maaan it'd be so EASY for chaggie to end up with an adopted cannibal kid after the battle with heaven, tho
with Vaggie's past (and that being a Thing she can Charlie can talk about now), her having her big WAIT THIS IS EVIL IM BEING EVIL moment over a cannibal child she couldn't bring herself to kill....
add to that Charlie, who is now the DIRECT reason quite a few cannibals are Extra Super Dead, thanks to her inspiring them into battle with her song-
"Have you ever felt like you're willing to die-"
very rousing, maybe less fun for her to remember after some of them DID die-
oh hush y'all eat ppl im sure dying isn't the most shocking outcome of a night out that you can imagine
Charlie legit pitched facing final death as a "chance to travel" and "see more of hell" and she did it with a jolly song and dance and GOOD ON HER for getting a fighting force to protect the dream of sinners someday being redeemed! ....but yeah. kinda heavy for her to remember later on, i'd think
and Cannibal Town residents are so tight knit with each other that it's a literal PLOT POINT Charlie has to face off against- no way they don't have families, no way there weren't families broken up by the battle at the Hazbin Hotel- at Charlie's hotel
No way Charlie wouldn't feel guilty about and responsible as FUCK for any little cannibal kid who ended up orphaned as a result....
ahem
(is that kid wearing like frisbee on their head?? whatever. it looks kinda like a halo don't it. kinda ironic. isn't it)
Rosie would even have to SUGGEST anything! She's got a good read on Charlie now and she's 100% on board with Alastor's plans to "guide" Charlie (cough manipulate and use cough cough)
and what would make a better leverage point than introducing a little cannibal kid for Charlie to worry and feel guilty over? an ORPHANED cannibal kid. Orphaned by the same fight Charlie led the cannibals into. Orphaned when the kid's parents DIED fighting for Charlie
(great way for Charlie to always keep Cannibal Town in mind anyway. Good way to make sure she's protective of it)
but oh the irony if Rosie didn't even MEAN for chaggie to end up with the kid!
if Rosie DIDN'T fully understand- just how much Charlie would want to give a loving family and childhood to someone, when she herself had one and is now dealing (trying to deal) with all that crumbling away as an adult-
ALSO THO. IF. Hypothetically. the orphan was the same kid Vaggie spared. Like how many sinner kids are there in hell. Not too many running around. If it was the same kid. if Vaggie saw that
....if the kid saw her- or, no, even better- if when she tried talking quietly with them, and when they heard her voice like that they looked up at her suddenly like
cannibal kid: "...Go."
Vaggie: (instantly standing up) "Right, sorry- I'll go get Charlie, or- would you rather Rosie-" (stops) (looks down)
Vaggie: "...?"
cannibal kid: (is holding onto the end of her hair ribbon)
cannibal kid: (whispering) "Run."
cannibal kid: (hopefully) "Now...?"
Vaggie: "...you, remember?"
cannibal kid: (nods)
Vaggie: (slowly sits back down)
Vaggie: "Yeah, hey. That was... that was a thing, wasn't it. It's, been a while. Three years... didn't think you'd recognize me."
cannibal kid: "Didn't. Look different."
Vaggie: "The long hair, missing eye and missing wings is a lot of change, huh?"
cannibal kid: (shrugs) "You're happy." (sniffles) "It's different."
Vaggie: ".....well, Charlie's the one who did all that. She's, pretty great at that stuff. And she'd like make things different for you too now. If you want."
cannibal kid: "........if I stay at the hotel... can I play with Razzle every day? Not, not just when princess Charlie brings him over?"
Vaggie: "Kinda looks like your stuck with him either way to me. Maybe check he's getting enough air, stuffed down into your coat front like that?"
cannibal kid: (unbuttoning an air hole for Razzle) "But he belongs at the hotel, where Dazzle's murmur- marble- um- murder dial-"
Vaggie: "Memorial..?"
cannibal kid: "Where Dazzle's memorial is."
Vaggie: "If you're okay leaving Cannibal Town, you can belong there too."
cannibal kid: "I'm okay leaving town."
cannibal kid: (beat)
cannibal kid: "It's boring."
Vaggie: "Yeah well, the hotel is definitely not gonna be boring."
cannibal kid: "Does it get blown up EVERY week, or just on special occasions?"
Vaggie: "It sure felt like every week but we're trying to cut back."
cannibal kid: "Dang."
please imagine tho, Charlie seeing this sad orphan kid who won't talk to anyone, maybe even "hasn't so much as had a nibble on anyone, the poor little biter" according to Rosie, since being orphaned-
and the next time Charlie visits she brings RAZZLE
and she introduce the two of them, then stands back and watches her childhood plushy turned demon win over this kid SO FAST, disappearing into their tiny but fierce little hugs, getting them to share a donut with him, showing them how to do a little song and dance routine (one him, Charlie, and Dazzle used to do) bringing a bit of normalcy back to a kid who's parents are dead because of her-
Charlie thinking to herself, that the least she can do, really, is give this kid as many of the best parts of HER own childhood as she can
#hazbin hotel#charlie morningstar#vaggie#chaggie#rosie hazbin hotel#silly au#orphaned cannibal kid adoption shenanigans#i can give chaggie kids in so many silly ways that don't involve the normal one#but this one#could ALMOST work within canon???#XD

Things I Have Noticed/Remembered from my MCDiaries rewatch
I will be updating this as I continue my rewatch, currently everything listed is out of order, cause I've started writing this as I am on episode 64 of season 1 and I don't feel like fixing it to be in order, so sorry!
What the fuck was Garroth's "plan" he mentions to Zenix in the first episode 😭
Zenix seems to be younger then Garroth in Diaries, considering the way that Garroth talks about him, but I think in MyStreet, Zenix is either the same age or slightly older then Garroth, so far this is like, the only obvious age difference between the series (besides Travis and everyone else of course)
I forgot how entertaining Brendan's character is, he's far less annoying then I remembered
ZANE AS AN ACTUAL BAD PERSON, I LOVE HIM
I love Vylad, but I legit forgot how much he was in Diaries season 1, I thought he was in it far less
Currently at the stage of Diaries where there is no lgbt+ people, i'm very disappointed by this (we haven't even reached the queerbaiting)
KC's character is....not as bad (racist) as I was expecting, still not great though. I'm choosing to believe that KC is from Tu'lu and Maid Cafes are a thing there, and "Kawaii~Chan" is just a stage name for her work.
Y'all know how Cadenza went missing and she was actually turned into a chicken? Yeah, the way Hayden, Castor, & Laurance talk about her to Aphmau makes it sound like Cadenza is a small child. But then it turns out she's the same age, if not older, then Laurance and Aphmau.
Aphmau should've just made Joh and Hayden lovers, I'm so serious, it would make the whole Cadenza and Laurance being "close like siblings" in season 1 to I think actually being called as siblings in season 2 and in MyStreet a lot easier to understand and make a lot more sense.
Why does Kenmur have like, some sort of romance with all the girls from Meteli??? He was engaged to Sasha and is stated to have feelings for Cadenza.
I love when the episodes open from Sasha's POV, and she goes and talks to Gene and there's just no voices. I love having to pause to read what they're saying. (this point is sarcasm)
The way literally everyone reacted to learning Laurance was blind was....icky. Like, I understand Cadenza and Aphmau reacting as like "we need to find a way to bring his sight back", but the fact that it was literally EVERYONE who decided he needed to get his sight back was so weird.
I don't mind Laurance ACTUALLY getting his sight back, but I wish it was done differently. Like, personally, I'd have him like, have to wash his face with the water of the fountain of Lady Irene.
Emma & Corey, Dale & Molly, and Logan & Donna are very sweet couples.
After Zoey and KC were able to turn Cadenza back to her human form, Zoey mentions that she "recognizes Cadenza from somewhere", but I don't think this goes anywhere???? I'm assuming it was supposed to hint at like, Cadenza's backstory.
ngl, I kinda wish we got more of Zane and Kiki's relationship, I really wanna know what side of Zane Kiki actually saw.
Anyway, Kiki is currently expecting.
Nicole (my beloved) has showed up. I've decided I won't question the logic behind her iron fists being able to break bedrock, and instead say that her referencing her iron fists just made me think of Ace from One Piece and Natsu & Gajeel from Fairy Tail.
I COMPLETELY FORGOT ABOUT NICOLE'S FOX, ROXY, AND ABOUT THE WYVERNS IN GENERAL 😭
I need to mention that in one episode (before Aphmau went to Scaleswind and learned about Lady Irene), Garroth says to Aphmau "by the seven", which I think she was hurt, but the use of "by the seven" is similar to how the same phase would be used in Game of Thrones or to how irl lots of people say "oh my god", so I'm really wondering if there were originally supposed to be 7 Divine Warriors instead of 6.
The way when Aphmau found Levin and decided to keep him and Garroth IMMEDIATLY decided he would be Levin's father figure.
The way when Laurance found out that Aphmau had a kid, his response was to play with Levin and say to Aphmau "you didn't tell me you had this little buddle of joy/energy".
That's all for now, I'll like, update when I have more to add.

