It wasn't easy for him to handle his emotions and feelings. It wasn't very easy back when he was just a child, and it wasn't easy right now that he was older and carrying trauma.

It never crossed his mind that his mood could actually get better whenever he would spend time with more people than himself. It was probably why he would feel his nights getting a lot better whenever Red Robin would join him for patrol.

Of course it was all secret. Things that Batman didn't need to know, because fuck you, bastard.

But when Red Robin was there, fighting crime along him, chatting about the city or telling him what happed in class, it always made his nights... brighter.

There were nights they would argue. For Tim it seemed that it was just banter but for Jason... Things were a little bit different. He would take things personal and that would make him feel angry, defensive, and confused. It didn't happen whenever he would be talking nonstop with criminals, but when it was about Tim, things were completely different.

Perhaps it was because they were kind of new into this dynamic. They had been doing this for months now so their relationship-- friendship was new.

When was the last time Jason talked to someone without feeling defensive or like he needed to hide things? It has been years. The last person he did that to was Bruce and Alfred, back when he was just a kid. When he came back from the death he closed off completely and carried his grudges with him, as if they were the only things he had left in him. They were probably now part of his identity, if not all of it.

So when Tim would get a little bit rude on things that Jason liked or wanted to do, he would feel confused and defensive, and if it continued, he would get angry without knowing why.

He was standing outside the Ralli's restaurant, reading the menu while the people inside began to feel anxious as they looked at him. If Red Hood was there, it only meant there would be trouble. Bullets, blood, corpses. Of course he was here to kill someone, not to get dinner. Right?

That's what civilians thought as they whispered and felt their bodies tense with fear.

But outside Red Hood was only wondering if it was a good option to eat while Red Hood stood behind him, not even glancing at the menu to speak.

"That food is so cheap." He sighed dramatically.

Red Hood stopped reading the menu immediately. His intention of taking Tim to dinner disappearing completely.

This wasn't the first time that Tim had made that kind of comments these past nights. Whenever Jason was looking at any restaurant or bar to eat, Tim would make a negative comment about it. O'Shaughnessy's had rats, the Bottomless Barrel stunk to vomit, ADAH'S deli only had stupid people going there.

It made Jason upset but he didn't say a word. But tonight, he was getting tired of it. So tired.

"You have a problem," Red Hood spoke as he turned around. "This is probably why you're all skinny, bony ass."

"It's true, the food is cheap. I don't know why you even stop here to take a look."

Red Hood snorted.

"Fuck off."

"--what?" Red Robin only saw how Jason left using his grapple gun. There was no explanation, no nothing and it only left Tim even more confused. Did he touch a nerve?

These were things that Jason couldn't understand yet. How to handle a conversation when he was feeling attacked, when he was starting to feel ashamed of his own intentions.

When he was just a child he would be around Ralli's, sniffing the air, imagining how it would be to be able to have the money to pay their food. The delicious warm bread that he could see through the window panes. The steak and even the small vegetables. It all looked so delicious. How he wished he could take some for Catherine at least.

He tried to be patient with Tim but the more he continued doing those things, the more he would think about how unfair it was. Tim was someone with money, Jason wasn't. He only wanted a good place to invite Tim for dinner, to be the one who pays and feel like he was finally doing what his old self, the child, could never do.

It wasn't that he was holding a grudge to anyone who had more money or better opportunities than he did. It was only to those who spoke without thinking-- or maybe it was only because he felt vulnerable with Tim.

Maybe he should just cook his own food and stop thinking about doing something special to someone who doesn't even care.

I don't see much discourse about Study Group, although it's an absolute masterpiece, so let's put some content out here!

1.) The characters

Oh my babies. Hats off to the author, because he really can make a diverse set of people! Each character has a fleshed out backstory, defined goals and ideals (that are shown to clash with others, be it enemies or allies).

They're all very-human like in some way, with just enough cliché to make it enjoyable but not predictable.

(spoiler for chapter 252-253: I didn't know what choices Gamin and especially Geonyeob would make until the very last moment. Geonyeob had two choices ahead of him, and it heavily determined his future and showed a glimpse of what kind of person he is, how far he's willing to go for revenge... It surprised me, but boy was it an interesting chapter!)

You can't help but root for each and every one of them, prepare to get emotionally attached to them all!!

2.) The plot

This part deserves its own category.

The synopsis tells the base of the story. A high school boy that forms a study group, with the goal to enter university.

Easy, right? Simple goal, one that can be achieved if you study hard, right?

THINK AGAIN

First of all, and this is not a spoiler, our mc SUCKS ASS at studying. Like I'm not the best at studying either but he's on a whole new level. He puts time into it, is dedicated, tries his hardest... And still can't.

(I read theories that he may have a disability that affects his studying, like dyslexia or something, and it's very much possible!)

He's in an environment where people don't expect him to study since he's bad anyway, and actively try and sabotage his every attempt to get better grades & enter uni.

(Sounds cliche and weird but it makes sense if you learn about the plot later)

Every new character comes into the plot because of the study group he forms —directly or not directly, but they get in contact with the study group in a way later on.

And you know what's good about it?

The main character DOESN'T CHANGE.

He's not going "I'm powerful and cool now, so I'll choose the easy way out/focus on fighting instead/aim lower/etc," NO.

He's had a goal since day 1, and he's clinging to it like a fucking LIFE LINE.

There are arcs ofc, but the main goal is set, and the characters are slowly marching forward, doing their best to reach it.

3.) Realism

One more great thing? NO CLICHÉS

I'm taking about the story here.

There's NO "the power of friendship saves the day", no "the evil villain gets defeated simply because he's the evil villain", no "mc gets what he wants easily because he's the main character".

(and no "every girl falls for mc and he builds a harem around himself bc he's the mc". There's barely any romance in it, and it's not forced or unrealistic)

There are forces in front of the main character which affect his story, yet he cannot fight them because he's still a child, or a student, or a part of a system that is made to oppress him. Corruption, manipulation, crimes... It's realistic in the best way, with no easy way out.

