TRR book 2 end of Chapter 19: Assassins attack the Homecoming Ball
[For those new to my blog, I headcanon twin mcs, Riley and Raelyn in this AU. Riley is the more typical mc that closely matches canon mc that travels to Cordonia to compete for the hand of the Prince while her twin Raelyn tags along and ends up falling for Hana Lee]
Tw: bullying, transphobia, and gun violence.
Raelyn couldn't help smiling so hard their cheeks felt like it would split. The way Liam was looking at their sister Riley with so much starstruck awe and love, they knew Riley had truly found someone worthy of her. Saw her as the queen Raelyn always knew her to be.
☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
"Ha! Made it before you!" Six year old Riley cheered as she climbed on top of the highest branch that was strong enough to take the twins weight. "I'm queen of the world!!"
"You usually do." Raelyn says struggling behind Riley. Riley reached out to help them up beside her.
"Don't worry Rae, you can be a queen too! We can be queens together!" Riley says smiling a toothy grin looking out across their grandparents backyard, missing the uncomfortable look on Raelyn's face as they frowned.
"I think I'd rather be a wizard or a-a sorerer" they say mispronouncing sorcerer. Riley turns back with wide eyes.
"Ooo that would be cool! Yeah I'll be a queen and you can be my wizard, casting spells and tricks!"
"Yeah?" Raelyn asks hopefully.
"Yess! As long as we're together Rae-Rae. You can be whatever you want to be!" Riley says hugging Raelyn tightly.
"Together forever." Raelyn says in Riley's unruly mane of hair.
"Forever!"
☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
"Introducing Duchess Riley, future queen of Cordonia." Liam says holding out a hand to Riley who took a step in his direction until suddenly the lights went out. Raelyn could feel Hana's hand that they were already holding tighten and her other hand grasp their bicep. Popping flew through the air.
"What is that? More fireworks?" Penelope's voice filtered through the crowd's uneasy murmur.
"No! Gunshots! Run!" Justin hollers and several women screamed. Someone bumped Raelyn and for a second they slipped out of Hana's grasp before she reeled them back into her arms.
"Raelyn!" Hana says into their neck. Then the lights came back on to reveal utter chaos. Liam and his guards were fighting off masked men, nobles ran as gunshots rang through the air but when one of the masked men pointed a gun at Riley, Raelyn felt as if a bucket of ice water had been poured down their spine.
"RIIIILLLEEEYYY!!" A primal scream tore through Raelyn's throat and they started to bolt towards their twin.
"Raelyn! No!" Hana says leaping in front of them, desperate to keep her fiancé from attracting the attention of the gunmen.
[Beautiful commission done by the very talented @sazanes 😁😁😁]
Raelyn's view of their twin was hidden from them by a crowd of panicking nobles and when a gunshot rang out, they had no idea that Drake had taken the shot for Riley. As the gunshot rang through the air, Raelyn just stopped. Stopped struggling, stopped moving, stopped breathing, stopped thinking, stopped...existing. Tears ran down their face and they retreated deep in their mind.
☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
"Freak! Loser!" A handful of 13 year old bullies chanted circling Raelyn on their bikes. Tears welled in their eyes.
"Aww, look she's about to cry! Are you going to cry little girl?"
"S-stop c-calling me that! I'm-I'm not a g-girl!" Raelyn says stuttering. They fell, scraping their knees and the palm of their hands when a bully kicked the back of their knees out from under them.
"Actually you're half right...you're a f-f-freak girl!" The ringleader of the bullies mocked their speech impediment before grabbing the front of their shirt. "Since you're not a girl, then I guess I can punch you all I want right?" He says before raising his fist, Raelyn flinched back. Suddenly a scream of anger rang out and several of the bullies scrambled away.
"You get your grubby hands off my sibling before I kick your ass into the next week!" Riley storms towards them, righteous fury on her face, Raelyn had never seen their sister this angry before. The bully, Michael? Mikey? Mike? let go of Raelyn to smirk at Riley.
"Well well well. Miss. Softball Star here to fight her sister's battles for her again-" Riley cuts him off by punching him in the face than in the stomach. As he laid on the pavement groaning, Riley raised her voice to the other bullies and the ones standing by gawking at the scene.
"If anyone touches my twin again, I'm beating your ass into the ground, do you understand me?!?" Riley says glaring angrily before offering Raelyn her hand and helping them back up on their feet.
"Are you hurt? Are you okay?" Riley says worriedly, Raelyn shakes their head in the negative.
"N-no I'm f-fine." They say sniffling. Riley frowns at her twin's stutter. It only came out when they were upset or scared.
"Well let's get the hell out of here." Riley says adjusting her backpack.
"R-Riley! Language!" Raelyn says shocked, Riley laughs and wraps an arm around their shoulders, leading them off the schoolyard.
"I've got your back Rae. No one is ever going to hurt you while I'm around." Riley says squeezing Raelyn tighter against her in a hug.
"I've got your back too Riley." Their reply muffled in Riley's shoulder.
☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
"Raelyn baby, please!" Hana sobs as she tries to get a response from her catatonic fiancé. She cups Raelyn's face in her hands. "Please come back to me. I need you with me." Hana begs.
Tonight had been going so well. Riley had cleared her name and Liam had proposed to her in New York and was well on her way to becoming Cordonia's future queen. Liam had made Hana and the twins duchesses and she proposed to Raelyn just mere hours ago. Now, now Liam was fighting for his life, Hana's future sister-in-law's wellbeing in question and her fiancé unresponsive to Hana's pleading.
"It's going to be okay, baby, it's going to be okay." Hana repeats like a mantra, trying to get not only Raelyn to believe it but herself as well. Her forehead pressed against Raelyn's, she stared in their eyes willing them to come back to her. The couple still as statues while chaos rained all around them. Then somehow life flickered back in Raelyn's eyes.
"H-Hana?" Raelyn whispers. With a sob, Hana nods.
"Yes! Please Rae! We have to get out of here!" Hana begs pushing Raelyn back, trying to steer them to an exit.
"Hana! Raelyn! We gotta go!" Maxwell suddenly appears besides them with Chance in his arms. He shoves the corgi in Raelyn's arms and a whimpering Chance licks Raelyn's cheek. With Maxwell's help, Hana is able to guide Raelyn out of the palace and into one of the guards' armored cars.
As the car zooms off, Hana looks back at the palace biting her lip. Please be okay Riley. I don't think Raelyn could handle it otherwise. Hana thinks before pulling her lover into her arms.
Omg! It's been awhile since I made myself cry writing something! Big big thanks to @sazanes for doing this more angsty commission for me. Despite all the angst, we know the twins and the friend group will be fine but I thought it would be neat to see Raelyn's reaction to seeing their twin in danger, and we got to see a little babies and preteen Riley and Raelyn! Thank you so much @sazanes! You're amazing! 👏🏽 👏🏽 👏🏽

alright episode 7 thoughts, i don't know how to feel about this episode because it had both my favorite changes so far and my least favorite
procrustes' outfit was fucking VILE, it was godawful but so perfect, and honestly good casting too I think
I feel mean saying this, but does crusty's actor naturally look like that or was it makeup, because his wrinkles seem at least a bit exaggerated or maybe I'm just not used to old people looking old on tv
ok the waterbed looked cool, but I'm so mad they didn't kill him. It's probably another way to get around disney censorship but come on live a little
also the entrance to the underworld being in his mattress shop?? are you fucking serious
this is the first change that I've actually hated, like what the fuck
the entrance being in a record shop is funny and it makes sense because records/vinyl are sort of a dying fad, what's the reasoning behind the entrance being in a mattress shop???
I didn't really have many expectations for the crusty scene because it's not much of a thing in the books, but damn did that whole part annoy me
annabeth giving grover the stress ball was funny and made sense though, considering she couldn't have gotten it from waterland, and honestly her getting it from there doesn't really make sense in the first place
more about the earlier flashback, I have some thoughts about sally's characterization but I'll save it for later in this analysis
I get that all the dead lined up outside the wall makes more sense mythologically, but I'm too in love with the thought of having to sit in a record shop turned waiting room for eternity, it's just too funny to me
we didn't get charon's characterization :( I love charon in the books, I'm sad about that, justice for charon
the way cerberus just fuckin NOMMED grover, I don't think percy and annabeth freaked out enough about that, because I was freaking the fuck out
also I loved how they mentioned annabeth's dog as a kid, like that's how they should've been doing more of the exposition in previous episodes
having it be more of a background thing made it feel like a thing for the characters between the characters, instead of for the audience's sake
"it's in the dog" THAT HAD ME CACKLING he said it so dramatically with the dramatic music but it sounds so stupid I was dying repeating it to myself for so long
I LOVE what they did with the fields of asphodel, it was so creepy, and the implication that all the trees used to be people, it's so much creepier than just a bunch of people wandering around
I feel like it's a concept that's been done before somewhere, but I don't care, it's a cool concept
and then annabeth being rooted down by her regret, I feel like there should've been some beats between that and her explanation of the roots, but half hour episode, I've gotten used to the bad pacing by this point
also I'm assuming the regret has to do with running away from home? since her dad and their dog were mentioned and that's a whole thing in the book
maybe because athena's shown that she doesn't give a shit about annabeth, annabeth wants to give it another try with her dad? idk I'm just trying to think of what works logically tv series-wise
I didn't expect her using the pearl there, but honestly I think it works just fine, i have no complaints about that
percy and grover's interaction when they saw the bolt was so funny
and ok, I know they were gonna save percy's mom no matter what, but things have changed now that the solstice has passed. Zeus is already gathering an army so why aren't they rushing??
i think how they could've fixed that is have grover take the bag to bring it back to zeus, then have percy go on his own to save his mom. then maybe when he comes back to the beach ares is already there and attacking grover and annabeth or something
grover didn't do anything when talking to hades so I just think that could've worked better
OK NOW ABOUT THE FLASHBACK I...don't like how they handled sally being a mom
yes, being a mom is tough and I like that they're showing that, but when your kid asks you "why are you trying to get rid of me" you don't fuckin kiss them and walk away! that causes issues!!
I know that she didn't want to cry in front of him, I understand why she was hurt by that, but you don't just leave after your kid asks that! especially with how young percy was, she needed to reassure him that she's not trying to get rid of him
am I not seeing something here?? is that just my own trauma ringing through or something?? that was such a horrible move like oh my god, I was waiting the whole episode after that for her to go back and apologize or explain or SOMETHING, but we didn't get that
now I understand that line from an earlier episode about loving each other so much when you can only ever hurt each other, but damn
also final thought about sally, the woman playing her has a gorgeous side profile, I'm gonna draw it someday
anyway, hades's palace looks nothing like how I imagined it, I don't hate it, I just prefer my version way more mostly because I like Nico being like an actual prince in there
I hated Hades's new characterization for the first like 5 minutes, then I realized that he acts kinda like a confident Nico and that's funny
also I feel like this characterization makes him stand out more, it's very different from any other interpretation of Hades in media
at the same time it reminded me a bit of Hades in class of the titans, and that interpretation pisses me off to no end so...
but yeah, I still prefer book!Hades, but tv show!Hades is interesting so I like him
it really feels like the production crew figured out how to 3D print statues and Rick was like "that's cool, let's use statues whenever possible," there are so many damn statues in this show lol
"it's all candy canes and rainbows down here, I'm doing just fine" with the gloomy-ass wide shot and thunder in the distance, that's funny
with hades seeming to be the only one of the gods who's actively recognized how toxic the godly family is, it makes me curious how they'll handle his relationship with Nico if we ever make it to seasons 3 or 4
because his relationship with Nico is one of the better ones among godly parents, but it's not really the best in terms of parents, so I think they'd end up having to change a few things
the way sally summoned poseidon felt like a reversal of giving an offering at camp. she gave the fire to the food instead of the food to the fire. there's a meaning behind that, but I don't know how to articulate it
I was so certain that was poseidon walking up to percy, and then it turned out to be annabeth and I felt so dumb lol
but that means poseidon might be making an appearance to help percy in the fight against ares! right, maybe? i think it'd be cool
with how little percy's actually fought in the tv show, and with the exclusion of his training at camp, him beating ares without A LOT of help isn't gonna be satisfying, so we'll see
that little teaser with percy and luke going into the forest under the fireworks has me so excited
i feel like a lot of people have already said this, but I think all of the actual issues with the show are disney's fault. the censorship is just a small part of that, but the amount of episodes and their length was probably decided by disney, and that's really hurting the show.
yes, i have issues with the writing and the direction rick's taken with the series. but I definitely wouldn't have as many issues if disney allowed them more time each episode to expand on what they're going with. i saw someone say that an 8 episode series used to be called a miniseries and honestly, a miniseries isn't enough for an entire book to make it feel complete
anyway, with that all out of the way, I'm still enjoying the series, I had much fewer complaints about this episode than last episode, and honestly, all of my real complaints from this episode aren't gonna play a part in later seasons if we get them, so I'm alright with that
#pjo#percy jackson#pjo disney+#pjo tv show#pjo spoilers#percy jackson spoilers#pjo disney+ spoilers#pjo tv show spoilers#was a little late to this one bc I straight up forgot it was tuesday#someone please tell me they agree with my thoughts on sally#it feels wrong to say that i don't like something sally did

The Giant (13/16)
------Chapter 13------
The next spell I attempted was the growth spell. To be frank, I wanted to do certain things with my boyfriend that I couldn't accomplish at my current size. However, thus far I had only been able to grow double or triple my size, and only for a couple of minutes at the most. For perspective, that meant even with the spell at its most potent I was still smaller than Chester's hand.
