Tumblr media
FUSHIGURO MEGUMI
Literally perfect
Your parents love him
Your dogs love him
You love him
Was kind of quiet at first but settled in eventually and opened up a bit
Was still kind of reserved but that’s to be expected from him
Your mother found it sweet that he tried to hide behind you when your uncles started interrogating getting to know him
He let your younger cousins play with his shikigami so that your dogs could get a break from being bothered
Really liked the salad your mother made and asked for the recipe
1000/10
FUSHIGURO TOJI
Actually not too bad
Was polite enough and liked the food
Showed your parents pictures of Megumi as a baby
They were suitably impressed
Your cousin asked him where he goes to the gym
He told him he doesn’t believe in gyms (thinks they’re oppressive institutions designed to disadvantage the poor?)
Did give him a discount code for some random protein powder that he’s sponsored by though
Asked your parents to donate to his charity
They were happy to do so and thought it was amazing that he has a charity
You decided not to tell them that his “charity” is literally just his bank account
4/10 for scamming your family
GOJO SATORU
Solid 7/10
Goofs around a lot but he did come so he gets points for that
Your parents hated him at first but then he showed them the album of cute Megumi pictures he has saved on his phone and they switched up
“He’s so responsible for raising a kid so young! And it’s not even his!”
Bullshit
He does NOT raise Megumi and you were the one who sent him half of those pictures
Demoted to a 6/10 just for that but at least your parents like him
Also the fact that he had an album was cute
Somehow managed to keep the dirty jokes to a minimum
Your brother kept making fun of his eyes being so blue so halfway through he had to switch the glasses out for the blindfold
Surprisingly high spice tolerance
GETO SUGURU
Honestly really a fun guy!
Actually brought his own dish to the dinner??
AND IT WAS GOOD????
Your mother wants you two to get married now
Asked if he could take some leftovers back for Mimiko and Nanako
Which was very considerate of him actually
Your mother told him he didn’t have to return the dishes she packed the food in
Let your brother win at Scrabble
Listened to your mother talk about the auntie drama
Apparently he’s going to start putting coconut oil in his hair now
Your parents are going to adopt him and kick you out
9/10 would’ve been higher but he didn’t beat your brother’s ass at Scrabble (he wanted to “make a good impression”)
IJICHI KYOTAKA
Similar to Nanami in that he and your father got along really well
Your brother called him “goofy”
He had to go to the bathroom and cry after that
He did compose himself and came back to eat
Can handle spicy food quite well
Complimented your mother’s cooking
Brought flowers as a thank you for the dinner
Was super sweet and grateful to be invited at all
11/10 would definitely invite him again
INUMAKI TOGE
Everyone was really excited to meet him
Let your cousins play with his hair and do his make up and paint his nails
Was your partner for Charades and you two won by a LOT
Kept sneaking treats to your dogs
Your mother ordered seafood for him because he could only speak in rice ball ingredients and she thought he really wanted salmon
He did eat it though
He would be a 10/10 but he accidentally used his Cursed Speech on your aunt so 8/10
ITADORI YUJI
Somehow lit the grill on fire
Managed to put it out but he did lose his eyebrows in the process unfortunately
Looked stupid without eyebrows
Spent most of his time hanging out with the little kids
Your family actually really liked him though
He’s too sweet to dislike
Helped wash the dishes and did not break any
7/10 because you almost had to call the fire department
KAMO CHOSO
Showed up an hour late
Was friendly but kinda nervous and awkward at first
Loved the food
He and your brother are best friends now
Genuinely he gets along better with your brother than with you
Impressed your father with his history knowledge
3/10 was too perfect and now your parents keep asking why you’re not more like him
KAMO NORITOSHI
He hates kids
Spent the entire first half running away from your cousins
Once he finally escaped he got along great with the adults
They really liked how responsible and mature he is
Thought it was impressive that he’s going to be the clan head
Your aunt told you that he was a keeper and you should “marry for money, hope for love”
Started crying when your mother asked him if she could hang up his jacket for him
It reminded him of his own mother who he was forced to leave as a kid
All of your aunts have unofficially adopted him now due to his tragic backstory
Deserves 10/10 just for being relatively normal
MAHITO
-892378/10 your parents couldn’t see him because he’s a curse
He was very happy to hear that and nearly destroyed your house
You had to call Geto halfway through to chase him off
Your family was thrilled to see Geto again though so at least there’s that??
MUTA KOKICHI
Sent a robot in his place obviously
Everyone wanted to know why you brought a robot to dinner
They thought you had hit a new low
You had to explain that Mechamaru was basically his body because of how weak his actual body was
Nobody believed you
-3/10 he was nice but it was overall a humiliating experience
NANAMI KENTO
Cannot eat anything spicy
Started tearing up at the appetizers alone
Had a massive stomach ache afterwards and his face was red for like twenty minutes
Your father liked talking to him about business and the economy and shit
Did not get scared when asked about his plans for the future
Actually has plans for the future
Your brother is kind of gay for him tbh (??) and threatened to marry him if you don’t
10/10 because he still finished everything on his plate so he didn’t seem rude even though he was lowkey dying
OKKOTSU YUTA
Tried his best
Your dogs tried to leave with him because they liked him so much
He brought gifts from Africa for your entire family
Did stop a toddler from getting kidnapped
Is physically really good at grilling but emotionally cannot handle the stress
Had a mental breakdown when you asked for a vegetable burger
Made the discovery that he really likes corn and proceeded to eat all of the corn you had bought for the night so nobody else got any
Summoned Rika and allowed your cousins to use her as their dress up doll
Rika was very nice and enjoyed the experience
She wants to be a fashion model now
2/10 he burnt your vegetable burger and you were really looking forward to having some corn
PANDA
Is a panda
Your younger cousins thought he was adorable
You got asked multiple times if he was a furry
5/10 he was only invited because he had nothing else to do and you had to chase him with a hose beforehand because he refused to bathe
RYOMEN SUKUNA
-1244129/10
An asshole but what’s new
Told your family to “go back to where you came from”
Degraded your parents
Degraded you
Degraded everyone really
You got into a fight with him and Gojo had to intervene
Did ask for one of your mother’s recipes so he could get Uraume to cook it for him
She did not give it to him
TODO AOI
See you thought this would be hell on earth
But it wasn’t???
Played with your dogs
Carried your cousins around on his shoulders
Your uncles were impressed by his muscles
He saved a kitten that was stuck in a tree
Did not ask a single person about their type in women
Annihilated everyone in Wii Sports Resort
Absolutely sucked at Just Dance though
He thought he was too manly for the wrist strap but then he threw the remote into the TV while playing Wii bowling and it broke
6/10 he said he’d pay for a new one
YAGA MASAMICHI
Literally your boss
Only invited him because you wanted a raise
He liked the food
Exchanged sewing tips with your mother
200/10 you got the raise
YOSHINO JUNPEI
Really cool!
Gave everyone good movie recommendations
Someone gave him a baby to hold and he nearly dropped it
Burnt his hand on the grill
Found your uncles’ shitty jokes funny so they all liked him
He was decent at debating with everyone and having intellectual conversations even though he cried whenever someone disagreed with him too harshly
Your parents were very dismayed to see the cigarette burn scars on his face
Your mother told him he could always come to your house if he needed to
4/10 because he almost gave a baby brain damage
ZENIN NAOYA
Told your parents about your sex life
Called your mother “woman”
Your cousins have a crush on him solely based on his looks
He thinks he has a harem now
0/10 they are all like 13 years old

Valentine's Day: SEES Edition
A/N: Happy Valentine's Day! I didn't have time to make any for the girls but I might post some later! This was also my first-time writing Shinji so hopefully he's not too out of character. Enjoy!
Word Count: 2886
Minato Arisato
You sigh slightly, turning a box of chocolates over in your hands. You were definitely making this out to be more of a big deal than it was. The school day had ended and you were still sitting there in the classroom. Yukari and Junpei had already left to go back to the dorms and Minato had wandered off somewhere as per usual.
You were planning to give this box of chocolates to Minato, just to show your appreciation for everything he’s done for SEES. But your nerves got the best of you. This morning, you had walked to school with him and when you tried to give him the box, you immediately went silent when he looked at you. And at lunchtime when you saw him in the hallway, you had turned on your heel when your eyes met.
You lay your head on your desk sighing once again. “Darn it…”
“Who’s that for?”
Your head shoots up from your desk as you look to see Minato standing next to you. You didn’t even hear him come in.
“Minato! You’re still here. O-oh, um…” You stammer. You look away, tilting the box towards him. “...They’re for you, actually. Just as a thank you for everything you’ve done with SEES and all.”
“Oh. Thanks.” He takes the box and you let out a sigh of relief.
“ …you were really nervous, huh?”
You look at Minato, seeing a slight smirk on his face. “You noticed…?”
“Kinda hard not to. You avoided me all day.”
“Not my fault…”
He chuckles, “Thanks anyways. I appreciate it. Next year though, it’d be nice to see your face when you hand these to me.”
Your eyes widen and your face flushes as Minato grins. “Wanna head back to the dorms? We can share these.”
You laugh slightly as you stand up. “You’re really something sometimes… yeah, let’s head back.”
You follow Minato out of the classroom, the two of you chatting quietly. Maybe things didn’t go as planned, but in one way they worked out. Next year, you definitely would face him with a smile.
Junpei Iori
“Dude, did Y/N give you chocolates?” Junpei asks as he sits on the couch next to Minato. Akihiko was also present, sitting on the couch across from them.
“Yeah.” Minato replies, “Why?”
“I also got some too.” Akihiko adds, looking up from his boxing gloves. “What? They didn’t give you any?”
Junpei groans. “No… I mean Yuka-tan, Fuuka and Mitsuru-senpai gave me some, but that’s more of a teammate thing right? I dunno, I feel like Y/N and I are… more than that, or something.”
Neither Akihiko or Minato respond and Junpei groans again. “Oh c’mon, you guys have nothing to say?”
Minato shrugs. “Did you ask them out?”
“...no. I mean not yet at least.”
“There’s your answer then.”
“Dude, you're no help at all.” Junpei sighs, leaning his head back on the couch. “Did I do something wrong?”
“Maybe you just need to be patient. I don’t even think Y/N came back to the dorms yet.” Akihiko says.
“But the day’s almost over! …Okay, I’m going to look for them!”
Junpei gets up and heads out the door without another word. Meanwhile Mitsuru and Yukari enter the lounge from upstairs.
“He has a bit too much energy don’t you think? Should he really be worried about whether Y/N is giving him chocolates or not?” Yukari says with a sigh.
“Hey, let him be. He’s gotta put that energy to use somehow.” Akihiko replies.
Mitsuru sighs. “If only he’d have that amount of energy when it comes to his studies.”
---------------------------------
“Huh? My package hasn’t arrived yet? But I got an email saying it arrived today…” You say to the mail carrier.
“I’m sorry. It was expected to arrive today, but due to unforeseen conditions, it’s been delayed.”
You sigh. “I see… Well, thank you then. Could you give me an estimated arrival date?”
“It should arrive in about 2 days.”
“Great… thank you again.”
You exit the post office sighing once again as you start walking back towards the monorail. Well, there went your plans for the rest of the day. You wanted to surprise a certain someone with a co-op game the two of you mentioned playing together a while ago. You should’ve known there was no way that the game would actually arrive on the day of. Sure, it could have been better planning on your part, but the whole thing had slipped your mind up until last week.
Suddenly you hear a familiar voice call your name.
“Y/N! Finally, I found you!”
You look up and see Junpei running towards you.
“Junpei? What are you doing here?”
“I’ve been looking for you. Damn, I had no idea where to look so I’ve been running around all over the place.”
“Oh, I was on my way back to the dorms anyways. Were you worried about me or something?”
He chuckles a bit nervously. “Uh, yeah something like that.” Then he looks behind you. “The post office, huh? Picking up something?”
“Ah, yeah I was, but it turns out it’s not here yet.” You smile slightly. “I meant to order it way earlier, but I forgot. Kind of silly of me to think that it would actually arrive today.”
“Was it something for Valentine’s Day?”
“Yeah actually… wait, why are you asking so many questions?”
“N-no reason… Why are you getting so defensive?”
You cross your arms, looking at Junpei with a smirk. “Ohh, I see. You were looking for me because you were expecting a Valentine’s Day gift, right?”
Junpei scoffs. “No, why would I be expecting something? Valentine’s isn’t even that big of a deal.”
“Uh-huh… so I guess you don’t want your gift when it arrives then.”
His face lights up. “Wait, you got me something? For real?”
“And here I thought you were worried about little ol’ me.”
“Hey, who says I wasn’t?”
You laugh. “I’m just teasing. I appreciate you coming to look for me, even if it was only to get your gift.”
“And if my gift is right in front of me?”
A beat of silence passes and Junpei laughs nervously. “That was lame, forget I said anything.”
“It was a little lame… but I don’t mind it.” You say, whispering the last part. “Anyways, let’s head back to the dorms.”
“Did you say something? Something along the lines of ‘ I don’t mind it’?”
You don’t say anything as you start to walk past him.
“Hey c’mon! I’m just playin’!”
Akihiko Sanada
“Hey guys,” You say walking downstairs into the lounge. “What are you up to?”
“Oh, hey Senpai.” Junpei says with a grin. He and Minato were sitting at the table with a large pile of small boxes in front of them. They were all wrapped nicely with ribbons. “We’re just going through Akihiko-senpai’s Valentine’s Day gifts.”
“Uh, isn’t that an invasion of privacy?”
“Not necessarily. He gave us permission to look through them. You should’ve seen him when he came back to the dorms. He had no clue what to do with all of it. He said we could take some if we wanted. Man, getting all of this from girls and he just gives it away?”
“Well, it’s not like he’d eat it all anyway.” You say, then you look over at Minato. “I didn’t think you’d be taking some.”
Minato shrugs. “Free SP items, I’m not complaining.”
“Right…so where’d Akihiko head off to?”
“I think he said something about going for a run towards the shrine. He left not long ago so you could probably catch up to him.” Junpei replies.
“Thanks, see you guys later.”
You set off towards the shrine hoping to find Akihiko. When you arrived, the sun was setting, the pink and orange hue gently enveloping the area. You spot Akihiko sitting on top of the jungle gym, looking at the sky.
“Hey there Mr. Popular.” You say walking up. “You look worn out.”
“Y/N? What are you doing here?” Akihiko asks, a surprised look on his face.
“I heard from Minato and Junpei that you might be here. Mind if I join you?”
“Yeah, come on up.”
You climb up the jungle gym and Akihiko gives you a hand to lift you up. You sit next to him, looking up at the sky. “So, you had quite a day, huh? I saw Junpei and Minato with your gifts in  the lounge.”
Akihiko lets out a sigh. “Yeah. You wouldn't believe the amount of people in my classroom during lunch. Even the teacher had trouble getting them out of there.”
“Heh, I bet. I could hear those girls from down the hallway. ‘Sanada-senpai, these are for you!’ ‘Happy Valentine’s Day Sanada-san, please accept these!’ And so on and so forth.”
He hums in reply, chuckling slightly at your impression. Silence settles between the two of you as you continue to watch the sunset on the horizon. Then Akihiko speaks up.
“So, what brought you all the way over here? You weren't looking for me were you?”
“I was actually.” You say, handing two small boxes over. “You're probably tired of hearing this, but Happy Valentine's Day, Aki.”
Akihiko freezes when he hears the nickname and his face flushes, his ears are tinted red. You laugh a bit when you see his expression. “Sorry, it slipped out. I must've picked it up from Shinjiro. I’ll be more careful.”
“N-no! I mean…” Akihiko clears his throat, taking the boxes. “It's fine. You can call me Aki… if you want.”
You smile. “Maybe I will. It's pretty funny to see you like this.”
“Hey, don't tease me.” He sighs. Then he starts to open one of the boxes. “Hm, dark chocolate?”
“Yeah, you don't like sweets that much right? I figured you might like it better than milk chocolate.”
Akihiko nods as he takes a piece out, popping it into his mouth. “It’s good. Not too sweet, and it has some bitterness to it. This is something I wouldn’t mind having every once in a while.”
“Good, cause I know how to make them.”
“You made these?”
“I asked Shinjiro for help… which is probably where I picked up calling you Aki.” You chuckle nervously. “If you want I can give you the recipe.”
“Hm, how about we make it together then? It’d probably be good for me to learn how to make something more complex anyways.”
“Sure. We can get Shinjiro to join in as well.”
“Heh, he’d probably just yell at me whenever I do something wrong.”
The two of you laugh as Akihiko goes to open the other box. He unwraps it, revealing a small keychain, a pair of boxing gloves to be exact. He looks at you, holding it up. “You got these for me?”
You nod. “I saw it at Paulownia Mall one day and you came to mind. Sorry, it’s a bit cheesy, isn’t it?”
Akihiko shakes his head, a small smile appears on his face. “No, I don’t think so at least. Hearing you say that you thought of me… it’s a nice feeling. I’ll have to put this on my bag so that way I can think of you when I see it.”
This time you freeze at Akihiko’s words, you can feel your face flush as you try to come up with a response. You weren’t even sure if he realized the effect of his words.
“Hm? What’s wrong? Your face got all red…  well it is getting a bit chilly, huh? Do you want to head back to the dorms?”
“Ah… yeah, let’s head back.” You say with a smile. You climb down the jungle gym and Akihiko follows you down.
“Hey actually,  how about we get some beef bowls? It’ll be the perfect thing to warm you up.”
“Okay,” You say, winking playfully before you take off running. “Last one there is paying!”
“H-hey! You got a head start, that’s cheating!”
Shinjiro Aragaki
“Okay, and now we wait…” You mumble quietly, putting a tray of chocolates into the fridge.
You’re currently in the kitchen, attempting to make a batch of chocolate for Valentine’s Day. Well, before the end of the day that is. Yes, you were a bit late, but for good reasons. Shinjiro was always away from the dorms so you couldn’t really ask for his preferences in sweets. At this point, it wasn’t any secret who you were making these for since you had to ask the other SEES members for information. Interestingly enough, there was no one in the dorms so you figured they all had plans for today.
You let out a sigh as you lean against the counter. To be honest, you weren’t exactly sure what led you to make chocolates for him. Maybe curiosity? Despite having been a part of the team  for a while, you barely knew anything about him. You weren’t the most stealthy person; so when you tried to follow Shinjiro once, he immediately caught you and told you to go back to the dorms. You did try to follow him again a few times after that, but of course failed. He didn’t seem much for conversation either so you never really talked to him, but you suppose you should have tried harder if you were really curious about him.
Just then the dorm doors open and you step out of the kitchen to see who it is.
“Oh, you’re back early today.” You say, seeing Shinjiro walk inside.
He looks up at you then averts his gaze. “Yeah.” He glances around. “...it’s quiet today. Guess you’re the only one here?”
“Mhm, looks like everyone has plans.”
Shinjiro stays quiet for a moment then looks at you again. “Are you making chocolate? I smelled it when I came in.”
You nod. “I’m just waiting for it to harden. Want to wait with me? I could use the company, and you could be my taste tester.”
He lets out a sigh, stuffing his hands in his jacket pockets. “I might as well. Not like I got anything better to do.”
“Perfect!”
You turn on your heel, walking back into the kitchen as Shinjiro joins you. Once he steps into the kitchen, his attention is drawn to the bowls on the counter. “You added filling?”
“Yeah, it’s dark chocolate so I figured it would be a nice contrast. You aren’t allergic to raspberries are you?”
“No.”
After that curt response, silence fills the space. Well, this was more awkward than you wanted it to be. Your gaze falls onto the bowls and you walk over, picking one up and bringing it to the sink.
“Uh, do you want to dry these after I wash them?”
Shinjiro only nods as he picks up a drying cloth and you start washing the bowls. It's only when you hand him a bowl to dry that he says something.
“...So, I heard you've been asking about me.”
You freeze slightly, then you chuckle. “Yeah, I have. Let me guess… Junpei?”
“Yeah.” Shinjiro sighs. “Y’know, if you wanted to know about me… you could’ve just asked.”
“I know. I just didn’t want to bother you.”
“You could just say you were intimidated.”
“No-no! I wasn’t. I’m not…well, maybe a little, but I was only asking the other members for good reasons.” You say handing him the last bowl. You turn off the faucet and dry your hands. “Those chocolates in the fridge are for you.”
Shinjiro looks at you in surprise. “Me?
“Yeah, I guess you can consider them as… friendship chocolates? I was wondering what you liked in terms of sweets so I was asking around. I guess I went with raspberry filling since it's close to the color of your jacket.”
He looks at his jacket. “...I guess.” He sets the bowl down along with the towel and leans against the counter. “Well, next time, you can just ask me. We’re teammates right? You don’t have to be scared to ask me stuff. It’s not like I’ll bite or anything.”
You laugh a bit. “Right, I’ll keep that in mind.” Your gaze turns towards the clock and you walk towards the fridge. “I think they might be done now.”
You take the tray out and set it on the table, touching one of the chocolates to see if it’s solid. You nod happily and pick one up to give to Shinjiro. “Here!”
Instead of taking it with his hand, he leans his head down to pick it up with his mouth. You freeze once again when his gaze meets yours, then he raises his head, chewing the chocolate.
“Hm, not bad. This is your first time making it right?”
“O-oh, um yes.” You say, glancing away from him.
“Next time, you should try to add more cocoa powder for the bitterness. You were going for dark chocolate, yeah?”
“Yeah, I wasn’t sure how much to add.”
You feel his hand fall on top of your head as he ruffles your hair. “We can make them together next time then. Don’t look so down.”
You smile, “I look forward to it then.”

