finally presenting one of the babies: Azure! :D

She's 7 and a very energetic kid

She was born albino with blue eyes and a single yellow lock (from her mother) that nows change with her emotions

Definitely a daddy's little princess, her start with Azul was rough tho, she definitely lashed at him during the first days or week because she saw how the witches killed her mother and having to move with someone you just met that says is your father wasn't easy, it took time but she became VERY attached to Azul and is scare of him leaving her alone so she clings to him, play or paints with him (daddy's little artist)

The first time she used her demon form was the night she lost her mother, her uncontrolled powers and emotions ended in her killing a good amount of them before Solomon came, tho she doesn't know she killed them because she was under some kind of trance thanks to the hate emotion (black), Solomon does know, and he told Azul what happened

She changes color the same way as Azul with some differences, for example the lock on her head, she also has tattoos or more exactly, marks that started to appear when she was 5 as some sort of "burn marks" later discovered to be her tattoos, it hasn't stopped appearing yet so new marks are discovered everyday, her clothes are sorta translucent so it shines when she changes color

Sometimes emotions are hard to process so she enters in a "numb mode" Wich is an side effect from her mother's controlled demeanor, so she can go from not being able to control her emotions to not being able to feel them at all, this happen mostly late at night when she suffers from nightmares and she stays still looking at nothing, something very different from her energetic normal form, she unconsciously seek for her father in this form because she doesn't know what else to do, tho she seems like a ghost walking like that

thanks to Azul's and Domnra's close friendship her best friend is definitely Nikolai, and since he's the shy one she takes the role of protective friend, it's normal for them to run and play around so their fathers found them more than once asleep on top of eachother with Mobim in there too

Overall a very sweet and energetic ghost butterfly demon child.

Hardenshipping Fankid OC! Runs off the Ruby/Omega Ruby canon where Archie really just assists you in stopping Magma. There is no Team Aqua revived Kyogre. For all intents and purposes, it very well could still be in its slumber.

Canon Timeline is further back than the original Ruby game! It's a canon game for Chrissy, but it came out a few years after the real incidents. Sapphire/Alpha Sapphire doesn't exist. Emerald is too vague to me to really say if it exists. So that's schrodinger's game atm.

I love RyuTeru since I was a child (11 years old) I'm glad to find another artist who likes it, Could you give me your Headcanons? I'd like to see what you think about them.

Pardon my language but holy fuck I thought I'd never find anyone else that likes it as much as me 😭. had to do a double take when I read the ask I legit thought I was hallucinating - anyway! I rmbr having posted some hcs about them before but I'm too lazy to dig it up so I'll dump it here

(bonus tobio and tetsuya crumbs i like to think the 4 of them as a happy friend group):

They are both early birds, but sometimes they sleep in on weekends. 

Teru drinks coffee and Ryutaro drinks tea. Ryutaro dislikes the strong, bitter taste of coffee even when there's a shitload of creamer in it (once Ryutaro made Tobio drink tea and he added soda in it).

Teru enjoys spoiling his loved ones.. Ryutaro often tells him to not spoil him too much. I like to think when they form a family in the future Teru is the parent that drags the entire (reluctant)  family out for shopping.

Whenever Teru falls sick, Ryutaro would use aromatherapy to ail his symptoms such as fragrant incense and essential oils.

Whenever Ryutaro falls sick Teru makes him soup. Granted it's canned soup but it's the thought that counts (i hc teru being an awful cook more lr8)

Teru is absolutely the one that gives really cheesy nicknames and it makes Ryutaro cringe to high heaven. But he tolerates it because he likes seeing Teru smile :) 

Teru is extremely soft (literally). He takes damn good care of himself I just know his hair is soft. Bedtime cuddles are also soft. I can imagine his sleeping robes are super comfy.. Ryutaro has to compete with everyone else for hugs :(

Teru has a sweet tooth and enjoys cafe hopping. Fluffy pancakes with LOTS of maple syrup, ice cream waffles, sundaes etc. The things he orders are enough to give Ryutaro a heart attack, so he just sticks to drinks. Give him a break, his entire diet is just rice and grilled fish. 

Among the dss trio I'd feel like Ryutaro is the least petty but he can be extremely petty when it comes down to it. Whenever he's mad at Tobio and Tetsuya he'd let Teru be in charge of dinner. No one has the heart to say no when they see Teru's eyes light up in joy as he brainstorms recipes to try out.

Both of them are really good at makeup and self care. They do each other's makeup and hair. They also spend an ungodly amount of time in the bathroom. You want to hang out with these two? Waiting time is 2 hours.

Teru is the one to initiate dates and plans them. Their first couple of dates are the usual restaurant/mall/movie dates. But when Teru learns of Ryutaro's dislike of crowds they move their dates to more outdoorsy locations, like parks.  

Ryutaro can be dense. He doesn't pick up on flirting or pick up lines. I feel like the same goes with jokes they fly by over his head and you need to explain the joke to him, which instantly makes it unfunny and awkward.

Tobio and Tetsuya are the perpetual unfortunate third wheelers. They get it, they're single. Can Ryuteru stop holding hands and looking at each other?? They didn't sign up for this.

I can imagine Ryuteru travelling together after battle bladers for a while before bumping into Tobio and Tetsuya randomly. Tobio thinks they're just besties,, until he sees them holding hands and his brain explodes. Mostly from the fact that he can't believe this fortune telling weirdo got on with someone. Someone so pretty in fact??

