ok ok ok . one last moment of insanity (probably) and then i will move on and stop talking about this (probably) but like . i remember first seeing some of caiti's stream and being so scared that he'd done something horrible and looking at clips of this girl sitting there in tears as she described what had happened to her and being so full of empathy and sorrow and shame and now im just like . 😐 idk i think a lot of her original language made it seem like he'd done something different like idk stuck a hand in her pants or groped her or something when that just wasn't the case and then further statements and comments from her and ghostie and other ccs were nothing but inflammatory and fundamentally rooted in the belief that he had SA'd her when that just . wasn't the case. and it really makes me think about things like bias and performative behavior as a whole and how it all comes together to create these people who so many young adults especially look up to who believe that this sort of behavior or whatever is ok slash acceptable and are PRAISING them for it and . idk . it just makes me really really sad

sometimes i like to think that horror comes to dust's room late at night just to talk to phantom papyrus. no he doesn't wanna talk to dust. horror probably doesn't even CARE if dust's awake at the asscrack of dawn or rambling off to the hallucination too loudly this late at night because he just wants to talk to phantom papyrus

horror's not delusional enough to believe that phantom paps is actually real and his own papyrus like dust does but sometimes he really wants to,,,, so just for these short moments between them he wants to pretend that the hallucination is his papyrus. that he gets to talk to his own brother before everything went to shit and before he ruined his brother's life. yeah sure phantom paps kinda says some crazy stuff that horror's papyrus never would back then but so what?? dust's papyrus is the closest thing he's got and at least he doesn't have to deal with the guilt at even LOOKING at his brother's face (the sunken eyesockets,,,, the uneven teeth,,,,, yeah no) because there's nothing there. horror doesn't have to do anything but keep his back turned to dust and just talk to papyrus through him

they both keep their backs turned to eachother when they do this because neither of them can stand looking at eachother. dust especially because hearing horror sound so much like how he was before. horror sounds so lighthearted and relaxed and just,,,,, normal that it almost reminds dust of himself. maybe if he closed his eyes and tuned out his own voice he could just imagine the moment being a conversation between himself and paps back then before he had to kill him over and over. dust doesn't want to have to look back and see horror's mutilated skull and his permanently replaced eye. he doesn't want the fake scenario he's choosing to indulge in right now to be broken

and then i think they talk like that for a long time; because horror has a lot to say to paps about himself and what he regrets and dust has a lot of reminiscing to do on the good old days before he lost himself :3

I love seeing characters do mundane stuff or going on shitty motel trips

i need to see ladybug and chat noir unable to go back to their homes for awhile because there’s a sneaky little akuma on the loose. In between patrols they have to pound back 2 ice cream sundaes each, 5 double stack burgers, and the biggest salad they can find(mainly out of guilt) because of their increased metabolism.

They have to rent a shitty motel and set up a GiFi partition in between the beds so they can sleep at night. Chat has no idea why they didn’t go with a luxury hotel, not only would they have been able to have completely separate rooms but the showers would be hot!! Ladybug reminds him that it’ll draw more attention if they’re in a luxury hotel where countless reporters mingle. 

They go grocery shopping and buy more novelty foods than anything actually healthy. They patrol across the rooftops with cheap ladybug and chat noir popsicles. Of course that’s when they finally catch glimpse of the akuma and their sweet treats are lost to the concrete. 

They head back to their temporary “hideout” and celebrate with the rest of the groceries they had. Perhaps they had some wine while they dined, though Ladybug would never tell and Chat would just claim he knew one thing he couldn’t skimp out on. Reports said the sound of caterwauls could be heard for miles near the outskirts of paris. When finally reported for the noise complaint, police forced the door open to Parisian heroes Chat noir and Ladybug escaping from a nearby window, laughing their heads off.
