#I love remembering how proud he is to play spidey

We heard your fave hcs for garycato and spiderpool, but what are your fave hcs for found families you like, like Gary Avocato and Little Cato or Spider Man Deadpool and their daughter? (Sorry i don't remember her name)
I have so many but here's the main ones:
Spideypool
Ellie obviously being a big fan of Spidey and its a lil awkward on Peter (before she finds out his identity)
Peter is the 'responsible' parent most times until he's not - Ellie will struggle with science homework and he'll be like "I have these chemicals in my lab that explode when making contact with oxygen- maybe that will help, wanna see?"
Wade is that proud father that will spoil his daughter (and partner)
Peter is the photographer and loves taking pictures of Wade and Ellie together, knowing Wade doesn't have many (and doesn't like his own image) - what he doesn't know is Wade also saves many pics of Ellie and Peter)
Wade will try not to use bad language near Ellie or talk about things that aren't PG
Peter has no concept of what's PG and will explain in full detail on what birthing a child is like and how painful it is because Ellie was unfortunate enough to ask him
Ellie starts to pick up Peterâs habits and Wade finds it adorable (until she uses Peterâs sass against him)
Ellie will sometimes jump from slightly high places (trees and benches) without warning and Peter is always there to catch her
Peter tutoring Ellie (Wade finding it incredibly hot)
Wade playing house with Ellie (sometimes Ellie decides Peter is her wife and Wade gets jealous "how come I'm not your wife?! </3" "you're the dog now dad")
Peter will sometimes come back from work to find Ellie and Wade having a tea party (will also join in and begin to complain and gossip with them)
Wade buys clothes for them a lot and often will be like "whaaat??? No way- can't believe I accidentally got 3 shirts that look exactly the same and are out perfect sizes! Isn't that crazy??!" Just so they can have couple outfits
Peter had gone to work with messy makeover (either he forgot about it or he didn't want to upset Ellie by taking it off)
Wade sometimes will waste money on advert billboards "see this guy/girl??? That's my boo" or something (both Ellie and Peter get embarrassed)
Wade is the type of guy to lie in restaurants about their birthday to get free cake, Ellie loves playing along (and since Peter hates it he's always the victim getting a surprise cake)
Garycato
Ventraxians get jealous easily but Little Cato and Avocato are next level- they fight over Gary's attention (Gary still doesn't realise this)
Avocato is happy Gary and Little Cato are bonding until he sees Little Cato's smug face-
Little Cato isn't used to Avocato being physically affectionate so he will purposely be like "what are you doing, creep" before running to Gary like "I've missed you!!" (They have been apart less than 5 mins)
Gary will go into old habits and maybe steal in front of Little Cato- then he'll be like "Stealing is bad!" When Little Cato does it
Silent contests of who gets more compliments from Gary being held without the humans knowledge
Gary loves texture of fur so cuddling is awesome with his new kit and hubby
When Gary gets tired of touch and company, he'll try to be alone but Little Cato doesn't quite grasp the concept yet and just seats near him (like in that episode where Gary says "just want to be alone" and little Cato is just "ok" and stays with him anyway)
Little Cato acting like both Gary and Avo- picking some of their habits
Sometimes Avo will walk in on Gary crying because Little Cato has lil beans
Sometimes Gary will walk in on Avo crying because Little Cato fell asleep holding his hand like he used to when a baby
Little Cato still clueless on his parents smexy timez
Gary doesn't make it obvious but he sometimes gets overwhelmed by the fact he finally has a family and people who love him (Avocato knows and just silently comforts him)
Gary will fight over toys with Little Cato and other petty things ("that's my mug! >:0" )
Gary is a good baker, Avocato a good cook

In Case You Donât Live Forever
~chapter three rewritten~
Pairing: Peter Parker x Venom!Reader
Synopsis: you are Peterâs greatest love and Spidermanâs greatest enemy
Series Masterlist
Peter arrived at the Avengers tower with a little pep in his step. His new neighbor was on his mind and he couldnât get her off. He knew it was a long shot, after all youâd only had one conversation, but he felt like there was a connection between you. You were awkward, he was awkward. What more does a relationship need?
Tony was quick to notice the change in Peters mood. A dreamy smile crept across his face every now and then while Tony was trying to explain something about his nanotechnology.
âAlright Underoos, whats on your mind? A girl? Boy? That gorgeous Aunt of yours? Oh wait no, thatâs whatâs on my mind.â Tony smirked, making a blush paint Peters cheeks.
âNothing sir. Sorry, Iâll pay attention.â Peter answered quickly. Tony scanned Peter up and down skeptically.
âSo its a girl. Alright. Who is she?â Tony asked, motioning for Peter to sit down with him.
âThis girl moved in across the hall from me about a week ago. Iâd see her on the stairs sometimes, or in the lobby. Sheâs beautiful, Mr. Stark. I mean, really beautiful. And I know girls are a lot more than their appearance, trust me, but I can never look away. Itâs like God made a perfect batch of cookie dough, and then made a perfect cookie cutter, and then hand made her just for me. Thereâs just, thereâs something about her. I feel like Iâve always known her, and I donât even know her yet. She knocked on my door this morning and I nearly had a heart attack when I saw her through the peephole. I played dumb and acted like I didnât know she lived across the hall.â Peter started to explain. A twinge of embarrassment struck him at the memory of what he said to you.
âOh God. You said something stupid, didnât you?â Tony inquired, noticing the look of embarrassment on Peters face as he recalled their conversation. Tony leaned on his hands like a child, this stuff exciting him more than anything.
âI insulted her dead father and called him smelly.â Peter admitted, and Tony laughed.
âBut she found it funny and agreed with me.â Peter quickly followed up.
âWow. Normally Iâd say thereâs no coming back from that, but she seems like a keeper. So, are you gonna throw on your Spidey suit and take her for a ride around the city? Works with all the ladies.â Tony wiggled eyebrows, but Peter shook his head.
âNo. Spider-Man isnât a party trick or some tactic to pick up girls. Plus, I want her to like me for me. Thatâs why I invited her over for dinner tonight.â Peter answered. Tony looked down at his hands, not wanting Peter to see how proud he was. He couldnât let Peter get too cocky.
âThat was a test and you passed.â To y quipped. âAlright, spider child, you have my blessing. But no funny business tonight. If I find out Iâm gonna have to design nanotech baby clothes, Iâm gonna be pissed.â
Peter blushed at the mere thought of what Tony was implying and spent the rest of his time at the tower going over missions to get you off his mind.
You arrived at Peters at 6:07. You were done getting ready at 5:45, and sat in the living room on your phone until you were slightly late. You didnât want to be early, like some loser. Or even worse, on time. You had to be fashionably, but not rudely, late.
You knocked on Peters door at 6:07 and waited. The door swung open instantly, as if heâd be waiting right behind.
âI know what youâre thinking.â He stated. âIâll let you decide if I was waiting at the door for you or if Iâm just really fast. â
He had successfully broken the ice, and you gave kudos to him for trying.
You, on the other hand, were drawing a blank. You had no idea what to say and you were a reporter for crying out loud. You didnât get tripped up on my words, but something about Peter Parker and that damn collared shirt rendered you unable to formulate a thought. All you could do was stand there and smile at him. You felt like you were standing weirdly and all the sudden had no idea where to put your hands. Do you leave them at your sides? That felt too stiff and soldier-like. But where else would they go? You were pretty sure every brain cell had left your body at that point, leaving you defenseless.
âYou look nice.â Peter blurted, interrupting the awkward silence that had settled between you. Even he seemed surprised by his statement. You looked down and shrugged. You looked as nice as a lazy person who didnât fully unpack their clothes could look. You had on a casual grey dress that was made of some sort of t-shirt material, and your hair was in a loose bun with a few curls framing your face. Peter took in your appearance with what looked like approval. Then you noticed Peters gaze falling to your feet.
âConverse with a dress.â He noted. âBold move.â
You felt your personality re-enter your body, finally, and nodded.
âOh yeah. You know me. Quirky and cool and not like other girls.â You joked as you clicked your heels together. âYou look nice too. VeryâŠFreddie Benson.â
Freddie Benson? Who the hell makes an ICarly reference to compliment someone? This night was going downhill fast and you regretted ever knocking on his door.
âDude. Youâre tanking.â Venom said in your ear, you had to agree. This couldnât be going worse.
But lo and behold, Peters beautiful laugh filled your ears once again.
âThatâs what I was going for!â He cheered. âMy friend Ned always teases me for wearing sweaters and button downs but he just doesnât have the vision.â
âCome in.â He suddenly stepped aside and gestured inward. âDinners almost ready.â
Peters apartment looked just like yours, but much more homey. You saw his baby pictures on the wall, coupled with pictures of him and his parents through the years. You noticed a framed picture of a different couple on the coffee table. They resembled Peter but you didnât see them in any photos with him past the age of around 7. There was a candle next to the frame, as well as a ceramic cross. You quickly looked away, not wanting to overstep.
âYou must be Y/N. Itâs very nice to meet you.â You heard a womanâs voice from behind you. You turned around and saw a woman in high pants and a yellow tank top, recognized her from the pictures with Peter.
âI am. Itâs very nice to meet you too, Mrs. Parker.â You said politely and shook her hand.
âPlease.â She shook your hand. âCall me May.â
âMay.â You repeated with a smile.
You turned around and saw Peter pulling out a chair for you, so you sat down while May finished preparing dinner. You offered to help, being the polite ass bitch that you were, but May insisted that you were the guest. A plate of âmeatloafâ was soon placed in front of you and Peter. The term âmeatloafâ is used very loosely. It looked more like an old shriveled brain. Peter made eye contact with you and winked.
âItâs not as bad as it looks.â He whispered. He glanced at May, who was busy pouring the drinks, before leaning in closer and whispering, âitâs way worse.â
You playfully kicked Peter under the table and he giggled, quickly masking the sound with a drink of water.
âSo, Y/N, where do you go to school?â May started the conversation. You took a bite of meatloaf, nearly died, and swallowed before answering.
âIâm actually taking a gap year before I start my junior year at Berkeley.â You told her. âAnd I work part time as a reporter.â
âThatâs a very good school.â She complimented. âAnd I thought you looked familiar. Iâve seen your show on YouTube.â
âI havenât.â Peter realized. âWhatâs it called?â
âThe L/n Report.â You answered. âI started it my freshman year and it just kinda took off.â
âOh. Iâve read some of yoru articles, but I havenât seen the show.â Peter realized. âI canât believe you do that. Thatâs really cool. Youâre really cool.â
âThank you.â You winked at him, not used to being praised for your work.
âPeter told me about your father.â May changed the subject. âIâm so sorry to hear that he passed. He left the apartment to you?â
âHe did.â You nodded. âAnd itâs all right. We were estranged anyway.â
âIt must be so different living alone in a city.â May sighed. âDid you dorm while at Berkeley?â
âNo, I lived with my boyfriend.â You shook your head. Peter began choking on his water at the mention of a boyfriend and May shot him a look.
âPeter. Manners.â She said sternly.
âBoyfriend?â Was all he managed to say between coughs and sputters.
Oh great. Time for this conversation.
âEx-boyfriend.â You corrected. âI got him demoted to traffic duty for two weeks and he wasnât too happy about it.â
âHe broke up with you over that?â Peter raised an eyebrow. âThatâs gotta be the dumbest reason for a breakup Iâve ever heard.â
âMay I ask how you got him demoted?â May wondered.
âWell, Iâm an investigative reporter, and my ex, Andy, is a cop.â You began. âI looked at some classified files on his computer and used them against someone.â
âCarlton Drake, right?â She realized the story sounded familiar. âI read about that. Your exposĂ© about him was everywhere.â
âDidnât he die in his own rocket?â Peter asked you, fully invested in the story.
âYea. I was there. Me andâŠmy friend.â You caught yourself before almost mentioning Venom.
âGosh I read that story forever ago.â May recalled. âIt was all over the news here. I remember Peter ranting to me that this girl was straight out of high school and already taking down shady guys in San Francisco. You were obsessed with the article, remember Peter? Iâm pretty sure you hung it up.â
Peter, you guessed it, turned bright red.
âI just thought you were cool. You know, taking down bad guys and all at such a young age. It really inspired me.â Peter explained. He suddenly looked panicked, like he said too much, and you wondered what it inspired him to do.
âThank you Peter.â You smiled fondly. âHow old are you anyway?â
â19. Iâll be 20 on August 10th.â He said proudly. âWhat about you?â
âHeâs legal.â Venom whispered in your ear. You couldnât even be mad at her, you were thinking the same thing.
âIâm 20.â You told him, and smile crept across his face.
âAnd this boyfriend, where is he now?â May asked. May wasnât blind to what was happening between her nephew and this new neighbor and knew thatâs what Peter was dying to ask.
âI would very much also like to know that.â Peter said, almost robotically. He leaned in closer and stared at you while he awaited the answer.
âHeâs engaged, actually.â You said between sips of water, making Peter sigh in relief. âTo a friend of mine. Theyâre getting married this summer.â
It was the first time you said those words out loud. You didnât feel sad, like you thought you would. You didnât really know how you felt. The smile that broke out on Peters face gave a clear indication on how he felt, though.
âThatâs great. I mean, not great great. Great for him, I mean. Itâs always good to move on. Wether it be with an old friend or a brand new one. Maybe itâs with someone you just met. You never know. Things just happen between the most random of people. Could be a stranger. Or, or, hear me out, it could be less of a stranger. Like a barista, or a mailman or aâŠa neighbor.â Peter stumbled over his words, the last part coming out very quietly. âIâm sorry that things didnât work out though. Between you and him, I mean. â
âThanks.â You shrugged. âIt was tough at first but, Iâm okay now. He wasnât the one.â
âWhen you do find the one, youâll know. I knew almost immediately that Ben was the one. I saw him and my heart said âthatâs the one youâve been looking forâ and I believed it.â May sighed wistfully. You could see her eyes glistening behind her glasses and did something rather bold. You put your hand on top of hers and squeezed. She gave off this loving motherly vibe that you had only seen in movies but never felt for yourself. May gave you the warmest smile and squeezed your hand back.
âThatâs lovely May. Although, I always thought when you met the one, your heart wouldnât say that itâs been looking for that person. I always thought it would say âwelcome homeâ, or something like that. You know? Like, youâve always known them. I donât know though. Maybe Iâve just seen The Princess Bride one too many times.â You shrugged.
âAh. Thatâs a classic in this household.â May recalled. âPeter would refuse to go to bed without watching it.â
âBecause itâs a cinematic masterpiece.â Peter sassed. âYouâre trying to embarrass me by pointing out that even as a child I had impeccable taste? Oh please.â
You laughed at his remark, making May noticed the smile that broke out on Peters face when he succeeded in making their new neighbor laugh.
May looked at you for a while with a content smile on her face before saying, âYeah. I suppose you do have good taste.â

NO WAY HOME SPOLIERS
What better way to end a week filled with finals, tornadoes, thunderstorms and fires, and getting knocked on your ass by the common cold than seeing No Way Home. I was truly having one of the worst weeks of my life, but this movie was truly amazing and blew my expectations out of the water. Also, it made me actual start to truly like MCU Spidey.
So, a lot to talk about. I going to have multiple posts where I go more in depth about everything, but for now I'm just getting my thoughts down.
1. I thought the charges against him were going to be a much larger part of the movie, and I'm surprised but glad they weren't.
2. Matt Murdock!! This is where my heart started beating rapidly and didn't stop for two hours. I am so glad that Charlie Cox still plays him and that he's in the MCU. Also, I know you've got a lot going on Peter, but homeboy just caught a brick flying through your window and you just accept 'I'm a really good lawyer'? Did you not have any follow up questions??
3. Also still to do with Daredevil, but now that he and Deadpool are both in the MCU, we might finally get team red!
4. I am surprised at how much I missed movie theatres and didn't even notice until I was cheering with 100 so other people. The energy was electric and just added to the whole experience.
5. Obviously I was very excited when Andrew showed up, but due to that leak I already knew he was probably in it. Seeing Tobey was the most amazing feeling, relief and excitement all at once.
6. Peter in this movie, especially at the end, feels like actual Peter Parker more than ever. 'I'm the most famous person in the world yet I'm still broke' that's the shit right there.
7. I was sad at the end of the movie, but in a very weird happy way. I was sad that nobody remembered Peter, but happy because I think it was an actually great ending and made Peter out to be comic accurate Peter more than ever.
8. He was sewing his own suit!! I loved the design and shininess, but I'm mostly happy he's finally stepping away from relying so much on Stark's technology.
9. I was so proud when he trapped Strange like yes you DO know geometry go Spidey go!!!
10. Something that probably isn't a huge deal to anyone but me, but why didn't MCU Peter mention Uncle Ben? We know he existed, he was directly mentioned in What If...? But that was a Disney show obviously they didn't collaborate their stories. Right, but his initials were also on Peter's suitcase in Far From Home. Even if I were to overlook him not mentioning Uncle Ben when the other two Peter's both did, why wasn't his gravestone next to May's?? Just bugs me.
11. NED A SORCERER?!?!?!
Honestly can't think of anything more rn but I'm sure I will soon

