Hey, for any of my little sibs trying to learn to eat salads/vegetables but running into a lot of unhappiness/failure/sensory issues, I recently started learning to eat veggies after a lifetime of struggling due to autism and sensory issues, and I have some tips that I’ve collected along the way!
Forget all about the “healthiest varieties” or “most nutritional salads” elitism.
A lot of that talk is based on bogus science or half-truths to begin with, but even for anything that’s true, you’re trying to eat in a way that is sustainable for you. You don’t need to be like anybody else. If you like iceberg lettuce, screw the people who say “well that doesn’t have any nutritional value”. It’s fiber and roughage if nothing else! You like a lot of dressing or add ins and people tell you that isn’t a real salad/isn’t a healthy salad? It’s more vegetables than no vegetables! It gets the greens in your body! Do your thing, you don’t deserve guilt (external or internal) for figuring out your own path.
This is about habit forming and breaking bad associations to form better ones.
Think of this as practice! I eat salads nearly daily when available because I genuinely look forward to them now, but I used to want to retch at just the thought of salad. When I used to think of salads, I always thought of being a kid and trying not to gag while forcing sensory hell so that adults wouldn’t get mad at me. It was punishing for me, and it took a lot of gentle work to change that association! So if you hate salads, really try to identify why. Are they bland and tasteless to you? Conversely, are the bitter flavors too strong? Is it a textural thing? Do you have some highly negative experiences with them in the past?
Don’t force yourself to keep trying something you know you hate.
I personally can’t stand a lot of “ultra healthy” salads that have a lot of different textures/flavors mixed in, and years of trying to suffer through salads like that never made me like them more. Back to the first point again, forget about what you’re “supposed” to be eating and eat what you find the least repulsive tbh.
The greens you choose can make a massive difference, so try a lot of different things!
This is especially important if texture or flavor is an issue for you. Personally I find iceberg lettuce the “easiest” because it has a very mild taste. I started out my adventures in learning to eat salad eating EXCLUSIVELY iceberg lettuce. Butter lettuce or romaine (especially romaine hearts) are others that are popular for being pretty palatable, and I’ve come to love them! And you don’t even HAVE to have lettuce! You can have cabbage, beets, carrots, whatever! Pick a vegetable you like and search for salad recipes using it!
Find a dressing you really like and drench that bad boy if you need to!
Some people really like ranch, or poppyseed dressing, or vinaigrettes, or even sweet dressings with honey and fruit! You can use mustard or honey in dressings! Look up different types of salad dressings and try them all out if you want. Personally, I really like zingy dressings like Italian vinaigrettes or blue cheese, but everyone’s different. You can make a lot of dressings at home, too, and if you have the stuff already it can be a cheap way to find what you like. I know dressing freaks some people out, but referencing my very first point again; some salad is way better than no salad. You may even eventually find yourself able to use less and less once you’re more accustomed to eating salad! So use as much as you need, whether it’s just for now or forever.
Toppings! Salads are allowed to be goodies with obstacles!
Use a protein like chicken or fish (I like tuna a lot) or crumbled bacon, use croutons, hummus, little cubes of cheese or shredded cheese, sliced hard boiled eggs, whatever! If there’s vegetables that you know you like, put those in! I love some sliced cucumber or shredded carrots in my salads. Some people do nuts like almonds or cashews in their salads, some people use chickpeas and corn from a can, and if you’re feeling super adventurous you can try some fruit to sweeten things up! If you like variety then mix warm foods and cold foods, creamy textures and crunchy textures! Make it totally your own. Personally, I’ll sometimes eat around my croutons so that once I’ve eaten all of my greens I have a big, crunchy reward. There’s no rules for how you have to eat something!
Conversely, be as simple as you need to be.
If you need to get used to salads by eating just iceberg lettuce and ranch for a while, you don’t need to be embarrassed! You don’t have to throw the kitchen sink at your salad, even if that’s what helps some others! This is about what works for you.
Don’t be afraid to have salad ingredients… not as a salad!
You can make a green smoothie by blending ingredients if texture is your big issue! Or make a fruit smoothie with some spinach or lettuce thrown in to help you ease into it. Or try dicing up some lettuce, cabbage, and a preferred vegetable or two (avocado, bell pepper, tomato, or cucumber would all work!). Drizzle that with a generous amount of dressing or sauce, and you can use it as a chip dip! Tortilla chips work especially well for this. Or maybe make a vegetable wrap in an actual tortilla? Or throw some chopped up vegetables in your next soup. Even if it’s as simple as putting some lettuce, carrots, or tomatoes into a sandwich, that’s awesome too!
