I've been reading some older Batman stories and I love how in Batman #20 Bruce actually loses custody of Dick because a lawyer says 'this man is too much of a SLUTTY PARTY BOY to take care of this child" and it works. Bruce's like 'darnit I can't tell them I'm only a slut because of my secret identity!!!"

Bruce is SO SAD without his son, look at him sitting alone moping in front of his fireplace.

It's kind of neat how this story had the "Batman needs a Robin" themes like, so early on. As if Bill Finger was somehow anticipating years of discourse .

"HOW CAN I LIVE WITHOUT THAT BOY'S STUPID-ASS PUNS!"

Literally if Robin goes away Batman gets so depressed he can't even fight. This is like the whole breakdown after Jason died and Tim's entire thesis about Robins condensed into two panels. It's really interesting to see an early comic go "yeah Batman used to work alone, but now that he has Robin, he needs him. Why would you want him to be alone again? He's a mess without him, There's no joy in that."

I thought it would be revealed that this wasn't really Dick's uncle or something, but no! Dick had an evil uncle that heard his brother was murdered along with his wife, orphaning his nephew, and then his nephew got taken in by a millionaire and was like "awesome I can make money off of this". Comics love bringing old characters back, I'm surprised I've never seen one bring back Dick's evil uncle for the drama. I need to see modern Bruce Wayne battle for custody.

but the funniest thing about this story is they just...do it all over again in issue 57? See under the cut.

They were literally like "well it's been long enough they won't know we already did this" and we get version that doesn't involve Dick's evil uncle, it's someone Bruce exposed for running a phony charity just wanting to make him suffer, thinking that losing his son would hurt him more than killing him.

like they just want to throw Dick in an orphanage. This one does put a little more work into arguing for Bruce as a bad guardian, they make it look like he got into a fight at a nightclub etc.

But yes, Bruce does testify for himself in court as Batman all over again, in person this time.

I think vanessa and vanny are both artists, ness works more realistically and likes acrylic while van’s the one with the spraypaints n cartoons<3 it would loveeeee to fuck around w ink tho i think.

Vanny’s age is weird, ness was 8 when they first split and van was around 12 then but she hasn’t aged much more than 2 years. Sometimes its age changes randomly though, but it usually defaults back to 14 these days.

I think it’s easy for Greg to tell who’s fronting because ness makes an effort to have good posture (ahh the back pain demons) while vanny is a hunched over beastie (used to bunny feet also). On the flip side, vanny spends a lot more energy masking,(afteraffect of dealing with ness’s dad) at least until greg makes her a new bunny mask. It makes her feel safe.

Ness definitely fronts more often but vanny specifically avoids work and other responsibility-related things like the plague, little beast. She takes over cooking for ness tho, as long as knives aren’t involved.

Vanny knows JACK SHIT about repairing robots but she knows some coding. Ness is the tech expert of the two.

This is such a cool idea!! I've been kind of frustrated with Mark this season, but he's also a teenager just trying to navigate the world in a way that makes the most sense to him.

After Nolan goes insane and abandons Earth, Cecil decides he needs a constant feed of information on Mark's mental state

Enter stage right: his teenage child

Who, up till now, was a secret from all but the highest ranking government officials.

but now he's transferred you to Reginald Vel Johnson High School, rigging the system just enough so that you have three classes plus lunch with Mark.

He gently suggested it might be a good idea to make friends, and send you on your way.

and much to his chagrin, you and Mark hit it off immediately!

You only find out why your dad made you change schools when Mark reveals his secret identity to you

but luckily for Cecil, you know your dad well

He has reasons for things

"Y/n... I'm... Invincible."

"oh? OH-! Cool- thats- amazing, Mark, really! I'm gonna be right back!" And you crash into the hallway, running down the stairs out to your car and calling your dad

"Y/n I told you not to call this line at wo-"

"YOU SET ME UP WITH INVINCIBLE?!"

"Woahhhh, no. No, not like that I just- I need to keep an eye on him. I'm not asking you to spy or betray anybody, just make sure he's level-headed and not an evil Viltrumite. Okay, kiddo?"

So you begrudgingly start reporting to your dad on Mark's mental state

And this goes fine, for a while

You and Mark get into college together, staying in contact even when Mark goes rogue

All until Mark threatens Cecil, and Cecil reveals he basically has an audio bomb implanted into Mark

Mark comes home to tell you and William about it, not understanding when you choked on your drink at the news

"He did WHAT?" You yelled, slamming your mug down onto William's dorm table and pulling yourself to your feet "That fucking- I can't believe-" You mumbled incoherently, trying to keep your cover

Would Mark still be your friend if he knew?

Would your dad blow this for you?

You didn't know what to expect at all

Mark's right across from you, talking about how he threatened your father, and you don't know if he would do the same to you

I mean, of course he wouldn't

You've known Mark almost two years by now, you're practically family

You go on like this, nervously keeping your fathers secret

and it's fine until he starts asking more and more of you

Ask deeper questions, get more specifics, figure out what he's planning, try and convince him Cecil is right

and how can you say no when his throat is purple and bruised

you loved your dad

and so you start digging deeper into Mark

"Say, Mark," you pop a fry into your mouth, him, you, and William at a drive through parking lot "Why don't you believe in rehabilitation? I mean, like, you were pretty anti prison in highschool, remember that whole presentation we had to do?"

Mark tenses, and he can't give you a better answer than "It's just not right. Y/n, it just.... it isn't okay."

There isn't a lot you can do with that.

Mark, in secret, is growing suspicious

He's paranoid, though, and can't take his suspicious seriously

What if though? What if you're an alien or a spy or someone who could get someone really hurt?

He asks Rudy to run a background check on you

"I'm surprised Mark, what do you want to know?" He seems candid, like this is an unusual request but nothing he can't do

"I want to know- uhg- everything! Where they come from, are they evil? A criminal past? Wh-"

Rudy cuts off Mark, with a curious voice "Where they come from? Mark of course they're human, just as human as Cecil is, and he swears the mother was human as well"

"What does Cecil have to do with this?"

"Oh. Oh you don't know."

Mark is growing impatient "Don't know what, Rudy?"

"Y/n is Cecil's child. How else would I know them?"

"I didn't know you knew them! I- what???" Mark is furious, his chest starts heaving and he crouches down on the floor of teen teams hideout

He has to talk to you.

Tensions are high when you meet

in the woods

behind your university

alone.

He knows, he has to know, there's not way he doesn't know and he's not going to totally murder you oh noooooo

So when Mark arrives, and you're shaking like a leaf, it only reaffirms your guilt in his eyes

"Y/n- You're working for Cecil? Why?!"

"Why? Mark- he's my dad!" You're on the verge of crying, a state of hysteria Mark has never seen you reach

But he's relentless, and continues "Our whole friendship was a lie?! You've been, what? Spying on me? Poisoning me slowly in my sleep? What- are you just waiting to strike?!"

He approaches you, and you duck to the ground, covering your head with your hands

"Please don't hurt me!!"

Mark pauses, watching his friend- who never felt scared of him before- cower beneath him, flinching when he raises his voice

He felt his soles hit the ground, unaware he'd even begun flying

"Y/n.... I'm not going to hurt you."

