Period Pains
Tumblr media
*Gif not mine, credits to the owner*
• Pairing: Jay Halstead x Reader.
• Requested: Nope! Just fancied some soft!Jay
• Warnings: pure fluff besties
• Summary: Jay looks after you as you experience a rough period, unlike anything you’ve felt before.
• Words: 2482.
• A/N : When I tell you this is the ugliest thing I’ve ever written lmao. I’m so weak for soft!Jay at the moment and had just came on my period when i started this  a few weeks ago.. I have a few ongoing requests at the moment that I’m working on, promise I’m not ignoring them but I just don’t want to post them until I’m happy with them!
Hope you enjoy!
You notice the bed beside you dip with Jay’s weight as he joins you, fresh from the shower as you feel the heat radiating from him. You attempt to shift and face him, craving the feeling of having your head against his chest with the rhythm of his heartbeat soothing you to sleep. You wince as a cramp hits your stomach, slinging your arm across your stomach as a natural reflex for when the wave of pain arises.
Jay places a hand on the edge of your shoulder, gripping round your skin as he moves your hair to one side to place a delicate kiss to the exposed shoulder blade “Stay facing that way, I’ll be able to rub your stomach” he whispers into the nape of your neck and causing a shiver to run down your spine at the softness of his words.
You happily do as you’re told, still in somewhat of a half consciousness as you doze in and out of sleep with the thought of knowing he was there beside you helping the pain drift away.
“Life your hips for me baby” he softly demands, encouraging you to lift your side for just a few seconds to allow him to slip his arm under you to rest a hand on your stomach “You’re burning up” he tuts, removing the hot water bottle you had pressed against you and placing it on the the other side of the bed “Don’t want you getting too warm, you’ll make yourself ill”.
His firm tone made your heart flutter, he always had your best interests at heart and made the smallest of actions seem natural to him. You’d happily let yourself curl up under a blanket with a hot water bottle until you were burning hot but it would always leave you feeling faint and you’d end up cooling off in a cold bath or shower which really defeated the object..
You laid in a comfortable silence with Jay, cursing under your breath as another wave of pain hit "Why am I a girl” you mocked, digging your head further into your pillow as some form of distraction. Jay would take it in his stride, dropping a kiss to your back and chuckling as you swear under your breath to take your mind off the intense cramps.
The motion of Jay rubbing his hand softly over your stomach didn’t stop, you expected it to after a while but it never did. He was constantly tracing shapes across your skin, running his fingernails back and forth under your shirt and laughing as you occasionally flinched if it tickled. Whether it was a placebo affect or not, the cramps would ease under his touch and helped you get a brief moment of sleep.
You awoke just under an hour later to an empty bed, turning over to see the covers thrown back and Jay’s side of the bed vacant made your heart sink. He was the one helping you through this and even though the painkillers had kicked in, you still missed him just being beside you.
You would often be the first one up in the mornings, heading to the gym before work or just wanting to be awake to make him a morning coffee meant you weren’t used to being in bed alone. He was always there with you, even when you teased him for how long the pair of you would spend in bed on your days off, you loved it and wouldn’t want it any other way.
In replacement of Jay’s hand, you must’ve reached for the hot water bottle in your sleep and that was a mistake. You were now sweating, the clothes clinging to your skin as it glistens with sweat, feeling clamy and gross wasn’t what you needed right now.
Trudging over to the bathroom and catching a glimpse of yourself in the mirror was an instant regret, you were hunched to try and relieve the cramps, hair disheveled and your body was covered in red blotches from the hot water bottle. If you didn’t feel horrendous before, you did now.
You always worried in your relationship that you weren’t good enough for Jay, he woke up and looked perfect, would finish an intense workout and look like a sports model or even concentrating on some paperwork he would look flawless and here you were looking the complete opposite.
You let out a deep sigh, running your fingers through your hair in some attempt to regain a sense of decency but there was no point. Your feelings were being intensified from your period and leaving you feeling worse than ever, wanting to curl up in bed and cry was seeming most appealing but before you can enjoy a good ole pity cry you hear the keys turning in the lock.
Quickly wiping the tears from your face and using Jay’s tshirt that you were currently wearing to try and remove the stains from your cheek was useless, you panicked. Jay seemed to have unnatural ability to tell when you’re not feeling yourself, and this is no exception. Just from taking one look at you he’d be able to tell you were upset and you didn’t want that to be the case, you’d already had a pity day and the last thing he needed was to see you were feeling worse.
You chugged some water that he had left on the side and took another glance at yourself in the mirror, the red blotches had made their way to your neck so were now much more visible and your normal cheery smile was no where to be seen.
“Baby?” you hear Jay call out, rustling around with some bags in the kitchen before making his way over to the room you shared. You were sat on the edge of the bed with your arms folded across your stomach, leant forward in pain as you rested your head on your knees.
His heart pulled at the sight, you were in pain and there was nothing he could do about it. He prided himself on always doing whatever he could to help you in any given situation and not being able to take away the hurt was killing him. He’d helped you through many periods in the past but this was the worst one by far, you’d be able to take some paracetamol and carry on but this was defeating you.
You barely had a chance to respond before you heard the footsteps getting louder as he made his way towards you, letting out a deep sigh as he sees you scrunched over in pain. The noise of bags rustling comes to a stop as he crouches down in front of you, resting his hand on the back of your neck and the other on your knee to hold himself steady as he balances.
“What happened baby?” his smooth voice was music to your ears, he didn’t even have to do anything and he was already soothing you more than you ever could. You sniffed before bringing your attention onto him, watching as his eyes soften when he see’s the redness in your cheeks and the hurt in your gaze.
“Nothing” you lie through your teeth, already knowing he won’t fall for it but thinking it was worth a shot. Instead of giving you the normal ‘are you forgetting how well I know you?’ speech, he simply tilted his head to the side and lifted his hand to rest on the side of your face with a doting look “We’ll talk about it later”.
You were grateful for how well he knew you, knowing not to push you and that you weren’t in the mood to be interviewed like a suspect. Normally you loved it, thinking it was cute how he always craved to prove how well he knew you and could tell you were off just by a simple look but in doing this he knew best to leave it until you were ready.
“Did you have to go back to work?” you question, still absentmindidly leaning into Jay’s touch as he gently moves his thumb back and forth to caress your cheekbone. A simple shake of his head made you smile, you were secretly hoping you’d have him to yourself so when you awoke to the empty bed you just assumed he’d been called in.
You couldn’t hide the frown that formed as he removed his hand and stood in front of you, reaching for something on the bed as you stayed hunched over below him. “I got your favourite ice cream” he comments, holding the tub out to you with a grin spreading on his face as your eyes light up “I thought they stopped selling it?” you questioned, already peeling off the plastic from the lid.
“They did in our local, I asked around and drove to the only place they said still sells it” the pride in his voice was unlike anything you’d heard before as he carried on rummaging around the bag before pulling out 3 more tubs “Didn’t know how many you wanted so I stocked up” he chuckled, placing the tubs back into the bag and watching as you nibble round the edge of the container, too impatient to wait for a spoon.
“You don’t want these then?” you looked round to see him holding a family size bag of crisps, a handful of candy bars and even a box of your favourite instant hot chocolate that you used to have as a child. “How did you know” you probe, reaching for the box and examining the text.
Struggling to remember the last time you saw the packaging in a shop, let alone holding it in your hands. The box feeling so much smaller than it used to from when you were young, bounding to the cashier with 5 or 6 boxes to buy with your pocket money.
“On our first date we passed a shop that sold them and I’ll never forget the look on your face. You told me how your mum would always make you one if you were having a bad day and they’d always make you feel better” he smiled and could feel the tears brimming in your eyes.
You and Jay had been together nearly 8 months and he still remembered the tinist detail from your first date, something you had even forgotten about. A little remark you made as you passed the shop on the way back to the car park, not thinking much of it as who would remember about a box of instant hot chocolate that probably didn’t even taste good? Jay did.
“Get into bed and I’ll get some bowls for these” he collects the items and puts them back into the bag, his tone still gentle despite the excitement you knew he had inside from presenting you with everything you needed without being asked.
You shook your head, standing to wrap your arms around his torso. Nestling your head into his chest as you feel it vibrate from a silent laugh “I told you to get into bed baby” you felt the shivers run down your spine as he rested his hand on the back of your head, allowing his hand to roam up and down your back in a soft motion.
“What did I do to deserve you” you mumble into his chest, feeling him rest his head on top of yours as his hand settled on your lower back to push you further into him “So I did good?” you could practically hear the smirk on his lips, pulling back to examine the glowing grin peering back at you as his eyes glistened.
You reached to place a light kiss to his lips, a soft kiss that told him everything he needed to know “Are you gonna make me tell you to get into bed again?” he joked, tapping your back to retract yourself from him. Begrugingly you did so, already feeling the slight cold from the lack of contact you now craved from him.
Picking the bags up from the bed to pull back the blanket, you felt the weight of something still in the bottom. You opened the carriers to see what must’ve been atleast 5 boxes of different sanitary products rolling around in the bags “What’s this?” you asked, confused as to why he went out of his way to buy you the snacks but you never would’ve expected him to know what products to buy you, or atleast try and guess as you always joked about how little men knew about the whole thing.
“I didn’t know if you needed any” his voice was timid, reaching to rub the back of his neck with his hand which was a sign of nervousness you’d picked up on over the past few months . “Jay, how much do you think I bleed?” you were grateful to see the corners of his lips lift in a smile “Well, I realised I’ve never bought you any so I wanted to get a few so I had more of a chance of getting the right ones” he admitted, your hands falling to your sides as you allowed the bag to drop to the floor.
Your feet were bounding over to him before you could even think, all you wanted to do was throw your arms around him as you had no words for everything he had done. “I can’t believe how much I love you” your voice slightly cracked as you felt the lump rise to your throat, as much as Jay loved to care for you, you never would've expected this.
“I’m sorry I can’t take the pain away” you felt him plant a kiss to the top of your head, another one of his small guestures that made you week at the knees without him even knowing. “You’ve helped more than you’ll ever know” you smiled into him, cringing at your cheesy confession but knowing he loves to hear these things from you, adding to his ego of how well he looks after you.
You both stood in a comfortable silence, basking in each other presence with the simplicity of the background noises coming from the streets below. From someone looking on, the way you were standing probably didn’t look very comfortable. The way you were entangled together, your arms hanging from his neck as his moved around your body to press his fingertips in the various parts he knew you were probably feeling pain. When Jay finally breaks the silence, he mutters the words that at the moment sounded better than ‘i love you’ when they fell from his lips “Do you want some ice cream, baby?”

My savior, Mammon!
Tumblr media
Pairing: Mammon x Reader
Game: Obey Me! - One Master To Rule Them All
Genre: Fluff
Synopsis: You can count on Mammon to save you when you find yourself in a small predicament.
Warning(s): None
Note: This story was originally uploaded on my Quotev @HeyLookItsYC.
Story is down below!
~
Mammon’s birthday was nearing once again, and this year you were determined to find the perfect gift. However, you were having a difficult time finding something for him. The stores surrounding you sold many flashy items that you knew the second-born would love, but the little amount of Grimm that you had in your card limited your options.
Reaching a shop that sold many expensive-looking outfits, your fingers lightly touched the glass of the window display.
“Maybe I can get a new jacket for him?” you said to yourself, staring at a mannequin that modeled a jacket similar to the one Mammon wore. “But what color would I even give him? What if he has this jacket color already-”
“Can I help you with anything?”
A voice snapped you out of your thoughts, and you turned your head to see a young demon around your age standing at the store entrance. You knew he was an employee based on the clothes that he wore, and his nametag told you that his name was Dai.
“I, uhm…” You awkwardly rubbed the back of your neck with a nervous laugh. “You heard me talking to myself, didn’t you?”
“Maybe,” he answered, amusement in his tone. “Don’t worry, it was kind of cute.”
“Oh.” You felt your face heat up at the compliment. “Thank you, I guess.”
“No need to thank me.” He waved a hand, gesturing you to follow him into the store. “I have a new shipment of styles that you might like. Why don’t you follow me?”
“Alright, thanks!” you exclaimed, and as you followed him into the store you failed to notice the dangerous smile that now played on his lips.
~
“The material of this one is nice, and though it’s comfortable I don’t know if it’ll be good enough for Mammon,” you muttered, holding the sleeve of a jacket up to your face. As your thumb brushed over the clothing, you were suddenly caught off guard by another hand grabbing onto yours.
“Mammon, you say?” Dai was now holding your hand tightly, his much taller frame hovering over you. “Is this why you are searching for clothes?”
“Yes, actually.”
“Hm.”
You felt yourself suddenly pushed back, landing on top of the checkout counter. “Hey, what’re you-!?”