Even outside of salads, experiment with texture for vegetables!
You can roast most vegetables on a sheet pan in the oven (or in an air fryer) for a crispy and crunchy experience! Or you can boil or steam them on a stovetop (or in the microwave) to different levels of softness; you can get most vegetables pretty mushy with enough time, if crunchy textures are hard for you! Looking up vegetarian versions of your favorite meat-including dishes can sometimes also offer great ideas for getting different textures out of vegetables! Try everything that you think you might like: grilling, griddling, roasting, steaming, boiling, sautéing, braising, stir frying, and blanching (which also helps reduce bitterness!) are all different methods to look into, and different methods have different results with different vegetables!
Big takeaway…
Be patient and kind with yourself. Working through food aversions is hard. The goal is gently pushing/testing your boundaries and expanding your comfort zone, NOT forcing yourself. Forcing yourself into extreme discomfort, distress, or pain typically only makes aversions worse! So it’s in your best interest to be patient and go as slowly as you need to. Be proud of yourself for trying, and don’t let anyone (including yourself) make you feel shame for doing what you can.
And obligatory disclaimer:
Please don’t get discouraged if none of these tips work for you! This isn’t an exhaustive list, and I’m not any kind of professional. This is just a mix of tips I’ve seen online, and what worked for myself and my own sensory issues, and I’m still learning more about myself all the time! If you’re struggling, there’s still more out there! You can achieve your goals, I believe in you. 💖

I’ve been watching a lot of Nutrition by Kylie on youtube and she’s got this cool idea about adding instead of subtracting. Basically instead of worrying about cutting out certain foods or feeling guilty about eating anything, to just eat what you want and to make it nutritionally complete. So chocolate could be melted and eaten with a banana and some seeds for fibre and protein as well as the sugar. Craving tackled but not hungry again straight after and less guilt! I think it really helps to prevent binges because you don't feel like a failure afterwards. Its helping me a lot anyway. I’ve been using frozen chicken breasts, peas and eggs a lot for this, since they're easy to add to practically anything. I just microwave the chicken and it cooks really fast. Its so nice to not have to think about cutting out bread, pasta or potatoes to get control and lose weight. Do definitely need to buy more sweet potatoes, wholewheat pasta, and wholegrain rice tho. And see if theres a lower glycemic index type of dried oats...

How should the progress of physical literacy be observed and recorded under the conditions of our new, unhealthy societal habits? Due to the constant changes in our society, physical literacy is becoming a popular, yet complex concept to live by. People across the globe are becoming more aware of physical literacy, specifically because of the current obesity crisis. Our society is finally realizing the lack of physical activity in the average human’s everyday life; however, it is not just physical activity that we are lacking. Our society is unaware of how important it is to take care of yourself, whether it’s your mental or physical health. Working at my university’s recreation center, I, along with my colleagues and patrons, are very familiar with the concept of physical literacy and deal with health and wellness every day. I think that everyone should be as educated about physical literacy as the people that I work with. Considering the social changes our society has been through over the past couple of decades, we need to be more knowledgeable about and perform physical literacy.
About two years ago I started educating myself on physical literacy. I have always been active, participating in multiple sports year-round, but I never really took it upon myself to look further into health and fitness. My first step was asking my parents for a gym membership. Walking into the gym for the first time was extremely intimidating. I was surrounded by toned and muscular adults, drinking their fruit punch flavored pre-workout in shake BlenderBottle®’s, but instead of backing out, I learned my way around the gym. I tested new machinery that I have never seen before. I watched videos of fitness enthusiasts to help me familiarize myself with the strange equipment and movements. After many trial and errors, I finally found a workout routine that worked for my body. Before the gym, I absolutely hated running; however, after planning my new routine, I discovered different ways to implement cardio into my workout without having to run a mile or two. Having these different movements and routines made me enjoy taking care of my body. Throughout this process, I started to feel more positive about myself and life in general. I was much happier and less stressed than before I started my journey. What made me love the gym even more was seeing results. Running at soccer practice felt completely different. I was able to push myself much harder. I no longer dreaded going to practice, partially because I didn’t eat a box of pizza rolls doused in hot sauce right before practice. Even my coaches recognized my hard work and faster speed. I think other students need to hear that change is possible. If you dedicate yourself to taking the time to get to know, push, and discipline yourself, changes, for the better, will happen.
