A03 Questions Tag Game
I got tagged by: @kagedbird I tag: @onethirdofimpossible, @coffincrows, (first two that come to mind) and anyone else who wants to do the game
1 – How many works do you have on AO3?
At the time of writing this post, currently 30 fics. (Not including any fics or written works that are not posted to AO3)
2 – What's your total AO3 word count?
Tumblr media
1,066,633
3 – What fandoms do you write for?
Formerly: Don't Starve, FNAF, Dragons Dogma, Invader Zim
Currently: Cult of the Lamb
4 – What are your top five fics by kudos?
Solar Lunacy, Celestial Omens, Bytes of Lunacy, The Rehabilitation of Death, Saturday Insomnia
5 – Do you respond to comments?
I try to but I also get very nervous responding because I often don't know what to say back and I feel like it's almost rude or disrespectful to respond to a comment, esp the very nice ones that are long and in-deph with just a keysmash or a bunch of emojis, but I do read every single one since I have email notifications on for them
I'd like to sit down and respond to many but I really don't want to make it awkward so pls dear god readers forgive me
6 – What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
I don't like unhappy endings. I enjoy angsty stories but I like when it's at least ending happy to me
7 – What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
Not posted? Solar Lunacy
Ongoing? TROD
8 – Do you get hate on fics?
Not really? Most adults (in my experience) know the 'don't like don't read' rule and know basic online etiquette. I've gotten some for discontinuing a fic or switching fandoms though
9 – Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
I don't write or draw NSFW! I like to make some suggestive themes sometimes, but I'm a very ace person, it's not something I do often. (I do have a current running goal that if my friend reaches their donation goal for their medical bills that I would give NSFW a shot, but again its not really my cup of tea)
10 – Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written?
Nah I haven't written any cross overs, but I do draw them sometimes. Recently I've been spinning a Alice in Wonderland x COTL crossover in my head.
11 – Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Yep. I've had people copy and paste my work, go in with a thesaurus to change a few words (like changing 'angry' to mad, 'upset' to 'sad', and so forth) to try and avoid detection and re-posted my written work under a different title name. AO3 staff took them down for violating their policy against plagiarism though
12 – Have you ever had a fic translated?
No. I wouldn't mind it so as long as I'm asked before hand, though not on anon so I can actually work with the person to prevent any mistranslations or mishandling, and that I don't want my work posted to other websites
13 – Have you ever co-written a fic?
I think I did when I was a teen but I cannot remember now
14 – What's your all-time favorite ship?
Eh I don't have any favorites, just ones I really focus on for a long while
15 – What's a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
Pass.
16 – What are your writing strengths?
I can sit down for hours or several days and work on a writing wip completely in the zone. I cant do it on command but its at least something I can do
17 – What are your writing weaknesses?
Spelling and grammar, and sometimes long running sentences. I just kinda write, theres not really a goal for it to be perfect though so as long as the story gist and vibe is right, im fine with it
18 – Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?
I've done it before but only minor, had a friend help me with it (one or two lines of dialogue) Aside from that, I'm not comfortably fluent enough in anything to do it again without assistance
19 – First fandom you wrote for?
Soul Eater, when I was wayyy too young to be posting anything on the internet. My fanfics I wrote are still on fanfic.net to this day
20 – Favorite fic you've written?
It's inbetween TROD and EE&E right now

Hockey RPF Recs from 2023
I realized recently that I haven't done a great job keeping up with hockey fic beyond the authors I was already subscribed to, so I did some reading in the tag for the past year (and of course fell in a hole and neglected other parts of my life, you know the drill). Mattdrai is even bigger than I thought?? (She said, having been living under a rock.) Also, wow, *amazing* writers out there I had no idea about! Here are my favorites of the stories I've read so far:
so is the longing by dogjuice (mattdrai): This one might win as my favorite fic of the year. You know how sometimes you read something that's not quite as well written as you want it to be but it's doing the thing you want so you read it anyway? This is NOT that fic. It hits such good juicy trope buttons and also is clever and hilariously written. Top marks.
i'll tell you when to stop by dogjuice (mcmattdrai): Sadly this is the only other fic dogjuice has posted, but it is also excellent. The premise could be ridiculous in someone else's hands but rings so true. I was on tenterhooks for it all to work out.
In From the Cold by makeit_takeit (TK/Patty): FERAL. OVER. THIS. All three stories in this (loosely related) series are impeccable, but this one gave me the most feels. I am weak for a repressed closeted character gradually discovering happiness, and the depth of characterization is breathtaking.
Baby, I'm a Wildcard by wearemany (mattdrai): The writing!! This fic is mostly developing/established relationship, which is not usually my fave, but somehow I loved the entire thing?? Just really compelling character-focused writing that had me completely absorbed without needing to rely on angst or drama (much as I love those in other stories).
Edmonton 10 by Helenish (mattdrai): Helenish is incomparable. I cannot express how happy I am that they've (she's?) gotten into hockey lately. Read everything; I don't even know if this is the best one because I *am* subscribed to them so I read the stories as they came out and didn't rank them or anything, but this one is excellent and also you can't go wrong.
this must be the place by rafting (Jamie/Trevor): Love me some sexuality exploration. The USNTDP ensemble was so vividly and delightfully present in this one. Also, Trevor is so dumb. How can you not love it.
let me look at you by isozyme (mattdrai, mcmattdrai): This one is emotionally ROUGH but so well done. Heed the warnings, but there's plenty of emotional satisfaction as well. I read it several weeks ago and it's still living in my head.
roughed up in the afterglow by notthequiettype (mattdrai): This one is pretty short but gets a lot done in not too many words. Really excellent character interactions and dialogue.
linger by bropunzeling (mattdrai): Top-notch A/B/O content. Sometimes you just want Matthew to have heat sex with Leon and pretend not to have feelings until he can't anymore.
in the honey by donderwalk (Jamie/Trevor): Okay it's been a while since I read this one but I remember it as the highlight of my Jamie/Trevor tag search at the time, so I'm gonna say it's probably great. 😄
Serenity in Those Deep Waters by angry_geno_is_score (larsdunn): This mashes the D/s buttons sooooo good. Has it inspired me to write more D/s? Oh yes. Check it out; You Will Have Feels.
how lovely are thy branches by quadratics (mattdrai, Brady/Tim): Hilarious premise, charming execution. This isn't even about characters getting together and yet I loved it.