Tetsuya is usually in his world most of the time and at first he doesn't realise he's third wheeling. But after he catches on he'd be sick of their bs after a while.

Teru would be super sweet to the two,, he'd be very patient with tetsuya and listen to him rambling about his crab friends.. The crabs like Teru as well :) 

I am so deep into delulu that I gave them a fankid. he doesn't have a name actually I just call him blue baby because he's just a mini ryutaro. absolutely nothing goes on in that pea sized brain but his parents still love him anyway <3 if you want I can make a separate post about adult ryuteru and their spawn because this one is rly long alr.

So this is Bella. No clue where I got her name from, I just know I stole it from a fic on ff.net several years ago. (About five years or so ago I tried to change her name, but nothing else I found fit, so if anyone can help me find the fic so I can give proper credit, that would be lovely, since I’ve tried and I can’t)

I actually have two versions of her: the one that I consider “canon compliant” and the one I’m saving for a different project. I can’t talk about it too much, but I’ll gladly show both versions!

Left side is canon compliant. Crown princess of the Mushroom Kingdom, and a real sweetheart. No powers as of yet, but she has a real knack for diplomacy, just like her mama! She’s also quite the adventurer herself—not quite on the same level of her papa, but she definitely longs to see the world. Highly organized and efficient, she meticulously documents all her findings on all her travels so that she can use them to help her mom and her kingdom.

Right side, however, is the chaosmonger. Voted “most likely to sneak out of the castle and fight crime”. Regrettably, she has powers, so she hasn’t even learned yet not to do stupid stuff like that. She’s naturally blonde, and isn’t allowed real hair dye until she’s responsible enough to not damage her hair, but that hasn’t stopped her from experimenting with koolaid dye and color depositing conditioner. Will wander off if you leave her alone for two seconds.

Both have a massive sweet tooth, a love for nature, and a deep love for their family. At their cores, they’re both the kindest people you’ll ever meet and genuinely want to help people—they just go about it in two wildly different ways.

I haven’t worked out either of them too much yet so I hope that works for now!

Another snippet of fankid content bc I’m hyperfixated on it again

Wren bellyflops onto the couch. Jamie collapsed on it after. Owen lays on top of the couch. Lastly, Sylvie sits down on the couch gently.

“Augh. Today was ass.” Wren says. “Agreed.” Owen and Jamie say in unison. Sylvie just nods.

“But why?” Owen asks.

“Had to dogsit. This one mastiff jumped on me today and knocked me into the creek. Almost broke my leg. That and I also got a C in English because of a missing essay. I left it upstairs in my house so… yeah..” Wren explained, examining their right leg. “What about you?”

“Y’know how I have the new neighbors, right? The Raymond twins?” He asked.

“Oh how could we forget. You talk about them constantly.” Jamie smirked.

“Shut up.” His face flushed. “Anyway. I passed them and tried to say hi, then I tripped on my goddamn shoelace and rolled down the stairs.”

Sylvie winces. Jamie says, “Damn. Rule 5 of being attractive. Make sure your shoes are tied.”

“..and what do you know about that?” Owen laughs. “You’ve like the same person for god knows how long and you STILL don’t have the balls to ask her out.”

Jamie shrugs. Wren is holding in a laugh. Sylvie is confused.

“All I can offer up today is how tired I am.” He says.

“I was left behind by you guys when we were walking here!” Sylvie groaned.

“Sorry…” Wren and Owen say. Jamie sits up. “I’m not.” He laughs. “It’s because we were walking to your house, stupid.” Wren countered. “Yeah.” Owen agreed.

“Well, you guys still left Sylvie behind. I’d never.” Jamie rolled his eyes. Sylvie glared at him, as if to disagree. “Yeah because your a lover boy”Wren started but Jamie slapped his hand over their mouth. Not that it stopped anything. What was said was said. Realization falls over Sylvie’s face.

A silence fell among the group.

“Are you serious..?” Sylvie asked, breaking the quiet pause. She sounded cautious at first, then repeated what she said with a harsher tone.

“ARE YOU SERIOUS?” She was practically yelling. When it came to Sylvie, she never actually raised her volume above the average speaking level, but the tone and expression were amplified.

“…Why are you upset?-“ Jamie consulted, looking confused.

“You decide to be our closest friend for years, drift off in middle school, and completely abandon us in high school. Then you start hanging out with us again and say you like me..? Just like that? Acting like nothing happened?!”

“This isn’t anything new! I’ve liked you since we met!-“

“WHY?- YOU LEFT US. YOU LEFT ME. SO WHAT IF YOU LIKED ME. I WAS IN LOVE WITH YOU.” She was literally yelling this time.

“Oh yeah totally and then you all fucking replaced me-“

“…” She looked away from him.

“..I regret it all, okay? I’ve spent the last five months trying to rebuild my friendship with you guys. I’m an asshole. A prick. A loser. Whatever you want to call me. I’m trying to be sincere. I’m sorry.”

Sylvie looked at him, a complete pissed off expression. Then she did something he didn’t expect, hugging him and crying. Not a complete over the top sob session. Just a cry.

“…Sylv?”

“…” She let go of him. Wren grabbed Sylvie’s hand. “She and I need to talk one-on-one, alright? Owen, make sure James keeps his ass here.” They say.

Fifteen minutes into their talk.

“Why is he coming back to us now?” Sylvie asked.

“Eh. Either he really missed us or he found out about the rumors of his other friends being creepy towards the freshman.”

