Dogday!! Trying to figure out a way to send a Y/N in there to help him.

(I drew my sona in these cuz self-indulgent, but if I ever write anything it'll be a reader insert with little to no canon design.)

Design notes: Took some elements from his game model as well as his cartoon design. I think when we see him, he is emaciated and/or stretched out, the way CatNap is said to be able to stretch. Don't know if that's an ability all Smiling Critters have though. For now I'm saying it is SOMEWHAT but CatNap is the better at it by MILES. In any case, that's why he's not quite as lanky as he is in game, and is also a bit shorter.

I also he can be bipedal or quadrupedal, much like CatNap seems to be able to switch back and forth. A bit more animalistic than his cartoon counterpart, but part of that is just him not wanting to tower over the children and employees all the time, so drops down to all fours quite a bit.

The fur texture on his ears in the game cave him a floofy cocker spaniel look so I went with that instead of the less floofy ears he has in the cartoon and his original plushie.

The white pupils being absent when we see him I believe is a sign of how weak he is. When healthy, all the Bigger Bodies Smiling Critters have them, much like CatNap does.

Trying to actually keep his huge open-mouth smile at all times, unlike with my FNAF stuff where I give them more of an ability to emote. That said trying to get him to look angry or sad was a challenge. Sad I think worked okay but the one where I meant him to look angry he looks more cocky or smirky than mad. Tender moments are a bit harder too, as keeping that huge grin with more tender eyes results in him looking either drunk or horney or just like he's not taking the moment very seriously, haha.

And the story? Not sure yet, bouncing around a few ideas, though I don't think I'll have the reader and the player be the same person. Reader might be someone who came up in PlayCare alongside Dogday. Perhaps they knew each other as kids when Dogday was still human. Haven't decided how much of this Dogday remembers or at what point the reader realizes Dogday is their old friend who got "adopted".

Reader grows up the Playcare and is given a job once they're an adult. (Something something starting the brainwashing and normalization of bullshit early to make employees who are more willing to look the other way?)

Dogday somehow kept them hidden during the Hour of Joy and the reader's been living in the caves ever since. (The caves open up so much possibility for people being hidden in the factory. Much easier to say there's an unknown offshoot of a natural cave system than an unknown part of the factory.)

How are they staying fed? Uhhhh...cave mushrooms? Trips to the surface? Moss? Stale vending machine candy? I don't know yet.

Not sure how to pull a happy ending out of this horror but I'm trying. Maybe the reader convinces Dogday to leave after Ch 3 because he'd be too weak to help anyway or something? And uh...I'm just gonna pretend since he's kinda a plushie he can be sewn back together even though I'm PRETTY SURE canonically the inclusion of blood and guts makes that...not a thing.

Just remember guys...all winds blow away...eventually.

I don't think I've ever actually shown the finished design of my sona here, so here ya go! :)

Her name's Ash, a shapeshifting monster who acts as a traveling Lorekeeper. Her job is basically documenting the wonders of the worlds she travels to, particularly the inhabitants she comes across. AKA she's literally me with a fantastical twist. :)

I was actually told a few times that folks were surprised she looked so much like me and uh. That's kinda the point; I never had the interest to have a sona until relatively recently, and the only way I found myself actually connecting with her is by making her a mirror of myself in every way outside the obvious artist flare with the more animal features. She's loud, she draws, she likes to travel, she's got a big ol afro, she's weird. Badabing badaboom!

I'm pretty happy with the result! It also helps a lot when I do promotional art to actually have a functional design on hand to reference from. ;w; I'd also like to expand on her lore; a couple of my friends suggested building a world for all of our sonas to exist in for the hell of it and I'm pretty excited with the idea.

But ye! I hope ya'll like her! I may end up making an "official" ref of her sometime in the future. owo

500 FOLLOWERS

Wow. 500 of you. That number feels surreal, especially after everything these past few months. (Don't scroll away there's a surprise at the bottom of the post.)

In July, I faced harassment over a rumor about being hired as a TSAMS writer. In August and September, it escalated—stalking, harassment, and widespread slander over SolarNexus, a ship I don’t even ship. October brought betrayal as someone I trusted turned out to be a predator, slandering our friend group, faking their death, and running away upon confrontation. Last month, I had to take a stand against someone sharing NSFW with minors, leading to more slander and harassment.

Now it’s December, and honestly, fandom discourse feels inevitable. But you know what? I don’t care.

This community has been so supportive to me throughout this. I have grown close with friends, made new ones, and gained so many supporters and I don't know how to say thank you enough. I've reached so many of my goals for this year, and there's always going to be more work to do.

I'm starting a new fic. I'm updating my old ones. I'm making art for a voice actor. I'm a mod in the community server. And I'm finally working on a project again that I started in August.

