caught in your throat as the velvety sound of his voice and his predatory eyes wrapped you tight. He leans up to steal another kiss, but you soon find yourself already under him due to his hands rearranging your position.
Both of your hands were soon gripping the sheet under you as you looked down at the sight. You made heavy breathy noises as you felt like you were losing your mind. He hasn't been lapping at you long and your legs were already quivering.
You have one hand that gripped a handful of his hair as you push him back a bit, the feeling was intense. He did nothing but scoot you closer, making your head flop backwards, back down on the bed as your knees were now separated by your head. He dove right in with his mouth, sucking and licking your soul away. He wasn’t shy with making noises. You both were soon synchronizing noises as he felt good that you felt good.
Your body wouldn't stop moving on it own as you had trouble focusing on reality. Paul made it no better, as he felt all over you still with his hands while you were high with euphoria, making you moan just with his touches, you were sensitive. You crawl away and lay on the bed as you clenched your legs together with a case of the trembles, not wanting him to touch what was between there. It was overworked.
Your face was scrunched and a few stray tears came out of your eyes. You pant as you try to catch your breath. You push Paul's greedy hands away as you turn from him. Silently sobbing a bit. You soon found yourself being dragged by your ankles to the end of the bed. He stood over you as he made half of your lower body be hung off of the bed. He kept your knees by your head. The thrusts were slow, you felt every inch as your body clung onto him. You hissed as he kept pulling himself out completely before slowly sliding back into you.
He then leaned forward, making you clutch and claw at him as he rolled his hips sensually.
"You're mine right?" he whispers as you heard the wetness of yourself be heard as he slid back into you.
"Mhm." you say, hoping its coherent for him to understand. He now had your legs over his shoulders.
"Say it." he whispers as he slowly pulled himself out again. Your body instantly missed him and was screaming for him to come back.
"I'm yours. You're mine." you say breathy but prettily before a groan is followed up. Paul picked his pace up, making you lose your breath.
A plate was slid towards you as you blushed. Paul leaned to place a kiss near your ear as you looked at the breakfast he made you.
He sits near you as you both dig in. Halfway of your plate being empty, you look up with your cheeks full, to Paul's quiet snickering as he's looking at you.
Swallowing, you ask him, "What?"
"Worked up an appetite, huh?" he teasingly asks and you roll your eyes as this only makes him laugh. You couldn't help but look down and crack a small smile of your own.
He rises to take his empty plate and takes it into the kitchen. You rise as you are finished, meeting him in the kitchen. He takes your plate and before you know it, you’re almost the same height as him. Underneath your legs, you feel the cold counter surface.
Paul steps in between you and gives you a sensual opened mouth kiss. You press his chest back subtly with a couple of your fingers. His mouth sloppily moves to your ear and to the side of your neck. You try to jump off of the counter but when you moved forward, his bulge just hits your direct sex. He fully takes advantage of your limited clothing, the only thing that you had on was your underwear and a cotton t shirt.
You make a surprised sigh as you realize your breasts were displayed before him, his hands had scrunched your shirt up to show you off.
“Paul.” you say only to gain his attention, but he thinks its motivation as his face is now pressed onto your soft tissue that lay upon your chest.
Two large hands support your back as your body arches to him.
You’re not on the counter anymore. You’re in his arms, pouring back into the kiss he was giving you while he adjusts his naked self into your opening.
You squeeze your eyes shut as he stands and thrusts up in you. Your hips don’t know which way to move as your insides are being scraped all around. The flame of pleasure builded up as you whisper his name and oh my god’s. This didn’t slow him down. He was so strong as he manually made your body meet with his. His grunts got heavier as he made your body move in ways you never thought would come from you.
He turns and lays you on your side on the table. You look at him and he leans captures your mouth with a tongue filled kiss. The side of your body moved up and down as your mouth hang open. Paul rocked forward into you and your breaths were hitched. Your hand then grabs onto the arm that belonged to the hand that rested and gripped the skin on the side of your hip as you both shook as both climaxes were reached.
You look at him as you feel cozy. You both were under the blanket, facing each other with nude bodies pressed together. It was intimate as the silence surrounded both of you. You didn’t want to move. He didn’t want to move.
A slow drunk smile stretched across your face, softly with low energy you break the silence, “I didn’t even pack yet.”
Paul blinks and hums out a response.
That’s when his eyelids started to droop. You stay still so he could lose the battle of going to sleep but his body jerks lightly as he blinks his eyes open. His eyes focused back onto yours. You huff out an annoyed but very soft sigh, “Why won’t you sleep?” you question him.