Disappointed, I moved on to manifesting portals, with equally limited success. Lightning spells were harder for me to use, and worked better during a storm or near electrical devices. Initially, no portals appeared at all, just little balls of electricity shedding cobalt sparks. With practice, I made tiny portals appear, keyholes to another world that I could peek through. I could see little snippets of the human world, but I felt farther away from home than ever. I kept making more portals, this time the size of windows. I managed to keep them stable long enough for me to be able to pass through, but I didn't want to travel there yet, until my spells were more reliable. I didn't want to unintentionally strand myself without any way to get back to Chester.
One afternoon, there was another lightning storm brewing, so I decided to try and make a portal outside. Chester came out with me to keep me company. He sat on the porch steps behind me, watching me practice. I made a good-sized portal that was remarkably well-casted. From this side I could see my parent's farmhouse.
"Should I go through this time?" I asked Chester.
"You might as well," he replied. "I think you've practiced enough that you should be able to come back. I'm sure your folks are very worried about you." He picked me up in his hand and gave me a kiss. "I'll be waiting for you here. Take as long as you need."
As Chester made a motion to put me back on the ground, a bolt of bright blue lightning shot out of the sky and struck the portal. The portal exploded outward in a huge wave and showered us in blue sparks. In a flash, the portal expanded exponentially and sucked up Chester, with me still in his hand. It all happened so quickly, neither of us fully comprehended what happened.
Chester toppled out of the portal and fell with a tremendous crash on his rear end in an open field. I tumbled out of his hand a short distance and landed on the ground in between his legs. The portal, after spitting us out, fizzled with a stream of sparks and vanished. I stood up, dusted off my pants, and surveyed our surroundings. My parent's house wasn't far from us; I needed to rush over there and explain to them what was going on before they saw the giant in their backyard and freaked out. I had no doubt Chester shook the whole house when he fell on the ground with his huge bulk.
"H-hey..." Chester spoke up. I looked up at his face. He looked completely bewildered to the point of almost fear. "What just happened? Why... everything is so small!" He coiled his fingers around a nearby tree, which did indeed look diminutive next to his giant hand. I recognized how confused he must be, since he had never been in a human-sized world before. I recalled how difficult it had been for me to adjust to the Land of Giants, where everything was so big.
"Chester," I explained slowly, "this is the human realm." I pointed toward the house. "My parents live in there. They are going to panic if they see you." The house probably wouldn't even come up to his knees if he stood up. "Just... stay here for a minute. Don't get up."
Chester had a look of increasing alarm in his eyes but nodded at my words. He absently ran his fingers through the field of corn next to him, like a regular person might run his hand through grass. I didn't have time to reassure him; I needed to get to the house. I started to run in that direction, but I was too late. My dad had already come out with a big shotgun, with my mom following close behind. I waved my hands above my head to get their attention.
"Dad! Mom! Everything is okay!" I yelled in an effort to deescalate the situation.
"Jackie!" they shouted in unison. A rush of emotions cycled over their faces, but I noticed fear was dominant. "Over here! Hurry, run!" My father rushed towards me with urgency, brandishing his weapon towards Chester. He raised the gun to his eye to aim, and put his finger on the trigger.
"No, Dad! Don't shoot!" I screamed at him. My mother embraced me and forced me behind her, as if she by herself could protect me from the immense giant in front of us. Seeing Chester from their perspective, I could understand how terrified they were. In response to my words, my dad cautiously lowered his weapon, not taking his eyes off the giant. I heard aggressive barks and growls and saw their two pet dogs had joined us too.
"He's friendly," I clarified. "He wouldn't hurt anyone. He saved my life." My parents looked at me in shock, then back at Chester. The dogs continued to charge towards him, barking fearlessly. The giant carefully reached out to the dogs, palm up, and let them smell his hand. The dogs sniffed, wagged their tails, barked, and ran circles excitedly around him. Seeing that their dogs weren't crushed to a pulp or swiped up and eaten, my parents lowered their guard slightly, but were still on high alert.
"Jackie, where have you been all this time? You've been missing for weeks. We thought you were..." My mom couldn't bring herself to finish. I gave her a hug and she cried. My dad wrapped his arm around both of us, but still held the shotgun in his other hand, ready to use it if needed.
"It's a long story," I said. "Anyways... I guess I should introduce you to my boyfriend. This is Chester." My parents stared at me, and then at Chester, and then back at me, incredulous. Chester sat motionless, a light blush spreading on his cheeks. He was still baffled by his miniscule surroundings and hadn't yet recovered.
"You can't be serious," my mom cried, gaping. My dad furrowed his brow and glared at the giant. This impromptu introduction was not going well at all. Chester still hadn't said anything.
"Chester!" I called. "I wanted to introduce you to my parents, Gerald and Wendy."
When I called his name, Chester finally snapped out of his daze. "Um... h-hello," he greeted them nervously, running his hand through his hair. Of course he knew they were terrified of him, and he was a bit ruffled himself. "It's nice to meet you both." We were standing at an awkwardly far distance away from the giant, but he didn't want to frighten my folks by coming closer. I gripped their hands in mine and encouraged them to move forward. Initially, they both remained rooted to the spot. The dogs ran over to us, wagging their tails, then ran back over to Chester. One of them jumped up on his shoe and began gnawing on his shoelace. The other dog allowed Chester to pet him with his finger. Seeing their dogs act without fear, my parents reluctantly stepped toward the giant.
"Now, listen here, you," my dad lectured, raising a finger in the air, "if what Jackie says is true, you better treat her with nothing but the upmost respect, you understand me?" Despite his aggressive words, and his attempt to project confidence, I could tell my dad was still terribly frightened. He was painfully aware that the giant man could squash him like an insect if angered. His hand at his side was clenched around his gun so tight his knuckles were turning white, and his legs were shaking like jello. Chester must have noticed too, but my dad's effort to act normal put him more at ease.
"Of course, sir," Chester responded, tilting his head in respectful acknowledgement. There was an uncomfortable pause as nobody really knew what to say.
To break the tension, I cleared my throat and spoke up. "Chester has been wonderful to me Dad, you don't have to worry about that." I walked up to him and sat in his palm. He lifted me up to his knee and cradled me securely in his hands. My parents couldn't help staring in wonderment at his incredible size.
"Um... I'd invite you inside, but I d-don't think you'd fit in the h-house," my mom piped up, a tremor in her voice.
"It's alright, it's a nice day today anyways." Unlike the storm we left behind in the Land of Giants, the weather here was warm and sunny. Chester looked down at my mom and smiled. She was hesitant but timidly smiled back. My dad loosened his death grip on his gun. The moment was interrupted by Chester's stomach growling, which caused both my parents to jump in terror. Chester placed his hand on his belly with a pained expression on his face.
"Sorry about that," he mumbled, clearly embarrassed.
"Aw, are you hungry sweetie? I'll fix you something right up," my mother quickly interjected. She looked at me with worry. "What does he eat?"
"He'll eat anything Mom, don't fret," I answered. "Although, we really ought to be going if he's hungry. I doubt you'd have enough food in the whole house to prepare him a meal. He could probably eat the entire refrigerator." I laughed. My parents were intimidated by the thought of the giant's appetite, and could only manage to titter nervously.
"Before you go, can we speak to you Jackie? In the house?" my dad asked. I nodded, and Chester lowered his huge hand to the ground so I could dismount. My parents and I walked to the house, and the dogs paraded over when they saw us leaving together. Once we got inside, my parents both exhaled shakily and wiped the sweat from their foreheads. I knew they had been afraid at first, but I hadn't realized just how stressed they had been around Chester.
"Is everything okay Jackie? You're not hurt? He's not holding you against your will is he?" The questions poured from their lips like a flood. "Where did he come from? Why did it take you so long to get here? Where were you? And how is he your boyfriend?!"
I took a deep breath, and began the tedious process of explaining to them everything that had transpired. Well, not everything. I didn't tell them about all the times I had been gobbled up, or the little arrangement I had with Chester to control his appetite. I didn't tell them the gruesome details of my kidnapping, and how scared I had been around other giants, or all the dangers I still faced in the Land of Giants. I didn't tell them that giants do in reality eat people, just like in the fairy tales. In fact, I left out so much of the story that I hardly told them anything.
However, I did express to them how caring and gentle Chester had been to me, how he had rescued me from a potentially horrible fate the first night I had found myself amongst giants. I told them about my ability to use magic, and how all this time I had been learning so I could come back and visit them. And, of course, I told them about how my love for Chester had naturally blossomed, and my plans to stay with him in his world, the Land of Giants.
This last point did not sit well with my folks at all, but they knew they couldn't stop me from making my own decisions, and wished me the best. We hugged and said our farewells. My parents gave me a knapsack full of items I would find useful for living in a giant world, including human-sized plates, bowls, and silverware, which I was very grateful for. My mother, despite my protests, also insisted on at least feeding the hungry giant an apple pie she had baked, even though it would barely be more than a crumb to him due to his size.
She brought the pie out to him, along with some leftover roast chicken. She was still frightened of Chester, but her motherly compassion for an empty belly won out. Chester was charmed by the tiny food and tried his best not to scare her. He allowed her to place the roast chicken on the tip of his finger and lapped it up with delight. He carefully plucked the pie from her hands with his thumb and finger and placed it on his tongue, making sure not to accidentally swallow the pie tin with the pie.
"Mmmmm, delicious! My compliments to the chef," Chester remarked, returning to her the empty pie tin. My mother twisted her apron in her hand apprehensively and looked down at her feet.
"Thank you," she answered softly. I gave her a kiss on the cheek, proud of her for being so brave. I kissed my dad too, who had been standing at her side defensively.
"Well, I suppose we ought to be going," I stated. "Love you guys, I'll visit again soon."
"Love you too," my parents affirmed. They looked a bit sad to see me go.
I focused my energy on manifesting another portal and imagined Chester's cottage in my mind's eye. A ball of cobalt sparks appeared and inflated into a portal. I continued to expand the gateway, larger and larger. My parent watched with amazement. The thought occurred to me that I had never on my own created a portal big enough for a giant to pass through. The previous portal had been struck by lightning and became unstable due to the infusion of so much extra electricity. Pushing those concerns aside, I forced more magic into the portal. It had grown large enough for Chester's head to fit through, but not the rest of his body. I started to sweat and struggle. Despite my best efforts, I couldn't get the opening any bigger. The portal flickered and died. I cringed.
We had a serious problem on our hands. I was out of magic now, and might not be capable of making a large enough portal to transport Chester home, even at my full capacity. Chester was hungry, not having eaten a sufficient meal since breakfast. He was a voracious giant, with an empty belly, surrounded by his natural prey, humans. I just hoped he could hold himself in check long enough for us to get back without eating anyone. I made my best attempt to keep calm and act like the issue was only a minor inconvenience.
"Well, I ran out of magic. I'm going to have to rest up and... try again tomorrow. Would it be too much of an imposition for us to stay the night?"
My parents looked up at the huge giant uneasily. "He'll have to sleep outside obviously. It's a good thing we live out in the middle of nowhere," my dad grumbled.
Chester knitted his brow, clearly concerned. He put his hand on his belly and winced slightly. His stomach whined again for food. He looked at me with urgency in his eyes, and I could only frown and shrug my shoulders helplessly. I felt more and more alarmed at the impending crisis that could potentially unfold if I was unsuccessful in casting a giant-sized portal, but I couldn't show it. I didn't want to scare my folks any more than I already had today. Why did Chester always need to eat so damn much?
"Hey, is it okay if I eat one of those?" Chester asked my parents, pointing to a herd of cattle a ways off. They were fenced off in an adjacent field, blissfully unaware of the giant predator nearby as they munched on some hay.
"Uh, sure? I suppose we could slaughter one for you-"
Chester had other plans. Before my mother could finish speaking, the giant stood up to his full height, quelling her into silence. My parents hadn't seen him on his feet yet, and they quaked when they comprehended just how colossal he truly was. He took a single step, making sure not to crush the fence under his boot, and crouched down near the herd. He reached down and snatched up one of the cows in his hand. The cow bellowed in terror, but the giant swiftly put it out of its misery by snapping its neck with his teeth, decapitating the poor creature in the process. He cracked the skull with his molars like a human would crack the shell of a sunflower seed. Next, he tossed the carcass into his mouth and swallowed it, not even bothering to chew.
All the humans present gaped, flabbergasted. Even I was amazed to see him gulp down an entire cow, and I had seen him inhale plenty of meals. Oblivious to how rattled we all were, Chester returned to us and crouched down.
"That'll tide me over for a little while," he announced, licking his lips with satisfaction. My parents could only nod dumbly.
