One thing that hit me really hard last night and still does (hence me making a post. Screaming at the void makes me feel beter) is that I made my Discord server on Feb 17th. Almost three weeks after the Avenging Ranboo stream.
And I remember very clearly how often we would joke about looking forward to the first 'Techno dsmp lore stream' we'd get to experience together. How the server would lose their collective minds. How we would scream and laugh in the watch party.
In the end the only Technoblade content we got to experience together was the Hypixel charity stream with Ranboo, Tommy's tournament video, and the VR video. And each time was such a blast. For the charity stream in particular I recall staying up till 4 am just to freak out with my friends.
But I really was looking forward to a dsmp stream. My server is built around c!Techno. We talked about him constantly, theorized, shared and made fanfic and fanart. He brought us together.
It's so bittersweet to think we didn't know yet that c!Techno's story was already over. We never got to experience that hype together.
(there are a lot of older streams me and some others on my server never saw beyond clips. Pogtopia, Nov 16, the butcher army, Doomsday. When things calm down and the pain isn't so fresh, we'll hold a watch party. We WILL get to watch lore together.)

Where have I been?
Hi, Victoria here! ^^
Sorry for not posting or tell anyone of my progress after the news of Technoblade’s passing that also not only made me sad but it also made me toke a two week break from writing. Right now I am back in writing but at the small slow pace as I am trying to world build my story well without rushing it to make it ugly
So far I am definitely gonna think new ways to improve Prologue 3 which is not yet made as I haven't like decided how to start it so I apologize but I will work it on august hopefully however Im sure those who knows what is happening with Genshin.
We got leaks of what Sumeru is like (Rip Primos and wallets to everyone) and Im very excited as everyone who read my main Sagau or Sagau crossover of DSMP/SBI reader Sumeru and Snezahaya are the only ones who are not involved of the Imposter chase which i will try my best to explain why only those two nations did not hunt us down while rest such as Natlan and Fontaine hunted us down when one of them are supposedly could help us but I won't spoil why as I am waiting for Natlan and Fontaine to come so that I can work my way on them without making the characters in those nations look OOC when they are not out yet TwT
And of course the famous teaser that is about the Harbingers reaction to Signora’s death to which I did not expect it revealed all Harbingers and damn I wonder how the main SAGAU writers will write about them especially Regrator who caught my interest with Arlecchino UwU
But uh back in the Topic 😂
So like currently I am suffering a huge skin allergies which is a pain in the neck and I have no idea when it will be gone which is quite sad and annoying as the itchyness is hard to control sometimes TwT But don't worry I am doing okay XD
Although a bit oof a news.
The technolade tribute will have a bit changes as i decided to make it around the imposter au of Sagau but this will be more of Reader and Techno centric so basically more onto the Dream SMP so for those who dont know Dream SMP or never watch but came here for the SAGAU you can read it or not read it since I only made my story just for fun and so far I already have massive ideas for the "Leave me Alone and Let me build my s**t" such as I now decided that there will be like changes since i just edit this today and this draft was like last week XD
And what changes is that Prologue one will have addition of a Torture scene that a friend wanted me to add and I thought it would fit considering I decided to go around my Prologues and Interlude to add the Dark themes since things will go dark and very much have high tension once we get to the main plot of how the story began or rather how Reader felt being chased along with being labeled as an imposter when she is not.
So around August there will be a short (or not short due to my brainstorming and OCD build up whoops 😂😂) Prologue 3.5 or which uh basically is before the actually Prologue 3. What i mean is that 3.5 will mostly be a calm before the storm which will be another short point of view of the characters before Doomsday and I know everyone is not happy when they are waiting for the Doomsday to happen and Ill be honest I myself always is not happy but I have to do it so I can break expectations and also 3.5 will have a Harbingers and you guys will have to figure out who the traitor that spoke to Dainsleif because its gonna be a plot twist when you realize it was not them but another character who I always used my support XD
I wont spoil much but I can say hopefully Prologue 3 Doomsday will be moved on September since I do full chapters once a month due to being busy irl and school. I hope you guys understand especially its not easy to make a huge build up plot with worldbuilding and trying to make the characters in character without making them go OOC.
But yes this month I will do my best to finish the Technoblade tribute with reader and I can say there will be angst, comfort and a bit of a hint of the future chapters of my main story OwO! Despite i am supposed to rest with Allergies I need to make sure you guys will get enough SAGAU x DSMP/SBI reader XD
So I hope you guys understand and Inbox is open for questions which I will answer in my own pace as I am trying to get these allergies healed TwT
So yeah that's all! ^^

What are your favourite videos by techno?
For me it would probably be "skeppy tries to troll me but I troll him first", minecraft ultimate (both the video and the stream) and mcm(the weeks with Phil and jschlatt)
oh i love this question i am going to make you a List <3
first off i must preface this with the usual: statistically, i have not really seen the majority of his videos. i only subscribed in late 2020, and had been skirting youtube recommending his channel to me for 18 months before that (i was absolutely terrified of him despite having watched many hours of SMPE streams [and before that, mcm clips]. i think i was more afraid of hypixel tbh. i was still learning the vanilla game at that point for crying out loud.). Last spring i planned on backwatching everything i'd missed in a semblance of order, but then he privated half of his uploads, so i never got around to it because i would have done it Wrong. So, for what i Have seen:
firstly i agree so much with MCU 36k and MCM wk10. comfort vid/vods for sure. ive seen those many, many times!!
there was a period of time where i was utterly obsessed with the tnt video. id watch it several times a week and like, liveblog it on discord every time. same with the original 2 VR vids, the red festival, and the 1mil sub special vid but to a lesser degree.
of course ive seen the potato war, but ive also sat down for the 2 or so hours it takes to watch the entire skyblock series back to front. a highlight from this series is fastest man in skyblock, tho its been a bit since ive seen it.
the tree, free history lesson, youtube sent me a thing, mccp21, and the smpe villager stream are all great.
as for DSMP, i have rewatched nothing goes wrong and green festival/doomsday multiple times. nothing goes wrong has given me some of the strongest brainrot about any media since i saw cars (2006) in theatres when i was 7. i was literally uncontrollably shaking during both. bravo, minecraft man!
ok, i just looked, i cant list all of the dsmp streams as some more of my favs because i Will. the moving stream, the turtle stream... the egg,,, the first prison breakout... yeah.
i had such a sixth sense for technostreams. when he didnt announce stuff i would get this Feeling. so id pop into discord and say 'technos prob gonna stream friday' and then id be right, every damn time. it was uncanny.
i havent sat down to watch any of his stuff in a few months now, but i suspect ill get back to it soon, maybe by years-end. i started backwatching all of his MCM and MCC perspectives sometime last winter, ive got to finish those also.
alright, going to cut myself off bc ill get sappy. i KNOW i forgot some vids too and i cant remember and its driving me nuts. oh yes, agree on the skeppy vid too like you said.

Hello! may i request a c!revivebur who’s walking around the server and sees his (now ex) partner for the first time since he died and he apologizes to them for how he treated them in pogtopia and they just like walk around and catch up please? love your writing!! don’t worry if this gets rejected or you don’t feel inspired i know how it feels!
Hope (c!Revivedbur x Reader)
apologies if it's a bit out of character, it's been a while since I've written anything for the DSMP :) but thank you for my first request from there! I hope you liked how it turned out!
Warnings: none? all lore is pretty outdated I think
Genre: fluff-ish
Word Count: 1220
Dawn breaks.
He stands there, watching the sunrise. His trench-coat feels heavy. The gloves on his hands feel scratchy, and he knows he keeps tightening them; a nervous habit. He’s going to betray them all. Whether they win or lose the final war, L’Manberg is going to go up in flames.
He’s not going to be there to see it all.
“You alright, Will?”
You stand beside him, on the cliff, and he knows that Tommy and Tubbo are probably somewhere behind him, watching over you both. He didn’t have his sanity anymore, but he was still in control enough to think of them and Niki, fighting for a false cause, watching over him, worried.
“Of course, love. Why wouldn’t I be?”
His voice is an odd, jubilant tone. It’s one he’s had for a while, the one he had when Tommy and Techno spared and he pushed them both, the one he had when referring to Dream.
You don’t know whether it’s happiness or madness.
