i've posted a couple of these here before already, but since its AAPI Heritage Month: here's a few of my fav poems from Essa May Ranapiri's Ransack and Chris Tse's How to be Dead In a Year of Snakes

Day 4 of my birthday week and today's posepack is a very unusual one from me... sports! I have never made a sport pose before in my life, but the inimitable Pr0w0fligate asked for rugby poses and here we are.

Two things: firstly, I don't tend to use references when I make poses, I just create whatever nonsense appears in my head... but I did use photo references for every single one of these poses, which is important for me to note because?? They look insane. But these are all copies of actual rugby photos.

Secondly: Jean Bebe is the love of my life. I needed a bunch of variously muscled Sims to test these with, and as I don't tend to have very muscular Sims in my game, I ran off a bunch of randomly generated ones in CAS. Jean Bebe (his name also randomly generated), he of the curly hair, was one of them and I immediately fell in love with this gentle, sweet himbo. That's all. I just needed to announce my adoration.

Anyway! Pack contains 4 solo poses, 5 paired poses, 1 group of 3, and 2 groups of 4 plus all-in-ones for solo and couple poses. I imagine these can be used for American football too, but although I tried to leave as much gap as possible for extra muscles, I wasn't thinking of the body armour/helmets Americans wear so... they may be clipping.

Poses were made with masc rigs and as always there may be clipping/floating depending on Sim body type and clothing, though they were made with muscular Sims in mind (I used EA sliders and Golyhawhaw's athletic body preset while testing).

What they call you: babe/baby, runt (affectionately)... i cant explain it but he looks like someone who would use sugar every now and then

What they call you: babe, your name. nicknames arent really for her, but if you have anything you want to be called shes open to it!

What you call them: you sometimes call her captain every now and then though its far from the main thing you call her. roxstar is another lighthearted one and you tend to drop it after cheering her up! dorky and dumb name, cant help but get an eye roll from her.. usually though you call her babe or just her name

CHICA

What they call you: if youre masc shes gonna call you a hunk, especially if youre on the muscular side, loads of food based nicknames... cherry pie, honey pie, dumpling, honey bunny, and so on!

What you call them: sweetheart, queen, princess, lover girl, things like that are some of her favorites!

SUN

What they call you: Maybe I'm biased but Starlight Starshine by steam powered giraffe is so dca x reader coded, so naturally and obviously... Sun calls you Starshine! On the flip side he also calls you Sunshine!

What you call them: Love the idea that he's a lover of all things cheesy when it comes to romance, maybe it's the theatre loving side of him that peaks out... something something cliches... call him a sillier nickname and hes going to try to one up you

What they call you: Yoinking from Sun's part, he tends to call you Starlight! Sometimes though he calls you Brat, not in a sexual way, he does it to tease you or get at you when you're being a bit difficult-

What you call them: he likes something thats a little less... generic... and preferably something that doesnt hinge off of what you call sun. matching names are cute and all but he likes having something for himself sometimes.. you sometimes call him bed bug in a similar way people call someone love bug

ynln-official: 2 years together and your smile still has the same effect it did on day one, though we have known each other for longer than I can even remember but the memories we have made through them, I’ll always cherish them. I can’t wait to love you till the end of times (heart emoji) but that doesn’t hide the fact that we were outed, yes we technically work in the media but still it doesn’t give any news site or person to publish an article about someone’s relationship  no matter their sexuality. Outing someone (in any setting) is not acceptable should they be a public figure (adult or not) or a normal person. You opened the fridge to pull out vegetables for the stir fry, you could hear max in the other room working on something. With the vegetables now washed you grab the cutting board and knife to start cutting them up while the chicken defrosted, light music playing in the background as your focus was on the vegetables until someone’s arms wrapped around you making you smirk knowing it was max “I thought we were supposed to cook together” max says as he rested his chin on your shoulder “you were working and dinner was getting late so…” you said turning around in his arms to face him “well what are you making?” he asks as he picks up a green capsicum “just a stir-fry with rice…easy and quick” you say as you turn around again and begin cutting again, you don’t hear a response from him but max putting a wine glass on the counter and you hear a pop , you look at him with an eyebrow raised, he just looks at you before pouring the wine in the glasses “to us telling the world…and to our love” you couldn’t help but laugh a little before raising your glass and take a sip “I love you” you say as max smiled and kissed you softly “I love you too. Now what can I do to help you my love” he asks as he looks at the chicken “anything but the chicken” you shake your head and move from your spot “cut the vegetables” you say as you laugh “be careful of the knife” you add max’s hand touches the blade “I know how to use a knife y/n” he says “yet you are scared of raw chicken”