He patted the top of your head as you looked up at him, bleary-eyed

"But... I can't let you hurt me either."

and with that, Mark was gone, the fallen leaves flying everywhere as he left

and you were left alone in the woods, still shaking like a leaf

Mark was hurt and betrayed, and he couldn't hurt you

but he could definitely hurt Cecil

and he just might.

I know I’m biased because Rise was my first positive experience with TMNT as a franchise, but I really cannot fathom how any TMNT fan who has watched more than the first half of season 1 could call Rise a bad iteration. Like, I can understand it not being someone’s taste if you’re used to the older style, but you HAVE to at least admit they had so much fun mixing up the usual formula and did a pretty good job with it.

They’ve had the same weapons for 40+ years? Switch them up for a little bit as the characters grow into themselves! Give them world-building explained super powers too!

The turtles are usually confined to just NYC and mutant related shenanigans? Throw in a whole hidden underground city with an unknown race that is hiding from human discovery!

Master Splinter’s always wise and responsible with a dark past? What if he was a runaway movie star who spent his life shirking responsibility until it came back to bite him?

Leo’s always the oldest brother and responsible leader? What if he’s a cocky middle child who has to learn responsibility during an alien invasion?

Raph’s always the moody middle child with anger issues? What if he’s the oldest, the main figure of responsibility in their household, and is the one to take the helm of leader for awhile?

April’s usually a boring female side character who only meets the turtles at the beginning of the show? Make her the fun family friend/oldest sister of the family! Let her be crazy and kick people in the shins! Let her be close with Donnie WITHOUT the weird and unnecessary romantic tension! (I am talking specifically about 2012 April.)

Oroku Saki and Karai, the usual heads of the Foot Clan? The Shredder’s a late-game villain whose spirit is trapped in evil mystic armor gifted to Saki by the Krang a thousand years ago, and his daughter turned into a magic sword to keep him trapped in a prison dimension.

Casey Jones? A Foot clan recruit whose identity is only revealed at the end of the series. Oh yeah she also has a time-traveler son by the same name who brings news of the apocalypse.

The Krang weren’t terrifying enough before? Make them capable of the most horrifying body horror you’re allowed to get away with on TV-Y7 rated television.

Baxter Stockman? Make him a 10yo iPad kid who’s bored and decides to make fake ghost stories on the internet for views. (Not my favorite villain, but it’s still a funny and unique take.)

The point is, difference can be good and interesting! Not every aspect of the story needs to be kept the same, sometimes it’s fun to mix things up! And Rise is a good example of that.

—BECAUSE KUNG FU PANDA 4 KILLED MY GRANDMA, OKAY?

To preface, I watched this movie and I'm genuinely tweaking right now so I had to write down a very brief (lie) criticism on this film — which you should boycott, by the way.

Starting with the things I liked, before briefing my primary points of criticism:

Po's Character Regression

The Chameleon

I'd also yap about Lord Shen and the death of the art style and the entire narrative and pacing and use of the staff of wisdom but my therapist says being such a hater is 'unhealthy' or something. My heart is full of hatred.

SPOILERS for the entirety KFP4 for the 2 people who care.

KFP4 undermines and ignores the previous three movies ��� Unwriting character developments, outright removing the Furious Five, straying from the character design philosophies and is completely inconsistent with the established lore.

Things I Liked About Kung Fu Panda 4

The Chameleon's character design

Visual gag in the Tavern where Po uses a recently thrown axe as a hat rack (made me laugh)

When Mr. Ping did this:

Po — Character Writing

Po, as established in the previous movies, is confident in his abilities and identity — he’s learnt inner peace, he’s matured as a character. However, in KFP4, his character has completely regressed. He’s immature again (such as KFP1, possibly worse) and says verbatim, “only knows kicking butt and taking names” — UNLEARNING inner peace and insisting that “…being the Dragon Warrior is all I know.”

It’s childish, and sort of Hotel Transylvania-esque.

Which isn’t helped by the comedy, the dialogue — a large chunk of which are jokes in the style of:

Master Shifu says something philosophical

Po quips off of it / doesn’t get it (i.e. Whoa!! beat I don’t know what that means.)

Oh, it’s great, yeah, very tolerable. Po’s shenanigans are normally reeled in by the presence of the Furious Five who are generally more serious in nature, creating a much needed balance in the dynamic — So without them, it’s just Po becoming increasingly obnoxious and insufferable with every consecutive quip throughout the screenplay.

Po and Zhen — Character Dynamics

As if it wasn’t obvious that Zhen was going to be the next Dragon Warrior the second she was introduced.

Zhen, as a character, has no depth besides being a quippy thief. She quips, she steals. This character has no motives — it can be assumed that the writers intended on a ‘change of heart’ thing, but she isn’t established as evil, her working for the Chameleon is written as a (albeit poor) twist reveal.

By which point, her taking either side wouldn’t make sense, given that she has shown no loyalty or attachment to either Po nor the Chameleon.

The movie artificially strengthens their bond by having Zhen start opening up about her backstory out of nowhere for no reason but they have done nothing to grow closer to each other.

Small tangent, her backstory is exactly what you’d expect it to be with no subversions or even emotional weight. Woe is me I was so small and hungry I had to steal to survive. Glossed over in about a minute.

The majority of the dialogue between Zhen and Po is spoken exposition — explaining how powerful and badass the Chameleon is, explaining how ‘we have to go here to do that’ and ‘this place was cool until the Chameleon did such and such’, and the rest of their time together is spent engaging in filler chase sequences and fight scenes.

The Chameleon

Where do I even start…

This is where it becomes apparent that the movie relies heavily on telling rather than showing —

She is the weakest villain by far, not only in universe but as a written character; which is particularly disheartening because I genuinely adore her character design and feel as though a shapeshifting character has great potential.

The movie artificially inflates her power by insisting through exposition that this is the most capable antagonist thus far (lie).

The audience is TOLD by Zhen and various restaurant patrons that the Chameleon is a powerful shapeshifting sorceress and that she 'dominates the city' whilst the film does nothing to showcase this.

'Dominating the city' meaning letting her henchpeople run amock and bully the civilians just like Lord Shen's wolves in KFP2... uninspired.

I just realised they didn't even give her a NAME what the FUCK is going on

She describes HERSELF as ruthless, clever and unsentimental when comparing Zhen to herself.

She says HERSELF that she’s “Stronger than every opponent you’ve ever faced.”

Let’s see what vile reprehensible things she’s done, shall we?

Gently push someone down some stairs

Her first appearance is through Zhen’s exposition, as opposed to the dramatic and memorable entrances of the previous villains. Her motives or character aren’t established until the final third of the film. She doesn’t even FIGHT anybody until the final third of the film; and even then, her fight sequences are uninspired and she never really poses a real threat. (She goes down in two hits.)

That being said, WE CAN STILL SAVE HER GUYS WE CAN STILL GET HER OUTTA THERE I'M COMING FOR YOU CHAMELEON I'M GONNA DRAFT YOU A PROPER BACKSTORY AND MOTIVE AND YOU'RE GONNA BE THE MOST THREATENING VILLAIN THUS FAR

There's a scene after the climax of the film where all the kung fu masters and previous villains from the spirit realm bow to Po. I'm not going to provide my thoughts on this because I fear I may burst a blood vessel. Good day!

Closing Statements

To put it simply, Kung Fu Panda 4 was my Megamind 2.

