Help Heba and her family❤️
You are people who have a lot of fans and admirers.🤍🤍
Help me get my voice heard to save my family 🙏
Hello 👋
Vetted by @90-ghost
Link
Hello, I am Heba Al-Anqar, 21 years old, a university student. My university was suspended due to the war. I am writing about my family: my father Bakr (54 years old), my mother Alaa (46 years old), and my sisters Aya (18 years old), Amal (15 years old), Muhammad (13 years old), and Maryam (8 years old). We have faced many challenges in this war, from the destruction of our home to the famine we continue to suffer in northern Gaza.
My father suffers from heart problems. He had open-heart surgery when he was 36 years old. He also suffers from cartilage problems. He had his pelvic joint replaced about two years ago, in addition to other health problems. He cannot work due to his health condition.
My mother also suffers from asthma and shortness of breath, in addition to the difficulty of obtaining treatment due to the conditions and the war.
This is our house, which was destroyed by war
We have become homeless in places of refuge, in addition to the difficulty of obtaining medicine, food, and daily expenses
I created this account to request your help in this difficult ordeal by donating to meet the necessary needs, as we were relying on social assistance before the war.
My goal is to help my family live in safety and provide the necessary necessities for living, as there is a high cost of living and difficulty in obtaining necessities. We ask for your help in leaving the Gaza Strip to save my family’s life. The cost of travel is $5,000 per adult and $2,500 per child, in addition to travel and accommodation expenses of $500 per month.
Together, we can support Heba and her family through this ordeal. Your donation, no matter how big, can make a difference in my family's life to get life and start a new life
If you are looking to support Heba and her family, please consider providing assistance directly or through relevant charitable organizations.

"Guacamaya, finge demencia, después de tanta resistencia sin nadie escuchar y sin valorar" —Welcome to the Sur, Rawayana
Heeya, long time I didn't post here
Many will have seen what is happening in Venezuela, the dictatorial regime of Nicolás Maduro committed electoral fraud and is committing a mass4cre against the people since June 28, 2024.
Almost three days since the protests began, the people peacefully demanding their rights and the cowardly dictator sends his military to attack the protesters. K-1lling innocent people, CHILDREN.
For the people who support Maduro for being pro-Palestine, they are deceiving him, he is just as cruel and bastard as the Israeli government. He only uses the situation in Palestine to have good public opinion, don't be fooled.
VENEZUELA NEEDS TO BE SEEN, VENEZUELA NEEDS TO BE HEARD, VENEZUELA NEEDS TO BE FREE!

Yall have fun with your shitty right wing zionizt government you're trying to install, I'm sure it'll be soooooo much better for you dumbass
have you ever considered how desperate a nation has to be to rather have an ultra right zionist than to have a false socialist that destroys and kills it's people?
how performative is your leftism where you think that anyone branding themselves as leftist is inherently a good person? because history repeats itself, just as nazis were "national socialists" or north Korea is a "democratic republic", are you going to believe a party on discourse alone, or take in account their recorded actions for 25 years?
have you ever considered that the Venezuelan people, that have been for decades and who understand deeply the struggle of being a global south nation that is continually screwed over by imperialism, aren't the first ones to denounce genocide?
how come our genocide is justified to you? how come your sense of liberation is so transactional that you'd rather see us dead than support our liberation when one of our leaders is siding with an empire on an equally empty way that maduro did with Palestine?
when i point at people and call them out for colonial mentality and justifying what's happening to my country, pretending venezuelans are too ignorant to know what is happening, this is a tame example of it.
at least have the balls to accuse me of something as disgusting as zionism and to laugh at my nation's pain as a public account, and not like the anonymous coward you are.
I want a free Venezuela, free Palestine and every other nation from genocide, and I can say that without shame