Hourglass Theory by puckedup (mattdrai): So short, and totally managed to punch me in the chest (in the best way).

I've seen many posts about people missing how common asks used to be so I have been trying to send about an ask a week. Now I send this ask first anytime I follow someone as I really don't want to bother anyone, so I'd love to know if you enjoy receiving asks and if so what kind of asks. Not having energy for asks or being comfortable with them is perfectly okay.
The categories I have in my ask notebook that I file under are in colour. Please feel free to make your response as long as you want or private (the asker cannot directly respond to private responses).
Self, Job/Work: please let me know what you are comfortable with from eh idk just ask it to nothing personal at all.
Baggishield/Tolkien, Dragon Age, Johnlock/Sherlock, ineffable spouses, other fandom: Please let me know what fandoms. I think my main fandoms and ships are Bagginshield/The Hobbit, Sherlock/Johnlock, Dragon Age Inquisition, {Pippin/Faramir Merry/Eowyn}/The Lord of the Rings and I dip my toes in a few that I currently can't remember but ships I don't engage with the canon of at all are: Good Omens but only for Crowley/Azirapheal, Stranger Things but only for Steve/Eddie , The Witcher but only for Geralt/Jaskier, and Ladybug and Cat Noir but only for Adrinette .
OC's, art/drawing, their writing, blog specific only
Story snippets ideas and prompts: Do you like receiving them?
Pets: I'd love to know all about them
Garden and Hobbies: What type of gardening and/or hobbies?
Like being tagged in things: If so what kinds of things?
*Asks are sent for fun, no pressure to answer.
Oh, hi! Thanks for the message! I honestly didn't know that asks are no longer as common as they used to be. I've never been a good candidate to receive them since I don't have so many followers (I always thought you needed at least 500 to get asks lol) and I'm not much of a creator. I usually just reblog stuff that makes me happy and occasionally (like once in three years) I share a fic I wrote here so I never had high hopes which is why I was very surprised when I received this ask and it made me so happy! Seriously, you're so cool for doing this, especially when people don't expect it at all. Even though it's through social media, it requires a bit of coming out of your personal bubble and putting yourself out there and I rarely do that in my life no matter how safe the space is. So it's really cool and thank you. I received probably like 2 asks aside from this one in my whole life, but yeah, I enjoy it a lot. ^^
As for what kind of asks...
Self, Job/Work: I'm good with sharing some stuff as long as it's not something that hits too close to home, but I would probably say that's the case. Asking about how I'm doing in general and what I do and what I enjoy about it is probably fine.
Fandoms: Asks about fandoms would most definitely be my favourite. I always enjoy ranting about stuff I love with other like-minded people. I love Bagginshield, The Hobbit, LOTR (Faramir especially), Ted Lasso (and particularly royjamie), Star Wars (obikin is very close to my heart), The Walking Dead (rickyl is the goat ship of that fandom for me), and probably my favourite otps are superbat (superman/batman) and spirk (kirk/spock) so I enjoy these fandoms too. Fandoms where I have no ships but I enjoy them all the same are Mass Effect (only the original trilogy) and The Witcher (the games, I only read two books so far sadly, I ship geraskier from the show but I don't like the show otherwise). All these things are something I enjoy talking about. ^^ I also like Johnlock/Sherlock and I played the Dragon Age trilogy (but I enjoyed Origins the most and aside from the Cullen romance and meeting Alistair and Morrigan in Inquisition, I didn't enjoy that game very much).
I write fanfics sometimes. I haven't written many and it usually takes me a lot of time to finish anything, but I enjoy it. I'm happy to talk about my writing any day even if it frustrates me to no end.
Story snippets ideas and prompts: Not sure about this. I think receiving them is nice, but I wouldn't be able to do anything about them aside from talking and speculating about them. I'm not very good at writing something from a prompt, so probably no story would come of it, but if it's only discussion people seek, then I'm happy to provide! And if it turns out to be very interesting, then I'm all for taking it further!
Pets: I have lots. I'm happy to talk about them any time.
Garden and Hobbies: Not much of a garden person, I'm afraid, but I enjoy nature more than anything. I live in a very Shire-like country, which is the best thing when I want to let my imagination roam. I enjoy running (but I started only recently so I'm rubbish), reading (fantasy and romance especially), learning French, playing video games, hiking, watching movies and tv shows, and I recently started to learn how to play the Irish tin whistle.
I like being tagged in things, sure! Something funny or heartwarming is usually the best, but I love posts with random facts which are super elaborate and interesting. It can't have anything to do with politics, though, tumblr is my escapist haven. :D
I think I answered everything to the best of my ability. Sorry that it's so long! Thank you again for sending the ask! I hope you have an amazing day!

10 Questions for Fic Writers
Thanks to @forsssnaken and @katiefrog217 for the tags! No pressure tags to @contritecactite @mywaywardcupcake @justapalspal @resuri-art
1. How many works do you have on AO3? 15
2. What's your total AO3 word count? 22,620
3. What fandoms do you write for? Currently, Good Omens. Before that (and maybe again soon), Spider-Man. Yu-Gi-Oh!'s always lurking there as a possibility, too.
4. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not? I do! I didn't at first because I grew up on ff.net where the way you responded to comments was by doing it in an author's note at the start of each chapter. Us kids did that, while the cool adults didn't, so when I started posting on AO3, I was determined not to be so socially inept and begging for attention. Turns out, AO3 has a very different culture, and responding to comments is fine there! So I'm back to doing it again! (Besides, as a commenter myself, it delights me that I get more AO3 notifications that are a reply to my comment than I do comments on my fics. I love hearing I made people happy! It's fun!)
5. Have you ever had a fic stolen? Probably? It seems like it would've happened back in the webring days, but I honestly don't remember.
6. Have you ever co-written a fic before? You bet! 💖 It looks like I co-wrote 8, via the high-tech method of having a group chat and taking turns writing out lines. Half were with just one person or another, and the other half were with a group. I haven't co-written anything in the modern era, though; I have no idea how people do it these days, although I'd love to learn.
7. What's your all-time favourite ship? Puzzleshipping from Yu-Gi-Oh!. Sorry not sorry. It's wildly unhealthy, baffling physically, and goes entirely against the moral of the show. It's twisted. It's great.
8. What are your writing strengths? If I'm writing well, it's a toss-up between nailing the character voices and slipping poignant headcanons into otherwise funny scenes.