Ryomina gardening together on the dorm rooftop? Maybe Ryoji trying to flirt with flower language
Ryoji/Minato
1,5k
Come spring
The rooftop door creaked, and Minato looked up from the bag of soil he was holding.
"Minato!" Ryoji greeted him with a brilliant smile.
He looked as handsome as ever, but the moment he stepped on the rooftop, the wind started whipping his scarf and hair.
Minato allowed himself a slight chuckle.
"What are you doing here?" he asked, still crouching.
"I came by to hang out with Junpei." Ryoji joined him at his side and peered at the bag curiously. "But he said he was busy. I didn't want to leave since I came all this way, so Fuuka helpfully told me you were up here," he finished with that same dazzling smile, but when those eyes were directed only on him...
Minato tried to focus on the conversation again. "Too bad Junpei's not free. The dorm isn't exactly on your way."
Ryoji nodded. "Which is why I decided to find someone else's time to monopolize, namely, yours."
Minato looked up at him, but the sun made him squint, ruining the desired effect. "Did the rest all draw long straws so it fell on me?"
"Har har. I won't bother you if you're really busy, but..."
Minato sighed with dramatic indifference. "I was in the middle of preparing these pots for the new plants, but you can keep me company if you want."
"Really?" Ryoji put a hand on his shoulder as he leaned over him to look at the seed bags on the floor.
"How about I help you? It'll go faster with two people. And before you complain, I promise I won't ruin anything."
Minato gently shook off his hand so he could finally stand up and face him. "I wouldn't say something like that." He was almost insulted and a bit sad that Ryoji thought of him as cold. Maybe he still had himself to blame; he knew he didn't really come off as outgoing to most people.
"You should put your scarf away, it might get in the way."
Ryoji moved to do as directed and then returned to his side once again, rolling his sleeves up.
Minato allowed himself to notice it innocently for half a second.
Dammit.
"Can you get the rest of the pots from there and that fertilizer bag if it's not too heavy? I wanted to plant most of what I had in mind today. I really appreciate your help." He tried to keep his voice even as he looked at Ryoji.
He hated how his nerves betrayed him in such a silly situation, but was determined not to let it show. Nothing good would come from flirting with this infuriatingly attractive ladies' man. He thought he glimpsed beneath the surface of it, but if that was what Ryoji really wanted...
"Um, Earth to Minato?" Ryoji waved a hand in front of his face. He looked concerned. Dammit, dammit, dammit.
"Sorry, I space out for a second. Thank you." He nodded in the direction of the materials Ryoji brought.
Ryoji raised an eyebrow but thankfully didn't pry further.
Once Minato directed him on what to do with each pot, they worked in silence. Minato felt himself growing too nervous to start a casual conversation topic, and he hoped Ryoji was too engrossed in the work to pay it much mind.
"So what are we planting?" Ryoji broke the silence.
That he could handle, Minato thought.
"Flowers, mostly. I'm not really confident to keep up with fruits and vegetables with finals so near. And I've got more experience with these."
"Really?" Ryoji perked up. "Which ones?"
"I've got here irises, columbines and some thyme. I'd like to experiment with more different kinds, but those'll wait until spring."
"Interesting combination. Are they for anyone in particular?"
Minato gave a confused shrug. "Not really? Just for us here at the dorm to enjoy."
Ryoji laughed. Minato didn't know what he found funny in that, but his traitorous heart helpfully supplied he'd like to hear Ryoji laugh more.
"I think it's perfect. The symbolism fits."
... Busted.
"You... um, you know much about that?"
"About flowers? Of course, they make the perfect gifts."
He hummed in response.
"I find it fascinating how such small beings can hold so much life, beauty and meaning in them. They can be different for each person, but we can all appreciate them in the end." Ryoji paused, his hands still stuck in the dirt, like he was considering something.
"Yeah. You put it really nicely. It's kind of a comforting presence to have some around."
"I know what you mean. I don't think I've ever bothered having my own since we moved so much, but whenever I'd go out in nature, it was like witnessing another world."
Minato silently nodded, working on autopilot while he processed his words.
"I'm really glad I found you up here," Ryoji suddenly started, turning to look at Minato.
Minato found himself looking back without realizing what devastating effect Ryoji's smile had on him. But it wasn't his usual, brighter-than-light smile. This one was smaller, subdued, but Minato had a feeling it was just as genuine. He hoped it was as a small blush spread across his cheeks.
"If you'd like, I could help you with these again. I'm somewhat attached to them now after planting so many. I want to see them grow."
Damn his foolish heart. It would have its way in the end, so Minato blurted out: "We can grow some other ones too. Do you have any in mind you'd like to see?"
That seemed to take Ryoji by surprise. His eyes widened, and he scratched his cheek, forgetting the dirt that was on his hands and therefore leaving a smear of mud in the middle of it.
"Um... What about tulips? They're gorgeous to see, especially red and yellow ones. Just in time for spring. And maybe... gardenias. They're less subtle than tulips, but together they'll go really nicely. If we plant them just right, it'll be a beautiful arrangement." He smiled again, but there was color in his cheeks like the red tulips he spoke of. His eyes didn't seem to hold his usual loud confidence, but they shone with joy nonetheless.
It was impossible not to return that smile.
"That's a great idea. We can go shopping for them together. I know the lady at Rafflesia might have some helpful tips too, so we can ask her. By the time we see how these ones grow along, maybe I'll have an idea of how good the fertilizer is, so I'll know whether we need to replace it..."
Minato was caught up in the idea of growing flowers with Ryoji. When he realized he was rambling, he trailed off uncomfortably.
Ryoji wasn't looking at him anymore, his gaze was fixated on something on the ground.
Minato furrowed his brows. "Sorry, I can go on for a while when it's about plants. Don't worry though, it won't be too difficult."
Ryoji finally met his eyes. "Rafflesia, huh? I actually heard there that..." He regaled him with useful tips about growing flowers he picked up here and there.
Minato tried to listen, but he couldn't escape a hunch that something was wrong. That Ryoji wasn't feeling well. The way he unconsciously fixed his collar reminded him of the way he'd hide his face in his scarf. A habit he like to observe out of the corner of his eye entirely too much when he had the chance.
They sat with their back to the railing, and Minato found himself enjoying the conversation, and even more if he was being honest, Ryoji's presence and the sound of his voice.
He thought back to the moment Ryoji was full of smiles before he fell silent. He wanted them to grow tulips and gardenias....
Minato widened his eyes. His heart was trying to kill him, as far as he was concerned. The tiny spark of hope he trained so hard to grow in other aspects of his life began to ignite. And it wouldn't let him go.
As soon as there was a lull in the conversation, he casually asked: "Hey, do you mind if we add another flower to the list of ones we're gonna grow?"
Ryoji shook his head. "Not at all. What did you come up with?"
Minato turned his head to look at Ryoji. They were sitting really close, almost shoulder to shoulder. Ryoji looked just as beautiful in profile.
"Daffodils."
His face was on fire as he laid all his pathetic hopes out for the world to see.
Now it was Ryoji's turn to look at him and widen his eyes.
Just a tilt of his head and he would be...
"Did you know that daffodils have quite a romantic meaning?" His voice was quiet. Minato could only stare.
He swallowed. "Yeah?"
"What are you gonna do with them?"
"I was thinking... maybe I could have some in my room once they've bloomed. You could take some too. If you wanted."
"I'd love that." This smile was as briliant as it was genuine.
"Mhm." Minato finally tored his gaze from Ryoji and turned away.
"I can't wait," he simply said.
"Me neither." Ryoji chuckled.
As their shoulders brushed again each other's, Minato allowed himself to embrace the hope he'd been denying himself. It made him excited for all the days that were to come if Ryoji would be close to him.

I love your page! It’s amazing! Could you write something with Cobras older sister dating Ice? He doesn’t know and when he sees them together they get into a fight about why she’s with Ice and they get jump and the sister shows why she’s a badass and doesn’t need her brother looking out for her (even though she’s happy he does)
Oh Boy
Prompt: When your brother’s enemy is your secret boyfriend, it only makes sense that when your brother finds out, he's furious. However, you make sure to show him that you don't need protecting.
Warnings: fluff, make out, fighting
Request: Yes
Pairing: Ice x Female Reader ; Cobra x Older Sister Reader
Word count: 2k
Notes: Omg thank you for the compliment! Also, three things: 1) I always try to include GIFs with these, but I didn't find any good ones for Ice. 2) I don't think I can write fight scenes, but I tried my best. 3) I debated on whether or not to write this because I am not the biggest fan of the Mighty Warriors. Like I didn't like them throughout the movies AT ALL 😆. I would literally diss them so bad while they came on my screen (sorry not sorry). However, I did enjoy this prompt, and I'm a sucker for forbidden romances.
⋈ *. : 。✿ * ゚ * .: 。 ✿ * ゚ * . : 。 ✿ * ⋈
As you finish getting ready for your date, you knock on your younger brother’s door, “Hey Junpei, I’ll be out for the day. I won’t be out too late and you shouldn’t be either. I was able to cook breakfast, so it's on the table for you. See you later."
As you put on your shoes and start to head out, you see your brother come out of his room and look like he literally just woke up. He yawns and asks, "Where are you going so early?"
"There's just a couple of things that I have to get done and some errands that I have to run. I should be back before dinner. If not, head to Itokan and have dinner there.” You don’t look him in the eyes as you respond to him. You hate having to lie to him, but there is no way that he could know where you were really going.
Since he’s still half-asleep, he does not question it as he sits down at the table and gives thanks for the food. Before leaving, you go to him quickly, rub his hair and he glares back at you before you say goodbye.
About an hour later, you find yourself in front of the park where you are meeting your boyfriend. Once you see him, a smile forms on your face, “Ice!”
He turns toward you, and walks to you with a smile on his face, “Hey, glad you could make it.”
You put your arm through his and hold his hand, “I was able to leave before Cobra was fully awake, so he didn’t ask too many questions.”
Even though you really hate keeping it a secret from Cobra, you can only imagine what would happen and how he would feel towards you dating the leader of the Mighty Warriors. Especially when they have fought each other before.
There were a couple of times before when you had seen Ice and were not his biggest fan. After he met you, he would ask you out on a date and he would say that the two of you would be good for each other. You would turn him down constantly, and one day you told him you were sick of it. After that day, he backed off. There was a two-week period where you had no contact with him, and you started to realize that you missed him. So, you went to his club and sought him out. Very bashfully, you asked him if he was still interested, you would go on a date with him, and he was.
Flashforward to now, you and Ice have been dating for a few months and have done a pretty good job of keeping it a secret so far.
“What do you have planned?” you ask cheerfully.
“You’ll see,” he responds.
~*~*~*~*~*~
You two have a great time on your date. Ice takes you to the batting cages, which he knows you love, and then takes you on a picnic near the lakeside for lunch. He then takes you kayaking out of Chikuni City, which was one of the best experiences of your life, and then takes you to a restaurant for dinner.
When you arrive at the restaurant, you are a little self-conscious at first because it seems that the restaurant is very fancy. Before you go in, you pull Ice by the hand and say, “Ice, I don’t think I’m dressed well enough to go in there.”
He lets out a chuckle and leans in to kiss your forehead, “You’re fine babe. No one’s going to notice.” He pulls you inside and they sit you two down at a table. Turns out Ice had already made a reservation beforehand.
When you sit down, you send a quick text to Cobra that you won’t be making it for dinner and that you’ll try not to be home late. As you both start looking at the menu, you feel blood drain from your face as you start looking at the prices. You have enough money to sustain yourself and to pay, but you would never willingly pay this much at a restaurant. Your thoughts must have been readable on your face because Ice starts to laugh to himself.
“Oi, why are you laughing?” You stare at him in all seriousness.
He smiles at you and takes hold of your hand, “I love how you wear your expressions on your face. I can always tell what you’re thinking.” You blush a little before he pulls his hand away and looks back at the menu, then says, “Don’t worry about anything, this is my treat.”
“But-”
“Butts are for sitting.” You roll your eyes at him and continue looking over the menu.
Dinner goes by quicker than you want it to, and with a blink of an eye it’s time for you to head off back home. Even though it’s kind of risky, Ice offers to ride home with you and you agree. The sun is starting to go down, and there aren’t really a lot of people out on the streets. As you both exit out of the taxi, he closes the door behind you and then grabs a hold of your hand and starts walking you home.
When you start getting near your home, you pull him into an alley nearby. You notice the confused look on his face and before he can get any words out, you put your arms around his neck and plant a kiss on his lips.
You pull back and smile up at him, “Thank you. I had a great time today.”
Ice’s eyes darken for a little bit before he puts his arms around your waist and places a kiss right back on your lips. The kiss starts slow, but it quickly gets heated. Your arms tighten around his neck and his on your waist. You try to pull back but in between kisses you manage to say, “We should… stop… before… someone… catches us.”
Ice lets out a deep laugh and against your lips he says, “Okay. I’ll stop when you do.”
You pull his lips back to yours and jump to wrap your legs around him. As you do that, he pushes you both backwards until a wall hits your back. Your lips went completely in sync with his. You felt Ice tighten his grip on your thighs and pushed you into the wall a little harder. Ice lets out a small moan. He bites one of your lips and you let out a small moan. As you open your mouth, Ice takes the opportunity of slipping his tongue into your mouth.
You two are at it for a couple more seconds, but before it gets any further, you pull back and, out of breath, say, “I should go. My brother is probably waiting for me.”
Ice gives a small pout before slowly releasing you and letting you put your legs on the floor. You both make your way back to the main road and you say, "Go home. I'll be fine getting home from here. I don't want to meet anyone unexpectedly."
Ice smiles and nods. He pecks your lips. says goodbye, and you both walk off. As you make your way back home, you hear a familiar voice say, "Y/N?"
You turn and see your brother staring at you. You give him a smile and go to greet him, but something in his expression makes you stop. He is looking at you in disbelief and your mind immediately goes to the worst-case scenario. "I can-"
"Ice! Y/N, out of all the guys in the world? Please tell me you're joking?" He says, still looking at you in disbelief.
You close your fists and feel yourself tense. Looking at Cobra in the eyes, you say, "No, this is not a joke. When two people like each other, they decide to date. Ice and I happen to like-"
"Don't give me that crap! He's dangerous Y/N! You shouldn't be seeing that guy at all!" He starts raising his voice and you feel your body start to get a bit warmer in anger.
"Junpei! I know that you're trying to protect me, but I am old enough to make my own choices. That means that I'm old enough to date whoever I please. For Pete's sake, I'm your older sister, I'm supposed to be protecting you," you try to say as calmly as possible.
Before Cobra says anything to you, you notice that there are several guys that start to circle their way around you and Cobra. He notices it as well.
One of them stands forward and says, "Look at this. Cobra, the one and only leader of the Hoodlum Squad." The man looks at you up and down before continuing, "And you must be the sister. My, aren't you a sight for sore eyes?"
Already agitated from the conversation with your brother, this random thug is not helping the situation whatsoever, so you do the most reasonable thing you can do, and you deck the man in the face.
"Oi, can't you see I'm having a conversation with my brother? How dare you intervene?" you say gritting your teeth, while looking at the man that you just punched who is lying on the floor.
Somewhere next to you, you hear your brother whispering, “Oh boy, here we go.”
The rest of the men start to attack both you and Cobra. Your argument with him already has your blood pumping. You haven’t been in a fight for a while, so this is very exciting for you.
Another man runs up to you and you notice that he is going to hit you. You quickly duck and punch him with all your force in his abdomen. He falls down to the ground holding his stomach area. He tries to get back up but you grab him by the shoulders and slam your knee towards his chest. He falls back to the group and is trying to catch his breath. You know that he won’t get up for a bit.
Another one came behind you and grabbed you by the waist. You quickly jump and throw all your weight backwards, which lands both of you on the floor. When his grip on your waist loosens a little, you elbow him in the stomach and get out of his grip. For good measure, you give him another blow to the stomach, which leaves him lying there on the floor.
You look to your left and see that Cobra has already beaten the other half of the group of men. All of the men then start to slowly get up and run away. Cowards.
Knowing you still have one good punch left in you, you walk up to your brother and deck him in the face.
When he turns towards you, he looks at you in shock.
You look at him sheepishly and say, “Sorry, I had to get that last one out. Also, that is why you shouldn’t anger me.”
Cobra looks down towards the ground and you can tell what he’s thinking. You take a deep breath, grab his cheeks and make him face you and look at you before whispering, “I know you care. I know you want to protect me. I’m happy and grateful that you do. But, Junpei, you gotta trust me. This thing I have with Ice, I like it, it’s good for me. We’re good for each other.”
You can see and feel Cobra’s jaw tensing. After what feels like forever, Cobra takes your hands and pulls them from his face. He looks back down and whispers, “If he breaks your heart, I’ll kill him.”
You laugh at him, and he looks up at you. When he does, you say, “That’s fair.”
You both start to walk home together, and before you both walk into your house, Cobra whispers, “Also, please don’t make out in any other alleys. I don’t need to see a guy having you pressed up against a wall.”
You burst out laughing as you both walk into your home.