The film rejects its predecessors in every way. It really feels as though they brought in somebody with no prior knowledge of the franchise to direct the movie.

It's a film that relies heavily on telling rather than showing — banking on the previous three movies to carry it through the box office.

It's just really disheartening to see studio execs turn one of the best franchises into a safe sequel cash grab and regress every character's development.

Nevertheless. I do adore the chameleon's character design so I might do my own take on her character.

As far as I'm concerned, there is no fairy godmother, there is no tooth fairy, and there is no kung fu panda 4.

Summary: Wade discusses his next target his mercenary gig has assigned him, Peter doesn’t quite agree Word Count: 1.5K Warnings: Crude language (Its Deadpool guy c’mon) A/N: this is based off the comic book series of spider-man/deadpool!!!

“Now webs don’t be mad at me…” Pouted Wade, his feet dangling over the side of the building they were currently sitting on top of. “But I need your help with something…”

“What Wade?” Peter asked, not even looking up from his foil wrapped burrito. He shuddered. “I’m not helping you manscape again.”

“You know how you work for Parker industries?”

Peter chuckled inwardly to himself. ‘Work for Parker Industries’ was certainly a way you could view it. If it wouldn’t completely destroy his secret identity he would’ve told Wade by now he was the CEO and founder, but Peter bit his tongue, knowing it would do more harm than good for the merc to know such knowledge.

“Yeah…?” Peter continued, not liking where this conversation was heading as he took another bite of his dinner, his mask shifting slightly so he could take a bigger chunk of burrito-y goodness.

“Can you help me kill the CEO?”

Peter choked on his burrito, coughing furiously as he attempted to clear his lung of the salsa he just inhaled.

“You want me to kill me- My boss?!” He asked, catching himself before he could prematurely spill the beans on his true identity.

“I knew you’d be mad!” Pouted Wade, dramatically leaning towards Peter. “I know you don’t agree with my thoughts on Peter Parker but I’ve just been given some crazy mad evidence to show you how right I am in my feelings!”

Peter stared at Wade silently, trying to decipher if what he’d heard was all true. ‘Evidence’? What ‘Evidence’? Last Peter checked he hadn’t been up to any devilishly fiendish activities.

“What exactly has…” Peter cleared his throat. “Mr. Parker done?”

Wade revealed a small USB from somewhere inside his suit (Peter didn’t want to think too hard about it) and waved it in front of Peter’s face.

“According to some very reliable sources-“

“Who are those sources Wade?” Asked peter, raising a dubious eyebrow.

“Very reliable.” Tsked Wade, booping Peter on the nose with the USB. “Now be quiet and let me monologue baby boy.”

Deadpool cleared his throat, and gestured to the nearby Parker Industries skyscraper. “according to my sources… Peter Parker’s newest technology- his web ware- has a component to control those who wears it thought’s…”

“Mind control man…” Wade gasped, waving his hands in front of an unamused Peter to get his point across. “Mind controoooolll……..” He whispered.

“So you’re going to kill him because your sources-“

“Very reliable.” Interjected Wade.

“Told you he’s plotting to control the minds of the entire populous of New York?”

“Now are you on my side?” Asked Wade, rolling over on to his stomach and kicking his legs back and forth like a little school girl.

“No Wade.” Deadpanned Peter, crushing the burrito’s foil in his hands and throwing it into a nearby trash can on the buildings roof.

“Peter wouldn’t do something like that…” He added, looking over at his skyscraper, trying to decipher if Wade really had reason to believe Parker Industries would commit such a crime.

Wade scoffed, obviously annoyed that Peter couldn’t see his side of the argument. Why was he being so defensive over his billionaire boss who like all scumbag CEO rich men would toss him aside? Spider-man was only a low level worker at Parker Industries shouldn’t he also rally against his boss like all red-blooded Americans…? Unless he’s already being mind controlled… OMG is spider-man evil right now…

Deadpool glanced over at Spider-man suspiciously, making a mental note to keep a closer eye on him.

Peter sighed, realizing that this argument would go no where like it always did.

“Look Wade, patrols over I’m going home.” Peter said, standing up and pulling his mask back over his face. “Don’t follow me or I’ll websling your foot to your skull.”

Wade watched Peter sling off into the distance, a frown etched onto his face.

Welp if Spidey wouldn’t help him, he’d just have to do it himself… And knowing Parker Industries that might be a tad bit hard.

Wade did his best impression of a cartoon robber, sneakily crawling his way up a large crystalline apartment complex in Brooklyn and using his tippy toes to stealth across the roof.

According to his very reliable resources this was the current home address of one Peter Parker- and if the two katanas and approximately thirty two other small weapons strapped to his body had anything to say- tonight was the night he died.

Using his best form of lock picking (using a muffler on one of his pistols and shooting the door until it opened), Wade made his way inside of the apartment complex, sheathing his pistol and carefully descending the long stair case.

The night was dead silent, a pleasant surprise when living in the big apple.

‘Must come with residing in the fanciest of fucking apartments.’ thought Wade to himself as he continued, avoiding any step that might creek under his weight. ‘Another reason to hate Parker- he was richer than Wade.’

After six whole flights and a good cardio workout, Deadpool was standing in front of the door to Peter Parker’s apartment.

This time he’d be more classy, using some of his high tech tools (courtesy of S.H.I.E.L.D) Wade was able to unlock the doors fifty locks in record time! (An hour spent sitting outside the front door and praying none of his neighbors decided to get a midnight snack from the local connivence store.)

Peter Parker’s apartment was surprisingly messy. Clothes were strewn out in piles and dishes were left in unclean piles dirtying up the sink.

Wade scoffed, if he wasn’t here to kill the guy he might’ve done the fellow a good deed and wiped down his counters.

The door to Parker’s room was left wide open, as well as a nearby window.

Wade kicked himself for not checking the perimeter more closely.

Shedding a quick tear for all the time lost breaking into this joint and with a convenient get away nearby, Deadpool glanced over Parker’s bedroom briefly, noticing the fluffy brown haired demon of a man peacefully sleeping in a messy bed.

Near the night stand laid an unsuspecting duffel bag.

Uh oh- Wade was familiar with this one.

Was it new villainous technology? Money he got from dubious origins? Human remains? Deadpool didn’t know, but he’d be damned if he didn’t find out.

“What we got here Parker…” he whispered aloud to himself as he pried open the duffel bag only for his eyes to land on a little red and blue spandex number he could recognize in his sleep.

“Spidey…?” Gasped Wade, looking confusedly at the suit discarded in the bag.

“Wade…?” came a gruff half asleep voice from behind him.

Deadpool moved on instinct, throwing a small dagger towards the voice without thinking before turning around.

Peter Parker was staring wide eyed at Wade. His body leaning to the left after he dodged the knife Deadpool had thrown.

The man who was now only in boxers Deadpool realized, glanced incredulously at the dagger sticking out of his wall, inches from his head.

Peter looked from Deadpool to the suit in his hands before sighing and shooting a web from his wrist to flick on the light switch, bathing the room in annoying brightness.

“You’re… no…” fumbled Deadpool, a disbelieving laugh pushing past his lips.

“Yeah…” smirked Peter, scratching at the back of my neck.

“But the technology! The evil plans!” Fumbled Wade, trying to tuck the spider suit into his back pocket for later and non erotic reasons. Peter gave him a look and shot another string of web at Wade to pull the suit back towards him.