“Wha-“

“Yeah. That’s probably a big part of it.” Wren stares at the ground. “I don’t know. You decide whether you forgive him for leaving us or not though.”

“Should I..?” Sylvie asks. Wren shrugs. “It’s up to you. If you need to give it time, sure.”

Sylvie stood up and the two walk back into the room. Owen is currently hanging off of Jamie’s arm. “He was talking my ear off…” Jamie whined.

“Tell me about it.” Wren laughed. “Anyway, the food’s here. Come on.” Owen smiled.

The four walk downstairs and eat. Not much conversation. “…Do you guys actually want me back?” Jamie asked.

“I mean.. yeah.” Wren said. “Obviously.” Owen agreed.

“…” Sylvie stared dead at him. “Not going to answer that.”

“That’s fair.” He sighed.

“But answer this for me: how the hell are we replacing you? It’s more of the other way around.” She asked, each word a hesitation.

“The scary ginger guy.”

Sylvie snorts. Owen almost choked on a chicken wing. Wren starts their loud and brass laughter.

“OCTOBER ZHAO?!- THAT GUY?-“ Wren continued. “REALLY?-“

“Wren became his friend. By association, we started hanging out with him too. He doesn’t like you much only because we’d vent to him about you. Our bad.” Owen dipped his head apologetically.

“..He’s really nice when you get to know him.” Sylvie said. “He thought you’d eventually come around, so there’s that.”

“—oh.” Jamie nods. “I see.”

“…Glad we for that resolved, I guess. Can we watch a movie or something now?” Owen asked.

The four on the couch, exhausted but enjoying the time. The movie is one that’s not trash but not memorable. The front door clicks open.

“…Oh hey Appa. Hope you don’t mind that Wren, Owen, and Sylvia came over.” Jamie says, looking over at his dad standing in the doorway.

“I don’t mind. They’re nice kids.” His dad smiled. “It’s late.. don’t stay up past 12. Get some sleep, son. Make sure your friends get home safely though. I know full well that if anything happened to those three, it’s my ass on the line.” He waved and walked upstairs.

Jamie laughed. “He has a point. Adanna would absolutely sue.” Wren said. “Yeah, my mom would totally raise a lawsuit.” Owen sighed.

Light hum of Sylvie’s snore could be heard. Soft breaths as she leaned against Jamie. Owen decided to spare Jamie but Wren would not give the mercy.

“Awwww. I knew she’d fall back into your arms eventually~”

“Shut.” He said. Sylvie opens an eye. Jamie felt fear as Sylvie stared at him with a sleepy expression. She wrapped her arms around him.

“or I guess you’re in her arms??-“ Wren said.

“..shut up. I need this.” Sylvie said, then went quiet.

“Does this mean we’re okay now?” Jamie asked.

“I’ll think about it. Doesn’t mean I am over you though.” Sylvie said, then falling asleep.

Hi I'm back again!!! Sorry for the long wait, I genuinely lost track of the time.....

But yeah!!! I feel like Aventurine and Ratio would be the type to be scared, because she's always coming home injured from her adventures. And then one day she disappears for a lot longer than she usually does. Absolutely no way to reach her while she's gone. Then she comes back, but she's slightly different. There's a haunted look in her eyes, visibly exhausted and bleeding, but she says nothing about it. And then the next day she's acting fine, as if nothing happened at all. (And then one day, on a sunny afternoon, it will hit her all at once and she'll break. She'll move on. She has to.)

She does, in fact, teach people on the more practical stuff as shes out! Eventually she will get formal education to teach in a more educational setting, but thats not for a bit.

Honestly imagine a little Eleni waddling behind Ratio like a little duck, trying her very best to watch as he cooks. Aventurine cooks too sometimes, but she's obsessed with Ratio's food, not his. A sting to his pride for sure, but he got over it pretty quickly seeing how cute she is just following Ratio around. And then he buys more duck themed outfits just to complete the look. (When she grows out of it, it's a shame, but at least there's pictures....)

As she grows older, she travels too, but it's mostly just to collect recipes or ingredients for the next project she's trying out. She meets a lot of people of different cultures and backgrounds, but she never really makes a proper friend as she does this. It's a bit lonely, but she's fine as long as she has a home and family to return to.

(And then one day, she gets stranded on a planet as her personal ship malfunctions. As far as she can see, there's no sign of human life. It's just her, the greenery, and the night sky covered in stars. And she gives her a moment, just a moment, to think back on her life before getting up and trying to fix things. She's exhausted and bruised, but she tries and tries. Mechanical work was never her strong suit, but she still tries. She tries because she just wants to go home. To go back to that warm feeling of being cared for and loved. It's cold out here.

And a few weeks later, as she comes home and breaks down in her parents arms, it's warm.)

As for how the both of them feel about their roots, I think they would be a little sad. As they learn more and more growing up, there's going to be a disconnect as they can't fully immerse themselves in a culture that was abruptly taken away. At least for the Avgin half. They would both take a bonding trip to their parent's home–planet, and just take in what's there. They would both have a talk about what they feel as they stand there, and the hijinks they've had. And they'll leave feeling settled about it for the first time in their lives.

