Eddie Munson x reader
Chapter 1
[notes: R!Eddie. Julie!reader. Dad/leader!Hopper. (Hopper!Reader.) This chapter’s a bit of a longer one, bc there’s worldbuilding before meeting! Tw for this chapter: Zombies, guns, blood, flesh/brain eating (not super graphic), briefly dating j*son (for the plot)]
God, life sucks.
Well, Eddie guessed it wasn’t much of a life anymore. He was dead, he knew that, or rather, part of the undead. That’s who he lived with too. If you could really call it living in any number of ways.
Eddie lived in an airport with hundreds, likely thousands, of other zombies, God it made it sound like he was living in some Romero flick. But this was reality now. He knew it was true, he was surrounded by hundreds of actual, undeniable, flesh eating zombies. Eddie was one himself.
Not that he’d cared, or even had the brain energy to count how many zombies there were around. He knew there were a lot in just this place, but Eddie still felt alone. He just wanted to connect with people. Why was that so hard? Maybe it was to do with the fact he could hardly communicate. He was sure his thinking was normal, but he never had the fuel or care to get out more than a few words, barely stringing a sentence together.
And he was probably the most well spoken, among zombies he actually communicated with. Most just moaned and groaned. His best friends responded with words, but Eddie thought he was a bit different, his sentences a little more... he couldn’t say passionate, really, but put together.
He was sure he would have had so many people he connected with when he was alive. Maybe he would’ve even been popular. Someone with lots of friends and a big family, someone who had someone always just as bubbly as him constantly around, who always had company. If the darkening sparks in his unbeating heart, and the few synapses that still fired neurons around, were anything to go off.
He did remember a dad though. It was one of the few other zombies he did ‘speak’ to, that he cohabitated this airport with. He barely had memories anymore, but he was sure Wayne was his father in life. He wasn’t exactly sure why his name was ‘Wayne’ in his head, rather than ‘dad’, but the energy to care fizzled away, when he at least had someone to sit by and feel like he was with.
There were a couple of zombies who stood out to Eddie. He had two other friends, who’d barely managed to stumble out their names of ‘Gareth’ and ‘Jeff’ when he first met them, although Eddie had no idea when that was. Eddie wished they could all just... do something, something together as friends. But those two were always happy, if you could use the word, to simply shamble about, so Eddie didn’t protest.
A couple of others stuck out to him. Three kids, boys, who always stuck together, that Eddie seemed to find himself watching longer than other strangers here, when they passed. The kids watched him too, with their duller eyes. The one with curly hair who was always wearing a cap, was the one who Eddie spotted immediately whenever the three briefly passed by him, on every creatures never ending loop throughout this airport.
There was one place, Eddie could call his own in this area. A home. An airplane, that Eddie never let anyone else inside. His Wayne had been allowed to see the outside, shuffled fowards by Eddie who could almost even come across as eager to show it off, like a child with a cool toy. Although there were no memories of that, more so the feeling of nearly having pride, twitching some part of his brain that that was what that experience was akin to. He’d let his Wayne touch the outside of the plane, having let Gareth and Jeff do so too, and even once, when the three boys found their way there, Eddie had let them explore the outside.
Anyone else, near Eddie’s plane, had been shrieked and bitten at and attacked, if they’d tried to come inside. None of the others like him cared enough to fight over it, so it was usually fine. They all just stumbled about the runway, uncaring towards anything like an object, such as a plane, because they didn’t care about anything at all. Except food.
It was another reason Eddie knew he was different, because not only did he, somewhat, care about his plane, but also the things inside. Eddie knew he was a kleptomaniac, but in this world, that shit didn’t exactly matter. Anything pretty that caught Eddie’s eye, made him tilt his head in an almost feeling, almost remembering way, he had to bring it home and keep safe. He stuffed it inside his pockets, and took it to his plane, to keep on display. Not just to be looked at, but to be used for it’s purpose. To be held over and over. To be touched, and explored, and cherished.
His Wayne, once, had picked up a very pointy funny shaped dice, that his hand had accidentally fallen on, and Eddie, who was sitting beside him at the time, had nearly had his eyes shine. A long whimpering groan came out of his throat as his Wayne briefly ‘studied’ the item, but even without hearing Eddie’s noise, he would’ve passed the item over to the man beside him anyways.
Eddie had never really been ‘gifted’ anything. The others wouldn’t care enough to pick up an object, to even see most as ‘special’ like Eddie did, and then remember to carry them around, carefully, to seek out Eddie and pass it to him. Zombies didn’t seem to put that much thought, or effort into things. But whenever Eddie had been next to his Wayne, in the few times his Wayne had found something in his hand, he had passed it to Eddie. So Eddie kept all of them, even if they weren’t items he usually would have swiped, because Eddie knew he yearned for humanity.
He wasn’t sure if the others did, or maybe they just couldn’t communicate it. Although Eddie was the only one of him he’d seen, who had special objects and tried to communicate more, to put himself out there. He remembered raising his arm, to wave at somebody once, but they kept standing on their escalator, not even keeping their head where they could look at him.
Certainly his friends maybe more than others might have some semblance of wanting the same, if he had to stretch an estimate, with what he had to compare to, but Eddie knew he was different. He... he liked, these things. He wished he could properly care for them, but they made him nearly feel something, even if it was a ghost of a memeory versus an emotion, but in this never ending loop, it was enough.
At least he wasn’t like the boney’s. No, they were the undead like him, but who had completely given up. Eddie shambled past a solemn and depressed looking woman, who seemed even more dead than he and the others were. On the inside, Eddie grimaced and groaned at her to stop stop stop eww, as she idly ripped and ripped a chunk of flesh away from her chin. Eddie thought of picking at spots, something the undead didn’t really have, so it must’ve been some form of memory. And he watched as her skin peeled and split into a girthier strip of flesh, until eventually it broke away at the top of her nose, leaving the left side of her chin and upper lips, with nothing but dark grey bone.
This was what the boney’s were. Skeletons only. Creatures who had completely given up on their un-life, and wasted away, until whatever ‘humanity’ they must have still had, like Eddie and his friends did, was completely extinguished.
These creatures would rip apart anything with a heartbeat. Even Eddie and the others stayed away from boney’s.
Of course Eddie would be a little hypocritical branding them monsters. They were, but so was Eddie. So was his Wayne, and his friends, the three kids he saw, and every single zombie in this world. They had to eat the living to survive. It was just nature. Eddie felt a sharp, twisting pain in his stomach, as he reflected on his monstrous side, leaning against the bar table where his best friends Gareth and Jeff were sitting together.
He didn’t want to hurt people. He really didn’t, he didn’t think he would have wanted that when he was alive. So why, now he was this, should he, Eddie, be any different?
Besides, humans tried to shoot at him all the time. Not only shoot, but use fire, axes, one woman even sent a sharped board sign at his chest once, Eddie thought he could remember not eating her brains, but he wasn’t sure. They tried to kill him, and his others. And, yeah, he knew they also tried to kill them too, but it really was kill or be killed. Of course Eddie would get a little cranky if he was already hangry, and someone tried to blow up him and his ‘friends’! Back when he was alive... well, maybe he still wouldn’t have killed those who tried to hurt him, or those he cared about back then, he supposed, but he was sure it was human nature to fight back. He understood why both sides did what they did. He was just obviously going to fight on his own team.
If he only ate their flesh, his... his victim, although he hated the word, he didn’t think highly or deludedly of himself enough to decribe his feats any other way - if he only ate their flesh, then a victim would become like him, a member of the undead. But their brains were the best part...
Without their brains, they’re fully dead. Not undead, not a boney, just gone. And in some way, Eddie could almost feel thankful he, his Wayne, and the others he thought of had had their brains spared. Even if you could hardly call this a life, not one you should be grateful for anyways. But the brains were the most filling part, the tastiest, the only thing that satiated his undead nature.
However there was one downside to eating the brains. You gained your victims memories. Their thoughts and feelings for those whiles too, while he ate. Eddie hated that part. He was sure he’d feel regret, guilt, if he was human. If the fullness of brains did not appease his appetite so well. He did wonder if others felt that way, after living through their victims eyes for a while. But Eddie never found the words, or the strive, to ask.
Instead he nudged Gareth’s shoulder with his arm, the two boys at the bar slowly groaning as they turned to look up at the curly haired boy.
“H-Hungry.” Eddie stuttered out, groaning roughly as if to show it. The three boys all grunted at the same time, rhythmically. About as close as an interpersonal connection they could get, except for maybe whatever their internal monologues thought. Eddie still had no clue if they thought as much as his brain seemed to.
Gareth eventually spoke up, him and Jeff barely managing to hit each other in agreement. “City.” The three boys nodded in agreement, as Jeff, then Gareth, slowly stood.
Zombies nearly always travelled in packs, as it was safer that way. Eddie lead the front with the other two boys, with about four more undead behind him. He didn’t see his Wayne, but he’d seen flesh dangling from his teeth yesterday morning, so Eddie wasn’t moved to stray from the pack.
Eddie did like being alone in his plane, but when it came to hunting, you almost always travelled as a group.
In the couple of years since the world changed, you hadn’t much.
Sure you’d had to grow a bit tougher. You didn’t have the life you thought you would when you were five years old. But you were lucky, in a way. You still felt like you were you.
Since the outbreak, your dad had gone from Sheriff Hopper, to the leader of your community. Your town, bordered by a massive wall that had been built in the years, was made of scrap and junk that no zombies could get through. You were lucky to still have your dad, even if he’d gotten gruffer than you remembered him being before everything happened. You even still had your friends, this side of Hawkins being fortunate enough to not have many infected during the start of the cataclysm, so you all had time to create enough of a barrier, to begin making your new society.
Robin, Nancy and Steve had been your childhood best friends, and you four were still a very close group. But you’d only met your now boyfriend, Jason, in high school. You never felt as close with Jason as you did with your friends, but you supposed that was to do with the life long bonds you guys already had. Jason was nice enough anyways. A gentleman, respectful, he was the first person to ever tell you he loved you. And you did too. You thought. According to one conversation with Steve, you apparently felt nowhere near what he had for Nancy, when those two used to date. But maybe you were just differnet than him. Your dad didn’t seem to mind Jason either. He didn’t particularly like anyone, of course barring you, and your three friends he’d watched grow up since babies. But he thought Jason was okay. Especially since Jason’s dad turned.
You showed Jason your route for escaping the confines of your walls, that Steve and Nancy had stumbled upon half a year prior. You five all knew of a weak part of the wall, that lead straight into a corridor in a damaged building that had once been part of your towns high school. It was a bit stupid to have an easily accessible exit next to a bunch of sneaky high schoolers anyway, with almost all of the other buildings of the school being right next to this wall. The nails weren’t even attached to the fellow sheet of tin. It was like having a key in a door that wasn’t twisted. You could pull away one sheet of aluminium, the nails all poking out, and they’d slot neatly back into place of the tin when you closed it.
That building of the highschool, adorned with posters in different languages so you could guess its old use, lead straight into a football field. That’s where you five all snuck off to in private.
And that’s how you and Jason escaped one day, only to find his dad and his team of scouts coming back from their mission. With empty bags, dead eyes, and stumbling with bite marks all over their bodies...
You’d always appreciate Jason for doing the right thing, even though you had no idea how hard it could’ve been. Watching him shoot his own father, to save both yours and his life, while the reanimated corpse of his dad lunged for his 18 year old sons throat, it had been hell. You couldn’t imagine what it was like for him.
You couldn’t ever imagine having to do the same with your dad...
Your dad hadn’t even asked how you two had gotten outside to see his father and the group, and you were thankful for that. Although you were sure he just forgot, in his efforts of aiding mourning families. Because your dad would never let you have an inch of freedom if he thought it was stupid and risky. He’d have boarded that wall up, and grounded you, and your friends, for a year. Instead, the hidden entry lay unused, too haunted for you, Jason, or your three friends, to purpose again.
You tried to help Jason, tried to be there for him. But things were never the same.
Jason had changed since then. He’d become angry and stoney, a bit like your dad. Versus someone who’d help you find hidden schnapps and beers to share with your friends, and would pull you into cars for late night make out sessions. You did understand his change. Jason wasn’t the... bubbliest, of individuals before his father. He never seemed quite as nice as your friends, but he wasn’t bad. Not at all. But since the incident with his dad, he’d been itching for his first official mission out there.
And while you and your friends weren’t eager, you, at least, were glad to finally be able to help. Beyond learning in school and running small errands, and staying out of trouble, which was what your dad asked most.
You knew Robin was probably the most worried, Steve and Nancy hid it better, but you’d all told Robin it was good to be nervous. That meant she was cautious. She’d be prepared. But all four of you were ready to go outside together, the first time you’d have seen the rest of Hawkins beyond its wall for a couple of years. You four- no, you five, Jason was a part of your circle now, you weren’t sure why you always had to remind yourself of it. You five, and four from the older groups, who had explored before, were setting out. Even those four though were only a few years older. Not much experienced themselves.
Although on the day of, Robin and Steve had been called to help with a semi-emergency. Something technical had occurred in the water mill that powered your ‘town’, and as a couple of close by workers panicked at the sudden explosion of streetlights above them - you swore your dad would jail people for panicking if he could - they’d accidentally released the horse’s stable doors. Robin and Steve had been singled out quickly by a guard, asked to go round the horses up while other adults who were at a much higher level of importance than you guys, sorted out the generator.
Steve had worried you’d be two short, wanting to come help, and Robin had slightly complained about not being able to all leave for the first time as a group, like you’d always planned. But you and Nancy assured them you’d all be fine, go catch the horses. You two both shared a giggle as they ran after the same horse, barrelling easily past them, but Jason had just exasperatedly sighed after them, marching closer to your side now Robin had gone. We don’t even need them. We’ve trained for a year for this. I can protect you both with my bear hands.”
Jason hardly ever joked anymore, but that didn’t mean he wasn’t obnoxious. Showing off his gun that he was holding wrong. You moved his finger off of the trigger, considering his safety wasn’t on and you were walking down the street of the commune, before dropping your hand off of his. Instead turning to your remaining best friend, and slipping your opposite hand into Nancy’s.
She raised her shoulders with a smile at you, her confidence either real, or being as good an act as your own, as you three, and four extra, walked towards the massive gates your dad had sworn you away from every single day you’d lived here. You kept hold of Nancy’s hand, your other on the strap containing your rifle, as your dad got closer. You wished he’d at least give you a smile, a reassuring word or two to you for your first mission. But he did give a nod. And he did look at you as he started his speech.
“Thank you all for being here today.” Hopper started, still only looking into your eyes, as he addressed everyone. “I want to thank you all for your courage, especially those who’re venturing outside our town for the first time since this plague.”
Now your dad gave your shoulder a squeeze. It was just before he moved on from talking only to you, to speaking to everyone. You gave Nancy’s hand one more squeeze yourself, before exhaling quietly and dropping it.
“You already know your mission is to collect whatever you can from Hawkins Hospital, but the items on the list y/n and Shaun have, are the essentials we need most. Antibiotics, clean needles, and salbutamol for the inhalers, are what we basically have dogshit of now. But anything you can find on the list, or anything you know we’ll need, stuff inside your packs.”
You watched from your peripheral as Jason readjusted the straps on his backpack. They were basically empty, sicne the mission would be less than a day. Some water, basic first aid in case a non bite related injury occurred, two people with item lists, two others who were trusted, Nancy and Frank, with maps. And most importantly, bullets. Boxes were stuffed in everyone packs, with guns in holsters or being held by straps, and you and Nancy with a knife each. Although she was a hell of a shot, so you’re sure she wouldn’t need it.
Your dad continued, an air of real seriousness intensifying now. “But first, a word of caution.” Another look straight to you, before darkening on everyone. “Zombies are not like us. They don’t think. They don’t bleed. They don’t feel.”
You’d heard this a thousand times. This information was solid in everyone’s heads who still had a functioning brain inside. “They may look human, but they are uncaring, violent, savage monsters. Whether they were your best friend, your mother, your sister, that person is gone. Zombies aren’t like you or I. There’s nothing that makes them human, that makes them feeling, still inside. They are hungry, they are apathetic, and they are murderers. They will rip you apart with their bear teeth, the second they get a smell of you. So don’t let them close enough to do so.”
You stood firm as your dads blue eyes bore straight into yours. Watching his expression almost seem human, like he claimed he was, as he saw you understood. “You shoot to kill. On sight.”
“Straight in the head.” Jason boasted, your dad flicking his eyes towards him. Although he didn’t say anything. Just gave you one more look, before he checked with Shaun about final plans.
It at least gave you a second with Nancy and Jason, moving into a closer circle as you asked him a question. “You think we’re going to this hospital to help with a cure?”
Jason narrowly avoided rolling his eyes at you, but he did speak directly. “I don’t believe in a cure anymore y/n.”
Nancy bit down on her lip. You moved to face the door again. If he’d at least said it remorsefully, defeately, you would’ve at least felt bad. Wanted to talk about it more. But he said it like he was one of those men in power who didn’t think anything would ever change, and was happy sticking to the kill everything and just survive style, because living was too much trouble. That kind of person. Well you weren’t that. You never wanted to be that.
You candidly took Jason’s hand in yours, turning to Nancy to speak words of encouragement as you gave him that comfort. But instead, Jason shook your hand off, pointing back towards your dad who he was trying to listen to, as reasoning.
Jason was spun around to take in the conversation about the same non useful information of just “do what you were trained to and you’ll be fine”. Meanwhile your eyes were square on his face. You could still study him, from his angled body. Still take in his face, trying to figure him out like you always seemed to be doing now. Looking at him, as if it may be the last time, since it was your first leaving.
Meanwhile he clearly wasn’t thinking of you at all. At least, that’s what it seemed like. More focused on the whole ‘nothing can touch me’ confidence he was clearly brimming with, as he paid strained attention to your dads every word. Versus actually worrying about you, since things didn’t always go according to plan. You know what your dad says, but maybe you want someone who thinks more with their heart than with their brains, in this world.
At least you and Nancy had each other. Hugging fully and squeezing tight, she playfully tugged on your hair as her arms wrapped around your neck, and you giggled while yanking some of hers back. Like it was the last time you’d get to to mess with each other’s hair. Get to smile at each other as just best friends. Not as comrades in arms. No matter what happened, if you both came back, you could both be changed.
Your dad stopped his little meeting now. Stepping towards the huddle of fresh volunteers, and, with a quick pat to Nancy’s shoulder, he looked only at you. No goodbyes for Jason.
“Hey, kid, listen.”
“I know I know. Stick to the plan, don’t get bit or killed.” You gave a meek smile, but you grumbled your words.
Hopper shook his head “No listen. Just... stay safe. Don’t take any stupid risks, if you need to retreat...”
It was still advice. But it made your heart beat quicker.
Hopper sighed wistfully. “Just come back safe. Okay, sweetheart?”
You didn’t feel more scared, at your dad showing emotion, nearly showing vulnerability. It only made you proud, not in yourself, but of him.
He laid his hand on your shoulder, then once more on Nancy’s. “Both of you, you hear me? These items aren’t as important as you two, just do what you can, and get home.” His face barely changed, but his words stayed clear very purposefully, head bouncing between the two girls he’d watched grow up. Between Nancy Wheeler, and his daughter. “You keep each other safe. Especially with the others dropped from your team today.”
“Yes Chief.” Nancy nodded, gently holding your elbow.
“Yes dad.” You took in a shaky breath, before leaning to hug him. The one thing your dad didn’t disappoint you in - not as a leader, he did a good job at that, but as your dad, was that he still hugged you back straight away. Just like he did when you were a kid. When the world was safe. “Bye dad.” You mumbled, your rifle caught between both your sides.
“Bye y/n.” He responded, pulling back, and, while still not smiling at you, at least nodding, before giving Jason one as well.
Who seemed to beam under the acknowledgment.
You didn’t notice him now moving to slink his arm around you, because you and Nancy were focused on linking your arms with each other’s, stepping towards the gates as your free hands found your pistols.
Jason bristled by your side at the show up in front of your dad, but he was soon raising his rifle, as all seven of you, and the three guards behind, lifted your guns while the doors opened.
Nothing. Nothing but the outside of your wall, and spike traps on the sidewalks was there. The four volunteers coming to help the three rookies still kept their guns closer by, half raised, but you, Jason, and Nancy gawked, at the ruins of buildings right in your eyesight. The graffiti covering the walls so close, yet out of reach for you. And the grass, growing through the cracks of the pavement, even though nothing living must have been near for years.
You kept your arm linked with Nancy, as you three lead the front, and an awed smile crept it’s way onto your fresh face.
“Awesome.”
You all managed to get into the hospital with ease. No zombies to speak of. One actual corpse on the way, half buried in a car window, but it wasn’t like you guys hadn’t seen bodies at this point in your lives.
The walk took hours, so you weren’t surprised by the time you all got to the first room stuffed with medical supplies, two members of your group sat on the floor to just have a chat with each other.
You couldn’t deny, the feeling of success from actually being here, did wonders for the adrenaline in your blood, as well as your spirit. You, Nancy and Jason cheered when you broke the lock of the first cabinet, enabling Nancy to stuff shelves on penicillin in her backpack. And there was plenty more to go!
You slapped Jason’s arm when he attempted to smash a glass cabinet open, telling him you should probably try to stay quiet, but the feeling of pride didn’t let either of you sour over it, him smirking at you before grabbing some painkillers.
Nancy hissed for you, making you stalk over to her, curious from the smile on her face. Only to flip her off as she chucked a box of viagra into your hands. You threw it back at her head, before she tilted it at Jason’s back, with a comedically disapproving look at him. You knew Nancy wasn’t the biggest fan of Jason. Neither of your trio of best friends were. They didn’t hate him. You guys even had some alright times together, before his dad. Which none of you could really blame him for. And he wasn’t a bad guy. They’d just all told you the same thing. And not just as lifelong friends, but as a fact they really wanted you to understand. ‘You could do better.’
You threw a roll of surgical tape at Nancy, that she stuffed in her pocket, both of you sharing a giggle as you bent by the drawers, than lined every row of the room. Above the drawers, were the glass cabinets. Two columns of them, with several rows in the medium sized room. A couple of desks lining the final column.
Right as you were bending down, Nancy snapped straight. “Did you hear that?”
Everyone in the room fell silent. The four in front of you, who were supposed to be helping train you but had never even encountered zombies on their missions, just stiffened. Nancy’s hand resting on her shotgun on the table, while you stood slowly, finally seeing the wide white look in her eyes.
You hadn’t. But you trusted her. “We should go now.” You decided easily, Nancy nodding at you as she picked up her gun and headed towards you, near the back exit.
But Jason didn’t even flinch.
“Nope.” He popped the ‘p’, continuing opening and closing drawers, three of the other four wearily following his own movements. “Have you seen the reports on how much medicine we’re getting through each month?” He didn’t look at you, just kept digging around.
God that drawer was noisy. Your teeth clenched. “We should keep our asses safe versus-“
“Don’t be a coward.” Jason interrupted you, being assertive. He just came across as toxic. “We’ve got our guns.” He lifted his pistol to show you, making you blink furiously at the way he was handling this. You looked around at the people who ‘had guns’, the four of them back to just dicking about. Nancy only waiting for you to do something. You looked back at Jason. He smiled. “Those things are stupid brainless mutts.”
“They were people.” Nancy defended, always hating his brashness and entitlement. Especially as he snipped back at her. “I know Nance. ‘Were’.”
He turned back to his task. You walking to Nancy to give her an incredulous look, and to also stick close by her.
’Were, Nance!’ Nancy mocked to you, making you chuckle breathlessly as you went to reach another drawer.
This time, the thud was clear.
“I definitely heard something.” Nancy set her sawed off shotgun in position, as you grabbed your rifle from your shoulder. You and Nancy were near the penultimate row, with Jason behind you, and the four others in front. You should all just run for the back now, with your weapons ready.
But before you could silently order everyone that way, Jason stepped in front of you. And he kept walking.
Jason was slowly heading towards the door. Right where the noises were coming from. You could tell he was spooked. But so were you! Especially because he just kept going!!!
“Jason!” You hiss whispered, him looking back at you, stupidly, instead of the door with glass, in front. “We should definitely retreat now.” You urged, heart racing as your dads words echoed in your ears. So much you were scared you wouldn’t hear any thuds in front of or behind you.
“I’m just checking it out.” Jason whispered back, not quite as quiet. Getting to the front of the line, being the closest to the door and looking through the glass in the top half. Pistol in his hand, but not raised... before he exhaled. Turning around with a smile. “See? You’re just being paranoid-“
*BOOM*
Nancy shot a round right above Jason’s head. Straight through the glass of the door, where a herd of the undead were coming through. About the exact same amount of bodies you guys had.
You immediately knelt on the floor, half sheltered behind the drawers, as you snapped your safety off.
Eddie could sniff the living flesh from outside this buildings doors. Jeff hadn’t needed words to communicate, but being closest, he inhaled first, causing the others to quickly follow along. Eddie smiled the slightest at Gareth and Jeff, before they all meandered inside the buildings doors. He hated that it was a mean smile. But instincts were strong now he was hunting, and there was little time for humanity. Except for the humans themselves.
They followed the very strong scent now, as well as the noises, upstairs, until they rounded a corner, and they could spot their first human through the door.
A bullet burst through Gareth’s chest, brown blood just barely oozing in the wound, and a growl rose from his throat. Gareth kicked the door wide open, and the pack was released.
Eddie was growling now too. A wild sound, as the others ran for the humans left and right, Jeff barging forwards with Gareth, but knocking Eddie over in the process.
He strained his hands against the cold marble floor, lifting himself onto his elbow with ease, a snarl on his face. And that was when he saw you.
Eddie’s face dropped. His expression smoothed and expressively awed. As his eyes dilated, honed in on you. Bullets rang out like faint bells around him, as one of his favourite Chicago records span on repeat in his brain ‘I don’t wanna live without your love.’ There you were, twisting out from behind your cover. A rifle on your shoulder, pressing into your fleshy, warm, cheek. Soft, and squishy, against the pull back of your gun. Your eyes were sharp. More focused, more determined than anything Eddie had ever seen. Your pink lips, so full of life, just barely brushed against your gun, but you were silent. No screams of rage, just thought, and strength, and confidence, as your gun pushed back and forth against your shoulder, your body keeping straight with its vitality, while your pretty eyes focused on his surrounding comrades. Pretty...
Your hand expertly pulled back and forth on a mechanic hook, golden shell casings flying around your hair, that Eddie now noticed. The sun hitting it perfectly, from the glass shelves above you, and Eddie had never felt thankful for shelves before. Your hair cascaded around your head, being flipped away with ease, to show off more of your face. So full of life. So... so you. Eddie didn’t know you. But you were you. You were different. You were devastating, and you were enchanting.
Nothing else rang through Eddie. Not the screams of humans. Not the smell of flesh. Not the others. Not his friends. Not the zombie behind him getting shot, apart from the fact you were the one who aimed that way. Everything was slow. Everything was exactly what Eddie had needed, since the moment he’d come into being. And Eddie was stuck on you. You were the only thing. You were somehow Eddie’s everything.
Eddie’s eyes widened, almost looking like they had life in them, some sparkle as he rested where he was, just watching you. His tongue darted out, poking on his bottom lip, fully entranced by you.
You pulled back that pin, and no more gold flew to shower your being. Your face remained the same. Lips together, eyes so so bright, and your look captivating. You remained this way, as you dodged behind the drawers, and right out of Eddie’s view.
Something inside of Eddie sunk. And he panicked as you moved away.
His eyes widened, still feeling slow and sludgy, way more than his usual pale body did, as he pushed against the floor and frenziedly got onto his feet. Cold lurched up into his throat at your new absence, like a hole. Pushing his hands off the cold floor to stand up, slow, readjusting legs, carrying him as he groaned, not a noise of apathy, but more like an echoed whimper, hand outstretching for you as he stumbled quickly over to you. Unsteady on his own feet he’d just gotten used to, his song still playing in his thoughts. Shuffling closer to your row, to come find you again.
That’s when the first shot rang clear, not blurred by his ears or shut out by his brain. But loud, as a bullet forced itself into his shoulder, and shoved him back.
Anger overtook Eddie, as he looked up to the blonde man standing on top of a desk and smiling at him. Bouncing on his two, much more coordinated, feet. Eddie’s instincts made everything much clearer again. Like the cacophony of meat. Wet, sticky, hot, meat.
Eddie’s head tilted at the blue eyed man.
“Yeah! That’s what you get you fucking frea-!”
His feet were grabbed, yanked by Eddie’s very strong hands, as he slammed the man face first into the table. Losing grip of his gun immediately, and his hands panickedly scraping for the end of the desk. Eddie dragged him once, and he immediately fell to the floor right by Eddie’s feet. And he screamed.
The first thing Eddie did, while ripping the man’s arm up as he pulled him close, was to bite his venomous mouth deep into the blonde’s wrist. This way no matter what, he’d at least definitely fuck him over.
Eddie thought that his gold watch was sparkly, like your bullets, as the man screamed in pain and horror. Terrified of the curly haired man above him, teeth and jaw bloody with his own flesh.
Eddie didn’t like this one.
He smashed his once brilliantly smarmy face into the marble ground. Over. And over. And over. He couldn’t feel the pain of the bullet, but he still knew this man tried to hurt him. And it of course, made him pissed.
Luckily for Eddie, this guy’s watch slipped off as Eddie was doing so! He didn’t even think consciously about putting his watch in his ripped jean pocket, he just did it with his easily available left hand, while he tossed around briefly, the thought of eating this man’s brains.
Eddie didn’t really want this guys memories, his thoughts and feelings... But he was also hungry.
With the skull cracked open, Eddie began picking the best food source out of him, stuffing it into his drooling bloody red lips, the only way they could be as colourful as your living ones, hunger the one thing on his mind as he finally started to chew down.
As an older blonde haired man sat opposite this guy, Jason, on the seesaw, Eddie relished in the extra burst of humanity he briefly got to feel, while his stomach was satiated. His dad got up, Eddie’s view only up to his hips, before the smiling father lifted them, Eddie and Jason, higher and higher, closer to his height.
Eddie couldn’t hear his own groan of content he was making. Instead he was watching Jason’s hands score a basket, lowered clearly for kids. Other nine, maybe ten year olds, friends Eddie soon knew the names of, coming to celebrate around Eddie, who was feeling the rush, the pride, the genuine joy, of throwing that ball into that hoop.
A barely teen was punching Jason. Eddie felt the pain in his nose. Then he felt it in his fist, as Jason punched the red headed fourteen year old back.
Then Eddie saw hair he recognised. It was the back of your head. Y/n... He knew your name now. You had the prettiest name he’d ever heard in his ears. You turned back to look at Eddie. His heart skipped a beat. And then, your face smiled.
Eddie could decipher between the two men’s emotions, even enhanced by the former. Eddie felt like he was soaring. He hadn’t seen you smile before.
Another flash was before him, and this time, your face was closer. The classroom swapped for posters on the walls and a lamp. But you weren’t smiling. You looked nervous.
“And... well, you?” A nervous laugh left Jason/Eddie’s lips as well. Eddie could feel his heart pounding, he didn’t really remember what that feeling was like, but he was mesmerised by your face. Slowly, easing into another smile. This one full of exhilaration, of joy, of love Eddie/Jason thought. “I love you too!” You exclaimed. Eddie couldn’t even decipher his own feelings then, too caught off guard by the image of you leaning forward. Until you two weren’t in your bedroom anymore. You were both on a football field.
“I think we can be whatever we want to be. Fuck what they think.” You said, laying down with your arms beneath your head, and your chin tilted towards Eddie’s eyes. A hand shot out, gently brushing a lock of hair away from the hem of your sleeve, against the plush of your arm, and Eddie was uspet he couldn’t physically feel that. “Maybe.” Jason’s voice responded. “Maybe I don’t care what we do, who we are. As long as I’m still with you.”
You snorted. Eddie wanted to moan delightfully at the happy sound, but Jason just chuckled instead. Watching as you slid up onto the palm of your hand, and leant above him.
“Jason?” You asked. And Eddie wished it was his name leaving your lips instead. But then, the brightness of the memory began to flicker, and Eddie felt his tongue grow empty. Your face warped into a terrified look, and you repeated the same question.
“JASON!?”
Eddie shot up, in the lab again. That time was real.
Drool slobbered down Eddie’s chin and between his greedy fingers, twinged pink with blood, as he didn’t care to clean up his slobber.
Instead, he was looking straight up towards you. Your face was different now. Worried, like it was a bit in the tainted memory. You span all the way around, only for Eddie to see your gaze finally focus, away from the desk he and Jason’s corpse were hidden behind.
You were looking at another girl, frizzy haired and short, being pinned to the drawers by one of the zombies Eddie did not know. That determined look slightly covering your fear was enough to get a clear aim. One shot fired from your rifle, and Eddie saw the girl get freed, the other zombie slumping down her legs, and onto the ground.
Eddie actually felt fear now. Not of you, never could Eddie be scared of wonderful you. Fear you’d see what he is, what he’d done...
Quickly he stuffed what he could of the brains into his jacket pocket, fingers not nimble enough to do the leather’s zipper, although he did not care. He had more important things.
Clearly, you’d lost count of your bullets. He saw you staring at a backpack, but it was out of reach, as Gareth was tearing the flesh off a man right in front of it. He saw the panicked look in your face once more, saw you spinning around, and without taking his eyes off of you, Eddie began to move.
The first thing he did was wipe off the blood on his face, self-consciousness striking in his brain as he realised how that may look, and he wanted to look presentable. He didn’t want to scare you. Eddie rose, his eyes fixed on you, an awed look on his pale face once more, as he stumbled towards you.
For the first time, you looked right at Eddie, not through him, but at him. Eddie wasn’t sure he was expressing how this made him feel on the outside. His eyes did widen a little. But he just kept moving. Feeling like his legs were sludgy again. But semi-confident as the room quietened down, with just his friends eating.
Eddie saw fear flash across your face. Before you quickly searched your pockets. He understood why you might be frightened at first, but he kept going, knowing he just needed to let you know-
Eddie looked down as he saw a knife, thrown, and wedged, just below his heart. A saddened expression flickered onto Eddie’s face. Stopping for a moment as his lips turned upside down, while he slowly pulled the knife out. It didn’t hurt, Eddie just felt slightly hurt, a whimper in his throat as the brown blood lightly smeared his shirt, but didn’t flow. The knife clanged to the floor as Eddie casually dropped it, hurt expression slightly lifting, with every step he took closer to you.
You squeaked. And Eddie supposed an instinctual fearful sound was alright, survival wise, if it was quiet. Eddie wouldn’t judge you even if it wasn’t. Eddie would never judge you.
You shuffled to the side near your drawers, backing up, before very quickly hitting it. Now your eyes weren’t leaving Eddie’s either.
Eddie kept walking, your scared expression on your face making Eddie’s lip wobble, as he tried hard to speak. Eyes purposeful on you now, trying to communicate with you. His eyes trying to let you that know he was trying.
Your lips were parted now, a petrified tremble of a sound leaving your throat, as everything flew out your brain, leaving only your racing heart beating the imminent fear around you. Of this thing you’d learned to be scared of, in the form of a curly haired, still brown eyed man. Who was shambling towards you with purpose.
“Yyyy/- y/nnnnn...” Eddie stammered quietly, trying to calm you, with an upturned and open hand. Watching your face pale in confusion at this man knowing your name, this zombie speaking to you.
You slowly slid down against the drawers, Eddie following you, face to face, as he finally got close enough. You both fell to the floor, and Eddie’s eyes squinted.
Your face no longer held horror. Instead, you looked defeated, with a hint of perplexity. Tears fell from your cheeks, and Eddie’s own eyes began to soften. His face fell, spattered with small drops of blood, but genuinely smooth and saddened, his eyebrows raised in slight hope, his lips opening and closing with effort. “Yyyyy/nnnn.” He tried again.
You were more confused. But also more scared. Now at least you realised it was no accident, no one final word. He... the man who looked like you shot his puppy, who was gently kneeling down near you as you started to cry, was trying to talk to you.
You didn’t sob. You couldn’t. But a few tears still ran hot down your cheeks. Eddie’s index finger, clean, pale, and adorning a dirtied silver ring, slowly, and trembling, began to raise up. If it’d been his whole hand, you’d have been terrified, but his singular finger made you aghast. Especially as, when you screwed your eyes closed, you felt the cold, but calloused flesh, touch your cheek so gently. Eddie’s finger brushed down your cheek, lingering a little at your chin, as he clearly wasn’t super coordinated. You opened your eyes, to check if this was actually happening.
When you did, the zombies paler brown eyes were fixated on your wet streak, eyebrows scrunched almost... almost forlornly, at your tears. When his eyes shot back up to your own you hiccuped, leaning further back into the drawers as best you could. But you stayed deathly still, as his finger gained closer again. The man was still shaking, so it worried you more when his finger came close to your eye, but he was precise. It was like he was focused. His finger very very gently found the waterline of your eyelid, and so so carefully, it dipped slightly into it. Almost pulling, but extremely delicately. Soaking away your tear, as you stared awestruck, in disbelief, and worried about your eyes, while this sad looking man, felt the drop of your tear accumulate quickly from your eyelid, onto his finger, streaking down it. And you swore you heard the zombie gasp.
He studied his damped finger, before brushing it down the apple of your cheek and away.
Suddenly, Jeff started upwards, bringing both yours and Eddie’s heads, who were hidden in your position, straight to the bloody jawed zombie. The other three survivors near him, raising slower, but all of them beginning to sniff the air.
Your heart thunked in dread, but you didn’t get much time to look at them, as Eddie close by your head, swung back to look at you. He held a similar dread to your own.
Eddie whimpered, for you. His mouth gaped open, jaw slack, and eyes bugged. His eyes scared. You whimpered too. He knew the others wouldn’t understand. But he had to keep you safe.
Eddie placed his hand some inches away from your head, against the wall of drawers, trapping you in his little pile with him. You didn’t whimper, you were too scared of the others, but a wave of angst did hit at the finality of being sealed in with him.
Whatever he was doing with you.
An idea quickly formed in his mind, and Eddie drew his bloodied hand to the knife wound in his chest, circling the hole of brown blood that stayed in place. Until Eddie dug his fingers around a little. Scooping up the blood, with a caring expression, Eddie gently went to smear his blood onto your skin.
Your face twisted back in a grimace. Too scared to move away, too frightened of this monster. You had no idea what he was doing, but you felt a gross pit of defeat, as you held your breath, and felt his fingers once again caress your cheek. This time, grimy and bloodied with that awful colour.
Eddie traced his bloody fingers down your apple, and the indent of your nose, letting his heavy hand fall, with grace, sweetly down your chin, his fingers drawing down the side of your neck, dragging tenderly to your collarbone, where he pulled them back.
His eyes stayed tracking the smear of him marking you. Making you bite your lip more with fear, as he simply focused on his task.
Once again, Eddies hand gently rubbed down your face, repeating the process of covering you with his blood. Stopping on your neck this time, before he finished.
No grunt of approval. Nothing. Eddie’s eyes were transfixed on where your neck met your shoulder, his stopping point.
You didn’t move. You were too scared to. You just sat there, staring forwards, too frightened to look at what you knew was a monster, as he slowly, began to lean in.
You didn’t swallow. You didn’t think about your dead friends. You didn’t think about the other zombies. You just sat there, breathing shallowly, as the zombie moved in. Staying still for him, while his hair gently pushed yours out of the way, hovering unsteadily by your neck.
You could hear him sniffing. Small sounds, like an animal, a beast, scenting you. But gentler sniffs, like they weren’t from his frame. The bursts of air against your neck made you shiver. One last small tear escaping your eye, not even feeling the need to cry anymore, body just tingling all over instead. As the tip of his nose gently brushed your jaw, tracing the outline of it as he continued sniffing at your collarbone. Blood dampened with his cold breath on your skin, rippling sensations over the little hairs all over you, including from his dangerous intimacy.
Your eyes managed to move downwards, looking at the mess of hair completely surrounding your side, seeing the look of focus in his eyes, as his nose continued softly creasing, in times with the tufts of his air he was laying upon your sticky neck.
Eventually, the zombie began to pull back, clearly satisfied with his scenting or marking of you, whatever he was doing. His soft nose bumped against the side of your neck as he shakily moved backwards. And your eyes blinked in shock to find the smallest of smiles on his face, even reaching his brown eyes.
“S-Sssafe...” Eddie smiled, feeling encouraged at the fact you smelled of him. You smelled of all of them. Like one of them. The others wouldn’t hurt you now, not if he kept you close by. He could keep you near him, while his blood on you was still there, and then he could take you home! Where you’d be safe with him!
Eddie’s smile widnened a little further, at the knowledge he was able to communicate that you were safe now with him! At least, he presumed you understood him, by the way your head tilted in slight disbelief. Your eyes holding his so beautifully... he swore he could read them forever.
“W-What?” You asked, barely above a whisper. Too in shock to even comprehend was was going on.
“Come nowww...” Eddie spoke gently, his hands taking both edges of the sleeves of your jacket, and helping pulling you up.
He was happy that this would work.
You were too shocked to stop him from pulling you. Trembling, as he brought you close behind him.
Eddie was still smiling, more gleeful than he’d ever felt in his entire un-life, as he brought you to his side, the others walking ahead of him as they’d only smelt the overpowering scent of their own blood.
Gareth walked slightly faster to be in line with Jeff. More likely, Eddie was just being slower, as he was helping you get on your feet. You were still a little shaky. But you managed again, only a small squeak, nothing loud, as Gareth’s cold arm brushed past your torn jacket sleeve.
You huddled close to Eddie’s side. Not exactly holding him, but not wanting to be anywhere away from him either. Pressing your hip into his, as his body slunk solidly with yours, happy. Eddie moved his hand from your sleeve, tenderly bringing it down, and wrapping his hand around yours. Focused on getting it right, as he moved his digits carefully, being gentle as he pressed his palm into your own.
You were so warm
He held your hand tenderly, but not loosely. Not tight and possessive either. Just secure. It was set sturdily in yours, pressing his fingers against the back of your hand, as he helped lead you forwards.
You were both stumbling, together. You mostly from fear and unsureness, Eddie helping keep you upright and moving, as you two went to join the group of groaning, mindless, zombies.
Eddie being anything but. Content, with a glazed over look that wasn’t apathetic, but pleased, in his eyes, as he looked forward, just ready to get you home.
As your feet crunched on the glass, you managed to look down to find Nancy. Seeing her hiding in the space under the drawers, peeking out at you, with an awful look on her face.
You very subtly shook your head. They hadn’t noticed her. And you and her both knew, it’d only be a suicide mission if she came out now. You tried to get one last look at Nancy, one last look at home. Before your best friend, with tears in her eyes, held her hand to her mouth and nose to stop herself from breathing too shakily, and watched as you were walked away, past her field of view.
You just had to look forward. You couldn’t risk giving Nancy away. Even the zombie holding your hand clearly had no cares in the world to check any of his surroundings behind him. He was still smiling.
You looked at him in terror, and wonder. Questions couldn’t fill your mind, it was just racing with the knowledge you had to follow him, to survive. You had no weapons on you, no backpack, nothing. You just had his hand in yours, and clearly he was willing to be some kind of shield for you. You didn’t know why, but you thought, maybe, he’d protect you.
As you got to the stairs, with the sounds of the others a floor below you, the curly haired man turned to look at you again.
A noise like a question left his thick lips. It was a sort of high moan, but very clearly the sound of him asking something. Your gritted teeth parted to take a rocky breath, staring at the crooked steps you’d taken up here an apparent lifetime ago.
Understanding him, but not speaking, you took the first step down.
Eddie kept hold of your hand, wanting to help you because you were still shaking, but you both made it down the stairs with no problems.
You two were still slow, Eddie didn’t want to give you away by moving too fast when not on a hunt, and he didn’t want to trip you, considering you were walking a little funny. But he managed to walk well enough to rejoin the group. A little space between you two and the others, at the back. You smelled a lot like Eddie though. Making him pleased with his good work.
You clung to Eddie’s side once again, not letting him go as you hid slightly into his dirtied leather jacket. And Eddie felt something swell within him. Almost beaming. He continued to look forward, thinking about how the sun had looked in your hair again, and thinking about you. He groaned happily, holding your hand closer to his body. Keeping you safe.
You stayed close to the one who’d... who’d done something, with you. You didn’t want to upset him. You didn’t want to alert the others. You had no idea why he’d covered for you. Or why he was holding your hand. What you did know though, was that you were going somewhere with him...