“Wilbur Soot.”
“Y/N, I’m alright,” he sighs. He puts his arm around you. “We’re going to win L’Manberg back,” Lie. “and we’ll be able to have everything we once did.” Lie. “I’ll run the country again as it’s rightful leader,” Lie. “and it’ll be the place to build our future.” Lie.
“I don’t care about L’Manberg as much as I care about you,” you state. “Wilbur Soot, I love you. No matter what happens today,” you whisper, “That won’t change.”
How foolish you had been.
Philza had murdered him, a diamond sword straight through his chest, and the only thing that reassured you that it was what he wanted was the smile on his face. Your word never faltered, though. No matter what happens, you’d still love him.
You’re considering changing that sentiment as you go to visit the same cliff, and see someone already there. Occasionally, it’d be Niki there, or Tommy and Tubbo, sometimes even Ranboo. You’d talk to them, reminisce, or tell them bits of history. It always hurts your heart, but that’s what kept the dead alive, their stories.
It’s not any of them this time, though.
You scan the figure ahead of you. Tall, wearing a jacket, gauze and blood wrapped around his right arm. The height tells you it’s Ghostbur, but the dressing and the vibrant color in his hair tells you it’s his living counterpart.
It’s Wilbur. It’s Wilbur Soot, not Ghostbur.
You pinch at your wrist, but the slight sting tells you that it’s no dream.
Wilbur Soot stands a couple meters in front of you, alive. You want to run, away or toward him, you can’t be sure, but you’re rooted in place. He’s alive. The realization fills your heart with love, with fear- which era of Wilbur has he returned as? Is he the musician who made you swoon? Is he the revolutionary, the gentle and kind leader? Is he the man who spiraled into insanity, who blew up L’Manburg?
“Beautiful sunset, isn’t it?”
He knows there’s someone there. Who, he isn’t sure, but whoever it was, whether it was someone new or someone he had to make amends to- starting a conversation was the best way to find a window to apologize. Personal gains aside, there were a lot of people who deserved apologies from him.
Especially his love.
“It’s nice,” you say, cautious. “I haven’t really taken the time to look at another one since Doomsday.”
He turns toward you, shock in his expression and a hopeful glimmer in his eyes. Your hand rests on the hilt of your sword, and he frowns at that.
Did you think- didn’t you still have two lives? He’s not the man he was when he was last alive.
“Love-”
“Please don’t call me that,” you whisper.
“I’m not going to hurt you. I’m not the person who blew up L’Manberg.” He takes note of the way your expression softens slightly, but your hand doesn’t move. “Darling, I’m unarmed. Why are you- how many lives are you on?”
“One.”
“One? I thought- What happened?”
“The L’Manberg explosion took my second one.”
He notices the way you say L’Manberg and not Doomsday. It was his doing.
He decides that he’s never going to forgive himself for it. Even if you do, he’s going to spend the rest of his life making it up to you.
“Oh, sweetheart,” he says, and strides towards you, throwing his arms around you. “I’m so sorry.”
There’s a small silence, before you speak. “I’m getting over it,” you mutter into his shoulder. “All I have to do is avoid conflict. It can’t be the hardest thing in the world.”
“It’s difficult here.” His concern makes you feel warm. Maybe death has changed him. You hope death has changed him.
“I know,” you respond quietly. Avoiding problems never was the strong suit of anyone on the SMP.
“I’ll find a way to beat death for you.”
You laugh a little, and reach your hand up to ruffle his hair. “Of course you’d find a way. You’re always pushing for change.”
“Especially if it helps the people I love.”
You don’t get a moment to reflect on his words before he’s reaching for your hand, interlocking it with his. You both walk, side by side, throughout the SMP.
“A lot has changed,” he remarks.
“Yeah. A lot has.”
Care to tell me what’s been happening around here?”
“Do you have any memories from Ghostbur?”
“Oh, him,” Wilbur frowns at that. His ghost had been way too positive, quite odd, to be honest. Perhaps he felt the tiniest bit guilty that Ghostbur was stuck in the personal hell that was Jubilee Line, but if it meant he got to live, he would make the same decision again, to board the train Dream had sent out for him.
You’re still staring at him, and he gives you an apologetic smile. “Sorry, zoned out there. I don’t exactly have many memories, but they’re coming back to me, little by little.”
“We rebuilt L’Manberg, before Tommy was exiled. You left with him, as Ghostbur. I don’t exactly know what happened there, but-” you sigh. “It must have been hell. Tommy never really recovered, I don’t think. Tubbo forbade any of us to visit, he said it was too dangerous to confront Dream head on.”
“I remember that,” Wilbur says quietly. “If I were to see Dream again, I’d strike him down where he stood.”
“He’s in prison now, thankfully. I’d say he’s getting what he deserves.”
He decides not to mention how Dream was the one who brought him to life.
You both finally stop at the ruins of L’Manberg, staring down into the glass-covered crater. It’s a swirl of memories, a tangle of old times, a harsh reminder of the past.
“We should look towards the future,” Wilbur speaks. His eyes are focused on the bright of the moon, and the glimmer of the stars above both of you. “A future together,” he adds. He kisses the top of your head and puts his hand around your waist, cautious, but you make no move to stop him. Even if he’s not the same, he’s close to the man you once knew.
You find the constellation he’s looking at, and smile slightly.
Canis Major.
A future together.
Hope.

Can you explain your point about Fundy and Ranboo? :0
I CAN I CAN I CAN. SO.
/rp /dsmp
i've made a post before on why i think c!ranboo's "choose people not sides" philosophy falls flat, mainly because he's a bit of a hypocrite /neu. i think this explanation by @thesmpisonfire is a very good one as well, so i'm including it here for more info!!!
now, onto my point about fundy and ranboo. as i said, i think their fight after doomsday is a very good example on why ranboo's "choose people not sides" concept doesn't work and isn't actually about choosing people. the conversation i was referencing is this one right here.
that's a 9 minute clip and i won't make you watch all of it, so a brief recollection: after doomsday, fundy tells ranboo he was right from the start about the not choosing sides thing, because c!fundy chose sides and ideals his entire life, and all the good and bad things he has ever done for those sides never mattered because in the end everyone left him and all his decisions led to nothing, to no overcome, because in the end l'manburg was destroyed and nothing mattered. he sabotaged l'manburg's supplies and let techno, dream, and philza destroy everything, because they were destroying "the last side" and nothing matters, and maybe this would make people finally realize it. he says ranboo was right all along: sides don't matter, people do, and he says they should stick together as they are the main people who are aware of that.
from that you can already tell fundy has a skewed viewpoint of both the concept and just everything happening around him, which i don't really blame him for. fundy was right when he said people left him again and again, and his feeling of emptiness and non-importance is justified in this situation. personally i think the way he interprets it all is a bit extreme and just not that reasonable, but i get where he's coming from. in a way his understanding of the concept reflects c!ranboo's understanding of it as well, which we can recognize through the fact ranboo's reaction to doomsday wasn't that far off from fundy's - his nonchalant response when techno asks him how he's feeling during doomsday and all his feelings regarding l'manburg afterwards (thinking it was a bad place blah blah blah) show that well.
what i think is the biggest exposure of why ranboo's "choose people not sides" concept fails is how he reacts to fundy's point, tho. here is a direct transcription from their fight:
fundy: [he was talking about how letting doomsday happen was a good thing] to make them realize that, even without l'manburg, even without a last chosen side, it's for the better. and now, if you and i were right, they might learn.
ranboo: so... what you're saying is that... we should team up?
fundy: that is exactly what i'm saying.
ranboo: that is exactly what you weren't supposed to say. coward. don't you see what you just did? you just tried to create another side.
fundy: i tried to team up to prevent other sides from starting in the first place, ranboo! YOU'RE THE ONE WHO TAUGHT ME THIS, RANBOO!
ranboo: [overlapping] teams are sides!
but that... goes against ranboo's whole point. if teams are sides- if two people supporting each other in any way is a side- how are you supposed to choose people? fundy said they should choose each other, AS PEOPLE, and together try to make other people understand that everyone should stop creating "sides" and choose each other. and ranboo IS right - that IS a side, according to his concept. however, if that is a side according to his concept, his entire philosophy falls flat.
because how are you supposed to choose people in the first place if people are sides? if he recognizes sides are people and sides can be a single person and sides can be just two people working together for a thing they both believe in, how is he supposed to only choose people? how would that even work? how is he supposed to choose people if choosing people is what creates sides?
the ideal is faulty. in the end, it leads to nothing. because how can you choose people and steer clear from sides while also believing that teaming up with a single person and choosing each other and your shared beliefs already categorizes as a side? it falls flat. it doesn't work. it has no real meaning, and isn't actually choosing people at all.
because, as ranboo recognizes himself, people are sides. sides are made up of people. l'manburg wasn't simply a government or a side to choose, it was its people. the people who chose l'manburg weren't choosing a piece of land, they were choosing each other and the legacy that was born and cultivated in that piece of land.
it was never about sides, but about people, and ranboo fails to see that, which is why his philosophy fails, as well.

