Love that being an adult means my annual bonus at work is going to be spent on our house insurance deductible instead of anything fun. Hate it.

on vacation with the f1 boys ✈️
i love to travel so this is just me being self indulgent lol. also disclaimer i know some of the pictures are not from the country i said the vacation is in, bear with me lol. hope you enjoy and drop me any pref requests you might have!
Lando Norris
Destination: Finland
Lando always went on a ski trip with his friends during the winter break and this year he invited you to go along. You started on the easier slopes, as you both had to get the hang of skiing again, but by the end of the day you were tackling some of the more difficult ones along with your group of friends. Afterwards, the group settled down in the ski lodge with cups of hot chocolate around a crackling fire. You all spent a few hours joking around and catching up after not having all been together for a while. To finish off the day, you and Lando went alone to the sauna where you had the chance to decompress together before heading to bed. All in all, the day was well spent and you asked Lando when you would be able to come back even though you knew the answer would be next year.
Tumblr media
Oscar Piastri
Destination: New Zealand
During the winter break, you and Oscar did not want to travel too far from his home in Australia, so you decided to go to the nearby country of New Zealand. Both of you loved staying at the beach and so you decided to spend most of your days at the scenic shores of the country. After having a relaxing time at the beach, you decided to tour the country’s mountains together and to take in the beautiful views. A personal highlight for you is a romantic dinner with Oscar in the stunning city of Queenstown. All in all, it is a relaxing trip far from the pressures of racing that brings the two of you unforgettable memories.
Tumblr media
Max Verstappen
Destination: Italy
For Max, a vacation was any time he could spend completely away from racing with you and his friends. So, instead of traveling far away from his apartment in Monaco, he wasted no time in going on a boating trip with all his favorite people along the Italian coast. You both spent days lounging on the deck together and nights drinking with the group at the yacht’s bar. The sea made for a perfect getaway from Max’s fast paced life and you could not be happier to get some time with your boyfriend in such a scenic place. Relaxing in the waves truly made for a great time.
Tumblr media
Charles Leclerc
Destination: Los Angeles
Your favorite place to visit together was definitely LA. You both had friends who lived there so it only made sense to take a trip there when you both were free. You spent the days on the beach with him, either surfing if the waves were nice or simply sunbathing otherwise. Charles also convinced you to go on the most extreme rides at all of the amusement parks, giving you an adrenaline rush that kept you wanting more. So many laughs were had with each of your friends, especially when Charles insisted on winning you a giant Ferrari colored banana plush at the arcade. You had no idea where you would find space for it in your apartment, but you knew you would cherish the memories it brought to mind.
Tumblr media
Carlos Sainz
Destination: Miami
To Carlos, it would not be a good vacation without some golf. So, you both decided to head to Miami where you could find the best of what both of you loved doing, golf and relaxing on the beach. While Carlos golfed in the mornings, you relaxed on the beachfront balcony of the house you were staying in. And during the afternoons, you would both head to the beach to relax in the sand and waves. One morning you decided to spice things up and have Carlos try to teach you to golf, but after accidentally hitting the ball into someone else’s golf cart, you quickly scrapped that idea. Your favorite memory of the trip was definitely the day you spent completely together on a snorkeling trip to see a nearby coral reef.
Tumblr media
Lewis Hamilton
Destination: Dubai
When Lewis wasn’t racing, he still loved to be doing something adventurous. Lucky for him, you shared his love of an adrenaline rush. So the perfect destination was Dubai. Every day was filled with excitement, from riding ATVs though the desert to eating at luxurious restaurants in the city. Lewis even convinced you to go skydiving with him at the end of your trip which was an experience you knew you would never forget. There was never a dull moment when you and Lewis traveled together and you knew that once this vacation ended, you would already be planning for another.
Tumblr media
Daniel Ricciardo
Destination: Austin
Everyone knew one of Daniel’s favorite places was Austin, Texas. So when he had a week off after the race in Texas, Daniel of course convinced you to stay with him on vacation there for the next few days. He took you to his favorite bars and barbecue restaurants to savor the food. He also took you to a ranch where you got to ride horses through the American countryside. On the last day of the trip, the two of you decided to go to a country music concert and dance the night away. Both of you loved music and so this was the perfect memory to end what was a great few days of exploring the Texan landscape. And of course you had to get a souvenir cowboy hat to remember the trip by.
Tumblr media
Yuki Tsunoda
Destination: Mexico
As you and Yuki are both foodies, you decided to go to a place with one of your favorite cuisines, Mexico. You arranged to travel throughout the country to try different foods from various regions. Between meals, you would spend time seeing some of Mexico’s most scenic beaches and visiting some of the tourist destinations like Chichen Itza. The best part, however, was getting to spend so much uninterrupted time with your boyfriend who was always away from home. Though you knew Yuki lived the fast life, all you wanted to do with him was relax. And what better place to do it than in such a warm and beautiful country. As for your favorite food you tried? There were too many good dishes to choose!
Tumblr media
Alex Albon
Destination: Phuket
Alex was thrilled when you agreed to go to the country he raced for. When you got there, he excitedly showed you around all of the sights and took you to eat his favorite local food. After a few days of frantically touring Alex’s favorite places, you both decided that it wasn’t truly a vacation unless you relaxed a little bit. So, you spent the rest of the week at the beach in each other’s arms, just savoring the other’s company. There were a few splash fights in the pool and the time where you jokingly pushed Alex off of the boat, but otherwise you spent your time relaxing on the sand. Thai sunsets were truly like no other and you knew you would savor your memories for years to come.
Tumblr media
Logan Sargeant
Destination: USA
When you realized that Logan hadn’t traveled much around his own country outside of Florida, you immediately decided that you were going on a road trip to fix that. The plan was that you would go up the east coast, stopping in all of the major cities to see the sights. From Carolina beaches to the nation’s capital, there were surely a lot of things to do. And when you had a boyfriend who drove cars for a living, of course you got to the be the passenger princess. Every time a road sign showed something that sounded cool, you insisted that you stop. Your personal favorite destination was New York, where you got to show Logan a lot of the famous landmarks that everybody would recognize. Once you hit Boston, you decided to head back south to his home state and warmer weather. You would cherish these memories forever.

It's my Birthday!
March 19th and im a year closer to meeting Arceus lucky me! So here is some of my Pokémon simps headcannons as to how they would celebrate your birthday. (I was going to do my top 5 simps but they are all from different things so I'm gonna leave those to myself) There will be no Scarlett and violet characters. They will be in they're own post (There's a lot I like)
Characters: Adaman, Lysander, Raihan, Leon, Cynthia, Volo
Tumblr media
💙💎Adaman💎💙
Adaman’s number one rule is that every moment counts. So when it comes to planning your birthday, he makes sure every second he spends planning results in the perfect outcome.
He would make sure to remember all of your favourite things to do and put as many as he can in one day without overdoing it. Adaman was always good at planning. Execution was the problem.
Headstrong and passionate don’t tend to go well together, so no matter how many hours he spends detailing everything. Planning around possible problems; as always something is bound to go wrong.
Surprise bandit attack; Alpha attack; Something happens in the Demand clan; Irida
Will that stop him from making this day all about you? Arceus no! He’s just gonna try harder to make you happy. Even if you're already beaming with the royal treatment he is giving you. Adaman won’t stop until the sun is gone, and he’s carrying you back home.
I would try and pinpoint 1 specific thing he’d do, but Adaman would do basically anything you wanted. Your wish was his command, whatever you wanted to do - he would do. Want to go on a catching spree? Sure. Want to walk along the coastal beach, when do we leave? Want to scale the cobalt mountains to reach the temple of Sinnoh? He’s already racing you up there.
You could drag him to the Alabaster Iceland's and he would follow you like a Fidough. It’s your day and he is going to make damn sure you feel like royalty by the end.
Tumblr media
🧡☕Lysandre☕🧡
Lysandre is a busy man. Being the leader of Team flare and running his company and keeping his goal of beauty running smoothly. Time is not something he has! But for his darling's birthday, that's time he is happy to put aside.
He wouldn’t be particularly flashy about what he does for your birthday. He is a gentleman aftercall! Not psychotic at all he's fine i swear. Don’t expect Tengen Uzui level flashy. Lysandre is much more laid back than that. He won’t show you off to the world if you aren't comfortable with it.
His personal life is something he likes to keep behind closed doors, so for your birthday, the most public he would get is taking you out around Lumios, weather that be a shopping spree, a nice conversation at a quiet café. Dinner at a nice restaurant would be a must however. He still wants you to feel special so he will spoil you rotten with gifts. Dudes got the money to burn.
I can see Lysandre planning something beforehand to keep the paparazzi distracted. Like calling in a favour with a friend high up and having them stage something on the other side of the city so you two can be together in peace.
Once you two get home, he will spend the night with you watching any movie or show you want. Reading with you, just talking with you. Anything you want so long as he can see that beautiful smile of yours.
Lysandre will go to bed with you but… It's a 50/50 shot if he will still be in bed when you wake up. If he is there, lucky you! If he isn’t there, expect an apology note written quite detailed and a nice breakfast with a simple apology gift next to it.
Tumblr media
💗🐉Raihan🐉💗
Battle dates. This man will take you to every single gym tournament and battle he can just to watch your excited face when something awesome happens. Seeing his treasure smile makes him all bubbly and giddy.
But don’t worry, he isn't just going to drag you around Galar showing you fight after fight. He isn’t that stupid. Raihan would definitely take you flying on Flygon so you can see the beauty of Galar from his view. Though his view won’t be on the land below.
For once, he will not mention Leon’s name once! I didn’t know that was possible but here we are. Today is about you, so Leon is flicked temporarily out of Raihan's mind and into the naughty corner.
Photo’s everywhere. Anywhere you two go, he will either stop to take a selfie with you or tell you to go pose somewhere so he can capture the moment. Defiantly will ask you before posting the photo though. Sometimes though he will sneak a photo of you when he thinks you like breath-taking. Something to keep to himself. And don't even think about saying you look bad in one of them, because he will then take a million more to prove you wrong. That or smother you in kisses so you won't say it again.
Raihan will be like Lysander when it comes to gifts. This man will SPOIL YOU! Anything you want, you’d have to grab him by the hood to stop him taking the crowd of people down with him.
He would 1000% be down for a movie marathon as well if you would rather stay inside. He will have a fort built, snacks at the ready and every movie ready.
Tumblr media
💜🎮Leon🎮💜
Bless his soul, he has no idea what to do. Leon would want to take you somewhere really nice he found during his travels, if only he could remember which direction it was in. Then he thought about a nice restaurant you had mentioned wanting to try. Which city was that in again? Perhaps he could take you out to the beach, where was that again?
He would leave it at. “I’ll follow you.” So just drag him around with you and he will gladly follow you and do what you wanna do. Just nothing reckless, he won’t do anything that could get you hurt. Unlike Raihan he would avoid battle arenas.
I feel like Leon would 100% be down for a gaming day, he’d let you take him to any game store and buy every game you wanted and just play all of them. Card, board, video all of them. Single player or multiplayer he will be right there cheering you on or giving you competitive gals with a smile.
If you're up for it, Leon would ask if Hop could join you two for a little while, not long as Leon does want to spend the day with you, but Hop sees you as a family too.
Dude cannot read. So do not ask him to read anything, he can’t tell the difference between Your and You’re. But if you like reading out loud, he will have his head in your lap listening to you read if that will make you happy.
Leon would try and make you the best cake he can! We know this man can decorate very well, the baking half is a hit or miss, definitely would have gotten help from an unknown alias. His mom.
Tumblr media
🖤🌺Cynthia🌺🖤
Forest date. This woman would give you the royal treatment. Lysander got nothing on this Queen! She will take you anywhere you want for the day. But if you ask her to pick what you do or… a surprise!? She takes that as a challenge. You will most likely wind up on a secluded part of a meadow surrounded by nature.
Tranquil and beautiful, a place for just the two of you to spend time with one another. No champion duties, paparazzi, endless questions of your relationship. Just Her and you.
Cynthia’s Roserade would make it subtly rain rose petals around the area to add to her love for you. If it’s raining, she has a plan for that too. No rain is going to ruin your special day! Hope you like dancing in the rain because she is already dragging you out to the flower meadows to dance with you hand in hand.
You can guarantee she has a picnic somewhere hidden, Where you will never know that. But this woman has come PREPARED! She’s prepared for everything, and your birthday is no exception.  She has everything, from your favourite snacks, drinks, everything. Even the blanket is your favourite colour. Cynthia even bought a pillow with her that you could sit on so you wouldn’t be uncomfortable if you wanted it.
Like Raihan her Pokémon would be involved. But instead of flying, she would use her Pokémon to put on a show for you. The rose petals from Roserade being just an example. Her Garchomp would show you a fireworks show when night arrived, along with the help of Togekiss.
She won’t spoil you with gifts. Instead she will have one thing she made for you herself. It won’t be very big, but it will show you the love she has for you. Whatever she made you, expect it to be incredibly meaningful.
Tumblr media
💛✨Volo✨💛
Cynthia had to get her skills somewhere and this is where. Volo does everything Cynthia does but somehow even more extra.
If Cynthia gives you the royal treatment, he is giving you the Deity treatment. Man has Giratina at his call, he can literally give you anything! And he will use it to his advantage at every chance he gets. He will use his craftsman skills to make you a bracelet with all of the stones on as a mark of your journey together. If you want him to make another so you can match, oh look he already did! What are the chances?
This man will take you EVERYWHERE! Even places you have never been to before on the back of Giratina, he will show you the world most don’t get to see. The world he will build for you. But he won’t spoil that surprise.
He would definitely make you food, he travels a lot so cooking is a must know skill. So your birthday with him isn't a day, it's a whole week. And every time he makes you something it is completely different. Volo is taking zero shortcuts on this adventure. He may have a Deity on his team, his Deity is sat Infront of him admiring the stars.
Speaking of Stars. Stargazing is a must on every clear night you two get. He would lay his jacket down for you to lay on and look up at the sky together.
Volo would make sure to stop around different areas and tell you about the history there, watching your expression carefully to see the enthusiasm and curiosity on it which just makes him want to try harder to get that smile to stay there.
He will also use his trade skills to get you something that caught your eye from wherever he took you. Volo may have money but he will use his skills where he can. Giratina isn’t the only benefit he has. Dude is a travelling merchant after all. He has more knowledge than everyone combined. Expect him to show you off however. He loves you more than anything, and wants the world to know that.

