Kama with kefir. Kama, or I guess talkkuna or talqan is a coarsely ground multi grain flour mix. Kefir is a thick, fermented dairy product. Mix them together just so and you have a moderately filling, pleasantly sour summer food. I love sour, fermented shit.

Endives rolled in ham. This one's Belgian. Endives aren't crucifers, but thwy gave a crunchy cabbage-y bitterness to them that I love, especially when it's tempered with fatty pork ham. Dunk that shit in a thick gravy and serve it wuth peasant style mashed milk potatoes (meaning not a smooth mash, just milk-infused, lazily crushed bunch of taters) and you'll cry happy tears while your cardiovascular system cries from cholesterol and carbs. Love it.

Finally, olives. Kalamata are fine, but I prefer lesser olivers in salty brine that are stuffed with either hot peppers or stinky cheeae. Again, I love fermented or briny food.

Bonus: anything from the cabbage family. Mustards, cabbages, anything, I'm a fiend.

Honourary mention: I make pretty awesome pelmeni. They're a simple food, and their nutritional value sucks nuts, but they satisfy your junk food craving. Khinkali are also good dumplings, although I am not a fan of dill because dill belongs in the cilantro family, and cilantro smells and tastes like stale piss to me, and so unfortunately most other plants in that family to too, but you gotta appreciate the 'sooup' that forms in a khinkal. And smother that shit in copious amounts of smetana. They're a chore to make even when you're swift with the dough and cutting out the shapes, but the reward, man.

Just watched the new Taeyong music video and it's. So much. There's so much going on. It's nice that sm did something a little different but it's a lot, esp. combined with the song. Shoutout to greasy gamer god tho. What are your thoughts on it in case you've watched it?

it sure is A Lot!!! i think there's a lot of joy in it and it's super clear that there was a vision that had zero interest in being factual (the knight being from the year 1800 cracked me UP slkfjglkdfjglksdfjg) and instead reveled in the spectacle of it all, which i will always appreciate. the styling is so interesting and taeyong has historically had a pretty good fashion eye, but it's most the 'character' outfits that stand out like mr knight and yetti. we never actually saw anything that was that interesting in the actual stage styling which was a big disappointment for me. i think it's likely that it was more a practical issue bc a lot of the outfits from both the mv and the concept photos were big on silhouette and those can be hard to dance in, but imo that doesnt mean the promo outfits gotta be boring typical hiphop-esque fare. you can do better.

personally it wasn't a super successful debut for me bc i don't really buy taeyong as a soloist in the same way as gd or dawn, who are very much what this debut is modelled off of. maybe it's bc both dawn and gd actually push/ed beyond convention with their styling even for promotions, or maybe its bc dawn is leagues ahead of taeyong as a dancer, idk. there's something about it that just doesn't click for me as something that was truly 'taeyong', yanno?

my chinese writing is really messy but it says “如我离世，我已毁灭我历史” it means "if i leave this world, i've already demolished my history" (the words for 'world' and 'history' are similar sounding)

the phrase came to me first, then the image idea popped into my head. honestly this was just a really quick doodle and i just smashed together a lot of random lighting to make it look cool, but it surprisingly works well! (i even stylized my signature for this >:3)

i recall reading this fic i once read that was about error killing himself after his work was done, leaving ink behind to be a husk, but ink was then picked up by another fandom. it was a fascinating short concept fic but it was nice.