9. What are your writing weaknesses? I cannot do plot. 25 years of RPing every day and I still cannot come up with a plot. I adore reading long, plot-heavy series, but the only way for me to figure out what happens next in one of my stories is to write out the characters doing it, and that doesn't work well with a long action-adventure plot.
10. First fandom you wrote for? Digimon. I was known for Yu-Gi-Oh!, but Digimon was my first window into the idea that the internet can be used for fun things, not just researching school assignments. The first fic I read was Digimon, and the first ones I wrote were Digimon too.

20 Questions for Fic Writers
Tagged by @mihrsuri. Thanks, Lil! I feel like I've answered these in the not-so-distant past, and might have accidentally ignored one or more tags. Oops. I need to check the Mentions tab and check it out!
(I also started writing this… earlier this week, and forgot about the tab. Sorry this is so so long.)
01. how many works do you have on ao3? 24 fics, though one of them has eight ficlets… So some would count it as 31. (It's still 24.)
02. what's your total ao3 word count? 167,815 words
03. what fandoms do you write for? TWW.
04. top five fics by kudos?
maybe everything's just turning out how it should be
(big gulf here)
say it's here where our pieces fall in place
just your smile lit a sixty-watt bulb in my house that was darkened for days
nobody knows how to get back home
we could be the way forward and I know I'll pay for it
05. do you respond to comments? Yes! I try to get to all of them, and feel bad when I hoard them (because they're lovely) or they slip through the cracks. (I tend to wait some time before replying to the comments on my most recent fic, so if anything comes in later, it might be immediate or two months late.)
06. what is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
I feel like I always struggle with this answer because they're mostly hopeful endings! Which is just my perception and now how it is. Tempted to go check what I've answered in the past.
Most recently, I think what if the way you hold me is actually what's holy has that 'right person, wrong time', on borrowed time vibes. But maybe not! My go-to answer always feels like my post-Portland Trip fic, don't want you to go but I'll be okay, because it feels so final and bittersweet then.
07. what's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
Oh, which one should I pick? I think the Cali/Jan 22nd fic from earlier this year (oh, and I will be with you to feel the California sun) is just pure happiness, tbh. Memoir fic (still you never took your hand from mine) also feels like a saccharine, sweet ending! (Could've also picked the literal wedding reception-set fic, lol.)
08. do you get hate on fic? No! Luckily. If I have, I don't remember. I've gotten a weird comment or two, but those weren't about the fics. So no!
09. do you write smut? Nooooo, of course not. (This is the last time I'll beg you to read on main and that's under a cut lol.) Up till now I could say it was mild scenes in yet-to-be-posted fics, which remains true, but I posted a literal smutty fic last Friday, lol. I'm proud of it and myself, for getting out of my comfort zone, and while it's flopping I'm glad those who've read it liked it!
10. craziest cross over? This is the question that undoubtedly makes me go “lol I've definitely done this before.” Because I always joke that I've already seen the craziest canon crossovers on screen. That said, I haven't personally written one, and don't have ideas.
11. have you ever had a fic stolen? No? Sometimes I wonder if some ideas have been borrowed but wouldn't say stolen.
12. have you ever had a fic translated? No! Maybe one day I'll do it myself. (I don't think there's demand for it/Spanish-written fics in this fandom.) (Once again, I'm sure that this answer matches the previous ones.)
13. have you ever co-written a fic before? Sounds fun! No. But anyone interested? hmu.
14. all-time favorite ship? In what sense? I cannot choose, but at the same time… We all know.
15. what's a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will? I don't like putting this energy out in the universe. It's one thing to post (that's probably a long list) but actual WIPs that are worth it? I want to believe I'll get to them eventually. (But. Unfortunately, the answer is many of them.)
16. what are your writing strengths? Internal world? As in, I am “good” at describing the internal world of a character. idk.
17. what are your writing weaknesses? I write in my second language. I feel like everything's a weakness. (World building, descriptions, dialogue.)
18. thoughts on dialogue in another language? As long as it doesn't take the reader out (and makes sense in the story), 👍 I might have peppered in some Spanish in some of my writing but it feels wrong somehow.
19. first fandom you wrote in? Bones.
20. favorite fic you've written? I cannot pick a favorite child. I can affectionately call them flops because they mostly are, stats-wise, but there's something about them that I love. And I feel like some of my favorite stuff is what's not yet posted! Because it stops feeling “mine” once it's out there.
don't want you to go but I'll be okay · Portland fic · my automatic answer because I felt it was special the second I finished it. So many things came together (that quote, particularly).
we could be the way forward and I know I'll pay for it · St Augustine, a precanon campaign fic ·(Any of the first four (posted in 2021) is super special to me. This one was another one I knew would be special. And it has big “there wouldn't be this if there hadn't been you” energy.
your love is a secret I'm hoping, dreaming, dying to keep · (3+1 fic set in the last third of S7, ft the press corps) · Taylor sang KOMH on N2 because she loved this. I just know it. (I just really love secret relationships/working around that S7 period so much.)
nobody knows how to get back home · itsotg missing scen) · I just like it a lot, and it's also a good candidate for angsty ending. When did it get so many kudos?!
maybe everything's just turning out how it should be · big block of cheese 2008 · felt disingenuous not to include the fic I always knew I wanted to post, even if it's another early one. It's my most popular by a huge margin, and I'm glad.
I so wanted to add fics like the Cali one but this always depends on my mood! So this is the answer that might always change haha.
Shoutout to some unposted ones that I love but won't get published. Or others perpetually in limbo, like the two big multichapters (IM and S5 pregnancy). I feel like some of my best stuff is in What Once Was Ours (the IM AU fic I wrote in 2021), or the S5 Pregnancy AU (which I hope to finish this summer! And I want to start posting once I feel like I'll make that deadline)… And I'm currently really fond of one I've started to call “demons that you know raise hell worse than a stranger.” Coming to you soon, if I get my crap together!

Do you read milex fanfics? If so what's your favorite ones?
DO I (yes, i do)
there are SO many incredible ones out there, most of which i've probably not even read yet because my to-read list is so long rn! here are a few of my all-time favourites though (plus a handful at the end of current wips i am loving too!)
