again, the only thing apollo did in the end (once he was god again) that could be described as 'godly' was be in several places at once, fly his chariot, and get meg her unicorn

but apollo shooting fucking fire out of his hands is crazy asf, it was so cool. he really got amazing godly powers this book.

rick being bold enough to showcase abusive parenting knowing that a huge porcentage of his readers are minors, helping many realize that they could be in abusive households, and giving them a tool to reach out for help

apollo defeating nero was so satisfactory, because you realize in the end, that nero wasn't really a monster, he was monstrous, but still very much human (if only with some godly power), and pretty useless once he couldn't hide behind props and weapons, his being wasn't powerful, he was just under layers of protection

the jackson/blofis scene was so warm and loving, they really are willing to put their family in danger, baby estelle in danger, to help 'percy's friends' even tho she knew percy didn't like apollo, but she still takes in everyone who needs help, and paul being a loving and accepting husband

sally working on her SECOND novel, she really is having her best life

none of the big heroes from other series having protagonism, besides nico and will, instead giving the other kids from camp halfblood their chance to show they're just as worthy as the "heroes of olympus"

(still I would have loved to see a scene with everyone else, like the heroes of olympus guys, fighting together one last time, just for nostalgia's sake - I legit hoped to see percy and annabeth arriving with chiron in triumvirate tower, but yeah)

the arrow of dodona may have been a dumb, cringey, and slightly ridiculous thing at first, and I personally rolled my eyes everytime it said anything, but it knew what would happen from the start, and without its sacrifice, apollo would have achieved nothing. we stan one arrow

nico wearing a white cowboy hat. idky but it makes my heart swell with joy. he a gay cowboy

y'all know I love Apollo's arch, and I just gotta point this out. his trials, his time as lester, started with him falling to earth, and ended with him getting up after purposely throwing himself off the earth, towards tartarus, almost falling to chaos. that's really clever writing.

the olympians watching over him, and some actually being concerned for him rather than his progress.

poseidon not really giving a fuck about the world or council meetings anymore because percy's not there anymore

athena being the only one apart from artemis who trusted apollo could do it makes me warm fsr

lester deciding that the best way to retell his adventures is by singing is hilarious to me, he really thinks it'll solve everything

Grover not telling percy and annabeth jason died seems so funny to me, he really said "nah it doesn't matter much, field trip, yes"

"hey man" my heart broke in twenty million pieces. like I don't know where I expected to see jason. but that wasn't it. and it hurt me as much as it hurt apollo man.

(also I kinda hoped we would see nico summon his spirit or smth, but I'm actually happy nico realized that jason went by his own choice, and he was in peace, so he decided not to summon him, because it was alright. that hurt too)

kinda love how lester passes out after literally every battle. it reminds you that even tho he's apollo, his body isn't. I'm sure we all would pass out too if we did a quarter of what lester did in the span of 4 days. his body isn't made to endure that, it doesn't even have a halfblood endurance, it's a weak mortal body

the trogs were fucking hilarious. their screeches and grrs, idk there's something ridiculous and so childish about them, it's so fun

really happy that apollo never had a /real/ love interest (reyna doesn't count), cause that wasn't what his story was about. instead he got to make so many friends, and have quality time with them and his children, it's amazing

apollo being thankful people were telling him he'd grown, and was more human, because he realized that was the best thing he could have learned from his time as a mortal

also him saying fuck you man to zeus and his speech, like "no asshole dad, I did learn, I'm not going to see this as punishment, it was a great time in which bad things happened but I enjoyed it." yes, we love apollo not letting zeus win

getting to see what everyone will do now. nico and will figuring out rachel's prophecy, probs saving bob. rachel living her best life away from her parents. leo doing what leo does, always helping those who have no one else. the hunters' open storyline about this fox, possibly hinting at content? piper settling down in a quiet life is what she deserves tbh, she's earned quiet life with a cute gf, wish her the best. Frank and hazel being the best praetors, and I bet they will continue to be so. And annabeth and percy, who chose their happiness over all, at last

kinda wish we got to see someone still really miss jason after apollo becomes god again tho lmao like apollo missed jason more than the others, nico and piper being the exception. I mean, leo is fine and dandy, hazel and frank are okay, percy and annabeth are done mourning... I just we got to see any of them really mourning, rather than reading they mourned. it would have made it feel more emotional

the last conversation and the last words in general. "the sun always comes back" and "we're friends now. call on me. I'll be there for you" that shit got me sobbing my heart out. rick really managed to do right by the books and end it like he should have, unlike BOO. he took what made TLO good and used a similar formula. it's very different from "and for once I didn't look back", but it still fills you with warmth and the feeling that even though it's over, it's okay.