“That’s why I want to know who your sources are and who’s been using my tech for their own gain.” Frowned Peter, grabbing some nearby sweatpants and pulling them over his boxers (much to wades displeasure).

“Sorry baby boy- can’t get past the fact you’re fucking Peter Parker.” Wade practically shouted.

“Look Wade… can this wait till morning?” Asked Peter, scratching at the stubble on his chin. “It’s four AM and I have to be up at six for a board meeting.”

“Holy Shit! You have board meetings!” Laughed Deadpool, who might’ve gone insane at this point if he wasn’t already.

Peter frowned at him.

“Wade if you let me go back to sleep I’ll let you sleep on my couch and eat my strawberry cream cheese toaster strudels in the morning.”

Like someone had pulled a switch in the enigmatic mind of Deadpool - he gave Peter a cheerful smile and snuck back towards the door.

“Sleep tight baby boy I’ll be here in the morning!” He flourished, kicking his leg in the air in a way that would make a ballet teacher have an aneurysm and flicking off the light switch with his steel toed boot.

With the room bathed once more in darkness, Peter’s tranquility was short lived as Wade pressed a gentle mask covered kiss to his temple and pirouetted out the exit.

Peter knew that come tomorrow, Wade and him would have to have a long chat but for now he was content to go back to sleep.

And for the rest of his days- Peter would ignore the little side of him that wished Wade had done more than a little goodnight kiss.

...I'm really kinda hoping they don't do a "Just Kidding!" with Brookenji.

I liked the notion that a fourteen-year-old and sixteen-year-old who fell in love while abandoned on an island running from dinosaurs would just gradually drift apart. I don't want them to have done a Shrek-style breakup because his Evil Dad was texting her at Exactly The Wrong Time, and maybe if she'd taken five minutes to come up with a better excuse, things would be better and they'd be Just Fine.

Especially because Kenji still had his Romantic Lead style...it was all her messing it up, not him. Kenji didn't fumble her, she lost him, and I found that a compelling story: she's getting lost in her own life, and it's pulling them apart. It felt mature and realistic, which really made the show refreshing.

The one thing keeping me from resigning myself to the future is that I do feel that it would be a disservice for Brooklynn to "learn her lesson" and "settle down", and I don't think Kenji would be tearing off into whatever adventurous life she's going to lead. Maybe both of them will quietly retire somewhere (in their early 20s???? THEY SHOULD BE AT THE CLUB! But they're not living this down ever), but...I dunno. Maybe there's a future for those two, but I dunno what it's gonna be.

Dinostar, sorry, I think you got mangled this season, I REALLY don't see a path to victory for you, baby. Not enough focus on you two, and I know I don't want a "prize" or "reward" ending, the best hope for you two is--once again--the "sometime in the future" option. But Darius also kinda seemed to come to the "it was a crush" realization when he admitted that he wasn't there for her. Brooklynn's just got the Charm.

Which brings us to--*microphone feedback*--which, let's be real, is never ACTUALLY gonna be a thing but has all sorts of on-and-off incidental possibilities. Definitely has Power, though.

But back to the Brookenji thing...I do appreciate the "Asian Man Romantic Lead" rep, it's criminally underrepresented, but I still don't feel like they were ever executed perfectly. But this isn't about ship preference, it's that they're going to need to have REALLY nailed the romance writing in Season 3, and frankly, I'd much rather that energy be given to the Yasammy wedding. And speaking of Sammy...I kinda hoped that we'd get some stuff with her and Brooklynn, but I don't think there was much (EXCEPT for the fact that she went and asked if that was Brooklynn there, meaning that she was having doubts about really seeing her because this is just a thing, oh look, it's Brooklynn again...but this time, she has hair Sammy's never seen her with, that's different, she always had familiar hair when she's a ghost). I dunno, there was extreme focus on Kenji (he WAS in love with her, give him that always and forever), but if that's a big thing in the next season...hm.

I'm just hoping we don't get a monopoly again next season. Kinda hoping that Brooklynn is off on a Clean Break. I noted in an earlier post that the girl is actually kinda being an accomplice...under extreme duress, mind you, but she DID volunteer for the DLN without hostages. Faked her death. Probably gonna have to pay years of taxes. It's not like she was put into Witness Protection or given permits by the government, that girl was Doing Crimes, and if they don't expose EVERYTHING (which, given that Soyona is up and running during Dominion...), she could actually need an identity change. Or to stay "dead".

I guess I'm just having a little worry that they're going to just go back to the way things were in the Camp Cretaceous finale, which Chaos Theory's stellar first season did a phenomenal job of gently prying it from our hands. We were all ready to let Brooklynn go, even without the reveal that she's alive (at least, I was), because they were all processing and moving on...and I don't think this season did enough to convince me that we should flip back.

Agatha All Along Ep. 5 First Impressions

I'm kinda disappointed.

Agatha All Along has been working really well as a solo project. The practical effects and episodic writing make it feel really different than a lot of the MCU. There are a lot of non-MCU fans watching this. So I was worried that

...Teen's identity just doesn't flow with not just the plot of this show, but its emotional core. What does "Teen is actually Wanda's kid" mean to the story of Agatha's coven and their journey down the Witch's Road?

What I was hoping was that after the Witch's Road, they'd take some time to bring Wanda's legacy back into the show organically so Teen's identity had some emotional weight to it. After all, there's a lot of potential for drama there once Agatha realized her "familiar" was the child of the woman who took her freedom for three years.

So when Wanda's crown appeared on Teen's head, I didn't have much of an emotional reaction to the reveal itself. It was certainly a cool way to do it, especially with the perfect song, but it happened too soon, too fast. I am definitely interested in how Agatha immediately turned Teen's words against him and projected Wanda's misdeeds onto him, especially since he immediately proved her right by taking control of Lilia and Jen and threw them all into the muck. I'm just a little confused as to why he would do that. Guess we have to wait and see.

The episode in general just felt...rushed, maybe? I don't know, I felt like bits of motivation or bits of reasoning were missing here and there. Everyone turned against Agatha during her trial really quickly, and they should know that past trials were supposed to be group efforts. Evanora kept repeating that Agatha was evil, she was born evil, but never offered any details about what she did. And nobody asked.

And then out of nowhere in the last minute of the "trial", Teen suddenly contacted Nicholas Scratch on the Ouija Board (didn't he say specifically it needed more than one person??) and a ghost's voice that I guess is Scratch pleads for Agatha to stop killing Alice, because he wants his mom to be a good person. Okay...? Then Nicholas Scratch was apparently a child when he either died or was sacrificed.

Why was that the way to finish the trial? What exactly was this trial? If last week's trial was anything to go by, you'd expect the coven to learn something, or find closure somehow. The fact that Teen randomly contacts a whole different ghost and apparently finishes the trial for all of them because the coven is in complete chaos and did NOT reach any understanding with Evanora - if that was the point of the trial - ? - kind of goes against the spirit of what we've seen so far. Maybe the writing was over-edited and messed up because Marvel had to oversee the Billy reveal.

This episode might still grow on me. That's why I'm calling this "first impressions". Because I literally just watched it, and I'm still digesting it. Stuff like Nicholas Scratch's appearance as a ghostly voice and Teen's reveal as Billy might make more sense with future episodes, so I'm not saying it's ruined or anything. Overall Agatha All Along is one of the best Marvel shows, exceeding it's predecessor Wandavision in emotional intelligence and drama.