LONGER FICS
Joie de Vivre by @gasdancer
summary: "Two young men decamp to rural France to make an album together. It ~is like love."
tags: angst, fluff, smut, bed-sharing, first time, friends to lovers
notes: THIS FUCKING FIC OH LORD. i just finished reading it recently and i had to sit down and reevaluate my whole existence for like a day afterwards. it PERFECTLY captures the dynamic of taotu milex - the playfulness, the intensity, the heart-wrenching love they have for each other that underlines everything. it's beautifully written with some *very* hot smut scenes and honestly it's amazing and if you haven't read it already then what are you waiting for?? (there are also two sequels, the first of which i am currently halfway through and it is just as incredible oh my god)
Been Away Too Long To Be Afraid by @stereobone
summary: Miles goes to visit Alex in Los Angeles to get his mind off his recent breakup. It works far better than expected.
tags: friends to lovers, miscommunication, pining, first time
notes: THIS FIC oh my goodness. it is in no small way responsible for how deep into this fandom i have sunk, as it was one of the first milex fics i ever remember reading and it's just so stupidly good. their characterisation is ON POINT and it's just the perfect balance of yearning/miscommunication/slow build. oh, any absolutely beautiful writing style too. my only complaint is that it went by WAY too fast when i was reading it lol.
Shy Of A Spark by @elorianna
summary: The Arctic Monkeys are about to play Glastonbury, their biggest gig yet, and Alex is struggling with stage fright. Fortunately for him, he has Miles to help him feel braver, and with his best friend by his side, surely nothing can go wrong.
Except that now it's the day of the show, Miles is acting strange, and the gig is no longer the only thing giving Alex stage fright. With the hours racing past, will he get his head in the game in time for their headline performance? And will he find a way to be brave, in more ways than one?
tags: friends to lovers, pining, first time, bed sharing
notes: this fic has such a special place in my heart, and i've lost count of how many times i've re-read it. it totally captures the fear of falling for someone who already means so much to you, and is just BEAUTIFULLY written with gorgeous characterisation and layers of theme and subtext on bravery and performance throughout. i literally cannot recommend it enough!! i am such a massive fan of all of elorianna's works, but i'm limiting myself to reccing one long and one short one here so this list doesn't become endless lol.
Terra Incognita by @yellowloid
summary: His fear of thunderstorms is something Alex has managed to keep a secret for most of his life. Nobody knows except his parents, and he’s determined to keep it that way. Except now he’s stuck in his apartment with Miles, the world outside is being shaken by a raging downpour, and maybe his fear isn’t the only thing that’s becoming difficult to hide. Or: they comfort each other in unconventional ways.
tags: hurt/comfort, pining, handjobs, friends to lovers
notes: i love the whole theme of unexplored lands that runs through this fic, it's gorgeously written and it feels like it touches on something so fitting for miles and alex's dynamic (also alex's thoughts about words in it feel SO in character). also i am such a sucker for a good hurt/comfort, and this ABSOLUTELY delivers the goods. god, the build up? the smut? the everything??? it's amazing, and full of so many stunning little details and nuances.
The Galaxy's Edge by @richiebrook
summary: Alex hasn’t been feeling like himself. He's used to it – tour life usually makes him feel a bit out of it, as if he were drifting in space - but it does put a strain on his relationship with the rest of the band and his girlfriend Taylor. Miles, his best friend turned lover, calls him up twice a week to make sure he doesn't drift too far. Their biweekly ritual helps Alex. The same can't be said for Taylor, who is perfectly aware of what Miles really is to her boyfriend. And so the Monkeys tour continues, Alex drifts and Miles anchors. But is it really drifting if you know exactly where you need to be?
tags: angst, long distance relationship, cheating, hurt/comfort
notes: okay, so there are a whole bunch of tags for this fic that would usually make it not my thing, BUT the writing is just so incredibly skilled and the characterisation of alex is so multi-layered and interesting that it i found myself getting completely sucked in. i have to say, it definitely is quite angst heavy so it's not a fic for if you're in a mood for some feelgood fluff - but it's beautifully written and a super thought-provoking and nuanced character study.
SHORTER FICS
On the Cusp by @elorianna
summary: On a hot summer day during their EYCTE Puppets tour, Miles and Alex find themselves stuck on a tour bus without any air conditioning. As they try to find ways to distract themselves from the heat, the boys end up struggling to maintain their cool in more ways than one…
tags: friends to lovers, first time
notes: i mean... this fic is just... *fans self* so hot. the way elorianna writes the build up of sexual tension is MASTERFUL.
Christmas Eve Will Find Me Where The Love Light Gleams by literevie
summary: Alex caught covid just before he was about to head home for Christmas. Now he's stuck alone in London, pretending to be brave about it all. But Miles finds out and decides to visit him to drop by some of his mums' famous christmas cooking to help him feel less lonely. Plot twists occur of course.
tags: friends to lovers, pining, sickfic, slow burn, first kiss
notes: this is such a special fic... i've rarely read one that feels like it has such a profound understanding of the dynamic between miles and alex, and it deals with the joy and the complexity of all that entails with just so much skill and poignancy. it's in the shorter fics category, but the PACE of this whole fic is just perfect and unrushed. it also features one of the best ever love confession scenes i've read. honestly it's just magic. the whole fic is.
The 36 Questions that Lead to Love by @fiireside
summary: To fall in love with anyone, answer these questions.
tags: fluff, pining
notes: THIS FIC IS SO ADORABLE omg. if you're ever having a bad day or feeling disillusioned with the world, just read this and i swear it will restore you.
Amsterdam by @richiebrook
summary: This one is set during the first night of Miles’ European tour, after Miles overhears a group of people in the audience singing “Where the fuck is Alex Turner?” as soon as he leaves the stage. Needless to say, it’s not the big opening night Miles had hoped for. Feeling like he's lost control of his own tour, he calls Alex up, fully intending to blame him for everything. Luckily, Alex knows just how to prove to him that he's still very much in control after all.
tags: angst, phone sex
notes: god, this is so beautifully written. the characterisation and the dynamic between them is just MASTERFUL. it honestly took my breath away the first time i read it for how real the way they interact feels. so many layers to this despite it being such a short fic (and the smut is really hot too).
