the injury to his legs plus having his life force drained left him unable to do a lot of things that a partner might want, but he doesn't exactly plan to have a typical life anyway, he's perfect for the job that life has given him

he knows all too well that his Tendo path is very attractive and that people lust over him left and right

and he's vaguely amused by everyone who looks at his public Pain persona and imagines that he must be the kinkiest man in the world, if only they knew what those piercings actually do

they can think whatever they want, look all they want, but that body is taboo

ranpo already knew, obviously. if you didn't open up to them when they brought you there? no need - ranpo pretty much stalked you and found out pretty much everything about you before you even knew you were going to be living with him!

of course, you always smiled at them and declined. sometimes, ranpo and poe just insisted, and you gave in, allowing them to pay for what you bought. it was just so nice of them! at first you thought nothing of it, maybe it was just the couple wanting to do something nice for a teenager who barely had enough to pay for their bag? but as it kept happening, you got confused, and began to think a bit more. you even asked them at one point, but the taller of the couple just waved his hand and spoke, "we just felt like it, don't worry."

-To go along with the last hc he only really shows what he really looks like in front of people he's really comfortable with

-He's either a really good or really bad flirt, it differs from day to day like one day he'll be like "Dang and I thought fire was hot" and the next he'll be like "You have very colorful eyes"

-He and Pixel have more of a sibling dynamic than anything else, people thought they were dating but they're both just like "Ew no that's my emotional support borhter/sister" (cause honestly in the show the last relativly romantic thing they did was in season three with the whole "comptable secen" and after that they're just kinda been buddies, like literally all hugs and fits bumps, it's honestly really sweet)

-He and Pixel dare each other on pretty much a daily basis to eat things that they really shouldn't, this ranges from small pieces of paper to literal glass, they do it purely to scare everyone else (I just learned it's Pixal btw, but I'm honestly not changing it I'm in too deep now)

-Zane often has trouble verbally displaying his emotions even when he has strong feelings about things, so most times it results in him doing something to show it whether it be stomping off, giving the silent treatment or just generally trying to display his emotions in other ways (the other ninja and co are pretty good at getting the signs)

-He has to be really cautious when freezing people because surprise surprise if you entrap someone in a full block of ice they WILL suffocate and die

-His power makes it so he can freeze or unfreeze most things so he could potentially freeze the water in someone's body, kinda like a water bender in avatar (cause honestly I feel like it would be more likely he had powers over temperatures since ice isn't really an element, but over time maybe people forgot what the power actually was, idk yo)

-He's probably stronger than your average person due to being a robot , not as strong as someone with super strength like Cole but still impressively strong

-He likes animated movies, and he's irritated by the notion they're only for kids

-He likes rock and metal music, in fact him and Cole share a lot of music taste and no one really understands how Zane likes that kind of music but they're not inclined to question it

-Lloyd has called him mom/dad on multiple occasions, he's honnored

-He never came out to anyone cause for him he just kinda existed and didn't really think much of it (for reference I'm a fan of the pan/trans hc's that I've seen around)

-He's the tallest member of the group and he's no allowed to join when they compare heights cause he towers over everyone with Nya being the closest

Zane's a plant mom, simple as that

-He has the coolest socks ever, like patterns colors you name it

-Ever since season 4 he's been terrified of loosing his memory cause it happened when he forgot his father than again in season 4 and so now he's terrified of loosing his memories again, in fact getting hit in the head or back (where his switch panel is if I'm remembering correctly) is something that stresses him out a whole bunch.

-Zane is literally the worst car driver ever, like seriously there's a reason he's always got a mech or the ship or literally anything other than a car

-He doesn't get hot or cold so it'll be the middle of the winter and he'll be wearing shorts

-Zane couldn't dance but Cole most definitely taught him

-He and Cole go on dates to museums cause Zane's a nerd and Cole's really nostalgic for it

In conclusion I think robot man deserves more love and affection and I have more head cannons for more of the characters cause this silly little ninja show has indeed become my hyper fixation.

“Trey,” Riddle suddenly said after he took a sip of the new tea that they had gotten: the mellow taste of apples, the sharp crack of cinnamon that followed soon after, and the sweetness of vanilla soothing the spice. Simple perfection. 

“Yes?” Trey glances at his Don, the man in the middle of cutting tarts for the both of them. 

“Where did you get this from?” He picks up his tea, staring down into the golden brew before taking another sip. 

Trey’s eyes crinkle at the edges as he smiles at him. “It’s good isn’t it? The person I got it from runs a very… special café.”

Riddle raises his eyebrow. “Special, how?”

A chuckle leaves the older man as he places the slice in front of him. “I’ll leave that up to your imagination, Don.”

Riddle pouted taking the plate. “That’s not an answer.”

Trey takes a sip of his tea, his gold eyes glinting with mischief. “I’m sending the newbies to go and pick some more up this afternoon if you’d like to accompany them?”

“Really?” Riddle’s eyes shine with excitement and curiosity. 

Trey nodded. 