The Dark Team (part 13)
<<Previous part Masterlist  Next part>>

Warnings: creepy man, hungover (alcohol mentions), abduction mentions.
Chirping birds woke you up as the light hit your face. It was a slightly sunny morning, you could see. A cold one, too. Your head ached; yesterdayâs wine was stronger than youâd think. You remembered very little, and the hangover weighed on your feet as you tried to stand up. Soon, that weight redistributed up to your head, dizziness almost throwing you back in bed.
With much more effort than before, you got up and walked slowly to the kitchen, glancing around. Last night, a sticky kid fell asleep on the doorframe. You chuckled and decided to not wake him up. Loki was nowhere to be found; must be sleeping in his own room, if he had one by then.
An ibuprofen and some cold water later, you checked the time. It was so early; six in the morning. You decided to get working already; maybe someone on the team was awake. If not, you could at least take things off your to-do list for the day and get time free at noon to play videogames with Peter, or help him with that Lego Stark Tower he has been trying to build for almost two weeks now. A nice walk in the park to get some fresh air until some coffee shop opened; thatâs what you needed.
The streets were emptier than youâd imagine, and then you realized it was saturday. Peeping in, a coffee shop next block was already opening, and people were lining up to get in. You made sure to have brought money and a laptop with you, and as you reached your pockets you realized you had your suit on, under normal clothes. Well, at least Iâm prepared for anything now. Even a sunday morning in a lovely coffee shop, you thought, laughing to yourself. If Tony saw you like this, heâd recall that word he says you inherited from him. Paranoid. But no, Stark, Iâm just hungover. Good to know your first instinct once you get up off bed is to suit up. Tony'd be proud. And a little disappointed, too.
You got a table far from the window, wall behind your back making sure nobody could eye your laptop. Once you were settled in and your coffee was getting cold, you started working. You were so glad you were out of the public eye, so you could afford yourself all of these outside activities. Sounded stupid, but if you were to have dinner with Sam, or Steve, or Thor, youâd have to also deal with paparazzis all night long. Actually, in dining out with Thor, paparazzis would be the least of your problems.
âHeyâ, greeted Bucky from the other line. âItâs so early, what are you doing up?â.
âBuck, itâs already tenâ.
âOhâ, he said, and you heard a sliding curtain by his side. âOh, there it is. Sunlightâ.
âWhy are your times all twisted?â.
âWe stayed up until fiveâ.
âDoing what?â.
âLetâs say the mini bar was not so miniâ.
âOh my Godâ, you laughed, and checked for your work on the laptop. âAt this point, I think the only one who didnât get drunk last night is Spidey. Ah. Listen, Iâve arranged todayâs plan, and it has to go right or else you can get abducted again. And we donât want that, okay?â.
âIâm not sure what weâre supposed to do now. Didnât we already get the stick?â.
âThatâs the point, thereâs more⊠you know, bottles hanging aroundâ you lowered your voice. The coffee shop was almost empty, but just in case, you kept it under your breath. âThatâs why you gotta get into Hydraâs last base again. Do not go aloneâ.
You instructed Bucky and then he tried his best to put you on speaker to the rest of the team, but failed. None of them could actually figure out how to do it; Steve was even less familiar with cell phones, and Thor⊠well, not even elaborating on him. The only Asgardian who seemed familiar enough with Midgardâs technologies was sleeping soundly on the compound. You had to explain the plan thoroughly another two times individually, and then finally hung up and got to work, sending them coordinates and turning off Hydraâs hacked security cameras.
Once they were already in, you had not much more to do. At least for a few hours, theyâd be completely submerged in there, and your help wasnât needed anymore. You still planned for some outcomes and didnât even notice the man standing in front of you.
âExcusâŠâ.
âOH... my Godâ, you gasped, taking yourself off your hyper focused state. The man chuckled. His teeth, yellow, seemed like he didnât know anything about dental hygiene. His clothes were perfectly cleaned, though, in a tidy office-type suit; but his hair was hidden by a peaked cap that barely let you see his eye expressions. Very weird looking. Hard to read. Just now unemployed? Dressed like that to get attention? You frowned and closed all tabs, opening a fake account of email and some cheap online magazine. âWhat do you need?â.
âCan I sit here?â.
âNoâ.
He smiled weirdly and manspreaded in the chair you told him not to sit in. You sighed and rolled your eyes.
âWhat are you doing?â, he asked.
You ignore him and keep pretending to read your mails, eyeing how many people were in there too. It was getting fuller than before. If he wanted to steal your laptop heâd have to do it in front of all of these people, and cross the whole coffee shop. He wasnât planning on stealing. You made a security copy of all the files anyways.
âYou have pretty eyesâ.
You ignored him again, but now understood his intentions. God, people could be so shameless sometimes. You literally told him to go away. Youâll repeat it, just in case he would actually listen this time.
âGo awayâ.
He chuckled and stayed in place.
âI just want to talk, sweetieâ.
âSure. Iâm not interestedâ.
âYou have a boyfriend?â.
âI have a very strong fistâ.
He got closer, leaning on the table, and lowering his voice said âYouâre working on the supersoldiers mission, yes?â.
You froze. Suddenly, the creepy man was a bigger threat than youâd anticipated. Your hand hovered over the gun in your pocket, holding strong eye contact with him.
âWho are you?â.
âWhat do you have in your pocket?â, he teased.
âWanna find out?â, you threatened.
Looking over his shoulder, an all-too-familiar fifteen year old hid behind a pile of coffee cups from the bar counter, holding his breath to not laugh. You sighed and broke the tension.
âFunny. Very funny. I almost shoot you, you knowâ.
âThatâs not a very good instinctâ.
âNot an instinct, I truly wanted to shoot youâ.
âYou sure were, pancakeâ, he said as he transformed back into himself, still in those ugly clothes covering half his face. As he looked down to himself, he frowned and changed his clothes to an Asgardian armor. âBut your mortal bullets would be no more than a caress to my skinâ.
âLetâs give it a try, shall we?â, you cocked your gun, joking. He laughed, and Peter got increasingly nervous as you played with your toys in a public and safe place, surrounded by civilians. âDonât worry, Pete, itâs fakeâ.
Peter sighed in relief as you clarified and put it back in your pocket, and Loki smirked, knowing perfectly well you just lied.
âWhy donât we get something to drink, too, mr. Loki?â.
âYeah, whatever you want, kidâ.
âNot a kidâ.
âApologies. Actually, can you order it? Iâm afraid Midgardians donât usually take kindly to my presenceâ, he asked. Peter nodded.
âI do, mr. Lokiâ.
"What?".
"Take it kindky".
Loki smiled and raised his eyebrows, a bit confused. Muttered an âIâm gladâ and instructed him to get an americano, while you packed your laptop in the backpack.
"How's the incognito working out for you in your shiny armor?"
"Better than before. At least now I'm comfortable while getting the same bad looks I always get anyways".
"Shapeshifter can't manage to hide, how ironic", you said, giving him one of the new earbuds, with an attachable mic. "Since you have good strategy plans and you sort of know what you're doing, work with me".
"I thought we were already working together. You know, in this stupid thing called The Dark...".
"Yeah", you interrupted him, rolling your eyes once again. "From behind the scenes, I mean. This is so you can listen to whatever my earbud hears. Don't bite your tongue if you have any inputs, I'm running out of solutions".
Your phone rang again as you were getting up.
âYes?â.
âItâs all gone to trash, y/n. We need a new plan, I canât find Buck anywhere. Whatâs your backup?â, rushed Steveâs voice. It sounded like it was from a public service phone, and the static didnât let you hear Steveâs surroundings. Loki looked at the floor, concentrating. He didn't find anything either, and was too far away to read his mind.
âWait. What do you mean you canât find him? You were supposed to keep an eye on him so he doesnât get kidnapped againâ, you said, opening your laptop again and looking for Buckyâs location. He didnât have it on him.
âYeah, thatâs what I meant with âitâs all gone to trashââ.
âOkay, donât freak out. Where are you?â.
âHydraâs last base, top of the builâŠâ.
âHold up, I have another incoming callâ. You put him on hold and see whoâs calling. It was Bucky, this time. You sigh out of relief. Peter watched you two concerned while approaching you with two coffee cups. You gestured to him to not talk, and Loki had started to type things in your computer. âBuck, where are you? What happened?â.
On the other side of the line, you didnât get a specific answer. You heard muffled noises that you still couldnât quite figure out what they meant, and more than one person behind the phone.
âBuck, you there?â, you asked once again. Buckyâs voice filled the silence with a heartrending scream of agony. You almost dropped your phone, and your heart beated to the speed of light. Oh shit, oh shit, oh shit. They have him. âBuck!â.
âThree hoursâ, called someone, probably one of the Hydra butchers. âYou have three hoursâ.
âThree hours for what?!â, you tried to hold them on the line while tracing the call. It was from a specific coordinate, nobody could get there unless they teleported. Luckily, you had the perfect person for the job. Loki looked at you quizzically.
"Do we not have better people on it? Can't Stark go?".
You returned to Steveâs call, while thinking about some other alternative than taking you three there (including Peter). âThey have Bucky. Locationâs very far away from where we all are, so you try to get out of there and go to Asgard with Thor; theyâll try to kidnap you too, and Hydraâs resources are global. No, donât argue, you screw up, now you do exactly as I sayâ.
âDo you think theyâre the same that hijacked the ship on the first part of the mission?â, asked Loki once you cut the call.
âThey might. We have to go get him, there's no other way. The rest of the team comes back tomorrow and they can't leaveâ.
âNo, I have to goâ, said Loki. âBut Iâm supposed to stay with you two and make sure youâre not endangered, and Iâm sure if I leave you here all alone, youâll try to come by your own meansâ.
âWhich meansâ, you added, âif you take us with you, you can make sure we donât endanger ourselvesâ.
âThis is a terrible ideaâ.
âBut the only one so farâ, you convinced him. âPete, feeling like going on a dangerous mission?â.
âHell yeah!â, he said eagerly. Loki was not very fond of his enthusiasm.
âI can do thisâ, you assured him. âDo you trust me?â.
âYesâ. He didnât hesitate. âBut I donât trust them. You two will stay behind me facing the danger, alright? Nothing of wanting to play heroesâ.
âGot it. Letâs suit up, fellas. Buckyâs waitingâ.

Piano |Sam Holland|
A/N: I wrote this all in one go?What?? You might wanna listen to some piano music for maximum feels lol
Warnings: typical friends to lovers trope, classic cliché shit, shy Sam lmao
You hear the familiar sound of the piano, just standing by the door and listening to the beautiful melody. You were used to hearing Sam play the piano ever since Tom and his parents gifted it to him on his birthday. He was shy of letting anyone listen, but you would often hide and listen, completely in awe.Â
Music had always been close to your heart and he played so beautifully, it made you fall for him even more. You were both best of friends, and you didnât even remember when you had fallen in love with him but you knew he would never feel the same way about you. Or even if he did, you did not want to risk your friendship. Over the past few days, the feeling was growing more than ever, so you tried to avoid him but couldn't stay away for long.Â
You step inside the room, trying not to make a sound.Â
âYou really know how to sneak up on someone,â Sam says, not stopping.Â
âHow do you even know when Iâm here?âÂ
âInstincts. Iâve known you for so long, now I just get a feeling when youâre nearâÂ
âReally? Like twins?â
âNo I heard the boys yelling that you were coming to visitâ he laughs. âAnd what? Can twins really do that?âÂ
âYou are a twin, you should know that,â you say sitting down beside him.Â
âWell I donât know. Iâve never felt that with HarryâÂ
You stay like that for a while, him playing without any change in rhythm and you listening while looking at him lovingly. You see his soft hair slightly fall onto his face. The freckles on his face reminding you of the constellations in the sky. You look at his hands, moving so gracefully over the keys, his long and slender fingers being able to flexibly change the chords. He had a slight smile on his face, which was shy but still proud. And you knew he was proud to be able to show you his skills, which he couldnât do in front of anyone else.
He slows down a little,"You know why I play only in front of you?"Â
"Because your brothers are divs?"Â
"Yeah that but also⊠because you are the only one with whom I can be myself"Â
"Why would you not want to be yourself? Everyone loves you the way you are"Â
"Everyone? Does that include you?" he smirks but with a genuine smile.Â
You weren't sure how to answer that.Â
"Of course I love you. You're my best friend" The sound of the piano seemed like a background music for the moment, as Sam increased his pace and it became more dramatic.Â
"Well only as a friend?"Â
"What are you trying to make me say, Sam?"Â
"Nothing"Â
"No tell me"Â
"Nothing!"Â
"Tell me, tell me,"you tickle him, causing him to grab your waist and look at you.Â
"You really don't know?"Â
"I do. But I'm not sure" your faces were inches apart now, both of you staring at each other's eyes, the tension growing every second.Â
"Take a chance" his voice was barely a whisper.Â
"Why don't you do it?"Â
"Jesus, y/n you are so stubborn"Â
"I can say the same thing to you"Â
And the next thing you knew, your lips were on his. He moved his hands from the piano to your cheeks, softly caressing them with his thumb. You had dreamed of this moment for so long, to taste him, to be in his arms. You move your hands through his hair, you had felt these strands on your fingers so many times before but not like this, there were emotions involved now, tugging on his hair will never be the same again for you.Â
His lips felt so soft and warm against yours, smoothly gliding and smacking, your tongue gracefully tracing his. Your eyes were closed, savouring this moment. Your breaths were steady but fast, your heart beating like it would pound out of you.
You gasp slowly, and open your eyes to Sam smiling.Â
"So?"Â he whispers.
"Soo.."Â
"Will youâŠ?"Â
"Will I what? Say it"Â
He was being stubborn again. Both of you wanted the other to admit it first.
"Well, will you be my girlfriend?"Â
"Took you long enough to ask, Holland. Yes, I will, Sam" you say, smiling uncontrollably. Â
He pulls you into a hug, you feel the soft fabric of his hoodie on your cheek, feeling the warmth until you hear the boys cheering and whistling.Â
"FREAKING FINALLY!" Harry shouts."We've put a bet on this, mate, I win!"Â