nicolas maduro: since becoming president of venezuela in 2013 i've overseen more than 20,000 extrajudicial killings and 7 million venezuelans have been displaced
nicolas maduro: the state controls the media and content that makes the government look unfavourable will not be broadcast
nicolas maduro: i'm fully in support of russia's actions in ukraine and have close ties with vladimir putin
nicolas maduro: i rewrote the constitution in 2017 to make it easier to hold onto power for as long as possible, then i called an election early and banned the opposition parties from participating in it
nicolas maduro: this year's election had significant irregularities including censorship of voter information websites and suppression of voter registration leading to millions of venezuelans being unable to cast their vote
nicolas maduro: i announced the results of the election before the votes had been counted and i have refused to release the vote tallies. i definitely won though. the vote count was accurate to within
nicolas maduro: i announced the results of the election before the votes had been counted and i have refused to release proof of the vote tallies
nicolas maduro: the only countries to publicly congratulate me on winning the election are russia, china, cuba, and iran, none of which have free and fair elections
nicolas maduro: the carter center, an independent pro-democracy organisation, have pointed out numerous electoral irregularities and concluded that the voting figures i reported are 'statistically improbable'. they have concluded that they cannot verify the results
nicolas maduro: when other countries in south america asked for confirmation of the election results, i responded by suspending flights and cutting off power to their embassies
nicolas maduro: vote tallies supplied by poll watchers do not match the election result. so i've had a lot of them detained and many have had to flee their homes
nicolas maduro: i'm also cracking down on protesters and encouraging people to use an app to anonymously report protesters to the state. protestors and opposition politicians are being detained and killed and i have assured people that the full force of the law will be used against them
nicolas maduro: the united states, and many other countries, have expressed concern about all of this, and indeed have been expressing concern for several years about me, my policies, and the many ways that my presidency resembles a dictatorship
nicolas maduro: free palestine tho :)
people on this fucking website: the man is a hero! the people have spoken! the usa are trying to stage a coup because they don't like the fair results of a democratic election because the leader that venezuelans have chosen is pro-palestine! daddy maduro says fuck zionists 🥰

MESSAGE IN ENGLISH / MENSAJE EN INGLÉS
As a Venezuelan, I feel obliged to write a message on all my platforms, even if they are not the biggest, it is a commitment I have with my country and the people I love the most in life.
Nicolás Maduro and his string of criminals have rigged the results of the presidential elections held on Sunday, July 28, 2024, proclaiming himself president of the republic.
Venezuela has been suffering under the Chavista regime for 25 years, people are already fed up, tired and desperate. People no longer want to die of hunger, they do not want to suffer in hospitals for lack of medicines and resources, people do not want to leave Venezuela for reasons of their future, PEOPLE WANT TO LIVE, LIVE IN PEACE AND FREEDOM. And this is impossible under the Chavista dictatorship, of which Nicolás Maduro is in charge.
For this reason, people voted for Edmundo González Urrutia, the people made the candidate Edmundo González victorious, but the socialist party of the Chavistas manipulate everything at their convenience and now people are dying in the streets, fighting for their rights.
There are dead, arrested, injured and missing in all cities of the country, including minors. These people are taken to a place called "El Helicoide", the largest torture centre in all of Latin America (courtesy of the Chavistas, since the main project was for this to be a huge shopping centre). Here they undergo the worst tortures (sleep deprivation, suffocation by putting their heads in plastic bags with pesticides, among many other things), and if these people are lucky, they die and do not suffer anymore.
They also make these prisoners make videos telling people not to go out on the streets, these prisoners are obviously coerced, threatened and with the promise that they will leave them free with no repercussions for themselves or their families.
Just on July 29, a MINOR (15) was killed by a shot in the neck.
And for the people who support Palestine (as it should be) DO NOT FALL INTO THE WORDS OF NICOLÁS MADURO. That man is NOT pro-Palestine, he is only anti-United States.
That talk of "Long live free Palestine" in front of the cameras is pure story, do you really believe it? When not even his own country is free?
VENEZUELA IS A DICTATORSHIP, THERE IS NO ANY KIND OF DEMOCRACY.
In an upcoming post I will collect links so that they can donate for funeral expenses, donations to buy medical products for the injured (saline solutions, gauze, medicines, gloves, etc...) and, if you can't donate, please SPEAK

There is no Left in Latinoamerica, just a bunch of opportunists that will say ANYTHING to look like "the good guys" while murdering their own people.
They don't care about any of the flags they claim to care...
Don't believe them.
yk what this is not a post for the tags tbqh. im gonna be so real rn i cannot stand reading takes from usamericans about venezuela. like, i understand and agree that you should be allowed to critique and question all kinds of US intervention or support. which is why anyone would be hesitant to support the US backed opposition in venezuela. but at the same time you should also be able to recognize that this country has been suffering under a left wing dictatorship for the past 20+ years that has constantly cheated and committed fraud, imprisoned political opponents, violated human rights, and more recently, lead their country into starvation and an economic crisis. like. there HAS to be change!! it's gone on for too long!! anyone who has looked into venezuela even a little beyond the surface will realize this! i'm not asking for a US intervention either i'm just saying that you SHOULD NOT be supporting maduro's reelection and the majority of venezuelans wouldn't want you to either because he DID not win
#and no one in the northern hemisphere cares about this mf country and it's so frustrating but at the same time i get it or whatever#no one has the capacity to pay attention to several global atrocities at the same time#just dont think maduro is great because he supports palestine#free venezuela#venezuela#fuck nicolas maduro