🗣️Eddie Munson Fic Recs
This is gonna have a sappy start before I get into the fic rec portion: but I just wanted to say that at the end of May 2022, I was finishing up my first year of law school. It was rough, challenging, lonely, and basically everything you’d expect and I was in a bad place and the fandom I’d been in was slowing down just naturally. I truly wish I could remember how I even became aware of Eddie Munson because stranger things wasn’t really on my radar anymore and whoever I followed at the time that started to veer off into Eddie-mania, thank you. In the two years since then, I’ve graduated and become the worlds babiest lawyer and I genuinely owe a lot to this fandom and community on here for giving me a fun, usually safe, creative place to escape to when it got rough.
I’m just hoping to maybe remind people that there are already an incredible, incredible amount of existing stories to read and talk about that deserve your attention and love if you’re looking to read some Eddie stories. Some of these will be fics I’ve recommended before but I’m going to try my best to pull together writers and fics that I love and think everyone should read in the hopes that someone like me who still scrolls through eddie tags looking for my nightly bedtime story can find something new to them to read! ✨
Previous Fic Rec list here!! some overlap but there’s no such thing as too much hype for these writers
@munson-blurbs I hope it’s ok but I’m linking Bug’s full masterlist here because I have genuinely loved everything she has written. There are blurbs, series, and special events which are all incredible and worth a read! Bug is currently still writing the “Living after Midnight” series which is my current obsession and features rockstar!eddie x motelheiress!reader and it’s angst and lust galore
@corroded-hellfire also sharing the Eddie Masterlist here because there’s so many fics to read!! As You Wish, Big Brown Eyes, Where the Heart Is are all incredible but truly there’s so much here to enjoy
@upsidedownwithsteve SIMMER!! jk I’m actually linking the Eddie Masterlist here too because I love them all but “I Want You To Want Me” and “Simmer” are out of this world
@pinkrelish The Yes Policy I love it, you love it, we all love it and if you haven’t caught up yet oh my god I wish I was you and could read these chapters for the first time again
@ghost-proofbaby I’ve previously told people to go read 24 Hours, and you should, that’s an order; but Maroon is ongoing! and it’s actually infiltrating my every thought so go on over and get caught up bc I think it’s safe to say things are getting amped up
@trashmouth-richie I have also previously recommended Honey, I’m Home because it’s a work of art but Ziggy has a new mini series “Crash + Fall” that I’m completely obsessed with the concept for and I’ve loved every piece so far!
@tiannasfanfic I just reblogged Conviction again but I genuinely am not exaggerating when I say I think about this story and these two monthly and try and find this story all the time to re-read it endlessly. It’s a really lovely story of unplanned pregnancy and two characters not realizing they’ve been smitten for each other the whole time and I love it
@carolmunson I’m sharing another Eddie Masterlist here because I’d be making this post far too long but Carol’s stories are all incredible, complex, and honest. “Let’s go, don’t wait” just got updated and I had to read it like 3 times last night because it was too good to just read one and done
@rebelfell I just discovered Sarah’s blog after reading the most recent “Frenemy” fic and idk what I was doing wrong to not already follow her and not have already read her whole Masterlist but I’m linking the whole thing bc she’s so good!!
@the-au-thor I also only just discovered Elle’s blog and that’s criminal but thank god I found Babysitting Mun because I am a sucker for rockstar!eddie and this series has me on the edge of my seat rn
@storiesbyrhi I’m sharing the Masterlist folks because I have genuinely loved every single story and series and I have read them all now (some several times). So many of Rhi’s stories have a wonderful warm witchy vibe that I crave and I’ve read Siouxsie and the Soulmates, The Cabin in the Woods, Our Patron Saint of the Arts, Vintage Reeboks, and Burning Yarrow (insert screaming fan gif) multiple times now
@heart-eyed-love this fic is the epitome of a soft, cozy, domestic night with Eddie and if you need a hug read this 🥹
@eddieandbird I JUST got caught up on Eddie/Tour Manager series and I’m fully obsessed and desperate to know how they’re gonna navigate this - for folks new to the story, Eddie and his tour manager accidentally drunkenly get married- what could go wrong??
@eiightysixbaby the scream I scrumped when I finished reading Princess Leia, and Other Wishes - look bffs to lovers is already my absolute weakness on this earth but then you had to make it witty and funny and FLUFFY I just can do nothing but re-read and pine
@superblysubpar I’m still obsessed with this addition to The Boy is Mine writing challenge and oh god it’s so good 😩
…and while we’re talking about it - here’s the entire The Boy is Mine masterlist with an INSANE amount of incredible stories to read
@the-unforgivenn !!! tumblr hates me and deleted this bullet (so if you already saw this post, no you didn’t) but And I Need You to Know is a proper novel! I can’t imagine how much time, love, effort, planning, and work went into creating this insane and absolutely incredible world but everyone needs to read this!! and then follow up with She’s So Cold bc I love it and I am so reader
~~ this is not the end nor an exhaustive list! I just wanted to put something out there now that I plan to build on because I know I’m always scrolling and searching for new things to read or old things to revisit ♥️ ~~

Inescapable: Letters (Steddie X You)
A/N: I give you treat my dear friends. A glimpse into inmate Steddie. I'm going to write a full story but for some reason the idea of them writing back and forth burned into my brain. Think of this as a prequel so to speak.
Enjoy!
Warnings: Older (Early 30s) Prisoner Steddie & Young (Early 20s) Fem college student Y/N, Everything is in letter format. Mentions of smut, some dirty talk, angst (because I'm me), both men were convicted even though they are innocent, near the end we get some glimpses of toxic behavior, Jealous Steddie <3, cliffhanger esc ending.
Word Count: 2918
"You can build a prison of stone and steel, but you merely present the prisoner with a challenge. Any truly determined man will find a way out but love, love is the perfect prison. Inescapable."-- Wilson Fisk (Daredevil)
July 1996
Mr. Munson and Mr. Harrington,
I know you don’t know me but my name is Y/N Y/L/N and I’m a student here at Hawkins University. I’m supposed to be doing a project for my criminal justice class and with your permission I’d like to do it on you.
I’m working towards getting my law degree and so many kids in my class are doing theirs on people like Bundy or Gacy. How does that help teach them? I’ve done research on your case and I feel like you both are innocent. Add in the fact that the judge wanted to make “an example” out of you two… it’s ridiculous.
Neither of you had a prior history of violence and Mr. Harrington, your parents are prominent members of Hawkins! UGH! I just don’t get it.
Sorry. I went off on a bit of a tangent there… I just hate how you both were treated.
If you don’t want me to utilize your case for my class I’ll completely understand. If you don’t respond I’ll take that as a no as well.
Thank you,
--Y/N.