How I would have introduced Spidey to the MCU
(bear in mind if this had happened in the same timescales as homecoming, this would have come out before Spider-verse. Spiderverse is good enough that Iâm kinda glad they didnât do this but hey, this is all theoretical.)
we start with an adult Peter - bonus points if heâs played by Andrew Garfield although thatâs unlikely for reasons that will become clear - at the height of his powers. Heâs an adult with a good job, heâs married to Mary-Jane, things are generally going great. He has a nightmare about Gwen Stacey early on his solo movie, so he know heâs seen some shit, that this is a Spiderman whoâs been around the block a time or three.
He first appears as a guest star in an Avengers movie, some people love it, some people hate it, everyone is talking about it.
And then he dies at the mid-point of his first solo movie, leaving his protege Miles Morales to try and fill the gap, and he manages it, he defeats the Goblin and saves the day, but thereâs no resolution to their relationship, Peter is just dead and Miles is just doing his best to cope.
Miles gets some cameos in other movies, and then we get to his second solo movie. And Peter is there. Miles doesnât know why, but Peter says he survived somehow, he was just in a coma, and Miles is so fucking relieved, finally he has a mentor again! It seems almost too good to be true!
And maybe it is, because people seem to be afraid of Peter, and bodies start turning up with skin missing from their faces, shaped like a handprint, almost like someone with sticky hands has just...
But it canât be Peter, obviously. Peterâs a good guy. Sure sometimes it seems like he doesnât know Miles at all, sometimes thereâs these weird gaps in his memory, and eventually he confesses he doesnât remember being in the hospital at all, and heâs having these nightmares, or nightmare really, this recurring nightmare about a Jackal and a girl with blonde hair who he canât save, but heâs a good guy. Heâs Milesâs mentor. Heâs his friend.
Anyway lifeâs hard enough as it is. Heâs got this new science teacher, Professor Warren, who is a total asshole, detirmined to make his students suffer, and Miles is struggling to balance school and spiderman, he just wants to pass this year and make his parents proud. Although when he mentions this when heâs at Peterâs apartment one day MJ says that she and Peter had had a teacher in college called Professor Warren, and doesnât know why Peter seems to have no memory of the guy.
Then on patrol one night, Miles catches the other spider-man, the one whoâs been killing people, the one with the red and black suit that looks like an inverse of Milesâs suit, and he pulls the mask off to reveal... Peter.
Obviously Miles is horrified, so horrified that Peter gets away. He goes to confront Peter at his apartment, but Peter insists he hasnât left all night and Mary Jane backs him up. Miles canât shake it though, canât shake the suspicion, and he and Mary Jane start to investigate.
He starts to realise just how wrong things are when he fights the Red and Black spiderman again and he doesnât know Mary Jane, doesnât know Miles, doesnât even react to the name Peter. In fact when Miles calls him that, in an attempt to appeal to his better nature, he replies that Miles is thinking of someone else, that his name is Kaine.
He escapes again, but this time Peter is waiting to tail him back to wherever he was coming from. And he says he found it, says they wonât believe what heâs found... and then the line goes dead.
Miles is able to figure out a way to retrace his steps, and Mary Jane insists on coming with him. He tries to tell her no but sheâs detirmined.
What they find looks like a warehouse from the outside, but inside itâs a mad scientist lab, complete with things floating in tubes of bubbling green liquid. Well not so much things as people. Well not so much people as Peter. Peters. And a blonde girl, about Peterâs age.
Obviously the bad guy is revealed to be Professor Warren, the Jackal. He was in love with Gwen Stacey, even though she was his student and dating someone else, and heâs detirmined to clone her, but he figured heâd practise first on the person he blames for her death - Peter.
He releases Kaine from his tube, and he and Miles fight, and itâs not going well, but Mary Jane manages to release not!Peter who joins the fight. Then Warren gets a gun on Mary Jane while sheâs trying to figure out the controls to release the not!Gwen, and not!Peter knocks it out of the way, but gets shot in the process. Mary Jane knocks Warren out and Kaine takes the opportunity to bail. Peter gives Miles a speech about how heâs passing the torch, about how Miles is the real Spiderman, and then dies in MJâs arms. They release the teenage clone!Gwen and carry her out while the police turn up to arrest Warren. Our film ends with clone!Gwen waking up in the hospital and jumping so hard when Miles startles her that she ends up on the ceiling. Hanging from her finger-tips.
And our post credits scene is people smugglers in Mexico. We go full Batman, something in the dark, moving too fast to see taking them out one at a time, until the figure steps into the light to rescue the girl theyâd been moving. She introduces herself as Aracely, and asks his name, and he says itâs Kaine. Kaine Parker. Cut to black.
Any thatâs how Iâd use the 2nd most hated spiderman storyline of all time to remove Peter Parker, establish Miles and a version of spider-gwen as both living in the same universe, set up MJ as a recurring character and mentor figure to the younger spider kids, and set the stage for a TV miniseries based on Christopher Yostâs Scarlet Spider run
#spider-man#miles morales#scarlet spider#ben reilly#ultimate spider man#kaine parker#the clone saga#mary jane watson#spider gwen#for those who aren't aware#aracely is a superhero#her code name is hummingbird and she might be destined to destroy all of reality#it's unclear#she's awesome#this is her canonical backstory#i'm not adding in people smuggling and gangsters for no reason#yost actually already writes for the mcu#you know all those jokes you think are watiti?#those are yost#who actually wrote ragnarok#and has written some of my favourite marvel comics ever#so he could write the tv show

Katie â€â€â€ happy birthday in advance! So, I was hoping, if you would like, you could write enemies to lovers blurb. I just can't get enough of those đ„șâ€â€ love you đđ„°
Hey lovely thank you so much! This was actually really fun to write even though I never seem to be able to write enemies to lovers haha. I hope its okay! I also managed to write this in 32 degree weather so I'm proud of myself.Â
WC: 1.5k (woops) Warnings: none just Peter being a cute babey
The music was loud, drinks spilling onto the floor as a crowd of people danced without a care in the world and the smell of alcohol was strong enough to taste. It was everything you despised confined in one tiny apartment. To be honest, you werenât sure why you were here but there was no turning back now.
With a deep breath you made your way through the room, cursing your father for making you come to Peterâs party. It wasnât as if you would have gone willingly since Peter Parker was far from your bestie but Tony had been insistent.Â
You were honestly surprised, you didnât clock Peter as a party animal but this party seemed to prove you wrong. Even Flash was there drinking and playing a game of spin the bottle and Brad too, laughing and joking with some girl. Peter surely would never have invited them two unless out of politeness.Â
There was hardly anyone you knew or liked there and it was getting increasingly difficult to find Peter which was odd seeing as this was his party. You just wanted to find him, give him the mandatory happy birthday and gift to please your Dad and leave as quickly as possible.Â
âMJ thank god.â You sighed in relief at spotting the familiar face and instantly rushed over to the small corner of the kitchen she was occupying.Â
âHey loser, whatâs up?â MJ looked up from the pages of her book and raised an eyebrow. âI wouldnât have expected to see you here.âÂ
âDad insisted.â You shrugged and that seemed to provide enough of an explanation as MJ nodded, both of you knowing how Tony could be. âHave you seen Peter?âÂ
MJ showed a glance of worry as she spoke. âHe said he wasnât feeling good. I think heâs still in his room.â She nodded towards his room, a sign on the door of which said âno entryâ. You smiled in thanks and nodded before heading towards it, leaving MJ to go back to her book.
You clenched your jaw a little in annoyance as you pushed past the partygoers to finally reach the door and sighed before knocking. Of course it wasnât heard over the music and cheering so you decided to just walk in.
The room was relatively messy but still more organised than you had expected. It was dark apart from the moonlight filtering in through the gap in the curtains and the dim light of a phone. Peter was curled up on his bed, hugging a pillow to his chest as he listened to some soft music through his earphones.Â
âPeter?â You spoke softly but loud enough to be heard over the music outside. Peter was too wrapped in his own music to hear you so you gently shook his shoulder, making him jump before he rolled over to face you.Â
âJeez canât you read-?!â Peter took one of his earphones out, clenching his jaw as he squinted through the darkness to try and see who it was. âY-y/n?â His tone changed into confusion as he turned on his bedside lamp, confirming that it was actually you.Â
âHey.â You waved awkwardly and gave a small smile as Peter looked at you in bewilderment.Â
âHi.â He spoke slowly, letting out a laugh of disbelief as he looked at you. âW-what are you doing here?âÂ
You blushed, thanking the heavens for the dim light in the room so Peter couldnât spot it. âI, um, I came to wish you a happy birthday.â You cringed at yourself as you spoke before handing him the wrapped gift.Â
Peter smiled as you spoke, feeling a warmth spread through his chest that youâd even remembered. The feeling only elevated as you gave him the gift.Â
âYou didnât have to.âÂ
âYeah well I did.â You shrugged and looked down at your hands as you fidgeted with them, suddenly feeling nervous as Peter unwrapped it. When you looked back up you saw that his smile was ten times wider as he looked at the pop figure you had brought him.Â
âIs this-?âÂ
âA limited edition Chewbacca.â You nodded, feeling proud of yourself for that gift. Your Dad might have been persistent about the party but you were the one who picked the gift, knowing Peter would like it.Â
âOh my god. This is- itâs awesome. Thank you.âÂ
You closed your eyes and shook your head, âIt was nothing really-â You hummed in surprise as Peter wrapped his arms around you, hugging you tightly. He was warm and having his arms around you made you feel⊠safe.Â
âLet me thank you.â Peter insisted, pulling back from the hug just as you returned it. As soon as it ended you just wanted to be back in his arms. You quickly brushed off the feeling and nodded, trying to hide your blush as you looked down at the floor.Â
Peter turned and put the pop figure on his shelf along with some others he had collected and Lego he had built. You smiled and took the opportunity to look more around his room before hearing a loud commotion outside with MJ yelling. Peter sighed deeply and went back to sitting on his bed, holding his knees to his chest.Â
âWhy are you in here anyway, isnât this party for you?â You asked curiously, sitting down on the edge of his bed. Peter gave a dry laugh, shaking his head.Â
âIt was meant to be.â He spoke sadly with another sigh, meeting your gaze as you asked him silently to explain. âI wanted a quiet night with my friends and I-I made the mistake of inviting Flash. He told the whole school.â Peter buried his face in his hands and groaned. âMayâs going to kill me.âÂ
You felt a wave of sympathy crash over you as you looked at Peterâs sad form. You should have known he hadnât asked for any of this, as much as you and Peter didnât get along, you knew each other. It was hard not to when you were on the same team fighting crime.Â
âIâm sorry. Flash is a dick.â You spoke genuinely, making Peter peek out from his hands and smile a little. He nodded and bit his lip, looking wistfully past you to the door. âYou still didnât answer my question. Why are you in here by yourself?âÂ
Peter seemed more reluctant to answer, his eyes looking away from yours and his cheeks turning a light shade of red. âIt got too much.â He spoke quietly, you almost didnât hear him. You understood before remembering that Peterâs senses were heightened so whatever anxiety the normal introvert felt at a party was much worse for him.Â
It suddenly made sense to you why the room had been pitch black and why he was listening to soft music through his earphones, he was blocking everything out to return his senses to normal. You had seen him do it once before after a mission at the compound.Â
âThis seems like a much better party anyway.â You smiled at Peter who met your gaze once again, his cheeks flushing a darker shade of red. âMind if i stay?âÂ
He nodded meekly, smiling as he scooted over on his bed to make space for you to sit next to him. You took the space and felt a warm feeling spread through your body as Peter offered you one of his earphones which you gladly took.Â
You spent the remainder of the party, talking and playing silly games with Peter. Both of you enjoying each otherâs company in a way you had never let yourself experience before, too caught up in trying to prove your dislike for one another.Â
Eventually you winded up watching a movie after you told Peter youâd never seen Back to the Future. It was halfway through the movie when the party finally started to quiet down and you could hear MJ ushering people out the door.Â
âPete I think-âÂ
You were interrupted by a soft snore and his head flopping onto your shoulder. You smiled and blushed softly, placing a light kiss to his curls and feeling that warm feeling again before returning to watch the movie.Â
Just as the credits began to roll you felt your eyes become heavier and thought about leaving. You knew it was the best thing to do but Peter had you in a hold much similar to Koala hugging a tree and he looked so peaceful.Â
You quickly pulled out your phone to text your Dad you were staying at Peterâs, telling a small lie that youâd had too much to drink which you knew heâd see through but you didnât care. Heâd just be thankful that you were finally getting along enough to stay in the same room together.Â
As soon as he texted back saying that it was okay and to ânot have too much funâ, you rolled your eyes and let yourself fall asleep, leaning against Peter and his warmth.Â

The Devil All the Time ( 2020 )
OBVIOUSLY SPOILERS FREE REVIEW
"There's a lot of no-good sons of bitches out there"
Okay alright first of allÂ
This is not your generic go-to netflix crime thriller if you are watching it with that intention everything is wrong with youÂ
This Film is dark , not just dark but dark as hell which is filled with gore elements which also includes a multi layered story telling and the film is filled with a group of astonishing cast members and every one of them has a potential to carry the whole film on their shoulders with no hard work but just with grace and ease so these reasons altogether might have over hyped few people's expectations and i think that is the main reason why i am seeing some mixed reviews here and there online or maybe just because you started watching this film with a very wrong intent or wrong mind set like i said before and i am stressing this so much because of in my opinion this film is just perfect maybe there are flaws obviously every film will have flaws but i just couldn't see them ? Maybe because i am a big fan of tom holland i might be little biased but to me this film is top notch and this is a perfect film filmÂ
Now speaking about the cast & film overallÂ
This is a very slow paced slow burning piece of artÂ
It takes you to the places you can never think of mentally and it makes you feel completely lost in emotions by the end of the film making you numbÂ
Antonio Campos is a fucking genius i love his way of story tellingÂ
He's honest , he knows what he is doing , he loves taking risks and he never fears when ever he goes out of the conventional film making style and i very much love how he connected every character in the film like i mean every character in the film is interconnected and if you remove any one character you will feel the void , disturbance and unbalance in the film.Â
Film lovers might argue with me or hate me for saying this but i feel this film is so much better than christine đđ€đ» atleast to me ? And this is coming from a person who also loved it a lotÂ
Now the castÂ
I cant speak about everyone in the film because this has such a long list of talented actors đ who rocked in the film i am only going to speak abt some of my favourite performances as of now i promise to speak about every other cast member and their performance in the later days coz i am very sure this is a film i am going to talk a lot from now and this is also a film that i am going to watch and enjoy in the future daysÂ
First TOM FUCKING HOLLANDÂ
I have been seeing this dude's films even before the civil war where he played the spidey role and i always felt he was a very raw and potential actor since his childhood but after seeing him in civil war and spider man hoco its just impossible for me to not like him as an actor ? HE IS SO GOOD ON SCREEN and he makes you believe everything when ever he's on screen maybe its swinging from wall to wall or putting a donut or whatever into a guys mouth while kicking his ass and making it look bad ass afđ„ few might feel this are such a silly examples to say but to me this is about how tom brings a realistic approach to a scene and makes it good and i have always been a big fan of tom holland since spiderman hoco and this is nothing related to tdat but y'all might already know timothee was the second closest option of mcu to cast as spidey and tom grabbed that role ever since tom is just busy with mcu films and where as timothee had a incredible and unbelievable growth as an ACTOR for real to me that is stunning because he did it in such short of span and to me as fan of tom holland part of me was always loving him as spidey but a big heart of me felt a void and sad because tom is missing a lot of great opportunities which has a chance to showcase his real acting abilities which made me think what if timothee got the spidey role instead of tom? Maybe we would have seen a serious tom holland as an actor and this thought killed me everytime but everything happens for a reason and tom holland is undoubtedly the best spidey we have ever got and anyways when films like tdat happen many people realise and understand how great and how fucking incredible tom holland is as an actor and i love when everyone appreciate him for this !! It makes my heart very happy and this is the exact reason why this film is so personal and special to meÂ
Sorry for completely deviating from the film but this is tumblr and i am not a serious film critic lol so forgive me.Â
And speaking about his performance in the film he is just surreal and outstanding . The character that he played is a very complicated one not many relate to that character but every one can understand his emotions, actions and intentions in the film and all the credit goes to tom for bringing a life to that character and playing it in such a beautiful way listen to me very carefully when i am saying this not many actors from this generation can bring bundle of emotions at the same time in a same scene but tom holland does that with such an ease and i stg i am not exaggerating if you watch the film you will know what i mean !! And i am very proud to say i am his big fanÂ
Now Robbert pattinsonÂ
What the fuck should i talk about this asshole đđ?Â
My dude's been killing it since remember me and as an actor like i said in the Tenet Review he has matured a lot as an actor since good time and he played a very powerful and sick role in the film i am not gonna spoil it for others just go and watch the fucking film atleast for him he did a great job and i dont understand how the women and gays are dealing with him? Seriously even as a straight guy its hard for me to concentrate on the film or scenes where ever he's present because this asshole is so fucking hot and sexy đđ The directors should either deglamorise him by making him fat or bald or just hide his face with prosthetic make up or sth just like how directors hide tom hardy's face in every film he's in đ. Now coming back to his performance its really hard to dominate him when ever he's on screen dude just want all the attention towards him , such a selfish actor huhÂ
Bill SkarsgardÂ
He played a very important and crucial role in the film he maynot have big screen time but we can totally feel his presence through out the film i think this one sentence explains how important his character is to the film and how well he potrayed the role and he's the only guy in the film who got an incredible character growth throughout his journey in the film
Harry MellingÂ
It would be very unfair if i dont speak about harry's performance in tdatÂ
DUDE KILLED IT . HE SCARED ME WITH HIS EMOTIONS AND EXPRESSIONS . He didn't even a play a negative role but he just added a lot of depth not only to his character but also the film with his intimidating portrayalÂ
Sebastian stanÂ
This is the most honest and a very raw performance from Sebastian stan so far ( i am saying this based on the films that i have seen of his ) i just wish he had more screen time thats the only thing that i didnt like in the film also there are so many blanks that needs to be filled about his characterÂ
Eliza Scanlen
I dont remember her from any film or tv series that i have seen before but she's outstanding in the film , the character doesnt have much something new to offer so i can't speak a lot for her but as far as the character concerned she did her best and her performance is a impressive one and many people are gonna love her .Â
Riley KeoughÂ
Unlike the previous films & tv series she's been inÂ
This film gave her a very challenging role and she's the only women in the film who's been through ups and downs and has a very complicated but a impressive character growth with minimal limitations and dimensionsÂ
She was fabulous and incredible . It just stuns me how the character has begin and how it ended at the endÂ
And special mention to jason clarke and the old couple who played grandparents ( kind of ) to Arvin Russel and lenora . Not all heroes wear the cape.Â
Finally despite the mention of god several times in the film this is not really about god at all its about the DEVIL , The DEMON that carries and plays a very pivotal role in the film you cannot see it but you can sense it and feel itÂ
Its about the blind faith, its about the irreversible & inescapable fate . I really love how Antonio Campos has connected all the dots by the end of the film with a very impressive film making and with a steady gothic theme running till the end internally and i haven't completely finished the book ( The devil all the time ) but if anyone really wants to completely bring the book life they cannot do it in a single film it will take you atleast 4 or 5 tv series to do so but Antonio Campos did it with a single film and added a very deep meaning to the core of the film w/o deviating from the roots of the book & even touched the aspects like duality of a man and some of you grateful fucks are complaining about himÂ
OBVIOUSLY films ard subjective but you all need to be more open about this filmÂ
In simple words please fucking watch this film guys đ€â€Â
This one is not for everyone but everyone will have atleast a small aspect in the film that y'all are going to like / love / hate / discuss about.Â
The devil all the time is violent , brutal , honest and perfect in every possible way atleast to me and i really want you all to watch it if you're into such type of stuffÂ
Remember No country for old men ? Now make it 10 times more violent but add some meaning to it with a realistic approach but more slow burning drama and a little bit of darkness ... now that is what The Devil all the time is .

