Mission save the human race Pt2
Pt1
You spend the night talking to John after you can't sleep anymore. Too many thoughts enter your brain. Getting pregnant at this time is dangerous, but it's what every good person would do, right? Save the human race.
"I'm a bit afraid."
"You don't need to be, Dove; I'm going to support you; either way, you saved Johnny." he reasured you.
"What if I die while giving birth? Then the whole thing is useless."
"First of all, you are a doctor; you can explain all these things beforehand, and we are soldiers going to take care of you; we would be better than delivery nurses, well, maybe except Kyle."
You chuckled. "And, um, do I need to sleep with every one of you?"
"Not at all, love; you have free choice; you can just choose one, or you can have more than one, you know since the chances are better."
"And they sure want me?"
"I think yes. Look at you."
"You only say that because I'm the only woman on earth."
"Not at all, dove; you're my type, even if there were millions."
"Liar," he pulled your hand and laid it down on his rock-hard dick.
"See how much I want you, and that's only by looking at you."
He stroked the hair out of your face and captured your lips in a kiss. The kiss was shy and thoughtful at first but turned more and more into a battle of dominance, and you knew you wanted him. "So fucking gorgeous. I wouldn't want to share you, but I'm a good man."
You rested your head against his shoulders. "I want to do it with all of you, but not together," he chuckled at your words and how flustered you got to admit your desire.
"We can talk further tomorrow; just let me cuddle you now." You fell asleep, almost suffocating in his strong arms.
------------
The next morning, you went upstairs, entangling yourself from John's massive body.
You went straight to the room where Johnny lay, checking on his fever. He cooled down overnight. You were kind of proud that you managed your surgery well without proper equipment and medication; you're a fucking genius. If the Hopkins had seen this, they would have regretted declining you after medical school.
You rubbed a paste on Johnny's surgery wound and disinfected it.
You were a bit unprofessional as your eyes glanced down at his pure muscles; you wanted to trace them down with your fingers, of course only for medical reasons. You heard the door open, and Simon stood in front of you, only wearing briefs. His thick thighs were covered in scars, and his pecs were well-defined and so fucking tall. You wanted to climb him like Mount Everest, and you sure as hell will soon.
"My eyes are up here, darling." You blushed as he noticed you staring.
"Sorry, you're just so tall, and it's hard to look up." You laughed at your own lie.
"Price told me about the little plan." He walked close to you, pinning you against the wall with sheer force. His calloused fingers touched the hem of your shirt. "I look forward to helping you, and Johnny too. Play a bit with the other boys so you'll be stretched out for both of us."
"Both of you," you breathed out in fear and arousal at the same time.
"We like to share sweet little things like you," he said, pressing his erection towards you and fucking hell which horse was that.
"I know it's big," he said and you swallowed, afraid.
"I'm going to make your stomach swell pretty fast, Doll," he said, pushing you against the wall, his fingers groping against your round ass.
"Simon-"
"Shh, doll, it's okay. We're going to take care of you soon."
You just nodded, unable to do, think, or say anything.
"Just be a good girl today and give your sweet cunt to the captain; he has a thing for cute innocent girls like you." He kissed you around your neck and then let go, making his way back to his boyfriend.
So they would share you. Should this make you feel afraid or aroused?.
You tried to shake it away and went to the kitchen, preparing some fruits for breakfast.
Price awoke to find himself alone in the bed, the sheets cooling against his skin. He sat up and stretched, yawning widely, before looking around for you.
Finding you in the kitchen, he smiled and walked over, wrapping an arm around your waist from behind.
"I feel so domestic with you around me," you said, taking in his smell.
John chuckled, leaning in to kiss your neck. "Domestic? That's a new one. But I like the sound of it." He pulled back slightly, looking into your eyes. "You know, I could get used to this—being with you, taking care of you."
"Already acting like I'm your little wife."
He smirked, his lips curling into a smile. "Well, if it means I get to be your husband, then I think I'm going to like this arrangement very much." He turned you around to face him, his hands sliding up your arms.
"Are you fulfilling your husband's duties then?"
John leaned down, his lips brushing against yours. "Oh, I plan to," he murmured before capturing your mouth in a passionate kiss.
His hands roamed over your body, exploring every curve and dip, asserting his dominance and affection at the same time.
You wrapped your arms around his neck, needing to go on your tiptoes to reach him.
John's body reacted to yours, his hands moving lower to squeeze your butt through your clothes.
He pulled back slightly, looking into your beautiful eyes as he trailed kisses down your neck and shoulders. "I love the way you respond to me," he said, his voice sounding horace and full of lust.
"And how do I respond, John?" You sounded cocky, and the awareness to not tease a man twice your strength left your body.
John's lips curled into a sinful smile. "With fire, Angel, just like this." He bit down gently on your earlobe, eliciting a soft moan from you. "You're so fucking sexy when you submit to me."
"What makes you think I'll submit to you easily?"
Price's eyes narrowed slightly, but his voice remained soft and commanding. "Because I know you want to," he said, trailing his fingers down your stomach and teasingly tickling your lower abdomen. "You love the feeling of being taken and owned." He pulled a slap on your ass, showing you how he in fact owns you right now.
"Oh, do I now?" you asked.
He chuckled, kissing your neck again. "Oh, yes. You do." He ran his hand up your thigh, gently caressing the inner part of your thigh and teasingly brushing against your pants, which were already soaked.
"You're so responsive,"
"John, everyone could walk in the kitchen any moment," you whined, afraid of what others would think of you. You gave in so easily that it didn't even take you a week to decide to become their personal fucktoy.
His eyes flickered at the door for a moment. "That just makes it more exciting," he said, his voice deep and husky. "The thought of someone walking in on us and seeing you like this turns me on."
"Oh, it turns you on how they see how good you take care of me."
"Yes," Price admitted, his voice low and raw with desire. "I love the thought of them watching me claim what's mine." He slid a hand down to cup your pussy through your panties, his fingers teasing your swollen clitoris through the fabric—you hadn't had this friction in a while, making you almost cum from it.
Mhm, John, stop, I didn't shave." Well, you trimmed, but try to shave properly in an apocalypse.
Price's eyes glinted with mischief as he leaned in to whisper against your ear. "I don't care if you haven't shaved—I even prefer it this way," he said, his beard tickling against your skin. "I want you just like this- all natural."
He nipped at your earlobe before trailing kisses down your neck, his hand still buried in your panties. "You're so fucking sexy," he murmured against your skin.
"You think so?" You knew you looked good, but good enough to be desired by these seven literal gods. You doubted it.
His eyes are burning with pure desire for you. "I fucking know so," he growled, pulling you closer and grinding his hips against your body—his erection was already there, and it was fucking big. "You're the most beautiful woman I've ever met, Angel."
"You're the most handsome man I've ever seen." Well, you couldn't quite decide which of them was the hottest, but he didn't need to know that right now.
He chuckled softly, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "Flatterer," he teased, kissing you gently on the lips. "But I'll take it."
You kissed him deeper, moaning into the kiss, his tongue tangling with yours in a heated dance. He could feel your warmth through his pants, and it only made him harder.
With one swift move, he lifted you onto the kitchen counter, pinning you under his strong arms. He lifted you like you weighed absolutely nothing.
"Mhm, John needs you," you whined. You could not hold your composure anymore; you felt lust for him - primal lust for him—like nature wanted it to be; you were animalistic.
"You have me," John said, his voice rough with passion. "Always." His hands moved deftly to slip off your shirt.
Now you sat there on the counter only wearing a bra and some short skirt with spread legs so he could always reach your begging mound. You thought about how any of the boys could walk in at any second, and it only fueled your desire. In the deepest twisted place in your mind, you thought about them taking you at the same time. You blamed it on ovulation week or not being fucked for years straight.
And even though of the sex you had before was frustrating, your ex just couldn't get you off, rubbing on your poor clit like it was a lottery scratcher. How many orgasms you faked, and you asked yourself if you needed to fake one with them too? This would be disappointing.
Price took a moment to admire the view before him, his eyes roaming over your exposed skin. He reached up and undid your bra with practiced ease, letting it fall away to reveal your perfect breasts. His mouth watered at the sight of them. "You're so fucking beautiful." Price smiled as he leaned in, his lips brushing against one of your hardened nipples. "I could spend all night just worshipping these," he whispered before taking one into his mouth and sucking gently.
"Then do it," you whined, wanting him to suck your nipples.
"With pleasure," John replied. He continued to lavish attention on your perfect breasts, his hands teasing and pinching the nipples while his mouth moved from one to the other, lapping at them with hungry kisses. You could barely take it longer. Your eyes darkened from hunger.
You slipped off his shirt as he continued to suck on your hard nipples.
You oggled over his muscular frame; he wasn't the lean muscle type; he had thick, delicious muscles with hair on top of them; he was the pure definition of masculinity; your primal needs chipped in when you saw him, thinking of how you resembled the perfect pair.
He groaned as he felt your hands on his skin, his muscles tightening at the touch. He pulled away from your breasts for a moment, looking down at you with a predatory smirk. "You like what you see?" he asked, his voice low and gravelly.
"I love what I see."
"Good," he replied. He reached down and pulled your panties off, tossing them aside before leaning in to lick a path up your stomach towards your breasts again. You freeze because of your exposed sex; your wetness has already flowed down your thighs.
"I'm going to make sure you scream for me."
"Pretty sure of your skills?" The bratines never left your body; you were lucky that John was a soft dom, and you would regret your bratines sooner or later on Simon's Day.
"You have no idea," John growled, his voice thick with desire. He took your hardened nipple into his mouth once again, sucking and biting gently before moving on to the other one.
"John, I need your mouth somewhere else." You slowly grew impatient, your hole almost begging and crying to finally be stuffed.
"Oh? And where would you like that?" he asked, his voice still rough with lust. He continued to tease your nipples, flicking his tongue over them as he waited for your answer.
"You know where," you whined, hoping he wouldn't let you say it. For fucks sake, you were a medical professional, but you couldn't say that you wanted him on your vagina, stuffing you so badly that it reached your cervix.
Price smirked knowingly. "I've got a few ideas," he replied, his hands sliding down your body. Before he picked you up and laid you down on the kitchen table.
"A fine meal needs to be eaten on the dinner table." You blushed at this sentence.
He looked up at you, his eyes burning with desire, as he took in the sight of your exposed, dripping cunt. "You're so wet for me," he whispered before lowering his head and pushing his tongue into your pussy.
You screamed loudly at the sudden friction grabbing his hair.
John moaned at the taste of you, his tongue lapping up your juices eagerly. He used his hands to spread your legs wider, giving him better access to your most sensitive spots.
"That's it," he growled. "Let me hear you scream."
"John," your moan filled the whole house, and you just hoped you didn't wake Johnny up. Poor boy needs his sleep.
"Fuck, yes," Price panted between licks and thrusts of his tongue. He reached up to grab one of your legs, pulling it over his shoulder as he continued to eat you out.
"mhm feels so good." You moaned, your eyes closed.
"John hummed in response, his tongue swirling around your clit. He reached up to squeeze one of your breasts, eliciting a moan from you. "You feel so fucking good," he murmured, loving the way you were responding to him.
He pushed two fingers into your tight hole, fucking them in and out while he continued to eat you out.
"Don't stop," you begged and felt a bit pathetic. You let an unknown man eat you out, which wasn't the worst part. You let seven fucking men breed you.
"I won't stop," he promised, his voice low and rough with desire.
You shook completely under him, screaming in pleasure. He moaned at the sounds you were making, his arousal growing as he felt your body tense and quiver under him.
He picked up the pace, his fingers thrusting deeper and faster, while his tongue worked overtime on your clit.
"I'm going to---- fuck." you screamed.
He felt your walls clench around his fingers, signaling your impending orgasm. "Cum for me," he growled, sucking even harder on your clitoral area, leaving a small bite on your clit.
And for the first time in your life, a man was competent enough to let you reach an orgasm, and it felt better than everything you felt in your life before you saw stars shaking like you had an exorcism, and so you came squirting all over His tongue. He groaned in delight, his tongue thrusting deep into your pussy to catch every drop of your sweet nectar.
He continued to lap at you, savoring the taste of you as he held your hips down firmly, not allowing you to take away his meal. You thought they looked starved when they ate your food for the first time, but this was a completely new level of starving.
"Fuck," you were a bit embarrassed as you saw the wet puddle on the table and his beard completely drenched." I never squirted before. I'm so sorry," you apologized, your cheeks burning red.
He chuckled, raising his head to look at you. "There's nothing to be sorry about," he assured, his voice filled with warmth and understanding. "I've never had a woman squirt before, either."
"Was it bad?"
He smirked. "Oh, I'd say it was fucking incredible." He pulled his fingers out of your puffy hole slowly, licking them clean before leaning in to capture your mouth in a deep, passionate kiss. You could taste your cum on his tongue, and it was so messy and hot at the same time.
"Do you want me to suck you off, or do we go straight to the fucking part?" You asked, wanting to make him feel good too.
He stepped between your spread legs, his erection jutting out proudly. He looked down at you with a predatory grin, his hand reaching out to cup one of your breasts. "As much as I love to see you on your knees for me, we can't waste an ounce of cum, sweetheart."
"Can you go in slow? I didn't have someone inside in years," you asked, afraid, especially not someone so thick. His dick was perfect, comfortable, 7,5 inches curved to the right and fucking thick, and he had a vein that probably would press against your G-spot perfectly, and fucking beautiful dark curls between his legs, making him seem only more masculine than he already was.
He nodded and positioned himself at your begging entrance, teasing you with only the tip of his cock before slowly pushing inside. "You're so fucking tight," he groaned, savoring the feeling of your warmth enveloping him.
"God, you're the biggest I ever had." He almost pulled you apart; it burned to take him inside, and without proper preparation, you sure as hell wouldn't be able to take him.
John chuckled at your words, pleased with the compliment. "You'll have to tell me how it feels when I'm balls deep inside you," he murmured, thrusting deeper into your shaking body.
Feeling you start to relax and take him deeper, Price began to move faster, his hips grinding against yours in a sensual rhythm. "Fuck, I love how you take my cock," he growled out between gritted teeth.
"Oh God"
"John is enough; no need to call me God Sweetheart." He picked up the pace even more, slamming into you with primal force. His free hand moved to grip your breast roughly, pinching and rolling your nipple between his fingers. "You like that? You want more?" he asked breathlessly.
"I want your cum, John," you whined.
Hearing those words sent a surge of lust through his body. He pulled almost all the way out before slamming back into you, hitting your sweet spot perfectly. "Gonna cum all over your pretty little pussy, going to make you so full of my cum."
"Yes, John," you whine.
"Going to make you all round, going to fucking breed you."
You whined and moaned; the primal need to let him fill you up and mark you as his own filled you. You needed this, and not only for selfless reasons; you enjoyed it as much as he did it.
"You're going to beg me for my cock after this." He pounded into you harder, his dick twitching with anticipation. "Feel that? Feel how much I love fucking you?"
"Yes, feels so good." You whined, "Breed me, John." You didn't know what took over you, but you didn't care. Shame is for post-nut clarity.
Hearing your whine only made him more turned on. He slammed into you again and again, each stroke deeper than the last. "That's it, baby. Take it all. I'm going to fill you up so fucking good." John leaned down, his lips brushing against your ear. "I'm going to make you a mommy," he growled out before slapping his massive cock against your g-spot once more.
He could feel his impending release as he continued to thrust into you; he never had something perfect like you—such a good woman between his filthy, not-worthy hands. His fingers dug into your hips, holding you tightly as he pushed deeper into you than ever before. You felt him hitting your cervix.
"That's it, baby. Take my cum. Let me empty myself inside you."
"Yes, please, Daddy, cum in me."
Price groaned loudly as he felt himself erupting inside you. His hips bucked wildly, driving his cock even deeper as hot, thick cum filled your wanting womb. He held nothing back, emptying himself into her before finally pulling out with a wet pop. "There you go, baby. That's what a real man does to his woman."
"And I'm your woman?" You asked completely out of your mind, probably about hormones.
John smirked, pulling you into his arms. "You sure as hell are." He kissed you passionately.
"Now we need to make you a mommy."
"Well, you already came to me," you giggled.
He rolled his eyes. "I've got plenty more where that came from, sweetheart." He traced his finger down your stomach. "Now let's see about making you a baby; besides, I don't want any of these muppets making you pregnant before me." You didn't strike him as the jealous type since he shared you with seven men, but maybe it was the thing about being the first that fueled him.
"You have the stamina for a second round? Price grinned, giving you a wink.
"With you? Hell yeah." He pulled you close and kissed you again, starting to nibble on your ear. "And this time, I'll make sure I hit the back of that sweet cunt of yours." He carried you to the bed and laid you down.
The bed dipped at his weight, his hard cock still rock-hard against his stomach. He positioned himself between your legs and looked into your eyes. "Ready for round two, baby?"
"Yes, Daddy." You knew how crazy it made him when you called him this.
Price leaned down and captured your lips in a passionate kiss, his tongue tangling with yours as he thrust his hips upward. He groaned into the kiss, feeling the head of his cock push against your entrance once more. "God damn, you feel good."
You put your legs on his shoulders. He imideatly kissed your ankles and hit you deeper with every thrust. He couldn't help but moan in pleasure. He looked into your eyes as he began to move his hips back and forth, slamming into you with each powerful stroke. "Fuck, you're so tight."
You clenched around him, and it only fueled his primal instincts. "That's right, baby. Let's make you a mommy." His fingers dug into your hips, pulling her closer as he continued to pound into you.
"Mhm, going to cum soon, John," he grinned as he heard your moan.
"That's it, baby. Let it out." He felt your cunt clench around him as you shook from the orgasm he had just given you.
"Thank you, Daddy."
"You're welcome, Dove. Now let's see if we can get you pregnant." With that, he pulled out of your pussy and rolled over onto his back, beckoning you to straddle him once more. "Ride me until you're ready for another."
You let your hips fall on his thick cock, whining as he spread you in half, and so you began to ride him, your boobs jumping up and down.
He moaned at the sight of your ass bouncing against his full balls as you rode him hard. He grabbed your hips tightly, helping you to move faster and harder on his shaft. "That's it, baby. Ride me until you can't take it anymore."
He reached up, grabbed one of your perky breasts, and began to play with your nipple while you rode him. "Do you want me to crawl inside you again, baby?"
"Yes, Daddy," you nodded and clenched around him just at the thought.
Price loved the way you answered. "Then keep riding me, dove." He pulled on your nipple gently, watching as you let out a small cry of pleasure. He continued to play with your breast while he watched your ass bounce up and down on his cock.
"That's it, baby. Show Daddy how much you love his cock."
"I love it so much, Daddy."
He groaned as he felt your pussy clench around his cock. "Oh, fuck yes. You feel so good." He continued to play with your breast while he started to circle your clit while you rode him.
John's voice dropped to a whisper as he spoke his darkest desires into your ear. "I want to fuck you in every hole, dove. I want to mark you as mine and give you all the babies you want."
He continued to rub your clit in small circles as you rode him harder. Price could feel his orgasm building quickly. That's it, baby. Give Daddy what he wants." He reached up and pinched your nipple hard, watching as you let out a sharp cry of pleasure.
"I want you to cum for me, baby. I want to watch you squirt all over my cock."
"Mhm, fuck," you moaned. You couldn't take it any longer.
He continues His work on your abused clit Till you clench around him and squirt all over His dick.
John groaned as he felt your pussy clench around his cock and squirt all over him. "Fuck, yes. That's it, dove." He continued to rub your clit even after you came, wanting to draw out every last drop of pleasure from your body.
"Too much, Daddy," you whined as he overstimulated you.
Price chuckled softly at your whines, his fingers still working on your clit. "Sorry, dove. Did I go too far?" He asked teasingly, knowing full well that he hadn't. Instead, he loved pushing your limits and seeing just how much you could take.
"That's it, dove. Give Daddy all of it." He whispered in your ear before pulling out of your wet pussy and slapping his hard cock against your slick mound once more. "Daddy going to fill you up now, and you're going to take everything, understood?"
You were too fucked out to talk; you just nodded.
He fucked with a mean pace into you, his balls slapping against your ass, leaving his mark, but that wasn't enough; he needed to mark your breasts too, to show everyone he was the first to have you - the first to hopefuly impregnate you. You were his, and he was only a good captain for sharing his priceless angel. A pure act of selflessness from him.
With a final thrust, he erupted himself inside you. Hot, strips of his sticky cum painted your inner walls white. "Take it, sweetheart, let me fill you up." He pushed his cum in your hole all over again and then removed his dick out of your red, swollen cunt. He held your legs up. "I don't want my cum to flow out of you before the job is done."
You thought he would leave after the act, but he didn't, so his affection was real. He cleaned you up with a towel, massaging your sore thighs and almost forcing you to drink enough water since you squirted so much. "Did it feel so good for me, Sweetheart? I never had such a perfect woman before," he whispered against your skin. " Gonna worship you and give you everything you need, okay?"
You nodded and cuddled against his fury body, easily falling asleep after this activity.