July 1996,
Sweetheart,
You have no idea how good it made us feel to have someone reach out to us, let alone agree that we are innocent. Society forgot about us a while ago but thankfully Steve and I have each other.
And now you we hope : ).
We have no problem with you doing your project on our case. What do you need from us? Details I imagine but what else? Are we allowed to know more about you? We know your name is Y/N, you’re a law student, and judging by the intoxicating scent that wafted when we opened your letter you smell really fucking good.
Please feel free to be open with us. We’re nice guys we swear.
-Eddie
Y/N,
I hope Eddie didn’t come off too strong with his letter. I told him we need to be respectful but like he said people kind of forgot about us. It’s nice to feel appreciated.
We have no problem with you using us on your project and you don’t have to tell us anything you don’t want to. I understand that talking to someone in our circumstances can be a bit scary especially for a young lady like you.
Are you only going to be speaking with us or do you need to talk to our families to? My parents gave up on me after I was found guilty so they probably won’t be much help. Eddie’s uncle Wayne Munson is a nice guy. You can tell him we sent you and he’ll answer your questions. We also have some friends people who were around the time we were arrested who can help to.
We look forward to hearing from you,
-Steve
P.S. You can call us Steve and Eddie. We already feel old enough : )

July 1996
Eddie & Steve,
Thank you so much! You have no idea how important this is to me. I don’t just want to do this for my class but I’d like to use this case for my graduation project as well. But we don’t have to think about that now. I barely like to think that far ahead so I use the excuse of that is two years away.
Eddie didn’t come on too strong : ).
I AM a law student and a sophomore at Hawkins U. I’ll be 21 in a few months so I can finally move up to being a bartender at the restaurant I work at. College is expensive but soon it will be worth it. I’m attaching a picture with the letter just so you have an image of who you’re talking to.
Growing up I heard all about you two. Hawkins High used to have your Hellfire Club, Eddie, but they disbanded it a couple of years before I graduated. The parents said they didn’t think it was right for their kids to belong to a club created by someone such as yourself. Since Dustin Henderson wasn’t there to advocate for you guys anymore…
I don’t have to reach out or talk to anyone you don’t want me to. I know most of the people involved in your case aren’t even in Hawkins anymore.
I’m so sorry. It must be hard having everyone you know disappear.
My parents aren’t exactly fans of my chosen profession. My mom hates lawyers since her divorce lawyer wasn’t able to get her more alimony from my father and my dad is cop so enough said hahaha!
I’ve been with my boyfriend for a few months. He’s a film major and keeps begging me to allow him to do an interview with you two. I keep telling him no. You’re people not circus animals.
Let’s start with you two telling me whatever makes you comfortable in regard to your case!
-Y/N

December 1996,
Sweetheart,
Merry Christmas!
Did Wayne give you the presents we bought you? My uncle said it’s important for college girls especially soon to be lawyers to have tape recorders. I’d love to hear if you liked it and if you can use it in your classes.
It’s been a couple of days since you called. I hope everything is alright. We miss the sound of your voice…
Y/N, I know I can come off a bit forward but I hope I didn’t scare you away by talking to you the way I did during our last conversation. I can’t help it, you know? You’re just so gorgeous and you’ve been so good to us that my brain promptly goes into flirtation mode.
Anyway, yeah, I want to hear how your Christmas went and if Derek’s family was good to you.
-Eddie
Honey,
Merry Christmas!
Ed forgot to mention that we did get your gifts and are incredibly thankful for the books. Since I was arrested I’ve opened my mind when it comes to reading and Munson’s fantasy books at least take me away mentally to a different world.
He’s right by the way… you are incredibly beautiful.
Would you be open to seeing us in person?
Just a nice friendly visit where we can talk about your project and get to know you more.
If not we completely understand.
-Steve

Eddie & Steve,
I’m sorry I haven’t come by or answered the phone. After our last visit, I just…
I love Derek but I care about you both so much. When you kissed me We have to keep this professional. Not just because of my boyfriend but because I’m studying to be a lawyer. How would it look if I fell in love started a relationship with inmates I’m working with?
Please understand.
-Y/N

February 1997
Sweetheart,
We understand but you have to also understand that we’ve never met anyone like you. You’re so kind and beautiful. You listen to what we have to say and actually care about us. I can still feel your lips against mine and nothing in my life has ever tasted as sweet.
Can you still feel me, princess?
For the first time in almost 11 years, I actually have some hope.
Does he make you feel like we do, honey? Your heavy breath against my mouth when I kissed you tells me no. I know we’re trapped here for the next 14 years but, baby, we can still take care of you. We just have to be a bit imaginative with certain things but….
No one has to know, baby, not even Derek.
-Steve & Eddie
#######################
February 1997
Baby,
Fuck, sweetheart, you have no idea how hearing you touch yourself over the phone got us going. If we could have private phones we would have stroked our cocks for you so you could hear how much you turn us on.
I can still hear your heavy pants in my ear while you fucked your fingers.
I’m playing with myself right now at the thought of how tight that young little pussy is. Fuck… picturing those sexy hips slam against me as you ride my dick. Do you like it rough or nice and slow? Delicate, just like you, pretty girl.
Shit. I just came so hard.
Would you let Steve and I fill you up? Make you really ours?
I wish we could fall asleep with you between us. I’d give anything to hold you in my arms and play with your hair.
Can’t wait to see you again, princess.
-Eddie.

April 1997
Honey,
How did your test go for your class? I’m sorry we weren’t more helpful but I’m glad you brought your stuff to show us what you’ve been working on. It makes us so happy to see you working so hard and achieving your dreams. You deserve all the good things in this world.
I’ve been thinking about you since we last saw you. Aren’t you glad now you wore that sexy skirt?
God, I can still smell you on my fingers. I loved feeling you cling to my arm as I thrust them into your tight little cunt. We have to work on silencing those moans a bit more : ).
I keep having dreams about your pretty mouth wrapped around my cock just looking up at me with those big, beautiful eyes while I fuck your throat.
Do you think about us? Tell us all your fantasies, baby.
We love you.
-Steve

April 1997
Eddie & Steve,
You are such bad boys, you know that? I like it though…
Sometimes when I’m writing to you, Derek will walk by and I feel naughty but giddy. I’m doing something I definitely shouldn’t be doing. When we have sex, I don’t see him anymore.
I just see you two.
I wish I could take care of you the way you do me. I want to feel you both inside of me, stretching me open. I want to choke on Steve’s cock and ride Eddie till I can’t walk. I want to feel you both cum inside me and make me yours.
I love you to…so much…
I hate to ask this after everything but Derek would like to film you guys for his project. I’ll be there to so you won’t be alone with him and I can use the footage when I start working on my graduation project later down the line.
After everything, if you don’t want to I completely understand.
I’ll call you both tomorrow.
-Y/N
##########################
May 1997
Please,
I’m so sorry! The prison said you aren’t allow visits for the next month after what happened and you aren’t taking my calls.
I didn’t know those were the questions he was going to ask you, I swear.
After the stupid bullshit he pulled, I broke up with him and kicked him out of our apartment.
I know you both are innocent and I don’t feel the same way he does.
I love you so much.
-Y/N
################
May 1997,
Don’t break up with him. He’s right. We’re fucking criminals and—
Y/N,
Eddie is still upset but we do believe that you didn’t know he was going to blind side us. We just needed some time to compose ourselves. The questions Derek asked about those kids, Nancy, and then seeing him kissing you when we walked in just fucking… It was too much.
Add in the fact that he made some points, you know?
By the time, we get out of here we’ll be in our late 40’s essentially starting over. It’s going to be so hard for us to get a job and other things like a house or a car. People will always look down on us for something we didn’t do but they believe we did.
You’re going to be this badass attorney with men your age groveling at your high heeled feet to give you the world.
We’re scared about dragging you down with us. You deserve the world, baby girl.
Just give us a bit more time, ok? During this time, I want you to think about if being with us is the life you really want. Really think about it, Y/N.
We love you to… no matter what.
--Steve & Eddie

August 1997
Eddie & Steve,
I’m sitting in my first class this semester and I am already exhausted. I started my new job at The Hideout and I left at like 3am. I got some good tips though so that will help with tuition. I can also send you guys anything if you need something.
I heard your appeal was denied again.
I’m so sorry.
With cases like yours, it’s so hard to get those pushed through and approved.
I’m thinking about you two every minute. When I crashed, I kept wishing I had your arms around me.
I’ll call you tonight before my shift.
I love you!
-Y/N
########################
August 1997,
Baby,
Yeah, we’re kind of over it now. After so many denials, you just kind of give up trying. It was like that with my dad and his case. Then again he was just a repeat offender and I’m a murderer so.
You didn’t tell us you were working at The Hideout. I used to play my guitar there with my band when I thought I would be a rockstar. I’m not gonna be anything now.
I’m sorry, sweetheart. I guess we’re just a bit low right now.
I wish we could be there with you to. I want to fall asleep to your voice talking to me about everything. I could listen to you talk for hours, babe.
Don’t overwork yourself.
Love you,
--Eddie
Honey,
You never have to worry about sending us anything in here. We make enough money and then Wayne gives Eddie some to get by.
My mom was there at our appeal. It was nice seeing her face again after all this time even though she didn’t talk to me or stick around to meet with me at the prison.
I imagine my father didn’t know she was there.
I agree with Munson, don’t over work yourself.
We miss you.
--Steve

October 1997,
Y/N,
We didn’t mean to scare you, baby, when you came to visit. We just… you were supposed to come visit us last week and you didn’t. You don’t answer when we call.
We get worried.
Please, sweetheart, answer the phone so we can talk.
We love you, pretty girl.
--Eddie
#######################
October 1997,
FUCK YOU!
You don’t get to treat me the way you did when I took time out of my day to come to see you! Steve, you have no right shouting at me and degrading me in front of all your cell block friends. Eddie, you don’t get to grab my wrist and command that I “Lower my voice” when you both are sitting there talking down to me.
The three of us know you weren’t worried about me but fucking jealous I’ve been brushing you off for someone else!
I have shown you both nothing but respect and opened my heart to you from day one!
I’m sorry your both in the situation you are in. I genuinely am but I have given you no reason to think I’d ever hurt you by fucking cheating on you.
I wouldn’t put my career and heart on the line like I have just to fucking throw it away that way.
--Y/N
######################
October 1997
Little girl,
I know you get off on being a bad girl but we swear to God, Y/N. You don’t get to talk to us the way you did during our visit. We understand that you have a busy life but that doesn’t give you the right to not show up or not answer the phone when you say you will.
We may be convicts but we still have feelings.
Telling us to “fuck off” or saying that bratty shit you said like “I’m sorry I’m busy” is not ok.
Respect is earned.
Let’s also not forget, Y/N, that you cheated on your boyfriend with us. It’s not farfetched for us to think you may spread your legs for more tips at the bar you work at.
Don’t play this game with us, princess. You won’t win.
Eddie & Steve
#########################
October 1997
Edward Munson & Steven Harrington,
I always win and I have more self-respect than you both seem to think I do.
We’re done.
--Y/N
#########################
October 1997
Ed and Stev,
I hate you sooooooo much. I fell in love wit you and did things with u I’ve never done with ANYONE! Except fucking obviously : ). I never did get to feel those “big cocks” streting tearing me open. Why is that? Oh yeah…because youre in jail!
I was willing to wait bcause I loved you. I didn’t care if you’d be 40 someting when you got out. You will NEVER find someone like me again.
I’ll move on though. Always do.
Hey check out this cute boy I met. I took a picture of him sucking my neck. I’m not drunk enough to send a video but you can use your imagination.
You’re good at that especially when u r imagining me cheating on you with men like him.
Assholes…

Icarus Part 21
Hey guys!! The story is starting ramp up to the finish line! I hope you guys are still enjoying it as much I enjoyed writing it.
In this we have Steve taking back his agency, Eddie and Jeff having a little chat and Abbadon leaning on his friends.
Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4 Part 5 Part 6 Part 7 Part 8 Part 9 Part 10 Part 11 Part 12 Part 13 Part 14 Part 15 Part 16 Part 17 Part 18 Part 19 Part 20
~
As soon as Abbadon grabbed the mic, the audience knew they were going to be in for a ride.
“Las Vegas!” he roared to the crowd, who roared back. “There seems to be some confusion about how naughty I got with Eddie Munson in Denver.”
The crowd went wild, screaming and jumping up and down.
“I never do anything without prior consent,” he grinned. “I’m a gentleman, until you tell me you want it otherwise.” He winked and the crowd screamed back. “I’m not saying I’m coming for Asmodeus’s job,” Abbadon said, draping himself over his guitarist’s shoulders, “but I’m no innocent. I don’t need protection.” He walked across the stage to Astraeus. “I’ve always been affectionate. But I think it’s time to be put the rumors to bed.”
“Oooooohhhhhh!” Asmodeus and Astraeus shouted and got the crowd to say it with them. Once they were loud enough, Azrael started rapidly tapping his drums to further build up tension.
Just when Abbadon was sure the tension couldn’t stretch much further he said, “I’m not a slut. I’m the slut!” The throng of people roared back. “And I’m not going to hide who I am to make myself palpable to people I’ve never met or no longer have any connection to me. I am Abbadon! I AM THE FALLEN!”
Waiting in the wings was Jeff and Eddie. They had gathered to watch Steve do this in person instead of watching it live in the green room.
Jeff cocked his head to the side and clicked his tongue. “Whatever else you think of Abbadon and the rest of the band, you have to admit the man has charisma.”
Eddie pressed his lips together and nodded. He was proud of Steve. Of course he was, but it did sting a little that it took Shane to get him to talk about it. Not him, Not Robin. Hell, not even Simon, whom Eddie thought was unhealthily close to Steve. Shane. Of all the band members, Shane had the least in common with Steve. Spence had the EMT thing, Simon, the upper class upbringing. Other than them liking metal, they couldn’t be further apart then if God planned it that way.
Shane came from a middle class liberal family with an older sister he was close with. Hell, he even still talked to his parents while Steve definitely did not. He was a giant nerd who loved history and myths. Steve struggled in school and only made it out alive because he was on three sports teams and captains of two of them. Shane even slept around to Steve’s search for ‘the one.’ Which Eddie really, really hoped was him.
But maybe that was it. Maybe the reason Shane could get through to Steve was because they didn’t have much in common. Maybe their connection were their differences. That they were friends in spite of the gap between them.
Eddie almost wanted to get Steve into therapy like Gareth was. Because even though it always seemed to him that Gareth was one drink away from destruction these days, the therapy did appear to be working.
Steve could really use something like that.
They watched the set a little bit longer.
“Are you sure you’re okay with Abbadon flirting with Gareth?” Jeff asked.
Eddie blinked for a moment wondering where the comment was coming from. Because, sure, Gareth had talked non-stop about Abbadon being his favorite member, even going as far as to tattoo Abbadon’s mask on his left bicep. But Gareth didn’t seem interested in Abbadon as a person.
And it wasn’t like Steve was really interested in him that way before or after becoming a rockstar.
“Gareth and Abbadon both say it’s fine,” he murmured after a moment or two. “And I trust Abbadon.”
Jeff hummed thoughtfully. “Yeah okay. So this time it’s not going to be the duet?”
“No, I don’t want a repeat of last time. Abbadon is going to be taking the lead vocals on ‘Might as Well Fly’, I think he’ll lend a haunting quality to it.”
Jeff pursed his lips. Steve definitely had the pipes for it, but it wasn’t the song out of their discography that he would have chosen for Abbadon to shred.
Eddie huffed beside him and crossed his arms in front of him. “Let me guess, you have other ideas?”
“Can Abbadon play guitar?” Jeff asked rubbing his chin thoughtfully.
Eddie shrugged. “I mean, I guess. He’s like able to play piano, violin, and guitar. Can he play the song you’re thinking of is the real question.”
Jeff turned to him with a grin. “Oh, if I know our friend as well as I think I do, he knows it.”
Eddie frowned at him and cocked his head to the side. “Which one?”
Jeff told him and Eddie rubbed his lips, skeptical. It was a good song. Harder than ‘Might as Well Fly’ and faster too. It had an extra guitar to it because it originally featured a famous guitarist. But it was also the lead guitar on that song.
“Do you really think he can do it?” he asked, licking his upper lip slowly.
Jeff scoffed, “Why? Do you think he can’t?” Eddie just shrugged. “Because holy hell, dude, I was talking to Asmodeus and he was telling me they formed their band over their love of our music. I’m betting if you asked Abbadon he could list his favorite albums alphabetically, chronologically, or which one is best musically. Even before you guys got together, before their band, before we even got a record deal, he’s been your number one fan. And he’s got the chops for it. You know he does.”
Eddie looked around to make sure no one had heard Jeff’s impassioned speech. He ducked his head. “Have Abbadon meet us before we go on to discuss the change while they setup our equipment.”
Jeff grinned and licked his lips. “You won’t regret this. And neither will they.” He jutted his chin out at the roaring crowd.
And yeah, Eddie knew he was being ridiculous about the song. He was trying to play this safe, but Steve didn’t need safe right now. He needed to take back his agency and Eddie knew that this song? It was fucking perfect for Steve. They would be able to feed off the roar of the crowd and give Steve a chance to really show them how good he is.
~
Steve loved the idea of the change in song. Don’t get him wrong, he loved ‘Might as Well Fly’. It just wasn’t the vibe he was trying to send today. Steve already was flying. Now he was raging at the people who were trying to clip his wings. And fuck them.
It meant that he couldn’t start on Gareth’s lap, but that was okay. This was going to be better. A hell of a lot better.
He pulled on his Corroded Coffin logo lined coat and swapped his mask for the lighter everyday one. He was going to need the extra movement for these vocals. He started in the middle again, this time in front of Corroded Coffin instead of between them.
“Hey, Las Vegas!” Eddie cried. “You bitches ready to rock?”
The crowd screamed back and Eddie laughed. “We’ve got a treat for you tonight!” The crowd screamed even louder. “We don’t usually play ‘Nightmare Killer’ because we don’t have that third guitarist.”
The audience went wild, screaming and whistling and stomping their feet in excitement.
“We asked Asmodeus,” Eddie continued. “But he’s too cool for us!” The crowd made teasing booing noises and oohhed. “But that’s okay, we found someone else willing to play.”
The room fell to a hush as Abbadon’s spotlight came on. There was some uneasy wrestling from the audience as he stood with his ear mic and white guitar. Something that eagle-eyed fans would know about Eddie and Jeff was that they didn’t own a white guitar. And all The Fallen fans knew that all of Asmodeus’s guitars were red and vaguely devil themed. This wasn’t his either. This was clearly Abbadon’s.
Abbadon began the opening riff and the crowd took a massive intake of breath as he sailed perfectly through the chunky bits of the original artist’s style. Then he began to sing, the haunting quality of his voice filling in the gaps of the silence that seemed to stretch on from the audience.
Eddie didn’t even bother trying to hold back the look of admiration on his face as he joined Abbadon for the chorus. Their vocals mixing beautifully to the backdrop of a hell beast looking for more from life than the violence it was weaned on.
Throughout the song the only sounds from the crowd were clapping in time to the beat. Eddie had never seen anything like at their concerts before. It was like there was this reverence for what was happening on stage.
Abbadon ate it up and played it up as he enticed the members of Corroded Coffin to him. Each of the members resisted. Then Abbadon handed his guitar off to a roadie and climbed the stairs to the platform that Gareth was on. He straddled Gareth’s lap and drumming cut out as his bandmates played on. From behind it looked like they were kissing, but with Abbadon’s mic off they were making fun of each other. Then suddenly he whirled on Gareth’s lap and hit the drums right on the last note with a crash.
Then in an instant the crowd thundered to life, cheering and stomping and clapping.
Abbadon blew Gareth a kiss and leapt off the platform to take his bows. The flutter of the coat revealing the Corroded Coffin logo again and the crowd screamed even louder. He blew kisses to the crowd and continued to bow. Eddie whistled loudly and Abbadon laughed.
Eddie grabbed the microphone. “Abbadon everyone! One very talented son of bitch! Another round of applause everyone!”
The crowd continued to go wild. Abbadon let out a whoop and jumped up and down, laughing. It was exhilarating, everyone just feeding the energy back to Abbadon and just feeling high off that. Eddie and Jeff shared a glance and Jeff winked. Eddie shook his head. Because yeah, Jeff won that bet.
Abbadon waved goodbye and walked off the stage. Once he was out of view of the audience Hopper swooped in and immediately threw a cool, damp towel over his head and Steve nearly sank to his knees in relief. Because try as they might, the hoods were still fucking hot. Hopper lead him to the dressing room where the rests of The Fallen were waiting.
As soon as the door closed tightly behind Abbadon, Steve pushed back the hood and ripped off the mask. His hair was wet and sweat clung to his face and neck. He let himself sink slowly into the soft cushions of the sofa and laid his head back.
A bottled water was being pushed into his hand and an ice pack was placed on his brow. He let out a small shuddering breath. He opened the water and dumped half of it on his face and the rest into his mouth.
“Thanks, guys,” Steve muttered, his eyes fluttering shut. “How did I look out there?”
Simon huffed a little a laugh. “Like fucking rock god.”
“I’m with Simon,” Spence said. “It won’t silence the naysayers but it’ll drown them out which is even better.”
Steve laughed. “Fuck that was so much fun. Gareth called me a queen. So I called him a bitch. I honestly don’t know if he likes Abbadon more now, or less!”
“Considering how little time you had to prepare,” Shane said, sprawled over an armchair instead of on the floor for a change, “I say you kicked ass. You’re going to get people saying you weren’t really playing but, they can suck your dick!”
Steve lifted his head, the ice pack sliding into his hand. “I hate doing this without you guys, though,” he admitted. “But as Shane pointed out, I’m already super affectionate with you already and short of French kissing Simon, they aren’t going to believe shit.”
“Nothing against you, Steve,” Simon said with a wince, “but I really don’t want your tongue down my throat.”
Shane raised his hand. “I volunteer! I volunteer!”
They all laughed. Then Robin as Celeste slipped in and sat next to Steve. She grabbed the ice pack and pressed it to the back of her neck. They all waited as she let her defenses slowly come down. She pulled off the wig and tossed it Spence who caught it deftly.
“Vickie has been working tirelessly tonight to keep an eye on social media,” Robin began, “she even has two of her assistants watching all the accounts, constantly refreshing.”
Steve turned on the couch to face her. “And what are they saying?”
Simon and Spence immediately moved over to her to sit on either side of her and Steve. Shane sprawled over the back like some Renaissance painting. He rustled her hair and she huffed out a laugh.
“You’re getting the trolls from both fans shit talking about how Abbadon is better than Corroded Coffin and should have turned them down like Asmodeus,” she continued, pausing only for Simon’s huff of laughter. “The Corroded Coffin fans were whining about how Abbadon’s vocals ruined the song and that he probably faking the guitar playing for the views.”
“I’d like to see them fake that bridge,” Steve scoffed. “It’s insane.”
Simon nodded. “I don’t think I could do it.” He snapped his fingers. “That’s what I’ll do. I’ll post a Tiktok of me trying to play it.”
“Wait!” Spence said. “Have Steve do it first, showing a close up of the hands dancing on the frets. Then you stitch it with your version. That should kick them in the ass.”
Steve and Simon fist bumped each other. “Hell yeah!”
“But the rest of the tweets and shit coming in is overwhelmingly positive,” Robin finished. “So that Tiktok should silence the Corroded Coffin fans.”
When Simon did his stitch of Steve’s video he made sure to admonish their fans about thinking who’s better than who. He was friends with the boys in CC and the being ‘too cool’ was a fucking joke.
Then Eddie did a stitch of both of their videos and showed them again how complicated the riff was for Abbadon to play by playing it himself. Abbadon and Asmodeus’s videos racked up a lot of views and shares, but Eddie’s really did the numbers. It blew up and completely overshadowed all the haters.
Steve made sure to thank Eddie for that later in the privacy of Eddie’s hotel room.