He hums an I don’t know noise.
You move your body a bit as you humorously tell him in a low voice, “You know.”
He then closed his eyes, mushing himself even more against you and he gets comfortable. He breaths out a sigh before speaking, “I know you better answer me when you go.”
“Look at you, being bossy.” you say as a small laugh shake you both.
“It’s going to be hell. An entire week of hell.” he says.
“It’s not. I’m not being drafted for war.” you say as you look about.
“It feels like it.” he says low to the point where you felt lucky that you were able to catch what he said.
“I could’ve made you something before I left. To remember me by.” you say.
“I’d rather remember what you feel like.” he says his hands demonstrating his claim.
Your eyes flutter closed a bit before seeing a dark and lustful look on his face. You scoot back a bit but his body weight is heavy.
Swiping a strong stroke with his fingers on your sensitive center, you groan and squeeze your eyes shut.
“Please, Paul.” you whisper to him as you shake your head a bit.
He does nothing but drag your body over him. Your body clutches to him as you pull out of his sloppy kiss and sit up. A hand immediately cups your boob. Hissing at the sensation, you gently climb off of him.
“Just one more.” he says quietly as he pulls on your arm and placed his lips close under your eye.
“I would like to still know how to walk.” you say to him but this makes him darkly chuckle.
“Okay fine. Let’s cuddle.” he says and you scoot back over to him.
You turn over, he’s hard pressed against you but it’s nice and intimate. His flutters of breath tickle across your cheek as he lay close.
Your eyes fall close, feeling a wave of total relaxation. You started to drift but couldn’t go into the wonders of dreamland as you felt something wet and ticklish in your ear. Something ticklish was brushing against your hip and as you look down to see the head of stiff flesh staring right back at you. Your eyes squeeze shut as your breath turn shaky as you kept feeling the moist tongue trace the outline and anatomy of your ear. The grunts and groans that were made just for you, it made you open your mouth. It was as if you two rehearsed it, you both were matching each other’s tone, his fingers pressed and caressing your sensitive pearl.
Feeling familiar hardness grind against that same sensitive spot , made you drool as he made a way to keep his fingers there and rhythmic pleasure waved throughout your body.
Your eyes were closed as your chest was rising up and down, calming down from your intense orgasm. He didn’t even stick it in and you fell apart this hard.
You feel covers being slid off of your naked body as you pop your eyes open. A very naked Paul has the covers in his hands as he stares at you.
“Come with me.” he says as he drops one of his hands and thrusts it forward to you. You tiredly take it as he effortlessly pulls you off of the bed, the front of your body is held and pressed to him as he carried you the entire way into the water of the shower.
He lets you slowly slide down, your breasts slides down on his chest as he let you down to your wobbly legs. He grabs a bit of soap and lathers a small amount, smoothing over your chest. You held your lips in as you squinted, he enjoyed the view very much. He nipped and pulled at your nipples with his fingers and your body agreed with his touches. He caressed the front of you as he took his time to really cup and grope you.
You copy him, but only to stroke him The soap acted as lube. You use two hands. His fingers travel to the sides of your face. He cradled your cheeks as you sensually pump all of him. His tongue circled yours as you use one hand to stroke the two balls of flesh that were between him. You felt as he buck his hips to what you were doing to him. You didn’t care that the kisses were sloppy and Paul definitely didn’t.
You grabbed a towel as you both were finally managed to get clean. Paul leaves the bathroom still naked before you could fully wrap your towel around your body. You move into the bedroom to find him still stiff and ready to go as he lay up on his back. He glances over to you as soon as you could process the room.
He soon has your towel on the ground as you cross your arms at the coldness in the air. He manhandles you a bit, keeping you to his lips, as he’s now acting needy for physical affection.
You were very sensitive to the touch, you started to whine a bit as he lifted you right back into bed with him.
“I will sleep. Just ride me, baby.” he says in between kisses, the urgency didn’t turn you off as you catch wind of his heated eyes.
The muscles between your legs were sore, you sink down slowly. With Paul so eager, he takes over and you’re pressed back on top of him. Paul didn’t notice the tiny breaks of skin that formed on his arms from your fingernails. His mind was too far gone and too mushed to even understand. Both of your insides licked one another as cries for each other reached an all time peak.
You tiredly fall away from him with a flop on the bed. Laying on your stomach, you head is faced away from him as you still feel his touches.
You felt yourself drift off to sleep.
To your surprise, when you woke up, the sky was dark, making the room dark. A hard body was smushed to you, you couldn’t turn your head due to this. You did hear the faint and soft sound of Paul snoring. You listened and you could tell that the sleep he was getting was much needed.
