not to keep talking about jayvik but I think if Jayce had seen him running on that pier it literally would have been a speed-run to glorious evolution for Viktor. he's always gonna break the promise to destroy the hexcore but if Jayce saw Viktor running? he would have made him race back to the lab. he'd be skipping all the way back home. he would never stop smiling. he would have Viktor testing out obstacle courses and shit. they'd be jumping on a trampoline. that man would be so excited he'd just be fueling Viktor's urges to keep going and see if it could cure his terminal illness.

This line is one of my Absolute Favorites from this show, because it really digs right into the new world that the kids are in:

She bluntly tells him to go home. As an adult talking to another adult.

She has her own property. Her own life. Her own world. She has authority now. The days where they're kids hiding from robots or businessmen or sneaking away from big game hunters and mercenaries are over. Sammy has land, she has responsibilities, and she's not backing down from them. Sammy Gutierrez is an adult woman, and she's going to act like one.

all i can think about rn is the idea of spike and reader in a modern au where you’re playing BG3 and obsessed with astarion and spike is all pissy and jealous watching you fawn over this platinum blonde vampire with an english accent and he’s like “i don’t even know what you see in him…” and you’re just like … babe are u fr?????? while he’s all huffy and pouty and pretending he’s not intently watching you play despite constantly chiming in to whine and criticise astarion !!!!!!!!

The way I feel about Glinda and Elphaba is actually very similar to how I feel about the biblical story of David and Jonathan because I do think it’s really valuable to show intimate, meaningful platonic relationships between the same gender and it’s important that we recognize how these friendships often become our most important in lieu of decent familial ones, it’s representation we need more of