🎆•♡•🎆•♡•🎆•♡•🎆•♡•🎆•♡•🎆•♡•🎆•♡•🎆
The silhouette of Yilong Wharf draws nearer and becomes larger with each step taken toward it; the distant view is rendered unfocused by the uneven terrain being traversed. The sleepy sun is drooping down behind the teal hills to the west, bathing the sky in an ethereal medley of pinks, yellows, and reds. The afternoon today seems to hold an air of melancholy that wasn't present in the last, yet it still has enough beauty to overshadow that faint sadness.
Aether sighs for what could've been the hundredth time today; his mind playing the memory of the events on Mt. Mingyuan on a loop. He did regret leaving the mountain, even if it was on request out of concern for his and Paimon's safety. There were so many questions he wanted to ask them, the possibility of also gaining more information about Lumine meant that most of them were about her. Yet there was also the mystery of Chenyu Vale's skies that he longed to uncover; the curiosity that it stirred in him tumbled about in his mind.
‘But… that's not too important right now…’
The golden blonde thought as he gazed down at the snoozing fairy-like girl in his arms with soft eyes, gently moving a lock of white hair from her face.
“Don't worry, Paimon, I'll make sure to cook you something extra delicious once we get back to the Inn. I shouldn't have scared you like that.”
Aether mutters to her as he strokes her head.
The small girl peels her eyes open just a bit and smiles sleepily at her traveling companion; her eyes are all red and puffy with dried tears in the corners of her eyes.
“Hehe… Paimon will make sure… to hold you to that, so make sure you keep your promise, okay?”
She whispers between yawns in her hoarse and scratchy voice; a little fist going up to rub at her eyes as the other takes a handful of his shirt.
The golden blonde only nodded and chuckled softly at her cute mannerisms, the display reminding him of a small child. He watched as she made futile attempts to fight sleep; eyes drooping and head bobbing to the side. The soft smile on his face only softened further as he took the initiative and began to gently rock her back and forth. Paimon seemingly finally relents and falls into slumber; her little hand still holding onto his shirt.
Aether sighs once again, somehow traveling with Paimon has made him miss his sister even more with each passing day. Instead of being the younger sibling, he feels like the older one. He'd always wanted a younger sibling, to be looked up to and relied on, to be sought out for protection or advice. Somedays, he wonders if Lumine is relieved now that he's not tagging along with her everywhere; since he fished the small girl out of the water on the beach under Starnatch Cliff, the golden blonde has learned how much responsibility is required to take care of someone younger than you.
The familiar sight of charcoal gray shingled white walls closes in as the golden-eyed boy approaches the side entrance of the wharf. He can already see the adeptea filled shallow baskets that were sat out to dry in the hot sun a couple days before. The children that usually wandered about and played had long retired back to their homes and into their beds at this time of day.
The setting sun, now just barely peeking over the rolling hills in the distance, has blanketed the landscape in a warm peach film.
Hopefully, tomorrow will be far more productive.
Tumblr media
It had been a few days since the incident at Mt. Mingyuan and Aether had thought it best to begin making their way back towards Liyue Harbor. At the moment he and Paimon were behind Mt. Lingmeng on the side opposite to river Jademouth; about halfway to Qioaying Village. The two were now enjoying some of the golden-eyed traveler's cooking as they relaxed after the days of walking that they had endured.
In the peaceful atmosphere, the only noises were the rhythmic sloshing of the river beside them, the bubbling of the water cooking pot, and the crackling of the fire beneath it, Paimon's munching, and—
“Oh! Hey Traveler!”
A familiar voice called out to the golden blonde and broke him from his observation; the figures of a certain aspiring wushu dancer and his suanni companion coming into view.
Aether smiled, it had been a while since the two had last seen each other. Gaming's refreshing grin never failed to put the otherworldly blonde at ease when he was stressed; not to mention he always carries around that delicious winter melon cake.
Paimon grins as she floats off the chair that she was sitting on previously; overenthusiastically waving to the ochre-eyed boy and Man Chai. A chunk of chicken on the skewer that the girl was violently waving around flew and landed on the ground, making her whine and pout. The golden blonde chuckles at her as he pulls more food out of the cooking pot that he was kneeled over.
“I hope I'm not interrupting you both. I saw you from the road and thought I'd say hi!”
The red-brunette goods transporter chirped kindly as he approached the small camp that the traveling pair had set up just off to the side of the nearby dirt road.
Aether only shakes his head in response and offers the other boy a few skewers; piercing steaming and fragrant chunks of chicken and mushrooms onto a few more of the still bare sharp ended sticks. Gaming thanks him and grabs a few, though the golden blonde suspected that it wasn't out of hunger but to be polite.
The four of them –well, three, since Man Chai can't really talk– caught each other up on what they had been up to while the other was away. In the midst of it all, however, a certain otherworldly boy had an epiphany. Didn't Gaming know Cloud Retainer? If he knew her, he might also know that mysterious adeptus that was on the mountain! Although it might be a small stretch, it was worth a try at the very least.
“Hey, Gaming. Do you know of any adepti that live on Mt. Mingyuan or like to visit it often?”
The golden-eyed traveler eagerly inquired during a moment of comfortable silence between the trio.
Aether's sudden question had brought an expression of deep thought to the red-brunette's face; the boy's brow and nose crinkling as he contorted his face in contemplation. It was truly a cute display, though Paimon and the golden blonde wouldn't dare to say it out loud just in case they embarrassed the other.
Tapping his chin, the ochre-eyed boy glances to the side as if he had found an answer, but was unsure if it was the correct one. But, he nodded to himself with resolve before turning his gaze back to the long haired boy.
“I think I know who you're talking about. I don't know his name since he never told me, but he let me give him a nickname instead. Uncle Měilì is what I call him.”
Gaming replies, yet his answer only seems to raise even more questions.
“Uncle Měilì? Why did you call him uncle? Ah! Are you half adeptus!? Hey! How could you hide that from Paimon!?”
Paimon exclaims, spewing questions while placing a hand on her chest and giving Sword & Strongbox goods transporter a scandalized look; leftover food scraps still clinging to the corners of her mouth.
The ochre-eyed boy chuckles in a bashful way as a cartoon sweatdrop falls down the side of his head in a slow and comical fashion. Scratching the back of his head; he looked away in embarrassment at the sound of the name Měilì coming from another person's mouth. He was really bad at naming things when he was young, it seems.
“No, he's not my uncle by blood. He's just taken care of me from time to time since I was little,so I call him Uncle. It's like how I call Aunty Xianyun, Aunty.”
The red-brunette explains, adjusting his position to sit cross-legged instead of crouching just above the grass covered ground.
Paimon bobbed her head in understanding, her white hair bouncing and swaying along with the movement before Aether grabbed her chin and turned her face in his direction. He brought a small rag up to her cheeks and wiped away the leftover crumbs from earlier that had been bothering him; muttering something about how the small girl was 'so messy'.
“Did this adeptus you're talking about have the form of a glowing cloud of mist? Maybe glowing as well?”
The golden blonde asked absentmindedly, his focus still occupied with cleaning up his fairy-like companions' appearance.
Gaming's eyes seemed to glimmer with familiarity at the other boy's words. He grinned widely, holding up his weight with his palms pressed into Chenyu Vale's token blueish-greenish grass. His body rocked back and forth with giddiness as memories flooded in and swirled around in his brain.
“He let you see his illuminated beast form? You both are lucky; he's usually not comfortable enough to allow people to know he's there, let alone see him. I even have a hard time convincing him to let me see it.”
The goods transporter gazes at them both with admiration, clearly impressed by their normally impossible feat.
Aether raised a brow, his mind stewing with the new information. That was ‘Uncle Měilì’ true illuminated beast form? Weren't the adepti all some iteration of the ancient beasts of Liyue? Considering the other known adepti and their adeptal forms;
Zhongli is a dragon, Cloud Retainer and Mountain Shaper are cranes, Moon Carver is a stag, Madam Ping….?, Xiao is some type of bird, Ganyu is Half Qilin, Yanfei is Half… something, Tubby and Chubby are finches?, Changsheng is a Serpent, Fujin is a Carp, and Lingyuan is a Suanni?
All of them are some type of animal, so what's with the adeptus on Mt. Mingyuan?
“Is he not an illuminated beast? I mean- I know you called it his illuminated beast form, but all Paimon and I saw was a cloud of mist.”
The golden blonde asked as he finally pulled away from his little friend, turning his gaze back to Gaming.
“You sure are curious about Uncle, but I don't mind answering more questions. Uncle is an illuminated beast; under the cloud of mist is a tortoise. The cloud is kind of like a tortoise shell from what I've seen.”
The red-brunette answers him calmly, tilting his head back to look up at the darkening sky, the sun beginning to hide itself behind the hills in the distance.
Golden eyes follow the aspiring wushu dancer's vision, taking note of the time. Aether then turns to his travel bag, opening one of the pouches and pulling out a sleeping bag.
“How about you stay the night with us, it'll take a while for you to get to the next village.”
The Outlander suggests, lifting the sleeping bag towards Gaming with a kind smile that had an underlying pleading look to it.
Ochre eyes curve into crescents as the boy grabs onto the offered sleeping bag, carefully bringing it towards himself as he beams at the golden blonde in gratitude.
“Im- I'm heading back to Wangshu Inn in the morning to let Miss Verr Goldett know that their goods have been delivered… Do you want to come with me, since you're heading that way anyway?”
The red-brunette suggests, shyly diverting his gaze to the side and scratching the back of his neck.
Both boys get under the covers of their respective sleeping bags, facing each other as their companions also slide themselves into the warmth of the makeshift bed.
“That would be nice, it's been a while since I've traveled with someone other than Paimon.”
Aether spoke in a whisper, golden eyes heavy with fatigue; he paused for a while before speaking once more.
“Goodnight, Gaming.”
“Goodnight, Traveler.”
The red-brunette whispers back, snuggling deeper into his sleeping bag.
“Goodnight, Traveler and Gaming don't let the cincins bite.”
Paimon's sleepy muffled voice called out the two from her place inside her and the golden blonde's shared sleeping bag.
“Rrmph”
Man Chai grumbles, softly headbutting Gaming's chest in complaint.
“Hehe Yes, you too, Man Chai.”
The ochre-eyed boy chuckles as he softly pats his suanni companion on their furry head.
As the four fell into slumber, the moon rose into the sky. Vibrant colors weave themselves into the dark tapestry that was the blackened night sky, creating a colorful masterpiece.