There are highs and lows for our characters, and for a few moments, after a cool fight where they won, you might fall into the mistake of thinking about this story like any other : "oh, they're going to win after all! They're the main characters, they'll make it! "

... Just for the issues of the plot to slap the naive thought out of your head not even a chapter later.

Corruption is rooted deep, and this story portrays it beautifully : how getting rid of one, two or several causes won't make it all disappear.

To what extent people can be controlled by money and power.

How the powerful uses the weak, how the wealthy use those below them for their own benefit.

How adults would rather destroy children's futures and lives just to squeeze a few penny out of them and get rich from their misery.

The main character is idealistic in a corrupted world, refusing to give up on what he thinks is right —where most people around him choose the easy way out and give up their beliefs, their present and future for quick cash, for promises of wealth and power.

He is their mirror, their proof that you can stay true to yourself and fight through your misery, even if it's hard, even if it seems absolutely hopeless.

There are many arcs, and each show different approaches to this, but this is the core essence of the story. That you can choose the easy road, but you don't have to. You can fight for your goals even if everyone says you'll fail.

And so many people can't see past the fight scenes and the "action manhwa" tag, thinking that if the story doesn't show them some peak badass mc-gets-what-he-wants-through-fighting moment, the whole thing is trash.

Yes, this is an action manhwa, with fights. But it isn't about fighting.

And lastly, honorable mentions to this gem:

4.) Portrayal of stereotypes

Best parts coming up!!

As usual, every story has stereotypes portrayed in them.

How men are stronger than women, how gangsters act or rich kids behave. How bullies and nerds interact.

They don't gloss over these stereotypes.

Women are physically smaller and weaker. Rich kids are assholes, bullies are cruel and victims are weak.

They don't make them magically gain courage, change their behaviour overnight OR make these things seem cool.

They make changes.

Step by step, they are influenced by each other (not just the mc, but other characters as well: they exist even when the mc isn't present). They're weak, and powerless, but they learn to be brave. They find a way to fight : maybe they don't become martial artists overnight, but each one of them develops their own method to survive in their fucked up life.

If they need to study better, they ask their friends and teacher for help. If they need to fight, they do so for the sake of protecting themselves and what is important to them : family, friends, a cause.

None of them are made as a gear to move the plot forward, they're their own characters. And they have clichés. They have stereotypical behaviours, and maybe even look stereotypical. But even so, they're not making it their only personality trait : they're complex, and flawed, and make mistakes.

And it's beautiful.

Oh god I love this story dearly.

First off, I imagine Miguel and Y/N knowing each other from a young age

Either from elementary school, or through their parents.

For now I'll go with the elementary school option,

So the two of you definitely know each other since a long while, sticking around through both the good and the bad times.

I also see Y/N as a bit of a nosy friend, especially so since Miguel tends to keep most things to himself (or everything given the chance.)

Anyway, I'm going to skip most of their childhood  because it isn't as interesting as after he's bitten.

Miguel would definitely try to keep a distance from Y/N after he's found out about his powers, especially since he doesn't entirely know how to deal with the consequences of his new abilities.

And of course Y/N would eventually just break his shell, and demand answers.

Que Miguel just showing them and Y/N being completely speechless for a bit, before going 'What're you going to do now?'.

Eventually, you become his person in the chair before Lyla is even created.

(Speaking of Lyla, you might be the one to create her. Creating her as a practical best friend first and a 'business AI' second.)

I also imagine you'd definitely be there when it comes to creating the Spider Society. 

Like that building is huge and the interior is downright badass but who could make that happen without Miguel revealing his identity?

Because plot twist you're not just good with computers, you're also great at designing stuff (aka most of spider society, and the biggest part of the Gizmo)

You're there from the start, from before the spider society grew big, and before he made the grave mistake of living in a universe he didn't belong to.

You warned him, you really did, but he wouldn't listen to you.

You're also the person he falls back on for comfort when he destroys Gabriella and the universe she's from.

He tells you all about his guilt, and how it should absolutely never happen again.

After that he's more of a ghost of the person you're used to.

Yet you never leave him.

He's your best friend after all.

You help him heal.

You're the person who cares for him when he can't seem to care for himself.

And you're also the only person he turns to outside of being spiderman.

The only person who could get him out of his lab for a few hours to go to the movie theatre because something came out you really wanted to see.

He doesn't mind spending time with you outside of the spider society, feeling incredibly grateful that he has you by his side.

(Down below is you as his romantic interest in his life aswell.)

What he also wouldn't tell you is that in this universe, you're his partner. Gabriella's other parents. Which makes it all the harder.

Because he's liked you as more than a friend in this universe since forever, so it definitely hurts when he found out that you are everything he wishes to be with you in this other universe.

You'll never know the truth behind his cries when he cries into your arms when he comes back.

Because he feels like he's responsible for killing the other you as well, a variant of the person he loves so much.

He feels guilty for crying in your arms as well.

Especially because he knows that if you were to know the truth, you'd probably forgive him, and tell him that he at least learned from this.

He'd also definitely be overprotective of you afterwards.

Often trying to keep you close to him for no apparent reason.

Also because he loves your presence.

But also because he's scared something might happen to you when you're outside of the society, or while he's in another universe whilst you're here.

