@pompedia Burns Brightly [!] As much as Nathanaël wished to fight alongside Ladybug and Chat Noir, he didn’t feel he was ready yet. Still a new holder as Phénix Argent, he felt he needed more time to perfect himself before approaching them. If they found an akuma first, he wouldn’t interfere. However, if he discovered one first, he’d quickly subdue them, capturing them within his Blazing Bite and let Ladybug purify the demon. He made sure to stay out of sight each time they arrived and breathed easier once she fixed everything. As this happened a few times already, when he came across a new villain, he became faster at finding safe spots to transform and more efficient in rendering the threat useless.

Using his power, flames acted like a cage, immobilizing the afflicted. “Don’t bother moving.” Only as Phénix, did the usually shy man spoke with such stern authority. The akuma still struggled against the fiery retrains but was no going anywhere. “Ladybug will be here any moment and this will all be over for you.” He caught a faintest sound of something touching the ground behind but he paid no mind. The bird turned to go into hiding as routine but stopped upon seeing none other than the heroine herself. She have never gotten to the scene so soon before! He wasn’t ready to meet her yet! Panic set in as he froze, clearly surprise. [!]

people seriously pretending EEAAO is overrated suddenly bc it swept awards? it swept awards largely because it is very very very good. I cried like someone who's just had a religious revelation BOTH times I watched it bc it touched something raw and real and beautiful but it was also just very, very funny. everyone's performance kills and the concept is creative and interesting and doesn't distract from the emotional core. you guys are just contrarian.

The second D stands for DooowawawaWaaaah (ADHDers know what I mean)#Their conversation is such a knife twist in this flashback. WWX truly and genuinely does mean it when he says he wants to support JC #And that JC hopes for that too! Tragedies hit the hardest when you can feel the lost futures characters would have together #And I feel it here in this scene so painfully. There's complicated feelings between them but it wasn't what broke them apart.#The rumours and the twisted family dynamics that tried to pit them against each other likely wouldnt have worked.#It set the stage for JC to have an inferiority complex which then grows into his responsibility complex.#WWX even calls it out! That JC has to be the responsible one in the dynamic.#And it sucks to be in that unequal position with a sibling or a not-sibling.#You don't get the love *or* acknowledgement but you do get the pressure to be the 'better one' in the face of the other's misbehaviour.#But I digress. There was a world where they did became the twin heroes of yunmeng jiang and stayed together.#And we'll never see it. That world is gone now. And just like Lotus pier -even if they tried to rebuild it - they will never be the same.

I just love how Steve Harrington was supposed to be killed off after a couple of episodes but Joe Keery was so charming and so likable they rewrote the whole season and show to keep him alive like he really Darren Criss’d it. He is that bitch. He gave the Duffers the ol razzle dazzle and now he IS the show for most normies. My uncle who has never watched ST and doesn’t even have Netflix loves Steve on vibes alone. The people’s prince.
