learning sign language

I like to think Sonic used to be mute before meeting Tails. As he was opening up and slowly starting to speak - they just learned sign language to talk in the meantime (I also like the idea of Tails teaching Sonic how to read and write). Sonic sometimes goes mute again, especially when he’s stressed/tired, so he signs regularly. He knows how frustrating it is to not be able to communicate your needs properly, so he decided to teach Metal too.

It's a shame Metonic isn't more popular. It's weird it's not even as popular as Sonadow. Metal came first. Did no one see the potential? Come on! He's a robot built in Sonic's image to destroy and surpass him. Do you not see the drama, the angst, the absolute mindfuck that could result from pursuing such a relationship? I feel like Spongebob confronting Plankton at the theatre with a krabby patty like how can you not see it??? And then there's the beauty of exploring physical intimacy when only one person can experience physical pleasure. How does challenging the perceptions of sex an love not make you excited? Am I going insane? The answer is obviously yes.

Anyway, chapter 2 of my Metonic fic "Handle with Care" is underway. Wish me luck!