By now, the sun was beginning to set, bathing the farm in a twilight glow. My parents, eager for an excuse to get away from the scary giant, bid us goodnight and retired to their home. They offered me a bed to sleep in indoors, but I declined, opting to stay outside with Chester and keep him company. Luckily, with the summer season, the night was warm, and the stars were bright. Chester bedded down in the open field left fallow, and I settled down in my usual spot on his chest.
Once we were alone and more free to speak, Chester voiced his concerns. "Jackie, do you think you'll be able to cast a portal large enough to transport me?"
"I-I don't know," I confessed. "I hope so."
Chester hesitated before finally choking out, "I'm scared Jackie. I don't want to lose control again. I'm trying to hold it back, but it's a lot harder when I'm hungry."
I rubbed his chest with my hand. "I know Chester. Stay strong, okay? We'll just have to pray for tomorrow. Don't fret." After a pause, I asked him, "why do you always need to eat so much anyways? It's like you can't go without a single meal."
Despite the seriousness of the situation, Chester had to laugh. "Have you seen the size of me, woman? It takes a lot of food to fill someone as big as me. My body needs a lot of fuel to survive." He had a point.
I laid my head over Chester's huge heart and gradually drifted off.

The Marginal Service Episode 12 + Final Thoughts: Marginal Explosion
The final episode felt like it had too much to fit in. At least the ending is happy. I think the best thing about this episode is the happy ending.
Why I think it feels like too much is the fact that we get actual aliens and the reveal that the UN are the true enemies. Then, the Marginal Service come in. Then, the Borderlanders come in. Zeno finally reunites with his son and then Brian and Zeno go fight the mothership. See? Sounds crazy, right?
Like I mentioned in my review for the previous episode, the UN are the true villains. It also turns out that the guy with the mustache has been doing this because he’s afraid of aliens. He was the guy in the movie that Brian saw back in Episode 2; what a surprise. While what he did is bad, I don’t like the fact that he gets brushed off to the side as the real aliens come in as threats. Fortunately, he still gets punished.
The aliens feel like last-minute additions because they’re here to give Borderlanders some purpose and to be seen as good people. It turns out that everything the Marginal Service has been trying to uncover regarding Rubber’s organization has been to fight aliens. The main Borderlanders featured throughout the show come in to fight. I’m glad that Isabella is back. She’s so hot. Also, Rubber’s guitar is also a gun. HE HAS A GUITAR GUN!
The reunion between Zeno and his son Noah was heartwarming. I was surprised Noah was still able to recognize his father even after ten years. I’m also glad that the kidnapped kids actually aged, but Noah looks rather tiny for a fifteen year old. I’m assuming he didn’t get enough nutrients being stuck in there.
The battle between Brian and Zeno against the mothership was kind of weird. Like, how did Zeno managed to get changed and jump onto the top of that UFO? Like, how is Brian able to control the freaking UFO and knows where to shoot? I also kind of knew these two weren’t going to die because they’re the main characters. It’d also be a waste to have Zeno and Noah reunite and then have Zeno die.
At least everyone’s happy in the end. Immigrants are getting equal rights. The Marginal Service members are back to their daily lives. Theodore got his occult goods back. Zeno and Noah finally become family again with Brian occasionally visiting and making Zeno jealous because he’s an overprotective dad. The Borderlanders are also happy with Rubber Suit having a small concert in prison and the other Borderlander prison mates are having a good time with his performance.
All is happy, I guess. This anime was okay at best. It’s something I wouldn’t ever recommend. I’d only suggest this if you are a seiyuu fan. The voice actors all deserve a raise to being the only reason this anime managed to stay afloat.
FINAL THOUGHTS
I’ll be honest. This anime’s not that great. It’s only saving grace is the voice cast. Why cast such high quality voice actors for a show like this? The voice actors did the very best to make this anime stay afloat.
If there are good qualities, it’s that the anime was creative with how they used Borderlanders and Aliens for the sci-fi aspects. I did like how Borderlanders and such were a bit of a mystery that eventually got resolved in the end.
I also liked some of the characters. I liked Cyrus, Lyra, Rubber Suit and Isabella. The rest feels too one note. Brian’s okay since he got some development. Robin and Bolts also feel too one-note. The only character I dislike is Zeno. Others are just there or kind of forgettable.
The opening and ending songs are another saving grace. Mamoru Miyano and Yuma Uchida’s vocals are top notch. The opening and ending songs are the some of the few I never skip. Uchida’s rapping skills are great too.
I will repeat: the only good thing about this anime is the voice cast. That’s all. I only watched this because of the voice cast. They’re so good for such a bad anime. Like, when are you ever going to hear Kouki Uchiyama, the king of stoic anime men, use a gremlin voice again? When are you ever going to hear Mamoru Miyano click his tongue constantly again?
I wanted to like this anime and I did sometimes. All I can say is that no one should watch this unless they’re bored or watch anime for voice actors. That’s it. This anime gets a 3/10 for me. It’s a three because the voice actors saved this explosion of a show.
Marginal Explosion, everybody!

𝐍𝐈𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐎𝐘𝐀 𝐘𝐔𝐔: 𝐖𝐈𝐋𝐋 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐏𝐑𝐄𝐓𝐓𝐘 𝐏𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐄
# fem!reader, noya and managers: a prequel, noya is his own warning, crushes, this fic is very dumb, wc 500
nishinoya takes a glance at you, and in the span of a second, hears wedding bells in his head.
“ryuu,” nishinoya begins, voice thick with solemnity. a shadow casts over his eyes, betraying the usual brightness that comes naturally to him. “take care of kiyoko-san, will you?”
tanaka scrunches his face in confusion before it drops as if he’s been slammed by a volleyball. he roars an alarmed: “are you dying!?” and shakes nishinoya back and forth by the shoulders.
“what?” nishinoya laughs, shaking his head haughtily. “my bro, my dude, ryuu—i’m talking about her.”
he points at the door, where the rest of the eyes followed.
shimizu waves once, a happy smile that you’d rarely see on her gracing her lips. “sorry to disturb you,” she says, as all the boys hastily disagree, “we have a new manager starting today. please be kind to her.”
a manager, nishinoya’s brain dumbly echoes. and then, louder: YOUR manager.
a choir of angels is singing to him and he bows his head in gratitude, pointedly ignoring tsukishima’s disgusted noise from beside him.
tanaka, as anyone would expect, starts flocking to the karasuno’s managers, fawning over them as if he’s kissing the ground they’re walking on—maybe he is—and effectively freaking the new manager out.
“hey,” daichi intones, “tanaka.”
tanaka yelps, bolting away like a spring.
shimizu smiles down at you while you’re looking up at her like a lost puppy. cute… nishinoya’s soul sings along with the choir. “you wanted to see him, right? i didn’t lie when i mentioned he’s back in the club.”
you look back at the boys, surveying them with eagerness.
wait, who’s back in the club?
and then you look right at him, as if it’s a magnetic pull—and nishinoya is stuck on his spot, wide-eyed. a deer in headlights. “nishinoya-senpai!” you exclaim, delight dancing in your eyes.
senpai.
…nishinoya-senpai.
oh my god.
tanaka clasps his hands together to pray for a fallen soldier.
nishinoya’s heart explodes—well, not literally, but also not figuratively because he sure as hell feels like it. “y-you know me?”
he tries to say it triumphantly. ha! take that! pretty manager acknowledged me and me only! kneel before me etc, etc. but his voice cracked and his face is too red to be cool.
“ah,” and then you tip your head forward for a quick bow, “yes. i—um, i saw your match. back at chidoriyama.” a fan! wait. you’re a fan!? “watching you play… inspired me to get into volleyball.”
ding. ding. ding. church bells sing again.
nishinoya gets on one knee right in front of you, “please be my wife.”
his future wife stammers a flustered, “ah, uh, no thanks?”
oh. duh. idiot, you don’t have a ring right now.
nishinoya watches as you, flabbergasted, get pulled around the room while the boys introduce themselves. and he swears he isn’t kidding, but you keep glancing at him just as much as he’s staring openly at you.
“wow,” tanaka says as he walks up from behind him. “she likes you. can i be your best man?”
“you will always be my best man, ryuu.”
you smile at them, and then make eye contact with him once again. “thank you for having me.”
someday, he’ll be able to say to you: i told you so. and he cannot fucking wait for that time to come.

Levi was sprinting through the dimly lit halls, pursued by onlookers. When he used to dwell in The Underground, a covert term for the filthiest slums in Mitras, Wall Sheena's most populous city, he had stolen a loaf of bread from the bakery. “Thief, thief,” shouted the crowd behind him as he bolted for his life. He wasn't a coward, and he was a self-taught marksman and martial arts student, but he was in a hurry to assist his ailing mother, Kuchel. She could only eat one loaf of bread at a time. He tripped over a rock while running and was about to drop the loaf of bread when he screamed. As he yelled, his body jolted as he was startled awake by the ringing of his mobile alarm. He grumbled and turned off the alarm, taking deep breaths to bring himself back to reality.
He sat up and drew his legs closer to him, his elbows on his knees, his face on his open hands, and he groaned nonstop. He had been having recurring nightmares for a long time and had no idea how to stop them. With troubled eyes, he gazed to his left at a framed photo of his mother, who was currently in a coma, hoping that she would recover soon enough to witness his debut in his first cinematic venture. His phone abruptly rang at the right bedside table. He checked the caller ID and saw that it was Furlan, one of his best pals who was now working as an assistant director in the Eldian Film Industry, along with two other people on the conference call.
Levi answers the phone, his jaw clenching in irritation, only to hear his two other close friends, Isabel and Hange, shriek at the fact that Levi was half-naked. “Put on a freaking shirt, Levi bro,” Isabel grumbles, her left arm concealing her eyes while her right grips the phone. He gets out of bed, throws the phone on the bed, looks for a black full-sleeve shirt, puts it on, and returns to the call with a large grunt.
Isabel teases, “It took you long enough, Levi bro.” “Get to the point, Isabel,” Levi continued, grumbling. “Why did you all call me?” says the narrator. Hange rambled on, enthralled. “I hope you remember, Leviiiii, that you have to meet him today.” “Who is he?” Levi wondered, his eyes narrowing. “Erwin Smith, the head of the Survey Corps Productions,” Furlan interjected. “He was the one who cast your mo-” “Shhh!” Isabel says to Furlan, calming him down. “Levi bro doesn't need to be reminded of his mother's lineage.”
“All right, I'll go,” Levi said, sighing. “Now, everyone, hang up, right now. Don't forget to meet me there, four-eyes,” he said, addressing Hange.
They saluted him and said, “Aye, captain,” putting an end to the call. “Ugh, Do I really have to do this?” he grumbled, but then turned to gaze at his mother's photo and replied, “Only for you, ma.”
Levi chose to go by a mononym when he discovered he was descended from the Ackerman family, one of Tinseltown's most prominent families along with the Yeager and Arlert families because he carried animosity towards the clan for isolating his mother when he was born out of wedlock. He'd worked odd jobs, extra roles, and minor actor roles ever since to develop a sense of punctuality, cleanliness, orderliness, and a sense of understanding of the profession so he could help her find work. Until she was involved in an accident and went into a long-term coma, with doctors unsure when she would wake up. That’s when a tall, blonde-haired man with a certain nobility about himself introduced himself to Levi as Erwin Smith, the renowned director.
“Levi, I was good friends with your mother. Ever since her banishment, I've made it a point to find her work in some capacity.”
Rolling his eyes, Levi says, “Look, Mr. Smith, I understand that you’ve extended your helping hand to my mother in the past, but now you can wash your hands of her,” gesturing to Erwin’s hands, “because she’s in a coma, and there’s nothing you can do to help.”
Erwin adds, folding his arms, “I knew you’d say something like that. Hence, I did not only come here to see Kuchel but also to see you. I'm offering you a lead role in my film, 'Attack on Titan,' as your first major cinematic role. You can then invest your money towards her treatment. How do you feel about that?”
He then turned to face his dying mother, who was still on a ventilator and fighting for her life. He then phoned his manager, Hange Zöe, as well as his best friends, Furlan Church and Isabel Magnolia, who had already entered the film industry, working as assistant directors to Miche Zacharius. They eventually persuaded him to do the film after a long and drawn-out argument. Levi then shook Erwin's hand and agreed to the bargain.
Erwin saw Levi and Hange come into the office with a black polo neck shirt and blue jeans on the first day of the script reading of “Attack on Titan.” “Okay, let's finish this soon,” Levi grunted, to which Erwin replied, “sure, sure, come in. The actress has yet to arrive.”
Suddenly, someone knocked on the door a couple of times before Erwin answered, “Come in,” causing the door to open and you to enter. In addition to your black jeans, you were wearing a white shirt with lace at the top. Every time you showed up, it was as if the entire world came to a halt for Levi.
When Levi saw you for the first time in the film, “Shiganshina Came Crumbling Down,” his eyes lit up. Not only was he in awe of your beauty, but also of the way you carried yourself. When he played small parts in TV shows and movies such as “Escape to Trost,” “Life at the Garrison,” and so on, he gained more respect for you. In your initial encounters and later interactions, you appeared kind to him.
