So about Crowyuan… I finally remembered to check to see if you had added more stuff to the AU and was pleasantly surprised!

I have a lot of thoughts but the reason I got enough confidence to send you an ask if because I realized that if “normal” Heavenly Demon’s sin is bloodlust/rage/anger and Crown Heavenly Demon’s sin is vanity/pride then this is could imply heavenly demons are created when they exhibit one of the 7 deadly sins (yes ik that’s Christian stuff, but considering how we’ve all agreed Airplane might’ve stolen from other cultures (like the Greeks) then surely he played around with the deadly sins at some point?)

So far we have Rage (Normal heavenly demons) and Pride (Crown Heavenly demons)? Is it possible that in the past or maybe in the future more heavenly demons will be created?

Sloth Heavenly Demons would be silly me thinks…

I'm glad that you decided to check out crowyuan once again, and I'd love to hear about your other thoughts as well!!!! :D I was actually also thinking about the seven deadly sins as well when I read about it, and I'm glad you brought it up! Let's think about the deadly sins for a second: Wrath, Pride, Greed, Envy, Lust, Sloth, Gluttony. We've obviously got Wrath n Pride all sorted, so what about the other ones? I think it'd be so fun for Shen Yuan to be reading up on ancient heavenly demons and just be thinking "yo, what the FUCK?!?! THESE ARE JUST THE SEVEN DEADLY SINS, SO UNORIGINAL!!" I think Sloth heavenly demons would be the chillest out of them all, lounging around in their castles and palaces - they would defend themselves with a sort of pheromone that makes people feel sluggish and lazy, so it would be impossible to actually attack them! Envy heavenly demons would be the most likely to start petty drama because they're jealous of what other people have, they're never satisfied with what they've got. ALSO ALSO, they are definitely absolute gossips - think like courtiers who know everything Greed heavenly demons would start wars because they want EVERYTHING. They will fight and bite to win - they're very aggressive and stubborn about anything (think Nie Mingjue but worse and more tyrannical) that they believe in. Lust heavenly demons are just. Come on. I like to think that they love and adore anything. They're entertainers by nature and they're obviously a bit slutty. But, we love them!!! WWOOOOO. They're definitely most likely to wear clothes like Sha Hualing. Gluttony heavenly demons are ones that I think are obsessed with ONE thing, and they crave everything from this one thing. That can be a person, or an item, or power, or anything!! It depends on the demon (for instance, Lan Wangji's gluttony thing would be Wei Wuxian.)

Love the contrast between the Americans’ “Apollo” and the Soviets’ “Sputnik.” You got the Americans naming their rocket after a Greek god trying to communicate the grandness and importance of this rocket. The greatest injustice ever faced is that I almost certainly started the still thriving "clown husbandry" tag on here, but any discussion about it (from a know your meme page to a youtube video with 500k views) says it's a joke of "unknown origin" or credited to this post, likely bouncing off of mine (which was actively circulating at the time with like 30k notes):

this is a poster i made for my call to action assignment in humanities! it's a bunch of basic and easy stretches for people who sit and work at a desk all day (me)

the idea is that you'd put the poster up above ur desk and do the stretches every 30 minutes or so,, the whole routine won't take more than about 6 minutes to complete and when done regularly it can prevent wrist, shoulder, neck and back pain! :)

all these stretches can be done while sitting (although i HIGHLY recommend you stand up and move around while taking a break from working)

Nothing will dispell the "the curtains were just blue" myth faster than writing something yourself, because the amount of pretentious symbolism i am putting in my silly little fanfics is ridiculous.
