my s class hunters does a really good job at gradually raising the stakes without feeling like a pointless power creep and keeping me extremely invested and i keep saying this but I really do think it's bc it's a story grounded in love at every turn... the bond between the han brothers especially is extremely compelling and beautiful and makes me feel like a knife is being stabbed into my heart and twisted all around... i love them so so much 😞💔❤️‍🩹❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

#sometimes we need to let ourselves be haters. it is a truth rarely acknowledged. but you know it to be true.#just sitting here wondering wtf i watched #their weird fucking heads 😭😭😭#usually when i see a bad episode i try to find an angle to enjoy it from but today we've got nothing #but the sheer absurdity of which was daring bold and camp in concept and a bummer in execution #there are three main kinds of bad txf episode #the first is “oh my god why did no one tell them this was a terribly offensive thing to put on TV” (genderbender or excelsis dei)#or “oh my god this is horrifically out of character” (3 or certain episodes from late s2 where they are always arguing)#and the 3rd kind are the just boring episodes #here we got offensive while trying to deliver some sort of message (i think?) AND boring!#a unique and unprecedented combo!#lmao man. lmfao even #it was just. not good.#usually with the horribly offensive ones i am at least invested in the plot in a sort of “can't look away from a train wreck” sense #but here i was just like. okay. what do you want me to say.#LMAO it was just not very good!! i am a lover enough to hate the things i love sometimes.#it is not my least fave of all time tho... perhaps i shall make a ranking on those. the ones i will never ever watch again.#but i would say it places into my worst 10... maybe? i think so. yeah. at least my worst 15.#4x11

The Kageyamas start having movie nights as a bonding activity except Mob keeps wanting to watch action and cheesy romance movies and it kills Ritsu who only watches character study dramas and pretentious abstract bs

But then Mob calls Teru over to watch stuff with them and is joyous to find he also enjoys B movies and mindless fun so Ritsu has to sulk in the corner of the couch because he only understands the entertainment of needless violence when he's the one performing it

BUT he gets to pick a movie eventually and puts on some obscure film that's older than all of their ages combined and Mob falls asleep 15 mins in but Teru is like, really into it

They watch all of it in utter silence before spending the next few hours discussing themes and theories and interpretations and they disagree a good chunk of the time and argue about it in the most passive aggressive faux polite way possible but love every second of it that's Enrichment for them (Mob is still sleeping)

So movie nights turn into fights over which Kageyama gets to watch movies with Teru that day which isn't good for bonding with each other but it surely is for bonding with Teru

#additionally they add Shou into the mix who also absolutely adores dumb b movies so he can have some bonding time with mob too #theyre laughing their ass off watching bad cgi while riteru are reinventing philosophy in the background overanalysing bs #mp100 #mob psycho 100 #cine te a intrebat #kageyama ritsu #shigeo kageyama #hanazawa teruki #besides mob all of them dislike romance tho i feel #mob is SUCH a hopeless romantic hes the type to kick his feet and giggle while texting his crush (leveling cities is the Shigeo equivalent #of that thats how he expresses himself okay)#but shou doesnt like romance cause i do believe parents play a big role into how u view relationships and his are Like That #same logic for teru his are inexistent and his only romantic experience is dating girls cause he likes the attention but i heavily doubt he #was ever invested fr #i feel like both him and ritsu view dating/romance as smth vapid/shallow because theyre Popular Kids and it all feels meaningless #mob makes it his life mission to find a romance movie that WILL make them appreciate the genre first he has to convince them to actually #sit down and watch one #ok enough mob posting see u

#not like it makes a practical difference considering i only upload twice a year at best #but im realising how much my writing is shame motivated and its just not sustainable or healthy #it saddens me that these stories i invested So much time and effort into will probably never get finished #i wanna hold out hope that they will but #i dont want anyones expectations to be too high #bc knowing myself they probably wont #i started wgoin thinking that this would be the story i commit to finishing and not just abandon as soon as i get bored #but that was before i had really realised how my brain works #and for a while writing these chapters have felt very forced #gbgb had a much better run till it crashed and i was just unable to pick it back up #tbh that one could potentially still be saved bc of how open ended it is if i get any inspo for it back whatsoever #bc it had no strict plan i was entirely making it up as i go #and im realising thats how i write best. i tried to plan wgoin so id commit to finishing it but im realising that has the opposite effect #if i plan anything too thoroughly writing it becomes like gnawing on lead #cause i got all the dopamine out of the idea already #i write best when i have nothing but a vague idea or a vibe #gbgb crashed bc i ran out of vibes and ideas but if i find any again who knows #there is the possibility where i scrap the plan i had for wgoins entire plot and make the rest up as i go #which i might try purely bc i love the story sm #and i think i enjoyed writing it most back in the first three parts where i Was making it up as i went #which is why im saying indefinite hiatus instead of discontinued #bc there is hope for them. just not. much #so if u stick around maybe follow me on ao3 if u dont wanna see all my posts n just my stories #maybe in 3 years time youll see another wgoin notif or sumn #sorry to the small but dedicated handful of readers who really loved these fics #i wanted to write more for you guys bc ik its hard to find this kinda fic anywhere else; its why i started writing it #but i am but one unmedicated autist w severe adhd. we r working on the unmedicated part tho #ive learned so much abt how my brain functions now n how to make the most of it tho #i told myself id finish any new writing before i post it. so know anything new Will be complete :3 #mischiefing time