Your words were cut off at the sight of Dai hovering on top of you, hands positioned on both sides of your head so that you would be unable to escape.
The male leaned in close to your ear, and you cringed slightly at the feeling of his warm breath hitting your neck. “The moment you mentioned Mammon,” he whispered, his hands slowly moving to grab onto yours, “I knew that you were the human exchange student that he wouldn’t shut up about. How lucky am I, honestly? To have you walk into the same store he always visits...” He chuckled.
“Let me go,” you demanded, struggling to escape his grasp.
“And if I don’t?”
“Then I’ll- ah!”
You suddenly felt the weight on top of you remove itself, revealing a very pissed off Mammon.
“What the hell do ya’ think you’re doin' with my human?” The second-born was quick to pull you up, an arm wrapping around you protectively. You felt your cheeks warm at the action.
“Well,” Dai looked annoyed, “before you so rudely interrupted, I was just showing the human a preview of what would’ve happened if they came home with me tonight.”
You felt Mammon’s grip on you tighten.
“Hey,” you said gently. “Let’s get out of here. He isn’t worth it, Mammon.”
“... fine.”
You were slightly surprised; you had expected him to at least argue or put up a fight, but he didn’t.
Just as the two of you were making your way out of the shop, you heard Dai call out to you.
“You can leave now, but you know you’ll come back once you realize how much of a scumbag he really is!”
Before you could comprehend what was happening, Mammon had already left your side and tackled the other demon to the ground.
~
“That wasn’t smart of you, Mammon,” you chastised.
“Yeah, yeah. I know.”
The two of you were sitting at one of the tables outside of a cafe; other than the few looks of confusion and curiosity you received from the other customers, no one really paid you any mind. You didn’t want to just take up a table without ordering anything, however, so you had bought two red coffees for you two to enjoy.
“You can never go back to that store again, you know.” You sat next to Mammon, a dampened napkin in your hand as you gently cleaned a small cut he had on his cheek.
“I don’ care,” he grumbled. He pulled his shades down, looking anywhere but at you. “That stupid employee deserved it.”
“If I didn’t know any better, I’d think that you were jealous, Mammon,” you laughed, and you finished cleaning up the last of his injuries before folding the napkin and placing it aside.
“... whatever, stupid human.” He took a drink of his red coffee.
A comfortable silence fell between the two of you for a few minutes. The cafe was a busy one; you recognized some other students ordering drinks or sitting around with others, and since you were seated outside you were also able to see the many demons walking throughout the street. It was darker than usual, and you knew that it would almost be time for dinner at the House of Lamentation.
“Oi.”
“Hm?” You hummed in response, taking a sip of your coffee. “What’s up?”
“Next time ya’ go out, ask me to go with ya’,” Mammon said, a light blush on his face. “You’re just a human, and that alone is enough to make ya’ a target to a buncha demons.”
“I couldn’t bring you with me this time.”
You fiddled with your drink, a small frown making its way onto your face when you realized you still hadn’t bought him anything for his birthday.
He noticed your change in expression. “Hey, hey! Whatcha lookin’ so sad for?”
“I’m sorry, Mammon,” you muttered, giving him an apologetic look. “It’s your birthday tomorrow, and I still haven’t gotten you anything.”
He stared at you, the blush on his face more obvious than before. “I-is… is that why ya’ went out?” he asked, to which you nodded to.
“Yeah. I wanted to buy something that you would really like, but I couldn’t find anything worth buying,” you explained.
“Stupid human…”
You felt something warm surround your hand, and you looked down to see Mammon’s hand holding yours. When you looked up at his face, however, the male was looking in the opposite direction with cheeks so red that he almost looked like a tomato.
“As long as I have ya’ with me, I don’ want anythin’ else for my birthday,” he said. “Except presents from my brothers, of course. Lucifer froze Goldie again, so I've got no spendin’ money.”
“I’m sure you’ll get some good presents from your brothers,” you assured, and Mammon’s eyes brightened at your words.
“Do ya’ know what they got me?”
“I can’t say,” you said teasingly, causing him to groan and lean back in his chair.
“If it ain't money, I don’ want-” He was interrupted by the kiss that you planted on his cheek. “!?”
“You’ll have a great birthday tomorrow, Mammon. I’ll make sure of it,” you said. You finished the last of your coffee, standing up from your seat. “We should get going now, the others will be calling us for dinner soon.”
Finishing up his own drink, Mammon stood up as well. His free hand shoved into his pocket, the other still holding yours, he mumbled something under his breath.
“What was that?” you questioned, to which he just shook his head to. “Mammon, tell me, please?”
“No.”
“Mammon~”
“Dammit, fine!” He looked at you for a moment before looking away. “I said-” His voice suddenly went quiet, muttering the last few words.
“You said…?”
“I said I love ya’, stupid human,” he said. Like always when he was nervous, he looked around and shifted in place. “Now let’s get outta here, I wanna eat dinner.”
As you walked with him on your way back to the House of Lamentation, you moved his arm so that it wrapped around your shoulders while you were still holding hands. You glanced over to see Mammon looking at you in surprise, causing you to smile.
“I love you too, Mammon.”

Hope in the sheets.7
Tumblr media
[Masterlist]
Beta: N/A Pairing: Hoseok x Reader Genre: Friendship, Comedy, Soft boy, Fluff, SMUT, Friends2Lovers, Words: 4.4k
Summary: You held many titles: his neighbor, colleague, wing-man… well, more likely a wing-woman, yet most importantly, you were his best friend. You had been friends since you were born. Between the two of you, you were younger; barely, but he never let you forget it. He always seemed to ruffle your hair and tease you, which could get rather annoying but he made up for it by treating you to things.
What if a drunken one night stand between you and your best friend Hoseok leads to more complicated situations? Your reckless twenties are cut short as you find yourself suddenly responsible for something a little more.
Warning: mentions a sex tape, mentions a birth tape
[First] [Previous] [Masterlist] [Next]
Tumblr media
“Ah! Ah! Ah!” This videotape felt dirty, Hoseok wasn’t sure why, but he was sweaty, his heart raced, as he tried to look anywhere but at the screen. The woman on the video kept making noises and heaven forbid he look between her legs. Was it warm in here or was it just him?
“As you can see the birth canal opens up wide to let the babies head come down and out and the shoulder here is the widest part, so you have to be careful to listen to your body otherwise you may tear, so here we go these are the final pushes and then the baby will slip out—”
“Hoseok, Hoseok wake up!” You called alarmed, Hoseok opened his eyes to see you and the birth class instructor standing over him.
“Don’t worry love, there is always one in every class who faints” The woman handed over some ice, “Put this behind his neck it will help slow his heart rate, nerves sometimes get the better of the soon to be dads”
Sitting up Hoseok sat up a little embarrassed, “sorry, I didn’t mean to faint”
“No, Hobi, it’s okay I feel nauseous as hell after that video too.  That looks scary as hell I don’t think I can do it” you whined. “This class traumatized me more than it helped, and what do we get a couple of cookies and some watered down juice.
“You are so strong and I think you can do it?” Hoseok tried to reassure you and you scoffed.
“If you're so confident you push the baby out.” Hoseok paled again swaying on the spot and you laid him back down. “You are properly scared aren’t you?”
“I am horrified,” he laughed, “I am a big chicken”
“Honestly, I am scared too but I don’t get a choice Hobi, this baby is inside me and it has to get out somehow." you shiver after confessing the fear that had been building in the back of your mind. “If I wasn’t afraid of surgery I would install the old side door”
The gesture of a flat hand across your stomach made Hoseok smile sadly. He took your hands in his.
“I’m sorry that you have been dreading this. I will try to be someone who can eliminate your fears, little darling momma” he kissed your head. The instructor called everyone back to the mats and began explaining how to wash a baby and how to hold a baby for the first time.
It was a fun class but you were happy to get home and rest, biding Hoseok good night. He went quickly to his house where Jimin was sitting waiting for him with a hanging clothes bag.
“What were you so busy doing that I had to pick up your dry cleaning?”
“Y/n’s birthing class” Hoseok's face turned grave as he adopted a serious tone. “Jimin, don’t ever go to a birthing class. I don’t think I can unsee what I saw.”
“Haha, I’m not that silly, I know where babies come from. I am glad I am a man who likes men, so I will never step foot in a birthing class unless you pay me a large fortune. I mean I could watch someone give birth for money."
Hoseok shivered, making Jimin laugh at his expense. “You look pale, so let's change the subject. I bought Yoongi's old van. He sold it for some new equipment. That means I can get rid of the junk van I was driving before.”
“Can I have your old van?” Hoseok jumped on the opportunity.
“Uh sure, but I think it’s more money than it’s worth, you can have it for free because it needs new everything.” He shrugged “I was just going to make it scrapped metal”
“Yeah I can fix it up, I got some money lying around.” Hoseok yawned, “anyway thank you so much for getting my suit. I have my first day of work tomorrow, so I should go to bed early”
“Alright, but tomorrow night celebratory drinks for your first day?” Jimin clutched his shoulder.
“Of course,” Hoseok laughed, waving goodbye and carrying the suit to his apartment.
Tumblr media
“Hey man, how was your day?” Jimin shouted from his newly acquired van from Yoongi. “Get in, we can celebrate tonight”
Jimin drove Hoseok home under strict orders to grab a nice change of clothes so the two could get ready at his house and go out celebrating Hoseok’s new job. Hoseok took the stairs two at a time leading to his apartment, his hand brushing past your old door. He missed you. He missed having you at his work, at his home, at his leisure. You two were inseparable and yet torn apart by the stages of life.
Hoseok had assumed you both would be single and somewhere in your mid-thirties you would just get married to one another for convenience. He grabbed some clothes and found the blacklight outfit you had bought for him, he pushed it aside trying to move on for just a moment.
Instead, he grabbed a classic black button-up and a pair of black dress pants. He placed the items in a bag and headed back down to Jimin waiting excitedly in the driver's seat. He drove them across town singing along to the radio and pulled into the driveway of a beautiful home. Jimin was a sugar baby and so he accumulated a lot of money with ease.
Jimin picked up the package by his doorstep curiously and read the name, his face broke out into a smile. Opening the box he found a beautiful pair of earrings. Hoseok paused, knowing Jimin had been talking about these types of earrings for a long time, but these ones looked handmade and a little cheap, not from a brand-name store like most of Jimin’s other clients would buy.
“They are so cute,” Jimin smiled, lifting the note, reading it aloud. “I don’t have money, so I don’t ask for much, it would just be a waste of your time. Even with this, I still want you to know that I think you are really sweet the way you always help others and never forget to share compliments to those who catch your eye. I will never forget how kind and funny, you are especially at work. The way you run your fingers through your hair unconsciously, how you pout when you think, the way you can glide across the dance floor with drinks without spilling anything. You disappear behind the bar with the cutest laugh and I am completely in love with you.”
“You have an admirer,” Hoseok looked over his shoulder at the letter before asking, “I wonder who it is?”
“I am not sure who it could be?” Jimin frowned, taking the box into a spare room filled with gifts. “They seem really nice”
Once the letter was placed carefully in the room, Jimin stepped out and decided to get dressed for the night. He paused in the doorway walking back and taking the earrings. “Even though they are cheap I think I should at least wear them.”
The two got changed and Jimin posed, “take a picture of me looking over my shoulder, so I can post a picture of the earrings on my Insta”
Hoseok picked up his phone and stepped behind Jimin, ready to take the picture of Jimin’s bare shoulder, earring, and side profile. He stopped when his phone came up with the stupid storage message.
Storage full!
You can free up space on this phone by managing your storage in settings.
“I can’t take a picture,” Hoseok sighed. “My phone storage is full”
“It’s okay, I should put on a bit of makeup to make the picture really pretty. While I do that, use my computer to plug it in and delete stuff. You can save the rest onto a USB, which you will find in the top draw. The USBs should be empty.
Hoseok watched Jimin stroll into the bathroom and thought he might as well take care of this storage issue on the phone. Plugging the device in, Hoseok began going through and deleting memes and stupid screenshots he no longer needed. He went through saving many photos of you, and videos the two of you shared together.
That's when he came across the picture of the two of you dressed in your black light outfits. Both of you looking happy together in the mirror. Hoseok saved the photo to the USB. The next was a blurry picture on the dance floor, he didn’t need that.
Deleting a range of blurred photos, Hoseok kept swiping through them until he came across a video of you and Hoseok walking home. He heard you giggling and unconsciously smiled. He honestly was so in love with you.
There were a few more blurred videos and then there was a video of you two laying in Hoseok’s bed. His heart started to race as he watched you lean down and kiss him in the video. Hoseok couldn’t remember any of this.