You're the only person he'll ever love, he thinks.

obviously sera and vivienne are very, very different from each other... but I think one important commonality between them is a desire to avoid anarchy as a solution

sera doesn't want the red jennies to become a new political power - she wants to keep the current batch of nobles on edge, knowing that the "red jenny" may come for them if they fuck up too much. she also doesn't want to take out all the current nobles bc she knows that new ones will rise to take their place. she hates the nobles, but she also sees how an anarchist revolution would harm the very people she cares about, those she's trying to help as a red jenny

vivienne doesn't want to abolish the circles, but she also doesn't want to permit the abuses within them... but she, quite realistically, views the destruction of the chantry/subsequent vote for the dissolution of the circles as an inciting factor in the mage-templar war

anders' actions gave people new and immediate reason to fear mages. whether he was right to do it or not - and I tend to think he was - does not preclude it having consequences, even those that directly harm the very group he was trying to liberate

further, the function of the circles as a place for mages to train is necessary, and is also why I personally tend to feel a little uncomfortable with direct parallels being made to rl groups. no minority or oppressed group in rl can accidentally burn down the family barn because they get upset. I'm all for ppl making these connections if that works for them, but I always look at things first and foremost as existing within their canon context, not referencing reality outside of it

with that in mind... training mages is necessary. they need to be able to avoid possession, to learn to control their abilities, etc. does it need to be in a circle tower? no! ofc not! but there does need to be a form of training

vivienne sees the circles as fulfilling that role. the dissolution of them plunged mages into uncertainty - the anarchy she is so opposed to. who will train new mages now? how will they even be discovered?

in banter with dorian, sera once mentions a mage who got picked up by the templars, so he's "better now." dorian reacted with shock, asking if she knew what the southern circles are like, and she replied that he got three square meals a day, a cot. and he wouldn't starve or be killed in the street, both of which she'd seen

this isn't saying circles are the ideal, because they have abuses occurring within them too. the one in kirkwall seemed to be the worst, but we can't know the extent of it in every circle throughout time. it is, however, a place with a severe power imbalance and stark controls placed upon people as a matter of course

it is also the current and only solution within a large part of thedas. without it, what will happen to those kids who get mad and burn a building down? will the non-mages around them be kind, or will they be brutal? will they be able to turn them over to rogue apostates?

this is the problem with anarchy imo - some systems absolutely deserve to be destroyed, but there are a LOT of people who are going to fall through the cracks in an anarchist revolution

so, tl;dr: anders was right. and vivienne is right. circles are bad, but they are also the only system in place rn. and sera and vivienne have an anti-anarchy pov that they share, which is very interesting to me.

I haven’t read the books but I do know what they have done with Moiraine and Siuan’s relationship is way more than it was in the books. On the one hand they developed it fully, have given them a very clear and deep 20 year relationship. And on the other hand, they also destroyed it fully by the end of season 2. Where do you think they are taking this? Will they stick to the books and give them their other relationships or will they weave them back together. It’s anyone’s guess but am interested to hear what yours is. I like the theory that their fallout was preplanned and part of the reason the episode was called daes daemar. But me liking something does not equal logic and fact to be sure

imo there's 0 chance that either of them will have their book relationships, that's just not happening and i find it a little silly when people (not you! but i've seen others doing it) immediately panic and think the show broke them up for that purpose haha of course i can understand why people are worried and upset! but it feels so SO unlikely that either character would ever have a romance with anyone but each other in the show, so that is one worry i think it's pretty safe to set aside altogether. (for time constraint reasons if nothing else; giving moiraine and/or siuan a brand-new love interest and having to develop that relationship would be far from the best use of the show's limited time. plus, i remember rafe outright called moiraine a lesbian in an interview once, so i highly doubt he's got plans for her, at least, to have a male love interest at any point.)

this got a little long so putting a read more!

personally i don't buy the preplanned fallout theory because i think the waygate scene doesn't work with it. if their goal was to make rand trust moiraine, then they accomplished that with their scene in the throne room; there was no need for siuan to chase them down to the waygate, she could've just let them leave if she was in on moiraine's plan here. the only time this theory felt plausible to me is when someone suggested they were in on it together UP UNTIL siuan saw moiraine channeling after moiraine had told her she was stilled, and so everything before that point was an act but everything after was genuine. but even then, it's tricky to explain why siuan would have even chased them to the waygate in the first place - unless she just wanted to make sure they got away successfully and/or wanted leane & co to think she made an effort to stop them, but then catching moiraine in an apparent lie made her change her mind and actually try to stop them? but yeah, imo there's no way the waygate scene was not genuine, but it's possible (but still unlikely; again imo) that the scenes before it were part of a scheme.

and to me, that's okay! to me, as a queer person myself (but ofc i'm just speaking for myself, not for All Queer People), giving queer characters and queer relationships the same narrative weight as het ones also means letting them be flawed and have conflict, rather than keeping them up on a pedestal of perfection and ultimately relegating them to the background of the story because you won't let them face obstacles or develop. i understand why others don't feel that way and were upset by the way things went down in 2x07, but that's just my personal feeling and that's why i personally wasn't bothered to see siuan and moiraine have major conflict here (especially since, unlike the Queer Traumaporn in so much media, this conflict had nothing to do with them being queer - it just felt like a natural conflict that arose from the two characters' specific personalities and life circumstances, as opposed to feeling like they were being punished by their world or by the narrative for being queer, you know?)

duty is a huge theme of WOT and here we saw how moiraine and siuan are both so committed to duty above absolutely everything else. they are both willing to sacrifice anything for what they each see as the greater good, and here, when they realize they have different ideas* about what best serves the greater good, they sacrifice even their relationship with each other because they feel they have no other choice, because they've spent 20 years training themselves to think that the greater good is more important than their personal happiness. to me it's so beautifully tragic! and to me it felt like the best kind of tragedy, one that's rooted in the specific characterization of the individuals involved and on all the previous choices they've made that built up to make the moment of tragedy an inevitable outcome.

*and both are reasonable and in-character ideas that were set up last season. we saw how in their discussion of "can the prophecies be trusted?" in 1x06 that moiraine is skeptical of tower tradition/protocol because she's been out in the world and largely cut off from the tower for 20 years, whereas siuan tends to trust tower tradition/protocol because she's been in the tower leading it for 20 years. and now in s2, from moiraine's perspective they need to break with tower protocol because the tower is too fractured and they have too many enemies within it, but from siuan's perspective they need to return to tower protocol because they tried going rogue and doing so freed the forsaken and was a huge mistake.

all this being said, i do not by any means think the relationship is 100% dead and over for good. like you say, the show put in work to make their relationship much deeper than it was in the books, and i don't think that was for nothing! i think that siuan in particular has been set up for a really meaty character development arc and that this is only the very beginning for her, and that by the end of the show we'll see the two of them reconcile and come back together. maybe i'm totally wrong and maybe it'll turn out that i shouldn't have given the benefit of the doubt, but as of now i don't feel there's reason to worry the show has completely trashed their relationship for good. but season 3 will be a make-or-break season, so by the end of that, depending on how certain book events play out, we should have a much clearer idea of their long-term plans for siuan and siuaraine!