So What Has Chlo Chlo Been Doin On The Down Low?

Aka: the overly-long detailed list of reasons Chloe/Bepsiqueen has not been your local shitposter as much as she probably should be doing because she’s bad at time management as well as other reasons and to be honest this is a really fucking long list not gunna lie hope you like reading school essays because it reads like one haha.

There’s actually a few answers to this, most of them lame but I still feel like you’d appreciate some solid no-bullshit answers from me. 

1. College Shit. - So as I’ve told you guys, I’m in college and doing all that fun class stuff. However, as of recent I’m actually NOT in college, even though I should be. That’s due to one thing. FASFA. This stubborn bastard has been a thorn in my side for far too long and it just worse and worse with all these dumb complications like having to verify and my parents not being married one year and then the next. Until that FASFA gets taken care of I cannot pay off my old loans to register for this year, and so far I’ve missed 3 days now going on more until not only the confirmation letter or whatever-the-fuck it’s called comes in and that’ll take about 5-10 bidness days as well as if that’ll even be enough to pay off over 6,000 dollars in student debt.  So as a result I may have to drop out for the semester and pick up a job at my local Kwik Trip (aka gas station b/c not everywhere has a kiwk trip and I forget that) to not only pay off the possible remainder of the bill but to also increase my ever dwindling fat stacks of cash. Because I am slowly becoming one broke ass bitch and that sucks a lot.  This is the biggest reason I have not been on, as it’s both stressful on my emotional health and takes up a lot of my time when I don’t get to sleep or relax and try my best to de-stress from life fucking my ass.

2. Upcoming Possible Job. - Mostly connects to the first reason, but if I can’t make it back into college I’ve decided I’ll be hitting up a job at the gas station, so that will not only cut the time I spend online in general, but I have to fix my disgusting sleep schedule (as I had been sleeping off that deadly flu and whatnot instead of getting medical attention like a normal person not in debt would do) and OH BOY. Also we’re experiencing financial problems in the family at the moment, as my younger brother lost his job and didn’t even have it for a month, and OOOOOOOHHHH BOY.

3. Stressed + Depressed. The fun family-friendly combo for your soul. - College is stressful, FASFA is stressful, money problems are stressful, drama is stressful and my life is filled with all of those things as of late. Because fuck me amirite? So I’m very depressed a lot and annoyed and stressed and tired and I just want to sit around and do nothing all day because I can’t bring myself to do anything really these days unless I’m forced to by my parents or I REALLY put myself out there to talk. I’m just, in a rut I guess. Haven’t been able to draw or write or anything really. Trying to break that funk tho, rest assured for ya. It’s just annoyingly difficult because life likes to ruin me at every possible turn.

4. Other Blogs - This one is one of the many issues I have with organization, mostly because I’ve been spending a lot of time in the DBZ fandom on my very oddly specific crossover with Sonic the Hedgehog blog gone wrong gone fucking horrific. 5. Groupie Verse for the Dank Soul. - A lot of the stuff on this list is very depressing, I know because it doesn’t help my mood in the slightest looking at the list of shit I have to do and it sucks lmao, but this one will be a very pleasant surprise to everyone!  Yuppers! AND YOU GET TO PLAY AS A PROTAG THAT SEES SOUNDS WITH COLORS. HOW BITCHING IS THAT??? SUPER COOL IF YOU ASK ME T B H. DEFInITELY GUNNA WANNA RP AS ICHIJOU IN THE FUTURE ONCE I GET A TRUE GRASP OF HIS CHARACTER). SO IF YOU’RE MORBIDLY CURIOUS ABOUT HEARING WHAT I HAVE POSSIBLY IN STORE FOR THE BEST DR + ZE RIP-OFF OF 2017 THAN HIT ME UP ANY DIDDLY DAMN DAY OF THE WEEK AND I WILL SUPPLY.

