wwdits nation is this a safe space to say that i’m ..Worried about s6. that trailer did not show very promising things and it just seemed ?? so ?? off ?? like everyone’s characters seemed Off. laszlo’s “time of the month” joke really stuck out to me like why is mr loves his wife more than life itself stooping that low?!?! r the writers mischaracterizing their own characters?!?!

the one piece live action was having such a good run with accurate castings, the (mostly) right character nationalities, and an amount of care put into the choices that you don't see often.

and for them to cast two south asian actors as cobra and vivi, the king and princess of an arab/egyptian inspired kingdom is way way way beyond disappointing.

especially considering the current political climate, erasing two canonically arab characters.....

they could not have fumbled this any worse.