When I say Ace and Deuce almost shit themselves upon hearing the Don Riddle Rosehearts was tagging along with them- they really did. Ace had to swallow down the scream of frustration because now he wasn’t going to be able to screw around at Prickle’s Café like he usually did. Deuce was already trying to gain composure and prove himself to the Don, psyching himself up to mentally battle with what was held inside the café.

Riddle was very confused with how they were acting as they made their way to the warm colored building: from him having to yell at them to slow down their walk and not rush to them both taking deep breaths a few times before opening the doors- it threw him for a loop (he was also rather surprised about just how close to their club you were; just a mere three blocks).

But when he stepped in, everything suddenly fell into place. 

It was a warm place, the interior a palette of warm browns, tans, and earthy greens; long, winding, clear tubes ran in between the tables and the floor, low enough that someone would trip on them and cages were built into the walls. All of them holding beady eyed Hedgehogs. 

He had to force down the squeal that threatened to escape him, his ears turning pink at the sheer effort of it (though Ace and Deuce were both busy fawning over the hedgehogs, who seemed to remember them, and scurried to meet them).

A bump at his boot startled Riddle and he looked down to see a little hedgehog attached to a set of wheels bumping around his feet. He couldn’t fight the smile that spread across his face at the little thing looking up at him with its nose wiggling at him. 

“Ah! Prickle! There you are!” Came a voice and he looked up to see you in a brown apron, a cute cartoon hedgehog peeking from the bottom of it. You’re quick to rush over and pick up the little guy and hold him, brushing through his quills with a toothbrush. “They run so fast, right? I barely looked away for a second when he bolted-” you look up from Prickle to look at the guest- “he must’ve heard you guys come in.”

Riddle’s mouth opens and closes like a fish out of water for a few moments before Ace slides in with a smug smile. “Yo, (Y/N).”

“We’re here for that order.” Deuce adds, a hedgehog in his hands, this one missing a front leg and an eye yet it's still crawling all over his large hands. 

“Oh! The apple cinnamon one, right? Let me go grab that for you.”

“I- ah- wh- what is this place?” Riddle wants to slap himself for stuttering but he can’t help the heat that flushes his cheeks a light pink as you turn back to him. 

“It’s a hedgehog café, boss.” Ace supplies, a smug smile on his face.

“A hedgehog sanctuary, honestly.” You add. “All these little guys are either from bad homes or just people who couldn’t take care of them any more. People can buy them and the supplies here if they get particularly attached to one. I just happen to sell teas and treats here too.”

He nods dumbly. So, this is what Trey meant by special.

You managed to get his name out of him after you got the order for them, and also convinced the three of them to try some of your baked goods as you had some new things you were trying out. 

Our boy Riddle was very excited to find out that you were an excellent baker.

He was even more excited to sit with the hedgehogs and play with them, becoming rather attached to a blind one as he milled about while they ate the sample of apple crumble you put in front of them. 

After you’re first meeting, Riddle would not shut the fuck up about your café or your hedgehogs. He would swing by there every time he had time, always in a disguise as to not bring attention to himself or your café. 

(Ace gives him shit for it all the time and is almost always on cleaning duty now because of it- he’s so fucking stupid I CAN’T-)

He ends up adopting the little blind one, naming him Tart, and he follows all of your instructions about taking care of Tart to the T. It’s low key ridiculous but you appreciate that he treats Tart so well (E X T R E M E L Y W E L L- that little guy is so pampered, he has his own room that’s been modified just for him in Riddle’s house). 

Riddle does keep you in the dark about what he does for a living, Ace and Deuce have been close to letting it slip, but Trey or Cater usually stop them before they do. 

Riddle has a tendency to buy a whole bunch of new toys and beds for the hedgehogs and he’s always willing to listen to you when you talk about them. 

Warning: will get so fucking pissed about some of the stories you tell him, he’s swore that he’ll protect all these hogs if it’s the last thing he does.

Riddle finds Prickle’s Café to be a soothing balm for the type of work he does. It’s precious, really. Absolute baby about it.

man was already up, having just came off his phone and laying like this 😐 in bed as he either waited for himself to fall asleep or was thinking about an awkward interaction he had earlier that day 

anyway, as soon as you turned to him like ‘tsukki, do you wanna come with me to get ice-cream?’

he was suddenly 😴 fast asleep, fake snores and all

you were stubborn though, so you hopped out of bed up to go get ice-cream by yourself if he was just going to ignore you 

although, once you threw your coat on, tsukishima decided to start questioning your unusual behaviour, ‘why do you want ice-cream? it’s night; can’t you just sleep like a normal person and have ice-cream in the morning?’ 

honestly, tsukishima probably finds your nightly antics more endearing and cute rather than annoying 

he’d never admit it though- 

if you talk to him after midnight, on the outside he always looks displeased but really, he loves talking to you period

whether it is at 5PM or 1AM

you shrugged, without an explanation for your craving, ‘i don’t need to reason my midnight urges to you.’

with that, you turned on your heels to head out the door with the full intention of going to get ice-cream - this wasn’t a game 

tsukishima groaned as he finally deduced that you were being dead serious and not just doing this to irritate him