Just watched Apology Tour and I have some thoughts. Not very well formed as I'm fresh from having watched it, and I will need to rewatch as well, so this is more my initial impression and whether it lived up to what I'd hoped for.
Spoiler: yes and no
But for real, spoilers under the cut.
I'd seen a lot of that in the trailer for the rest of S2, but in context, the whole thing with Blitz saying he didn't want to be this way anymore? Did not see that as being said to Verosika.
It was obvious that she was the dumpee because otherwise why have the party? Stolas was right on the mark with that, telling Blitz right, you're so difficult to love that there's a whole ass party of broken hearted exes and it's held EVERY YEAR.
I was glad to see Blitz's eyes opened. I legit had tears in my eyes when his eyes got all shiny during Stolas' song. I'm glad Stolas finally laid it out for Blitz. I'm glad he used his fucking WORDS and left nothing to the imagination.
I'm glad Blitz slipped up and mentioned the first time Striker tried to kill him. I'm glad Stolas reacted as he did.
The way that Blitz started to reach out to touch Stolas, only to pull his hand back - yeah, I see the similarities with that episode of Ozzie's, even if Stolas' reaction wasn't to deliberately pull away, I think he would have. I am so happy he told Blitz what he wanted, after laying out the big grand rom com moment he wanted.*
Which I mean. That's what he was hoping for in Full Moon. We all know that.
I'm glad he was asked to dance. I'm glad he had someone show interest in him just because they enjoyed Stolas' song, and understood Stolas' heartbreak. I'm glad he got to dance with someone, no strings attached.
I'm glad Blitz was jealous. So so glad.
And Verosika is right, the best thing is to say "good for him; hope he gets laid" because as much as it kills me, Stolas has only been with Stella and Blitz ever in his life. Blitz has been fucking around all over the place while in this Thing with Stolas.
But I also kind of hoped for a grand gesture, even though I knew it would be the wrong thing to do, in the wrong time, where he jumped down there to announce his feelings for Stolas, in front of everyone.
I know it was better that he didn't, because he is too emotionally fragile in this moment, and Stolas deserves his time to see what life is like without Blitz.
*But I do hope Stolas gets his declaration in the rain. It doesn't have to be at the train station, but it has to be in the rain, damn it!
Blitz realizing what he lost is important.
That all said.
I hope when he does come back to Stolas, expressing that he wants there to be a THEM, that Stolas recognizes that maybe he was a little bit hasty in not giving Blitz a chance to talk. Whether at Stolas' place or at Verosika's party or whatever, just that he tells Blitz that he's had time to realize that maybe he was expecting a little too much.
I'm saying this all poorly. I'd love for Stolas to realize / recognize that he was being unrealistic with his expectations - and giving Blitz the perfect opening to give him exactly that.
Maybe a beautiful declaration at the train station, where he says his feelings and whatever, and then some ridiculous thing goes wrong. But he said the words Stolas needed to hear, and while Blitz is fucking pissed it didn't work out, it was perfect to Stolas, because it wasn't about the rain or the train station (again, Stolas still deserves that) - it was about Blitz trying to give Stolas what he wanted.
I would also like to see Stolas enjoying being a bachelor and all - (and of course we know there's still that whole thing with Octavia from the trailer about not loving Stella and loving Blitz instead) - but I do want him to see that the casual sex life is still not what he wants.
Should he date someone else? I think where he is, he shouldn't. Or at least, dating is fine, but not a relationship. He's not in a place where one would work, and I don't want this whole "what doesn't break us makes us stronger" bullshit for them.
Blitz sees that someone else finds Stolas hot, someone else can make Stolas blush.
Once again, Stolas is controlling the narrative and not giving Blitz a real chance to respond in a meaningful way.
Yeah yeah, when Blitz came back to talk to Stolas the next day, but ... it's still ... everything is still very fresh for both of them.
The party was amazing, and I am loving seeing Blitz's emotional journey, even if the ride is bumpy and those bumps hurt like a bitch.
(Side note: yay for the crystal working and for Blitz using it. You know that every time he touches that thing, he can't not think of Stolas. Wants to feel like he earned it... uh huh. I see you, Blitz, and that wounded heart you keep buried in your chest.)
#stolitz#helluva boss#helluva boss spoilers#apology tour#feel free to talk to me about them#stolitz support group#edited to add additional tag#because the whole 'stols' nickname thing#why is that so cute and such a gut punch at the same time