Light touches and laughter surrounded the two of you for the rest of the night. Though both of you knew the hate would be inevitable but right now nothing mattered to either of them except each other.

You walked towards the front door of the crappy apartment, your fist colliding with the door as you waited for a response. You held the flowers tightly, your nerves growing more the longer your date took to answer. Finally, she opened the door, letting you release a relieved sigh and move in to hug her gently.

“Hi, uh, Y/N, is it?” You chuckled, nodding and handing her the flowers. She looked surprised as if she’d never gotten a gift handed to her like this.

“And you are Natasha, if I’m correct. Otherwise, I might need to ask for those flowers back.” She smiled a genuine smile. You had only met through mutual friends and, while you convinced yourself that you were done with dating, you decided to give it one last shot. There was something about her that just drew you in, even if you had only just seen her picture.

“That’s me. But, please, call me Nat.” You both walked out after she had placed the flowers in a vase, arm in arm.

“So, I hope it’s okay but, I did drive here on my motorcycle. If you don’t want to drive on that I completely understand-” Nat paused in her step, you soon following her as you worried about what would come next.

“You drive a motorcycle?”

“Yeah, is that okay with you?” You meddled about with your fingers and raised a brow at her now smiley, joyful face.

“Are you kidding? I fucking love motorcycles! I actually drive one myself, it’s my baby.” You laughed at her words as you continued to walk, both with a slight pep in your step. You continued listening to her rambles about her pride and joy, her bike. It had been nearly ten minutes and she already had never felt so comfortable with a date, with anyone really.

“So, would you like to ride on the back or walk? It’s only a fifteen-minute walk but, well, I know how much you love your bikes.” She speed-walked over to your ride and led you to follow, it made you laugh knowing she could already guess which one was yours.

“Just hold onto me, Nat.” She gripped your sides softly and rested her head on your shoulder, the cold from the night immediately being replaced by her warmth.

When you both had gotten to the restaurant, you opened the door for her and spoke to the hostess while looking at her for any clarity you might need. She seemed content, and you hoped that meant there was another date in sight. When you both sat down, you pulled the chair out for her and she thanked you.

“So, I want to know,” She said after nearly an hour into your date. It wasn’t boring no matter how long you spoke, even in the silence, it didn’t feel like it needed to be filled.

“Yes?”

“Why is it that you came on this date with me? I mean, Tony told me how you kept saying no to everyone until he showed you a picture of me, why?” You sighed, chugging down the small amount left of your wine before giving a tight-lipped smile.

“Well, I guess you were just very attractive, and the way Tony described you just made me want to get to know you better.” She laughed, eying you with suspicion before you followed suit to her noise.

“It’s true!”

“You are so holding back! C’mon, I want to know the real reason.” You hadn’t told many people, but for some reason, you felt comfortable with her. You felt like you could tell her the truth and she wouldn’t judge you or block you afterward.

“I guess I just, I don’t know, I guess I just didn’t want to date anyone for a while at the time. I had recently gotten out of a five-year relationship and Tony knew that, of course, he did.” She cut you off with a quick, ‘I’m so sorry’. You could tell she felt bad for asking now hearing only part of your story, but you didn’t blame her one bit.