Finale thoughts:
Pre learning about the finale:
This first bit was written before I found out what happened in the finale, the second paragraph is after
Gang I’m gonna be completely real with you, I kinda don’t even care anymore about this last arc. Like when c!wilburs last stream came out, I didn’t like it at first but eventually came to realize how much I liked it thematically for the story. But all of this stuff recently just feels like retreads of old plot lines without the emotions treads that originally made it special.
I hope I’m wrong. I hope the finale makes everything seem brilliant in retrospect but the writing just doesn’t feel as tight anymore. Not to mention I feel like everything is lost thematically. I can only watch c!tommy go through life changing tramua so many times without it feeling like torturep0rn. I found where the character was after c!wilbur left, interesting but to find out that it just leads us back to the beginning of the cycle feels disappointing.
And maybe that’s the point maybe it supposed to be that traumatized people will keep following the same cycles that hurt them until they chose to break out from them. But it doesn’t feel like c!tommy ever will and so I’m left feeling…disappointed? For lack of a better word.
Idk it’s like my dad will tell me about how he stopped reading game of thrones because it just got to grim dark, like there was so little hope left that there might as well be none. I’m not interested in watching these characters I care about be punished for attempting to heal, I’m fine with seeing them hurt and struggle but there’s gotta be a reward at some point. I guess it really does all depend on how things end, but right now I wish things ended with the disc finale.
Post learning about the finale:
Ok well shit I was right. I’m not super surprised, I think that the cc’s where kinda focused on just ending this story so they could move onto a new one so it’s not surprising that lacking passion would lead to a less satisfying and not as well written conclusion as other parts of this story.
Part of what drew me in so much to the story of the dsmp was the chaotic simpleness of it. I don’t know if anyone reading this has read lord of the flies but I always kinda thought of the server as something akin to if not a better representation of putting a bunch of humans in small space and seeing what happens (obviously with some caveats bc Minecraft but you get what mean).
The story to me was always the best when the stakes where personal but the cast was large. Think of pogtopia and all the different connections on both sides, think of doomsday and the excitement of watching all these people come together each for their own reasons and reacting to this large event. Not to mention those personal connections didn’t feel fantastical, they where grounded in things somewhat relatable to real life. I could connect to c!phil being disillusioned with countries after his son dies because of one even if I didn’t sympathize with his actions because I can imagine how that would feel. I could connect with C!tommy trying desperately to pull his life together after someone tramuatized him because I have been through something similar myself. Hell to even use a more recent event, I really enjoyed the complexities of c!quackity as a character because he was interesting and well written take on someone not coping well with his loses and tramua and taking it out on others.
What I unfortunately cannot really connect with is having a a screaming match with a guy who wants to learn more about the universe. And now that I’m thinking about it more I don’t even think it actually has to do with the fantastical elements of the revival book but more so like I feel like the themes in these last couple of streams leading up to the finale, did not have enough time to fully be touched upon before being discussed. The most we really got to see was C!Tommy’s reaction to being revived and C!Wilbur’s.
Part of the reason I felt like I was struggling to get invested was because when c!Dream started talking about how the world was ending because of the revive book I felt like I had no reason to believe him. I guess we could say the egg was that but even that feels like a far stretch when c!tommy didn’t acknowledge it as being such. I really think this is a case where giving this arc more time to be fleshed out would have been really good. Imagine watching tommy fall into obsession after Wilbur leaves instead of just being told it happened. Imagine him and maybe some other people on the server stumbling upon areas where the code is glitchy and odd things happen or maybe there’s giant pits into the void. Imagine being shown all the things we where told happened. I think that definitely would have helped at least me a lot.
Even so I feel like this finale did more harm than good by retroactively overwriting themes of other arcs. The l’manburg war was about material gain vs. emotional gain through both c!erets betrayal and c!Tommys giving up of his disc to win the war. The pogtopia arc was about power, to what ends do you go to get it with c!wilbur, what do you do with it though c!Schlatt, c!techno and c!quackity, and are you deserving of it with c!wilbur (baby girl has so many themes), c!tubbo, and c!tommy. And then the beginning of season 2 through doomsday dealt with the role of a country in peoples lives, and eventually leads into the discussion of attachments into the end of the season. Which as a theme attachments works so well because it feels inclusive towards all parts of the story so far and a natural progression of those earlier themes. Therefore it’s not surprising when after which everything starts to feel not as coherent and powerful.
My only guesses towards some of the themes past season 2 are, healing and attempts at happiness in comfort through the egg arc, and most characters that where not involved in that arc, arcs up to c!tommy being locked in the prison. And then after which I guess could be a sort of different take on how much power one person should have between c!dream and the revive book and c!sam and the prison?
I wanna clarify right now that I do not hate season 3, in fact I really like the beginning of it but the longer it went on and the more cc’s stopped playing just for even more cc’s I didn’t know to be added, the less I started to care.
The last thing I wanna talk about is how much it feels like c!ranboo got done dirty. We spent so much time getting invested into this mystery of a character only to not get most answers and the one we did get felt so weak. Like I’m sorry but only hearing c!dream say that oh yeah mindcontrol exists and he was using it on ranboo for awhile, and then watch tommy and tubbo be surprised for all of about 1 minute before moving on felt like a slap in the face after all that build up.
I’m frustrated and disappointed with how things have ended. But I don’t think that this overwrites the ingenious of the good parts on the dsmp and how much it will inspire new forms of story telling in the years to come.
As for volume 2, I’ll probably see what people say about it on this hellsite (affectionate) and then go from there on whether or not I’ll keep up with it. I hope it is a true reset and gives the cc’s the opportunity to start fresh with new ambitions and passions because I think it has the possibility to be something really good now that they have the experience of already having done this once.
Sorry for such a long post but it felt appropriate after writing analysis posts on this story for so long. Hope y’all who read this far have a wonderful rest of your day or night!

So remember that au where the dream smp is a comic book in the manhunt universe. Well more of that. This is what manhunt!Dream thinks of each character. Now I will just be using the real names but in the comic the names are different. Not doing the tales of the smp characters. Might also get some backstory for Manhunt!Dream
Techno - As stated in my prev post, this is Dream's fav character. He has regularly copied ideas from him. He loves all the pets that Techno has. And how no matter what Techno always follows his beliefs. Might also remind him of his childhood rival.
Phil - finds the character very funny. The 3 months thing. Through does have some very good serious moments like Nov 16th and Doomsday. The guy is clearly not perfect but he really has a hard time hating the guy. Only time he did hate Phil was during Doomsday for letting Friend die and hurting Ghostbur.
Wilbur - easily his 2nd fav. The way his fall was done. It was so heartbreaking. Then his revival. To find out about being alone for 13 years was rough. Dream feels for the guy since being on the run is very lonely. The only people he talks to is when the hunters get close enough for banter. He really hopes that Wilbur gets the help that he needs.
Ghostbur (yes counting this as a different character) - loves the guy. so sweet and just wants to help. Through feels very sad because of the memory thing and the blue. Plus the speech that he gave on Doomsday.
Tommy - this kid can't catch a break. He feels so bad for the kid. Tommy is a good kid that overall does not mean harm. The only thing that Dream hates Tommy for is killing the cat. Dream likes animals and while can understand why Tommy did it, still found himself crying over the cat's death. Dream always wanted pets but his life before on the run was rough and now there is no way he will get one
Tubbo - another kid he feels sorry for. Dream feels bad for Tommy but for some reason Tubbo hits harder. Maybe it is because Tubbo reminds him of one of his neighbor's kid. They are pretty similar in personality from what he remembers. He was sad when the neighbors moved. The scene of Tubbo crying hurt so much. He really wanted to jump into the comic and comfort him.