Hii hope im not bothering you but i saw that post you made about rs never intending for the rape subplot because she initially didn't put a trigger warning. I don't really agree with that reasoning tho because i don't think it's really a proof for that, authors often times forget to put triggers but that doesn't mean they don't recognize it for what it was. There's a horror webtoon i read where in one chapter someone gets assaulted and it's clearly shown like assault but the first version also never had a tw until people complained about it. Years ago when LO began there was less awareness for the necessity of tws so i think it was just rs not realizing she needed to put one? ofc it could rlly be retcon but i don't think her not initially putting a tw is proof of that..
Oh okay, so here's the thing, if it were just Rachel forgetting to put the trigger warning, then no, I wouldn't be so hard on her about it. I mean, I'd still be hard on her because that's a pretty bad thing to forget to do, but I wouldn't be assuming it was because she didn't know it was assault.
But it wasn't her just "forgetting" to put the trigger warning. Granted, I wasn't there personally, but according to the readers who were there at the time, she literally had her Discord explain to her why there needed to be a trigger warning for the assault episode. Not "there needs to be a trigger warning for the sake of your audience's comfort and safety" type explanation, I mean full on "there needs to be a trigger warning because that scene is assault, not just bad sex" explanation.
And honestly, the narrative that follows that scene tends to support this. From Persephone inviting Apollo into her room to try and reason with him, to the fact that she still hasn't personally addressed the assault outside of that initial Eros conversation and the one therapy episode despite that scene happening 5 years ago (but god knows we get plenty of takes from her friends who feel affected by what Apollo did, not the actual victim though) to Apollo flip-flopping between being a genuinely abusive and manipulative narcissist who does it intentionally and a flat out airheaded idiot who just doesn't have a clue. It really just feels like despite Rachel confirming it as an SA in the Eros episode back in S1, she's still treating it as a "one night stand gone sour" situation.
And we've seen her apply this same type of flippant "haha they just don't get along!" mindset to other characters who have been abusive to each other, such as Hades and Demeter (I'm still looking for the screenshot but there IS one out there of a fan in the FB group who theorized that Hades and Demeter had a romantic past only for Rachel to respond that they're "like coworkers at the staff party who can't get along", and yes, this was recent enough for us to be aware of what Hades actually did to Demeter) and also Hades and Minthe who we DO have a screenshot for:
(that top one aged like milk, oof)
Rachel has a bad habit of not putting trigger warnings even today, and it doesn't seem to be out of simple "forgetting", she legit just doesn't seem to understand why people ask for the trigger warnings that they do in the first place. She can't seem to conceptualize these types of topics outside of her own extremely limited perceptions. Sometimes she fixes it like with the Demeter "intervention" episode (Episode 230) other times she just leaves it as is despite it DESPERATELY needing a trigger warning like the Hera and Kronos flashback sequence in Episode 233.
This is the same person who didn't think sexism was "that bad" until she saw how her audience treated characters like Demeter... but she's literally the one instigating that behavior by constantly making her female characters the butt of abuse and mockery.
"I feel like female characters in general, people will be a little harsher on them and sometimes way harsher on them, and I used to be like.. before I started writing the story and like making a story I was like yeah, sexism is not that bad, and [now] I was like oh it's bad. It's quite bad [laughs], so like, I don't know, I feel like the female characters in the story don't get so much of a pass. But this isn't consistent across the board, it's not all the time"
It wouldn't be right of me to outright say that Rachel hasn't experienced any hardship in her life, but the fact that she seems this blind to violence towards women in any capacity definitely says a lot.
Anyways, that got really off topic so I'm hoping that answered your question. My belief in Rachel not knowing it was assault goes a lot further than just a forgotten trigger warning amounting to a brief "oopsie". And while I get the point of what you're saying about awareness around trigger warnings, I disagree that the awareness wasn't there, this was 2018 and trigger warnings aren't a new concept in media, they just went by another name until recently - viewer discretion is advised.
That said, if anyone who was there wants to speak up on the trigger warning incident, please, I'd welcome it. Bring me all the deets.

cw skin peeling/self harm
i found some dead skin and started obsessively picking at it and hurt real bad cuz i ended up going into live skin and I'm insane so I'm going to make this abt cod ghosts. (cracks nuckles but I don't do it right and have to pull my finger to make it crack)
i think hesh has ocd (just like me fr). he fixates on smth and absolutely loses it if it goes awry. him going after Rorke was certainly a choice that he made and I think its bcs he fixated on it and will jump at the chance to scratch that itch (murder). I saw a hc somewhere that he was a nail biter and now takes care of them alot which I agree w ! but I also think he replaced it w other obsessions like scratching, picking etc or even the act of taking care of his nails is his new compulsion.
and it gets like dangerous. alot of the time its fine elias is just like " wow ❤️ my son is so driven and cool and parents my other son bcs aye man I got shit to do" but his compulsions get him hurt through self harm. I have a compulsion when I hit myself in the thigh repeatedly and I think he does stuff like that. he has like a wound where he nicked himself shaving one time and its always open bcs he cannot ignore the urge to pick it or he will die.
-angel, I went shopping today and I am so achy and tired I have been playing ghosts since I got home
Skin pickers are HEARD on this page, I do it too. (But it's anxiety/hyperactivity driven.)
Hesh regularly gives himself pedicures as apart of the OCD+picking habit and has IMMACULATE hands which really pisses some people off because they can't make "Soft hands" jokes about the guy who regularly dips his toes into NML with no backup but his doggie and baby bro.
"my son is so driven and cool" Ignoring the mental illness again, Eli. (I don't actually think Elias ignores it I just think he's legit too dense to recognize the signs because he's like "Oh I do that. It's normal." while also being ill.)
I'd imagine it's like on his chin somewhere and people think he's just scratching his face a lot (Dog behavior; Werewolf allegations.) but nah the mutton chops just hide the scab. (Logan regularly forces him to put a band-aid on it and Hesh picks it off.)
"AY man I got shit to do" ppls I'm fucking crying
Ykw his ass would enjoy those pumice rocks with the silicone/acrylic paint on them so he can pick them all out. Not a guarantee to work but I can see him trying it. (Spends like three hours hunched over cleaning every crevice; Forgets it in his sock drawer immediately after because he can't be arsed to repaint it and then wait for it to dry.)
I hope you rest well, was shopping fun? The hypercfocus on gaming to recover from an outing is so real.

Am I the asshole for thinking a terrorist is cute?
OKAY SO HEAR. ME. OUT.
Basically there's this terrorist group (they're not officially recognized as terrorists, more like a private military company or whatever but, y'know, same thing) and there's this one guy there who fucking hates me but also he wants to kiss me SOOOOO MUCH. I'll call him E and like, yeah he's a threat to society or whatever but he's also like a sad wet rabbit that I'd find in a cardboard box during the rain. He's legit so pathetic and it's kinda endearing. I beat his ass on a weekly basis by now and I've been thinking maybe he's into me, and a few fights back I thought I was done for bc I wasn't fighting with all I had probably bc I underestimated how well E can fight due to how pathetic (complimentary) he is, and at one point he could have for sure just killed me but he didn't. I saw he got his blades ready (not like, a sword, no, that'd be one of his coworkers, E instead just has like, chainsaws on his feet or sumthn) but he didn't kill me.
So that was when I was sure that "oh this man desires me carnally huh" and so I changed a bit. On a later fight I got a bit too ballsy and started to just flirt with him and get closer, talking about how I noticed he let me live, how I wanted to make him whimper and kick him and crush him under my feet. Y'know, normal things like that. I ended up slamming my feet against the wall E was leaning into (the wall cracked and my feet hurt like hell but, hey, I couldn't mess up my act) and told him that he was cute, and ig that was the breaking point because he blue screened (literally cuz he's a cyborg kinda). Was actually worried I might've killed him for a sec there, genuinely. But yeah in the end he just kinda fainted I think. And his coworker (THIS is the one with the sword) was apparently watching the whole time bc the dude fell from a building and was laughing his ass off, and tbh I don't blame him, it was pretty funny.
So later on I ended up talking to one of my friends abt this and they seemed pretty off put by it and yeah thinking abt it, it does sound kinda fucked up of me. But hey, for a while now he's been fighting me in civilian-free areas so no innocents are getting injured. Maaaybe a few cops here and there died bc of him but tbh the average cop probably killed more innocent civilians this past week than he did in the past two months so, eh, who cares.
So anyway, am I the asshole?