“Don’t be. We, uh, we got engaged three and a half years in and I thought she was the one, I really did. That was until I found out she was screwing around with her boss behind my back. Then we broke up and I just felt like I was nothing without her. I wasn’t able to sleep for months because I was so used to having my arms around her, and I isolated myself to the point I lost most of my friends. But Tony didn’t give up on me, he can be annoying at times but he truly is the greatest friend you’ll ever have. And that was about a year ago so he would try and set me up with people he knew, but none of them really stood out to me, and then I saw you. You looked absolutely stunning, you really did. And even tonight you look, like, astonishing, it’s crazy. But it wasn’t just the looks that drew me in, it was your smile. I could tell you were a total sweetheart with the kindest soul and, while Tony didn’t describe you all that well, I just knew I couldn’t miss this opportunity. God, you should’ve seen the look on his face when I agreed, I think he was finally starting to run out of women in his phone.” Her eyes were glossy with tears as she looked down at her drink, thanking all the Lords that she didn’t bail on you. You weren’t like the others who were just looking for sex, you truly wanted to know her for her.

“I…I’m truly at loss for words, Y/N. No one’s ever said those things to me.” You looked at her like she had just told you she murdered someone. And while she didn’t say that, she’d have to save that conversation for another time.

“Are you kidding? Jesus, what assholes. How could someone not fall in love with you the second they meet you?”

“Are you insisting that you’re in love with me already?” She remarked playfully and reached her hand across the table to grasp yours.

“Hm, I don’t know, am I?”

“Maybe that’s something we’ll have to discuss on a second date?” She asked with a small sense of hopefulness in her voice. She really did want to see you again, she felt like she was already drawn to you after one night.

“Maybe it will be.”

You two were both walking to the bike, hand in hand, grins covering both of your faces. Your cheeks had been hurting with how often she’d pull a smile from you, but you weren’t complaining and neither was she.

“You know, you said you thought my smile was beautiful, but I really think yours is so captivating.” She said once both of you had taken place on the motorcycle. You looked back at her over your shoulder and shook your head happily.

“Well, thank you, Nat, but I don’t think it’s anywhere near as precious as yours.”

“Just take the damn compliment!” The two of you drove home in peace. There wasn’t much talking, but it wasn’t exactly easy to do with the loud engine. Nat clung onto you, hoping she wouldn’t have to let go. But, as always, the time came quickly and the next thing she knew you were walking her up the stairs to her apartment. Your arm wrapped around hers as your hands were interlaced with one another.

“You didn’t have to walk me all the way up here, you know.”

“But what if I wanted to?”

“Well, then I guess I can’t really argue with that, now can I?” Her door was right in front of you now and you two stood across from one another with barely any distance between you. Your eyes couldn’t strain away from her plump lips as you imagined what it’d be like to feel them against yours. She was no better, admiring your body up and down as she stopped at your lips.

“Kiss me, baby.” You did as asked and brought your mouth forward, feeling her hands come to your chest to rest on you. She sighed happily into the kiss, it had been so long since a kiss held more than just a quick fuck.

“You think I’ll be able to see you again?” She asked with uncertainty.

“Of course, you will. Besides, it wouldn’t be long until I needed to see you again as well.” She had started to open her door until something stopped her, how could she have forgotten?

“Uh, one more thing. I’m…I’m an avenger. And, well, that comes with many risks and many hours spent dedicated to my work. If we’re going to make this work I want you to know that I won’t always be free.” She thought this might’ve been the deal breaker like it usually was with anyone else, but no, you didn’t give her a weird glace or walk away, you stayed.

“And I wouldn’t expect you to be. I’ve seen how committed Tony is to being Iron Man so, trust me, I wouldn’t expect you to stop working just for me.” And with a quick hug and a kiss on her cheek, you left. She watched out the window as you drove away, hearts nearly bubbling in her eyes.