Ranboo - Easily his 3rd fav. The memory book. The ender walking. The weird connection to main bad guy. The begging to be locked up in the prison. Plus love the marriage to Tubbo. Really hopes they can talk to each other. This comic needs one healthy relationship that lasts. Reminds him of this enderman hybrid that helped. Found the kid lost in the woods and badly hurt. So helped get the kid back to help then took it to the village with the nice baker lady. It was a nice village so hopefully the kid is okay.
Michael - yes doing their son. Super cute. The in comic reason for keeping Michael inside is for safety. I like to imagine there is a small mini series of Michael playing pretend or sneaking out to meet the other kids.
Fundy - neutral. Does not like him but does not hate him. Through is curious about the seeing the future thing. Wonders if this is his god's blood in work. (in the comic, Wilbur is confirmed to be a demigod. Only Phil and Techno know about it but it was confirmed)
Yogurt - cute kid. Hangs out with Michael when he sneaks out.
Puffy - a cool pirate and therapist. Kinda wish that she was his mom. He does not have any parents but he feels like Puffy would be a cool mom. She went feral when Foolish was killed.
Niki - reminds him of a baker he meet once while on the run. This was before he was well known so he could risk being seen. She gave him some free cookies and gave him a discount on the bread when she saw that he did not have much money. Super sweet and nice but also not one to be messed with. He saw how that baker handled an attempted robbery. Sad to see her wanting to hurt Tommy but was so happy that she is healing.
Jack: Feels bad for the character since he is put through so much. Even had to crawl out of hell.
Karl - love the guy. The time travel spin off series is super cool. feels bad for the losing memories things.
Quackity - flip flops between feeling bad and hating the guy. Quackity has been through a lot and Las Nevadas is cool. But he is just doing what the main villian did. Please just heal so you can be at peace. Hopefully him and fiancés will get back together
Jschlatt - great villian. hated the guy. Also reminds him of his neighbors. The father. Through was a much better person. Actually wanted to give a better life for his son (Yes in this au, DadSchlatt is a thing and he is a good father)
Purple - felt bad for the ufo being blowen up but does not feel anything towards him.
Punz - He respect the guy. Reminds him of a mercenary person that once was after him. Through stopped after realizing that the pay was not worth all the chase. Needed to be payed more
Ponk - felt bad for losing his arm but otherwise neutral for the character
Skeppy - over all neutral. Nice guy and feels bad for the possession thing.
Eret - liked the guy then hated the guy then went back to liking him. Glad the character was making up for the whole betrayal thing.
XD - does know what to make of this character. Through does not trust the god with George
Drista - a fun character that can cause a lot of chaos. Would want as a sister. Yes he might get attacked by a fork but hey he already has a younger brother.
Kristen - not much is known about her. Only that she is Wilbur's mom (in the comic, Wilbur does say his mom is a fridge but I am going on what Phil said. Which is that Wilbur got confused when Phil pointed to the fridge which had a pic of his mom)
MD - fun guy. So sad to see him die. Was really helping Tommy
Mamacita - another fun character through has not been seen since MD's death.
Sally - in the comic Sally is a shapeshifter through the writer wanted them to be a fish. Their editor refused to allow that. Not really shown much outside flash backs. I go back and forth on how good of a mom she was. So if she was good then Dream liked her. If not then he hates her.
Slimecicle - very confused. not like conflicted. Just confused.
Sam Nook - like him. Only one he trusts Tommy with. If he could becomes friends with Hunter!Sam would totally ask if he can build something like Sam Nook
Sam - really hates the dude. Does not care that the main bad guy asked Sam to build it. Sam has control so everything is Sam's doing. Plus the whole thing with Ponk. Part of him does remind dream of Hunter!Sam but that was earlier in the comic. Hunter!Sam would never hurt his partner (Yes Hunter!Sam is dating Ponk)
Ant - again the character remind him of Hunter!Ant. Through overall neutral. Does feel bad for the whole possession by the egg thing
Sapnap - hopefully gets back with Quackity. The dude really gets the short end of the stick. Also reminds him of Hunter!Sapnap. Through hopefully his relationship goes better then dsmp!Sapnap (yes Quaickity and Karl are his boyfriends)
George - reminds him of Hunter!Geroge. The weird dream comics were funny. feels bad that the character can't tell what is a dream and what is real.
Bad - again remind him of Hunter!Bad. Only reason why Dream does not hate dsmp!Bad is because he is being possessed by the egg. He did not like Foolish being killed. Also finds it sweet that the character was willing to do something for Skeppy. (yes. Bad and Skeppy have the same relationship as canon)
Dream - is a great villian. very evil. Through as stated before. Does not like the prison treatment. Does see himself in the guy but it is like all his more negative traits were turned up to 1000. Through Dream is lonely and does not make attachments, there is one he can't get rid of. Since that attachment is why he is doing all of this
Foolish - can probably tell he really likes Foolish. reminds him of his younger brother. Foolish being killed was the one time he needed to put the comic down and take a break.
that is everyone. There are a few more that I really don't watch so have no idea what Manhunt!Dream's opinion would be.

An Outside Perspective [Xisuma & Dsmp!Reader]
(P!Fluff? Hurt/comfort? Not really sure lol Request: Could I request a reader insert were the reader is causally talking about the wars and bloodshed they have seen on the dream smp to Grian or Xisuma?)
(After the Grian headcanons I'm so happy to be getting more hermitcraft requests! Tw. Talk of past war, violence, death etc. Also thank you dodo anon for some ideas.)
----------
Somehow you had managed to slip away from the Dream smp and found yourself in a much more peaceful server, Hermitcraft. Most of them knew vaguely of the wars that constantly held your home, but no one seemed to fully grasp what you had became so accustomed to. Not that you were trying to hide anything, it just never came up. Until you found yourself talking to a masked admin much kinder than your own.
You were helping Xisuma as he worked on a new tower in his base. You had been staying in the server for awhile now, and had hung around X since the start. At first it was because you thought getting on an admins good side would be a good strategic move, but now it was because you genuinely enjoyed his company.
At first it was unnerving how... not violent the hermits were. Even though you had grown used to how kind every one was, you still couldn't deny how intimidating some of the hermits looked. Including Xisuma's heavy armor and helmet that he never seemed to take off. You've been curious about it since the start, so you finally decided to ask.
"Hey X, can I ask you something?" Watching as he perked up at his name.
"Uh... sure!"
"Why do you never take off that helmet? I get if it's personal- I'm just curious."
"Oh- well at first it was a medical thing. Now I just wear it for comfort, especially since I have some scars I'd rather keep hidden." He added the last part in a slightly weaker voice.
"Oh I get that! I've got quite a few myself!" You rolled up your sleeve to show off the burn like scar that marred the skin running all up your left arm, ending just above your wrist. The mark was much darker than a normal burn would be, it was from a wither effect.
Even through his purple visor you could see Xisuma's eyes grow wide with what you assumed was concern.
"How in the world did you get that?" His tone confirmed that you were right about his expression.
"It's a long story, but back in the Dream smp I lived in this country called L'Manberg. After an election the first president and vice president were forced to leave. Eventually they and a few other of their allies tried to take it back- or destroy it I'm not entirely sure-" you told the war story in such a causal way it felt like you were reciting the plot of a show you had watched the other day. Not even paying attention as X's face worsened.
"Anyways, during that take over one of the old presidents allies spawned two withers as a show of strength. I got caught up in the blast zone, and... here we are!" You jestered to the blackened scar in pride.
"Really? How badly messed up were you?" The wither scar looked like the entire left side of your body was almost blown off, yet you seemed as bright and strong as anyone else.
"Oh I was knocked off my feet, but I just got up and ran! It takes a lot more than one missed blast to keep me down. After the day was out though I could barely move my arm, I still try to keep too much strain off it." You added casually rolling your sleeve back down.
"Was that the only battle you've been through?" He asked with what could only be described as worried hope.