Magic From Your Fingers Tingles Down My Spine by @alexturne
summary: "Wanna make out?" Alex coughed out a cloud of thick smoke. He blinked and looked at Miles next to him. Miles was making quite the sight, sprawled out across Alex's sheets with a dirty smirk plastered on his face. He looked nice, spread out like that. All relaxed and comfortable, as if he'd always been destined to end up right there in Alex's bed.Or: Whilst writing their first album together, Alex and Miles get high, and Miles has a great idea about how they could be spending their time.
tags: fluff and smut, friends to lovers
notes: this was one of the first milex fics i ever read and ahhhhhh. i still reread it often bc i just adore it! the tension and the tenderness in it is just 10/10 and i love how much they were both totally, helplessly into each other throughout it. wonderful writing.
the italian job by @stereobone
summary: Miles buys a house in Italy. Alex moves in.
tags: developing relationship, fluff, smut, feelgood
notes: this fic is just ART. god. the writing is absolutely stunning and it's full of beautiful subtext and metaphor but is also just so grounded in their relationship. i actually had to close my laptop for a few moments after finishing it because it just filled my heart up so much i didn't even know what to do with myself. the conversation between alex and miles in it is so insanely in character and ugh i just love everything about it okay??
WIPS/FICS I'M READING
Inhaler by @perfectly-clear-from-here
summary: A fast forming friendship between Alex and Miles takes a turn after a range of sleepless nights, shared cigarettes, loud music and a bar fight.
tags: friends to lovers, pre-taotu, slow burn, angst, fluff
notes: god, this fic just has it all for me. the characterisation of miles and alex's dynamic is just SPOT ON and right from the beginning has this wonderful sense of innate connection in a way that feels so authentic. i can already tell that the slow burn is going to destroy me (in the best possible way). it's also BEAUTIFULLY written with evocative descriptions that draw you straight into the story, super relatable themes, and wonderful snort-out-loud-at-your-computer-screen arctic monkeys boys banter.
Switchblades and Motorbikes by @thranduil-aran-edhil
summary: London. 1950’s. The Arctic Monkeys and the Diamond Dogs have never seen eye to eye. The two gangs are notoriously at odds with each other, constantly getting in fights around town. Alex Turner, leader of the Monkeys, is a sly thief and bike enthusiast that refuses to humble himself just because he’s sorta new in town. Miles Kane, leader of the Dogs, is a rebel with a cause and nothing will stop him defending his community and values. Not even a pretentious bastard like Turner. But a common adversary threatens to change this status quo. Will they find a way to team up? Or will both gangs fall under this much more powerful foe?
tags: 1950s au, violence, enemies to lovers, fluff and angst
notes: oooooh the ANIMOSITY and the tension between miles and alex sets up such an addictive dynamic in this, and the au vibes are just IMMACULATE. i have to admit, i'm only one chapter in but i'm already so hooked i couldn't not add it to the list. the dialogue in it is beautifully done and so full of character, and the whole thing just feels like watching a really cool movie play out onscreen.
I'll Pretend (Or Not) by @28-destiel-505
summary: Everyone knew Miles Kane and Alex Turner hated each other. But when it goes too far, their teams force them to do a collab to save their public images. Nobody understands when their relationship seems to have changed, not the fans, not their friends and not even themselves. Telling people it's just for the public might work for a little while but at some point, their friends question it. Maybe it's because of the time spending together or maybe it's because of the things happening when they're on stage but people start wondering what is really going on between the two.
tags: slow burn, enemies to friends to lovers, secret relationship
notes: okay i'm also in the early stages of this fic, but it's been on my to read list FOREVER and i am so excited to get further into it because i am a sucker for enemies to friends to lovers and i enjoyed the first two chapters so much!
under these lights you look beautiful by @alexturne
summary: Miles got completely lost in his voice. There was a faraway quality to it, like he belonged somewhere else entirely, but somehow had decided to grace them with his presence and Miles felt blessed to be near him if even for a short while. The subtle elegance hidden in his slender figure, the mannerisms of his fingers wrapped around the corners of his notebook. His words were spoken softly, quietly, but without any hesitation or faltering. Alex is an elusive poet, who has a way with words and Miles is a bartender, who is completely mesmerized.
tags: bartender au, slow burn, falling in love
notes: i've literally only read the first chapter of this but it already has me HOOKED - it's so cosy and atmospheric and i can already tell it's going to tug on my heartstrings so much in the best way. and omg poet alex with humbug hair?? i am in love as miles is oh lord.
that's it for now! if anyone has any fic recs (your own you want to promote or anyone else's that you've read and loved!), please feel free to send them my way - i feel like i'm probably missing some major ones from this list and am always looking for more good milex fics!

20 questions for Fic Writers
thank you to everyone who tagged me and I'm sorry it's taken me a month to do this.
1. How many works do you have on AO3?
25 plus a few that I've posted anonymously. bonus points if anyone ever finds them.
2. What's your total AO3 word count?
348,031
3. What fandoms do you write for?
just HP/marauders these days
4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?
A Brief History of Dragons - people like this Remus I think.
Beneath a Big Blue Sky - my love letter to Yorkshire.
Statten Park - an old one but I do actually still like this, it's a lot of fun.
Sunshine on Leith - can we knock this out of the top five already please.
And a Hedgehog in a Pine Tree - I'm so surprised that this is here, it's such an inconsequential little thing. people like Christmas I suppose.
5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?
oh god I try I really do, every email that comes through with a new comment makes my day but I'm terrible for leaving them all unanswered in my inbox. I'm sorry to everyone who has ever left a comment that I haven't responded to.
6. What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
The Proctor House for sure. A Winter, Forever Ago is pretty bleak too.
7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
most of them! probably the most joyous is something like Beneath a Big Blue Sky because you've been on a decent journey to get there. that goose threatening everyone's happiness and all.
8. Do you get hate on fics?
not really. one comment I do get sometimes is that the way I write Remus/Sirius is OOC and yes I agree, it absolutely is. Remus in Beneath a Big Blue Sky has nothing to do with e.g. Remus in Ullswater. those men have never even met in a bathroom. James in A Brief History of Dragons is an arsehole compared to living legend James in Beneath a Big Blue Sky. Sirius in Statten Park is a complete stranger to Sirius in Heartstones. none of them, really, have much to do with their canon counterparts. just bits here and there but I haven't read the HP books in well over a decade and I don't really remember what these characters are actually like beyond the surface-level stuff, so a lot of what I write is fairly OOC. it's all done knowingly and intentionally and I'm not going to change that.
9. Do you write smut. If so, what kind?
oh gosh a little bit a little bit. please understand that I'm a repressed Englishwoman and I'm trying my hardest. Seventeen Hours and Statten Park are both fairly smutty. I'd like to write more but I'm awkward af.