The next video was of you removing your dress but it continued, sometimes the phone was just left on the bed face down, at other points, it was lifted and Hoseok heard himself talking as he pointed the camera at you underneath him. “I love you.” He had filmed you while you two were having sex, “I love being inside of you too.”
Hoseok felt a little guilty, while you two were drunk he took a video of you both, not only that but he felt as if he took advantage of you. The next video was taken from behind and Hoseok felt ashamed of himself for the stirring in his pants.
“Are you watching porn?” Jimin laughed from the next room, confused as Hoseok switched to the next video. The two of you were cuddling on your side, Hoseok being the big spoon.
Hoseok's face fell. What had he just watched? His head was reeling with so many thoughts that he couldn’t process them fast enough. He understood that it was you in the video, and you were with him. It was that night. Were you his dream girl? “I slept with Y/n?” He blurted and like being hit with a truck he came to a shocking revelation. Hoseok shot to his feet and spoke out loud hoping it would help him make sense of the situation, “Am I, I think, I might be the father?”
“Oh, Finally!” Jimin shouted, his voice carrying into the office. “I have been waiting for you to figure it all out”
“What do you mean?” Hoseok said his stomach was feeling sick, he didn’t know if he wanted to vomit or cry. The betrayal setting in, “How did you know? DID SHE KNOW?”
Jimin stepped into the room, his lips pressed together in a thin line, with a look of pity on his face confirming Hoseok's suspicion. Hoseok got up, his eyes flashing around the room in a panic. He pushed past Jimin and grabbed the old set of keys from the countertop. Hoseok escaped and drove fast. He didn’t have a destination in mind but after a few minutes of driving he ended up at a park by Han River.
Shutting off the engine, Hoseok let his hands fall from the wheel, his head resting back against the seat, letting out a loud guttural shout. He let the tears fall freely as his sobs racked his body, every breath catching in his throat as if he was choking.
Hoseok wanted to scream, he wanted answers. They all knew. You knew. He thought he was your best friend, someone he trusted with all his secrets, and yet you kept something this big from him. The sick feeling in his stomach grew as did his anger and frustration with the situation.
How long were you going to keep this from him? When the baby was born? When the child was eighteen? Never? He had a right to know but all he wanted to know was why.
He left the vehicle, his phone ringing with your number but he turned it off. He walked to the nearest bar somewhere dark and quiet and he drank until he couldn’t see his hands.
“Hey mate you have to go, come on get up.” The bartender said, nudging him with an exaggerated sigh, “Mate can I call someone to come get you?”
“No one, my best friend is a liar, she is pregnant and didn’t even tell me it is my child,” Hoseok mumbled into the table. The bartender sighed again reaching into his pocket, “Who do you want me to call mate?”
“No need to call, I will go,” he said, pulling out his keys only to have them snatched from his hand. Hoseok turned to see Yoongi grabbing Hoseok’s things and thanking the bartender. “What do you want?”
“I got a distressed call from Y/n she is hysterical, I have checked in every bar and searched the nearby streets for Jimin’s old van. Yoongi threw the keys to Jimin who was waiting by the abandoned van and Yoongi scooped Hoseok inside.
Hoseok woke as Yoongi turned the key in the ignition they were headed for his home, but Hoseok had other plans. “You knew didn’t you?” Hoseok growled, “Take me to her."
“Not in this state?” Yoongi said definitely. “You are going to sober up, and then tomorrow you can speak with her.”
“You take me there right now, or I will get out of this car and go there myself!” Hoseok demanded, attempting to remove his seatbelt.
“Alright, alright sit down, I will take you to see her, but if you raise your voice at her I will knock you out and drag you back to your apartment." Yoongi turned to Hoseok with a menacing glare. "Do you understand?”
He nodded needing answers and he wasn't going to stop until you gave them to him. They pulled up outside your home and as he walked to the door he felt as if his legs were weak, ready to give way. He knocked with shaking hands.
He didn’t have to wait long for you to pull open the door eyes pink and swollen from your own tears.
"Hobi, I-"
"Please don’t talk, you had your chance. This whole time, and you didn’t… You didn’t tell me, little darling.” His voice cracked as he held up a hand to stop you, “it’s my turn to talk, you can listen to me.”
He watched you wipe the tears away, he wanted to comfort you, you were his closest friend. He loved you so much and couldn’t bear to see you upset. “You knew we had sex, you knew what we did and you hid that from me, you fell pregnant and you hid that from me?”
“I told you when I lost my virginity, I told you when I scratched my dad’s car, I told you when I took money from my fathers wallet, or when I stole your homework. I told you when I was moving from home, I told you everything good and bad.” Hoseok pulled out the phone and played the video, the sounds of you two together filling the air. “But you couldn’t tell me, your best friend, that we did this? That I might be the father of this baby?”
“Hobi, I wanted to tell you I was-” Your tears were relentless and it looked like the weight of the world was crushing you with guilt. You looked lost, he knew there must be so much you wanted to say and explain but the words escaped you. All you could think to do was apologize, like some sort of animatronic doll with one function.
“Wanted to tell me isn’t telling me,” he frowned. “Say it, is this baby mine?”
“Yes, you are the father?” You whimpered, holding your stomach. Hoseok didn’t feel better. He didn’t feel better confronting you or getting the truth. He didn’t feel better watching you cry. “I didn’t want to ruin our friendship. You are all I have Hobi, and I love you.”
“I thought I loved you too. I thought I really truly loved you, that even though I wasn’t the father, I would step in if I could. It turns out the woman I fell in love with is nothing but a liar.” Hoseok turned away unable to see your face contort in pain from the words he was saying, “I am disappointed in you. You said you wanted to grow up, but this is so immature”
Demanding to leave, Yoongi took Hoseok and headed to the van once more, hoping that the two of you could rebuild your relationship. It was painfully obvious that you both were painfully in love, so much so, that it was breaking your hearts more to fight with one another, than over whatever the fight was about.
Tumblr media
You had spent the rest of the night crying until pure exhaustion took over your body and you fell asleep. No matter how many times you texted or called you got no response. You had left almost fifteen voicemails before you became too hysterical to speak. You were emotional and trying your hardest not to break down long enough for you to think things through.
It took four days and sitting in the bottom of the shower for ten minutes before you came to a decision. Even before Hoseok knew he was the father, you had planned to do it on your own. You weren't weak and you knew for certain that you would be okay. You had planned to raise this child as a single mother, you had hoped to tell Hoseok before all this happened, but you had planned for it just in case something like this did happen.
You could do this without Hoseok, but that didn't mean it didn't hurt, that you weren't mourning the relationship you had lost. You picked yourself up and put on a brave face crying only when you were alone as you single-handedly funded Ben and Jerry's company with the amount of ice cream you consumed.
You arrived at the next prenatal appointment. You watched all the couples cooing at their bellies and the little sonogram photos, as you sat alone quietly rubbing your belly and thinking how much you loved this child.
It strengthened your bond between you and your baby. You were working hard at your job, not ready to go on maternity leave as you didn’t know how financially stable you would be. You also worried because, without the distractions of work, you realized how alone you truly were and how much you missed Hoseok.
You wanted nothing more than to go back in time and take it all back. You wanted to get the courage and tell him. You would give anything to wake up beside him the morning after and just let yourselves deal with the aftermath.
Your mother's words echoed in your head, only able to be drowned out by the sound of your baby's heartbeat through the doppler, as the ultrasound technician measured your sweet little baby girl.
She had done no wrong and deserved only good things. It was on your way home from the scan that you decided to enter the baby boutique. You knew you were filling a Hoseok shaped void in your chest but you didn’t care, purchasing clothes, socks and shoes, and a tiny beanie all in mint green, white, or grey. At the checkout, you saw a small personal travel doppler for eighty dollars. It wasn’t as strong or as reliable as the one at the clinic but you bought it anyway.
It was the first thing you did when you got home, you put the gel on your stomach and pressed the doppler to your tummy, and listened to the tiny heartbeat and the swishing of the umbilical cord. The tears didn’t stop and that heartbeat in your belly was the mantra to which you swore to live your new life.
You were no longer living for yourself, you were living for your daughter, whom you loved so dearly. You stopped looking for Hoseok through the seventh and moved into the eighth month of your pregnancy feeling semi-okay.
Called by the marketing director to meet with the client, you followed him with documents, “Why did you pick me?” you asked
“You are the only one fit for this job,” He said, which made you feel odd, surely the pregnant lady wasn’t the first choice. However, you obeyed his orders, grabbed your coat, and followed to the restaurant where you were met with an unbelievable sight.
There was Hoseok standing by a beautiful woman dressed in a suit. Not only was it a punch to the chest, but it also left you self-conscious, resembling a chocolate egg. The way your body was so rotund did not do wonders for one's self-esteem.
Hoseok didn’t notice you until you stepped up to the table, your director announcing your arrival and greeting the young woman with a kiss on each cheek. “This is my hardest working assistant Miss Y/n,” The director said and you wondered again why he had chosen you to accompany him to the meeting.
“Well let’s get to business” the client smiled. You sat at the table and they brought out menus. “I will have the salmon en papillote, with a nice chardonnay.”
“I will have the same,” the marketing director said, attempting to look cool but you weren’t so sure.
“We will have the Steak au Poivre, I will take medium rare and she will have hers well done. What is in the side salad?” Hoseok asked and you looked up over the menu shocked by his audacity.
“We use a mesclun mix for its various colors and textures, with Lebanese cucumbers and avocado for a fresh and creamy taste and a drizzle of classic french vinaigrette” the waiter smiled politely.
“Skip the salads and instead vegetables would be preferable for both.” Hoseok closed the menu and looked up, the waiter looked at you for confirmation and you nodded handing over the menu.
“Have you two met before?” The client asked curiously and Hoseok shook his head, “It’s just you ordered for her?”
“She is pregnant so the best meat option is beef well cooked, and the salad would most likely make her sick due to the acidity in the vinaigrette.” Hoseok continued,  “the vegetables, though plain, will be easier to handle and will benefit her better than a salad. It is something I learned in a birthing class once”
“Yeah, and you haven’t been back since.” You scoffed, drinking your water trying to calm yourself so you didn’t explode with anger.
“I didn’t think I had to, seeing as I am not the father of any children.” He said dryly back and you stood up throwing the napkin at him, tears welling up in your eyes. You didn’t care if he didn’t like you and refused to acknowledge your presence ever again, but saying that about your child was not okay.
“You take that back, Hoseok." You almost shouted but restrained yourself due to the setting, Hoseok didn’t appear to move and you tilted your head back and took a shaky breath. “I am sorry, it seems I am feeling ill, allow me to leave first”
You stepped out the door and headed down the road trying to find a cab when a hand grabbed your arm. Disappointed when it turned out to be the marketing director. “I rescheduled our meeting, I am sorry, you had to deal with something like this, it must be stressful being so pregnant”
He touched your belly and you were a little uncomfortable. This man was a little too interested in your pregnancy. At first, you thought he was just a nice boss who was looking out for you, but it was clear he had some strange thoughts running through his mind.
When he said he would drive you home, you told him you had an appointment. Even then he was determined to take you to the appointment, but you waved down a cab and jumped in quickly. You arrived at Jin and Tonic for a much-needed appointment.
“I want a drink” you sighed and Seokjin gave you water and you looked up seriously. I want an actual drink Jin, I am going through the worst year of my life.”
“Worse than the time you tried to become a volunteer at a homeless center, where some weird lady cut chunks out of your hair, so you had to shave it off?"
"Then you got into a fight with Hoseok because he drew an arrow on your head while you were sleeping and everyone called you Aang,” Jimin added as he shed his small jacket, showing off a pretty choker chain necklace with a rose pendant. “Cause you said that was the worst year of your life.”
“This is worse,” you said. “At least I was the one angry at Hobi and I forgave him quickly, now he is angry at me and even denied being the father of our baby. That’s not even the worst of it. My boss has some sort of pregnancy fetish and keeps trying to touch my belly and I am not here for it”
“Pregnancy fetish?”
“It’s not sexy, I am swollen from the neck down, I couldn’t see my feet this morning. I just hope I wore the same shoes. My bladder is so squished I am peeing all the time, I am hormonal and sweaty, and I can’t fit into my favorite pajamas.” The hysterical sobbing was muffled by the bar and it made Jimin giggle behind his hand. He walked around to give you a hug and Jin presented you with an ice cream sundae in an effort to cheer you up.
“Dance with me, pretty lady,” Yoongi said, finishing his drink and taking your hand. He led you to the dance floor where you were slow dancing like you used to. “You are still as pretty as always. Okay, you may not feel beautiful right now due to all those things, but I promise that you are.”
