So I played gore x vigilant and to say I was distraught once act 3 started and terrified all through act 4 would be an understatement

im getting a high off of learning how to mod skyrim properly and use mod organizer through trial and error that i assume a normal fucking person would get from learning a skill that pays the bills rn i am unstoppable with my separators and clean plugins!!!

I think there's always fun discourse to be had whenever it comes to the definition of a genre. And by that I mean I have to fight anyone who disagrees with me

#but not as much as the guy out there who said crpgs didn't have to have rp and shouldn't have quests #but needed to be isometric and should be turn based and 2D or you were on thin ice and seemed willing to kill over it #thinking about that guy #definition also included that it should be so hard that most people who played it died in tutorial and quit #as much as that guy is a bit out there I don't consider any very action focused 3D game without RP even potentially a CRPG #so really who am I to judge. skyrim isn't a CRPG or any kind of RPG even. and yet some people hold... a mysterious other belief.#rambling

now that rdr2 is off my laptop and I have storage, the urge to reinstall sims 4 is consuming me..

chat. chat i have a question. i know ive always had guilt when it comes to getting things for myself, but like. would it be stupid to drop like $116 on the special editions of two games ive been wanting for a while (now because one of which is on sale)? i mean, ive been saving my money literally all summer to use for myself like i haven’t bought anything i didn’t need and i KNOW im not gonna blow through all of it in school because i don’t go anywhere & dont do shit and i know it’s my money and i can do what i want with it but. idk. it feels stupid. is it stupid or is my brain stupid??

I get pretty intimidated by lots of the big AAA games because I didn’t grow up playing many of them, also there’s so much to do in them it’s overwhelming. I just started playing Skyrim for the first time knowing nothing. (it’s snowy here now and I wanted to play something that has some winter vibes and hey Skyrim is close enough)

I am also intimidated by tabletop rpgs but playing Skyrim has me realize maybe I’m more built for it than I thought cause the amount of times I come across like a bandit or witches or something and I’m like “can I just talk to them though?”