Also at some point one of the witches called Billy Agatha's "familiar" and I just realized that's why she kept calling him her "pet". Though, considering she called her actual familiar "Senor Scratchy" and she thought Billy was her son for a while, that makes it a lot sadder. And I do like that Agatha only needed to know that he wasn't her son to suspect that he was Billy Kaplan. (Billy Maximoff? Billyvision? Whatever Marvel goes with.) But what really confirmed it for her was when he got righteous with her, and it reminded her of Wanda trying to excuse her actions in Westview. That was good.

This was one of those ideas that popped in my head and just begged to be made into a drawing. It wouldn't surprise me if someone else had the idea to combine Spy x Family with The Incredibles before now, but even so, I loved the idea of the Forgers dressing up as members of the crime-fighting superhero family introduced to us in...

...2004!? Dang, I feel old. 😐

In any case, the comparison between these two fictional families was such an easy one that I thought I'd explore it a bit. While the "secret identity" part works a little differently for the Parrs than it does for the Forgers, both families are known for working behind the scenes to protect the world from the forces of pigheadedness evil, whenever and wherever they appear...at least by us viewers. As far as everyone else knows, they're just your average modern-day families. 😉

Whether The Incredibles movie would be a thing in the Spy x Family universe or not is something I don't know, but if it was, I'm sure Anya would love the idea of her adopted family wearing the costumes and going trick-or-treating (or even just wearing the costumes, for that matter). If they did, I would imagine Anya being the most excited about it...

...with Yor getting excited right along with her.

Loid, on the other hand...

He'd probably spend most of time thinking, "Can we get this over with? Being seen by so many neighbors can't bode well for the mission..." Heck, he probably wouldn't agree to it at all if his costume didn't include something to cover his face with. 😄

So, in case it wasn't obvious already, I had some fun drawing this one. I'm not sure if trick-or-treating is a thing in Ostania (or if it would even be doable in such a big city), but I loved the idea of the Forger family dressing up as a family of superheroes too much not to see what it would look like. And hey, that's technically what they are, isn't it? It's quite fitting, actually. 😊

For their facial expressions, I used a few different pictures: A screenshot for Yor's face (which I've used once before, is it turns out)...

...and another promotional picture for Anya's face, which I also used as a reference for their whole bodies.

For their costumes, I used a picture of the Parr family in their iconic costumes.

Getting the shine of the black sections right was a challenge, but a pretty fun one, I'd say.

And finally, for the outdoor background (which I probably spent way more time fussing with than I needed to), I used another Spy x Family screenshot.

Put it all together, and you've got what I believe to be an adorable scene of a family of heroes dressed as members of another family of heroes and taking part in my favorite Halloween tradition! (And probably the only one I enjoy, to be honest. 😏)

Sorry we couldn't have the fancy lead-up to this drawing that I was planning, but I ultimately decided this would be better than having to push my deadline back over and over again until God knows when. And hey, with all the added time this gives me, now you'll really have something to look forward to this Halloween! 😉

So I came back to thinking about Freemakers, but I also kinda came back to watching some Miraculous episodes. I got some ideas and I present to you... The Freemaker Adventures: Miraculous AU.

Important notes:

- this AU doesn't have any romantic aspects FOR OBVIOUS REASON, this is entirely different story based on the one from Freemakers. We're ignoring the story from Miraculous Ladybug and Chat Noir,

- the AU is placed in Miraculous world, so it's a modern world instead of star wars one,

- the story is a wip and is mostly created for fun, I'm not even sure if I'm ever going to finish it, because I'm just messing around here with creating designs and stuff.

Honestly the lore for it is like... really long and I'm not sure if I want to write it with all details here, because tumblr will crash, but maybe I'll try to shorten it up lol

The Freemakers have a simple workshop in the city (some kind of capital, maybe it's still Paris, although my friend told me it should be a Warsaw lol). Rowan is a normal kid, but at some point he gets the Cat Miraculous from injuried man who later dies in the hospital. Akumas start appearing in the capital and Rowan is supposed to fight them. But then the Ladybug Miraculous holder appears and helps him out. The mysterious lady calls herself Master of Miraculous and says that she came to capital to retrieve all the Miraculous from thieves who have the box with the other jewels and are responsible for sending out Akumas. Rowan agrees to help her, because she seems trustworthy and teaches him about Miraculous, but little does he know that the lady's real name is Naare and she's actually using him to help her get all the other Miraculous so she could have a wish and become powerful (in this AU, you need all the Miraculous for that). He's not revealing his identity to her though, which kinda frustrates her.

They save a city countless of times. Rowan really likes his new role as a superhero and he doesn't have any problems with sneaking out from the workshop or school, even if his siblings scold him all the time.

But at one point Rowan figures out that Naare is actually evil and somehow they swap their Miraculous without revealing who they are. There's also a big fight including Rowan, Naare and Butterfly and Peacock's holders (Palpatine and Vader). The mysterious figures are using the other Miraculous too and Rowan actually managed to steal two of them from them and escape home.

Rowan is devastated after loosing Cat's Miraculous. He doesn't know how he's supposed to be the holder of Power of Creation, because he never saw himself as someone who can create instead of destroy.

He now also has two other Miraculous he needs to protect: Snake and Dog (he doesn't use them, he already has one jewel to worry about). His new kwami Tikki believes in him, but he really misses Plagg and gets really depressed about his new role. At one point, just like Marinette in original show, he finally breaks down and tells Kordi and Zander his secret identity and basically the whole thing. They're shocked. Kordi doesn't like the fact that Rowan was risking himself all this time, but Zander tells her that he saved their city countless of times and that he needs support now. Rowan then tells them about two other Miraculous and his siblings actually help him out, becoming superheroes too. Kordi gets the snake Miraculous and Zander gets the Dog Miraculous. Rowan then gets the hang of Ladybug Miraculous.

The story would probably end with them defeating Naare, Palpatine and Vader and taking all their Miraculous away. I kinda wonder if it would be better if they ran away from the capital like they did in Freemaker Adventures or if they should defeat the villains for good and just stay there, living their normal lives, just taking care of those small god-like creatures. Personally I think the second version is better. Running away never worked in Miraculous universe anyway.

Superhero names are work in progress, but for now it's:

- Ladybug/Master of Miraculous (Naare with Ladybug Miraculous, lying about her secret identity),

- Black Cat (Rowan with Cat Miraculous),

- Dark Panther (Naare with Cat Miraculous),

- Teenbug (Rowan with Ladybug Miraculous)- Personally I call him Biedronek tho (it's kinda like Bugboy in Polish and I think it sounds better).

Mr. Bug and Cait Sith AU | Part II

Mr. Bug insisted that he could talk to Marinette's parents alone, but Viperion refused, this was not only a matter of heroism anymore, this was about Marinette: their friend, their partner, their--

"I don't need help, Viperion" Red with black polka dots usually made Adrien look really good, the ladybug mantle bringing his most calculating side to the light, it made Luka feel weak on his knees, but know it felt like a dead weight on top of him, his tired expression made him look older "I'm the guardian now, this is my responsibility".

"There are many things that we're not doing now, Chat Noir" He emphasizes his cat persona, looking at the ring on his finger "And becoming Ladybug during her early days of guardianship it's one of them".