Theories for Episodes 4 & 5

If you haven't watched the first 3 episodes, beware! Spoilers up ahead!

Ok, so Blackbeard tried to murder literally everyone on the revenge. There is not a single person person aboard that would be cool with him just hanging about (with the exception of Stede ofc). My thinking is that for episode 4:

-the crew will be begging Stede to maroon Ed, or just leave him at their next stop, Stede's gonna be all, 'i can change him, we can make this work'

-the Bell comes into play here because Ed is alive and terrifying and his presence must be known at all times. When he is near, everyone flinches, Fang nearly cries and that sets everyone off.

-Ed isn't going to want to stay aboard the revenge anymore. He would be happy to leave especially with Stede being so close by, it's just a stab wound to the heart everytime they're near, which brings me to my next point

-We all know the reunion is gonna be awkward as hell and Stede's heart is gonna fucking shatter, because yeah they love each other and yeah, Stede literally brought Ed back from the purgatory, but as if Ed's gonna just be straight up with him about it. Nah, he's gonna downplay it all and they are gonna pine for each other and it's gonna drive EVERYONE INSANE

-Just imagine it, the pining, Stede and Ed wistfully glancing at one another from across the ship, Ed turns away, Stede looks down all sad, Ed looks back at him, you can hear the swell of their hearts, its gonna be ridiculous, it'll be very akin to the "Ohmygod this is happening"

-Auxiliary Wardrobe reveal!!! Since only Ed and Stede know of it's existence, I am willing to bet that they spend some time talking in there but what is the state of the room? Is it pristine, untouched and unsoiled? Is it Ed's personal crying hole? Has he been sleeping in there, running his fingers across silks and throwing stuff around in fits of anger? I'm not too sure, but it'd be sweet if it's almost as Stede left it. Ed already destroyed so much of Stede's but this was something he also loved.

-Mary and Anne!!! The crew of the revenge decide to port and lo and behold, Ed knows where to go and finds his old friends! I have a feeling that after that whole awkward dinner double date, Ed will finally tell Stede that he isn't coming back aboard the revenge. That he doesn't want them to be like Anne and Mary just doing crazy shit to make their romance interesting. They'll see the red flags in their own relationship and well

-Ed leaves...

Something interesting that I noticed upon my rewatch of the teaser for episodes 4 & 5 is that when Stede is talking to Izzy and is basically asking him to teach him all that he knows, Stede says, "Blackbeard did say you taught him everything you know" Blackbeard??? Why isn't he calling him 'Edward'??? Just an interesting lil detail.

-the curse episode is gonna be goofy as hell and a much needed palate cleanser after all the angsty shit we've witnessed.

-another lil detail from the teaser, Stede has made they captain's cabin his again! He's getting dressed up, he has fixed the furniture or gotten new stuff, and it's very telling to me that Ed is gone . Izzy is even sitting in the cabin, entertaining Stede's antics .

-So, Izzy will become (somewhat) loyal to stede. After all, he saved their lives,didn't take out his anger upon them even after they admitted to killing Ed. No, Stede is flourishing as a captain and Izzy sees the potential to serve under Stede, and now that Ed's gone what else really is he to do?

-Izzy and Stede become (somewhat) besties!!! They train together, probably mourn the love of Ed together too. The crew grows back together and it's fun times again! But Stede still misses Ed deeply..

OMG actually what if they do indeed 'break up' so when we see Stede back at Spanish Jackie's, he's gone full 20-something-year-old, and is all 'Yeah, see this Ed? I'm having a great time without you! I don't feel even a sliver of sadness since we broke up, I'm gonna get absolutely trashed, I don't miss you at all-'

I'm gonna scream into the next year if that happens.

Anywho, these are just my predictions! Literally had to write 'em down because we still have 3 more days until we get our next episodes and I'm losing my mind!

Had it not been for Shirley, Break might have lost here, died even,, because what she says is right. He is fighting but he has not at all healed from his previous injuries from his unnecessary fight against Fang (which, thanks to Vincent, got aggravated, seriously what's the sewer rat's problem?!),, so he is fighting for and with his life. Chess Husbands Demon/Guardian Angel au

This is based off the joke they made in the finale abt Julian being a demon and this post abt Robin effectively serving as the guardian angel of Button House by @imdefyingmavity

At this point, Robin knows that he's supposed to be the protector of the House and its residents but he doesn't take his duties that seriously. Of course he does if it's an actual emergency like the burglary or if he particularly likes one of the ppl that live there like Sophie but generally he goes abt his own business running through the woods and looking at mouse babies and not really paying that much attention to what the living people are doing. However when Julian shows up, things change. He's the only other ghost who can interact with the living world in a physical way. He's not the best person though and is very cheeky but Robin thinks he's great and they bond quickly. He overlooks all the warning signs; Julian turning on the radio bc he wants to hear the music too, Julian pushing cups off tables so they break because it's funny, Julian poking living people bc a man has needs, alright? He even doesn't think anything much of Julian using his powers to try to murder Alison; she hadn't been there that long and was going to mess everything up. (Again, Robin's not always the best at his job lol)

Now here's where it could go a number of different ways. I can't pick.

Ending 1: (This one's my favorite) It's a similar process becoming a demon or a guardian angel. It's grueling and essentially breaks your brain down and restructures it to better fit your new role. Robin did it thousands of years ago during one of the times when he was the only person at the House but he managed to keep his sanity in the isolation and become an angel. (Also his want to be part of a big tribe and to redeem himself for failing his tribe when he was alive helped with that outcome.) Julian, on the other hand, isn't doing as well. It's been thousands of years since Alison lived there, the House is completely different, friends have come and gone, and he's cracking. Robin tries to help him, talking to him, trying to engage him in activities like they used to do, but there's not much he can do to stop it. It's painful, watching the only friend he still had agonizingly losing his mind. It's only after it's all done, that they start fighting each other with epic ghost magic like you would expect from a demon and angel. The relatively harmless mischief Julian used to get up to has now been replaced with genuinely life threatening and destructive tendencies and it's a full-time job trying to keep the people on the property safe. Robin doesn't want to fight though; his heart breaks time every time he looks at him. Julian might still physically be there but Robin's lost another friend.

