I know not everyone is aware of MCAS as a medical condition, but it really grinds my gears when people come onto one of my posts and is like, “I don’t get it, just take iron supplements, it doesn’t need to be a big deal” (I already blocked them for being annoying so don’t go harassing them).

Meanwhile my medically complex ass has my two epi pens at the ready because depending on where the iron supplement manufacturer sourced their vitamin c addition, I might get to enjoy an expensive trip in the wee-woo wagon to the nearest emergency department.

Shadow core Danny? Shadow core Danny with Hazmat AU? Indeed, with a hint of a twist. 

See that hazmat helmet beneath the hood? Yeah that’s erm, that might be his actual face now. It might be able to split open into a proper maw, as he found out during one of the early fights. He thinks it might be a shadow-core thing though, because Fright Knight has something similar, along with the Keeper. Who's apparently a ghost that keeps track of other shadow-ghosts, which, cool. Cool library covered in flesh, nothing spooky there. 

He mentions this? Because apparently even if all ghosts partially feed on emotions, shadow cores need Fear the most. Which, thankfully shadow cores are apparently more rare than he’d expect, so he’s not going to go into a territorial frenzy or something on a bad day, yay! 

But uh, he might… count as a ghostling since he’s only a year dead- in fact he’ll continue to be as such until he’s at least 100 years dead, since he didn’t die as an adult. Which in turn… means he needs even more fear, at least until he’s old enough to generate it on his own. 

So what’s a ghostling to do? Take a trip to one of the most fear-soaked cities in the world, y’know, just a little weekend trip every month. Gotham isn’t that bad, and he can stay invisible- mostly! What’s going to happen, he run into a vigilante? Ha… oh no.

So, everyone’s favorite flirty Gale dialogue (where Gale says he ‘appreciates your musk’, etc) happens at the Tiefling party if Tav’s already done the Weave scene and started romancing him before the party begins.

But there’s a different dialogue you’ll get at the Tiefling party IF Gale’s approval gets high enough for the Weave scene to occur there, AND Tav flirts with another companion before speaking to him.

I myself have never gotten this because I speed run romancing this man & get the Weave scene ASAP every time like the simp I am. In fact, I’ve only found three videos which show this jealous dialogue because it does seem to be pretty rare.

First, it starts off the same as when Tav approaches him at the party without having flirted with anyone else:

If Tav DIDN’T flirt with anyone else, Gale will tell you to see him later, after the revelry has ended, in more ‘intimate surrounds.’ (This will be the Weave scene that we’re all familiar with.)

But, if Tav successfully flirted with someone else, Gale will know and he will be a SMIDGE JELLY:

And he’ll even throw some personalized shade depending on which companion Tav got cozy with:

Note: I scoured YouTube to see if I could find his comments on Lae’zel, Karlach or Wyll, but I cannot find anything! If anyone knows what he says about them I’d love to hear it.

Regardless, he ends on the same line:

And I have to say that, for as much as I love sweet, kind, romantic Gale and I tend to focus on that aspect of him, I DO appreciate seeing scenes of him being flawed and imperfect and real in his emotions.

Is he being a jerk here? Yes. Is it because he is so down bad for Tav that he’s drowning his sorrows in wine and his tongue has loosened too much? Also yes.

You get a full set of dialogue options to choose from, which all have Gale reacting in a unique, tipsy, but overall sweet manner (especially #5, because that’s what he was hoping Tav would say.)

you know, i have reason to believe that bison is not as naive about kant as we’re being led to believe right now.

in neither 10 things or taming of the shrew is bianca ever unaware of lucentio/cameron’s intentions and motivation. in 10 things, cameron is never pretending to be anyone else to begin with and is very open about the fact that he’s interested in her and it’s bianca that uses and manipulates him. whereas in taming, lucentio disguises himself as a tutor for bianca so that way he can woo her without her father knowing, but even still he tells her immediately in their first lesson who he is and what his intentions are. even with that, though, she still has a line about not knowing or trusting him.

in the heart killers, kant isn’t being forward about part of the reason he wants to get close to bison, and we’re sort of being led to believe that bison is taking kant at face value about wanting to be with him. however, immediately when kant walks into the burger shop, bison is suspicious. yes, he drops that rather quickly, but if the ost is anything to go by, maybe he’s just playing along.

which kind of brings me to the main evidence i have at this point - the lyrics of the ost very bluntly lays out the fact that the singer (bison) knows their love interest (kant) is up to something but that he’s willing to play along while continuing to question their motives the whole time. plus, we already know bison is perfectly capable of acting sweet and trusting when he’s actually not - we see that in the first five minutes.

additionally, i was thinking about kant’s “if i be waspish, best beware my sting” tattoo, which is a direct line from taming that katherine says. out of context it obviously foreshadows that bison needs to be careful of him, but in context, petruchio replies with “my remedy is then to pluck it out.” aka, he is aware she might sting but he’ll pull out the stinger entirely. if we look at that in parallel to kant and bison, it implies that bison again may likely be aware of kant’s true nature and his goal is subdue him in some way - to tame him, despite them not being based on those characters.

honestly i don’t think the betrayal and broken trust of it all is gonna be as big of a reveal as we may be thinking - i think bison already knows kant isn’t being 100% truthful and will probably figure it out himself what he’s hiding somewhere along the way