“Thanks, Yoongi.” You tried to get close enough to hug Yoongi but your belly prevented you from doing so, he stepped behind you and wrapped his arms around you slipping his hands under your belly and swaying. He was trying to take some of the weight to relieve some pressure on your back. “You are amazing,”
“I am, aren't I.” He laughed, swaying you softly.

“What do you mean ‘all the bags are gone’?”
Your supervisor does not look amused. The girl with an abnormal amount of glitter on her face does not look amused. Hell, even you don’t look amused. The stadium hasn’t even begun to let the fans in and your merch booth ran out of the official “speak yourself”-bag ten minutes ago.
This job is in the top three most gruesome things you had to do for money. But money was tight, and you didn’t want to survive another summer on ramen and cheap wine. The job ad was harmless at first glance. Just another sales job. But they promised good pay and international traveling, which was enough to let your eyes linger. There was no company mentioned, just a post box.
It shouldn’t have come as a surprise when BigHit responded to your application a week later. With Bangtan’s rising popularity and the massive size of their tour, extra staff had to be hired. Still, the ARMY in you couldn’t contain her excitement. This was a big deal for you. Touring with one of your favorite kpop bands, traveling to Japan and getting first dips on all the merchandise? This was a no brainer. Hell, you would have even paid them to tag along. So you dressed to impress when you attended the interview, keeping your giddiness locked behind a professional smile.
“You want what?”, you ask – disbelieve coloring your voice.
“A blood test”, the interviewer repeats nonchalantly without looking up from her questionnaire.
Was this normal procedure? You had only ever worked in your aunt’s bookstore during senior year of high school and at a fast food place all through undergrad. Neither asked for your freaking bloodline.
“What? Do you discriminate certain blood types?”, you say in mock humor. A laugh disguised as a cough rings through the room, as the cute guy in the back of the room tries to hide his amusement. His eyes are locked on your features.
“We just want to make sure all our employees are healthy. You’ll be travelling to a foreign country, working long hours.”, the woman in front of you replies, ignoring your bad attempt at a joke. She continues: “You don’t have to – of course.”
“But then I won’t be asked back for a second interview, am I right?”
The woman looks you in the eyes for the first time since entering the room. She doesn’t look as evil as she sounds. “No”
So, you guess you’ll leave with a bit less body fluid than you anticipated.
There wasn’t a second interview. The test results came with a pre-signed contract.
***
“What the fuck is up with this boy today?”, Joo-Won swears as his eyes are glued to the screen in front of you. Your shift is officially over. Most of the merchandise is packed up, all the sold-out item IDs are sent to the head quarter and you already got a notification that the next delivery will be arriving first thing tomorrow morning. Now you’re sitting together with some crew members, a half-finished soju bottle in your hand and an empty carton of take-out on your lap. The guy at your job interview turned out to be quite fun.
Joo-Won introduced himself during the briefing on your first day in Japan. He is responsible for the ARMY Bomb stands, which seems to be a very big deal around here. This is his third tour with Bangtan and he seems to know nearly every henchmen in this operation. So it came to no surprise when a stage assistant invited you both to watch the concert from one of the twelve monitors backstage. Of course, you didn’t look too out of place with your name badge and the Love Yourself-hoodie you may or may not have purchased with your employee discount.
The stage assistant, whose name you can’t remember, is fuzzing with screen number five as you take another sip of your afterwork drink. You stare not really focusing on anything. Just blank nothingness.
“You did see this as well, right _______?”, Joo-Won asks breathlessly.
You can only nod. The Fake Love performance just ended. And even though all seven idols were on fire, the youngest was just out of control.
“What did we just see?”, the boy continues.
“Rudeness”, you answer and empty the bottle with a hefty swing. You knew Jungkook would lift his shirt. You were prepared as you had seen their comeback stage more times than you’d be comfortable to admit. This was not news to you. But the aggression in his stare, how dark he growled his verses, the hard edges on his mouth, not even hinting a friendly smile, was making you uncomfortable.
Before your new friend can respond his headset beeped. Joo-Won answer, his eyes still on the screen.
“Yeah?” After a beat his eyes flash to you. You squirm uncomfortably in your seat.
“_________ is with me”, he says and you need a second to register your role in the conversation.
Joo-Won’s stare lingers on your face – a silent question in his eyes.
“Sure, sir. I’ll bring her to you right away.” Then he ends the call sifting, so your knees are brushing against one another.
“Care to explain, why Bangtan’s prime management wants to speak with you, _______?”, your friend asks, no judgement in his voice. What?
***
“So, I have to sign another NDA?”, you ask the manager in front of you, trying to swallow your nervousness. This is the Sejin, Bangtan’s right hand advisor. Every fan knows him from countless Bangtan Bombs and can easily recognize the fathering care in his work.
“This one… is more specific”, he explains and moves the stack of papers to you. You try to calm your excited fingers as you grab at the legal document, flipping through it.
“And it’s time sensitive”, Sejin adds and searches your eyes for attention. You give it to him.
“Time sensitive?” The papers abandoned on the table. “Is something wrong with the boys?”
There will come a time and place when you reflect on the choice of calling these men “the boys” as if they were your closest friends. But it’s not today. Today you just see a glint in his eyes.
“Yes, it’s Jungkookie”, Sejin starts and your memories flash to their concert an hour prior. How Joo-Won and you both discussed how beastly the youngest looked – how aggressive.
“Wh-what?”, you answer in question. The manager’s hands move on top of yours.
“He is ill and … you might be able to help him. We can’t transport him. And we are not sure he’ll survive an ambulance ride.”
Your brain blanks as you stand up in a swift move. This is simple: One of your most cherished idols is ill and his trustworthy manager tells you that you’ll be able to help. This is a no brainer.
“Take me to him”, you order, not even caring that Sejin’s words are not making any sense. How can a twenty-four-year-old college dropout help the golden maknae? What even is his illness?
Sejin’s smile should have been another red flag. “Slow down, _________”, he sooths and moves around the table so he is standing in front of you. “This is important. You have to sign the documents. You’ll have to transfuse blood to him.” He is handling you a pen. “There are health risks. This isn’t … the most optimal environment for a blood donation.”
Jungkook needs your blood – memories of your job interview come back.
You sign the contract, not even reading all the small-printed clauses on the pages. Before the ink is even dry, Sejin is moving you through a long corridor. His hand rests on your neck – squeezing reassuringly. A glimmer travels across your body and you try to ground yourself. Of course you are nervous. This is reasonable. You’ll donate blood to one of your favorite idols. Maybe you’ll see him, when he gets better. Hell, maybe he’ll even thank you in person! Meeting Bangtan is the closest form to aspiration you have at the moment.
“When is the nurse coming?”, you question the logistics as you move towards the farthest door labeled “BTS”.
“Which nurse?” You look at Sejin in surprise – if not a nurse, who’ll take your blood?
“Then a doctor?”, you ask and Sejin shakes his head, a humorless chuckle escaping him while you both come to a halt in front of the door.
“There is… no time I’m afraid”, he answers – with remorse in his voice. There is a sinking feeling in your stomach, some of the fog lifted. How the hell should you give Jungkook your blood if there is not even a transfusion station here?
Sejin knocks at the door, ignoring your thumbing heartbeat and opens the door, softly pushing you into the room. “I’ll explain everything; I promise.”
***
The starving vampire smells your sweet blood as soon as the door opens – Sejin a mere decoration in his vision. Jungkook’s whole body turns towards you while your eyes nervously shift across the room. Time slows down as the maknae swiftly moves straight to you. His muscles ache and he cannot even recognize his swallow breathing. His stare is fixed on the nap of your neck – deliciously soft, milky. Not even the slightest imperfection in this human before him.
You do not even sense Namjoon’s and Seokjin’s presence as your eyes take in the predator advancing towards you. The older ones seem frozen as their youngest stops just a breath away from you. You look mouthwatering – clad in one of their merchandise hoodies, hair pinned in a mess at the top of your head, some bold eye make-up, but otherwise barefaced. You look… just right.
Before Jungkook’s grin spreads across his face, Jin takes action – trying to move between the sarved vampire and this … girl. What the hell was Sejin thinking just throwing her in here? Did he want this human dead so badly?
But the oldest is too late – Jungkook growls aggressively as he snatches you against his firm chest. All the air leaves your lungs – your breasts pressed painfully against solid muscle.
“Ahh”, you groan. As soon as the noise leaves your mouth, his lips descend against the white of your neck. The maknae hisses in pleasure; and then he is biting – hard.
Your scream misses the volume and you feel tears on your cheeks as you gaze into Seokjin’s overwhelmed eyes – hands outstretched.
Blood flows freely into Jungkook’s mouth and you hear a sickening slurping sound. The pain is blazing against your skin, every fiber of your body vehemently trying to get away from the maknae. But your fingers don’t push him away. No, the curl around his biceps – acting against every rational though inside your brain. You cling to the man sucking your blood as if he’s merely leaving a love bite.
The pain in your body slowly ebbs and you feel a bright bliss surrounding you. You’re not even sure if you are still standing at the door. There is no room – just lips against your neck and whimpers in your throat… and Namjoon’s voice far, far away.
“Jungkook stop now.”
“This is an order.”
“Jin, help me.”
“Let’s lay her down.”
“Is there a pulse?”
***
“How do you take your coffee?”, Yoongi asks while starring at you with such indifference in his eyes you’re not sure your answer even matters.
“Uhm- I” His sigh interrupts you as he makes his way from the couch across form you to the kitchenette. The whole room is dimmed in a soft light, the furniture a clean white. You feel your head spin as you try to recall what happened. Weren’t you backstage? Didn’t Jun-
“Jungkook”, your voice more of an accusation than a whisper. Yoongi’s back stiffens, but he continues to brew hot water over a ceramic filter and soon a soothing smell of coffee drifts towards you on the white leather.
“Jungkook sucked m-y – he su”
“-cked your blood. Damn girl, how hard did you hit your head when you fainted?”, your favorite rapper asks – his body finally turned towards you.
Slow, leisure steps are taken and then he sits in front of you, taking you all in. You must look like a mess; grease and sweat from your shift in the booth, plus the incident with the youngest vocalist in the band. All the blood. Your stomach turns around uncomfortably.
Yoongi is looking into your eyes and for a split second you see something other than complete boredom behind his stare, but as soon as you try to pinpoint the emotion, it vanishes.
“That’s what vampire do”, he continues and you heart reacts before the triggering word even registers in your brain. Vampire. No way.
“Go-ood one, Yoongi-ssi. This… this isn’t – some romance novel for teenagers”, you scoff, disbelieve in your voice while your heart beats hard against your chest. Without missing a beat, the idol is in your face – literally just millimeters away. The air is stuck in your lungs as you try to calm yourself.
“You know what I hate, dumb human?”
His fingers draw lines across your face – just a feathering touch, barely more than an illusion. You can only shake your head; afraid your voice will give out if you try to answer verbally.
His face moves down to your neck as his hands frame your face – no longer brushing but locking your head into place. Then his mouth dives into your neck, just resting against your pulse. You can feel the sinister smile against your skin as you shiver.
“Talking to dumb people”, his lips vibrate and you feel goosebumps traveling across your body.
“You have all the proof, but your silly little brain still doesn’t – connect the pieces”, Yoongi trails small kisses across your collarbone; a stark contrast to his insulting words.
“Do you really think our little maknae just has a blood kink?”
He moves to the other side of your neck, while titling your head forcefully to the left. You can’t move your body – muscles frozen into place. You’re just passively… enduring what your favorite idol does to you. Now his teeth are grazing your right earlobe, as his voice drops another octave into a threatening growl.
“That we just hire a college dropout because of her work ethics?”
His words hurt, but you’re more concerned with the information behind them. They know about you, must have read your file. Shame colors your cheeks and Yoongi’s nose inhales deeply against the red of your skin.
“You smell fucking delicious”, he moans and places an open mouth kiss against your rosé cheek. You can feel his saliva on your skin and a whimper of your own escapes your throat.
“You like that, dumb human? Knowing I’d love… nothing more than to bite in your flesh? Drain you dry?”, he slurs. You both know that this is nothing more than a rhetorical question – your heart, your breathing and the wetness between your tights enough evidence.
But before he can act on his words, a searing pain flashes through your brain.
“Argh”, you groan pressing your head against his cold hands with virgo. The dead skin of his fingertips sooths the throbbing in your brain temporarily. But he knows that your time is nearing its end.
“Human, listen to me”, he whispers, his previously threatening tone making place for urgent whisper.
“When you wake up” What? His hands still a vise to keep you grounded, while the pain in your head expands to your whole body. “Damn human, focus!”
He searches your eyes for recognition, but your stare moves around the room – now noticing how alien the light looks, how… clean the colors are. Is this? Are you still sleeping? How?