Summer Is...
Tumblr media
All characters (except Luke) x GN! reader
AN: Did something a little different, so I hope you enjoy! I tried to distribute the characters equally, so I'm sorry if a few characters have more or less than others 😣
Warnings: Mention of skinny-dipping but nothing suggestive
Tumblr media
Summer is a picnic in the shade where stolen kisses are shared with the lingering taste of strawberries on your tongues. Soft giggles ring through the air, harmonizing with the chirping birds and the gentle breeze through the trees.
- Asmo, Beel, Simeon, Solomon, Thirteen
Summer is a long drive to nowhere with the windows down and loudly blasting music. There are shared smiles between you two and a loving hand on your knee as you both sing to your heart’s content.
- Lucifer, Mammon, Diavolo
Summer is creating silly sundaes that are too sweet to consume on your own, so you share it with another. Your spoons purposefully, but playfully, knock into the other’s while a few bites are fed to each other in between your playing.
- Beel, Barbatos, Solomon
Summer is laying on a blanket in the middle of a field during a clear evening when the stars are perfectly visible. Fingers point to different constellations as their stories are recounted, and a shooting star streaks across the sky as your hands shyly tangle together, the both of you silently wishing for another night like this.
- Satan, Belphie, Solomon, Raphael
Summer is sitting among a field of wildflowers where flowers are picked and delicately braided into little crowns. You both anoint each other’s heads with their presence while your hearts do backflips just from seeing how cute the other looks while wearing them.

Summer is skinny-dipping in a lake that’s hidden from view. Laughs and screams echo around the area as you both splash each other until your bodies are completely soaked. They disappear below the water, only to sneakily emerge from behind as you feel a pair of arms wrap around you, never wanting to let you go.
- Mammon, Levi, Asmo, Thirteen
Summer is walking on the beach with sand between your toes as gentle waves lap around your ankles. Your skin is red hot from being out too long in the sun, but the two of you only care about how perfectly your fingers intertwine together as your eyes comb over the shoreline ahead of you in search of washed up seashells to take home.
- Levi, Belphie, Thirteen
Summer is scouring for interestingly shaped rocks to be painted on and made as a summer keepsake. The cold drinks turn warm and the hours of talking do nothing but distract from the task at hand. But once the craft is done and the paint has dried, you exchange them to hold onto forever.
- Lucifer, Satan, Asmo, Raphael
Summer is having an outdoor movie night with a mountain of blankets and pillows to keep yourselves warm and off the grass. There are snacks galore, lots of laughter, and even more snuggling until you both inevitably fall asleep under the stars while the movie plays on.
- Mammon, Levi, Belphie
Summer is having a bonfire to roast marshmallows, make smores, and tell scary stories. It’s all fun and games until one of you eats too many smores or gets too spooked that you have to head inside, but the smell of the smoke on your clothes and hair reminds you that it was worth it to get to spend time together.
- Mammon, Beel, Diavolo
Summer is dancing barefoot in the grass while the sky turns orange and pink as the sun sets. Lights are hung in the trees to give light to the forest as you both plan to keep dancing until dawn. Songs are sung between you two, the only other sound accompanying is of the frogs and crickets chirping.
- Asmo, Diavolo, Solomon, Thirteen
Summer is watching the fireworks at the end of a festival. Eyes sparkle with excitement as bodies lean into each other, sharing warmth, wanting to remain close to cherish this moment together. A soft kiss is shared once the last firework pops in the background.
- Lucifer, Beel, Diavolo, Mephistopheles
Summer is handwritten letters to your summer love. Each letter reminisces on the fun things you did together. And while you both are separated for now, you both look forward to the next summer, imagining more ways to spend more time with the one you love.

stranded due to inclement weather & pwp - percabeth
Because of the prompt, this one has a little bit of sex in it. Honestly, I don't think it's graphic. But not reason to bombard people.
“We are never doing this again,” Annabeth complained. “It is the beach or bust from now on. I know you can handle a hurricane.”
“Love the faith, babe,” Percy said, but he pulled her closer, too. The cabin had plenty of blankets, and there was plenty of wood for the stove. But still, nothing beat his wife for warmth.
“Do you disagree.”
“Not at all, you’re the one who said you wanted neutral territory.”
Meaning for their weekend getaway babymoon, instead of going out to Montauk or San Francisco or Boston or anywhere else that had a pier or a wharf or a beach, they’d try something completely different, and had rented a little cabin up in the Adirondack.
It was supposed to be isolated, but supremely comfortable. Water and electricity but no internet or cell service. With a series of relatively easy hiking trails around it and a beautiful porch featuring a hot tube they could not use but great views of the changing fall leaves.
Annabeth had brought some nålebinding, Percy had brought Insula Thesauraria and Superbia et Odium at Paul’s suggestion. And they had brought a treasure trove of ingredients so when Percy got sick and tired of reading, he cook them a feast.
It was Sunday evening. They were supposed to leave 3 hours ago. Instead, a freak, late fall Nor’easter had decided to blow through. They had lost power around noon, though Percy was able to keep the pipes running. They’d used an Iris Message to contact her dad at home, and get a confirmation on the weather, and that he could keep babysitting for the next day or so, depending on how long it would take to go.
Then they’d gone back to their favorite babymoon activity. Practicing for the next one. But Percy need some recovery time.
“I didn’t know we were going to get snowed in.” “I mean, you’re the viking princess. Would have thought this was just your speed.”
She stuck her tongue out at him, “The Vikings were all about their boats, you know that. Not remote mountain cabins.”
“Yeah,” He said, “that’s why you like me so much.” He ran his hand down her side, brushing along where the curve of her belly started to jut out, and then down further.
“Are you ready again?” She asked, not quite breathless, but with an anticipatory quiver to her voice.
“No,” he said, sitting up, “but I think you are, aren’t you Princess?”
She shivered, maybe at his touch, maybe at the pet name.
“Maybe we should play a game.” He offered. “You like games, don’t you.”
She just nodded as his nails scratched lightly through the blonde curls, but did not let his fingers even dip into her folds, let alone brushing her clit or pushing into her cunt.
“You’re a viking princess, I think,” He said, finally running one finger along the inner lips, “who traveled down the Dnieper to capture a poor boy who only knows life by the warm Mediterranean Sea.”
“I captured you?” He was shifting now, moving down, until she couldn't really see his face, blocked as it was, between her thighs, and hidden by her belly.
“Of course, you did, Princess. A fine worrier would certainly have no trouble with such things. But now, we’ve been stuck in a cave, all snowed in. And I’ve decided to turn the tables”
The lore got a little lost, after that. But who needed plot, anyway. Viking Princess Annabeth didn’t mind at all.

🌀🌀🌀 you want to write a fluff fic for ti 🌀🌀🌀
a/n: okay okay no need to beg i'll do it (to protect myself, this is a joke)
Tumblr media
you’re standing at the almost too large window of your hotel room, the glass panels stretching from wall to wall and floor to ceiling, separated by a similar glass door in the center. they’re so well-kept that it feels like if you step forward you might just walk through them, into the sandy beach below. it would feel so good, the salty breeze combing through your hair and the warm grains of of sand between your toes.
but you just got here. your suitcases were still upright and unpacked, you’re in your comfy airport outfit, and you kind of wanted to curl up into bed for a minimum of one hour.
chris startles you a bit when he wraps his arms around your waist from behind, leaning into you so he can rest his chin on your shoulder. he takes in deep breath, sagging against you as he lets it out. you can smell his cologne, sweet from where it had sunken into his skin during the long flight here.
“i bet it looks more beautiful at night, where you can see the stars and the mountains in the moonlight,” you say, a little wistfully as he looks out into the water. it isn’t often that life slows down enough for you to be able to appreciate things like the view.
he opens a latch on the door and it swings open, the salty air hitting the both of you so fast you can almost taste it. he moves away from behind you, taking your hand in his smoothly as he walks you towards the steps leading straight to the beach from your balcony. normally, you’d turn up your nose at a bottom story hotel room, but having a door that leads straight to the warm sand and water was enough to convince you.
you let him go, enjoying the view of his broad back illuminated by the sun and curly hair tousling in the wind. he turns around, several steps away from you, and holds out his hand, a grin playing at his lips and his eyes shining -
and something white overtakes your vision and squawks, and you let out a high-pitched noise you’ll deny making later and duck, covering your head with your hands. you hear him let out a snort and you glare at him through your fingers, spotting a seagull - the culprit - flying away behind him.
he jobs back up to you and runs his hands through your hair, straightening it back out from where the bird had messed it up, an amused smile still on his face. you drop your hands from your face with a huff, pouting up at him in the way you know makes him melt, every single time.
“did the little bird make you scared?” he teases.
“chris,” you warn, having to physically restrain yourself from slapping his arm.
“okay, okay,” he relents, wrapping his arms around you. “let’s go down to the water, hmm? i’ll make sure to protect you from all the birds.” “chris!”