"Oh not by a long shot!" If you had been looking you would have gotten a laugh at his face. "There was L'Manbergs war of Independence, died quite a few times there, Pogtopia vs. Manberg, that's where I got that scar- and Doomsday, god I thought two withers was excessive ha! If I could've known."
"What! You went through all that! You're only like, twenty, why would someone that young be put through all that" You realized just how horrified he was. Switching to a more somber tone.
"Oh I am not that young compared to some of the others." Watching as his face dropped you continued. "The vice president? That got exiled, Tommy. He's sixteen." You thought you might have broke the admin at that point. "Seemed Dream always had it out for the poor kid. I tried to help him as much as I could, but there's not much you can do against a tyrant god."
"I- I just-" you could see him trying to process everything you'd just spilled. He settled on resting his hand on your shoulder, "you know you can stay here as long as you want. Maybe even bring some of your friends for a little visit?" You weren't entirely sure if that was a question or a statement, but you answered with a sincere nod.
"Thank you."
"Of course, don't think about it." You both turned back to the half finished tower. Xisuma had some things to discuss with the others later, but that could wait for now.

atlas: enneagram + the dream smp characters, a post: part one
so, if you don't know, Atlas: Enneagram is an album by musician Sleeping At Last, centered around exploring the nine enneagram personality types!! it's an absolutely gorgeous work of art and it makes my heart soar, and you should all absolutely listen to it!! in the meantime, i'm gonna tie each song to a dsmp character. this is the first in a nine part series >:)
ONE - c!TOMMY
Hold on for a minute / 'Cause I believe that we can fix this, over time / That every imperfection is a lie
Now hold on, let me finish / No, I'm not saying perfect exists, in this life / But we'll only know for certain if we try
can i just rave about how perfect this song is for c!tommy? because i really, really want to. right from the start, we've got the best parts of him, the parts that stay constant through his character arc. we've got the hope, the spark – the little voice that whispers 'get up, try again, i promise you it's not over.' the entire dream smp storyline is shaped and driven and defined by c!tommy's insistence to keep trying!! for l'manberg, during the revolution and during pogtopia and during the sixteenth. for c!wilbur, over and over, even no one else would. for l'manberg again, on doomsday, shouting that it wasn't gone yet when even we the viewers knew it was. for c!tubbo as they sailed off to meet c!dream, for he himself when everything in his life went to shit, and he still stepped off that tower.
and this is how his arc starts. he looks at things that have no business being fixed, and he says fuck you and tries anyways. and it's not always the best idea, is it? but damn it if he won't try.
The list goes on forever / Of all the ways I could be better, in my mind / As if I could earn God's favour, given time / Or at least congratulations
which moves us into why c!tommy is so driven to fix everything around him. because holy shit this guy's got mountains of trauma, and he feels responsible for just about every bad thing. like, it's what the other server members say, right? they tell him he's the worst person there!! it's what c!dream repeats, too, during exile, as he systematically tears c!tommy down. he's told, over and over and over, all the ways in which people think he could be better.
but it's more than that, isn't it? because like. it was c!tommy who pressed the button in the final control room. him who (in his eyes) couldn't convince c!wilbur to not blow up l'manberg!! on doomsday, fucking doomsday, he asks c!dream why he couldn't just do it all to him!!! like, he genuinely believes he's done all that wrong!! he literally scrambles for a chance to say sorry to everyone!! c!tubbo, and c!jack, and all of l'manberg prior to doomsday, he apologises and tries to do things like kill c!dream or stick with the very sketchy c!wilbur post-revival, because he really does think that he owes them this apology. that if he does do it enough, the guilt will go away.
Now, I have learned my lesson / The price of this so called perfection is everything
and this decision, to atone for all this guilt c!tommy feels? it fucking tears him apart. he pays and pays and pays, he loses his discs and his city and all three of his lives, and it does not end. he wants to try, he wants to try so much that it hurts, but that ambition's going to destroy him – it's taken everything and it's still taking, and if he doesn't watch out, he'll have nothing left.
I've spent my whole life searching desperately / To find out that grace requires nothing of me
and right now, it looks like he's starting to realise that :)
because c!tommy is a spiteful little shit, and everything has changed but his stance has not – that things can be fixed, that things can be better. and especially c!tommy himself. he stops visiting c!dream. he entirely avoids anyone – and i mean anyone – who so much as looks at him the wrong way. he's started to stand up for himself and his friends again!! he goes to therapy, and he holds post-revival c!wilbur at an arm's length, and decides, you know what, this asshole's worth fixing, too. he stops doing the bad shit – stops trying to give and give and give, and instead just... enjoys himself. goofs off in las nevadas. makes ghostbur a monument. jokes around with c!beeduo. and it's not perfect, and he still feels like he owes revivebur something, but. he's trying, you know? he's trying to learn it.
I, I want to sing a song worth singing / I'll write an anthem worth repeating / I, I want to feel the transformation / A melody of reformation
and he's gonna keep trying, despite it all. he hasn't lost his vision, not at all – he still wants to have fun, to get better, to fix his friends and get his old life back. he still wants it more than anything. but a lifetime of chasing those wants has hurt him and worn him down. he still wants to do the things that matter, but the things that matter have changed, haven't they? for both better and worse, haven't they changed? they've hurt him and so he's set them aside and made them different, but they're still there!! the guy who keeps trying is still there :)
I'll hold it all more loosely / And yet somehow much more dearly / 'Cause I've spent my whole life searching desperately / To find out that grace requires nothing / Grace requires nothing of me
and this, i hope, is where c!tommy's going :)
i don't want him to lose his optimism. i don't want him to stop trying, because it's such a c!tommy thing to try. but i want him to pick his battles. which he's already doing with revivebur, isn't he? standing up to him when he can, avoiding people who have hurt him, facing his trauma head on. i want him to hold onto the things he loves more loosely, yeah, but i want that absolute love for them to stay. i want him to become friends with c!wilbur again, to keep his friendship with c!beeduo, to hold on to the different and new things that matter. i want him to stop giving pieces of himself up – no more discs or cities or gambling with lives. and c!tommy hasn't done that stuff in a long, long time.
i want that arc to be completed, basically. and honestly, guys?
i really think he's getting there :)

Of Medea, Jason, and Other Tragedies
Some of you might remember a post I made a little while ago comparing how Quackity and Technoblade fit into the lore of the DSMP. Here are my thoughts via a 3k words of angst:
Read it on AO3
There was nothing left of L’Manburg.
It was something universally understood and known. Something that was never questioned. Something that everyone just accepted so that they could move on and not think about the nation that had too many traitors, too many broken promises, too many memories. It was something that everyone thought they believed so that they wouldn’t go looking for little pieces left behind, pieces that miraculously survived the desimation.
But Quackity knew the truth. Those little pieces could be found without looking too hard, whether it be in the fractured relationships of the SMP or the physical evidence that managed to not become ash at the bottom of a crater. And Quackity, well, he held both of those pieces in the palms of his hands.
In one hand, he held the souls of those fractured by L’Manburg’s memory. Fundy and his desperate need of a stable family, with a past scarred by a father that went mad and nightmares that haunt his waking actions. Sam and his futile attempts at control, gradually being poisoned as he pushes everyone away and tries to single handedly keep the server’s god locked in his own prison. Purpled and his lack of legacy, even in a place he so heavily influenced and his skills so valued yet so dismissed. Foolish and his beautiful builds and broken heart, running away from his destructive past and wanting peace despite the possibility of godhood sitting at his fingertips.
In the other hand, Quackity held a poster, one of the last remaining remnants of the place he had once fiercely declared home. He has no idea how it survived. Most of the physical pieces of L’Manburg that could be found were sections of buildings just far enough away from the explosions, items in random chests, or whatever was on the citizens at the time. Yet somehow, through all the fire and TNT, this poster had survived.
Technoblade. Wanted dead or alive.
Quackity had found it relatively soon after Doomsday, wandering around the crater where L’Manburg once stood. It was slightly singed on the edges and an entire corner was gone, but there it was, lying on the ground innocently, Technoblade’s mocking eyes staring at him with something like satisfaction.
He should have left the thing there. It would have eventually faded away like the rest of L’Manburg with enough time under the elements. Or maybe he should have burned it and forgot it was there in the first place. Whatever he should have done, picking it up, carefully folding it, and stuffing it into his back pocket was definitely not it. But he did. And it stayed with him for a long time.
