haha okay, so this piece has been sitting mostly finished for the last five months, but I finally sat down today and finished it! It’s inspired by this post

It was also kind of a pain to take a picture that did the piece justice :P so here were some not so great versions:

This was taken outside in the shade

This one wasn’t awful but it was a bit too light and the colors were washed out (taken in my kitchen)

the picture I went with was a blend of fluorescent and natural lighting which is what I usually use for taking pictures and when I’m painting, but I still had to make touch ups in procreate because no matter what lighting, the solid black will always be washed out :P I might be able to avoid these problems with a scanner, but oh well

Popping in because i want all of you to know that my most effective coping method recently has been that whenever i start spiraling i send a meme to my best friend about how much i love them and both the 1) reminder of how great they are and how lucky i am to have them in my life and 2) the time it takes to find a sufficient meme almost always manages to pull me out of it so highly recommend

Idk bout yall but I’d love to share more of my headcanons and thoughts for zutara. That to a point that I want to start writing again, making fics. Other then drawing, sometimes I don’t have the motivation/inspiration to draw but writing out or posting my hc/thoughts feels better. :’)

FINALLY presenting my rtc character playlists!! these might be my favorite ones I’ve ever made. these are my interpretations of what each character might listen to. :)

the bulk of each playlist is songs & artists I think they’d like. then I chose three musicals for each person, because come on, performing arts kids need their performing arts music!! and finally, the bottom five songs are each from the other characters’ playlists, to show their relationship and how their stories are interwoven. if you give ‘em a listen I hope you like em !!

“Because I’m wrong,” grits out between the crack of teeth, no longer able to meet her gaze.

It’s everywhere now, curls off him like a mist, adding weight to every breath of thickening air. He’s everything at once; newly-born yet burdened by a past not his own, a child taught violence before words, a teen atoning for murder then murdered himself, an adult turned leader yet forever developmentally stunted. He’s an ugly amalgamation of impossibilities and hates himself impossibly so for it.