Summer trip to (uninhabited, remote, idyllic holiday) island but by accident A & B are left behind alone (or they miss the boat back to main land or a shipwreck (boat wreck??) happens
James Potter could never stay still, it was a blessing and a curse. He could be bored to death in a class and he would always be restless somehow. He would either bounce his leg, write on the corner of his books and parchments, or play with a stolen Snitch when professors were not looking.
It wasn’t James’ fault that he was so full of energy, he did try to stay still, he did try to seem like he was paying attention, but in reality he was bored in many of them. Having eidetic memory and an abundance of energy really played against him.
However, when it came to classes outdoors James became much more serene. He loved Care of Magical creatures, going to the grounds exploring, or how he needed to get his hands dirty with Herboly, but what had gotten his attention lately was Astronomy.
Professor Pruitt had a hands-on approach to teaching, he rarely liked the Tower for his teachings and was always testing their knowledge in the field (near the Forbidden Forest), which James was always excited for. And even if at first he took the class for an easy O, now it had become one of his favourite ones.
For his 6th year students, Professor Pruitt had a surprise; they would travel to the coast to be able to watch a comet that passed near earth every 60 years, and this time around it would be visible in the southern part of the country.
It meant a trip with the Astronomy class for two nights, maybe if the weather would allow it they might be able to enjoy a bit of the beach before returning to classes and tests, and all the things they needed to overcome before the end of the school year. One last trip of fun before going back to the responsibility of the upcoming reality that awaited them back home.
James and his friends were beyond excited. Even if Sirius already knew the sky like the back of his hand, Remus was so determined to get as many O’s as possible that he learned everything he could from the book the Professor used for class. Peter was something to admire, he might not know every star, but knew every constellation name and their stories, and how they related to magical events. It was a thing of wonder.
All they could do was plan for the trip and hope that the usual group of bigoted students wouldn’t make things worse.
Once they finally arrived at the Isles of Scilly the weather was amazing, it screamed to ditch the group and just got to the beach, however Professor Pruitt had other plans.
“Before I lose you lads to the island, I must remind you that this is not a leisure trip, we are here with a purpose, and thus I must give you these.” The older man handled everyone a parchment with a copy of the assignment, “The comet will be visible around 4am, so we must get there before that and settle, some muggle bystanders might be around, so please refrain from using magic.” he explained, as he finished handling the paper, “You have been randomly paired, no you can not swap, and I expect a full report by the end of this trip. That is all.”
James was sure that whomever he would be paired with it wouldn’t be too terrible.
As he scanned the paper he heard a familiar voice exclaim: “Potter?!”
Lily had read the list of things they needed to measure and how to better calculate the trajectory of the comet to get accurate readings and optimal experience. She knew that celestial events affected living beings and that might affect the ingredients and steps in potion making, so she was taking this class fairly seriously, as she wanted to pursue a career in Potions.
Everything seemed in order, instructions were straight forward, and she could actually picture herself relaxing before going to the top of the nearby mountain for a better view.
That was until she saw the name of the person she was paired with: James Potter.
The gods did not smile upon her, Lily had had a weird relationship with the fellow Gryffindor, they weren’t on bad terms at the moment, but she felt that they were not exactly friends. And in spite of him being a great student, and probably a great teammate, she just remembered how he could not stay put for more than 5 minutes. Which might infuriate her at the end of a long evening.
After she, unintentionally, said his last name out loud, everyone in their group turned to her. The tone of her skin matching the one of her hair.
“All right, Evans?” she heard James Potter asked.
Lily blushed harder.
“Yes, just didn’t expect us to be paired.” she admitted, putting the parchment inside her back.
James seemed like he was mulling over something, was she really that loud? Was her tone that annoyed? She didn’t want to go back to the awkward phase they were in after 5th year, once was enough. They have so many friends in common she did not want to go back to weather talk.
“I thought somehow you would charm the papers to be with Sirius, we all know you two can not be apart.” she tried joking, making some eyes roll.
“He knows he can’t have me forever, Red.” Sirius chipped in, “I should find McKinnon to sort the schedules.” he explained, patting James' shoulder, who looked disheartened, he was not looking at Lily, nor at Sirius leave. James was just nodding to his friend’s statement.
One by one they all went to their partners trying to come up with a plan where they could all enjoy and do the assignment. Leaving James and Lily alone to speak.
James ran his hand through his hair, messing it more than it already was. Something she had noticed increased near herself.
Did she make him nervous?
“We should also try to schedule our times.” she offered, hoping that it would be an olive branch more than anything.
Every interaction with James and Lily seemed weird, they were not on bad terms, they were amicable towards each other, but it seemed that as much as they both changed (individually and as friends) things weren’t smooth. James was always afraid of saying the wrong thing, and Lily always believed she was too hard on her fellow classmate, when lately she could see more of his point than she cared to admit.
After a lot of fidgeting from James, not knowing what to do with his pent up energy. And Lily’s rambling and blushing, they decided that they would each pack a bag with different things, a thermos of warm tea, and met in front of the hotel at 3am when the classroom decided to leave with the Professor.
Both of them tried to enjoy their day with their friends and did a bit of exploring around, enjoying the different view from Scotland and Hogwarts grounds. And one would say that they would be exhausted after a day at the beach where they did anything but lay down and sunbathe.
However, James’ restless energy was too much to be contained. He did try to get a few hours of sleep, tossed and turned in bed as his mind went over the things in his bag, making a mental list trying to not forget anything, if he did he was sure that the awkwardness between him and Lily would be more palpable. But in spite of double checking that everything was correct, he could not find rest.
Checking the watch on his nightstand he saw that it was around 2am. He still had one hour to meet with Lily, and the rest of the class, and judging by how awake he really was it would be almost impossible to fall asleep.
Suddenly an idea formed, it wasn’t a particularly bold one, but it was better than staying in bed looking at the ceiling.
Gathering his things, leaving a note in the nightstand and trying not to wake his best mate sleeping in the bed next to his, he climbed down the room to the front of the little hotel and to the street.
The night was chillier than he expected, the day was so warm that he forgot that they were still in the United Kingdom and not some tropical place. It was good that he decided to bring a jumper.
During the day James and his friends went exploring around, they found the place where Professor Pruitt had decided to take his students to see the comet. It was a nice mountain that overviewed the island. He figured that he had enough time to go up there, set the equipment in the best spot; gain some points with Lily, and go back before they needed to meet.
Some people might think he was crazy and he would be beyond exhausted when he would get back with the group. Hindering the project in the process. But James knew that it was the opposite, he would be the right kind of tired, where he would be useful instead of trying to stay still and failing in the process.
That’s how his journey started, with a positive attitude and considering if he should get snacks after he got back.
The moon was half full, making it ideal to see the sky but also to not trip over the walk, and the path to the viewing spot wasn’t steep, with a good pace anyone could make it up and back.
Due to the hour James imagined the path to be deserted, he figured he could transform into Prongs once he was more hidden by the surrounding trees, enjoying the freedom of running around a new landscape. It would be a great way to go and come back, doing even better time; not wanting to be late in case Lily decided to be there earlier than what they had agreed upon.
Closing his eyes he focused on the familiar shapes of Prongs; the long legs, the white fur, the itchy antlers that were about to shade. Everything to evoke the perfect transformation.
Feeling the familiar pull in his gut he let every other thought out from his head…
“What are you doing here?” a familiar voice asked.
Of all the times that James expected to hear Lily Evans’ voice, in the middle of a transformation was not one of them. He knew things could go wrong if he did not focus and he tried his best to stop the spell as it were. It seemed that his body listened better than his brain.
“I couldn’t sleep.” he admitted, turning to look at her.
Lily’s cheeks were sunkissed, James could see that she had spent a day at the beach. She would probably have a few more freckles after the trip. James found himself thinking.
“So you decided to sneak out and go for a walk,” it wasn’t accusatory, it was matter-of-fact.
“If I stay in, I'll start waking everyone up, figured it would be best if I did something useful with my energy.” he shrugged, readjusting one of the straps of his backpack.
“Seems we were both thinking the same thing.”
Lily smiled at James, and it seemed all of the tension and worry from earlier had vanished; his shoulders relaxed, and he found himself smiling back at her. Maybe this wouldn’t be a disastrous pairing after all.
“Where were you planning on going?” Lily asked.
James blushed, he really didn’t want to be seen as the dork that wanted to be prepared, but it was true that was what he was thinking. “I thought maybe I could go and grab us a good spot to watch the comet.” he admitted, hoping she wouldn’t think he was the biggest dork in history.
“Oh,” she sounded surprised, James was not sure how he felt about that.
“That sounds like a great idea.” Lily added, as she was wondering why she didn’t think of that herself. She just wanted to get rid of some energy before the class gathered.
They started walking in silence uphill, there was nothing much to distract them from the awkwardness. It was not that they didn’t have anything in common, just that Lily believed that everything she said sounded like a scolding, when she didn’t mean to. And James believed every word he uttered around Lily (unsupervised) was terrible or misconstructed.
His body reacted oddly to that silence. He needed to say something, do something, other than just walk straight in that slow pace, so instead of following the boring old path he decided that he should skip along the logs that delimited the path from the woods.
Lily looked at James as he balanced on each log precariously. “Don’t you ever do something normal?” she asked, genuinely curious, he never seemed to just follow a straight path or instructions, there was always a work around. Something that the other people would not do or think about.
“What do you mean?” he asked, still walking, feeling his anxiety lower when he had to focus on balance.
Lily chuckled. He looked a bit childish, but in the best way, she didn’t remember the last time she played at anything like that. She had too many responsibilities and expectations in her to let go.
“You never do what’s expected, if you go on a path instead of going through the designated area for walking you go on the sidelines. If a professor asks you for an assignment you always ask a million questions on the importance of said work, like you never do just what is expected of you, you are always too curious to just follow what has already been set up. It’s a bit unnerving.” She admitted, making James’ heart sink a little. “It is also refreshing.” she admitted finally, not really looking at him, she believed that even with the darkness of the night he would still see her blush.
James chuckled at her words, “Why don’t you try it?” he offered, “Who is to say that you are not supposed to walk on these if you want a less taciturn experience?” he continued, “There are a few things that can only be looked from one point of view, my parents taught me that, they always taught me to ask a lot of questions.” he admitted “Besides, if you don’t come up here, you wouldn’t notice there is a stream below that looks gorgeous under the dim moonlight.”
Lily was surprised by that, it seemed great to ask a lot of questions when facing things that seemed a bit unfair and out of touch, but some things were too straight forward for you to be questioning them. However, at James’ mention of a different view she now was eager to see what was to look at things under his perspective.
She climbed on the log as he did, looking at the creek below them, and as James said it was gorgeous, like something unperturbed by the humans that passed through that path every day. It made Lily wonder what else James saw that the rest of them did not.
The walk got easier from them, at least in terms of conversation. It got easier to understand each other after that, setting aside past prejudices and trying to see things from each other’s perspective.
Lily learned that James’ parents asked him as many questions as he asked everyone else, trying to have an open and interesting relationship with his son. James learned that Lily put a lot of other people’s expectations on her shoulder trying to be the perfect friend, sister and daughter, and understood a bit better why she always seemed to be so stern even when in reality she was funny and witty, and as curious as James.
They continued to chat amicably, conversation grew easily the more time it passed. James was glad for it, and Lily seemed to be relaxing a bit more now that there was nothing more than a walk.
At some point Lily got distracted, she was not sure how he lost her footing, if it was a tricky log, slippery, or her body was too tired and she did not realise it. But all in all she knew she was falling to the creek and she could just hear herself scream and trying to hold on to something to stop it.
“Lily!” James was heard yelling after her. And then she felt something warm and soft around her, making her fall soft as she rolled downhill. James had stopped it.
“Are you okay?” Lily heard James ask, and she took account of her body. She was a bit sore, and she knew she would hurt more later on, but it all seemed okay at the moment.
“Yes, I think so. Just a bit wet.” she admitted, as she knew they got to the creek by unconventional ways, all she wanted to do was get up and dry herself, get back to the path so they could get to see the comet. However, life had other plans.
As soon as Lily put weight on her foot, a searing pain went up her leg, making her scream at the top of her lungs and falling back down on her bum.
James hurried to duck next to her and looked all over to see any injuries, “Where?” he was frantic as he saw the colour drained from Lily’s face.
“Foot.” was all she could muster, as she breathed the pain away. Slowly managing to get the unbearable pain to a low throb.
“Okay, it’s going to be okay,” he moved his hand, a little wince as he pulled his wand and showed it was broken in half. “Fuck.” he muttered. Lily’s eyes went as wide as they could.
“Oh no, James your wand, I’m so sorry.”
“It’s okay.” He was panting as her, maybe he hit something as well, they took a pretty nasty fall, but he seemed okay in spite of not having his wand. “Maybe we can use yours? I know a few casting spells to keep that not moving until we get back.” he explained, but as Lily went to retrieve her wand she felt nothing in her pocket.
“I think it might have fallen.” she said quietly, hating that she hadn’t learned yet how to accio it back, she had been trying but there was so much on her plate at the moment.
“We can come back with light and try to find it. But first we need to get out of here.” He took off his backpack, wincing again, making Lily worry.
“Are you okay yourself?” Lily asked worriedly.
“Brill, just sore.” he lied, but Lily did not have to know that on top of her nasty sprain, he had sprained his wrist as well. He could endure, he had had worse with Quidditch matches and Snape’s & Co. hexes. “You do know how to fall.” he tried teasing her worries away, instructing her to put the backpack herself. “You’ll carry it, I’ll carry you.”
Instructions were easy enough, Lily just had to lay off her foot, and James was already turning around so Lily could climb onto his back, arms around his neck, legs around his waist. Making Lily feel a bit embarrassed.
“Isn’t it too heavy? You could go up and get someone.” she offered, worried that he was doing too much.
“I won’t leave you here all alone in the middle of the night.” James was not taking no for an answer, he was just waiting for Lily to feel secure to start climbing the steep hill himself.
Lily could hear the grunts from pain and effort coming out of James, she was not sure why he was going above and beyond for someone that he wasn’t as close with, even though she was grateful that he didn’t leave her in the middle of nowhere with a swollen ankle.
It took longer than if he had gone alone to climb back to the path. They almost slipped back a couple of times but James managed to get them up safely.
“We are closer to the viewing point than the hotel.” he explained as he sat Lily on one of the logs for a moment while his breath evened out. “We should wait there for the others, not sure if they’ll take this path or the one that goes around the beach.” he said, looking down the path hoping to see or hear something, but he didn’t.
When he turned around he could see Lily was still a little pale and shivering from the soreness and dampness of her clothes. “Here,” he said, offering his jacket.
The redhead looked at him and shook her head, “You’ll need it, the temperature is lowering.”
James chuckled, a bit uneven, “I’m carrying you around, I’m actually a bit hot.” he admitted looking her in the eyes, something he didn’t dare to do often. “Take the jacket, Evans, I’ll be warm enough I didn’t fall in the water.”
Lily didn’t need too much persuasion, soon she was putting the jacket and getting the backpack on once more, before they parted towards the comet viewing place.
It didn’t take long for them to reach a spot. It was exactly what was marked on the map the Professor gave them.
James had prepared some blankets for them to sit on, he put one below them so they would not sit on the cold hard floor, and grabbed the second one to replace his jacket. Noticing Lily still shivering he sat behind her, allowing her back to be up to his chest.
“What are you doing?” she asked, not putting too much of a fight, she was exhausted, in pain but she needed to admit that James’ warmer body behind hers felt nice. Even if the position was a little odd for two friends to be in.
“Relax, we just have one blanket left, and your back is all wet. Don’t want you to catch a cold, but don’t want to catch my death either.” he mumbled behind her, reaching out for his bag, wincing a bit as he got a hold of it.
“You got yourself hurt too, why didn’t you say anything?” she said holding his hand, examining his wrist, that looked swollen from a sprain and the effort to carry her.
James blushed knowing exactly why he didn’t say anything, she would argue with him that they could both wait by the creek, but that would mean she would be colder and it would be almost impossible for them to be seen by the others. She would insist that they should both rest, or that he would go without her, and he would not have that.
“I’m used to it, I get injured in Quidditch all the time. Don’t worry about it.”
“Of course I worry! I care about you, you bloody idiot, we could have come up with a different plan!” she could not believe he had been that careless, he could endanger his Quidditch career because of it. It wasn’t like they were in mortal peril, they could wait for morning, their grades were not that important, his well being was more important than that.
“You were going to suggest to leave you there, or to wait there while you get even wetter, colder and with less and less chance of us getting found by the group. And I was not going to risk you for a sprain that I’m sure Sirius will heal as soon as he gets here." There was no discussion to be had, she was not going to convince him to have left her behind, no amount of Quidditch and future prospects he had, a human life was more important.
Lily tried to argue as she saw him taking a thermos out of the bag, she helped him with it since she knew he would be hurting even if he did not show it. “I still deserved to be told, I’m not a damsel in distress, I can think for myself, even come up with something other than staying behind. I don’t appreciate not having a say.” She opened the thermos and poured what seemed to be hot tea.
James felt embarrassed, of course she should have had a say in all, but he was thinking on his feet more than dismissing her ideas. “Drink, it’ll do you good.” he added softly.
“It’ll do you good as well, you must also be cold.” She gave him the cup and waited for him to drink to pour herself a cup.
After they drank the tea they just stay there, next to each other, keeping the warmth of their bodies by proximity and hoping that sooner rather than later they would be found.
After a while Lily murmured “Thanks,” back to James, “for not leaving me behind.” she added, for good measure, to which he replied “No need.”
Their bodies’ tiredness won over after they made themselves as comfortable as possible, and soon enough slumber took over, each other enjoying the safe company of the other. That is how the class found them: sound asleep, dirty, and hugging each other.