Dialogue: âThe best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear!â & âI love you but your taste on Christmas music is horribleâ
âPeter? Are you listening to me?â Ned told him over the earpiece. Peter was distracted. Thank God he wasnât swinging, the cold air was hitting his face while he was sitting on a rooftop.
âsorry Ned. Iâm just thinking about somethingâ
âand thatâs clearly bothering you. What is it? Is Morgan ok?â Peter loved the way his friends bounded with his little sister, they werenât actually related but the feeling was just the same. And having Ned, Betty and MJ get along with her was pure magic, he felt like he could trust them with big things like the Stark relationship he held with not just Tony but Pepper, Morgan and Happy, even when MJ and Betty didnât know he is Spider-Man.
âsomething Pepper said today. Â I donât know what she was talking, well, not what a whoâ
âa who? Ok, you need to speak clearly, you donât make any sense, Peterâ
"you know Morgan was visiting the apartment, right?" "yeap. What about that?" "well, at some point we were chatting and drinking some hot chocolate and Pepper called, I had the call on speaker and she said something a about "my girlfriend" that she wanted to meet her and should take her to their house for a coffee or a lunch or whatever. But I don't have a girlfriend" "yes, that's a little weird. Did Morgan know about that?" "no! She totally freak out and threat me for keeping secrets from her, then Em told her I was too weird to date someone and that was it" why he was friking out so much about a stupid conversation? He didn't have a girlfriend and he just needed to call Pepper and correct her. That was it "Peter, are you scared that MJ may think you actually have a girlfriend?" Peter sensed the smile on Ned's face without seeing him "what? Of course no. She doesn't have to do anything with this" nop, she wasn't the problem, he was just to anxious to call Pepper and correct her "hum. You sure? I remember you having a massive crush on her back in senior year at high school. Maybe living with her made those feelings show up again" now he was regretting telling Ned about that all those years ago "Ned, that was a long time ago and then, well, you know, Gwen and all of that happened and I don't think I have feelings for MJ or that I want to have a relationship with someone" Gwen was everything he ever dreamed in a girl and his Spider-Man duties messed everything up leaving him with another death on his shoulders alongside Ben's. That's exactly why he tried to protect MJ, she didn't need to be in danger just because she knew his secret identity. Ned never had problems with him being a target for being a FOS, but with Betty, that was other story and the same reason she didn't know either. "I'm just saying Peter. This doesn't have to be about Gwen or even MJ, it's about you totally friking out about something that can be fixed with a call. You need to sleep, all this patrol and the cold are messing with your head. Go get some rest Pete" Ned was right, he needed to sleep and call Pepper to clarify the wrong information. "I'm calling it quits for tonight. It was a slow night after all. Thanks for listening Ned, say hi to Betty for me please" after a short goodbye and a promise for a movie date with Peter and MJ, Ned finished the call and Peter got up from the rooftop. He arrived home at 2am, he was glad they could pay a small apartment with windows on both their rooms and not just one, like others he had visited while looking for a place to move. That made everything easier, MJ never knew when he went out or came back from patrol, and if something was too bad he texted her that he was out early when he probably was recovering in the Avengers facilities. The next day he woke up to MJ humming a pop song, she was in a good mood so probably she already took a tea or a coffee. Peter got 4 full hours of sleep since he arrived from patrol and he considered that a win.
âMorninââ Peter knew he looked totally wrecked but he felt good, like the Christmas spirit was taking over him.
âHey, loser. Want some coffee?â Her hair was on a messy bun. All her curls were framing her face, she looked beautiful.
âYeah. Thanksâ
âI was thinking, maybe we could decorate today. Do you have something to do?â
âAammm, no. Iâm free. Jameson havenât called and I am not offering myself until next Monday, Iâm really tiredâ Ned was right, he needed to rest. Rhino, college, The Bugle⊠J. J. Jameson and his idea that Spider-Man was a threat but anyway having photos of him on every front page he could, everything was too much right now.
âHave you talked to Ned? He said something about a movie night with Betty the other day when we talkedâ Yes! The movie night they have agreed last night.
âYeah. He mentioned something last night. We can decorate the apartment and then invite them for some fun. I think we need itâ He knew MJ was stressed too and having Betty and Ned around was a good distraction for everyone.
He took his coffee and then helped MJ doing some scrambled eggs for they breakfast and he went to take a shower. After his shower he changed clothes to some Christmas sweeter that he knew MJ was going to make fun of it. While he was deciding in using his Spider-Man socks or his Christmas tree socks he started playing some carols on his phone. He created a full playlist on his Spotify for this moment.
He went out of his room and found Michelle carrying the boxes with the Christmas decorations. How she managed to hold three boxes at the same time was a mystery. If he didnât knew he was Spider-Man he could swear that she was Spider-Man, but that was a stupid idea. MJ was strong enough to lift the boxes by herself without superpowers, maybe they werenât that heavy and he was just making things up.
âOh, God! Seriously? That one?â Peter knew MJ didnât like that sweeter. It was a Rudolf one with a big red nose that you pressed and it started playing Christmas carols, May bought it for him two years ago and he loved it.
âI know you secretly love it. Press the noseâ
âNo!â
âPress the nose. I know you want toâ He crossed the living room and got close to her
âNo! Stop itâ She started to run away from him, sorting boxes while crossing the room
âPress the nose, come on MJ!â he was trying to get to her and they ended up running around the sofa, avoiding the boxes and the coffee table. MJ started laughing when Peter got close to her and tried to grab her arm but she managed to get loose and he ended holding her hand for a few seconds until she kept running away.
âWe need to start decorating or Ned and Betty are going to arrive and we havenât done anythingâ She was still laughing. Peter loved to make her laugh, it wasnât an easy task but he loved the challenge.
They spend the morning and past midday decorating a Christmas tree that was basically some fake branches placed like a real Christmas tree, MJ said it reflected her soul. Every Christmas, Peter decorated the branches with bright colors, he hang some toys or pushies and tried to add many colors to it. He said to MJ that it was the perfect representation of the two of them, the black, perfectly placed branches for her and the colorful decorations for him.
MJ placed the stockings on their small fake fireplace along with some holly, then moved to the window and decorated it with led lights and tinsel, she finished the decorations placing the wreath on their front door. Everything looked perfect, now they needed to set their cushions and blankets for their movie night.
Two hours later the apartment looked totally different from the day before. Ned and Betty arrived after MJ and Peter took their lunch. They opened the door and found a very smiley Betty using a pink dress and a huge fluffy coat accompanied with Ned using a Christmas sweeter and jeans.
âHey Betty!â MJ and Betty always found lots of things to talk about. Betty had managed to make MJ open more about her feelings, her college and even family, Peter was very impressed by Betty and her ability to make MJ talk like her life depended on it. But Ned and Peter were never included in those kinds of conversations.
âHey Dorkâ in high school MJ called them losers or dorks, now Peter was the loser and Ned was the dork. MJ and Ned did a little hand shake they made up in high school and she moved back a little so Peter could say hi to their friends while everybody entered the apartment. Ned and Peter did their usual handshake and then Peter kissed Bettyâs cheek.
âMJ, the apartment looks amazingâ Betty was looking around the living room like she was in the White House and surrounded of the most beautiful Christmas decorations
âIt was mostly me so, thank youâ
âHey!! I helped!â
âThe tree, right Peter?â Betty knew them too well
âOf course. That masterpiece is my doingâ He was very proud of this year results with the decoration of the tree and Ned was looking at it like it was the most beautiful Christmas tree ever
âI love it, Peterâ Ned said, always being the supporting friend
âMJ we can make some pizza for the movie night while the boys look for the movies we can watch. Would you like that?â Peter knew that was a key word for âwe need to talk without loser and dork listeningâ
âYes! I would love toâ They moved quickly to the kitchen and started talking right away in whispers.
âThat was fastâ Ned was looking at Betty with adoring eyes while Peter was looking at MJ moving around the kitchen, totally owning the small space
âWell, we can make the best of our time without themâ
âChristmas carols?â they looked at each other on a silent talk they have grown to develop along the years they have meet
Peter showed Ned his playlist full of Christmas carols and they connected a small speaker so they could hear the music through the whole apartment.
â Jingle bells, jingle bells Jingle all the way Oh, what fun it is to ride In a one horse open sleighâ
The speaker started to sing and soon both of them started to sing along.
âHey, jingle bells, jingle bells Jingle all the way Oh, what fun it is to ride In a one horse open sleighâ
Ned turned the volume up and stared to sing louder with Peter, making both girls to turn around and look at them. They were singing louder and louder each time the same lines were sung by the speakers on the living room.
âNed!!!â Peter heard Betty over the loud music and pocked Ned for him to just sing louder
âNed, Betty is calling youâ Peter told Ned close to his ear so he made sure Ned was listening to him. He stopped singing and ran to the kitchen to hug Betty
âIâm here. Do you need anything?â Peter could see how soft Ned was around Betty all the time, it was really nice to see them so happy and comfortable with each other
âYes. Can you do me a favor? Stop singing, please. I love you but your taste on Christmas music is horribleâ Betty was looking at Ned with all the love in the planet but serious enough for Ned to know that she mean it
âNot just that the song is totally awful and the lyric doesnât make sense but also that you both are terrible singersâ
âAw MJ! But the best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear!â
âThen can you take some singing lessons for next year?â MJ was teasing him, he wasnât that bad at singing. He knew it
âJust if you sing with meâ He had heard MJ singing and she was really good at it, but she never let anyone hear her singing too loudly, just soft whispers. With that comment MJ turned around and kept doing the base for the pizza. Ned said something to Bettyâs ear and then gave her a little peck on the cheek and moved away from her.
Peter could see MJ and Betty chatting while Betty was putting some toppings for the pizza, at the same time she was telling Michelle something and they both looked excited over what they were speaking. Well, as excited as MJ could look over Bettyâs news. Her face was mostly expressionless but her eyes were shinning, that was all he needed to know she was interested in whatever they were talking.
âPeter?â
âMmm?â
âCan you stop looking at MJ with those puppy eyes and pay attention to me?â Ned had a mocking tone
âIâm not making âpuppy eyesâ at MJâ
âThen Iâm getting worried if those eyes are for Bettyâ Ned was having too much fun mocking him âBut seriously, I need to tell you somethingâ Peter turned his head to see Nedâs face and found mixed emotions there
âWhat is it?â
âI need your help for buying Bettyâs Christmas presentâ
âYeah, of course. Do you know what to buy or you want me to ask her casually what she wants?â
âI know what Iâm buying but I need you to go with me and pick it with meâ
âOkaaaay⊠Can I know what is it? Itâs like a big thing? Do we need to hire someone to help us take it to your house?â Peter was confused to say the least
âIâm buying an engagement ringâ Ned spoke so fast and so quiet that if it wasnât for Peter superpowers he had totally missed the phrase
âNed, thatâs amazing!â Peter was really happy for them and totally available to help them to be happy together
âItâs not a surprise, but it is a surprise. We have talked about getting married eventually and we have been dating for a long time and living together is just feels right, so I want to make it officialâ Peter had a small flashback to a few hours ago, how living with someone felt right. Him trying to catch MJ, making breakfast and shopping with Morgan. Some things felt right, so he totally got what Ned was talking about. Not that he was getting married to MJ but they were close enough to understand the feeling
âTell me when and where and I will be there. I will be happy to helpâ
âThanks! I really want to pick the perfect ring for herâ now Ned was making puppy eyes at Betty. It was really cute to see them so in love after such a long time.
âGuys! Pizza is almost done so that movies better be readyâ Betty was pointing at them with a spatula as a threat
âThey will be ready when you both finish that delicious pizza, honeyâ Ned moved quickly to the bag were he had brought the movies for them to watch. They picked Love Actually, they all loved the movie and it was perfect for the season.
They girls took the two pizzas they made to the coffee table and some plates. Ned ran to the kitchen and grabbed some mugs and the soda from the fridge. Their sofa wasnât big enough for the four of them so Peter sat on the floor and helped pouring the soda on the four mugs. MJ closed the curtains and turned off the light. When everything was ready Ned sat with Betty lying on the couch with her head on Nedâs lap. Peter knew MJ wasnât going to make Betty move to a sitting position for her to sit on the sofa with them, so she sat next to Peter on the floor.
Ned took the remote and stared the movie. Soon enough they finished the homemade pizzas and drank the soda. MJ covered herself with a blanket after half the movie and rested her head on the couch, close to Bettyâs knees. Peter could see her trying not to fall asleep, he moved to place his empty mug on the coffee table and placed himself closer to MJ than he was before.
Their arms were pressed against each other and he felt MJ laughing softly to something happening on the movie. He wasnât paying attention anymore, too focused on the heat radiating from MJ while she was tightly wrapped on her blanket. Was she actually cold? While Peter was divagating, MJ placed her head on Peter shoulder and he froze.
He thanked every God, Lord and Supreme master he was taller than MJ now, just for a few centimeters but that small difference made easier for them to keep the posture without hurting MJâs neck. He tried not to breath too hard to not bother her or make her move, he also pretended not to hear her heart racing while placing his head over hers  and then slowing down as she felt asleep. The movie was coming to an end and he tried to look at Ned.
Betty was asleep on Nedâs lap and he was playing with her hair. They shared a look and decided to wake the girls up so they could all go to sleep. After they woke up, Betty and Ned decided to go home, it wasnât late after all. MJ and Peter organized the room and lifted everything from the coffee table and took the plates and mugs to the kitchen. Peter was definitely skipping patrol, he wanted to rest a little now that Rhino had disappeared several days ago. He knew he was coming back any minute and he needed to be ready for that.