He shook his head in disbelief, “Mr. Smith, am I-” Erwin smiled, continuing, “I remember you said you liked (Y/N) (L/N), so what better way to get to know her than by working with her?”
Both of you shook hands with each other, you stated while smiling, “It will be a pleasure to work with you, Levi,” and he agreed, replying “Same here, Ms. (L/N).” As they sat, she laughed and said, “Please, call me (Y/N). It's okay.”
As she turned to Erwin, Levi noticed that she had a genuine bond with him, one based on love and respect. You honestly felt glad that you had Erwin by your side. He’d been there for your ups and downs and stayed with you by your side. He was your husband after all.
However, because Erwin wanted to keep the marriage a secret (one of the reasons being that the industry is not kind to married women working in films), only both of your friends were the ones that knew, which included Mikasa Ackerman, Eren Yeager, Armin Arlert, Jean Kirstein, Connie Springer, and Sasha Braus. They were the ones who would keep an eye on you and warn you to be cautious around Erwin. Not because he didn't love you; he just had a different way of expressing it.
As you and Levi rehearsed the lines from the script, you both silently noticed that the flow was surprisingly smooth, as if they knew exactly what and how they were going to say the lines. Erwin was ecstatic about the interaction. The script readings went so well for a few days that you all decided to start shooting right away.
Months after the filming began, the level of difficulty gradually increased, especially for Levi. “I don't know how to channel these feelings into acting.”
“That's because you always have a straight face,” Furlan joked, and Isabel laughed along. Levi scowled at both of them, causing them to stand firm.
“Well, why don't you guys bond?” Hange suggested, laughing. “Start talking more, and maybe you guys will eventually help each other, and Leviii, maybe it will benefit you in some way,” they shrugged and grinned at him.
After some thought, Levi responded, “I don't see why that wouldn't be a good opportunity.” “So it's settled,” Erwin said as he clapped. “Levi, you and (Y/N) should get together and practice lines, stat.”
You went to Levi's house that day and began rehearsing the lines. While you two were taking a break, Levi nervously asked, “Would you like anything to drink? Tea, coffee, or something else?” You replied, “I'd like tea with milk, please.” Levi smiled at you, nodding in agreement and relieved that you liked tea as much as he did.
You enjoyed his way of making tea while you two were drinking. “Levi, this is some of the best tea I've ever had!” you exclaimed with twinkling eyes, “how did you learn to make it?”
Levi's eyes became sad as he looked down at the ground and said, “My mother used to teach me. She enjoyed drinking tea like this.”
You placed your hand on his and said, “Erwin informed me of the situation. I'm truly sorry. What is your mother's condition?”
Levi sighed, “She's doing okay, but I'm...,” his voice becoming softer as his shoulders sagged. “I'm terrified, (Y/N). What if she doesn't make it? Everything will be for naught.”
You took a deep breath and held his hand, “Levi, if it weren't for Erwin, I wouldn't be here today. As the world knows, the (L/N) family is well-known, but it wasn't always that way. They were in shambles and were unable to support themselves. When I was seven years old, my parents split, and I was raised by two families, one of whom, the (L/N) family, became famous. It was through them that I first met Erwin. Our conversation finally led to a strong friendship. However, both of my families liked to tell me what to do, how to eat, and how to look, and that bothered me a lot, it made me feel uncomfortable within my skin, but then Erwin promised them that he’d take care of me and I moved out of the house ever since.”
“The fact that I’m able to be the way I want to be where I am, was because I chose to do so,” you continued, putting your hand on Levi’s shoulder, smiling, “and so can you. I’m very sure that your mother loves you very much and wants nothing but the best for you. I know you’re doing this for her, and she must already be proud of you for going through this regardless.”
He turned to you with a sorrowful expression, his anxious breaths slowly calming down, smiling at you, “thank you, (Y/N). It meant a lot, and I’m sorry I had no idea you were going through a lot.”
Nodding, you smiled at him, and like gravity was trying to set you two up, you were about to stand up, but because your feet were sore, you stumbled and were about to fall off your chair, only for Levi to catch you. Both of you couldn’t explain what this pull you had towards each other but as you were going to give in to the moment, your faces approaching each other, you’re brought back to reality with a jolt as you receive a phone call from Erwin.
“Hi, Erwin,” you answer the call, and you hear from the other side, “babe, are you still at Levi’s house? Let me pick you up.” You nod, “yes, Erwin, I’m here. Thank you, please let me know whenever you’re here.”
You two adjust your clothing as if you were about to commit a travesty. “Can we not-” you start, but Levi interrupts you, “don’t worry, I won’t tell Erwin or anyone. Thank you, for everything.”
You nodded, thanking Levi, as you got a call from Erwin, where he informs you that he had reached. Levi waved goodbye to you as you got into the car with Erwin, who said, “I miss you, baby,” as he kissed you on the cheek, and you smiled while he drove you home.
Over the next few days, shooting continued as usual, but suddenly, one day, you felt uneasy, nauseated, even. So you said you would be back in five minutes. That five minutes turned into an hour. Erwin checked on you in the meantime, and another hour passed by.
Levi was then sent to your vanity car to call for you but as he approached you, he could hear you crying from outside. So, to avoid being caught, he stayed out of their line of vision, while peering through their window. “Babe, I can’t do this, I can’t hide whatever we have with us,” you vent to Erwin as Levi overhears with a confused expression.
“(Y/N),” Erwin said with a straight face, “you know that the fans of the Elysian Film Industry are not kind towards married women,” causing Levi to gasp silently in shock, but what was said next, caused him to go blank for a while, “let alone be married to me and be the mother of our child.”
In trying to comprehend what he had just heard, Levi realized he needed to get out of their sight before Erwin saw him. Thus, he hid behind the vanity car. His heart sank as he squatted on the ground, shocked to learn that his romantic interest was married and pregnant. It irked him more as he realized that you had to hide all of this due to prejudice against married women.
A moment later, he contemplated walking out of the film shooting, the reason being that it hit too close to home. He was reminded of why he hated this industry, to begin with, because his mother was isolated from him by it. Even so, he was determined not to leave you behind as he wiped the tears from his cheeks despite not having realized they were flowing. Instead, he will be by your side every step of the way.
Levi waited for Erwin to go before knocking on your door and calling out to you as he clenched his fist and clicked his tongue in annoyance. As Erwin left, he knocked, “Can I come in, (Y/N)?” You responded, “sure, please come in,” sniffling and wiping away your tears as you put on a phony grin.
When Levi enters, he kneels alongside you and takes your hand in both of his. He looks at you, concernedly. “(Y/N)? Is everything alright with you? Can I help you in any way?”
Even though you smiled, cupped his cheek, and said, “I'm fine, Levi. Thank you for taking such good care of me. I was just sick, that’s all,” he wasn't convinced by your response, but he was willing to overlook it all for the sake of your well-being.
Because you weren't feeling well during the next few days, production had to wind up early. Levi had noticed that your face had turned pale and you'd lost your usual pleasant smile one day at the shooting when you opted to leave early. Your shoulder had a bruise that he could see through. He sensed something had happened to you, and he was determined to find out what it was.
This time, Levi was the one who came home to see you, and when your butler opened the door, he was momentarily astonished, as if he had seen a ghost. Your face looked pale, your makeup was streaked with tears, there was a lot of material all over the place, and you were sobbing hysterically.
“(Y/N), are you okay? Please tell me what happened!” he exclaimed as he ran to you and took you in his arms. He looked at you with sad eyes, softly asking, “It’s okay, shhh,” quieting you, “I’m here. So, please, tell me what happened.”
That’s when you wrapped your arms around him, sobbing, “Levi, my baby, she’s gone. I had a miscarriage. Ever since then, Erwin’s been rude and distant with me, in private,” and showed her shoulders that had bruises, marks that most likely looked like from being hit. You continued, sniffling, “I even suspect that he's been cheating on me.”
This pissed Levi off but as he was about to suggest halting the production of the film, you said, sniffling, “Listen, Levi, we’re going ahead with the film. I don’t want this film’s reputation to be marred by this, it’ll cause a scandal and I don’t want that right now, so please, can we still do the film?”
He caressed your head and said, “okay, but I’ll be staying with you in the vanity car as a ruse for practicing lines. I want to protect you,” and that caused you to nod.
For the next few days, you hide your emotions and pain and channel it through acting out certain scenes. Erwin felt would make this your best performance, when in truth, you're terrified of his behavior if things go wrong.
However, the ambiance deteriorated. Erwin treated you rudely anytime you made a minor mistake, forcing you to shudder and be afraid of him. He insulted you in front of everyone by stating that he took you from nothing and made you the actress you are right now and that you needed to pull yourself together.
You were irritated especially since this was the first time he criticized you in public, but the completion of the project was critical to you. As you returned to the vanity car to rehearse lines, you found safety in Levi, who was wise beyond his years. He, a rookie, supplied more insight into his character than any seasoned actor you'd dealt with, and he incorporated that into their methods. It had gotten to the point where you only felt comfortable in the vanity car or other places where you hung out with Levi.
During one such vulnerable moment, in the vanity car, you were crying while he was hugging you. “Levi,” you sniffled, as you two were sitting in the car, “I don’t understand why he’s being rude to me, he’s not spoken a word of kindness to me these past few days, and I’m scared that he’ll leave me.”
Levi cups your cheeks with his hands and says, “If I were you, I’d walk out of the movie and the marriage, because you deserve much better, but I know that you’re a champion and you’ve handled him so far, I believe you can handle him till the end of the film. You should leave him, though,” smiling at you while wiping the tears off your face.
He examined your face for a moment, and looked at you in sheer awe. “(Y/N), do you have any idea how beautiful you are?”
Suddenly, something sparked in his mind as he took something out of his bag to give you something. It was a snow globe that had the figures of two of them kissing while the snow was falling. As he keeps the snow globe to a side, in awe of him and everything that he’d been doing, you put your hands around his neck, draw your face closer to him and place a peck on his lips. Levi was expectedly dumbfounded by this action but closed his eyes anyway to not let go of the moment.
However, what was supposed to be a peck evolved into something else as your lips start to lock with each other, and you two end up kissing hard, as your fingers raked through his hair and he places his hand on the nape of your neck. A good amount of time passed by as you two were kissing only for realization to hit you hard as you forcefully released yourself from the kiss. “Levi, this, this can’t happen.” You stutter as Levi nods, and while both of you stayed silent, both of you realized that this was the best kiss that each other had in the longest time.
Despite that moment, everyone behaved professionally, not wanting to interrupt the shooting schedule, ensuring the film’s success. However, both of you were oblivious to the fact that ever since the accidental kiss you two shared, you're all he thought about, and he was all that you thought about.
You were the light in his life that was shrouded in darkness, and he was the escape that you needed from your harsh reality. As his Instagram account was established, and he uploaded the photographs that Furlan forced him to upload from the photoshoot, many people loved him, and many people judged each other for loving him and claiming him to be theirs, but one day, when the shooting ended, as you turned to him while you were walking away with Erwin, the languages that your eyes spoke said a thousand words to each other than flattery ever could. You two were truly in love with each other in a world full of facades, and you didn’t want to be okay without each other.
During your usual hangout at your vanity car, once you were done rehearsing the lines, you stared into each other’s eyes continuously, and with panting breaths, it hit you two that both of you realized that you liked each other and couldn’t stay away from each other. That’s when you gave in to your desires as you drew your faces closer to each other enveloping yourselves into a deep kiss as you move back to the bedroom that you’d made for quick naps.
As the clothes started to peel off each other’s bodies, the sheets were witness to a new love story blossoming as Levi kissed you in places that had the bruises, which caused you to wince, but he didn’t lose eye contact with you, because before you went back to shooting, he needed to express how deeply in love with you he was.
This didn’t end up being a one-time thing as every day, whenever you two finished practicing, you two would sleep with each other. You thus started a tryst with Levi unbeknownst to Erwin, who was clearly in awe of the way you two acted eventually in the scene, bringing the passion you two had for each other towards the film.
You didn’t just get closer to Levi physically. You two talked more often, connected on a deeper level than you with Erwin, and he introduced you to Furlan and Isabel, who accepted you wholeheartedly and were willing to defend you with all they had. Hange, while being friendly with you, warned the both of you, suggesting that you two be careful as Erwin would make life uneasy for you if he found out.
When Mikasa found out about the situation, she was concerned and doubtful about Levi’s intentions. However, once they met, she realized that he truly possessed the blood of an Ackerman. Stern and stubborn, yet kind-hearted deep down and accepted him wholeheartedly, willing to pitch in to help in however she could to ensure Kuchel’s recovery. During this time, Erwin and you had a big argument which led to you exclaiming that you were moving out of the apartment, and you then moved into Isabel’s apartment to ensure you and Levi continued to meet in secret to avoid any scandal.
Five months later, the production was wrapped up and the film was set to release. A day before the private screening, Erwin called you, “(Y/N), are you excited about the private screening? I’d like it for us to go together.”