Pure fluff and Minato regretting letting Mitsuru sign him up for the Student Council last year.
Day 4: Genderswap (Ao3 Link)
My original plan: oh, this could be fun to play around with some femc-stuff!
This au gaining a life of its own and turning into a mini-fic: Well Actually.
I’m pushing the prompt for this one to the limit and past it with this, I know.
These prompts were not originally going to all be connected. Now they are. Which means sadly no Kotone, but we do get Minato convinced into being a maid for the culture festival.
We had to get Minato into the maid dress somehow.
Also the running joke about the student council being forced to pull all nighters to get the culture festival done (and Shinji bringing food) is inspired by Fate’s “Emiya-sanchi no Kyō no Gohan” episode where that happened (and tbh that whole show is kinda the vibes I’m leaning into for these post canon chapters).
~ ᙙᙖ ~
Minato had been trying not to think about the rapidly approaching September and October and the dread that accompanied them.
Not just for the reminder of the anniversary of Shinji’s very near death experience - and Minato’s subsequent near killing of himself using revive and healing spells over and over and over until they stuck - though that was certainly part of it, especially given Ken’s brooding and guilt until Koro and Shinji snapped him out of it.
No, Minato was dreading October because of one specific, exhausting, exasperating event.
The stupid culture festival.
Chihiro had been determined that the planning for the event would go smoothly this year, that they would prepare the back-end paperwork and forms well ahead of time, order and assign everything they knew would be needed regardless of the specifics of individual booths, and be prepared for any curve balls any of the clubs or classes threw at them.
Which naturally, the student council all knew, meant that it was going to fall apart spectacularly when it made contact with the enemy. They were all closing their eyes and begging whatever gods were listening to have mercy on their schedules and allow things to go smoothly this year.
Minato knew what god was listening and there was not a single merciful bone in his body.
Ryoji was going to ruin his life with whatever antics he and Junpei tried to rope their class into, and Minato was already trying to plan contingencies.
Contingencies meaning he cornered Yukari and Aigis after school one day and ordered them to help him rein the two class troublemakers in when the dreaded class meeting to decide their booth came into being. At least he wasn’t class rep, so he wasn’t responsible for organizing their booth on top of his duties on the student council.
(Why had he accepted Mitsuru’s invitation to the council? Why had he given in to Hidetoshi and Chihiro’s request that he stay on for third year? Maintaining Social Links were not worth this hell.)
The day finally came, and Minato slunk low in his seat and tried not to think about how much work was about to be piled onto his shoulders against his will. He just hoped that their class wouldn’t go for anything too out there…
“How about a Hawaiian themed grilling booth?” Junpei suggested with a grin, Ryoji wearing an equally devious grin to match.
Yukari shot them both dirty looks. “We’re not going to wear hula outfits, so you can just give that up now.”
“Aww, c’mon Yuka-tan-”
“I’m telling Chidori.”
“W-Wait that’s not what I meant, I just thought a beach themed booth would be unique-!”
The class rep cleared his throat. “Any other suggestions?”
Minato listened as other ideas were thrown around - haunted house, drink stand, various food stands, a couple of plays that were quickly vetoed by people who didn’t want to deal with scheduling show times thankfully - before the one they’d all secretly been expecting was finally called out. Not by Ryoji, surprisingly.
“Well, what about a maid cafe then?” a guy in the back called, grinning in a way that proved he was really only saying it for the joke.
There were immediately groans and protests from around. Yukari shook her head in exasperation, while several other girls rolled their eyes and made faces. One of them had apparently been preparing herself just for this, though, because she immediately shot back with, “Only if it’s a crossdressing maid cafe and the guys are the ones in dresses.”
That immediately got a different round of protests, though some of the girls were grinning at the idea and a couple even endorsed it.
Minato just sighed and dropped his head onto the table. He didn’t honestly care much either way - a maid cafe would be convenient because of its simplicity, and the student council had expected that there would be at least a few of them so they’d ordered the basics ahead of time so it would cut down on his workload. And he’d taken on cafe-work before, so working as a waiter - or even a maid, annoying as it may be - wasn’t that big of a deal. Compared to some of the other things they could try to foist on him, at least.
“How about a Halloween themed maid cafe instead?” Ryoji suggested, making Minato glance back up narrowly. “Since the culture festival is around a week before Halloween, it could be fun! And it’s not as cliche is the usual maid cafes.”
The suggestion actually made everyone in the class pause and think it over. Even the ones annoyed with the initial suggestion looked to be considering it.
“We could do a bunch of different foods that are easy to make in bulk and just change how they look to be more scary,” a girl in the cooking club said thoughtfully. “That wouldn’t be hard to do, some of it could just be food dye…”
“Oh that’s true, if we were doing a costume theme rather than a food theme we wouldn’t have to worry about making sure our food choices complimented each other!”
“Not to mention drinks, I follow a gothic lolita blog and she makes some really cool looking creepy drinks!”
“And if it’s Halloween themed we can choose our own types of outfits rather than the stupid frilly ones you rent from those event sites.”
“With Halloween being so close we could also get stuff from those street party stores for decoration, Tokyo has a ton of them. We can put together some color palettes and decide how creepy or festive we want it to look!”
“Oh, and a budget so we can get an idea of what’s allowed.”
He hadn’t expected Ryoji’s suggestion to immediately take off with popularity, but it sounded like an accidental unanimous decision had been made. It didn’t sound like it’d add much paperwork on his end either.
The class rep cleared his throat. “Alright, just to make it official: Anyone in opposition to the idea of a Halloween themed maid cafe for our class booth?”
Everyone in the class glanced around and shrugged. Even those who seemed disinterested didn’t seem actively opposed.
“Alright, I guess that’s what we’re doing then. That was much less painful than I expected, thank you for the suggestion Ryoji. That said, I have a memo from the student council reminding everyone that the school rules of conduct are still in effect. Uniform dress code may be suspended for the festival participants in costume but those costumes are still required to be school appropriate. Keep in mind that we represent Gekkoukan; don’t do anything to embarrass the school.” He straightened. “That said, I vote we set up a planning committee now so we can begin preparations soon. The student council is pushing for our plans to be submitted early this year, so we need to have that done by October 5th, and the festival will be on October 24th and 25th.”
“Ehhh? Why so early?” one of the girls asked, already pulling out a sketchbook and handheld calendar.
The class rep just shrugged so Minato answered in his flattest tone. “Because we already know we’re going to be staying all night getting ready in the week leading up to the festival and we’re trying to lighten the load as much as possible.” He grimaced, running his hand through his hair, remembering Hidetoshi’s grim warning and already dreading the upcoming event. “The consecutive all-nighters we’re going to have to pull in the week before the event trying to fix everyone’s paperwork mistakes and make sure all the correct permissions are assigned are going to be miserable enough without making it harder on ourselves by leaving things to last minute.”
“Huh?” Junpei blinked at him. “Is it really that bad?”
Minato shrugged. “According to Hidetoshi and Mitsuru it is. Last year’s was cancelled for the typhoon so I missed the worst of it. The year before that was apparently a nightmare though.” Not that they’d given him details, but he’d gotten the impression it had nearly been a catastrophe.
“Oh I remember that,” Yukari mused, tapping the side of her face. “The first-years missed most of the problems, but apparently some of the second-years got in serious trouble for trying to break some school rules, and a few third-years had really weird events that almost didn’t get approved. Not to mention some of the clubs…”
On that note - Minato turned to send a direct glare at the president of the art club at the front of the classroom. “We will veto the art club’s booth if it isn’t reasonable. I will personally deny it.” He remembered what they’d tried to pull last year - he wasn’t dealing with that again. He refused to even think about it. He didn’t even have Keisuke as a buffer this time.
She cringed, raising her hands defensively. “I-It’ll be reasonable! Nothing like last year! No spray paint machines!”
He sent her a long look but let it drop. He didn’t care what they did as long as he didn’t get forced to deal with the paperwork of it.
“Just what the hell were you guys planning…?” one guys in the back muttered, shaking his head. “Anyway, how are we doing to planning committee?”
“Right, so first I’d like any volunteers-”
~ ᙙᙖ ~
Minato had been dragged onto the planning committee against his will by over half of the people on the committee - Ryoji included. Mostly with the justification that as a member of the student council, he’d be in the best position to tell them what would and wouldn’t be allowed.
They did at least take pity on his workload and mostly relegate his role to advisor and final judge so he wouldn’t be doing much of the actual planning work. Which was good because he doubted he would have time - especially once he stepped into the student council room and found everyone as grim faced and determined as though they were staring down exams.
Which really just set the tone for the next month and a half.
It was after dark before he made it back to the dorms, and he walked only far enough to reach the sofas before flopping down.
“That bad, huh?” Akihiko asked, and Minato couldn’t see his face but he could hear the pity in his tone.
“I should have let Nyx destroy the world,” Minato mumbled into the sofa. “Saving the world is not worth this.”
“Oh come on, don’t be so dramatic. It can’t be that bad!”
If he’d thought Junpei would be capable of focusing on permission and order forms he would have forced him into helping for that alone.
“It can, in fact, be that bad,” Mitsuru sighed. “Let me know if you need any advice, Minato. While I sincerely hope your experience won’t as taxing as mine was it is best to prepare yourself for the worst.”
“At least ours is pretty straightforward,” Ryoji pointed out brightly, and Minato felt the sofa dip as the boy sat down next to him. “A maid cafe is pretty cliche, and doing the Halloween theme should give us a lot more freedom to do whatever we want!”
There was that at least.
Sighing, Minato rolled onto his side to look at everyone. “It being a maid cafe knock-off does make things easier. We knew at least a few classes would choose that for a theme, just statistically, so we ordered some of the basics ahead of time. Portable stoves and the like.”
“Good thinking.” Mitsuru nodded approvingly, resting her hands on her crossed knee.
“Thank Chihiro,” Minato muttered, closing his eyes as Ryoji ran his fingers through his hair. “It was her idea, and she’s put a lot of thought into planning this out. We’re just all hoping it works and it doesn’t fall apart at the last minute.”
“It will,” she chuckled. “It always does. But the scale of it will be minimized drastically by pre-planning for it.”
He sighed.
At the very least the kendo team didn’t ask him to help out with their booth. He was, in fact, explicitly told by the captain not to worry about it and to let him know if Minato needed to skip practice. He winced a bit when Minato told him not to expect him at all for October, and there was sympathy on his face.
He clapped Minato on the shoulder. “Good luck.”
Unlike everyone else, however, Ryoji did not take pity on him. If anything, he seemed delighted at Minato’s involvement in everything. If Minato hadn’t known why he probably would have punched him.
… actually knowing why didn’t make him want to punch him any less.
“This is a lot of fun,” Ryoji told him as he stole Minato’s laptop to look at various stores in Tokyo and what decorations they offered.
“I’m so glad you think so,” Minato muttered sarcastically as he lay listlessly on the bed. “Why is this so much work? Why are we responsible for this? Homeroom teachers should be the one approving class booths.”
Ryoji snorted, leaning back in the chair to smile at Minato. “On top of everything else they do? I can’t imagine them agreeing to that.”
Minato mumbled something unpleasant about teachers and what they did in their free time and reached over to pick up his phone as it buzzed. He flipped it open to find a text from their class rep asking about whether he had free time to go to Tokyo with a group of them that weekend and groaned.
“C’mon, it’ll be fun! It probably won’t even be a serious planning trip, we’re just getting ideas for what’s available. And looking at costumes too!”
Ryoji was lucky he liked him so much.
And so it was with resignation that Minato allowed himself to be dragged by Ryoji and Junpei (and Chidori, who had somehow been convinced to come along) to the train station early Sunday morning in order to catch the train to Tokyo so they could, supposedly, go window shopping and make a list of ideas. Yukari and Aigis trailed along after them, so at least he wasn’t alone. He almost wished Fuuka was in the same class as them, but she seemed excited about her own class’ booth so he supposed it was for the better.
She was trying to be secretive about it, but he would find out sooner rather than later what it was with the looming October 5th deadline. He didn’t mention that, though, because she seemed to be having fun.
They met up with… definitely more than just the planning committee just outside Ikebukuro station. Over half the class had shown up, though he wondered how many of them were just using it as an excuse to come to Tokyo for a shopping trip.
That didn’t seem to bother the actual planning committee, who quickly laid out an itinerary of stores they’d be visiting in order to make a list of what they’d actually be using for the culture festival.
Minato would really have rather been sleeping but Ryoji was persistent so here he was.
So they explored the shops around Ikebukuro. Chidori ended up being more help than Junpei, though he couldn’t really be surprised about that given her own aesthetic tastes. She got along surprisingly well with the art club president, the two of them pulling out sketchbooks and sketching out the classroom from different perspectives with various decorative ideas.
It at least gave them all a better mental perspective of how the decorations would look and Chidori seemed to be enjoying herself, and Junpei seemed thrilled, so Minato didn’t feel too guilty about hanging back and letting the rest of them take the lead. Ryoji seemed equally excited to pick out decorations and Minato ended up mostly watching him rope various people into conversations about what they wanted.
Overall, the whole process of picking out classroom decorations went much more smoothly than he’d expected.
And then it was time to start costume hunting, and the laid-back atmosphere vanished as tension suddenly ratched up.
That was also when Yukari took an active participation in the shopping, and Minato realized why she’d come along.
Minato sighed as the arguments began.
“You don’t seem surprised,” Aigis noted from beside him. “Did you expect this?”
“Yeah.” He tipped his head back and stared at the ceiling as Yukari and Junpei’s voices both raised, a few other of their classmates joining in after a few moments. “Costumes were always going to cause arguments, especially with Junpei and Yukari taking the lead in them. I’ll step in if the class rep can’t stop them.” He really didn’t feel like it though. Why couldn’t everyone just be normal about this for once?
“Oh come on, we’d get so many people coming in-”
“If you think we’re wearing that you’re out of your mind!”
“G-Guys, come on, we do still have to follow school regulations for dress code, and we don’t want the outfits to clash too much-”
“This is fine-”
“Oh the hell it is-”
“You’re just being unreasonable-”
“Why don’t you wear it then?!”
“I-I mean, I don’t really think it’d look good on me-”
“She does have a point Junpei.”
“Chidori?!”
Minato groaned. “Junpei put the maid lingerie away.” He ignored the boy’s protests that that wasn’t what it was and just sent him a deeply unimpressed look. “No. School regulations are still in effect. Let everyone pick their own outfits. As long as they fit the general theme it’s fine.”
“R-Right,” the class rep cleared his throat. “Given we’re using Halloween as theme the uniforms don’t have to be perfectly matching, so long as they keep the general maid cafe look. But school regulations are still in effect. So don’t pick anything… risqué.”
“That means anime cosplays are fine, right?” One of the girls asked, leaning slightly towards the anime section. “Like anime maids or butlers?”
He nodded, pushing his glasses up. “I believe that’s perfectly fine, so long as they’re decent.”
“Great!” she chirped and darted away along with several other people.
Everyone else seemed relieved at the break in tension and quickly split off as well. Yukari shot Junpei another dirty look as she returned to grab Aigis and lead her off to choose costumes together. Junpei looked put out as he pouted at Chidori, who just seemed vaguely amused at the whole situation.
The class rep sagged against the wall next to Minato with a deep sigh. “Thanks for stepping in,” he said, running a hand through his hair. “I thought a fight was about to break out, and I wasn’t sure how to handle it.”
Minato shrugged. “Telling them to knock it off and calling them out for being stupid usually works. They’re both headstrong but they’ll listen if you’re specific about what they’re doing wrong.” Usually. Most of the time it also made them mad, but Minato had been ignoring that sort of thing for years anyway.
“I’ll… keep that in mind.”
“Minatooooo~!”
He closed his eyes. “No. Whatever it is that has you using that tone, the answer is no.”
“Aw, come on!” Ryoji slung an arm over his shoulders, and Minato had quickly catch himself as he turned to glare up at Ryoji. “I just want to go look around with you! I have a couple of ideas in mind-”
Minato sent a long-suffering look towards the class rep and the other classmates who had joined him and they all sent him sympathetic glances. They didn’t rescue him, though, so their sympathy did nothing to endear them to him.
How did he end up in these situations?
Fortunately, Ryoji didn’t submit him to endless questions about his preferences or start holding up costumes next to him or anything equally ridiculous, but he made no effort to hide the way he was clearly eying Minato up to compare to whatever various costumes he was looking at. Minato scanned the shelves himself for the sake of putting in at least a little effort, be he wasn’t surprised when nothing caught his eye.
He really didn’t care about dressing up; as long as it wasn’t too ridiculous he was fine with most anything.
Something Ryoji was going to take full advantage of, he was sure.
“Hmm… something like this, maybe…”
Minato looked to where he was leaning close to the costumes and shoved his hands in his pockets. “Those are maid dresses.”
“Yep!”
“…”
Ryoji turned and grinned at him for his silence. “Come on, don’t you think it could be fun?”
“Not really.”
“Well I don’t see you choosing one yourself.”
Minato sighed. “I don’t care about dressing up, I just don’t want something ridiculous.”
“This isn’t ridiculous, most of the class is doing it!”
“The girls are doing it you mean.”
“So?”
“I don’t want something that’s going to make me stick out, thanks.”
Ryoji raised a brow at him and-
Dammit. He knew what that look meant, and yeah, sure, he knew he knew he had the type of appearance that didn’t look out of place while crossdressing, he’d gotten comments from people before about it - hell Yukari had made note of it a few times - and it annoyed him that he knew what Ryoji meant.
“I’m really not interested,” he sighed. “I was planning to just go with something basic.”
“Come on, isn’t that too boring? Have some fun with it!”
“That’s your area, not mine.” Dressing up for holidays had never been one of his thrills, and it wasn’t going to start now.
Rather than deflating the idea like he’d hoped, Ryoji just got a mischievous gleam in his eye that Minato didn’t like. “Hmm, give me a bit!”
He didn’t trust that. “Ryoji-”
The boy waved him off with an unfaltering grin. “We don’t have to choose our costumes now, and I have an idea!”
Great. Those always went well.
And always meant trouble for Minato.
He sighed, giving up the fight. Ryoji would do what he wanted and they would all probably suffer the consequences.
While most of the class did end up buying costumes there, there were still a few like Minato and Ryoji who were holding off for a bit. Junpei was one of them, he noticed, and wondered if he’d end up being dragged into by Ryoji’s attempt to get Minato into a maid outfit or if he was planning something of his own.
“So,” Ryoji said cheerfully once they regrouped outside, “if we’re running a cafe then we should probably do some hands on research for how that works, right?” He raised a finger as though it would prove his point, and Yukari narrowed her eyes at him.
“Meaning what?” she asked dangerously.
He smiled only widened. “Well as it happens I saw a cat maid cafe just down the street, and I thought we could swing by there while we’re in the area!”
… Minato didn’t know what he was up to, but he didn’t trust it. Almost everyone else seemingly did though, because most of them looked thoughtful.
Yukari didn’t seem to fully buy it either, but she didn’t seem as suspicious as she had a few moments before. “Why a cat maid cafe? Aren’t there a few maid cafes around? It is Tokyo after all.”
“Well yes, but that one’s the closest so we wouldn’t have to go far. And since I doubt we’ll be able to find one with a similar theme as ours it might be good to see how something else unconventional works!” It sounded so reasonable when he said it like that, Minato almost could have believed him.
“Is it an actual cat cafe crossed with a maid cafe, or is it just maids with cat theming?” One of their classmates asked suspiciously. “If it has actual cats I’m going to pass - I’m allergic to them.”
Ryoji tilted his head, clearly thinking. “Hmm, I didn’t get a good look at it while we were passing, but from what I could tell it looked one cafe with two sections. Probably one for actual food service and one for playing with the cats, if I had to guess. We can always ask when we get there.”
That idea seemed to set even the hesitant ones at ease. A couple of them still begged off to go visit other stores they had planned, but most of them ended up at the cafe.
Fortunately (for those interested in it) they’d chosen a time of day that it was fairly quiet, so there was room for all of them.
It was… about as cutesy as he’d expected. The maid dresses were in various colors and cat designs, with ears and tails to match whatever look they’d gone for. The cafe itself was filled with cat themed items, with food and drink designs to match, and the maids used cutesy cat puns as they took their orders and served them.
It was a bit too saccharine for Minato’s taste, and he saw Chidori and Yukari making equally pained expressions. Normally he’d have expected Junpei to be thrilled at the whole thing, but he seemed more distracted by Chidori’s discomfort than the cute maid girls around them, and he’d reached out to take her hand under the table and leaned down to murmur something to her.
Minato felt a nudge against his leg and glanced over at Ryoji. The boy tilted his head towards he far wall of the cafe. “Thoughts?” he asked.
It took a moment for Minato to realize what he meant, but once he did he took another longer look around the cafe.
It was themed well, he could admit. There was a door just past the entrance stand that led to a room with large open windows so that customers of the cafe could see the cats playing or sleeping inside. The cafe was lighthearted, with white wooden paneling and brown wooden counters, stills of cats either painted on or carved into the wood. The shelves around them were filled with little statues of cats in various materials, alongside pictures of various maids holding cats or cat-themed items. The menus were equally decorated, with pictures of the various cat-themed food and drink items being offered.
“It’s probably good that we aren’t going for subtle with our decorations,” he deadpanned.
That drew a snort from Ryoji as he shrugged. “Most maid cafes are kind of the opposite of subtle on purpose,” he pointed out. “The gimmick’s the point.”
True enough. “I’m not looking forward to untangling all those spiderwebs from each other in the packages, though,” he said. The art club president and Chidori might have gone a little bit overboard in some areas… Though he and the planning committee had at least managed to veto the fake blood paint on the walls.
“They’re not going to be easy to put up…” Ryoji agreed distantly. “Or the lights. And don’t a couple of our classmates have arachnophobia?”
Did they? Minato didn’t know, but it wouldn’t surprise him. “Even the plastic ones?”
“Hmm… those two might have to be greeters outside.”
Whatever; that was a problem for the rest of the committee to figure out. He was just there to make sure nothing broke school code and to help out for an hour or two at the booth itself. Minato tuned back out as the maid came back to check on them and chat with Ryoji, distantly acknowledging that Ryoji was explaining the culture festival and their idea to her. She seemed delighted, laughing at the concept and explaining some of the choices of the decorations of the cafe itself. Minato could see some of the committee members taking notes, so at least they were taking this seriously he supposed.
It was loud and a headache was starting to form behind his eyes. He’d forgotten how loud Tokyo was all the time. Loud and busy, and the bright cheerfulness of the maids and cafe around them wasn’t helping. He was tempted to put on his headphones and just tune everything out.
But he wasn’t quite that rude, so he just disconnected from the interactions and let Ryoji handle them as he watched the fruit fragments in his drink slowly settle and separate.
Another nudge of Ryoji’s leg brought him back and he blinked and looked up to see several of his classmates getting up.
“The others want to go pet the cats,” Ryoji explained, small smile on his face as he clearly understood Minato’s disorientation. “You should go. It’d give you a break.”
Minato frowned at him. “You’re not going?” That was a surprise - Ryoji liked animals. He had, even as Death unable to interact with them except secondhand through Minato.
Ryoji shrugged, something wry and a little sad in it. “Pretty sure I’d just scare them. You know animals don’t like me.”
Oh - that was right. They’d gotten so used to Koromaru’s utter lack of fear that it was easy to forget that most other animals could sense Death and got unnerved. It happened to both of them, but it was infinitely worse for Ryoji as the personification of death itself.
But most wasn’t all, and Minato wasn’t going to leave Ryoji sitting here by himself when he knew that he wanted to go.
Minato stood up and grabbed Ryoji’s hand, pulling him after him. “Come on.”
“Wha- Minato-”
“It’ll be fine.” He dragged him towards the door, Yukari pausing to hold it open for them with a little smile at their clasped hands.
Ryoji looked a little resigned as they entered the room, glancing around at their various classmates luring the cats around into playing or pets, and retreating towards the windows facing the street outside as couple of the nearby cats dart away from them. He settled on the low cushioned bench beside the window and leaned against the wall as Minato sat next to him.
They watched Junpei lying on his stomach dragging a feather toy across the ground for an excited tabby to chase, Chidori sitting seiza on a mat a couple of feet away and slowly petting a long-haired white cat that was sitting elegantly beside her and kneading the mat. Yukari was standing beside the cat tree, reaching up to pet a short haired russet cat with a white heart pattern on its chest as it nuzzled into her hand. Aigis was kneeling beside her and leaning down to peek inside one of the tunnels where an excited orange cat was popping in and out as though trying to lure her into chasing it. Minato glanced over to see a sad, longing smile on Ryoji’s face and subtly reached over to weave their fingers together.
Ryoji squeezed them and sent him a quick smile and little shrug.
There wasn’t really much he could do about this, so Minato just sat next to him and watched the others. It was nice to get a break away from the bright and general loudness of the rest of the cafe and the city outside, and the room with the cats was a much more muted, brown-toned room with a calming atmosphere. It was nice.
They were both taken by surprise after a few minutes when there was a sudden movement from one of the platform rests halfway across the room, and a dark blue-grey cat suddenly rose up and stretched. It caught the attendant’s attention too, and she glanced up with a surprised and slightly concerned expression.
Minato has a moment to wonder why before the cat abruptly swiveled around and looked directly at he and Ryoji.
His breath caught at the sight of it. It was heavily scarred on its left side - missing an eye and its ear slightly tattered, its fur mostly regrown but clear scars beneath it all the same. It stared intensely at them for several long moments before its single eye narrowed and it leapt down from the platform onto the bookshelf in an easy and powerful move. They watched as it wove between the objects on the shelf with ease - so those injuries weren’t new in the slightest, and it was clearly used to accounting for them and its altered depth perception - until it reached the end of it and paused to stare at them for another moment.
Then without any hesitation it leaned down and kicked off the bookshelf to land directly in Ryoji’s lap.
Ryoji froze and stared down at it, taken entirely off-guard, until the cat turned around to glare at him with an accusing look at not immediately receiving the attention it was deigning to demand. Minato snorted as Ryoji hastily reached up to start petting it, carefully avoiding its scars.
The attendant wandered closer with a wondering look, though Minato noticed that she stopped before she got too close.
He tilted his head. “Is this unusual?”
“It is for him.” She watched the cat close his eye and begin purring softly - a rough, growly sound. “He’s one of our newer ones, and is a temporary rescue from Shibuya. We’re just taking care of him until a safe home can be found. He’s… not exactly friendly. He’s wary of strangers in general and will snap at most people if they try to touch him. There are a few exceptions, but they’re all much older customers usually. His favorite - and future home once all the paperwork goes through - is an older man who was… I think he said he was a goods shipment manager in the Shinjuku area, or maybe it was Shinagawa. He’s as gruff and snappish as the cat, but they seem to be soft for each other so I think they’ll be good for each other.” She shrugged. “I’m not sure why he likes you, but I guess there’s something about you that draws him in.”
Ryoji hummed in soft agreement. “Well most animals seem to dislike me for some reason, so I guess he’s just a contrarian.”
“Maybe that would explain it,” she laughed softly. “In that case, I’m glad you get along then.” She waved at them and turned to help one of their classmates untangle one of the kittens from the yarn it had gotten caught up in.
Minato hummed. “Goods shipping from Shinjuku to Shinagawa, huh?”
“Yakuza?” Ryoji asked, dropping his voice.
“Probably. Or former, at least. If he likes us then I guess he’s just indifferent to the feel of death.”
“Or maybe even drawn to it,” Ryoji agreed in a murmur. He looked down at the cat, still purring and kneading gently at his leg. “He’s clearly had it rough.” His lips twitched up. “He reminds me a little of you, actually.”
Minato sent him a flat look but didn’t respond. He knew what Ryoji meant, and he wasn’t exactly wrong.
The cat didn’t seem to mind when Minato reached out to pet him either, which really just pushed Ryoji’s point. The calm atmosphere of the room made it hard to hold onto annoyance though. Especially when Ryoji and the cat both looked so content.
When they all finally left to head home an hour or so later Ryoji was back to a more cheerful state and his arm brushed against Minato’s the whole walk back. It was nice to see that uneasiness in him washed away - even if it meant that he was likely back to plotting how to pressure Minato into a maid dress.
Getting SEES involved was a low blow he hadn't expected.
Minato wasn't sure exactly how he'd convinced them - Junpei and to a lesser degree Aigis were no surprise, but Yukari too??? - but he found himself ganged up on by half his team in the dorm lobby the next day with looks ranging from bemused to determined to devious and had a sinking feeling that he wouldn't win this fight.
So Minato ended up in the maid dress.
It was an ordeal in and of itself that he had to fit in between his other duties, because Ryoji decided to continue the theme of being symbolic and roped Yukari into it, so he found himself being measured more than once.
He did not ask what for; he did not want to know. He'd find out when it was time for the booth either way and he didn't have the energy to resist it, what with all his other duties.
October crept past quickly, days passing one after the next as most of the school gained a frantic edge trying to get everything together in time. The student council became increasingly on-edge and snappish as they tried to get all the paperwork in order and permissions signed on time. Minato found a particular loathing for permission forms for weapons - the kendo team wanted to put on a live technique demonstration with real swords and the sheer number of hoops Minato had to jump through to allow them made him want to reject the idea outright. He hadn't thought it would be that hard when Hidetoshi foisted it off on him but it turned out the school didn't like the idea of openly allowing the students to have real weapons.
The irony wasn't lost on him.
Eventually Minato lost his patience with the whole affair after being forced to argue with the principal directly and just pulled rank by calling Mitsuru and asking her to get permission from her father.
The permissions were granted two hours later.
(He was probably going to be forced to participate in the showcase in exchange, but he could deal with that.)
The week leading up to the festival was exactly as difficult as they expected it to be - Minato hadn’t actually expected anyone to bring in sleeping bags or futons but a couple of them had - and they did, in fact, pull all nighters getting everything in order. On the second night Shinji, Mitsuru, Ryoji, and Aigis showed up around ten with food and drinks to their collective relief. They had prepackaged snacks but real food was preferable.
Mitsuru stayed to help - nearly bringing Hidetoshi and Chihiro to tears out of gratefulness - but the other three were ushered out soon after so they could all get back to work. Shinji and Aigis went easily enough if a bit nonplussed, but Ryoji pouted the whole time as Minato shoved him out the door.
If he’d been allowed to stay Minato wouldn’t have gotten anything done and they both knew it.
And so the days leading up to the festival passed in an increasingly hazy blur of paperwork, classwork, and sleep deprivation until the night before when they finally finished everything and the setup was done. They all collectively breathed a sigh of relief and then went to pass out for several hours before the school day officially began.
And then Minato woke up partially refreshed, had coffee, and braced himself to meet up with his class.
He still hadn’t actually seen the costume Ryoji and Yukari had prepared for him.
Ryoji pulled him into a nearby empty classroom a couple of hours before the event was supposed to begin with a grin that spelled… maybe not trouble, exactly, but an anticipation that made Minato narrow his eyes at him.
He paused when he finally saw it, taking it in.
It wasn’t… bad. He wasn’t sure what he’d been expecting, but it wasn’t nearly as obnoxious or frilly or ridiculous as he would have expected. It was an understated black, in the usual design but patterned with white cherry blossoms almost like a kimono would have been. There was a waist chain with very familiar looking coffins hanging from it that made Minato swallow and think back to that final battle. Rather than the usual frills, the bottom had a single line of lace (or faux lace probably) with more cherry blossoms patterned into it, and the apron overtop had cloth blossoms sown into various edges.
“So, what do you think?”
Minato sighed with a shrug. “It’s fine. Not as ridiculous as I was expecting.”
Ryoji laughed, bumping his shoulder. “Have some faith! Yukari and I wouldn’t be cruel enough to force you into something bad looking. Come on - I’ll help you put it on.”
It probably wasn’t difficult enough to warrant that, but they’d barely seen each other all week and the contact was nice as Ryoji helped tug the fabric into place and buttoned up the back and tied the apron’s ribbon into place. The socks, like the dress, were a simple black with more blossoms sewn into the sides at the top. The shoes were a traditional black with a strap overtop, though the small kitten heel made him roll his eyes.
At the end of it Ryoji stepped in front of him with the same soft smile that he had before as he reached up and slipped the cherry blossom hair clip into Minato’s hair. It drew another sigh from Minato as he closed his eyes and leaned into it.
He couldn’t say he was at all looking forward to this, but… well, he could tolerate it. Even when Yukari showed up and forced him into a chair to do some quick makeup.
At least he didn’t look out of place, he could grudgingly admit to himself as they joined up with the rest of their class beginning to don their own costumes. Ryoji’s costume was clearly inspired by his form as Thanatos - if altered to fit vaguely more into the cafe theme - while many of their classmates had chosen to cosplay one anime or another. He saw several Kuroshitsuji and Kaichou wa Maid-sama inspired cosplays, atop of others that were clearly inspired by something even if he didn’t quite recognize them.
The fact that it took several minutes for anyone to even notice him and do a double take at least meant he wouldn’t draw to much attention from people coming in to try the booth…
The classroom looked good at least. It had just enough creepiness to sell the halloween edge, while still being lighthearted enough not to feel genuinely off-putting.
… as long as you ignored the spiders.
(Granted his perspective was rather skewed, so the fake coffins around may have been creepier to everyone else than they were to SEES.)
Most of the setup had been done the day before, so it was as simple as turning on the equipment and preparing the ingredients and then dividing the tasks. Minato was extremely grateful that he at least had a morning shift so he could avoid the worst of the crowds and have time to deal with the kendo showcase.
Granted that also meant that the rest of SEES showed up first thing in the morning before he was properly awake. Ryoji and Junpei greeted them cheerfully, while Minato just gave them a dead-eyed stare.
They all stared at him for a moment, eyebrows raised.
“Huh,” Akihiko mused, crossing his arms. “I wouldn’t even question it.”
Shiji shook his head. “Guess I see now why Yukari and Ryoji were so confident.”
“It suits you.” Chidori nodded, hand on her chin. “The lace was the correct choice.”
“Wow…”
Junpei snickered and elbowed Minato lightly. “Yeah, never would have guessed, huh? He makes a pretty girl.”
Minato rolled his eyes and ducked around him, ignoring their notes about his costume. “You couldn’t have waited until later?” he asked as he shooed them to a pair of tables and handed them menus. Even Fuuka was here, since her shift for her class was apparently later in the day.
“What, and wait until all the options were gone?” Shinji snorted, skimming over the menu. “Given how much the other three have been hyping it up I want to judge for myself.”
Had they been? He must have missed that while he was drowning in paperwork.
Minato shrugged. “Your guess is as good as mine, I’ve been busy.”
“Indeed you have,” Mitsuru sighed and brushed her hair from her face. Yukari suddenly appeared next to them and placed down a glass mug filled with frothy, bright pink liquid with red fragments floating around inside and a leaking cherry stuck on the rim of the glass. Mitsuru raised a brow at it and glanced up at Yukari - who was wearing an equally pink maid dress with red stains painted onto it as though dripping from a red spot over her heart. “Do I dare ask what this is?”
He wasn’t sure he wanted to know either.
Yukari shrugged with a smile. “Coffee. I figured you needed it since you’ve been helping the student council.”
Ken eyed it doubtfully. “That’s… coffee?”
“What kind of coffee is pink?” Akihiko asked in a mutter.
Shinji narrowed his eyes at it, expression thoughtful. “I can think of a few ways.”
Mitsuru stared at it for a few moments before shrugging and picking it up to take a sip. She paused and seemed to be considering. “This… isn’t bad at all. It’s as sweet as I expected and I can taste the cherry… but I wasn’t expecting cinnamon. It has an almost earthy tone… what coffee did you use?”
“It’s just instant coffee, actually.” Ryoji popped over cheerfully as he set a glass with a bright orange drink in front of Ken, green flecks floating around in it. “The pink stuff is beet powder, and we used honey and cinnamon to make it sweet and milk to make it creamy, and then pulverized cherries for the red bits! Is it good?”
“It is, I’m impressed. I suppose you all did your own taste testing?”
“And lots of research,” Yukari agreed, folding her tray behind her back. “We split up the tasks between hunting across Tokyo cafes and across the internet for recipes.”
He’d missed that too, it seemed, and he couldn’t even lie and say he was disappointed about missing taste testing questionable concoctions.
“And what’s this…?” Ken asked warily.
Ryoji grinned at him. “Try it.”
The boy eyed him mistrustfully but hesitantly took a sip. His eyes widened. “Oh, this is really good.”
Yukari nodded, pleased. “We found that one in one of the American inspired cafes near Shinagawa. It’s a pumpkin milkshake. It’s kinda weird, I think it has some sort of sweet cracker ground up in it, but it tastes good.”
“It’s a bit early in the morning for milkshakes, isn’t it?” Shinji scowled down at the purple and green drink that Junpei set down in front of him. “What the hell is this?”
“Gotta try it and find out, senpai!” Junpei said cheerfully.
Shinji made a face but picked it up anyway. He paused, eyebrows raised as he tasted it. “Taro and matcha. Not what I was expecting given your other combinations.”
Ryoji shrugged. “We had to keep some things close to home.” He paused as he saw the drink Aigis was bringing out to Akihiko. “Wait, Akihiko did you get-”
“Oh no,” Yukari muttered, glancing around nervously. “He’s not actually going to drink that, is he?”
“D-Did you actually read the ingredients, senpai…?” Junpei watched Aigis set the drink down with wide, nervous eyes, and Minato wondered what the hell was in it that was making them so worried. Even a few of their other classmates were glancing over with frowns.
Akihiko shrugged. “Not really, but with a name like “Final Gasp” how could I not try it?”
Minato raised an eyebrow at the violently red, thick looking drink with green bits.
Shinji picked up the menu again to read it and Ken leaned over to peek. Ken’s eyes widened and he paled a little while Shinji immediately smirked and looked up to look Akihiko dead in the eye. “Bet you can’t drink that all at once, Aki.”
Yukari and Junpei both choked and Ken’s eyes widened in horror. Ryoji stiffened.
“Akihiko I really wouldn’t recommend-” he began, but Akihiko ignored him to lean forward.
“You really putting an easy bet like that down, Shinji?”
“Akihiko,” Mitsuru sighed, bringing a hand to her forehead. “It could not more obviously be a trap.”
“Of course it is, but a man’s gotta take a challenge head on if he’s to get stronger!”
“So cool, senpai!” Junpei’s fear was forgotten in the face of awe as he cheered him on as usual.
Minato casually leaned over to read the menu as he took Fuuka and Chidori’s drinks from a classmate and handed them to them. Fuuka’s was some electric blue raspberry drink with some sort of yellow and mint decorations, while Chidori got what looked to be a strawberry and cream drink decorated in a way that it looked like blood was trailing down the glass into the milk.
Akihiko’s was-
… were those four types of peppers? Not to mention at least one spicy sauce mixed with tomato and beet juice of all things.
Minato sighed as Akihiko picked up the glass, tilted his head back, and began chugging it.
He could see te exact moment the spices hit because Akihiko’s face screwed up and began turning bright red. To his credit, though, Akihiko did managed to chug the whole thing in one go. He just leaned over his knees choking on air with a crimson face, ears, and neck afterwards. Shinji was still smirking at him while Junpei looked sympathetic, and Yukari and Mitsuru both seemed like they were contemplating whether to throw the both of them out of a window.
His team really was full of idiots sometimes, wasn’t it?
“Try not to die,” he told them all blandly then turned and headed back to the front and away from their antics. Yukari could suffer through it.
The next few hours of the event went smoothly enough. They got a lot of compliments on the theming and their costumes - and Minato got recognized several times with much double-taking and amused confusion that he generally ignored - and lots of interesting reactions from their food and drink offerings. A few more people tried the spicy drink, though only one or two could finish it. The mochi was another hit - white powdered with either red jam or black paste inside - and overall it was a success that went smoothly.
Minato wasn’t sure how to feel about how many compliments and borderline criticisms his costume got from people who didn’t know him. His classmates seemed very amused that no one even noticed that he wasn’t a girl unless they knew him directly, but Minato found himself more exasperated by the comments and compliments he got about his outfit’s theming. The ones who didn’t wondered if it was too pretty (aside from the coffins) while the ones who did waxed poetic about it and beautiful subtlety of the ephemeral nature of cherry blossoms and the fleeting beauty of youth-
Maybe he was just a little too sensitive about the topic of his not-so-metaphorical death and the meaning of the transience of life because some of the comments about it being too subtle or too on-the-nose rubbed him the wrong way.
The problem with it being such a personal reference between SEES he supposed.
But their class’ first shift finally ended around noon and he made his escape back to the empty classroom as the second group came to relieve them. He slumped back against a desk with a sigh.
Ryoji slipped into the classroom with a sympathetic look, sliding the door closed and walking over to lean against him and cage him against the desk. Minato dropped his head against his shoulder and closed his eyes as he just breathed and relaxed to be away from people.
It hadn’t been that bad, honestly. He’d dealt with far worse while working at the actual cafe. But something about some of the inherent misunderstandings of his costume and what it meant needled at him in a way he hadn’t expected. It was just a costume - just a fun gimmick not meant to be taken seriously.
Except it wasn’t.
The pin in his hair, the coffins on his waist, the flowers that referenced his short life and temporary death and return-
Minato sighed.
Ryoji pressed his face to Minato’s hair, murmuring, “Sorry. I didn’t realize how much it’d be.”
“It’s fine,” he sighed and leaned into it. “I don’t know why it bothers me. It’s not like I care about their opinions.” And he didn’t; he couldn’t even remember their faces now. So he wasn’t sure why it annoyed him so much.
“It’s the principle of the matter.” Ryoji wrapped his arms around him in a proper hug. “No one should make light of what you went through or how much you struggled. Even if they don’t know… it shouldn’t be trivialized.”
Minato hummed quietly in acknowledgement. Maybe it was that. But it shouldn’t matter because they didn’t know and couldn’t know. He wouldn’t want them to know. No one should have to know how it felt to become enveloped by death. To know so far ahead of time and see it creeping ever closer year by year until it became day by day knowing it was an inevitability.
You couldn’t close your eyes and cover your ears to escape, after all.
And he’d come back - they both had because Ryoji was stubborn and Aigis asked them to please try despite all odds and SEES was their anchor and Minato had wanted so desperately to stay, but-
He sighed again as he wrapped his arms around Ryoji. “Maybe not,” he said quietly. “But we’re still here.”
“Wounds leave scars.”
“Is it a wound?”
“What else could a death knell be?”
Maybe so.
“We’re still here-” he repeated quietly.
“-and we’ll stay here,” Ryoji finished. “That doesn’t mean the memories don’t hurt.”
Minato didn’t respond - but he didn’t need to. Not with Ryoji. So they just stood there for several minutes together waiting for Minato to recuperate enough to deal with people again.
They eventually pulled apart and changed out of their costumes back into normal clothes to go meet the others, Aigis falling into step with them at the end of the hallway where she’d clearly been waiting for them. It was a quiet comfort.
Especially exploring the rest of the festival with SEES, and Fuuka excitedly showing them her own class’ booth, or being dragged into more trouble by Junpei, Ryoji, and Akihiko, or trying out other weird foods with Mitsuru and Fuuka as Yukari made faces, or listening to Chidori casually eviscerate other class’ costume or decoration choices.
Despite everything, they were still here and would stay here.
~ ᙙᙖ ~
Yes, I know this is… not exactly the prompt. But it’s the closest I could get while still working within this au and keeping a less depressing tone. I thought about PQ2, but then I started mentally plotting it out and it was getting very sad so I decided to do this instead to keep both the linear narrative going and the crying to a minimum.
It is also once again much longer than I intended.