#its actually crazy that there was even more content i missed that impacted the story this much #like this rlly illustrated how even tho my character and astari0n have both become better people astari0n is still so behind in that #(we know why ofc. hes still acting like a feral cat trying to self preservere with teeth and nail and all until the very end; the ritual)#my character had his most obvious 'shifting point' at the transition from act 2 to act 3 #like he fully realized that this is now truly bigger than himself. he has left marks on the lands and he has to go all the way #he has made true friends. one of his best friends is the kindest most compassionate person in the world #and very importantly he loves astari0n and THAT is the reason he now feels this actual compassion towards the other spawn #hes so personally invested in this issue now #and he can say that 'the world can be a wonderful place if you find your home in it astari0n' bc its something he has just recently had #a personal revelation abt #and astari0n deflects it and describes my character as someone who now 'spends their life sorting out other peoples problems'#and it rlly brings it to focus that he just cannot meet him where hes at anymore #just great conflict that feels actually meaningful and perfectly fits into the roleplay storyline ive made for my character #and omg the line 'im doing this for you too you know. to make sure were both safe. forever' from astari0n is just AAAAAAHDJJDJD. CRAZY #bc we know how toxic he becomes towards you if he completes the ritual!!!!!!#HHHHH this character!!!!! hes just MWAH. perfection #i cant wait until i get to doing the szarr palace again bc this added conflict will make the conclusion of this quest even more satisfying #anyway TOTAL tonal shift time. in start of the cutscene astari0n is standing next to the bed my character was sleeping in #so i can now have the hc that some nights they sleep in the same bed <3 #(WELL. you know. my character sleeps while he meditates)

hm. i think i will ignore the last 8 episodes of arc v

#why does the writing. keep getting worse??#like i've actually been so invested in this but this is making me so angry???#why would i sit through a 5 episode long duel to end all duels just for. what even #if it were me.#i would have let them defeat zarc. uncorrupt yuya. have him live witj zarc and all the other yu boys SENTIENT personalities in his head #(treats them like a system. the others can front sometimes even)#AND WHILE THE 4 DIMENSIONS WERE STILL MERGING have the declan/yuya dueltaining duel of the century in order to show all 4 worlds rhat duels #are still for fun. and during the duel the other consciousnesses in yuya also get to take part and have fun #UNTIL FINALLY!! zarc remembers the duelist he was before. and he smiles. together he and the yu boys all deal the final blow to declan.#who just smiles acceptingly. the crowds from all 4 dimensions cheer about how fun the duel was. zarc chills out. yuya grounds himself from #the applause to look for zuzu and finds her holding riley who had passed out. they wake up and ask yuya if it's over. he says yes & they hug #we get a brief scene with all of the side characters from different dimensions as they reunite with family and friends. xyz is last tho #shay looks around at the people who have reunited with their families and starts to tear up because his is lost Forever.#saya kite and allen are all like 'that's not true.. we're here' shay's sobbing but he's like 'i'm not...' kite and allen laugh. saya smiles #suddenly the rest of the lancers come through and reach out to shay going 'hey now! our job's not done. we have a new mission'#and they begin traveling across dimensions together to help the rebuilding effort and to boost people's morale through dueltaining #the final scene is shay looking at zuzu (who is also lulu & celina & rin) and she smiles and hugs him so tightly bc they're still siblings #yuto and yuya smile super happily from afar until sora calls put 'hey!! slowpoke! are you coming or not??' yuya dashes off into a portal #with everyone else and yells 'wait for me!!' he nearly falls on his face and everyone laughs. zuzu reaches out her hand and he takes it #they all go into the portal and THE END #sorry that got long and rambly... DISREGARD #just know i hate the ending so much so far that i had to turn it off #sorry i used tye dub names it saves a couple letters in my 140 character tag limit....#chatter #lys watches arc v

wanted to give depeche mode a chance because i knew they probably wouldn't be my thing because i've listened to violator - i like violator besides 2 songs on it - and a few 80s singles but there were stuff I didn't like with violator and it seemed like a recurring issue so i haven't really given them an in-depth listen. thought i'd just go ahead and give them a discography listen anyway to formulate my opinion so i'm up to exciter now and yeah. meh.

#i think my primary problem is i just do not like martin gore's songwriting #i know this isnt entirely true but i just feel like im hearing the same 5-7 songs over and over and over again #im just not invested with the themes and subjects he writes about especially because idk to me he doesnt really do much with it #to make it interesting #i just feel like he couldve done and explored stuff so much more and just doesnt and is stuck in this constant loop #and maybe he expands beyond that post-ultra idk yet obviously #violator SOFAD and ultra def had more interesting things going on topically #nothing really appeals to me. their look doesnt really interest me their album covers are well-designed up to some of the 00s ones 💀#theyre not bad ill say tho once they get to black celebration theres good atmospheres and sonic layers #its just all overall meh beyond the handful of songs i do really enjoy #anyway sorry lmao ive had these thoughts for a while #its weird because theres crossover with new order and psb but dm just doesnt cut it for me #again i think because of martin pretty much #at least he expanded beyond the juvenile stuff on a broken frame but then it became juvenile AND edgy which bleh #it does mature tho at the v least