Eddie Had A Little Lamb (MDNI +18)
Summary: Eddie is trying to be good and with your help, he could be exactly that. But Kas, on the other hand, thrives in all that is unholy and he’ll stop at nothing to bring you and Eddie to the dark side.
Kas!Eddie Munson x Virgin!Religious!Reader
A/N: This is a spicy piece of work. I hope I did this concept justice as this was a request. Please let me know what you guys think since it’s my first time writing kas!eddie. Thank you for reading and please enjoy!
Word Count: 8.7k+
Warnings/Tags: Dub con elements, religious themes, extreme blasphemy, possessive!kas and eddie, innocent!reader, whole big bag of (fluff, smut, angst) mentions of mental health, dom!kas, dom!eddie, use of “daddy” and “master”, corruption/innocence kink, finger sucking, drooling, dumbification, belly bulge, blood kink/drinking, p in v (unprotected), loss of virginity, minor monsterfucking elements, mention of traffic light bdsm system, biting, scratching, face fucking, spit kink, dacryphilia, oral sex (m & f recieving), small breeding kink, creampie, cum eating, doggystyle, overstimulation, multiple orgasms, fingering, use of fox tail butt plug, anal play, reader referred to as “lamb” “bunny” “angel” , some violence, mentions of minor character death/disappearance
There’s a reason why lambs are considered a symbol of innocence. The poor things nary a clue when they’re brought to the offering table, gloriously prepared to be slaughtered for the pleasure of man.
Kas pities you. For that was exactly what you were in his eyes: A poor little lamb. Eddie hadn’t realize that he was currently wrapping you up prettily—with a bow on top—to be presented before the beast. Nonetheless, Kas will happily accept this offering. For now, he will wait. He’ll let you come closer until it’s too late to turn and run.
“Eddie,” You say, taking his hands in yours with a sincere smile. “I’m glad you’ve decided to come to Bible study. What’s brought you here tonight?”
Aside from atoning for my sins, you mean?
“I wanna keep trying with this religion thing. Maybe become a better person. I don’t know if I’ll ever believe in God, to be honest with ya,” He admits. “But I’m hoping to prove everyone wrong about me. I’m more than what’s on the surface.”
Eddie’s consumed with guilt. He’s not been himself lately. A few nights ago, Eddie walked home from Gareth’s home, considering it was not much far from where he live. He was randomly attacked by a rabid bat. Bitten and disoriented, he soon blacked out. When he awoke, he found himself covered blood, the metallic taste in his mouth. Then, the missing reports came in about a missing elderly man. Although Eddie was not certain, he believed to be responsible for the disappearance of that man.
Ever since then, he’s been doing all he could to suppress the appetite and that godforsaken voice. It wasn’t him. It couldn’t be him. He was depraved, sick and twisted! That part of him was so far removed, he had a name for himself: Kas.
Usually, staying awake and alert was one way of stopping this undiscovered being within him. Of course, Eddie couldn’t always stay awake. So the next big thing was to sign up for the local church’s mentorship program in which young adult church members assisted the ‘lost’.
“You’re just misunderstood. Sometimes people are afraid of things they don’t understand,” You smile. “Like you must be terrified coming to a place like this. I’m sure everything you heard today sounded a bit foolish to you. I get that everyone outside the congregation thinks we’re all ‘Jesus freaks’ but we’re all just trying to understand things, ya know.”
“If it’s any consolation, I’ve been called a freak, too. That never stop me from wanting to join the program. Although, I can admit that this bible study thing’s not my style.”
“I’m really happy you did come though. You usually say you’ll come when I invite you but don’t turn up,” You began.
Well, it’s not like he actively tried to avoid. He’d come every day if it meant that he got to look at you. When he was partnered up with you for the mentorship program, it was as if he’s one the lottery. But of course, Kas took a liking to you as well only his desires for you were beyond inappropriate. Kas planned to ruin you. So Eddie avoids you as much as he can all so that he can protect you.
“It’s just really nice to see the effort you make towards this.” You finish, cleaning up the desk of books and placing them on the shelf.
“I get cold feet sometimes,” Eddie explains, stacking the chairs away. “Crowds and events also aren’t my thing. But I figured it would make you happy and since you’ve worked so hard steering me in the right direction…all I can do is try.”
You nod. “So are going to do prayer at your place or mine?”
“Yours, I guess.” Eddie says.
Let her come over to our place, idiot.
No, we’re going to her place that way you won’t be able to try any tricks while her parents are there.
“Oh, umm, I was kinda hoping you’d say your place? I know I suggested mine but my father is little overbearing and I didn’t want to just invite myself to your place.”
“I’m fine if your father’s a little overbearing. My Uncle Wayne was at one point of my life.”
“No, you don’t understand. I love my father but he is ‘spy-level crazy’ overbearing. You’d probably never show up again or would ever like to speak with me either. I would know. It’s happened plenty times before.”
“O-okay. We can do it at my place. Just a little warning, Wayne’s working a late shift so…we’ll be alone.”
“Oh…t-that’s okay. We’ll be on our best behavior.” You laugh nervously.
“Exactly.” He joins in on the awkward laugh.
After cleaning up the church library, the two of you got in his van and head to his home. Eddie’s never been to your home and vice versa but he knew you came from an affluent community. He could only imagine what you must think seeing the trailer park.
“Well, um, this is my home.” Eddie says, holding open the door for you. He’s never self-conscious about showing off his place. Couldn’t give a shit about materialism. But he wanted to impress you.
“It’s lovely,” You smile, having a seat on the couch when you recognized that some pillows and a comforter. “Oh, I’m sorry. Is this where you sleep? I didn’t mean to—“
“Oh no, no. You’re fine. Sit wherever you like. My Uncle actually sleeps there. My room’s down the hall,” He clears his throat. “W-we could go in there and do the session there. T-the prayer session.”
“Yeah, t-that sounds good.” You follow his lead.
Eddie thanks the imaginary man in the sky for reminding him to clean his room today. He nervous shifts on his feet while your eyes scanned the room, smiling.
“Your room’s really cool.” You compliment.
“Really? I’m sure your room way cooler.” And bigger.
You look at his red electric guitar hanging up on the dresser. “Whoa, I’ve never seen it up close before.”
“You’ve seen me play it?”
“Oh yeah, I watched you perform one time. My parents don’t allow me to listen to that kind of music but…my friend and I snuck into a show one time after you put the fliers all over the school. You did really great.”
The lamb’s got a naughty side.
Eddie disregards him. “Thanks. The band and I have been working on those songs for years.”
“I’d like to hear more music like that sometime. All my cassettes are of gospel music.” You say, almost sounding annoyed.
“I can fix you a mixtape of all the songs I like. Then, you could tell me all about the songs you do and don’t like during community service.”
“That would be great! But I’m not sure if I can bring it home with me. I don’t even own my own walkman. I share it with my sister and she loves to hog it.”
“Sure you can. You can even borrow mine. We could keep it as our little secret.” Eddie says, putting a finger to his lips.
You laugh. “Okay. Why not? I can live on the edge sometimes.”
Eddie sits on the edge of the bed, patting the seat beside him. You sit, a small gap between the two of you. He could tell that you were uncomfortable, you hands crushed between your thighs as you avoided his stare.
Why don’t you get a little closer to her? She wants you to. I can feel it.
You’re full of shit, man.
“Should we pray now? Or would you like to talk about the study’s topic?” You asked.
“Not even sure what tonights topic was even about?” Eddie admitted.
“It was about repentance. How sincere we are in regretting our wrongdoings. We can do a prayer where we apologize for our sins. It doesn’t have to be out loud if you don’t feel comfortable.”
“I’m not sure how to do that.”
“You mean, prayer?”
“Yeah, like do I just talk?”
“Exactly,” You giggle, sliding off his bed to lower onto your knees before him. Eddie’s breath hitches at the sight. This was going to do wonders for his late night fantasies. You, being on your knees and looking up at him through your long lashes was going to do wonders for his late night fantasies. Fuckkkk. Was he really going to pop a boner right now? In front of your fine ass. “You clasp your hands together like your high-fiving yourself and you just talk to him as if you were talking with me. Don’t hold back either say everything. Then, at the end you say ‘amen’. It’s kind of like hanging up the call.”
“Should I keep my eyes open?”
“It’s preferably better if they’re closed,” You lay a hand on his thigh. “You’re probably shy. Not a problem. I’ll just pray for the both of us. Then, next time, you’ll join me.” You squeeze your eyes shut and whisper a prayer.
A lust for a taste. Just one taste.
His legs move on their own accord, standing up so that he’s towering over your small frame. You smelled so fucking incredible. Just…one…taste.
Eddie’s heart beats rapidly, vision blurring as he began to see double. You were oblivious to his inner turmoil, peacefully praying away. And just like that it felt like Eddie had taken the backseat in his own mind.
“Amen,” You finish, looking up at him in surprise. “Oh, I didn’t feel your presence in front of me. You move as swift as a mouse.”
“And you as gentle as a lamb.” He smirks.
This wasn’t Eddie speaking. No! The being known as Kas has taken over. Eddie being so sleep deprived, he didn’t have a fighting chance against him.
You stand on your feet, checking your watch.“Oh, no. How is it already time to go? We hardly got anything done. I’ll have to go. My parents are probably anticipating my arrival by now.”
“It’s only 7 pm, bunny. Is it your bedtime?”
“I can assure you I’m a big girl who sleeps at anytime I please,” You chuckle. “It’s supper time. My family always eats together.
“You should call your parents. Tell them you’ll be staying for a bit. I’m sure they wouldn’t want to keep you from a lost soul who’s eager to learn about the Lord.”
“I-I…I’m not sure if they’d be okay with that. My father was on the fence about me even coming here. Mother had to defend me.”
“Mama does know best. She knows her little girl wouldn’t do anything Jesus wouldn’t do,” Kas winks before holding out the house phone. “Go on. Let make the call. It’ll only be for one more hour.”
No, Kas! Fuck you! Let her go home!
“O-okay,” You take the phone from his hands. “I’ll just take it in the living room in case the conversation needs to be said in private.”
“Do whatever you wish.” He bows, holding open the bedroom door for her. She exits.
Kas!
If Kas weren’t so proud, he’d laugh. The game of chess has been set in motion. Striding over to his bedroom’s dresser, he looks at the reflection in the mirror.
“You rang?” He smiles a toothy grin, his top canines extended.
“Stay away from her,” Eddie hisses. “She doesn’t deserve to be treated like your meal.”
“Then, you shouldn’t have starved me,” Kas grunts angrily. “Besides…she looks good enough to sink my teeth into.”
“I won’t let you hurt her.”
“I’m not gonna hurt her. At least…not in a way she wouldn’t like.”
“Good luck with that. There’s no way her parents will let her stay.”
You walk in, prompting Kas to turn and face you. A smile on your face as you too your seat back in his bed.
“After a some convincing, my father says that I can stay for just one more hour.”
“That’s fantastic.” Kas says in feigned excitement, silently gloating in his head.
“Although,” You play with your thumbs. “I kind of told a little white lie. I told my father that we weren’t left unsupervised.”
“Probably for the best.”
“I feel so guilty, though. I rarely lie to my Father unless it’s reasonable and even then I still end up telling him. I told him I snuck out to see your concert. It’s probably why he doesn’t…” You quiet down.
“Doesn’t…like me?” Kas finishes.
“I wouldn’t say that.”
“No, I understand, bunny,” He sits down, scooting closer to you. “Your father’s justified in wanting to protect you from me.”
You smile. “Why would I possibly need to be protected from you? You’re sweet, funny, and interesting. You couldn’t hurt a fly.”
Kas smiles at her cluelessness. “Think about it, bunny. Why do you think your father would be worried you being alone with me?”
“Because it’s late?” You say, softly.
“Because he was once my age. Because he could only imagine that i’ll be doing exactly the things he used to do with your mother before they were married.”
“Y-you mean fornication. But that’s a sin.”
“Sinning’s a part of human nature. It says so in the bible: We’re all born sinners and what not.”
“You’re right about that. B-but church folk say that marriage is important first to enjoy things of that nature.”
“What if I told you, you don’t have to marry…to fuck?”
The emphasis on the swear word sends chills down your spine. You bite your lip to keep him from hearing your heavy breathing.
“I mean, come on. Would you really wanna marry a bad lay? With each new generation, sex is more liberating, raunchier and nastier. It doesn’t always have to come with strings attached. That’s what makes it sooo fascinating. You get to fuck whoever and whenever. Why enforce these principles on yourself when there’s always something new to learn about it. Don’t you like fun?”
You swallow hard. “I do but lots of things could be fun aside from…sinning.”
“What could be more fun than feeling the best pleasure you could ever imagine?”
“Going to church could be just as pleasurable.”You try smiling again to keep him from thinking he’s affecting you.
“It could…but you wouldn’t know that for sure unless you’ve been fucked? But not just regular fucking. Hard, fast. The kind that takes your breath away and makes you feel like you’re dying a little.”
“I experience that above worldly pleasures and the physical. That’s why this mentorship program is out in place, Eddie. It shows us how to seek happiness outside of those things. It’s like a spiritual awakening.”
“I can give you that with just my fingers alone, bunny. You don’t need to talk to some imaginary man in the sky when you’ve got one right here willing to show you things that’ll rock your world.”
“Like what?” You weren’t sure why you kept this conversation going. It was supposed to be about God. About today’s bible study topic. Not…this! But your curiosity got the best of you. You were like a scientist poking and prodding for your latest discovery.
“Have you ever played with yourself?” Kas asks, eyes ruby red. You being so lost in his trance, you couldn’t bother to realize that you were staring into the eyes of a monster.
“You mean, touch myself… down there?”
“Uh-huh.”
“Yes,” You breathe. Somehow, you don’t feel embarrassed to admit this to a guy you’ve had a crush on since the 9th grade, never acting on your feelings because your world had never aligned up until this point. “But not directly.”
“What do you mean, bunny?”
“I’ve never put a finger inside or touch there at all when I’m pleasuring myself because I’d feel too guilty if it were by my own hand. So I…” You look away and trail off, afraid to continue.
“Go on. Don’t be shy.” Kas encourages, a hand on your knee.
“I…shove my pillow between my legs and rub against it.”
“That sounds hot as fuck.” He shift closer to you, his knee touching yours.
“It’s shameful.” You whisper.
“It’s natural. I get that feeling, too. You just want some release. You deserve that. Don’t you, bunny?”
“I’m not sure.” You clamp your thighs together, bringing his attention to the hand that’s rested on your knee.
He slithers a hand up your soft, supple thighs and squeezes. You let out a quiet squeak. “I think you do. You’ve been such a good girl.”
His hand move further up before wedging between your inner thigh. “Tell ya what…maybe I can teach you some things, too. It could be my gift of appreciation to you.”
Kas stalks over you, eyes staring into yours while you gradually fell against Eddie’s pillow.
Don’t you fucking dare, Kas!
You’re shaking and Kas places a hand over your heart, feeling it pound against his palm. It was so delicious. You are just so full of life. And blood. Innocent, pure blood.
“So you’re a virgin?”
You nod.
“I can change that.”
He’s being weirdly crass! You thought to yourself.
And yet, you throbbed for him. Your hands have the sudden urge to pull his face down to yours for a passionate kiss.
But Kas makes the first move, lowering his face above yours. The guitar pick necklace dangling above you slots itself between your breasts when his lips are just inches away from yours. You close your eyes, feeling the lightest of touch only to quickly dissipate before you could even register its presence. You hear a pained groan, opening your eyes to see him rubbing his temple, eyes screwed shut.
“Eddie?”
“Sorry about that, bunny. Got a real pain in my head head just now,” Kas laughs. “I’m ready to continue if you are.”
“Actually, do you think you could take me home,” You reach for your bag beside you, standing on your unsteady feet. “This was…a night.”
Kas exhales deeply. “Why not?”
He sluggishly reaches for the keys of the van, leading you out the door to his van. The rest of the car ride was quiet but the exchanging spoke loud enough. When Kas arrived to your home, you gathered your things slowly almost like you were thinking of saying something.
“Umm, I’ll see you tomorrow?”
“Maybe.” Kas says, nonchalantly.
“Okay,” You say, discouraged. “Goodnight.”
You pull the door handle but it wouldn’t budge. After couple of tries, Kas leans across your seat.
“Sometimes, you gotta give it a little shake.” He strongarms the handle, popping the door open.
He could here your breathing above him, you really were inexperienced. The slightest touch or breeching of your personal space and you’re flustered.
Kas decides to have fun with this, making sure you can feel his breath ghosting over you skin as he gradually looks up at you. When you felt it tickle against your neck, you shudder. Just as he’d hoped: goosebumps light up your skin.
“Goodnight.” Kas finally says.
“Mm, yeah.” You rush out, going up to the front door. He waits for you to enter and he’s off, cursing himself. You were a lot harder of a catch.
But it wasn’t lost on him that you’d been rubbing your thighs together. You probably couldn’t wait to get back to back to your room to hump your pillow until sunset. Kas prides himself in this thought.
“Thanks to you she thinks I’m some perv.” Eddie complaints.
Kas groans. “Don’t you have an off switch? Besides a pervert is exactly what you are. Don’t pretend you weren’t thinking of fucking her, too? I didn’t hear you once complain when I asked her about playing with herself.”
“You won’t be coming near her again, Kas. I fucking swear it. From now on, I’ll be serious with my avoidance of her.”
“We’ll see how long that’ll last. Hell, she’ll probably come looking for us first after the time I just gave her.” Kas winks through the rearview mirror.
Eddie could feel himself slipping into his own mind, trying to find solid ground. If he didn’t figure out a way to find the balance within himself, Kas will take full control. And who knows how many people’s lives could be at risk.
—————
Eddie’s ashamed. After your confessions last night, he touched himself, imagining the way you’d sound moaning as your wet pussy dragged along your pillow. He imagined what words you’d say when you climax. Would you call for God? Would you swear? Would you call out for his name?
The next thing he knew, his hands were down his boxers, stroking his cock and sniffing the parts of the sheets where you were lain against. It was pathetic. Desperate. He hated to admit that Kas had been right. Eddie wanted to fuck you hard and deep, making you take every inch of him.
The next day—as Kas predicted—you were actively searching for him. Eddie made sure that whenever you were entering a room, he was exiting.
He’s been successful for the most part. The occasional times where he would run into you, he’d quickly rush off explaining to you how he’s needed in a different department of the church. But despite that, he was at ease knowing that you’d be safe from him.
That was up until he was reminded of bible study. In which, Eddie had to sit in a room of close proximity to you. You’d try to sit next to him and he’d pounce at the very moment the hear your body radiates against his skin.
He needed to think fast. So when the meeting begun, Eddie made sure to sit in a chair with the seats around him filled. Every now and then, he’d catch your stare. Especially, when the two of you shared a momentary smile at one another when the lead went on about the “devil worshipping game of Dungeons and Dragons”. Once the meeting concluded, Eddie’s attempts to walk out the door when the lead begs him to stay to clean up again along with You like the other day.
He reluctantly agrees, starting in a corner of the room far from you. Every now and then, he’d catch himself staring. Did you have to dress goddamn stunning today? Like a goddamn angel. It wasn’t fair.
You pretend as if you needed something in the section he was hiding in, casually walking around him. “Hey! I was looking to speak with you today.”
“Really? Oh man, I’m sorry.” Eddie wasn’t much of an actor.
“You seem like you’re very busy today. It’s nice to see that you being so active here.”
To avoid all my problems, of course.
“Everyone’s been talking about it,” You continue. “Nobody could have seen it coming. Eddie Munson, church goer.”
“Well, no one’s as shocked as my friends. They still don’t believe it, pictures and all,” Eddie laughs before clearing his throat for a more serious topic. “I’m sorry about yesterday. I was being a dick—sorry I mean, jerk.”
You look at him strange.
“Did I say something wrong?” Eddie asks.
“No. It’s just funny that you’re apologizing for cursing,” You giggle. “Yesterday…you were sort of a sailor mouth.”
“Oh, right. I’m not sure what came over me.“
“To be quite honest, I kinda liked it,” You smile, looking down in your lap. “Everyone’s so formal and proper all the time. It’s nice to hear something…different.”
“Oh…” Eddie’s floored.
“Anyway, how’d you like today’s study?”
“Not my favorite, honestly. They talked so much shit about D’n’D being ‘demonic’.” Eddie says, putting on a gravelly demon voice.
“I’m really sorry about that. I know it’s a sensitive. It was very admirable of you not to interject your points even though you could have very well done so with no judgment. In my opinion, it’s only a harmless game. I’ve been curious to play it.”
“You should come by my club sometime, then. I can teach you all that I know.”
“I’d love for you to teach me.” Your smile fades when you’re reminded of the implications of your statement. Eddie catches this, nervously twirling the rings on his fingers. Neither of you meeting each other’s gaze.
You clear your throat, breaking the silence. “Eddie…I have a few questions.”
“Sure, angel. What’s up?”
“Is there something you’re hiding from me? I want you to know that whatever it is that you feel you can’t tell me…you really could tell me. I may not be a great liar but I can keep secrets.”
Yes, actually. I have a lust for blood because I’m a vampire with an alter personality that attacks humans for their blood and now we’re competing to claim you. : Is what he wished to say… instead he simply puts it at a, “It’s complicated. But I don’t think I have much to say.”
“It’s just that you’ve been so different lately. I’ve never know you to remotely care what people think of you. Or go to church meetings and want to learn about the Bible.”
“People aren’t born religious, they find their way. I did.”
“Yeah but it’s like you’re doing it to make up for something. Whatever it is…you should know that you don’t have to deal with it on your own. You don’t have to avoid me. And if it feels like I’m not forcing you into doing this program in anyway—.”
“I chose to sign up for this. None of this is because I’m force to do this. If anything I like being around you, I’m just going through a lot of stress. It’s hard learning to be more responsible and in control.”
“I know what you mean,” You laugh. “I feel like I nearly lose control all the time. Especially…when I’m with you.”
His eyes widen at your bold admittance.
“Yesterday, I was on the edge, waiting to go over. It’s like that whenever I’m near you. Like, I’m hanging on by a thread that just gets keeps getting thinner and thinner, anticipating the moment it snaps.”
“That’s exactly how I feel.” Eddie says, feeling as if a weight’s been lifted off his shoulders.
“Is it wrong that I wish for you to teach me those things you said you would? To think such sinful thoughts right here on church grounds?”
He swallows audibly, adam’s apple bobbing. “I wouldn’t think so.”
“I’ve always liked you, Eddie. I like you. Not whatever constructed version of you that you’re trying to build to appease the masses. I’m interested in you and the things you like and how excited you are when you get to share them with someone,” You close the space between your bodies. “When I think about you…I can’t stop the ache I feel between my legs. No matter how many times I touch myself at night.”
“Oh, angel,” Eddie breathes. “You’re gonna break me down.”
“What I feel is so intense that all I could do is touch myself to get some release. You were right. I don’t want to deny myself of what I need. I need you.”
“I need you, too. So fucking bad. I could never get you out of my head.”
Your eyes light up. “Really?”
“How can I? You’re amazing. And you’re really pretty and nice and you smell like a dream. Whenever I look at you, I just wanna hold you and kiss you.”
“I can’t stand it. I want you now.” You whine, grabbing the collar of his jacket to press your lips to his.
He’s more confident in his kiss with you, tongue running over your bottom lip. You grant him the permission to explore your mouth, deepening the kiss. You even tasted incredible, too.
Eddie feels as if he’s on top of the world and he hopes Kas could see him now.
That’s checkmate, asshole.
You break the kiss, a line of spit connecting your lips before you lap at it with your tongue. A heat creeping up on your lips when you remembered exactly where you were.
“I hope these old cameras don’t work.” Although, something within you says the opposite.
“Come on.” Eddie takes your hand, leading you to the back corner of the library.
He turns you over, your back against the bookshelf as he starts off by kissing your neck. He, then, resumes moving his lips over your pouty ones, his skillful tongue works its wonders. When his hands reach your butt, he cups it and uses the leverage to glide your clothed core over his denim-covered thigh.
“First lesson in pleasuring yourself, if you’ve got a partner…use ‘em.” Eddie says, grinding you down against him causing you to moan out.
You cover a hand over your mouth afraid that you’re being too loud. He quickly removes your hand away.
“It’s just us, angel. I wanna hear you.”
“But what if someone walks in?”
“Don’t care. Show me how you play with that pussy when your at home. Ride my thigh.” His hand collides hard on your ass, the sting hurts so good.
“Please.” You rasp, rutting against his leg like a dog in heat while he sucked on your neck.
He wanted to taste you so badly. Drink of your nectar as if you were the very source of life itself. So, once he felt like he’d gotten his fill, he drops down to his knees before you. You were confused at first until you felt his hands creep up your dress, finding the band of your panties.
It was a blessing you decided to wear nice underwear today.
He slides your pink thong down your legs, hiking the skirt of your dress around your hips. The look on his face was enough to make you feel like a goddess. His hooded eyes, fluttering as he watch your honeyed arousal seep from your puffy lips.
“It so damn perfect.” Eddie groans. Not wasting a second longer, he dives in. His tongue licks a long stripe up and down your slit before taking in the sensitive nub between his pursed lips.
Your knees begin to buckle underneath you, the only thing keeping you up is his hand on your abdomen.
“Ngh..ooo please! Eddieee.” You whine, biting your lip to keep from screaming. In that moment, there was no turning back for you. You’ve now experienced the kind of pleasure your pillow could never compare to.
You almost felt sorry for denying yourself this kind of bliss. But it was worth the wait because now you get to indulge. And indulge you did, grinding your sodden cunt against his face. His arms wrap around your thick thighs, pulling you into him as if you weren’t close enough.
Eddie kisses your pussy like does when he kissing the lips on your face, savoring the feeling against his. He collects your juices on his tongue then spits back onto your throbbing pussy before sucking it off again. It was absolutely filthy. Something you’d never seen which was enough to make you cum hard at the sight alone.
Your walls clench and unclench within you, desperately needing to be filled. As if he’d read your mind, he slips in a thick digit into you. Then, another. You gasp at the sensation. It was foreign but it intensified your orgasm to the point where you reached for the books behind you to ground yourself into reality, knocking them to the ground.
You were like a work of Michelangelo. He watches intensely as you cry out and writhe against his mouth and fingers. The sounds of his moans combined with the suction noises would have anyone fooled that he was currently eating a 5-star cuisine.
“Oh, yess, daddy.” You let out a guttural groan, the whites of your eyes shown.
Eddie liked the sound of that, laughing wickedly against your thigh. He knew he’s won, taking you down piece by piece until you crumbled. He rubs your clit until your shaking from overstimulation, pulling his hand away to breathe again.
He smirks. The little tease. You smile back, panting. Your hair’s probably a mess from all the thrashing.
You expected him to slide your underwear back up your legs. Instead, he sniffs them and groans, pocketing them.
“Mine now.” He claims with a smile.
“You’ve definitely rocked my world.” You praise, now that you could form a coherent sentence.
He chuckles, helping you straighten yourself out. “So did you. I’ve never been so turned eating pussy. Nearly came in my pants like some prepubescent kid.”
“I want more.” You jump him, kissing with tongue and tasting yourself.
He pulls away, cradling you in his arms. “Whoa, whoa. Let me take you out on a date first. Let’s take things a little slow.”
————
He was no better than Kas. Eddie was just as thirsty for you. Just as much to credit for your corruption. There was no slowing down between the two of you. Ever since you’d began dating, things have been intense.
There was lots of kissing for sure and Eddie loved going down on you every chance he got. He was a addicted to your taste and the way you sounded, determined to make you scream his name whenever the two of you were alone.
You’d asked Eddie to go to the sex shop with you because tonight was the night. You and Eddie have talked about it for these past few weeks now. He was going to take your virginity. Like you’d always dreamed about.
You were looking for your first time to be somewhat experimental but also as loving as possible. You knew Eddie would provide that. But there wasn’t just Eddie Munson who’d partake in your christening…Kas would soon make his entrance.
“You should buy that,” The little devil in Eddie’s mind says, drawing Eddie’s attention to the foxtail anal plug hung up on display. “It’ll train her ass just right for what I plan on doing to her tonight.”
“Fuck off. I’m not letting you get in on this,” Eddie bites. “She’s mine.”
“Did you really think I wouldn’t come out to play when our girl’s begging for our cock?” Kas says, smugly.
“Get the fuck out of my head, Kas. You’ve caused enough trouble in my life.”
“You can deny me all you wish but it changes nothing. I am your most primal desires and truest of nature. I am you,” Eddie could feel himself weakening. Kas growing in his awareness. “I have you to thank, though. You prepared the little lamb nice and ready for me to partake. Maybe I’ll let you take the reigns…eventually.” Kas chuckles, darkly.
“Eddie,” You skipped giddily over to him. “I think I’m ready to go now. I didn’t get much other than some condoms and lubricant like you said.”
“What do you think of this?” Kas says, picking up the foxtail, curling it around your neck as you look in the mirror.
You giggle. “What is that?”
“Oh, you’ll find out.”
—————
You made it to Eddie’s trailer and your nerves manifested into butterflies aimlessly fluttering in your tummy. This was going to happen. You were going to lose your virginity to Eddie Munson. But as excited as you were…you couldn’t bring yourself to step out of his van.
A part of you felt guilty. Like you wanted to call it off in that moment. You’ve been saving yourself for marriage but all your views and moral values were slowly unraveling. Was God looking down at you right now?
“Hey, bunny?” He says warmly, pulling you out of your thoughts. “Something wrong?”
Your eyes look into his and suddenly you’re skeptical of the man before you. His pale skin contrasted with the darkening around his eyes which in return highlights the ruby red of his irises. “H-hey, um, Eddie?”
You say the name itself in the form of a question, which prompts him to catch onto your suspicion. And yet he smiles. “Yeah?”
“What if I were to say that I’m having second thoughts about this?”
“That’s normal. But that’ll pass. I promise I’ll make this enjoyable for you.”
You grip the edges of your skirt. “It’s just that…it feels so different. Y-you feel different again.”
The moonlight over his faces leaves one side lit brightly against his skin while the other half of his face was shaded in the dark.
“What makes you say that?”
“There’s something about your energy that’s… shifted. And your eyes—It’s like that night all over again. The night we almost….” You swallow the hard lump in your throat. “You’re not Eddie, are you? W-who are you?”
The corners of his lips curl. “You’re a clever little lamb, aren’t you? That explains why you ran off that night. Do you always run from danger?”
You frigid in your seat, watching his every move.
“My name is Kas. Think of me as an enhanced version of lover boy who’s, by the way, watching us through these eyes. Right now. Tonight…I’ll be filling in for him by filling in you.”
“You,” You whisper, pointing at him. “You’re the one that’s been influencing me and Eddie to do these unholy things. You’re possessing him.”
“Bunny, you’ve gotta stop reading that fairytale crap. It rots your brain. I’m no demon,” His fangs extend and you’re scared shitless. “I have no part in controlling Eddie’s emotions or yours. He’s been wanting to fuck you since he saw you. I couldn’t blame him. You’re so sexy.” He growls, leaning in.
You hold up the rosemary around your neck. “I’m protected by God.”
He smirks, reaching out to squeeze the pendant between his index and thumb. He bends the copper in half. You’re shocked to see that he was able to hold it without it negatively affecting him in some way. “Your God can’t save you. No one can. And with my cock down your throat, no one’ll hear you scream either.”
“What do you want?” You hiccup, a tear trickling down your face.
“To fornicate.” He mocks.
You try pulling at the door handle but to know avail, resorting to climbing into the back of the van. His manic cackling is a form of torment.
“You’re exactly where I want you, bunny.” Kas chortles, hopping out the driver’s side to yank open the double doors of the van. “I’ve always wanted to pop your cherry under the stars.”
You kick at him but he’s quicker than you, catching your legs and pulling you towards him. He forces your legs open for his body to stand in between. Climbing over you, he crashes his mouth over yours, teeth knocking in the impact. Your mouth opens at the force, allowing him bite down on your tongue and draw blood. You yelp out in pain, which dissipates into pleasure as he suckles on it.
You’re grinding your core into his hardening erection. He pulls away, looking between your bodies.
“Would you look at that? Looks like our girl wants me, too, Eddie.”
“Eddie?” You stopped rolling your hips in embarrassment, prompting him to slap the side of your thigh.
“Hey! Did I tell you to stop?”
“But Eddie…” You whimper.
“Awww, you scared he’s gonna be mad your humping my leg like a desperate little whore? He’ll be a lot more pissed at me for the things I’ll be doing to you.”
He thrusts his hips against you, pressing his erection into you. You whine out. “I’m sorry, Eddie.”
“Don’t be. He’s right here with us. He’ll feel every part of this. I just get to take the lead,” He pulls himself up on his knees. “Would you like to see what’ll be splitting you apart?”
You nod. You’re not sure why you’re flooding in your underwear at such graphic language but the thought of being impaled by him forcefully was more than inciting.
His shirt is the first to go, chest and abdomen riddled with large scars that made you question his survival of whatever attacked him. You follow his happy trail, his hands just above it before they find their way to his belt. The metal clanking of his belt fills the silence then the quiet zip of the zipper.
He straddles your upper body, the crotch area close enough to your face. “Pull ‘em down.” Kas demands.
With shaky hands, your fingers hook around the waistband of his boxers and pants, lowering them slowly until his cock springs out and hovers over your face with a bounce. You eyes widened in pure horror and fascination. Not only was it huge but it was freakish. Two toned with a rose pink tip, it jumped and wiggled as if it had a mind of its own. As if it were a tendril-like entity.
“Oh my god.” You squeak in shock.
“He looks happy to see you,” Kas smiles. “Why don’t you have a taste?”
You reluctantly stick your tongue out, licking a small strip up the tip. You taste the saltiness of his precum on your tongue then rest your head back against the layers of comforters.
“What was that? Suck on it.” He demands, growing impatient.
“But I don’t know how.”
“I’ve seen the way you eat popsicles, sweetheart. You’ll do just fine. Here, I’ll even help you,” Gripping your hair forward, he sheaths himself down your throat. The entity of a cock, wriggling inside your throat and forcing you to gag. “Oh yeah, that’s it.” He moans.
Kas forces your head down on him over and over. Your trapped between his legs so there was no running. The gurgling sound beneath him eggs him on as he fuck your face roughly. He yanks your hair back for a moment, a thick glob of spit dripping from the tip. You take in as much as air as you could.
“Look how pretty.” He pulls down on your hair, forcing your mouth up and open. Sticking his tongue out, he lets the saliva trail down onto your awaiting tongue.
You aren’t given enough time to compose yourself. Kas shoves his length down your throat once more, adamant on choking you with it. At one point he pinches your nose, using his handle around it to push and pull you down around him. You could hardly breathe but you would not allow yourself to tap out, wanting to please him.
He lets go of his hold around your nose and you learn to breathe through your nostrils, bobbing your head back and forth.
“Now, you’re getting the hang of it,” He says, breathlessly. “Here’s your reward.”
He collects the mass of spit drip between your mouth and his cock. You feel your panties push to the side and then that familiar pressure within you. You clamp around his fingers immediately.
“Ooo, yes please.” Your eyes roll back into your skull like always.
“Fuck, you’re tight,” He groans, pounding his finger into you so deep that you could feel the band of his rings tap against your clit. “What do you say, bunny?”
“Thank you, Master.” Your hips lift up to meet his thrusting fingers, your hand curled around his thick length as much as you could fit to jerk him off.
He circles his finger around something inside you that you hadn’t known you’ve possessed, flicking the trigger repeatedly until the sounds of your wetness echo in the vacuum space.
“I’m close…gonna cum.” Your legs are shaking as you pant for dear life. The pressure building more and more. “Oh god.”
“Not god, bunny. God couldn’t give you this much pleasure.”
You whine and babble, tears running down your face. Then, you’re gasping, eyes fluttering. This was going to be an intense one. One that scared you so much that you nearly ruined it on your own trying to suppress but Kas’s fingers knew how to draw your orgasm when you begged for it to retreat. No way could you handle this and come out sane.
“Unnh, mmm.” Now your toes are curling, arousal seeping and just before you snap…he pulls his fingers.
You’re hyperventilating. You hated him. You wanted to stop this. To give up. How could he be so evil?!
You cry out your frustration and he’s amused, studying features while you threw a tantrum beneath him.
“I was going to let you finish but then I remembered you tried running away from me…again,” He chides. Yet, now you cry and beg for me. So what is it? Are you mine or not?”
Your chest rises and falls, hot and angry tears streaming down your cheeks. “You said I deserve release.”
“Then, prove yourself worthy. Move me.” He smirks.
“I wanna cum,” You groan, throwing your head back in frustration. “Wanna cum on your fingers, Master. Please. I belong to you. I’m yours.”
“Alright, bunny.” He coos, shoving his fingers into you again. And It’s like he’d never left. The pressure is there again and somehow there’s layers upon layers of it. One push of a beckoning finger against the pearl within you and you’re gushing endlessly.
You’re wetting the comforter beneath you, calling out into the night without a worry or care in mind as if he didn’t have neighbors. He doesn’t stop his ministrations and your convinced he’s trying to keep the trend of you screaming loud enough for people to think you’re being murdered.
“Just one more.” He says, wriggling against it again and you’re so sensitive that it feels like he’s broken something in you so that all you can do is leak out your arousal.
You tremble and jolt, eyes glossed over. Unaware of him sliding himself off you, it wasn’t until your legs are pried open again that brought you back. You look up at him, his pants fully removed.
“Take off your clothes. I’m done waiting.” He commands.
You oblige, shyly removing your clothing and garments until you lay bare before him. He looks you up and down, the entity-like cock stiffening in your direction.
You expected him to roll on a condom. Instead, he flip you around on your stomach.
“What about wearing a condom?” You panic.
“I’ll be filling you up with my cum. Think I could get your belly all round and swollen for me?”
You shook your head. “No, please.”
“You know how to end this. Say it and I’ll stop right now.”
He was right. Eddie had taught you the colors in case you needed things to stop or go slow. But you didn’t want any of that. You craved the full experience. You silently lift yourself on all fours, pushing your ass against him to show how badly you need him. It was going to hurt going in this way your first time but you weren’t a quitter.
“That’s my girl.” His hands squeezed around your waist, fingertips digging into your belly. The fat tip his cock at the entrance of your core.
You exhale, feeling the pressure and then just as he said…you’re being split apart. “Oh, ffff-“
“What’s that?” He teases, inching into you some more before snapping his hips forward. He’s officially fed you the entire length, stretching you beyond comprehension.
The wind is knocked out of you, your hand searching for something to grip. “Oh, fuck.” You squeak.
“Feels so fucking good ruining you.” He laughs, hitting sharp thrusts into you. Pound for pound, he elicits a noise out of you each time.
Kas smells the familiar scent of blood on his length and his bloodlust spikes. He fucks into you hard and your knees give out, now laying flat on your stomach.
“Oh, fuck, Master. Thank you.” You whine, biting into the sheet below you.
He’s relentless taking you as if you’ve been through this times before. No mercy. Your breath and words snatched away with each nudge of his tip teasing you g-spot. He pulls you up on your knees again and you feel a cool gel ooze onto your puckered hole. His thumb teases the entrance, circling around it until it’s replaced with a cold metal object that breaches through your anal cavity fully.
“Your ass looks so yummy, bunny.” Kas moans, spanking your ass roughly, yanking on the tail.
“Oh my god. Oh my god.” You chant, overwhelmed by the feeling of both your holes being filled.
“Howl for me.” He says, slapping your ass again.
You don’t even have to try. You were doing that exact kind of noise. His neighbors would for sure voice their complaints.
You feel his cock doing something to your walls that seemed near impossible as it suctions itself to your walls, keeping him snug within you while it searched for its main target.
Kas grunts with every thrust going deeper and deeper into your channel until reached your cervix. You began to salivate, mind numb. Was he in your stomach? You didn’t have to wonder long, feeling him apply pressure near your belly button. Oh yeah, he’s deep in your guts. Rearrange them for a permanent indentation. He’s officially broken you and you’re not understanding your reality at this point.
“You’re squeezing me tight, bunny. You gonna come?”
“Uh-huh.” You pant, eyes crossed.
“Then, fucking ask for permission!”
“Please make me cum, Master. Please. I’ve been a good girl. I wanna cum!”
His fingers find your swollen nub, rubbing it back and forth . Your legs give out once again but he doesn’t miss a beat, stroking long and deep into your squelching core. Skin slapping against skin as your ass jiggled at the force.
“I’m cumming!” You cry out, squirting your juices at anything in within range. Kas takes this opportunity to bite into your neck and feed. It all felt so overwhelming. Now you’ve understood it why the french call it ‘a little death’. You’re positive that your heart’s stopped momentarily during your convulsions.
“Shit, shit, shit.” You bite down on your finger, he’s still drinking of your blood.
Kas’s warm seed shoots through your warm channel. He unsheathing his sharp fangs from your neck, mouth bloodied as he pumped away in your clenching core. His moans enough to make you whine again at the sound even though you’re pretty much spent.
Once, he’s sure he’s pushed his cum far enough into the deepest parts of you, he stills and slides out of you slowly. His dick is covered in a mixture of cum and blood. You mourn the loss of him as if his place was meant to be inside you. He collapses in the space next to you, caressing your backside and playing with the tail thats still plugged in you.
“How do you feel?” He asks.
You turn over on your back, panting. “I feel…like I just had a spiritual awakening.”
“Didn’t I tell ya.” He chuckles.
“I’m also really lightheaded.”
“That’s both the orgasm and the blood loss. You’ll need some food to replenish.”
You hum your understanding.
Kas curls into your side, pressing kisses into your shoulder. “Do you like me, too? I know you like Eddie but do you like me?”
“I do,” You nodded. “I like every part of you.”
“Even if there were some…darker parts that you don’t get to see.”
You had to think about that one, piecing together Eddie’s arrival to the church along with the very idea of Kas. “I think that because I like you…I’m willing learn to understand you. But I don’t want anyone to get hurt. So, if you ever need to feed, I am yours.”
He nudged his head into the crook of your neck. Kas choose not to tell you about the missing man, wanting to start a new clean slate with you. Maybe you had influenced him just as much as he did you.
“Hey, Bunny. Lover boy’s looking to cut into our time. So if I go, just remember that I fucked you better.”
You giggle, playing in his hair. Kas shuts eyes and reopens them and they’re the familiar brown cow eyes.
“Eddie?” You place soft kisses all over his face when you notice his glare. “Are you mad at me?”
“I’m not mad, angel. But I won’t be so nice either.” He captures a hardened nipple between his teeth and bites down, making you scratch angry lines down his back. His mouth latches onto your creamy pussy, drinking of its essence. You were sensitive but you sigh in delight, hands in his hair as you arched off the van floor.
Should you be a lamb, then you shall serve yourself as a precious offering to your kings?

