Not sure how I feel about that ending tbh :-/ Idk what it was about season 4 but it kinda just felt. Lazy? Especially since it was only 6 episodes instead of the usual 10

There’s just so many things they could have and SHOULD have done and explained that they didn’t. Why did Ray leave Allison? Why did none of the Sparrows exist in the new timeline? Why wasn’t Luther way more upset about losing his WIFE? Why were things just chill between Allison and Viktor after all the shit she put him through? Why didn’t she ever apologize? Why the FUCK did they make this random side arc to force a romance between Lila and Five that never even got resolved btw!!! And speaking of things that never got resolved. Ben?? They just. Fucking left him? I thought this season was gonna be all about saving Ben and bringing him back into the family. And Jennifer? Why was she even there we got no explanation to her powers or why she was randomly inside a giant squid or why her powers were different from everyone else’s and why she got them. Also I’m SO pissed they decided to go the “they need to be erased from existence for there to be peace” route, that’s such a cheap way out 😭 Really did not like that ending. I GET the whole message but that doesn’t mean I have to like it lmao

There’s just so many loose ends they didn’t tie up and it just felt. Super unsatisfying. I miss the first two seasons those were both really well done and felt like more cohesive of a story 😔

Like It Like I Love It: EASILY my top 1 from this year. it was everything reader box would have wanted in a yuri fic: a casual relationship, a possibility that there's something more in it, hot sex (literally), and just the right amount (maybe a bit too little) of showing off babygirl yul. i really hope this isn't peak box but going back to why i started writing in the first place, which is that i wanted to see more quality yuri fics, this was something that if i were still a reader would have sated me for at least another year. good job box!

can't remember if I said it out loud on the tl but im not a serious writer! that just means that I dont consciously aim to improve how I write and I'm totally fine with the skills and style I have now, and any exp gained or skills learned is has been passively achieved

that said, I'm really so so happy with Fly in the Night Trip and Love in the Night Train. In my first ever fic i said i wanted my next work to be a smut, and that i would be able to write more of what i wanted on my blog soon. Enjoy was both of those, and i even got to write so much more of my ult bias throughout the year and then some. you could call it self-serving, or as @capslocked so eloquently put it, unconsidered readers, all of you. :sitt:

thats why im really happy to be able to come full circle with another fluff in Love in the Night Train, because i feel like it concludes such an awesome year in such an awesome way. id tell 2023 box that just keeping at it wouldve worked out so well, but the extra effort to write just a tiny bit better, to listen to @midnightdancingsol's advice, to stick with it even though work fucked us up (and still does) is going to be well worth it

ok obviously im not as proud of this one. but each time i did, it was me reevaluating how I run the blog and what sort of stuff I'm getting myself into. it was well worth taking a step back from writing and just figuring out what exactly I wanted to do, and the breaks did wonders for how I paced myself.

these were me asking myself questions that struck the very core of how I conduct this cacophony of a kpop smut blog. it made me aware of arbitrary rules I was holding myself to, and gave me a chance to do away with them. everyone has to clear out their inventory every once in a while, and these were mine :DDDD

ive stopped tracking notes bc I learned since I occasionally write nugu and non-smut to never expect 100+ and I'm always pleasantly surprised when I get there slfjglah but yeah, there's better things to keep track of like what I did above

these are what really matter to me: yuri, writing, and the community i've become part of. while I do think the 1022 club is a fun milestone to celebrate, anything else is a bit more work than i care to make a separate post about (except maybe on bluesky lmao)

at my core, im a glassy, a true fan of the little ball of sunshine that is jo yuri. i keep saying that as long as im able to make one of you lovely readers a fan of her too, i'll know i'm doing good! so to all you box followers, all you honorary glassys, please tune in to yuri! she just released her tenth(!!!) You just hated each other for no goddamn reason

From what you could remember at least

Your groups met up, and maybe he gave you a look, maybe you didn't like his attitude or you or him made a comment

You guys were very competitive over who was better at their craft so that was probably it

You guys just despised each other

Which was pretty bad since you guys had to be close together almost all the time

Why?