“When you wake up”, Yoongi’s voice nothing more than a vibrating hum in your ears, “Say no to Namjoon.”
Now he is shaking you. “Say no”
***
“Good morning, sleepyhead”, Namjoon says after you open your eyes – the morning sun blinding you momentarily.
“I made you coffee”, he adds as he pushes a steaming mug in your hands. The familiar smell takes you back to your dream, to Yoongi, his words, his plea – and you gape at the leader in front of you.
“I thought we could talk?”

And not just with any chapter but a long-ish chapter full of Caleo fluff :) I really hope you guys enjoy! Please let me know what you think because I 100% mean it when I say I love reading your comments!!

previous chapter / AO3
Once Calypso had made up with Leo and Annabeth, she had new issues to deal with. When she paid her rent for the month, she noticed that she only had enough money for one more month’s rent, not even including the other living costs such as food, other daily necessities and school supplies. She had pushed back the job hunting earlier partially because the friendship issues had made her feel too low to care about that kind of thing, partially because she had no idea what she could do, only having a high school level education and no special skills. She had only ever worked at her father’s company and that was not something she wanted to advertise in her applications. But now she was in a situation that unless she wanted to return to the very place she wanted to stay away from, she had to come up with something.
Annabeth and Piper had seen some of the clothes and other items she had sewed and made with her own hands and encouraged her to sell them but Calypso herself wasn’t entirely convinced they were good enough to be sold. She was also a decent enough artist but with a class full of artists just as good (some even better) than her, what would make her stand out in the public? Her people skills weren’t amazing either so she doubted that she would make a good retail worker. But she knew she would probably have to come out of her comfort zone in this case, so if anyone was willing to hire her, she’d accept it.
She was startled when she suddenly heard a familiar voice from the other room: “Sunshine, I’mma head out to buy some groceries and stuff for a new project. You need anything?”
In some other situation, Calypso would have been thankful for the offer, but she was still feeling like a nervous wreck because of her earlier discovery. That’s why the words escaped her before she could stop herself: “Huh? No, I don’t think so? And I can still buy my own groceries, thank you very much.”
“Sorry, I just thought I’d ask… I didn’t mean to…” Leo seemed a bit baffled by her outburst. He was already about to head out when Calypso came out of her room and stopped him.
“No, I’m sorry.” She sighed, looking regretful. “I was just on the edge because I just noticed my financial situation isn’t exactly the best… But that is something I need to figure out on my own, I don’t want charity.”
“Well, I wasn’t gonna buy you a car or anything,” Leo tried to crack a joke. “Just thought that if you’re running out of milk or something, I could have saved you the trouble… Since I’m going there anyway…”
“Oh… no, I don’t think I need anything,” she said, this time a lot softer. “But thank you for asking.”
“No prob, Sunshine,” Leo replied, looking relieved now that he knew she wasn’t actually angry at him. “But hey, if you do need help with, like, searching for a job, or something, I’m your man.”
Calypso tried to keep her face neutral even though she had a feeling her cheeks were probably red. “I’ll… keep that in my mind.”
“Well, see you soon,” Leo said after the two just kept staring at each other for a while. He seemed to be sizing her, possibly still a bit thrown off by her weird reaction before he put his coat on (Calypso noticed it was the same shade of red as a lot of his shirts seemed to be. And it was also rather snugly fit, definitely not a bad sight, she thought before she had time to stop herself) and took his bags, leaving her alone.
“See you,” she said quietly when the door was already closed.
Once sure that Leo was far enough and not coming back, Calypso leaned her back against the wall of her room, sliding down into a sitting position on the floor. Throwing her head back, she groaned at herself. She had thought that the small falling out they had had because of the Percy incident might have affected her feelings towards Leo, but it seemed to become clearer and clearer every day that wasn’t the case. Even if she had admitted to Hazel and Annabeth that those feelings were not quite flatmate like, it was a whole different thing to really come to terms with that fact. She was falling quite hard.
The more she thought about it, the more she freaked out. Her relationships before one faithful day during her teenage years had failed badly (and that was over 5 years ago anyway) and the online dating she had done afterwards… Well, now that Calypso thought about it, only the conversation with Percy had seemed to be going somewhere. All the people she had cared about had left her and never come back. That, along with the fact that she had spent a lot of time alone in the past, had left her scared of relationships and ruined her self esteem, making her think that she simply wasn’t good enough. If Leo left too… she wasn’t sure how she’d handle that. Not to even mention, her dad was still probably looking for her and getting Leo mixed into that would be very dangerous for him. No matter what Annabeth said about wanting to help.
Biting her lip, she decided there was only one option. No matter what she felt, she should try to treat Leo just like any of her friends and conceal her true feelings. Having Leo in her life just as a flatmate was way better than not having him in it at all. When she remembered her friends’ hints that perhaps Leo himself wasn’t as indifferent to her as he probably should be, she suddenly felt like crying. In different circumstances… maybe they could be happy together, go on dates, hold hands… Now she would inevitably have to let him go when someone else would realize that Leo was a great person worth dating.
Calypso didn’t know how long she had been sitting there, and she also hadn’t noticed that there were tears running down her cheeks. She didn’t snap out of her daze until she heard the front door clunking again, this time indicating that Leo had already returned.
“Please just ignore me…” Calypso ranted in her head, but no luck. She heard steps from outside her room, stopping right in front of it. Swiping her wet cheeks quickly into her hands, she stood up from the floor just in time for Leo to knock on her door. Calypso didn’t really want to open it when she was in that emotional state but she knew that not answering would raise even more questions. Her messy looks she could always try to shrug off as a ‘bad day’, she decided.
“Yeah?” she asked weakly, opening the door to reveal her flatmate with that stupid trademark grin of his on his face. He seemed pretty happy about something he had or was about to do. The late autumn wind had made his curly hair even messier than usual and his cheeks were red from the cold weather and the exercise but his eyes were sparkling excitedly, like he couldn’t wait to show her something. He started: “I went to the hardware store and…” He quickly stopped when he noticed Calypso’s expression and puffy eyes. His happiness immediately melted away. “Hey, what’s wrong? Have you been crying?”
“It’s been a rough day,” Calypso sighed, looking down. “Don’t worry, I was just being overwhelmed by the loads of uni work before the exam season. And like I told you before, I need a job… But… it’s nothing I can’t handle.”
“Alright, if you’re sure…” Leo narrowed his eyes slightly, probably sensing that she wasn’t telling him the entire truth. “But yeah, I was gonna give you something. Hope it cheers you up a bit. He handed her a tiny packet of what seemed like flower seeds but before Calypso had time to read the text on it, he started explaining.
“So, I was gonna tell you that I went to the hardware store to buy me some supplies, and you know how they sell all kinds of seeds there as well? Well, I just happened to notice these while waiting for my turn to pay for my stuff and I just randomly decided to buy them.”
“But… why?” Calypso asked, finally looking at Leo directly.
“Um…” He started rubbing the back of his neck. “Remember when Festus jumped on your desk and broke it? There was a plant on it too… and I never replaced it. When I saw those,” he nodded towards the packet Calypso was holding, “I remembered that the plant looked like that… At least I think it did… I’m no good with that kind of stuff… But I know you care about your plants… so I thought it’d be only fair if I got you those. I know it’s not gonna be the exact same one you had, but…”
Leo didn’t manage to finish his sentence because Calypso couldn’t contain her feelings anymore. She closed the space between them and hugged him even tighter than the time they had had a game night with Jason and Piper. No one had gotten anything for her in years, and even if the seed bags didn’t cost much, it was the thought that mattered way more to her. She had never expected him to remember such a detail from several months ago when they hadn’t even been friends, but apparently he did.
“Uh, Cal, some air would be nice,” Leo said jokingly when it started seeming she didn’t even want to let him go. He didn’t attempt to break the hug, though, instead gently stroking her back. “Wow, Sunshine,” he said in an attempt to lighten the mood, “You’d think I bought you a house based on your reaction.”
Calypso raised her head from his shoulder, giving him a half hearted glare as she broke the hug.
“I’m not allowed to be thankful for a gift? You don’t know… You don’t understand…”
“Understand what?” Leo raised his eyebrows.
Calypso took a deep breath before answering. “I haven’t gotten gifts from anyone since I turned 16. And even then it was just… uh, never mind. The point is that I’m not used to such nice gestures… And I didn’t think you’d remember… It was my favorite plant. So excuse me if I’m feeling a bit emotional because your gift was more thoughtful than you probably realized.”
“OK, sorry,” Leo apologized quickly. “If you’re not used to nice gestures, I’m not used to displays of affection so I got a bit surprised, that’s all… Well, either way, I’m glad I got you something you care about.”
Calypso’s expression softened again. “Yeah. Thank you. I’m sure they will look pretty.”
Suddenly Calypso realized she was feeling a little dizzy, not sure if from the crying or from the smell of the mechanic oil she had just smelled on Leo’s shirt as she had hugged him. Sitting down on her bed, she leaned her face into her hands.
“Um, are you really OK?” Leo asked. “I know it’s not any of my business, but… if I can help you somehow, let me know.”
After a while, Calypso looked up from her hands, having half expected Leo to leave already. “If you happen to know anyone who’d be willing to hire an inexperienced, uneducated young woman, sure, be my guest,” she muttered.
“Hey.” Leo sat down next to Calypso on her bed, nudging her arm slightly. “Where’s the Calypso who has told me to fight my fear? I’m sure there are plenty of people out there who’d be willing to hire you if they knew how talented you are.”
“Wait… what?” Calypso wasn’t sure if she had heard right. Even if they had been friendly towards each other for a while now, she didn’t remember Leo complimenting her like that before. “Why would you say that?”
“Because it’s true!” Leo exclaimed, his eyes gleaming fiercely the same way Calypso had seen a couple of times earlier. “You are a talented person and even I can see that. You can draw and paint I bet you’d do way better blueprints for machines than I do. To be honest, I’d probably hire you to do that if I could. You create a lot of things with your own hands – like that one dress you wore the other day, right? Like, OK, I wear overalls all the time so you can take my opinion with a grain of salt, but I thought it looked neat.”
“But…”
“But there are other things as well,” Leo continued persistently. “You know a lot and you’re always working on something – if not something university related, you take care of your plants or bake or something like that – and I think under that hard cover of yours you’re actually a super caring person. I dunno, those are things that at least I value. But maybe I’m the weird one here.” He rolled his eyes as if everything he had just said had been very obvious.
“Leo…” Calypso just stared at him with wide eyes, not finding the right words. She hadn’t been emotionally prepared for Leo showering her with compliments. If her cheeks had felt warm earlier, they were definitely burning now, and her eyes felt weird too… like she was going to cry again. “I…”
“Shhh. Crying doesn’t suit you, Sunshine. Luckily Uncle Leo is good at bad jokes that make the ladies laugh. How about this: What do you give to a sick lemon? Or… why didn't the astronaut come home to his wife?”
“Leonidas,” Calypso repeated but this time she did it with an annoyed groan. That was apparently what Leo had wished, though, because he grinned at her in return.
“Alright, I won’t finish that one!” he raised his hands up. “But it did work because there’s still some spice left in you. That’s what I wanted to see.”
“You’re the only person I know who can literally go from 100 to 0 when trying to cheer someone up,” Calypso said, but her mouth twitched. “But thanks. As much as I hate to admit it, I think it might have worked. For your information,” she added unexpectedly, “you give lemon aid to a sick lemon and the astronaut needed his space.”
“I think my job here is done,” Leo said approvingly, taking one step closer to her. Calypso had seen his brown eyes sparkling when he was happy and burning when he was mad but now she thought they seemed soft and warm, unlike she had seen before. And her heart skipped a beat when she registered that the reason for the warmth might have been… she herself. He looked at her right in the eyes and brushed a lock of her hair behind her ear before his fingers moved to her face. He brushed some of the wetness off with his thumb and for one, short second Calypso thought that he also wanted to do something else… touch her jaw, her lips… But that moment ended fast when he cleared his throat and pulled his hand away. One, tiny part of Calypso’s brain yelled: “no!” while the rational part tried to be relieved.
“Um… You had something there…” Leo tried to brush his previous actions off. “Anyway. Like I said I have no doubt someone wouldn’t hire you. But now that I think of it, I remember hearing from my moms that one of their friends is looking for a holiday helper at her flower shop that is quite near Waystation. The holidays are always a busy time there and the owner’s daughter, who has usually been the one helping, has moved away, so they could really use an extra hand.”
“A flower shop?” Calypso asked, hope starting to flicker in her eyes. “Do you think they may have a lot of applicants?”
“Who knows.” Leo shrugged. “I think it might be a pretty popular place… but you can’t win if you don’t try, huh?”