You let your eyelids close again. His breathing and soft snoring let you know he wasn’t waking up any time soon.
“Good.” you thought to yourself and drifted off.
You woke with a shake this time. You blink your eyes open to the light that was turned on.
You rise up quickly and look to Paul.
“What time is it?” you ask in worried state. He’s not worried. He tells you it’s only very late into the night. The covers fall from your body as you slump with sigh of relief.
Paul reached over and pull the nape of your neck to him and you pull back to where you’re looking at him slowly open his eyes back up.
“I still have to pack.” you say and try to move but he holds you at bay.
”Look.” he says softly and jet his eyes to get you to look.
A full suitcase. You look to him as he moved closer and you place two hands on his shoulders. You rise out of bed and he watched you the entire way.
You don’t even notice your naked body at the moment as you take set the suitcase on a space on the bed as you take a peak.
There wasn’t anything that you could think of or comment on, for things that you were missing. He knew what you would’ve brought. You chuckle a bit as you saw the clothes that he packed weren’t even ugly outfits. You look at him with a twinkle in your eye.
“One day you’ll trust me.” Paul plainly comments with two arms behind his head as he watched you.
“One day you’ll be my stylist.” you joke.
He does nothing but wet his lips a bit as he lets it known he’s staring at your body, “You’d wear nothing.”
He's looking down at you with his bottom lip inward as both of your ankles are held up by only one of his hand.
Your entire body feels hot as his hips roll forward to reach all of you. Your body shakes as well as your voice. You felt achy but, he was making new places feel achy. Your ankles are now over his shoulders as he reaches new heights with you.
You both catch your breath as your body is shake your head slightly, you felt like you couldn’t move.
“How? How can you do it?” you asked in a whisper as he glanced over at you with a soft sigh, “It’s your fault.”
You nudge him while laying in your lazy spot, “My fault?”
“You’re the one who’s making me so fucking horny.” he says as he closed his eyes and pulled you close.
You lay close to him as an idea pops in your head.
“We should eat before I have to leave.” you suggest.
He kept touching you while you were trying to cook breakfast food. It was now near dawn and your time was ticking down.
He wouldn’t let you sit in your own seat. You were seated in his lap as he ate with one hand. He looked at you more than the food he put in his mouth.
You dressed slowly as he watched you. Each article of clothing that was placed on your body, his face got sadder and sadder. Fully dressed down to socks you step in between his legs as you cup his cheeks.
“I will just cancel. Screw them.” you say as he closed his eyes and still managed to pull out a small smile. He rubbed down your back with his hands as he says, “Don’t do that.”
“I will. I hate leaving you like this.” you say to him and reach to press your lips on different spots of his face.
“Come on, I don’t want you to miss your flight.” he says and his voice was thick.
You kept a hand in his as he drove. He was the one who kept conversation flowing in the car. He didn’t let silence fill the air. You were thankful for this.
The drive to the airport seemed short. As if there was not enough time. You slowly got out of the car as he gave you your suitcase.
Both of your arms wrapped tight around him and you felt tightness. You didn’t know what was wrong with you. You shuddered and felt your face get hot before he rubs your back, “Please don’t do this to me now. You’re making me feel fucked up.” he says with a chuckle.
You brush your eyes with one swipe as you join his chuckle, “I’m sorry. I’m really going to miss you.”
He dropped his head to place a lengthy kiss on your lips. Making out against the car, you held each other close.
He’s the one who pulls back, he takes a glance at your face as he doesn’t know how to feel. You feel empty as your hand is on your suitcase.
He stares back at you. He looked like he wanted to say something but he chose not to. He didn’t know if it was the right time or not. He watches you take a hand in your pocket, you give him a folded piece of paper.
“Don’t read it until you get home, okay?” you ask him. He nods. You take him in with your eyes.
“Go, Y/N. You’re going to miss your flight. Call me as soon, and I mean as soon as you land.” he says and you nod and your head is back on his warm chest.
You hated that you slept as much as you did today. You were wide awake. You envied the couples that got to excitedly chat about the new experiences they were going to have with each other. You sigh as you check your phone, something you haven’t done at all.
Bella left you two messages. Two different times.
“Hey i’m working on my scrapbook today do you want to come over?”
“I don’t know when you’re leaving but be safe!”
You type back.
“Sorry. I’m just now seeing this :/ i’m at the airport now :) thank you”
You press send.
You decide to text Paul.
“I miss you already 😞”
You watch as he is typing something back to you.
“I miss you more”
You kept rereading it.