Your bands were friends with each other and your producers had the great idea to do some sort of Collab since both bands were similar

You and Tom were at each other's throats the entire time you had to be close together

And what was worse?

Fans seemed to not care, seemingly putting you guys together as a ship they thought was cute

It seemed like they wanted to torture you

They seemed to love the "tension" between you two, as the tabloids put it

And worse, you were scheduled to do photoshoots and interviews with Tom with just you two

Maybe it was the work of everyone together

Mainly Bill and the lead singer in your band, they got annoyed with how much you guys would throw insults

So they forced you guys to be in shoots, interviews, videos, anything to make it get better

They didn't think it would work, but they indeed did try

At first it was rough, the worst it ever seemed to be with you and Tom

You thought he was an asshole and he thought you were stuck up and boring for thinking he was an asshole

But somehow and someway, you both seemed to dwindle together

Nobody knew what to expect but it was certainly better than before

definitely my For You, I Would fic. I don't have very many Armin fics but I enjoyed writing for him a lot because he's just such a shy little bean and so full of wonder and love. I could really see myself wanting to take him out on a date. This was also a request for my friend Tay and it was fun catering her interests within the story and how it works well with Armin!!

for sure it would have to be Unspoken Words. I'm proud because it was the first time I've written something for myself in a long time. I didn't think I would care as much about fanfic until I fell in love with AoT, now look at me LMAO. UW helped me become a better writer as well as be more confident in areas I thought I lacked. I quite literally used it as a way to be better, and I'll always be proud of it. My first ever full and finished fic, I'll never forget it <3

❥ fic I wish got more recognition

probably Can I Go Where You Go? mainly because I really liked writing the semi plot twist at the end. like if you were caught up with season 4 of AoT, you would know what I was alluding to and it's like a kick in the gut LMAO. but also I thought I did pretty well with the descriptors, not to brag ofc. :3

I SPENT 30 MINUTES LOOKING FOR THIS. but the saddest will have to be this short drabble about Levi losing you in an expedition and him coming to your old room, reminiscing. I don't know what brought it on but I was like, huh. let's just be SAD.

it was about time i typed out my thoughts on grateful cypher lol. i’m still processing it actually!!!! but i actually think this play is not for me lmao!!!! it was a genuinely fantastic play don’t get me wrong, like i was actually taken aback by how the play went down, depicted some of my fav relationship beats at their finest and had lots of banger moments, but the moment it became very tdd centric, i knew this was not the play for the type of fan i am lol

but whatever!!!! i’m used to feeling like sasara and kuukou are side pieces so here’s what i really enjoyed about grateful cypher!!!!!

like the title alone was sending me but then the actual song made me laugh so hard, there were literally tears in my eyes and i had to go back to make sure i didn’t miss anything bc i was laughing so hard LOL

like that song literally put the power of music on display, when jyushi and hitoya got separated in tokyo and had their own little adventure bumping into the other divisions trying to find each other, the beat was literally

like stage ramuda has one hell of a stage presence, he carried that entire scene, from that nonchalance that made rosho accuse him of hurting🎋📿🌙, to his eventual descent into feeling betrayed but accepting bc it was his own actions that caused so much distrust in him

the hama fans were (rightfully) upset there wasn’t a single scene between mtc, and it’s very likely bc if samatoki had been with a single member of his team, much less the both of them, he would not have gotten taken out by west end mafia lmao

and more on hachiouji division!!!!!! ain’t they neat lol????? they’re so interesting, they all want to be praised and validated, like tokuma (kinda), yoshitsune, ranmaru and shion all turned to mahiru for that validation and west end mafia’s ultimate goal was mahiru’s way to gain that validation ITS SICK

and i really liked the way you could kinda tell mahiru and tokuma were like a boss and his right hand man 🥺🥺🥺

so this is a bit of a newer headcanon i have of him, but i feel like he's transmasc or genderfluid

raf never really cared about gender roles and things like that, but he overheard miko talking about how she didn't mind being called a girl or a boy or whatever people wanted to call her