‘ugh, wait.’ he scoffed, forcing himself out of bed to follow you, ‘we have ice-cream downstairs, dumb-ass. don’t bother going out.’ 

you didn’t spare him a glance, continuing to venture to the front door, ‘yeah, but we don’t have strawberry.’ 

tsukishima glared at you, realising that persuasion would not work in this situation so he’d have to resort to brute force and trickery

‘ah, alright.’ he let out a sigh of defeat, ‘at least give us a hug before you go then.’

you paid no mind to how he referred to himself as plural, which is something he only does when he is lying or guilty as he is talking on behalf of his two faces 

also, you should’ve realised something was up when he actually asked for a hug instead of just expecting you to give him one

obliging, you wrapped him in a hug; allowing him to scoop you up into his arms, throw you over his shoulder and carry you to the kitchen

‘let me go, you whore!’  you squealed, lightly slapping his back as if that’d make him let you go 

tsukishima snickered at how childish you were being, ‘you can’t go out in the middle of the night to get ice-cream. you’ll die.’ 

‘i won’t die!’

‘you definitely will.’

anyway, he ends up making you both a bowl of ice-cream and eating it with you at the kitchen table while watching Spirited Away

and despite the fact he had some too, he’ll tease you about this for..the rest of your life 

like sometimes he’ll just wake you up in the middle of the night (during holidays ofc - he respects your sleep schedule) and whisper in your ear, ‘(y/n), do you wanna come get ice-cream with me?’

if feel like suga would be exactly like the guy in the sound/video: confused, tired and extremely reluctant but ofc inevitably he ends up standing outside of a dessert place, hand-in-hand with you

You’re really protective of him, since you’re very fond of him. When you hear someone trash talking him, you won’t hesitate to throw them in a bin

“Oh my god, (y/n) how many times do I have to tell you to stop doing that?” he’d scold you as he rubs his temples “But Riddle, they were speaking ill of you! How dare they! Talking trash about my favourite person, so I decided that it’ll be good if I dumped them in an actual trash can!” you huffed. 

Moments like this though, made him soften up a little for you, he didn’t show it though, cause if you knew that that made him happy, you would actually be more encouraged to do those things again. “Seriously, what am I to do with you,” he’d sigh and shake his head

Trey Clover

Trey is very good at handling you, it’s like handling a child

He really didn’t mind it, it amused him

Sometimes he’d get overwhelmed from it though, so he’d gently tell you to calm down a little

He always made you your favourite dessert, served with his special tea blend! He loved making you happy! But you felt like he always made you happy regardless

Trey always called you a good girl/boy if you calmed a little, and give you head pats

He gets really worried if you started acting brashly when you’re angry, so what he’d do is give you a butterfly hug (a method used to calm a person down) and made sure you breathed properly

“Sorry Trey, but they were bad mouthing you, I couldn’t let it go! I wish you didn’t do that to me so I can teach them a lesson,” you pouted. That made him chuckle a bit. “You see, (y/n), being violent could lead to something worse, and I don’t want anything bad happening to you,” he said gently as he rubbed your arm “You should really count to three before you act okay?” 

Cater Diamond

Dear lord, sometimes it could get tiring with you around so sometimes he would leave it to his clones

He’d try his best to avoid you, cause you knew which is the real Cater. How exactly? Well, you just knew

Oh but when you dress up eccentrically he’d take a picture and upload it on Magicam! And somehow it got pretty trendy, he knew what he was doing

Sometimes though he actually enjoyed hanging out with you, cause you were super eccentric, so he never got bored regarding the topics you talked about

During tea parties, he would sit with you! And you guys would gossip a lot, sometimes it got rlly funny and you couldn’t contain your laughter, so you laughed really loud and he’d close your mouth when people looked at the both of you

Cater didn’t mind people talking bad about him, well, atleast, he pretended to not care; which made you pissed when people were just being as*holes to him, purposely or not, and you just gave them a punch in the guts without any regrets. 

“Um, I guess I should say thank you? Oh but we totally gotta take a pic together, I won’t upload it though, its just a small memento,” and the both of you would casually take a selfie with the guys who messed around earlier on the ground, looking very much in pain

Ace Trappola

Phew, you guys would bicker everyday it gets worse when Grim is involved

Oh I think you guys would be the biggest headache combined, if you both weren’t fighting, you guys would sometimes gang up on teasing others

When you made stupid remarks he’d say “bro,,,,what IS going on in your head. I think about that every day,” you would look at him and giggle before pinching his nose “The fact that you’re thinking about me makes me kinda flattered,” and he’d pretend like he’s gagging

He won’t ever admit it but he really enjoys your company, if you weren’t there he’d ask your whereabouts

When he’s down, you’d always brighten up his moods by giving some random ass brain fart you thought of that day. It always worked, “you’re so weird, I’m getting worried,” he’d say but with a smile

Once he was picked on by a senior when you were there with him. Cause yknow he ‘bumped’ against that senior, and well the senior was like those typical “oH yoU bUmpEd me so aPologIse,” and obviously ace, being ace, was defending himself, which made that guy almost punch him but you just grabbed that dude’s arm and gave it a twist and threw him on the ground which came with a loud thud 