🩹 - Mikan
Mikan felt a sigh of relief leave her as he told her not to apologize. “Most of m-my friends are single still too,” She added. “I definitely th-think M-Mioda could use someone to… calm her down a little.” The rocker was a rather wild one, and considering her rise to fame in the underground idol world, she was quite popular with both men and women alike. Still, Ibuki seemed far too distracted with causing chaos and making music to settle down. Mahiru and Hiyoko were on their own. They seemed quite happy together and Mikan had no intentions of breaking that apart. And as for her other friends? They were all off doing other things or working in the hospitals alongside her. She could probably gather a handful of friends who would be interested in a mixer party. But she’d think about that later. Mikan listened to him talk, her eyes lighting up as he explained he’d visited Seoul before. “L-Lucky! I’ve only been wh-when I was really little,” she replied. “I b-barely remember my trip with my g-grandmother.”
Tumblr media
“I g-guess… people with older ideologies tend to shun those who d-don’t quite fit the molds that they think s-society should have… I’m n-not upset over it. I’ve lived my whole life with p-people telling m-me I’m not fully Japanese. It doesn’t offend me like people think it should.” There were far worse things she could get upset over. He was right about people coming from different backgrounds being more interesting though. She always found patients who came from other places to have the best stories to tell. “Really? I would have n-never guessed!” She exclaimed, taking a sip of her drink. “I know how you feel. K-Kids can be really cruel for no reason. But I don’t b-blame them. They don’t know any better.” Mikan leaned back in her seat, a genuine sense of connection forming between them. Part of her wanted to ask him home with her - a bad habit she had desperately tried to rid when she was younger - but she wanted to take this a little slower than her past relationships. Minato seemed too good to be true and she wasn’t about to let it go sour so early on. “Eh… so… I know this is b-being a little forward. But I f-figured since I’d already mentioned it before… I’d really like to do this again w-with you.”
Tumblr media Tumblr media
[{ 🦋 }] - "Sounds like this Mioda friend of yours has a lot of energy, A little too much. Kind of reminds me of my best friend Junpei, that guy can always bring the hype, and make any moment more vibrant with his energy."
A soft chuckle as he thinks of a few times his best buddy did what he does best, be the same outgoing dude he was known for being. There was never a dull moment with his best friend Junpei Iori around. If his buddy agreed to come, he would more than likely just come for the party to meet new friends, as Junpei was in a relationship with Chidori Yoshino, and he honestly couldn't be any happier for those two.
For some reason, Minato felt like that name sounded very familiar, he didn't know anyone with that name personally, but he could have sworn he heard it somewhere before, he just couldn't remember. Either way, this person sounded a bit overly energetic, It made him curious about her other friends she has, especially since this Mioda character sounded very happy-go-lucky, and that wasn't a bad thing either.
When they further spoke about Korean food, Minato brought up his most recent visit to Seoul, a travel experience that he thoroughly enjoyed, not just for the wonderful food, but also because of the location he was investigating at the time, good food, and constant communication with spirits was a perfect recipe for a very good trip if he ever went to Seoul again, he would definitely have to invite Mikan to join him, especially if she hadn't been there for a long time, and besides, not only did he enjoy her company, it would also be a very nice switch since he had been there only with his coworkers, it would be especially enjoyable with Mikan Tsumiki right by his side.
Tumblr media
[{ 🦋 }] - "Really? Hmm, in that case, the next time I go to Seoul, maybe can come along? I'd be happy to have you with me on that trip."
Hearing her state something so boldly that she lived her life being cast aside due to the slight difference, it kind of amazed him. On the outside, Mikan appeared so weak and frail, but never did he think that she would be so strong after living through that for such a long time.
[{ 🦋 }] - "Yeah, I think so too. But, wow... you're much stronger than I thought, I am very glad.. I admire that about you Mikan."
A soft chuckle after Minato revealed his other ethnic origin, something that was often hard to believe when it came to it, Thankfully, just like he thought, she understood how it felt too.
[{ 🦋 }] - "Yeah, it's hard to tell sometimes, and people these days can definitely be that way. Some kids can definitely be cruel, but they'll learn eventually."
Minato was a little surprised when she asked for a second date, he honestly didn't think it would happen, so evidently, but he wasn't complaining this time it didn't take him long to have an answer, because he also wanted to have another date with her, so he smiles.
Tumblr media
[{ 🦋 }] - "You're not being too forward, in fact, I would be more than happy to go on a second date with you Mikan, I'm really enjoying this time we're spending together, and I'm looking forward to more." He says with a smile.