There are many different definitions of physical literacy, but they all have the same concept. Overall, physical literacy is the foundation of a healthy life. The development of physical literacy starts at a young age. Children start to learn and develop physical literacy once they start attending school, as early as preschool and or kindergarten. PE majors and teachers, exercise science majors, like health and fitness instructors, and other health and wellness academic fields must be very knowledgeable about the concept. In this case, we are talking about the fundamental movements of your body, and concepts like having confidence within yourself. In the article, “Physical literacy in the field of physical education – A challenge and a possibility,” Lundvall mentions Whitehead’s first definition of physical literacy discusses the idea of “physical performance aspects of movement that enable a particular goal to be achieved, or elements of movement that need attention” (114). Part of physical literacy is understanding that your body has limits and acknowledging those limits. Physical literacy helps humans, not just athletes, recognize their body’s boundaries. As you get older, your body starts to not work as well. Everyday activities, like walking up and down stairs, can become difficult, so it is very important to know your body’s limits.
Along with physical literacy, eating habits are developed during one’s childhood. According to the authors of the first cited article, “A multilevel intervention...,” a little over a quarter (29% to be exact) of preschool students in Canada eat the recommended amount of fruits and vegetables and only 23% eat the recommended amount of grains (2). Children not intaking the right source of food will cause them to not be as physically strong and less fit. The lack of greens and grains could also lead to obesity, which could cause them to be insecure and less confident with the pressures that come from social media. This snowball affect issue all starts with the parents and guardians of the children. After all, they are the ones that provide their child with the food they take in. If parents are providing their children with food that is not nutritional for their child, they are inheriting these bad habits from their parents. Sure, eating some candy or out at a restaurant occasionally, is fine, but is it taking over your child’s diet?
Our society’s younger generations have established different values and habits than those that are older. Children don’t have play dates in the backyard with their best friend from school. Nowadays, children will spend their entire day inside, their eyes glued to a screen, playing video games, eating Doritos. Sometimes I think back to my childhood and compare my everyday live to children today. On occasion, I will babysit my five-year-old cousin, Jonah. He is constantly on his iPad, watching YouTube videos or playing games. I’ll give him some credit, every so often he’ll ask to go outside and jump on the trampoline, but it’s not the same. When I was Jonah’s age, my friends and I would go in the backyard, run around on the swing set, and play hide and seek. If we spent time inside, we didn’t spend much time with technology. We’d watch an episode of SpongeBob or two, then go play “house” or Polly Pockets. Our world revolves around technology and it’s effecting our children.
The unhealthy habits and routines that our younger generations are developing will take over for the rest of their lives and can even cause them to become obese or overweight. According to A Healthier America, 17 percent of children in the United States struggle with obesity and “one in three children are either overweight or have obesity” (“Facts About Child Obesity,” 2019). These statistics are at an all-time high.
As I’ve grown up, I noticed that throughout my own childhood, I myself developed unhealthy eating habits. As I explained before, almost every day after school, I would come home and make a plate of pizza rolls or nachos. This then transitioned over to my freshman and sophomore year of high school. It was even worse in high school because right after I had my afterschool heart attack snack, I would go straight to soccer practice, where I would then run a mile, huffing and puffing. In middle school, I would sneak bags of chips or pieces of candy to my room and go to town for the night. These awful habits were obviously in my hands; however, it was all developed from my family. Even though I was very active as a child, I still had these influences of eating unhealthy amounts of and types of food. My parents, along with my aunts and uncles, have always been big eaters and not so active. It just goes to show you that parents should take a step back, look at their diet, and take their child into consideration. Would you want your child to be eating what you’re eating? Or thinking back to physical activity. Would you want your child to have the same habits that you have?