Five Times Winnie Wanted to Confess, One Time Augustine Did
This has been in my docs done for ages I just never got around to posting it, written during a Cold Front obsession phase
Do excuse me if they're out of character or if I messed up any dates, I can't remember them all perfectly— Anyways, Enjoy!
--
Sypnosis: The first time Winnie realized he was in love was at the tender age of 12.
He hadn’t expected to think of that at all really, especially not at 4 in the morning of all times.
Word count: 8.9k
The first time Winnie realized he was in love was at the tender age of 12.
He hadn’t expected to think of that at all really, especially not at 4 in the morning of all times.
The date on his phone read February 14th, 20xx. He didn’t know why he was still awake, but something in him absolutely refused to get a wink of sleep, quite different to usual. On a normal day he was asleep by 11 maximum, with the exception of the first few days after moving away from his home (his mother was very concerned, he still remembers how she’d check on him during the night to see if he was sleeping or not. He’d pretend to the best of his ability until she left before he returned to wallowing in his sorrows again.).
Scrolling on his phone seemed to be the only form of entertainment at the time, if he got out of bed his parents would realize he was awake and he really didn’t feel like getting another lecture. He didn’t have any homework to busy himself with, nor did he really feel like looking for something else. Messaging Augustine had come to mind, but there was no doubt he was asleep at this time.
The other was stubborn, especially when it came to him staying up on weekends, but he never usually made it past 2. He would also sleep in until around 1PM every time he tried to be stubborn and stay awake longer and get scolded about it when he woke up, punished with doing extra chores. On those days he wouldn’t stop complaining about it, saying he was ‘a big boy now’ and that ‘it’s not fair others get to stay awake and get away with it!’. He couldn’t help finding his friend’s enraged expressions funny.
The blond didn’t end up saying anything so as not to wake him up, they could probably talk in the morning, anyway. With nothing better to do, he scrolled through anything he could find trying to distract himself or become tired enough to sleep and get the rest he needed.
When his eyes finally started to get heavier, he noticed a website that caught his attention. It was something posted merely moments ago, titled something along the lines of what to do on valentines day for your loved ones or whatever (he was too tired to process it properly). Out of curiosity, his fingers glided over the link to open it.
It was too late for him to process most of the words, but what stood out was the beginning of the article. It was nothing special, only the typical explanation of what the day is and why it's considered special, but his eyes lingered on a single phrase. ‘Valentine's day was a special occasion for everyone, the perfect day to confess to your crush, whether it's a friend, classmate, or even acquaintance who has lingered on your mind’ was the quote, the rest of the paragraph continued similarly.
His tired mind couldn’t help but wonder what could happen on this day, childish brain coming up with no more than the image of people like his parents, always together and in love, dedicated to each other to the point you could see it a mile away. He wondered what the day could mean for him, is there a special someone he should be thinking about? Is it normal this is the first time he really thinks about that? Is he gonna be the outcast again being alone in the morning while everyone else has someone by their side? Was he weird because he didn’t have his eyes set on a girl he wanted to…kiss? It shouldn’t be an issue he was twelve, but what if things in Saskatchewan were different or something, would they laugh at hi-
His thoughts came to a halt as the image of his one friend came to mind. Augustine didn’t have his eyes on any girls either, right? He would have known otherwise. They told each other everything, that wouldn’t be an exception!
..Did he know anything about this day? It was never acknowledged all that much in Quebec, was it the same here? Maybe he wasn't so weird after all? The thought calmed his nerves a little more than it should have.
Despite that, for some reason, the idea of being with his best friend during that day didn’t bother him as much as it should have. He felt his face rapidly heat up at the thought of holding his hand, it wouldn’t be the first time they did that they do so very often Augustine always liked to drag him places saying that it was easy and faster (which Winnie was offended by, he can walk fast too!) but for some reason that thought felt different, he didn’t know why.
If his reaction to finding out about the event was normal, this was definitely not. They’re friends, Auggie was his first and only friend after coming here. He didn’t pity him, he didn’t leave, he wanted to stay, he was why Winnie talked to other people at all even if to him they were enough on their own. Auggie was nice to him the way he wanted, he never left him out of things. The other boy was different, straight forward at best but Winnie liked that about him. He never lied about things (even if he did, he was so bad it was laughable), and he never laughed when Winnie’s emotions took the best of him. He supported him and it meant everything to the little boy.
Since they met, he visibly started feeling better. He finally came out of his shell and started crying less, eventually returning to his normal sleep schedule. Well, normal until today that was. But that's all they were, right? Nothing else, that's all they could be right? He wasn’t a girl, nor was the brunette, so that’s what they were.
..Their parents didn’t ever say anything about the way they acted, so it was okay right? Not much would change if they did do things together on that day. Would it be weird if he said he loved him in the morning?? That was the point of the day right? To celebrate love with people you like and enjoy the day together?
It would be okay if he tried to say something right? Nothing bad would happen, Auggie would probably be okay with it too. He didn’t want to be alone and he doubted the other did either, so it was good for them both right?
Winnie barely processed it when he yawned, just realizing how tired all that thinking had made him. Another look at the time told him over an hour had passed, 5:21 Am now instead of 4 when he last checked.
He had to rest so he knew what to say in the morning, otherwise he’ll mess up and forget later!
Finally, he closed his eyes and drifted off to a dreamless sleep 6 hours later than he would have typically wanted to.
It was 2 P.M when Winnie woke up, his head was pounding. His eyes hurt to open and he felt a lot more tired than usual, entirely disoriented.
The door creaked open as a woman with an appearance similar to the child peered her head in, perking up when she realized he was awake.
“Winnie?”
He really shouldn’t have stayed awake, his head hurt even more at hearing the words that he almost forgot to process his name being called. Mustering up the energy to fix his seating, he looked up at his mother to respond despite looking like an absolute wreck.
He was too out of it to really process what happened before he found himself near the lake with Augustine, the shorter kicking rocks into it paying little attention to him spacing out.
..Ah right, he was scolded for being awake for so long. Apparently his mother had realized he was awake when she went to take the laundry out of his room in the morning. His phone was warm, a clear sign he only got off of it recently. She ended up leaving after telling him to get ready for the day, that his best friend had been waiting for him for an hour by that point.
Hearing how long he left him standing, Winnie practically jumped out of bed already panicked as guilt overtook his senses. As soon as he was ready, he basically raced out the door to find his friend who was halfway up climbing a tree by the time he noticed him.
“Auggie!” he exclaimed while making his way over, whatever the other responded didn’t stick to his memory, too tired to really process how fast he typically spoke.
“-Winnie! Look at me already!”
The blond was snapped out of his trance by a flick to the forehead, blinking a few times before his eyes cooperated enough to notice how close his friend was to his face. He practically jumped back with a yelp, forgetting how he was sitting on the edge of the lake and falling into the water.
Augustine panicked and barely grabbed onto his hand, almost falling into the water himself. It’s not that Winnie was unable to swim, more that the water was cold if anything.
With some splashing, they eventually managed to pull him out, but he was absolutely soaked. Augustine couldn’t help but laugh at how wet he was, much to Winnie’s displeasure.
“DON’T LAUGH AT ME YOU’RE THE REASON I FELL AUGGIE” He huffed out, faking annoyance which only made his friend laugh harder.
It was.. Nice.
…until he began sneezing, that was.
The two ended up having to run to Winnie’s house as Augustine dragged him back by the hand once more, trying to warm him up as they went along.
The brunette ended up having to explain to their parents why Winnie was soaked when they were just meant to be playing as he dried himself off and changed, eventually making his way back to his room after Auggie had left to his own house again.
Their conversation can wait, he was too tired and it wasn’t the right time.
But that was okay.
They’ll always have time.
———————————————
The second time Winnie thought about love, he was 14.
2 years had passed since his valentines day dilemma, safe to say time (and procrastination) had eventually made him forget all about his plans.
As they got older, Auggie had hardly changed. They were still together as they were since he moved, only fresh in highschool! Best friends, like they said they were.
During the past few years, he was pressured to talk to more people and make new friends. At some point, he no longer found himself obsessing over finding out why they wanted to be around him. Eventually, the thought of being approached out of pity felt only like a distant memory or something he imagined happening, though it was far from that. If not for that fear, his mother wouldn’t have talked to Augustine’s about him, they wouldn’t have had their c̶h̶a̶o̶t̶i̶c̶ first meeting, never gotten the chance to be this close.
He may not admit or even say it all that often, but that is one thing he’s grateful for. If not for that, he’d have still been dealing with the emotional wreck of being the new kid, outcast like he always expected to be. But he didn’t need to be, it was proven to him in the best way it ever could have been.
He had come to know Augustine’s other friends, they even liked him. The first time he couldn’t make it to school and they still invited Winnie to sit with them the boy was overjoyed, almost to the point he forgot about his friend’s absence for a while. By the time the day was over, he couldn’t help feeling empty without the energetic presence rambling alongside him as they walked back home.
It was one day, so it didn’t matter that much in the long run right?
From that day on, he became more comfortable with them. He didn’t worry as much about being wanted there or not, becoming visibly more comfortable. It came to the point that it was so clear the brunette asked him about it straight up during the middle of one of their walks.
“Hey Win?” Augustine paused, nearly causing the boy behind him to run into him.
The blond caught himself the last second, stabilizing his stance enough to make sure he wouldn’t fall before speaking again.
“Mm yea Auggie? Why’d you stop walking? I was gonna fall on you!” He whined.
“You’ve been more willing to sit with people recently, did something happen while I was gone?”
His questioning look was met with a big smile, almost like Winnie was waiting to talk about it.
“Oh!! That? When you didn’t come a few days ago, your friends came up to me and asked me to sit with them even if you weren’t there, they were really nice and-”
As he continued to ramble, Augustine returned to walking. While the other followed soon after, his expression stayed the same as his ramble- which the brunette stopped listening to- didn’t cease. He felt weird about that, why did it feel weird hearing how happy Winnie was hanging out with his friends on their own? That was what he wanted, right? To get him more friends?
It was probably nothing, doubt it mattered much anyway. It was one time and a normal thing.
“You never told me why you didn't show up to school that day though, did something happen? Mom didn’t let me check on you because she said you probably didn’t want to be bothered at the time” Winnie inquired all of a sudden, catching the other’s attention and cutting off his line of thought.
“I was sick, couldn’t get out of bed and recovered over the weekend” he quickly responded, it was no lie but saying he wasn’t bummed out by not seeing his friend would be a lie. It would have probably made him feel less like a glorified pile of muck on the side of the road.
At least now he knows he wasn’t ditched, it wasn’t intentional or voluntary at least.
Winnie didn’t abandon him because of them.
Of course he wouldn’t! Why would he ever leave someone like him, anyway? He was Winnie’s first and closest friend, nobody else. Others getting to know him wouldn’t change that, if they would have then Winnie wouldn’t have put his all into proving he was cool enough they’d be friends.
Winnie didn’t really notice the look on his friend’s face, too focused on making sure they crossed the road properly. The traffic lights were green and cars were zooming past, yet Augustine’s pace didn’t slow or pause at all. Rushing forward a little faster, he pulled the other back by his collar.
Augustine yelped, not expecting a sudden pull cutting off his breathing for a moment. Winnie gave him a sheepish smile as he coughed trying to breathe properly again, muttering out an awkward apology.
“You were about to walk into the road silly, why did you get so distracted suddenly?” He didn’t say how he found it funny, knowing the other would throw a dramatic fit over that. It was slightly endearing, in a way.
He only realized he sas silently staring at the one before him for a few minutes too long until he felt tapping on his forehead.
“Earth to Winnie, you didn’t hear a word I said didn’t you?” Augustine grumbled.
Winnie couldn't help but laugh once again, his antics really were different.
“We can cross the road now, hurry up before it turns green again!”
It seemed like his dear friend was back to being himself after that mini-distraction, it felt more right this way. He was, once again, taken by the hand as Auggie ran across the road to get them past as fast as possible without the light switching colours on them again.
Winnie could swear he almost tripped 3 times during that small distance run. He should really focus more.
As he looked back to his best friend he couldn’t help but sit there in silence for a few minutes. He wasn’t saying anything this time, only staring off at something god knows where again. As he did so, Winnie couldn’t help thinking back to his thoughts that night two years ago.
Should he bring it up? They were even closer now, so it was even less possible Auggie would react badly (if he did at all!)He had the energy for the conversation this time, they were alone like they needed to be too!
If he didn’t say anything, he’d be too much of a coward to do so again later. 2 years passing since the time he originally planned to and ended up ditching proved that!
With a deep breath and little to no plan, Winnie decided to just get it over with as he could quite literally feel himself inching closer to a heart attack.
“Hey Auggie?”
Augustine turned to him, suddenly losing interest in whatever had his attention moments ago.
“What is i-”
“AUGUSTINE!’
A voice of someone they hadn’t anticipated caught both the young boys off guard. Winnie recognized her, a girl from their math class earlier that day. She was insistent on talking to his friend almost the entire class which threw him off but he said nothing nonetheless.
Augustine’s attention snapped to the call of his name instead, focus shifting.
Winnie didn’t hear the conversation that transpired next, busy trying to understand why the sudden interruption annoyed him the way it did.
It happened sometimes, that was normal. Augustine knew everyone, it's only natural they came up to him sometimes too no? He wasn’t the only one.
“Winnie I need to go for a bit, Donna just said there’s something I need to see quickly or something? You can continue without me I’ll tell you when I’m back” the boy rushed out as he was being pulled away off to the complete opposite road of the path they were going on.
Winnie found himself nodding involuntarily, hardly processing it when the words “I’ll see you when you’re back then” came out of his mouth.
They were oddly dry, not the way he usually talks.
Augustine wasn’t able to dwell on that much further as the girl, now known as Donna, dragged him off somewhere else leaving Winnie alone.
Another time, surely it’d work out by then right?
———————————————
The third time Winnie acknowledged love, he was 16.
Another two years had passed and, once again, he kept procrastinating and chickening out at the last second.
The one time he was finally about to say something, Augustine was dragged away and didn’t return until midnight. He was worried sick the entire day, what if something happened? He promised not to take long, why did he? Maybe he was dragged into something bad, maybe he got hurt and couldn’t come back yet what if he got kidnapped what if something worse happened he didn’t know what the’d do with himself if—
Their mothers were equally worried that day, apparently Augustine didn’t tell his parents he’d take longer because of whatever happened either. When he returned alone, Winnie was questioned about the others whereabouts and lacked a good answer, increasing their concern only for the boy in question to appear again a mere few hours later and get the scolding of his life.
He wasn’t hurt more than a few scratches here and there, some bruises sure but those were his own fault for not being careful as he should have been. Auggie never explained what happened that day, though. It’s not like he pressed for any further information but it was…weird.
Since then, he never brought it up again no matter how much the brunette pestered him to continue his sentence on that day, claiming he forgot or making up any excuse he could think of on the spot to avoid having that interaction when he was not yet prepared. He was procrastinating for so long it had to be perfect. That was the only thing that would make it feel worth the wait.
Winnie would tell him on the anniversary of their first meeting.
..was it excessive? To call it an anniversary, he doubted Auggie remembered the date as anything special but it meant the world to him at the time, and it does even as time passed. It was when he realized he didn’t have to feel so alone anymore, the day someone in this province finally made him feel wanted and welcome.
Because of him, he got closer to more people. The friends Augustine introduced him to, the ones who invited him to hang out with them alone, others around the school, they all wanted to know him for him now. He was the reason they started liking Winnie, the reason he has any other friends at all.
Of course, Augustine would forever stay his favourite and dearest one, but that didn’t mean others didn’t become valued too. Winnie had never been happier, people waving to him as he passed by, stopping to talk to him from time to time, it made him feel warm inside again.
He didn’t miss the glances he got, but it never felt like much of a concern.
At least, not for a while.
Or not yet.
What he had noticed was how Augustine had changed over the years, how he reacted whenever the blond introduced him to a new friend he’d make. How he tended to not respond the way he used to when they were talking about interests they had, especially Hockey.
Winnie knew his friend always loved that game. He was the best player their school had for years, close to all other members of the team and always telling him about it. H̶e̶ t̶r̶i̶e̶d̶ n̶o̶t̶ t̶h̶i̶n̶k̶i̶n̶g̶ a̶b̶o̶u̶t̶ h̶o̶w̶ c̶o̶n̶v̶e̶n̶i̶e̶n̶t̶l̶y̶ t̶h̶e̶ t̶i̶m̶e̶ A̶u̶g̶u̶s̶t̶i̶n̶e̶ s̶t̶o̶p̶p̶e̶d̶ t̶a̶l̶k̶i̶n̶g̶ a̶b̶o̶u̶t̶ i̶t̶ l̶i̶n̶e̶d̶ u̶p̶ w̶i̶t̶h̶ t̶h̶e̶ t̶i̶m̶e̶ w̶h̶e̶n̶ h̶e̶ j̶o̶i̶n̶e̶d̶ t̶h̶e̶ t̶e̶a̶m̶ a̶l̶o̶n̶g̶s̶i̶d̶e̶ t̶h̶e̶ b̶o̶y̶.