he asked her about it and she replied saying she knew herself better than anyone else so it didn't matter what other people thought or wanted to label her, she knew who she was and that's the important part

miko then went back to talking about monster trucks or something and raf's just *cue the mind blown emoji*

i dont like saying it on here much cuz its one of the most popular ships in the fandom (the number one most popular ship is kubokai, and im not a fan of that either ☠️ i just think theyre the ship you get from looking at the show/manga purely at surface level and just picking two characters that are close friends and saying 'they should date' even though they wouldnt actually fit together.. i just dont see it personally lol.. OKAY ANYWAY SORRY-) but i really dont like torisai 🧍🏻‍♀️

(im about to talk about sa under this, fair warning)

i literally just posted today about people shipping things in ways that mildly trigger me, and torisai shippers do it pretty bad !! for some reason, mikorei shippers and yumetori shippers etc dont really do the thing that torisai shippers do where they romanticize sexual assault in the way they write them.. im not sure why that is, maybe they think that men cant be sa'd in the way women can ? they think cuz its a gay ship that its okay to write tori sexually harassing and assaulting him (+acting like its cute, not tagging it accordingly with warnings, etc) ? crazy. especially since saiki is implied to be a victim of sa (or at least is canonically a victim of sexual harassment and attempted sa) by his brother..

that whole thing is something i genuinely think is awful and nobody should romanticize sa, but toritsuka isn't inherently awful and still had potential and good character development, so that alone doesnt really make the ship that bad since the shippers are the problem.. i actually used to be okay with it until the shippers ruined it for me, but thinking critically about it (and thinking about WHY the shippers believe that their dynamic is so sexually abusive) did make me realize how much the ship sucks anyway.. (imo !!)

its partly because i project onto saiki, but i already mentioned how saiki is canonically a victim of (at least attempted) sa, and i reallly believe that he would not be interested in dating someone who is so obsessed with sex to the point where he canonically sexually harasses people and tries to peep without their consent !! he is literally an sa victim, obviously that would make him so uncomfortable!!

their friendship at the end of the series is nice and one of the most developed in the series, so i get where people got the ship from, cat tank incident invites a lot of content about them... but toritsuka still has a lot of work to do on himself before he can date ANYONE, and ESPECIALLY a literal sa victim..

when he saw saiki as a girl, one of the first things he did was DIRECTLY ask him about his boobs.. WHY WOULD HE DATE HIM AFTER THAT SKSNKAKAMSK..

TMNT 2007 Headcanons: Their Reaction to you thanking them

Leonardo

family means everything to him, and in a way, you’re a part of that family too

He remembered how upset you were after he came back from South America a whole year after he was supposed to, 

how he tried his best to ease back into things with you,

And how you acknowledged his efforts

You felt forgotten at one point. There was a period where Leonardo just stopped sending letters to everyone, even you. 

It felt horrible, you overthought to the point where a scenario popped up- your own boyfriend forgot about you

He sits you down one day, when everything’s finished: Winter’s portal is closed, and everything is back to normal. While he did apologize when he came back from South America the same night, it wasn’t to the multitude that he was apologizing right now

“I’m…so sorry. I know you may have thought I forgot about you, but, how can I? How can I forget a beautiful face like yours?”

He can’t. He could never forget you. He couldn’t forget the platonic friendship he shared with you for the first 2 years of knowing each other, to then be in a relationship right before his training. 

He lets you know that. That you mean everything to him. Truthfully. 

The talk he has with you makes you love him even more, and it ends with a long, drawn-out hug. 

And when you finally get to the moment everyone in the family has been waiting for, you’re ecstatic. Where you, the turtles, Splinter, April, and Casey all get to hang out in the Lair like old times. 

Where you have a whole night to just converse with everyone, no matter what the topic is about.

 How happy you are to openly talk about Raph’s fame, Mikey’s daily beatdowns, Donnie’s shitty job, how big Leo’s bug bites would get, anything! It didn’t matter. 

As April and Casey leave to the surface, everyone except Leo retreats to their respective rooms. Now, it’s just you and Leo in the middle of the living room. 