“Well, Liho, I hope you had as fun of a night as I did with your turkey bowl.” Were cats even allowed to have turkey? She didn’t know, but what she did know was that you’d receive a text from her very soon and that Liho might have another parent in the future besides Nat, who could already tell Liho was sick of her.

Dale most definitely does not believe in gender roles, but I don't think he'd make a big deal out of it either. He's more like "oh cool" and he probably feels more at home expressing himself around someone who is androgynous. Might even start copying your looks or trying to get you to wear some of his. I know there are some Nonbinary folks that are masc and fem leaning, so he'd copy looks from both. Fem leaning, and he'd expect you to do his makeup too.

Give him pronouns you like to go by, and he'll be happy to oblige you. (Although when you tell him there's a 99% chance he'll already know because he's obsessed with you and needs to know everything about you). I can't see Dale ever misgendering anyone, once you tell him the pronouns he is locked tf in. Dale is the type to get angry on your behalf if someone misgenders you. He'll go out of his way to be a total passive aggressive bitch to them. Good or bad, it's just what he does.

His pet names for you wouldn't really change. He'd still mostly use "Angel" unless you were uncomfortable with it, whereas he still wouldn't fucking care. Otherwise depending on how comfortable with other gendered nicknames, he'd probably steer clear of them.

Be prepared for a lot of questions because I think he would be very interested in how you figured out you were Nonbinary. I think he would be interested in trying the waters himself or is just genuinely curious and enjoys listening to you. He probably would like to talk through the process to see if it matches up to his experiences and how he feels about wanting to be androgynous and his perspective of gender.

He's probably very proud of you for realizing and having the courage to come out (either to him or in general) proud and perhaps a little bit jealous that you're so secure in your identity. MY TIME HAS COME YEAAAAAA- Now I can ramble about my Janus hcs

Prefacing this with my transmasc nb janus agenda. They arent as built or masc-looking as I usually draw them during PDH-era.

They also got braces and a binder.

To start off, I imagine Janus transferred to PhoenixDrop High around the time Zane was starting his gang.

Early on, Janus got labled as someone you don't want to mess with or affiliate with. Although half of the stuff was rumors.

Often times you'd find him in the student services office (or the equivalent) when he's supposed to be in class.

Nevertheless Janus isn't a horrible student or person. They have difficulty reading but they have a great memory for visual and verbal lessons. And even if they are supposed to be sitting in the office as a punishment, they at least try to help out faculty with copy runs or organization. They like to be productive with their time.

I think it would be silly if Janus and Zane met during a science class like Chem or Bio bc they're lab partners. They get aquainted bc Zane actually explains stuff in a way Janus can understand and remember.

Even if the reason is mostly bc Zane doesn't want to risk getting snapped in half like a pretzel log by a guy who allegedly fistfought their PE teacher...and won.

However they actually start becoming real friends shortly after. Janus invites Zane to his hockey matches, Zane invites Janus over for videogames, etc. Teenager stuff.

I think the main reason Janus went along with Zane's gang idea is bc he thinks people underestimate Zane's potential as an individual (like what the Shadow Knights did, just kept brushing him off as a cringe nerdy kid n stuff) and it sucks when your friend isn't taken seriously as others as you do them.

And so, Janus is happy to be the bite to back up Zane's bark. If it means Zane gets taken as seriously as they themself are, Janus doesn't mind getting in an extra fight or two.

Not to mention, the friendship isn't entirely one-sided. Janus has his deal of emotional turmoil and bad days too. Teachers or alpha-wannabes talking down to them, antagonizing, or being overall disrespectful and the occasional bout of just general bad vibes. Zane's there for him or at least tries to be when he can't in his own Zane way.

Probably skipping a class to just sit under the bleachers, let Janus rant and cry without judgement. Maybe lets them nap and wakes them up when next period is about to start.