Just Laziness Really. - When I’m not motivated by anything from the struggles and bullshit I deal with as of late I’m gunna admit I feel really fucking lazy and want nothing more than to write some gross shipping garbage with my lit fam and watch Youtube vids all day because I have bad time management and I don’t know how to handle my feelings well in the slightest. : { I also sometimes play League of Legends! Altho nore really anymore because I have like no time for it recently! So yeah! In which case, you can hit me up on my Discord! Although I may not always respond quickly, because life hates me. firstable i am so so so in love with his dedication to the group. there has never been a moment where shownu has not mentioned monsta x on broadcast whenever he has solo appearances on variety ?? a rly recent example is master key, where he was asked to choose a number nd he went with 7 bc there were 7 members in mx and its smth so subtle nd small but also it speaks Volumes about how much monsta x means to him!!! like he rly could’ve picked Any number but went w the one that has a strong tie to his group nd that really melted my heart like ?? hes really thinking abt monsta x nonstop ? mbb but like,,, the leader ? its really like !! i’ve never rly seen anyone mention their group as much as he does !!!

moving a lil further into his relationships w the members, u can tell he has a deep connection to every member ? ofc, we dont know what goes on off camera, but on camera (esp if he’s not the current focus nd he’s in the bg) u can see how he interacts with everyone !! hes very caring towards them nd obviously treasures them so so much, nd i get very familial vibes ? its like all of mx are his brothers nd he is someone who grew up as an only child so i feel like its ,,, incredible he has this rly close, sibling-like bond w mx ... like,,, showheon play fighting ? thats smth u usually see a lot w siblings .. i jus rly lov how he has such a deep connection w all the members, nd its smth thats been in the making for probably longer than just two years ? honestly gkjhds i lov watching fancams when theyre at fansigns bc shownu is rly ? interesting to watch ! he teases the members a lot ,,,

nD LET ME TALK ABT HIS PASSION FOR DANCE OKAY OH BOY shownu is the embodiment of a good dancer to me like ??? he moves so fluidly, hes so in control of what hes doing but its so natural ??? nd if u wanna see his improvement i really recommend watching hit the stage bc his growth (esp w his expressions, its smth he struggled w) is incredible !!!!!! he goes from a good dancer to an even better one, nd watching it happen across the span of like 3-4 videos is just ??? wow ???? how u improve that fast ??? lmk ??????

also !!!! his vocals !!!!!!! my god !!!!!!!!!!!! honestly before i got into monsta x, i had some of their songs in my itunes nd i really already fell in love with his voice before i knew the group. its so soothing and soft and he has such an amazing range ??? he can hit low notes nd high notes nd notes in between nd his versatility really astounds me ,,,,, the best examples for this are definitely their title songs (shine forever nd all in nd a bonus to newton !!!!) as well as because of you and gravity (both of which i listen to like,,, Religiously .), nd i reaaaaaally recommend u listen to this video so u can get to hear his range nd gkahsdkj wow his voice is really beautiful :-( of all the voices i listen to, his is really my favorite. i rly hope starship lets him sing an ost one day ,,, i’d Nut

nd LAST POINT i wanna talk abt is his own growth in self confidence ??? honestly as someone who struggles w self love, watching shownu develop w his own self confidence is so so so inspiring !!!! i talk abt this a lot but in debut, he really was silent nd like ,,,, i hate 2 say this but ~robotic~ nd i think it has a lot to do with him not being confident ??? especially with variety, it was really always painfully awkward if he was given screen time but he has improved so steadily over the past two years. hes really like,, the variety king now . nd he’s mentioned a few times he wants to feel more confident doing solo vlives nd u can tell hes become more comfortable w it !!! im really really proud of shownu for always stepping out of his comfort zone nd doing what he doesnt normally do bc he always comes out of it as a more confident person nd its just !!! wow !!!! its really something i admire nd love him for :-(