Ace smirked and gave you a high five and the both of you just left to wherever you guys were about to go and you guys kept on reenacting the scene otw

Deuce Spade

Deuce is very awkward around you, he didn’t know how to respond to your energy at first

But well people in NRC are all weird so this isn’t new, but he thinks the way you dress eccentrically is pretty cool

“Oh wow, where’d you get that fit? That’s pretty cool I’d be happy to wear something like that,”

Sometimes he unintentionally joins in your antics, then he suddenly realises that he has to act like an honour student

“Hey! We should probably start behaving. Jeez....I could’ve ruined my chance on being an honour student,” he’d clear his throat and return to his goody boy side “Aw c’mon Deuce, you’re no fun,” you’d tease him 

When he calls his mom you would always interfere him and embarrass himb

Ngl tho if the both of you were involved in a fight you’d partner up instead and scare those people away before they can even do stuff to the both of you 

Leona Kingscholar

He does not have the time and energy to deal with you honestly

Locks his room door before you can barge in

“Leona!!” *bangs door* “Open up, pretty please~” then you’d cackle

Groans all day long every time you bother him

But because he’s so used to you bothering him it’d be pretty weird if you didn’t show up sometimes, but he’d also be like “Good Lord, finally some silence,”

He was thankful though, there was this one time where you lost your sh*t when someone was insulting him for how he won’t ever be crown prince and you gave em a good whack plus a bunch of insults to feed em up

He started seeing you as a likeable person but definitely won’t admit it at all. He’s a tad bit tsundere but he got protective of you too and you’d tease him a lot regarding that

Malleus Draconia

He was kinda shocked at first how you easily just approached him, and you were very cheerful about it too!

Yours and his dynamic is the reserved one and the wild one, it was always a weird sight for people to see the both of you together

Oh people do be avoiding the both of you btw

Sebek would often scold you for acting such way towards Malleus and you would always just get on his nerves and the only way for the both of you to settle that is by Malleus’ words

“Well, I don’t really mind (y/n)’s company,” he’d say and you would stick your tongue out to Sebek who would mutter under his breath

You would always play tamagotchi with him together and compare each other’s, it would honestly go on for some time

There was a time when he saw you being violent and he’d be very shocked about it, so he used his magic to restrict you for a bit to calm you down, it was too strong for you so you ended up falling asleep from fatigue. He was very worried about you, so he took care of you the whole time you were asleep

Here we go:

Suki holds like. Almost all the brain cells. Yeah. She’s a good detective, what more needs to be said?

Katara has a bunch of brain cells too but since Suki is also fairly goofy Katara helps a lot by keeping everyone in check, being realistic, and looking for logical answers to questions. She’s the glue, sort of!

Aang gets scared sometimes but he always puts on a brave face and he’s sort of leader-like. He’ll run into danger willingly, and everyone thinks he’s crazy but also very brave (Katara LOVES that he’s brave but also DAMMIT AANG STOP THROWING YOURSELF INTO POSSIBLE DANGEROUS SITUATIONS)

Basically Aang is very Fred-like ig except he has about 207% more personality that Fred because, I’m sorry, but Fred is literally like a piece of white bread oml (none of this is based on the modern scooby-doo btw, bc I really know nothing about it except that it has weirder animation).

Toph calls everyone scaredy-cats and uses her awesome seeing through the floor abilities to predict threats and tell people when to be ready. She isn’t afraid of anything. Basically she’s just your everyday badass, end of story.

Here come THE BOYS™!!

Sokka and Zuko are disasters, but in very different ways (that’s basically they’re whole dynamic in canon too tho oop-).

Sokka gets scared pretty easily. He’s a good fighter and actually pretty smart at investigating, but when it comes to jumpscares or but scary monsters, he screams (and then proceeds to fight, albeit a bit reluctantly).

Sokka is also madly in love with Zuko.

Zuko isn’t scared very easily and he’s actually very sensible and a good detective too, but he isn’t very good at talking to people he likes or just people in general, because boy has trauma and touble socializing properly. But that’s okay!! His friends are there to help him :)

Zuko’s also very sarcastic and sometimes he’ll make a sarcastic comment but Sokka thinks he’s being serious and panics before being embarrassed that he believed it.

Zuko and Sokka pine after each other a lot and compliment each other all the time when they solve cases/decrypt a clue.

(He also wants his nephew to be with Sokka but believes that things that are meant to be happen naturally, and he doesn’t want to meddle with the universe’s ideas.)