W̶h̶e̶n̶ h̶e̶ f̶e̶l̶t̶ d̶i̶f̶f̶e̶r̶e̶n̶t̶.
N̶o̶t̶ t̶h̶a̶t̶ i̶t̶ w̶a̶s̶ a̶n̶ i̶s̶s̶u̶e̶ t̶h̶o̶u̶g̶h̶, t̶h̶e̶y̶ w̶e̶r̶e̶ f̶r̶i̶e̶n̶d̶s̶, r̶i̶g̶h̶t̶?̶ I̶t̶ w̶a̶s̶ l̶i̶k̶e̶l̶y̶ h̶e̶ w̶a̶s̶ h̶a̶v̶i̶n̶g̶ a̶ b̶a̶d̶ d̶a̶y̶ a̶n̶y̶w̶a̶y̶, t̶h̶i̶s̶ y̶e̶a̶r̶ w̶a̶s̶ n̶o̶t̶ t̶r̶e̶a̶t̶i̶n̶g̶ h̶i̶m̶ k̶i̶n̶d̶l̶y̶ b̶y̶ a̶n̶y̶ m̶e̶a̶n̶s̶.
They were still friends, accompanying each other to every class and doing things together as always. It was a good thing how they haven’t changed in that regard, people always came to associate them with the other.
Overtime, it became apparent that wherever Augustine is, Winnie was not far away and vice versa. They used to joke about it at first until it became frequent enough the joke itself got boring. Now, it’s nothing special.
Sure, they walked with other people and hung out with others sometimes. a̶t̶ l̶e̶a̶s̶t̶ h̶e̶ d̶i̶d̶, A̶g̶u̶s̶t̶i̶n̶e̶ m̶u̶s̶t̶ h̶a̶v̶e̶ t̶o̶o̶ n̶o̶?̶ h̶e̶ h̶a̶d̶ p̶l̶e̶n̶t̶y̶ o̶f̶ f̶r̶i̶e̶n̶d̶s̶ a̶s̶ f̶a̶r̶ a̶s̶ h̶e̶ k̶n̶e̶w̶. But it never damaged their bond.
Winnie was planning this day for the past 4 months at this point, it almost felt funny how repetitive this routine felt by the third time. “The day he would stop being a coward, would say it to his friend’s face and wait for the response he yearns for” or whatever he always thought about, cheesy in a way but it wasn’t like he could exactly help that.
They were only walking through the halls during their lunch period when they passed by Winnie’s locker. A normal thing if not for the fact 3 people were crowded around it, whispering to themselves.
The duo didn’t pay it much time at first, preferring to continue their debate on the newest pointless subject they thought of: if oranges came first or if it was the colour. Augustine insisted the fruit did, whereas Winnie was prepared to die on the hill saying it was the other way around.
The group of 3 in front of the locker were not people the two were particularly friends with, Winnie recognized one as someone who sits next to him in.. biology? At least that's what he remembered. Augustine shrugged at the question of their names, saying it didn’t come up enough for him to remember them much, adding on how they weren’t particularly interesting enough for him to care beyond acquainting with anyway.
It wasn’t something Winnie needed to put much thought into either, trusting his friend’s judgement.
All that really mattered now was convincing Auggie to follow him to the rooftop where he could finally say what he wanted to in complete privacy, but until then he had to keep his cool and continue their seemingly endless bickering.
They were forced to snap out of their conversation when one of the boys pushed someone towards them, turning to see what the issue was. The girl pushed towards them by her friends lost her balance, but Winnie quickly caught her fall before any actual damage could be caused, at which her face turned red.
H̶e̶ c̶o̶u̶l̶d̶ s̶w̶e̶a̶r̶ A̶u̶g̶u̶s̶t̶i̶n̶e̶ g̶l̶a̶r̶e̶d̶ a̶t̶ h̶e̶r̶.
“Are you okay?” he inquired, looking between the three in obvious confusion.
The girl just nodded, fiddling with her hands seemingly unable to form a proper response. As he turned away to leave after telling them to be more careful, his arm was grabbed by her as a seemingly impulse decision she regretted almost immediately after.

Before he could breathe, she finally spoke up.
“Can I- talk to you for a few minutes?”
Winnie looked back at his friend, seemingly at a loss. He didn’t want to stay, he planned so long for this but she didn’t have plans of letting him go yet and-
The look on Augustine’s face was cold as it was on those days in the rink, his expression changing to one Winnie couldn’t read in mere seconds after they were talking normally only moments ago.
At least that's what he thought, it’s what that looked like anyway.
“You can go, it’s fine” the brunette said, though Winnie knew better than to believe his tone was one of someone who really didn’t care what he did. He knew better than that, Augustine was annoyed, but what for?
It seemed like the girl took that as an invitation to drag him away, almost tripping Winnie in the meantime. Her friends cheered her on as Augustine only turned around and walked in the opposite direction instead of waiting for him to return after or interrupting her for dragging him off like that.
Whatever side of the school she was taking him to he didn’t quite notice, only realizing how far they’d gone when she shoved a letter into his hands and refused to look at him. Winnie could easily guess the implications of that, seeing the heart sticker on the front of it.
It was about to be a long conversation, one he didn’t want to be a part of.
Why was it so difficult for things to work out when he wanted to come clean?
Maybe another time, surely.
———————————————
Winnie was 18 when they grew apart.
Their separation started slow, over the course of a few years.
It wasn’t entirely like that of course!- they were talking less is all, not really separate. They still hung out at school sometimes like they used to and sat together in one or two classes, W̶i̶n̶n̶i̶e̶ f̶o̶u̶n̶d̶ h̶i̶m̶s̶e̶l̶f̶ d̶r̶a̶g̶g̶e̶d̶ s̶o̶m̶e̶w̶h̶e̶r̶e̶ e̶l̶s̶e̶ m̶o̶r̶e̶ o̶f̶t̶e̶n̶ t̶h̶a̶n̶ n̶o̶t̶, A̶u̶g̶g̶i̶e̶ n̶e̶v̶e̶r̶ s̶t̶o̶p̶p̶e̶d̶ h̶i̶m̶ s̶o̶ h̶e̶ d̶i̶d̶n̶'t̶ t̶h̶i̶n̶k̶ t̶h̶e̶r̶e̶ w̶a̶s̶ t̶h̶a̶t̶ m̶u̶c̶h̶ o̶f̶ a̶ p̶r̶o̶b̶l̶e̶m̶ r̶i̶g̶h̶t̶?̶
They walked together after on their home, but Auggie never looked at him if he could help it. When he did, something felt wrong. Instead of the warm looks he always received when they were kids, it was like looking at a stranger.
Any conversations they had were started by him and died out quite quickly, the other giving the bare minimum of a response if not just nodding and moving along. The blond never figured out how to get him to talk like they used to again, nor the reason for the sudden change.
Something he noticed more and more as he approached his friend was the way the other would scoff, as if annoyed by his mere presence. Winnie remembers staying awake night after night thinking and trying to understand what happened, where he went wrong, what he did to make things this way.
He looked through every conversation he could find, recounting every single one he could remember trying to find what about him led his friend to being unhappy about his presence after so long.
Could it be that Augustine had grown tired of him?
Winnie shook his head- he was too tired to be thinking of this at the moment. They would be heading back home in a bit, it was 3:00 anyway, a few minutes left before the bell rings.
He would approach Auggie and have a proper conversation again if it was the last thing he did!
…He didn’t realize how hard that would be until he was already looking for the other, trying to make up any topic so they wouldn’t walk in silence again, and fate didn’t seem to be on his side as he found the person he was in search of before conjuring anything up.
Despite the cold air between them, Augustine still waited for him at the gate so they could walk back together. It made Winnie feel more at ease, knowing he at least didn’t mess up badly enough to get ditched entirely.
He didn’t respond to anyone calling him as he speed-walked over to the brunette, not wanting to make him wait longer than he already did. Heavens know the last thing Winnie wanted now was to have Augustine ditch him because he took too long.
As soon as he arrived, the brunette turned around and started walking down the path that's been imprinted into their memory over the years. It was always a routine of theirs to walk back together, the company was nice. The few times they were separated by something happening always ended up in an apology or hangout later that day to make up for the time.
Winnie both loved and hated how this walk started to feel overtime. The silence wasn’t comfortable as it used to be, his friend didn't look like he planned to break it either. As expected, the job fell on his shoulders.
The further they went, the worse it got. The familiarity of the path at least allowed him to space out and think more about what to do to make things less awkward.
It seemed as if his brain had other plans, by the way it didn’t cooperate. Whatever, they knew each other for years. The last few conversations couldn’t keep repeating, they’d never improve again if neither of them spoke up.
“Hey Auggie?” He began, with little clue as to where he planned to go with the conversation.
For the first time that day, Augustine looked up at him. “Yea?”
“I heard you had a test today, how did it go? Math right?” Winnie did not in fact hear of a math test, let alone one at all. A friend of his mentioned stressing over one the week prior and he just asked that based on someone else who probably wasn’t even in the same cla-
“Another calculus one, yes. Absurdly soon seeing when the last one was” he responded, looking back to the street instead of the one next to him.
That was something Winnie could work with, a start somewhere.
“How did it go? You were always complaining about that subject then finishing all the work before I even got halfway through the page, it was impressive”
There was a shift in Augustine’s expression, small, but noticeable. It was a good confirmation he was doing alright so far, which was all he needed.
The shorter just shrugged at the question. It was how he always reacted to those sorts of inquiries, Winnie couldn’t help letting out a small laugh.
H̶e̶ m̶i̶s̶s̶e̶d̶ t̶h̶e̶ w̶a̶y̶ A̶u̶g̶u̶s̶t̶i̶n̶e̶ s̶t̶i̶f̶f̶e̶n̶e̶d̶ a̶t̶ t̶h̶e̶ s̶o̶u̶n̶d̶.
“How'd you know there was a test to benign with? We’re in different math classes” Augustine may have been staring at the road still, but he was less focused on their path more at kicking the rocks he found on the way. A classic thing he did, trying to get them to go as far as possible.
When they were younger they used to try and see who could do it better, but Winnie eventually grew out of it. Of the many things that changed about Augustine, that habit was not one.
“A friend was complaining about it the last time we talked, I assumed you might have the same teacher and I was right!” He answered. What to him seemed like a simple answer made Augustine pause. Pause for a lot longer than he should have as his expression shifted again.
..Winnie didn’t think he said anything wrong, did he?
Augustine didn’t respond, opting to go back to walking faster than before rather than say a word.
They would be silent again if he didn’t continue, it was going well for once his friend responded with proper sentences again instead of gestures or small sentences.
“I’m sure you did great, Auggie!” He saw the other smile and roll his eyes at those words, s̶l̶i̶g̶h̶t̶l̶y̶ r̶e̶l̶i̶e̶v̶e̶d̶?̶.
The direction he was going in seemed to be exactly what was needed, so Winnie went on. “Did you go to hockey practice last Friday? I had to miss it to help my parents with stuff after school but I couldn’t stop thinking about that”
Augustine scoffed and Winnie hesitated to say anything else as a strange feeling set in.
“I went, everyone kept asking about you though”
“That’s so nice of them, I didn’t-” He was cut off by the feeling of his wrist being grabbed roughly.
“What was that?”
Winnie blinked awkwardly, just noticing the expression on the other’s face.
“I just..said that it was nice?” Augustine held onto his wrist tighter at that.
“Don’t play dumb, repeat what you said again I dare you.”
He was angry.
Despite everything, Winnie had never seen the other angry with him. He saw him annoyed, yelling at others from time to time, but never him. Especially not while grabbing his arm like it had offended him somehow.
“I didn’t say anythi-”
“You think I’m stupid don’t you? I heard you, coward.” The brunette let go of him and Winnie held the now slightly reddened wrist as his confusion only grew.
“Of course you didn’t. Whatever, I’ll see you later.”
Before Winnie could respond or reach out to stop him, the other stormed off in the opposite direction on his own but not without sending him a glare before he left.
He messed up again.
The problem was he didn’t know what he said.
Did he not like hockey anymore? Was that topic a bad idea?
For the first time, Winnie felt like their end was near.
He didn't know how long he stood in place before his legs finally started moving again, what he did know was the chances of fixing their friendship were lower than they were previously at the start of the day. The Augustine he knew and the one he was faced with felt like different people now.
It was like there was a stranger in his skin.
———————————————
Winnie was 18 when he wished he never thought about love at all.
A long time had passed since his last conversation with Augustine, and it was now the summer.
Their relationship only got worse after the conversation on their walk back to their houses, always off when the other one is present.
If anyone asked Winnie if he expected this only a few years prior, he would be beyond confused. The boy couldn’t have predicted a fallout as bad as this one.
He was going to move soon, they didn’t need to deal with this much longer.
That was what he thought, at least. When it came to the day right before they moved, their parents made them hang out together again. Instead of what they may have typically done a while back, they opted to go on one last car ride together to talk one last time.
It wasn’t like the fact they grew apart this badly wasn’t his fault. He’s the one who stopped talking despite Augustine’s attempts.
He’s the one who never responded after…