At first, it was just there, a burning reminder in his back pocket of all he failed to do and what he promised to accomplish. It was there as he built Las Nevadas from the ground up, barely noticeable besides the constant nagging reminder in the back of his thoughts. It was there when he hired Purpled and Technoblade to take care of the Eggpire that had gone on for far too long, growing heavier and heavier each time the Blood God looked at him. It was there when he found out about Kinoko Kingdom for the first time, how the only three people he thought he could trust, the reasons he built Las Nevadas in the first place, left him behind without a second thought.
(The poster didn’t feel heavy then, but it did feel like it was laughing at him. Low and monotone, coming from deep within his memories.
The poster didn’t feel heavy then, but the two rings threaded through a chain around his neck did. They felt like shackles threatening to weigh him down and drown him.
Quackity removed the rings and hid them in a chest after that. Somehow, though, they still felt suffocating).
The poster was there for everything, tucked away in his back pocket, even when he began recruiting members for Las Nevadas. Through Foolish and Fundy, Purpled and Sam, and even through Slime. It knew everything, Quackity would find himself thinking. Of course, there was no way for a poster to know anything, but it didn’t stop the thought.
It wasn’t until after Wilbur visited him with Tommy after his revival (and so many memories of Pogtopia) that he finally took the poster out of his pocket. He was alone at the time (as he always is these days, it feels like, even surrounded by other beings) and in his unfinished casino. Sam had left nearly an hour ago to continue his duties as the Warden at the prison. The echoes of their conversation reverberated through Quackity’s mind.
Technoblade is going to the prison to see Dream tomorrow, he remembers saying. I trust you know what you have to do.
Of course, Sam had replied, the intense green of his eyes sparking in the dim lighting of the casino. You’ve done your part. Now I’ll do mine.
Quackity stared at the glass of whiskey in his hand. It had always Schlatt’s drink of choice, when he was still breathing. The smell reminded Quackity of the long nights he spent as Vice-President to a man barely sober enough to stand, let alone run a country. How many times had he put the smallest amount of poison in Schlatt’s drink, hoping that this time, it would be enough to end him for good? How many days had he spent hiding bruises and putting on fake smiles, wondering if it was all worth it? How many nightmares had he endured, thinking about everything Schlatt did and made him do?
He drank all the whiskey in one go. It burned his throat and pooled like fire in his stomach.
The glass made a satisfying thud on the counter as Quackity set it down. It was then that he finally reached for the poster in his back pocket, holding it almost gently in his scarred hands. He traced the edge of it with his finger, thinking deeply.
Quackity unfolded the poster, one fold at a time. The folds were deep from the sheer amount of time it’s spent in his pocket. It was honestly a miracle that it was still intact, given the state it was in when Quackity found it and the constant strain it’s been under since.
When Quackity finished unfolding the poster, he placed it against the wall and used his empty whiskey glass to hold it up. It looked just like he remembered, even back when the Butcher Army was first created. Sure it was faded and threatened to fold on itself at any moment, but it was still there. The reward, Technoblade’s face, the L’Manburgian flag.
Quackity stared into Technoblade’s red eyes. It was only a drawing, but whoever had done the picture nailed the resemblance to the Blood God. The scar over his eye and lip itched just looking at it.
“You know Technoblade,” Quackity found himself saying. “Before we met, I always had a healthy respect for you. Who didn’t? Everyone was in awe over the Blood God, the most terrifying fighter of our generation, rumored to never be able to die.” He sighed. “Of course, fighting was never my strong suit. You found that out first hand,” he added with some humor, though it felt flat. “Still, a part of me longed to do what you do. Words can only get you so far, get you so much respect.
“They say you should never meet your heroes. Something in that has to be true, because ever since I’ve known you, my life has been nothing but one bitter failure after another.” The poster didn’t reply, and Quackity understood with some absurdity that he was literally talking to a poster as if it were a real being. Still, he continued on.
“Well, maybe that’s giving you too much credit, but it sure feels like that. It’s just,” he trailed off slightly, moving his hands around, trying to figure out some way to articulate his point. Words were supposed to be his weapons, but here, vulnerable and trying to express something that’s been gnawing at him for so long, they scrambled in his throat. “Somehow you come out of every battle, every conflict without a single mark, yet I’m punished for every decision I’ve made since I came to this Primeforsaken SMP.”
And those words, Quackity realized, are when the floodgate inside his chest burst.
“No matter what you do, who you hurt, who you kill, what everyone wants or tries to accomplish, you have never paid for anything you’ve done to the people of this server. I remember when we took down Schlatt with Pogtopia, how you were so insistent that the government had to be taken down, all the while talking about how it was the people’s choice to live how they wanted to live. Well guess what, shithead? The people, L’Manburg, us, we decided that we wanted a government, one that listened to us and one that we could trust. And what did you do once the people made their choice? What did you do after we had called you our friend and said you didn’t have to live by our ways if you didn’t want to? You called us traitors. Said we used you, when all you ever wanted was an excuse to push your own anarchist bullshit down the throat of any server that would give you the time of day. You’re somehow the biggest hypocrite I’ve ever met, even in a world where Dream runs around as the Admin.
“But that’s not even the worst of your sins, isn’t it? I’ve watched you blow up countries with no remorse, execute a child on the whim of a dictator, corrupt and hurt every single person I’ve ever cared about, destroy what I put every ounce of my heart and soul into like it was nothing.”
There were tears aching behind his eyes now. Quackity took a shuddering breath, trying to calm his hurting heart. He thought about Schlatt and his time in Pogtopia, thought about Tubbo and Tommy and Niki and every other L’Manburgian face as they realized the nation they loved was gone at Technoblade and Wilbur’s hands. “And what were your consequences for all of this? What karma did the oh so powerful universe decide you deserved?
“Nothing. Not a single, goddamn thing. For all your violence and bloodshed, you get to live in a nice cottage in the Arctic, filled with friends that celebrate your birthday, and not a single regret.”
Quackity smiled blankly at the poster, raising his hands. By now he was full on pacing in front of it, his shoes making soft noises against the tile. All the while, Technoblade’s red eyes watched his every move.
“But what about me? Prime knows I’m the furthest thing from a saint this server has to offer, but at least I had good intentions. I went against Wilbur during the elections not because I wanted power, but because I saw what he was doing and no one else was going to call him out on his bullshit. I mean, come on! Running a single party election in a so-called democratic nation? Now, that doesn’t mean I didn’t do bad things. I should have left Schlatt the moment I realized just how bad he was. I shouldn’t have waited until after he ruined L’Manburg and executed Tubbo to join Pogtopia. It haunts me every waking moment.” Quackity stopped his pacing for a moment, lost in the memories. Tubbo screaming, the flash and bang of a firework. The explosion of color from the second firework immediately after, because the first one hadn’t been enough. The burning in his chest as he was hit with a firework of his own.
“And then, after you and Wilbur decided to blow it all to kingdom come, I did everything I thought was best for L’Manburg. I helped people. I rebuilt everything you destroyed and made it better. I wanted to hunt you down and make you pay for everything you did.” His scar began to itch again. “But I guess we both know how that turned out.
“And what were my consequences for this? For doing my best, realizing my mistakes, trying to fix them, trying to protect those around me? What karma did the oh so powerful universe decide I deserved?
“Everything. I was punished for everything. Every place I called home, every person I called a friend, every time I fell in love, anything I tried to protect, every time I tried to be happy, I was punished for it. Somehow in this fucked up version of the story, I’m the villain that needs to be punished for their actions, while you’re the blameless hero that gets a happily ever after!”
Quackity was near yelling at this point. It felt good to let out all of his emotions after so long, putting everything into the open even if no one else heard him. He forced himself to calm down slightly, running a hand through his hair.
“Have you ever heard the story of Medea and Jason?” he asked abruptly. The air of the casino seemed to shift uncomfortably with his sudden change of tone, lighter and lower than before. “You probably have, with your obsession with Greek Mythology and shit. You know something interesting about Medea, though? Even though she did horrible, and I mean horrible things, she never lost the favor of the gods. She abandoned her country for some random dude she fell in love with, plotted the murders of her brother and father, as well as murdered a princess with a poison so strong that it killed anyone she touched, and even killed her own children. Yet she doesn’t pay for any of it. Through all of the murder and sorcery, the kept her favor with the gods, and was allowed to have a happy ending. Hell!” Quackity let out a barking laugh. “She doesn’t even die as far as anyone knows! Greek mythology is known for its love of horrible and dramatic deaths, yet of all of the myths she shows up in, never once does it mention her eventually dying, even of old age! Sounds like someone else we know, doesn’t it?”