FanFic Ask Game
So I saw this post (linked above) and decided to answer all the questions instead of just reblogging and waiting for asks. Enjoy getting to know a bit more about me as a writer!
💖 What do you like most about your own writing?
I love how fluffy it generally is and how my fics always have a happy ending 🥰
😐 What embarrasses you most about your own writing?
I don't think I'm embarrassed about my writing? Maybe sometimes I'll write a kiss that feels a bit cringe?
👻 What is one WIP you think you may never pick back up?
'the heist wip'. Inspired by the episode Ocean's 9-1-1, I wanted to explore what situation could make them ACTUALLY turn to crime. I had a vague idea of a woman's dog being kidnapped by her abusive ex, and Buck gets all obsessed over it and eventually asks the rest of the team to help him break the dog out or something. idk. I don't have a solid enough idea and I feel like it would end up being a long fic which I just can't commit to atm. (If anyone reading this is inspired by this idea, feel free to write it!! But please tag me if you do! I would love to read it!)
👀 Do you have any WIPs that you would never let see the light of day? If yes, what are they about?
... I don't think so?
Yeah I've just had a skim through and can't find anything that I would never share if I managed to finish it.
📥 What is your fave fic to receive comments/messages on?
Ooohhh, I love getting comments on ALL my fics but I guess if I had to choose I'd probably go with Friends Don't (8.5k) because it has a special place in my heart.
✏️ Do you write every day?
Not strictly, but most days yes.
🖊 Post a snippet from a current WIP.
"Back to my point," Chimney said once Hen's laughter died down. "You two are codependent. I bet you couldn't even go a day without having to touch each other."
Buck's face flushed a darker shade of red.
"Yes we could," Eddie argued, suddenly stubborn and confrontational. "We could go a week."
"You wanna bet, Diaz?" Chimney asked, raising an eyebrow in challenge.
After a quick glance to communicate with Buck, Eddie nodded and said, "You're on. What are the terms?"
don't say his name wip
🏅 What is something you recently felt proud of in regard to your writing (finished a fic, actually planned for once, etc).
I wrote 4 drabbles exactly 100 words each!! It took quite a bit of editing and revising but I'm really happy with how they turned out! You can read them here if you're interested: buddie month | four drabbles
😈 Is there anything you enjoy doing that you think your readers hate?
fhdskjfhs I HOPE NOT 😅
🌙 What time of day do you prefer to write? Why?
I don't really have a preferred time of day?
👖 Are you a planner, plantser, or pantser? Is it consistent?
Yes. And no. lol
📊 Current number of WIPs
............................ 104 🙈
👨👧👧 Do you tell people in real life that you write fic?
Depends ENTIRELY on the person. But generally yes. This does not equal letting them read my fics though lol.
🌝 Who is one character you haven’t yet written for that you would like to?
Hm, good question. Maybe Athena?
📝 What is one growth area you have for your writing?
Uhhh I don't know. I feel like I'm constantly learning about writing and just generally trying to improve in all areas.
📚 Do you read your own fic?
YES ALL THE TIME. I looooove reading over my fics. Makes me so happy!!
🤔 What is the hardest part of writing fic?
Writing kisses. Or endings. Both. Every time Buddie are about to kiss I tend to abandon the fic for a while lmaoooo and then whenever I have to wrap it up it takes me 3-5 business days.
🧠 What’s an idea you have that you can’t quite call a WIP yet?
Up for anything. All I've got for it so far is this:
Buck: No, I mean it. I'm up for anything. If you can come up with something I won't do you win. But I'm telling you right now I never back down from a dare.
💻 Do you do research for your fics? What’s the deepest dive you’ve done?
fhjskfh I hate research. My deepest dive is whatever happens in the show. I'll rewatch or maybe read wikis to make sure I get show details accurate but anything else? I'm making that shit up bestie 😅
✨ Choose three adjectives to complement your own writing.
🙈 sweet, emotional, aaaaaand heartwarming? idk
💭 What is a headcanon you have about your own work?
I don't have headcanons about my own work! Everything is canon! They're my works! My reality! YOU can have headcanons about my works lol.
🍰 Name one of your fave comfort fics (doesn’t have to be your all time fave).
Of my own or someone elses?
Of my own fics, I love you (4k) is my fave.
Someone else's, the first that comes to mind is The Best Lie is a Truth (My Best Mask is My Face) (43k) by @letmetellyouaboutmyfeels uggghhh it is chef's kiss!! Fake dating my beloved! 💕
👩🏭 If one of your fics was going to get you arrested, which one and why?
Lazy Mornings (1k) for being so freaking adorable 🥰
⏰ Do you spend more time reading fic, writing fic, or do you do both equally?
I think it's fairly equal? But maybe a bit more time writing, because a lot of the reading I do is of physical books rather than fic.