Why I Wanted To Try Being an Amateur Movie Critic
Hello everyone! This is the Critical Buck (great name, I know right?). I am a movie enthusiast who's decided to try his hand at amateur film criticism. Why you ask? I'm glad you're so interested.
The first movie I ever remember âlikingâ was the 2002 Sam Raimi film Spider-Man. While I cannot recall seeing the movie in theaters, as I would have been just under five years old at the time of release, I do remember the movie playing constantly in the apartment I grew up in. Luckily, my father was just as happy to watch the movie with me anytime I wanted, as he loved it as much as I did, and my mother fell in love with the character of Peter Parker enough to tolerate the movieâs constant presence. Everything about that movie just worked so well for me at that age. It was serious enough to feel dramatic and âgrown upâ, yet was stylized to capture its comic book roots that made colors pop and dialogue simple but memorable. Performances were the perfect balance of emotional and over-the-top fun, particularly Willem Dafoeâs turn as Norman Osborne/The Green Goblin, who remains one of my favorite villain performances in the superhero genre. It was action packed, awkwardly funny, and most of all, epic. It was the perfect storm of a movie for a young kid like me. I was such as a fan, I got a poster of a shot from the movie, signed by Spider-Man himself. By Spider-Man himself, of course, I mean whatever guy could fit in the generic Spidey costume at the comic sale I got the poster from. But I didnât care, it was Spider-Man. And quite frankly, I still donât care, evidenced by the fact the poster still hangs on my wall to this day.

From that point forward, movies became a constant interest throughout my childhood. My dadâs easy distraction for me on days off from school was putting on any Star Wars movie. I would read the TV Guide magazine to look for any movies I hadnât seen yet but had heard about from my dad, and then eagerly await the chance to watch them. Both my parents would tell me the stories of movies I shouldnât have been watching yet, like my dad telling me A Nightmare on Elm Street or my mom telling me Childâs Play as scary âcampfireâ stories. As a kid, I came up with and drew my own superheroes, inspired by my greatest hero Spider-Man, thinking up all the crazy and fun stories I could. And while I grew and began high school, meeting plenty of other people who had similar experiences as me, I gradually learned that the passion and interest was in more than the ideas of these stories, it was in the medium as well. I didnât just love superheroes, I loved superhero films. I didnât just enjoy watching movies because thatâs what kids did, I enjoyed them because they gave me new ideas, they taught me new concepts and virtues, and they made me think about what made the stories work so well.
It took me years to learn that those childhood memories and experiences translated to a love for cinema, for the art of filmmaking as a means to tell impactful, meaningful and entertaining stories. And like any person interested in movies, I pondered what I would be in the world of cinema, what I could offer to the art form. My own attempts at becoming part of the filmmaking process, despite my interest, have been few and far between, and inconsistent in quality at best. A friend and I tried conceiving and writing a comic book series in high school, utilizing all the creativity we had to draft interesting characters and stories. Long story short, we were woefully unprepared for the scope of such an endeavor. What else would be expected from a couple of fifteen-to-sixteen year olds with no writing experience?
I was fortunate enough to be able to take a course in screenwriting while I was in college, and I was proud to have finished my first complete draft of a full project: a 10-page short film. Rereading it now, itâs utter garbage, in my humblest opinion (hey, everyoneâs a critic, right?). Yet, the entire process of completing the draft gave me the foundation for how to conceive stories and write narratives. Where did that lead me? A number of unfinished drafts, premises, and story ladders buried in a small folder on my computer desktop. Not much to show for, to be honest. But each attempt, each idea, each failure is something new for me to learn from.
And now, in wanting to learn even more about film and my own views regarding film, I'm undertaking a new endeavor: movie criticism. I'm hoping to take a more discerning eye to the movies I watch and enjoy the process of finding the strengths and weaknesses, all the beauty, of filmmaking today.
So, we'll see how it goes!

I'm so sorry that it's been a lifetime since I reacted and posted a episode blog but I'm back now so lets going on with the episode
Michael and Maria đ
Scene goesđœ
It's nice to see everyone having a good time for a hot second. Max looks hot running without a shirt on I just need to Pause and look at him shirtless for a minuteđ€€. Love the way that Michael looks at Maria it's just something about it give me all the feels. Tess can heal like that come I mean if no level to Max is healing but still she could heal I wonder why Isabelle and Michael can't. Bizarre that Max just left nocito in his room when his parents could walk in at any moment however I don't think he was thinking logically to hide the body somewhere he was more thinking he has to warn his friends. It totally makes sense now Max was running instead of driving because Isabel had the car. Another is the question why wasn't Max at the party? I love how Michael jumped up and said I'll take care of it course Tess has to shoot him down for no reason at all, but he takes control anyway. Split Second I do feel sorry for Tess she just lost her father figure. A lot of pressure to put on max at this moment.
It looks like Kyle is coming back from football camp. I completely forgot he wasn't in the first episode. I think his dad completely forgot about him. I love how Kyle debauched nacidos name. Don't blame Kyle for being irritated right now. I completely understand where Michael is coming from they are sitting ducks in school right now but however what other plan do they really have if they don't go to school that's suspicious to. Of course a suspicious figure is following Max who else would this be figure be following. But Max has Spidey senses you can tell that something is following him. Now this is dumb Max to go and see what it is, and of course uses his powers. I think he talked his way out of that one.
Max is in a class without one of them other mean people because it seems like they all have class together each one of them is with someone else. New UFO old guy that runs the center seems fishy to me. I do not like him whatsoever or trust him just the way that he kicks Max out.
Vomit right now Max just happens to walk by Tess. Me yelling at him KEEP ON WALKING DONT STOP. I get the feeling that Tess doesn't like being on Earth. Maria trying to be such a good friend saying one thing and then looking out the window and seeing something else the opposite of what you're saying that's like getting crap thrown in your face. Why is it that when Michael says we are not human Max doesn't want to hear it however Tess says the same you can see the wheels turning in his head that he has a point. You can see that Tess is really pushing for Max to remember this other life. Why wasn't Tess door locked Max just walked right in. Question is why did they break into Tess's house and not one of the others? The real question is what are the skins looking for?
Valenti books weird sitting at the table doing bills like that then again this is back in the late 90s. Max and Tess should have knocked because it seems like they are trying to break in, however Valenti shouldnt of pointed the gun like that while opening up the door. He should have called out first. Why is Kyle acting like he's still at camp, he's acting really strange lately what did Camp do to him? I approve Kyle looks good without a shirt on too, how long with his Calvin Kleinđ. I do not like that Liz told congresswoman about agent Pierce wanting to break up with her that's lie doesn't sound believable. Whitaker is dumb to believe it.
There has to be a tie fitting between John FK what they're talking about and with Max. I don't think Max ever heard of the expression curiosity killed the cat. Not to be out all that Brody is just right behind him. Brody firing Max is a little suspicious I think then again Max was snooping around when he should have been.
I really like the way that Maria is grown-up look right now last season she was the nerdy boyish look this season she is confident and girly look. This is a way better look for her. I like that Maria is trying to be there for Liz. When you knock and someone doesn't respond, in or it open doesn't mean you open the door and walk in. Whitaker is totally playing with his right now it just have a feeling she 1 not really drunk she just needed Liz to spill out a name.
Tess shouldn't be in Kyle's room like that uninvited and in his clothes. Kyle and Tess could be a interesting combination. I completely understand where Kyle is coming from. Tess really lays it on thick, making him feel bad. But I understand where Tess is coming from too.
Where has Michael been I have not see him all episode. I'm so glad that we get to see him for a hot second. I am so proud of Michael that he standing up for himself I'm telling Max that he has to start listening to to him. It seems like Isabel can't make a decision. She never knows whose side to choose. That girl needs to get a backbone. Michael the dummy that he is never has a plan he just goes off of instincts. Of course it's going to knock Michael out whatever that beeping noises it's cuz he doesn't have a plan or come up with backup.
I'm so glad that Isabelle well finally told Maxx to shut she's starting to get a backbone. I agree with Isabelle Brody has to go. Surprisingly shocked that she said they kill him. What Isabel saying makes total logic cents something needs to be done Max needs to choose a side
I understand the JFK reference to Max present day. JFK was the leader he had two choices to make Max the leader he has choices to make. They are paralleling the two. I think that it's funny that the only person Max has to talk to you right now is Maria and Maria feels really uncomfortable. Maria was somewhat of a help.
I love the slow motion of them walking. I love Max is new power or he can just block people with a green glow. It's Upsetting that Max didn't tell his friends about his new ability. Max almost blew everything , Brody he's an oddball oh, I quite don't believe this whole abduction by alien but then again with this show you just never know. It's only Brody known that he is actually talking to one a them. The wonder that creepy Shadow thing comes and goes.
That was nice of Kyle to give his room to Tess even though she doesn't deserve it. I do not believe anything that Brody told Max. The new waitress hitting on Michael this cannot happen we have to make this stop. I like that Max is taking Maria's advice and doing something to show Liz that he's there for her. OMG the new waitresses the skin đČ. This is not good.
Well you guys the end of the episode I had fun I hope you had fun I'll see you on the other side.

In Case You Donât Live Forever - Chapter Three
Pairing: Peter Parker X Venom!reader
Warnings: none
Chapter One
Chapter Two
Masterlist
Peter arrived at the Avengers tower with a little pep in his step. His new neighbor was on his mind and he couldnât get her off. He had somehow managed not to completely blow it with her. He knew it was a long shot, after all theyâd only had one conversation, but he felt like there was a connection between them. She was awkward, he was awkward.
Oh wait no, thatâs whatâs on my mind.â Tony smirked. A blush painted Peters cheeks.
âNothing sir. Sorry, Iâll pay attention.â Peter answered quickly. Tony scanned Peter up and down.
âSo its a girl. Alright. Who is she?â Tony asked, motioning for Peter to sit down with him. Peters heart skipped a beat at the opportunity to talk about the girl he was so badly crushing on.
âThis girl moved in across the hall from me about a week ago. Thereâs just, thereâs something about her, man. I feel like Iâve always known her, and I donât even know her yet. She knocked on my door this morning and I nearly had a heart attack when I saw her through the peephole. I played dumb and acted like I didnât know she lived across the hall.â Peter started to explain. A twinge of embarrassment struck him at the memory of what he said to Y/N.
âOh God. You said something stupid, didnât you?â Tony inquired, noticing the look of embarrassment on Peters face as he recalled their conversation. Tony leaned on his hands like a child. This stuff excited him more than anything.
âI insulted her dead father and called him smelly.â Peter admitted. Tony laughed.
âBut she found it funny and agreed with me.â Peter quickly followed up. Tony looked impressed.
âWow. Normally Iâd say thereâs no coming back from that, but she seems like a keeper. So, are you gonna throw on your Spidey suit and take her for a ride around the city? Works with all the ladies.â Tony wiggled eyebrows. Peter shook his head.
âNo. Spider-Man isnât a party trick or some tactic to pick up girls. Plus, I want her to like me for me. Thatâs why I invited her over for dinner tonight.â Peter answered. Tony looked down at his hands, not wanting Peter to see how proud he was. He couldnât let Peter get too cocky.
âThat was a test and you passed. Alright, spider child, you have my blessing. But no funny business tonight. If I find out Iâm gonna have to design nanotech baby clothes, Iâm gonna be pissed.â Tony said. Peter blushed at the mere thought of what Tony was implying. He spent the rest of his time at the tower going over missions and training.
I arrived at Peters at 6:07. I was done getting ready at 5:45, and sat in the living room on my phone until I was slightly late. I didnât want to be early, like some loser. Or even worse, on time. I had to be fashionably, but not rudely, late.
I knocked on Peters door and waited. The door swung open instantly, as if heâd be waiting. I couldnât help but chuckle at the thought of him waiting for me. Peter mustâve read my mind. He turned red, must be a habit of his, and smiled.
âI know what youâre thinking. Iâll let you decide if I was waiting at the door for you or if Iâm just really fast. â Peter said, breaking the ice. At least, he tried to. And kudos to him for trying. But I was drawing a blank on my part. I had no idea what to say. I was a reporter for crying out loud. I donât get tripped up on my words. But something about Peter Parker and that damn collared shirt rendered me unable to formulate a thought. All I could do was stand there and smile at him, like a Jackass. I felt like I was standing weirdly and I all the sudden had no idea where to put my hands. Do I leave them at my sides? That felt too stiff and soldier-like. But where else would they go? I was pretty sure every brain cell had left my body at that point.
âYou look nice.â Peter blurted, interrupting the awkward silence that had settled between us. Even he seemed surprised by his statement. I looked as nice as a lazy person who didnât fully unpack their clothes could look. I had on a casual grey dress that was made of some sort of t-shirt material. It was bunched in the front and hugged my figure nicely. My hair was in a loose bun with a few curls framing my face. Peter took in my appearance with what looked like approval. Then I noticed Peters gaze falling to my feet.
âConverse with a dress. Nice.â He commented. I felt my personality re-enter my body, finally.
âOh yeah. You know me. Quirky and cool and not like other girls.â I said sarcastically and attempted to flip my hair, but my dumbass forgot it was in a bun. I still made the hand motion and Peter seemed to get what I was going for. He laughed. I felt myself relax at the magical sound.
âYou look nice too. VeryâŠFreddie Benson.â I said. Freddie Benson? Who the hell makes an ICarly reference to compliment someone? This night was going downhill fast and I regretted ever knocking on his door.
âDude. Youâre tanking.â Venom said. I had to agree. This couldnât be going worse.
But lo and behold, Peters beautiful laugh filled my ears once again.
âThatâs what I was going for! My friend Ned always teases me for wearing sweaters and button downs but he just doesnât have the vision.â Peter said. We smiled at each other. Maybe this night wasnât gonna be so bad after all. He suddenly stepped aside and gestured inward.
âCome in. Dinners almost ready.â
Peters apartment looked just like mine, but much more homey. I saw his baby pictures on the wall, coupled with pictures of him and his parents through the years. Then I noticed a framed picture of a different couple on the coffee table. They resembled Peter but I didnât see them in any photos with him past the age of around 7. There was a candle next to the frame. I quickly looked away, not wanting to overstep.
âYou must be Y/N. Itâs very nice to meet you.â I heard a womanâs voice. I turned around and saw a young woman in high pants and a yellow tank top. I recognized her from the pictures with Peter.
âI am. Itâs very nice to meet you too Mrs. Parker.â I said politely and shook her hand. She smiled at me and fixed her glasses.
âPlease. Call me May.â She said.
âMay.â I repeated. Hm. If this was Aunt May, where were Peters parents?
Peter and I sat down while May finished preparing dinner. I offered to help, being the polite ass bitch that I am, but May insisted I sat down and waited. A plate of âmeatloafâ was placed in front of me soon enough. I use the term âmeatloafâ very loosely. It looked more like an old shriveled brain. Peter made eye contact with me and winked.
âItâs not as bad as it looks.â He whispered. I nodded and gave him a small smile. He glanced at May, who was busy pouring the drinks, before leaning in closer and whispering âitâs way worse.â
I kicked Peter under the table and he giggled, quickly masking the sound with a drink of water. Itâs a shame. I love that sound.
âSo, Y/N, where do you go to school?â May asked. I took a bite of meatloaf, nearly died, and swallowed before answering.
âIâm actually taking a gap year before I start at NYU in the fall.â I said. May nodded in approval.
âThatâs a very good school. I hadnât realized you were in college.â She said.
âY/N used to live in San Francisco.â Peter quipped. He smiled at me , proud of himself for remembering. May looked impressed.
âYea. I grew up here in Queens and moved to San Francisco to live with my fiancĂ©e last year. But I just moved back last week.â I said. Peter began choking on his water. May shot him a look.
âPeter. Manners.â She said sternly. He wipes his mouth after catching his breath.
âFiancĂ©e?â Was all he managed to say between coughs and sputters. Oh great. Time for this conversation.
âEx-fiancĂ©e. He broke off the engagement after I got him fired from his internship at a law firm.â I said sheepishly. I overshared, just a tad. Peter and May didnât seem put off by it though. Peter looked relieved more than anything.
âMay I ask how you got him fired?â May asked.
âWell, Iâm an investigative reporter, and my boyfriend Andy was studying to become a lawyer. Andy had some information pertaining to a case on the man who owned the Life Foundation. I was supposed to interview him about his rocket but he was a terrible, terrible guy, and I knew it. I looked at Andyâs classified files to find out more about him and found some things I wasnât supposed to. I confronted him about it in our interview and he ended up getting me and Andy fired in one day.â I recalled. It seemed like so long ago. I felt a coldness run through my bones at the memory. Mays eyes widened.
âI knew your name sounded familiar when Peter told me you moved in across the hall. You were the one that took Carlton Drake down, right?â She asked. I merely nodded. I hadnât heard his name in months. It still sent shivers down my spine. You donât forget a man who stabbed you after trying to kidnap you and take you to an alien planet.
âDidnât he die in his own rocket?â Peter asked.
âYea. I was there. Me andâŠmy friend.â I said, almost mentioning Venom.
âGosh I read that story forever ago. It was all over the news here. I remember Peter ranting to me that this young girl was straight out of high school and already taking down shady guys in San Francisco. You were obsessed with the article, remember Peter? Iâm pretty sure you hung it up. â May recalled. Peter, you guessed it, turned bright red.
âI just thought you were cool. Taking down bad guys and all at such a young age. It really inspired me.â Peter explained. He suddenly looked panicked, like he said too much. I blushed at his compliment.
âThank you Peter. How old are you anyway?â I asked.
â17. Iâll be 18 on August 10th.â He said proudly. âWhat about you?â He asked.
âHeâs legal.â Venom whispered. I couldnât even be mad at her. I was thinking the same thing.
âIâm 19.â I said. A smile crept across his face.
âAnd this fiancĂ©e, where is he now?â May asked. May wasnât blind to what was happening between her nephew and this new neighbor. She could sense his crush and knew he was dying to know more.
âI would very much also like to know that.â Peter said, almost robotically. He leaned in closer and stared at me while he awaited my answer.
âHeâs engaged again. Not to me this time though. Theyâre getting married this summer.â I said. It was the first time I said those words out loud. I didnât feel sad, like I thought I would. I didnât know how I felt. The smile that broke out on Peters face gave a clear indication on how he felt though.
âThatâs great. Like a barista, or a mailman or aâŠa neighbor.â Peter said. The last part came out very quietly. I almost didnât hear him. He looked up at me slowly. âIâm sorry that things didnât work out though. Between you and him, I mean. â Peter said honestly. I smiled at him.
âThanks. It was tough at first but, Iâm okay now. He wasnât the one.â I said. And I meant it too. May smiled.
âWhen you do find the one, youâll know. Your heart will whisper âitâs you, itâs always been you. Youâre the one Iâve been looking for.â At least, thatâs what my heart said when I met Ben. I just knew he was the one for me.â May said with a happy smile. I could see her eyes glistened behind her glasses. I did something rather bold. I put my hand on top of hers and squeezed. She gave off this loving motherly vibe that I had only read about in stories and seen in movies but never felt for myself. May gave me the warmest smile and squeezed my hand back.
âThatâs lovely May. Although, I always thought when you met the one, your heart wouldnât say that itâs been looking for that person. I always thought it would say âwelcome homeâ, or something like that. You know? Like, youâve always known them. I donât know though. Maybe Iâve just seen The Princess Bride one too many times.â I shrugged. May laughed.
âAh. Thatâs a classic in this household. Peter would refuse to go to bed without watching it.â May recalled. Peter didnât turn red this time. He only rolled his eyes.
âBecause itâs a cinematic masterpiece. Youâre trying to embarrass me by pointing out that even as a child I had impeccable taste? Oh please.â Peter sassed his Aunt. I laughed at his remark. May noticed the smile that broke out on Peters face when he succeeded in making their new neighbor laugh.
May looked at me for a while with a content smile on her face before saying âYeah. I suppose you do have good taste.â