He paused for a moment, as if expecting a reply. Of course, there was none.
“Now Jason, Jason, on the other hand, we see something interesting. You see, he loses his favor with the gods, specifically his patron Hera, because he was trying to marry another woman even though he was already married to Medea and had two children with her. Can you imagine your patron goddess being the lord of marriage and family, and then you trying to marry another woman? The balls on that man, I’m telling you. The point is, none of his heroic deeds mattered in the end. He lost favor with the gods, lost his wife and children, and ended up dying alone, crushed under the weight of the Argo. The only thing left to immortalize his heroism ended up being the cause of his death.”
Quackity suddenly paused. His words echoed in the casino around him. No longer was he pacing. Instead, he stared long into the distance, as if he could see something through the thick walls. The weight around his neck was nearly unbearable. When he spoke again, it was just above a whisper.
“I guess what I’m trying to say is you are an awful lot like Medea. Doing horrible things left and right with the gods still choosing to favor you, still getting a happy ending despite all the pain and grief you’ve caused. But…” he trailed off, looking back at the poster. It may have been his imagination, but Technoblade’s eyes seemed less mocking, somehow.
“I have hope. Maybe you’re not Medea. Maybe, just maybe, you’re Jason. You’ll do something so terrible that you’ll lose your favor with the gods, lose everything that ever mattered, and you’ll be crushed under the weight of what once proved your worth.” Quackity walked forward, reaching out his hand. His fingertips stopped less than an inch from the surface of the poster, just hovering. Waiting. Contemplating.
“But I can’t wait for that to happen. I can’t wait for the universe to finally decide you’ve lost its favor.”
He dropped his hand. “You once said something, Technoblade. You said: treat others as they have treated you. That was your excuse for everything you’ve done. I tried to enact that saying once before, and I lost a life because of it. This time around…”
Quackity finally snatched the poster from the place on the wall, rattling the glass in the process. He refused to acknowledge that there was the finest tremble in his hands, making the poster shake.
“Well, the universe already made me the villain of this story. Might as well act like one.”
Quackity ripped the poster to shreds, piece by piece, one of the last remaining pieces of L’Manburg destroyed at his hands. Soon it was so shredded that it was unrecognizable, a pile of paper falling softly to his feet. When it was gone, it felt like pressure was relieved from Quackity’s shoulders. For the first time in a long while, he smiled genuinely.
He walked out of the casino, leaving the pile there for another day. He was sure Slime would clean it up without much fuss.
And if the weight around his neck grew to be nearly unbearable-- well, that was no one's knowledge but his own.

OKAY, deep dive, because i love me a peggy sue fic, and it works. so well with dsmp
Technoblade would be fun, especially because the longer back you go, the less he would know. if you put the pig into the L'Manberg Independence war, what would he even do? alternatively, yeet him back to the very start, and he'd have to hang out during the disc war, the most chill yet stupid of events. would he side with Tommy? Dream?? neither of them, and just steal the discs and keep them out of reach until they stop fighting like children? who knows! Technoblade is so flexible to play with, because you can do whatever. much potential
Dream would be hard, because canon-wise, he really did just decide to get himself torture for almost a year, huh. like. he really be unhinged. so if you did a fix it fic, why would he change? why would he refrain from just repeating the events, again and again, until it finally works? there's no reason, of course. Dream is doomed to repeat his mistakes, again and again. unless you wanted to play him differently, which. would be fun! i can see him stopping Wilbur at the beginning, seeing L'Manberg as the start of the family breaking apart. maybe he'd play nicer, maybe he'd be more cruel. it's Dream, so you really can't tell what the idiot has up in his head, which. makes him rather flexible too, albeit almost always in the same line of misery and angst
Philza is just. perfect, tbh, for a fix it fic. because he has a reason to fix Wilbur's down spiral of misery, and considering the fact that he's like. Wilbur's dad, i can see it actually working. you can even put him in later, let him chose different when it comes to Wilbur's suicidal mania, or even later again, with the Butcher Army, with Doomsday, with- more or less whatever, honestly. Philza is the kind of guy who would want to fix something, would try and change the events for the better. i can even see this working fantastically as a peggy sue time loop thing, with every failure sending him back to the start, slowly eating away at him, slowly cracking him to bits. Philza is perfect for it man. let Philza try and fix this nonsense, and then let him fail
now Eret, i think would be fantastic for it, because she canonically would change. the betrayal at the Control Room isn't something they'd do again, not ever- so you already have something to play with there, plus i'd genuinely love to see how that'd change the story, because so much of the later events are based upon that one, single, thing. like you can almost certainly trace Pogtopia back to this event, and man, i wanna see what people could do with that. it'd be cool as fuck
do i have to explain why Fundy would be fun? do i really?
(Fundy would try. he'd try and he'd try, and it probably wouldn't even work, because what say has he ever had? what voice has he ever been allowed? Fundy might change nothing at all, and not for a lack of trying)
i think Tubbo would be a curious case. i'm not sure what he'd change pre his presidency, because in what ways could he fix it? in what ways would anyone listen to him? but the biggest thing, the event we all know he'd try and fix, is Tommy's exile. and oh boy, that would be a fun catalyst- not to mention anything regarding Ranboo, or Techno, or even Sam. because little known fact, Sam and Tubbo very much used to hang out before the Prison. and i can absolutely see him try to stop that, if only to keep Ranboo out of death's ugly grip
(Wilbur would be a terrible case, if only because he's incapable of staying out of downwards spirals, of misery and tyranny, of control not within his grasp. like Wilbur would be error after error, a twisted version of a comedy of mistakes. he'd do so horrible and i do love that for him <3)
also my last one, because it's could be played for comedy and angst:
just let Connor loose. like just. peggy sue that blue hedgehog, and watch the chaos unfold. i have no idea what he'd do, but honestly? i stan it
!!!! KIT AS USUAL COMING IN WITH THE BANGER TAKES... you get them so well I love this beyond belief...
I’m so intrigued by the idea of Techno going back far enough to be there for events /before/ he joined. What does he know about that time, what second-hand accounts has he had? What does he decide to do with it? How would his presence influence what happens and other character’s opinions of him, when he’s less of a weapon called in to fight in the revolution but one of the key members of the original independence war?
Relatedly, this made me realize it would be fun to take a character that joined the dsmp even more recently like Eryn and yeet them back. They’d technically have knowledge of events, but completely through biased accounts and long-gone memories.
ALSO I HADN’T CONSIDERED ERET OH GOD...
(Also yes on Connor. He deserves it)

There’s something I like to call the supernatural paradox, dubbed so after supernatural the cw dumpster fire. It is when the main plot of a series has effectively ended but the show itself continues on, due to demands of fans or the passion of its creators, it ends up being something that doesn’t know what to do with itself, so it meanders and characters revert and stagger and everything happens but actually nothing is changed.
That’s DSMP season 2.
Because the plot has already ended, we come with a series and actually is just confused with itself. I feel like so much is promised here and it delivers but none of them have the same building of emotional impact that series one has, it’s just a mess that seems like it’s doing everything but does nothing with its everything. I saw a good post that said that season 2 is basically just them backstabbing each other constantly and it’s tiring. They have been doing that in the two months since nov 16th, just constantly without break. I get why, it’s fun role playing backstabbing your friends. But all of this betrayal has no weight to it. Nothing about the series is fundemntally changed by their betrayal. The first betrayal by c!Eret was good because it shifts the status quo, the second betrayal by c!Wilbur was good because he spent time building up to it. What character/world/narrative impact does Techno’s second betrayal hold? What long lasting impact does Tubbo exiling Tommy has other than to beat it into our heads that Dream is unequivocally the bad guy and Tommy the poor manipulated teen? And what good is betrayal if betrayal is not juxtaposed by kindness? Isn’t betrayal more painful by having the characters care about each other than what it is now, an endless charade of back and forth and back and force and back and forth.