Three of a Kind
"Hear me out. Inexperienced! Eddie (not a virgin but his experiences are sort of few and vanilla) and an impromptu perhaps tipsy threesome w reader (they're not together but he does think she's hot, maybe they'll end up together who knows) and another chick? Making his wildest dreams come true. Maybe at a party? A gathering of some sort. Just spit balling at this point. It sounds hot. And I want it (Joseph Quinn voice.)" --@etherealglimmer
Inspired by the above headcanon. I'm sorry this took me SO long to finish. I did take a few liberties with the idea (Eddie has had non-vanilla sex but nothing like THIS, and no real relationships). I hope you enjoy!!
Eddie Munson x Fem!Reader x Fem!Roomate
Summary: Eddie makes a weed delivery to his crush at her college party. He gets waaaaay more than payment in response.
Warnings: 18+ for foul language, threesome sex, oral sex (m and f receiving), fingering, strap-on sex, p in v sex, spitroast, a little rough, but kinda sweet. Fluffy filth.
Word Count: 4K
MASTERLIST
THREE OF A KIND
I can't wait to rev you up
Faster than you can say Ferrari
Tearin' up the gravel, watch you unravel
Now it's a party, hey!
October 1986
Eddie normally wouldn’t make a weed run to a college party over twenty miles from home. Spending nearly an hour on the road on a Friday night was not exactly his idea of a good time, and the gas his van guzzled cut into his profits.
But he would make an exception for you.
You weren’t exactly friends, but you had gotten along. You were cool; not one of the popular brats but not a social pariah either. You drifted somewhere in between, just marching to the beat of your own drum. Eddie respected that. You ran into each other outside school on occasion, and would share a smoke or a joint and have a little chat about the latest music releases or the whatever horror flick you had just seen.
While nothing had ever gone beyond a mild flirtation, Eddie allowed himself to wonder if there were possibilities there. Would you ever want to spend some time with him? Should he ask you out on an actual date? How did people even do this? He had never really had a proper girlfriend before, and the idea would ultimately leave him feeling flustered and he would push the thoughts away.
While he was far from a virgin, his experiences were limited to occasional post-gig hookups with the chicks who hung around the hideout looking for a guitarist to nail. It was fun, and the mutual understanding of having no strings attached kept things from getting complicated, but, during those moments when he was feeling particularly lonely, he always found himself looking for that deeper connection that nobody took the time to afford him. And sometimes his thoughts would wander to you.
When you told him that you were going to go off to the community college a couple of towns over, he was surprised.
“I was thinking of going into mortuary sciences,” you said, as you checked your eyeliner with your compact.
“Seriously?” Eddie huffed a laugh.
“Nah,” you said, snapping the compact shut. “Just fucking with you. But I do kinda want to be a writer, maybe tour around and write for Rolling Stone or some shit. So I’m gonna take some English comp courses.”
Eddie grinned. “That sounds awesome, good for you.”
“What are you going to do with your life?” you asked him, arching one eyebrow.
Eddie shrugged. “Jeff and I talked about getting a shithole apartment in Indy or maybe Detroit. I’ve been learning mechanics in my free time. Fix some cars, play some tunes. Just get the hell out of Hawkins.”
“Right on,” you said, smiling amicably as Eddie struggled to mask the disappointment he felt at the prospect of your moving away.
So when you called him six months later looking for a weed hookup, Eddie was practically out the door before you could hang up the phone.
He chuckled to himself as he pulled up to the address he had hastily scribbled on a scrap of paper. Where the hell did you bring me?
It was certainly no sorority house, not that he would have pegged you as the type to join a sorority anyway. It was on the outskirts of town bordered by dense woods, and looked more like an old church than a proper house. This struck Eddie as hilariously fitting (if bordering on sacrilege) and he laughed out loud as he stepped out of the van and sauntered up the walkway.
He observed a few other cars parked about as he approached the house, and he could hear the music thumping as he raised his hand to knock on the door. He knocked three times before spotting the doorbell and giving it a quick buzz.
After a pause of about fifteen seconds, the door swung open, allowing the heady scents of weed and incense to spill out the door, along with the dark and rhythmic tones of Souxie and the Banshees’ Cities in Dust. It was an assault on Eddie’s senses, and the woman who answered the door was no exception.
She was tall, maybe more than 5’7”, with a too-orange to be natural pixie cut and plump, heavily glossed lips. She was a punk goddess in doc martens, fishnets and a plaid miniskirt, simultaneously a cliché and a delight, and for a moment Eddie forgot to speak, his tongue plastered uselessly to the roof of his mouth.
“Yeah?” she said, making no effort to hide her assessment of him as her eyes raked up and down the length of Eddie’s body before stopping at his face, her green eyes penetrating into his. One luscious lip curled up into the ghost of a smirk.
After his brain finally caught up to his mouth he blurted out your first name– a bit too loudly– and quickly followed up with, “uh sorry yeah, she’s expecting me.”
The goddess turned and shouted your name into the dwelling, which was dark and moody; light bulbs had been swapped out for colored ones, smoke hung heavy in the air, lending a hazy and otherworldly vibe to the interior.
You appeared quickly, and Eddie’s heart nearly fell out of his chest. Thoughts of the goddess who answered the door were obliterated when you stepped into view. College looked great on you. Not that you needed the help.
“How’s it going, Munson? Did you find the place alright?” you asked him. You noticed that he was out of breath. “Did you run here, or something?” you added with a laugh.
“Uh, no, I’m fine,” Eddie said, his expression breaking out into a grin. “It’s good to see you. It’s been a while.”
“You too, Eddie,” you said, and stepped away from the door to allow him room to enter. “Come on in. Welcome to my humble abode.”
“You actually live here?” Eddie asked as he followed you inside, weaving around people and through the living room, where he glimpsed more people– mostly women– lounging about and chatting. There were men present as well, but they seemed to be the minority.
Your laugh sounded like bells under the loud music. “Well not alone, but yeah, I live here with four other girls. We’re not a sorority or anything, not anything official, anyway. But split five-ways this place is actually affordable, and it creeps people out, so we’re left alone.”
“Was this a church?” Eddie asked as he looked around the place.
You nodded. “Once upon a time. I guess it was an old chapel but was deconsecrated after the pastor murdered someone. Drink?”
Eddie paused, laughing, holding his hands up. “Whoa whoa wait. You can’t just casually drop that you live in an old murder chapel and just expect me to move on from that.”
You shrugged. “That’s honestly all I know!” You giggled at his expression of incredulity. “Do you want a drink or not?”
Eddie sighed and dropped his hands in resignation. “Sure, I guess I’ll have a murder beer from the murder chapel.”
You laughed heartily as you opened the fridge and pulled out a can of PBR, popping the tab as you handed it over. Eddie took it from you, and downed a considerable amount before setting it aside on the counter and reaching into his leather jacket’s inner pocket. He pulled out a baggie of weed and handed it to you.
“Your green, milady.”
“Thanks, Eddie,” you said, pulling three neatly folded ten-dollar bills from your bra and handing them over. Eddie tried not to stare.
“Pleasure doing business,” he said as he stuffed the bills into the pocket of his jeans without ceremony. He picked the beer up again, unsure of what to do next and feeling slightly awkward. “Sorry your regular hookup went out of town,” he said before taking another pull of beer.
“Oh that?” you replied. “Nah, they’re around. I just needed an excuse to get you over here.”
Eddie sputtered his sip, needing to wipe his mouth on the sleeve of his jacket. “I’m sorry, what?”
“I wanted to see you,” you shrugged. “I was listening to the new Iron Maiden album the other day and it got me thinking, what would Eddie think of this?”
Eddie stood up straight, his eyes brightening. “Too fucking synth-heavy! What were they thinking?!” he exclaimed, making you laugh.
“Exactly. Except for Wasted Years. That song was solid.”
“Yes!” Eddie cried. “It was the only song on the album that didn’t make me want to throw myself out of a moving car,” he said, and the two of you simply grinned at each other for a moment before he continued. “But yeah, Bruce’s vocals were solid though.”
“Of course,” you nodded, smiling. “Bruce is always solid.”
“You know,” Eddie said, leaning forward dramatically while holding onto the counter with one hand, “you could have just called me, you didn’t need to buy weed you didn’t need.”
“I suppose I could have,” you said, stepping toward him. “But where is the fun in that?”
Eddie didn’t have time to fully react; only a quick widening of the eyes showed he registered your actions before you grabbed a fistful of the front of his jacket and pulled him in for a kiss. His lips were soft and pillowy, and you pulled away for a moment to look up into the big brown eyes that frequently haunted your dreams. “I should have done this ages ago,” you murmured, causing Eddie’s heart to triple its pace.
“I wish you had,” he said, before diving back in for another kiss. He brought his hands up to cup your face, tilting your head to deepen the kiss. You allowed him to do it, you would probably let him do anything. You wanted this, you had fantasized about this, and now his tongue was sliding along yours, teasing and exploring. You tasted the sweetness of the pilsner and the ghost of the cigarette he smoked on the drive, and a tiny moan escaped you as you tangled your fingers into the locks of hair you had so longed to touch. You pressed your body taught against his and you could feel the stiffness of his arousal. Fighting the urge to tear at the fly of his jeans, you pulled away.
“Let's go upstairs,” you whispered. Eddie could only nod.
You led him by the hand out of the kitchen and toward the stairs, around the languidly dancing bodies, feeling giddy, the song now Shake the Disease by Depeche Mode, the music thrumming and thrilling, making you feel like you were floating outside of yourself.
The moment you had him upstairs and into your room you were on him again, kissing and nibbling at those perfect lips and pushing his jacket off his shoulders. You quickly started to kneel but Eddie stopped you with a finger under your chin, gently urging you back up.
“Not that I’m complaining,” Eddie chuckled softly at your puzzled expression. “But where is this coming from all of a sudden?”
“I told you,” you said, “I missed you.”
“But why didn’t you do this before? You had plenty of opportunities and I would have been happy to oblige.”
“I don’t know,” you began, unsure of how to phrase what you felt. “Before, I didn’t know what I wanted. But I have a better sense of who I am now. And like I said…” your hand trailed down Eddie’s jeans as you spoke, and you slowly pulled the zipper of his fly down, “I’ve been thinking of you.”
Without another word, you pushed him backward onto the bed, and his surprised laugh was cut short when you pulled his length from his jeans and slipped your lips around the tip. “Oh fuck,” he gasped. “You aren’t messing around are you, oh my go–” the rest of the sounds Eddie made no longer contained words.
You took him in as far as you could and then pulled back up, circling your tongue around the tip. You pumped him slowly as you worshiped the head of his dick for a while; sucking, licking, kissing. Eddie leaned back and braced himself on his hands, his little gasps and moans fueling you onward and enhancing your own arousal. You took his full length in again, and alternated in this manner for a while, going between head worship and deep throating, pulling him closer to the edge.
Eddie was trying not to come while pondering the possibility that he had died en route to your house and was now in heaven, when the bedroom door abruptly opened. Eddie sat up, feeling alarmed and strangely bashful, but you simply pulled away with an annoyed, “what?”
You still had his cock in your hand.
“Oh there you are,” Chloe said, sounding annoyed. She seemed completely unbothered by what she had interrupted, but one eyebrow ticked upward when she saw the impressive appendage encircled by your fingers.
Eddie, unsure of what to do and feeling exposed, grabbed a random piece of cloth– which turned out to be a tank top– and draped it over his exposed erection.
“Do you mind? We’re kind of in the middle of something here…” Eddie blurted, at a vocal register a bit higher than normal.
“No,” Chloe responded, before turning her attention to you. “Where is the blue curacao?”
“How should I know?” you laughed. “Did you check on top of the fridge?”
“Yes, it’s not there.”
You shrugged. “It’s probably gone then.”
“Disappointing,” Chloe replied. “I wanted a blue Hawaiian.”
“I don’t know what to tell you,” you said.
Eddie watched this exchange with wide, incredulous eyes, ping-ponging back and forth between you as if he was watching a tennis match.
“So is this one yours then?” Chloe asked, nodding her head in Eddie’s direction.
“I really like him,” you said simply with a smile. Despite his absurd situation, Eddie felt something warm bloom in his heart.
“So…” Chloe began. “Not up for sharing this one then?”
Eddie nearly choked on nothing.
You looked at him, considering. Your initial reaction was to say no, because you wanted Eddie all to yourself. But Chloe was sexy, and a lot of fun. You shrugged. “Are you up for that?” you asked him matter-of-factly.
“Am I– am I up for what exactly?” Eddie stammered.
“A threesome. With me and Chloe.”
“I uh– oh my god. Uh, I guess? If that’s okay with you two, but sure? Yeah.” Eddie tried and failed to sound nonchalant about it, as if a threesome with two beautiful women was something that just happened.
“Excellent,” Chloe said, stepping forward and kicking the door closed as she pulled her top off over her head in one fluid motion. She knelt beside you, and tossed aside the flimsy fabric that covered Eddie's slightly softened member. “Aw, does someone have some nerves? Don’t worry, we’ll fix that,” she said, and pulled you in for a messy kiss, her sticky lip gloss painting your lips as she lapped into your mouth with her tongue. You moaned softly. Chloe was the perfect sort of filthy, and this was going to be a lot of fun.
You made out sloppily for a moment as Chloe pumped Eddie back up to his full hardness, then she pivoted over to slip her lips around his cock. Eddie tossed his head back and moaned. Chloe’s technique was different from yours; she was more rough and forceful, never afraid to take what pleasure she could while leaving men and women completely spent in her wake. You admired her boldness, and watching her slurp down the object of your affection was absolutely thrilling. Chloe sucked Eddie down so thoroughly, that she would bury her nose in the thatch of his pubic hair before pulling up, gasping, with ribbons of saliva trailing away from her lips. It was filthy.
You climbed up onto the bed as this went on and kissed Eddie, softly at first, then hungrily, and you alternated between nipping his bottom lip with your teeth and licking into his mouth with your tongue. He moaned into your mouth as Chloe slipped one of his balls into her mouth, and she sucked him there as she pumped his cock with her fist. Eddie’s breathing was erratic and quick, and he began to wonder how long he could last. Just when he thought he couldn’t hold on any longer, Chloe stood up, leaving Eddie exposed again, the cooler air from the room chasing Eddie’s climax away.
“Everyone get naked. Now,” Chloe commanded, as she stepped out of the room.
“Where is she going?” Eddie asked as he began to undress.
“Not sure, probably to get some toy,” you said, and you kissed and undressed each other while you waited for her to return. Eddie kissed you deeply and stroked your breasts as you pumped his dick, and shortly Chloe returned. She was naked except for a large strap-on secured around her hips.
“Don’t worry loverboy. You’re hers, so I’m not going to fuck you. Her though,” she nodded toward you, “her I’m going to fuck.”
“Uh, ok,” was all Eddie could manage. He sat back on his heels on the bed as you positioned yourself in front of him on your knees. You slipped your mouth back over Eddie’s cock as Chloe positioned herself behind you. She had already lubed up her appendage, and she slid into you with ease. You gasped around Eddie’s cock as she began to pump into you. Eddie watched as Chloe fucked into you from behind, and then they leaned forward and kissed as you were being spit-roasted. Your moans were choked and drowned out by being so thoroughly filled, but you were never in any danger, and you loved every second of it. You squealed as Chloe hit deep inside, sliding her silicone dick along your inner g-spot and making you see stars as she and Eddie sucked face above you.
It felt so good, so damn good, that your first orgasm arrived quickly, making your legs quiver and you sobbed unintelligible nonsense onto Eddie’s cock as you rode out the waves of pleasure.
“His turn,” Chloe cooed as she slipped out of you, and she unbuckled the straps of her toy and set it aside. You sat up on your knees. “Are you doing alright?” you murmured into Eddie’s mouth as you kissed him.
“Mmmhmm. Oh yes. You?” he replied between kisses.
You nodded. “Oh hell yeah.”
You felt him smile against your mouth, and then you pulled away to lay down in front of him. Chloe laid your head in her lap. “Okay,” she said. “Now fuck her.”
She cradled your head, stroking your forehead and brushing stray whisps of hair away from your face with surprising gentleness as Eddie lifted your leg and placed it on his shoulder. He grasped himself at his base and positioned himself at your entrance. He leaned down to suckle one of your nipples, making you groan as he slid inside.
Eddie started to thrust steadily in and out. Chloe moved her right hand down to your throat and squeezed gently. Not enough to actually choke you, but enough to make little stars appear at the corner of your vision, setting all of your senses alight. The groan that emanated from your lips was enough to make Eddie nearly lose it right then and there.
Your second orgasm slammed into you so quickly that it caught you by surprise, and you squealed and mewled and babbled. Eddie didn’t slow down, however, only picked up his pace, his hips slapping into yours rhythmically.
Chloe gently slid out from under your head and repositioned herself closer to the point at which Eddie and yourself were joined, and she trailed her fingers down your glistening tummy to play with your clit. You arched your back and keened at the dual sensation of your highly sensitive nub being manually stimulated while Eddie fucked you roughly. She gently encircled the sensitive bud with a manicured finger, and Eddie watched, leaning back slightly to grant her better access.
She leaned down and licked across the nub, and with the other hand she reached up to play with Eddie’s balls, sending both of you into paroxysms of delight. Eddie was hitting you so deep, and Chloe’s tongue was sending you reeling straight toward your third orgasm. Chloe grasped the ankle that wasn’t resting on Eddie’s shoulder and held it aloft and she sat up, holding your ankle and gazing down at you as she watched you come apart, rubbing your clit with her fingers.
As you came down from your third orgasm, she got up off the bed, slipped on a robe, and sat in your little desk chair to light a cigarette. “The rest is just for you two lovebirds,” she said as she exhaled a plume of fragrant smoke.
Eddie looked at her briefly before returning his gaze to your face, and his beautiful browns looked directly into yours. He let your ankle slide down to the crook of his arm as he leaned forward, and he cupped your face in his hands before diving in for a sweet kiss. His thrusting had slowed, and he seemed to be reveling in just being with you for a moment before his pace grew more erratic. He stopped kissing you and fucked you to his own completion with his forehead pressed against yours. It was intimate and close, and though Chloe was still watching from her chair, her gaze was no longer predatory, it was something you couldn’t quite describe. It was soft.
Eddie pulled out of you, pumping pearls of his seed onto your soft belly. You panted and sighed happily as you returned to the real world, the cloud you had been residing upon slowly sinking back to the earth. Eddie cleaned you with the same discarded tank top that had acted as his temporary (and futile) modesty barrier, and he planted a kiss against the smooth skin of your hip before he turned to pull his jeans back on.
You sat up and began pulling on your own clothes, Chloe stood up and made her way toward the exit. “Not bad for a last hurrah,” she said, smiling, before she slipped out of the room.
“And then there were two,” you said in an attempt to dispel some of the awkwardness that had settled in the wake of Chloe’s departure. Eddie chuckled.
“Listen,” he said, his smile faltering. “I want you to know that I didn’t come here looking for…that. Or anything like that. I was just stoked you called.”
You smiled. “Oh I know. And even though I did have some ulterior motives for calling you, I think the most I was planning to do was ask you out.” You chuckled. “Not that I mind the outcome.”
Eddie grinned. “No, I certainly don’t mind either.”
“But that will never happen again. I don’t like to share.”
“Understood. But…BUT,” Eddie held up a finger, as if to emphasize a caveat was coming.
“Yeah?” you said, suddenly feeling anxious.
“Before we talk about what’s gonna happen next, don’t you think you should ask me out?”
You laughed. “Eddie Munson, would you like to go on a date with me?”
Eddie nodded. “Hell yes. I hear this new movie Witchboard is pretty good. Wanna go see it with me?”
You could barely contain your grin. “I thought you’d never ask.”

Weekend WIP Game
tagged by the kind and talented @jesuisici33 @wikiangela and @lover-of-mine
Rules: List your WIPs below (if you only write one fic at a time, feel free to include future WIPs/ideas!) then answer the following questions. Then, tag as many people as you have WIPs (or more)
1. WIP List:
come close, let me be home (slow dance fic)
Fantasy AU
Rival Firefighters 🚒
2. Which of your WIPs is currently the longest?
Fantasy AU.
3. Which WIP do you expect will end up the longest?
Definitely Fantasy AU
4. Which WIP is your favourite to write/the most enjoyable to write? Why?
Hmmm I’ve enjoyed aspects from all of them tbh. Fantasy au is so self indulgent cos it’s my favourite genre so writing it is something special. Rival Firefighters is flirty and fun and coming up with banter between Buck and Eddie is always a good time. And the slow dance fic is sweet and soft and I enjoy writing these boys already all gooey in love so yeah ☺️
5. Which WIP do you find the most intimidating to write? Why?
The fantasy au for sure! It’s my favourite genre and I really want to be able to bring what’s in my head into actual written words.
6. Which WIP do you experience the most self-doubt about. Why?
Fantasy au haha for the same reasons as above
7. Which of your WIPs will you seek out a beta/sensitivity reader for? Why?
Fantasy au and probably rival firefighters
8. Have any of your WIPs been struck by the curse of writer’s block?
Yes unfortunately 🤪
9. Which WIP has your favourite OC? Tell us about them?
Fantasy AU has one OC so far and he is not a nice character so definitely not a favourite 😅
10. Which WIP is the sexiest?
Rival Firefighters … even though there most likely won’t be any actual smut until much later in the fic, there will be a lot of sexual tension .. I hope 🤞🏻
11. Which WIP is the angstiest?
Probably fantasy au?
12. Which WIP has the best characterisation (in your humble opinion)?
I have no idea tbh 😅
13. Which WIP has the best scene setting (in your humble opinion)?
Gonna have to go with fantasy au cos it’s in a completely made up realm. I’m very nervous about writing all that cos it’s not my strong suit.
14. Which WIP have you worked the hardest on?
Oh geez … umm fantasy au maybe? Like the notes for that … there’s a lot haha
15. Which WIP do you have the highest expectations for? Why?
Fantasy au and rival firefighters
16. Do you dream about any of your WIPs?
yes. The fantasy au fic actually started as a dream
17. Do any of your WIPs have particular complexities that your other fics don’t?
Yes, the fantasy au has magic and stuff
18. Which WIP is the funniest or has the most humour?
I think rival firefighters
19. Do any of your WIPs contain outside POVs or a deep dive on a character other than the main ship? How are you finding that process?
No
20. Tell us one thing we don’t know about one or more of your WIPs
I’ve actually had the idea for the fantasy au for a few years but the main pairing was going to be Dean & Cas from Supernatural. I kind of fell out of that fandom but the idea stuck with me and the main characters just became two faceless people until Buck and Eddie came along and slotted into place like it had always been meant for them.