Begging Americans to not base their opinions on the situation in Venezuela on what Maduro has said about Palestine. A broken clock is right every 24hrs.
Just because Maduro said "Free Palestine" once it doesn't mean that Venezuelans aren't going through real suffering. No one is going to put their children through crossing the Darien when things are fine in their country, that's for fucking sure.
For the love of God, stop using Palestine as a get out of jail free card to avoid acquiring uncomfortable nuance that challenges your position about Venezuela. Palestine and its people deserve better than that.
People from the poorest areas in the country the ones that have, admittedly suffered the most through all these years, are tired and they need support.
I'm going to speak from the perspective of someone who lived in Catia, one the biggest low income areas in Caracas. Catia is a big portion of Caracas, it is divided in smaller areas like Isias Medina Angarita (where I lived), but it includes Los Magallanes de Catia, Plaza Catia, Propatria, Perez Bonalde, 23 de Enero.
23 de Enero is an iconic, immediately recognizable view for any caraqueño. 23 de Enero is also ruled by Colectivos. What are Colectivos? Government armed militias used to "prevent" unrest in heavily populated, low income areas. They also have Juntas Comunales, that are basically a board of directors from government supporters that determine if you deserve to receive resources (minor stuff like food or gas for cooking). If either the Colectivos or the Junta Comunal decide you stepped out of line, you'll face consequences. The members of the Colectivo will basically surveil your every move. The Junta Comunal will ban you from acquiring a CLAP box (a box with certain foods sold at a controlled price, that you have to enroll to receive), or ban you from acquiring gas cylinders that you NEED to cook because houses in these popular areas do not have gas pipes. For years they have controlled people in these areas by terror and starvation.
I don't know about y'all, but that doesn't seem democratic to me.

Listen, the DNC fucking nailed that convention so hard, I'm positive we're gonna win.
The party platform they laid out is immaculate. The stark contrast in messaging from that of the party of loveless, bigoted, weirdo, grifter, ghouls couldn't be more plain.
Somehow, in just 4 days, the Dems have officially become the party of family values, in addition to being the party of equality and inclusivity. It's actually surreal to those of us old enough to have slogged our way through many contentious election cycles and decades of hypocrytical myopic bullshit foisted upon us by old-fashioned post-Reagan conservatives.
The selection of Tim Walz as VP turned out to be masterful. Next to him, JD Vance looks even more pathetic and stupid than he already did. The men on the republican ticket are fundamentally incapable of acting like the informed, caring adults on the historic democratic ticket.
I'm disappointed in the youth on social media as usual. As an elder millennial progressive, I have always been further left than the tickets I've voted for and the administrations I've supported. Even my favorite politicians have done things I don't like or agree with. But that's the way it is. It's something we as voters and citizens do not have full control over and never will.
I believe in a free Palestine and I in no way condone the US involvement in supplying Israel with weapons in an unjust war. I also am not a fan of the barely disguised antisemitism that's permeating that cause, and I'm smart enough to know that the entirety of the conflict is much more complex than the last year's news cycle. You can seek out documentaries by credible news sources (like the excellent Vice News program previously aired on HBO and other cable channels) that detail bothe the history of Israel, the history of Palestinian struggles, and the history of the US relationship with Israel, and what that territory means to the different religious factions that want it for themselves (and how sects of Christianity have been indoctrinated into the cause of gaining it for themselves).
The thing is that this election isn't about that relationship or that conflict. It's not about anyone else's country. It's about ours.
I'm American, but I grew up in Venezuela. They just had a big election there that resulted in a steal from a dictator-like unpopular president. But unlike ee did with Trump the first time he lost, they can't actually get his ass out of the presidential palace. Chavez and Maduro have ruined that country with the same anti-democratic tactics that Trump would love to employ and pushed millions of citizens to emigrate from the country.
None of that is about the US either.
My point being, every country on this planet has it's own problems that for better or for worse, we have to largely leave in the hands of the citizens of those nations to resolve.
This is your opportunity to continue the slow correction of the path we've been on in America since Clinton and Obama. It's a slow march towards progress that keeps getting stymied and dragged back, then pushed a little bit forward again. These moderate liberals are the only vote we have that will ever possibly lead to a truly progressive hero and champion. You know, most likely someone in one of our generations.
Millenials and Gen Z have a lot in common, but as the older of the two, I'm telling you, only time and experience will prove to you that you can't have everything in one candidate or even an entire party, and wasting your ability to actually make a difference for noble ideals that won't make an actual difference to those lives you think you're trying to save is illogical.
Israel will not stop bombing Gaza because you sat out of a US election, or because you protested the DNC, or protest voted 3rd party.
Until the system is overhauled, there is no point in 3rd party voting. Of course we should have more than 2 options. We don't.
Anyway....... I am joyful this week.
I still can't believe Grandpa Joe actually got pushed out of the nomination. They are taking this swift shift to Kamala Harris and running Sha'Carri Richardson fast with it.
Get on board.
It's nice not to feel doomed all the time. I don't even care if it's partially an illusion. I know the alternative is a living nightmare that needs to end.
#dnc#kamala harris#elections#vote#harris/walz 2024#we're gonna hold onto this silly country by the skin of our teeth