You scowled and were dumbfounded by his audacity to still appear on good terms in public. “Listen, Erwin,” you retorted, sitting up on the couch while you were initially lying down, “no matter how much you cajole me to come back to you, it’s not going to work. You’d made me feel miserable about myself ever since I had the miscarriage. Do you think I depended on you to get out of my miserable past? No, I chose to go with you. We married each other, remember? Or no, your reputation is too important for you, more important than our marriage!”
Erwin laughed maniacally as fear gripped you with his tone changing to something that she’d never heard. “Oh, poor (Y/N),” Erwin smirked, “did you think I’ll let the baby come into the world while we were supposed to be the most successful couple? Hah!” He scoffed, “absolutely not! Isn’t that right, Petra baby?” Petra? Baby?
You thought to yourself for a moment as it clicked. “Wait, Erwin,” you inquired, “did you cause the-” Erwin laughed again, as he responded arrogantly, “yes! I was the one who caused the miscarriage. Remember when I asked my assistant, Petra, to serve you tea before I came to call for you?”
Your eyes widened in the realization that that day, Erwin slipped a pill in the tea, that caused you to feel uneasy and that’s how you eventually lost the baby. You started seeing red as you clench your fists in rage, but as your (E/C) orbs land on the picture of the two of you in the hall, an idea pops in your mind as you take a deep breath and tell Erwin with a cunning smile, “you know what? Let’s go! There’s no point in arguing, right?”
As you walk in your red halter neck gown with Erwin and Levi to the private screening, several pictures were taken by different paparazzi. As you posed with different supporting actors, and finally, when you posed with Erwin and with Levi, people could observe the difference in your interactions. All of you went inside the theater, and as all of you saw the final product, Levi and you secretly held hands as you two saw that every scene was picturized beautifully and for his debut, Levi created magic on screen.
After coming out of the screening, Erwin was interviewed by Connie who had opted to be one of the interviewers for the screening. “Hello, Connie,” Erwin greeted him with a smile, following which Connie grinned, replying, “Hello, Mr. Erwin, I hope you can spare a couple of seconds for an interview.” Erwin nodded, causing Connie to tell Sasha to roll the camera and Jean to make notes. “So, Mr. Erwin,” Connie asked, “how did you like your film?” Erwin beamed and continued, “I can’t be more proud of my casting choices. As always, (Y/N) has left her mark on screen as one of the most talented actresses, period, but it was Levi’s night tonight as he shone on screen. He is a force to be reckoned with.”
Connie smiled, continuing, “that’s wonderful. Speaking of (Y/N), we’ve heard from different sources, that you two are actually married in secret, and that she even bore your child, is that true?”
Erwin scowled on hearing this, but put up a fake smile, saying, “Even if it was true, the industry sadly makes fun of married women, saying that they don’t deserve to work, so you should be able to understand why we kept our marriage a secret?”
Not fazing from his stance, Connie then asked a hard-hitting question. “Ah, that makes sense. Is that why you caused her to have a miscarriage?”
Erwin widened his eyes in shock, how did people come to know? Nervously laughing, Erwin said, “oh, but that’s nonsense. Who told you that?”
That’s when he heard a voice from a distance who replied, “I did,” Levi approached Erwin and Connie and replied, “Erwin, I thank you for the opportunity that you gave me. Working with you gave me the confidence I didn’t know I needed. However, I dug deep into some articles, and I realized that it was you, who reported to the press that my mother was pregnant with me, causing her to be isolated from the family. I also know, that my once close friend, Petra Ral, who now works with you, is now dating you. So, when I came to Isabel's house, I noticed that you and (Y/N) talking over the phone. So, I found a way to record the conversation and once I recorded the conversation, I found enough arsenal needed to take you down. So I took the tape to Mikasa, who took it to Eren and Armin, who then took it to Connie, Jean, and Sasha and we devised a plan, together.”
That’s when Levi’s uncle, Kenny Ackerman, a senior superintendent in the Military Brigade of Mitras, cuffed Erwin’s hands with Sasha continuing to record the whole thing. “Erwin Smith,” Kenny ordered, “you are under arrest for…”
As Kenny was reading out the crimes Erwin was arrested for, Levi walked away from there and ran to you to hug you. Your hug then caught the attention of a section of paparazzi. “It’s all over now, baby. We can be together without any fear and I promise to support you in every way,” he tells you while you smile, seeing that justice was finally served.

*sing* it's been ~a while~
and i have been watching vm vs the nein a lot so let's talk about it. as always with me, this is a very long word vomit.
i said over on my mechanics post that the vm playbook requires urgency while the nein's playbook requires setup. here's what i mean. if the nein can make it to round 3-4 intact, that is if all of them are up, they are going to win. period. the nein simply have too many ways to steal turns from their enemies or to maximize their own effectiveness for things to go any other way.
if you want to see this in action even with a reduced roster, go watch the fire elemental fight in episode 129 and count the rounds. between caduceus' mass cure wounds and spirit guardians, caleb's slow, veth's sneak attacks, and jester's guiding bolts, the nein were able to scrape out a win thanks more to their bag of tricks than the damage output. veth only got sneak attack because of guiding bolt's secondary effects, slow kept veth safe from an opportunity attack and jester from a multi-attack, mass cure wounds gave caleb that round to cast slow, and the spirit guardians passively whittled down the enemies into KO range. the accumulated secondary effects were too much for the enemies to withstand and they fell hard. notice how everything built on one another here. that's what cockroach parties learn to do well. it was sloppier than a normal nein fight but they did it with a reduced roster AND with nearly all of their high level spell slots spent before the fight. yeah, they're fucking scary.
vm, however, is a whole different kind of scary. this team can put you down before you even know what's happening. it's harder to target the group's biggest damage dealers because you have a hulking barbarian and often an elemental up front locking down combatants. the dagger rogue can teleport and fly. oh, and give himself an extra action each round. the ranger and the gunslinger can stand back and just go to town. the freaking bear can maul you. the bard can make your life a living joke in your final moments. the cleric is a wildcard because the group is built to fight without her; if she's around, good luck because that's another round of attacks you have to take and an extra round vm can take. their DCs are ridiculous, as are their overall ACs.
but the thing to know about vm is that they have to put you down fast. they don't have the hit points for longer fights and they definitely don't have the utility for longer fights. their druid is offensively oriented, their cleric is often absent, and their bard is mostly support. he's often the only one running that bag of tricks. he can and will fuck up an opposing team given the chance and bolster his own, the problem is that he has almost no backup here. it's a giant hole that is begging to be exploited. it's an even bigger hole when that bard can only cast one spell per round.
so, going into the battle royale, the vm side had to down one member of the nein as fast as possible preferably in two rounds or fewer. it almost doesn't matter who, because if you down beau or fjord, that forces jester or fjord to spend their action or spell getting the downed member back up. if jester goes down, fjord has to do something about it. well, i say it almost doesn't matter but beau's deflect missiles makes her the worst target of the trio and yes, i'm including fjord's half-orc bounce back in that calculation. that gives you one round where the person healing isn't fucking up your team. vm's secondary objective was to monitor and control beau. her movement is nothing to compared to a hasted vax but her stunning strike is the most lethal weapon the nein brought into this fight. vm overall is not a melee group to begin with and their con saves are all garbage. vm has to find a way to keep her off their tails if they want a chance. we also know that vm's plan was to try to take out jester first so throw that objective into the mix as well.
all the nein have to do is survive the first couple rounds, monitor scanlan and pike, and get into position. that's basically it. the nein can absolutely withstand vax and percy's damage output for the first two rounds. pike and scanlan's damage output can be scary but pike in particular has to decide whether she wants to hold high level slots for healing. and she would need those higher level slots to get close to percy and vax's damage output. the nein know from experience that the support caster is where the real trouble will begin.
but before we kick things off, remember that matt specifically designed this battlefield to take turns away from the teams. the chests are an action to search and are located far out of the way in the field. the gem requires an action to activate, which basically means sacrificing your action for someone else's, and shifts between six designated points on the field. matt, who has a deep understanding of how both teams operate, decided to play on the nein's insecurities that they were at a severe item disadvantage and see if he could get them to bite. high risk, high reward. granted, this is me speculating but it does look like matt saw the fight very differently from the players and readjusted the field accordingly.
so we kick off and immediately scanlan proves why he is the top priority on the nein's list. he gets the gem, gets fjord prone on the ground, and comes within a hair's breadth of turning the fight into a five on two potential slaughter. travis brilliantly responds to these circumstances in the best of ways. see, fjord isn't the nein's utility magician for this fight; fjord's the bait. travis makes a very big spectacle of himself and fjord's predicament. and vm buys it hook, line, and sinker. ashley tries to continue with the original plan of gunning for jester only to discover that jester is who knows where.
vax, percy and scanlan? immediately take their shots at fjord. but fjord's on the ground which puts percy's awful misfire mechanic into reasonable play. so fjord gets lucky and doesn't take anywhere near the amount of damage he could have from percy. scanlan, after percy is removed from the field, decides he's better off trying to finish fjord but only hits a 3rd level thunder wave instead of a higher level one, which sam was probably saving for some counterspells or such. i don't think a higher level would have made that much of a difference but it is important to note.
more importantly, vax gets greedy. he got two good hits on fjord with his two actions, he could have left and hidden for the next turn. yes, vm has to down fjord as fast as possible. however that haste is going to be more effective over the long term if vax can keep it. but fjord's easy prey and he thinks vm can down him before jester can get over there to do anything about it. so he goes for the bonus action attack. pike eventually joins this mad dash scramble and like scanlan, she absolutely needed to throw something huge at fjord to get past his half-orc racial trait to have a prayer at downing him. but she did not because ashley seems to have been saving all her high levels for healing so fjord survives the round in honestly a very good position. vax can't target him from range with the cloud up, scanlan now has bigger problems than fjord with molly right up on him, and pike ran, taking damage and healing fjord in the process.
meanwhile, the nein's ladies are free to run and play the field as they see fit. jester has a big opening round flame strike. beau decides she can hold off on her round 2 blitz run to vm in favor of bringing molly onto the field. remember kids, never let a monk with 55ft of movement have the run of the place, it's bad for business. jester then makes a great play with her dispel magic at vax's haste. hashtag thanks, fjord. remember, kids, cockroach parties excel at taking turns and actions away from their opponents. in round 2 alone, the nein successfully remove percy from the field and remove vax's extra attack. that's both big damage dealers hobbled in one round. they also gave themselves an extra turn, adding molly onto the field. and oh boy, molly.
here we see the utility martial fighter molly could have been. sam's confused by the low damage that molly's doing his first round but the damage isn't really the point of the attacks. that brand of tethering is far more important, as are taliesin keeping an eye on which reactions will support the nein and molly's second attack wasting scanlan's reaction. counterspell is off the table for the back half of round 2-beginning of round 3, which is important if fjord wants to get the heck out of dodge.
in case it wasn't obvious earlier in the match that the nein are absolutely gunning for scanlan, round 3 begins with beau's blitz against scanlan. fjord's luck against the dominate person balances out with scanlan's save against the stun and beau missing one attack. here, vm starts to get distracted. they chose their focus fire target, fjord, but now do not, arguably cannot, follow through on it. we'll never know what could have happened had vm said to hell with beau and molly in our faces, we have to finish fjord.
vax tries to retaliate against beau but here's where the cockroach starts to come into play. molly blood curses vax, which saves beau a full sneak attack+ worth of damage. it also utterly wastes vax's turn. fjord manages to escape (and damage pike while he's at it) and regroup where it's safe. scanlan tries to dimension door but fails due to the brand. literally any other move scanlan could try on the pair of them had a better chance of success. instead, another vm turn is lost. taliesin recognizes the importance of getting beau advantage and supports her at the cost of two of his attacks missing, but not before scanlan is forced to cutting words one of them. another potential counterspell and cutting words lost. neither jester or pike contribute significantly to this round; the nein have done so much damage to pike in three rounds that she is forced to heal herself while jester chooses to dimension door herself to the gem and only a low damage roll lets it evade her.
beau takes molly's setup and gets the critical scanlan stun. he loses his full round. fjord takes the opportunity molly provided him to polymorph into a t-rex, bringing him fully back into the fight. vm is really going to have a time and a half trying to finish him now unless they can put up a big single damage attack. jester builds on beau's setup by casting flame strike, whose dex save scanlan automatically fails. he goes down. if you're the nein, this is exactly where you want pike focused, on her team and not on yours. she has access to most of the same spells that jester has and the more you pressure her to focus on her team, the better. it's not wasting her turn, precisely, but it is controlling what she can reasonably do with it.
now we come to percy versus beau. i don't want to diminish the insane good luck beau had to take only 26 points of damage from six shots because what matters here is that percy absolutely could not down beau. period. her hit points were too high and after she took almost nothing from the first two shots, it should have been clear that she was going to get her turn and she would absolutely attempt to stun and down pike and scanlan. i'm not going to monday morning quarterback this fight but i will point out that the more rolls travis has to make to maintain concentration, the greater the chance he fails and you get to hit fjord's actual hit point pool and trade fjord for scanlan. and if you can get him before he can get back into the fray, even better.
beau stuns the gnomes and drops scanlan again. her inner cockroach rears its head once more as she negates more than half the damage on vax's critical hit sneak attack. fjord-rex downs scanlan and grapples pike. the stun on pike here really helps negate that high AC of hers. after scanlan's death, it's a long slow death spiral. vax abandons the fight in the next critical round in favor of keeping the gem instead of targeting fjord. percy attacks beau once more instead of fjord due to fjord dangling pike over lava. he starts to focus on fjord only to get distracted by jester. pike goes down but vax gets caught by beau before he can get her back up. and so it goes with vm losing turn after turn after turn until finally the nein poof percy out of existence and bring molly back. a fitting end for the team who started their final boss fight with eight and came out nine.
bottom line here, the vm team played like they had way more time than they actually did. they had to commit to a target and see it dead as fast as possible. they had to control the battlefield quickly and keep it. they didn't so they couldn't. aside from building on damage dealt, they couldn't create advantages or opportunities for each other nearly as effectively as nein did. all of these factors meant that the nein did what they always do: grind their enemies under heel.