"This is all my fault I should've-"

"Stop it!" Viperion snaps."It is not your fault, alright? And I'm going with you, you won't do this alone because you're not. "

They left Marinette in the hospital for her check up and promised her they would come back with her parents, she was nervous and didn't want to be left alone with strangers (event though for her everyone was a stranger) but this was something they had to do. Now they went all their way to the bakery, lading on Marinette's old balcony, preparing themselves for the conversation they are about to have.

"Should I... Transform back? To Chat Noir, I mean" Adrien mumbles, he is scared.

"Yes," Viperion nods. "It will be for the best."

Adrien does a quick transformation, unifying his transformation and then releasing Tikki.

"Are you sure you want to do this, Chat Noir?" Tikki sounds really sad. She just lost a friend. She loved all her ladybugs, but she had a very special bond with Marinette, her little bug, Tikki wished she could protect her from all evil, but now she won't even be able to talk to her.

"They deserve the truth," said the black cat. "The whole truth."

The snake knows what he means by that. He also knows that Adrien is not including his identity in the mix of things he wants to say, but Luka almost wants to tell him that he is also going to reveal himself, but at the end he decides to see how the conversation develops first before making any decisions.

With a jump, they leave the balcony and fall in front of the door of the bakery, Sabine is giving a box with macaroons to a client. Things are normal now that Chrysalis left, and Mr. Bug called for his miraculous cure. People on the internet wondered what happened to Ladybug, but since it wasn't the first time they saw the other bug, they just assumed Lady Noire was helping in the backstage for some reason.

"Ah, Chat Noir, Viperion." She smiles at them, and the older guy almost winces "How lovely, what brings you here? Do you need something?".

"Actually, uhm, could you close the bakery for a moment? I need to talk to you, Madame, and your husband too" Chat's ears are down, and his voice sounds strangled.

"Did something happen to Marinette?" The woman's smile drops, and now she is anxious.

"She is okay" Chat Noir sounds so tired "But there's something I really need you to know".

Sabine stops for a second, trying to breathe. She walks out of the counter and locks the door of the bakery, putting up the 'closed' sign. She then makes them go up to the house, where Tom is preparing lunch for himself and her wife. He gets as worried as Sabine when he sees two heroes in his house, and his wife's expression does not help. It feels like a hundred years has passed, but they eventually find themselves in the living room, waiting for whatever Chat Noir needs to tell them.

"I fear there's no good way to tell you this, madame Cheng and monsieur Dupain, and I'm sorry you're finding out in these circumstances" The cat speaks fast, trying to be as clear as possible "Marinette was Ladybug, she was... she was our hero. "

Their expressions were difficult to read, Luka could hear their inner melodies becoming an absolute festival of chaos.

Sabine was the first one to talk, sounding really angry. "What do you mean "was"? You said she was okay!" If looks could kill, Chat Noir would be six feet under.

"She is physically okay" He rushes to clarify "But we were fighting Chrysalis, everything happened so fast and I couldn't--" Chat Noir voice breaks "She sacrificed her memories to protect us all, to prevent Chrysalis to find out about our secret identities, I'm so sorry, I failed, this is all my fault".

The holder of destruction sobs, and Viperion is about to reach him, but Sabine is faster, she cries, hugging the black cat, quickly followed by Tom, so he cries louder, it's difficult to not picture an actual cat in that moment, he seems so vulnerable and hurt.

"Now, Chat Noir, Ladybug wouldn't like if you said that, would she?" Sabine scolds him softly, it was something easy to understand, Chat Noir has always sacrificed himself for Ladybug, there was no point to blame him, when he clearly would give everything to be in her place, they trusted him since the heroes were as young as thirteen years old, they wouldn't stop now, even when it hurt.

"I always knew my little girl was stronger than anyone thought but to think she was..." Tom is a mess himself, a heartbroken dad, mourning the loss of the girl he raised.

"We're still going to need the full story, Chat Noir" Sabine says, giving him some space. The blonde sighs, and with a quick command, he detransforms.

The Dupain-Cheng household remains silent as the couple loses their breath as they see the familiar peridot eyes filled with a devastating sadness, reddened because of his tears. Defeated stands one of their daughter's fiancés in front of them.

Marty Beller- The Early Days?

marty, comparted to the Johns, has a very cloudy past that we know nothing about. All we know is that he joined TMBG at some point

one theory I've seen floating around it that Marty's parents couldn't afford their bills, so they ended up SELLING Marty to TMBG! This would explain why his name is Marty.

The Assassin?

Marty Beller is known for being fast, drumming, and being precise. All skills needed to be an ASSASSIN! Also, look into Marty Beller's sinister face and tell me he hasn't killed before.

i knew of this kid named James Piest and he liked TMBG EXCEPT he wasn't too keen on John Linnell. No idea why you'd like the band if you hate one of the leaders. Anyways, Marty Beller 'escorted' him personally to his car...but actually not! They found James DEAD on the cold disgusting asphalt with a lot of blood and a lot of bullet casings and on the car door it said- 'WORK OF MB'...Marty Beller?

also, while no big media outlet will talk about this, David Byrne found a letter neatly tucked into his car wipers that said "COLLAB WITH TMBG OR DIE YOU DIE MB"...suspicious.

The need for a second Marty

since every member has a buddy, it'd just make sense for Marty to have one. But poor ol Marty Smeller doesn't...or does he? Did?

you know how sometimes how siblings kill each other? Maybe that's what happened to the other Marty. This seemingly random skeleton pictured above is standing right next to where the OTHER Marty would be...that's very weird, don't you think? So you shouldn't feel bad about Marty not having a second half, because he likely did and just killed him.

Is it REALLY Marty Beller?

In 2011, TMBG released a song called "Marty Beller Mask", which subtly revealed that Marty Beller was IN FACT Whitney Houston.

as you can see, it is very very easy to get in possession of a Marty Beller mask. In 2009, thats when Whitney Houston released her last album and then likely when she took over Marty Beller's life. She does a good job but I wish she'd stop being so evil and stop promoting her music all the time.

this isn't even Marty's fault, it shows the callousness of TMBG just letting their bandmate get his identity tooken over. It makes it a little less dark if you think that she just takes over for live performances because she is so talented

Okay so last night i finished watching the entirety of Okage Shadow King and-

.... I dont even know where to start. this is unlike any game ive watched or played before. It felt so weird yet so enticing and half of the time i couldn't tell if my brain was rotting or there was just some real deep lore or hidden meaning in here Maybe both??? and it left a strange, creepy, yet longing and nostalgic feeling in the back of my head too.

Let me explain.

okay so First of all, the visual style of the game looks awesome I loved the characters and the dynamics going on between the NPC's and especially the main characters. I loved enjoying the witty banter and arguing between Stan and Rosalyn the most. But also, why is Stan insulting and body shaming her so much SHE AINT EVEN FAT??? i LOOK AT HER MODEL AND IM LIKE BRUH

for some odd reason i still found it funny though. Some of the humor might've even been exaggerated to a degree as well(not sure if that was intentional). Even if the writing and dialogue was a bit lost in translation, maybe perhaps, it was still pretty good as a whole and it caught me by surprise.