You click in your seatbelt as the pilot announces where the flight is going. You’re glad your seat is a window seat. You were glad that you bought the cd player. You got comfortable as music drifted into your ears.
You found a small piece of charcoal in your jacket pocket and doodled for some time. Time passed and you didn’t realize that the entire cd was over and you heard the muffled sounds of your surroundings.
You rip out and over fold the picture that you created in your sketchbook and stuff it in your jacket pocket. The plane lands and you move through the airport.
As you talk to Paul, your face morphs into sadness.
“Soak in everything.” he says to you on the line.
“I will. I can’t wait to come back home already.” you say with somber. Saying your goodbyes, you type to John that you’ve arrived. Almost immediately, he sends you a location for later on to meet him at.
You agree and come out of the airport with your suitcase wheeling behind you. You don’t even process the new city air because your body freezes.
A pair of amber eyes make their debut in your eyesight.
You see a car door open as you start to frown. You see a glimpse of his sparkling teeth as he looks to the side and grins.
“We’re not spending any time together.” you say to him with your arms crossed.
“Do you have a ride?” he asks.
“I have somewhere to be.” you say and turn to walk away but a cold hand halts you.
“I can take you.” he insists calmly.
“No.” you answer dryly as you try to book a ride.
“There’s no use in spending money.” he says with a ridiculed grin.
A singular rain drop slaps you on your hand as you held your phone. You gasp and look up to the sky and see Edward with that same grin.
“Just go away. I need to focus for tonight and I’m not letting you or anyone mess it up for me.” you hiss and never taking your eyes away from him, letting him know that you’re clear. He’s not grinning anymore as he lets you finish.
“Don’t get stuck in the rain at least.” he says as his keys, that are dangling from his hand, are looking right back at you.
The light patter started to get heavier as you scowl at the sky with a huff.
"Are you cold?" he asks as the sound of windshield wipers follow after him.
"I have my jacket." you say as you stare out the window. A perfect mixture of lights and people.
You then hear and feel trickles of heat make its way onto your body, the vent in front of you blowing softly. You roll your eyes in your head.
"You don't even know what hotel I'm staying at." You state with narrowed eyes as he maneuvers his way through traffic.
"What hotel are you staying at?" he questions back as his liquid gold eyes surf the road.
You don't say anything as you realize you don't know your way around the city.
He then glanced in your direction but down, "It's fine. I know my way around."
You look to him as honks are in the background, "You read my mind this time?" you ask.
He grins and shakes his head, "No, it was just written over your face."
You look at the place he's slowing down to. You know what you came here with, this was definitely out of your reach. The architecture alone looked expensive to look at.
"Um..." you mutter as Edward gives his keys to the valet and your bag is taken through the door.
Edward speaks before you could say anything.
"I will leave you to it." he says as he stands in the hallway with you. You were outside of your door, a mobile key now in your possession.
"Not so fast. Why are you doing this?" you ask. You didn't need anyone to buy you anything.
"Alice booked your room for you. I had nothing to do with it." he says.
"You could've told me."
"Why, so you could run away?" he asks with a smirk.
You narrow your eyes at him as you close the heavy door.
After a shower, you sat with your phone in your hand and pressed on a contact name to make a phone call.
"Hello?" the high voice answers.
"Alice, I'm booking my own room." you say but she cuts you off, "No, please. It's your first time here and it has to be perfect." she says.
"Here? Wait, you're here too?" you inquire.
A knock is sharp on the door as you open it to find the petite vampire in front of your door. You're in shock as she almost knocked you over from a hug.
"So, how do you think of it so far?" she asks and you cross your arms. You look as she tried to cheer you up, "I don't want you or anybody to pay for my stay here."
"Y/N, I do anything for my friends. You will have a good time here." she says with a convincing smile and tone, she glances at the outfit that you're wearing.
"Where are you meeting him?" she asks.
You show her the location as you didn't know your way around.
"Hm. It's not too fancy." she comments as she reads the restaurant name.
You look at the time on your phone and you hear soft thud on the bed. You look to find another pair of pants that were in your suitcase, laying there.
"It would be a good idea to wear these instead." she says. You give her a look and she adds on, "You will feel comfortable. Trust me."
Sighing, you quickly change and you start to put your jacket on. She walks you out all the way to the lobby and hugs you again, "Be safe. Call me!"
You stare out the window as the driver, she also paid for, drove you to the destination. Stepping out of the car, you felt a bit nervous as you went inside.
You didn't have to wonder where John was as his table was a bit more lively than others. Tearful laughs were circling the table as you slowly walked. Wiping his eye, John sobers up and waves you over.