___________________________
“Where is he?” Sam grabbed the counter and shouted startling the people gathered in the kitchen. Steve spilled his coffee, Wanda threw her apples, and Tony choked on his cereal milk coming out of his nose.
“Who!” Steve said angrily.
“Buck!” Sam growled.
“We don’t fucking know!” Tony yelled as Pepper cleaned him up with a napkin. Sam bolted out of the kitchen down the hall scanning for the soldier.
“Where are you, you fucking metal-armed freak!” he screamed.
Bucky on the other hand had slipped easily past your door; just barely cracking it to see an angry Sam Wilson stomping through the hall in search of Bucky. What for? Well, Sam has this fear roaches; he hates them, absolutely despises even the thought of a cockroach.
Bucky printed and cut out the silhouette of a huge cockroach and taped it to the inside of Sam’s bedside lamp so that when he sticks his hand under the shade, he’ll see the fake roach and hopefully scream in terror; well that was more than successful. Now Sam wanted to beat the shit of him for ruining his morning.
Sam was soon out of sight and Bucky breathed out a breath of relief closing the door completely; locking it just in case Sam tries to come into your room looking for him. You and Bucky were very close, almost too close as Steve would say. He was found with you in your room a lot, whether it’d be playing video games, or eating lunch while watching TV, or listening to music that Bucky missed out on.
He was in your room a lot so he knew you wouldn’t mind the unexpected visit. After you knew about his little prank; you would die of laughter if he told you about Sam’s reaction. Before Bucky turned around, he heard you.
“Buck,” you breathed out.
Bucky’s brows furrowed and when he turned around…
“Holy shit.”
ʜᴏᴜʀs ᴇᴀʀʟɪᴇʀ
“He’s gonna kill you,” you grinned at Bucky. He sat next to you with a pair of scissors in hand cutting out the black silhouette of that god awful roach.
“So worth it,” he smirked.
“You didn’t answer my question though, doll. Why are you up so early? Pretty girls like you need their beauty rest,” he nudged your arm with elbow, making you roll your eyes.
“I just couldn’t sleep. Was tossing and turning all night,” you told him.
“You know my bed is always available for cuddles that'll put you right to sleep,” he winked at you.
“You wish,” you retorted.
“Every night,” he said, making you feel shy.
Bucky smirked to himself knowing how his words affected you. It was no secret that was deeply infatuated with you; but you always declined his advances and he respected that always. But that didn’t mean he stopped his endless flirting; never failed to make you laugh.
“You’re so pretty,” he smiled at you.
“Shut up, Buck,” you shook your head, “I’m gonna head back to my room; try and get some shut eye for at least twenty minutes. Let me know how your little prank goes.”
“Will do.”
You shut your bedroom door and crawled languidly into your bed. You close your eyes and in doing so you’re met with those gorgeous cerulean blue eyes that haunted you every night. You immediately pop back up.
Goddammit, Bucky.
Fuck you and striking eyes. Fuck you and your perfect nose. Fuck you and kissable lips. And strong arms. And your hands, oh your hands… Stop!
Your body erupted into goosebumps and your stomach fluttered just at the thought of him. Fuck the things you’d let him do to you. Why haven't you, you ask? Well he asked you on a date and thinking it was some sort of bet with Sam, because men are assholes and it wouldn’t be the first that happened, you kindly declined.
The next day, Sam and Steve both said they didn’t know he was gonna ask you and had nothing to do with it. So you bolted to Bucky’s room only to find another woman curled to his side in his bed.
“Y/n,” Bucky’s eyes were wide with guilt.
“Hey, uh- I uh, I just wanted to ask um- what you wanted… for breakfast. I’m buying,” you breathed out a nervous chuckle.
“I’m ok-” As soon as you heard those words you bolted out of his room hearing him call your name. You weren’t particularly pissed off, or enraged but it kinda hurt.
Since then however, you don’t think you have seen Bucky even talk to another woman; even at one of Tony’s galas. And he always flirted and joked with you, even more this time than before. You weren’t going to lie, you both loved it and hated it. It gave you confidence while also ruining your panties with just a smile.
Speaking of ruined panties.
You tossed your sheets over and shimmied out of your pajama bottoms. You took your panties off too pulling one side back to shoot it into the laundry basket since those were going to be in desperate need of a wash.
You licked your fingers before pressing them against your burning pussy. You bit your lip stifling your moans as you circled your clit. You imagined Bucky’s hand instead of yours and you imagined him whispering dirty things in your ear.
Your other hand went under your shirt and kneaded your breast softly. You clenched your thighs together approaching your orgasm quickly when suddenly you were a loud scream echo in the building.
You instantly retracted your hand for a second remembering that Bucky had his little prank; Sam clearly found out now. But you soon put that aside and continued thinking about Bucky. He was so perfect; how could anyone look at him and not fall in love? He was so handsome and charming. And his physique. Holy hell, you would give anything to run your hands all over his muscled torso. Kiss up and down his chest and tell him how beautiful he was.
You wanted him pressed against you rutting his hips into you like there was no tomorrow. You wanted to feel his fingers touch you the way you're touching yourself right now thinking about him. You wanted to hear him groan and moan in your ear. You wanted all of him.
“Buck,” you finally moaned out.
“Y/n?”
“Oh god, Buck!” you shrieked grabbing your sheets to cover your modesty.
“Sorry, I uh- I’m sorry! I didn’t mean to barge in,” he stuttered covering his eyes.
“Why are you in here?” you asked him.
“Sam is chasing me and I sought refuge here,” he said.
“You can open your eyes; I’m decent now,” you mumbled.
Bucky slowly brought his hands down looking at you with a guilty expression. He walked up to your bed and sat hesitantly beside you. Your knees were tucked into you and your arms wrapped around them protectively. Heat crawled up your spine and you felt sweaty and embarrassed to be caught so vulnerably, especially by the man whose name you were moaning.
“I’m so sorry,” you said, avoiding his gaze.
“Don’t be, we all do it.”
“I know it’s- it’s still embarrassing,” you mumbled.
“Because?” you stayed silent not really wanting to say it out loud.
“Because you were thinking about me?” Bucky crawled closer to you pulling the sheet from your bare legs gracefully. Your breathing quicken rapidly, your chest heaving up and down.
“You know, I uh- I think about you too; all the time,” he whispered as he dragged his knuckles up your lower leg.
“You don’t have to imagine anymore. I’m right here. Just say the words and I’ll give everything,” he was so close; his fingertips ghosting the sides of your thighs.
“Bucky,” you breathed against his lips, “No, stop.”
Bucky instantly backed away, retracting his hands. He looked at you with confusion and you avoided his gaze once again.
“Buck, I know you just want to sleep with me-”
“Woah what! Did Sam tell you that? Fucking asshole, I’m gonna kill him,” Bucky got up but you pulled his hand back so he’d sit down again.
“No, you- ugh. When you asked me out, a long time ago, I thought you were doing a bet or something with Sam; so I said no to avoid any humiliation. I told Sam and he said he didn’t even know about it, that he had nothing to do with it. So I went to your room to tell you that I liked you back but you were… ‘busy’,” you explained.
Bucky casted his eyes and head down remembering that day vividly. He knew exactly what happened. He asked you out and when you said no he was crushed. He asked Thor if he had any mead with him; it was the only thing that could get him drunk. And he got on a bike and booked it to the closest nightclub.
Bucky finished Thor’s flask and he doesn’t even remember what happened that night. He woke up the next morning with someone in his bed and he freaked. He knew he fucked up and he regretted going out. Suddenly you barged through the door with a beautiful smile on your face but when you saw his unwanted guest, all the sparkle in your face died.
He didn’t see you the rest of the day and it killed him. The woman was nice and actually was very understanding so at least he had that going for him. From that day on Bucky didn’t even look at any other women, let alone give them an ounce of attention. His eyes were simply set on you in hopes one day you’d give him a second chance.
“I’m so sorry, Y/n. I didn’t mean for that to happen. I know I fucked up and if you want me to leave, I will.”
“I’m not mad, we’re not together and you have every right to do that. It just kinda hurt that you moved on so fast,” you chuckled a bit.
“I didn’t! I… I just fucked up. I still want you, not just your body; even though you’re so fucking sexy,” he reached out and squeezed your thigh making you grin, as hard as you tried not to.
“I still think about you all the time. You’re so funny, and beautiful, and sexy, did I mention how sexy you are?” he said, making you laugh.
“Maybe once or twice,” you giggled.
“I don’t want you thinking that I’m using you. I like you a lot. And I know you like me,” he raised his eyebrow making you sheepish.
“Sorry about that again,” you chuckled.
“Don’t be. I can show the real thing instead, all you have to do is say the word,” he brushed his nose against yours. It was so tempting. He was just so irresistible. So all hell went out the window and you caved.
“Please,” you whispered.
Bucky pressed his lips languidly against yours, as if he’d done so a thousand times before. His hand slipped up your inner thigh and you gasped softly into Bucky’s mouth. He pushed his tongue in, swirling it around your and your neck craned back as he kissed you deeper.
His knuckles brushed your wet folds and you shuddered under his touch. His lips trailed down to your jaw and neck as his fingers stroked your folds circled your entrance. You laid back staring up at Bucky who quickly got rid of his shirt before bringing his finger back down to your pussy.
He slowly inserted a finger past your slick folds carfeully watching your face and the pleasure that was overcasted. You bit your lip staring into his eyes and Bucky grew hard simply from that. He pumped his finger in and out of you feeling your thighs wanting to press together from bliss.
“Bucky, please I need more,” you whined.
“Of course, my baby,” he smiled before adding another finger into your entrance. You moaned through gritted teeth feeling already full with just his fingers, you couldn’t imagine his cock. Your shirt had slowly ridden up exposing your belly. Bucky leaned down and kissed your skin, his lips feeling cold in contrast to your hot skin.
Bucky breathed heavy at the sight of you. You were so beautiful and Bucky felt his heart swell. He’s been pining after you for so long and now you were finally here writhing under him in ecstasy.
“You look so perfect, baby,” he whispered.
“Fuck, Bucky, your fingers feel so good,” you brushed your hands through his hair.
“Yeah, you wanna cum? You cum all over my fingers?”
“Yes! Please let me cum,” you arched your chest to the air.
“Come on, my baby. Let go.” You gushed all over his hand, your body spasming as you orgasmed.
“So fucking pretty,” Bucky removed his fingers and brought them up to his mouth, sucking his fingers clean. You moaned at the sight of him licking his fingers and you pulled him into a kiss. You could taste yourself on his tongue.
Bucky stood up and discarded his pants quickly grabbing his cock. He walked to you and you replaced his hand with your slowly moving up and down his shaft. You circled your thumb over his swollen tip and you could feel his body tremble in your hand.
“Fucking tease, aren’t ya,” he grabbed your jaw and you smiled cheekily.
He pulled your shirt off your body and his hands instantly went to your breasts, squeezing and pinching making you moan. His erection stood tall against your thigh and you grew needy for him.
“Please, baby. Please, I need you,” you held his face.
“I gotcha, don’t worry. I’m gonna take real good care of my baby. I’m here,” Bucky whispered in your ear.
He slowly pushed into you, his cock stretching you out. You whimpered at the feelin, never having felt so full before. Bucky kissed the skin below your ear as he slowly bottomed out. He stayed that way for a moment and soon you started wiggling your hips desperately asking him to move but he wouldn’t.
“Stop moving, doll. I just wanna feel ya,” he kept his face buried in your neck.
“Bucky,” you breathed out.
“I know baby, you’re fucking tight. Squeezing me already too,” he chuckled.
You continued letting out whines and whimpers and Bucky’s heart nearly exploded. He propped himself on his elbows looking lovingly down at you and moved his hips back before pushing back in. Your eyes fluttered shut at the feeling. Bucky kissed you senselessly, moaning deeply into your mouth. His hips thrusted wildly in and out of you, making your toes curled.
“Fuck, baby girl. You’re taking me so well; such a pretty baby,” he praised.
