you’re a small-town sheriff and two government agents show up on the crime scene with more sexual chemistry than should be possible: ridiculous amounts of tension, eye-contact, no personal space etc. BUT they’re arguing about whether or not a slug monster from Neptune actually killed that guy. you just kind of have to deal with them for the next few days while weirder and weirder shit starts happening but the red-headed lady mostly looks exasperated while the tall guy keeps trying to stick his fingers into weird goop (there’s weird goop now) or goes around earnestly asking everyone when they last saw the Neptune slug monster

I don't think the Trinity is that hard to understand or explain. o:

I usually think of it like this:

You have a friend; they have 3 jobs.

They have a job as a engineer, a cashier, and a janitor.

You wouldn't go to your friend in each job and ask "Are you the same guy I know????" - You know it's the exact same friend at each job, even though they're doing something different at each job.

Or think of it in gaming terms:

It's like someone with three different characters in a game. They switch between each character whenever needed, but you know it's the exact same person controlling each character, despite the different skills/class abilities.

Heck, even further think of someone who changes their hair color + style every day. You don't question or ask if they're the same person from when you first saw them. You know it's the same person, just different presentation.

I imagine an Angel!Crowley would run a vintage record shop, featuring mostly vinyl but housing all formats of music. It’s very fussy and very organized his way and Demon!Aziraphale likes to come in and mess it up to get a rise out of him. I think in this setting I’d want Aziraphale to be a sub-par wedding singer, and he likes to belt out all the classics as off key as he can manage whenever Crowley is around just because it makes his eye twitch in that adorable way it does. <3