I’ve been really hesitant to show this project off on main, beyond reblogging things here and there. I won’t reveal which character I specifically play—though it probably wouldn’t be hard to guess.

This project started as a way to support the mod who plays Lunar, who was receiving harassment simply for enforcing their boundaries. Yes, you read that right—they were harassed because they didn’t want to post negative confessions. When we saw that happening, my friends and I got together, and I said, “Haha, wouldn’t it be so cool if we just made a bunch of confession blogs to dunk on the haters and roleplay and shit?”

Within 24 hours, two new blogs popped up. One hasn’t done anything to hurt me, so I won’t name them, but we all know who they are. The second? Biased-tsams-confessions—a blog that was one of the leading forces behind the harassment I faced in August. They would flip their lid if they knew I was the leading force behind TSBS CVAU and remain its head administrator and manager. Honestly? That makes me even prouder of this project.

Of course, I couldn’t do this alone. A huge thank you to my partner in crime, @lyrical-hue, who has been my rock throughout this journey. They’ve helped smooth out the bumps along the way, making sure I don’t handle everything solo.

I do! This is from earlier this year, I don't remember if I posted this one anywhere but on reddit. I rarely ever draw anything to represent myself whether it be what I look like irl or my sona, so I'm glad I ended up making this one. No pressure to finish anything cause the patterns are kinda crazy, but I'm definitely curious??

TANGENT: One of my favorite animals that exists currently is a leucistic alligator that lives at the zoo I grew up next to (his name is thibodaux!), my kindergarten was actually AT the zoo so I'd get to see this mf all the time. I haven't got to see him in a while but my sona's design is inspired by him. Alligators were my first special interest and my oldest possession is a gator plush so I feel a kindred spirit with big fat reptiles that look terrifying, but just kinda sit there all day loving life. I actually decorated my bedroom to look like a swamp when I got my first full-time job, now it's like. 80% swamp 20% cult of the lamb shrine

Hello hello. I just read your post about things the gents would be willing to share with (Y/n) and when it got to Jamil sharing scapes or sheds it reminded me of a cool web comic I read awhile back. Basically the snake men (shifters) would gift their sheds to their mates, evennturning the sheds into clothes since the sheds kind of became similar to silk in a way, just more comfy, soft, and more resistant to wear and tear and it had me wondering, are naga sheds/skins/scales valuable or have any interesting properties? Would something similar to that be possible or would it be considered weird/not possible? Ngl a dress made from the colors of Jamil's pattern would look really pretty. My sona would probably tease him a bit like "hey look, we match now 🤭🧡" lol.

His colors are actually as vibrant on him as they are on his shed, usually the only difference is the scales on his body are iridescent and the shed is not. Most Naga have a certain element they are resistant to, Jamil being resistant to fire. It would make a good fire-suit and it would look like you are wearing his scales if you turn it into a dress. I plan to use his scales and the gold bangles Kalim wears to design their wedding dress, kinda like how I used Malleus scales and Vil's feathers for their wedding dresses.

I've got faeries on the brain so I'm back to gently poke you to see if you feel like rambling about your fae sona I'm curious

my sona is kinda like- a mishmash of stuff that means a lot to me- he doesnt have much of a backstory other than being very old and very tired and living in cold northern forests just out of reach of man and keeps an eye on these areas. that isnt to say that they dont like humans or dont find them fascinating. they like watching them and learning about them. they just like being able to have their distance. while theyre pretty worn out, they still have their silly moments as all fae do. (they would very much like to have arthur around to stare at/talk to)

theyre very much inspired by things that are important to me- i love the winter and snow and ice and thats obvious in their design with their frost covered skin and hair and their icy antlers. their antlers radiate a soft cool light. the antlers are obvious in reference to my love for deer but they also have claws and fangs and a lion-like tail and catlike eyes because i really like cats of all types fhsjkdhkjhsd sometimes they have large bird wings i guess hes just kind of my idealized self.

How did you come up with the combination of bullwolf for your 'sona? Like was it a "I love both of these animals. What if they were THE SAME ANIMAL??" kind of situation, or were you picking out individual traits (horns/snout/etc) and then went "huh, this kinda looks like a cross between a bull and a wolf," or were you inspired by something specific, or what?

i wish i had my old art but i originally started off as a wolf but then later on i got obsessed with highland cows and became a bull instead and i kept being indecisive and had a sona who could become a bull or a wolf and eventually i saw this guys (rrowdybeast) sona and realized wait hold on i can be both (his sona was a bison-wolf)

and i was like BET and then one day i got really autistic about Bulph and began working on his anatomy for like two months to make it more like an imperfect blend of a wolf and a bull and i created his signature flexible horns and paw-hooves and now hes here to stay