He shoved the man sitting next to him in the arm and point to you.
"This is Y/N." he says as if you were a huge prize. It actually made you blush and gasps went around the table.
"Oh my god. Sit down." The man, who introduces himself as Mark, turns to you. Both hands are up and he looks ahead for a second as he tells you, "I cannot believe your mind. Can I borrow it?"
This makes you relax and smile, "Take it."
"Seriously. I'm so glad you're here. How long are you going to be staying for?" he asks you with great interest.
"A week." you simply answer.
A frown is formed, "That's it?" he quickly sobers up, "Never mind. I guess its best to get things out of the way quickly."
The conversation was interesting. You both forgot about the other around the table as you both poured and splashed ideas around. You both were quite fond of one another as he was deeply into fashion. He was dying for something fresh and different and you were dying for something more challenging. His show was happening at the end of the week and he wanted to squeeze a creation by you.
"I don't know how to make clothes." you say with a laugh.
"I need you to paint a portrait of the model I'm going to use. I'm a co-editor for my friend's issue of the magazine.” he says with excitement.
As you both walk toward the exit, he gives you his personal number, telling you he will set everything up for tomorrow. He then says, "You should come with me, I'm meeting someone for a party."
The first thing you wanted to do was tell Paul everything.
"It's okay. I had a pretty long day. I flew in today." you say.
"And then what happened?" Paul asked you as he looked at you through the video call.
"He invited me out to stay out but, I'm pretty tired." you say. You see that he's not saying anything but staring, you call out to him.
"Paul?"
Not moving, he says, "Yeah?"
"What's wrong, you got quiet on me." you say with a chuckle.
"I miss you." he simply says.
"I miss you too." you say, quietly and you couldn’t believe how the simple action made you still blush.
Paul stared at the screen, he didn’t want to talk, he just wanted to look at you. Little to your knowledge, beside him, he held the corolla you gave to him some time ago. He always kept it, his fingers repeatedly traced over it as you both contently blinked at each other. You both wanted to reach out to each other through the screen.

To Love An Emperor
Apparently a few of you also wanted to see Caracalla being a crying pathetic mess so he is a little something I wrote on my dinner break today
@byronking @ange-olras you guys all asked on my original post so I hope this is what you wanted ❤️
Part 2
A small servant girl broke the peace of your chambers, the large wooden door scraping across the tile caused you to snap your head away from your book, staring at her silently as you awaited what commands she had been sent to give you.
You watched the petite young thing bow before you, he voice soft and high pitched as she spoke. "The Emperor has summoned you, my Lady". It did not take you long to figure out which one had summoned you to his chambers before you nodded to her and waved her away. With a sigh you closed your book for the night and began to dress yourself, you did not think the the Emperor would care if you were in your night dress but manners and respect dictated you would present yourself in a manner beffiting of him.
The long walk to the royal chambers gave you time to steel yourself for what you were about to deal with, it must have been another one of those days in the council chamber, Geta shouting and and throwing things around the room, something that had become all to frequent as of late.
Your footsteps echoed down the hallway as you approached your destination, surely the Emperor would hear you approaching and be ready to recieve you. Gently you pushed the guilded door open, not wanting to make too much noise and disturb him further. As you stood in the door way you spotted Caracalla perched on the end of his bed, his head in his hands, he had been crying again.
You sat slowly beside him on the bed, wrapping an arm around his shoulder, gently rubbing it trying to reassure him somewhat, not that it ever worked before. In one swift movement Caracalla moved to kneel on the marble floor before you, pushing himself between your, wrapping his arms tightly around your waist and burying his head into the fabric covering your chest. You could hear his muffled sobs against your chest as you stroked the back of his head, waiting for him to stop. Geta must have been particularly brutal to him today, you had heard the vituperative way he spoke to him before and it certainly would have broken a lesser man a long time ago.
"Why does my own flesh and blood treat me this way? Is it not enough that he tried to kill me in the womb but now to kill my spirit as well?" You never answered him, you knew he didn't ever want an answer, he just wanted to vent out his feelings someone who would not report back to his brother, making him look weaker than he already felt around him.
After a while the tears stopped, lifting his head away from your chest, your clothes now wet from his tears. Caracalla sunk further down onto his knees, his sad wet eyes looking up at you, pleading for love and acceptance, you had been the only one to ever understand him.
His hands gripped at the fabric on your waist, clinging so tight as if you would disappear from him. "You love me don't you? You think I'm good enough?" The tears began to well in his again, threatening to spill forth once more, making his blue eyes sparkle like sapphires, his voice shakey and desperate.