It's honestly pretty fascinating seeing people make super definitive statements about the state of the show at the point you're watching and you going "I already passed that point and thought it was fine???". There's really a lot of "my circle of online friends all thought this, therefore everyone does" going on. For the record, I actually liked "Stranger Than Fan Fiction" and thought that was the one episode that justified Daring Do being real, but I totally get not liking it lol. Did you notice that it was a guest star episode? Quibble Pants is voiced by Patton Oswalt.
I DID recognize Patton Oswalt! I honestly think of him way more as a voice actor than a comedian because my first exposure to the dude was Ratatouille.
And yeah, the only episode I genuinely think is bad with no real parts I would ever wanna revisit is Daring Don't, but that's really it. Everything else is...fine at the worst! Literally, nothing has completely put me off the show before. Sometimes an episode just isn't for me, or it isn't as interesting as I'd like it to be, but like...that's the worst of it, for the most part. I'm generally pretty easy to please when it comes to episodes and everything I've watched so far has kinda led me to realize what a lot of fans think of as character assassinations on the writing team's part are...just usually the result of having to write a show for like 5 seasons for both kids and adults. Rainbow Dash can never be perfect because if every member of the main cast took every lesson to heart perfectly and forever, we wouldn't really even have stories past like Season 2. Sometimes characters just have to be flawed or dumb in moments to get a plot rolling. And honestly, I don't have a huge problem with that! Sometimes, I am fuckin' dumb and irritable even when I should know better, because I'm human. I don't think it's out of the question for cartoon characters in a show about relationships to act the same way on occasion.
Also, apparently the Wonderbolts episode of Season 6 was the hazing episode??? I literally could not see it while I was watching it. Hazing to me, is, like, forcing someone to do something embarrassing or demeaning on a level that can be legitimately emotionally and physically damaging; what the Wonderbolts did is what pretty much every athletic team I've ever been a part of did; you find something to joke around about at someone's expense, but you participate in that joke too. Everyone's the butt of the joke. Do I like that? Nah, I think it's kind of lame, and I would have preferred if the episode was about Dash admitting that the nickname was getting to her, but legit all I can really remember going down is Rainbow Dash not being acclimated to the Wonderbolt culture and then realizing no ill-will was meant by the crew, it's just something that they've done since forever. Once Rainbow is finally explained, she's pretty chill with it. I think it's kind of a lame moral, but I can see why the staff did it, and it's So Fucking Far from the hazing I've heard of in places like, I dunno, University of Washington that it hadn't even crossed my mind.

Like Buck, Shannon and Eddie would not be besties, so definitely agree with your take there. Truly if Shannon had lived and been featured a bit longer then it would have been her and Eddie trying to navigate the divorce and because you can’t have a Ryan Murphy show without drama it probably would have resulted in some other implosion, and I just don’t think Shannon was going to get to the point of being the mother that Chris needed and Eddie’s co-parent. So by extension Buck would of course be firmly supporting Eddie and Chris….legit he would be cordial at most to Shannon.
Bless you for seeing the bigger picture. <3 I think most of us can admit that the sudden focus on Eddie + Shannon's relationship in 6B was because, at the time that plan was decided on, the fate of the show still hung in the balance. Ofc Eddie has to look back on his relationship with fondness (*gag*) to show that he's looking for that "spark" again, that instant connection. And, agree with it or not - most don't - the show wanted him to feel optimistic after seeing Marisol again, which is a direct contrast to Bobby having to talk him into reaching out to Ana. (Another example of KR & co. changing the smallest of details to make it seem like this next time was meant to go differently...) But had Shannon lived? She would have gotten the same treatment as the other "outsider" parents until (as we saw in 6B) the story had to reach a conclusion. Tim has previously said that killing Shannon off allowed the writing staff to explore more of Eddie's story (the fighting arc, Buddie conflict, confessing to Bobby and the one therapy scene in 3A). This, along with the negative fan reaction that could have been swayed had she started to change by the end of the season, should have made it evident by now that there was no intention of making Shannon a better parent, or a better friend to Eddie, anytime soon. There's no drama in that. I have noticed that people get my feelings on Shannon twisted a lot (probably on purpose because I'm so disliked for...talking about my disability? ig?), but I think her characterization is good for tv. If you don't like her it's because you can recognize that she was written to be a bad mom. And those bad moms are walking among you irl! Some even live in the houses of people you know even if those people aren't telling you about it! For me and the handful of us who have actually experienced the type of upbringing this fandom saw on screen (*waves*) - and if we can be real about it, Tim went easy on her and Chris because it's a family show - the problem (the "discourse") occurs when people are earnestly co-signing her behavior because "shit, I'd probably leave, too" or repeating ableist opinions about how hard disability on the mother, *especially* while dragging parents for not understanding issues they can more easily relate to. (Yeah, we see all of it.) TL;DR Representation does not have to be positive for it to matter. It just needs to be real. And even if that reality only connects with one person, it still matters. Everyone has a story and no two stories are the same.

This weekend's gonna be busy-busy, so let's see if I can't make some solid progress on the volume for the week before it comes. Besides, there's rumor of a scene of Legato pathetically eating meat coming up soon, and I'm HERE for it.