As for the world and NPC's... something definitely felt off at the beginning and i guess thats what gave me the initial unsettling feeling. Everyone just seemed so bent on doing their own part like dude i couldn't even explain to you Our main protagonist, Ari, is just a wet pathetic little boy who lets everyone step on him/lh Damn, even his own family doesn't seem to care much for him as an individual person and doesn't consider that he has his own ambitions and it rubbed me in a weird way. and yet for some reason i was still hooked. and then came STANLEY HIHAT TRINIDAD THE FOURTEENTH(the 3d challenged flappy shadow)to sweep our poor little boy off his feet and make him his "slave"(adoptive son/j) so he can conquer the world bfhdgsdvhgdfbgdhjg which btw how could anyone take any "evil king" that seriously with a name like that? I LOVE IT. i really enjoyed him getting his ghostly ass handed to him by the NPC's it was hilarious. He was-without a shadow of a doubt(hehehehehe)- the best character. Also it's so funny how he claims to be an evil king but intentionally and unintentionally does good things? I love that trope with villians. Anywho getting off track a little, Another thing that struck out to me was the soundtrack. It's pretty unique, but at times can get pretty repetitive. The ones i enjoy a lot are -Forest of willkur(just really encompasses the feel of the entire game) -Evil King Battle and my favorite- -Addashi Desert(got me in a shimmy FR)

anywho going back to repetitive things... Eeeeeee... the fighting mechanics are sure something(GOD WHY ARENT THE COMMANDS BEING CARRIED OUT ON TIME WH- IS THE GAME POSSESSED??? DID STAN POSSESS THE GAME???) Also why are there ghosts in broad daylight?? WHY ARE THERE SO MANY GHOSTSSSS) i get it, you do need to grind for items and XP in this game but it looks pretty tedious, especially deep grave pit... oh lordy dude there are literally eight floors in the cave its not a cave its the 7 circles of hell(plus front desk)/j I don't wanna dunk on this game but the fighting could use improvements. Back to the story... i like the melancholy turn it takes when princess Marlene was revealed to be a doll which made total sense when Stan found she had no soul, the reveal of Beiloune's true identity, and when Ari becomes totally ignored and forgotten by just about everyone and from that point going forward the game took a more serious turn... also why does Triste(which means sad in spanish and i see what they did there-)

... why does that remind me of the wasteland from Epic Mickey where other people who've been forgotten reside there... also the dark, odd vibe of both games kinda match too. Another thing, I'm not sure if anyone else had the same thoughts but did anyone else expect a twist where Ari would become the evil king??? i mean, if this was a supposed journey of our main character who is always reminded about how much of a pushover he is would've lead me to think that the buildup would lead to something like Beiloune making him all powerful and force him to fight against his friends. But the last chapter also surprised me with its own twist and im digging that too. but yeah just about everything was coming back together about why the world was and felt as it is. its always the butler isnt it? Adrien/Chat Noir

I think to the disappointment of many this special wasn't for him to shine, it was for him to suffer (again). A lot of us thought and believed that Timestalker will be Adrien or him from the future and tried to search for signs to justify that idea. I honestly didn't want him to be left out to that extent, even if he'd have been the villain it still would have been nice to see him more in the special. But I guess his absence is understandable at some level. He needs all the time to recover, grieve and be with his loved ones after getting such horrible news. I really want to believe that the fact we didn't see a future Adrien turning full evil means that things will turn out for the better in the future, at least that's my conclusion form Bunnyxs's reaction to Marinette's question.

If I remember correctly we haven't seen Adrien outburst so emotionally like that before (except as Cash Noir),

and I think the reason for that is, his amok rings are not in his father's possession, for the first time. He always seemed emotionally repressed which is thanks to Gabriel who controlled every aspect of his life. We haven't got details on how Adrien dealt with his mother's passing, but given how he had to play the role of the perfect son I think he couldn't mourn properly. I really want to believe that this time he'll let himself feel all of his emotions properly in a healthy environment. On the other hand, I saw a post saying that from season 5's pool and the last Adrianette scenes, it looks like he's suppressing his feelings (I didn't read that post properly so I might be mistaken). That could be valid considering how delighted he looked despite only 2 months(?) have passed since his father's "sacrifice" and he has to deal with complex and possibly contradicting (due to the lie) emotions and it's impossible to get over this that fast. Well, that was only a snip of their life after the final battle, we don't know what he did before and we have yet to see what he will do after.

I only want to add to Adrien's feeling's, that he could be very confused above all else. There's no one to control him anymore so he's free to do anything, but he doesn't know himself all that much. He is processing his mother's death even now and the father who “just wanted to protect him all this time” is also died “as a hero”, but Adrien is still hurt by how Gabriel treated him. From the looks of it he'll still continue modeling in season 6 (?) which he really hated to do. So basically he's free AND trapped at the same time. All these contradicting feelings and uncertainty could lead to him being confused and doesn't know what to feel anymore, so he just let it go and is trying to focus on the joyful things instead.

I'd like to discuss one last thing here about the calendar, one of the Lucky Charms.

I've read posts about how that is an obvious sign that Marinette had to go get Chat Noir that she purposefully missed. Like, when was Ladybug's Lucky Charm obvious? If it would be, then our heroine wouldn't need to fight with a spoon. So, no guys, that wasn't for Marinette. Nooooo! That tiny, little, cute black cat was FOR US TO SUFFER. The creators were trolling with us, they were basically saying "haha that's what you won't get in this special". Besides, Chronobug and Bunnyx went back in time where Ladybug's identity was revealed. So even if they could have avoided for Marinette to discover Chat's identity, they couldn't have avoided Adrien to discover Ladybug's identity and it very much looks like the creators don't want an identity reveal yet.

Spectral Looter and Timestalker

Looks like Lilamoth is able to create abilities that don't have any apparent weak points. Spectral Looter can switch on and off her intangibility without needing any object for that and her ability is also allowing her to touch anything without switching off the intangibility. Timestalker can do small jumps in time and space and she also has a safety ability. Those watches in the boxes let her return to her lair if one of them broke, which is smart considering those watches can easily be mistaken for an akumatized object. If we're at the akumatized objects she hides both of them at her base, so no one can find out who they are. No wonder Marinette decided to leave the Kwamis with their holders, if Lila keeps up with this level of akumatization, or even better if she improves, then our heroes seriously need to get their act together.

Chronobug vs Spectral Looter wasn't as tight as a fight. It was mostly Chronobug chasing her opponent, trying to attack her even after she realized she couldn't touch her at all. I guess she waited for a moment when she could or tried to observe her if there's any opening for an effective attack. I'm kind of disappointed that we haven't seen more of Spectral Looter, her design was my favorite out of the two akumatization. And also her abilities, even though it's for just stealth and not attack, is really awesome.

Chronobug vs Timestalker on the other hand was a well choreographed, more amazing fight, fights actually since they clashed several times. Marinette showed us the results of being a superhero for, like, 9 months. And seeing Lila physically active was actually a surprise considering how she always seemed reluctant to engage in any kind of exercise while in school (the power of akumatization, I guess). Anyway, Chronobug’s and Bunnyx’s teamwork was spotless.

They made a great duo with how Bunnyx synchronized her portals with Chronobug's attacks. Timestalker with her own jumping made great counterattacks and looked as if they're reading each other's moves.