Do I hc them as having a relationship at one point in time? Yes. Do i have an idea of when that is? Not really lol

for future reference, here is where i drew some drag king natsumi + sapphic ottosuba :) i definitely plan on making more genderbend au content in the future thats for sure! :o i have another older art post on this here also (i am. too lazy to find it rn but its there somewhere!!) but i have some in depth thoughts about fembaru for sure yes :3 ty for finding my genderbend ideas interesting!! :D !! id be happy to talk about them more :o

im gonna start with outward design stuff / gender presentation first!! :D bc in my head, afab subaru probably looks almost exactly the same. in general, canon subaru’s most likely at least a little androgynous (and i think he probably is judging off of how much he passes as the opposite sex!!), and we know hes got his dad’s spiky black hair and his mom’s mean eyes and general facial shape, has a long torso, that sort of thing, so i think afab subaru would look similar :o

plus i like to treat fembaru as basically just the mirror/foil/inverse of canon amab subaru anyway, so yep natsumi schwartz is gonna be her male persona!! canon amab subaru was mistaken as a girl when he was a child, and he also went to high school (iirc it was high school but at the very least he was about the same age he is during arc 1) for three days as natsumi yes and passed for three days. iirc he would put on the girl’s uniform and wig and stuff on the way to school and out of his parents’ view and then put on the male uniform and take off the wig before he got home!! plus you know he’d generally practice makeup most likely and wig styling and all sorts of things in private.

so definitely afab subaru is doing similar stuff but in the opposite direction now—looking more masc and presenting as a boy. while amab subaru can put on and take off a wig, in my head, afab subaru would probably have to have shorter hair. so one day she just got a haircut thats short enough to where she could style it masculinely but longer enough to where it could still be kinda considered feminine enough!!

im not 100% sure how to draw her hair yet but in my earlier post and a few of my sketches it kinda looks like either a long mullet/wolfcut or a messy bob :3 i think you could probably say that her hair looks more like a wacky bob when shes more feminine and a wolfcut when shes styling it more masculinely?

i also base my fembaru design off of canon natsumi!! with the side bang (though i sometimes draw it on the wrong side akdnd)!! meanwhile fembaru’s male natsumi would have canon amab subaru’s hair :) (which you can see in my earlier post as well!!)

anyway otherwise in general, i also like the idea that over the course of each arc in the fantasy world, subaru grows her hair out!! and once its long enough she can put it into a ponytail like her mom again :,)))

OKAY and now im gonna talk about more character stuff!! lets talk about subarus whole thing with isekai and genre savviness and all that.

one of canon subaru’s many many Many parts making him up as a character and making up his story in general is a deconstruction of the isekai genre!! power fantasy and characters being cardboard cutouts for the male mc to triumph without a struggle—that sort of thing. but afab subaru is a female lead now, and female isekai is different.

id have to do way more research into this and watch more female isekai and shoujo and stuff (ive been Really wanting to watch im in love with the villainess…… someday i will…..). buuut from what ive noticed so far it seems like for male lead isekai the fantasy here is the Power and Prestige, but female lead isekai’s fantasy seems to be the Romance!! not that you cant have OP abilities in female lead isekais and not that every isekai is 100% the same of course. but that seems to be the common tropes from what ive seen so far? male isekai protags have girls throwing themselves at him as trophies, female lead isekais have their male romantic interests and the evil evil villainesses are defeated somehow and perfectly out of the way <3 the fantasy is that youll be loved by The One—the perfect boy(s) <3

and i think amab subaru is less likely to check out much female lead isekai but i think itd be fun if afab subaru would probably focus on female lead isekai but also a bit on male lead isekai as well!! she wants that absolute path to glory AND love. i want arc 3 to still be an absolute fucking disaster with fembaru. let fembaru be flawed and ugly!!!! so in my au thoughts here itd be like. subaru feels jealous and threatened by lots of people. emilia, though its subsided a bit after becoming friends and after learning a bit more abt emilia as a person. but also i think subaru could feel so so jealous of the royal candidates!! esp crusch priscilla anastasia even though subaru will 1000% think theyre bitches at first during arc 3. bc theyre such strong determined women who seem way more confident than subaru herself is…. and also im sure there’ll be complex thoughts from her on felix too bc crossdressing… gender presentation… is a complex thing for subaru.