“Yeah. You’re right,” Calypso agreed. “Do you know how I can contact the place?”
“Hold on for a moment. I can call Emmie and ask,” Leo said and left Calypso alone in her room, baffled by what had just happened but also a bit hopeful. Maybe at least something would turn out right even if her social life would probably continue to be a mess.
A few minutes later Leo returned with a piece of paper in his hands and a satisfied expression on his face. It told Calypso that he had managed to get the number.
“Here you go, Sunshine! Hope you’ll still remember me and how I helped you when you become rich and famous.” He winked.
“I know I’ve told you this before but you really are a weirdo,” Calypso shot back but took the piece of paper gratefully. She excused herself to make a phone call and managed to get a hold of the owner of the flower shop who suggested a meeting for the next day. After finishing the phone call, Calypso searched for Leo who had withdrawn into the living room to watch a movie.
“So… I’m going to have an interview with the owner tomorrow,” she told him. “Keep your thumbs up that it will go fine. I’m kind of nervous, to be honest.”
“I’d keep even my big toes up if needed but I think you’re gonna do great,” Leo noted. “For reals. Have some faith.”
“Easier said than done,” Calypso sighed. “You probably understand.”
“I… yeah,” Leo admitted, thinking about one moment only about a week earlier when he had felt like nothing would work out. “But for what it’s worth, there are people who do support you.”
“You too?” Calypso asked carefully even though she was a bit scared of his answer.
“Yeah, me included.” Leo nodded.
“Listen, Leo… Thanks… for everything you’ve done for me today. Not just the seeds and the phone number, the emotional support too. It really helped.”
She surprised even herself by leaning closer to Leo and giving him a quick peck on his cheek. He went completely speechless and just rubbed the spot on his cheek Calypso had kissed absentmindedly as Calypso waited for him to say something.
“Uhh… you… you’re welcome?” he finally stuttered when Calypso had already started thinking she had crossed some line with the cheek kiss and they were back on square one.
“I should probably go back to do some research…” she said. “I’ve had a hard time focusing on anything lately but I’m feeling better now so hopefully I will manage to make some progress with some assignments. Have fun with your movie!” She attempted to sound cheerful even though the two sides of her brain were having an intense battle in that moment. One said: ‘why don’t you just stay with him? The assignment can wait!” while the other side wanted to run from that situation before Calypso did something she would regret.
“Alright… Thanks. And good luck with that!” Leo said. Calypso was convinced that she just imagined it but to her he had seemed just a bit disappointed that she hadn’t joined him. When she was back in her room, she exhaled sharply. So much for that ‘being just friends’. She would really have to start working harder on that before someone got hurt.

Perfect moment (Jaskier x Reader) - Modern AU!
This might seem like a stupid plot, but I saw that you did AU, so could I please request a modern AU!The Witcher oneshot or ficlet with Jaskier x female reader where he takes the reader to Disneyland, where he plans on proposing to the reader. Bonus points if it also involves Geralt and Yennefer hating the sight of all the bright colours, everyone being cheerful, etc and little Ciri getting all excited!
A/N: It was so pleasant to write this and I hope you can forgive me all the mistakes I made. Also I try my best to write all my stories as gender neutral as possible, so I hope you don’t mind that.
Title: Perfect moment Fandom: The Witcher (modern AU) Pairing: Jaskier x Reader Genre: Fluff Warnings: None right now   Words: 1283
Tumblr media
The queue before the entrance was slowly staring to kill your feet – so much that you were tempted to just sit down right where you were standing – but the hand of your boyfriend kept you in place and you didn’t want to struggle away from the grasp. It also didn’t want help that the burning and despiteful gazes of Geralt and Yennefer were almost burning the hole in your back. Not like they blamed you for being stuck in the place like this, but the excited screams of young children all around made Geralt twitching in a will to both ignore them and shut them up. On the other hand, Yennefer would feel well among all of those kids, but then there was Cirilla who decided to run the whole queue up and front, asking from time to time about different costumes.
“So what are…plans for today. If you are planning to stand with me to any Disney princess, I am turning my back and walking away right now” he grunted, fixing the hat on Ciri’s head before letting her head for another run in the crowd, despite all his mood keeping an eye for her.
“Oh, I already thought about it! So we can go on some rides and then grab some food, I know it isn’t the cheapest in here, but also they told there is something interesting that you always can’t try elsewhere. Also, we maybe need to get to the queue, but only to the princess Ciri and you want to go. But-“ Jaskier was full into the immersing the surroundings and the information all around, but at the same time, but what he didn’t expect was being cut off by his friend who stood at the back.
“Yes, the overpriced items sold by people who pretend to live in the delusional place and are paid to tell lies to children, with people dressed in the heavy dresses no matter the weather, rides full of split drinks and popcorn and what else one could find in there, and also-“ Geralt also began his tirade, but awkwardly cut it when he noticed Jaskier waving his hand frantically behind your back, hoping to get even a bit of the signal that the mood of your group with that attitude will drop faster than the biggest ride.
“I think there is still something to find under this cheap and shoddy costumes and exposition, and probably…time to enjoy yourself keeping away from all of that” Jaskier wasn’t sure if Yennefer was truly trying to make things better or worse. He couldn’t be sure with her attitude that presented somehow disgust, somehow interest while she could take a peek at all those kinds having just fun all around her.
Your lips twitched in some kind of small smile but you didn’t feel that there was much excitement left for anything that was happening. Not like you despised now the thought of the thrill, but at this time when the companions with you were already thinking about it in a negative way, there was no way you could hold excitement for long.  It came to your mind that there was probably no reason why they tagged along and why they would even come to you and Jaskier. But there was also no way od deciding what to do now – first, you have to get pass through the whole queue.
                                                           ***
“What do you think would be the best option?” the question you asked to hang in the air and you wondered why prying your gaze away from the toys you were struggling to chose from. Upon noticing that none of the companions that came with you here were in sight – how is that they could vanish almost instantly, but when no one needed them they could roar through the crowd like tsunami wave – so that brought some kind of suspicions. Reaching for your phone, you did your best to dial the number to any of your friends, but if it was for the noise or for any other issue, they didn’t pick up.
So you decided that the best thing did stay in the place, knowing that the size of the park will make you lost for days if you decide to set to look for them right now. That or you could ask for help any of the members of the staff, but you were adult, not a lost child – if you could wait and try to reach your friends and boyfriend later, there was no need to panic after one line of a non-answered phone call. You decided it was a good idea, especially when you felt the vibration of your phone inside your pocket. What you didn’t expect when you answered was a huge noise in the background that Jaskier tried to overshout.
“PLEASE COME TO A STAR WARS ZONE! CIRI IS MISSING, PROBABLY ON HER WAY TO JOIN THE FIRST ORD-AU! DON’T HIT ME, GERALT! BUT PLEASE JUST COME!” With that, the connection was dropped and you just sighed, though the corner of your lips raised in a small smile. At least you couldn’t say that this day wasn’t interesting.
                                                           ***
You finally felt some peace when you sat down on one of the  benches, walking almost the whole day from one part of the park to another, enjoying your day as much as possible. Your legs were killing you and you felt your clothes sticky with some sweets you managed to grab as well as your sweat. This was tiring and yet so satisfying event that will probably stick with you for long. With a loud sigh, your head moved to rest on the shoulder of your boyfriend, enjoying the warm arm that he wrapped around you. But then, soon he jumped from his place, surprising you in every bit.
“Just warn me next time you do something like that!” you whined, rubbing your head that you hit on the wood of the bench. Squinting at him, your face quickly turned from grumpy to honestly surprised when you saw your boyfriend kneeling on the road, with people all around now turning their heads toward you. The redness came to your face when you thought that probably some families now grinned at you, probably silently cheering whatever was happening, especially when a velvet box found its way to Jaskiers’ hands.
Your breath was taken away on the glimpse of ring resting in there, hearth beating now so fast that you almost thought it was going to jump from your chest. Eyes travelled to the face of the man that was now kneeling in front of you, a stupid grin plastered to his face as he also seemed to be stressed as much as he was feeling joy.
“Listen, I came here hoping that I may find the perfect moment for both of us to just have this, but, I must say, every moment with you is perfect. And though I know I sometimes can’t shut up, just drag things all around or talk too much…I love you and if you accept me for who I am, I want to love you for the rest of my days. So…what you say (Y/N)? Will you marry me?”.
You never knew how exactly you found yourself on your feet. How you moved his hands toward him, wrapping them all around his neck, causing you two to fall on the ground in a bit of trembling mess. But you knew the moment that when you shouted “I will!”, there was a clapping all around and you couldn’t care less – the only thing that counted for you was the man that you held in your arms.

Happy Together
Summary: Klaus fluff, but this time he has a wife.
(Klaus Hargreeves x Reader)
Warnings: Mentions of drug and alcohol use, but mostly fluffy, with some implied smut
Word Count: 1,436
Requested by: @tinabazinga
A/N: I decided to give Klaus a wife. I was requested domestic fluff, so here we are. Klaus deserves good things and he’s my absolute favourite! I hope you enjoy this one. I’m working my way through requests at the moment, so bear with me!
“Oo, is someone having a party?” (Y/N) said, as she walking into the living room of the Academy.
“No,” Alison replied, rolling her eyes, “Luther decided today was the day to organise dad’s liquor cabinet.”
The bar was lined with bottles containing various kinds of alcohol. They all looked extremely fancy and expensive. “I give it ten minutes before Klaus breaks one of those,” (Y/N) said, gesturing to the bottles.
“Alison, Diego and I already placed bets,” Luther said, chuckling as he reached up to the top shelf to take a bottle hidden at the back.
“Did someone say party?” Klaus’ head popped up from under the bar. (Y/N) wasn’t surprised that he’d been hiding out under there. He’d probably stolen something and was drinking it out of sight. Luther shook his head, “How long have you been under there?”
Klaus clambered to his feet, using the bar as support. “Let’s throw a party!” he said, his words slightly slurred. (Y/N) smirked, walking over to help him move to the sofa.
“I asked if you were having a party. I didn’t tell you to have one,” she said, seating Klaus before sitting down next to him herself.
“No time for parties,” Luther added, “We have to get all of this tidy. I promised mum we would have it sorted by this evening.”
Alison groaned, Diego following suit. “Luther, we’re tired. We’ve been at this all day. Can we at least take a break for some food?” Alison asked.
“Food! Excellent idea,” Klaus piped up. He snuggled himself into (Y/N)’s shoulder, pressing a kiss against her neck. (Y/N) ruffled his hair, enjoying how affectionate he was being, even if it was mostly due to alcohol. “Come on, big guy,” she said, “Let’s get you some water and food and sober you up.” She took his hand in hers and pulled him off the sofa. His body had become deadweight, which he of course found hilarious. “Diego, a little help please?” (Y/N) asked. Diego tutted, but slung one of Klaus’ arms over his shoulder and guided him to the bedroom he and (Y/N) shared.
They dropped Klaus to the bed and Klaus immediately wrapped himself in the blanket.
“Thanks, Diego,” (Y/N) smiled at her brother-in-law. He nodded and left the room.
“Hey, (Y/N)?” Klaus said, his voice muffled under the blanket.
“Yeah?” she asked, perching on the end of the bed.
“Can I have a grilled cheese?”
“Of course, you can, Klaus. I’ll be back in a minute.”
She stood up and looked to the space at the end of the bed, “Ben, keep an eye on him and make sure he doesn’t go wandering off please.”
Being around Klaus pretty much 24/7 had given her a good sense of when Ben was there and where he usually was.
“Ben says sure, but he can’t make any promises,” Klaus said.
(Y/N) chuckled and made her way down to the kitchen, where the other siblings were already having lunch.
(Y/N) and Klaus had been married for three years and together for ten. After the whole apocalypse situation settled down and the siblings managed to somehow reverse it, Klaus had decided that life was too short and unpredictable to waste. That was when he proposed to (Y/N). He had also made a vow that day to sober up. He hadn’t taken any form of drug since the day he proposed. He allowed himself to get a little tipsy occasionally, but that was it. However, on the day of their wedding, he didn’t have a sip of alcohol. Klaus had told (Y/N) that he didn’t need any high other than how in love he was with her, to which Five had chimed in saying, “That is so sappy, I might vomit.”
Klaus had met (Y/N) at a college party he had stumbled into. She attended the college, while he didn’t. They immediately took a liking to each other and, after only a few short weeks of dating, Klaus told her about his powers. Not long after did he ask her to move in with him. When the siblings reunited, both (Y/N) and Klaus moved into the Academy. It was a grand step up from the tiny apartment they had been living in beforehand and (Y/N) was glad to leave the mould and rats behind. It had been an adjustment, living with the siblings, but it was one they had gotten used to.