No doubt that Lila will make an terrific Hawkmoth. And now I'm thinking: how Marinette fought Gabriel while it should have been Adrien's fight (family issues), in the same way, Adrien could also deal with Lilamoth at the end since Marinette has a personal beef with her? I mostly think like that because I want to see Adrien using both the Black Cat and Ladybug Miraculous too.

I have a feeling that we won't see these two akumatized versions again, considering that Marinette already saw and fought with them, and she'd easily recognize them in those forms and with those powers, and with her experience with them she could defeat them more easily.

ever since they got back from the other universe, shadybug and claw noir have been helping the resistance fight against the supreme, however, on one of their missions, claw noir ends up somewhat injured, being the only one who knows his identity, shadybug has no choice but to help him

Paris's streets were illuminated with the infinite lines of lampposts and the moonlight as the people of this city slept peacefully there she was, jumping from roof to roof, Shady ducked behind chimneys from time to time to check if she's being followed, she quickly entered the room from the window that was purposefully left open, and gently placed the boy in her hands on the white sofa

"Blots off" she called out walking past the TV, a wave of magic washed over her to reveal her unmasked face and the black tank top and pink pants that hid under her costume, as she rushed to wash her hands bringing bandages, a clean cloth and water with her

"Shady-"

"detransform" she said, ignoring his attempt to get her attention

"it's seriously no big deal you don't have to bother yourself with this right now" he said sighing

"i said detransform" she replied with a glare

"daggers in" he called out rolling his eyes

"take your shirt off" she said setting the stuff on the table sitting next to him

his eyes widened and then he smirked

"slow down cockroach, didn't know you want me that bad" he teased

"adrien" she glared at him "shirt. off. now." he sighed, Marinette helped him get out of the shirt as he slightly winced in pain struggling to move

the bluenette gasped in horror her eyes widening at the sight of her partner's wounded chest her expression quickly changing to an angry one

"doesn't look alright to me, agrest" she sighed wetting the cloth "alright sit still" she commanded

they sat in silence as she gently cleaned the wounds, stoping whenever he winced or gasped. It didn't take her long before she was done bandaging him.

she stared at the ligature for a while a frown creeping up on her face, she hated to see him get hurt, sure, she did beat the living crap out of him before when she was evil, but it was never with the intention to hurt him, he just gets on her nerves and she's... she was a little violent, but she never wanted him to be hurt, you can hit people without wanting to hurt them right ? sometimes you even do it because you love them, just like her father used to... she cringed, nope, bad example, don't think about it

she sighed, and moved closer pressing a kiss on the bandage.

"oh" the blondie said, his cheeks burning at her gesture "didn't know you where the type to kiss it better" he smirked

the shorter girl looked up, a slight sadness was painted on her face

"adrien..." she mumbled "you really need to stop doing this..."

"doing what ?" he asked

"THIS, you just, keep putting yourself in danger, and doing all this crazy stuff and you end up getting hurt..."

"shady"

"...and what if you do one of these crazy stunts you pull one day and am not there and you get hurt again"

"...and then a villain finds you, and you're already hurt, and they get your miraculous, and you die and-"

"marinette" he yelled

"sorry..." she apologized, her cheeks flushing a bright red

adrien smiled at her

"i just worry about you" she whispered, not really wanting to admit that

"oh... you... you do ?" he asked his face also a shade of red now

she looked at him and nodded, her lips quivered and her brows forrowed, her bluebell eyes sparkled, unshed tears resting on her waterline. And god was she beautiful, she could look at him like that and ask for the world and he will bring it to her on a golden platter

he gently caressed her cheek with his thumb, he leaned closer placing a kiss on her forehead

"thank you" he said "I promis I will be more careful next time"

"you better be" she said chuckling slightly, she sighed frowning a little

"do you mean it"

"what" he asked looking back at her

"the promise" she bit her lip and looked away "do you really mean it" she said a hint of sadness in her voice

"of course i do m'shady" he said smiling pulling her close for a hug

her eyes widened "m'shady" she thought "i could get used to that" she smiled slightly resting her head on his chest as she closed her eyes

"i love you" she muttered

"what" the boy said snapping his head to look at the now peacefully snoozing beauty in his arms

Sorry it took long to get to this @pin-crusher2000 but Ill try answering it as thoroughly as I could ;-)

1) If we talk about the StarKnights, as of this writing, Jasper Logan has a small budding crush in Mar’i that’s been there ever since the two were little though she doesn’t notice it even after all this time. Jai (like he does canonically at this moment) has a small innocent crush on Maxine Baker, the daughter of Animal Man and the Avatar of the Red. Cerdian might not have a full blown crush on anyone just yet but there’s a tight platonic bond he has with Robert Long. If it does develop in romantic feelings, they’ll kick in sometime when the two are starting high school.

2) As per usual since he’s often close to Chris, Jon Kent is also considered akin to an honorary Grayson of sorts. While not formally taking complete training from Dick, Jon often accompanies Chris when the latter attends another superheroics lesson. In addition, he has a good friendship with Mar’i and is considered an honorary Tomorrow Titan with all his interactions with them and the amount of times he’s step in to help out.

3) Maybe the whole Agent 37 stuff for Dick….yeah for one thing even if he did get captured by an alternate evil version of the Justice League (in this case the Earth 3 Crime Syndicate), for one thing he’s not getting his secret identity revealed to the world and even if he’s force fed a heart paralyzer pill by Lex Luthor to get him off a universe destroying device, he’ll let everyone in the hero community know he’s perfectly a okay and he can resume his Nightwing duties without any issues.

Basically undo that whole silly nonsense of needing to go into hiding as a super duper secret agent and leaving everyone else in the dark about where’s he at until they have to find out themselves cause seriously he didn’t need any of that.

4) Very similar to the comics basically of his powers starting to kick in when he’s around 9-10, starting with enhanced hearing and durability followed up with his heat vision (though he would not accidentally fry the family pet Cat, Goldie cause I admit the way they handled that little plot element in the course of the Rebirth was a bit tacky) then comes in super strength and ability to leap great distances. Afterwards he’d sneeze out his freeze breath before being able to control it. Finally he’ll gain the ability of full flight. Of course these are developments that even in a scenario with Chris Kent present, Lois and Clark were still not entirely prepared for since while Clark and Chris had their powers from basically the onset or at least at a very early age, Jon was a relatively late bloomer. Nonetheless they were able to adjust and help him control said powers.

5) Chris: Easily returning to his life under his broth Father and helping him ruthlessly conquer the Earth, betraying everyone he lives and cares about, culminating with seeing himself as Lor Zod incinerate Dad Clark, his brothers, Jake and finally impaling Thara which gets him snapping awake and screaming in utter terror and tears.

Jake: Similarly simple yet still as haunting, rather than possible scenarios, it’s a full blown flashback to his fateful duel with Victor Zsasz and reliving all those pounding brutal hits with that crowbar and all those painful slashes and stabs with that rusty butcher knife, all over his pinned down self as his family and the kids still alive in their cages all watch. He snaps awake at the vital moment Zsasz lunges his blade right into the appendix region, causing to Jake gasp fully awake while instinctively clutching onto his side where his appendix used to be. Even if it doesn’t actually hurt…he can vividly remember when it did.

6) Despite the numerous close calls and even Jake confronting Zsasz after that particular incident with his emotions rising an all time high, nope the Duo haven’t taken another’s life and they have strong desires to not do so.