three almost kisses and the one time nothing could interrupt

When Illinois proudly announced that the two of you would be attending an auction again, flashbacks from last time hit you like a tsunami. Luckily for you, you were informed of his plans two weeks in advance and not hours in advance like last time, giving you plenty of time to prepare.
The first thing you did was insist that you wear your outfit from last time and he didn't have to buy you a new one. You accidentally found out how much he paid for it, which nearly gave you a heart attack. The only reason you still had it was Illinois's argument that it was a birthday present and you didn't want to be rude. And yes, you even kept the overpriced ring that could possibly be an ancient relic. The second was to find out more information about the auction. This time it was about a deceased collector whose collection is being liquidated so that the family can pay off the mountain of debt that the deceased had left them. It looks like you might even find it this time as the deceased specialized in ancient artifacts and judging by the thumbnails were the kind of artifacts you're after.
The sight of Illinois in a suit was something you could never get used to. It was just wrong. But it gave you the opportunity to tie his bow tie, which in turn gave you an excuse to get close to him. "Let's go over the rules again," you said as you straightened the bow tie. "Why are we going to the auction?" Illinois sighed. "To find potential pieces for my collection." "What don't we do?" "Do not purchase artifacts of unknown and/or questionable origin." "And?" "And don't give my partner any gifts that cost me more than fifty dollars." The fifty dollars was still a compromise. You wanted to go lower than ten bucks, after all he was still your boss and after all he was obligated to pay you and he paid you well above average, which is why you didn't see the point of expensive gifts. But he insisted that there should be at least fifty. He referred to this as a bonus for excellent work performance.
A look out of the window told you that the limousine had already arrived and was now waiting for you. You went to grab your coat, but Illinois grabbed your arm. You looked at him in surprise. “After the auction...would you like to go out for dinner afterward? It doesn't have to be expensive! We can also just make a detour to McDonald's and get something there.” A gentle smile graced your face. Illinois was always so cute when he was shy. This was a side of him that only you got to see. "I'd love to have dinner with you." You stood in absolute silence for a moment, looking at each other before Illinois slowly walked towards you and leaned towards you. You closed your eyes in anticipation but your lips didn't touch. Instead, you were startled by loud impatient horns. "The limo is waiting," you said, heart racing, and grabbed your coat. "Yeah, we should go now," he agreed, running his fingers through his hair.
In the end, the auction was canceled because two idiots broke in and took a large part of the collection. Instead, you spent the night in the parking lot behind a McDonald's watching the stars while sharing a helping of chicken nuggets.
2
You had asked Illinois for a single day at the beach several times in the past. Just to relax. Well, your wish has finally been granted after a long time, but unfortunately not in the way you would like. Yes, you just found yourself on a beach at sunset, but instead of sipping colorful cocktails and enjoying the view, you were stuck on a deserted island in the middle of nowhere with a treasure map that made no sense.
"I give up! The map is useless!" you called to your boss who had climbed up one of the palm trees hoping to get a better view of the island. You, on the other hand, had the map in your hand and tried to make sense of the scribble. "I'm afraid I have to agree with you there," Illinois admitted while clambering down the palm tree. "I'm not even sure if we're on the right island anymore." You sit down on the sand and bury your face in your hands. The adventurer sat next to you and fanned the cool air with his hat. "At least we can enjoy the sunset." With a sigh, you looked up and you had to admit that the sunset here was particularly beautiful. At least there was a nice moment you could share with Illinois. "We should take a vacation and just go somewhere that isn't dangerous," you murmur as you rest your head on his shoulder. Illinois said nothing and just silently took your hand and gently squeezed it.
You just sat there and watched the sunset without saying a word. You couldn't remember who turned around first, but suddenly you were looking at each other and your faces got closer and closer. Your lips were only a few millimeters from touching. You were just a head movement away from what you both longed for. At the same time, a cannonball hit the water just meters in front of you, drenching you both in seawater. You looked up in surprise and saw a ship on the horizon.
"Please tell me that's not who I think it is," you moaned in annoyance and frustration. "Captain Magnum," Illinois confirmed. "Maybe we should flee inland before he actually hits us." As if on cue, you saw another cannonball being fired and you ran into the dense jungle hoping to escape the pirate.
3
You ran through the dark maze-like corridors. You've been running for quite a while and you're not exactly sure where you are right now. Everything looks the same and the fear that you've been going in circles the whole time overcomes you. The worst thing about the whole thing, however, was the fact that you didn't even know who you were running from or where exactly you were going. The day started out so harmless.
It was a beautiful summer day and you and Illinois were “on vacation” so to speak. Maybe vacation wasn't the right word. It was much more of a break between adventures because your plane broke down and your flight was delayed by two days. You were in no hurry and instead chose to take this as a sign that you really needed some time off. This included sitting in cute little cafes, drinking coffee and talking about possible new goals. Buy new work boots. Arguing with Illi about why you don't need a 200 euro jacket. In the end you decided to visit an art exhibition.
The exhibition included several different pieces by well-known local artists. You didn't know any of them, but that didn't stop you from marveling at the countless works. Illinois seemed to feel the same way because he would stand in front of a work for a long time complementing both the composition and the technique and all you could do was listen in silence and marvel at how much this man knew about art.
Then it happened. Illinois was laughing. Everything was good. Everything was wonderful. Then he noticed something in the distance. His laughter stopped. His smile vanished. He looked like he had seen a demon. Then everything happened quickly. He grabbed your wrist and pulled you towards the exit, but something forced him to change direction and you ran deeper into the gallery. You couldn't see who or what was doing this to Illinois, but you were sure of one thing. You've never seen him so scared. Eventually he drags you through a door with a staircase leading down. Once you got to the bottom you saw two hallways and Illinois turned to you with a worried look.
"Listen to me. We have to split up! He's most likely after me and I doubt he'll hurt you as long as you stay away from me!" "But-" you tried to protest, but he placed a finger on your lips, silencing you. "No buts! For once, I want you to listen to me and do what I tell you. This is solely for your good.” He removed his finger and instead took your face in his hands. “We will find each other again. I promise it." You wanted to protest again, but the look in his eyes tells you that he won't accept any complaints. You took a deep breath and nodded. "Okay. I trust you." He gave you one final affirmative smile before you walked in different directions.
And so you found yourself in the endless dark labyrinth that sucked every hope out of you with every passing second. Your legs hurt from running and you were exhausted, but you couldn't afford a break. Not unless you knew where the adventurer was. Every step you took felt like you were pulling a heavy load behind you, and a tightness that settled in your chest heralded the onset of a panic attack. It was difficult for you to see in the dimly lit hallways and you felt like it was getting darker with every step. How much time has passed since you broke up?
You turned a corner and instead of finding another endless corridor ahead of you, you ran into what you initially thought was a wall. Only the wall was warm, muscular and difficult to breathe. Two strong hands rested on your shoulders, providing the necessary support that kept you from collapsing like a cheap folding chair on a hot summer afternoon. "Thank God! You're fine!" did you hear the living Adonis statue say You were too exhausted to say anything. Instead, the hands moved away from your shoulders and you were pulled into a tight hug. "I know I have some explaining to do, and I'll do it once we get out of here," Illinois still held you tight, afraid someone would pull you away from him. “I promise you that we will then be a month – no, two months! oh you know what Let's take the rest of the year off and just relax!" The support that the adventurer gave you finally let you relax and catch your breath. Over time, your mind became clearer and the hallway you are in became brighter. You take a deep breath. The familiar smell of leather and linen gave you another piece of security. Your limbs were heavy as lead, but you somehow managed to raise your arm and squeeze Illinois' biceps, after which he released you.
You didn't realize your vision was blurry until you tried to look the adventurer in the face. You feel his warm hands on your cheeks and a light pressure on your forehead. You blink a few times and as your vision cleared you noticed his forehead was pressed against yours. His eyes were closed, his sun-tanned skin was glistening with sweat, and you could smell the faint whiff of coffee on his breath. "I promise nothing will happen to you," he whispered more to himself than to you. “You survived until now. You survived longer than anyone else." He opened his eyes. "You mean too much to me to let him take you away." You stared into each other's eyes for a long time. The corridor was long forgotten. All your senses were taken over by him. The warmth radiating from him. The smell of him clouding your mind like a potent drug. His breath on your face. His eyes that looked straight into your soul. It was like a spell that you couldn't break.
Slowly he closed his eyes again and tilted his head. His lips were only a few millimeters from yours. You inhale his breath and close your eyes. This was the moment. But before you could lean forward and fully surrender to the spell, a door next to you was violently thrown open. You both jumped aside in shock and panic. Was the door here all along? "There you are!" exclaimed Wilford. You both looked at him in horror, but neither of you was able to say or do anything. “You two are extremely late for your interview! Well, come on in!" Wilford grabbed you both by the wrist and yanked you through the door.
You didn't talk about what happened in the corridor. Neither of you could.
+1
It's mid-August. The sky was painted yellow and pink from the setting sun. Illinois kept his promise. Since the Gallery incident, you've stayed away from adventures and settled in a small town. He gave you you room to breath by giving you a small house on the outskirts of town. Under normal circumstances you would insist on getting an apartment, but since the incident you just needed some alone time. Time to think. Time to understand your own feelings. His house wasn't far. A few minutes walk. He gave you a key. You were welcome at any time. And yet you haven't seen each other in two months.
Those two months were the first time you could really think. Overthink. Losing yourself in your own mind. You realized three things: 1. The carpet in your living room was exceptionally soft and perfect for staring at the ceiling for hours. 2. You miss the smell of leather and canvas. 3. Illinois' entire existence was like a siren song and you struggled every day to resist it.
You only now realized that you had been under his spell since the first time you met and every time you tried to leave, you somehow found a way back to him. You had lost your heart and it was now part of his collection. The only thing that stopped him from possessing both your body and your soul was a single kiss.
One kiss and there will be no turning back.
A kiss to seal the deal.
A kiss to become his holy grail.
Every time you opened your front door and looked out, you could see his house. So far and yet so close. There was nothing standing in your way except your own pride and sanity. But today you were weak.
You didn't bother putting on shoes. You looked up at the sky and noticed that the colorful play of colors from before was replaced by dark rain clouds. You felt the first drops on your face and closed your eyes. It didn't take long for the light drizzle to turn into a storm. The rain soaked your clothes and your hair was wet and stuck to your face. This was the perfect weather.
Your legs moved of their own accord, carrying you down the street until you stood in front of his house. Lightning and thunder joined the rain and the wind became more ruthless. But you didn't care. Three steps and you were standing at his door. You take three deep breaths. You knock on the door three times.
You heard the footsteps behind the door. Your heart was racing and you felt the adrenaline rushing through your veins. You heard the door unlock and you held your breath. The door swung open and you took the first step. Illinois didn't have time to react as your arms wrapped around his neck and cold lips pressed against his. He stumbled backwards until his back was pressed against a wall. Only when he realized it was you kissing him did he allow himself to close his eyes and return the kiss. Only when he wrapped his arms around you and felt how wet your clothes were did he force himself to break the kiss. He grabbed your shoulders and pushed you away. You were surprised at his sudden abruptness, but the sight that greeted you made every bit of anger in you fade away. His otherwise perfect hair hung over his face, his cheeks red, his lips swollen and his eyes dark. You wanted to lunge at him once more and steal another kiss, but his grip was iron, keeping you at arm's length.
“What happened?” he asked, struggling to keep you at a safe distance. “Why are you wet?” “I couldn’t take it anymore,” you replied while breathing heavily. "I need to see you, feel you, you..." “And that’s why you walked through the rain?” He looked you up and down again. “And that barefoot?!” You rolled your eyes. “How dare I walk barefoot in the rain! This is worse than the time I had to jump off a cliff into the sea! Or the time I had to fight a mutant killer bunny!” Now it was Illinois who rolled his eyes.
You felt his grip on your shoulders loosen and you took the opportunity to approach him again. He didn't do anything to stop you and so you wrapped your arms around him again and hid your face in his neck. Strong arms wrapped around your wet form, pushing you closer to him. “I want to be more than your partner,” you whisper into his skin. In response, he kissed you on the temple. “Were you thinking about a spring wedding or would you prefer fall?” You gave him a light kick to the leg. “Not so fast, my dear! We haven’t seen each other for two months and we have to make up for that time first.” “Whatever you want, treasure!”