You couldn’t form proper words; everything fell from your lips when you tried. Bucky is completely ruining you. Rutting into your hips, surely to leave bruises, he grazed your g spot perfectly pulling loud moans from you everytime.
“Ya feel that? Feel how deep I’m fucking this perfect little pussy?” Bucky grabbed your hand placing it on your lower stomach where you could feel his cock poking your hand with each thrust.
“Fuck, baby. You’re fucking me so fucking good, I’m gonna cum,” yoou whimpered.
“Say my name when you do baby. I want everyone in this goddamn building to know you’re mine,” his hips became sporadic.
“Oh fuck; James!” you chanted his real name, surprising Bucky. He wanted you to say ‘Buck’ like you always do but hearing his first name fall from your lips, he only ever wanted to hear you say it reminding him of this very moment forever.
“Fucking hell, baby,” he grunted before spilling inside you. He coated your velvety walls with his hot cum and that was enough to make you fall off the edge too. Your eyes rolled back and your nails dragged harshly down his back. You protruded your chest up to his and Bucky could feel your perked nipples on his skin.
He watched you with pure infatuation. Your face quickly relaxed to a tired and bliss expression. You breathed heavily out trying to settle your breathing. Bucky looked at your lips and captured them on his own one last time before running to your bathroom to clean you up.
“You are so beautiful, my baby,” he whispered.
“Fuck, that was so good,” you said fervorly, pulling his flush against your body by his neck.
“And it’s-” he was interrupted by your phone ringing beside you.
“It’s Steve,” you told him before looking at the time at the top left of your screen. You were twenty minutes late to your morning session with Steve. You gasped covering your mouth with your hand in shock.
“I’m late to my early sesh with Steve,” you laughed hysterically.
“Here, let me,” Bucky grabbed your phone sitting up to talk to Steve.
“Buck no,” you crawled behind him trying to grab your phone but not having the energy to chase his hand.
“Hey, Y/n’s busy.”
You heard a muffled voice, “Doing what, Buck?”
“Sucking my dick,” he said with absolute no hesitation.
“Buck!” you snatched the phone from his hand.
“Sorry, Steve. I got a bit… distracted. I promised I’ll make it up,” you told him.
“First of all, gross. Second of all, I’m happy for you two; you’re good together,” he said.
“Thanks, Stevie. I’ll see ya later.”
“Stevie?” Bucky asked, unamused.
“Oh shut up, Buck. You just embarrassed me telling him I was sucking your dick,” you nudged him.
“You don’t want to suck my dick?”
“Ugh Buck!” you buried your face in your hands.
“Of course I do,” you said, making Bucky tackle you down pressing kisses all over your face.
“Well, this was quite an eventful morning,” he joked.
“It sure was. What do you think happened with Sam?”
---
“And he put a roach in my lampshade,” Sam cried, actual tears. Nat was trying her absolute hardest to not laugh as was Wanda; gripping onto each other’s arms in hysteria.
“It’s ok, Sam,” Steve soothed him rubbing his back.
“God, where’s Y/n? We were supposed to start training twenty minutes ago,” Steve grumbled, staring at his watch.
“Call her,” Tony said.
Steve stepped aside and Sam continued to cry telling them how he chased him and he knew he ran into your room but it was locked. Nat and Wanda looked at each other grinning like idiots hoping what they think happened happened. Steve came back with a soft proud smile on face.
“What happened with Y/n?” Tony asked.
“She uh, she had to cancel, but it’s cool,” he looked at the girls who smiled knowingly.
“She’s with Bucky isn’t she,” Sam grunted.
“Yeah, yeah she is,” Steve said, making Sam cry again because he’s not gonna be able to beat the shit of Bucky anymore.

tension in a touch
Octoberfest 5: Hover
People were afraid of Geralt.
As Geralt’s half-official barker, Jaskier was deeply aware of this. His main obstacle in improving Geralt’s reputation was not hate, despite what Geralt thought. The witcher didn’t discuss it much, but when people shied away from him, when their heart rates skyrocketed, when they cast him sideways glances, Geralt assumed it was because they despised what he was. A mutant, a freak of nature, a monster. And he was right, in many ways, but Jaskier thought Geralt sometimes didn’t quite understand why human beings hated things. Almost always it was because of fear, and Geralt made people nervous. Jaskier was there to comfort them, and then to rally them. It was a process.
Unfortunately, as they began traveling together Jaskier realized that he was afraid of the witcher too. It wasn’t something he was proud of, and he hoped Geralt never picked up on it. Jaskier was drawn to the man anyways, of course. He’d been able to smell the adventure on him from across the tavern in Posada, literally. Dirt from the road, old blood rust and an air of tragedy clung to the man like a thick cloak. It had been a moment of clear and crystalized genius, when his eyes settled on Geralt. Jaskier had known that he would follow the witcher across the Continent even before he’d heard the man speak.
But all his enthusiasm didn’t mean that Geralt stopped being intimidating as shit. Jaskier, fresh faced and still not used to the rough and tumble way of the world, was a little scared of him. Geralt was careful, always projecting his movements and making himself obvious, but something in Jaskier’s hindbrain still raised its hackles and screamed at him to run anytime Geralt was near. It was pure instinct, an animal recognition of a predator nearby.
But it just wouldn’t do. If he was going to convince the world that Geralt deserved to be praised for his deeds, great as they were, he couldn’t be afraid of his own muse. So Jaskier decided that he would just do the exact opposite of whatever his instincts told him to do, until they learned to behave.
He forced himself to be close to the witcher, all the time. At night when they settled down to sleep, Jaskier desperately wanted to put his bedroll on the other side of the fire. Instead, he plopped right down next to Geralt, receiving a brief glare that made him sweat. When they ate at taverns, Jaskier sat in Geralt’s space, instead of allowing the table to act as a barrier between them. After hunts, he made himself help wash off the worst of the muck and blood and ichor, at least so that people wouldn’t truly bolt at the first sight of Geralt down the street.
Over time, he found that his palms sweat less, his fingers were steadier, and his heart stayed calm in his chest even when he was pressed shoulder to shoulder with the witcher. Geralt was often snappy, peevish and foul tempered, but he never hurt Jaskier after the first punch to the gut. And that was really on Jaskier for bringing up Blaviken. Generally speaking, Geralt was perhaps even overly cautious. He never returned Jaskier’s friendly gestures, carefully keeping distance between them as if he expected Jaskier to startle at every brush of their fingers. And he had, in the beginning. But slowly he felt himself grow less jumpy, a part of him learning to recognize that Geralt wasn’t going to harm him.
It was fine, the neutral ground Jaskier had been searching for. Things might have stayed that way, if not for the cockatrice hunt.
Jaskier had insisted on going along, as they were exceptionally rare creatures. He might never get the chance to watch Geralt fight another, he reasoned, and had worn Geralt down though a slow process of argumentation supplemented by a few strategically placed ales. Geralt had reluctantly agreed, warning Jaskier that he had to stay well away from the fight.
They had both underestimated the beast. Jaskier got too close, he could admit; Geralt wasn’t paying him any mind, focused on dodging the creature’s massive tail and razor honed beak. It was a fascinating fight. The cockatrice was like a strange mix between a rooster and a lizard, its beady eyes watching Geralt intently as it used the ends of its hooked wings to claw into the ground. The fight was fast, almost too fast for Jaskier to follow. Geralt was like water, here one moment and gone the next, baiting the creature into reckless attacks and popping up somewhere else to hack at its flank. Occasionally the cockatrice would attempt to take off, and a concussive burst of aard would echo across the small field that they fought in, knocking it back towards the ground.
Everything would have been fine, truly, if Jaskier hadn’t seen Geralt get knocked over by the cocktrice’s tail. He shouted in alarm from his place on the hill, far enough away not to draw attention to himself, if he’d kept his silence. The cockatrice, circling Geralt, looked up sharply at the sound, interested in a potentially less threatening meal. Milky eyes focused on him, and Jaskier felt panic pulse through his chest, so strong he wondered how he ever could have called his nervousness around Geralt fear at all. As the cockatrice turned to advance on him, he knew this was what real fear was.
In that moment, Jaskier didn’t think. He didn’t do the smart thing, which would probably have been to run back towards the village and try to take shelter amongst the smattering of houses there. He didn’t do the cowardly thing, ducking down to try and hide where he was. Instead, he did the incredibly stupid thing, and ran towards Geralt. The cockatrice, being directly in his path, was probably thrilled.
Jaskier ran faster than he ever had in his life. The cockatrice was barrelling towards him, and Jaskier took off at an angle, rushing down the small incline towards Geralt, who was already up from where he’d been knocked prone. Jaskier could see the moment that the situation caught up with him, Geralt’s eyes going wide and panicked as he realized the danger. Jaskier didn’t think he’d ever seen Geralt move above a light jog before. The man usually let monsters come to him, rather than the other way around, but he was running now. He was amazingly fast, and Jaskier wondered who was faster. Geralt, or the monster.
The cockatrice had flown up, gaining some distance. Probably to dive down and catch him with some momentum. It gave Jaskier a precious extra moment, but he could sense the bird-like creature getting ready to move. Geralt was only feet away now, sword held in reverse as he sprinted towards him, and Jaskier’s lungs were burning with exertion and fear. The cockatrice let out a shriek above them, and Jaskier heard a rush of air past its wings as it dove towards them.
Jaskier ducked.
Geralt slammed into him almost at the same instant that the cockatrice did, throwing Jaskier bodily to the ground as a shimmering golden field sprung up around them both. The cockatrice slammed into it full force, its huge body impacting with a horrible cracking sound and spinning off to the side. Geralt winced at the force of it, the quen shield shattering apart harmlessly. He was curled protectively around Jaskier’s fallen form, one hand - the one that had been holding his sword, now abandoned - clutching the back of Jaskier’s head. Protecting him from hitting the ground when he fell.
For one brief moment the two of them were still, Jaskier fighting to get his bearings as Geralt hovered above him. Their faces were inches apart, Geralt’s panting breath ghosting over Jaskier’s cheek. His palm was warm against the back of his neck, and his strong thighs bracketed Jaskier’s hips in a grounding press of limbs. Though the danger had not yet passed, Jaskier felt a sense of pure, undiluted relief wash over him. Geralt was here, and nothing could hurt him.
It lasted only a second before Geralt was back on his feet, stalking over to the fallen cockatrice. The creature’s wing had been greviously injured in the fall, and it was no hardship for Geralt to dispatch it once he retrieved his sword. Jaskier sat up slowly, wincing at his newfound bruises. Better than a cockatrice talon in the back of his skull, he thought, but he’d still be sore in the morning.
Geralt stomped back over to him as soon as he’d finished the job. “I told you to stay back,” he growled. His face was stormy, but Jaskier had seen his expression just before the cocktrice dove. It had been just as panicked as Jaskier had felt, a naked fear and determination that Jaskier had never seen on Geralt’s face in battle before. He’d been worried. He was worried still. “I never should have let you come,” he grumbled, kneeling. Warm hands pressed over Jaskier’s shoulders, his chest, working their way through his hair to check for injuries. Where once it might have made Jaskier nervous, now he only felt warmth blossom under his breastbone.
Placing a hand over Geralt’s where it rest just under his collarbone, he said, “I’m alright, Geralt. I’m not hurt.”
Geralt glared at him. “Not for lack of trying, bard. What possessed you to shout at it like that?”
Jaskier blushed. He was winded from the sprint, heart still pounding away in his chest at how close he’d come to serious harm, so hopefully Geralt would attribute the flush to exertion. “I, ah. Saw you fall. I was afraid you’d been hurt.”
A strong eye roll was directed his way. Whoever said witchers couldn’t feel apparently didn’t recognize annoyance as an emotion, because Geralt was clearly experiencing it. “I would have been fine, Jaskier. You could have died.” His hand was still on Jaskier’s chest, over his slowing heart. Jaskier was supremely comforted by the touch, in a way that perhaps should have been concerning.
He gave Geralt a look he hoped was sufficiently chagrined. “It does seem I owe you my life, witcher. I hope to be able to repay you.”
Geralt raised an eyebrow. “Just don’t go shouting at any more cockatrices in the near future.”
“Wouldn’t dream of it,” Jaskier said, and then added, “but I know you’d be there to rescue me if I did.” He gave Geralt a grin, to take a bit of the edge off of the statement. It was too much, he knew, too much trust to put in the witcher’s hands.
He was rewarded with an embarrassed huff of breath, and was allowed to watch as Geralt’s ears turned just faintly red. It was amusing, but Jaskier knew deep down that it wasn’t a joke. From then on, Geralt would always mean safety to him.

“Bedside” prompt with stiles pretty please?
send me a PROMPT for a 'yearn for you' blurb -
[ BEDSIDE ] : receiver waits by sender’s bedside as they recover from an illness or an injury.
It had been two days since the accident; two days since Stiles saw you smile, two days since he saw you laugh, and two days since the jeep was ridden off the road and flung into a tree. He was full of anger and despair as he sat by your bedside, the beeping of the hospital's machines melding into white noise as he stared at your stilled body. Stiles Stilinski was stubborn as hell, which is why he refused to move from the chair in the corner of your room. Your parents offered to drive him home on multiple occasions but he couldn't leave your side - not when he blamed himself for what happened to you.