Speaking of Tommy, what has he actually learnt in the course of the 2 months, hell, the course of the plot itself. Because at the beginning, he was attached to the discs and we see a willingness, slow willingness to give up his things for his friends or the greater good. So his character arc should be mainly about his selfishness and his selflessness. But it isn’t? Or that’s not the direction they’re going with with him? I like to say an unpopular opinion but I think I’m voicing a pretty popular one when I say that I’m sick to death of the discs. Majority viewers of the dream smp didn’t join until Wilbur started his lmanburg, they don’t know what significance the discs hold. Hell, I don’t know what significance the discs hold. The discs may be something the character is attached to, but it’s an item that the audience is not. In contrast, the audience has seen the rise and fall and rise again of lmanburg, they’re much more attached to it than they are to the discs. It isn’t enough now that the character is attached to a thing, it needs to be written in a way that the audience is attached to the same thing. If tommy randomly points to a piece of coal and said that it was plot relavent and was now the more important thing in the smp, would we care? Probably not. Some said they’re a symbol of his friendship to Tubbo, I don’t think so. Based on his whole thing in the community house the day before doomsday, Tommy thinks that the discs and Tubbo are wholely seperate things. He’s willing to put them aside to fight Dream, but for how long? Doesn’t he immediately fall back to them a second later? A Doomsday later?
Here I’m going to evoke supernatural again, I fucking hate that series but I will allude it to critique DSMP because it’s a fantastic case study in plot structure. After season 5, we can see that it does the same thing over and over again, the brothers betraying each other, finding out, getting mad and then making up then it happens in a circle again. Nothing is learnt, no character growth, no build up, no changes to the status quo. And it just goes round and round in a circle until they finally announce the series’s end. I think if the writers don’t do something new or plant a second string of overarching plot, supernatural s6-15 is the way that DSMP is going to go, just constant betrayal and backstabbing when nothing is actually happening and nothing is changing. I’m not saying that Dream or Tommy can’t be good writers, I’m just saying that they cannot head towards the same direction as season 1 with no end goal in sight because it just doesn’t work.
That being said I think there are some merits and some things that season 2 does well. In season 1, many of the minor streamers are sidelined in order to focus on the few central characters, which wouldn’t be a problem if it were a TV show but it isn’t, viewership is based on how involved everyone is with the plot and if you’re just some minor character then, well, no one is going to watch you. I think season 2 gave people a lot of time to shine and previously sidelined characters a chance to join the plot. The crimson egg side plot is interesting too and I think it would be used as a sort of Big Threat At The End sort of like the night king in game of thrones which makes everyone stop fighting each other and start fighting the supernatural or other threat. That would be fun, it would be an overarching plot with the end goal being for everyone to see that their fighting is pointless and stupid.
All in all, season 2 has potential but the potential is never used to further something greater. I think that the writers of season 2 tries really hard to emulate the feel of season 1, but season 1 can’t be replicated because there is not e condition for it. They need to derive from the original premise and come up with something new instead of the same plot but in new skins. Every character in itself is interesting, but characters can’t be interesting and stay the same forever, things need to change, characters needs to change and the plot needs to change. Season 2 has to be different to be interesting, it can’t be the same.

He was the only survivor all his family and friends being killed during the pillaging and staying in the city where he was born only make him felt pain and he decided to walk away and begun his unexpected journey days turn into weeks and weeks into months until he stumbled upon the freshly new indepedent city of L'manberg after the declaration of Independence and the city is hiring an investigative journalist and he is up the task and begun to work there and while days and weeks have passed this L'manberg he so called knew home aren't so democratic after all Since President Wilbur or Davide lowly claimed "Dictator Wilbur" is just a sole member of the government feeling unsatisfy with this he begun to make newspapers and news report on critics about the Absolute power Wilbur held and then he use the public to peer pressure the so called president on making an election and it work sort of, Since he have uncovered the plans of opening the ballots and immediately closed it outraged after learning this he anonymously tip off Quackity about the snap election happening within the L'manberg and it works and he continue to covered the news coverage from the candidacy and motivational speechs which is bland for his taste and then the debate happened while scouting the area he saw Tommy and Wilbur attempting to bribe the judge to overrule the debate session and then he also sent Quackity an several photos of Wilbur and Tommy attempting to bribe Karl and then the whole fiasco came then Manberg and Schlatt and immediately exiled him along with their former president he secretly hated.
(The Manberg Resistance Era)

No choice but to join the Pogtopia as a resistance fighter to return his home from the the evil Schlatt he still have some hope for the L'manberg but slowly it only turn into anger as he learn the true motivations of their rebellion and then Technoblade came with his anarchist ideals that managed to pursade him into and now he felt the motivation he have needed to found and then the Manberg vs Pogtopia erupted and after all this When Schlatt's die and Tubbo and Tommy immediately celebrated and installed a new government and there he was all filled with bruises and some torn bullet proof armor only to be a tool for a tryant (From his personal perspective) And then Technoblade begun to attack everyone except for Dream or Wilbur and then another minor war begun and he have joined Techno when he begun to plant withers around and then L'manberg exploded into pieces everyone is on shocked and confused and then he saw from afar Wilbur being stabbed into the chest by his own father. He somewhat felt disturbingly satisfied after that and he goes into hiding within the Tundra underground since he have used to the underground guerilla warfare on Pogtopia Rebellion, And then he have learned a new government is being rebuild.
(Era of New L'manberg)
Tumblr media
During the new L'manberg government he just slowly and secretly observe on the shadows but intervene during the failed mockery trial execution of Technoblade and went into hiding aftermath and then the Doomsday came he just stand there and watch from a far as the blaring siren of emergency echoed through the wind as the burning sulfur slowly filled the air. There nothing he can do but watch as the other citizens of L'manberg run for their lives faster and away away from the nation they lived and loved with oh he love the irony of the situation. then the Blood vines ravage the lands of the SMP with the citizens living near the pandemic sight begun to be a puppet on the egg. He decided to join Technoblade's Anarchist Syndicate and now secretly journey this vast wasteland he also got an invitation during the Red Banquet but missed it when he felt asleep due to him being sleep deprived and now he secretly works at being an employee of the casino of Las Nevadas slowly gaining intelligence and information on how to slowly destroyed this nation to the core. I've just been silent watching but I also want to add some things.
Just to be clear I don't mean any hate or to come of as angry I'm just bad at typin. I like both their characters and I'm not trying to hate on either of them :D
In my opinion, neither is the right one. I agree that Fundy didn't make a good choice with the butcher army and everything around that. But Phil is also not in the right.
Yes Fundy and Phil are related but they canonically never met before Wills death. So there first meeting was one filled with anger and grief. I very much doubt Phil actually cared much about Fundy before disowning him.
Also Techno is not related to Phil or Wilbur. To Fundy Techno is just this great warrior that particularly hates orphans and will kill without mercy. If I remember correctly Fundy barely or never interacted personality with Techno before doomsday in general.
Fundy did give up on L'manberg during doomsday but only after seeing all his friends leave and his father die because of that land.
I'm not trying to deny Phils feelings. Yes he was obviously hurt, he had to kill his son and almost lost a friend. He is an ancient being who had lost a lot of people [insert a philza is old joke here].
But it's not solemnly up to Fundy to fix their relationship.
When meeting Michael Phil blatantly said Michael was his favorite grandson infrond of Fundy. Before that when Fundy was just hanging around their property, not breaking or stealing anything, they literally made him play 'Fox hunt' to get his items back.
If Fundy is going to apologize that Phil should be willing to listen in the first place.
But I also think Phil owns Fundy an apology for some of the things he has done.
This turned out way longer then i expected and i apologize if hard to read <3
One last note:
Nobody on the dsmp is morally correct. All the characters are flawed and have made mistakes. But that only allows us to have these type of discussions which I find cool cause you can clearly see how different viewers have experience the story differently :D
“I waaasssss…. scrup pressure….t”
I don’t want to act like the bird app, but how about giving your grandpa a proper apology, you cheesy little son of a fish-fucker?
I just want Phil and Fundy to have wholesome canon interactions again, but fluffy bastard won’t even do the bare minimum to fix their relationship!
Is this to much to ask for?