Stream-of-consciousness thoughts for TriMax Vol. 2, Chapters 2-4 below.
Chapter 2: Resume Our Business
Ahahahahahahaha!!! I really shouldn't be laughing at these eating sound effects, but I am. Maybe I just like to know he's suffering.
Gods, I can't wait to see how Stampede tackles this whole mess. I'm giddy with anticipation for something that likely won't come up for 2-3 years.
Slurp it up, buddy. I can't believe Nightow let this drag on for SO MANY PAGES.
I genuinely think he's eating this way as a sort of penance. Buddy can force people to do things with his brain. He does NOT need to humiliate himself like this. But he done pissed off Knives, so his suffering must be great until he's back in his lord's graces.
They're all just watching him and being like, "Welp. Our boss has lost it."
The two of these I remember NOTHING about are Hoppered and Gray. Leonof scarred me in '98 (but that's a thing with me and puppetmaster-type characters, so....). Zazie's forgettable in '98 but a wonderful chaos creature in Stampede. I'm pretty sure Rai-Dei shows up in '98, but nothing about him stands out. And, of course, Midvalley, who has such an excellent introduction in '98.
Uhhhhh... insulting Knives in front of Legato (or even saying things that could be perceived as insults to Knives in front of Legato) isn't exactly a wise move. There are reasons I call Legato yandere.
Ooooh, this goes beyond insulting. Midvalley has balls. Probably shouldn't have hesitated, though.
Meanwhile, Legato's still like, "Omnomnomnomnom."
Yyyyyeaaaahhh, Midvalley really shouldn't have hesitated. Now he is a pretzel. Maybe Legato will be kind enough to spare him an extra iron maiden.
LOL, Legato saying this is hilarious because Knives implies Legato just made up their previous order without any input from Knives himself. Also, it's hilarious that he's still talking with food in his mouth. I know he can talk telepathically, but still.
Knives' plan sucks. I don't mean it's a bad plan. I mean it's terribly cruel.
Also, Knives' outfit is just... ridiculous here. I know he gets crap for wearing a snuggie (that's apparently made out of actual knives) in Stampede, but this is... also a lifestyle choice. I particularly like the spikes apparently through the torso there, like someone's run him through. I feel like there's a reason for that which I'm not quite grasping.
NO LEGATO IS LEGIT SPEAKING WITH HIS MOUTH FULL LOOK HE HAS THE MEAT IN HI MOUTH AND THE TEXT BUBBLE IS EVEN POINTING TO HIM FOR ONCE. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Ok, now that I just looked at it for however long it took to colorize the panel, I have to talk about the table. 'Cause I think it's notable that it starts out like this...
...and ends up like this.
Just... the contrast between how pristine and perfect it was to how much it's just a chaotic mess it's become. It was fit for a king before. Now, two of the drinks are spilled (and one is just... missing?), there are crumbs and God only knows what else EVERYWHERE, and the silverware that was laid out so carefully is just... gone. Gah, indeed.
Midvalley is taking this rather well, all things considered. I don't think I'd be as chill if I was being pretzel-ified.
Cut to: Vash eating a donut. Because Trigun.
Neither of these men are wearing helmets, which seems rather unsafe. Sand isn't that soft.
I like how Vash recognizes Wolfwood's annoyance enough to try, even though he knows he'll fail. Very Vash of him.
"Hi, I'm Vash the Stampede. I can drive the lost technology known as space ships, but motorcylces? Ohhhh, no. Count me OUT."
Wolfwood's dodginess is bringing out Vash's serious face. Gods, he's so babygirl here, though....
Wait, is this guy riding a SAND DRAGON???
Yep, that thing sure do say "Knives" on it. And what is that emerging from the dust? SOMETHING BAD, you say? Gasp! Shock!
LOL, Vash is doing his best to Japanese. Does the Japanese version of the manga specify that Rai-Dei is actually speaking in Nihongo? Or was this just kind of confusing?
Ohhh, check it out. This guy isn't even looking at Vash. He's looking at Wolfwood. I'm sure that's not significant and definitely not something Vash has already picked up on.
Vash has a lot of questions. As he should.
Wolfwood, on the other hand, presents a single and equally important one.
Man, WW knows NOTHING about his coworkers, does he?
LOL, his secret ability is roller skates. SUPER roller skates. Gods, this manga is so goofy sometimes.
Is... Vash parrying the sword with his gun??
Did Rai-Dei just parry bullets with his sword????
This whole scene is so samurai showdown. It's great. We just need Rai-Dei to start monologuing about his training and shouting out the names of his moves and we're set.
Wolfwood calling himself a bystander. LOL
Ohhhh, shit. He done told Vash they're going after his home. Now he has to deal with Angry Vash.
Actually, WW doesn't look too happy about this, either.
Why does this guy have 411 carved all over him?
So, this guy expects to die. Or has at least accepted it as a legitimate possible outcome.
Ah, there he goes talking about technique and all. And here I was afraid he wouldn't get around to it.
Ok, can we talk a bit about how he's wearing a FRINGED COWBOY VEST over his samurai gear? Seriously, this is a thing.
Chapter 3: Samurai Showdown
Wolfwood's hand going to the straps on the Punisher. He's genuinely considering interfering.
Aw, man. Rai-Dei noticed.
Geez, first this guy's like, "Vash, we're gonna go after the closest thing you have to family here." Then he's like, "I want to hunt you, Vash, because you're not human." He's definitely a master of "ways to piss off Vash quickly."
Guys, my heart is so full at WW's little inner monologue here. Especially how it stands in stark contrast to what Rai-Dei was saying on literally the previous page. He genuinely wants to help Vash. He says, "Just this once," but that's how it always starts, isn't it?
Vash is even more in tune with Wolfwood's little movements than Rai-Dei is. AND he seems to understand something fundamental about Rai-Dei. That's my babygirl. <3 <3 <3 Be safe out there, Vash.
In anime with Japanese-inspired fights, they often talk about sensing the other person's bloodlust. That makes Rai-Dei's thought here really stand out. Also, I can't get over the framing and how very samurai showdown this whole page feels.
Then, of course, the next page follows the showdown beats, having them move and the reaction shots without telling us which one hit his mark.
If anyone wants to translate "jigenzan ittou" for me, that would be hot. I can't even give it a try without the kanji.
I'm sorry, I'm not over the Super-Skates. You can put all the skulls on them you want, but they'll still be dumb.
Oh, good. I'm glad Rai-Dei actually told us what happened on the last spread. I genuinely would have never figured it out on my own.
Heh. Vash is never unarmed.
Wolfwood, you big idiot. That's not how Vash works! That's not how any of this works!!
The real question is, has Rai-Dei dodged his way through as many battles as Vash has dodged his way through?
Wait, did Vash put a grappling wire on his gun??
Yeah, Vash has had enough of your shit, sir. Time to call it quits. Maybe find some nice mountains to retire to.
Chapter 4: Wolfwood
Hmm, I WONDER what THIS chapter will be about? *cue high-pitched screeching*
I don't think it's the way of the sword specifically that's so fragile, Rai-Dei. It's more... the path of violence. Or maybe any path we're on. Blank ticket and all.
Ohhhhh, Rai-Dei saying he abandoned his humanity to be here when WW just noted in the last chapter that, while it seems like they've all become monsters, they're just humans. There's... there's something there, but I don't have the thoughts for it right now.
Attacking an enemy's back when you've already been beat? Dishonorable.
Ohhhh, shit. Yeah, dang, Wolfwood's lucky Vash only punched him. And with his flesh arm, too. This isn't gonna sit well.
Wolfwood's not taking any of Vash's crap.
Gunsword??? That's not very samurai-like, either.
This. This is Vash. This is the line the made reference to in Stampede ep. 12. As many times as he has to so he doesn't take away their chance to make a change for the better. Wolfwood doesn't get it yet. But Vash only punched him 'cause Wolfwood needs more chances, too.
Oof, this scene. I knew it was coming, but still. There's so much weight in Wolfwood's single word. He knows exactly what he's asking on multiple levels.
GoshDARNIT Wolfwood! I mean, I realize you probably don't put a lot of weight on your own life, but... you care about him this much??? *heart bursts*
Ugh, Vash's response. These boys are killing me. But it's so brave to hope, isn't it? So brave to hold out for it even in the darkest times. Vash looks so sad for Wolfwood. He calls him a coward, but there's no malice here. Only the heavy sadness and desperation of wanting better for someone on the edge.
This is Vash not wearing his masks. This is him revealing himself to Wolfwood, with all the sadness and the troubled heart and, most importantly, all the hope he still has for Wolfwood.
Crap, why's Zazie gotta show up? They're gonna spoil the mood.
LOL, "Blow-Up Hill." What a name....
PLEASE tell me that this tall and smol who just entered the bar are Meryl and Millie....
YUUUUUUSSSS!!!! Hello, girls!!!
I, too, would like a banana sundae....
A truck full of tomases (toma?)! Hooray for birds!
"Ever since he ran away, we haven't been able to get ahold of him." LOL, GIRLS. He was RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU for a bit while you were on vacation and you were like, "Pfft, I'm not getting paid for this and LET HIM GET AWAY." I mean, as someone who's worked salary jobs, I'd have done the same, but still.
This is lovely. Everything about this is lovely. This is how it's supposed to be. In this moment, everything is right with the world.
Was that a SPACE SHIP that just crashed???
Bless Meryl. Her first concern is never for her own safety. It's always for the safety of others.
Oh, I don't trust the noises.
Wait, a girl?
Wait, she knows Vash?!
Wait, this is where I have to end for the night?!?!
#i honestly wasn't anticipating getting vashwood food this early in the story#now if you'll excuse me#i'm going to go die of feels#trigunbookclub#trigun maximum#volume 2#pancake analysis