He’s already yawning and offering his strength to carry you up to his own room when you stop him. You stop him to thank him. 

“Of course, love. I know you’re tired and I usually carry you upsta-hmm?” Leo’s brown eyes look into your own, trying to figure out what you’re thanking him for. 

“Just…for being there. All of you guys.” 

It was a lot more than that, and he knew it. As he lifts up your chin with his thumb and meets your eyes, he just kisses you. 

The thank you’s come out like vomit, and soon you’re thanking him for his understanding family, his entertaining siblings, and their two human friends that also walked into your life. How they really made you feel like one of them. From the moment you met Leo’s family to now, they truly love you like you’re family. 

He loves it. He loves that he not only gave you the love that you deserve, but he also gave you people- and mutants- that deeply care about you. 

Raphael

Raph isn’t as good as the rest of his brothers when it comes to dealing with someone else’s emotions. 

He isn’t sure what to say, or if he’s saying the wrong or right thing

But lately he’s been taking you out for nightly bike rides after things were settling back to normal. Sure, he dumped the Nightwatcher gag, but his motorcycle? No. He couldn’t. That’s his baby. Err, second baby after you. 

You loved the adrenaline rush it gave you, and on this particular night, Raphael knew there would be a full moon out (yes, I HC that Raph loves a good stargaze.) and wanted to take you to get the best view. 

“Ya like it?” He asks as he helps you take off your helmet, only to see your eyes puffy, and tear-stained cheeks.

“…did I do sumthin? Did tha ride give ya whiplash?” He isn’t sure. 

He’s trying to think of anything that may have upset you but he doesn’t find one.

“No,” you wipe your eyes, “No, it’s not you, or the ride, I just…” 

“Just, thank you. For being there for me. Always.” Not even just your boyfriend, but his family. His best bud Casey always looking out for you, too. 

You thank him for the bike rides, for being truthful about being the Nightwatcher, and because you were truly able to feel at ease around him. 

Raphael is already a pretty observant turtle, but the fact that you were able to be yourself around him comfortably is what this whole thing is about. 

Raph’s golden eyes stare at your form, and when your arms (attempt to) wrap around his whole body in an embrace, he smiles down at you.

 He’s not good at words, he never was. He was good at showing. So, he showed you how much he loved you. He showed you that he always wanted you around, and he showed you comfort when you didn’t have any. He was more of a soother. 

So, he doesn’t say anything. He just embraces you. 

“Anytime, babe. Anytime.” He pats your head like he always did, only for his hands to rest at your waist soon after. Pulling you close and in for a kiss, he can’t remember when and where he got so lucky. 

Because-- if he’s being honest- he didn’t like you like that in the beginning. When you first met him as the Nightwatcher one night, it was simply a damsel in distress sort of meeting. He saved you, did his job, and was ready to leave. 

But, he couldn’t. Not with you trying to get to know him better. He still doesn’t know what possessed him that night to get involved with a stranger, and he’ll never know. He probably just couldn’t resist someone as cute as you. 

Regardless of how you two met or how long it took for you to go from friends to lovers, Raph was also grateful to have you. Though, he probably wouldn’t tell you verbally.

Donatello

Honestly, out of all the four turtles Donnie is gonna be so happy if you thank him for anything.

I’m talking smiley face the rest of the day- even if you thank him for holding a door open for you

He loves it, he loves the praise (SFW & NSFW aside, Donnie likes being appreciated in general)

Since you’re also his first relationship (don’t bring up his April era) he really, REALLY appreciates you.

It happens one day in his lab. For starters, you were Donnie’s lab assistant often. He doesn’t have much to do in the daytime after he quit his I.T job, so he spends it doing experiments

And you can’t believe that 1) you’re Donnie’s permanent assistant, and 2) that you got so lucky to be a part of his life. 

Master Splinter told you that, though he said fate played a role as well. You may never have known that he and his sons existed if it weren’t for Donnie crashing into your window after a failed jump on the rooftops. Once you came running into your room and let out a scream, it was history. 