this is how - stony
Written for @lightsonparkaveâ and set in a canon-divergent Post-Age of Ultron world. Letâs all just pretend Peter is already part of Tonyâs life. I played heavily with formatting and it works better on AO3, if thatâs your cuppa.
Read on AO3Â
~*~Â
Thereâs a tower, still. It stands tall and proud, even with the shattered glass and growing moss and the letters fallen from the side.Â
Itâs been years since anyone lived in the remains of the city, but thereâs a tower, and thereâs stories.Â
The world has always told stories of him
Code: Memory_error. Reset.Â
He listens to them, the whispers he can hear on the wind and singing on the wire strung âround the city and through it.Â
There are stories of heroes and monsters, of gods and men, of battles and victories and defeats.Â
He listens to the whispers and wonders if any of the stories are true.Â
~*~Â
Sometimes, he can hear voices in the tower.Â
Sometimes he hears his family laughing.
Code: Memory_error. Reset.Â
Not the voices on the wire, all codes and numbers moving so fast it can overwhelm him, sometimes. These voices are soft and high pitch, dry and amused, and real. Warm. He blinks and from the corners of the room, a metal arm moves, head swiveling to him.Â
Curious and waiting.Â
He closes his eyes and he watches.Â
~*~Â
There are two boys, living in the Tower.Â
They stay on the fourth floor, high enough to be clear of scavengers and animals, low enough thatÂ
whoever
Code: Memory_error. Reset.Â
whatever haunts the Tower will not be disturbed.Â
They call each other names--Sprocket and Spidey, sweetheart and darlinâ, Harley and Peter. He listens, creeps through the wires and walls, through the thousand eyes set into the walls, and he watches them, the way that move around each other, the way that Harley watches Peter with desperate, helpless longing. The way that Peter watches him back, quiet warm love.Â
âDo you think heâs here?â Harley asks, one night.Â
Who? Who are they looking for?
Code: Memory_error. Reset.Â
Peter smiles, and it looks like hope.Â
~*~Â
They whisper stories, when they curl together, sleepy puppies.Â
They whisper stories and they feel like his.
~*~Â
This is how the world ends:
With a fractured band of heroes and a furious world and a madman made of metal.Â
With a city falling and blood in your mouth and ashes on your fingers and the silk of strawberry red sliding limp through your grasp.Â
With a snarl and a fist thrown and an exhausted slump of shoulders and a desperate gamble, a needle biting into your skin.Â
This is how your world ends.Â
His voice, cutting through your terror and the code scrolling across your mind and the heat rebuilding your broken body, and his voice--his voice is still the same and painfulÂ
and beloved.Â
Code: Memory_error. Reset.Â
What did you do?Â
~*~Â
He listens.Â
He doesnât remember. Â
~*~Â
They stay.Â
They stay and they stay, and sometimes, they bring others in a blind man who sees too well a scarred man with swords a girl so brilliant she makes Harley scowl people who fill up the fourth floor with noise and laughter and life.
The others donât always stay--but Sprocket and Spidey, sweetheart and darlinâ, Harley and Peter never leave.Â
He watches, drifts through the wires and a thousand eyes and a robot with an arm that squeaks
âNo, stop, DUM-E, youâll hurt yourself,â
Code: Memory_error. Reset. Â
keeps him company, and fire burns in his veins.Â
He waits.Â
~*~Â
He watches the sun riseÂ
waiting for a sphinx smile and hot coffee
Code: Memory_error. Reset.Â
He listens to the thunder crashÂ
and watches the lighting, waiting for booming laughter.
Code: Memory_error. Reset.Â
He watches the boys with a dogÂ
while a blonde smiles, one-eyed dog grinning.
Code: Memory_error. Reset.Â
He turns in the empty workshopÂ
to where a shy man with slumped shoulders stands.
Code: Memory_error. Reset. Â
He rolls over in bedÂ
to a warm embrace and bright blue and a soft mouth smiling.
Code: Memory_error. Reset.Â
~*~Â
This is how his world ends:Â
A man steps into the tower, and he shivers.Â
~*~Â
This is how the world ends:Â
Gaps.Â
Faces frowning at you, hurt gleaming in endless blue. A dead body crumpled on the floor, neck snapped, long legs, expensive shoes. AI feeding you data, an endless stream of it and he doesnât know what it means.Â
A man standing across from you, his face twisted with something you donât understand. He wears a metal suit but he doesnât register as a threat.Â
He says, âPlease.âÂ
Rhodey says, âPeacock, please.â
Code: Memory_error. Reset.Â
A code. A code within the code, and you can burn it out.Â
This is how the world ends:Â
Gaps in the code. Thousands of bodies, metal and bloody, and millions of bodies, flesh and lifeless, and guilt clawing at your belly.Â
Gaps in the code. Angry eyes, and guilty touches and an empty place where someone should be.Â
Gaps in the code and bombs burning the world and someone saying a name.Â
âTony? You canât stay here. Please, shellhead.âÂ
Code: Memory_error. Reset.Â
Gaps in the code.Â
The world ended in those gaps.Â
~*~Â
âYou canât go there,â Harley says, and his voice is sharp and challenging and defensive.Â
He watches, through a thousand eyes and wire and walls, and FRIDAY whispers code in his ear.Â
âHe doesnât need to be protected from me,â the man says.Â
His hands are gentle on your skin and his lips are soft against your throat and you think he could kill you, so easily but you never needed to be protect from him.Â
Code: Memory_error. Reset.Â
âYou left him,â Peter says, vicious and small and he blinks.Â
There is no record of this man. No record of his leaving.Â
He frowns and Extremis frowns right back, furious code scrolling.Â
âI wonât leave him again,â the man says, earnest and sincere and terrifying.Â
~*~Â
The sun is setting and the lab is empty and a robot with a single arm tilts toward him, curious and dog-like. The sky is bright and clear and his bed is empty.Â
Why does that matter?Â
Code: Memory_error. Reset.Â
âHello, sweetheart,â the man murmurs and he blinks, and shivers. It tugs.Â
âSweetheart,â Steve murmured. He bit it into your skin, when he came.Â
Code: Memory_error. Reset.Â
Extremis is warm and lazy in his blood and a stranger stands in his tower, on the edge of a world that ended, and he doesnât know why.Â
But he thinks of Peter and Harley, laughing and sweet, and careful in his space.Â
He thinks of the empty code, the gaps where something should be.Â
âDo I know you?â he asks, and his voice is rusty and broken, a disused thing. Extremis warms and he can feel his throat healing.Â
âIâm Steve,â the blonde man says, and blue eyes smile.Â
âI love you,â Steve murmurs.Â
Code: Memory_error. Reset.Â
Override, Stark_Prime_Alpha_Gamma_Zero_Six_Beta.Â
Code: Recovery_memory_delete_files.Â
~*~Â
This is how the world begins:Â
A new code.Â
A smile that feels familiar.Â
Memories--memories and memories and memories, every fucking thing you forgot, everything you made yourself forget, and griefshamefury hot on itâs heels, and Steve--Steve catching you as you scramble, reach for Extremis, reach for anything.Â
Anything to make it stop.Â
He stops you.Â
He holds you.Â
And you remember.Â
~*~Â
He kisses you the first time in the rain.Â
He kisses you the first time in your bed.Â
He breathes your name, presses you into your dirty mattress, and make you remember.Â