Would that be wrong?
The crew is out camping. It's time for dinner, Takuya calls Junpei a girl and the others try to finally get a clear answer out of him. Would it be wrong?
a/n: this wasn't supposed to be about trans!kouji but somehow it ended up that way anyway. I don't know why. Anyway hope you enjoy another disaster from me!
Ship: Kouji/Junpei to shake things up a bit :3
------------
The fire was warm. Junpei closed his eyes, let the warmth wash over him. Takuya and Izumi were arguing about something, Junpei didn’t know what, just that it was football-related. Tomoki was making dinner over the fire with Kouichi aiding him. Kouji had disappeared into the forest a while ago, hadn’t let them know why. Junpei leaned his head back, rested it ontop of the trunk he was sitting against. The fire crackled, ate away at the wood. This was nice. Reminded him about the digital world, but without all the danger.
Time passed. The air got colder as the evening snuck over them. Takuya and Izumi had ended their argument, had joined Tomoki and Kouichi by the fire instead. Steps came closer, then Kouji sank down next to Junpei, leaned against him. Kouji was shivering and Junpei put an arm around him without opening his eyes.
”Food’s done”, Tomoki told them.
Junpei opened his eyes again. Watched as Takuya grabbed a plate. Didn’t even wait for Izumi.
”Ever heard of ladies first?” Junpei asked.
”Didn’t know you were a lady”, Takuya answered.
Izumi snickered. Junpei’s cheeks felt hot, his brain locked up and he didn’t have any answer. Kouichi grabbed a plate and gave to Izumi.
”Would that be wrong?” Kouichi asked.
Takuya scratched the back of his head. Laughed in that way he did sometime, when he had been caught speaking before his brain could reel him in. Kouji turned towards the fire, pressed closer against Junpei. Junpei pulled Kouji closer in a sideways hug.
”Hungry?” he asked.
Kouji shrugged. Stood up and grabbed Junpei’s plate.
”So where did you go?” Takuya asked.
Junpei already felt tired. This was an argument waiting to happen. Kouji filled Junpei’s plate and gave it to him.
”None of your business.”
Some kind of stew made from vegetables and noodles. Kouji sat down again and Junpei took a bite of the food.
”Just trying to be friendly”, Takuya answered and Junpei rolled his eyes.
”It tastes great, Tomoki! You did good!”
Tomoki beamed and Takuya turned away from Kouji, towards Tomoki instead. Also praised the food despite not having tried it yet. Junpei ate another mouthfull of stew. It was warm, staved off the chilly evening air. It’d be winter soon, and then they wouldn’t be allowed to go camping, not until spring. Kouji shivered next to Junpei.
”So what are we doing tomorrow?” Izumi asked.
”We could go spelunking”, Kouichi suggested. ”There’s a pretty big cave nearby.”
”Caving sounds fun”, Takuya agreed, ”unless someone’s scaaaared~”
He looked at Junpei and Junpei rolled his eyes.
”I was in the digital world just like you, you really think a cave would scare me?”
”You’re scared of thunder”, Takuya laughed.
Junpei looked away. He wasn’t going to dignify Takuya with an answer if he was being a butt about it. Besides it wasn’t like Takuya needed to hear the whole story about the lightning bolt striking the house when he was home alone, it wouldn’t change anything. Junpei was scared of lightning.
”No thunder in caves”, Kouji said. ”Cave sounds good.” ---
Junpei ate another spoonful of soup, watched the fire. He hoped it wasn’t one of the tiny caves they had to crawl around in. Kouji wrapped his arms around himself and Junpei nudged him.
”Go get a sweater or something.”
Kouji let out a sigh, stood up and left towards the tent. Junpei finished his meal, put the plate on the ground. Closed his eyes again. Takuya and Tomoki also finished eating, started kicking a ball between themselves, while Kouichi and Izumi talked quietly about something.
”Would it be wrong?” Kouji asked.
Junpei opened his eyes again. Kouji had put on a sweater and was leaning against a tree near where Takuya and Tomoki were playing football. He had his arms crossed, already on the defense, and Junpei sat up straighter. Takuya stopped running and tilted his head.
”What?”
”If Junpei was a woman, would it be wrong?”
Junpei’s cheeks felt hot again. If it had been anyone else he would have said anything.
”It’d be weird”, Takuya answered. ”Can’t make fun of girls.”
Izumi looked at Takuya. She didn’t seem angry, just… resigned. Kouji kicked something on the ground.
”You make fun of Izumi.”
”Yeah, but she’s Izumi.”
”What does that mean?!” Izumi shouted.
”You don’t behave like a girl at all”, Takuya shouted back.
Izumi was on her feet, started running towards Takuya and Takuya took off.
”This is what I mean!” he said as Izumi hunted him through the trees.
Kouji gripped his arms and Kouichi stood up as well, went over to Kouji and put a hand on his shoulders. Whispered something Junpei couldn’t hear. Kouji shook his head.
”I’m going to bed”, Kouji said and disappeared into the tent again.
Kouichi’s shoulders fell. He looked towards the tent for a while, before returning to the fire and sitting down next to Junpei. Not curled up against Junpei like Kouji did though. That would have been weird, actually.
”I’m… worried”, Kouichi said.
”He didn’t eat”, Junpei noted, ”but I’m sure he’ll be fine.”
Kouichi looked even more worried, but shook his head.
”I’m more worried about Takuya. Or… like…”
”Yeah”, Junpei interrupted.
He understood. Takuya always become avoidant when they asked anything like that. Tried to joke it off, often with another offensive remark, or by shifting the topic in blunt ways. And afterwards Kouji would always disappear into himself.
”We could just kick Takuya out of the group”, Junpei suggested.
Kouichi snorted.
”What if we just go camping without him and Tomoki next time?”
”Tomoki’s fine”, Junpei said. ”It’s just Takuya that’s being weird about it.”
”He probably thinks we’re the weird ones.”
Tomoki picked the football up and returned to the fire. Looked at Junpei and tilted his head.
”Are you a woman?”
Junpei pulled a hand across his face. This was stupid, everything about this was stupid, Takuya was stupid.
”I’m not”, Junpei said. ”Just the butt of the joke in this group.”
”It’s…”
Tomoki kicked a leaf on the ground, didn’t look at Junpei and Junpei rolled his eyes.
”Come on, kiddo, stop looking like you sold the butter and lost the money.”
”What even does it matter?” Tomoki asked.
Junpei glanced at Kouichi with a smile and gestured at Tomoki. Kouichi rolled his eyes.
”It doesn’t”, Kouichi said. ”That’s the thing. At the end of it we’re all just… humans.”
Junpei yawned and rubbed his eyes. Would Kouji and Takuya be friends in the morning, he wondered. He stood up, stretched.
”I’m going to bed as well”, he said. ”See you in the morning.”
”Night”, Kouichi and Tomoki answered.
They started talking when Junpei left, he could hear them whisper to each other. About the same topic or another Junpei didn’t know, but he glanced back, noticed Kouichi’s raised shoulders and concluded that yes, the topic was still the same. Did Tomoki know, Junpei wondered as he opened the tent.
Kouji had moved his sleeping bag, placed it furthest into the tent, between Junpei’s and the canvas. Junpei smiled.
”Hey”, he whispered.
Kouji looked at him, eyes slightly red. Junpei closed the door again and sat down on his sleeping bag, started pulling his pyjamas out of his backpack. Absolutely freezing.
”Are you doing okay?”
Kouji sighed.
”Yeah… just…”
Junpei pulled his shirts off and Kouji turned away, blushing.
”We’re both guys”, Junpei said, ”you can stare.”
Kouji snorted.
”It’s fine. The tent is interesting to look at.”
Junpei snorted as well, quickly changed into his pyjamas.
”Kouichi suggested we leave Takuya and Tomoki home next camping trip.”
”It’s fine”, Kouji repeated.
But his voice was less light-hearted. Junpei laid down in the sleeping bag with another yawn and Kouji turned back towards him, put his head on Junpei’s shoulder and Junpei wrapped an arm around Kouji. Kouji yawned as well.
”Are you doing okay otherwise?” Junpei asked.
This was the best chance to get an actual answer, without any of the others around to hear. Kouji shrugged and put his arm over Junpei.
”I’m… okay?” Kouji suggested. ”Just feeling a bit meh.”
”Are you getting sick?”
Junpei put the back of his hand against Kouji’s forehead. A bit cold, but everything was cold with night falling. He shivered and put the arm back inside the sleeping bag.
”I think it’s just PMS”, Kouji whispered. ”Hate this body.”
Junpei looked at the ceiling. There wasn’t much he could do about that. He hugged Kouji.
”Well, that body contains you, so I like it”, he said with a grin.
Kouji snorted. Good enough.
”Good night, Junpei.”
”Night, Kouji.”
Junpei closed his eyes, listen as Kouji’s breathing slowed down and he fell asleep. The others also stepped into the tent, got ready for bed. Turned off the lights hanging from the ceiling. Junpei fell asleep the second darkness fell completely.

