One of the funniest things about the Kelvin alternate timeline is the fact that Jonathan Archer is a) still alive, b) still in Starfleet, and c) seems to have taken up breeding beagles whilst teaching courses at the Academy and Scotty lost his best one in a transporter accident.

One of the movie writers even confirmed that this is meant to be that Jonathan Archer, same as the Prime timeline, but this motherfucker is like 146 years old and still turning up to teach these young hooligans that space is dangerous and aliens can be unreasonably mean.

I'm headcanoning that in both timelines the usual lifespan for Humans and Andorians is about 120 years but Archer and Shran are beating the odds by fondly arguing every day with neither wanting to die before getting the last word in. A strategy Bones would later employ. (No, seriously, Bones in the Prime timeline got to 137+. Via spite, I think.)

He seems like the one who is always watching as you apply a cream thing, and then foundation with your sponge, but then what's the other bottle that looks like a foundation that you also dab under your eyes?

He's definitely curious, getting closer as you apply something darker around your face. Contour, you say. And then you use a small brush to apply multiple layers of shadow on your eyelids, and he can't stop himself when he asks if that does not hurt?

Apparently not, as you continue now with lining your eye with a pencil. The dark lines it left enhance your eyes, making your eye color pop, and he is impressed with the effect. He will wrinkle his nose at this contraption you call an eyelash curler, cringing as you hold it close to your eye. Why would you want to risk poking your eyes with all these stuff? It looks like it crushes your eyelashes upwards.

And now you use this mascara thing and it makes your lashes longer? You mean crushing it with that thing isn't enough? He does think that the long lashes make your eyes look wider and hypnotizing. Adding just a barely there blush on your cheeks is pretty, but he prefers when he's the one making you blush naturally, instead.

It's when you are about to apply lipstick that he probably asks if he could be the one to put it on you, and you tell him sure after you apply another liner, but this time reddish in color. This one defines your lips, and he gets an idea. He puts your lipstick on, feeling like a kid coloring within the lines in an artbook, and you do look like an art right now.. an art he wants to have for himself.

You spray something all over your face, and he's asking if that does not mess with your make up? Oh, it's a setting spray and it makes your make up stay on your face and not budge?

He's immediately making you face him, cradling your face, before slowly moving closer and sweetly kissing you. You spent all that time enhancing your features, and now he does not want anyone else to view you but himself. When he pulls away, he sees in the mirror that your lipstick left a mark on his lips, and he'll cheekily ask if maybe you could put makeup on him too, but that will be for next time. For now, your next destination is in bed with him.

Ok so. Miles Edgeworth is trans. Gregory was definitely a trans affirming father so when Miles told him he was like “sure son. What name do you want to go by?”

And so all Manfred von Karma knew was that Gregory Edgeworth had a son. When he gains custody of Miles, he just. Does not realize that the kid he’s now in charge of is a trans boy. (Maybe Miles already had a name change. Idk. Somehow legal name wise, von Karma just. Does Not realize.)

So Miles grows up being raised as a boy and von Karma just. Doesn’t realize. Until puberty begins.

And he notices something, that Miles isn’t experiencing puberty the way he would have expected and he’s like hmmm. I am not sure what is happening.

And then like preteen Miles, incredibly nervous, comes to him and he’s like, “excuse me, Mr. von Karma, sir, but would I be able to start puberty blockers please?”

And von Karma’s just like “WHAT!”

He’s so caught off guard and so used to thinking of Miles as “Gregory Edgeworth’s pathetic son” that he just… kinda lets Miles medically transition bc he’s so caught off guard by the realization.

And for his entire life, Miles is like. Unable to wrap his head around von Karma being surprisingly trans accepting???