10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written?
no not really my thing but I do like to take other stories and plonk marauders characters into similar worlds - Ullswater was very much inspired by If We Were Villains.
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
no but people keep nabbing them to get them printed and then apparently sell them? so actually maybe yes. grow up.
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
no because I'm a control freak and I don't allow my work to be replicated. sorry about it. I think people have done it for personal offline projects though and that's absolutely fine.
13. Have you ever cowritten a fic before?
back in the day I used to co-write with my then-partner but it was just bits and pieces, not full fics. again, I'm a control freak so I'd struggle with this. I need to get my own way always.
14. What's your all-time favorite ship?
right so I should say Remus/Sirius but honestly... Remus/James just reaches places other pairings simply cannot. so it's a toss up.
15. What's a WIP you want to finish, but doubt you ever will?
oh god how long have you got. I think one of the reasons I dislike Sunshine on Leith so much is because I put that stupid note at the end promising a third part in a few weeks. that was in 2020 and I've still not done it. help.
16. What are your writing strengths?
description, particularly when it comes to: natural landscapes, buildings, food, weather. I think I'm alright at witty dialogue too.
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
actually writing anything down. also action, can't do action to save my life.
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?
I don't think I've done it but I'd give it a go.
19. First Fandom you wrote for?
I think it was LOTR and yes it probably still exists somewhere on an old desktop computer at my dad's house and yes that thought keeps me up at night.
20. Favorite fic you've ever written?
The Proctor House and Beneath a Big Blue Sky

9 people you'd like to get to know better
@ashcrow @jaynesilver @fallingdeeperintothispit @moondyad @tomatette Thank you all for tagging me!! It made me smile ❤️.
1. Three ships: Uh, yeah, I only have one right now because I don't think my brain could handle another. God knows my "Marked for Later" list on AO3 certainly couldn't, either 😅. Kylux, obviously.
2. First ever ship? In my head? Merry/Pippin from LOTR, though I admitted that to NO ONE at the time. First written ship was a female OC whom I wasn't entirely sure whether I shipped with Aragorn or Legolas...decisions, decisions.
3. Last song? I honestly cannot remember, though there was an excellent chance it was something by Within Temptation.
4. Last film? Crazy Rich Asians (only a few years late watching it, shame on me!).
5. Currently reading: Besides like three different fics—The Legend of Sleepy Hollow by Washington Irving. I just couldn't stop thinking about that breathtaking Sleepy Hollow art by @klodwig. Tell me I don't need to write a Sleepy Hollow AU until I finish my other WIPs.
6. Currently watching: NCIS. Second time for me, but I thought my husband would love it (and he does).
7. Currently consuming: Nothing, because it's 4:00 in the morning and I need to go back to sleep.
8. Currently craving: These pumpkin cranberry streusel muffins...which I've been craving for like a week and will hopefully make soon. They're great, but on the tart side—make sure you like cranberries if you make them!
Tagging (if you wish!): Well, I haven't been active on Tumblr that long so looks like most people I know here have already done this! But I'd like to add @gardening-darling @nerdherderette @unreconstructedfangirl @heartmanor @marlonbookcase @mothdustmouth :).

Writer Interview Game
Thank you for the tag @theladyofshalott1989! 💕 Yours was such an interesting read (can agree with your only child syndrome - im one as well ✌️) and it's something to think about since it's my first time receiving a tag game this long 😅
When did you start writing?
I remember making a lil homemade "Book of Jokes" (simply made out of elementary paper and just binding them with glue), my mom still has it somewhere she said she keeps as a memento.
But ive found i had a way to express myself in essay writing and with the other blogs i had before (blogspot days), before i really practiced creative writing back in 2019 by joining some writing groups online. They gave prompts and we spin a short story for it, which i greatly enjoyed doing. Joined Nanorimo in 2020 and even self published a couple of ebooks from that (not really confident to market it tho...)
But Fanfiction writing? ive honestly joined many a fandom but only Hogwarts Legacy was the one who called out to me to write something about my MC!
Are there different themes or genres you enjoy reading than what you write?
I curiously read smut cuz for the life of me i cannot write a sexy, intimate scene in detail - my brain just blanks when i want to write it, so always back to the drawing writing board for me 🫣
Is there a writer you want to emulate or get compared to often?
No one in particular really, tho i transitioned from reading the kids' books (Magic Treehouse, Geronimo Stilton and Bailey School Kids) to straight up P.C. Cast and her Goddess Summoning series. The only good 'ol YAs that touched my soul were Maggie Stiefvater's Shiver Trilogy, Emma Raveling's Ondine Quartet, Courtney Alameda's Shutter, Jess Rothenberg's The Catastrophic History of You and Me, and last but not the least (which also shaped my love for morally grey characters, Julian goddammit i cried teenage tears for him 😢) L.J. Smith's The Forbidden Game and these are most of the writers i remember growing up reading (i never even read the HP books... whoops!)
Can you tell me a bit about your writing space?
i don't really have a fixed one, i used to go to those co-working spaces when i started with fanfiction writing but i can type out a quick short story in notepad on any pc as long as the mood strikes. i've also adapted to typing on my cp too (OneDrive is my friend in syncing it on both my mobile and laptop) 😁
What's your most effective way to muster up a muse?
Peace and quiet. i usually have the best ideas late into the night when everyone is asleep, and im up like a gremlin, awake and typing away on my pc (those subliminal writer sounds work on me too) and there comes a time that i just need to write the words out when they've been brewing in my head for a fortnight too long...
Are there any recurring themes in your writing? Do they surprise you?
3 love interests and the 1 mc who does not have the leisure for romance (i did it once, i unwittingly just realized im doing it now with my fanfic... oh well.)
What is your reason for writing?
Granted i haven't written any original works since starting my fanfiction (all my brain juice goes into that WIP, i guess), it does give me a sense of purpose and a nice lil side hobby project i still quite enjoy coming back to every now and then ✍️🤓
Is there any specific comment or type of comment you find particularly motivating?
i don't get alot so i love all of them! The ones that comment on how sweet the interactions were between the characters keeps me motivated tho, it's challenging enough for me to be naturally affectionate irl so i really think my dialogue over before capturing it in words.
How do you want to be thought about by your readers?
i guess just somehow who'll not leave them hanging on an unfinished work 😅 at this point in time i still love adding chapters to it, but it does take time for me (between working and adjusting in a new country). i greatly thank them for their patience and support of my work! 💌
What do you feel is your greatest strength as a writer?