Upon rereading tgcf, one of the biggest complaints I have is how lackluster all the extra chapters were. literally none of them were good and all contained rlly gross and harmful sentiments (like the amnesia one which.. yea.. or all the things implying xl should get pregnant for hc thus equating gay relationships with hetero ones and playing into the wife thing and just GOD I HATE MXTX) 

There were a lot of little plot points i wish that had been further elaborated on more in the extras as opposed to hualian being ... like that. I had enough. Like mdzs had actaully good extras (minus the incense burners) that were nice side stories that elaborated more on the characters. Like the hook one with the juniors was so cute and i loved seeing them grow more. Or the lotus pod extras omg.. im such a lotus pod extra stan. those were so cute and gave us a lot of good insight into just how lovestruck lwj was during the times when he didn’t see wwx. mxtx should've stuck to those sorta extras in tgcf but NOOO. SO I have a list of so many other more interesting things those chapters couldve been spent on like:

A resolution on He Xuan’s revenge and his character arc. Bc its implied He Xuan is still hanging out and watching over sqx and that taking revenge didn’t fully satisfy him bc ok.. yea shi wudu is dead but he xuans family will never come back. Now what does he have to live for?? i wish we couldve seen a look into his life during the entire ordeal. like a chapter from his perspective while he was posing as Ming Yi  and maybe a look at a conversation btw he xuan and the real ming yi or a chapter after SQX was banished to see what he’s doing now. Also what did he xuan owe hua cheng money for anyways?? Like ik not every little thing has to be explained but I Want to Know. PLEASE more goth boyfriend content now I just wanna see him :,((

a better resolution of yin yu and quan yizhens storyline. im still mad abt how that plot point was split btw books 3 and 5  when it was rlly out of place and  there were other more pressing plot matters and it just rlly deserved more time. Also i thought yin yu died!?!?!? but apparently one of the extras says he’s alive and man... i;m not reading any more of the extras to see that, give me a full yin yu and quan yizhen chapter.. fuck.

a day in the life of the guoshi fangxin or general hua PLEASE especially like one where hua cheng was SO CLOSE to meeting xie lian but had no clue that xie lian was there at the time but the two did smth that inadvertantly helped the other and they still were connected even though they hadnt met omg pls that’d be so nice. like imagine Hua cheng catching a glimpse of the guoshi in public in yong’an while he’s trying to follow some lead that points to xie lian or maybe following a lead to capture qi rong bc he said he knew qi rong was a part of the yong’an stuff and originally thought the guoshi was one of qi rongs pawns. like can you IMAGINE him getting so close. but at the last second he did smth small that impacted xie lian. like they bumped into eachother on the street or smth. god i’d go crazy

OR vice versa.. like a day in the life of the young ghost king hua cheng. Like again, one of my biggest issues was that hua cheng just knew everything and its never really explained how he got all of that info. like yes he’s been alive very long and has eyes and ppl working for him everywhere but like... how did he build that network?? I’d love to see a chapter of young ghost king hua cheng travelling around trying to learn as much as he can abt the world and how it can help bring him to xie lian. and the two maybe are in the same kingdom for a bit and they don’t meet exactly but hua cheng stops some fight or something and helps xie lian indirectly or maybe xie lian is performing on the street in some costume and hua cheng doesn’t recognize him and smiles and gives him a coin or smth. idk i’m just dying for any sorta extra chapter or fic like that. i’m honestly so tempted to write my own but i cant write

also!! we’ve seen how xie lian picks up people down on their luck near him and show them kindness (like banyue, lang ying, xiao ying, he tried to with san lang but we know how that ended lmao) so i’d love to see another little vignette of him doing that on his travels and how every person he meets teaches him smth about life and being a good person and idk, i just think it’d be rlly sweet. i love this facet of his character and feel like we didn’t see enough of it towards the end.

ALSO hua cheng only seems to respect one heavenly official besides xie lian and thats yushi huang.. i assume thats mostly bc she was the only one to help xie lian and let him use the rain master hat to bring water to yong’an. I was thinking maybe when he was a new supreme he had run into trouble and maybe was picked up by the rain master and helped him heal and in return he promised to help protect her village from harm in the future. Like i know a heavenly official wouldn’t cooperate with a ghost like that but yushi huang is different and doesn’t really care about the heavens so i think she would protect him if he could do something to benefit her village. ik this is kinda far fetched but when he first became a supreme I’m sure a bunch of ppl probably tried to mess with him and didn’t rlly believe him to be undefeatable bc he hadn’t proved himself yet also i doubt all his power came overnight. he had to learn how to use it once he escaped the kiln. and some group probably thought they could weaken him somehow. I’m thinking maybe a rlly well formed group of ghosts actually caught him off guard once and he had to retreat and was picked up by the rain master and stayed with her and learned from her a bit. i think it’d be a cool concept also i just rlly want more yushi huang content and i’m on their friendship agenda bc he rlly did seem to actually respect her when she first appeared and i think it’d be cool if the two had some history together.

Also idrc if this was addressed I couldve missed it But!! Did xie lian ever tell Hua cheng that the reason he got the curse shackles and was banished again in the first place wasnt bc jun wu wanted to punish him, but because he requested it. And specifically requested it bc he felt guilty abt letting wu ming take the human face disease and disperse for his sake. So he took the shackles and descended to atone for that?? Bc I dont recall hua cheng learning that bc his soul was already dispersed at that point so it didnt follow him and xie lian didnt say anything so uhhh... someone should tell hua cheng that. Like I dont think xie lian rlly said how much hua cheng meant to him and didnt show him he was loved in grand ways. Like xie lian did always care for bc in other ways but I think if hua cheng learned abt this on screen it wouldve been such a great moment and I'm rlly surprised mxtx didnt address this iirc!?!? Like imagine jun wu telling Hua cheng this in the kiln bc xie lian wouldnt say it himself. Imagine how cool that would be.