Donnie was a cutie, and his brothers were pretty easygoing (Leonardo being suspicious of you in the beginning, Raph not fazed, and Mikey excited that he gets to talk to yet another human being. He’s going 3 for 3 now.)

“Thanks, Donnie.” As the purple-banded turtle turns around, he looks at you confusedly with those magnifying goggles that make his brown eyes 1000x bigger. 

It’s sort of comical despite the serious moment you want to have with him.

“Not that I don’t enjoy when you thank me, dove,” He says,  “but for what exactly?”

“Just, you know, being you.” Having an amazing family, and two amazing human friends. You told him all of that. 

That if it weren’t for his clumsiness almost 3 years ago, you would still be with those “friends” who you had to put on a front for. With Donnie, no, you never had to. Even with his brothers and sensei, they knew the real you, and they loved it. 

“Oh, of course!...I…thank you, dove.” Donnie takes off his goggles and plants a kiss on your forehead,  “That means a lot to me, that you feel comfortable. That’s what I care about.” 

God he’s so cute. How he just smiles widely, blushing and fumbling with the test tube in his hands

Donatello felt accomplished that he made you feel that way around him, and that his family did the same. How you built bonds with all three of his brothers, and had a sort of guiding parent relationship with his rat sensei. 

He loved it all, because he never thought he would ever be able to experience being loved or someone appreciating him as much as you do.

Michelangelo

He really likes to make you happy, and he was the first one you befriended when meeting the turtles

You’ve come accustomed to being around your boyfriend and his family, especially because you were always invited to the Lair whenever you wanted to come down. Their home was your home

He becomes your boyfriend during Leo’s absence, and it means everything to him. Mikey constantly looked forward to getting a massage from you after a long day of getting beat up by little kids for a check.

Mikey becoming your safe space. He’s a good listener, and a damn good advice giver. Despite his brothers thinking he’s a doofus at times, Mikey really wants what’s best for you

He and his brothers becoming your main friend group. You hang out with them more, and although you already had a friend group up at the surface in your normal life, they didn’t compare to the joy that the turtles brought you

You never actually thanked him verbally, yet you showed and told him all the time how much you appreciated him and his family’s presence in your life. Not only that, but you were even able to meet two humans as well- and April and Casey were truly amazing. 

This thank you just comes out one day while you’re down in the Lair. 

You’re on the couch watching your boyfriend Mikey dictate someone else’s life in Sims while you both converse back and forth. Despite Mikey loving fast-paced action games, Sims was just something he loved to play with you. 

You take your head off his lap and lean in to give him a peck on the cheek, and he (almost) faints. He loved getting kisses from you, always. 

“In public?” Mikey whispers, peering over his shoulder to see the eldest brother walking by. After scoffing and lightly hitting him on the arm, you smile.

just finished echoes of wisdom!! (MAJOR) spoilers under the cut for my initial, very fresh thoughts. Lots of them

the outfits were so so cute. kitty outfit was a big hit for obvious reasons but I also loved Silk PJs and OG princess fits (dress and traveling one... <3) theres apparently a blue version of the dress and black cat outfit you get from amibos but I wasnt 100%ing and im not buying amibos just for that (even tho I would really like 2 have it akdsfk) a+ accessory designs too!!

great character designs, insanely varied for the gerudo and goron designs between every npc!! (probably the best gerudo designs to date IMO)

fav echoes were Hoard of Crows (me siccing like 6 crows on enemies) gold wind up bird u get from dampe (btw fun new role for him!!) bc I Liked Fast Money, lv 3 lizalfos (BLUE BIG BODYGUARD FOR ME) and lv 3 darknut. also obviously teddy bear. was throwing it at NPCs i liked all game

really enjoyed how many enemies returned from previous games!!! and diving!!! diving finally came back!! (LOVED the zora area, had a lot of fun with the pirate ship area over there too)

what was up with that one optional boss that was like a sentient fart. that was weird and I suspect he was supposed to come back and then I missed him on the second go around LMAO

the hebra mountain storyline had me in TEARS i was spawning teddy bears at that dude to try to make him feel better rapid fire (this did not help. sad) i was hoping i could find his brother and make him go back ;_; (cant recall the dudes name but that was the same species as the ones from twilight princess, right?)