oof the pd48 scandal is extremely complicated. to condense it in a few statements: all of the girls' rankings have been rigged since the very beginning and it was rumored that they already had their end group before the show even started. it was like this for pf48 and pdx101 (group x1) which was why x1 disbanded within a month of debuting, and izone were on hiatus for like 4 months. im not the best at explaining stuff like this haha, but i think you get it. you can check out yt or search up 'pd48 scandal', a ton of articles and videos. as for new groups, nothing has been made clear yet. theyve only made instagram handles for now and appeared on variety shows haha. as for acting career, hyewon was supposed to do acting but was forced to join pd48 so maybe she'll continue acting afterwards? nothing is confirmed yet!

       uhhh probs the fact that he is straight up terrifying ?? like ik tpose looks cute as a button to all of us but consider this: rafe has about 4 noticeable scars on his face alone, menacing looking tattoos peeking out from his collar/sleeves/etc., and a resting bitch face that’s more of a resting murderer face. so.

what would devastate your character the most ?

       honestly... taking him away from the IOA, probs. he really doesn’t have a lot left to give, a lot left to lose, and the IOA is about it. they scouted him out in the lowest part of his life, and now he has SOMETHING ( a purpose, a friend or two, a roof over his head ), so pulling that rug out from underneath him would probably just take any speck of remaining life out of his eyes. after the life he’s had, there isn’t rly much that could devastate him anymore -- but frankly, idk if he would survive losing the academy. he just wouldn’t really have anything left to live for.

what does their morning routine look like ?

       he’s probably maintained the same routine since his fighting days, tbh. which means: a nice, rousing wakeup call at 6 am sharp ( even if he only went to bed a few hours earlier ), a round of training in the gym to calm the nerves leftover from his nightmares, squared off with a scalding shower, a cup of coffee, and probably a protein bar bc who doesn’t love cardboard for breakfast ??

       mmm i can see him liking a weird mix of reggaetón and r&b, so idk if i’d say these are his FAVORITE songs bc i’m bad at favorites, but as for some top-played songs i’d go with corazón by maluma ( bc it’s an incredible song, fuckin try me ), wicked games by the weeknd ( bc iconic and great for sex ), and maybe el amante by nicky jam or ave maría by lafame & sebastian yatra ( bc i said so ). ik that was 4, sorry bout it.

describe your character’s reaction to nikolai / odessa’s deaths.

        odessa kinda surprised him, but his world wasn’t too rocked by it -- he didn’t know her, after all, so it was one of those things that just didn’t really seem real. like it happened in a movie or smth, and he could just ignore it. nikolai, tho, that one made him stop in his tracks. sure, they were rivals, and there were definitely some spats bc rafe has a TEMPER -- but at the end of the day, there was a kind of respect. after all, they’d both been recruited for criminal activity, and rafe could always appreciate a man who was willing to get his hands a little dirty. he felt kind of numb when he heard the news, and now he takes his anger out in the IEE kids ‘cause he’s hella suspicious of ‘em all.

do they enjoy being an agent ? why or why not ?

        he lowkey loves it. he won’t ever fully express that bc *dumb boy vc* it’s not cool to like things. but anyway, yeah. he likes it. it’s nice to have a purpose that isn’t driven by fear or survival instinct, and being able to interact and do things like a relatively normal human person is a huge plus.

what does your character believe in ? what motivates them ?

        i struggled with this a bit, bc like... this is gonna sound weird, but i feel like rafe keeps moving forward half out of surprise that he’s still alive ? like, he definitely should’ve died about a million times over by now, but somehow he’s still truckin’, and that’s a damn miracle in itself. i guess i would say that he’s motivated by the fact that even within his black, dead soul, he believes that there’s the possibility of something better out there for him. for everyone.

        ok i’m fucking laughing but imagine him giving something like this to hyalus as i write this out -- LOVE would be hyalus, cigarettes, and his bed; HATE would be everything else. he would probs make hyalus burn it after reading it. what a goddamn nightmare.
