ngl. every time i see someone talk about a fairly standard/innocuous bong or pipe that isnt that structurally complex and they talk about the way it would be "impossible" to keep it clean my concern for the ways y'all treat your glass (and therefore your lungs) rises by 10 notches........
#as someone who smokes DAILY: PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD CLEAN YOUR GLASS OFTEN#if you just change the water daily even/try not to leave it filled with wet it will significantly improve your smoking experience#if your bong is getting BLACK AND MOLDY WITHIN THREE DAYS PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO ANYTHING DIFFERENT OH MY GD#filters.... change the water more.... DON'T ash into the water........ anything??????#😭#also not rbable bc this is very judgemental in tone and i dont feel like ppl crying to me about why they Should be able to do this#like ultimately do what u want im just really concerned for ur lungs & u can Genuinely have such a better smoking experience 😭#(<totally not autistic ab weed & smoking (lying))#also if u genuinely dont know how to clean ur bong effectively: get at least 70% alcohol & the frequency of cleaning depends on how much u#use it but when im smoking from the bong a lot i do it before every sesh (yes it takes extra time. i find it peaceful but regardless. you#will just need to keep track of ur own habits) and fill the (empty) reservoir ~1/3-1/4 with the 70% and then plug the mouth piece and stem#hole with your thumbs and shake that bitch a couple times to slosh the alcohol on the walls. if theres grime add a couple spoons of coarse#salt (or rice if its a lot!!) and then shake shake shake (be careful dont hit it ofc) and then dump that out and rinse repeatedly#(i personally fill it with as much water as i can and dump it out lile 4-6 times but just MAKE SURE THERES NO MORE ALCOHOL)#bottle brushes and straw cleaners help with residual grime / harder to clean spots but are unnecessary in my experience if you are cleaning#it often enough. for bowls (& pipes) I recommend letting them soak for a bit in some rubbing alcohol while you do this#and then by the time the main piece is cleaned you can use a straw cleaner in the hole part or even a toothbrush or a q tip to clean off the#resin/gunk (i clean my actual bowl less often than the bong itself but also i use filters and the resin helps that stay better)#anyway i love cleaning my bong and i love glassware so much and bongs can be beautiful just be niceys to it!!! it needs baths!!!

I haven't laboured over a kit like this for a loooong time hot damn . I'm sure Luna magic house had more parts yet somehow this was far more taxing? This took me a week I can't believe it my back hurtsssss
That being said I'm so happy with the results!! I filmed a bit too, so there'll definitely be a video!

#i made a mold of the buttons today and i bought resin so i can start making buttons!#just doing a b y x start for now since ill need a 2 part mold for the others and i dont have resin syringes and stuff yet#i also want to do joycon buttons more for myself than anything. but lots of smash players use pro controllers so maybe those?#i also want to get into custom gamecube controller shells too

Most of the time it's not that big of a deal, my symptoms are mild and I have ways to work around it in most areas. But sometimes my lack of coordination and fine motor skills is really really annoying. I feel really happy when I look pretty, and want to do things like braid my hair or paint my nails or wear makeup or put on clip-on earrings or do jewelry clasps or do up little buttons or whatever. And I can't do any of that stuff easily, and some of it I can't do at all. I don't have the tremor in my hands I had when I was on lithium, at least, that sucked. But my coordination and motor skills are still pretty poor and it makes it really hard to do a lot of things like that, and it's just frustrating. I'm trying to learn how anyway but I just wish it was easier.

having a local public library is great. what do you mean i can just ask someone to teach me embroidery and they have publicly available machines i can just USE as long as i reserve timeslot and have a library card. and 3d printers. and soldering. and like 10 other niche things id have to invest a lot of money in if i wanted to do it alone.

Been seeing a streamer I like calling subjects that often come up with you "un marronnier" (which is technically means something that comes up every year in the media for reasons). Like it's something you find yourself always making references to even if you don't like or dislike that thing particularly, it's just there (it's not like the Roman Empire thing, think of it more as the red thread of your conversations and in her definition of it's supposed to be a bit odd).
And anyway I think in my case it might be Breast Milk.

Most of the blind box bjds I've seen apear to be pvc. So not as hefty as resin but they are about as durable as a nendoroid, and I've never had any pcc parts break, only yhe stands/connector pieces which I think are an absolute plastic. Idk if that helps
this is great news to me i love materials

having a lot of characters in genshin kind of sucks like i don’t have enough materials to build all of them but i like them all too much to pick just one to work on at a time