Sonic Prime AU
What if Sonic died?
Part one
Tails point of view
Sonic's body is gray. The smile he gave wasn't a smile at all. The last words he spoke: “I'm sorry.” Him disappearing. That scene keeps playing in my head. I can't stop thinking about it. I mean who could? There are so many unanswered questions that are in my head. He was fine the entire day so what changed at that very second? Why did we all of a sudden feel weak? What did he mean when he said: “We were too late?” Why did he disappear? Why was Shadow there? Will we be able to bring him back? Will I be able to bring him back?
Rouge and I are currently flying over Green Hills. She had us check a few places earlier but we had no luck. We tried the beach, where Sonic normally runs into him. No luck there. We tried his house, office, the place where he trains, even the little town that was there. We found nothing.
Tails: “Argh where can he be? It's one hedgehog! He shouldn't be that difficult to find!”
Rouge: “This is Shadow, we are looking for Tails. If he doesn't want to be found he'll make sure he isn't found”
Tails: “I guess you are right. Are you sure there are no more places we can look?”
Rouge: “All the places I showed you are the places I can normally find him. Other than those, I got nothing”
By that time it was getting dark. Rouge said we should call it a night and see what information Knuckles and Amy had.
Tails: “Are you kidding? We can't stop looking! We need to know what happened! Sonic might have disappeared but maybe he is a ghost and has a certain time limit as to when we bring him back. I don't know but we can't stop now. We need to find Shadow and that Prism”
Rouge: “Tails we aren't going to get anywhere if it's dark outside. Shadow is a dark hedgehog. He practically blends in with the dark. We won't be able to spot him.”
Tails: “We need to try we can't just give up”
Rouge: “We aren't giving up, we just…it's been a long and hard day. I know we won't get any sleep but we need to rest. We can pick this up tomorrow.”
I ignored her and looked at the ground. I am pretty tired but I don't want to go home. I can't go home.
Tails: “I don't want to be home right now. If I go home…I'll be coming home to an empty house. He won't be there. If I go to my lab it will just remind me about the last conversation we had. I just…”
I stopped there. I guess I made Rouge feel guilty because the next thing I know she is right next to me with her hand on my soldier.
Rouge: “We can stay out a little longer. We can fly over the island and see if we can spot Shadow's yellow streak. Maybe luck will be on our side this time.”
That was 30 minutes ago. It's now dark and my flashlight is barely lighting anything. Rouge is next to me.
Rouge: “Let give our wings and tails a break”
We land and I try lighting my surroundings with my flashlight. It looks like we are at Hedgehogs pass.
Rouge: “Ok Tails I understand that you want to find him but now it is way too dark to see anything. Not even your flashlight is bright enough to- Tails?”
I walk away from Rouge and towards something glowing on the ground. I lean down and pick it up.
Rouge: “Tails? What is it?”
I turn around and hold up one of Sonic's blue quills.
Rouge: “How is that possible? Sonic was with us the entire day”
Tails: “Before we went to the mountain he left to go ring up. But why here? Everyone knows the best place to…ring…up…”
I stop talking as I look behind Rouge. I shine my flashlight on a bunch of broken rocks. There are a bunch of rings scattered.
Rouge: “What happened here?”
I shine my flashlight on the ground. On the grass there are two sets of tracks. They can only belong to Sonic and…
Rouge: “SHADOW!”
I turn behind me and a yellow streak comes hitting me and knocking me on the ground. I fall down the blue quill falling from my hands. I try getting up but I feel weak. I see a blurred vision of Rouge and Shadow fighting. I blind once and all of a sudden I see Rouge on the floor knocked out.
Tails (weakly): “R-r-rouge?”
Shadow: “No just me.”
Shadow walks towards me and all of a sudden I'm awake. I get my shooting device from my pocket and activate it immediately. It starts shooting at Shadow and he dodges them.
Tails: “Why are you doing this Shadow? What are you waaaah!”
I wasn't paying attention when Shadow spin dashed me. I fall on the ground. Hard. I try getting up but everything around me is dizzy.
Shadow: “I'm not going to hurt you but I do need your help.”
Tails: “Why…. can't you…just ask…like a normal….”
I fall to the ground. Then everything goes black.

Note: Thank you for the love on my last post! I’m not sure if this one is as good since I’m not that good at writing bachelorette headcanons. I’m working on it though! I opened requests in case anyone wants to send anything.
When the Bachelorettes realize they have a crush on you:
Maru
- She’s the type of person who loves working on and sharing her projects with other people.
- So when you started showing interest in her inventions? She‘a not complaining, but she’d be lying if she said she expected the new town farmer to be interested in mechanics.
- Still, she was exhilarated to show off her smarts and skills to you.
- You were always super friendly and really nice, at least with her. And she appreciated that.
- It would get to the point where she would randomly spot you by the community center or up by the mountains and ask to get your opinion on something she’s working on.
- She starts to really care about your opinions and critics, mostly because you find a way to be gentle about it but still be able to tell the truth.
- She’d start making little trinkets and gadgets to try and help you out on the farm afterwards.
- It was a way to show you she cares!
- …Maybe in more ways than one.
Leah
- You occasionally see Leah painting or admiring the view on the beach, the forest, or the lake.
- She loves the outdoors, just being outside and being in the moment while the breeze hits her face is what makes life worth it for her.
- She was always a friendly person, but once you started showing interest in her art she began talking to you some more.
- I’d like to think one day, you’d introduce her to the secret forest past the wizard’s house.
- After she watched you take on the slimes, she’d look around the forest in awe.
- “This… this is breath taking…” She’d say. “Do you come here often?”
- Ever since then, you two would plan to go to the forest together every week or so.
- Sometimes she’d bring some paper and paint with her so she could try to capture the natural beauty.
- But whenever she’d try to, she wouldn’t be able to paint it without picturing you with her, admiring her work and talking to her about your life before moving, and how much better it has gotten.
- You were all she could think about.
- She wouldn’t be able to get you out of her head for a while after that.
Penny
- So, Penny was always pretty shy around you.
- A new farmer, going out of their way to talk to her and get to know her?
- She was very overwhelmed.
- Slowly but surely, she would start talking to you, and she would begin to feel more comfortable around you.
- When you ended up talking to her about Jas and Vincent’s favorite gifts, you started to catch her attention.
- “Vincent’s favorite thing is snails right? I’m not sure if Jodi would approve, but I got a bunch that he could pet or play with if he likes that.”
- “Hey, can I come by later today to give Jas some cake? I remember Marnie mentioning she really liked cake, and I wanted to try to bake one for her.”
- The way the farmer would talk so fondly and kindly about the kids made her realize she really wanted to get to know you better.
- And when you began talking about how important education is?
- And especially when you’d listen to her venting about Pam’s drinking without any judgment?
- Yeah, she’s definitely going to go out of her way to see you a little bit more now.
Abigail
- Abigail’s hobbies are a little different compared to the other bachelorettes’ personalities. She’s not like other girls.
- She loves anything that has to do with adventure, and if she’s being completely honest, she was disappointed when someone moved into that old abandoned farmhouse.
- Not like she held it against you though. It was just one less place to explore for her.
- However, she notices a lot of things. And the new farmer carrying around a nice looking sword caught her eye.
- Ever since she approached you about it, you two have been talking nonstop about your adventures in the mines.
- It wasn’t until she went down with you when she realized just how brave you were, putting your life on the line to protect her and to let her see and fight the monsters lurking down below.
- Brave, awesome, amazing.
- And you were into video games on top of that?
- She was done for.
Emily
- Magical gem girly.
- If she were to fall for the new farmer, she would need the new farmer to be just as into crystals, auras, etc.
- You two would be able to talk about tarot cards and magical crystal abilities day in and day out.
- It’d definitely be a nice refreshing change to cleaning up for Haley, walking around the town, and working at the saloon.
-I’d like to think one day she invited you over to her house to read your palms at night.
- and unexpectedly, she’d get a little distracted by how soft her strong your hands were from working on the farm.
- Something about holding your hand in hers felt right.
- “So what’s my life line Em?” You’d say, interrupting her day dream.
- “…Hm? Oh, yeah. Let me see…”
- Her face was definitely red for the rest of the night.
Haley
- Haley never liked you at first.
- I mean, it wasn’t like she hated you, exactly. You were just another person moving to this boring old town without any malls to go to or friends to hang out with.
- She only really started to talk to you after you open a jar for her.
- I’m sorry, I just think she’s a bit superficial at first.
- Who was she to ignore a strong guy/gal?
- But after finding her great grandma’s bracelet in the beach and cheering her up a bit, she starts to open her mind a bit more.
- She hasn’t had the worst life, in fact she’s had a pretty great one. So she wasn’t the type to vent or look back in the past and have a lot of regrets.
- …But it still felt really nice to have someone there to listen when she felt a little sad…
- She may need to rethink some things after talking to you.