Feeling sick and very bored tonight so I decided to have some fun with Select Smart's "Which character are you" quizzes and the results were very interesting. Did a few anime ones:
Jujutsu Kaisen
Tumblr media
I feel like this one is actually very on point? Especially for Geto and Junpei, they are the JJK characters I relate to the most. I haven't seen much of Kiyotaka so I can't really say much about him.
The only character that came as 0% was actually Itadori, so interesting. xD
Attack On Titan
Tumblr media
This one was such a surprise to me, I mean, I know I have some things in common with Ymir, but 100% was a very big surprise, of course these tests are just for fun but still wasn't expecting Ymir there. xD
I remember Annie to be the first character I felt some connection with, I can indeed relate to her a lot if I stop to think about it. Now, Floch...I feel a bit offended here, not gonna lie. :'D I can't see where we are alike...at all.
Berth, Mikasa and Eren were the only ones at 0%.
Naruto
Tumblr media
Not surprised at all, I always felt a very deep connection with Shikamaru, we have a lot in common (well, machism is not one of them but let's forget about that :'D).
As for Sasuke...I always knew that we were very much alike, I just never wanted to accept it because back then I really really disliked the guy and only a decade and a half later I came to understand his character and why he was and acted the way he does, now I can say I enjoy his character.
0% on Naruto...I can agree with this one. xD
Demon Slayer
Tumblr media
I don't think I've ever talked about this anime here, it's not one of my favorites but it is one of the animes I've been following so I decided to give it a try.
I haven't read the manga so all I know is what has been shown in the anime so far... from what we've seen already I am guessing I have a lot in common with Obanai, yes.
I also felt a very strong connection with Gyutaro, mostly because of his backstory, to which I can relate a lot as well.
Apparently I have 0% similiarities with Inosuke which may be why he gets on my nerves so much. xD
Chainsaw Man
Tumblr media
I don't know much about the Angel Devil yet so I can't really tell much about this one, however, I can totally see why Kobeni is second...as for Makima...🚩☠️ I guess?
0% for Power this time, I can see why.
Bleach
Tumblr media
I haven't finished Bleach yet but why not? LMAO
Not much to say about this one, I don't see the similarities this time, at all. xD
0% for Unohana Retsu for this one.
Tried a few One Piece ones but the questions were just meh so I gave up. :(
Feel free to do these and tell me your results because I am very curious to know. 👀

giv kurashiki angst. this is your chance (or junpei)
Oh my god anon thank you for this, I am giggling with evil intent cause this is a messy one. I spun a metaphorical roulette for which flavor I was going with, yesterday it was Safe end but today it's Axe ending so nothing gory but be warned for exactly what it says on the tin, heart-crushing and awful. Tl;dr is Akane in Door 2 realizes she has to be the one to convince Aoi to sit in the freaky movement-restricting chair so as to ensure things go as foreseen
Headcanon C: heart-crushing and awful, but fun to inflict on friends
.
Akane perceives three fundamental facts underlying their predicament at the same time. Palpably recognizes their incongruity, all while Seven carefully reads out the instructions on the panel for all to hear.
One, this timeline ends in death for them all. Clover kills both the grown men still speaking and breathing right next to Akane, and of course June will be killed too. Then, Junpei afterwards... The girl wearing an oversized jacket, perfect to hide the already bloodied axe in, had been lurking about scarcely landing a hand to the group. Right now she's sitting on the scaffold, behind Akane and Seven's backs, as they both crowd around the screen.
Santa fires back at hearing Seven's words, and they both enter a brief argument.
"You've got to be shitting me! What the hell is sitting in that thing supposed to help us with?"
Two, she's not the only one here aware of how the puzzle that'll unlock the door requires someone to sit in the torture chair to initiate. Seven wouldn't fit in the narrow metal block that is the device. Clover would not comply. June supposes she could go through the discomfort, after all, she's aware of the bluff that is the possibility of electrocution. However, there's just one more thing to consider.
Three, her brother still has a gun.
And for all the faith and trust and everything else she puts on him, expecting someone not to fight back when violently assaulted with an axe would just be too much.
"C'mon, man. Are you actually gonna make a lady sit down on that thing? Just look at her."
It snaps Akane out of her thoughts to realize that Seven's referring to her own distant, askance expression.
"Oh! Oh, what are you saying, I'm- fine. I just..." The only point her eyes could focus on to escape their stares, was the dummy of a dead shark to the left of their feet. June isn't supposed to know it's a fake, but that reality is hard to look away from, after hours upon hours of pretending, suddenly, upon entering here, things felt real again. There's real static through the cold confined air of this chamber. The tentative step she takes towards it on top of the glass sends a real chill through her body, which despite her resolve, is still instinctively afraid of losing balance and falling into the water beneath. Her hand moves to her messy hair bun as she retracts back to her initial position, purple eyes meeting her sibling's to make sure he notices the cue. She feels real guilt for the first time in years.
"... Actually, y-yeah. Could you... please do this for us, Santa?"
Perhaps that feeling would alleviate somewhat, if he'd shown any real hesitation right there. But no, he only grunts, rolling his eyes disingenuously, and follows her lead.
He mutters audibly under his breath. "If everyone else is too much of a pussy to do it... " Then raises his voice to say the part he actually means. "Fine! I guess i have no choice but to be a 'gentleman' about it."
"Ah! That's the spirit! Knew you weren't that bad."
Sitting down on it is awkward, despite knowing it doesn't send any shocks. It's not helped by the shackles clicking together over his wrists and ankles, to which he's very genuinely startled by despite knowing to expect it too.
"Aargh, whatever! Just get it over with!"
"It'll be fine, Santa! I can hold your hand if you want."
The tone is joking but she doesn't wait for an answer. Skipping forward and letting her right hand fall on top of his left without a second thought as his other hand's index finger starts anxiously tapping the metal bar it rests on top of. Though she's not the one used to holding onto the other and giving comfort, it's an attempt which both manage extremely uneasy grins at.
.
She still has a very genuine very guttural reaction when she gets between him and Clover later on, after Seven's been killed, not being able to just stand by and watch it happen

When They Have Bad Dreams
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Features: gojo; megumi; yuuji; inumaki; junpei; gender neutral reader (Megumi's might imply more AFAB though considering Zen'ins) Content warning: fluff; angst; hurt/comfort; mentions of canon typical violence
Tumblr media
He tossed and turned all night. His mind couldn’t escape the nightmare playing on loop, making rest near impossible. Hurried pants left his lips as his bad dream reached an apex too shocking for his sleeping mind to take. It’s with a gasp that he finally springs up, panting violently, eyes blown wide, and drenched with sweat.
Tumblr media
Gojo doesn’t remember the last time he’s had a dream like this. He was in a fight with a curse, and everything was going smoothly until you’re captured. As the strongest, it should be easy for him to come to save you. But as soon as he tried to use his curse technique, it didn’t come. Instead, all of his powers melted away and suddenly everything became too real. The shock was overwhelming to the point he couldn’t even move as the curse pierced your chest right in front of him. As the blood drained down, he only thought, “Why couldn’t he save you?” He’s the strongest so he was supposed to save you. He didn’t get an answer as another curse stabbed through him as well.
“It’s kind of a stupid dream, right? Looks like I woke you up for nothing.” He laughed deep and smoothly but you could sense the heaviness in that laughter as his blue eyes slightly squinted in dissatisfaction at his own worries.
“Satoru,” you softly whispered, arm coming up so you can stroke some of the sweat from the side of his face with the back of your palm. “I’m not going to die that easily, and if something like that ever happens, I’ll protect you instead. So, you don’t have to worry about dying either.”
As you offer him a comforting smile, Satoru couldn’t help but think you protecting him is exactly what he’s afraid of.
Tumblr media
Megumi wasn’t a bully, and he’s never once thought to hurt you, never even raised a hand to you other than to lightly tap the back of your palm when you’d try to steal fries off his plate. He couldn’t really hurt the one person he cared about most in this world. Still, he could only dream about the nastiest things sometimes when it came to you—his hand shoving you to the ground, a tear leaking down your swollen cheek, not at the pain of him striking you but at the words he’d call you: pathetic, stupid, worthless. He blames his own insecurities for manifesting such thoughts. Megumi tried to shove it down. Ignore it because he knew he loved you and that no one would ever abuse someone they were supposed to love if they truly loved them, but it’s this time when you fight that makes the nightmare impossible to keep to himself any longer.
“Your father was right to sell you. You’re nothing but a Zen’in through and through, Megumi,” you said before abandoning him too.
Megumi broke down in front of you, something that worried you as you’ve never witnessed him like this. “I don’t say it often, but I love you. I do. I don’t know why I have these dreams, but I would never ever hurt you. You have to know that. Please say you know that.”
“I do. Megumi-kun…is way too kindhearted to do something like that,” you reassured, intertwining your fingers with his to provide some comfort to his racing mind and to remind him of the promise sealed in silver around his finger. “Besides if I thought you could ever hurt me, I would’ve stayed in my arranged marriage to Naoya-san instead.”
Megumi grumbled softly. “It’s not like the Zen’in would disapprove of you marrying me. Whether it’s him or me, it’s the same thing in their eyes.”
“But it’s not the same to me, because you’re the one I love, Gumi,” you affectionately replied and placed a gentle kiss on the corner of his lips. His heart was pounding even before you kiss him again. “Show me that you love me too, okay?” you gently requested as you slid your arm around his waist and pushed him back down to the bed.
Megumi feels he’ll have pleasant dreams tonight.
Tumblr media
Yuuji loved you. He knew from day one that he loved you, which meant Sukuna knew as well.
The curse wasted no time turning all of Yuuji’s pleasant thoughts of you into morbid curiosities. Every time Yuuji thought of how good-looking or sweet you are, Sukuna was quick to echo in his head about how much better your body would look filleted and grilled over low heat or the fun things he wanted to do to you.
It was only a matter of time that the boy should have nightmares about it. About blacking out during a fight as Sukuna took over, only to wake up to find your neck wrapped in his large hands, your head lolled back as if you had no strength to lift it, and your eyes lacking the light of life they once had.
Yuuji didn’t bother to throw on anything more than a pair of sweats as he stalked to your room. He ignored all the laughter in his head from Sukuna at how pathetic he looked dragging his feet like a child who just pissed the bed and was going to tell his parent. Yuuji’s fist came rapping at your door, and you answered with a yawn, rubbing your hand over sleepy eyes only to gasp when you see Itadori.
He’s sure he looked awful, bags under his eyes and his hair clinging to his forehead from his sweating. “Hey…can we talk?” he asked, and you know, you already know he had the dream again.
You grasped his hand softly and pulled him inside. “Always.”
Tumblr media
Inumaki was always careful with what he said. Having to grow up with only a specific set of words to use in everyday life for his technique made him an expert at not saying things he didn’t mean at least if it wasn’t in the form of a food ingredient.
But that didn’t stop the two of you from getting into a fight that landed with you sleeping on the couch out of frustration. That night, he dreamed of that fight again, but the conclusion was very different as he lets words he doesn’t mean slip from his mouth.
“Go away.”
And so you did, angrily in fact as you growled out at him. “You didn’t have to use your technique for that.”
With guilt clawing in his stomach, Inumaki clambered out of bed and walked to your shared living space to see if you were still awake. Luckily, you’re awake but with your body turned inward towards the couch and your arms drew over your chest.
“I’m not coming to bed,” you said before he even gets a chance to talk.
“Bonito flakes.”
Curious, you turned over, more than a little huffy as you meet his eye. “Then, what is it?”
Not wanting to argue anymore, Inumaki shook his head and waved his pointed fingers in front of his neck a few times. “Tuna.”
“Are you apologizing?” you asked, and Inumaki nodded affirmatively before clasping his hands together to make a heart.
He watched as you slowly relaxed and brought your hands together to match his. Inumaki smiled softly, the curse marks on the side of his mouth dimpling with his cheeks. You giggled.
“Fine, fine. I forgive you. You’re lucky you’re so cute.”
Inumaki chuckled before letting out a soft demand,
“Cuddle.”
You shifted over so he could have enough room to lay with you. “You know you don’t have to use your technique for that,” you teased as he snuggled against your chest.
“Salmon.”
“I love you, too.”
Tumblr media
Junpei was no stranger to nightmares. He’s had them all his life. At least until he met you, and the nightmares became pleasant dreams instead.
But now the nightmares were back. All he could see was your back distancing from him as you moved on to someone less pathetic, someone who could give you everything you ever wanted instead of only tears and cynicism. He wasn’t sure who that person was as you simply disappeared out of his reach, but he knew he doesn’t want to lose you to anyone. You, the person who laughs at horror movies. You, the person who tends to the physical wounds etched into his skin and emotional wounds carved into his soul, the one person besides his mother who made it easier to remember that there’s still light in this dark world.
When Junpei woke up, he immediately reached for his phone and dialed your number on impulse. He waited for it to inevitably go to voice mail, and he heard your voice recorded on the other side. “Hey, it’s me. I-I’m sorry to be calling so late, but I didn’t know who else to talk to. I’ve been having these weird dreams lately, and I,” Junpei paused, trying not to choke up as the tears started to leak out, “I was wondering if you wanted to hang out tomorrow when you get out of school. It’s been a while since we’ve watched movies together, and…”
Junpei froze, feeling utterly pathetic to think you’d respond when you hadn’t bothered to even text him back last time. Sighing, he hung up before he could complete the message, and he found another name instead. Junpei was happy that this one picks up.
“Mahito, I had that dream again, and I think you’re right. I don’t think (y/n) wants to be friends with me anymore.”
“We’ve been over this, Junpei, these things happen. People are fickle creatures easily distracted by the things they think they deserve and so easy to be blinded about things that are right in front of them. You’re better off without thinking about such fools.”
Junpei tightened his shaking grip on the phone.
“I know, Mahito, but…this time it’s different,” Junpei explained, his hand twitching as he reached to his left pectoral. His fingers sunk into his shirt and clenched as if he could hold and comfort his painfully swelling heart now that you’re not here to do it for him, “...It hurts.”
“In that case, how about you meet me tomorrow, and I can show you how to forget about all those bitter feelings,” Mahito offered. His suggestion was sympathetic to Junpei, but his smile was malicious as he thought about how you said the very same as you cried for your friend to save you. “It’s fine. It’s fine. You don’t have to thank me. I’m happy to help you out anytime.”

hi!! if your requests are open, can you maybe do a junpei, todo, and inumaki with a sorcerer mc who's really flirty and touchy-feely? like, flirting is their first natural instinct upon meeting a person but they seem much more sincere with them and even spoil them with compliments and gifts and times. i want it to be like a first meeting to friendship to a relationship? sorry if it's too long though! i just really love secondary characters and in need of more fics of them <33
their flirty but sweet and loving s/o
Tumblr media
featuring: junpei yoshino, aoi todo, and toge inumaki
okay but junpei (precious), toge (my beloved), and todo (neutral chaotic) was a good mix! i’ll admit that i didn’t love todo as much but he’s growing on me :P enjoy :)
junpei
he likes to keep to himself most of the time so he’s a little taken aback at your very forward demeanor during your first meeting
he didn’t expect to make many friends at jujutsu tech, given that they probably wouldn’t be as friendly as itadori
he wonders, “why are they talking to me? no one really does that”
you don’t even know him that well and you’re being really nice and are sitting really close to him
you’re asking him about how to came to the school and he was happy to answer but you seemed a little too invested in the conversation
you kept eye contact with him with a tantalizing look
some of your questions seemed a little weird to him like when you asked him if he liked to keep his hair hanging down in his face like that
and then you told him that he has pretty eyes, making his cheeks flush with pink
he didn’t hear anything that you said after that
but he didn’t want to let himself get distracted by you, thinking that maybe you were doing it to get him to underestimate you, which he was mostly right about
you were a powerful and practiced sorcerer as was almost everyone else at the tokyo school
most everyone was also pretty intimidating, like maki, nobara, and megumi so he was more comfortable getting help from you and itadori
he observed how you were with yuji and that you seemed to employ a similar interaction with him but more teasing-like
but training together allowed you to become closer and sharing things about one another let him see a more genuine side of you
like when you talked about why you became a sorcerer and he understood immediately
“you don’t want people to endure pain and negativity from curses so you take it upon yourself to provide strength for them.”
this was a real turning point on your part because in the world of jujutsu, being overly concerned about non-sorcerers can be frowned upon by other sorcerers
you complimented him on his perceptive nature
“you remind me a lot of yuji, except you’re, um, you’re a lot prettier. i mean, not that you’re just a pretty face. i’m just saying that-- oh.”
that was the first time you hugged him, joking that he talks too much before thanking him for being so empathetic
your relationship only grew from there and you would spend almost every day together, just talking and learning more about the other
he told you about all his favorite movies and recommended some that he thought that you would like
and then you suggested for you and him to watch them together ;) cue his blushy cheeks and stuttering as he agrees
the rest is pretty much history and you two would have movie nights together every week
this is when he realized that you weren’t as flirty with him anymore as you tried to respect his space when sitting on the couch
you looked cold one time so he offered you part of the blanket that he was using so you moved closer to him and eventually, you leaned your head onto his shoulder, snuggling up closer to him
his head and heart nearly exploded
he’s a little shy and slow to warm up with touching but you make it easy for him by moving slowly
he finds that he really likes holding your hand or having an arm wrapped around you
he’s ready to confess to you, like, that day. he never thought he would get that far and it’s crazy you flirted with him in beginning
“so, um, i was thinking, uh, maybe we could, you know, go out, like, in public together sometime maybe?”
he looks so nervous and can’t keep eye contact with you but you respond by holding his hand gently and agreeing
after that, it was over for him
you’re so sweet to him and he would never understand what he did to deserve you but he tries not to question it
you sometimes surprise him with little memorabilia from his favorite films which might seem like junk to everyone else but he cherishes it greatly, especially when you gave it to him
he’s just heart eyes all day, every day for you
todo
he has some distaste with your behavior upon first meeting you
he knows what he wants so if you’re not it and, what he would call, throwing yourself at him, he won’t be interested
or so he thinks he wouldn’t be
this is quite ironic of a take from someone who will immediately deem someone boring if they don’t have ‘a good taste in women’
but honestly, a himbo like him cannot resist attention so once you stop giving it to him, he’s like ???
soon he was showing you all of his cursed technique moves and would sometimes use megumi as an unwilling volunteer to practice on in front of you
then he beats megumi or inumaki steps in to stop the fight but todo will still wait for your feedback
“did you see that? his fighting style matches his passion and taste: tactless and dull.”
you agree patting his arm while praising him for using a word like ‘tactless’
this exact interaction seems to be an everyday occurrence except his unaware victims change
(he will not be fighting noritoshi again anytime soon)
however, you’re there to help him with any injuries and his bruised ego, telling him that everyone has their bad days and that it’s normal for him to fail
he should think of it as an improvement on his skills because if he continues to challenge someone as ‘tactless and dull’ as megumi, he won’t improve
then something clicks for him as you say this, flashing back to a memory of you and him meeting
he decides that his initial judgment of you was severely skewed, causing him to plead for forgiveness
“i’m sorry for thinking that you would bore me. i really admire someone as wise as you! also, you might not be my exact type but you’re really beautiful. would you mind if we went out together sometime?”
you accept his apology and sweetly agree to go out with him
you were actually pretty nervous to go on a date with him, stressing out about the littlest things, mostly close to your appearance
you finally just decided to keep it simple and true to yourself as he seemed to appreciate that from you earlier that day
the date was more than successful and he was very considerate but remained to be his cocky yet fun-loving self
you continued to spend time together and eventually decided to officially become a couple
“i love making new memories with you but the old ones are fun as well. what was that thing you said to me when we first met again? please let me hear it again, babe!”
you remind him of the first words you spoke to him, asking if you had accidentally bought tickets to a gun show
he has you remind him every so often even though he remembers it very well
you tease him by saying that he thought you would put him back in a stagnant place
he leans on the table, giving you his dreamy eyes look
“yeah, baby. i really wasn’t thinking back then because you are the best thing that’s ever happened to me.”
but probably one of his favorite things about you would be that you still surprise him by taking him to takada events, even though he said he wouldn’t go
he doesn’t want to upset you by giving someone else his attention because he knows that would hurt him but you can tell he would still want to go
“only if you’re there with me! gotta make sure the other guys there don’t go sniffing around what isn’t theirs but obviously, you’re not my property so why would i say that? haha. can i have a kiss, please?”
he’s still working on being more respectful but sometimes his little suggestions are welcomed because that is who you love
inumaki
he doesn’t express himself like everyone else so your flirting doesn’t necessarily leave him speechless
despite that he doesn’t talk much, he still has very vibrant expressions and uses a lot of gestures and of course, his rice ball words
the first question you asked upon meeting him was along the lines of him being silent and brooding like megumi
he just shrugged and was like, “tuna”
you told him that he was interesting and cute to which he was both dumbfounded and frazzled by
he’s thinking, “did they really just call me cute?”
after that first interaction, you make an effort to get to know him even though he can’t talk much
you didn’t want to seem patronizing or pitying in talking to him but you were generally interested in becoming friends with him
 you learned all of his safe words, which wasn’t many, but you also tried to create new ones with him
he was actually quite funny and had many interesting things to say
he’s really just like any other person, just living his life
you had given him your number and you would text when apart but you tried not to write back and forth when you were together
when you were talking about jujutsu and how you got into sorcery, he was very attentive to you
but you were more eager to hear about him
for some reason, getting to know him felt a lot more intimate than with other people
sure, he had been through a lot but it was endearing to you that he chooses not to speak in order to protect others, even those who might be a threat or who he does not care for too much
he showed you a closer look at the seals imprinted by his lips, including the one on his tongue
he was very easy going and answered all your questions about his cursed speech and its rather large part of his life
one question lingered in your mind but you chose not to say it, thinking it was too forward
you continued to talk and spend time with him, eventually considering him one of your closest friends
then you started doing stuff together outside of school, mostly going out to eat
this boy loves to eat and you’re thinking it’s no wonder that he speaks in rice ball
you find that you have to be careful though because he’ll steal food off your plate if you’re not eating it
and yes, he paid for your food and won’t accept anything back from you, even going as far as taking the money from you and slipping it back into your pocket for you to find later and angrily text him only for him to go “whoops *shrugging emoji*”
you eventually decide that he is too cute and sweet for you to go on like this and the time that you find it opportune to finally ask him
you ask him what would happen if you kissed the seals by his mouth
he doesn’t say anything and with a faint blush on his cheeks, he pulls down his collar and points to his cheek, signaling for you to try it
so you lean in and give him a small kiss on the mark and then ask him if it was okay to which he points to the other seal
you laugh lightly and kiss the other side and ask again
he then points to his lips and shrugs, “salmon....tuna?”
long story short, you are glad you asked because kissing him feels like eating chocolate or ice cream: sweet
after you pull away, you ask if that was too forward of you to which he shakes his head and speaks, “perfect.”