Social media has placed an enormous amount of pressure on children, teenagers, and young adults. Once a celebrity is photographed, the photo is uploaded to the internet, where everyone can see, and makes young adults feel the need to look like this celebrity because they have the ‘perfect body.’ What these young adults don’t know is that most, if not all, of these pictures are photoshopped. Most people looking at their favorite celebrities through social media feel insecure and less confident about their own bodies. Social media doesn’t just influence the everyday person to change themselves due to seeing others uploading edited photos. Social media encourages viewers and peers to interact with you on your post, like and comment. Your friends can tell you how good you look in that trendy outfit in the city, giving you that extra boost of confidence, or they can tell you that “you look terrible.” The obvious negative about social media is bullying. What physical literacy is made to do is to prevent things like this. You should have the confidence to post pictures of yourself, not delving too deep into the hate comments or changing yourself because Kylie Kardashian got lip injections. People endorsing physical literacy want their peers to be confident and comfortable in their own body and how their body works. In order to prevent our young people comparing themselves to celebrities and social media influencers, they need some type of reassurance that you are your own person. You can’t look at someone else an expect to look the same way. Parents should establish their children with confidence. If a child is confident within themselves, they are following the concept of physical literacy and have a lower chance of thinking less of themselves.
Although sport isn’t what physical literacy is all about, having a child that participates in sports can give them that extra boost of confidence. Of course, it also keeps them physically active and fit. When associating sport with physical literacy, it must be known that there are steps that lead to sport participation. In order for someone to participate in sports, they must learn the fundamental movements of physical literacy. A few examples of fundamental physical literacy movements are running, jumping, throwing, and catching. Once a child had learned the fundamentals, they then learn the more complex movements that are involved in sports, leading to the participation in sports. Playing sports like soccer and baseball will give students the opportunity to be physically active outside of the classroom and will generally lead them to a healthier lifestyle; however, it’s not about creating the ultimate athlete. The concept of physical literacy thinks less about competition and more about the overall wellbeing and health of a person, which supports the fact that physical literacy doesn’t necessarily focus on sport.
Physical Education teachers are the people that first introduce physical literacy to a child. Physical Education courses should be a diverse course to give the children plenty of opportunities to find something that they feel comfortable with. Giving students the opportunity to work inside and outside is a good example of diversity in the classroom. Allowing students to have different opportunities, like working in a different environment or doing nonstandard activities, gives students the chance to find an activity that they enjoy. Once a child has found an activity that they enjoy, they will start to develop confidence, which is exactly what PE teachers are trying to achieve. This development of confidence and comfortability with a certain activity, and within themselves, makes it more likely for the child to continue being physically active for the rest of their life.
Physical Education teachers live and teach by the means of physical literacy. They want students to be confident and motivated to be physically active, but it is hard for a child to be confident when the curriculum requires teachers to categorize students based on their performance. This makes students feel insecure and uncomfortable, exactly what teachers don’t want them feeling like. Lundvall believes that physical education teachers should stop assessing students “based on how fast, high, or strong a student’s performance is” (116). PE teachers must think back to the idea physical literacy focusing on the development of a child and not how well or poor they perform. PE educators want their students to develop the fundamentals movements of physical literacy and beyond. They don’t want their students to stop their growth because of a silly test in gym class telling them they aren’t fast enough.
Although Physical Education teachers have a huge impact on a child’s physical literacy, a child’s biggest influence is always a parent or guardian; furthermore, it is very likely for a child to develop habits that their parents have inherited. In order to incorporate physical literacy into a child’s life and to prevent the ongoing obesity crisis, parents should make sure that, along with themselves, their child is staying active, eating healthy foods and amounts, and having self-confidence. Doing all of these things makes it a lot easier for a family to live by the concept of physical literacy and increasing the chance that your child will live a long, happy and healthy life.