the way i leveled up my swordfighter form SO much expecting to use it in the final boss fight and then had to give link his shit back and was unable to use it in the final fight?? INFURIATING. docking points on the rating for this game just for that shit. why give me the option to level up my sword and energy if not let me use it again null??? AUGH!!! I WANTED TO FIGHT TOO!!! NOT JUST USE ECHOES!!!

link and zelda both having to fight evil versions of each other at some point was kind of slay tho (also us having to come rescue him from the crystal? also slay) fanfic writers please have them jumping at mirrors and also seeing each other for a while tho, great concept

the final boss had me really surprised, i was 100% expecting ganon to show up or be the final boss (HE WAS ON THE POSTER...AND COVER ART...) but he was just another echo?? so where did null get that echo, exactly? was the ganon at the start that kidnapped zelda the real one, then link killed him and null echoed him from there?? unclear

null was a great final boss conceptually tho and i 100% hope they use them for future games. eldritch horror wasnt what i expected but thats AMAZING (putting their disappointing, sort of chaotic, but not hard final boss fight aside). very scary. very cool. walking around in their insides(??) to get to them (??) was awesome. love when cute games get a lil dark. adds flavor. cool new lore!!! cant wait for the lore implication theory videos to come out (do we think null is stronger than demise?? I decided I Do think so, demise is a Demon and null is some huge cosmic horror, feels like the scales tip to null being stronger...)

why was everyone at the end so shocked at what link said. whatd he say that had them shook i need to know (was it that he could talk again?? wasnt that a temporary problem from being in the void lol??)

need more games to play as zelda now. loved it. best loz game to come out since botw, maybe actually ranks higher in my mind?? (could be recency bias ofc, but it checked so many boxes for me) really fresh concept, my only real gripes are how the final boss fight played out (GIVE ME MY SWORDFIGHTER FORM BACK!!! LET ME SLICE!!) and the dang echo menu being 234234 miles long...the sorting features were nice, but still, needed a better menu for that in general. i scrolled 30 miles in the snow uphill etc.

also barely any of the ost was super stand-out to me, which (like. it was FINE but given how good the music in cadence of hyrule was they shouldve brought those guys back to do this music tbh. that game had me spoiled on good loz remixes. I stand by the fact it has probably the best ost in ALL of the zelda games.)

i LOVED the puzzles and dungeons. missed them soo much in recent loz games. i LOVE PUZZLE!!!!!!!!! none of them were too hard and it also wasnt too hand-holdy. perfect level of makes me think but not Steam my Brain type stuff.

smoothies were cute and really fun to play with. the deku scrubs were SO cute (they all used they/them too i think. based) all the CATS!! WERE SO CUTE!! just really appreciate how cute everything in the game was in general. the fact i could chuck teddy bears at enemies. best game actually

cant say i was crazy about any of the mini games but none were super hard once you had the froggy item. it felt like cheating a lil bit to use it but that was one of the items I wore until the end (along with my cute heart bow of COURSE. cant be saving hyrule if you aint cute)

fav NPCS were hebra mountain guy (conte??) the gerudo chief's daughter (she really felt like zelda's sidon, but not annoying <3) and general wright surprisingly (I really enjoyed how loudly supportive of zelda he was!! he was like YEAH OUR PRINCESS IS SO STRONG SHE CAN FIX IT AND BEAT THOSE MONSTERS!!! LETS GOO i loved that energy for us)

saying goodbye to tri destroyed me. I was crying real ugly tears. (I started thinking about my dog and saying goodbye to him last month and how much tri's speech reminded me of what I told him AUGH. its still fresh and hurts but this was somehow really healing to play. like this came at the perfect time I think)

thoughts subject to change once I watch other people's playthrus and listen to theory videos and think on it for a while but rn? solid 8/10 game (and I only docked points for the dang end boss fight really, REALLY good game up until then)

There’s a couple of reasons as to why I don’t have much interest in the game!!