Hello , could I please request headcanons for the jujutsu kaisen characters of your choice reacting to their s/o sacrificing themselves to defend them and getting hurt. Make it as angsty or fluffy as you like I trust your creativity.
you said i could make it as angsty or fluffy as i like so some are more angsty than others but there is a good amount of fluff
JJK Characters Reaction/Hcs To Their S/o Sacrificing Themselves + Getting Hurt To Protect Them
Tumblr media
- to him it feels like junpei all over again when he sees your body fly backwards and hit the wall of the building
- immediately runs over to you and frantically asks if you’re okay
- when you end up passing out from the amount of pain, he freaks the hell out because he thinks you’re going to die soon
- he grabs you and hides you in a place where only he knows (and megumi in case of sukuna coming out and it going wrong) before going back to the fight
- if you thought he got angry about junpei, just you fucking wait
- he knows he has to go as fast as possible because your condition was very bad so that’s what he did
- he used the black flash so many times on the mf even megumi was like “:0”
- legit didn’t stop until he knew the curse was exorcised fully before he ran back to you
- he found you still leaned up against the wall and still unconscious which made the boy start to freak out again
- so he picked you up and started running to the nearest hospital to find someone to help you
- when he did make it to the doctor, they told him that it wasn’t likely that you would survive and his heart broke in half
- “they…won’t make it?”
Tumblr media
- maki is the only one here that i believe wouldn’t freak out completely, at least not show it
- when she sees you jump in front of her to take the hit, she doesn’t know what to think
- so many thoughts are running through her head that she doesn’t even know what to do either
- but after a few seconds she clears her head she quickly moves you out of the way, reassuring you that everything will be fine before she goes back to the fight
- she would look calm on the outside and act like she wasn’t freaking out when on the inside she was
- she just couldn’t help but think that you were going to die, since the hit you took was pretty harsh and you were already unconscious so how could she not worry about you?
- when she finishes putting the mf in their place, she rushes over to you and checks if you’re okay, but the blood pouring out of you spoke otherwise
- now she was really starting to freak out, so she grabbed you and ran back to the school to shoko since you had been hit by a curse and she truthfully didn’t know where else to go
- usually she would train to get rid of her bad thoughts that would occur, but with you recovering slowly, she did the opposite and instead stayed by your side the whole time
- but when shoko came back and told maki terrible news that you weren’t going to make it, the teenage girl broke down for the first time
- “i’m so sorry that i couldn’t protect you...”
Tumblr media
- megumi was known for being the “emotionless” one of the group, but when you ran in front of him to block him from a bullet flying at him and got hit yourself, he flips his shit
- he stares at you with wide eyes when you collapse into his arms, not knowing what to do
- seeing your condition, the blood pouring out of your abdomen, and the way your eyes closed from exhaustion and pain was all it took for him to be filled with rage
- so he gives you to yuji and tells him to hide you somewhere so you couldn’t get more hurt before he unleashes hell on whoever hurt you
- won’t hesitate to use his domain expansion if he’s angry enough (which definitely happened) and go berserk
- tries to go as fast as possible so he can get back to you sooner but is also making his opponent feel the most pain possible for hurting you
- when he does finish, he quickly has his dogs find you so he can then get you, starting to freak out now
- truthfully he has no idea what to do so he just starts running to wherever was the closest hospital, not even caring about the other students that were still fighting
- upon reaching the hospital, megumi doesn’t even realize that there are tears in his eyes, threatening to spill out
- he stays in the hospital until you wake up, and when you do he comes inside with your convenience store foods and drinks, as well as flowers because he’s a sweetheart :((
- “i...thought i was going to lose you.”
Tumblr media
- upon first realizing what happened, she scolds you for getting in the way and that you could have been hurt
- when she does realize you’ve been hurt…oh boy
- she gets so fucking angry, like never seen before angry
- before she attacks whatever hurt you, she drags you to a place where you wouldn’t get anymore hurt
- then when she goes back to the fight she goes berserk mode
- “you think you could hurt my s/o and get away with it? think again, asshole!”
- literally she won’t give a shit who or what hurt you because she will kill or exorcise it with no hesitation
- honestly her mind is just clouded with rage so yeah she definitely doesn’t give a shit 😭✋
- after she or the others successfully defeat said person or curse, she runs back over to you and starts freaking out at your condition
- “WHY DID YOU HAVE TO HELP ME? LOOK AT YOU!”
- “it’s nothing, nobara.”
- “YOU’RE BLEEDING, Y/N!”
- she does eventually calm down but is still worried about your condition when you have to go to the hospital because of it
- she won’t let you do that shit again LMAO

What do SEES and the Phantom Thieves do for Halloween?
I originally wasn’t gonna make a post about either of these groups but I will indulge you and only you because you always send me like the best asks ever.
SEES
Akihiko insists on wearing a costume that allows him to be shirtless every year. He doesn’t care how many times Mitsuru reminds him that it’s October and it’s cold outside and that he’s going to be complaining within 5 minutes of leaving the house. She’s right every year.
Mitsuru doesn’t fare much better though; no matter what her costume is she’s always wearing the tallest heels in the room and then regrets her decision because her feet hurt like hell and she can barely walk. Akihiko gets mad that she’s taller than him.
Ken and Koromaru dress up as Russell and Doug from Up. Shinjiro very reluctantly dresses up as Carl.
Per Fuuka’s suggestion, they all go to a haunted house together. What’s the worst that can happen? They’ve all handled Tartarus, surely they can handle some cheap fake scares
They were oh so very wrong.
Junpei screams before they even get through the door. The spiderweb decoration got caught on his hat and he couldn’t get it off. Shinjiro smacks the hat off him.
Akihiko and Ken try to match each other’s bravado and manage to make it about halfway through without screaming. They get so wound up that they both bump into Shinjiro at the same time and jump about a foot in the air.
Yukari quite literally jumps into Mitsuru’s arms at some point in the middle and Mitsuru just carries her the rest of the way through
Well, almost the rest of the way. Chainsaw guy came out from behind a door and Mitsuru dropped Yukari and ran. Heels and all.
Minato and Aigis are the only ones straight faced and completely fine most of the time. Aigis has sensors that detect anything ready to pop out at her so she’s never surprised.
The rest of them think Minato’s just too tough or watches a lot of horror movies but really he was just listening to music the whole time and not paying attention.
Surprisingly, Fuuka’s the one who ends up punching a performer and gets them kicked out.
Phantom Thieves
They all plan to have a Halloween party at Leblanc. Shenanigans ensue.
Sojiro tells Futaba she can put up decorations as long as she doesn’t scare the customers. She doesn’t listen and puts up whatever she wants.
Or rather, she makes Morgana put them up while she puts together the perfect Halloween playlist. Morgana gets tape stuck to his paws and does the little cat thing where they lose their shit.
Ryuji and Ann are in charge of bringing the snacks. Yusuke somehow hijacks them on the way to the party and eats half of everything.
Haru comes in the bloodiest costume you can imagine. They don’t even know what she’s supposed to be she just has an axe and is drenched head to toe in fake blood.
Ren takes Yusuke to a spirit Halloween for the first time and he launches into an angry rant about how cheaply all the costumes are made and how it’s an affront to the art world. They are promptly escorted from the premises.
Makoto shows up in possibly the most boring and impractical costume of all time. She’s an egg and she cannot make it through the door.
Ren tries to cook a “spooky” version of Sojiro’s curry. All he did was make it super spicy and add way too much orange food coloring. It looks and tastes like Chester Cheetah took a shit on a plate.
Akechi shows up uninvited dressed as Batman because he’s a stupid little nerd. He does the Batman voice until everyone gets sick of him and Ryuji throws him out.

um can I get some Jjk angst? Just some really angsty drabbles (I want to get hurt lol)
Heh- I can work with that
warning(s): blood, death, being cheated on, rejection. unrequited love, murder (kinda), extra sads on this one :(
Tumblr media
{𝐈𝐭𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐫𝐢 𝐘𝐮𝐮𝐣𝐢} Itadori has never felt this way about anyone, ever. The way your smile seemed to make his entire body explode, your laugh made his knees weak, your eyes were so beautiful it made him feel like crying. Yet, you weren’t his, and you’d never be his. You loved someone else, and no matter how hard he tried he’d never be that person. He watched you giggle with your partner and his heart ached. When your lips pressed together, Itadori imagined you were kissing him- and that made his heart flutter. Still, it was just his imagination. Sukuna mocked Itadori, telling him every reason you wouldn’t want to be with him. Against his better judgement, Itadori listened. Maybe it’s a good thing, y’know? Since they would execute soon him.
{𝐌𝐞𝐠𝐮𝐦𝐢 𝐅𝐮𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐮𝐫𝐨} He sat alone in his room, staring up at the ceiling, wondering where he went wrong- was it something he said, he did? Was he too boring? Was it the way he held you, did Itadori hold you better than him? I bet he did. Or maybe he just wasn’t enough for you. It’s probably a combination of all of those things. Tears rolled down his face as he turned onto his side, grabbed a pillow and screamed as loud as he could. He missed you so much- and he hated himself because of that. He was so stupid, how could he ever believe someone as beautiful as you would ever want to be with him, someone so perfect could never love him. Of course you love Itadori, why wouldn’t you? He’s fucking perfect, compared to Megumi- he’s everything he isn’t, kind, powerful, attractive. I guess you’re right, be with Itadori.
{𝐆𝐨𝐣𝐨𝐮 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐮} Gojou has never really feared rejection, I mean what does he have to fear? He’s powerful, attractive, and smart. He normally has no problem getting who or what he wants. But with you it was different, you never showed an ounce of interest and you always told him to “stop” when he was flirting with you. He just took it as “playing hard to get”, yet when he told you how he felt- you said you hated him. You hated how he could never take a hint, how he walked, how he talked, how he acts so smug, finally you called him childish. Gojou had never had this happen to him. He felt his heart shatter into millions of pieces, little windows of insecurities opened up, making way for every negative thought he’d ever have. This is what he deserves isn’t it. He could never take a hint.
{𝐈𝐧𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐢 𝐓𝐨𝐠𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠: 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐬 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐲 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐡𝐢𝐜} It was rare for Inumaki to wish he never had cursed speech, sure it was annoying- like when he couldn’t say I love you (vocally at least) and when he needed to comfort you. Other than that, it was pretty useful. But now, seeing your empty eyes as your body lay lifeless in his arms, he loathed his technique. He didn’t even know how it happened. Everything was spinning, his mind running a mile a minute trying to think of what happened to you. Yelling and screaming your name from the bottom of his lungs until blood came gushing from his mouth, yet he still called for you. The tears and blood mixed in a pool by his knees. Just open your eyes! Open your mouth and tell him it isn’t true, caress his face and tell him everything will be ok, just move, do something! Please…
{𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐩𝐞𝐢 𝐘𝐨𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐨} You sat at home watching tv, waiting for your boyfriend to call you back. You weren’t that worried. Sometimes it took him a little while to call back, he was probably binge watching another movie series and had turned his phone off. No biggy, he’ll call you back to tell you the entire plot line soon. When your phone rang you picked it up immediately, not looking at the caller ID, it had to be Junpei- nobody else was going to call you this late at night.
“Junpei, finally, I was getting a little worried-” you smiled excitedly into your phone.
“I’m sorry, Junpei Yoshino is dead. We recently found his body on the Sato Zakura campus. This number was listed as his emergency contact would you like to discuss..” The man’s voice on the other line faded out. Your eyes filled with tears, your lungs felt empty, you tried to breathe but everything felt brutally cold. You would never see him again, your precious boyfriend would never call you at 3:00 am again to tell you about a movie he just watched, you would never hug or kiss him again, this can’t be real. It’s just a dream, and you’re going to wake up with Junpei right next to you, right? Yeah, that’s it, just a dream. Wake up, all you have to do is wake up.

a/n: I literally thought about this before falling asleep and I had the weirdest fucking dream ever it felt too real now I need to write this so-
cw: body description (of junpei), somno, Junpei is a peeping tom, slight angst, fingering.
Tumblr media
Junpei to most people is so weird. He’s unusually skinny for a guy his age. His collar bones protrude unfashionably and peak at you from under his too big t-shirt. His waist is slender and fragile, hip bones poking against the material of his pants. His limbs are so slim, it looks as though he hasn’t but an ounce of muscle on him. He acts weird too. He doesn’t talk to anyone and always sures his hair covers that eye of his. Despite other people finding him weird or awkward, you found him cute. Befriending him was a task all in itself, it was hard to but even harder to maintain a friendship with him due to him always keeping people at arms length. The truth is, you wanted to know him better- get closer to him. What started out as small kindlings of feelings grew and grew into the now roaring fire you held inside your heart. The rare smiles you’d get from him, the way his eyes lit up whenever you complimented him— those small things accumulated overtime until you left with a huge mass of emotions that you had no clue what to do with.
Maybe except one thing.
He looked so surprised, so happy when you told him how you felt, when you handed him that beautifully decorated letter. His face was slowly turning a mean shade of red. What you were expecting to come though didn’t, seeing as he told you he couldn’t accept your feelings. You gave him a sorry half smile that caused a pain within his chest that almost made it hard to breathe. You turned on your heel and walked away, hands clutching the small letter to your chest.
Rejection hurt. Your mother always says “the worst thing that can happen is that they tell you no” but it seemed she was for once, wrong. The friendship you’d worked so hard to build and maintain crumbled in a single second, like a sandcastle hit with ferocious tides. He didn’t speak to you anymore— in fact he avoided you, purposely taking the long routes to class so he didn’t have to see you, eating lunch on top of the roof so he didn’t have to eat with you. Scratch that, rejection didn’t hurt it fucking stung like a bee except this time it was your heart having the allergic reaction.
The whole truth is, Junpei was in love with you. In an instant, if he could, he would drop everything for you to be his. Seeing as he was already yours, unequivocally yours. But he was sick. The first day you’d began talking to him was the start of his sick desires. It began with following you home, footsteps light and unnoticeable. He just wanted to make sure you were safe, that’s all. Then he started peeking into your window while you slept, he did this all night and passed out on the bus ride to school. Eyes drooping and heavy, bags that scream tiredness. But he couldn’t help it, he just wanted to make sure you were okay, nothing more.
Then it evolved into him breaking into your house. With your parents away for work and you all alone, he had to be the one to protect you, you were so innocent, too innocent and trusting of this evil world. He couldn’t find a rationale for stealing your used panties. Nor could he find a rationale for taking them home and sniffing and licking at the crotch part while he stroked his pathetic cock to your entrancing scent. Junpei realized long ago that he was in love with you, couldn’t you see he was just trying to protect you from himself? He too, was apart of the evil world, in fact he embodied it.
He’d come late one night, his mother holding him up at home before he could leave his house to go see you. When he got there and peered into your window, you were masturbating. A flush rose to his face and his cock jerked to life. This would be the first time he’s ever seen this before. He didn’t sneak in this time, instead opting to watch your fingers plunge in and out of your cunt whilst you whined, he snuck a hand down and began palming his already hard cock from over the fabric of his slacks. That’s when he heard it.
“Junpei!”
His name from your mouth. You were masturbating while thinking of him? He immediately pulled his hand away from his cock in fear that the thought alone would make him cum. He waited for you to fall asleep to finally make his entrance. His breathing was heavy and uneven when he stood in your doorway. He swallowed down some his excitement, he didn’t want to wake you. But today, he was at his limit, he couldn’t hold back his longing for you anymore. He stripped and laid his clothes gently on the back of your desk’s chair. He slid in bed with you and at the mere feeling of your bare skin pressing against his he shivered. His cock was already hard, if he’s honest, the smell of your room—the room filled with your scent, was enough to have him stiff as a rod.
He analyzed your features before doing anything. Your face was scrunched up in a look of sorrow with dried tear stains on your cheeks. He hadn’t known his lack of presence in your life made you so sad, it had a throb of pain shoot through his chest. He didn’t care, he deserved it. You were naked, exposed breasts rising and falling in time with your breathing, your thighs were still spread wide open and a hand was resting between them. Silly girl, didn’t you know you were supposed to clean up after doing something like this? He’s so excited he doesn’t know where to start first, his fingers lightly tread over your soft skin, running from your neck, down your arm until they reach the smoothness of your thigh. He wants to savor you, take his time but his cock is already beading pre-cum, it’s amazing what you do to him. He cups one of your breasts in his hand and your lips part slightly and he takes advantage of that by placing his lips over yours and he slides his tongue in your mouth. Even in your sleep you’re so needy for him your hips are subconsciously raising off the bed. How adorable, you’re so cute.
Junpei’s fingers pinch your nipple and tug on it which leaves you whining breathlessly into the soft kiss. Junpei finally pulls away after he thinks he’s going to suffocate from lack of oxygen, it wouldn’t be such a bad death if it’s by your hands but he did want to live a little longer to finish the task at hand. He slides his hand down the expanse of your tummy and gently nudges your hand out of the way until his fingers have complete access to your cunt. Junpei’s cock is grinding against your thigh, he’s so turned on and hasn’t even really done much to you yet. He spreads your cunts lips and uses a finger to gently rub up and down your slit. Your pussy feels so nice, it’s soft and mushy and still wet from your earlier activities. He could die happy now, if you were to wake up and hate him he’d be able to live with it—he finally got to feel your cunt with his own fingers.
His decides he wants to explore everything your body has to offer him, he doesn’t want to waste anything. His fingers stumble upon your clit. He curiously runs the raised bud back a forth a bit and your reactions are so perfect. Soft moans keep falling out of your mouth the more he plays with it. He can feel you becoming more and more wet under his ministrations. He takes a chance and slides a finger inside of your cunt. He sucks in a breath at the feeling of your soft walls clamping down around his eager finger. Junpei’s breathing picks up and he slips in another finger, he slowly begins moving them in and out, mimicking the movements you did earlier. Your cunt feels heavenly around his fingers, your back is arching now, moans becoming louder as he grinds his cock against your soft body. He’s gonna cum soon.
He hasn’t even stuck his own cock inside of you and yet he’s already on the edge. It’s just your cute reactions are bringing him far closer than he’s ever been before. You’re so perfect like this, brows furrowed as you struggle around in your sleep. His fingers thrust upwards in an attempt to thrust them deeper inside of you. He rubs the pads of his fingers against a spongy spot that has your thighs shaking. He’s panting at this point, his hot breathes are hitting directly against your ear. He can feel your cunt spasm around your fingers and when he tries to pull them out you’re sucking them right back in. Oh god, you came didn’t you? He can’t help the way his hips stutter, his cock twitches as he shoots his cum over your lower half.
He withdraws his fingers from your cunt and he opens his mouth and sucks them clean. He sits up and begins climbing out of your bed. He feels so bad. The guilt is washing over him in waves, he knows he’s sick but that’s why he can’t be with you. His mind can’t help but flash back to the sad look on your face from before. It makes his heart hurt again and begins to get dressed. You sit up, voice still laced with sleep, “leaving already?”
Junpei’s body stiffens once he hears the sound of your voice.
“Junpei I..”
He merely shakes his head and hurries out of your room as quickly as possible, you try and follow him out but your legs feel so heavy you can hardly walk properly. You’re stumbling out of the room and into the doorway.
“Please! Wait- Junpei!” You call out but he’s already gone, leaving nothing but disappointment in his wake. You can feel the hotness of tears well up behind your eyes as you slump down against the wall, with your knees pulled up to your chest you can do nothing more but cry.