Finding Scorching Products: Ebay Sourcing Methods - Component 1
If you have been online for a whilst, you must have seen some of the Youtube videos, Facebook enthusiast pages, blog posts, and so on.go viral in a very brief time period of time. You may question this is simply because they have truly fantastic content. Sure, this is one of the essential criteria. The next 7 days, another worker needs a cordless drill and can't find 1. He has to invest time thoroughly examining the instrument crib and likely other areas exactly where the drill may have been misplaced. After investing about a half an hour, he provides up and tells his supervisor that he can't discover the drill. The supervisor then has to halt what he's doing and lookup for the drill, pronounce it misplaced when he can't find it, and then authorize the procurement of another 1. On top of the cost of the $60 drill, you now have an additional $10 to $20 bucks in employee lookup time, or a substitute cost of $80. That is definitely true if you are dealing with the Chinese market. Right here the merchant can lay down some specs which are circumstances for the business relationship. If these circumstances are not met then the service provider is nicely within their legal rights to find option resources of products. That can assist to keep the service provider in line as nicely simply because they have to monitor supply chains. For example you will need to watch the journey of a wholesale Tablet from the time an purchase is produced to the time that delivery is finished. The logistics and supply chain company focuses mainly on Asia-Pacific trade through air, sea and customs brokerage services. It managed to publish strong base line figures that bucked the financial and trade slump that strike ports and transportation businesses on the West Coast hard in final year's waning months. And then the last concerns are the pragmatic, practical ones, is we know how to do this. I imply, we do have a great deal of truly great understanding and skills that can be shared if we go about it in the appropriate way. So I think for all these factors the Obama Administration really, right off the bat, decided that we wanted to consider a look at our meals and nutrition programs, our agriculture applications, and attempt to begin to kind out what labored, what didn't work, emphasize the former, not the latter, develop a broader international consensus. Kylie Bax: We have two daughters and we appreciate their enthusiasm when they see the uggs. I've dealt with every aspect of the company from sourcing Agent Singapore, production, distribution, you name it, whilst Spiros handles the creative side. He's really this kind of a talented artist that I could never have done any of it alone and I like to believe he couldn't do it with out me. . It has truly added another dimension to our relationship. These uggs we truly believe in and we have labored very difficult for the high quality to be impeccable and the shoe to be fashionable and cool for the kids' feet. Now the query is can he live up to all they declare he is? I don't see how anybody could at any time live up to the buzz his proponents push on we, the wary. But push they do and push they will. I really good food tip I saw from a dietician on YouTube (nutrition by Kylie) was that when you’re eating food, instead of focusing on taking away, focus on what you can add. Like you have a bagel and instead of thinking of it as carbs and carbs are bad(they’re not), add to it. Throw on sone eggs and/or meat and you’ve got a good source of protein. Add in sone veggies for fiber and to get veggies on.
A salad that has lettuces and veggies but also with lots of dressing and croutons and meats still has the benefits of all those veggies.
There’s also things she’d never do as a dietician and that’s things like cleanses, cutting out entire groups of food, cutting out msg, cutting out soy, cutting out gluten (since she doesn’t have sensativity to it and doesn’t have celiac disease). She won’t avoid food just because she can’t pronounce the ingredient . Basically, if it means cutting out food, it’s most likely she won’t do it
Organic isn’t healthier than non organic. GMOs aren’t horrible and scary. Canola oil is fine. Soy is fine. Sweet potatoes and white potatoes are BOTH nutritious. Brown sugar isn’t superior to white sugar. Fresh veggies aren’t superior to frozen

How to Lose Belly Fat
source: https://ift.tt/2tHOZbA
When Keeping Up with the Kardashians debuted on E! in 2007, Rob Kardashian had the world on a string. But after splitting with pop star Rita Orain 2012, he turned to junk food to cope, and as his weight ballooned, his self-esteem evaporated. Kardashian was reportedly even afraid to step out in public and be photographed. “If I don't get some. This together, they won't want to like hang around everybody, y'know what I'm saying?” But by 2018, he managed to finally shed some pounds and get back within reach of his ideal weight. So just how did he do it? This is Rob Kardashian's dramatic weight loss transformation. Trending with milkshakes By 2014, Kardashian was making headlines for all the wrong reasons. In a now deleted throwback Instagram post,he revealed that his problem worsened when he started drinking milkshakes. His weight gain was so dramatic that he wound up trending on Twitter because of it. He wrote, in a series of since-deleted tweets: “So I found out I was trending for being fat. Thank you all it really made my day. [. ] I'm