Also a small thing adding into the whole young ghost king Hua cheng stuff. Its implied and p much stated that hua cheng isnt his real name. That he likely doesnt have a real name bc his parents died? (It's not clear. I'm still mad at mxtx for not making his childhood clearer). So I'd like to see when and why hua cheng chose that name for himself. The new tgcf ending song kinda hints at its meaning with the lyrics "for you I'd fill a city of flowers" as xie lian is the flower wielding martial god so it's probably inspired by that. Also xie lian saved hua cheng from leaping off the city walls but I'd love to hear him say it bc the implication of his name didnt dawn on me for quite a bit and I dont know if everyone made the connection. Again I sure as hell didnt. So itd be cool to see a chapter that takes place in his past after just ascending as a supreme

Overall I rlly think tgcf had a lot more potential to be even better and a lot of that comes down to fleshing out the side characters and letting hualian have more of a storyline independent of one another. like i know the appeal and message of tgcf is that through love, people can overcome anything, but fuck man. i just wanna see what these two (mostly hua cheng) where like in the absence of each others presence. Part of what I really liked abt mdzs is that we got to see that longing develop btw wangxian when the two weren’t together and how they thought about each other and did things in thei others spirit bc they knew the other wouldve done the same thing. but whatever, mxtx was too consumed by her own unhealthy idea of what devotion and true love looks like but still. i rlly think the extras couldve helped the story be better rather than be fujoshi fuel that i try to bleach from my mind -_-

Asra feels a thrill of panic whenever they disappear into a crowd. Not because they’re prone to getting lost, but they’re prone for attracting trouble. To themselves or indirectly to others. There’s no workaround for this. Sometimes he just has to follow them and watch them do something wild and letting it ride out.

Is he worried? Of course. He lost them once already. That wasn’t their fault, the plague wrongfully took them, so he took them back. The idea of them in danger? He hates it. It puts a bitter taste in his mouth.

That’s not to say he that won’t join. Asra is closest to the Arcana that can represent mischief and wit; he loves a good harmless prank and fun shenanigans. So long as it’s harmless, or if some good-for-nothing idiot gets what they deserve.

It should be no surprise that when the apprentice gets seriously injured that Asra becomes fickle and panicky. Will do everything in his power to make sure they are okay, and if it’s something he cannot heal, he will bring them to Julian as fast as he can. Once they’re okay, once everything has been all said and done, expect him to scold them. Asra is so so patient with the apprentice but this is a line that they are crossing: why on earth would they purposefully put themselves in danger like that? Because it’s fun?

Give him a second. He needs to breathe.

Assure him that they’ll be more careful next time. He knows they’re bound to break that promise, but he feels better nonetheless.

There’s a saying that goes, “Trouble shared is trouble halved”. That is law in their relationship. Wherever they go, Portia and trouble follow. Except trouble isn’t halved. It’s doubled. Tripled….

Quadrupled.

People genuinely fear for their lives when the two of them are around. They’ve heard stories. One time, Portia and [F/N] were pregaming in Vesuvia and woke up in Nopal. There was that one time they said some pretty choice words to a bunch of mercenaries and Portia scared them off. How she did that, no one knows, but they ran with a tail between their legs and even sent the Countess an apology.

Nadia would ask the two of them to pipe the fuck down, but 1) she knows that she’d be asking for a lot, so she doesn’t bother and 2) it’s a good intimidation tactic, so… you know, why bother.

Everything is done in spades, then. It’s fun, it’s a thrill, and it’s a memory to share with the cutest girl in the world. The two of them can take a couple of bruises and scars, so it’s no big deal. Until they get really hurt, that is.

One day, they don’t come stumbling into Portia’s little cottage to tell her about their day at work. Weird, they would have told her beforehand, right? Oh well…

Imagine her surprise when one of the chamberlains has been sent to tell her that they broke their leg and how Julian has been treating to them in the palace. How it happened became a blur to her. Portia was already halfway out the door the moment their name and ‘broken leg’ was in the same sentence.

She’s angry. Sure, they do stupid shit together, but it’s stupid shit that isn’t borderline irresponsible. They’re an adult, they should know better! What the fuck did they even do, jump off a two story building for fun? Fuck off! Are you kidding her? Oh, they are so going to get an earful… The moment she sees them, she’ll… She’ll…

The moment she sees them, she bursts into tears.

“Are you okay?!” She blubbers, “a-are you okay? What are you, stupid? Going off like that and getting yourself hurt! You’re unbelievable!”

“I’m fine, Portia…”

She ignores that. She whips around to Julian and hisses, “Ilyushka, you better give them your best. Don’t you dare half-ass this unless you want to be the one on the bed, battered and broken.”

“Wh– Pasha, of course I will give them my best! I’m a little hurt you would think otherwise… But I know you. You’re just worried about your dear [F/N].” He leans over to [F/N] and whispers theatrically loudly on purpose, “Maybe it would be wise not to tell her that you were pushed and that’s how you broke your leg.”

