No matter how Cream Puff Cookie tries very hard to be a real wizard but sometimes she made mistakes in her old times as a newbie at Parfaedia Institute; this time she can do it while growing up. Of course, she will remembered that how Almond Cookie, Latte Cookie and Walnut Cookie be there for her. 💕

There something so poignant about the way Nancy responds to Carson having another child. She could easily feel left out, abandoned replaced by an actual biological child (which she even jokes about but we know it's not how she really feels), but then she replies with "It's always possible to make more room."

And this is another proof that this show does found family, like no other I've seen. Because making more room is what they've always done. Bess needed a place to stay? They opened their home to her. Then they accepted Ryan into their little family unit with very little hesitation. When George needed a law mentor, Carson was there. Because that's what family does. They show up for each other, and make room, no matter how weird or awkward it is. And the thing is, this is something Nancy absolutely got from Carson and Kate. They instilled it inside of her so deep, that even when she was firmly against needing friends, buried under six foot of grief, she still brought Bess home.

And now her saying this to Carson is such a full circle moment. He taught his daughter that family can come in different shapes and forms, that you can always make room, and she echoes those words in the most important moment--when he needs to hear it the most.

context and headcannons:

Bi-Han I think cared for his brother a lot as kids, him and Kuai liang would stay up into late hours to stay with him when he got night terrors. Those were the only two who Tomas connected with for awhile, afraid of their father and unwilling to accept either parent for awhile. Bi-Han was a very protective sibling for a long time until the pressure of being the next grandmaster drowned out his free will and filed his growing resentment of his father.

A part of Bi-han is still so very protective of his brothers, but it’s buried under so much resentment and anger.

Mikey and Leo episode centered around Mikey wanting to push Leo and Draxum together since Leo’s the most reluctant to give Draxum any grace (for good reason!) But, thinking on the spot, Leo says he’s gotta go do something for Hueso and “just can’t hang out right now 😔” (yes, he says the emoji out loud.)

Mikey calls his bluff and now the three of them (Mikey having grabbed a weary Draxum along) go to Hueso’s to find that yes, he actually does have a job for him. Said job asks for Leo to go with Hueso to deliver multiple pizzas to this giant yokai quite a distance away, and Hueso figured it would probably go better with Leo’s help (emphasis on probably.)

Well, Mikey decides that this would be a great bonding opportunity for them and basically invites he and Draxum along. Unfortunately for Leo, Hueso doesn’t care enough to wave away more help, though he does side-eye the wanted criminal Baron Draxum coming with them. But who is he to judge? (This choice has consequences.)

The journey goes about as terribly as you’d expect, but at least the pizzas get delivered on time.