Thank you for loving them! It's a joy being able to build up who they are and how life has changed them! I would love to hear more about your fankids, I feel like im taking over with how much I yap about mine, haha......

raya girl stop giving your parents (and me) a heart attack everytime u go out and about.

i can totally see her just teaching the locals what she knows about survival and stuff, and them in turn teaching her their customs and tricks. i feel like she'd appreciate every bit of new knowledge learned (taking after her father^^). i'm not so sure if i see her teaching in a formal setting, but the image of raya as a elementary school teacher kinda endears me. just her teaching some practical class and being ridiculously cool and all the kids really liking her ;;;;;

anon pls i need to see eleni in the duck outfits too, you can't just say things like that and gatekeep them :,000 i feel like aventurine would just pull out his wallet and out would fall pics of his two girls (the whole department knows that if they ask about his kids, he will never stop talking about them).

ahhh the roots one hits a bit too close to home bcs man same. the disconnect is real and no matter how much you learn about your background, you cannot fully immerse yourself into it. it's certainly a weird feeling, but as someone who comes from two nationalities, it's very much something i'm familiar with. i wish to explore that some more (esp with my fankids too, bcs there's a lot to unpack here).

arghhh i wish i could rant abt my fankids too, but rn i'm on a rarepair bender and i can't seem to stop (i'm sure you've seen me rant about it on your tl >~<"). maybe some other time, when my ideas are structured enough to put into coherent sentences.

Seems Fable was using the dream move opposite day saying they can have kids with both of the couple's trust and agreement to have kids even though one party couldn't with the DNA from the partner while guessing what the hybrid kids would look like with a little humanity in them.

I was originally going to make Zable a Illbleed or Gemusetto oc but decided to make this character it's own thing.

Zable's beta design was originally going to be a Undertale character that was a shapeshifter but pretended to be human so the human's wouldn't notice her but later was caught then thrown underground.

The running joke was Papyrus would bring her to Asgore to be the last soul but have Papyrus get told it wasn't going to work.

She would only appear on April 1 next to the Gyftrot.

I still would love to know if Thon is a good pronoun for beta Zable.

Her battle animations would be shapeshifting her body like her arms and legs into weapons then swings them around at the player. Picking up the UI box and shaking it around while eyeing it and the stop/go blue/orange spikes glow swapping. They would talk about not belonging.

To spare her you need to calm her down and chat with them. At the end you exchange phone numbers and you meet her in a special place where you just dance with her.

Also Gyftrot will be there too without the stuff on it.

The special place is the abandoned meat factory but they don't know that.

All of this beta stuff was in my head for the longest time.

Before I saw Doe and Nimona but both media brought it back since it was locked up for so long.

She/Thon Zable would take off their eye glasses to reveal nothing underneath and throw it at the player but then do the velma where my glasses at pose.

The glasses are the eyes.

It's a rare attack.

Yeah I like to draw monsters since my art style isn't the best so I have a ton of shifter oc's.

But most of my roleplays I do which are a few like the base character more then for the character to change form.

When you defeat beta Zable.

She would smirk and say "I guess you were more of a monster than me and I was the human all along." "Crazy right?"

Then turns to dust and you win only one gold but it's fools gold.

You can't sell or throw away the fool's gold and is stuck with you in your inventory till the end.

Sometimes beta Zable would mirror match fight the player but only in the killing all monster route.

Beta Zable got caught shifting her arm to make a tool she needed and someone caught her changing her hand then told someone.

The humans sent her underground since they were scared.

If Zable's fool's gold body reaches the Amalgam area then it will try to fuse with each Amalgamate for one unique battle animation for each one then fade away.

This is the only way to get rid of the fool's gold.

I imagine some of the cutscenes in the fool's gold battles will be a random gold hand assisting in the Ui battle.

Like for example the gold hand shooing away the moths or butterflies then string puppetering the Everyman to attack the heart player.

If my artwork was really good I would draw John Doe interacting with Bitmark/Gifford over Zable Fable.

Maybe have the two fight each other for Zable's date while Zable is oblivious.

Bitmark/Gifford was my first yandere like character I knew about, Signed and Sealed With A Kiss base character was the second, Peter King is third, and John Doe is fourth.

If Zable Fable was in trouble with a snatcher REALTORs or a wood person/tree people then any version would have copycat item the Wudolla bugs then just put them on the enemy for them to snack on if the tree's bodies are withered or old.

Zable would probably give these creatures out like pins or stickers by just sticking them on tree enemies to let them eat.

I can see Zable say "Hey you dropped your house pin." and have Fable shapeshift the wudolla bug into the house pin for the REALTORs to wear then if the lure body is old then it will eat the plant flesh body down to the wooden skeleton but if it's young wood it would change back.

If I knew how to draw really good I would makes these Wudolla bugs into metallic pins, stickers, and laminated charms that shine when light shines on them.

Nicknames If Zable Fable dated Maison Talo and John Doe with other stuff.

Also I think it's canon that the bathroom's in a REALTORs house body is for aesthetic and doesn't work.

So how do these plant people mimics keep their lure bodies clean after a meal?

Zable any version would love to see Maison Talo's seasonal color changes like his cheetah zoot suit looking outfit.

But all of them will be curious of the other seasonal change forms.

Probably say.

I can see Zable taking Maison Talo's business card then wait for him to leave then write their number on it then call up Maison to regift his own card back to him saying this.

Zable Fable would be the character to walk inside of a REALTORs horror house and if both parties are friends or lovers would bring back food if the character got a buy one get one free deal then would ask the house if they want the extra food in case they need to realm jump.

Zable Fable would just tired face plant after a long day of interviews with knowing the history of the places they visited on either the REALTORs floor on the meat furniture to kiss it then the lure body if they are lovers.

And if the REALTORs up for it but that is before they kiss the REALTORs door.