Winnie was beyond nervous, but to say he wasn’t excited was a lie. As much as he may have avoided acknowledging it, he missed the other dearly. He found the other waiting for him outside, avoiding eye contact which Winnie didn’t blame him for. They got into the car in silence, the drive continued that way for a while.
Winnie didn’t know what to do, so he pretended nothing happened. He was too focused on making sure his legs don’t go numb while he’s driving, the last thing they needed was a car accident.
As if life was trying to make things hard for him intentionally, that's exactly what they found themselves set up for.
Stranded in a frozen car, suddenly in the middle of winter, dealing with situations beyond their comprehension after a fight in the car.
First staring at the frozen corpses of their child selves, being chased by an..elk-bear monstrosity, falling into what looked like an endless hole, the list went on..
Augustine was searching for a way to leave the entire time, to figure out what happened, but Winnie was unable to get himself to move or put in the same effort.
They were currently in his house, or what looked to be it, and Augustine was searching the rooms. He was sitting on the piles of boxes trying to think of something to help, trying not to freeze to his death.
His gaze lingered on the stairs as memories played out in his mind.
The day he fell down the stairs and broke his legs, the way Augustine left.
When he tripped and was found by someone else, when he waited for Augustine’s return before he passed out for it to never come.
When he truly started questioning the very core of their relationship.
He was not.. Angry. He was confused.
Months later, he still didn’t have an answer as to why. He didn’t know what they were anymore, and it hurt.
It hurt worse than anything, but he didn't blame the other. Augustine didn’t act without reason, he wasn’t the irrational type.
The phrase Augustine said moments before was looping endlessly in his head.
Before he fell- before Winnie LET him fall.
Begging him to hold onto his hands properly and pull him up.
“Please don’t let go. I’m your friend. We’re friends.”
The silence that followed will haunt him.
“We are friends, right?”
The same question he asked himself for months.
He was dragged out of his trance hearing mumbling behind him. Augustine was standing there, a dark look in his eyes.
Darker than Winnie had ever seen from him.
He was..worried.
“Auggie?”
The mumbling continued.
“Augustine? Hello?”
No response.
It took a while for the other to respond, he seemed just as confused as he was.
His chest felt heavy as they both stood there, while he could blame it on paranoia caused by the situation as they are both standing on top of a staircase reminding him of the fall, it wasn’t that.
They needed to talk.
They couldn’t go on like this, one of them needed to do something to break their silence.
Augustine tried and was either met with nothing before or what had happened when they were in the car, it was only right that he began.
“..We can’t go on like this.” He began.
Augustine’s eyes shot up to meet his and Winnie’s, and for the first time in a while he felt familiar.
He continued talking, only pausing to take a breath knowing if he stopped he would freeze up. For the first time in years, he saw himself getting through to his friend.
When he finished, he saw the way Augustine’s lips quivered, the way he shook slightly, he looked the most fragile he ever has. Like a single gust of wind could break him apart. Winnie hated seeing the one he looked up to and loved so dearly look that way, knowing he was part of the reason only made him hate it more.
The dams broke as Augustine’s words spilled out, years of struggle being put before his very eyes.
His chest felt tight, he never thought actions he never thought much of hurt the other this badly, yet here he was listening to it all.
Responding was something he didn’t feel himself do, more truthful than he ever was.
Pouring their hearts out in his house while it was snowing indoors was never something either of them expected to do, but here they were.
“There’s nothing in this world that can replace you.”
“I’m sorry…! I’m really sorry…!”
“I should’ve respected your line…!”
“I should’ve thought about how you’d feel, I should’ve put myself in your shoes…!”
“But I was too blinded by admiration back then that-”
“I couldn’t see that you were my one and only friend before my hero!”
“It must’ve been so frustrating… It must’ve been so upsetting…!”
“You don’t have to forgive me, I know apologizing now won’t change the past…”
“But I just want you to know this…!”
Winnie could hardly process a single word coming out of his mouth, Augustine stood in front of him with his mouth agape taking in everything.
He took that as an invitation to continue.
“You are the coolest and brightest person I have ever met in my whole life, Augustine!”
“I was only able to do all the things I’ve accomplished so far because you encouraged me back then…!”
“Because you gave me hope. You work hundreds, thousands, million times harder than me… And I remind myself every day how lucky I am to have ever met a friend like you…!”
“...-You’re amazing like that!-..”
Winnie’s heart ached at every tear that dropped, the other tried to stop but he couldn’t. They momentarily panicked when he couldn’t breathe through the tears, but it was only expected after such a long time of bottling everything up.
Everything felt worth it again when he saw his smile.
The one he knew, the smile that drew him in from the start.
This was the Augustine he knew.
They had to get back to reality, if his theory was correct then he knew how to do so.
They just needed to hurry up before their time runs out, Winnie believed in them, they could do it together.
He finally felt complete again, the hole in his heart filled simply by a single conversation.
Maybe he didn’t regret thinking about love all these years, all he needed was a reminder.
A reminder was exactly what he got, and he could not be more grateful for it.
For the first time in years, they were truly friends.
They were not alone.
———————————————
It had been around 3 months since the car accident.
Since the two were trapped in an upside down car, experiencing a world made up of their own horrors.
Since they finally, truly became the friends they always thought they were.
The speech they had, the chance to finally bond again and come clean about everything, took so much more weight off of Augustine's shoulders than he could have ever imagined it would. Sure, the cost was a broken leg, but it also meant that Winnie got to stay longer too.
Augustine could never describe how it felt looking at his friend again, finally seeing a friend rather than a competitor. Someone to relax around again rather than someone he was inferior to. Winnie did all he did to be like him of all people and all he saw were false attempts to tear him down and take his place.
Part of him can’t imagine that anymore, the same part that yearned to talk to Winnie again since the accident the winter before that. The same part that kept him up at night about not helping, not doing something, anything to help him when he fell down those stairs and broke his legs.
He had one broken leg and support yet he was still struggling, still healing from the consequences of it. It had made for a fun joke though, making Winnie bring or do stuff for him because as the driver it was easy to blame him for the crash and therefore the break. At first Winnie looked incredibly guilty when it was brought up, going silent before apologizing so unlike himself. It took a few weeks to get him to see it as the joke it was, but when that worked he never got to live it down.
It wasn’t like he seemed to mind though, frequently asking Augustine if he wanted anything else after he brought up the idea of feeling like having something of any sort and getting up on his own, even if it was merely a passing thought or mood.
It was…nice.
What was not nice on the other hand was the days itching closer to the new moving date.
Augustine finally healed, which meant Winnie would be moving soon.
He would leave to go to the college they both wanted. Oddly, instead of sparking feelings of anger or envy this time, he felt more melancholic about the thought.
As the day came closer and closer, a sense of emptiness overtook him. Winnie was the same, they hung together a lot more than they have in the last few years as a whole, but the departure always felt wrong.
Despite their talk, they both knew there were still words unsaid between them. Neither of them had the guts to come clean about them, but they both knew something was still missing.
Augustine’s realization came when he felt funny after hanging out with Winnie for a while. The taller had gotten tired after their outing, falling asleep on him at some point during their conversation. He didn’t notice at first, too distracted going on about some topic that came up. He was a man of strong opinions, and those opinions he was gonna tell.
He only noticed when the sound of soft snoring reached his ears. The blond was fully leaned up against him, sound asleep.
This was..the most relaxed Augustine saw him in some time. It had been a long time since they were in a position like that, he never counted, though.
He couldn’t help but stare, a̶d̶m̶i̶r̶i̶n̶g̶ looking at the other. He had changed over the years (obviously), both mentally and physically as expected. He was a lot taller now, as opposed to the little height difference they had as children. Despite that and his generally bigger build, he still carried that gentle air around him, something he welcomed, really. A threatening Winnie didn’t sound very entertaining, he’d know by now.
Only after Winnie left did he realize how much..lighter? He had felt it. Something was different, but not in the same way as before. It was good, or at least so he thought. It didn’t feel suffocating or unfamiliar.
…He had fallen again, hadn’t he?
Augustine tried to push that thought away for days, as the thought of it made his brain hurt too much to think about it. He couldn’t be bothered and quite frankly preferred to ignore the existence of those feelings as a whole! And so that's what he did.
Winnie would move soon, the feelings would fade, they’d go back to just being best friends and he’d NEEEVER have to think about it again!
..or that's what he’d hoped, and oh how wrong he was.
The days passed fast. Faster than they should have, both of them hated it but time wouldn’t slow down for them. Afterall, it’s their own fault they didn’t speak for a long time, they lost their spark and almost burned down their friendship entirely out of their own stupidity.
That's why it didn’t feel real when they had to say goodbye. They may have nearly split apart, but they were always near. Winnie never felt as comfortable as he did with Augustine around anyone else, and Augustine never felt complete without him there.
It made his stomach churn.
“Don’t you dare end up falling down another set of stairs in that college will you? I can’t help you there to pay this back” The brunette half heartedly complained, visibly struggling to come up with anything to say.
“I won’t, I won't! You don’t set things on fire in exchange, deal?” Winnie giggled.
“That was ONE time-”
“One too many!~”
The sound of a car horn cut Augustine off before he could throw a witty response back at his companion, Winnie’s parents telling them to hurry up before they were late.
Whatever happy mood they were in dissipated as fast as it originally came along, both of them going silent.
“..You’ll come back eventually, right?” Augustine asked in a voice far quieter, smaller, than Winnie ever wanted to hear from him. It wasn’t right.
“Of course I will!” he shot back almost immediately, almost offended the other thought that at all. Really who did he take him for?
“Good, who else would praise elks for existing the same way you do every christmas?” Going back to the previous atmosphere and feel of their conversation felt better than keeping the heavy feeling their goodbye gave. At least one last bit of entertainment for them.
Though it couldn’t last long, Winnie’s parents were clearly getting impatient to the point both boys saw it without sparing them more than a simple glance.
“They’re still better than your bears, but we might need to continue this conversation another time, being late is hardly ideal for moving again, you know?” Although it was meant to be a joke, Winnie’s tone failed to convey that, sounding more down than anything.
“Stay safe on the car ride then you idiot”
“That's hardly up to me,but I can try?”
“Good, I’ll never let it go in the afterlife if you don’t” The eyeroll Augustine did could be felt, without even looking at him.
“I get it I get it, goodbye for now then? I’ll be back as soon as possible, I promise you” Tone changing from his usual up-beat one, Winnie gave his friend the last hug they would have for a long time.
Augustine didn’t hesitate to return the hug, hardly keeping himself together at all.
“I guess so”
“Do you not even want to say anything to me anymore? Im hurt</3”
Augustine sighed, his mind felt like too much of a wreck to process the events that followed.
They both had to separate as Winnie walked to his parents’ car, whatever washed over Agustine really decided to do so at the worst time possible because not even a moment after the other had turned around, he found himself blurting out the one sentence he was trying to avoid and forget about for months.
‘I love you’
Every part of him that hoped Winnie didn’t hear him was let down as he paused and turned to look at the brunette, who was processing the fact those words came out of his lips at all.
Opposed to what he was expecting, the one in blue smiled at him with a smile more genuine than he has ever seen from him.
“That will be something else we talk about when I come back” he said, voice maintaining the calm feel it carried with it earlier in the conversation.
“I- uhm- oka. Yes, it will be” Augustine stuttered, trying to gather his nerves and thoughts as fast as possible. What was that??
“For the record, I love you too”
With that, he turned and ran to the car, not hearing whatever the other said after him. Whatever he yelled out was a topic they were to tackle later.
Finally, after 6 years of pining, Winnie no longer felt strange.
His love was requited.

I DID IT FOR YOU – Tyler Galpin x fem!vampire!reader
WEDNESDAY MAJOR SPOILERS !!
Summary - Wednesday's plan for you to stay away from Tyler after she found out that he's the Hyde.
Tumblr media
—Wednesday, don't —. Enid said very seriously. More serious than Wednesday had ever heard her before. The blonde girl thought her friend's plan was merciless. Even for her. —I'm sure that if we talk to her... She'll understand.
Wednesday knew you wouldn't. She had spent enough time with you to already know how you would react. Dramatic, skeptical, and on the defensive for sure. Even if she'd tell you that she had seen it. That she had seen him turn into that monster. You'd never believe her because that's what love does. It blinds you. And Wednesday was completely fine and grossed at the same time with you being head over heels for him because not only it was reciprocate (which was even more disgusting) but also because she thought he was a nice one. And he would never hurt you. So she would have to do it for him.
—Wednesday, please —. Enid begged while her friend prepared her bag to go to Jericho.
—There's no other way.
Once Wednesday arrived in Jericho, Tyler was getting things ready at the Weathervane to close the cafe. It had been a long day for him and he could only think about when you would arrive. He would drive you both to Nevermore and he would sneak into your shared dorm room. Enid would say that she was glad to see him again, and Wednesday would just hum at his presence. You four would talk for a bit before going to sleep, him sitting in your bed wearing the pajamas you kept in your room for him and you by his side, playing with his big hands as he talked with your friends. Then you would fall asleep with your head on his chest after he peppered all your face with kisses. He'd hug you tight against his body, not letting you go at any moment of the night, and checking on you all the time. Were you hungry? Were you having a nightmare? Were you feeling sick? He was there.
—We're closed —. Tyler announced to the person going into the Weathervane at that time of the night.
—Then you should lock your doors.
Tyler turned around to see Wednesday. His expression changed after knowing that it was his friend. —Actually I was waiting for y/n.
—There are some real sick people out there, Tyler. You should be careful.
—Yeah, my dad told me what happened with Xavier. Pretty nuts —. After mentioning Xavier, Tyler noticed how Wednesday's posture became tense. —Are you okay? I know you and him... Well, had this thing–
"We had nothing. And yes, I'm fine. Perfectly fine." She said with her eyes locked on the boy in front of her. "It has made me revalue things." Wednesday walked slowly around the cafe. By the time she stopped, she made sure that Tyler had turned in on himself so he had his back to the door. The perfect position so he wouldn't see you coming.
"Like what?"
"Like who I can trust."
Wednesday took a step towards Tyler. He frowned at her sudden approach. "And I've come to the conclusion that you are the only one worth of my trust." The girl moved closer to Tyler, and none of them said anything else. Wednesday stood on her tiptoes and connected her lips with Tyler's. Then, she moved away from him to see his reaction.
"Wednesday..." Tyler murmured against her friend's lips right before the girl stood on her tiptoes again and kissed him one more time. This time the kiss was longer, Wednesday didn't separate and Tyler was glad that she didn't. His head told him to push Wednesday away, but instead, he cupped one of her cheeks and kissed her back. Your heart felt heavy inside your chest as you watched the scene, your knees felt weak, and your vision was blurred thanks to the tears in your eyes. You wanted to run but your eyes were locked on Tyler and Wednesday kissing. Your brain was telling you to burn that image in your mind so you would always remember you had a reason to hate the person you once loved the most.
Wednesday's eyes met yours when she parted ways with Tyler, her cold stare making you feel small. Tyler frowned in front of Wednesday and immediately after, he turned to see what she was looking at. He could feel his heart beating so hard against his chest that he even thought would stop. Tyler tried to get out of the cafe when he saw you leaving, but Wednesday quickly blocked his way, knowing that his instinct would make him follow you. "Stay away from her." She stated, her black eyes staring deeply into Tyler's, her lips pressed together, a sign of how serious she was being. They both shared a face of mutual disgust for each other; him because of what he just did, and her because of whom he had become. Tyler bumped into her shoulder but Wednesday was not going to give up so easily. She tried to stop him one more time by grabbing his arm, but she barely had him in her hand when with a sharp movement Tyler managed to escape her.
Wednesday followed Tyler outside. You were walking down the street in the middle of the road, hot tears rolling down your cheeks, and your body shaking because of your shorts and rapid breaths. Tyler called your name a few times and even had to do a little run to catch you. Wednesday was walking slowly behind you two. Her attention was always on Tyler and on what his next move could be.
"Y/n, wait, please."
You didn't listen to him and kept walking, with your fist clenched so tight that you could feel your long and sharp nails sinking into your skin. His hand grabbed your arm and made you stop and turn around to look at him. "Explain what?" You yelled to his face. Your eyes were dark red, the veins under your eyes that appeared only when you were really hungry or when you were really mad were decorating your skin, and you were fighting to not let your fangs out.
"She was the one that kissed me. I promise. She–”
Your jaw clenched. "I don't fucking care about who kissed who!" You snapped his hand off you and you threatened him with your index finger, pointing directly at his throat with your long and sharp nails. “You were kissing her back." Tyler craned his neck. Your lower lip was trembling while tears kept running down your cheeks. You didn't expect him to say anything else, and there was nothing he could say that would make you feel any better.
"I'm sorry, y/n–"
"I fucking hate you, and I hope I never have to see you again." Your words echoed inside his head. You lost interest in Tyler, who stood in front of you with glossy eyes, completely numb to everything that happened after what you said to him. You focused on Wednesday, who was a few steps behind him, watching the scene from the distance.
"You got what you wanted?"
"I did not want this."
"Of course you did. You know, because of things like this are why you are alone, and because you fucking deserve it." You said to your friend. Wednesday swallowed but showed no other reaction. It was enough to let you know that your words affected her. You looked at Tyler one last time, his face was pale and he couldn't make eye contact with you because of how ashamed he was. The next thing his eyes saw was you running as fast as you could so neither he nor Wednesday could catch you. You ran so fast that your legs started to burn from how weak they felt, ready to give up at any moment. It was strictly prohibited to go to the forest since Eugene got attacked by that monster, but at this point, you wouldn't mind about the Hyde finding you.
"You planned this." Tyler said to Wednesday. He didn't turn to look at her, just thinking about her face was making him feel sick. It was a very big coincidence that she kissed him and a few seconds later you appeared. He told her that he was waiting for you, but Tyler was pretty sure that Wednesday already knew that you were coming. "Why would you do this?"
"I want you away from her."
Tyler's lower lip trembled as he watched you disappear. Wednesday's words turned into the most annoying ringing sound in his ears, and then, all of a sudden, his breathing was out of control and he could feel that familiar pressure on his head as all of his muscles and bones writhed. You got lost running into the woods until you tripped and fell to your knees. You sobbed loudly as you blamed yourself for not have listened to Xavier when he warned you about Tyler. A part of you wanted to never see Tyler again. The other part of you wished that he would've gone after you, hugged you against his body when he'd found you lying on the ground, and allowed you to cry your eyes out on him.
At the end of the day, you expected Tyler to comfort in you the same way you did that night when you found him in the same forest you were. With blood covering his body and dripping from his mouth, extremely confused, and with that hiker's body completely dismembered by his side.

You’ll never get used to going to bed on your own. You never sleep as well as you would when he’s at home. His side of the bed is so awfully cold, and you wonder what he’s up to right now.
The band's only gone for a couple of days, he’ll be back by Sunday evening, but it’s still entirely too long for your taste. Nick had told you ahead of time that he wanted to visit a few friends while they’re out in Texas, and you really can’t blame him. They have so little time to be in one place. Still, you can’t help but wish that he was here instead.
The house is entirely too quiet without him.
You pull the duvet tighter around your body. It’s starting to get cold in and you miss his warmth.
As if he’s reading your thoughts, your phone pings with a notification.
Can’t sleep. Are you still up?
He was so nervous before they left. Practically bouncing off the walls with excitement. Hearing that they’d open for Linkin Park out of all people had made you nervous, and you can’t imagine what it did to your poor boy’s brain.
You reply immediately.
Can’t sleep either. Miss you :(
A moment later your phone buzzes in your hand and the goofy pictures your assigned to his contact lights up on your screen.
“Hi baby.” you say quietly, laying your phone down next to you on your pillow.
Nick lets out a content sigh, “Hi.”
Even through the phone you can hear the nervous edge in his voice. You hate that you can’t be there with him. Sometimes you think that you should just quit your job so that you can come with them whenever you want. Surely, you’ll be able to find something that will allow you to work remotely.
“How’s everything going? Are you ready for tomorrow?”
“Rehearsal went really well. The place is massive. I don’t know if we’ve ever played a venue that big.”
He drifts off into a rambling account of the last two days. The issues they had with the hotel, the horrible breakfast buffet and how Ruffilo had gotten lost in the bowels of the venue – twice.
You love getting to hear what they get up to.
Hearing his giggle sound from the small speaker makes your heart feel a little bit lighter.
There’s a little lull in your conversation, and you think that sleep is starting to catch up with him.
“I want to see you.” he says then, “Can I see you?”
It’s entirely innocent, and you swear that you can practically hear the pout on his face.
You can’t say no to him. Not when he sounds so sweet.
You can just make out the outline of his face in the dimly lit room.
His face lights up when yours comes into focus.
Nick’s lying on his side, mirroring your position. And it takes you a moment to realise that he’s on his usual side of the bed, with the phone facing him from your side. It stings just a little bit.
“I’m so excited to hear how things go tomorrow. I’m sure you’ll play your best show yet.”
You always tell him the same thing, because you know it’s true. They’re all just getting better and better with every show they play, and you’ve loved watching them grow from the tiny local venues to the big places they play now.
Nick smiles when you tell him about your latest trip to the hardware store in pursuit of the right paint for your living room.
The conversation continues to drift on, and you’re not sure who of you fell asleep first. Or when you feel asleep for that matter. All you know is that your phone is dead in the morning.
When it finally has enough battery to turn on again, you find another text from Nick on your phone.
Good morning thank you for staying up with me. I’ll call you later. Love you.
You’re more sure than ever before that you need to find a job that will allow you to travel without having to bend backwards to get time off.

