#poorly drawn mdzs #mdzs #lan wangji #jin zixun #wei wuxian #su she #(Su She needs to have his carrie moment before he can have his Carrie Moment.#Which means he needs to exist as a punching bag before he can hit 'em with the rebound).#My first draft of this comic had WWX slurping LWJ's wine per actual scene canon #As it really is a great scene of how WWX is willing to absorb the scandal and harm that befalls others.#It had a lot less to do with it being LWJ and more so that WWX just happens to be the kind of person who refuses to turn a blind eye.#It could have been any Lan who was being pressured (inappropriately) to drink (do not pressure anyone to drink irl PLEASE).#Because this is a romance plot it of course *is* LWJ. But don't forget that in this moment they aren't on great terms.#It's not a knight in shining armor moment - it's a 'you were being treated unjustly and I have the power to absolve you from that.'#And as we are very soon about to see - WWX certainly cannot turn away from those who need aid he can provide.#And like Jin Guangyao; that kindness is also his downfall.#By the way - that you all for the amazing community commentary on the last comic. I really loved reading everyone's thoughts!#Suyao shippers...I get it now. You had me at 'wen ning and WWX parallels'. Hello! This is my propaganda post for every Cold in the @voice-of-the-sexyman tournament!

If you have not voted, you can do it right here, under the "#tournament voting" tag, you should be able to see all the rounds and vote for all the different Colds!!! There's also a ton of wonderful art for different Colds in the blog, so give it a scroll if you wanna see them! Or check out "#sexyman propaganda" tag, that also works!

Okay now that I've sufficiently advertised the tournament, here's my usual Everest ramble (apologies if it makes 0 sense, it's almost 6 am as I'm writing this):

When all the contestants were first announced for the tournament, I wanted to make a group photo with all the Colds, similar to the Hero one I did for New Years. But then I got distracted and kind of intimidated by the idea, and went "Well, I guess not this time."

Turns out all I needed for an inspiration push is for someone else to make some wonderful propaganda, and so here we are! This drawing is also why I asked everyone in the tourmament about the heights of their Colds, just so I could roughly place them! I tried my best to stick to the heights that were given to me, but a bunch definitely ended up shifting and growing/shrinking as I was changing the composition. So, uh, sorry about that!

And also sorry if I made mistakes in drawing any of your Cold designs, I really wanted to finish it as early in the voting week as possible, so I just spent 6 hours almost-straight drawing this! So there are most definitely some mistakes </3

But that aside! This tournament has been very fun already, everyone's Colds are absolutely wonderful, and they've been super fun to draw! In my eyes, they're all winners and all the sexymen (gender neutral) <3

#kingdom hearts #kh #kh kairi #kh xion #kh namine #i don't really feel proud of my own stuff usually but #i really think this is the drawing i'm most proud of from this past year!! it made me think 'oh maybe i can draw' haha #i'm still kinda bad with colors but something clicked with this one. and i feel like i got the sentimental feeling i wanted!#ooh but this project's about flower symbolism so ramble incoming:#protea symbolizes resilience transformation and diversity; hollyhock means 'please remember me.'#so my general theme was finding a sense of self.#these 3 have struggled with finding their own identity; they tend to get left behind both in-universe and in general plotwise #and naminé and xion both resemble kairi and were overshadowed by her memory. but i feel like all 3 have transformed into their own people #xion and naminé have their faces covered partially by hollyhock to show their wish to be remembered for who they are-#instead of the parts that they share with someone else #and the protea bouquets show how they each held on and resiliently grew into their own person despite it all #i put a little swervy path on the hill behind kairi to give that hopeful sense of growth and moving forward. it's a little hard to see #hopefully that makes sense! i really love symbolism but i think in visuals so i'm really bad with words #but gosh working with everyone on this project was so fun. it was like impossible not to get swept up by the team's hype for this zine #i need to hunt down everybody's work and rb it #ohh and everybody's flowers are so crisply drawn it's insane!! i think if i lined all these flowers and leaves i'd die haha #fan art #my art #project stuff

Black Butler Amino, Black Arts Magazine - Holiday Party

it doesn't quite look like a holiday party from here, but what I imagined as a humble little piece is~~ Ciel and Lizzy sneak away from the big bustling midford Christmas party and raid the kitchen desserts, like they did when they were kids(it was Lizzy's idea, Ciel clearly hasn't been himself since he returned, and she wanted to bring him back).