aware that I'm fat that def ain't surprise to me lol and my only therapy will be in the gym, anyways had to say something. ” Too fat for the cameras Kardashian's Twitter rant came just days before his sister, Kim Kardashian, was due to marry rapper Kanye West in Italy. Despite making it all the way to Paris, he ended up flying straight back to LA because he didn't want to be seen at the ceremony. “When Rob flew to Paris, he read some nasty comments about himself, and he just didn't feel comfortable, and he didn't wanna see all my guests. ” According to TMZ, Rob had, become so insecure and depressed about his appearance [that] he refused to be in the family wedding pics, despite his family encouragement. ” Kardashian confessed to People, “I'm 6'1″ and at my most I probably weighed300 pounds. There were cameras at the airport on our trip there, and I was very unhappy with the person I saw in all the pictures. ” A little ‘tough love' When newlywed sister Kim returned to the States, she told Andy Cohen that Rob sent her “a long email” on the morning of her wedding explaining his reasons for bailing. But Kim wasn't feeling sympathetic, saying, “I try to encourage him and once you just don't make that change for so long and it's not happening, I get frustrated. ” And Kim isn't the only Kardashian to have lost her patience with Rob. Sister Khloé told People in 2015, “I've been really trying, but I have my moments, and I do snap. I've offered to get a chef, I'm like, ‘What'your excuse?' But it's not just that. I can't win life for Rob. I have to wait until [he's] ready to do it for himself. ” Passing on rehab Rumors started circulating in 2014 that Kardashian was headed to weight loss camp. But he quickly shot down that story, in a since-deleted tweet, writing, “To the blogs saying I went to fat camp or rehab, LOL. Then why am I still fat you fools? Y'all must have run out of real news. ” The Kardashians tried to stage a family intervention, but as soon as Rob caught wind of the plan, he split. An insider told Radar Online in 2017, “He's refusing rehab, he doesn't want any fat farms, no more therapists, no more interventions, diets, and meddling sisters. Serious concerns Rob is said to have suffered from depression ever since the death of his biological father in 2003, with his weight issues only making matters worse. In a 2015 episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, his mother, Kris Jenner, said she fears the worst is yet to come, admitting, “If I don't help him do something drastic,he's going to die. ” She later told a therapist on the show, “It's just like you're waiting for this horrible thing to happen and there's nothing you can do about it. ” A devastating diagnosis By the end of 2015, Rob's weight was threatening his life. In December of that year, he has rushed to hospital after falling ill, due to complications from diabetes. According to TMZ, Rob then became determined to shed the extra weight and get healthy in the new year, but one whistleblower claimed his lifestyle only got worse. The insider told Radar Online, “He thinks nothing of having two or three tubs [of ice cream] in the afternoon. It's wreaking havoc on his diabetes, not to mention the added stress the weight is putting on his heart. ” Hiding out Rob reportedly became so disheartened about his appearance that he withdrew from society altogether, holing up in his mom's house and becoming a total recluse. But Khloe told Wonderwall in March 2015 that his issues weren't just physical ones. She said, “Over the last year, Rob has become very introverted and has a kind of social anxiety. I know he can get to that happy place and will. ” A few weeks later, Kim revealed her thoughts about Rob on Today, saying, “I think he's just going through a phase where he's not comfortable in his own skin. He is working really hard to get back to where he really wants to be. ” But Rob's friends weren't so sure he could do it. One insider revealed to Hollywood Life, “His weight affects his mood, and then his mood affects his motivation to eat well and work out, it's a vicious cycle. ” Support from the pros While those closest to Rob were warning him about his weight; there was one person who thought he was fine just the way he was. Rob's former Dancing with the Stars partner Cheryl Burke told the Allegedly podcast of his fluctuating weight: “I'm surprised that he's making it a bigger deal than it is. Cause I think that it's fine. ” Losing it with Blac Chyna Rob finally managed to get his diabetes under control in 2016, according to CNN. It was the first big victory in his battle with obesity, but Rob didn't do it alone. He revealed that his romance with model Blac Chyna turned out to be the catalyst he needed in order to make positive changes. He told People at the time, “She's surrounded me with a lot of positivity. From the moment we met, I knew I wanted to be more than friends. ” According to TMZ, his new flame encouraged him to cut carbs and red meat, and hit the gym five days a week, with no cheat days. With her help, he was able to shed an impressive40 pounds. Packing it on, again Blac Chyna gave birth to Rob's daughter, DreamKardashian, in November 2016, but less than a year later, the two separated under very nasty circumstances. “So yeah, I am not feeling so good. ” After the breakup, Rob started to pack on the pounds. A friend told Radar Online, “He's the biggest he's ever been. He's well over 300 pounds now [. ] and his a heart attack waiting to