thinking about giving up alcohol completely, it's a bit random because I'm not drinking often at all- even less than when I was in Italy tbh and I'm not addicted to it but I'm kind of noticing a pattern of not really having nice nights when I drink like it's supposedly fun in that moment and I like alcohol as a drink but not that much when you think about it after... like it's not worth it because I don't like it that much to make me really happy and like watching a TV show makes me happier for example than being with random people at the pub... also people here in Ireland seriously have a big problem with drinking too much alcohol, they are "functioning" alcoholics and it's not even fun after a certain point because they become unbearably annoying

#I'm not even having hangovers but it's just #not a fun thing anymore #I would prefer having snacks and sleepovers and game and movie nights to going out for drinks pub to pub like they want to do here #like at this point drinking is just a habit and something people do #not something I really want to do #I was just reflecting on this #I need to find like-minded people irl

i get not liking the line but like. it's an intentional mistake and an intentional character choice, and something we'll return to in the future, and that seems like important context to have when talking about the episode.

fionna and cake drawings before and after watching the episodes so far. it’s nostalgic and somehow cathartic and poignant and relatable and—it just started

#i’m part of the demographic where i was a kid when adventure time started and now watching fionna and cake as an adult makes me emotional #because did they keep us in mind when writing fionna and her attitude towards life #the dissatisfaction #the hoping for something more #something more magical than this dreary life filled with working to live and living to work #it’s so reflective of how life feels for me and perhaps many of us #and also Simon’s episode was so sad but so well thought out #exploring his feelings after the events of the adventure time finale is something I’m glad we get to see #there were already so many layers to his character in AT but now it feels like we get to dive deeper #I also felt emotional hearing Rebecca Sugar singing and writing a song that encapsulates his feelings so well #�� it’s been awhile seeing her work exist alongside these characters #and all of these emotions get stronger because I remember AT being the one to inspire me to be a storyboard artist #when I was younger I used to follow many of the board artists here in tumblr and would get so inspired by them #to create simple but powerful boards that can capture the feelings of characters so well #Rebecca Sugar’s songs for the AT characters inspired me so much too #I’m sorry this is long I’m just feeling so many things experiencing all of this again as an adult #my art #fanart #adventure time #fionna and cake #fionna the human #cake the cat #simon petrikov

poseidon fell in love with impertinent, stubborn sally jackson. percy wasn't a gift to her - he is a cumulation of all of her stubborn, steadfast love.

why wouldn't poseidon still love and aid percy when all of percy's insolence is why he loved sally in the first place?

Obviously I woke up and chose violence for this round of the Fashion Competition.

For the "Sail the Seven Galaxies" theme I wanted to do a sci-fi hologram projection design for Omega with the concept of him being the AI of a spaceship. ...But I was too lazy to design a ship so I went and added emotions instead. I'll be going up against the amazing @less-depresso-more-espresso this round! Best of luck to us both! :D