and subaru with julius is like. “get away from emilia!!!! shes mine!!! shes MY best friend that im homoerotically codependent on and obsessive of!!!! and also youre just trying to steal reinhard’s ikemen male lead spot huh!!!!! bastard!!!! (i hate that youre so pretty too)” and everything of course blows up in subaru’s face. im sure at some point in the story subaru might get slutshamed for having all these connections to people and romantic threads (especially since shes afab) but also its like. wow shes such a stupid girl lol causing a racket.

and uh being a man beating up a girl looks a little worse due to gender roles and stuff but lot of the knights are still gonna want to go after subaru and julius is still gonna want to save subaru. :,,)))) arc 3 emisuba breakup….. worlds worst sapphic breakup of all time…. and later rem will be the one that got away also :(((((

but yeah i think in general this subaru’s connections would be a little more. subtexty with the girls bc she’d be more hesitant to be explicit. but a bit more explicit with the guys bc itll be easily perceived as romantic in and out of universe. and of course subaru i think will be flustered in different ways between the girls vs guys—with the girls its OHH GOD I CANT BE GAY I CANT BE GAY NOOOOO I HAVE A RIVALRY!!! Possibly? Maybe? Schrodinger's relationship blues.

but subarus afab now!! and ottos still a guy!!! and reinhard and julius are friendly with subaru right, but at around arc 4 things they dont show explicit romantic interest. (i think arc 5-6+ julisuba and juliemisuba would be 👀👀👀 though.) but otto?? in a universe where subaru is a girl??? well now its more acceptable for him to be grow openly head over heels for subaru. but also its probably also more pathetic bc now its probably gonna be more obviously taken by others as otto having a Romantic crush on subaru. regardless of whatever otto's feelings are.

and subarus had her arc 3 development right. but here its like. you wanted a male character who’d fall in love with you and be loyal to you and do Anything for you???? here you go!!! but also given otto is Like That and gets worse by arc 7-8 i think hes gonna seem a bit more sinister. not that canon otto with canon subaru isnt sinister but theres different connotations to male otto paired with female subaru. bc it sort of follows straight dark romance rules, right, with the cunning possessive male love interest and the female protagonist…

i doubt anything explicit would go on between otto and subaru in an au like this bc 1. otto and his avoidant attachment LMFAO and 2. subaru and her issues also and 3. subaru in main route is Not as into otto to the same extent or degree otto is HAH.

“was that the last one?” asked his personal assistant, as y/n shifted on the chair the photographs were being taken “yes…I’m again so sorry for not knowing how many photoshoots they were going to do” y/n got up and walked to the makeup table to get his makeup removed “no I get it, i’ll be travelling in a few days so it will be hard to get photoshoots done” he waves it off with a soft sigh ready to go back to the comfort of home, should the home be a place or a person. Y/n couldn’t wait to be home

Unlocking the door to their house, Y/n entered, his body filled with exhaustion from the long day of back-to-back photoshoots. The familiar scent of eucalyptus and lavender greeted him but the house seemed silent, a little too silent and empty.

“hey, love?” y/n called out as he removed his jacket and removed his shoes. There was no response, just the soft hum of the house. A soft sigh left y/n’s lips as he made his way to the bedroom before shedding his clothes and throwing them in the laundry basket. The warm water hitting his face couldn’t help but make him get into the shower quicker, the hot water now cascading down his body felt like a blessing, the day’s exhaustion and tiredness now felt like a warm hug.