You cupped his face in your soft hands, smiling as you felt him lean into your touch, craving as much of it as he could get. You stroked the tears away from his cheeks and placed a delicate kiss upon his head. "Of course my Emperor" Your words soothed his tears and ignited him at the same time, feeling his lips crash roughly against your own. Caracalla did not care if you meant those words or not, it was all he wanted to hear, to feel your affection and to be loved.

Kwon x reader who is a daredevil? Plz and thx 🙏
anon sent another ask and mentioned they want a female reader for this, sorry for all the dudes out there reading this + also gave the plot lol, a bit suggestive too btw (less than the other) so here we go chat
After managing to be one of the top 3 dojos on the board at the Sekai Taikai tournament, your teammates in Cobra Kai decided to celebrate at a bar.
You, of course, accepted without hesitation.
“Really? You aren’t tired?” Kwon asked, slightly amused.
“Darling, those matches I had today were barely even warm-ups. Besides, if it’s a bar? It will be tons of fun–I can’t miss it.” You answered with a mischievous grin.
Kwon chuckled, “Right. You always make things entertaining.. that’s what I love about you.”
“I know.”
· · ·
The lights flickered with vibrant colors as the music blasted away once you entered the bar— but you weren’t interested in the lights or the rhythm of the music playing. You looked around the place, noticing how the Miyagi-Do members were there as well.
Perfect.
You were going to make the best out of tonight.
What started as a simple celebration quickly turned into competition. A challenge was given, of who could hold their liquor the longest.
After several rounds, it was finally your turn. Your opponent? Samantha LaRusso from Miyagi-Do. You stood across from her, noticing how her eyes were bright with determination— even the way she spoke, you could tell she was sure about winning.
But did it stop you? No way.
“Ready to lose?” Sam asked, forcing a smile as she was given a glass, you could tell she was trying to hold back from saying a remark.
You smiled back, nodding slowly. “It’s okay to hallucinate. There’s treatment for it now.”
Your teammates, along with members from other dojos laughed out loud, but you paid no attention to it. You stared at her face, noticing how she was slightly hesitant, but tried to cover it up.
Sam was too predictable.
You raised your glass and downed the first shot with ease. The tingly sensation burning your throat, but didn’t affect you much otherwise.
The next few shots were poured, the sounds of the bottle clinking with glass. The tension was rising, neither of you backing down just yet.
Sam kept going. She was determined to knock your dojo out of their ego by winning. Knocking her glass back, Sam signaled at her readiness.
Another round. You both exchanged a nod. As you looked over your shoulder, you noticed no one was pouring into either of your glasses.
“Hey!” You called out. “Bring us another one of those whatchamacallits”
“What the hell..”
You swallowed the drink with little effort, keeping an eye on Sam. Every time she took a shot, you saw how her breathing changed. It was subtle—but still there. She was hesitating more by the second.
The crowd was becoming louder, and soon, your dojo began to chant out your name, amplifying your confidence as you felt a rush of adrenaline by their support. Sam was starting to slow down—her movements, to each shot taking a little longer to consume.
“Getting tipsy already, Sam? Too bad.” You said, feigning concern.
You could hear Sam’s breath hitch, ignoring your comment as she drank from her glass. You grinned, sensing her struggle. It was clear now — she wasn’t going to last much longer.
Taking the last shot without hesitation and savoring the lingering after taste, you watched as Sam swayed slightly before stumbling back, falling to the ground. Her body was no longer able to handle the alcohol. The room erupted into cheers and laughter at the loss of Miyagi-Do’s captain.
Devon quickly rushed over, placing an arm over her shoulders as Miguel held onto Sam’s side.
“Well, well..what does it feel like to see that your captain lost?” Kwon spoke up, walking up to you from behind as he placed a hand on your waist.
Miguel clenched his fist as he was about to retort, before Devon stopped him. “Don’t. We need to get Sam back to her room.” She said, looking away.
The rest of the Miyagi-Do members left the bar without saying anything else, leaving your team and the others to celebrate your victory.
“Since you won,” Kwon started, tucking your hair behind your ear, “Do you want your reward?” He whispered, a hand pressed on the zipper of your dress.
“Of course. I’m up for more fun after all.” Taking his hand in yours, you walked out of the bar.