Ending 2A: Sometime between the Coopers leaving and the end scene where Alison comes back as an old woman, Robin finally moves on. Ofc all the ghosts are happy for him but it's still heartbreaking. Julian especially is lonely/upset and every time he tries to bring up how he feels abt it (bc yes, he talks abt his feelings now; blame Alison), the other ghosts just brush him off saying Robin's probably happier now, they knew this is what he wanted, etc. Julian's frustrated, angry, sad, lonely, and doesn't know what to do with himself. He isn't particularly close to any of the ghosts left so he spends a lot more time by himself. He releases his negative emotions by messing with the hotel guests. He smashes their stuff, locks their doors, rips up their clothes, and basically vents by destroying anything else he can get his hands on. His powers get stronger but so do his negative emotions (they feed into each other) until he's completely consumed by them. All the other ghosts are kinda scared of him at this point so they bring it up to Alison one year when she comes. She tells Julian off but quickly realizes he's just acting out because he feels like no one's listening to him and he feels alone now. She comforts him and they talk about Robin and he feels better. He still has very sinister tendencies now, there's no going back on that, but he can be relatively easily persuaded to not do the SUPER bad things.

Ending 2B: (This is the one I'm least sure abt) It starts out the same where Robin moves on in the hotel, Julain's upset and starts terrorizing the hotel guests to express that, and the other ghosts tell Alison about what's happening. She tries to tell him off but he's too far gone and he kills her. (Bonus points if he gets set off because he misinterprets what she's saying and thinks he's in trouble because he's still upset over Robin.) It's the first time he's killed someone and solidifies the fact that there's absolutely no coming back for him. This makes everyone (ghosts and humans) terrified and avoid him even more. Alison's death is a violent unsolvable mystery and the hotel eventually is forced to close. Over the years, many paranormal investigators and exorcists come to the house correctly convinced that Alison's murder was supernatural but he kills them all too before they can get very far. The people he kills don't stay as ghosts nor do they move on, they just seem to stop existing. The remaining ghosts have a theory that he's somehow taking their energy since he seems to get stronger after each one but they have no way to prove it. Even though he almost always ignores them, the ghosts spend the rest of eternity living in fear and hiding on the outskirts of the property.

what if. berserk but its one of those corny 70s/80s space race-flavoured sci-fi alien horror movies? with the whole retrofuturism aesthetic and low budget practical effects

i made griffith a woman bc yes, shes this prodigy scientist of some sort who has this uncanny ability to like predict stuff, to the point where her coworkers (other scientists at the, idk, National Extraterrestrial Defense Unit of Security and Research or wtvr) try to come up with explanations on How she can just know stuff. (its aliens. obviously.)

Caska would be one of the astronauts on her mission and really look up to griffith, the only woman in such a high-ranking position and someone who trusts and vouches for caska. She is still griffith's subaltern, and they barely see each other since they work in different sections.

Guts would start out as a mechanic, a low, manual labour position. The type the higher-up scientists would pass by when seeing the spaceships and not greet, which is exactly the situation where griffith first meets him. But!!! her spidey senses premonition thing tell her that he has this huge unfulfilled potential, and she manages to convince her superiors to transfer him to an astronaut position, since her instincts had never failed them.

The Zodd thing would be translated into a unexplainable error either in the system or infrastructure during a trial of which guts is participating (think that big spinny thing to accustom the astronauts to the g-force of takeoff!). Griffith would risk her position and her life to save him by, like, running into the breaker room and turning off the power. and ofc guts blames himself

maybe this is the event that triggers griffith's "imprisonment": she compromised the whole plant just to save one guy whos not even qualified to be an astronaut in the first place, but she can't get fired, cuz she ~knows too much~. so instead they do secret govmnt shit to her :O

or maybe this serves more like zodd's thing does in the canon: Guts feels guilty and even if griffith doesn't get [REDACTED], she still needs to regain her superiors' trust and becomes way colder and detached from the friendships she made with her coworkers to just focus on getting things done right. then guts would leave and she would do some other thing to piss her superiors off and get [REDACTED]. maybe something like finding secret aliens being studied by the government area 51 style, knowing something she shouldn't have.

still havent figured out what [REDACTED] means tho. im leaning towards smth like 'she gets captured for secret government human experiments!!!11! and gets cool powers' or 'she tries to get off the map so she doesn't get assassinated and comes in contact w aliens who r like u r the chosen one... we put you on this planet to spy on the humans for us and now its time you learn your true purpose.... cast aside your flesh and join us in destroying humanity!!!!' or like, 'she is imprisoned but they still have her work in accounting or something else where they think she'd be alienated (pun intended) but she has the Instinct and figures out where the secret aliens are stored or sabotages the mission or something' idk.

then she gets 'turned' either into a sentient all-powerful program, or an alien via parasitism, or she was just an alien all along, or as a consequence of the experiments, or she manages to contact the aliens and they do some alien transformation on her. then its guts and caska fighting in an alien apocalypse with silly rayguns :3

Space wars AU

It's ya boi with a new AU. This time with a little bit of darkness as spice. WARNING: This fic contains child abuse.

So let's jump into this shall we? The main idea is basicly both factions realise that Cybertron is going to be destroied if they keep up this war. So an agreement was made by Megatron and Optimus Prime which contains that the planet must be evacuated and they shall continue their warfare in space or other planets which don't have civilization on it (you can imagine that the latter was sometimes overruled). So there is the main ship of the fleet (Omega-1 on the autobot side Nemesis on the decepticon side) on this ship we have the representatives of each teams/squads (the other members are on other ships of the fleet ofc) so the bots who Optimus thinks he needs in close range. Sooo introducing the main cast! And guess what Smokescreen and Bumblebee star in this one too (well I always try to give everyone equal attention as someone should have khm live action khm khm) so basicly the story followes them and drum roll pls: Devcon✨. That's right I love this character and I need to see him more but not everyone can have their well deserved spot light.