Emerging from the shower, feeling a little rejuvenated but there was still a longing and want for the warmth of his partner, he pulled on one of Lewis’ hoodies and walked out of the bedroom to the living room and sighed as he felt how empty it was. Though his ears were quick to pick up the jingle of keys his eyes quickly snapping to the front door. Lewis is back.

Quickly y/n walked near the front door as Lewis entered, his headphones on with a smile plastered on his lips as roscoe trotted in behind him, tail wagging furiously.

"Hey, love, I'm home!" Lewis called out, his voice filled with excitement after he saw y/n’s shoes by the door, only to notice y/n standing there in his hoodie. Y/n couldn’t help but smile softly at the sight of his boyfriend who walked towards him “hey, love” he repeated again, this time holding the bag of pastries up "I thought you might need a little pick-me-up." Y/n’s tired eyes lit up at the sweet gesture “what did I do to deserve you lew?” y/n said as he hugged lewis who laughed and kissed y/n’s forehead gently “I think I’m the one who needed you” lewis whispered before pulling away “now how bout you go pick a movie get comfortable and I’ll bring these out after getting on something…more relaxing” lewis says as y/n doesn’t remove his arms from around lewis “but I wanna cuddle” y/n says tiredly to which lewis replies “we will cuddle while watching something” y/n nodded with an exaggerated pout which made lewis shake his head and laugh at his boyfriend’s antics.

Y/n settled against the couch, tv remote in his hand waiting for lewis. Roscoe who was resting on the single sofa perked up as he saw lewis enter, in a new pair of clothes, and the bag of your favourite bakery with two plates “not this movie again y/n/n” lewis says as he sits on the couch before opening in his arms so y/n could cuddle closer “it a cinematic masterpiece lew, it's not my fault you don’t have a good taste in movies” y/n shrugs as he opens the box and serves himself and lewis with a pastry “we watched it last week” lewis says while dismissing the comment about his taste in movies as he runs his hand through y/n’s hair gently who looks at him after taking a bite of the pastry “cause its-first off all these pastries are fucking amazing” y/n’s says as he throws his head back resting it on Lewis’ arm “yeah I know, it’s your favourite bakery baby” 

Y/n smiled and looked lewis who himself was looking fondly at y/n “thankyou-but anyways this movie is just THE best movie out there and you can’t tell me otherwise, I’m ready to die on that hill if it’s the last hill I climb” y/n says with a cheeky smile before hitting play as lewis shook his head whilst looking at the person who brought immense happiness and joy to his life, he couldn’t imagine for a moment being without y/n. Y/n was the light to his life.

So uh, what is the best way to tell people my pronouns (freinds who know I'm genderfluid) in casual convo or something?

Also how do you know what pronouns to use that day??? one time in the middle of the night I was full blown He/Him all the WAY. Wake up and I am no where near that and have no clue what's happening but it ain't masc.

It really all depends on how subtle you want to be:

If your friends are attentive people, you could just use your pronouns in a phrase and let your friends pick up on it. You could also tell them to generally pay attention to the pronouns you use for yourself and just copy that.

A quick heads-up at the beginning of the day (or whenever your pronouns change) can go a long way! E.g.: "Hey, I'm using he/him today! Anyways, I wanted to tell you about this thing!"

Visual clues! You could for example make bracelets with certain colors, each color being assigned a pronoun (e.g. purple=she/her, green=they/them, blue=he/him). That way your friends have an easy clue they can follow that others don't have to know about. If you are comfortable, you could also wear pronoun pins.

As for your other question, I think it's really individual. I personally don't fluctuate that much between pronouns, and I always use any pronouns, so this isn't really something I deal with. But I've heard from other genderfluid people to just try them out to yourself. Refer to yourself with different pronouns, and see which one makes you feel the most euphoric in the moment (or which one makes you the most uncomfortable is a good clue as well!).