Window To The Soul
GhostxSoap
Just a drabble of how I think Soap would realize he's in love.
TW: None :) Just fluff!
---
Soap's Ma always told him that the eyes were the window to the soul, and since he was kid, Soap had watched and observed, gazing at other's eyes whenever he got the chance. He found that they could tell quite the story.
Often men in his field would have eyes, still lit with /something/, Price, his eyes were mellow, dark pine tones, but a harshness that would spring up in them whenever things got serious. Like the bright sun setting behind cold jagged mountains, leaving something frighteningly empty.
Gaz, was more like honey.
A neverending buzzing of bees, flitting about, occasionally interrupted by splashes of chocolate, and a golden glow, like sunflowers bordering an aok forest.
But Ghosts?
It was hard to tell due to his mask, usually. The lighting obscuring his gaze, but not the feeling that came along with it, like a dozen knives being simulatenously pierced into your flesh whenever it would flick to your figure. Soap was used to it, and in fact came to be comforted by the feeling.
It'd happened, only once, Soap got to peer through /his/ window.
They were sitting on a bench, outside, enjoying the fresh air. Soap doesn't even remember what they had been talking about, it'd been forgotten quite quickly. He'd glanced over, Ghosts attention being caught by something. And his head tilted just so, the late evening rays had touched his pupils.
Soap couldn't help but stare.
It was a cold, shivery blue. Dark, and swirling like ocean waves, repeatedly crashing upon a beach, with a current so strong it could pull you under.
And pull you under it did. Soap was transfixed, drowning in the sight before him.
The glass panes and shutters were cracked and broken, but still /there/. They stood strong, battling against the onslaught of waves.
Soap found himself wanting to see a stream spill off from that ocean, as if attempting to empty a bit of itself, despite it's vastness.
Ghost turned back again, and all of a sudden Soap could breath again, those icy blues freezing over the ocean currents once more, the water now stagnant.
He felt a shiver go down his spine.
"Ser..ant-"
The mask moved but Soap could barely hear a sound, a persistent ringing in his ears, as his eyes were a bit wide, just staring at his Lieutenant.
"S..p"
The man in front of him moved closer, brows furrowing and cutting off the bit of light that was left. Soap was staring at an empty room.
"Soa.."
The ringing grew louder, his breath hitched as his heart thudded. He'd never felt anything like this before. Was this what cardiac arrest was like? His body felt, not his, but a shell, something he was viewing. He couldn't move, couldn't speak, entirely transfixed on that window, as the glass rattled as it slammed shut.
"Johnny."
He blinked, one, two, maybe three times, before he regained control over himself.
"Ah."
"You alright there?"
"Aye. Daydreamin'.."
The other man only huffed in amusement, shutting his eyes for a second, and only now had Soap realized just how close the other was. His face only a foot and a half from his.
When those windows opened again, he saw it cracked open, just a tad, as if the curtains had been moved aside, /just for him/.

last two people on earth
words: 1,506 ship: austin butler x reader summary: (anon request): Could you write a little blurb with Austin and reader on the beach? Maybe on holiday or just a day off after a long time, whatever you want notes: while I tend to lean towards snow myself, this was fun :)  warnings: none tag list: @killerqueenfan, @karamelcoveredolicity, @elizabethrosecresswell, @gigisworldsstuff, @stylesmendeshearted
One of the best things you and Austin decided to do was rent a beach house for a month after the filming of Elvis. He still had multiple obligations of course, interviews, events, the busyness that comes after shooting a film. Considering all of that, it spoke to an even greater reason about why a small break was well deserved. You weren’t able to completely disappear, or anything, but the sensation of your toes curling into the sand that first morning when you woke up with the ocean spread out before you? An unmatched feeling.
You have to admit you’ve always been an East Coast girl—you enjoy escape that involve winter scenes. Your ideal kind of vacation consists of a chic cabin in the middle of the woods or mountains, lots of snow, curling up in an oversized sweater in front of the fire with a giant cup of coffee. Admittedly though, this isn’t terrible in comparison. The beach house sits right along the water, a handful of tall windows to spread out the view to you, even from inside. There’s a large deck with a heated pool and your favorite spot is this nook with a swing bench right outside the kitchen doorway where you can stick your feet in the sand and smell the water. It’s especially beautiful when the sun starts to go down, the sky kissed pink, the water a slight hue of purple, the breeze warm and incredibly inviting.
Dangerous, almost, to feel so comfortable within a place—you’re not going to want to leave and go back to reality.
The beautiful view wouldn’t be complete of course without Austin, who’s been wearing a variety of shorts since he got here and practically open button-down short-sleeve shirts. His hair is back to its natural shade, dirty blonde curls that sit wildly near his forehead, perfect to run your fingers through, which you often do. His skin is slightly sun kissed already, rosy along his cheekbones and shoulders, highlighting the freckles there that are definitely kissable.
A week in and you’re constructing wild ideas in your head about how you can extend your stay…even though you’ve got a decent amount of time left to enjoy. You have to admit it’s selfish, wanting to stay here, have Austin to yourself, not having to worry yourself with obligations, distance, the pressure of everything expected. You try to remember that’s part of the reason you’re able to do something like this with your boyfriend—the gift that both of your careers have given you. Not many other people are so lucky.
Smiling a little as you lay on your beach towel, watching Austin come out of the water and make his way towards you, you set a book down that you’re attempting to read but your attention is waning.
Lucky is definitely a good word to use.
“You gonna get in the water or am I gonna have to carry you?” Austin asks, running his hand through his hair to get it out of his face.
You smile a little, shaking your head, “Don’t you dare.”
A soft, amused eyeroll before he adjusts the towel next to you and sits down. Letting out a soft hum, you sit up as well and let your sheer cover up slip from your shoulders, moving to pull your hair up into a higher bun. You can’t quite keep your eyes off of Austin next to you, the way the sun shimmers against his wet skin, water droplets cascading down over muscle. He picks up another towel and dries his face, reaching for the sunglasses sticking out of your beach bag to put on,
“You’re starin’.” He teases.
You grin, not ashamed in the slightest, “I like what I see.”
There’s an amused eyeroll from him, you notice it even though he’s got shades on, shaking his head as he takes a look out at the water. The beach isn’t private, exactly, but this is a typical place for other celebrities to rent out beach houses with friends, family and significant others when they don’t want to be bothered. It’s got a feeling of being remote that you like, almost as if—
“Sometimes it kinda feels like we’re the last people on earth here.” You say, reaching for your bottle of water to take a sip. Maybe that sounds a bit ridiculous or corny—you’ve definitely seen a lot of movies that lean towards science fiction. But it almost seems like that, being here with him, sometimes uninterrupted for days at a time without seeing anyone else on the stretch of beach of the houses to rent around them.
“I feel like this is not where you’d want to go if that were the case,” Austin reaches into the beach bag to tug out a bottle of sunscreen. “You and your remote cabins surrounded by snow.”
You laugh, scrunching your nose at him, “Hey, don’t knock it.”
Austin licks his lips, leaning in to steal a kiss from you. “Wouldn’t dream of it.” Then pecks your lips a few more times, mostly to make you giggle.
When he pulls back, you think he’s going to offer to put sunscreen on you but then he kinda gets this look on his face in which you…know he’s suddenly up to no good.
“What are you—” You barely get the words out before Austin is standing and in one swoop he’s scooping you up into his arms, “Austin!” There’s some squirming as he moves quickly towards the ocean—both of you know that you wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.
A sharp laugh tumbles out of your throat as you hold onto your boyfriend tightly, nearly burying your facing in his shoulder as the cold water envelopes you both.
Definitely nowhere else you’d rather be.
--
Letting out a slightly dramatic sigh, you lean against the arm of the couch that’s placed on the deck near the pool. The sun is dipping low, the humidity winding down with the heat of the day, dissipating. It’s pleasant outside, perfect for a tall glass of mint iced tea and—
“Ow,” You frown, looking over your shoulder as Austin settles down behind you.
“I haven’t even touched you yet,” He smiles a little, amusement pulling at the corners of his mouth.
And apparently sunburn.
“Well it already hurts,” You pout and Austin shakes his head, leaning forward to press a kiss to your lips.
He rolls the aloe bottle between his hands to warm it up before squeezing some of it out onto his palms. Moving your hair to the side, he gently puts his hands on your back and begins to massage it in circles into your skin. A soft sigh leaves your lips and you close your eyes, wincing every so often as Austin’s thumbs brush over a sensitive spot.
“Told you that you needed more sunscreen.” Austin says but his voice is slightly teasing.
“Oh right—that was a big concern of yours as you were dragging me into the ocean.”
“I was applying sunscreen all day—you were pouting about it.” He smiles, working his hands down your arms, “I didn’t get burnt.”
Rolling your eyes, you slowly pull the straps of your tank top back up over your shoulders. Definitely hurts but…you suppose it could always be worse. Turning a little to look at your boyfriend, you stick your tongue out at him,
“It’s unsurprising that the universe just works out in your favor.”
Austin snorts, putting the cap back on the aloe and sets it aside, leaning against the other end of the couch. You do your best to get comfortable on the cushions without aggravating your skin, shifting until Austin has spread his legs out on the couch and you settle between them. You lie on your stomach, your back a lot worse than your front, and press your nose and lips into the soft fabric of his shirt near his collarbone.
He leans down and presses a kiss into your hair, his hands gentle as he rubs your back, an absent motion as he looks out into the ocean.
“Kinda crazy to think how much we’ll be swept back up the minute we leave here.”
You hum lightly, understanding what he’s saying. Not that your lives aren’t chaotic in a good way given your work but…this peaceful relaxation is easy to get used to and it’s going to be effortless to miss.
“We can always come back, right?” You ask and it sounds more like a promise—that when things start to get too hectic, when they feel themselves slipping away into that very same chaos…they’ll figure out how to make time for this. For eachother.
Austin smiles a little and nods, leaning down to brush your noses together in a bunny kiss. “Last two people on earth.” He coins, curling your hair behind your ear.
You smirk, pushing yourself up a little to capture his lips in a kiss.
Not a quite terrible thought.

i’m so sorry lovebug 😭❤️ ik the feeelinggg, dw I got you ! ( i need this rn too but w jax lmao)
[ imagines ! ] zooble x reader x gangle
THEME; comfort
Weeeeell, it was that time again. That time when aunty flow feels the need to drop by. Even in the digital world, you still had to suffer.
Ughhh.
You’re curled up in a ball on the bed in your room. Caine was nice enough to give you a heating pad upon request, though he seemed confused about it when you tried to explain your cramping and aching pains. Nonetheless, you got the damn heating pad.
So now, you’re laying lifeless in a bunch on the bed. It didn’t take long for a knock on the door to break you out of your painful state, looking over your shoulder to see Zooble and Gangle standing there just . . staring.
You had a mountain of blankets and pillows thrown around you, burying yourself into the softness of it all. It was the only thing comforting you right now- - you had to take what you could get.
“Oh god. She’s starting to look like kinger.” Zooble makes a comment under their breath, and you glare.
“I’m dyiingggg.” You mumble out at them as they take a step inside your room.
“Come on, y/n. We wanted to get you out for the day . .” Gangle frowns up at you.
“Yeah. To be honest, I don’t like how shut out you’ve been.” Zooble crosses their arms.
“I swear, I’m not going insane.” You protest, sitting up to get a better view of your two friends. “I’m literally, in so much pain right now. I don’t wanna do shit.” Your voice whines out.
Zooble and Gangle exchange glances, and quickly walk towards you with outstretched arms. They grab you, and gently, tug the blankets away from your figure. “Yeaaah. Too bad. You need some digital sun.” Zooble argued.
You sigh, nodding your head as it hangs over your lap. Your body sits at the edge of the bed, soon looking up at them. “Fine.”
“We can go to the lake,” gangle suggests, her comedy mask now taking over her features. There was a crack in the middle of it, glued back together. You inwardly smile at her.
“It’ll be warm.” She adds on.
You nod, smiling, and stand up. “That actually does sound kinda nice.”
So, it was settled then!
You all grab some things to take along for your little gals day out, and head out. The sunshine was warm, and the salty air from the lake was refreshing. It was a nice change of scenery, which was definitely needed.
“Feel any better?” Gangle asks you, glancing over to your little set up on the sand. You sat there in comfy shorts, on a large beach towel. The sand felt nice under your toes, and the sun was the right amount of warmth to heat up your digital skin. It felt super relaxing!
“Yeah, definitely.” You smile over at her.
Zooble towers over you and reaches something from a beach bag. You look over to Zooble, curiously.
Taking it out, she tosses it down to your sitting figure. You squint up at her before glancing down to what you caught in your hands. Your smile pulls wider, and you look back up to Zooble, then glance to gangle. “You guys are the best.”
You tear back the corner of the chocolate bar, and lean back on your hand, smiling out at the water. Thank god you had these two to keep you sane.