Janet still would be weirded out by all of this but since she's inorganic then she is safe but would explore the place like seeing the bathroom just being their as a aesthetic and not work.

Zable Fable would want to know if a REALTORs could eat their own business cards since they rot like fruit. Maybe drop it on the floor just to see the reaction of the house.

Zable Fable would also try to lead the villain that each version's story by running away in the REALTORs house body with YipYop thinking both parties are hiding just for the REALTORs to eat them then finally break the sitcom curse unless YipYop adapts to that and kills the house.

But if the REALTORs successfully eat YipYop they might hallucinate pretty bad that Fable has the stay with them to make them normal.

If YipYop adapts then they may day dream a move to take the house out that might stress out Zable enough to unlock Fable to randomly dream move back the day dream attacks.

Like for example YipYop day dreaming tile tenting the floors of the house or try to wreck it with a wrecking ball and maybe a warning on making the bathroom work.

While Fable would try to stop it by using Zable's body to grab the wrecking ball then send it back while a clone tries to stop the floor while healing it.

Have another clone try to fix the bathroom.

YipYop is after Fable and not Zable but Fable uses Zable as a hiding spot.

Fable is concealing themselves from YipYop to heal up but is actually shifted stuck as a blue upside down heart necklace to heal so they can one day be in the waking world but are resting but only when danger is near they swap places with Zable.

Also if you eat a piece of any shifter or vored them the person or being who ate them will hallucinate and slowly be mind controlled by the shifter.

I can see Zable point to the name tag with John Doe on it for a split second then revert to normal once the same name joke hits. Zable would also do the same name game to Maison Talo when he says dear buyer then joke corrects him with saying their name is Maison Talo.

Zable Fable because of the sitcom curse would say puns that would make you grown.

"Hey I owe you a quarter back and I forget to give you a nickel back with 50 cents in change."

Zable Fable would jokingly say that then say they were almost number 1 but someone beat them to the ranking as a joke then smirk shrug at Maison Talo.

I wonder what his reaction would be?

I can see Maison Talo saying Zable's not a REALTORs then Zable jokingly gaslighting him to think the character is one by showing a custom house badge they purchased online but then say just kidding.

I can see Zable Fable trying to joke that each version of the character is a REALTORs by dying once then exploring the Uncanny Valley once to find a house that looks like the character then take a picture of the house then later lead Maison Talo to it to slowly gaslight him.

Maybe have Zable joke that they don't have business cards but gives him a food coupon instead of the business card while saying their defective at making them.

Fable in Zable vessel body after a REALTORs knocked out Zable then gets up to slowly takes off their normal buyer clothes to reveal a REALTORs outfit underneath that has the opposite of what the REALTORs genotype pin is.

Emily Cavendish: Younger sister. While the two were much closer when they were young, their relationship has become somewhat distant and strained since they have gotten older. However, at the same time, she is envious of the freedom Emi has since the expectations others have of her are much lower. - Aya can speak and read Japanese fluently. She has known how to speak it since she was young, but learning how to read it took much longer. She is still learning different kanji.

- The kanji Akko uses to write Aya’s given name is 亜矢.

- She was first introduced to the Night Fall series by Barbara and Lotte whenever either of them would babysit while she was young. They would often read to her from the books, and she fell completely in love with them. Her favorite character is Edgar.

- Aya adores magic, and always wanted to go to as many of Akko’s shows as she could when she was younger. She is often discouraged by the fact that magic doesn’t seem to be something that comes naturally to her. As a result, Akko was usually her biggest cheerleader and did everything she could to help Aya learn.

- Aya was easily frightened as a child, and to this day still does not like horror movies or the dark. She would never let others know that she sleeps with a small nightlight.

- She detests blood and gore, and has no idea how Diana is able to expose herself to it so easily when studying medical textbooks. Just glancing at it makes her feel faint.

Now we get to Day 13's prompt, Frock!

"It's you and me against the world, Brock!"

"Yeah. And I really hope we’ll always be like that."

Just about everything I shipped at the time of the show's premiere was straight and hetero-presenting ships. Back in those days, I was only just starting to learn what LGBTQ+ was. In the rare instance I saw a queer moment in the things I watched, I often didn’t react because I was so used to seeing (and shipping) straight stuff. I didn't have a full understanding of what queerness was yet.

So, when Frock started to become evident in the show, I didn't immediately ship it. I just thought, "Oh, they're just really good friends!" but boy, was I wrong. In February of 2018, I began to ship Master Frown with Unikitty, but I HEAVILY regret doing it now. I wish I've never shipped that at any point at all in my life. I remember making horrible excuses to ship it, so I feel that I should never have done it to begin with. (I also regret shipping Brock with my friend’s woman OC since he and Frown are heavily implied to be gay.)

But what matters is that I acknowledged my claims were very, VERY wrong, apologized for everything I said, stopped shipping it, accepted what was canon, and moved on. I've learned a lot and grown since then, and now I know better.

Being here on the Internet (especially this site) has taught me a lot about what it means to be queer. In time, Frock began to grow on me. I could finally see the ways that Master Frown and Brock showed that they loved each other. Now, I can happily say that I adore Frock as much as I adore Foxodile. I’ve looked through people’s ship art for them and reblogged it. I’ve drawn some art of them myself, created fankids for them, and am going to have an entire subplot for them in a future installment of Big Bright World. Loving these fellas with other fans makes me want to party all night long.