Sunny in Philadelphia - A Joseph Quinn Story (Chapter 1)
hey everyone! I’m new to using Tumblr to post my writing but I figured I would give it a try. I have this Joe Quinn story I’ve been working on. It isn’t done and I honestly have to fight to find time to write so I don’t know if it will ever be done but I wanted to share what I have so far and I will share new chapters when/if I can write them. Hope you enjoy (: (also idk what the title is if it’s stupid, I couldn’t come up with anything better lol)
(no mature/sexual content in this part but may eventually be in future parts - Minors caution)
Chapter 1 - Photo Op Surprise
You were in line at Fan Expo Philadelphia waiting for your photo op with Joseph Quinn, who played none other than Eddie "the freak" Munson, your best friend Rachel, who also happened to be your older brother's girlfriend, by your side. You two have been friends since before they were together, matching tattoos and all, so having you as a possible future sister-in-law was a very exciting road for the both of you. She was a bit older than you, 35, the same age as your brother. She liked Stranger Things too, but she didn't quite understand the obsession you had with Joe. She supported you all the same. She hates the city and driving in it but "risked her life," as she would call it, for you to finally meet this man. Cons really weren't her thing either. She just knew how important it was for you and didn't want to leave you going alone.
"Mack, this is it. You've been waiting 6 months for this," she said as you neared the booth curtains, grabbing your arms in excitement.
"Don't remind me, I'm already shaking," you responded through a nervous giggle. You made it to the front of the line just outside the curtains. A Fan Expo worker scanned the QR code from your phone and escorted the two of you through. There was still another curtain between you and the photo booth, but it was opened by the person in front of you just enough that you got a peak at Joe. You exhaled nervously, eyes widening. "Oh my God, it's an all-black outfit today. I'm officially dead," you said to Rachel, earning a laugh from her.
"You'll be fine, just breathe."
The line kept moving forward as each person posed with him. A worker let you inside the second curtain and there were only two people ahead of you. Your hands were shaking, your breath hitched.
"Oh my God, oh my God, oh my God," you were whispering to what you thought was yourself, but Rachel laughing beside you let you know it was louder than you thought. The person right in front of you walked up to Joe, leaving you next in line. Your anxiety peaked and you could feel yourself sweating. Your friend stayed back to let you have your moment when it was time. The person in front of you walked away from Joe and he turned his attention to you. Those big chocolate brown eyes met yours combined with a crooked smile as you walked up to him. "Hi," you managed to force out shyly.
"Hello there," Joe said to you and put his arm around your back, starting to pose for the photo. Your skin tingled under his touch. You smiled up at him in awe and turned to the camera, wrapping an arm around his back, and placing the other hand on his stomach.
Holy shit, ABS, you thought to yourself. You could feel yourself blushing. The camera flashed and you turned to Joe.
"Thank you," you said to him quickly, trying to move along and not hold up the line.
"Enjoy your day," he replied as his arm guided you away on the small of your back, the physical contact and British accent turning your cheeks even more red. You started for the exit curtain, your friend running over to catch up.
"Oh my God, oh my God, oh my God," you started again once both of you were outside the curtain. Rachel laughed and started handing you your bags that you had to leave behind for the photo.
"You did it!" she squealed, grabbing your shoulder.
"I did it," you assured with a smile, your hand shaking as you reached up to tuck a strand of hair behind your ear. "Holy shit, that just happened."
"Hell yeah, it did! I feel like a proud mom," she said, earning a laugh from you.
The two of you followed the path made by curtains out of the booth area and towards the photo pick-up line. Once you were checked out by staff, you walked up to the photo table. Yours was the only one lying there at the time, and you squealed as you picked it up to get your first look at it.
"Oh my God, it looks so good!" You showed Rachel and she smiled. A huge weight was lifted off your shoulders. You didn't have the most confidence and had been worried for months that you would look like a potato standing next to Joe - if your head or body was turned an inch, it wouldn't look right because it wasn't your good angle – but it was PERFECT. You glanced down at his hand around your back and you got a little weak in the knees all over again.
"Look at you! It's so cute!" she said, pointing at your hand on his stomach. You blushed and let out a small squeal.
"I just touched Joseph Quinn's abs," you said aloud, letting out a hitched breath. Rachel laughed and whipped out her phone. Your brother's name showed on her screen. She was getting a FaceTime call. He had a way of having impeccable timing. She swiped across the screen and his face popped up.
"Hey babe, how's it going?" he asked before she could say anything. She turned her phone camera towards you and he saw you holding your photo and smiling excitedly. "Heyyyy, that's awesome! And you didn't die."
"I almost did," you exhaled with a nervous laugh. "I touched Joseph Quinn's abs," you repeated, earning a laugh from him and Rachel. You stared down at your photo as the two of them had a brief conversation since it had been a few days since they saw each other. She hung up the call and you headed towards the hallway.
You got in line at a table where protective sleeves for the photos could be purchased when someone tapped on your shoulder. You turned around to see the worker that had let you into Joe's photo booth.
"Oh, hey," you greeted her curiously, wondering what she could possibly want. She sneakily handed you a folded-up piece of paper and leaned down close to your ear.
"This is for you. From Joseph."
Those words caused your eyes to widen and your extremities to freeze in place.
"F-for me?"
"He told me to give this to the blonde girl with black glasses and white dress that just came through. Pretty sure that's you," she smiled, patting your shoulder as she walked away. You looked at Rachel with a both surprised and confused expression. She shrugged her shoulders, silently agreeing with your emotions.
"Open it," she said excitedly. You grabbed the edge of the paper, struggling to grasp it with still shaking hands. You finally managed to fold it open and there was scribbly handwriting and some numbers.
You are absolutely beautiful, darling. Text me, if I would be so lucky. -JQ
Your eyes widened as you turned to Rachel, who let out a gasp before your eyes made it to her, as she had already read it over your shoulder.
"Oh my God," you said, your voice cracking into almost a whisper.
"You HAVE to text him, Mack," she said, trying to keep her voice down since there were other fans passing close by.
You stared at the note in disbelief. Was this a prank? Am I dreaming? You hadn't pinched yourself, but it was definitely a possibility. The thought crossed your mind that it could have been written by someone else, but you looked closer at the handwriting and you knew it was his. You recognized it from seeing personalized messages he added to his autographs that other fans had shared on the internet from other conventions. As much as your brain was trying to convince you it couldn't possibly be from him, you knew it was, and that was amazing and scary at the same time. Why would he like me? I'm nothing special. He thinks I'M beautiful? HOLY SHIT. Thoughts raced through your mind until you were interrupted by your friend's voice.
"You might want to stash that somewhere before someone sees."
"Good idea," you responded, shaking your head back to reality and sticking the note in your dress pocket.

I'm hesitant to ask this question because a lot of people are really weird but you were patient even with the person being really ridiculous and I have been really confused lately.
Why are so many people who were big buddie shippers shifting to be mainly or even only bucktommy now?
I get multishipping, but in the past when people had other ships they liked they didn't shift so drastically. Most people are now changing their users and everything to be bucktommy/tommy and most of the fanfic writers write only bucktommy now.
Is it just because it is new? Or because Buck being bi is such a big thing? I am on the spectrum and don't do change so maybe it's a me thing but it is just surprising and a little confusing why there is so much of a shift. I remember lots of people shipped Buck/Josh and even Buck/Taylor and Buck/Lucy but there wasn't ever so much of a full focus change.
A lot of people also seemed to suddenly start hating on or just not caring about Eddie too which has made me sad, like he only matters in the context of Buddie shipping. That seems to be mostly on Twitter and tiktok though and those groups of fans have always been a little weird.
Anyway this is very long and I understand if you don't want to answer, especially with all the discourse lately.
Hi! Honestly I’m always happy to answer questions like yours where you are genuinely asking a question and not just coming in with accusations and nonsense to start drama
I can really only speak for myself, but I think other people would probably agree with my reasoning, so:
I think a good chunk of it probably is because it’s new, yeah. I love buddie so much and nothing could ever change that, but it is fun to have this new dynamic to work with. For me especially, I’m enjoying writing bucktommy a ton right now, because I haven’t written outside of buddie in, well, years actually because even before I dove in headfirst in 2021 I hadn’t really been writing much of anything. So it’s fun to have new toys to play with.
And honestly, at least as far as my dash and my friends go, I don’t think any of us are only bucktommy shippers now, it’s just getting the major focus right now because it’s new and it’s playing out on our screens. I’m still seeing plenty of new buddie fics, metas, and gifsets coming out amongst the bucktommy
Like, my last fic was bucktommy, and my next one will be too, but I still have lots of buddie fic brewing, and I know I’ll still be coming up with tons of new ideas for them too. But it probably seems like I’ve done a hard shift, because it is only what I’m working on right now. But that’s just temporary, and I’m sure it is with others as well.
As for hating on or not caring about Eddie, that is definitely something I have not seen. I can’t say it isn’t happening, of course, because I only follow around 100 people and rarely venture off my dash, but if you’re seeing it here I would encourage you to curate your dash better, and stay away from twitter and TikTok because those places are cesspools for fandom.
To circle back to why bucktommy is getting this treatment over the other ships you mentioned, again, I can only speak for myself, but it’s because Tommy is such a compelling character. I’m fascinated by the character set up through the begins episodes to now, and I like thinking about him. I’m not saying other characters haven’t been compelling, but they just haven’t grabbed my attention in a way that makes me want to write about them the way he has.
I hope I was able to address all your questions

For clarification, I was a Buddie shipper for the longest time, but because of recent episodes I’ve kinda abandoned ship.
I think that we (tumblr, reddit, Twitter) see the show differently than the general audience. I think there’s a lot of people who dig into things that don’t actually mean anything and call it in the name of Buddie. I shipped them because narratively it made the most sense, but I 100% think the shirt colors/water/beer theories aren’t complete and utter bullshit. Like, I enjoy reading them, but they aren’t anything. These are writers who 1: can’t remember their own details 2: are very open about any sort of metaphor, like the couch thing. The couch metaphor for a relationship was said on screen, it was real. Everything else is grasping. I’m an actor, I’ve gone through costume fittings before, I’ve seen wardrobe trailers, I’ve had a costumer. In a show that’s this expensive and that’s running this long, they will wear the same stuff a few times. Blue and green look best on screen. They can’t use product placement of real items. There’s a lot of reasons for stuff in the show that doesn’t have to do with Buddie and it makes me, and many others, not take Buddie seriously when people say things like “the lightning strike is the baking soda and it’s standing in the way of the beer which is their relationship” Nope. That’s just set dressing and props doing their job. “They made 3 s’mores because one represents Buck!” No… it represents Shannon, that was in the episode.
I also don’t think Buck and Eddie are a slowburn. Or if they are, and this is something they’ve planned out, they’ve done a terrible job. The point of a slowburn is for the audience to see, to feel, to root for the characters to get together. It has to be really obvious that it’s happening, albeit slowly. That it grows and they are so in love, and there’s feelings, and it’s a big will they won’t they. Buck and Eddie had a foundation for this, but the general audience can still call them brothers or platonic friends. Meaning that it’s not clearly romantic and therefore not a slowburn. It could be, if they wanna have Eddie really hate Natalia and openly reveal feelings for Buck even just to himself and let that drive them into season 7, then yes we would have an actual slowburn. It’s not impossible and it’s not too far gone, but if they keep down the path they’re on where it’s tumblr users grasping, it will be.
I also just think they’re writing the characters in circles and until they break out of that, there’s no hope for anything. I mean anything, romantically or not. Buck is currently a headache, at least Eddie seems to be having some growth, but his is also tied to a relationship and people telling him to date and him thinking he has to… ugh
so I actually mostly agree with you, but I think this might be a case of missing the forest for the trees.
I'm definitely with you that a lot of the fandom theories are...not realistic. I'm actually intimately familiar with how wardrobe and costume design operates on shows like 9-1-1 through my job, and I have never in my life heard of wardrobe operating on a set the way fans theorize they do. Not to say that things like color never mean anything, they can absolutely be used very intentionally (and are, by good designers), but they have very different reasons for making choices than what is popularly discussed here. (baby rant on costume metas->on a show like 9-1-1, the most important factor—beyond making your actors look good—is making their wardrobe choices believably human. It's about psychology and fleshing out character; it's rarely about storytelling. What would this real life person have in their closet? How would they choose to present themself in this setting? I'd also say there are some things the fandom DOES pick up on that I read as intentional, but on a show as big as 911, its a little silly to assume every outfit has a deeper meaning)
I also agree with your general point that people read a little too deep into metaphors and symbolism that aren't there on a textual level. You're right that the creators make it VERY obvious when those things are in play—because 911 wasn't a show that was made to be analyzed. Again, not saying that there's nothing to pick up on; I think it's pretty obvious Eddie's on the journey to find his soulmate, and I think it's pretty obvious Natalia isn't Buck's endgame, because they made it clear in the text. But that doesn't mean that every detail is put in to give hints on what's coming. It's a goofy procedural, it's not high art. I don't know how many people really believe those theories vs. how many people just have fun with them (like me), but I get what you're saying about it seeming really silly to anyone outside the bubble.
But re: missing the forest for the trees, I do think it's a little sad to get bogged down by the theories so much that it takes you out of digesting the actual media. You said that you "shipped them because narratively it made the most sense," and I guess I wonder if you don't think it makes narrative sense anymore, or if the popular theories seem so off the wall that you've written off any subtext that's actually coming from the show. And either is fine, but I remain firmly on the "it makes the most narrative sense" side of the aisle, although for more textual reasons than the goofy theories entertain (and I follow a lot of excellent blogs that do the same)
I think that you're really spot on with the slowburn aspect—s2-6a buddie was a developing close friendship, and a beautifully done one in my opinion. But it didn't read to me as romantic while watching casually, it read to me as a really significant platonic partnership. And I so agree that it's a really phenomenal foundation for an actual slowburn. After watching the episode last night, I think that might be the direction they're headed, and I don't think I'd feel that way if not for the couch of it all. But I've said it a few times on here, I don't see any way that this is the final act of their slowburn, because I don't feel there's been any burn yet. The fact that I'm starting to think there might be a reveal to the GA, a real will they/won't they, is what has me so firmly on the buddie canon train right now.
And yeah, Buck going in circles is how I'd put it, too. But as I said it to another anon, I get the feeling that this is the last circle for Buck before his series-long journey for happiness and self worth ends. I actually love the aspect of solving one problem with his perspective only to unearth another, deeper problem, but I can only watch that large man be sad in the exact same way so many times. As for Eddie's dating adventures, I'm feeling like they're making it clear that even though Pepa was the one to push him into it, he is actually interested in finding a partner for the right reasons.
Anyways, seems like we mostly agree and I'm either more optimistic or more delusional than you—only time will tell! Thanks for sharing your thoughts with me
drop your thoughts/theories/speculation on why you don't think buddie will go canon in my ask box because I'm curious (I'll be nice I promise)
I'm tagging all these posts with #anti-buddie and #buddie-neg if you want to filter
#ive tried to keep my mouth shut about my side eyes at the theories but i invited negativity into my asks#so i kinda corned myself into revealing my True Feelings on it#theyre fun! i enjoy the fun of them! but please do not take them seriously im begging#i take even the ones i think might be intentional with a grain of salt#bc its kind of hilarious how often things that look like intentional symbolism are actually just happy accidents#or unhappy accidents if you project too much meaning onto them and they turn out not to be true#anti buddie#buddie neg#ask a bean

Hi! I’ve been rereading your Buddie fics and first of all not even including the panty-dropping romance that I love so much, you might be the funniest writer I have ever read i swear i’m having to incorporate kegels into my work outs because I can’t keep almost pissing myself. i love your fics so much! Second and this is a little embarrassing because I’ve followed you for so long but I love all the little jokes you make comparing buck’s mannerisms to dog ones. I read a fic a few months ago that was kind of a whole metaphor for how buck loves eddie like a golden retriever and i thought you’d written it but i can’t find it on your ao3 😅 or anywhere in my browser history. did you take it down or have I completely mixed up ao3 authors in which case my apologies! Either way thank you for taking the time to write fanfic for this fandom, your Halloween fics brightened up my life so much and I’ve been loving rereading the older stuff too 🩷
Hello dear! First off, I am deeply flattered by how much you enjoy my writing - especially that you love the humor! I've never thought of myself as a particularly funny person so it's really been wonderful the last few years writing fanfiction and seeing people's responses and realizing there are people who share my sense of humor.
I'm afraid that I didn't write the fic you're thinking of, at least as far as I know. It doesn't ring any bells, although maybe there's a chapter in Fractals from the Lightning Bolt that I've forgotten about. Frankly the only Buck-as-a-dog metaphor fic I can think of is uh. It's. Uh. Um.
*coughs*
Anyway. I'm sorry I can't be of much help but I hope you're able to find the fic you're looking for! I'm delighted you enjoyed my Halloween fics this year, and flattered you like my writing enough to want to reread stories I've done. You've made my day.

So I feel a little dumb because it just clicked that you were the same person who wrote the Rewrite series, Day by Day series, No one knew series etc etc. I have no idea why it never clicked before lol. I’ve read them all, some a few times, left comments on them, I even mentioned how Rewrite was my now top 3 favorite buddie fics on Ao3 on one of the chapters. Obviously read the author name on them all, but still never actually connected the dots until the bts on day by day series I just read ☠️ so now that it has connected I can easily say your my top 3 favorite buddie authors as well!
Anywho, can I humbly submit for day by day either a pov change for Adriana during her and Eddie’s big fight (either the hospital after the accident or his backyard ) or bts of your favorite part in the Day by Day series. Or if I can be greedy and ask for both I will 😅😂 otherwise I am perfectly fine with which ever option you decide to go with!
Oh my god, don’t feel dumb at all. You’re so sweet and I’m so happy you enjoyed all of those series so far! It means so much that you’ve read them and taken the time to comment and the time to bring it up and follow and engage here! I can’t thank you enough for that. It’s crazy to think that people my like my writing that much.
I really wish I had the energy to give you both tonight gosh sufhsdfh. I hope a BTS is enough? I just finished a run after working and I have dinner on so I figured this is the perfect time to try and answer this. 🙂
This argument. This argument! I wasn’t sure which big argument you would prefer so I’m going to go into the one at the hospital because oh my gooooooood I had some lines in that that I absolutely broke myself writing. It’s directly after the Sunday scene of Buck and Eddie’s fight which I wish I could say I did on purpose but really it just ended up being there. I remember sitting on my couch writing it at, like, ten at night when I had work the next day and this being when I realized that I really needed to make this two parts instead of one. That being said, let’s dive into it.
The entire time Adriana was at the hospital, she very clearly had a one track mind. And, like Eddie, I wanted us to sort of rationalize it. Her kids had just been in an accident - it makes sense that she would be more worried about them than she would be about anyone else. And it’s important to note, in my opinion, that Adriana wasn’t really forgetting Buck was there out of malice. Her mind literally didn’t go there. It was very much centered around her children, the same way Eddie’s would have been if Chris was in the accident. And Eddie, before the accident, very much falls into this… role that he’s always been placed in with Adriana and Sophia and rushes to comfort her even when he needs comfort himself. He’s the big brother, it’s what he does.
But he’s clearly not thinking straight. He saw Buck at the scene, he knows how bad he was. Eddie can conceptualize everything that’s happening with the doctors and that them having no news is, for the moment, good news because it means they’re still working. He’s not worried about Henry or Liana and Vince. He was at the scene with them, he knows they’re, for the most part, fine.
Their argument starts with a misunderstanding and it’s during that confrontation of it that Eddie realizes that Adriana, visibly, doesn’t care at all about the man that saved her children. Adriana dragged him outside to have the confrontation because, like Eddie, she doesn’t like to argue around her children. They were raised in a house where their parents fought loud and they fought long, they’re both products of the same upbringing they just… internalized what happened differently.
“So you lied.” Adriana set her jaw and glared in his direction. “You lied to me.”
“I didn’t lie to you!”
“You did!”
Realization was like dawn breaking. He froze, his eyes searching for some clue on her that told him he was wrong. Adriana wasn’t selfish, not like this. Perhaps she was worried, and that worry was clouding her judgment.
But Eddie was so tired of being rational with her. He was so tired of having a thought out, restrained response to whenever Adriana said or did something wrong. He was tired, he was frustrated, and Eddie was very much clouded with fear and worry himself and so he threw rationalization out of the window. “No estaba hablando de Vince.” He said with gritted teeth.
This right here is a big changing point in this series. So far, Eddie has been very passive in how he’s stood up to his family. He left Christmas dinner, he told Adriana to leave, etc. But this frustration had been building up and it all exploded due to a number of reasons, the main one being stress. He’s not okay. His boyfriend isn’t okay. Eddie doesn’t know how to handle being the one on the outside waiting for news that everything is going to go back to normal. And he snaps, the same way we’ve seen Eddie do in canon, only he snaps verbally instead of with physical altercations (re: fight club, baseball bat). And Adriana? She’s not used to it.
She’s the sort to bait Eddie into a fight but then quickly back down when he decides to fight back. It’s not necessarily that Eddie is passive, more that he doesn’t really see the point in arguing so he ends it before it can really begin by just… walking away. So the moment he snaps back at her, Adriana recoils and tries to fix the situation.
“What?” She shook her head. “No, whatever, it doesn’t matter. Vince is fine, Liana is getting a cast -.”
And the next part, oh my god, had I been dreaming about adding in the next part for weeks.
“I don’t care!” A couple passing by halted, stunned by the crack in his voice. Eddie didn’t yell, as a rule of thumb he didn’t yell. Buck didn’t like it, Chris didn’t like it, Eddie didn’t like it. Yelling didn’t solve a problem. But yell he did, and it ripped out of him like a rawr, Adriana flinching back like he had shot a gun in her face. “I don’t care that Liana is getting a cast! I don’t care that Vince is fine!”
Adriana pulled herself together quickly, though, far too used to trading him blow for blow. They used to argue all the time when they were children, about stupid things and about meaningful things and about everything in between. It was a side effect of their age, or maybe Eddie had always disliked her the way she disliked him. “You don’t care about your family?” She asked with her chin held high and her eyes flashing in danger. She stepped closer and Eddie didn’t step back, tilting his chin to stare almost defiantly back in her direction.
“I care about my family!” He was on the verge of tears, he realized, the sting pulling at his eyes like bees. He swallowed them down. Adriana used to make fun of Sophia when she cried when she was angry - crying when you yell really ruins the effect, she had teased. It had just made Sophia cry more. “My family is in there -.”
"Your family is Vince and Liana!”
“My family is Buck!”
Adriana has a lot of gumption. She’s got a lot of gall. And she’s never really had Eddie fight back with her and, if he did, it was never in this manner. He didn’t like yelling and so he usually didn’t do it. She wasn’t used to Eddie getting on her level.
Moreover, it’s got to sting, right? To have someone yell at you and say they don’t care? Especially when you’re trying to scold them? Adriana was embarrassed, but she was also floored. Eddie is trying very hard to hold on before this, but Adriana confronting him and not accepting his very understandable mistake and, once again, overlooking Buck’s place in his life, sends him over the edge.
I can’t tell you the amount of times someone has confronted me with something and I’ve had to think about things logically even when I didn’t want to. Where I had to put their emotions ahead of my own even if the situation involved me. I figure Eddie, in this series and in canon, is much the same. So him shouting I don’t care isn’t because he doesn’t actually care that Adriana is worried, it’s that he doesn’t care that she’s angry. He doesn’t care that he accidentally upset her. He’s upset, he’s been on the verge of breaking down since walking into that hospital and, like Sophia points out, it’s bringing up a lot of memories he’d rather keep buried. So he doesn’t care. Because Adriana’s family is going to be fine. Eddie’s family might not ever come back home.
“You know the guy that was driving the car?” Eddie moved so that he was in her way, forcing her gaze onto his. Her eyes were swimming with tears but he didn’t stop. He couldn’t stop. Even if he wanted to. The words poured out of him like someone had pulled a stopper from his throat. “I told you not to ask him. And you still did. And because he thinks he’s not worth anything if he’s not useful he agreed. Because he wants you to like him.”
“I never -.”
“Shut! Up!”
Adriana’s mouth hung open, like his rage had stolen her breath. “You have been terrible to us since you found out. And I don’t know what it is, Adri, I really don’t but Buck has done nothing to deserve this… this… disregard from you.”
“I didn’t think -.”
“No!” He swiped his hand through the air. “I don’t care what you thought or what you didn’t think! He is in there dying because you didn’t think!”
“That’s not fair!” Adriana countered. “I wasn’t driving that car!”
“He was only in the car because you asked!”
“He agreed -!”
“Will you stop justifying yourself!” A tear trickled down his cheek without his notice and Eddie swiped it away with a vicious fist. Adriana tracked it with wide, watery eyes, her bottom lip quivering. “I don’t care that mami and papi thought I was the perfect kid. I don’t care that you hate me now. I don’t care that your kid has a broken arm or that your husband is okay. I don’t care that you asked him and he agreed. I don’t care because we got into a goddamn fight this morning because he was worried about your kids. Because he is in there fighting for his life and you don’t have the decency to ask how he is.”
Adriana doubles down. She’s not used to being the one to say I’m sorry. Usually Eddie will give in first just to stop the argument, or Sophia or Helena would come in to smooth over the edges. She even thinks about it, for a moment, when people start coming outside. She even feels guilty when she realizes Eddie’s crying. Goading someone into an argument doesn’t feel nearly as much as fun as it could when the person starts yelling back, and they’re actually making a point.
But this is a big moment for Eddie. He’s never argued back with her. She’s been rude and she’s been entitled. She’s shouted things at him and she hasn’t respected him, his relationship, or his authority in his own house. As much as it hurts to have his pain so visible, it’s such a big step from him hiding it inside just to explode outwards later.
And it all cumulates in the next part:
“It’s not about the fucking car!” Her shoulders jumped. “Buck had a seizure when we got here. He didn’t know where the fuck he was at the scene. And he still made sure your kids got out of the car safe.” Her own tear blinked out of her eyes, trailing down her cheek and curling over her chin to drip onto the collar of her shirt. “I need you to get something, Adriana.” She didn’t look at him but fine, fine, Eddie would tell her his terms anyway. “I don’t care if he’s okay or not, you’re done.”
“What?” Her question was small, her eyes flipping open to finally meet his own.
“You’re done.” Eddie said around a sardonic laugh, shrugging as though the words were stabbing him in the heart. “I’m done. We’re done. I don’t… I love you so much. But I can’t do this anymore.”
“Eddie -.”
“No! You did this to Shannon. You’ve done this to Buck. I deserve better than this.”
Eddie is rightfully enraged on Buck’s behalf but it’s important to note that he’s mostly hurt on his own. Adriana is his sister. He always believed that, if he needed her, Adriana would put aside their differences and be there for him - largely because he’d do that for her without ever being asked. But he’s come to realize the thing that he always feared to be true - Adriana doesn’t extend him the same kindness and she never will. So while the backdrop of this entire thing is this horrible accident and this gripping fear for whether Buck would be okay or not… the main theme is learning to let go of someone you love. Mourning someone who hasn’t died. Making the decision that you deserve better than the way you’ve been treated.
Adriana doesn’t even believe him at first - she actually needs to hear it for a second time later on in the chapter for it to really sink in for her that Eddie’s not playing around but setting a hard boundary in place with her
Deciding to leave a family member is incredibly difficult and I haven’t met one person who has gone no-contact with a family member that would tell you that it’s easy. But sometimes it’s necessary.