Smokescreen

Prowl Blue and Smokes trinity is back. They are coming from an abusive family. Prowl as the older brother took it up on himself to protect his younger siblings. Smokescreen and Bluestreak disliked the way how their brother took every single hit for them but Prowl was stubborn as pit and he quicly shut down any attept from his siblings to take some of the responsibility of the protector roll. Eventually things got bad really quicly when Prowl got into the hospital with a broken chestplate. Smokescreen feared that he could lose his dear brother if he doesn't act. So he started doing bad stuff on purpose. Like starting random fights at school, stealing, gambeling and talked back to their "guardians" on every chance he got. Of course this had the desired effect the attetion shifted from the older sibling to the middle one. Prowl being still at the hospital and Blue not being old enough to help Smokescreen (he wouldn't have let him anyways) created a bad out come to Smokescreen. He took a beating so hard that his processor's memory department was damaged that led him with a really bad memory. Basicly he forgets a lot of things (mostly random things) but some come back to him naturally. This incident was enough for Prowl to say "no thank you" and left with his baby siblings.

Relationships

Prowl and Bluestreak after the incident become very protective of Smokescreen since he was now easy to take advantage of. Smokescreen appreciates them but sometimes he feels like they are going too far.

Bumblebee is Smokescreen's boyfriend (can't escape the Smokebee sorry I know I'm terrible shame on me) they got to know each other in the young soldier program. Their relationship is basicly every sappy teanage romance. No.1 notebook of Smokescreen's.

Devcon is the childhood friend who always helped the datsuns whenever he could. He had a loveing but poor family. No.2 notebook of Smokescreen's.

Personality

A sweet overenergetic young bot who is more then ready to prove himself. Real confused cinamonroll who is a big fan of Optimus and sees Prowl as his rolemodel. Can and will chat about everything. But don't let his cutness fool you cause he has a dark side. He can confuse the pit out of you and can lie and deceive you very easily (the cons are keeping him on the "20 most dangerous autobot hit list" he is that much of a problem.) He has the most info of every bot. So don't mess with him because he CAN ruin your life.

Bumblebee

Born in the "Slums" Bee was a very capable bot from day 1. He had to learn how to survive in a cruel world that only took things from him and never gave him anything. He never knew who his parents were but he never really cared. They left him and that's all that mattered to him. Ratchet found him when Bee tried to steal from him. He took him in and let the young mech choose his own path which was deciding to be a recruite in the Scout Team. He and Optimus worked together a lot and that made a Prime really fond of him. Tragedy striked when Megatron traumatized the scout by killing everyone in his squad and leaving him as the messanger to Optimus. The Prime was worried about the mechling and so he send him to the back lines of the war for a while until he feels ready to fight again.

Relationships

Smokescreen is his boyfriend as previously mentioned. He adores the young mech and his overly friendly and curious nature. He is always there to remind his love about the things he forgets from time to time and in exchange Smokescreen is always there with him to support him and cheer him up. It's a win win situation.

Ratchet is like a carrier to him. Most of his knowledge is from him and he respects the older bot. He is the most open with Ratchet and when something happens it's the old doctor that knows what's going on first.

Devcon and Bumblebee's relationship started pretty rocky. Bee found the bounty hunter scary and didn't understand what a guy like him was doing with a cinamonroll like Smokescreen. He thought he was dangerous at first but after getting to know the bot they become like brothers. Bonding over the protection of memory boy.

Personality

Before the incident he was a happy easy going bot but after he become more reserved. He become wary of bots and doesn't shares his real personality with everyone. But under the tough layer lies a gentle and really emotional bot. However he is still a force to be afraid of. He is really determinde bot who stands up after any blow (also on the hit list). Don't mess with his loved ones.

Devcon

Coming from a poor autobot family Devcon is determinde to become succesfull in life. He studies criminology for a while when his life took an unexpected turn. His family had an unpaid debt towards a decepticon maffia boss. Unfortunatly his family couldn't pay the maffia which killed them leaving a bloody message for Devcon. But the bot wasn't scared easily. Out of rage he hunt down the maffia one by one and after no one left he moved on. He realised his talent in bounty hunting and wanted to pursue this life carrier which however meant leaving his only friend behinde. Instead of chasing after the desired wealth he stayed beside Smokescreen and his siblings, using the occasional bounties to help them get by.

Relationships

Smokescreen is his trusted best friend. They were always there for each other no matter what. He visited countless doctors to get Smokescreen's memory problem treated but everyone said they can't help them. That didn't meant that he will stop trying.

Bumblebee is like a younger sibling to him that he didn't thought he needed. Would do anything to see the yellow bot smile. In his free time he reads "how to help bots through trauma" guide books.

Prowl and Blue are basicly family. Touch them and you will meet Devcon's sniper rifle up close.