The way they work through problems is just so, SO good. No matter what these two go through, nothing gets in the way of their love. I mean, have you SEEN them working together in Best Best Friends?! They have incredible chemistry!

I have a very complicated relationship with Asgoriel as a pairing. 

I will preface this by saying, if you enjoy Asgoriel because you like sweet, fluffy, happy pairings, I’m not trying to attack you. I do understand that these characters have been through a lot, and people want their favorites to be happy, and for a lot of people, ‘being happy’ means ‘in a loving relationship, as an escape from how life can be rough’. You can scroll past this if you so desire. But I'd be delighted if you ask yourself if the ONLY happy ending for these two characters is ‘in a loving relationship again, possibly with children’. 

On the one hand, I don’t like Post-Pacifist Asgoriel stories. I feel like the majority of them skip over the very real issues that Toriel and Asgore have, in an attempt to make Asgore happy, because the author believes the goat dad deserves happiness, and the only way he can acquire happiness is by giving him back the things he yearns to have back. Sometimes with a fankid for extra cuteness. 

But not only does this feel unfair to Toriel, who firmly establishes that she does not want to be friends with Asgore anymore... but it feels like it’d be horribly unhealthy for Asgore, too. 

In both Undertale and Deltarune, Asgore fixates on the past. To perhaps an unhealthy degree in Deltarune. In Undertale, when he’s forced to confront how recreating his perfect happy family and ignoring all the horrible things that happened is impossible, he kills himself. It feels to me that just shoving him back together with Toriel, and giving him Frisk, a newly revived Asriel, or a new baby fankid, to give him his desperately desired happy family, is not actually giving him a happy ending. it’s enabling his tendency for denial. He’s not actually dealing with his grief, or suicidal depression, he’s pretending that nothing bad ever happened, or something similar. Attempts to give him this ending exactly, or pretending that it’s Toriel’s responsibility to smile to make him happy, feels like it’s missing massive, gaping chunks of Asgore’s character and flaws. 

On the other hand... writing their relationship as though they never, ever loved each other also bothers me a lot? 

I’ve seen some takes, occasionally, that Asgore is abusive, or that Toriel never loved him. Admittedly, six years after the game’s creation I’ve stopped really seeing them, but they used to be based off Asgore’s reaction to his kids’ deaths, Asgore and Toriel’s behavior in the True Pacifist ending, and the fact that they had separate rooms. I feel like pretending that they never loved each other... misses the point of their whole tragedy, too. Just as much as claiming that Chara was evil and only ever wanted a boss monster’s soul from the Dreemurrs. 

Toriel and Asgore were so embarassingly sappy that they had cute nicknames for each other. Toriel, specifically, had at least two or three for Asgore. They were so physically affectionate that they beat the incredibly lovey-dovey Dogi in a nose-nuzzling competition. And they may have had different rooms, but Toriel was so excited about being a mother that she woke Asgore up in the middle of the night to tell him mom puns, and once he had woken up a bit, he laughs at them and tries making puns back. 

They loved each other. They were happy together. And then a horrible tragedy hit them, and they both made the wrong choice in dealing with it. And then they both kept making wrong choices. Asgore declared war, and through either his declaration or his own weapon, killed six children that Toriel had cared for. Toriel stayed in the Ruins, unwilling to decisively pick a side between her husband and her children, for fear it would end in watching one of them die. They let an indefinite period of time pass, without really dealing with their grief or their mistakes. 

The point of the tragedy isn’t that one was a victim and the other was a horrible person. It’s sad and painful and engaging and compelling because it’s complicated and there is no real ‘bad guy’. Flattening it into ‘well, it was just a little spat and they managed to work it out!’ feels reductive to me, but so does ‘they don’t love each at all anymore, perhaps they never did.’ I think they still did love each other, and they may have been why Toriel was so unwilling to decisively stop Frisk and Asgore’s fight. But also... love is not some magical force that saves people all by itself. It’s just another emotion. Like fear. Like anger. Like joy. 

I don’t think Toriel and Asgore will ever truly regain the relationship they once had. It’s a tragedy that impacted the entire Underground for generations. That’s not to say they can’t ever be friends, or even begin a new relationship. But Asgore needs to overcome his suicidal depression instead of relying on a romantic partner to save him, and Toriel needs to learn to take care of herself instead of other people. And I think they both need some time... apart, but not alone. They were both self-isolating for a long time, and I don’t think leaping into a romantic relationship where they rely on just each other for happiness and denial is the healthiest thing. I think they both need more friends than just Sans and Undyne, respectively.

I think they were ruined in the disastrous last part but I never stopped shipping them. Please keep on writing about them and give us married Junzumi for the first time in the story of fanfictions. Anon I am vibrating at the speed of light that's how happy you've just made me. I will infodump about them no problem no questions asked. This got ridiculously long so I have to put a read more in. Enjoy me incomprehensibly screaming about my favorite ship of all time 💀

Ok so yukamitsu. It's honestly my favorite ship/pairing out of any media ever because I think it's so well done and there's a LOT of material for it in canon. So ok to start off the beginning. It's very obvious from the start that Yukari dislikes/distrusts Mitsuru because she blames her for what happened to her father (she's basically the closest she can get to the Kirijo Group so I can understand why she directs most of her anger at her). Now Mitsuru I think can tell that Yukari doesn't like her but doesn't let it show that it bothers her. I think it does upset Mitsuru a little because we see her getting sad at Yakushima when Yukari lashes out at her and also after the love hotel mission. Speaking of the love hotel mission in the female route as far as I know they can literally end up in a room together under the influence of the shadow (like femc and Akihiko and it's very heavily implied that the same thing happened because Mitsuru gets very flustered and says "oh nothing happened") which is like mega gay. So there is tension between the two at the start for good reason to be honest.