1. Gameplay

I honestly cannot stand this new trend of horror games that are just the player talking to people, walking around, occasionally finding an object. I dislike this in the game Bad Parenting also. I’m like. Why does this have to be game? There’s no gameplays so what’s the point? I think it would’ve been more enjoyable as a novel or an animated series with the graphics it already has! It would be very striking. So yeah I find the actual gameplay very dull. Also the controls look really wonky from when I watched gameplay of it

2. Characters

I found myself not really caring too deeply about anyone? Like Curly is okay I guess, I like his design and the disability theming but his actual personality is so meh to me. Jimmy has potential but it never really explains why is inferiority complex is so deep so I’m just like ??? Barely any of the characters ever get and of their backstory or family life discussed except for Daisuke and Swansea but even then it’s very little (but those two are my favourite characters and I have very little criticism for them lol. They carried the game). I have so much hatred in my heart for the way they wrote Anya. It just feels so misogynistic to me. Like ofc the only woman on the crew has the rape as backstory + pregnancy plot. I’ve never seen that before /s. I’m just so tired of that being the only plot line women get in horror media. I understand the pregnancy is supposed to parallel with Curly’s disability but it’s still a very tired trope. Also her design is clearly ripped off of Wendy Torrance from The Shining lmao. There’s also a lot of other design elements that are kind of ripped off from Evangelion (the text on screen resembles the the title cards, Curly post accident resembles an Eva, etc.) so I just don’t really care about most of the characters and their relationships except for Daisuke and Swansea, and they don’t get enough screen time anyway lol

3. Plot

Most of the base plot is pretty good and interesting. It’s a solid premise. But I feel as though it’s kind of meandering until you get to the big twists. I was just watching like. When are we getting to the meat of the story. I do like the dual / non linear narrative, that’s always fun. Definitely some enjoyment was lost just bc I saw spoilers online, but I think a game is pretty weak if it’s enjoyment is completely lost because of spoilers, like I replay The Dark Descent all the time even though I know the ending because the story is that strong and the gameplay is fun. That’s where the game kind of suffers because the gameplay is so weak. Also I think the ending was kind of dragged out. I was watching the playthrough and I was just sitting there like. When will this be over. I get it Jimmy is terrible. We do not need five more scenes about this. There are some really fun moments though, like when he eats Curly’s leg or when Swansea mercy kills Daisuke (That’s always a trope I love) Though those are the only scenes I can remember where I was genuinely enjoying the game.

Overall I feel that the game was more style over substance, and a lot of it just wasn’t really my cup of tea when it comes to games. Don’t even get me started on how the fandoms seems to ignore Swansea (an old fat guy) and Daisuke (the only person of colour). Like y’all’s ageism, fatphobia, and racism is really showing guys. I see how y’all favour the white, conventionally attractive characters over these two,

I really wanted to enjoy the game. I really did. But alas. It just wasn’t really my vibe when it comes to horror games and I can be picky so it’s not to say that my opinion is the only correct one, it’s just how I feel. It was mainly the gameplay that I had a problem with, I just can’t get into walking simulator games lol

For those awaiting an answer on one of my more recent posts, and whether I'll be leaving, here it is. .....Under the cut, as it, in my usual fashion, gets lengthy, you can skip to the end for a TL:DR :)