Omg I was thinking about RTC again and it got angsty fast😭
I kept thinking about before Hydra, Y/n and the boys thinking about kids. Thinking about retirement to start raising a family of their own
But when Y/n is "killed" the boys feel sick thinking about a baby. Even seeing a woman with a baby out at the store makes them feel nauseous.
Then after they get y/n back, and shes back in their arms, they're catching themselves thinking about it again.
----
I imagine you three are in bed one early morning, and you're still fast asleep, but Simon and Johnny are content with just watching you. They find themselves imagining a baby sleeping on your chest. Would it have Simon's hair, and your eyes? Or Johnny's nose and your ears?
But just imagine the heartbreak they feel when you tell them about that procedure. How you can't have kids because of it. But its even worse for you, seeing the way their faces crumble, their shoulders sag, it makes your heart hurt
Tumblr media
RAHHHHHHHH I’M SCREAMING AT MY PHONE
i NEED you to know that this scenario/concept has occupied my rat brain for SO long omg we’re on the SAME WAVELENGTH i’m telling ya.
now, i’m just doing little bullet points because i PROMISE i’ll be including this in the fic (or at the very least a long ass drabble, so fem/afab readers can read that while gn/male readers can choose to stick to the og fic that doesn’t have reproductive organs mentioned)

pre capture:
simon and johnny would’ve definitely dreamed and fantasized about having children with you. building a family with you.
they would go back and forth on who should be the father, although clearly they would be happy either way! but all in good fun, they would imagine a little boy with johnny’s fluffy hair (maybe trimmed into a mohawk to match his daddy’s) paired up with your eyes. or a little boy with your nose and hair paired up with simon’s dark brown eyes.
but what they hope for the most is a baby girl, a mirror image of their favorite person.
because they already love you so so much and your features and attributes already occupy their mind so much, they just melt at the thought of a little mini you running around.
they could just imagine your baby girl as a perfect mirror image of you. with your bright, joyful eyes and the giggly smile whenever she would laugh at johnny’s tickling and simon’s jokes.
the two boys make a tentative plan to retire in a few years time, after ensuring that there were other skilled soldiers to take their place. they would have had a large home be built for the three of you, with plenty of extra space for any babies. they would either decide on a cabin or a cottage, either one would be built on a nice plot of land. big enough for you to garden and grow produce, as well as your favorite flowers. the boys would tend to the land and make sure the grass doesn’t get overgrown. the land would also give plenty of space for any dogs to run around and tire themselves out. the boys would also make sure to have a hot tub or pool installed in the backyard, because they knew how you loved to swim — especially in the summer.
so that was their plan. building a perfect, cozy home for you and their future family. with every fixture and feature that you ever wanted, with the walls painted in any color.
they would just have to overcome their fears of confessing to you first.
of course, they never got that opportunity.
captured:
the second that they saw the footage of you “dying”, the hopes of raising children died with you.
every time a child was mentioned, a pit would form at the bottom of their stomachs. that could be them. that could be the three of you, with your little family. raising a perfect kid.
any time that someone on base would bring their baby to base, the boys couldn’t focus on anything. their hands would shake and their breath would get heavy. if they were doing target practice, their shots would miss the target. not by a lot, but enough for anyone to notice. enough for them to curse and reload their gun. if they were training, their defenses wouldn’t be as strong. their heads wouldn’t be in the game. they would just be thinking the entire time about that random private bouncing their newborn baby on their hip. god forbid the baby was a girl, too. if it was, all they could think about was that you should be bouncing a giggling baby girl on your hip. smiling down at your mini-you, even while you checked up on patients.
meanwhile, the very first time that you were unconscious at the HYDRA headquarters, those doctors had sliced through your lower abdomen and yanked out any of your reproductive organs. any fallopian tubes. anything that could be used to carry a child or give birth.
the 141 wouldn’t even know you were missing yet, and here you were — the ability to have children being stripped away.
back to the boys. whenever they were on a mission, those feelings would follow them.
i just imagine, the 141 being stationed in las almas. remember the scene where soap and ghost are driving with alejandro and rudy? and they see the kids being sold balloons by the cartel members who were holding guns?
aside from being disgusted in general by cartel members preying on kids, they were also disgusted because those kids could be their kids. their kids with you.
they would feel so nauseous. their hands would be clammy and their breath would be heavy, panting.
whenever they saw those kids, they couldn’t help but imagine them with your features. with your eyes and your nose and ears. with your hair and your smile. they imagined them as a mini-you.
that thought just about made them jump out of the vehicle as it was moving, and shield those kids from the cartel. they would gently push the kids behind their hulking forms so they would be safe from drugs and assault rifles.
post hydra:
okay, so pretty quickly after you were recovered back to 141, the thought of having a family with you had returned to them — despite their best efforts.
you might not even remember everything yet. hell, you might not remember anything yet.
all you do know is these people are familiar. you get flashes and fragments of memories that are filled with the 141, especially simon and johnny.
in the flashes of memories, you see a man’s blue eyes look at you with joy and yearning. his eyes would crinkle at the edges as he would smile or laugh. lord, his laugh. it was comforting. it was loud and warm and all consuming. it was such a harsh contrast from all of the sick cackling that would echo throughout the bunker, from all of the handlers and other subjects that would revel in your pain. his laugh was right. it was home.
the flashes of memories you had for simon were more… conflicting. the flashes would be straight from the bunker, when you were getting manhandled during training or taking flat-out beatings for punishment. you would remember all of the times that your back would get thrown across your handlers knee. you would remember the nauseating crack that would send chills down your back, and it would still make you recoil when you hear it in your mind. you would remember getting thrown into walls and crumbling the drywall, or getting thrown into mirrors and the shards of glass getting embedded in your back.
how does simon tie into that, you ask? your memories would begin to splice together, some in the wrong order or with the wrong details. in those memories of you getting beaten, you wouldn’t see your handler or some hydra soldier. no, you would see a hulking man wearing all black military gear — sporting a united kingdom patch and a skull mask.
so with every hit or punch, every throw or crack, you would see the same man that claims he knew you before you were captured. the man who called himself “ghost” or “lieutenant” would be the hydra soldier throwing the punches. he would be the one breaking your bones.
because of this, your breath would hitch and your posture would straighten as soon as he came into your sights. your mind and body would go into fight or flight mode.
of course, sooner or later, your memories became clear and untangled. they were in the right order and they included all of the correct details.
you would still have walls up after you remembered everything, but you wouldn’t be skeptical of them anymore.
when you’re actually with simon and johnny, it’s.. definitely an adjustment. it would be one thing if you were with them before you’re capture but you never even got to start with that! you had to start with being in a relationship with them after you had already been tortured, brainwashed and amputated. you had also already had a forced hysterectomy..
which leads to the problem at hand.
you would spend each and every day at the base with a pit at the bottom of your stomach. you would be guilt ridden. guilty about all the people you killed, all the people you hurt. every young black widow you murdered in order to spare them from the abuse of cruel handlers. you would feel guilty because you knew how much simon and johnny wanted a family — how much they wanted kids. and you knew that you could never give them that. literally, you could never give them that.
when you heard them whispering to each other, gushing, about, “how adorable your child would look!” or “I wonder if they would have her eyes!”, you shut down.
you added another insecurity to your already growing list. another reason to numbly stare at yourself in the mirror and hate what you see.
you shut down. and no one noticed.
for months you would put on a façade of still having a uterus. you would pretend to wince from cramps, even going so far as to clutch your stomach in pain. you would get some menstrual products from the medical station and pocket them in your duffel bag as proof that you “had periods”.
while you kept up this façade in order to make your boys happy, simon and johnny would find themselves imagining you swollen and glowing with their baby. they would imagine the joy written on your face when you read the positive pregnancy test. they would imagine you sprinting into their arms, laughing into their necks as they wrapped their arms around you. always careful not to squeeze you too tight. they would imagine your bump growing gradually, week by week, taking pictures of it every time. simon and johnny would always have one hand on your baby bump in those pictures. they would imagine themselves holding your hair up for you while you threw up into a bowl, rubbing your back to comfort you. they would imagine shushing and cooing to you while you experienced the sickness, to make sure you knew you weren’t alone. they would imagine your ankles and feet growing swollen over the trimesters, and they could just imagine themselves rubbing your feet while you laid on the couch and watched television, your hands resting on your baby bump. they would imagine preparing for the baby and they could feel their hearts filling with warmth as they imagined it. they would design a nursery in the home they bought, filled with stuffed animals and children’s books. they would paint the walls in a pastel color, a nice soft sage green that wasn’t too boyish or too girly. it would be just right. they would buy a white wooden bassinet and they would sit down in that room and build it with such care. they would purchase the most comfortable baby mattress and pair it with hypoallergenic sheets and baby blankets, both with cute prints and designs. one blanket would have cute little giraffes and tigers and lions, while another blanket would have cute puppies and kittens, with bows and pink details. finally, they would imagine you giving birth. of course, they would have been heavily prepared for the hospital trip. they would have multiple duffel bags packed and sitting right next to your shared bed, packed with all the necessities — chargers, headphones, blankets, spare clothes and more. they would claim each side of your hospital bed, simon on one side and johnny on the other. both sitting in those uncomfortable chairs but never uttering a complaint because it wasn’t important, and frankly their own comfort never would’ve even crossed their mind. not when you were having contractions every minute after enduring labor for almost twenty hours. they would be holding your hands so so tight, and letting you squeeze their even tighter. they would already feel bruises and sprains forming because of your super strength, but that was a small price to pay for the life you were bringing into the world. they would murmur comforting words and encouragement into your ears, leaning into you as you pushed and pushed. they would use their free hand to wipe away any sweat or hair that might have clung to your face. they would pepper sweet, thankful kisses to your face over and over — so grateful to you for enduring such pain and exhaustion. then, they would finally imagine the moment where the babies cry would echo throughout the hospital room.
their fantasies would soon be dashed away when they find out the truth.
they found out when you and the task force were packing up for a mission that would be spanning a whole month. you were done packing up when laswell had approached you in the locker room where everyone was packing, and she was carrying a grocery bag with her. she made a beeline for you and when you asked what she needed, she held out the grocery bag for you to take. you peeked inside. it was full of pads and tampons. she had brought them for you to pack for the mission, because she didn’t know about your procedure either.
so, because you thought everyone else was too preoccupied with packing to watch or listen to your conversation, you waved her and the bag off.
her brows crinkled in confusion before shooting up in excitement. “oh my god - are you..?” she trailed off, gesturing to simon and johnny, who were still putting their gear on.
you let out a bitter laugh at the sheer irony. “oh god, no.” it was laughable at this point.
“so don’t you need replacements of your other products?” she insisted.
you sighed. “no, i won’t be needing them.”
“you won’t be needing them now.. or?”
“ever? yeah. i won’t be needing them ever.” you grabbed your duffel bag and walked out of the locker room. she paused for a moment and then her face froze in realization.
what you didn’t know is that your two boyfriends had just caught the last minute of your conversation, where you admitted to never needing menstrual products.
and it didn’t take a rocket scientist to put two and two together on the reason why.

