“I—” Yuuji swallows, his lips a hair’s breadth from yours, “I’ve never done, uh, this before.”

The air is thick—oppressive, even—with tension. You’re facing one another, curled up uncomfortably on a too-small couch, a movie on the TV that you stopped paying attention to as soon as it started.

He’s so close that you can count every freckle kissing his angular face, trace the crooked cant of his nose, spot the laughter lines that crease near his mouth. Yuuji brushes the seam of your petal-soft lips with a calloused thumb, letting out a dreamy sigh.

Your fingers weave through his cropped locks, strands the color of a furled sakura bud, waiting—nearly ready—to burst and bloom. His aurelian gaze seeps into your bones, time honey-slow. He’s sweet and eager and afraid; the fear tugs at his boyish features, making them twitch.

(You can’t help but wonder which god you appeased to be so lucky, resting here with Yuuji.)

“We don’t have to do anything if you don’t want to, Yuu. I’m happy to stay just like this; whatever you want, I want.”

His dark lashes flutter, his focus drifting from your mouth back up to your eyes. “I want you,” he rasps. “If you’ll have me. If you don’t mind, ah…helping.” Dappled cheeks radiating heat, he’s flushed from the tips of his ears down to his strong chest.

“There’s nothing you could ask for that I would say no to,” you chuckle, bumping your forehead against his.

Finally, your boyfriend graces you with his devastating smile—the one that rivals the radiance of the sunrise.

“Don’t tempt me, now,” he murmurs.

It burns, you think, suddenly feeling greedy. I want more.

Featherlight, your lips ghost his. It’s a prelude—not nearly enough to whet your appetite. But it’s a promise of something greater...

Perhaps, even, of something divine.

Finally did this !!! With Sora :) !! She’s one of my favs so I had to do her designs <33 The top row is more of ‘canon’ designs for her to me, so the graphic novel and wiki design’s + Liighty’s design will always prevail as the Sora I think of when reading the books lmao