I'm not going to leave tumblr/simblr, I'll be floating around and still liking people's posts, I'm probably gonna unfollow some people (not my mutuals ofc ilya) just because it's hard to keep up with my dash when I get over 10 notifications every 2 minutes or so especially when if I'm not going to primarily consume Sims 4 content. I'm going to put my mods folder into my external HDD, in order to preserve them ykwim, and I'm going to uninstall TS4, I'll try to make one more sim before the sims 4 gets poofed off my laptop, although as it stands even after freeing up 20 GBs of space, my space went back down to 400 MBs so 😭😭 I will probably be posting variety content, even though I know all my followers are primarily Sims content consumers (some of ya'll do other stuff, but I mean as a whole, my audience tends to be more Sims 4 related), I might play and share some of my Sims 1 content, which is not story oriented, it's just a little gameplay of Roo in the Sims 1 :) I'll also probably post Baldur gate stuff (if I can free up the storage for it LMAO), I'll post witcher content maybe, and plenty of other things, and like I said, I'll continue to float around, and I'll continue to reblog any Sims content I see and enjoy... as well as other things. .... So what about W.A.S? Yea. I dont know, while W.A.S IS supposed to be a fleshed out story, and while I know I AM leaving sims 4 behind, completely limiting what I can and cannot make story-wise (just cuz I don't know how to make scenes and stuff lmao), I will ATTEMPT to make W.A.S content, I will still make and post the Official teaser, and I'll probably introduce the characters myself sometime after the teaser (I'll take screenshots in CAS and just hope my storage doesn't dip TOO low). I may release some of the story in just text form, as I do really want to continue to post about the story. I'll try to come up with something tho, don't worry :)

I may also start getting back into art, I still need some hobby to preoccupy my time that isn't gaming, I will still do blender stuff (since I have a bunch of my Sims' DAEs) and I will maybe make more edits, but regardless, I still enjoy art and Sims 4 kinda consumed the time that I wanted to spend doing art, soooo yeah.

For the unrooleased tag, I have a bunch of sims that I've never posted, as well as renders that I've never posted, and I may, as Sims 4 filler, post those to fill the void that will become my Sims 4 content

and FINALLY. LAST THING I promise :) I know all of ya'll LOVE Roo, and I do want to reinforce the fact that ROO IS NOT A SIMS CHARACTER, I did NOT make him originally from the Sims, if you were at any point worried I would stop posting about him, I will not be, I will continue to share about Roo, probably with a lot less pictures considering I really only used TS4 as a visual assistant for his story, I do have his DAEs, so I can make SOME Roo blender content, albeit limited with Scenes and stuff. Roo is a character that I will continue to be passionate about, I never mentioned this but I LOVE to make Roo in pretty much every game I play (besides Skyrim................ and ofc games where u dont have customization), like Animal Crossing, I made a variant of Roo there, and in Stardew! You get the point, he will always be a prominent figure of my content. I may also bring back some characters I made from TS4, like Nirvana, I LOVE her character and would LOVE to continue to post about her, as well as Roo's family, I love posting about his family members and sharing their own story and what importance they are to Roo.

WOW, okay that was a lot, if you're skipping here for a clear answer, or a sort of TL:DR, here ya go, I don't want to leave tumblr, so I won't, and I won't necessarily leave the Simblr ring, TS4 is going to be uninstalled, but I WILL preserve my TS4 mods in my external HDD, and be on the look out for the last sim I make in TS4 :)

Satoru loved naomi in that comfort way yes. bc she was really supportive and understanding towards him. like she didn't drop her even during those worsts of him. and the fact that she had to deal w his broken fam/baby momma issues too, yeah he admires her for that. but as for love like the "love-love" he has for y/n? no. he can't love anyone in the same level as yn.

he'd probably date naomi if she came first. that doesn't mean he wouldn't date yn once they get to know each other tho. a lot of things that could lead them to each other can happen. he'd probably wouldn't want a child early on in the rs if he and Naomi were dating. even yui was a surprise (not unwanted tho <3)

yn became the love of his life when he woke up one morning and thought of how nice it was to wake up next to her warmth🥺it was like she couldn't ask for anything anymore. along with that was yui ofc, she was pregnant that time and when she was born was one of his happiest days. even when he was with naomi, satoru has accepted that yn will always be the love of his life. it was just that in his mind he just gotta move on and forget bc back then it felt like nothing good will ever happen in their rs again. until he saw her w toji and then bam, he woke up. he's not having that everyday, he can't do it.

btw the home ending for naomi and satoru would've been fire. like they live the rest of their life regretting the decisions they made. but i think satoru wouldn't be able to handle being away from yn and yui even if that meant being an outsider in their new life alone 🥹