Shit.

Julian grins.

And that’s the story of how Portia nearly went to jail.

Muriel finds the apprentice’s antics to be… endearing, sometimes. Seeing them grin widely before they jump off a cliff into a freezing cold lake? The loud whoop that leaves them, followed by laughter… Look, that’s not that bad. At least they’re safe. Anything that isn’t going to put them in danger and make them happy? Fine, whatever. He might even join their cliff-diving antics. What a treat for them. To see him surface the cold waters and rush his hand through his dark, wet hair… Nice.

Other antics, though? He’s going to have a panic attack. A magician as strong as them is a sight to see, but their power can be overwhelming sometimes. Summoning an entire yard of catnip that accidentally attracts not only hundreds of cats but other mythic beasts? Placing a stormcloud over someone’s head because they made a snide remark about him? Trying to see how many chilli chocolate cakes they can eat before they throw up? Climbing the palace walls all the way to the tippy top of the towers?????? For FUN????? He’s going to have a heart attack.

Thankfully, Muriel has had training™. He’s been friends with Asra for years. When he sees that glint of chaos in their eyes, he would gently grab the back of their shirt, shake his head, and grunt, “No”. Surprisingly, it’s very effective.

If the apprentice gets seriously injured, he would be so worried. Muriel would drop everything to rush them to Julian. Yes, Julian. He thinks that man is fucking silly and weird but he can’t just stand by and let them succumb to pain. Muriel would be quiet the whole time, but he would listen intently to Julian’s instructions. When Julian leaves them alone, he would just give them a half-glare half-pout.

It’s adorable.

But even more devastatingly adorable, “Just… stop hurting yourself… Please?” And there’s a desperate gleam in his green eyes, peering into theirs. His voice is so soft, so unlike his gruff tone, and pleading. It’s very effective.

Okie dokie, @whitmerule wanted to know my main ships/pairings and I knew I’d have to make a post dedicated to this at some point so here it is lol (also sorry this is so long). My “main” universe, which is what all of my main pairings are in, is based on the ‘98 film for the most part (although really all of my universes are based on the ‘98 film, just with alterations here and there). 

Edit: My preferences have changed somewhat, so I’ve edited this list to reflect my current feelings towards certain pairings. This means that I’ve deleted some pairings that I don’t like much anymore, and have added some new ones :). All of these ships are in no particular order btw.

Main Pairings:

Tuggoffelees 

-I know it’s super popular and there’s loads of content on them, but I still stan. I don’t love them AS much as I used to, but they were my first ship in this fandom, and therefore are still very important to me. 

Demebombastrap 

-In terms of individual pairings, I really like Demelurina and Bombastrap on their own, but I like them best all together. I used to be quite fond of Demestrap by itself, but I’ve gotten pretty tired of that ship over time personally (obviously nothing against people who like this pairing a lot, kudos to y’all who love Demestrap ^^), so I’m not that big a fan of them on their own anymore. In order of the individual pairings I like best: Demelurina first, Bombastrap second, and Demestrap not so much.

Skimblegus (Skimbleshanks/Asparagus Jr., NOT Gus the theatre cat, I see the two of them as separate characters in most productions).

Jellydots (Sweet lesbian grandmas <3).

Tumblejem 

-This is my self-projection asexual pairing, leave me alone lol. They give me bestie vibes and I love that for them <3.

-This is a bit of a rarepair, but it is one of my main ships, I see Teazer and Plato as platonic partners and Tori as their mutual gf. Alternatively, I like Victeazer and Platoria on their own as well, although I like Victeazer a bit more than Platoria, but I prefer them all together.

-No longer my main blog’s url, but they have their own blog now and therefore are still ridiculously important to me XD. This is my fave rarepair, and might also be even MORE of a self-projection asexual pairing for me than they were before. I’ll say it once, this is my ultimate comfort pairing. 

Plonzostrap (Plato/Alonzo/Munkustrap, alternatively, I like Alonzostrap and Plonzo on their own as well, although I haven’t put that much thought into Munklato on its own).

Platoricopat (Cats Zurich got me obsessed with this concept, and @whitmerule’s gifs are are just *chef’s kiss*).

George/Etcetera/Electra 

-I don’t really have a ship name for this, and also this particular pairing is very complicated and I’ll try to explain it as best I can. George and Etcetera are romantic partners, Etcetera and Electra are queer-platonic partners (I see Electra as aromantic), and George and Electra are platonic partners. This is technically a main pairing for me, but it’s sort of rare and complicated in its dynamics so I put it down here. Also, I adopted the hc that George is a Pollicle btw.

Oh and just as an aside, I also really like Elecctera and Etceorge on their own, but I probably slightly prefer Elecctera, I just love the queer-platonic besties vibes of them <3. 

Mungocavity (This is in a scenario where Macavity is less evil and more of a dumbass, but I really like this pairing. It would be one of my main pairings if my main universe Macavity wasn’t complete shit).  

Jemtoria

-One of my newer ships, I usually see Tori and Jem as being somewhat far apart in age, so this is in a scenario where Jem’s a bit aged up and Tori’s a bit aged down. I love everything about this pairing. Considering how much Jem and Tori interact with each other in the show, this ship has so much potential to me. They’re just so soft and they make me really happy <3. 