Against Better Judgement - Part 1
I have re-entered my hyperfixation of The Boys due to season 4's release. Unfortunately I am a maladaptive daydreamer and can insert an original character into any given piece of media. So this is a Butcher x OC story, where OC is Hughie's big sister...so it does fit the story of the show pretty much to a tee (that is just how my brain cooks it up, sorry) - but there will be more details, side stories, etc to make it more fun for the Butcher storyline! And of course, it's written in OC's pov, so you get to know her backstory and thought process quite a bit. Please let me know what you think!
Tumblr media
At 2 o’clock in the afternoon, Mickey should have been awake. A functioning, stable, put-together 29 year-old would be. Not Mickey. She was passed out in bed (a full size mattress resting on the floor in her room), her body still trying to process all the alcohol she had consumed the night before. And the morning before. As well as the few consecutive days before that. That’s how it had been for as long as she could remember, at least since –
The phone rang. Mickey groggily lifted her head from the pillow, reaching for her cell phone. She had apparently neglected to plug it in before she fell asleep last night. Hughie? She stumbled over to the corner, where her charger was plugged in, not quite able to reach the bed. I’ve been meaning to call him.
“Hughie? I’m sorry, I really have–,” she started, already guiltily rambling, but she was cut off by her brother’s wails. “Hughie?” He wasn’t stopping. “Hugh? Hugh? Hey, what happened? Hughie?” Mickey was already standing up and putting her shoes on, despite the hangover-induced migraine that was making her ears ring.
Hughie sniffled, gasping, then went silent. His breath was shaky. “Hughie?” Mickey warily said to her brother.
“She, she was j-just standing there,” he started.
“Who was? Hugh. I’m on my way, but I need you to tell me what happened.”
“We were just…I was leaving work, and she…,” his voice cracked as Mickey grabbed her keys, wallet, and flask. Empty. She’d grab something on the way to fix whatever had ruffled her little brother’s feathers. He was a sensitive kid, always had been. It was probably just some car accident he had seen while going on lunch, or even worse, he had been riding his bike and, distracted by the great Billy Joel, accidentally hit a kid. That had happened before. That would make sense. Everything is okay. The bad stuff happens to me, not him.
“Robin.” He was gasping for air now. Mickey’s heart dropped. “She was one step off the fucking…and he just came out of nowhere…she– I, I didn’t have time to…God, Mick, oh my God, Mickey…Robin, she’s gone.”
Mickey was about to open the door, but she turned around and threw up in the kitchen sink.
“The service was beautiful,” Dad said. Mickey had to stifle her laughter. She always did during times like these. Funerals, memorials, the like. The drinking helped, for a little bit at least. When it stops helping, it just means you need to drink more.
Mickey took a sip of her drink – some shitty wine her dad had likely bought to assuage the “divorcee blues” – and took a look at her brother. He was staring forward, scowling, with blank eyes. She knew what he was thinking. Hughie was asking himself what he could have done differently. What he could have said, or in his instance, where he could have stood differently. He’s wishing it was him instead of Robin. Maybe he’s thinking about joining Robin in death, or maybe that had just been Mickey when her husband died.
She had stood, motionless, next to Liam’s casket, as friends and family came up to her and gave their condolences. Mickey had sat with her head down, avoiding eye contact with Liam’s mother and father. He had been an only child. Perfect Liam. Hughie had nudged her to signal that it was the part of the funeral where she was supposed to stand for the family honors. Had they never married, the “honors” would have gone to his parents. She was the one that wanted a big, white wedding.
Mickey’s eyes had been squeezed shut as the rifle volleys were fired. Why do they fire blanks at a military funeral? The loud noises can’t be good for attendees suffering from PTSD. Like Liam had been. Mickey counted the shots.
One. Liam's face flashed in her mind.
Two. She squeezed her eyes tighter.
Three. Everything Mickey had ever wanted. Gone.
One of the other soldiers started playing Taps. She didn’t even have tears left, just rage. Mickey wanted to grab the stupid fucking bugle and slam it on her husband’s casket until it split open. She wanted to pick Liam up by the collar of his stupid fucking uniform and shake him back to life. She wanted to scream at him for leaving her a stupid fucking mess. For leaving her alone. All alone. She wanted to smash his head into the pavement until he died. Again.
They handed her – the next of kin – the neatly folded American flag. Mickey didn’t want it; she would have happily given it to her in-laws. She didn’t need another reminder of the mess he had gotten himself, or herself into, for that matter. Liam and his stupid patriotism. He had worshiped Supes, but unlucky for him, wasn’t gifted with any super ability. So he joined the military. For what? A couple years overseas firing at whatever your commanding officer told you to, a shitty government job where you’re just another cog in the wheel of the “Great Big American Dream” (the military industrial complex), and a never ending B-roll of whatever tragedies you had bore witness to. Mickey’s superiority complex had gotten her into psychology, then into the FBI’s training program to be a special agent. But this happened. And when you fire a gun at your officer’s foot – it was the ground next to him…it was never going to actually hit him…she had fantastic aim, and he was pissing her off – you can’t be a special agent.
That left her a widow at 26. Jobless. And an escalating alcoholic.
That wouldn’t happen to Hughie, though. Mickey wouldn’t let it.
She was brought back to reality by her dad. “Michaela, please make sure your brother signs the papers today. It’s what Robin would have wanted” She waved off her dad, scoffing.
The Vought attorney? Paralegal? PR motherfucker. Had some sense of entitlement coming in and asking Hugh to keep his mouth shut. And for only $45,000, as if that could immediately fix his grief. Obviously, it would work in Vought’s favor. No one would ever know that A-Train had run right through Robin, leaving only her hands, still holding on to Hughie’s. And the TV “apology” the asshole had given was disingenuous, to say the least, and a cover-up, to tell the truth. In the middle of the road? Yeah, right.
“Can I think on it?” Hughie asked the suit. Mickey breathed out a sigh of relief. It’s not like she hated Supes in general, but they reminded her of the military – especially Homelander – so each day her distaste for Vought, The Seven, and any asshole with super-strength grew exponentially.
“Good choice,” Mickey told her brother after she hastily escorted the suit out the door. “I know the money seems nice, but in my experience, it only pisses you off more. Plus, you’ll probably blow it on something stupid.”
“Like booze?” Hughie gave a half-smile to his sister for the first time since the accident.
“Ha-ha, asshole. Exactly like booze. I’ll stop when I’m ready to come back to real life.”
“Well while you continue to bury yourself in liquor, I’m going to bury myself in work.”
“Not any time soon, though, right?” Mickey asked, standing up.
“Why not? It’ll be a good distraction.” Hughie shrugged. This behavior wasn’t like Hughie at all, granted she had never witnessed him after he lost a significant other before, not like this. Maybe it will be beneficial, at least more beneficial than the coping mechanisms she chose. Everyone handles grief differently, right?
“Sorry, we’re closing–” Hughie turned to see Mickey walking through the tech store door. “Oh. We are getting ready to close.”
“I know, I know. I’m not here to shop. Now that you’re back at work, stupidly, might I add, I wanted to offer my free labor. I figured we could do the opposite of what we did when we were little and had chores. You get to sit and boss me around, and tell me what to do,” Mickey dropped the Tupperware of funeral food on the checkout counter. “Plus, I brought you dinner.”
“Really? Funeral leftovers?”
Mickey rolled her eyes. “Look, dude, it was already made. Now will you tell me what wires I need to put where so we can go home and–”
Both the Campbell siblings turned to the door. The bell rang, and the door was open, but neither of them could see a customer.
“Who are you?” A voice said.
“What the fuck?” The siblings said in unison.
“Right in front of you, pricks.” They were staring at the voice when whoever it was held up a small disc, waving it in Hughie’s face. “You think I wouldn’t find this thing?”
“What did you do, Hugh?” Mickey asked her brother, gritting her teeth. Wanting revenge on A-Train was one thing, but if her hunch was correct, this invisible guy was none other than Translucent. How did he get tangled up with one of the other Seven?
The Supe grabbed Hugh’s badge. “Hughie,” he jeered, then without warning, slammed Hugh face down into the counter, cracking the glass case. Hugh was launched over the counter. “Pussy! I followed you from the fucking tower,” Translucent said, lifting Hughie up again.
“The fucking tower?” Mickey was now yelling, but still frozen. “What the fuck, Hugh?”
Hughie was then launched into one of the store’s windows, cracking it. She had to do something. “Oh, and who’s this, Hughie? Your little accomplice?” The voice got closer, and Mickey could hear footsteps making their way towards her.
An invisible hand grabbed her by the hair, and she instinctively raised her knee, hard, hoping to hit Translucent where it mattered. He groaned, releasing her hair. Mickey tried to dash over to her brother, but was yanked up by her hair again and thrown backwards into a shelf of routers. Now her and Hughie were both on the ground, coughing, and Mickey still had no fucking clue what was going on. She propped herself up against what was left of the shelf, blinking and trying to reset her eyes.
“Who’s that guy you were with? In the car?” Translucent asked a panting Hughie. “Who was he? He put you up to this?” Now he was screaming, Hughie trying to escape, and Mickey was trying to get herself on her feet.
“I, I don’t know! He was just some Uber driver, okay?” Hughie’s voice cracked as he pleaded with the Supe.
Mickey grabbed an extension cord from the ground and slowly prepared to blindly wrangle their attacker, but unable to see the Supe, she didn’t see him making his way over to the wall closest to her, and in one fell swoop, Translucent grabbed the extension cord and threw it, and Mickey still holding on, to the opposite side of the store. She landed behind the shattered glass counter, still faintly able to understand what was transpiring through the ringing the blow had left in her ears.
“Oh don’t give me some bullshit! Uber driver?” Translucent mocked Hughie. Mickey could see a TV being lifted off its wall mount. “What, you think I’m some fucking idiot?” Translucent was walking over to Hugh, the flat-screen lifted high. “Why’d you plant the bug?”
“Please, please. Please, please, no. Please,” Hughie pleaded.
“We’re The Seven. Earth’s most mighty.”
Mickey had to do something. She propped herself up and took position to leap onto the invisible asshole.
“Champions of the innocent, motherfuc–”
A car drove right into the shop, shattering the windows, knocking down merchandise, and just barely missing Hughie. “Sorry about the mess,” a bearded man said as he exited the vehicle. “You should fuck off, Hughie.”
Mickey stood up shakily. Now she was really confused. “Who the fu–”
The Cockney-accented man turned towards her. “You must be the sister. Sorry to meet’cha under these circumstances, but you two need to scram.”
Holding a tire-iron, the man slowly walked towards where Translucent had landed, smirking. “Well if it ain’t the invisible cunt,” he chuckled to himself, then began swinging blindly around the TV wall. Moments later, he was launched into a rack of pagers.
“Hughie, Hughie, you heard him, we need to go,” Mickey said, trying to usher her brother onto his feet and away from the store.
“No, no,” Hughie stood up, brushing her off. “We can’t leave him here.”
“What the hell are you talking about? Yes, we can!” Mickey was practically pulling Hughie to the emergency exit when he stopped in his tracks. “Hugh. Hugh! No, don’t even–”
Hughie stepped back into the floor of the store with such force that he yanked her back with him. Mickey huffed and ran her hands through her hair. She inhaled and blood ran down her throat, greeting her with the familiar metallic taste.
Brit was attempting – and failing – to wrestle Translucent to the ground. Looked like he was tasting that red metal too, because with an erratic grin, he spat blood all over the Supe, revealing Translucent’s position. Smart. The bearded man then had the upper hand after headbutting the “invisible cunt” and landing a few punches, whilst slowly covering more of the Supe’s body outline with more bloody spit.
Though England put up a good fight, Translucent got one good lick in, and the man was down on the ground. Translucent looked up at Mickey, who, overcome with agitation and confusion, had not moved her feet, and she was now standing directly behind the groaning Brit. She swallowed a mouthful of blood. She was trained for this at one point in time, right? She at least had the pent-up anger for this. Mickey stepped over the Brit’s body.
“Hey, sweetheart, why don’t you just come back to the Tower with me, and I’ll make sure you don’t ever have to see these assholes ever ag–”
Mickey cut him off with a punch, slugging Translucent right across his face. Predatorial asshole. “Fuck,” she hissed, shaking her hand. She forgot how much she hated hand-to-hand combat.
Translucent stumbled a little, but popped back up, rubbing the side of his jaw. “Look, lady, I’ll give you that one, but let’s just–”
Mickey hit him again, this time with an uppercut. He charged back at her, grabbing her hair – again? – and landing a few blows to her stomach. Mickey snapped back into it, grabbing his forearm and pulling herself around so that her back was against the Supe’s chest. She flung her head back. Hard.
The Supe instinctively launched her into the wall. Now she could really taste the blood. But before she could steady herself, Translucent kicked her in the stomach, knocking her through the wall of TVs.
Thankfully, this had given England enough time to regain his strength, and he stood up, ready to attack, when Translucent gave him the same swift kick he had just given Mickey.
“So who are you?” Translucent asked. “Fucking spy?! For who, huh? You’re gonna fucking tell me!” Translucent picked up the Brit’s tire iron from the ground. “Or I’m gonna smash your fucking scalp off! Who the fuck are you?”
Through the Mickey-sized hole in the wall, she could see Brit propped up on one of his elbows, smirking. “I’ll tell you who you are,” he said. “A fucking moron. Translucent doesn’t even mean invisible. It means semi-transparent.” England made a quick glance to the other side of the store, where Mickey was able to faintly see Hughie holding an exposed wire. Hughie’s wire couldn’t reach, so England quickly kicked the Supe, sending him backwards where he waltzed right into the wire.
Translucent screamed as he got electrocuted, lighting up the store. Hughie kept screaming until Translucent’s limp body fell backwards onto the ground.
England stood up with a groan, and through shaky breaths, Hughie asked, “Is he…is he dead?”
The bearded man kicked the Supe. “Well he ain’t movin’.”
Mickey, limping, emerged from the wall she had been kicked through, and ignoring the mystery man and the Supe, yelled at Hughie, “I’m gonna need some answers, Hugh. What the fuck have you gotten into?” She gestured back at England. “And who the fuck is he?”
England put up a hand to silence her. “Whoa, whoa, darlin’, don’t fret. Name’s Butcher, and I’m just a friendly neighbor helpin’ out’ya brother here, alright?” He turned to Hughie. “Now, kid, how’d you know the electric could do the job?”
Hughie was still sitting against the TV wall. “Skin’s carbon…highly conductive. I saw it on, uh, Jimmy Fallon…”
Butcher raised an eyebrow, “Would have taken me forever to work that one out. Good job.” One thing about Hughie is that he knows the most random shit. This time it might have just saved them. Butcher made his way to Translucent’s lifeless body, and against her better judgment, Mickey followed his lead. Hughie wasn’t going to go down for this. “Let’s get ‘em in the boot.”
Hughie brought his hands up to his head. “W-wait, wait what?”
“The trunk,” Mickey and Butcher said in unison.
“See, your sister knows the lingo,” Butcher said while trying to get a grip on the Supe’s upper half.
Hughie looked at his sister, then at Butcher. “No, no, I mean, what are we doing with him?” Hughie was panicking now.
Butcher looked up at Hughie. “Well, Hughie, you just offed one of The Seven, mate.”
Mickey let out a mix of a scoff and a laugh, much to Hughie’s dismay. “Me? I…I…,” He turned his gaze to Mickey. “You’re okay with this, Mick?”
“Well no, but…I mean, he has a point, and I’m not getting in trouble for this.”
“What?! I…I…Butcher, you hit him with a fucking car!” Hughie shouted.
Butcher dropped Translucent’s torso. “Look, potato fucking potahto, we’re all in a shitload of trouble–”
“No, no! No, no, we’re not. He attacked us, and you’re…you’re a federal officer, you know?” Hughie argued, and Mickey dropped the Supe’s legs, standing up to cross her arms. This smug, sloppy, arrogant asshole is not a federal officer. “Just…just call the fucking FBI!”
The hesitation in Butcher’s voice confirmed Mickey’s suspicions. “Yeah, o-okay, so look…technically I’m not a fed,” he said, shrugging, as if this wasn’t just the atomic bomb of all bombs to drop on Hughie right now, let alone a less-than-awesome first impression to have on Mickey.
“Jesus, fuck,” Mickey started, holding her head in her hands, shaking it.
“WHAT?!” Hughie practically screeched. “Then who the fuck are you?”

Kinktober 2022 Day 2: Vampires(Release The Bats)

Tumblr media
It’s been weeks since Eddie was left in the upside down. You often wonder if you’ll actually see him again. With the way Dustin had reacted to everything, you were sure that Eddie had actually died. But Dustin told you that he couldn’t really confirm it himself. You think maybe that the young teen is trying to be hopeful just like you, but you both believe that there is a big possibility that Eddie is actually dead. You try all you can do to get over him, but he was the person you loved the most in your life.
You spent most of your days mourning him, until you finally had to come to terms with the fact that you’d never see Eddie Munson again. Slowly, you tried to go out with your friends again. Eddie’s band and most of the hellfire club would still meet up with you and do things with you, and you slowly became the de facto leader in these two groups, and it made you feel a little better. You could take care of these areas of Eddie’s life; the parts which he’d never be able to return to. The thought alone left you feeling hollow. But eventually, things got a little better.
You met someone. Someone who made you feel a little like Eddie used to make you feel. This guy was so charming, he liked all the same bands you and Eddie did, and he just makes you laugh. But still, your heart feels so torn from the heartbreak. You don’t want to move on, but at the same time, you aren’t sure you can keep living your life pretending that Eddie is going to come back.
One night, after going out with your new love interest, you’re coming home and feeling pretty good. It’s been a while since you’ve felt this way. Your heart skips a beat as you make your way into the trailer. Both your parents are asleep in their bedroom, so you sneak past their door and go into your bedroom. You’re smiling so much and you feel like you’re floating on a cloud. This all changes when you see Eddie sitting on your bed.
“E-Eddie?” You ask in disbelief. It looks like him, but there’s so much that’s different about him. Namely that he isn’t dead like you think. Your heart is racing as your brain tries to make logical thoughts.
Eddie chuckles before getting up off the bed, “Cute boyfriend. Does he make you cum like I do?”
Your cheeks burn and you shake your head no. Your new boyfriend doesn’t make you feel good like Eddie used to, but at least he is trying. You don’t want to be sad anymore. All of this must be some stupid hallucination. A guilt-ridden blast from the past trying to fuck you up. Tears blur your vision as you try to make sense of what’s happening.
“I’m not dead, you know.” Eddie begins. He comes a little closer, and you can see the shine in his yellow eyes. They aren’t the chocolate brown eyes you’ve come to love. They shine in the moonlight and they look almost catlike.
“You are dead, Eds. Dustin said so, you should have seen the poor g-guy. Whimperin’ and cryin’ the whole time he came back from the upside down and—”
Eddie presses a finger on your lips. No more is the warmth from your favorite drug dealer and lover. It’s instead replaced with a cold. Inhuman cold. Cold that comes from beyond. Beyond the grave.
“Awhh, was he really that beat up over poor ol’ me?” Eddie asks, a smirk spread on his face. Then when he flashes you a cheeky smile, you can see fangs in place of his eye teeth. This makes you shudder in fear. This is truly Eddie…but it’s not him at the same time.
Eddie pushes you up against the wall, and you really feel like prey now. His nose brushes against yours as he leans in closer. He can feel your body shuddering, and he chuckles darkly. He gets to have you all to himself now. That new boy can’t do what Eddie does to you.
“Guess I need to remind my sweetheart of just how good it can be with me,” Eddie snarls before kissing you roughly.
It feels like time is standing still. You’re frozen in this moment with the love of your life. You can’t help but wrap your arms around him and pull him even closer. You no longer care if this is a dream or it’s something dangerous. You just want to lose yourself to the pleasure that is Eddie Munson. He means everything to you and you thought you had lost him forever. It doesn’t matter if he’s a vampire or something else. All that matters is that you can feel him right now. He’s here with you, kissing you, probably going to fuck you too.
“‘Missed you so fuckin’ much,” you murmur between kisses. Eddie sighs softly and he cups your chin.
“You have no idea how much I missed you too, sweetheart. Seeing you with this new guy, it hurt me bad.”
You whine softly, “I didn’t know you were alive…thought you were fuckin’ dead, you idiot.”
Eddie scoops you up in his arms, making you squeal slightly. He quiets you with a kiss and a warning look. You remember that your parents are just down the hall. If they found you in here with Eddie, they would freak. Not to mention, everyone thinks Eddie Munson is dead. So it would be bad news all around.
He wastes no time getting you naked. Usually, he loves to tease you and take his time stripping you. But now, he can’t hold back. He needs to taste you and to fuck you. He wants to make up for lost time. Once you’re completely exposed to him, that’s when Eddie begins undressing himself as well.
Your skin breaks out in goosebumps when you feel his long nails dragging across your abdomen down to your sopping wet pussy. A quiet whine escapes from your lips as he presses the pads of his fingers to your clit and begins rubbing in sloppy circles. It’s just the way you love it. It drives you crazy at how sloppy Eddie is, despite being in a new form.
“I need you, baby.” He presses a kiss to your lips before slotting himself between your legs.
You barely have time to react before he is teasing your folds and clit with the tip of his cock, and you cry out when he slips it into you. He’s so quick to quiet you with a rough kiss. He really doesn’t want your parents coming in here. But when he listens, he hears no commotion coming from down the hall.
“Gotta be quiet, okay? Can you do that for me, princess?” Eddie asks, and you nod your head.
You already feel so full with him deep inside of you. His balls are plush against your ass. You’re panting as you try to beg him to move, but he’s just enjoying this. Truth be told, your pussy feels even better like this than he imagined. He thinks he might blow his load too soon if he’s not careful.
Slowly, he begins a steady pace. You feel so close to your own orgasm already. You’re not sure if it’s the excitement of seeing him again, or maybe you just missed him so dearly. Your hands soothe down his back, then back up to play with his crazy mane of hair. He leans in to kiss you ever so tenderly, making your walls clench around him.
“Jesus—” Eddie chokes out. “Don’t do that. ‘Gonna make me cum way too quick,”
“It’s your fault. You made me do it.”
Eddie grunts as he picks up his pace. He reaches between the both of you to rub your clit just how you like it. You feel your body tensing in preparation for this intense orgasm. Tears well up in your eyes and you know that you’re in love. You’d gladly never see your new boyfriend ever again if Eddie asked you to. You try to moan out a warning that you’re going to cum, but you tumble off the edge before you can do so.
His eyes watch you as you come undone just for him. He leans in once more, and you feel his fangs on your neck. A strangled cry falls from your lips as he bites into you, moaning at the taste of your blood. You taste so sweet, and this is all it takes for him to cum inside of you. His hips snap as he paints your insides white.
Finally, he pulls out of you and he lays next to you. You roll over to face him and a smile is spread on your face.
“Now, are you ready to accept the gift I have to offer?”