Slow-burns. 'Cuz maybe it takes me awhile to really understand a certain level of affection that's why im more interested in seeing how it develops. Also i do get comments on how i really visually describe a scene real well, so i hope that's true and im not really dragging it out? 🤔
How do you feel about your own writing?
i personally feel like i lack a back and forth dialogue in how i write, as i tend to be introspective, though overall i love the art of writing itself! There are days i read a random work of mine just to get motivated, read the comments on that and get encouraged more. 🥰
Hope these lovelies dont mind me tagging them 💌 @glutengoblin @animasola86 @evaslytherpuff @little-emerald-snake

Btw, it’s amazing you also got Satan’s card (seriously, I cannot stop staring at the premium pic… I need help 😭)! I wanted to ask you, why are reblogging your fics? Would that explain ‘icymi’ tag? I’m sorry if you have already written the reason somewhere or it’s common knowledge!!! I’m just so confused :(
hi!!!!! how are you?? hope you've been well :))))) i saw your reblog earlier today from that one fic (which was really great btw all of you should go read it too! it's perfect if you love satan and if you're following me i just have to assume you do) your comment made my day 🫶🫶🫶 i was waiting for the shower water to warm up and i had to turn off the water because i needed a minute to squeal out of joy haha
i was so thrilled i got the satan card but i'm actually don't have enough mats to level it up so i can't unlock the premium picture yet. been working hard and getting through the story to gather everything to get it!! it really is the most beautiful thing ever. it took them way too long to give him to us but hey, we had more time to save lol. may have to write a drabble in celebration
no worries about being confused about the icymi tag!! i haven't explained it yet so once i finally set up a proper navigation, this will be included <3. icymi means in case you missed it, and it's just to resurface works that some people might have missed for whatever reason. i actually didn't understand it either until i saw the tag from a mutual. even then i still didn't do it because i didn't want to bother people with more than one notification per day from my blog haha. but then, the same mutual reblogged a post about why authors should do it. here's the post because they did a great job explaining it!
i'll probably stop once i reblog all of the ones i actually like, and there's not that many more so it'll probably continue for the next week and a half or so? then i'll probably stop for a bit and pick it back up again in the future if i remember lol
great to hear from you <3!! hope both side of your pillow are nice and cool next time you head to sleep haha

20 Questions For Fic Writers
Tagged by @girlwithakiwi
1. How many works do you have on AO3?
5. I had a very long break between my FFN and AO3 days.
2. What's your total AO3 word count?
34,086
3. What fandoms do you write for?
Currently, it's all Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, because that's what the brainworms want. My only non-Rise AO3 fic is Voltron, and my FFN has a good amount of Kingdom Hearts on it.
4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?
This is going to just be a list of everything on my AO3, so in order: 1. Making the Rounds 2. Lay Me Down 3. Lethal Measures 4. Siblingquest 202X 5. Site 39
5. Do you respond to comments?
For the most part, yes!
6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
The first and third fics I wrote for the Cass Apocalyptic Series are very much downer endings, because there was a lot of downer stuff happening in the series at the time!
7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
...would it surprise you to learn that that's also a Cass Apocalyptic fic?
8. Do you get hate on fics?
Nope! I'm sure I will eventually, but I honestly could not care less. That's what the block button is for.
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
Also Nope! Turns out I'm the wrong flavor of ace for that.
10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?
Look. Listen. Kingdom Hearts is a crossover canon by design. It's very easy to go nuts with it. That said, my most consistent crossover well is Discworld, because it's very easy to have Death just roll up when someone passes, or gets very close to it. (So far it's been Red vs Blue, Kingdom Hearts, and RWBY, that I can remember off the top of my head.)
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
If I have, I'm not aware of it.
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
Again, not that I know of. I'm open to it - just let me know!
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
Kinda? It's mostly been RP or post/counterpost that gets published as a fic. I dunno, does tumblr collaborative writing count?
14. What’s your all time favourite ship?
I hit this question and forgot every ship ever I will probably never let Terra/Aqua from KH:BBS go, though.
15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
I have a handful of unpublished ones that probably just aren't going anywhere - I haven't worked on them for too long, and the drive is elsewhere. (Dear everyone looking at this question and going "but Lethal Measures though," I promise you I am trying)
16. What are your writing strengths?
Characterization and voice, dialogue, and I'm told my comedy hits fairly well, which is a good thing when you're mostly writing in a comedic canon.
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
Description, of both settings and people! What do they look like? How is the living room arranged? Hell if I know! It's not aphantasia so much as it is inconvenient.
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?
I generally don't - my French is too far out of practice, and I'm not going to pretend I know any other languages well enough to go for dialogue.
19. First fandom you wrote for?
Earthworm Jim, in third grade. Read it in front of the class. Core memory.
20. Favourite fic you’ve written?
It's currently Siblingquest 202X, because that's what I've been working on consistently and I cannot wait for y'all to see what I have in store with this behemoth.

GET TO KNOW THE MUN MEME:
NAME: i go by merrin here! you may remember me from elsewhere as maddie (which you are very welcome to use, i just don't want to advertise with it). possibly as cosmo.
PRONOUNS: she/they.
MOST ACTIVE MUSES: this one, james! i have a multi @hearthy that i haven't checked in a bit, but contains my longest-played characters. i can usually say that my range is better on discord but i'm very jfj-oriented at the moment.
RP PET PEEVES: i probably would have had an impassioned answer to this a few years ago, but now i'll sort of roll with anything. i have written with someone (not here) who does a lot of god-modding, which i cannot talk them out of no matter how many times i kindly ask them, so maybe that. you can assume some things for the sake of smoother story-telling, sure, but i suppose i draw the line at dictating my characters' deeper emotions for them.
EXPERIENCE / HOW MANY YEARS: i think almost 16 years...
FLUFF, ANGST, OR SMUT: i wouldn't write smut for the longest time but i worked on it over a few private projects and enjoy it a lot now. i love angst, i thrive in an angsty environment, but i'm also the world's biggest sucker for domesticity, which may fall more under the umbrella of fluff. i love wading through misery to get there, though.
PLOTS OR MEMES: generally plots, but there are certainly meme moods.
LONG OR SHORT REPLIES: god, i guess... longish? more a warning if you're on the other side: you write whatever length works for you, i am unfortunately likely to drag my reply waaay too far out.
