it must be exhausting to deny yourself the simple things like holding hands or going on dates if you are in love with someone, as we all know Z is a very private person but she's accepted fans will be interested in her relationship so she's living her life the way she wants to and does not hide who she loves anymore, she and tom are at a place in their relationship where they are comfortable and secure enough to let the world in a tiny bit while still keeping most of their relationship completely to themselves

hey I don't know if this is allowed on here but I think I may possibly have covert NPD but I don't know if I'm trying to make myself seem 'different' or if I WANT something to be wrong with me.

I took a test that seemed to be pretty reliable and credible and I got 'very high possibility' but I'm still not sure. I'm also under 18 so I can't really get officially diagnosed and it would be beyond embarrassing if it turned out I was wrong so I don't want to reach out to anybody just to save myself of the embarrassment and humiliation.

It's okay that you're a minor, and if you make a mistake. Especially when it comes to self diagnosis, I know that well. But if you think you have it, you have it. You can't accidentally fake a disorder, I promise. The healthcare system is horrible anyway with people like us, so it's okay to never get an official diagnosis. Just do what you feel is important and right.

This is probably a silly question that makes no sense, but I wanted to ask, how do you write Rodrigue? I know you probably follow his canon actions in the games and take some of his dialogue, but what exactly *is* Rodrigue like when you write him? 👀 i kinda have a hard time visualizing him talking in my mind for example ^^U

Honestly I ask myself that every time I have to write this man, because the short answer is "I write him like a dad I think ???", and the longer answer is "fuck if I know, it depends on the scene, the characters he's talking to, the situation, the mood--"

so okay these are the rough steps I go through when I write Rodrigue:

I try to keep Rodrigue's in-game voice and speech patterns roughly in my head. Sometimes this means rereading the screenshots I took, and sometimes I actually listen to his voice lines to try to get a better sense of his intonation. I don't do this before EVERY chapter (or even that often), but I always like being able to hear the character say the lines I write.

I try to get a clear sense of what emotional state I want to portray for him at the start (and middle, and end) of the conversation.

I figure out who he's talking to, and what role he plays in relation to them. Example: although Rodrigue cares for both Felix and Dimitri, given Dimitri is his king, Rodrigue wouldn't joke around with him the same way as he would with Felix. He WOULD still show affection with Dimitri, but it would be a more respectful/low-key sort of care than making Felix wince with dad jokes.

Then I put all of those things together, start from the basic personality of "warm and affectionate (but respectful) father-figure who often provides guidance to others, but who can crack jokes or be more blunt around those he's comfortable with", and yolo it

this is a poster i made for my call to action assignment in humanities! it's a bunch of basic and easy stretches for people who sit and work at a desk all day (me)

the idea is that you'd put the poster up above ur desk and do the stretches every 30 minutes or so,, the whole routine won't take more than about 6 minutes to complete and when done regularly it can prevent wrist, shoulder, neck and back pain! :)

all these stretches can be done while sitting (although i HIGHLY recommend you stand up and move around while taking a break from working)

When Senshi was young in the dungeon the majority of the adults he were with ostracized him. All except Gillin, who died to make sure Senshi had something to eat: unseasoned boiled meat that may or may not have been one of their comrades.

It really puts into perspective why he was so nurturing towards Chilchuck. When Chil reveals he’s 28 to the party, Senshi responds by telling him that he thought he was older. Senshi was in his 30s when he and his comrades got trapped in the dungeon, so it’s safe to assume that he thought Chil was at a similar age.

He met a young boy who was, from his perspective, forced to do dangerous work in the dungeon just like he was, and so, Senshi made an effort to look after Chilchuck in the same way Gillin looked after him.

Mind you, when Senshi was young in the dungeon he had to starve for weeks, eat the horse he loved, and finish it off spending the next i don’t know how many years wondering if he committed cannibalism.

Senshi understands first hand the value of nutrition and proper eating, so when he’s with the party he makes an effort to make sure they’re all eating a full and balanced diet. Not only that, but Senshi INVOLVES them in the process of getting food to eat, always preparing it in front of them and narrating every ingredient in the process so that there’s no doubt about what they’re eating.