Edit the Krasng in 03 aren't enemies!? Holy shit that opens the door to so much angst! Cux before Dee/Angie (mainly Angie) would be undet the impression that people he knows from Pops' dimension would play di.ilar roles snd while Karai being Gram Gram dud throw him a bit (I think he migh be legit evil in 03? Not sure) she still played a similar role as Shredder's daughter it's jsug she was a good guy this time. But now she's seeing people who he thought would be allies turning out to be enemies
Nope! They're not enemies! I wouldn't exactly call them good guys though either. They were, in my opinion, closer akin to 'grudging allies.'
so a little bit on the Utrom (or 03's version of Krang).
(this is all from memory b/c i'm lazy.)
But the Utrom are basically aliens that crashed onto earth a long time ago, and have been trying to find a way back to space ever since. (i think technically it was a prison ship that crashed b/c of a rogue Utrom but don't quite me on that.)
the mutagen that mutated the turtles came from them and their mutation was an accident.
Anyways, fun fact about 03 Shredder, he's an Utrom! and (if i remember correctly) the reason the ship crashed in the first place. He's been terrorizing the earth for a thousand. This is part of why he was such a threat in 03, b/c every time they tried to kill him (and they did try to kill him. several times.) that bastard kept popping back up like a bad penny since they never killed him, just his robot body (that no one realized was a robot body.)
Anyways, the Utrom has been working with a group of humans (that Yoshi, Splinter's Master, had once been a part of) to take down the Shredder.
Honestly, (and maybe i'm imagining it) but i'm fairly certain the Turtles never really trusted the Utrom. Sure they allied themselves with them for a while, and their Master's master secretly worked for them, but it felt more like they were simply fighting on the same side rather than together. (plus they seemed rather willing to let the turtles take on the shredder on their own.
Rant over! Now what does that mean for Angie (and/or Dee)? Well it's basically further proof that Rise and 03 are not the same. Rise Shredder is a demon suit of armor possessing an ancestor's soul. 03 Shredder is an evil alien in a suit of armor that has been terrorizing Earth for a thousand years (and presumably his own planet before that.) 03 Shredder is just straight up evil.
honestly, i'd probably put the two on fairly even footing as far as 'threat meter' goes. Sure Rise is a demonic entity and has a lot of big attacks, but 03 Shredder is a being that's been actively being evil for over a thousand years. He has the money, stregnth, and power to do whatever he wants. And is more than willing to kill even his own allies to get it. (What Baxter Stockman goes through in this universe is all the example you need. Plus that bastard has almost killed Leo like 3 times so, you know. He yeets our boy through April's window. though i think every series has someone getting yeeted thorugh April's window. but that's a different rant.)
As far as Krang vs Utrom, i think Angie/Dee would recognize they were similar but not directly associate them. Like talking to their uncles and pops later, they'd be like "oh yeah, they were like giant utrom looking things. but they were called the krang." And that would be that.
Thank yoU!
#asks#tmnt#rottmnt#adopted au#adopted donnie au#i've got to stop ranting in these#no one wants to read a ten paragraph dissertation on the utrom lol#btw#i lied#i did end up looking it up#but i apparently remembered correctly so yeah#yay me#i can't remember what i had for lunch#but i can apparently remember the plot of a show i haven't watched completely in 10 years

Have you ever unfollowed someone over a fandom opinion?
No. I would only unfollow someone if they're being extremely unreasonable, and their asshole behaviour is escalating.
Has fandom ever ruined a pairing for you?
*looks over at Sonamy*
I was always indifferent to it, but the sheer spectacle made over it has made me beyond sick of it. In fanworks, Sonic is often made OoC for the sake of the ship, or his side of the matter in general is an afterthought at best, because it's said that Amy deserves his love because "she's earned it". They'll waste valuable question time on the Twitter Takeovers over Sonamy stuff. If Sonic and Amy are onscreen together for even a moment, no matter what it is they're actually doing, everyone will hail it as proof of Sonamy. And of course, they'll go crazy when they actually do tease it, using it to shut everyone else up because "Sonamy is Canon, deal with it", even if that teasing is incredibly minor and fated to never go anywhere.
It's a weird feeling looking at all the Sonamy VS Sonally wars over the decades, and not giving a solitary fuck about either of them. And yes, this was already the case long before a certain cardinal sin was initiated on my end. *coughs over horse noises in the background*
Has fandom ever made you enjoy a pairing you previously hated?
Can't think of any.
Unpopular opinion about XXX character?
Sonic: I'm sick of people going one extreme or the other with him. He's not Mr. Principles, nor is he completely selfish to the point of only helping others for his own enjoyment. And I especially dislike when fans misinterpret his role in Black Knight and use it to claim that he's a full on anti-hero. No, he's a legit hero and good person who just so happens to enjoy what he does rather than adopting the usual superhero mantra, and has to make the occasional tough decision for the good of the long run for everyone. What's hard to get about that?
Tails: "I'm wildly inconsistent" does not count as fixing him. Neither does repeating the exact thing that Forces!Tails got slack for to an even more inexcusable extent.
Knuckles: The idea that he tries to see the good in people despite his standoffish nature is fascinating to me, and it's a shame that it's only been brought up for the sake of making him look stupid when he falls for another one of Eggman's tricks. It'd be nice if this got delved into more, in a way where it doesn't screw him over for once… Just don't turn him into Principles the Echidna.
Amy: Like @colony-drop-program, I recognize the… importance(?) of Amy's crush on Sonic, but I find all her other traits infinitely more intriguing.
I also wish people would remember Tails was the one who actually blasted his way through Prison Island. It's become common for fans to give Amy all the credit for that one.
Bean and Bark: Not that I'm super invested in them or anything, but I suppose it'd be nice if they got more opportunities to be the good guys they were intended to be rather than always being pigeonholed with Fang as the Hooligans thanks to Archie. Fang strikes me as a loner type anyway.
Shadow: I don't think I'll ever be on-board with him officially joining G.U.N. I'm fine with him forgiving them, and maybe having a connection of some sort with them afterward, but being a full-on agent himself? I dunno man. After his long life as Gerald and Black Doom's tool, I'd rather he carve out a future where he can be truly free, without needing to answer to any superior.
Rouge: She's not a villain. She's not a villain. She's not a villain. She's. Not. A. Villain.
The entire point of her role in SA2 is that, oh shit, she was only pretending to be on the bad guys' side, and ever since SA2, she's been a loyal ally to Shadow and helped out the other heroes with little hesitance on multiple occasions. She may be a jewel thief, she may have her rivalry with Knuckles, but she's proven time and time again that she's a far better person than most people and comic writers give her credit for.
Cream: I've seen some Amy fans hate on her for supposedly stealing some of Amy's traits, but that's a disservice to her. You can have more than one character in a franchise with similar traits, since they can be explored from different angles. Compare this to a character like Eggman Nega, who really is nothing more than a leech who requires the real Eggman to be split in half in order to seem more impressive.
Silver: Of the many reasons why I'm not interested in him, one is that his schtick gets old very quickly. There's always something to turn his future into yet another Bad Future, and after a while it becomes comical how often his efforts to avert one catastrophe and make a Good Future get revoked by the following catastrophe. Combine that with how he has actual friends in the present, and he might as well just stay in the present full-time and kill two birds with one stone… but then fans would complain about him losing something special to him. Cue frustration.
Also, fans can insist all they want that Silver trusting Mephiles was due to sheer desperation, but until they release the Snyder Cut of '06 where this is actually shown, it's nothing more than a headcanon. You can explain writing fumbles with headcanons, but you can't defend them with headcanons.
Elise: She's not a bad character. Underdeveloped, yes, but the hate she receives is largely exaggerated.
Marine: Her accent annoys me far less than Bunnie's. *mic drop*
Eggman: This notion that he needs to be softened up in order to be fleshed out is ironically a shallow one. He was fine the way he was. There's more than one way to expand on a villain.
Also, he shouldn't be underestimated just because he's a human instead of a god, a demon, an alien, etc. Bowser is an overgrown turtle who can breathe fire when all is said and done, and he still came close to conquering the universe on two occasions. If Bowser can do great things, so can Eggman.
Metal Sonic: It's possible to explore his identity crisis without making him turn traitor. If anything, him staying devoted to the guy who is the real Sonic's arch-nemesis adds an extra compelling layer to his insanity.
Lyric: I actually like his design? Yeah, he's still a crap villain and another one to throw onto the Fucks Eggman Over pile, but his design is at least more interesting than Mephiles the Druggie and Dark "Waiter, There's An Eyeball In My Taco" Gaia.
Infinite: Even if he was meant to be played completely seriously, and the idea of him being parodic to at least some degree isn't actually true, he's still a better maybe-parody of tryhard villains than either Scourge or Surge.
Sage: While Eggman using her for his own ends is preferable to him genuinely caring for her, the mere idea and circumstances of her character is something I'm very opposed to. I just don't like anything that could even vaguely be fitted into the role of Eggman's Bowser Jr, because no matter how it's presented in canon, fans will reduce Eggman to little more than Sage's father regardless. And I'm forced to see a shitton of "wholesome" family bonding regardless.
It doesn't help that beyond her relationship with Eggman, she doesn't have a whole lot of character anyway. The Heavies had more character in Mania, and they had no dialogue whatsoever. Black Doom arguably had more character, because at least with him, I can remember that he doesn't know what lightning is.
The Egg Bosses: They don't work. There is no reason why Eggman would forgo his robots in favor of anthros who, despite his ways of keeping them under his control, still talk back at him, something that the doctor has consistently been known to hate. Eggman having one organic right-hand as the Lefou to his Gaston is fine (like Starline or Agent Stone), but anything more than that just feels wrong IMO.
Tangle: Out of all the IDW-exclusive characters bar pre-Flynned Starline, Tangle is the one I'd be willing to give a chance if she were in something where her characterization wasn't exaggerated to the point of having room temperature IQ. I like the basic concept going on with Tangle, with her being well-intentioned but just a tad overeager for her own good, so I feel kinda sorry for how hard she got flanderized. Compare that to many other characters exclusive to this comic, who I instead wish would just fuck off and never return.
Starline: YOU WERE THE CHOSEN ONE. IT WAS SAID YOU'D SIMP FOR THE DOCTOR, NOT USURP HIM. CAST ASIDE THIS TIRED CLICHE, NOT FOLLOW IT TO THE LETTER. *cries like Ewan McGregor*
Surge: If a character has been shoved in my face relentlessly as the central focus of a character study for over a year, yet I feel as though I know nothing about who they really are by the time it's concluded, I'm gonna say that character might not be very good.
Mario: I cheered when he appeared at the end of the second movie, but why Chris Pratt?