You might also realize the answer spontaneously from reacting positively/negatively to the way other people refer to you. There is really no guide on how to know your pronouns, just take your time and don't get too caught up on it. Just use whichever pronouns feel the best in the moment, and if they suddenly change then that's fine too <3

🛶: I do! I’m copy-pasting from another post, but I have a DR where I’m part of a nonbinary idol group called ‘N.B’. The group has five members, ranging in age from 21 to 30, and all of us typically present neutrally but we fluctuate between feminine and masculine too. The five of us work with smaller artists to develop our albums, plus each member has an album dedicated to their personal music preference mixed with pop. We’re globally popular across age groups and genders, and we probably have fan blogs dedicated to the femme and masc versions of ourselves. I haven’t even finished the script yet, but I’m excited. I wonder what this will do for my fear of publicly dancing/singing in my CR.

💍: Generally speaking, I have S/Os that I intend to marry, but I haven’t experienced it yet. That won’t stop me from taking this chance to talk about them though!

In my zombie apocalypse DR, Orion, I originally had 12 wives (and Remus is our husband). I’m not sure if I should add them back to my script atm. I didn’t include all the faceclaims because I don’t remember the t.o.s and I don’t want to be flagged, but-

Carina is a botanist and gardener who takes care of our current greenhouse. She somehow manages to spoil Hana more than I do, and almost all the rest of us spoil Carina too.

Daphne is a MMA trainer with a passion for picking fights with the Helvigs. Felix falls for her taunts quite easily. She keeps all of us in shape and all of us have to be trained by her.

Ivy is a mechanical-electrical engineer and was actually my girlfriend in college before we were separated, thought each other dead, and I met Remus. We were in a band together in college, we both love mechanical-electrical engineering and music.

Circe was a lawyer before the apocalypse, now she’s taking this free time to study more branches of law while we go over what the new society should look like.

Aaliyah is an investigative journalist and radio personality, she also has a radio show. She set it up after the apocalypse, since she had nothing else to lose anyway.

Sylvie is an assassin. Is, not was. But since we don’t really have people we want assassinated, she’s basically retired. When she’s not training or helping Daphne train us, she’s lounging. She can be really intense with her eye contact, but I love that about her.

Valentina was a logistician that’s currently helping to handle our supply distribution. She and her twin brother are typically fighting, but he lives with us because they’re inseparable after what happened during the apocalypse.

Lucia was an architect, now she’s using her education and skills for some urban planning. She loves having something to sip on (as an oral stim, not alcoholism), so she often has a glass in her hand. She’s super giggly and she’s tied with Carina for most spoiled because we can’t seem to help it.

Nadia’s educated and trained as an ethicist, but she prefers beekeeping. Hana prefers it too, since the honeycomb from Nadia’s hives are perfect for her sweet tooth. When she’s smoking, her personality completely flips and she loosens up.

Adele is a general surgeon that would love to not be working, but the Helvigs like putting her to work. Even with super healing, we still need things taken out, aligned, etc.

Jade was a psychologist. She was working towards her own private practice before the apocalypse, now she has her hands full with us. But she’s considering training people to be counselors to take on some of the work.

Yasmin is a political historian that was working as an archivist, books and research are part of her special interests. She’s super easy to get gifts for, since she loves old books and the apocalypse happened and everything.

Other than them, I don’t have solid plans to marry in most of my other DRs. My only other husband would be…

🫶: HANA To be honest? My CR little sister who shows up in about half of my scripts as my little sister. If not her, then Juliet Starling, who is my opposite aesthetic best friend in my Lollipop Chainsaw DR.

🐶: Yeah! Not many, though. In several witch DRs, I have a white Burmese Python named Velvet. She’s just a baby and she’s the sweetest thing. She’s my familiar, so she helps me with my magic, protects me, and we have a psychic connection that allows us to communicate. This is what she looks like at only four months.

I also have a Bernese Mountain dog named Titan. Technically, he used to be Remus’ trained dog, but the hard truth is that he just likes us better lol