i'm going to translate this post into english because i think a lot of my mutuals and followers need to read what it says:
the anonymous ask:
the truth is i find it ignorant that most people pretend the opposition is not a puppet of the [us]american far right, but at the same time it is true that we're a puppet of russia in the same way.
denying the historical reality of our country and pretending that right-wing dictatorships were "soft" dictatorships is not learning from the mistakes of the past and will only lead us to be in the same position we are now. subjugated by a regime on the other side.
the reblog:
is the dictator of venezuela [maduro] in power because it suits political powers beyond civilians? yes
is the opposition in venezuela [gonzalez] a puppet of the [us]american far right? yes
are neither of the options good? yes
nothing guarantees that a different government won't be manipulated from outside forces. venezuela is a huge port and everyone knows about the drug trafficking that moves millions and millions of dollars. clearly, they aren't going to let that go easily.
does that mean we have to leave the dictatorship as it is? no. does that mean there is a favorable alternative that DOES think about the well being of my people? no!
venezuelan politics are extremely complex, and that's why we are where we are now, but damn, at this point i think the majority agrees that all we want is to recover the basic needs and have a chance at prospering. how does that look with the current politics? i wish i knew.
~
i want to say that i'm fully aware of US sanctions on venezuela, and how that contributes to the crisis they are having with lack of basic necessities including medical supplies. i'm fully aware of the fact the US has tried to intervene--and has intervened--multiple times in venezuelan politics, and is once again interested in doing so, and is pumping out as much propaganda as they can to push their backed candidate (gonzalez).
however i need yall to realize maduro is not your fucking friend. i don't care that he said "free palestine"--he's paying lip service to what is socially acceptable. maduro is besties with turkey's far right president erdogan, who has denied the armenian genocide and has praised azerbaijan for their ethnic cleansing of artsakh. maduro has gone so far as to say this man is "like an older brother to him." how is that a man that's "for the people" if he's buddy buddy with a genocide denier? and it's also not as though maduro didn't make poor financial decisions that, in the midst of an already poor economy, and made it worse. that's an article linked from al-jazeera, by the way, in case you think i'm supporting US imperialism here or something. and of course, US sanctions made an already terrible problem leagues worse, and i would never deny that.
to be clear, obviously, i do not support US interventionism in venezuela in any shape or form, and the push for gonzalez as a candidate is obviously just another ploy by the US to get their own backed candidate in office to make venezuela into another neocolony. but the way that everyone has been putting maduro on a pedestal and essentially saying he's beyond reproach is driving me insane.

If all a corrupt politician has to do is say that "they are in favor of Palestine" to have the support of the people, then the people are stupid as fuck.
If you can't distinguish a lie from a sincere feeling, you need help.
Anyway, that fact that Maduro "won" again the elections is not something to celebreate, and im done with people, from USA mainly, saying they are happy just bc the man said "Free Palestine" a couple of days before the elections. And Im saying this as a pro palestine person. If you are from a english speaking country and you have no idea whats going on over here please shut up. We don't need uneducated opinions.
I hug my venezuela brothers and sisters in these hard times.
making a quick disclaimer here: Controversial maybe, but even if he was pro palestine for real that wouldnt change the fact that he is a cruel dictator. People are complex like that. Nothing is always black and white