But after the Yakushima stuff Yukari starts to shift the blame towards the Kirijo Group itself as opposed to Mitsuru so the tension between them alleviates a bit. Now the drama CD that I listened to yesterday was set during the summer school stuff. And in that the tension between the two was present BUT it was now because Yukari was annoyed with Mitsuru over something that she couldn't quite understand. Until she realizes that it wasn't Mitsuru that was upsetting her exactly but herself. Because she could see that Mitsuru was taking on too much work AND YUKARI COULDN'T FIND A WAY TO HELP HER. She was upset with her own helplessness to help Mitsuru if that makes sense. Mitsuru realizes that Yukari was upset with her taking on too much responsibility and the cd ends with Mitsuru asking Yukari specifically to help her with student council work because she wanted to spend time with her DEAR FRIEND and COMPANION. Now look that's pretty gay if you ask me ok. I don't go out of my way to hang out with friends and call them my companions unless I'm crushing/interested in them in that way. Also to make amends Mitsuru offers Yukari the use of her private shower which you know, that's a pretty big deal.

Then fast forward a few months (big P3 spoilers here) and we get to Mitsuru's dad dying and Yukari recovering the true recording of her dad. The recording is important because it basically removes any of the blame Yukari had towards Mitsuru over her dad dying by showing that her dad sacrificed himself to stop the crazy experiments and also showed that Yukari's dad loved her. So Yukari knows what it's like to lose a parent you're close to. And she can see that Mitsuru is in so much pain from losing her own father. She goes looking for her just before the Kyoto trip because she heard she wasn't going and convinces her to come because she knew it would do her good. Then god the Kyoto scene. THE KYOTO SCENE MAN KILLS ME. Mitsuru breaking down and admitting that her whole reason for fighting was to protect her father (which nobody else knew) and now he was gone she didn't have a reason to live. Then Yukari literally slapping some sense into her and reminding her that she had other reasons to live and that she had to uphold her father's legacy and get rid of the dark hour for both their fathers' sakes. And then Mitsuru turning around and thanking Yukari and asking her to stand by her side until the end. Ok aside from that sounding weirdly like a marriage vow (til death do us part pretty fucking gay Mitsuru) it's also a sign that Mitsuru is starting to trust others. The only other time she ever made a vow/promise similar to this is to herself to protect her father and relieve him of his burden no matter what. AND YET HERE SHE IS MAKING A SIMILAR VOW TO YUKARI. A VOW THAT CAUSES HER TO AWAKEN TO HER ULTIMATE PERSONA AND STRENGTH HER RESOLVE TO LIVE AND DEFEAT THE DARK HOUR NO MATTER WHAT. Don't touch me I am CRYING. Also in the middle of all that Yukari is like "oh let's take a bath together" and Mitsuru BLUSHES. Mitsuru only blushes twice in the main story (not including her Social Link). And both of those times as because of Yukari. Also I'm sorry who asks if you want to take a bath together I don't know about you but I'm not gonna turn around to my "best friend" and be like ahaha wanna take a bath and get naked together :] like who does that Yukari unless you're pretty gay for said person.

Then ok I could sit here and scream about the drama CDs New Moon and Full Moon (which fun reminder that they are canon :]) but this is super long already and I still have more to talk about. But they happen after the Kyoto trip and are incredibly gay. The whole thing can be summed up by Yukari shooting down a helicopter to save Mitsuru and "aiming with the power of her heart". She says that word for word by the way. Oh and Mitsuru's mother literally approves of their relationship and wants to meet Yukari.

Then after that there's just little scenes between them. For example in December when all of SEES are deciding what to do about Ryoji. Mitsuru goes into Yukari's room to talk to her about the whole thing and the first thing Yukari says is "aww are you feeling lonely ;)" in a really teasing (borderline flirty imo) voice and Mitsuru giggles and is like "are you teasing me". Like that little exchange is so playful and it's so nice to see them just bonding casually given everything that's happened between them before. And then they both resolve not to give up and to fight Nyx together no matter what. Which is super cute and gay. There's also a scene around this stage in the fourth movie where Yukari seems to be almost suicidal and Mitsuru getting really concerned about her. This even leads to Io (because the ultimate personas don't show up until the very end in the movies which was weird but anyway) trying to attack Yukari and Mitsuru and the others freaking out. I'm not doing that scene justice because it's been a while since I saw the last movie but it's very gay.

Then there's the Answer. After Yukari breaks down at the thought of not being able to rescue the Protagonist who comforts her?? Mitsuru. Mitsuru tells her that she didn't actually agree with what she was doing but she didn't want Yukari to fight alone and wanted to repay her for helping her deal with the loss of her father. And then she says she considers Yukari standing by her side during the main story was one of the most cherished moments of her life. Because remember up until this point Mitsuru had massive difficulty opening up to anyone and Yukari was the first person she truly opened up to. This scene makes me cry every time because like to see Mitsuru be so supportive of Yukari and gently reminder that she has friends to lean on and their hug just makes me so soft and tender.