IDEAL TIME TO WRITE: i don't sleep much/well, so you can pretty much catch me anytime. i'm available to write on discord most hours of the day. tumblr is usually later on for me—sometime between 8pm and 2am est.
ARE YOU LIKE YOUR MUSE(S)?: in some of the sadder ways, i think so, but overall i'm not much like james at all.
tagged by stolen from @ohsunshine! please steal it yourself and tag me if you like!

Get to Know the Fanfic Writer
Thank you to the wonderful @slothquisitor for the tag!
When did you post your first-ever fanfic?
First fanfic I wrote was back in like 2002 and it was for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. It was taken down by ffn because it was in 'chat format' (script/play format, but they were little bitches about it). It took years to write and ended up something like 800 pages long? I still think someone just didn't like that it was popular and flagged it as breaking the rules.
First Character(s) you wrote?
Damn near every single character from OoT was in my Link's Revenge fic, though it was a parody, so I'm happy to say I butchered like 95% of their characters on purpose <3
First original story I wrote was waaaaaay back in Elementary school. It was a page long about two kids discovering that a school librarian was a vampire. I think that was like 3rd or 5th grade. I don't remember. But I do know I've loved me some vampires since forever.
Main Character(s) you're currently writing?
The BG3 crew. Mostly the story for Seven Days thus far is from My Tav Idri's PoV, Astarion's PoV, and Shadowheart's PoV, but there are bits from all of the main companions.
Character(s) you haven't written about before but plan to soon?
Minthara, whenever I finally get there. I love her. She's my favorite problematic fav atm.
Fandom(s) you're currently writing?
Baldur's Gate atm. I posted the first chapter for a wow fic like a day before bg3 came out and ideally I would like to juggle to two, but I have been sucked into new fandom hell, so things are lopsided atm. I might try to do both for NaNo this year and see if I can't have a consistent posting schedule for them for the new year.
Platonic Pairing(s) you're currently writing?
Well, in my long fic, there's gonna be all kinds of friendship going down, though I think rn it's mostly Gale/Idri becoming fast besties.
Romantic Pairing(s) you're currently writing?
Astarion/Idri (my Tav) for Seven Days and Astarion/Tav (gn Tav) for my short fics
Your top AO3 tags?
I don't really know how to check that? But they would probably be like: angst, slowburn, adventure
Current platform you use for posting?
Well, if a fic is short enough, I post it here and on Ao3, but the long fics are exclusively Ao3. I used to post stuff on FFN, too, but after getting a, "I'm not gonna read all that, but grats on writing such a long fic," comment for Of a Feather, I don't really think it's worth it to post over there? Idk, I might decide to give it one last chance later on. I did end up getting a nice comment on that fic after the whole thing was written, so there are some nice readers still over there.
Snippet of the WIP you are currently working on?
Idri stills for the fraction of a second. Gale is tired enough that he doesn’t seem to notice. “It’s a family heirloom,” Idri says, smile a little forced, though it could be mistaken for weariness. “My mother would be beside herself if I lost it.” She perks up a little as she adds, “And my grandmother might rise from the dead and go on a killing spree.” Even as Gale laughs, enthralled by the story of how Idri’s grandfather had the broach made for her grandmother in secret because their union was not approved of, Shadowheart cannot help but notice that the note in Idri’s voice is the same as when she told the adventurers about the mindflayer ship. How much of the story is the truth?

DISCLAIMER
Please DNI if you are: under 18, an exclusionist or "anti" of any description, a TERF, a MAP or any other description of shithead, sad act or fascist. We do not judge, we do not discourse and we do not care what you do with your time, brain or body as long as it does not cause any non-consensual harm.
On that note, hello reader, we are the Coin. We call ourselves that as we are currently only two, which from what we can tell is unusual, so we are working under the assumption there may be others we are not aware of yet, based on observable statistics.
We are a "mixed origin system", or as we call it, no clue whatsoever where we come from and why, but as far as we are aware, have always both been here.
We are 24, transmasculine to varying degrees, Jewish, autistic, unemployed, crippled, absolute disasters in every sense, and that is to all intents and purposes where our similarities end.
We struggle with the words currently in use for the "host" or the "front" as we have found they don't describe our experience, we call whoever is piloting in that moment the "head" and the backseat driver becomes the "tail". Our switches, which, until recently, lasted years, were seismic, and almost ruined our shared life, we call "flips". We will be using this language when describing our own experience, although if you feel this fits for you, we would love if our framework helped somebody else.
We are a "median" system, so most of the time share one another's head memories and can feel one another's emotions, which makes trying to live separate lives, and have our own sense of self, complicated.
My other half will do it's own introduction post but since I have typed this post, I will tack mine on here.
Hi, I am Leo, I use he/him pronouns, I have been functioning as the Head since a hard flip 4 years ago. Before that, I was mostly the Tail for as long as I can remember, with some notable exceptions. This means I am, in many ways, newer to the 'being alive' schtick, and cannot seem to stop fucking up. We live with multitude chronic illnesses, I seem to process physical pain better than the other one, which we suspect to be the reason I find myself drawn to the front nowadays.
I am, I think, grey-ace/bisexual and biromantic, or hyper-romantic if such a thing is recognised, although based on the breadth of my existence being the voice in someone I detested's head, I haven't dated much to find out. I am a writer, I mostly write poetry but am trying to branch into more long-form fantasy so if that interests I may make my own blog for that.
I think that is everything, thank you for reading and have a lovely day!
-Leo
Hey loves, I am The Other One or, as I call myself, the big brother. My name is Tyler, yes that is a Fight Club joke, yes my little brother despises that decision, the more he hates it, the funnier I find it. You know how it is.
I could disagree with almost everything we have already written, for example I consider us a traumagenic system with dissociative amnesia, based on the way my 'mind' works and the memories I do, and notably do not, have. I also do not believe for a second we are alone in here, but I accept the current inability to turn around and face the headspace, for multiple reasons.
I am, currently, the tail of our coin, and have been most of the time for a few years now, so will, presumably, be posting here less, although we are currently working through some stuff, so I have been in the front more than usual.
I guess I'm aromantic, bi, transmasc but not in like, a 'Binary Trans Man' way like my brother, in a fruity, fabulous, fagdyke, femdom way.
I'll be tagging my posts with T and Leo will tag with an L, if anyone wishes to see our posting in isolation.
On that note, peace out and have a cracking day darlings x
-Tyler