[Magi reread] Night 13: Magician of World Creation
I should, once again, go the fuck to sleep, but, like. One more chapter.
You're a lazy, spoiled piece of shit of a person who believes that just because you're rich or whatever-the-fuck-else, then suddenly the world owes you something.
Oh my sweet summer child. (Also, trying to recognize Aladdin's silhouette).
Rest in pieces.
Ok, but can we, like, fucking talk for a second that ALIBABA FUCKING DODGED MORGIANA'S KICK. Like, how fast was that kick. Was she, like, going a bit slower, because she didn't want to kill him? Because, like, we know she doesn't, but also holy shit. What are these reflexes, Alibaba. Fr tho, she definitely wasn't going all out, but still.
Oh, drop that smile, asshole. You did literally nothing.
Also, I lowkey recall something about Ohtaka saying that Morgiana wears no underwear, and I am incapable of not thinking about it seeing this pose.
An attempt is being made.
Ok, Alibaba can pull tricks here and there, but he looks genuine here, and I actually believe that he is. Like, Balbadd was notably that one country (sans Sindria) where slavery was illegal, so for Alibaba slavery wasn't an everyday thing until he had to run from Balbadd. Like, don't get me wrong, he's absolutely trying to appeal to Morgiana, because she's dangerous, but he means it when he says that she should fight for her freedom, and we know he wouldn't use her, period. He tried to use Aladdin, and look what happened - total failure, because he just isn't the type of person that's capable of using others.
You tried, gold star.
Damn, Alibaba is just never living his best life. Also, you ever think how most Households don't like or are a literal danger to their Kings?
Also, now I'm kind of wondering, cuz I don't recall whether Morgiana's ever apologized for it. Like, don't get me wrong, I don't blame her, and I know neither would Alibaba, he's ridiculously forgiving, but, like, I wonder if she felt bad later on. Probably? To both Alibaba and Aladdin, honestly, though Aladdin, too, definitely doesn't blame her. But, like, I just wonder.
Can somebody, please, punch Jamil 2.0.
Man, I could use some Alibaba Angst rn, but, sadly, I'd have to write it myself. But oh well. But also, damn, that's a lot of blood.
Also, no, he doesn't think he can use her, because he has no intention of using her, fuck off.
Is Alibaba's blood literally splattering here
Congrats, you literally kicked a guy who was already down - no thanks to you, might I add.
I really wish Morgiana's trauma had a bit more focus, ngl.
Everybody's lives are sad as shit. But goddammit.
The boy has awoken.
Fuck the both of you, actually - Aladdin, probably.
Alibaba, after being thrown onto a stone pillar by a Fanalis, and then kicked several times by that one asshole, to the point of splattering his blood on the guy's face: I'm ok, you be careful :) (I love him)
Morgiana still processing what happened (fair). And Alibaba, that is the definition of not being ok.
Birbs.
Also, no, seriously, I legit need some fanfic of the three of them kinda processing what happened there, but, like, in hindsight. When it was happening it was all scary and very tense and all that, but once things are calmer, just kinda looking back at the shit that happened there.
More birds, and also Alibaba, you are NOT ok.
Firs of all, Jamil's about to be fucking surprsied. Second of all, damn, Alibaba, you were hit damn hard.
It's been several pages & bro still can't stand up. Which makes perfect sense, but damn.
Hell yeah, fuck his shit up.
What can I say except !!!!!!!!!!
The fuck do you mean photo limit. I had to delete two photos to fit the remaining ones.
Ok, but Aladdin looks like a badass here.
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

for Daemon's SA theory, I think it explains a lot about him. He's a man in a world where people don't even believe men can be abused. So he probably couldn't tell anyone and just held it all in. His rage makes sense, like of course something is wrong with the world if it couldn't protect him, who might attack him next etc. Explains his constant, almost second nature of gripping his sword. Like he's telling himself he's safe, he can defend himself. His refusal to add emotions into sex (He realizes his feelings for Rhaenyra and stops cause he never wants her to feel used by someone like he probably felt. I bet the person was someone he trusted) and despite that, his constant need for soft, comforting touches and validation from an older male figure. His views on sex and life "take and fuck whomever we want" sounds legit more like a coping mechanism. Like he's telling himself he wanted it, it was a choice he made when it probably wasn't. I do believe Laena and Rhaenyra help him overcome those feelings tho. He'd probably recognize Aemond's nervousness and trauma from a mile away. Though they respond differently, Aemond closes off from anything sexual (tries to forget it) while Daemon doubles down on it, seemingly trying to reclaim that past as his choice when it was anything but. Idk, I'm probably projecting but he and Aemond seem too much like sa victims to be normal.
I'd definitely say it explains a lot about him if not for the fact that we have no reason to suspect it. No indication in the show. He is aggressive but there are lots of other possible reasons for him to be aggressive.
He just doesn't give me the vibe, tbh. His aggression seems more like the narcissistic kinda tension, the "I have every right to hit you if you piss me off because I'm above you (hitting the messenger)/because you're annoying (choking Rhaenyra)". He's one of those fellas who enjoy punishing people
And he clearly hates to be vulnerable in front of other people which would explain his "no feelings attached in sex" persona.
I honestly just don't see the SA abuse but if someone writes a cool post about it or a fic, I wanna read 👀