i fear the only thing i can write anymore is the curtis boys as kids BUT PLS THEYRE EVERYTHING TO ME and also they’re so tragic once they get older i love when they can just be happy :((
that being said, here is toddler ponyboy getting sick and darry being a little hero❤️🩹
darry heard ponyboy crying before the toddler had pushed the bedroom door open. he sat up in bed, careful not to ruffle the blankets covering soda. it already took him long enough to fall asleep, he didn’t need darry waking him up in the middle of the night.
darry’s eyes landed on his little brother standing in the patch of moonlight shining through the window, his face flooded with tears and his bottom lip trembling. he had thrown his too-small baby blanket around his shoulders in an effort to keep himself warm, and darry quickly realized it was because he was no longer in his pajamas.
“oh, pony,” darry reached down and grabbed the blanket from the foot of the bed. “c’mere, you’re gonna freeze.”
pony ran over to him and jumped up into darry’s arms, letting his big brother wrap him up in the warm blanket. darry pulled pony into his lap, holding him close. every inch of pony’s skin was drenched in cold sweat and darry could feel him trembling.
“hey, it’s okay, can you tell me what happened?” darry tucked pony’s head under his chin, enveloping his baby brother in as much warmth as he could, even though his skin was already hot to the touch, which didn’t do much to ease darry’s growing anxiety.
“i…” he sniffled, his voice trembling. “i threw up…”
“in your bed?” darry asked gently, and ponyboy nodded nervously, his watering eyes like huge glass orbs in the moonlight. “oh baby, i’m so sorry.”
“i don’t feel good,” pony hiccuped.
“no, i bet you don’t,” darry soothed, rubbing pony’s back and rocking them gently. “is that what happened to your pj’s?”
pony nodded and gave a shaky sob, burying his face in the front of darry’s shirt, “i’m sorry! i didn’t mean to!”
“hey, hey,” darry held pony’s face in his hand and met his eyes. “you’re sick, it’s not your fault, baby, you have nothing to be sorry for.”
“i didn’t want to! i… i…”
“breathe,” darry took an exaggerated breath that he knew pony would copy, trying to keep him calm as he pressed pony’s head to his heart while they breathed together. “don’t worry. you’re okay, it’s all over now, you don’t have to be scared.”
darry let ponyboy wear himself out crying before trying to remedy the situation. he was laying limply against darry by the time he had calmed himself down.
“how about this,” darry started, shuffling pony so that they could look at each other. “let’s get you a bath to get you feeling a little better and i’ll take care of your sheets. that sound okay?”
pony sniffled but eventually nodded, and darry scooped him up and carried him to the bathroom. in the dim light from the vanity, darry could see how miserable pony looked. his hair was almost slicked back with sweat, his skin was hot and clammy, and his nose and eyes were red and puffy.
after making sure the blanket was still securely wrapped around his brother, darry turned on the water, letting it run and warm up for a few moments before shutting off the drain. he turned back to ponyboy and smiled weakly, “i’m gonna go get some things for you, yell if you need me, okay?”
pony nodded, yawning and rubbing his eyes.
darry hurried out of the bathroom, throwing a couple towels into the dryer to warm up and stopping in the kitchen to pour each of them a glass of water, sticking a bendy straw into pony’s cup. when he came back, pony had gotten out of the rest of his clothes and was leaning his head against the wall with the blanket pulled over him, a hand over his stomach and his eyes glazed over.
darry knelt down in front of him, “can you drink some of this for me?”
pony whimpered, “…don’t wanna get sick again.”
“it’s just water, kiddo, it’ll help you feel better,” darry held up the cup for him, and he reluctantly leaned forward and took a small sip.
“there you go, good job, honey,” darry smiled at him, setting the cup down on the sink and turning off the tap. “i think your bath is all ready.”
ponyboy held out his arms and darry gently picked him up and set him down in the water, watching some of the tension in his face instantly dissolving. darry let pony sit in the hot water for a few minutes before he started helping him get cleaned up, swiping some of their mother’s sweet scented shower gel.
it was a mark of how awful pony was feeling that he didn’t complain that darry hadn’t put in any bubble bath or given him any toys, didn’t try to splash darry like he always did or complain about the water temperature. he just sat quietly and let darry help him, squeezing his eyes shut and tilting his head back as darry washed his hair.
“look at you with your hair all slicked back,” darry smiled as he rinsed shampoo out of his little brother’s hair. “someone’s gonna mistake you for a greaser.”
pony gave him a weak smile and a short puff of breath that might have been a vague attempt at a laugh. darry could see his eyelids drooping the longer he stayed in the water, the perfume of the soaps heavy in the air and making both of them feel drowsy and dizzy.
“darry?” a new voice came from the doorway behind them. darry turned around to see soda standing and watching them, a blanket around his shoulders and his stuffed dog under his arm. “what’re you doing?”