Personality

Scary looking, quite bot but he is really empathic and a great friend in general. He always tries his best to give everything to the bots who stayed beside him. Tried older sibling vibes who mostly observes the chaos before joining in anyways. Calm and collected as always he is the type of bot who thinks first and acts after (truly a rare kind.) He is a deadly assassin who is also on the hit list (he is the highest out of the three of them, weird flex but okay) decepticons that mess with him and his rag tag family fear him.

preface just so i don't get sui-baited: i am a lesbian who loves femslash and my gripes with lumity boil down to it feeling like poor representation.

okay so i have two major gripes with lumity:

amity's "redemption" and how it rings less as her learning and more as her white girl tears absolving her of having done any harm

luz' total lack of agency or emotion towards amity until they get together

1) amity was a bully. this was not just because of her parents. if it was just about looking a certain way or convincing people she was a Strong, Capable Blight Witch, she wouldn't have cornered willow while willow was alone in their first introduction. you can't say "mommy made her do it" and then suddenly make her nice. keep her mean, make it a struggle for her. show us the hard, ugly parts about trying to become a better person. and by god, have luz hold her accountable.

on that note, 2) have luz hold her accountable!!!!! luz never seems to feel much of anything when it comes to amity beyond wanting to be her friend Like In The Books (which, what? she calls your new friend wizard slurs, girlfriend, wtf?) until VERY SUDDENLY having extreme feelings for amity that we never learn the reasoning behind. she doesn't seem upset that amity bullies willow except in her first appearance. she's barely upset when amity bullies king right in front of her. and afterwards, when they're suddenly friends, there's no indication of what makes luz want something more romantic from her.

so, to fix it: have luz say or show what is it about amity that makes her into her. because, with the way the show is written now, it seems like luz was never into her before, right down to it being a huge joke during the grom era of the show that luz was oblivious and stupid but i wont get into the Latine Character Is Stupid Hehe So Funny! trope that makes me want to destroy fandom rn

anyways, those are the big gripes i have: amity's nothing character and luz' nothing feelings for her.

a few ways i think you could fix lumity as a ship without larger rewrites like my above gripes would require is... have them compliment each other more? luz calls amity pretty a few times, implying she finds amity physically attractive at the very least, but amity doesn't compliment luz. she never calls luz pretty or handsome or anything. luz calls her a freaking goddess but the only time amity compliments luz is before the really ugly kiss in king's tide and even that mostly boils down to "haha she so stupid ♡ but whatever i guess it's fine ♡" (which.... fuck you fr. if you're going to keep amity mean only in certain moments, don't have it be about her fucking girlfriend!!!!!!)

idk this is all personal opinion ofc and i'm definitely biased against lumity itself due to cruel shippers but. having the only lesbian rep in the show be a mean white girl who suddenly has all her personality rubbed away because I Like Girls and My Mommy Is Mean was. frustrating. not to mention the fact that she literally tries to kill someone to keep her "gold star" in her first appearance, but i'll pretend that wasn't lesbophobic for a moment.

i used to really like amity and i was excited to have a textually lesbian character in a sapphic relationship in a cartoon but. it just feels so empty. and it makes it a huge disappointment fot me.

anyways ajdmsjdkd thanks for the ask! i've debating writing lumity myself because i do think it had a lot of potential to be a good ship, but lumity stans are some of the worst people on the planet, so i haven't bothered heh... so talking it out was a bit cathartic! :3 thanks again

Once the demon head and anybody related to him are dealt with (aka nightmare dimension until their souls fade), Danny and his family go to take a tour over their new city

Only to discover a nursery room with a one year old and a baby in a crib. Two babies with black hair and green eyes. Danny feels awful thinking that he could had hurt two innocent souls and fell immediately in love with the chubby babies so Tucker, Sam and him decided to adopt them since there wasn't a single soul left in the city besides those two. Ofc the other kids and the city is thrilled with the additions and there is a huge celebration

Bc nobody loves more life than dead

The sovereignty over the mountain range that are the Himalayas is never disputed again since now all belongs to Danny ( I mean, I think is very fitting since the word Himalaya comes from Sanskrit himá 'snow, frost', and ā-laya 'dwelling, abode' and Danny and his family most have ice cores, sorry Tucker, I know cold is not good for electronic cores like yours :/ ) He signs non-aggressive accords with Nepal, China, Pakistan, Bhutan and India to make sure nobody bothers them.

And he also starts and uneasy truce with the JL to make sure the supers don't try anything dumb again (the poor YJL is going to spend the rest of their punishment cleaning snow from everywhere. Tucker will burn the corpses since they don't deserve a proper burial and Sam will use whatever is left to feed her plants. They will not tell the kids or let them see, they are kids! Practically babies, they could get traumatized)

Now they all have a place that they can truly call home and wizards from all over the world go there to learn (well, few wizards, the craziest ones like Constantine) even if it's supposed to be a place of healing and enlightenment their definition of enlightenment is almost as skew as their ghostly sense of humor. Also, Danny and his people protect the commercial routes now between the five countries (and get paid for it).

Back to the babies

Since Danny is not one to read papers he has no idea who might be their parents and the babies are not helping (I mean, the poor things can't even talk yet). Black hair and green eyes with Egyptian ethnicity is too vague of a description and they could do some blood test but.... who has time for those? They all assume their parents were members of the LOA and they don't need any more motivation than that. Later Tucker reads the papers and confirms this (although he doesn't reveal that the birth father of one of the babies might be alive and burns everything along with any digital copy he can find. He also burns anything that has the name Wayne in it, including some hot emails between said Wayne and a member of the LOA. 6. When was the exact moment you knew you were in love with them?

Sturm: Look, I'm not gonna lie, I initially went there only for that dumptruck of an ass he's been blessed with. BUt then friend of mine made a joke about me not being able to have a quiet conversation over dinner in a restaurant with old "three-chainsaw-dodge-charger-engine-man" (quote on quote) and it all went downhill from there.

Sturm: How touch-starved he actually is. How he doesn't know how to ask for affection without betraying the immense sadness and the desperate need for a comforting touch to mend his wounded soul. His hope to trust someone without having to fear the pain that now he associates as a consequence to being vulnerable. This aching burning hunger for love that grows bigger everyday, a suffering so deep it twists guts and cracks bones...