here again now
Warnings: violence/aftermath of torture/recovery
Word Count: 6.9k (gif not mine)
Summary: Natasha is captured, tortured and left with insomnia. (Part 4/4)
(pls note that the fic starts below and finishes on ao3 - i know how annoying it is to start on one platform only to have it finish on another)
A/N: another long chapter but also the end - Natasha finds old coping mechanisms, the boys are sweet (and idiots) and the reminder that there’s always some hope.
This ends black widow fest - for those that joined in and played the ask game thank you; it’s always fun. I’ll do one more round as a bonus round as some asks came through afterwards.
Not re-read my mistakes are my own <3
.
London is colder than Natasha remembers.
She wakes up violently, her body reacting with panic and anger.
Breathing heavily, she has no context for how long they’ve kept her asleep for this time.
Blood pools in her mouth as she bites her cheek hard.
She tries to get her breathing under control.
The chill in the room, makes her shiver and she wonders if it’s a side effect of the drugs.
She feels angry with herself.
Drugs is something she’s never relied on, but now it seems it’s all she’s got.
Since killing Sofya, they’ve sedated her two more times with her permission, and she’s starting to think that it’s the only way she’ll ever get rest.
Sometimes, she thinks, they should just keep her sedated.
Tony walks in, and she frowns.
He’s shaved his head.
Clint follows and his is shaved too.
“How long was I gone for?”
She stares at them confused and her hand comes up to her own shaved head.
It’s grown over the last two weeks.
Still stubbly, it itches like crazy.
“What have you done?”
Clint is first to saunter over, and lays next to her on the bed.
Tentatively, she reaches over and he takes her hand to rub his head.
So self conscious of her own hair, she can’t believe that they would both do the same.
Tony holds out his phone and sits on the lounge chair nearby.
“Bruce and Steve too.”
The picture of the two boys together with shaved heads makes her emotional. Their smiles and the way their hugging each other makes her swallow down emotion.
She knows she could blame the drugs, but if she’s honest with herself, the fact that they’ve done this for her, makes her feel.
Natasha doesn’t know what to do with the feelings. It feels like they stir around inside and threaten to break free.
Clint puts his hand over hers and encourages her to keep going with touching his head.
She lets the tears fall silently but it’s good tears.
Anger follows in how weak she is being.
This is not a big deal.
She’s survived so much worse.
“How long have I been asleep for?” she asks shakily.
Clint purses his lips.
“Just over 18 hours.”
She nods, her body tired and stiff.
She feels as though there’s mud in her brain and she’s wading through it to for cognitive thought.
“How are you feeling?” Tony ask awkwardly.
“Are Bruce and Steve coming here?”
Tony nods, understanding not to push the feeling question.
“I’ve sent them the jet. They’d like to see you.”
Natasha feels herself prickle.
“Breakfast?” Clint offers.
Getting up slowly, she completes her morning routine, showering, going to the gym, eating with Clint and Tony.
She can’t stop staring at their hair, or lack there of.
Clint notices and smiles, sipping his coffee the. Offering her the same.
“They’ll be here this afternoon,” Tony announces, looking at his phone.
“Steve has some things he wanted to discuss with you, Nat. Something about a gun runner?”
It’s felt so long since she worked.
So long since she did something that mattered.
Steve coming felt like she had a purpose, that this; whatever this was, could just be a short chapter of self pity and wallowing, and that it could be easily forgotten.
It brings strings of hope and she nods to Tony.
“Send me whatever information you have,” she offers, “I think I’d like to do some work.”
Clint nods and smiles approvingly. It’s better, she supposes, than the nothingness that’s filled their days and the worry that has permeated like oppressive gas.
.
She finds Clint in the library.
He shuts his laptop as she enters and he looks up to her and smiles.
“What were you looking at?” she asks curiously.
“Nothing really.”
She plonks herself down on the large couch and yawns.
For most of the day she can push through the day, but it’s the night that scares her.
She used to love the open hours over the evening, where the world seemed quieter and everyone had gone to sleep. It was like the world was her own.
Now, it felt tainted by something she knew she had to do but couldn’t attain.
“I wanted to ask you something,” she asks.
He looks at her curiously, allowing her to continue.
In that moment, Steve and Bruce come through the door.
Her smile is genuine.
She hugs both of them and invites them to sit down.
Clint looks at the two men, and sends a message to Tony to let him know they’ve arrived.
It’s like old times.
Even though Thor isn’t there, Clint feels like it’s the ending to a big mission.
Pizza and drinks and snacks line the tables in the library. They tell jokes and laugh and no one touches on the elephant in the room.
Clint wonders what Natasha wanted to ask.
At 2am, Steve yawns and Bruce follows suit, and they tell of their long day.
Natasha looks sad as they leave but Clint doesn’t think it’s because they’re going.
She knows what should happen next, but he doubts she’s there yet.
Tony leaves next, a smile and small wave as he saunters off.
Left alone, Clint looks over and pulls Natasha into a hug.
“What do you want to do?”
He feels her shrug against him.
“Do you want to try and fall asleep without anything?”
Natasha shrugs again.
It feels like such a sensitive subject. He doesn’t want to have to always ask and he’s sure she doesn’t want to have to explicitly say.
“I don’t think it will work.”
Clint nods.
“Go shower, I’ll get the room set up.”
Natasha sighs heavily, offers him her hand and helps him up too.
He looks so tired.
It’s her fault.
She should be over this, done and recovered.
Her body is fine, but mentally, she can’t sleep.
It takes all of her energy to get through the day and then, even when she is tired there was no reprieve.
The shower helps to calm her body and when they arrive in the room she finds it warm and new bed sheets covering it.
“We just have to try,” he comments, as she closes the door.
“If it works for a short time, we can build on that.”
“And if it doesn’t work at all?”
He shrugs, “well I guess that tells us something too.”
Natasha climbs into bed, trying not to feel the apprehension and fear that invades her mind.
Even with the threat gone, she feels it was too easy, that they’ll take him, kill him, just like she did to Sofya’s husband.
“Don’t leave,” she murmurs.
“I won’t,” he replies.
“How can I help?”
Natasha doesn’t know.
Her idea, was not this.
Her idea maybe would have put him offside, so maybe he was right. To try this and see if it had any merit.
“Read to me.”
Clint smiles and climbs in next to her.
“I’ve been reading Percy Jackson, will that do?”
Natasha settles in, peeking at the clock. It’s just after 4am.
“Sounds good,” she whispers, listening to his heart beat.

Coffee with Marshmallows
I passed my CNA exams!!! So here's another blurb I wrote. This one ended differently than I originally had in mind, but I like to imagine that Eddie drinks black coffee most of the time to seem cool, but secretly, he loves sweet coffee and things. And I love the idea that Steve surprisingly has a higher tolerance than Eddie. So here you go! Enjoy! -Silas
[Steddie]
Eddie would’ve never expected it. He ponders it, toys with it, twists it around in his mind over and over again trying to make sense of it. He had been there at the parties. He had seen how King Steve guzzled drinks like water and smoked weed like he was breathing in regular old air. Yet, he hadn’t actually considered that Steve had a higher tolerance than him. Eddie was the drug dealer after all and here he sat completely floating with his head cotton-filled and his thoughts blending together like cream and sugar in a cup of coffee.
Eddie sighed. He could go for some coffee. A nice warm cup of coffee with sugar and creamer. Maybe he could add some of those marshmallows that he had told Wayne he didn’t like, but Wayne had known him better. He had whipped cream, didn’t he? He should add some of that as well.
“Eddie, you want some coffee?”
Eddie turned to Steve absolutely flabbergasted. How did Steve read his thoughts like that?
“Eddie, you do understand that you’re saying all of this out loud, right,” Steve questioned with a chuckle.
Eddie furrowed his brows trying to compose some manner of words.
“Am I really talking out loud,” he asked a little miffed at unknowingly revealing his desires.
“Yes, but I’d be happy to get you some coffee with creamer, sugar, and whipped cream. I’ll even add those marshmallows that you,” he put air quotes on the last part,” don’t like.”
Eddie blushed a bit at the obvious blunder he had made, but couldn’t help his rapidly beating heart going even faster at Steve’s words.
Eddie beamed up at Steve who lay beside him on his bed. ‘Steve Harrington is in my bed and offering to get me coffee, what could be better’, he thought.
This time he didn’t speak aloud, but that was only due to the singular functioning brain cell he had forcing his hand to his lips, making sure they didn’t move.
“I’d like that.”
Steve made to get up but paused as he heard a yawn exit Eddie’s mouth. Eddie tried to stifle a second and third yawn but remained helpless as the noises left his lips. Eddie looked up at Steve as a chuckle filled the quiet.
“How about I get you that coffee after a nap?”
Eddie was about to respond when he felt his eyes begin to droop. He rubbed at them before deciding to listen to Steve, just this once.
“Alright, but you’re getting me coffee when I’m up.”
“I know.”
Steve’s mouth was wide with a grin and glistening, red-tinged eyes.
“And you can’t forget the marshmallows.”
“I know Eddie,” Steve’s voice held nothing, but amusement at the slew of requests.
“And,” Eddie paused as he drifted,” you have to take a nap too.”
“Okay, handsome.”
Eddie grinned with his eyes closed. Warm and content feeling as though he would drift into the floaty feeling any time now.
“Thanks, big boy.”
Eddie was almost asleep, just on the brink of sleep.
“Good night, Eds.”
Eddie smiled just a bit more.
“Good night, Stevie.”
Eddie could’ve sworn he felt a kiss on his forehead before he was completely knocked out.
The coffee tasted even better the next morning and it did have marshmallows in it.

Sibi my queen regent, I’m back with another request 👭👸 I’m missing MV Yoonkook recently so I was wondering if can we have HCs for them? Smutty or fluffy or angsty just anything my queen regent please 🙏🏾💜
Ah yes my darling anonie is back ehehwhe I’m still loving the nickname ✊🏻😔💜 ALSO YES I’M IN CONSTANT SANGUIS YOONKOOK BRAIN ROT I SHALL GIVE YOU WHAT YOU WANT 👀🤪 all three because I like pain :)
Yoongi has nightmares about losing Kook
you must know that he doesn’t show how much he feels for the younger vampire
but it’s a lot
and he has nightmares about losing him
he tries to protect him in said nightmares
tries to fight whatever is killing his Kook
tries to run faster
or warn him louder
but he never wins, destined to watch his Kookie die
Yoongi wakes up sweaty whenever he dreams of it
and he'll lie there paralysed for a few moments and tears will escape his eyes
he'll be silent, but his chest will be tight and he will be shaking against his will
he refuses to fall back asleep when it happens
so he'll leave bed for a drink
taking it with his trembling hand barely holding the glass
sometimes he'll even leave his wing to get fresh air
whenever he does, he'll linger by Jungkook’s door, trying so hard to listen for him
Yoongi only feels at peace once his breathing meets his ears
one night, Yoongi woke up from an especially brutal nightmare and he went for a walk
he tried to linger by Jungkook’s door again but his breathing never came
and so Yoongi panicked, he panicked so much
he tried opening the locked door, fought for air, tried not to cry again
until a sweet, yet worried voice behind him said "hyungie? What are you doing?"
And Yoongi turned, looked at Jungkook who just came home from a night run
and he felt his knees buckle in relief
"What are you doing, silly boy? Where the fuck were you?" he pressed out and then pulled Jungkook into a tight hug
Kook accepted it, although very confused
"Don’t scare me like that. I thought something happened to you."
"Hyungie, I just went for a run because the night is nice."
"Doesn’t matter, you should have told me. Something could have killed you."
Jungkook laughed because he found his words a little dramatic at first
but then he smelled the distraught and worry on Yoongi and he didn’t laugh anymore
"Hyungie, what’s wrong?"
"Nothing. Just. You’re gonna sleep in my bed tonight. Understood?"
"Sure, yeah. Wait, I need to shower."
"Do it at my place."
and so Kook spent the night with Yoongi
where Yoongi spooned him as tightly as possible and refused to let him go all night
which wasn’t like him at all
but Jungkook didn’t dare to ask for more information because Yoongi smelled so peaceful again
Yoongi never told him of his nightmare and Kook never stressed him for it
but the two vampires had a good sleep that night, cuddling until the morning
also to give you something smutty as well
Jungkook woke up with Yoongi between his legs the next morning
his mouth was warm and soft and so nicely wet
and his big hands roamed the paths of his body tenderly
and Jungkook instantly found himself having to sigh Yoongi’s name
Yoongi didn’t leave the spot until he gave Jungkook not one or two, not even three, but four ecstatic highs
Koon twisted his hair for it and arched his back and by the forth one, he couldn’t even make noises anymore
Yoongi also told him to cancel all plans because he was NOT going to stop after the surprise morning head
by that point, he was delirious and high on Jungkook
his face was halfway contorted into his vampiric face and he lulled his words just a little
Jungkook mirrored his state, giving in to whatever Yoongi wanted even if he was incredibly sensitive between his legs
Yoongi was gentle though, of course he was
listen. This man lost his Kookie in his nightmare the night before and the desperate, lovestruck vampire needed to worship his beloved student like a goddamn king
and he did, trust me that he really really did
Kook definitely didn’t leave Yoongi’s wing thinking that the Creator didn’t want him
Oh no, he knew he fucking knew.

Heaven Can’t Help Me Now | Trevor pt. 2
a/n: starting to feel like i made a mistake of writing this because i think my own feelings are going to get hurt in the end
Tumblr media
You weren’t sure you would be able to fall asleep, not with the way your brain was thinking in overdrive. Trevor clearly had no issue falling asleep and well why would he? He had no clue that the night before you and Jamie had almost kissed. Somehow you managed to turn your brain off enough to fall asleep. It had passed almost too quickly though and all you wanted once the morning rolled around was to sleep more.
The boys had plans though and no matter what Trevor had said the night before or technically very very early this morning, you both were not staying in this bed all day. When you woke up, his arm was still around you and his face was currently buried into your neck. You didn’t want to really wake him up but you moved slightly, hoping to get out from under his arm in a quick attempt so you could go to the bathroom.
“No, not yet.” Trevor grumbled against you as he pulled you in, closing off any space there had been when you had tried to move. “We have to start getting ready, I’m sure the other boys are up.” Which could be true or if they were struggling like the two of you maybe not. “Just a few minutes like this please.” He pressed some kisses onto your shoulder which did all the convincing you needed.
You turned your body so you could look at him and there was that goofy morning grin on his face. “Good morning.” He whispered to you before pressing a quick kiss to your lips. “Trevor, maybe we should..” He pressed another kiss to your lips, interrupting you mid sentence. “We don’t have to talk about anything. We’re just two friends on vacation who are having fun, right? No need in overcomplicating anything right now.”
His words would have been easy to go along with if it weren’t for the fact this was going to be a lot more complicated than even he could imagine. But also somehow he had you convinced. What happened in Canada could definitely stay in Canada. Plus it didn’t look like Trevor was really expecting anything past this so no big deal like he had said. “Okay.” You agreed and just like that his lips were back on yours, this time replicating the kiss from last night.
It was getting a little easy to lose yourself in these kisses with him and if he kept this up maybe you two wouldn’t be making it out of this bed today. A loud pounding on the door quickly erased that thought from your head. Trevor pulled away, another frustrated groan leaving his lips. “If we don’t say anything, they’ll think we’re sleeping.” He whispered to you as he leaned back down to kiss you again.
This time Jacks voice rang out. “T-dawg! Stop making out with your girl and let us in.” A laugh erupted from your lips as Trevor let out a small sigh, leaning his forehead against yours. “We’re not done yet.” He told you before getting up and going to the door, waiting for you to adjust yourself before letting Jack and Cole into the room. “You guys aren’t even dressed yet.” Cole pointed out.
Getting ready didn’t take too long for the both of you since the two boys were rushing you guys. The plan so far for the day was lunch and then you guys were going out on some boat. Lunch ended up being nice but the boat was definitely the fun part of the afternoon. As you leaned against one side of the boat, Jack came over to you. “You know, that boy has been head over heels for you for over a year now.” His head nodded towards Trevor and you just furrowed your eyebrows.
No way has Trevor had feelings for you in general much less for over a year. He was the type of guy that wasn’t afraid to say things so maybe Jack was wrong or was just teasing you. “We’re just friends.” You told him but your cheeks glowed red as you thought about last night and this morning. “Riiight.” Jack told you with a nod of his head.
You looked across at Trevor and his eyes caught yours, waving you over. Perfect timing to break away from Jack. As soon as you got in front of him, he wrapped his arms around your waist and brought you down to sit on his lap. He pressed a kiss to your shoulder and Jacks words rang back to you in your head. “What were you two talking about?” Trevor asked, looking up at Jack. “He was just teasing about this morning.”
Letting your body relax against Trevors you tried to picture a world where he did have the feelings Jack had said he does. Did you share them back the same way? You could picture you guys together and the relationship you would have. The beginning of this week had already given you a glimpse of it. Who knew how the rest of the week would go. A part of your heart ached at even thinking about the end of the week when you would be leaving. But then a voice rang in the back of your head reminding you about Jamie back home and that friendship.

The world hurts less when I'm by your side
He was fine now, though and when they asked 'Why couldn’t he stand up now?' or 'had he seen a real rifle and shot one?' he answered them with ease he didn’t know he possessed until then.
At some point one of the babies pushed his hat off and the scar he had on his head from the blast got out, now much visible with his shorter hair. They all climbed up on him and awed at that, asking if they could touch it.
“Do you have metal brains? Are you a robot, uncle Bell?” they asked and he laughed.
“No, not really, sweetheart.” he stroke a little girl’s hair while Andrew kept peaking at his scar.
“That’s badass!” he exclaimed “I want to be like you when I grow up.” that made Bellamy’s heart skip a beat, though and he carefully placed his hand on Andrew’s shoulder.
“Trust me, kid, you do not.” Andrew furrowed his eyebrows a little and tilted his head in confusion “You should leave the war games on the playfield, alright?”
“But I want to be like you and my dada!”
“And you can, if that’s what you really think you should do but what I’m trying to tell you is that there are other stuff out there too. You don’t need to carry the burden of your family on your shoulders, alright?” Andrew thought about it for a second and Bellamy wasn’t sure the kid let the words sink in but he shrugged a little, gave him a small nod and then ran off after Ares again.
At some point they all gathered the kids back inside because the wind got quite harsh and cold. Bellamy patted Ares’ head too and laughed when he looked down at his friend-his tongue was out and he looked exhausted.
“Too old for that stuff, huh, big boy?” Ares whined as he followed Bellamy back inside just when sister Hannah welcomed him at the front door with her arms crossed over her chest.
“What made you think that being out in this horrible cold weather could be any good for your lungs, young man?” she scolded.
“I’m sorry, sister.” she huffed and came behind him, picking the wheelchair and pushing it down to the left hallway.
“Sorry sister, sorry sister, that’s all I’ve been hearing from you today.”
“That’s because I truly am.”
“Right.” Bellamy coughed a little and looked up at her innocently, making her roll her eyes at him “Come on, we're going to the clothing storage.”
“I was thinking of going to the library-” he began carefully but the look she sent in his direction was enough to make him completely change the ending of the sentence “but I definitely need clothes more than books now, you’re right.”
“That’s what I thought.” she commented “Silly child.” he smiled but when she fixed the hat back on his head and rubbed his shoulder, he knew she was trying to apologize for her harshness and he offered her a soft look in return.
What was really funny was that all the women and children joined them down the hallway and the kiddos kept jumping around Bellamy and poor tired Ares, asking for attention. They apparently had a shift at the storage room, distributing donated clothes and it just turned everything into a sort of game for the kids.
Sister Hannah wasn’t happy about it and was trying to put some order in it while Ares fell asleep under the table with a toddler sprayed on his back, a little boy with dark hair that refused to leave him.
Bellamy pushed his wheelchair to the edge of the table while all the other kids, seemingly already in love with him, piled up all around him, Andrew, a few girls and some baby boys crawling all over the place near him while he picked them up and settled them on their tiny butts, hoping to keep them down for a minute.
The moms really had to work and so did sister Hannah, so the best he could think of was tell them a story.
“Okay now, shush...shush, let’s let your mamas work, huh? How about a story? Would you like me to tell you a story?”
“What story?” asks Andrew rather suspicious and Bellamy beams “We know all the fairy tales.”
“It’s not a fairy tale. It’s a Greek myth. Have you heard of those?” they all shake their heads and he picks up one of the crawling babies whose name was Leah and who was a bit of a menace so he puts her on his lap and jostles her a bit “Do you know about Hades and Persephone? Or Zeus and Europa? Or Promethius the man who dared to steal fire from the gods and give it to us, the humans?” the kids all shook heads but huddled together and looked at Bellamy with expectation in their eyes.
“Tell us.” Andrew asked and Bellamy smiled as he rested his back on his wheelchair.
“So Hades was the Greek god of the underworld and he fell horribly in love with a beautiful girl called Persephone-” he begins and they all collectively hold their breaths as he talks. He tells them all about it-their love, how Hades kidnapped her which elicited a responce from the others saying “That’s bad! That’s wrong” making him smile, then how the seasons came to be, how much Demeter loved her.
Everyone listened instensely until he finished, even the mothers and sister Hannah were quiet in their work.
When he was done some of them were half asleep like the baby in his lap and others were staring as if they just realized something big, Andrew among them.