Chapter 2
| First | | Next |
words: 1,920
Nathalie tried to escape from the thoughts that stung her brain like thorns on a vine wrapping ever more tightly around it by picturing something, anything, that would be calming.
She tried to imagine herself alone, taking a vacation somewhere in a fancy room with a view of… mountains, she decided. Tall mountains with peaks covered in snow. She could open the wide windows and enjoy the cold air against her cheeks. She pictured snowy slopes where people could ski. Nathalie always liked gearing up and feeling ready to face the elements and whatever nature would throw at her.
“You’re crazy,” she heard a voice say. “I prefer the beach; you need nothing more than a hat and a fresh drink. Now, that is true freedom.”
Nathalie turned away from the glass to see Emilie standing next to her. She was bundled up in blankets and sweaters and held a map in her hands. She looked up at her with those trusting green eyes, confident that Nathalie could solve any problem in the entire world if she wanted, now that she was helping Emilie start a family.
She was wrong, though. Nathalie couldn’t fix anything. All she ever did was take whatever idea existed already and make it happen faster. If only she could have good ideas of her own, instead of spending over fifteen years of her life following Gabriel’s. She helped Emilie start a family and then catalyzed every step in the process to destroy it.
Nathalie shoved the whole picture away and refocused on the present, sitting up on her bed. Her face still felt cold. It was due to tear tracks on it coming into contact with the breeze from outside. Her forehead was tense, stuck in a frown she couldn’t get rid of. She felt exhausted but her entire body still hurt too much to even think of resting, let alone sleeping.
And then, a change.
In a moment all her muscles loosened. She wasn’t any more relaxed, though. It felt like when she had to wear one of Gabriel’s dresses to an event with strong, restrictive boning that held her upright with no effort on her part, but after hours of wearing it all she wanted was to break out of the structure and curl up in a ball.
Mentally the sensation wasn’t much different. Her emotions didn’t go away, but braced themselves. A sense of impending doom paralyzed her while urging her to get ready for… something. To defend or attack against some not-yet-known threat.
She knew this feeling. That goddamn asshole.
“Nathalie,” she heard from within her head.
Why did he sound surprised? Or maybe this was his attempt to appear compassionate. Yeah, right.
He only ever listened to her when she said what he wanted to hear. She had realized this a long time ago and adapted to it. But it was a mistake because now, the one time she thought she had the solution, he didn’t listen. He also never cared about how she felt, or about how his actions could ever harm her. And now here they were.
Few times in her life she had felt like this, like she would do anything just for a meteorite to fall into her bedroom and free her from existence. Maybe something less dramatic. Maybe she only wished the illness from the broken miraculous would just take her already. Sadly she couldn’t really want that since still had much to do. She didn’t know yet how but she couldn’t give up on Adrien, who needed her now more than ever. She was just… tired. Her body was stuck in the same position but she was now shaking. All she could intentionally move were her eyes but she couldn’t even see much through the wells of tears in them.
In truth, all she wanted was one night by herself to try to at least sleep some of the worst of it off. Yet this had to be the night Gabriel chose to take advantage of her pain. Mere hours after betraying both Emilie and Nathalie, after deciding to send Adrien away for a year and not realizing he had the wrong kid because his madness was more important to him than his own son.
She had been too worried about Adrien to do anything other than return home as quickly as possible, but she had imagined instead going to find Gabriel, grab him by the collar and shake some sense into him. Then rip the purple brooch off his chest and pulverize it beyond repair under her heel. But she had to keep it together. For Adrien.
However, what just happened proved that she wasn’t strong enough. How could she help another person when she couldn’t keep herself composed for one day? Adrien deserved better than that.
Usually she could pin her hopes of a better world on Gabriel. She certainly couldn’t expect it from herself. Today proved neither of them could be trusted. And now he decided to betray her one more time and use her suffering for… what for? What was taking him so long?
Nathalie had lost track of time but she was very aware that it passed by the fact that the burning on her skin was only increasing and not finding any release. The pent up anger enhanced by akumatization should be channeled through a magical power and directed by a mission assigned by the butterfly holder. She had neither of those. Only emotions boiling in a pressure cooker about to explode but refusing to.
With exhaustive effort she managed to say, “Gabriel, what the fuck are you doing?”
It didn’t come off as strong as she wanted, the volume wasn’t above a whisper and her voice cracked, but the impact was there, because she could hear him gasp on the other end.
Betterfly’s astonishment was only increased when he heard Nathalie call him by his real name. That was this world’s Nathalie, not his own, and neither of them had any reason to know who Betterfly was.
He should have called the kamiko back, but the kids were about to escape and he couldn’t let them. In an attempt to distract the heroes, Shadybug summoned an entire car and threw it in their direction. They managed to dodge it and the car went straight and crashed into the wall. The wall behind which Nathalie apparently was.
What was left standing of the wall and the ceiling above it began to shake. Betterfly looked up following dust that had fallen on his face to find cracks spread up and to the sides of the building terrifyingly quickly.
Behind him, Ladybug announced that the house would fall over them if they didn’t get out, and shouted to Cat Noir to follow her. The boy seemed hesitant, but Ladybug grabbed and pulled him before a concrete slab fell from the roof to the center of the room, where Cat Noir had been standing. Betterfly told them to run out and get to safety. Unlike him, they still had a clear path to the exit. His own was blocked now by more and more debris. Shadybug and Claw Noir were already gone.
He ran in the opposite direction, straight towards Nathalie. He stepped through the hole in the wall and spotted her on the bed, luckily still unharmed.
He was thrown off by the fact that she looked just like his own Nathalie did years ago when they first met, but her current demeanor was nothing he’d seen on her before. She was looking at the rubble with wide eyes, though they weren’t quite focused, as if she was frightened by something more than the crash itself. She sat on her bed with her knees drawn close to her chest. Her bun was messy, as if she had been pulling on her hair. She was also shaking. Probably due to shock, Betterfly thought, before he remembered the kamiko.
The floor quaked as the structure continued collapsing.
“Nathalie!” he cried, “get us out of here!” He didn’t manage to be more specific as he made his way towards her as fast as he could.
With that instruction, Nathalie was enveloped in a dark purple foam. It soon diffused into the air and left the woman in a suit that resembled that of a pilot, with metallic skin, robotic motions, and an emotionless expression.
Nathalie finally felt a sense of relief that started on her chest and flowed to her shoulders, along her arms, and up to the tips of her fingers, where the tension that was leaving gathered and manifested into a spark of electricity. The glow spread, barely tingling the outermost layer of the silver skin, across the surface of her palms, which she extended away from herself. The light sprung away from her hands to form a bright white disc in front of her.
She felt arms surround her and then she was being carried through the portal.
Betterfly retrieved the kamiko and the portal closed. The roar of the crumbling building was abruptly cut off, and all one could hear was Nathalie’s coughing as she fell to her knees. She seemed to be in a lot of pain, with her eyes scrunched closed and her mouth desperately gasping for air in between the coughs. Gabriel had never seen Nathalie like this. She had always appeared strong, confident… invulnerable.
He watched her warily from a meter away. He wanted to help but he had no idea how. Maybe a comforting touch on her shoulder, to at least remind her he was there, as she had done for him many times before. The execution of this idea was prevented, though, when Nathalie finally spoke.
“Why are you doing this to me, Gabriel?”
She was now sobbing.
And she had said his name again.
All he could reply with was a dumbfounded, “What?”
She turned to him forcefully and looked at him with red eyes obscured by dark circles under them. For a moment she seemed about to snap at him, but her glare faltered and she stumbled backwards, catching herself with one arm to not fall on her back.
Nathalie realized that this wasn’t Gabriel, nor Monarch. His voice sounded just like him, and he looked like him, but the man in front of her was still completely different.
Looking around her, she found herself still in her bedroom, but it was also different. The shape of the construction was the same, as was the color of the paint and the positioning of the bookshelves and the fireplace, but there wasn’t any of her other furniture.
The space looked more like a library or a study. Instead of a bed, there was a table with many books. All of the books were clearly more neatly organized than the ones she had on every available surface (Nathalie had her own system, something Gabriel’s cleaning staff never understood). There weren’t any of the antique items she collected through the years hunting for the miraculous, and there was only one framed picture over the fireplace of Gabriel, Emilie and Adrien taken in a photographic studio. They also looked… different.
“Light wings, fall.”
She turned back and standing there was the man in the picture.
Her breathing had been too shallow for too long. Her brain was probably not getting enough oxygen and now she was hallucinating. That was probably it. This theory was only proved for Nathalie a second later when everything went black.

Day 57: Yiga in Lanayru, and Akkala
The tower I climbed in the Abandoned Lanayru Mine is a forge, and it's manned by a Steward. I think this is the first one I've seen in the Depths, and only the second I've seen outside the sky islands.
Another Steward asks me to go to the Central Abandoned Mine - if I do that and come back here, it'll give me something.
There's a Yiga building here with a journal.
Tumblr media
They want to conquer the Depths, but they say they need to find every entrance to do so. The journal ends: "Glory to Master Kohga."
I hope that's just something they say. He fell into- oh. He fell into an apparently bottomless hole. Is he… is he here somewhere??
Surely not. But unease follows me as I gather the remains of zonaite in the mine.
I can't see any more lightroots from here, so I head back to the Ulri Mountain Skyview Tower, thinking to head to Tarrey Town - and spy Dinraal emerging from a chasm! I chase to catch up with him, but I don't have the right gear. I only just grab a shard of his spike and a claw before the heat of his mere proximity threatens my life.
I drop to the ground and land in the shadows of North Akkala Beach - right next to a shrine!
I spend the early morning scaling the cliff up to the Akkala Lab. Didn't Robbie say he needed something from here? I don't think I've spoken to him in over a month. Still, I should check it out. I've always loved the Lab.
Tumblr media
I scale the outside first to enjoy the view from the top, but it's a grey and cloudy day. And… that's weird. There's a frog sitting in Robbie's sun lounger. And… it bears the mark of the yiga. I've got a bad feeling about this.
Tumblr media
I look for further clues as I head back down the lab. There's boxes of bananas at the base of the telescope. And from the front, it's obvious - frogs and banana crates everywhere.
I summon the Sages, ready my gear, and knock.
It's a closer match than I'd like, but I dispatch the Yiga guards. Inside, there's only a fashionista - Konba. It sounds as though he's been forced to work against his will to make the Yiga's outfits. He gives me the Yiga armor he just finished. I suppose I could use it as a disguise, though I dislike the idea of wearing it at all. Konba points out I'd need the whole set before I could pass as a Yiga member anyway.
There's a Yiga journal here. They're interested in sourcing Zonai devices, as well as Zelda and myself. Even they haven't seen her. They say they're setting up traps to catch me, but I've only encountered the weird cucco prophecy scam, and that hardly seemed aimed at me. Don't pick up bananas on the road? I'd have hoped I would have spotted that one for a trap without the hint.
There's a map with Yiga hideouts on it, I think. Let's see…
Tumblr media
Here, the Colosseum, somewhere north of Death Mountain and the old hideout in the Gerudo Highlands.
There's also a travel medallion prototype, which I should probably give to Robbie. Was that what he wanted from here?
For now, I head down the hill to the East Akkala Stable, and stop at the shrine on the way.
Penn's the first person I see at the stable. He mentions the god of horses is near here - I'd forgotten my dream about it! - and the suspicious lab, the mystery of which I think I've probably solved by clearing out the Yiga. But no news here of the Princess, so he's off! That was quick.
I speak to a few people at the stable. Aya is preoccupied with the monsters on North Akkala beach- I must have missed them, but she'd like me to deal with them, please. Rudi says Malanya's at Bloodleaf Lake, north of here. Rudi would like a picture of Octorok Lake when the water's high and it looks like an octorok. Maybe in the rain? Atin's newspaper says that YunoboCo is restoring Goron City again - that's good. Khini points me towards the horse god, and then goes back to selling buns. I buy and eat one of his Malanya buns, and I feel filled with stamina.
The korok at the back of the stable wants to go down the hill to meet its friend. I summon Peaches and hook up the wagon for transport. I can probably do this before bed.
I ignore the blood moon rising behind me as we gallop down the hill. Which means it comes upon me right as I'm fighting off two bokoblins in a cart.
When the Gloom clears, I reunite the koroks and take the knight's bow the bokoblins had. Then I take both the horses and carts back to the stables to bed.