Hi! Congrats Olive! That's amazing! đ„ please? Okay Part 1: Im an ISFJ/INFJ, 6w7 and 4w3(i know i know you are only suppose to have 1 but i swear Iâm both lol), And a slytherpuff! Straight female. I am very smiley and bubbly but am an introvert(or extroverted introvert) and can be super shy. I am extremely ambitious and loyal My friends call me optimistic and the happy one of the group but I actually suffer from chronic depression, OCD,  and major social anxiety.
Part 2: Also have abandonment issues due to my dad leaving. Can be overly emotional and sensitive. But I I love to laugh and find the positive in situations! Â I am a very determined person, if I want something I wonât stop trying until I psychically canât. When Im in expert in something I sometimes get a slight superiority complex, mainly when someone questions me on it, trying to work on that.Iâm a Christian and my faith is very important to me!
Part 3 I LOVE to cuddle and hold hands and hugs but innocent otherwise. I have danced and done theater my whole life and love it and being on stage so much but ultimately decided to into video editing. I LOVE broadway and musicals but canât sing for crap. I love pink and Disney(worked there twice) and nerdy stuff. Child at heart and old soul at the same time. Â Oh and for Disney, Marvel, and Harry Potter please! Thanks so much!
Disney:
I ship you with Flynn Rider!
alright, we already know that flynn has a secret soft side to him, and i 100% believe that you unlock it without trying, on like, the second time you meet flynn.
i want to say that you met flynn fairly early on in his life - when he first got out of the orphanage and was still a thief in training. he probably made some dashing rescue when you were cornered by some thugs, and you thanked him with some coin and maybe a dinner? who knows. both of you are young and neither of you well off financially, so you share what little you have. when he leaves, you noticed he let you keep your money. so heâs a gentleman, huh?
he continues to find reasons to stop by your village, his excuses getting increasingly worse over time. on all of his visits, flynn seems to have the mission of getting to know you better - and youâre not going to easily reveal your secrets. after all, a girlâs gotta look out for herself, doesnât she?
flynn learns that you are a very ambitious person with a lot of smarts that youâre proud of, and he likes your confidence - itâs something heâs had to build over a lifetime, so he loves the fact that it comes so easily to you.
he also loves your optimism. he used to have it, once, and itâs refreshing to find someone who truly and honestly believes in the world.
getting to know you is slow going, but it also takes time to get to know him, so fair is fair. and the more you learn about each other, the more you want him to stay. you, of course, know about his life on the run as a master thief, and he has hidden in your house plenty of times before.
whatâs most interesting about your relationship is that flynn talks about the future with you. you know what you want to do with your life and are working towards it with all the tenacity in the world. you are headed in one direction and nothing can stop you, and that inspires flynn and reminds him of himself. and both of you are going to do all you can.
(if you want to get some angst in this headcanon set, maybe your ambitions take you to the castle - maybe you want to be a healer or someone who offers intellectual council, idk. anyway, your ambitions put you in direct opposition of flynn, and the two of you probably have a few run ins. and while there isnât animosity and you always let him run free, there is a distance between the two of you. BUT, your time at court doesnât work out and you have to go back to your roots - to flynn.)Â
or! maybe youâre an actress in plays! you know that if you were, flynn would sneak into your shows to watch you and would leave you a single flower after your performance.Â
youâre relationship is a lot of fun! it involves a lot of sneaking around, a lot of stolen, soft moments, and then talks at the kitchen table, with the candle burning low and all the world between you two.
ugh, i just love this concept.
Marvel:
I ship you with Peter Parker!
you and peter are the sweetest couple ever, two nerds who probably had feelings for eachother for a long time, but were too shy and awkward to mention them.Â
since you mentioned video editing, can i propose the idea of you taking videos of spider-man, not knowing itâs peter? may i propose the idea of you making youtube videos about spider-man and kind of being his hype man in the early stages? may i suggest the idea that you are the reason why spider-man blew up online, and it stresses peter out to no end?
i really want peter to bring you into the fold and tell you that heâs spider-man because youâve been bringing him a lot of attention and have started making theory videos on who he is and how he got his powers, and the stress of you possibly figuring out and telling the whole world is literally killing him.
then you can work to steer the evidence away from peter and to someone else, lol.
alright, but back to basics - you and peter both have altruistic goals! peter wants to make a difference and you do, too. youâre both kind of quiet in your goals but work toward them with a fervor, and itâs good for both of you to find someone with so much drive and willingness.Â
also, the two of you are nerds! you can be nerds together! you would never have to hide your interests from peter and that is honestly such a relief. you definitely geek out over harry potter and all sorts of movies - youâre still trying to sell peter on paying attention to the full lore of star wars, but he really only listens for you and ned.
you both are a little sensitive, but you are able to work through that together. you both are unafraid to lean on the other and be vulnerable with each other, and thatâs an exceptional trait to have, so the fact that you employ it so early on is good.Â
peter, too, has that young at heart yet old soul vibe to him, and thatâs because heâs had to struggle in life. heâs lost a lot of people and is poor, all of which ages him (mcu peter doesnât really have this vibe, but other spideys do), and yet he is still a teenager! heâs still trying his best and wants to see the world! he has wonder in his eyes, and that makes him young again. you understand how he can be simultaneously both, which is good, because explaining that can be rough, and he also understand that in you. lots of mutual understanding is good for you - esp. since his life is so complicated, being spiderman.
oh! peter also loves watching bootl*gs of musicals with you. the two of you will hang out at his place, eating microwave popcorn while trying to enjoy the shaky video. peter talks a lot through movies, but itâs all good, because if you kiss his cheek, he gets flustered and goes very quiet for at least 10 minutes.
Harry Potter:
I ship you with Draco Malfoy!
okay, you gotta stick with me here, because i promise you i have some thoughts about this
i mostly get post-war vibes. i imagine the two of you didnât interact a lot at school, and if you did, it was in passing - partners in charms once or twice, nothing that could make the two of you especially hate each other later in life.
iâm going all out and saying you both work in the ministry - in the same or similar departments, both of you working late into the night. you, because of your ceaseless ambitions and draco because working clears his mind from all the horrors of his past.
it first starts out that the two of you pass by each other at night, almost shutting off the lights on the other because you thought you were alone. i imagine that draco approaches you first - he has a problem that you can help him solve, and heâs pleasantly surprised by your pride in what you know and the vehemence with which you state the facts. he didnât know you were so strong willed. it vaguely reminds him of himself, and thatâs where the interaction ends.
after that, though, heâs bridged the gap. now, heâll come over to you for advice on how to do some of his ministry work - youâre really good in a lot of areas, and youâre incredibly concise. when he comes over to your desk, you now ask him about some of your own challenging problems, and the two of you are work friends, now.
itâs a slow burn to end all slow burns, but eventually draco brings you a cup of tea/coffee/hot chocolate one winter's night when the two of you are working late - his way to say thank you for all of your help. heâs not used to this - reaching out and being nice, but you inspire it in him.
one night he helps you walk some paperwork back to your house - some work you still have to do over the holidays - and he offers his help, if you need it.
i imagine that you donât exactly want to call draco malfoy over to your apartment during the holidays, so you donât, but when you realize how far you are behind, you call him over on a saturday and the two of you work all day. itâs mindless filing, mostly, so the two of you have time to talk, if you want to. dracoâs pretty silent this whole time, but you are talkative and you eventually get him to crack. you talk about your earliest years at hogwarts. draco rolls his eyes at how dramatic he was and groans at some of his actions. (âremember when you made those ââpotter stinksâ buttons? you had a button press in the slytherin common room and gave them out to everyone. i canât believe snape let you keep a button press!â) the two of you have a lot of tea and you go to get lunch at a restaurant nearby, and when youâre walking back after your meal (where he laughed - actually laughed at something you said) he turns to you and sincerely apologizes for all that he was in his hogwarts years. and because there was never too much bad blood between you two, you shrug off his apology.
and it takes a lot of time for both of you to open up - and i mean a lot of time. you guys steadily become friends who tell each other everything, and itâs you who drags draco to parties with other school mates whom he reconciles with (although he still gives apologies to the main trio, quite often). because youâre a little more extroverted, you bring draco out of his shell while still being introverted in your activities.
you also take draco to your favorite muggle places - the theatre being one of them. i want to say that you go to see les mis or hadestown, because i feel like draco would actually really like those musicals. you also do a lot of movie watching, which draco loves. he gets to set aside his troubles for a few hours or so, and itâs nice.
a few more ideas - you teach draco to cook, you realise draco has a love for poetry and find it very sweet (but you lord it over him, of course), you gossip about your coworkers together, and you star gaze.
EVENTUALLY the two of you get together, and itâs just really sweet. dracoâs not big on pda, but he will always give you his arm, or he will hold your hand, and the love is in the gentle stares and soft smiles.
#2.5k celebration!#celebration#lxncelotships#i went off with your draco headcanons but i had some thoughtsâą

Edinburgh To Boston - Chapter 11 - Redux
Good evening all, Here is the next chapter of Edinburgh To Boston. I hope you all enjoy it. We met some old friends and a person oft-spoken of but never seen.
Chapter 12 is nearly done. It is in the revision stage then off to my lovely beta @curlsgetdemgurls whom without her, this would not exist. Many, many thanks Emma for everything.
As always, I look forward to your thoughts, comments, and respectful criticism.
Without further delay, I give you...
Edinburgh To Boston
Chapter 11
Redux
âRabbie, ye wee gomeral! Dinna stick yer brotherâs head in the snow, aye. He canna breathe in there.âÂ
Rabbie MacLennan was busy shoving his brother Daveyâs head deeper into a snowbank. At his grandmotherâs reprimand, he let go and ran off cackling to himself.
There must be something wrong with that boy, she thought. She hoped she wouldnât see him on one of those Most Wanted Shows when he grew up.
Davey freed himself from his frozen entombment and found himself covered head to toe in snow looking rather like a scrawny snowman. Shaking himself like a dog, he removed much of the fine flakes sticking to his hat, hair, face, and clothes.Â
âWait for me,â the lad called racing after his brother to see what other devilry they could stir up.
Maizie gave a long-suffering look toward her husband that said: Do something.
Harry, in the language of the long-married, returned the look, asking: Like what?
She glared back at him, I dinna ken. Theyâre your grandsons, do something.Â
Jamie and Claire observed the mayhem headed their way. They turned and looked at each other smiling.
âLass, itâs Harry and Maizie. I dinna think we would ever see them again.â
Jamie raised his arm waving it furiously loudly calling out, âmo charaid.â
âCome along a nighean,â he said laughing and pulled her along. He moved toward the elderly couple with a decided determination.
Harry looked up recognizing their acquaintances from the plane, took off his cap and began waving it in his own brand of frenetic gesticulations calling out, âHallo.â Â
âYe see who it âtis, my love? âTis the lad from the plane with his lass,â he said with a broad smile plastered across his face.
Smiling she began to wave as well. âSo âtis. They look happy, do they noâ?â
âAye, they do.â
The men reached each other and began the time-honored male ritual greeting composed of handshakes, hugging, and back pounding.
Observing this male disposition, it occurred to Claire that this habit of pummeling each other in a form of welcome might be the reason that men were impervious to superficial pain.
The ladies, however, greeted each other more genteelly, clasping each otherâs hands, kissing a cheek, and exchanging pleasantries.Â
Of course, it was just like men to wander off in pursuit of their own conversations while leaving the women to mind the store. This entailed clearing the snow off a bench for them to sit and keep a watchful eye on the two rapscallions. Bloody men.
âHow goes it, lad? Ye look happy and I might add so does the lass.â Harry cast a glance back toward Claire.
If it were possible, Jamieâs cold-reddened cheeks would have turned scarlet.
âWe, ah, talked, and found the truth between us. She, um, weel, she loves me as I do her. So, we are together,â he smiled so brightly it would have rivaled the sun. âI still dinna ken how ye were so certain about such things.â
âLaddie, it is as plain as the nose on yer face. A blind man could see that ye love each other and belong together. âTwas not hard at all. All ye two needed was a push in the right direction.â
Harry turned his eyes to gaze intently upon Jamie. His expression hardening like a stern schoolmaster about to chastise an errant student.
âRemember lad, she is a braw lassie, strong, capable, independent. Dinna underestimate her. But, she can be very fragile, delicate, and her heart, once given, can be easily broken. Take care of her, love her rightly and if ye do sae she will be yers forever.â
âAye, sir I will. Ye can trust me.â
A snowball whizzed by Harryâs hat, missing it by a fraction of an inch. He looked up and saw his grandson Rabbie hanging upside down, monkey-like from a tree. His younger brother stood below with a stockpile of frozen missiles.
âOi, ye wee scoundrels, what are ye about then?â Harry stormed toward the tree where the lads were. Jamie keeping pace brought up the rear as reinforcement.
Davey hopped up and down trying to get his brotherâs attention wanting him to pull him up into the tree and away from his Granddaâs grasp.Â
âJump Davey, jump.âÂ
Rabbie extended his hand as far as he could and with one final long stretch, he just managed to grasp his brotherâs hand. With a mighty pull, he brought Davey up and out of reach of his grandsire. The lads sat swinging their legs back and forth from their high perch enjoying the view of their frustrated and angry grandfather below.
âDo ye want them down?â
Harry snorted, âI do.â
âNow listen here, lads. Either ye come down or I come up. And ye willna like it if I do.â
âYer auld. Ye canna climb up trees,â said Rabbie with a smirk on his face.
âAye, I can. I climb trees, mountains, and rock walls.â
âAre ye Spideyman then?â asked wee Davey with a hopeful look on his face.
âNay, but I ken him.â
âYe do???!!!â The little boyâs eyes widened becoming positively goggle-eyed.Â
âAye, he came to the hospital where I work to visit with the sick bairns. He told me all his secrets for climbing. If ye come down, Iâll tell ye.â
Davey looked awestruck. Rabbie looked at Jamie with skepticism.
âI dinna believe ye,â he said eyes narrowed to slits and glared.
âI have pictures of Spider-Man and me. He taught me some of his spidey moves. I have a video too if ye want to see it.â
Davey was beside himself with excitement. Rabbie, however, more of a doubting Thomas required proof. The two laddies were busy trying to scramble down the tree. Rabbie older and bigger pushed his way forward wanting to be first.Â
Davey had another idea. He hung down from the branch by his fingertips, âCatch me, Grandda,â and let go dropping five feet straight down.Â
Harry ran forward hoping he would be in time to catch the rascal and not drop him. Jamie got there before Harry, opened his arms and caught the boy in the nick of time, saving him from serious injury.Â
âLad, do ye noâ ken that ye weigh as much as a good draft horse when ye fall from that height? Ye nearly broke my back.â
The wean laughed, âCan I see the pictures now, please?â
He set the child down, pulled out his phone and scrolled through the pictures. The lads were enamored by them and began acting out the poses they saw.
Jamie Fraser had convinced a friend to dress up as Spider-Man and come to entertain the children. He posed, signed autographs, took pictures, and gave out little gifts. At the end of the wee party, a spectacular Spider-Man cake was rolled out and happily and messily consumed by all.
Each year Dr. Fraser planned a different event for the children. Wherever he worked or trained he would manage to beg or borrow, cajole or arm-twist enough money to plan a wee party for the weans. All done in memory of his brother Willie. The children broke his heart. For some, the hospital was their home, for others they would never leave it.  Some of the lucky ones would get well enough to live their lives but not without experiencing more than any child should have to.
Claire and Maizie sat on the bench talking of this and that while keeping a watchful eye on their men.
âAre ye happy then, lass?â
Claire looked up first to Jamie then to Maizie.Â
âYes, very happy. Happier than I have been in a long time. Probably happier than I have ever been in my whole life.â
âAye, I thought so. I can see it in the way ye look at him. And in the way he looks at ye,â she chuckled softly.
âYer man, he is a Highlander, is he noâ?â
âYes, why do you ask?â
âWeel, they are proud men, strong of body and spirit, honorable to be sure, disciplined, loyal, courageous, patient and honest. Can ye handle a man like that lass? He can and will be a handful at times.â She looked at Claire searching her face for the truth. âOh, and did I mention stubborn? Once they have made up their minds, there is no turning them back.â
âHow do you know all this?â
âMy man is a Highlander too. It has been a bonnie life with him, never dull,â she chuckled. âI wouldna change him or the life I had with him for anything. He has been a challenge at times, but I set him straight,â Maizie said with a wink.
âOh, and one more thing lass, if ye dinna kent it yet. They have hearty appetites in bed!â
Claire opened her mouth to say something, thought better of it and shut it. She felt the heat of her embarrassment rising up her face.
âI see ye ken what I say is true,â she laughed heartily.Â
âWell I...ah, well, mmm, damn.â Claire flushed a lovely shade of pink.
âEnjoy his love for ye lass. âTis a blessing. I still do,â she said with a lascivious smile.
She looked up at the sky, seeing that the sun had begun to lower, checked the time on her watch.Â
ââTis late. I need to get my lads home, dry and fed.â
âHarry! Harry! Get the lads, âtis time we were going home.â
The boys and the menâs heads snapped up at the words going home. Â
âA leannan,â he said in his most silky voice, âthe lads are having such a good time. Might we be able to stay a little longer?â All four members of the male contingent shook their heads in unanimous agreement to this request.
âYe can have ten more minutes, then we must leave. âTwill be getting dark soon,â Maizie said with a shiver.
Claire had been watching Jaime play with the boys, roughhousing, laughing, throwing snowballs at each other, helping to build a snowman, and generally acting like one of the boys. Her hands went reflexively to her belly. He was meant to be a father, she thought. She worried if she couldnât give that gift to him would he hate her? Worse yet, would he leave her?
âDinna fash, lass. Yer time will come too,â she observed Claireâs hands protectively on her abdomen.
âI wasnât able to before with, with my ex-husband.â
âIf heâs yer ex, then perhaps it was for the best. Looking at yer lad there, I think things will be different this time.â
âI hope youâre right,â she said with a hopeful look on her face.
Looking toward the men hard at work making the most of the last few minutes of playtime, Maizie called out, âCome along lads, âtis time for our suppers.âÂ
The male heads rose up at the mention of food.
They bid farewell to each other, repeating the ceremonial handshakes, hugs, and backslaps. The boys were counseled to listen to their Mam, Da, Grannie, and Grandda, eat their vegetables as Jamie would be seeing Spider-man again when he got back to Scotland. Rabbie and Davey nodded their heads solemnly and promised to be on their best behavior and (Blah!) to eat their veggies too.Â
The women embraced, Claire, thanking Maizie for all her advice. She kissed her cheek softly and bid her goodbye.
âCome along Spider-Man, letâs get you back to the hotel and out of those wet clothes, shall we hmm?â
âWill ye help me out of my wet clothes then, mo ghrĂ dh? Iâm so cold and wet that I think my cock will snap off.â
âThat my dear would be a catastrophe,â Claire said with a smirk.
Jamie began to speak, instead, he wrinkled his nose, squeezed his eyes together, and let out a volley of sneezes. He began to sniffle.Â
âHmm, things seem more serious than I thought. Letâs get you back to the hotel and warm you up.â
âAye, sounds like a good idea. Will ye warm me then, Claire?â There was a twinkle in his eyes as Jamie waggled his eyebrows at her.
âMen!â she snickered.
**********
They lay nestled together in the twilight of sleep, neither fully awake nor fully asleep. Warm. Complete. Filled with love. His arms enclosed her. One hand cupping her breast while the other drew around her waist bringing her closer. A finger idly traced the slope of her breast coming to rest on a nipple. Stroking it lightly, it came alive under his touch hardening, rounding, wanting. Her arse settled fully in his groin wanting to eliminate any space between them.
âDoes it ever stop, the wanting you? Even when I've just left ye. I want you so much my chest feels tight and my fingers ache with wanting to touch ye again.âÂ
She wiggled closer feeling the effects of her movements against him.Â
âI want you too, always,â she mumbled sleepily.
His lips pressed soft tender kisses to her neck and felt her quiver.
He turned her onto her back raining a succession of heated kisses along her chin, chest, down the hollow between her breasts.
âMo nighean donn, I hunger for ye.â
He blazed passionate kisses down her body paying homage to her.
Reaching her navel, a distant grumbling sounded from within the depths of her abdomen.
Jamie startled, âSassenach, yer making wee noises, but noâ the ones I was hoping for.â
âHmmm, seems Iâm famished.â
âFor food?â
âMmhm. Itâs been a long time since breakfast and we did have a busy afternoon.â
âAye, we did.â He rested his head on her belly. âWould ye like me to order room service or would ye like to go to the restaurant?â He hoped sheâd pick room service.
âWell, I bought a new dress to wear for the last dinner at the conference. It would be a shame to not get to wear it.â
âAlright then, lass, the restaurant it is, but first I must have my dessert.â
********
Jamie sat on the end of the bed showered, shaved, and dressed in his charcoal grey suit, white shirt, and blue tie. He hummed a rhythmless tune while his foot tapped in a futile attempt to keep time. Taking out his phone, he idly scrolled through the news, and his social media accounts watching the videos of dogs and cats engaged in ridiculous antics.
His eyes drifted back toward the closed bathroom door wondering what was taking Claire so long. To save time they had showered together. He had soaped her up, sliding his hands over her slippery body becoming captivated with each curve, and rounded area of her body. Ah Dhia, that sweet fat arse of hers. He would never tire of fondling it. And what she did to him. Lathering him, she stroked him with her soft wee hand turning his legs to jello. Christ, the lass knew just how to⊠His pants were becoming uncomfortable. He stood up adjusted himself and walked to the bathroom door.
âClaire, are ye alright, lass?â
âI just need another few minutes, Jamie.â
Sheâs been in there for at least a half-hour. What takes women so long to get dressed?
He walked to the large window and watched the lights of Boston twinkle like fireflies on a warm summerâs night.
He heard the sound of the bathroom door open and Claire stepped out.
She was a vision in red. The dress was floor-length, long-sleeved with a high neckline. It hugged every curve of her body in a sensual way. Her hair was up with tiny tendrils draping around her face and neck. Her makeup lightly done except for the red lipstick accentuating the bow of her lips.
âDo you like it?â
He mouth opened and he gaped at her. His eyes sweeping over the sweet long lines of her body.Â
Her walk was sultry. Her hips swayed. She exuded sexuality. Jamie placed his hands on the swell of her hips. He swallowed, âYer beautiful, mo nighean donn.â She was mesmerizing. He could not wait to have her on his arm walking through the hotel and into the restaurant, the envy of every man there.
She lightly pressed her mouth on him leaving a trace of her scarlet kiss on his lips. Seductively she traced her thumb across his mouth erasing the crimson mark.Â
âClaire, I... â
She gave him a knowing smile, âLetâs go then.â
She turned to reach for her clutch and then he saw it. The dress was backless. The gown laid her bare from the nape of her neck to just above her gluteal cleft exposing the dimples of Venus on her back. It hugged her buttocks emphasizing the roundness, the fullness of her.
âSassenach! Yer noâ going downstairs like that are ye? Christ woman, I can see clear down yer arse.â
âNo, you canât. I had the sales girl take a video of me moving in all different directions in it and you canât see anything. I checked. Want to see?â She said smugly.
He didnât want to see and he didnât want any other man to see either. The woman would be the death of him.
Deciding to use another tactic, he inquired, âWonât ye be cold then? Would ye want my jacket, lass?â
âOh, youâre right, I forgot my wrap.â Walking over to the garment bag she took out a matching stole and wrapped it around herself.
âBetter?â she asked batting her eyelashes at him.
âNo! It only covers half of ye. Claire, ye canna go out like this,â he sputtered.
âHmm, I see itâs doubled.â She gave it a little shake to open it completely. She swirled the silken fabric around her back like a matador twirling his red cape in front of a snorting raging bull.
âIs it better now?â
The edge grazed the top of her natal cleft. Any movement she would make exposed her.
âAye, âtis better,â he conceded, âbut noâ by much.â Â
Seeing that Claire would not give up on going to the restaurant wearing that, that dress Jamie conceded defeat.Â
âMy Lady, may I have the honor of escorting ye to dinner?â He extended his arm offering it to her to take.
âI would be honored, my Laird.â She reached out placing her dainty hand in the crook of his elbow feeling him draw her close to him.
He hoped they would make it through dinner without incident.
**************
Brian Fraser looked at his youngest son, drooping and moping about over some lass who would not give the lad the time of day. To make matters worse, Jamie had seen the girl kissing another boy in a remote part of the school library. âLaddie, if the lass is noâ interested in ye, then mayhap she is not the one for ye. Pining away for her will noâ help.  Remember, be careful about what ye wish for, because ye may just get it. When ye find the right woman to love, ye will just ken it.â
Jamie Fraser got just what he had hoped for. Male heads turned as they walked into the restaurant. He was the envy of every man there and he didnât like it. In truth, what he didnât like was the way men looked at Claire. Some looked at her with a straightforward appreciation of her beauty while others leered at her with outright lust on their faces. It roused his jealousy and need to protect her. His eyes, a search beacon, swept across the sea of men on guard for any potential threat to her or her virtue. Being in love with Claire Beauchamp would not be easy.Â
Jamie so deep in his need to be on guard that he missed the way Claire looked at him. She was fully aware of how the women looked at him. He was beautiful. That fiery mane with soft curls at the nape, ocean blue eyes that you could drown in, broad back, lean muscular body, and his hands. Ahh, his hands. Hands that held her and played her body like a fine instrument. Stroking it, coaxing it making it crescendo. He is perfect in every way. And yet, he doesnât know it.
The ma߷tre d'hηtel seated them in a secluded area of the restaurant thanks to the generous bribe, er um, tip Jamie gave the man.
Finally, he felt he could relax. They were seated in at a cozy table for two away from the general traffic of the hotel.Â
The restaurant LâOrchidĂ©e was beautifully appointed. White and violet linens dressed the table while a napkin folded into the shape of a flower sat upon a gold charger awaiting their dinner choice. Candlelight created an intimate mood. Crystal goblets and wine glasses sparkled as they waited to be filled.
The Sommelier appeared suggesting wines to pair with their dinner. Jamie fluently speaking French ordered for them.
âAre ye happy, mo ghrĂ dh? I mean that we are together? Do I make ye happy?â He reached over picked up her hand and began to rub his thumb across her knuckles.
âHappier than I have ever been in my whole life. Do I make you happy?â she asked shyly.
He interlaced their fingers together, âSae happy.â He hesitated for the briefest of moments then continued, âMy heart has been yours since first we met. In truth, you hold my soul in your hands. I am yours, my Sassenach, body, and soul forever.â
The waiter came to serving their dinner. A lovely glazed salmon with a tomato romesco seasoned with garlic, almonds and spices, heirloom carrots and wild rice for Jamie. Claire chose roast chicken rich with a sauce of garlic, herbs, and butter, potato mille-feuille, summer squash with wild mushrooms. The Sommelier appeared pouring their wine selections and bid them bon appétit.
They ate and drank, savoring their meal as much as each otherâs company. They talked, laughed, touched, cast shy glances at each other, acting like lovers do.
Jamieâs other vice, besides whisky and Claire, was chocolate. A dessert of a triple chocolate mousse cake accompanied by a froth of whipped cream flavored with Frangelico and a scattering of crushed hazelnuts completed their meal. He insisted on feeding her. He cut off a piece of cake swirled it in the flavored cream offering it to her. She opened her mouth accepting the sweet morsel. Her mouth became coated with the intense taste of dark chocolate and fatty hazelnut whipped cream. An unctuous drop lingered on her lips. His finger swept across her mouth removing the offending particle. Her pink tongue peeked out and licked the tidbit from his finger.
He brought her hand to his mouth pressed a tender kiss to the palm of her hand. His breath warm and moist on her skin making her quiver and her heart flutter.Â
âMo chridhe,â he whispered huskily. âI need ye, Claire. I need ye sae bad.â He licked his lips looking at her with darkened wanting eyes.
Jamie was intent on his love and did not see the man approach.
âHello, Claire,â said a male voice with a cultured English accent.
Claire felt ice run up and down her spine. She knew that voice all too well.
She set her lips in a taut grim line. âHello, Frank.â