Tuggoffeleteazer

-Once upon time I didn’t think I’d ever ship Tugger or Misto with really anyone but each other, but times change. Initially, I got very interested in the idea of Rumpletugger (which I still quite like on it’s own), but then later became intrigued by the idea of Mistoteazer (and all the shenanigans they’d get up to, both being mischievous and chaotic), so of course this led to me just putting all three of them together XD. I love this trio so much, they just give “bestie vibes ONLY” type of energy, and feel like a super chaotic friend group, and that makes me really happy. 

Bombbella

-I’m not even sure how to explain what led me to becoming so attached to this ship XD. I had seen people mention it being a neat concept in passing, but I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone who actually truly ships them. I basically got into this ship through my “Jellicle leader Griz” au thing, which is an au where Griz is the oldest of Deuteronomy’s children and was expected to become the next Jellicle leader. She’s much younger in this au than how I typically see her, so the newer Griz design fits well in this scenario. I just got really into the idea of Griz and Bomba being tragic ex-lovers. 

They dated for a long time in their teens, broke up for a few years, and then got back together again when they had matured, and then Griz went and abandoned the tribe (as well as Bomba) to see the world and pursue her dream of being a star. Griz returned eventually, but the damage had been done, and Bomba was far from ready to forgive her. In the end though, she does forgive Griz, as does everyone else, but then Griz goes on to be reborn, and they miss their chance at happily being together. It’s just all in all a really fun concept for me to play around with, and has so much angst potential. 

Jellycass

-Not a new ship, quite the opposite actually. This is a ship that I usually don’t think much about (hence why it wasn’t here when I first made this list), but whenever I do, I always feel at peace inside lol. I can’t for the life of me find the post that got me into this ship (trust me, I have searched ALL over tumblr for it, I looked through both Jellylorum’s and Cassandra’s ENTIRE tags and still couldn’t find it), but I saw a post when I was first getting into the Cats fandom that talked about how Jelly and Cass would be this sort of “odd couple” that the tribe didn’t really understand, but clicked super well with each other for some reason. 

Even though I only ever saw that one post on them for a long time, I grew really attached to the ideas it presented for Jellycass. I like the age gap concept in particular, with my personal idea of it being Cass in her late twenties to early thirties, and Jelly being in her late thirties to early forties. It really heightens the “odd couple” energy of them, and I can see Cass getting along really well with someone older. Troika provides me all the rights for this ship <3. 

Some Extra Stuff:

Even though I like Platoria as an individual ship, and ship them to a degree, I’m not super interested in them. They’re a bit bland for me if I’m being honest. I like seeing them on my dash, but I won’t actively seek out content of them, so please don’t tag me in stuff surrounding them if you don’t mind (obviously this doesn’t apply to their poly equivalent). I used to include Demestrap in this section, but now I’m really not all that fond of them, I really only like them together in a poly scenario, like Demebombastrap or even Demelonzostrap. 

There’s a bunch of ships that I categorize as “I like it, but I don’t ship it,” and that’s where ships like Munkujerrie and Alonzoffelees fall. They’re ships that I enjoy as concepts, and that I would probably read fanfic about if given the opportunity (and like fanart of), but I don’t necessarily ship them. So you don’t need to tag me for them. 

The only ships that I just straight up don’t like, although I have nothing against people who like them, are Tuggerlurina, Mistoria, Skimbledots, and Jellygus, Tuggerlurina being the one I dislike the most. I just scroll past content of them if I see it on my dash, I thought I should probably list them here cause idk, might be useful to @whitmerule to know which ships I really don’t like. 

Note: I don’t see any of the characters I listed here as being biologically related, some people hc Deme and Bomba as sisters, or Etcetera and Electra as being twins, I don’t see this personally (In fact I have a whole bunch of family hcs that I’ll probably save for another post, if anyone even wants to read that lol). 

And now for my favorite 2019 movie pairings (which I also don’t see any of them as being biologically related), because they’re sort of relevant since I’m listing pairings and stuff so I feel like putting them here too:

2019 Movie Main Pairings

Mistoriastraps 

-This is the ONLY scenario where I like Misto and Tori together. I only like it when it’s in the 2019 movie, and only if it’s with Munk, those are my two requirements lol. I think Munktoria and Munkoffelees are really cute too, but I don’t care for them that much, I like them best all together.

Demandra (I see their relationship very differently in the movie, and I prefer their stage-show relationship, but as always, I love them). 

Tantojerrie 

-I know they don’t really interact in the movie, but I saw people talking about them as a ship on here, and I just think they’d be really cute. Technically Tanto is implied to be kitten age in the movie, but I imagine this as a post-movie, next Jellicle Ball type scenario. I see Tanto as being on the cusp of adulthood, where she’ll probably be an adult at the next Jellicle Ball, and I see Jerrie as being a very young adult, so they’re not far apart in my mind (plus I see Jellicles, being cats and all, aging differently than humans, so this isn’t as odd to me as it might be to other people).