Ok so. GREAT fun. I haven't listened to the new grandson album as much as I was meaning to (life has been in the way & iamx has had a chokehold on me recently), BUT I recognized them enough for those songs to still be fun. And!!!! He played plenty of older shit, and I had a Blast
My camera didn't wanna fuckin take good pictures lmfao but these r the best ones I got
I was trying to not spend too much of the concert filming (I've been guilty of that before), so I have only 2 videos. One for Dirty and one for Blood//Water (which was the closing song), bc those r both Great. I had SO much fun belting out We Did It tho, practically Yelling it. More fun there than trying to film lmao.
And then there was the song Heather. I didn't know if he'd play it bc it's such a raw song, but he did. Got down onto the floor (so i couldn't see him bc im short lol but that was ok), had us turn our phone flashlights on. & he just sang. A calmer moment. & see the thing is, I've legit cried to that song before. In the car before I knew I'd have to put Cassy down, this album was playing. And that song just... got to me. So hearing it again, experiencing that moment, I'm ngl I cried at the same damn part. Just some little tears, nothing too serious, but still. Got some Emotions from it man... I didn't take any pics during this part bc I was just living in the moment entirely. And I think that's just fine. Sometimes things are better left that way.
Other highlights include Oh No and Stigmata and Stick Up, all of which were Lots of fun to jump around too. EXCEPT I COULDNT JUMP TOO MUCH bc I had water cans in my pockets hfkshfkdhd which was worth it to not have my hands occupied but it did limit me. Yes i did splash myself a few times. I kept it relatively under control so it was fiiiine.
All in all, Lots of fun. I don't go to concerts very much, since I'm not typically the type that likes crowds, but once in a while for artists I care about... yeah ❤
#speculation nation#animal death ment/#bit of a headache and my voice is hoarse. but my ears are a-ok bc i have good ear plugs lol#and I NEEDED THEM... grandson is very loud music Anyways. i could feel that shit in my Chest#i always love that about concerts tho. the best feeling. makes me feel so small in the Best way#i ALSO wore my 2 inch heel boots. which was very nice actually. made me taller than im used to for concerts#still had to play the window game but it wasnt as difficult as it's been in the past.#i rly like these black cargo pants too. sooo many pockets. and BIG ONES TOO...#it's not a style i usually wear. im more one for skinny jeans and short shorts. but sometimes some cargo pants can be so gender#anyways im back to my sister's place & im gonna have a hot pocket. and then probably go to bed jdhkdhfkd#Very Tired. but in a good way. Feeling Fulfilled.

i had a lot of dreams and I already put the first one somewhere so here's the last one (it's already kind of going away). summary: i'm a white girl with a pet rat & unsettling friends who want to have sex with me but i'm hiding a sinister secret...
i was this white girl i think my name is Elenore or some shit like that. most of this dream took plave in/around my mom's house tho she was not there. the piano room had a star in it taking up almost all the space & it was guarded by a couple angels. i had a pet rat or maybe it was a small rabbit, & I kept it in a cardboard box next to my old desk. some days I would forget to feed it & then get really worried, & I was also looking into getting a better box & some toys for it rather than literally just an open topped cardboard box that used to have oranges in it at one point. when I looked out the eindows of my room it was an unfamiliar neighborhood. my dad kept walking in & out of my room to randomly comment on stuff, or pull out clothes I haven't worn in years from my mom's closet. there was also a really nice bomber jacket in there that I wanted to look at but ended up not. I told him we needed to upgrade the rat's area since it sucks rn & he was like yeah maybe so & I was like no it's literally bad he keeps chewing a hole in it and escaping. he was a very cute rat/rabbit though. very very friendly.
anyway a group of people that said they were my friends but I didn't really recognize showed up a few days in a row & we hung out. they all had kind of a slightly weird and uncomfortable vibe, & they liked to do stuff that was just a little outside my comfort zone, but we were friends, so...? I don't remember who all was in the group - I think there were 4 people, a dude, 2 girls, & one mire person who I legit don't remember. the dude was hitting on me on day 1 & I was like hm. nah. on day 2 this very.. she looked and talked a bit like a cowboy & dressed a bit old fashioned, a debutante? she had not super curly red hair, long, partially tied up, was wearing a teal dress with ruffles from the waist down and a briwn leather corset, and she talked like a cowboy esp when she was hitting on me. I liked her more bc she was attractive but I still wasn't that interested bc all of the flirting so far consisted of innuendos. I remember putting a different top on & thinking I needed to hang a gigantic ace flag on the wall so they'd get the idea.
anyway, after I changed I heard the pinging notification sound of my old body starting to resurrect, which was a minor inconvenience that could lead to a major one, but i did this all the time - i needed to eat something to keep her down, but there was nothing on hand.. i then wss like well fine! I'll just drink some of the star from downstairs, I've done it before. purifying fire will scorch it to pieces. and I got a really long straw & threw a rock to distract them.
something went differently with drinking the star this time - I think every time I'd had some, some pixel game overlay would appear that looked kinda hellish with lava pits and fiery rock & pixelated angels that would chase you or seing their swords that fired little projectiles. they couldn't climb surfaces though so once you ran out of sight they lost interest. I don't really know what I was looking for though - i just kept going to the right. this time, some kind of flying seal mount spawned that let me take a shortcut over all the lava and angels to this pedestal in the middle of a pool of lava that had something glowing on there. we picked that up.
back to the real world & in my room, the old body pushed through from under the new one like bad clipping. Elenore's head fell off on the floor. she had brown hair and rather nice blue gray green eyes & a long narrow nose & pale & blemish free skin like fondant & she was looking at us and realizing that she'd fucked up & the blood was such a nice cherry red in contrast. such a tasty looking red on whitish gray, so we sank the teeth into the bridge of her nose and it was all soft and malleable, and we ate her. she didn't even cry out. how could she? she knew she was in the wrong trying to force herself over the skin of an angel, to be us. the friends were from her to continue to pull our moral core further away from what it'd used to be, or if not her than someone she was allied with, since the angels in the piano room didn't like us either. we weren't supposed to be here.
anyway after eating the head down to nothing, then we were "me" & "her". I was me & she was the body that had come back with the star, an Asian girl from like the 1940s & she was looking at her face in the mirror and crying and touching her skin like she thought she'd never see it again. elenore had tricked her a million years ago and put her in a body with wax wings and eaten her and had kept her down every day since then. but she was back! her name started with an L, I think it was like liu or something, very generic last name. she was also happy to see me - she'd felt so isolated from other asians due to her circumstances so she just felt a lot better that I was there. this is something I understand as well lol when I was travelling abroad & there was a group of Asian tourists I'd feel better to see people like me...
anyway we needed to escape the hell from the dream. there were a couple things overlaid - picking up the glowing object in the pixel world increased our stats by a lot, but also the negative ones. illumination - damnation - infernal flame - etc etc. this explanation was given by like a gaming youtuber trying to explain the game. on the second sidr we were sneaking more fire from the stars to get back to the pixel mini game, which was proving much more difficult to escape now that the seal thing hsd despawned. and also I was trying to get the blood from exploding out of elenore's body out of my carpet, but it had a really silky texture like a nice lip tint and just was only spreading around. the girl was not doing very well in the pixel hell minigame & i was worried what would happen if she failed.