“Hey, (Y/N),” Five waved, as she walked into the kitchen. (Y/N) smiled at the boy, wise beyond what his appearance may imply. He enjoyed (Y/N)’s company, as she wasn’t as crazy as Klaus, but also not as uptight as Luther or Diego. To him, she was a happy medium.
“How’s Klaus?” Alison asked.
“He’s okay. He’s requested a grilled cheese and has hopefully by now drifted off. I’m just praying Ben doesn’t let him go rogue around the house,” (Y/N) said.
“You’re in luck,” Luther said, “I’ve just made grilled cheese and I have extra.” He handed (Y/N) a plate and two sandwiches, along with a tall glass of water.
“You’re a star,” (Y/N) smiled.
“Good luck,” Alison called after her, as she left the kitchen to deliver Klaus his lunch.
“Klaus?” (Y/N) called, a hint of worry in her tone when she entered the room and couldn’t see her husband.
“I’m in here,” came a muted reply. It sounded like he was in the wardrobe. She set the grilled cheese and water down and went to open the wardrobe, only to burst into uncontrollable laughter at the sight of Klaus. He was sat, cross-legged, in the bottom of the wardrobe, wearing what seemed like every item of clothing he could find.
“What on earth are you doing?” (Y/N) managed, through snorts.
“I wanted to look like Luther,” he said, holding his arms out to show the bulkiness caused by all the jumpers he was wearing. “You must be boiling,” (Y/N) said, taking his hands and hauling him out of the wardrobe. She began delayering him as best she could, or at least until he decided he was bored of being cooperative, and started to tickle her. They both collapsed on the bed, among a heap of t-shirts and jumpers, laughing so hard that tears began streaming down their faces.
“Klaus… Get… Off!” (Y/N) breathed.
“Would you believe, my dear, that I am completely sober now?” he said, ceasing tickling to take her face in his hands and plant a delicate kiss on her nose.
“Not even slightly, love, but you’re getting there and I’m proud of you for it,” she replied. She retrieved the grilled cheese, cold by now, and the glass and passed them to him. “Eat up. Luther’s specialty,” (Y/N) grinned.
Klaus groaned, “I better not find a hair in this.” He sat up and tucked in. The sandwich was gone in mere seconds and he downed the water somehow even faster. He hiccupped, making himself laugh again. He was still tangled in a few remaining jumpers that (Y/N) hadn’t managed to get off him yet.
“Let’s take these off and how about we listen to some music in bed?” (Y/N) suggested, tugging at the hem of one of the jumpers, “I’m not overly sold on the fact that you’ve stretched out my jumpers by layering them so much.”
Klaus pulled the last few over his head. “I was experimenting,” he said, “And it made you laugh, so clearly it wasn’t a waste of time.” He pulled the bottom of (Y/N)’s shirt, then started to play with the buttons. She grabbed his hand to stop him. “Is Ben around?” she asked, glancing quickly round the room. Usually she could have a good sense for if he was there, but she would always double check before getting changed or having a bath or any other fun stuff.
Klaus shook his head. “Ben disappeared during the tickle war,” he said, poking (Y/N)’s side, “Said it was a bit sappy or something.”
“In that case,” (Y/N) continued, unbuttoning her shirt and sliding it off her shoulders, “Naked cuddles it is.” She flicked the ‘on’ switch on the little radio next to the bed and slowly began undressing. Klaus did the same, then climbed under the covers and pulled her close to him. He ran his fingers through her hair, humming along to ‘Happy Together’, as it played. (Y/N) twirled her wedding ring around her finger, revelling in how peaceful her life was in that moment.
Of course, this peace wouldn’t last forever, as one of the siblings would probably need their help. But, for now, it was perfect bliss.

Replacement Scrunchie - 1/1 | covinsky fanfiction
A/N: My first TATBILB fic is here! I can’t remember the last time I was this proud of my characterization the first time writing a ship. I hope you enjoy this post-movie fluff! <3
*Big HAPPY BIRTHDAY to @simplylove101!! Love you, hun! Hope this makes your day!! :D
*Many thanks to @valeriemperez for beta’ing. :)
Synopsis: Post-movie - Peter has a surprise for Lara Jean on their first official date as a couple.
Things were great with Peter. Not just great; incredible.
Everything they did was the same. They still held hands. They went to parties. They had movie nights with Kitty. They hung out with his friends at lunch. Well, their friends now. But they also did stuff with her friends – Chris and Lucas – too. They got along with him great and vice versa.
Peter still stuck his hand in her back pocket when they walked together, and he still wrote her little notes – which she loved. She started writing him notes too, which he got a kick out of. She thought he was making fun of her at first, but when she was hanging by his locker one day, she saw they were practically pouring out of the open front pocket of his backpack and proceeded to tease him. He blushed fiercely, so she figured they were even.
The best part of all of this was that it was real. Maybe it had grown to be real before, but with all the pretending, it was hard to decipher what was real and what wasn’t. It had hurt to think about because she was falling for him, and she had figured she was supposed to assume it was all fake.
But now she knew none of it was. It felt so good to know that. Every smile, every laugh, every touch, every compliment, every grand gesture was 100% real. She never thought a real relationship could be this good. And for his sake, as well as her own, she tried not to dwell on how crushed she’d be if it all ended.
Today, that fear wasn’t even a thought in her mind. Because today was the day Peter was taking her on their first official date – just the two of them – as a couple. No younger siblings or friends or parents. And yeah, he wasn’t taking her to a fancy restaurant or the movies. In fact, they were going to a crowded mall food court, the kind where depending on the time of day, your voice either echoed throughout the entire room or you couldn’t hear yourself think.
Right now, it was happy medium. Lara Jean loved how he somehow knew when that was.
They’d finished lunch and were talking casually. Sometimes she lost her train of thought because he was holding her hands across the table, playing with her fingers; and when she met his eyes and saw his gaze so full of adoration with that little smirk at the corner of his lips, she couldn’t help but melt. Sometimes it was just hard to believe this was her new reality.
“Hey, do you think – would you mind if I just – Hold on just one second.” He held up a finger, then pressed a quick peck to her lips and scampered down the wide hall towards the little shops.
She was overwhelmed briefly by the feel of his kiss on her lips, reveling in the slight buzzing she felt whenever his lips pressed against hers. But then it was over, and she turned to look in the direction he’d gone.
“Peter! What are you-” She started to get up.
He turned around, walking backwards for a few steps.
“Stay there! I’ll be right back!” he called to her. “Just…wait.”
And then he was darting away, still walking faster than normal until he’d gone around the corner, and she could no longer see him.
Confused but reminding herself trust was key, as he’d said, she sat back down.
The next five minutes felt like torture. Finally, the sound of her own fingers drumming drumming on the table nearly drove her mad. Since she couldn’t seem to stop, she got up instead and went in the direction Peter had gone.
She came to an abrupt stop when she saw him purchase an item inside a girly store that sold, amongst other things, hair accessories, jewelry, hats, and purses.
Watching him quizzically as he thanked the cashier, she gave him a judgy look when he walked out of the store and found her staring straight at him.
“Do I wanna know?” she asked, a smirk now tugging at her lips.
He laughed. “I can explain.”
“Really,” she deadpanned but smiled because the hopeless-slash-dreamy look on his face was always her undoing. “I’m listening.”
He handed the little white plastic bag over to her.
“Here.” She took it hesitantly, glancing at it suspiciously, until she heard him laugh. “Just look inside already, would you?”
She met his eyes. “It’s for me?”
He rolled his eyes and closed the distance between them, putting his hands on her hands.
“Yes. Now look inside, Covey, before I do it for you.”
She obliged him, opening the bag further and reaching in to grab the item he’d purchased. She gasped softly when she felt what it was, then pulled it out of the bag to look at it in the light and proceeded to be further spellbound.
Once she could tear her eyes away, she looked up at Peter, who looked to be holding his breath waiting for her reaction.
“Is this…?”
“Do you hate it?” he asked, wincing.
“What?” she asked, startled. “No, I love it.” She slipped it onto her wrist to use for later and turned her arm around to view it at different angles. “It’s got at least five colors, and it’s really sparkly and stretchy, and-”
“So, you like it,” he concluded.
She laughed, then let her hand fall to her side as she took in his serious expression, sobering immediately.
“Wait, is this-”
“I just…I felt really awful about what happened to the last one.”
She tilted her head to the side.
“Your favorite scrunchie from before,” he reminded her.
The memory of Gen waving said scrunchie in front of her face after the ski trip flashed before her mind. She remembered how hurt she’d been, especially when Gen told her that Peter had given it to her. Accompanied by the admission that he’d been to her room the night before, it had proven too much. In the end she’d concluded Gen must’ve stolen it. If one part of her story was false, there was a good chance the other part was too, she reasoned.
“Right,” she said, forcing herself to focus on what he was saying. She had a bad feeling about what was coming, but she told herself not to jump to conclusions. “I thought she was lying.” She paused. “I mean, after…you know.”
She avoided eye contact, unsure if she was referring to the locker incident or about him telling her he was in love with her after she told him she liked him – and not in a fake way.
She got butterflies thinking about that second one.
“The thing is…” He took her hands in his again. “I did give Gen your scrunchie.”
Her brows furrowed, a little bit of hurt surfacing, though not as much as she expected to.
“You did?”
“Yeah.” He nodded, then swallowed, nervous in a way she hadn’t seen him since they got together for real on the lacrosse field. “At the first party you and I went to together.”
Her heart nearly stopped. She’d assumed at the ski trip, but it had been even farther back than that. The hurt and building anger she was trying to stomp down on was briefly stilled when she realized she hadn’t thought to wonder where it was during all that time.
“Gen followed me into the bathroom, and she was…bothering me.”
Lara Jean blinked.
That was way early on. Gen was a bother to him back when he was trying to win her back?
“So you gave her my scrunchie?” she asked, confused. That didn’t make sense.
He shrugged. “She asked for it, and I wanted to get her off my back. I asked for it back, but she wouldn’t give it to me, and honestly I just wanted her to leave me alone, so I let her keep it.” He finally met her eyes again. “I’m sorry.”
“I’m confused,” she said, hurt and anger completely gone. “How could Gen have been annoying to you when you were trying to win her back? Make her jealous? Wasn’t that the point?”
“It was.” His brows furrowed. Now he appeared to be confused. “I guess I was enjoying being with you. I didn’t like that she was interrupting that…or what she was saying about us.”
She wondered for a beat what Gen had said but then decided it didn’t matter. She intertwined her fingers with his and looked up at him with a smile on her face.
“So you decided to buy me a new scrunchie and hoped that would make it all better?”
He winced. “Does it?”
She closed her eyes and tilted her head up for his kiss. After a moment’s hesitation, he leaned down to press his lips to hers.
“I feel like it has to if you’re letting me kiss you,” he said.
She laughed and opened her eyes.
“After everything that happened, Peter…it just feels like…I mean, it’s just a scrunchie, right?”
His lips parted, clearly startled by this turn of events.
“So, you’re not mad,” he said.
“I’m glad you told me what happened,” she said. “I am really, really glad you told me it happened actually.” A beaming smile started to spread across her face. Infectious as it was, it spread to his.
“Oh, yeah, why’s that?”
“Because. It means you were starting to like me really early on.”
“Well…yeah,” he said, as if it should be obvious.
“I thought it was just me,” she admitted.
He sighed softly, then ran his hands up her arms, cupping her face.
“Oh, Lara Jean…” and kissed her again, this time longer.
“You didn’t need to get me a new scrunchie, Peter,” she said after they’d parted.
“No?”
“Mm-mm.”
“I can take it back,” he teased, lowering his hand to wear it was scrunched around her wrist.
“Ah-ah-ah.” She pulled back. “It’s my scrunchie now.”
He laughed and followed her the two steps she’s gone.
“Well, technically I paid for it.”
“It was a gift!” she said, squealing when he pinned her against the railing and then lowered his head so they were almost touching.
“If you say so,” he murmured and kissed her again.
She wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him some more, till a couple guys walking by whistled at them and they broke away. Peter rolled his eyes and laced his fingers through hers.
“Come on, let’s get out of here.”
She beamed, a little skip to her step as she followed him.
“Okay.”
Her voice was soft and bright, making him turn to look at her.
“What?” she asked, feeling the heat spread across her cheeks at the look in his eyes.
“You’re cute, Lara Jean.”
Her heart beat wildly inside her chest. She was beside him a second later, despite his long strides.
“You’re charming, Peter Kavinsky.”
He grinned and squeezed her hand tighter.
“I love you.”
It was so casual the way he said it. She wondered how three such important words strung together could ever be casual, but he made it work.