Hey love! Hope you're doing well ❤
Just wanted to say that I'm loving your Yes, No, Maybe series! You write for Eddie so wonderfully ❤
I was also just wondering, in the second part there is a tiny joking mention of punishment, would a more established Dom/sub relationship be a potential end goal for this plotline or is something you're looking to avoid?
Purely out of curiosity as I love seeing where writers take their ideas!
Hello!! Every complement I get leaves me so overwhelmed with positivity, I’m so happy people have been enjoying the series 💓 As far as them venturing into more hard kinks and dom/sub dynamics, I really see them both as switches (even tho I’ve primarily shown dom!Eddie sub!reader), so it would def be a bit more open. Since the whole series is about trying new stuff in bed I def can see both of them wanting to explore both roles wholeheartedly. Honestly, not sure what the end goal of the series is, cuz it’s mostly just a vessel for me to write any sort of filth that comes to mind 😂😂 but obviously the progression of what they try from the list is gonna get slightly more risqué

hey i just read all of the more you give and oh my god!!! like if i can get sappy for a second, im 22 and i’ve never been in a relationship and i feel like with eddie and reader you’ve perfectly captured high school/young love where they’re trying to figure themselves out, as well as what a relationship even is, and how to be in love, you know? it was just so cool to get to experience that through them since i haven’t had it for myself, if that makes sense? idk i think i could write an essay about this fic, you did such an amazing job <3
Well, here's a fun fact, I'm 24 and also haven't so we're both of us living vicariously through shy reader and Eddie.
Stuff happens to different people at different times. Such is life and I hope you don't feel like you've missed out, because you haven't. But I also know the yearning (TM) so I'm glad to hear that my wee self indulgent fic is giving you the warm fuzzies.
I have said before and will say again but I am really proud of it so far. I do enjoy writing shy reader and sweet Eddie, and it's so lovely to hear that the people who enjoy it, enjoy it so much. So thank you (◍•ᴗ•◍)✧*。

「 celebrate good times 」
eddie munson x fem reader
summary: eddie is finally graduating, and - as his best friend - you make sure he gets the celebration he deserves.
requested: no
word count: 4k
warnings: pet names (honey/hon, princess, baby, etc), reader being anxious
a/n (1): i attended a graduation party a few weekends ago and all i could think about was eddie getting the graduation party he deserves. like he’d just be so overwhelmed with joy - even if he doesn’t outwardly express it. anyways, i hope you enjoy this fluffy little piece Xx
a/n (2): so so so sorry i haven’t posted a fic in probably a month and a half/two months. college has been busy - as it always is. if i ever get down time, i’m usually trying to sleep and take some ‘me time,’ bc i don’t get it otherwise. i hope i’ve still got some people here though willing to read my fics. i love you guys & am really hoping i can’t get some writing done soon again so i can post more for all of you Xx
“The class of 1986!”
As rounds of applause and cheers permeate the gymnasium after Principal Higgins’ announcement of the newly graduated class, you find yourself smiling wider than ever before. Even wider than you did on your own graduation day.
Your best friend has finally graduated, and you couldn’t be any happier or more proud. He’s worked so hard to get here, and you only hope you can treat him to the full experience that he rightfully deserves.
“I told you it was ‘86, baby!” Eddie smiles, arms open wide in grandeur as he jumps off the makeshift stage to greet you and his uncle.
“l didn’t doubt you for a second, Eds.”
“I’m just glad you made it, son. I’m…well, I’m proud of you.” Wayne congratulates, and you know he’s emotional even if he’s not showing it.
Wayne has raised Eddie for a good twelve years at least, and he’s glad to say he’s done a far better job than his brother ever could. Although he hates that his brother followed the family legacy and practically left Eddie behind, he’s proud that Eddie is trying to do better than either of them - Wayne or his father - ever tried to.
It’s hard to watch the kid you raised grow up to be an adult right in front of your eyes, though, regardless of how proud he is.
“Ah, c’mere.”
You can’t help but chuckle at the sight of Eddie pulling his uncle into a hug, but it warms your heart all the same. They’re the only blood the two of them have, and it’s nice that they’re so close.
“You too, honey. Get in here.” Eddie coaxes, reaching out for you where you stand to the side of them.
As he grabs your waist and pulls you into the hug, you can’t help but let out a gasped giggle which brings a smile to both of the mens’ faces. Eddie is simply always happy to see you happy, but Wayne is more pleased with the fact that you make Eddie happy.
It didn’t take long at all for Wayne to welcome you into their little family after you and Eddie became friends back in late elementary school. He could tell that his nephew had an immediate soft spot for you - and that you had one for him - and that’s all he needed to know.
Ever since, he’s seen you as a daughter, because he’s sure that sooner or later you will be in a sense. It’s clear to him that both you and Eddie love each other, even if you haven’t yet figured it out yourselves.
“Eds, you’re squishing me.” You chuckle, trying to pinch his side as you hug him and his uncle.
“Sorry, hon. Guess I’m just a little too happy today.”
Smiling, you smooth out your sundress as the three of you pull away from the hug.
“You deserve to be, Eddie. It’s definitely been your year, just like you said it would. You deserve to celebrate it.”
“Yeah? Well how does pizza and movies sound?”
“You want to celebrate your graduation with pizza and movies? Two things we do just about every week as is?” You question, a little skeptical that he doesn’t have any other ideas.
“Do you have a better idea, princess?”
“I might. Let’s take a few more pictures and then head home first, though.”
Eddie can’t help but raise his brows at your statement, only one idea running through his head at your innocuous response. Surely you don’t mean what he’s thinking though. Not when Wayne is standing right here with the both of you, and the two of you have never done anything of the sort. You’re best friends. Still, he can’t help but wonder what you’re up to.
~.~
Wayne can’t help but shake his head at you, which you don’t miss, as the three of you get closer to the trailer park. You’re practically bouncing in the center seat of the truck with all the nervous, excited energy coursing through you.
Since the beginning of April, when you found out for sure that Eddie would be graduating, you’ve been planning a graduation party for him. He deserves it more than anyone, and you know that Wayne wouldn’t know where to start with one, never having one himself either.
Of course you made sure Wayne was included in the planning from the get-go after you first approached him with the idea. He was Eddie’s uncle, and sole blood relative in his life, after all. You couldn’t throw Eddie a party and not invite him.
Albeit being a bit hastily put together with only a month of planning, you and Wayne were determined to give the lovable metalhead “freak” you both hold dear a graduation party. You would spend the mornings over at the trailer with Wayne, running things over while Eddie was at school, and then you’d spend evenings with Eddie acting as if there was nothing out of the ordinary happening right under his nose.
You planned out the food and beverages, the music, the time and place, the guest list…anything and everything that goes into planning a graduation party you managed to do in a month. You even roped in - bribed - Steve and the kids to get the party set up while you were at graduation for Eddie, because it would surely be suspicious if you missed watching him walk the stage.
Containing your excitement has always been difficult, but it’s even harder to do when it’s a surprise for your best friend. You’re dying to see his reaction, hoping that he’ll appreciate the idea and not be upset that you did this without his permission.
“You okay, honey? I think you’re more excited than I’ve been all day, and I’m the one that graduated.”
“’M fine, Eds.”
“Positive?”
“Mhm. I am excited, but can you really blame me? My best friend finally graduated from the hellhole that is Hawkins High.”
“Mm, I guess I can’t, but you’re still far too excited in my opinion.” Eddie smiles, snaking an arm around your waist and pulling you closer to him on the bench seat.
Wayne doesn’t miss the little action, of course, but says nothing as the two of you have been like this for years now. He knows that as soon as he says something then things will get awkward between you. He’d honestly just rather watch the two of you figure it out yourselves, no matter how painful it might be at times. He’s sure it’ll happen sooner or later.
“You’ll just have to deal with it, then.” You quip, smiling as he gives you a skeptical side eye.
As he smiles and shakes his head, however, you feel the smooth asphalt change to the bumpy gravel of the trailer park and you start to bounce in excitement yet again. A month of planning is coming to light in less than two minutes. How can anyone expect you to sit still?
“What’s going on?” Eddie questions, dragging out the question as he notices the large amount of people outside the trailer.
“I didn’t do anything, Wayne. I swear.”
“I know you didn’t, Eddie. This is all y/n’s doing.” He ever so slightly smirks, glancing between his nephew and you.
“Y/n?”
You can’t help the soft, albeit unsure, smile that settles on your lips as Eddie looks out the windshield as the truck comes to a stop, Wayne parking and sliding out of the vehicle, leaving you and Eddie alone.
“Congrats on Graduating, Eds.”
“Y/n…”
“I wanted you to be able to celebrate with everyone that cares for you.” You explain, watching him as he takes all of it in, abnormally quiet.
“You…you planned a party for me?”
“Wayne and I did, yeah. What do you think?”
“I can’t believe you, hon. I love it.“
“Yeah?”
“Mhm, thank you. I…I never expected to have one of these. Wayne…”
“I know, Eds. That’s why I wanted to do it. You deserve it, munch.”
“Thank you.” He murmurs, wrapping you up tight in his arms.
“How about we go join the party, yeah? Everyone’s waiting on you.”
He nods, smiling, before he opens his door and slides out. Before you can move to do the same though, he’s got his arms around you pulling you out of the truck himself.
Giggling, you can’t help but smile as he sets you down before pressing a kiss to your hairline. He can’t believe that you’d go through all of the planning of a party just for him. You’ve always treated him well and made him feel special, but this is going above and beyond.
Truthfully, he’s not sure there’s enough words to express just how grateful he is at the moment. All he can think to do is to kiss you, but you’re only friends. Anything but a forehead kiss might make things a little awkward.
As he lets his lips linger at your hairline, though, all he can do is smile and it’s nearly impossible to stop. He’s honestly not sure what he’d ever do without you. Not when you make his heart race and make him feel seen.
“I can’t believe you did this for me.” He mutters, smiling and sighing as he grabs your hand in his.
“You deserve it more than anyone, Eds. You worked hard to get here, and we wanna celebrate it with you.” You state, squeezing his hand in yours before leading the two of you out from behind his Uncle’s truck.
Eddie still looks awed by you as you drag him into the throes of his party, a soft smile on his lips and fondness in his eyes. He’s never felt more lucky in his life, but he’s got you and that’s got to be done with the greatest luck in the world.
“Congrats, man!” Steve calls, smiling as soon as you and Eddie come into view, taking notice of your intertwined hands.
Though neither of you know it, all your friends have bets on when the two of you will get together. Your feelings for each other are so obvious that it’s really all they can do to not go crazy with the constant “not flirting.”
“Thanks, Harrington. It’s nice to see you.”
Before anything more can be said between the two men, Eddie’s being attacked by the three freshmen he’s taken under his wing, nearly being knocked over by the force of their group hug.
“You did it, man! You graduated!” Dustin smiles, patting his dungeon master’s back.
“Told you that ‘86 was my year, didn’t I?”
“Yeah, but it’s weird to think you won’t be there next year.”
“I’ll still be around, dude. Gotta make sure you’re taking care of those lost lambs.” Eddie teases, ruffling the boy’s hair as all three of them promise that they will.
All you can do is watch on with a fond smile as Eddie begins to play fight with the younger boys. It’s only when Steve bumps your shoulder with his do you pull your eyes away from Eddie.
“It’s a nice party, y/n. You did good.”
“Yeah? Thanks, Steve. And thank you for getting it set up. I owe you one.” You smile, letting Steve pull you into a side hug as your attention drifts back to Eddie.
“Don’t worry about it. It’s a really nice thing you’re doing for him, and I’m glad I could help.”
“Have you given him his gift yet?” He questions after a moment while Eddie gets pulled into a conversation by someone else.
“Not yet. Planned on giving it to him later, towards the end of the party.”
“Don’t want anyone to see you confessing your love to him, huh?”
You scoff, rolling your eyes as you swat at Steve’s chest. He’s always teased you for your feelings towards the metalhead, even when you never officially told him them. He just knows, and you really kind of hate it sometimes.
“I’m not confessing my love to him, dipshit. It’s just a gift.”
“If it is, then why haven’t you given it to him yet?”
“Shut up, Steve. I don’t need to explain myself to you.”
“Never said you did, but you’d and I both know it’s not just a gift you’re giving him, don’t we?”
“Go find someone else to bother.” You huff, shoving him off with no real conviction. He’s not wrong, even if you won’t admit it.

As the sky fades into different shades of the sunset, you find yourself sitting on the Munson’s little patio, watching Eddie laugh along with your guys’ friends as they chase each other with water balloons. It’s nice to see him just enjoying himself with no worries whatsoever.
“Ahh! You’re gonna get it!” Dustin threatens, chasing a laughing Eddie who’s running towards you.
“Can’t now! Y/n’s the safe spot.” Eddie calls, clambering up the stairs behind you as Dustin hovers in front of you - you just watching on in amusement.
“There was no safe spot!”
“There is now.”
“Cheater.” Dustin huffs, glaring at the man now squatting behind you.
As Dustin stalks away, pouting but not challenging the older man, Eddie starts to laugh from behind you.
“That was a bit mean, Eds.” You state, trying to give him a pointed look but a smile finds itself a place on your lips as you look at him from over your shoulder.
“He’ll deal with it. Wanted to come see you, honey.” Eddie smiles, pressing a kiss to your forehead as he settles himself into a sitting position behind you, you being positioned between his legs.
“Yeah? You’re seeing me.”
“I am.”
There’s no stopping the smile that grows on your face at his unintentionally sultry voice while he wraps an arm around your waist, leaning his head on your shoulder.
“How are you liking your party?”
“I love it. Thank you again, princess. You know exactly how to make a man feel special.”
“I wouldn’t say that, necessarily, munch. I just wanted to give you what you deserve.” You giggle, shivering lightly as the cool water from the balloons drips off his hair onto your bare shoulder.
“I appreciate it nonetheless, hon. You’re amazing. The bestest friend anyone could dream of having, and yet you’re all mine, aren’t you?”
“All yours, Eds. Wouldn’t trade you in for anything.”
“Good, because I think it’s about time you get involved in the party you planned.” He states, and you can hear the smirk in his voice.
“Eddie…what’re you do-OH!” You shriek, cold water dropping over you as he pops a balloon above your head. Thank god you had forgone a white sundress in favor of a darker, floral one.
“You asshole!”
You can’t help but bite back a smile as Eddie laughs, wrapping both arms around your waist in a tight hug. You’re so going to get him back when he’s not expecting it, but for now you’re just going to enjoy being in his arms.
~.~
“Thank you again for coming.” You smile, waving goodbye to the last of Wayne’s friends, some of them arriving late after their morning/afternoon shift ended.
Yours and Eddie’s friends had left about a half hour ago now after the kids were practically falling asleep around the little fire you got going. You didn’t want their parents to worry about them, so you and Eddie got Max over to her trailer, while Nancy drove her brother home. Steve then offered to drive Dustin and Lucas home, but not without another teasing comment whispered in your ear as you hugged him goodbye.
“Was that the last of them?” Eddie questions, coming to stand behind you, a hand on your waist as you watch the older man drive away.
“I believe so. You had a lot of people show up, Eds.”
“Surprisingly, yeah. I would’ve been happy with just you and Wayne, though, you know.”
“I know, but this was fun, wasn’t it?”
“Definitely. Thank you, honey. I really can’t thank you enough.” He sighs, soft smile on his lips as he gently moves to lead the two of you inside.
“You don’t need to thank me, Eds. I wanted to do this for you.”
“Which I still can’t understand. How did I get so lucky to have you in my life?”
“Oh hush up. You’re flattering me again, munch.” You huff, cheeks warm as you try to deflect all the affection being thrown around.
“Because you deserve it. I never pictured myself having such an amazing best friend.”
“I think I’m the one with the amazing best friend, Eds.”
As he chuckles and shakes his head, you let him lead you into the trailer, blinking at the difference in light.
“Careful, princess. Flattery works with me, remember.”
“How could I forget? Go get changed, Eddie. I’ve got one last surprise for you.” You smile, fidgeting with your fingers ever so slightly as the idea of giving him his gift brings about a surge of nervousness.
“Another one? Y/n, you’ve done more than enough. I can’t-“
“Yes, you can. Or so help me god, because I’ve purposely held onto this one for you to open.”
Aside from your stomach doing somersaults, your heart is racing - not only making it difficult to breathe, but making your entire body shake. Although you and Eddie have been friends for years now, you’re worried how he’ll take this gift. It’s a bit more personal and sentimental than anything you’ve ever gifted him, and you’re not sure you could handle him rejecting it.
Eddie frowns as he notices the waver in your voice. You’re nervous, which isn’t necessarily all that unusual, but unusual for when it comes to him.
Grabbing your hands in his, he mindlessly squeezes your fidgeting fingers before sending you a soft smile. This last surprise of yours must be important to you, but he’s not sure what it could possibly be. All he knows is he doesn’t want you to be nervous. Not around him.
“You really didn’t need to, princess, but thank you. You’re too good to me.”
“You haven’t even opened it yet, Eds. How do you know that you don’t hate it?” You almost whine, your nerves getting the better of you.
“Because I don’t need to open it to know I’ll love it. It’s from you, hon, and I love everything you get me.” Eddie smiles, making your cheeks flush with heat as you try to bite back a gleeful, giddy smile.
“Do I absolutely have to change before I can get this last surprise, princess?”
“You don’t have to, but I figured you’d want to get comfy now that everyone’s gone.”
“I want to see whatever this surprise is more. You do realize you can’t tell me you’ve got a surprise and then tell me to go do something else, right? I’m a child, y/n.”
You can’t help but laugh at him as he gives you a wide-eyed, playfully pouted look. He truly is a child at times, but you love him for it.
“Okay, okay. Let me go get it, Eds.”
Watching you disappear down to his room, he can’t help but smile. He will never understand how he got so lucky to have you in his life. While he would love if the two of you could be a little more, he’s happy to have you as his best friend.
How could he not be when you’re as kind and thoughtful and beautiful as you are? He’s not lying when he says that you’re too good to him. No one else would ever consider throwing him a graduation party, let alone get him a birthday and Christmas gift every year. No one else would make sure he’s got something on Valentine’s Day - be it a flower or a goofy card or some candies.
No one else could ever be you, and he’s grateful for that. He’s in love with you, and it doesn’t matter if your love for him is only platonic, because at least you still love him too.
“Okay, I saw these a while ago and really liked them, but I wasn’t sure what you’d think of them. I’m still not sure what you might think of them, but…yeah. I got them.” You ramble, coming out of his room with a small box dressed with a simple ribbon.
“If you liked them, then I’m positive that I’ll like them, but I’ll hold off on an official judgment. Since you apparently have to open stuff up before knowing.” He teases, happy to bring a small smile to your face as you roll your eyes.
“You do! Now…open it.”
There’s no stopping the small chuckle that leaves Eddie lips as you hold the box out for him to take. Carefully grabbing it from your hands, he undoes the bow before letting it freely hang over his hand.
You watch as he glances up at you with a soft smile, and feel your stomach flip while your heart flutters inside your chest. Deep down you know this little gift holds more meaning than simply being best friends, and that’s what makes you so anxious. You haven’t yet decided if you hope he gets the meaning or not.
He finally lifts the lid off the box, and moves the folded tissue paper aside until two beaded bracelets are revealed - one white with a single black bead and the other black with a single white bead.
Eddie stares at the jewelry for a moment, trying to get a handle of his thoughts and emotions. You got him - and presumably you - matching bracelets. While you’ve done soft things for him before, he’s sure this is the softest.
“What do you think? Th-they’re supposed to represent us always being with each other, even if we can’t physically be together.” You question, voice dropping to a murmur as you explain the meaning of them.
“Eddie?”
He’s yet to say anything, and it worries you. Maybe he hates them. Maybe he realizes you like him as more than a friend. Maybe -
Your thoughts are cut off as Eddie kisses you, his lips warm and soft against yours while his hair tickles your cheeks. Although initially surprised, having him kiss you feels right. It’s like this is what the two of you should have always been doing.
“I love them. I love you, honey.” He murmurs, smile on his lips as he pulls away from you the slightest bit.
“Yeah?”
“Thought I just made that obvious, baby. I wouldn’t have kissed you if I only liked you.”
“You’re such an idiot,” you huff, playfully hitting him in the chest.
“…but I guess that’s why I love you.”
“Glad we’re on the same page.” He chuckles, catching your lips with his once more, this kiss being softer - less rushed.
Once he pulls away, a dopey smile on both your faces, he pulls out the bracelets from the box he’s yet to set down. Looking at both of them in his hands, he can’t help but smile wider. You love him and you got matching bracelets for the two of you. You’re his just as much as he is yours.
“I don’t know when we’ll ever actually be apart, but I still love these, princess. I like knowing I’ve got a piece of your heart.”
You can’t help but shake your head at the metalhead you call your best friend, although there’s no denying that you’re still smiling. He carefully takes your left hand and slides the white bracelet onto your wrists, gently tightening it for you so it doesn’t slide off. Afterwards, he slides his on his right wrist alongside the other few bracelets - usually knitted friendship ones - you’ve given him over the years.
“Thank you for everything today, y/n. For watching me graduate, for the party, for these…I’m glad you were here.” He confesses, playing with your fingers as a smile grows on his lips.
“I wouldn’t have dreamt of being anywhere else, Eds. I know how hard you worked to finally get here. I’m proud of you, and wanted you to feel as loved as you are.”
“Can you say that again?”
“Which part?”
“All of it.”
There’s no way you couldn’t smile at that. He doesn’t get nearly enough of the love or reassurance you can tell he wants, so you’ll happily be the one to remind him.
“I’m proud of you, Eds, and I love you. So, so much.”