That's all the canon stuff. As for my own feelings well I really started shipping them because of everything that happens in canon but like the idea of them ending up together makes me so happy and soft. Both of them had pretty rough childhoods and they both lost their fathers whom they were close to so like they understand each other on a fundamental level. Yukari was the first person that Mitsuru ever properly opened up to and Yukari also really cares for Mitsuru even when she was apprehensive of her and blamed her for the death of her father. I just think they're perfect for each other and the idea of them being happily married makes me so soft. Which is pretty much why I have a whole au about my fankids for them.

Ultimately I just think that their relationship in canon is really powerful and really well done. The ship is a beautiful example of enemies to friends to lovers and I just love them with all my little gay heart.

- He is not a villian. He is an antagonist. A very spoiled and selfcentered antagonist. Two completely different things lmao Villifying the (arguably) only openly queer and also one of the few poc characters leaves a bitter taste in my mouth haha (maybe this is more an opinion? 🙈) He would cheat to win or get his way, but he wouldn’t hurt or kill lol Krupp is mostly there for show (and protection)

- Lex LOVES cuddles. He is the tiny spoon, no matter what ship lmao

- True switch asghhfddfsd

- He has difficulty speaking about his feelings, but has no trouble showing them (both good and bad feelings lmao)

- Depending on the AU in my head, he’s either a transman or intersex (amab in my fic) But overall always non binary, he/him pronouns tho, but he doesn’t really care what one uses lol

- He loves playing with hair and having his own hair played with. Watch out for tiny sparks tho

- He is a long noodle with the longest limbs, and the tightest butt you’ve ever seen

- Post-2018 CB is not Dinahs friend tho, and he and Electra would definitely work together a lot. But Elektra and Canoose are fundamentally entirely different characters after the update so 🤷🏼🤷🏼

- Pre-2018 Pearl is trans (c’mon look at her colours) Post-2018 Pearl is decidedly not lmao

- Dinah is actually a natural brunette but dyes her hair blonde, sometimes she wants to go natural for longer tho, she has different phases lol

- Dinah is tiny spoon, always. GB doesn’t protest at all, he likes to feel Big

first lets say: my favorite shigaadeku trope is “Deku falls for shiggy first and becomes crazy for his attention” Bakugou thought Deku was smart and todoroki is like “get that dick bro”

Soft TodoBaku makes my heart die, these two are perfect for eachother sorry

Dadmight feeling dissapointed in Deku and himself and trying to help Deku whilst sticking to his morals.

Dadzawa supports Deku’s plan for reformation 100% and gives him advice on how to go about it

Togatwice being Shiggy’s wingman even though he personally is not into Deku

I like Shigaraki falling for Deku second and slowly. 

Deku has to die before Shigaraki even realizes his feelings and self sacrifice

hero! Deku x Villain! Shigaraki where they overall keep society but also trying to change it. 

Dabi hates Shouto but if bAKUGOU HURTS HIS SMALL SIBLING HE WILL THROW HANDS.

Shouto also has nightmares about Bakugou’s kidnapping, She was so close yet so far. She should have been faster. She blames herself so much more for Bakugous kidnapping

After Todorki comes out getting Shouto to wear pants again is hell. She’ll wear leggings and thats about it, otherwize its skirts. “There are fashionable pants for girls, Todo-chan” “skirt goes spinny’ 

Todoroki loves loves LOVES to smell pretty. When she first came out she gave all her products to deku because he didn’t wanna throw them away and borrowed all the girls stuff. 

Todoroki is uncomfortable changing in the girls lockerroom so she changes in the boys like before but it makes the boys uncomfortable because “omfg a girl is changing in front of me”

Todoroki is very self conscience about her more masculine figure from training as a boy for 15 years. 

Mitsuki loves Shouto but... god Todo-chan is an idiot.

Todoroki loves her in-laws but fuck. They are health and fashion obsessed. Living with Bakugou for three years did nothing for preparing her. 

“Midoriya, they don’t even drink coffee! How do they survive in the morning? Why are they all morning people?”

The Bakugous bought a keureg because they felt bad having a tired shouto in their house whilst they were loud. 

They never stopped being loud but its the tought that counts.

Momo and Todoroki are some of the prettiest girls in the hero industry.

Shinkama or KamaKiri? Both are great. But also KiriMina... so many good ideas for the rest of 1-A.

I only make fankids for pairing i actively ship with only that character because then its just fusion which isn’t my favorite. 

Like Idchaco has a fankid, shigadeku has two kids, Bakutodo has two kids ect ect. 

I mean I have ideas of other kids but like i said more of fusions. 

some are literally just stronger versions of one of their parents. Like Himiko Toga is a fankid with both twice’s and Toga’s quirk, it was Jin’s idea. 

Speaking of fankids. Todoroki tries and fails to recieve her daughters affection. Todoroki loves her daughter but damn is Rei cold. She’s named after her passed grandmother.

Rei died soon after she was born so Katsuki, who got along well with rei, decided on the name. 

Also because pregnancy especially abnormal pregnancy makes me squicky and uncomfy most fankids of trans or mlm/wlw pairings are mostly made in a lab Brave New World style. Even some staright pairings are like that onnce again because pregnancy squicks me. 

Jirou and Bakugou do songs together.

The remedial classes do karaoke together.It gets gay fast.

Mina x Camie is cute okay. Bakusquad gets new members daily. 

Shigaraki brings the public to his side to raise up Deku’s political career. Whoopsie.

Dadzawa wants his kids safe, even if their adults. 

Eri and Shinsou play fight often. Eri has once been caught shoplifting candy. 

Shinsou is called sunshine by the bakusquad.