“This week’s movie is…” you paused for the dramatic effect and met each one of your club members’ eyes before pulling out the DVD case from your bag. “Sweet Blossoms!”
Everyone groaned.
“Hey!” you laughed, putting the movie down on the desk. A gorgeous smile tugged at your lips. “It’s my turn so I get to choose!”
“You always choose the worst ones,” your classmate mumbled. “I’m sick of watching romantic comedies. Besides, this is one of the last times we’ll watch a movie in our club.”
Yeah, the graduation was close.
You pouted, giving one person, in particular, the puppy eyes. “Junpei,” you said. “Tell them something, you’re the president.”
Junpei chuckled nervously when you put him on the spot like that. “Haha, I… We made a promise to let one of us choose a movie each week, we should keep our promise.”
“I’m not watching that,” the other club member said. “We’re here to watch movies we appreciate, not whatever dumpster trash you like.”
Although the other two members were being mean, they were right.
“Guys,” Junpei was unsure to say something. He could see how your smile vanished, your shoulders slackened as you flipped the DVD to its back so you wouldn’t need to see the cover title. “It’s her turn to choose.”
“Nevermind,” you uttered, putting the DVD back in your bag. “They’re right. I was being selfish. You can skip my turn.”
“But-”
“Great! I rented Pulp Fiction yesterday and brought it with me.” Your classmate dove his hand inside his bag to fish out the DVD.
Junpei noticed the way your lower lip trembled and you pressing your lips together to hide it. When your gaze met him, you forced a smile on your face, mouthing that it was alright.
You were just like him.
He got up from his seat to sit next to you as your classmate put the movie in the DVD player. It was nothing unusual, most of you sat together to make small comments during a movie.
You pushed your stuff on the desk to the side so he could have some space to put his bag.
“I’m sorry,” he whispered, the movie had already started.
“There’s no reason for you to apologize,” you softly stated, leaning closer to keep your voice down and not disturb the movie. “It was my fault.”
“Still, we gather here to watch movies our members enjoyed. We’re not actual film critics or anything.” He was trying not to lower his gaze to your chest. One of the buttons had come undone on your shirt, he could see your bra. “Next week is my turn, I can rent the movie you wanted to watch so we can watch it. They won’t complain then.”
Your eyes widened and he could swear that he saw them sparkle. A second later, you dropped your gaze to your lap to fidget with your fingers. “Nevermind, it’ll cause trouble. It’s passive-aggressive and I don’t wanna cause trouble for anyone. Nobody wanna watch the movie I chose anyway.”
“I do,” he whispered, cheeks flushing. While you weren’t looking he had gotten a chance to peek inside your shirt.
Lifting your head, you looked up at him with the prettiest and the most genuine smile he had ever seen. “Really?”
He nodded in affirmation, “We can watch it together after school if y-you wanna.”
“Shh!” The oldest club member turned and pointed two fingers at you and then to his eyes. “No flirting in the losers club.”
Both of you got quiet and it took you a long moment before leaning closer to tell Junpei something.
“So, where will we watch the movie?”
That was how he ended up bringing you to his place. You awkwardly sat on his bed and he tried to stop his shaking hands.
“I wish I had a television in my room too,” you said, starting a conversation to ease the mood. “You’re so lucky, Jun!”
Calling him nicknames like that… you were trying to make him delirious. “I-it’s nothing, it’s some old thing I got from second hand.”
“Still!”
He heard a rustling sound. Once he was done with putting the movie in the DVD player, he whipped his head around to check what you were doing.
His breathing almost stopped when he saw you laying on his bed and checking your phone. You were moving your legs up on the air as you scrolled down some social media platform. Your skirt wasn’t long enough to cover the supple flesh of your thighs, they were squished together and because you were laying on your chest, the skirt’s fabric was relaxed on your ass, leaving not much to the imagination.
Junpei gulped audibly and averted his gaze. “The movie.” That was all he managed to say.
You hummed and sat up on his bed as he took a place next to you. He couldn’t understand why you were so careless, didn’t you think of him as a man?
No, you were purely naive. Not at all aware of the real dangers of the world. Not at all aware of what kind of thoughts about you went through his mind every single day.
The movie opened with the female lead who from her first appearance stated that she was the manic pixie dream girl getting some flowers from a secret admirer despite having a boyfriend.
It was simply trash. That was the only way he could describe the storyline or the mood of the movie.  On his own, under any condition, Junpei wouldn’t pick this garbage up and sit through it but since you wanted to watch it… he had to endure it.
You, on the other hand, seemed to enjoy the movie. Hands on your lap, gasping every now and then when the male lead encouraged the female lead to dump her boyfriend with his shitty compliments.
He found it kind of amusing to watch you react to the movie rather than watch it himself. Soon enough his gaze dropped to your lap. Under the skirt were your bare legs and you were sitting on his bed. Your ass was placed on his bed. The thought of your panties touching the sheets of his bed made his thoughts go south. If you got wet right now, you could soak his sheets.
Slowly, you shifted on his bed, getting in a more comfortable position to watch the movie. Unbeknownst to you, he had a better view of your cleavage now, it was only natural that he couldn’t look away. As vulnerable you were, he was still a man and like any other man, Junpei couldn’t stop himself from fantasizing.
What color panties were you wearing? If he lifted your skirt up to check, would you be surprised? You wouldn’t push him away, that was for sure. You came here all on your own after all, laying on his bed like that and looking like this… There was no doubt you were basically inviting him to fuck you.
The credits rolled sooner than he would have wanted.
You stretched your arms over your head and let out a soft groan. “Thank you, Jun.”
“For what?” He got up from his bed to take the DVD out from the player.
“For watching this with me. I’m so lucky to have a friend like you!” A friend, huh? He thought of you more than a friend but you were probably playing hard to get. The two of you were the same, you just had to be embarrassed to admit your feelings for him. Yeah, that had to be it.
“I liked the movie.” Liar. He didn’t watch it.
Silence.
“I should get going,” you sighed, retrieving your bag and jacket from the floor.
By the time you stood up, Junpei was holding the DVD case towards you. “I hope you had fun.”
“I did.” You smiled, taking it from him. “Thank you again.”
Junpei was languidly nodding, lost in his own thoughts.
As soon as you left his room and apartment, Junpei hurried back to his room. Getting on his knees, he pressed his face into the exact spot you sat on for two full hours. He took a deep inhale, filling his lungs to their limit.
So this was your scent.
Unbuckling his belt, he kept inhaling the smell of your pussy absorbed on his sheets. He was already impossibly hard, if it weren’t for the way he was slouching when you were beside him, you would definitely notice.
His hand wrapped around his cock and he stroked it from the base to the tip, using your smell and his own fantasies about you as his material for today.
Oh, how he wished he could smell you directly.
~~~
The next day, he couldn’t look you in the eye during the club meeting to talk about the movie everyone watched yesterday.
While you were debating with the two other members about how although the cinematography and the dialogue were great you didn’t enjoy the excessive amount of cursing.
“You just don’t understand cinema,” one of them grumbled.
“Couldn’t agree more, I mean… Do you even watch anything other than your weird romance movies?” The other one grinned.
“Let’s not take it too far,” Junpei mumbled, his words went unheard.
“I didn’t say anything bad about the movie,” you argued. “It was well written but the dialogue was too vulgar for my taste.”
“And since when do you have taste?”
Laughter.
“Yeah, she’s such a scatterbrained normie.”
“Guys.” Junpei stood up on his seat to stop the hassle.
“At least I’m not a pathetic loser.” It slipped. As if you had been wanting to say it out loud for so long. “You know that this is why nobody likes any of you, right?”
It became silent.
Junpei sat back on his chair and the other two who had been grinning from ear to ear as they were teasing you frowned.
You clapped a hand over your mouth, realizing what you had said but the deed was done.
“Sorry.” Mumbling, you gathered your stuff and left the clubroom.
~~~
Getting bullied wasn’t the worst part. It was the way other people treated him because he was getting bullied.
People looked at him with pity, sometimes talked to him because they wanted to include him. They were all doing these things to feel better about themselves. It was never about him.
He could let the cigarette burns, all the times he got beaten and the countless lies others spread about him slip but not the fake kindness.
He hated the fakes.
~~~
It was two days after the incident when you finally decided to approach Junpei before he exited the school garden.
“Hey, Jun.”
A shiver rose up his spine and he stopped walking momentarily. “(name), good to see you.” He turned around to face you but you were looking down onto the pavement. You didn’t want to look him in the face.
“Yeah...” You took a deep breath to calm your senses before speaking. “I just wanted to apologize for the other day. I didn’t mean any of the things I said.”
He said nothing.
“I’m really sorry about it, I was being bitter because of the way they talked to me but I shouldn’t have reacted that way.”
He proceeded to stay quiet, though you had a lot to say to him, it was impossible to find the courage or the words to speak when he was being like this. However, you came prepared for anything.
Reaching inside your bag, you pulled out a DVD case with a movie title Junpei had been looking forward to watching. You had heard him talk about it nonstop for months until it got released recently. He couldn’t get his hands on the DVD itself because of how the movie was always rented out but now, you were holding it.
“Wanna watch it together? My treat.”
How could he possibly say no?
“Okay.”
Your nerves eased when he put on a smile.
Thankfully, the walk to his place was short. In his room, you took off your jacket and grabbed the DVD case to put it on yourself. “I tipped the cashier a couple of extra bucks to get my hands on this,” you giggled and turned on his television with the remote control, the player lit up instantly.
“You didn’t have to.”
“Well, it’s just my way of apologizing, don’t sweat it!” Pressing the button for the disc slot, you opened the case to grab the CD. “Besides, I wanted to watch this for a long time too.”
He could tell you were lying but he wasn’t sure if you were trying to be nice to him out of pity or not. Gradually, he realized he couldn’t put you in a box. You two were alike. Exactly like him, you didn’t know where you fit in but he started to get an idea about where might fit in just fine.
As you were standing with the remote control in your hands and waiting for the movie title to show up on the screen, a set of hands were placed on your hips, making you flinch.
“Jun?”
Junpei couldn’t help but press himself against you, his hands on your hips moved to your stomach, and grabbed the remote control out of your grasp. He threw the device to the side.
“Jun?” you tried calling him again, not realizing he needed a hug this badly. “Are-are you okay?”
“I’m fine,” he replied, you felt him bury his face into your hair and heard him take a sniff. His hands moved in different ways. One slid up to cup your breast over your shirt and the other slid down your stomach.
“Um, if you wanna hug me, I can face you. This position is… weird....” You merely comprehended that he wasn’t hugging you when his hand soothed the fabric of your skirt and went under it to grab you by your pussy.
Your thighs pressed together at the same time a surprised gasp left your lips. His hand was pushing you towards him as he was pressing against you, urging you to feel everything.
“Wait,” you tried to say, but when his hips snapped forward it broke into another gasp. A finger pressed on your slit over the fabric of your panties, he dragged it up while his hand harshly groped your breast.
“W-what are you doing?”
“What do you think?” Junpei nosed some hair out of his way and placed his lips on your nape, grazing his lips on the sensitive skin before moving to kiss your neck. “I thought you were here to spend time with me.” His teeth nibbled on the thin flesh and your legs turned to jelly.
“B-but the movie.”
Hooking a finger under the elastic on the edge of your panties, he pulled them to the side and let his middle finger slip inside.
“We can watch it later.”
“Jun, wait.” You squirmed and tried to move away from his fingers but you were trapped. If you moved backward you were going to press harder against his erection and moving forward meant his finger going deeper inside you. The latter was the worst option, so you moved your hips away from his hand.
What you hadn’t calculated was the way you were rocking back on forth with Junpei as he was grinding his clothed cock against the soft flesh of your ass. When you pressed yourself against him harder, it didn’t leave any more space for you to move away from his fingers.
Thanks to your dumb decision, Junpei had you right where he wanted.
“You’re so cute, always trying to act smarter than you actually are,” he whispered, lips brushing against your neck. “When you left that day after we watched your stupid movie, I jerked off to you.”
His hand on your breast moved between your bodies and placed on the front of his pants. He tugged them down while drawing small circles on your neck with his tongue and two of his fingers thrust inside your slick heat.
“I shoved my nose into the exact spot you sat to inhale your scent.”
The revelation of what he did after you left made you tremble. His hot and wet tongue pressed flat against the side of your neck and his fingers moving in a scissoring motion distracted you from his free hand guiding his cock between your legs.
“From the moment we met, I knew we were made for each other, (name).”
Nevertheless the awkward positioning, he slipped his fingers out of you and moved to grab your leg from the back of your knee. He lifted your leg until his cock had enough space to move and his hips surged forward.
A panicked sound left your lips when his cock moved between your folds rather than going inside like he had planned.
Before you could struggle, he pulled his hips back and thrust forward, angling his hips in the right direction. This time, it was a success.
Both of you moaned in unison.
Junpei buried his face into your neck and groaned loudly to the sensation of your warm cunt. Your gummy walls were sucking him right in. He couldn’t help slamming his hips into your pussy with a little too much force. You shook in his arms, nearly losing your balance “J-Jun,” you breathed, tone faint. “T-the movie.”
“Is that what you really want right now?” he whispered into your ear, thrusting in your cunt agitatedly.
You wanted to say something and shove him away so the two of you could focus on the movie that was playing on the screen instead but his cock stroked a sweet spot inside made you melt in his hold. You moaned instead, giving him the answer he wanted to hear.
He picked up a pace to fuck into you in a smooth motion and roughly pound into your pussy to steal cute little moans out of you. He was too lost in pleasure to be able to think. All he wanted was to feel your pussy clench around his cock.
His kisses on your neck turned into biting and you felt him lift your leg higher, launching both of you forward when you lost your balance. You managed to hold onto the TV stand while Junpei didn’t let the small accident interrupt him.
Letting go of your leg, he placed his hand on your back and pushed until you arched your back.
Now, he could thrust deeper inside you. Almost frantically, he started hammering his cock into your pussy. The impact caused you to place both hands on the furniture in front of you and hold onto it for dear life. Your clenching walls around him felt heavenly, he couldn’t stop moving his hips.
A shaky moan escaped your lips when the tip of his cock kissed your cervix. Your hands gripped the furniture and your toes curled at the sensation. At some point, your attention suddenly averted to Junpei’s wandering hands pulling your back flush against his chest as every thrust of his hips left you shaking and begging for more.
“J-Jun,” you whined.
He knew exactly what it meant. If he couldn’t tell from the neediness in your voice, he could tell it from the way your gummy walls started pulsating around his cock. Instead of picking up his pace and fucking you like an animal in heat like you thought he would do, Junpei tried to thrust deeper, stroking your sensitive spot with his cock until your vision turned white and you started rocking yourself back on Junpei’s cock. Only then his thrusts became harder, almost as if he wanted to claim you as his only.
“Can I do it inside?” Junpei didn’t need an answer but you gave him one anyway.
“Y-yeah.”
His pace suddenly slackened, he was close to his own orgasm. He pushed his cock in your pussy down to the base and you felt the slight twitch of his balls on your ass as thick spurts of seed filled your womb.
He lowly grunted, continuing to move his hips and fucking his seed into you with disgustingly wet sounds. Your legs started to shake under you, his hands on your hips were the only things keeping you standing up but once he let go of you, the support disappeared. You dropped on the floor, his cum oozed out of you and stained the carpet.
None of you said anything. Not when you were catching your breaths or when you were fixing your clothes.
It took you a full minute before you asked something so utterly idiotic. “Should I go home?”
At that exact moment, he understood why people enjoyed bullying others who were weaker than them.
“I thought you came here to watch the movie with me.” He dared to say.
You stared at him blankly, your gaze slowly turned to the movie that had been playing the whole time and a faint smile tugged at your lips as you reached for the remote control on the other side of the carpet to restart the movie.
~~~
In the next club meeting, Junpei brought the movie you had wanted to watch last week.
Although the other two groaned in unison, they sat through the entire movie once Junpei told them they owed you this.
As for you, watching the movie you had already seen a week ago was boring but the anticipation to watch another new release you had rented with Junpei after school was enough to keep you on the edge.