“hey, pepsi,” darry gave soda half a smile. “i’m just helping pony, he’s not feeling so hot. you can go back to sleep, i’ll be there soon.”
soda’s eyes softened as his eyes locked on ponyboy, head leaned against the side of the tub and fighting to keep his eyes open. soda didn’t listen to darry, instead, he came over and sat down next to ponyboy, holding his hand gently.
“oh, darry, he’s gonna fall asleep right here,” he whispered. “it’s okay, honey, we all get sick sometimes.”
darry dried his hands quickly and set a hand on soda’s shoulder, “can you sit with him for a minute? i just want to get his sheets in the washer.”
soda nodded, reaching up to swipe away some of the water before it could drip into pony’s eyes. darry could hear them babbling tiredly to each other as he left, which eased some of the tension in his chest; maybe pony was feeling a little better, maybe he was helping.
he hurried back to the nursery and stripped off the bedding and grabbed pony’s pajamas off the floor, carefully bundling them all up and throwing it in the washer. he grabbed the warmed up towels from the dryer before heading back to the bathroom, stopping when he saw someone standing in the hallway.
“…hi mama.”
“darry, it’s so late, what are you doing up?”
she closed the gap between them and gently combed his hair out of his eyes before kneeling down so she was eye level with him.
he shuffled his feet nervously, “pony threw up, i was just helping him out.”
“you could have gotten me, honey,” she chuckled. “you don’t need to take care of all that yourself.”
“i know, he was so upset though…”
mama sighed, “where is he now?”
“in the bath,” darry shrugged. “he was all sweaty and shaky, i thought it would help.”
she kissed his forehead gently, “you did everything right. thank you, sweetheart, i’ve got it from here.”
he handed her one of the towels and followed her closely back to the bathroom. when they pushed the door open, soda’s arms were folded on the edge of the bathtub, pillowing pony’s head from the hard ceramic. pony’s eyes were closed and his breaths were deep.
soda turned around when he heard the door open, shushing them, “shh, he’s asleep.”
“oh, sweetheart,” mama hurried forward, knelt down next to soda, and pulled the drain out of the tub. “don’t tell me all of you are awake.”
“shh!” he shushed her louder.
“he can’t stay in the bathtub all night, soda,” she smiled at him. she reached over and gently tapped pony on the shoulder. “ponyboy, c’mon you’ve gotta get back to bed.”
pony’s eyes blinked open, and he seemed confused until he eyes landed on mama and he reached his arms out for her. she smiled sweetly at him and scooped him up with the towel and pulled him into her lap, not minding when he leaned his dripping hair against her chest. he drowned in the material, the towel four times too big for him. he snuggled into her and the warm towel, his little feet kicking soda absentmindedly.
“darry tells me you aren’t feeling well,” she rocked with him gently. “some tummy trouble, maybe?”
pony’s anxiety at her words was palpable, “i… i didn’t…”
“it’s okay,” she ran a hand through his hair. “i’m not mad, i just worry about you, baby.”
she reached up and grabbed his water cup from the sink, giving him the straw and letting him drink a little bit.
“you should all be asleep,” she set the cup back on the sink. “you two, go back to your room, i’ll come check on you soon.”
she stood up and sat ponyboy on the sink, starting to dry him off the rest of the way. darry motioned for soda to come along and they dragged themselves back to their room, exhaustion hitting both of them like a truck. darry pushed the covers back for soda and wasn’t shocked when his little brother burrowed into his arms.
after a few minutes, darry heard their door open and mama stood in their doorway with ponyboy on her hip in a fresh set of pajamas, looking like he was a few seconds away from falling asleep. she came over to the bed and adjusted the covers around both of them and pressed a kiss to both of their heads.
pony leaned forward, reaching for darry, so far that he fell out of mama’s arms and between darry and soda on the bed.
“baby, your brothers need to sleep,” she sighed, going to pick him up, but pony only dove between darry and soda.
“i wanna stay,” he whimpered, starting to tuck himself under their blankets.
mama sighed, “is it alright if your brother stays here tonight?”
darry and soda both nodded, scooting closer to ponyboy under the blankets and thoroughly sandwiching him between them.
“okay, then,” mama conceded. “i’ll see you in the morning, i love you.”
she ruffled ponyboy’s hair gently and left the room quietly.
“alright, baby, you get to stay with us, but you’ve gotta sleep, you need the rest to get better, yeah?” darry whispered, smiling as pony snuggled into his big brother.
“mmm, ‘kay,” pony mumbled, already almost asleep.
“yeah, and no throwing up on us!” soda joked, but he threw an arm over pony and flopped down onto the pillow.
they were all fast asleep within a few minutes.