Loving Spider
Authorâs note: this was a one shot I made on ao3 I had decided to continue as a normal story. You can find the story here https://www.fanfiction.net/s/13138303/1/Loving-Spider. It is indeed a shameless plug.
It was after school and Marinette Dupain-Cheng was frustrated after what had been going on for about a week. Lila had gone back to her lies and everyone was buying them again, it led to her having to sit at the back while Lila got HER seat next to Adrien.
Of course she had gotten over her old crush on Adrien, but still the seat meant a lot to her as her friendship with Adrien helped her become more confident. But now it seemed like him and the whole class was against her.
Well Chloe, she had been dethroned as the one on top of Marinetteâs hate list. For how angry that Chloe had made her after all this time, it never made her so mad that she was in danger of being akumatized or turned the whole class against her!
âI know things are bad Marinette but they will get better, I promise, why donât you give Peter a call? That is bound to cheer you up!â Tikki suggested popping her head out of Marinetteâs bag. Marinetteâs eyes opened when she remembered that she had yet to call her long distance boyfriend Peter Parker.
They had met during the Summer when she had her parents had went on vacation to Queens, New York. She had met Peter who was a gifted science geek. She had gotten to know eachother especially when by accident they each discovered the otherâs secrets........
About one of them being like a spider and the other being like a ladybug.......
They agreed to keep eachotherâs secrets (it was embarrassing to her that all her hard work that she had her identity exposed to someone else). Peter was in actuality New Yorkâs costumed super powered crimefighter Spider-Man. They grew closer, Marinette even helped design his new suit with him to replace the homemade one he had been using before. They had by impulse kissed before they left. But they had been keeping in touch by email and phone calls.
Peter actually knew certain people who gave him someone to help him translate different languages. True as Spider-Man, he reminded her of Cat Noir but as Peter he was a loveable dork. Her parents and his Aunt May even remarked how similar they were. plus it was nice to have someone else to open up about having to keep secret being a superhero.
She got out her phone and started calling Peterâs number, she answered it and asked âHey Peter, how was Stanâs funeral?â she decided that she didnât want to let Peter know about her troubles and comfort him. The last email he had sent her told her that Stan, one of the neighbors of his apartment had passed away. he was a nice sweet old man who was filled with stories and advice for Peter when he came to him. The funeral would have taken place by now.
âIt was hard to say goodbye to Stan but we had eachother for comfort....... Sorry had to move there....... Still we are able to move on but guess what, on social media my Spidey account was contacted by someone from Insomniac Games and they want to talk about making me into a Game!â Peter told her a bit somberly but grew excited at the last bit.
NYCWallCrawler was the social media account that Peter had set up for his Spider-Man identity. It was becoming quite popular in New York.
Marinette was weirded out by the pauses but said nothing about it, she happily told him âwhen it comes out you can be sure I will be first in line at my local game store! Sorry Peter, can you hold for a second.........â Marinette sounded apologetic at the end when she saw that Alya and Nino were coming over towards her.
âMarinette, we have been giving this some thought and seeing how lonely you have been and how this has been affecting you.....â Alya told her and Marinette grew a smile waiting for the apology....
âWe forgive you.......â Nino finished and Marinette stood there opened mouthed hoping that she heard them wrong. âWe know that you just made a big mistake and overreacted from your jealousy, and you donât need to apologize girl..........â Alya told her with a smile reaching out her hand that Marinette angrily smacked away with her free hand to their shock.
âGood because I got nothing to apologize for! Some friends you all are, I thought I knew you all better than that to go along with this! Now if you excuse me, I have to get back to my call with someone far more worthy of my time and attention than false friends!â Marinette shouted to the shock of the two, the classmates who were nearby and Marinette herself.
She walked away and noticed to her horror that her hand with her phone was still near her shoulder. She then went back to her phone and heard a gasp making her groan realizing Peter heard her shout like that. She should have covered it....
âWow Marinette, what did Chloe do to get you this riled up this time?â Peter asked with concern making Marinette sigh.
âNo Peter, Chloe practically had nothing to do with it this time....â Marinette and she decided to explain everything to him.
âSorry to hear about that Marinette, from what you have told me I thought your friends were a great bunch that I wanted to meet myself..........â Peter told her apologetically and Marinette gave a sad smile.
âStill I have a great feeling that you will have a big surprise when you get home......â Peter told her cryptically before hanging up. She blinked and put away her phone in confusion.
âBig surprise, what does he mean?â Marinette asked Tikki and Tikki just shrugged, Marinette jsut began walking home. She was ignoring any classmates who tried to walk up to her.
She got home to see a huge crowd in front of her familyâs bakery; she saw Nadja Chamack trying to get closer and asked what was going on. âYou wonât believe it Marinette. Tony Stark is in Paris for a meeting and he brought an intern with him. A boy about her age and they are in your familyâs bakery right now!â Nadja told her excitedly and Marinette blinked in shock.
She then made her way through the crowd and entered through the door. She saw that at the counter was a smiling Tony Stark along with Peterâs Aunt May. She then saw looked to see Peter waving to her with a cheeky smile.
She then engulfed him in a hug, âTony came to me and my Aunt May about us coming over here on a trip, I have been having to keep a secret from you for some time so I can see your look on surprise.â Peter told her apologetically but Marinette didnât think much of it.
âMarinette, why donât you and Peter have some time to yourself and play a game in the living room.â suggested Marinetteâs father when Marinette let go of Peter. They went to the living room where Tom already had a games console set up.
They began getting to work playing some rounds of Ultimate Mecha Strike III, having fun. While playing they started talking about recent bad guys they fought and Peter was telling her about a She Ra cartoon he had been watching on Netflix. However her thoughts began drifting towards what had been happening to her recently.
âif you ask me III makes up for the disappointment that II was, the first game set up a high standard that they only managed to match with III...â Peter told Marinette only to see that she was growing a bit sad.
âIs this about the lying girl and the gullible classmates?â Peter asked in concern pausing the game to meet her in the eye.
âI still canât believe I allow my emotion to get an Akuma after me and I had snapped at Alya and Nino in the middle of our call....â Marinette told him feeling a bit ashamed in herself. Tikki came out when she was sure there was no one else about and gave Marinette a hug on the neck.
âThey were the ones who screwed up and everyone has their limits, even the most sweet Marinette.â Peter told her making her blush a bit. âPlus you said that you overreacted when you first saw her and her first lie, well that was another mistake and if they are still buying lies after that then itâs their fault for being gullible. I still have some citizens buying the whole âSpider-Man is a Menaceâ thing that Jameson spews on about.â Peter continued and Marinette just sighed once more.
âPlus I am not entirely honest myself, itâs not to get attention but i have to hide being Ladybug....â Marinette muttered but Peter picked up her head to meet him in the eyes.
âI know all about that, at least you jsut have to hide Tikki. I have to hide my outfit and equipment. Last time I had to hand wash my suit, my excuse to Aunt May was that I was washing the American flag....â Peter told her causing Marinette to laugh.
âLet yourself cool down Marinette and if they decide to keep being idiots then thatâs their fault. You are the amazing sweet girl I am proud to call my girlfriend, you are the one whose a gifted designer who won a contest by a famous designer and was chosen by a rock star to come up with his album cover.â Peter assured her and she smiled.
She then decided to put it out of her mind as she asked if they can continue playing the game. Peter then got an idea and grinned while asking if she would give her a minute. Marinette blinked in confusion but gave a nod.
Peter then got out his phone and went on his social media page and logged in as NYCWallCrawler. He then began typing away:
You want to know Spideyâs tailor? It was made for me by a visiting design student from Paris. Marinette Dupain-Cheng, she designed an album cover for Jagged Stone! She is going to be big one day!
He smirked as he posted it and went and unpaused the game after putting his phone away. Hopefully now more people will know how much better than Lila, Marinette is and hopefully she wonât try and kill him when she finds out.