Nina reads Dracula 🦇
September 22nd
[…] I felt Jonathan clutch my arm so tight that he hurt me, and he said under his breath: "My God!" I am always anxious about Jonathan, for I fear that some nervous fit may upset him again; so I turned to him quickly, and asked him what it was that disturbed him.
He was very pale, and his eyes seemed bulging out as, half in terror and half in amazement, he gazed at a tall, thin man, with a beaky nose and black moustache and pointed beard, who was also observing the pretty girl. He was looking at her so hard that he did not see either of us, and so I had a good view of him. His face was not a good face; it was hard, and cruel, and sensual, and his big white teeth, that looked all the whiter because his lips were so red, were pointed like an animal's. Jonathan kept staring at him, till I was afraid he would notice. I feared he might take it ill, he looked so fierce and nasty. I asked Jonathan why he was disturbed, and he answered, evidently thinking that I knew as much about it as he did: "Do you see who it is?"
PANIC
After a few minutes' staring at nothing, Jonathan's eyes closed, and he went quietly into a sleep, with his head on my shoulder. I thought it was the best thing for him, so did not disturb him. In about twenty minutes he woke up, and said to me quite cheerfully:—
"Why, Mina, have I been asleep! Oh, do forgive me for being so rude. Come, and we'll have a cup of tea somewhere." He had evidently forgotten all about the dark stranger, as in his illness he had forgotten all that this episode had reminded him of. I don't like this lapsing into forgetfulness; it may make or continue some injury to the brain. I must not ask him, for fear I shall do more harm than good; but I must somehow learn the facts of his journey abroad. The time is come, I fear, when I must open that parcel, and know what is written. Oh, Jonathan, you will, I know, forgive me if I do wrong, but it is for your own dear sake.
They are so soft to each other… and so sad… and so scared…
A sad home-coming in every way—the house empty of the dear soul who was so good to us; Jonathan still pale and dizzy under a slight relapse of his malady; and now a telegram from Van Helsing, whoever he may be:—
"You will be grieved to hear that Mrs. Westenra died five days ago, and that Lucy died the day before yesterday. They were both buried to-day."
Oh, what a wealth of sorrow in a few words! Poor Mrs. Westenra! poor Lucy! Gone, gone, never to return to us! And poor, poor Arthur, to have lost such sweetness out of his life! God help us all to bear our troubles.
What a day uh
It is all over. Arthur has gone back to Ring, and has taken Quincey Morris with him. What a fine fellow is Quincey! I believe in my heart of hearts that he suffered as much about Lucy's death as any of us; but he bore himself through it like a moral Viking.
Supporting his friend 🥺
Arthur was saying that he felt since then as if they two had been really married and that she was his wife in the sight of God. None of us said a word of the other operations, and none of us ever shall.
Again with the inherent homoeroticism of blood transfusions…
The moment we were alone in the carriage [Van Helsing] gave way to a regular fit of hysterics. He has denied to me since that it was hysterics, and insisted that it was only his sense of humour asserting itself under very terrible conditions. He laughed till he cried, and I had to draw down the blinds lest any one should see us and misjudge; and then he cried, till he laughed again; and laughed and cried together, just as a woman does.
He gave his all to save Lucy despite not knowing her at all! And yes part of it is certainly that he wanted to defeat the incarnation of evil single-handedly, but no one can deny he cared.
My heart bleed for that poor boy—that dear boy, so of the age of mine own boy had I been so blessed that he live, and with his hair and eyes the same.
Oh. Oh…
"Said he not that the transfusion of his blood to her veins had made her truly his bride?"
"Yes, and it was a sweet and comforting idea for him."
"Quite so. But there was a difficulty, friend John. If so that, then what about the others? Ho, ho! Then this so sweet maid is a polyandrist, and me, with my poor wife dead to me, but alive by Church's law, though no wits, all gone—even I, who am faithful husband to this now-no-wife, am bigamist."
That explains so much…
"Friend John, forgive me if I pain. I showed not my feeling to others when it would wound, but only to you, my old friend, whom I can trust. If you could have looked into my very heart then when I want to laugh; if you could have done so when the laugh arrived; if you could do so now, when King Laugh have pack up his crown, and all that is to him—for he go far, far away from me, and for a long, long time—maybe you would perhaps pity me the most of all."
I was touched by the tenderness of his tone, and asked why.
"Because I know!"
💔
And now we are all scattered; and for many a long day loneliness will sit over our roofs with brooding wings. Lucy lies in the tomb of her kin, a lordly death-house in a lonely churchyard, away from teeming London; where the air is fresh, and the sun rises over Hampstead Hill, and where wild flowers grow of their own accord.
So I can finish this diary; and God only knows if I shall ever begin another. If I do, or if I even open this again, it will be to deal with different people and different themes; for here at the end, where the romance of my life is told, ere I go back to take up the thread of my life-work, I say sadly and without hope,
"FINIS."
Imagine if the book actually ended there

Confused - N.H x J.H
gif credit to owner :)
Jack was sure he always liked women, well maybe always sure. A part of him knew there was more to love than just what a teenage boy thought.
Freshly being drafted to the NJD wasnt easy, but he always had a helping and supportive friend. Sometimes he thinks that friend is more to him than he thought in the first place.
Tumblr media
What happens when the one thing you want is so far away but so close?
Nico has been letting Jack stay with him until he figures out a better place than where he was staying at, it also gave the time for Nico to help Jack, since Jack was a rookie getting used to everything.
Nico and Jack have been hanging out more than they thought they ever would, movie nights, late night walks, even dinners together. Jack didn’t realize how much it meant to him that Nico was always there. Sometimes Jack wonders what it would be like if Nico wasn’t always, just there.
Jack already struggling with his rookie year, is now struggling to figure out his love life. He only knows one person to go to. As the phone rings for Trevor, Jack tries not to cry out of stress and frustration of his brain is working. Jack was never a big crier, not until stress got to him. Trevor answers the phone and before Jack starts talking he makes sure Nico isn’t home.
“Hey man, what’s up?” Trevor asks, sitting down with a bag of chips, sitting his phone up. “Uh, I need to..talk to you about something. You have to promise not to judge me and make fun of me because it’s actually upsetting me.” Jack begins to rant, Trevor looks concerned but lets Jack talk.
Before Jack could get a word out, Nico walks through the front door with food for him and Jack. Jack quickly turns his phone off, hanging up on Trevor.
“Hi, I didn’t know when you would be up but I brought…” Nico stops his sentence when he realizes Jack has a tear falling down his cheek. “What’s wrong, why are you crying…or about to cry?” Nico questions putting the food down on the coffee table.
Jacks mouth goes dry, “I-uh…” Jack couldn’t get a word out. Nico sits down with him and rubs his back, Jack gets butterflies in his stomach and his face goes red. “You can talk to me, I’m here you know. I mean you are staying at my place.” Nico tries to get a laugh out of Jack. Jack just starts crying more, “Hey, hey, hey, it’s okay. What’s wrong?”
“I don’t understand, I don’t understand how I feel and I want to understand so bad. I don’t like not understanding things but I know I like having you around more than I should. I think I’m falling in love with you and I’m scared and I don’t know what to do. I don’t want to ruin anything and you probably don’t even feel the sam-.” Before Jack could get his full words out, Nico kisses him. Stopping him from talking at all.
Nicos hands pull Jack closer, before he pulls back. “Sweet boy, you won’t be ruining anything.” Nico smiles at Jack. Jack doesn’t know how to feel. “I like you Nico. More than just a friend from my team.” Jack says with tears in his eyes looking up at Nico. “I know love, I do too.”
Nico pulls Jack up off the couch and hugs him. “You don’t have to be upset, I don’t understand anything either. We can take things slow. I promise you.” Nico whispers in Jacks ears while he rubs his back while Jacks head is in Nicos neck.
“But what about the team and my parents and brothers and oh my god my friends what am I supposed to say.” Jack begins to freak out. Nico takes Jacks hand and leads him to his room. “You need a nap.” Nico states pushing Jack onto the bed.
“We can talk about it more when you’re not so upset, okay baby?” Nico says as he pulls Jack close to him as he gets in the bed. Nico lays on his back while Jack has his head on his chest. Nico starts playing with Jacks hair as he starts to hear little snores from jacks mouth. Nico begins to fall asleep while Jack puts his arm over his waist, holding him tight.
After a long nap, Jack wakes up. Still slowly starting to remember everything that happened before, he feels steady breathing from Nico with little snores. Jack slowly moves so he could get up. “Where are you going?” Nico says in a sleepy voice.
“I’m…I’m kinda hungry.” Jack looks down playing with fingers nervously. Nico rolls over and checks his phone, it’s 8pm. “We slept for a while.” Nico states, slowly getting out of bed.
Jack starts walking to the kitchen and Nico follows. “I can heat up the food I brought earlier..if that sounds good? Maybe we could watch a movie?” Nico suggests, Jack smiles. “I’d like that.” Jack giggles.
Jack walks into the kitchen to get himself and Nico cups. Jack reaches up to get the cups and he feels arms going around his waist. Jack giggles, “I think I could get used to this.” He says while Nico kisses his neck. “I’ve been waiting to be able to do this.” Nico says in between kisses.
“Let me get us some water, babe.” Jack fills the cups up with ice cold water to go with the food. Nico let’s go of Jack to pull the food out of the microwave. Jack walks into the front room and puts the cups down. Nico follows while holding his and Jacks plates.
Jack begins to sit down and Nico shakes his head. “Up.” He says while moving past Jack to sit down where Jack was about to. Nico sits the food down on the stand beside the couch. Nico pats the seat next to him and Jack smiles while sitting down.
After they finish their dinner and talk about how funny it is to see their falls on the ice on YouTube they finally agree it’s time to talk about the maybe relationship.
Nico can tell Jack is nervous, he pulls him closer and allows Jack to lay his head on his lap while he plays with his hair. “Tell me what you’re worried about.” Nico tells Jack, Jack begins to talk about all of his worries. How he’s nervous how his teammates and his brothers and possibly friends knowing about him and Nico and how he worries he’ll be looked at differently because he likes men.
Nico reassures Jack before they both agree they are tired and need to go back to sleep for morning practice the next day. Jack follows Nico into his room and lays down on his bed. “Are we gonna tell everyone tomorrow…or are we gonna let them figure it out?” Jack ask Nico while, Nico makes his way to the bed. “Let them figure it out.” Nico laughs while climbing into bed next to Jack.
They both go quiet for a second, “There’s something I forgot to ask you.” Nico softly says, looking over at Jack. “No I wanna ask.” Jack stops him, Nico smiles. “Go ahead Hughes.” Nico sits up, “Nico, will you be my boyfriend?” Jack giggles asking Nico. Nico hums, “Let me think about it.” Jack gently pushes Nico, “You suck.” Jack laughs nervously. Nico leans down and kisses Jack. “Does that answer your question?” Nico asks. “Maybe do it one more time so I know for sure.” Jack giggles. Nico kisses him again, “Yes, I’d love to be your boyfriend.”
Nico moves over so that Jack can cuddle into him. “I think this is the best day of my life.” Jack says, as Nico locks fingers with him. “Mhm?” Nico hums, lying back. Nico moves over so he can kiss Jack on the forehead. “Get some sleep love, we got practice early morning.”
Jack cuddles up to Nico and Nico has his hands up Jacks shirt rubbing his back until Jack falls asleep.

Incorrect Quotes: Wild Field Trips edition, part 2:
Ralphie: I'm in my mum's car, vroom vroom.
Dr. Tennelli: Get out of me car!
Ralphie: Awww.

Aviva: Today's Friday, though.
Martin: IRRELEVANT
Zach: Oh sorry, I fell asleep while I was waiting on you to make me a sandwich.
Gourmand: Go back to sleep AND STARVE.
Alternatives to “Ladies and gentlemen”:
D.A.: Ladies, gentlemen, and others
Carlos: Ladies and germs
Koki: Beloved friends and tolerated acquaintances
Wanda: Allies, enemies, and those I’m still deciding about
Zach: Fellow scoundrels
Tim: Entities of interest

Evan: All y’all
Tim: Folks
Dr. Tennelli: Distinguished guests
Ralphie: Comrades
Martin: My dudes
Chris: A warm welcome to everyone who managed to sneak past the Zachbots
Mikey: Eating chips with chopsticks is unironically galaxy brain. Your fingers don’t get greasy and it lasts for longer.
Ronan: Fork
Mikey: Oh, yeah, I’m going to stab my crunchy foods and make them fall apart like an absolute absentminded dunce, fool, clown, jester, like a monstrous moron, an idiot of Shakespearean proportions, a cretin.
Jimmy: Um, you seem to forget that ‘chips’ can also mean fries. And that’s probably what he was talking about, haha
Mikey: I did not forget anything. I purposely ignore the idea of using British vocabulary to do my part in helping it die out.
Keesha: Really? EVERYBODY was kung fu fighting? I find that hard to believe. Stop feeding me these lies.
Chris: Well it was really hard to see if it was everyone, you see they were as fast as lightning.
Carlos: And to be honest, it was a little bit frightening.
Ralphie: KNOWLEDGE is knowing that a tomato is technically a fruit.
Phoebe: WISDOM is not putting it in a fruit salad.
Ralphie: PHILOSOPHY is wondering if a tomato is a fruit, does that make ketchup a smoothie?
Dr. Tennelli, about to kick them both out of the kitchen: COMMON SENSE is knowing that ketchup isn't a smoothie.
Martin: I put my Creaturepod down and now I can't find it.
Chris: Want me to call it?
Martin: It's on silent.
Chris: I'll call it anyway.
*Everyone stands around listening for a faint buzzing sound*
Carlos: I'm going to give raccoons the gift of fire and then teach them ceramics and they will make little bowls with their little hands.
Aviva: You cannot give raccoons that kind of power!
Wanda: The opposite of "the elephant in the room" is "the centipede in the room." Something that's not actually an issue, but everyone's freaking out about.
Chris: As someone who has worked with venomous animals, I can assure you that a centipede in the room is in fact a very big issue.
Gavin: If you have knees, you are valid.
Phoebe: Homophobes have knees, too.
Gavin: Not for long.
Carlos: Who is teaching my dad Zoomer slang?
*earlier*
Mr. Ramon (via text message): What do you think? I totally stan it
Carlos: Stop
Keesha: Stop excluding the B from LGBT. I'm sick of it. British people should be proud of who they are. Screw you.
Zach: What means “I hate you” in dinosaur?
Carlos: No. Dinosaur is the language of love.
Katie: I almost dropped my Creaturepod on my soft carpeted floor but thank god I have lightning fast reflexes and was able to slap it into the wall instead.
Wanda: I heard my brother [Henry] say he was going to Dairy Queen, so I snuck in his car and he has no idea I’m here.
Wanda: He asked his friend what he wanted and I popped up from the floor and said “I was thinking about a milkshake." I have never heard two teenage boys scream louder.
Carlos: Do not stand near the open fire when you have a tube of cocoa butter in your thigh pocket.
Jenny: This is so oddly specific. What happened?
Carlos: I am confident in your ability to figure it out from the clues provided.
Aidan: You’ve heard of mom friends. Now get ready for: Anti-mom friend. They suggest every single impulsive thought that runs through their head like, "Hey, what if you jumped in that pond in the middle of the night?" to the group while the mom friend begs them to stop.
Phoebe: Eldest sibling friend.
(Both of them look at Carlos)
Keesha: Hi, could I ask how exactly does one accidentally set a lemon on fire?
Martin: Microwave for 40 minutes
Keesha: Why were you microwaving a lemon??
Martin: I read boiling lemons helps cover up bad smells (I wanted to cover up the scent of burnt oranges), but we don't have a big enough pot on the Tortuga.
Keesha: Did you burn an orange too? How??
Martin: Microwave for 40 minutes
Carlos: Love is dead and never existed. All you did was betray me as I lay sick and festering. You are the definition of dread.
Phoebe: Are you okay?
Carlos: My cat stole my freakign garlic bread.
Carlos: A theif
DA: Thief?
Carlos: Theif
DA: I before e, except after c
Carlos: Thceif
DA: No
Dr. Skeledon: Children, this is dirt.
Arnold, Carlos, and Phoebe: dirt? dirt? dirt? dirt? dirt?