He met her eyes, but there was no pressure there. He didn’t need her to say it back. He knew she would say it when she was ready.
They reached the escalator a while later, and he surprised her by swinging her around and piggybacking her down the moving stairs.
“Peter!” she squealed, holding on for dear life as he laughed cheerfully. His laugh was intoxicating to listen to.
When they reached the bottom, he set her down and looked at her with the most swoon-worthy heart eyes she’d ever seen. She couldn’t help wondering for the hundredth time how she had gotten so lucky.
I love you, Peter Kavinsky.
Soon, she would say it.

~Chapter 7~
“Where are you going this time Arthur?” Y/N demanded, seeing her husband’s bags packed by the door.
“I am off to Hawaii for a business trip; a negotiation with the United States Navy at Pearl Harbor and their hospital there. I shall be gone for two weeks. When I return, I am meeting with my attorney. You’re a harlot and I don’t want you sullying my good name,” he snapped and lashed out at her, but she was faster this time and she avoided his hand.
“Enjoy your travels, Arthur. I hear Hawaii is lovely the beginning of December,” she laughed and made her way back to her room. At least he was leaving and she could pack her things like she planned. Dean was only days away from moving into his own home and she planned on moving with him. As soon as Arthur released her from their marriage, they would be wed, just as they planned before Dean left for Europe.
Dean moved into his new home on the first of December, 1941. It was a two story craftsman style home with three bedrooms and a large backyard. It had never been Dean’s intent to stay in Lawrence, but after what he went through, he had changed. He was able to repair his relationship with his father and they were doing well as a family again. They didn’t know about Dean and Y/N sneaking around behind everyone’s backs, but until her divorce was final, it was what they felt they needed to do.
After John and Sam had helped Dean move in, the Winchesters shared a meal then headed home for the evening. The next morning, Dean arrived at Y/N’s to help her pack some belongings so she could move in with Dean. She only took some clothes and a few framed photos. The rest could wait.
Y/N and Dean shared a wonderful week. For the first Sunday since he had been home, he did not have dinner with his family. Y/N decided she was going to make dinner for them in Dean’s new home. It was Sunday, December 7.
With the radio on, Y/N danced around the kitchen chopping vegetables and preparing a pie. After she left the bread to rise on the stove, she turned her attention back to her stew, stirring it once more, then popped a fresh cherry pie in the oven. It was a cold day and a nice hot plate of stew would feel good. She checked the time on her watch and figured she would have some time to relax before she needed to check on the bread and take Dean’s pie from the oven. It was only one twenty in the afternoon. She had forty minutes before the pie would be ready. She planned on surprising Dean with a nice hot bath.
She turned just as the music ended to turn off the radio when a new bulletin sounded. She stopped, her hand frozen on the knob. “This is no joke; this is a war! I repeat, Pearl Harbor Hawaii has been bombed by the Japanese. It looks like the United States is finally entering World War II, America!” The announcer’s voice boomed in her ears as she sunk down from the cupboard to the floor.
“Doll! What’s wrong, Y/N? Are you hurt?” Dean’s voice was frantic as he entered the kitchen seeing her on the floor, but she couldn’t focus. She could only point to the radio as the news continued to broadcast. Dean finally listened to the report.
“Hey, hey, listen. I am not going back. They medically discharged me because of my leg when my plane went down. I am not leaving you ever again,” Dean vowed as she clung to him.
“Arthur is there, Dean,” she cried into his neck. “What if he’s dead? I don’t want him dead, I just wanted to get away from him.”
“I know, Doll, I know,” Dean comforted her the best he could. He picked up her up and carried her to the sofa, covering her small frame with a blanket. “I should probably take you home, in case there is news.”
“No, I don’t want to be alone in that big, cold house. I’ll go to my parent’s,” she mumbled, but Dean understood. He knew she never liked that big house. He packed her a small bag, and when the timer dinged, he took the pie from the oven. He took her bag and the pie to her car.
“I don’t want you driving if you’re upset,” Dean protested as she got up off the sofa, folding the blanket neatly and hanging it over the back.
“I know, but I need to go alone, Dean. No one can know,” she reminded him. She stepped forward and kissed him soundly and he sighed into her mouth. “I love you Dean. I will call you soon.”
Dean watched her walk through his front door and out to her car. He would count down the hours until she was back in his arms.
~*~
“It’s over,” Y/N announced as she walked into Dean’s house one afternoon, a month later. While at her parent’s home, she received a phone call from the United States Navy, saying that Arthur’s body had been found amongst the dead. As his wife, his entire estate was now hers. She put the house up for sale and donated all of his belongings, except for his personal items, which she returned to his family. The business still belonged to his father, but she was cut a rather large settlement check when Arthur’s shares were sold back to his father.
“I am so glad you’re here, Y/N. I missed you so much!” Dean wrapped her in his arms, lifting her off the ground. “Welcome home, Doll!”
“I am home, Dean. You’re my home and I am never leaving again and neither are you. I want to get married and start our life,” she professed.
“I told my parents and they would like us to get married at their house,” Dean admitted.
“You told them? Do they hate me?” she questioned him.
“No, they never stopped loving you. They understood and they are just happy we can be happy now,” Dean assured her.
“I want to be married as soon as possible,” she smiled at Dean.
“Nothing would make me happier than to take you as my bride, but why the rush?” Dean probed, just happy they could finally be together now.
“Remember that night in your apartment, before you moved in here? We made love and didn’t take any precautions. I am carrying your child, Dean; our child. We’re having a baby!” she cried, but it would only be happy tears from now until forever.
Dean dropped to his knees in front of her, wrapping his arms around her waist and pressed his face to her stomach, peppering it with kisses. He looked up at her and slipped the ring back on her finger where it belonged. Y/N and Dean were meant to be together and come Hell or highwater, nothing would tear them apart ever again.
On Saturday, January 17, 1942, one week before Dean’s twenty second birthday, Y/N and Dean exchanged vows in front of their families. After Father Murphy had them repeat the church’s vows, they asked to say their own.
“I take you to be my best friend, my faithful partner and my one true love. I promise to encourage you and inspire you and to love you truly through good times and bad. I will forever be there to laugh with you, to lift you up when you are down and to love you unconditionally through all of our adventures in life together,” Dean pressed a kiss to the ring of her left hand.
“My love, you are the one person with whom I can share all that I am. I promise to trust you and to be honest with you. I promise to listen to you, respect you and support you. I promise to laugh and play with you and grow and bend with you. I promise to cherish every day we have together. I promise to do all of this through whatever life brings us: riches or poverty, health or illness, through good times and bad, until the end of my days,” Y/N held it together until the last words. She lifted Dean’s hand to her lips and kissed his ring, just as he had to hers.
“With the power vested in me by God, I now pronounce you man and wife. Son, you may kiss your bride,” Father Murphy told the happy couple and they kissed; it was the first kiss of the rest of their lives.
I’d love to hear/read your thoughts!

Long ways from home
Remi x chef!reader (Crack fic)
A hardworking gal just trying to get by, by sheer dumb luck lands herself a food prep position at @bigchefs (Gusteau’s) restaurant.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The breeze was soft, along with the hum of an accordion in the far distance, tucked away in the alleys with bustling restaurants. The tower itself a shining beacon one could use as a marker, just like the sailors with the North Star. Beloved by all, a symbol of what this beautiful city stood for. For WHOM this city stands for.
You, with quick and light steps, while frantically tying an apron, were running through these alleys and caused quite a ruckus. A man with a handlebar mustache sneered, almost spilling the Chardonnay and baguettes a table of 2 ordered. You holler out a quick “DÉSOLÉ!”, and weave the rest of the way through looking for BigChefs(TM) restaurant.
The rest of the trip was uneventful, however, upon entering the establishment you had to lay low, for you arrived late. Suddenly your stomach growled and in a panic, grabbed the nearest food item, in the BigFridge(TM). Crouching low and hiding behind some parsley you begin to eat, what you just now realize is, a croissant.
“Squeak, squeak!” you hear to your right, your neck almost snapping at from turning so fast. Eye to eye, face to face, you see a rat. You, with half a croissant stuffed in your mouth, are unable to utter a single sound. You fell down and scoot backward, the Brie, Camembert, Gouda, and provolone cheese falling onto you.
You manage to swallow the pastry, going from shock to horror. “AH! Stop! I could’ve dropped my croissant!” you say with added hand gestures to express your surprise. You then grab the brie and are about to throw it at the pest, that is until, with big, dream-like eyes, he returns your gaze and you’re frozen. He couldn’t, it was not possible, nor sensible, for a RAT to understand you... right?
SLAM! The door was suddenly ripped from its hinges. It was Sue-chef, and she was pissed. As per usual...
"(L/N)! Qu'est-ce que tu fais dans la refrigerateur?!?!? ALONSI NOUS AVONS BESOINS DE 50 CROISSANTS AU FROMAGE ET LAVENDE!!!!" Sue-chef screamed from the top of her lungs, her fire-truck red hair falling from the updo she had it in. She retreats to the sauce station, screeching about incompetent workers and starts flipping things and lighting other dishes on fire.
But hey, that's just French cooking.
Rushing over to your station, you started prepping the dough on cookie sheets, then setting them in the prover for a good dozen minutes. Going back into the BigFridge(TM), you had to take a moment to remember, "Hold on... did she say cheese and lavender??? Shoot speaking of which where the heck do we even keep that stuff..."
While scavenging the fridge, with quite a lot of cheese in hand, you meet once again at eye level, with a rat.
"ACK!" You fall back onto the food rack, trying to avoid the rodent as much as possible. He seemed to look at you, then to the cheese and scurried away, only to come back with a few sprigs of lavender. 'Does this rat live here or something? How does he know what dishes I need to make...' You think the best course of action is to probably take the lavender from the...rat. As you reach out, however, your hands meet, well it was more like, your find met his entire paw. Before anything further happened, you scampered out of the fridge and began on your work, praying you didn't miss the prover alarm.
After hours of grueling work, nonsensical recipes and a raging boss, you were finally done with the day. Exhausted, exasperated and all-in-all mentally checked out, you really didn’t have any care left in you to worry about a rat following you home.
With your shoes clicking on the linoleum, you hurry up the last flight of stairs to your modest apartment. Swinging the door open you don’t even both turning on the lights, you just shrug off your coat and bag, quickly change from the work attire and collapse on your bed. Dreading having to work the next night. ‘How am I supposed to keep this crummy flat if I might not have a job tomorrow... Leaving it all up to Sue-chef does not sound like a good idea...’.
Now waking up to the smell of a cheese omelet was not normal for you, especially since you’ve been living alone for quite a while now. You had moved to Paris after being tired of the day to day lull of your hometown, and being interested in cuisine, France was the first choice of many.
Rounding the corner of your room, you spot a frying pan on the stove, and what looked like, a spatula moving, but no one there to move it. ‘...I have a ghost. I...am living...with a ghost. MYNAMEISZAKBAGGANS. No no, (Y/N) don’t get off track. Be logical. step out and confront this thing’. It took all your courage but you manage to step out one foot at a time and call out to whatever was around the corner.
The only thing that could make you more scared was recognizing whatever was cooking. At that moment, you really weren’t sure if that was worse or better. But there he was, the rat from the day before, preparing an omelet...
You approach the stove and pull out a chair, taking a seat. “You know, I really should be worried about you getting in here, how you’re able to cook and also how you probably followed me... but that omelet smells really good and I’m a terrible chef apparently... now this is crazy I know...” you say with hesitation, waiting for his response. He gestures his hand to go on, and you can’t help but feel urged to do just that.
Taking a deep breath to calm your nerves, you carried on with a bit of hesitation. Before you could though, the small bundle of fluff had offered you said omelet. Darted your eyes from him to the food, you decided to give it a try, that would solidify your thoughts. After one bite you were sold. ‘By god that is a good omelet. I might just be able to stay here after all...’, putting up your hands in defeat you manage to finally say.
“Lil’chef, can you teach me how to cook?”
All he gave was a simple, albeit confused, nod and a rush of pure joy hit you like a metro. In pure excitement and joy of a more wondrous life, you picked up that lil fur ball and gave him a big ol’ smooch. He may not be the man your mother thought you’d end up with, but with him, by your side, you could make it through this.

Authors note: So I finally finished that vent fic, you can really tell the difference between me writing at midnight vs 3 am, but leave it to me to forget I didn’t post this when it was finished like 3? days ago. Also, I admit because it was late I didn't feel the need to grammatically correct my french here since it is a crack fic and all
But hey, that's just French cooking.
Anyways don’t worry Anon, I’m working on those asks, plus some things I wanted to get done too, so literally tomorrow or later today there should be more content that ISN’T crack.