happen. ” Radar's source claimed Rob had been “comforting big time”, and claimed, “He's got major anger and addiction issues, brought on by a chronic lack of self-esteem over his looks and his position in the family. He's lost the will to live, and if it wasn't his little girl, he'd probably not have made it. ” According to The Belfast Telegraph, Kim allegedly urged mom Kris to stop “enabling” Rob's unhealthy lifestyle with financial support. Baby motivation According to Hollywood Life, Rob started joiningKylie for workouts every other day as she aimed to shed her baby weight, after giving birth to daughter Stormi in February 2018. Before long, he was looking slimmer than he had in years. A source revealed, “Seeing the weight fall off has been huge in helping Rob get his confidence back. Kylie challenged and pushed Rob to be better for Dream, and that's all the motivation he needed. ” The insider claimed Rob finally agreed on to stick to his diet, though having a young child in the house has helped amp up the activity level. The source claimed, “Rob is staying disciplined and sticking with a strict nutritional program that he's been put on to get his weight down as well, and it makes it easier for him since Dream keeps him pretty active already. He's having a blast chasing her around. ” Fans got to see Instagram evidence of Rob'weight loss, on his 31st birthday in March 2018. Did he secretly get surgery? As of June 2018, skinny Rob is back. But did he really lose all that weight through exercise and healthy eating as he claims? According to court documents obtained by theDaily Mail, Blac Chyna alleged Rob underwent a series of cosmetic procedures at costs totaling$100,000. Chyna reportedly made those claims while defending herself against allegations that she had deceived sponsors by going under the knife. Whatever the case, we're hoping Rob is feeling happy and healthy these days

Day 9 of realistic nutrition tips

Kylie: This is one of my favorite meal prep tools. I'm a dietician and this is episode 9 of realistic nutrition tips. Instead of freezing your soup in larger batches, it can be easier to pour them into these portioned 1 cup silicon molds
[Text above her states "(This is NOT sponsored)".]
Kylie: so you can easily pop them out and heat them up for a convenient meal when you are too lazy to cook. It's honestly so much easier than freezing them in bags or plastic containers which makes me much more likely to use them. You can use them for leftovers, mini loaves, sauces, and many other foods.

Pinned Comment by Kylie Sakaida, MS, RD (@/NutritionByKylie):
There are days when making an entire meal seems overwhelming so I default to the most convenient option: frozen food. Though I’ve froze soups in plastic bags and plastic containers before, I find it much easier to simply pop out an individually-portioned “soup cube” to microwave or heat on the stovetop.
Before you ask, this is NOT sponsored (I just really like the product)! They’re BPA free, dishwasher safe, and oven safe (not the lid) up to 415˚F. I linked them in my Amazon storefront if you wanted try them out!

Day 5 of realistic nutrition tips
Source of video and on-screen captions: NutritionByKylie on YouTube
Start of video transcription by @/imaginary-food-booth is under the cut
Kylie: I'm a dietician and this is day 5 of realistic nutrition tips. And this is more related to cooking because sometimes the key to good nutrition is taking steps to learn how to make home cooking more manageable. So whenever you're preparing vegetables keep a mini garbage can or bowl next to you. This is mine.
[Kylie shows a small white plastic garbage can to the camera by holding the garbage can by its handle.]
Kylie: It opens really easily and I use a biodegradable bag.
[Kylie opens the garbage can to the camera to reveal the light greenish-blue plastic bag inside before going back to shaving carrots.]
Kylie: I know it sounds unnecessary but it ca be the difference between taking a long time to clean up after cooking and saving some time by just emptying a little garbage can or bowl after you've prepped everything. If you have a biodegradable bag, you can compost the scraps or you can save the scraps and make a nutritious broth.
[Text above her states "Rachel Ray also popularized this kitchen trick in the 2000s".]
Kylie: My parents have been doing this for as long as I can remember
[Text above her states "It also saves you steps from running back and forth to your (actual) garbage can!!".]
Kylie: and it helps me cooking a little easier because then you won't have to clean up as much afterwards. Try it out. I promise it's worth it.

Here is a comment thread that I think is helpful.
Comment from @/runyuanchen6286 that is ❤️ by Kylie Sakaida, MS, RD (@/NutritionByKylie): Yas i do this too! A side note tho, biodegradable and compostable are actually not the same thing, the word “compostable” is regulated but “biodegradable” is not, so if you buy biodegradable bags, u may not be able to treat them like compost and end up creating more wastes (e.g. bury them in ur backyard, send them to local composter, etc.)
Comment by @/alim.9801: Thank you for the info!! I have a patio finally and I want to try composting but if I didn't see this I probably would have been in trouble lol
Comment by @/corylcreates: Also: Some compostable products are only compostable in municipal/city/large-scale compost too (like the kind I get) compared to backyard/small-scale composting.
End of comment thread.