The Merchant: He's an absolute movie buff, especially when it comes to horror movies! Love the times when he shows up with a new title to watch and analyze it together without sparing witty remarks, sharp observations and ofc questionable jokes uwu

Sturm: He hugs me and won't let go until he feels all of my tension has flushed away for good. He also lets me take care of him and I honestly can't think of anything better than this display of vulnerability and trust to make me believe he truly does love me indeed <3c

The Merchant: He always knows when's the best time to make me take a break from work. I don't know how he does it, but just right before I get this 👌 close to kill someone from stress overdose, he manifests by my side with a cup of freshly made coffee (don't ask him where he gets that fine grind or how he's able to make me drink decaf without me noticing, he won't tell) and forces me to get away from whatever I'm working on until he feels I'm ready to start again. He still won't leave until he's absolutely sure I can take it and even then he'll be cheering for me until it's over uwu

First of all, shigaraki and Dabi somehow started to connect with each other after their confrontation with the Liberation army. Dabi starting to see more clearly Shigs' point of view and viceversa, but they still had to deal with the spy that was now between their allies and friends

Shigaraki doesn't trust Hawks a single bit, neither does Dabi ofc, and they both know that said hero would do whatever to fit right in and gain some info. So, why not abuse a little of that?

They start to ask Hawks for favors, like bringing stuff for them from another room and shit, Hawks just smiles and just walks for them with a, "sure buddy." they just laugh and continue being shits.

It's goes on and on, and Hawks knows that they are just doing that for the shit and giggles, and he can't do a single thing. And Boi, does he want to put those orders on their asses.

So, basically while Dabi and Shigs laugh at whatever they ask him to do, Hawks is just smile and continue imagining murder.

Then, Shigs asks Hawks to cook something, Hawks doesn't even think twice. By now, he prefers the rest of the League than these two assholes, so he somehow manages to cobvince the rest of them to eat at other place.

Hawks doesn't hesitate and prepares the meals with pure enthusiasm and some laxants :).

Needless to say, Shigs and Dabi are indeed surprised by the entire food and how homelike it felt for both villains. Hawks eats with them and start chatting with them, about how they still distrust him and he just have the same goals as them about destroying the hero society as they eat. They somehow feel... Guilty?

The meal woke a feeling for both villains, the familiarity that both of them almost forgot, not by the eating daily with the rest of the League, but the home made meal that Hawks did, instead of daily crappy meals or instant food.

Things go smooth, the awkward talk somehow turns into a passionate te all about anything but work related. As if they were friends that just met at College. Even washing the dishes became somehow fun? And somehow get dragged to clean?!?

After some more minutes from finishing their meals and helping with the cleaning, they run to whatever bathroom was available and stay there for the next 3 hours.

The entire league somehow knew that Hawks was up to something like that, but couldn't blame him.

The only thing that Shigaraki and Dabi had of trust for the winged hero went to the drains.

Starting a new type of revenge war between the 3 of thfem, and later dragging alongside them the rest of the League.

I read MID ch7 instantly when you posted it and had to take a couple of days to just to comprehend... uhm, some... feelings. So forgive me, since I've bottled this up and will result in a long message ... but the work is just so good I can't resist showering you with praise.

You live in my mind rent free.

I can't describe how cute and domestic everything was in the early parts then hOt, then just ditty dotty destroyed me in the later scenes.

The smut was... *clears throat, wipes forehead daintily*... it made me feel stuff that I should otherwise be used to in esp in this site, but when mid Tae told YN to behave I think it took my brain minutes to comprehend that I'm just reading a wonderfully crafted piece. And that no, I should not feel my knees to weaken and toes curl, but they did anyway. Gotta say, the mind is a powerful thing.

But as it turns out, SAMMY IS SO MUCH POWERFUL.

The whole trip with Jimin really solidified what was coming in the end of this chaoter, it tastefully and comprehensively vocalised the conversation about this whole feelings ordeal first with YN, and paved way for that earth shattering ending. I can't help but remember thay quote from The Perks of Being a Wallflower when I was reading: "we accept the love we think we deserve."

Damn, really. While it hurts to see and more on resonate with how hard it is to accept love from others after certain unfortunate relationships (yn), I really commend you on choosing to write this realistically. I think her mindset towards this type of stuff, while not really the best, is well-built enough to show how hard and conflicting it is to see yourself have worth for love. And it isn't easy to change in a matter of moments, but it is worth changing this perception just as it is worth seeing and admitting when you love someone.

For me, it's also worth seeing that sometimes the love others give us are dependent on how much they treasure us, and that's theirs alone. It's not something that we get to decide no matter how much we think we shouldn't hsve it, but something that, at least here, is something they spend just as much thought and effort to ensure and choose.

Tae felt it in every chapter, intensely too, with his friends as witnesses. Of course deceit can always happen, but sincerity too. You can't punish yourselves for the deciet that others do. it's their lie, faulting the victim (hate u kiseok) won't do anything, and carefulness doesn't always mean you're always right about others' intentions. I cried so much for both of them, but I guess that we can't always understand love from each's point of view as clearly as they can; we just have to learn to accept it. And trust that maybe, or surely, that they do love us, and us them.

Your talent and hardwork speaks so genuinely to my mind when I read your work; I can't say enough to thank you for letting the world see this.

In a sense, they’re both rejecting each other on the premise either of them is not deserving of the other’s love. “We accept the love we think we deserve”, such a beautiful quote that can explain two broken people trying to find a way to love each other 🥺

You’re correct again, the human mind is a wonderfully intricate system, and oddly takes a few seconds to destroy yet years to rebuild. Y/N’s mindset comes from not only years under the emotional (and sometimes physical we’ve seen) abuse she’s endured from her mother which can largely impact any child, but also from someone she was in love with for a long time only have that love taken advantage of and abused as well. It’s crippling to anyone’s mentality and skews the idea of love for them almost eternally. 

Taehyung is different because he’s never been in love before, it’s new and shiny and bright and so he fell hard and fast, he has no qualms about admitting he’s in love either because he doesn’t know the painful experience of falling in love and desires to finally be in love (only until this argument ofc) while Y/N denies it because she knows love is painful and doesn’t want to go through it again. 

Though you’re correct yet again, it will present itself in future chapters but ultimately, love as pure as theirs is unconditional and cannot be changed nor forgotten. It won’t matter what the other thinks, because the other will love them unconditionally, or love them until they believe them, because love is ours to give and cannot be defined nor appraised by any price. But alas, we can never truly know how someone else feels about us, so another great point, love is scary because we must trust in the depths of our hearts somebody loves us the same, and we must see how these two decide to trust each other on that.