Stiles couldn't have stopped the freak accident; a rogue deer bolting out onto the road in the pitch black of the night. He's lucky he saw it at all, the damage potentially worse if he hit it head-on at the accelerated speeds of the highway. He braked as he swerved out of the way, condensation settling over every surface from the chill of the winter's night causing a slickness to the road, therefore prompting a spin of his jeep and the unideal ending of your passenger-side door colliding with a tree trunk. He would occasionally shiver from the memory when his eyes would droop into sleepiness.
You had woken only a handful of times over the past fifty-three hours, the agony still unbearable before the copious amounts of pain medicine would lull you back to unconsciousness. From time to time, Melissa would drag in a chair from the waiting room down the hall and sit with Stiles - reassuring him that you would be okay, explaining how your body is healing itself with the aid of the medicine - providing a familiar face to join him within the semi-comfortable silence.
It took Melissa by surprise when he cleared his throat, preparing to speak after so long remaining quiet and in thought. His voice was hoarse and he was on the edge of dehydration, but that was the least of his worries, instead, whispering to Melissa, "What if she hates me when she wakes up? What is she's angry? I can't lose her." His eyes scanned over your battered and bruised arms; the purple tone similar to the one that adorned your forehead, the place where your head was knocked harshly against the side of the jeep. Your right leg was in a cast, and he could only imagine what horrors graced your delicate skin underneath your hospital gown. Stiles shuddered.
Melissa, on the other hand, offered him a sympathetic smile, her eyes sad as she reached out to him and grasped his arm, "If I know Y/N as well as I think I do, then there's no way she could ever hate you, Stiles. She's strong, a fighter, like you. You'll both get through this, I promise." The boy nodded in agreement as he yearned to keep her optimistic approach. He loved you, and he knew that you loved him too.
It was sudden when Stiles heard movement, his eyes focusing on the clenching of your fingers. He knew you were waking up again, already familiar with the small details that would alert him to your soon conscious state. Slowly, your eyes fluttered, lashes brushing against your cheek before they rose. Stiles grinned widely, hoping that this time the pain would have subsided enough for him to finally see your beautiful smile.

heres another fail date, emphasis on FAIL. he took me horse riding. i have a healthy respect towards horses as they are sentient beings, sherlock holmes said it best with 'Why would I want anything with a mind of its own bobbing about between my legs?' anyway i'll spare you the set up and hit you with the punch line. the horse galloped straight for the fence, suddenly stopped short, threw me off directly into said fence, and my helmet got stuck in the wire. the worst part? fence was electrified.
Firstly, I am soooo sorry for how long this took me. Life happened and apparently my studies think they are important? Ridiculous really haha. Anyway! Thank you for gifting me another fail date prompt. Had lots of fun with this one. Hope you like it too <3
Setting the scene: established sterek, alive hale family, hales have a farm in their extended family somewhere and Derek spends most holiday breaks there while growing up...enjoy!
---
"Remind me again how you convinced me to do this?"
Derek snorted as he continued bridling the horses, "I believe it was around the time I was making breakfast."
"Naked, Derek. You were making me breakfast naked. How am I to be held liable for what I agree to when I've got your glorious ass bending over to find cinnamon for my waffles?"
This time Derek really did laugh. He finished up with the horses and made his way over to Stiles, placing a kiss on his lips.
"It will be fun. And besides, it's the best way to show you everything. Wasn't it you who wanted to see where I grew up?"
"Fine." Stiles huffed. "But only because imagining baby Derek herding cattle is adorable."
Derek smirked, "Imagine what current me looks like."
Images of a shirtless Derek swinging around a rope while on horseback flickered across Stiles' mind. He made a bee-line for the smaller horse without further comment.
~~
While Stiles didn't love the idea of horseriding, the scenery was making up for it. Both the acres that the Hales had owned and worked for several generations as well as seeing his boyfriend so at peace. Derek was a natural, even with being away from the farm for months. Stiles on the other hand was a city-boy through and through so while he might respect horses, riding one was another story.
He held the reins tightly in his grip and tried to pretend he wasn't freaked out.
"Hey, deep breaths. Horses can smell fear." Derek teased. "I thought you said you liked all animals?"
"I have an appropriate level of respect for horses. But why would I want anything with a mind of its own bobbing about between my legs?"
Derek rolled his eyes, "Come on, Holmes, we're almost back at the house. Dad promised to keep mum as far away from the kitchen as possible so I'm actually looking forward to dinner."
As they neared the homestead, Stiles saw some mini silhouettes crowding onto the front patio. He couldn't make out faces but could already guess who the spectators were.
"Introducing you to the twins was a terrible idea." Derek mused. "I'm starting to think they might like you more than me."
Stiles grinned. Of course he would hit it off with the twins. They were the offspring of Laura, who was practically his partner in crime when teasing Derek.
"That's because they like that I can do this!" Stiles let go on the reins and twirled his fingers in the air.
"Stiles, don't-"
It was too late for Derek's warning. The moment his spark shot out in bursts of mini fireworks from his fingers, the horse bolted.
Stiles yelped and clung on for dear life. He squeezed his eyes shut and prayed this wouldn't kill him.
"Pull on the reins, Stiles!" He heard Derek yell somewhere off in the distance.
Right. Stiles wasn't a damsel in distress. He was a human who ran with wolves. He could stop a runaway horse, right?
Without acknowledging his surroundings, Stiles pulled the reins with all his might. In her mercy, the mare did stop. Except the abrupt halt forced Stiles forwards and over the horse. For a moment, he experienced what it was like to fly...and then fall.
Stiles' helmeted head wedged into the wired fence that the horse had suddenly stopped in front of.
Stiles remembered muttering, "Well least things can't get worse." Just before a bolt of electricity shot up his spine.
~~
When Stiles came to, it was to a ceiling of eyes. Derek's he recognised instantly, before his brain registered the others belonged to the twins. He was lying on the soft grass, thankfully away from the evil fence line.
"That was awesome! Do it again, Stiles!" Nate cheered.
"Yeah, do it again!" Ruby joined in.
"Give it a rest you two troublemakers. Stiles just got himself electrocuted." Derek huffed, shooing them away towards the house before returning his focus to Stiles. "You ok, baby?"
Derek had removed Stiles' helmet and out of the corner of his eye, Stiles saw the blank ink lines tracing up the wolf's arm. So that's why he wasn't in agony. Yay for supernatural boyfriends and their ability to take away pain!
"Told you horseriding was a bad idea." Stiles smiled at his boyfriend's frown, "I'm fine, sourwolf. Just got a bruised pride and possibly tailbone."
Derek kissed his forehead and rubbed his stubbled against Stiles' cheek in a scent-mark.
"Next time no Spark Shows while on a horse, alright?" He said, helping Stiles slowing to his feet.
"There won't be a next time on a horse. Sherlock was on to something." Stiles dusted the grass off his shirt and jeans.
"You sure there's nothing you want bobbing between your legs?" Derek whispered against his earlobe.
A ripple of arousal slithered down Stiles' spine.
"Maybe just one exception."
"Aunty M said if you two don't come inside now, she's gonna eat all your roast beef!" Nate yelled from the patio.
"Ok, pocket that thought for later because there is no way I'm letting Malia eat my hard earned dinner." Stiles grinned, "You'll have to carry me babe to make it in time."
Derek rolled his eyes but understood the seriousness of the situation. His cousin never bluffed about food. He scooped Stiles up and they took off towards the house
---
Ta da! Ok so I picked Ruby as a nod of recognition to my favourite headcanon / casting of Laura (Ruby in Once Upon a Time). I know Malia is a cousin but I'm going with the theory that all the next generation call her Aunty M because...why not haha. I have never been electrocuted so please forgive any inaccuracy on that. Hope you weren't too badly injured in the real situation, concussed dragon! As always, thanks for popping in!! <3

None Other Than You (Tadashi Hamada x reader)
Alright hoes I wrote another part. The first one flopped and honestly I don't expect much after this either... too bad I give no crap
Series Summary: When tragedy strikes, and nothing can be done to stop it from happening, you often feel powerless entirely, however when it comes to picking up the pieces, you're able to have a say in the way things go.
Chapter Warnings: mentions of abuse and self harm, painful flashbacks, death, grief, angst... this one's rough
Word Count: idk but not as many
• Part 2/?
My eyes were so heavy, I did not dare open them. They weren't just heavy, but felt thick and swollen with slight pain. I must have been asleep for days. The way I slowly began to remember things went as follows: I remember the showcase, my presentation, and I remember Hiro' s Micro bots. I remember Alistair Krei and his offer to Hiro. I remember celebrating Hiro's acceptance into the school. I remember Tadashi in the soft moonlight. I remember sirens and alarms. I remember fire. I remember Tadashi running inside the building. I remember trying to do the same, and finally I remember the explosion.
Without a care of how much pain I was in, my eyes bolted open and I leaned up from where I was laying. I looked around, not quite familiar with my surroundings. The color of the room was stark white, and everything inside was either the same color, or a similar variation of it. When I saw no one in the room I looked around. Maybe I could go get someone and ask them what has happened.
I began to get out of the bed, but I couldn't move my left leg. It was completely an totally useless. When I saw the thick white cast stretching from my foot to my knee, I was able to see what the trouble was. Given that I was alone in a room with no explanation of anything, and I wasn't able to get up to find out why, I found myself in a state of panic. I quickly began to breathe faster, as it seemed I wasn't able to take in the oxygen I so clearly needed.
I pulled my legs closer to my chest and wrapped my arms around myself to try and calm down, but it wouldn't work. With each speedy breath I could hear the monitor beside me begin to freak out. The loud beeping was making it worse, my head was pounding, and I covered my ears and sqeezed my eyes shut, trying to picture some better, anything better than this.
The sting of the blade in the shower was nothing compared to the emotion pain. The words, so harsh I wished myself to disappear completely from the world, and the beatings, sometimes for no reason at all. What a parent does to their child effects the way they function for the rest of their days.
A memory crossed my mind, and my eyes began to water as I tried to push it all out. I wanted nothing more than to be in a safe place that I knew.
Thin red lines appeared, and small red droplets were slowly washed down the drain. Tears went with them. My arms would heal, but I doubted my heart ever would. I didn't ask for any of this, neither did I believe I deserved it.
My hands were still covering my ears, and my eyes had completely spilled over with the floodgates of tears. My head was spinning and that terrible beeping noise was still present, despite my attempts to avoid it.
"Y/n.." a muffled voice called out. I didn't know who it belonged to, but I tried my best to calm down enough to see.
"Y/n, you're okay..." I felt a hand on my shoulder, and though it was not a familiar one, I was able to slow down my breathing just at the thought of knowing I was no longer alone in an unfamiliar setting.
I opened my eyes and brought my hands away from my ears, trying my best to relinquish the quick paced breathing I had taken on.
"That's it, keep breathing." The woman beside me, who I had now realized was a nurse, was stroking up and down my back to help me.
"Thank you..." I murmured once I was able to catch my breath.
"It's okay. I'm Renata, your nurse, so if you have any questions-"
"Is there a Tadashi Hamada in the hospital by any chance?" I rushed out, not even giving her the opportunity to give me the last words in her sentence.
"I'm not sure, but if so... I don't think I'm allowed to give out that information. I'm sorry." The look on her face reflected sympathy. I could almost tell just by looking at her that she knew I was asking about a friend.
"Its okay..." I trailed off, beginning to get worried. I needed to know how long it would be till I could get out of here. "Do you think you could contact some people for me?"
"Sure, are they family members?"
"Just about the only ones I got."
(•-•)(•-•)(•-•)(•-•)(•-•)
It took about five minutes after the nurse left for the door to open again, and in came Hiro and aunt Cass, their faces were streaked with tears, but they tried to still hold it together for my sake.
"Y/n..." Hiro started crying not even a moment later, sitting down on the bed as we hugged each other tightly. With the way they approached me, I was beyond terrified to ask.
"Tadashi?" Was all I could muster at this point.
"He-" Hiro couldn't even get the words out for the sobs that racked his body. I teared up without even hearing the words, but I knew something went terribly wrong. "He's in a coma."
They spilled over, the tears I had pent up just waiting to hear what it was that happened to my Tadashi.
"Do they think he'll make it?" I managed to get out those words towards Cass, seeing that Hiro was far too unstable to answer.
All she did was squeeze her eyes shut and drop her head forward into her hands.
No...
I was loosing it. There was no way this was happening, because in a world so cruel and full of anguish, there was still light. The only light I ever had was Tadashi, and it wouldn't be fair to take him from me. Not after everything else. Maybe it was a selfish way to think, or maybe it was just my way of dealing with this awful piece of news.
We all sat there, entangled in each other's arms as we cried. It took us all so long to calm down, that I had noticed it was dark out the window beside my bed.
Soft sniffles could be heard even from outside the room, but no one dared to bother us, which we were grateful for.
"Is he here?" I asked as soon as I thought it had been calm enough in the room.
"Yes... but, we're not allowed to see him. He's in intensive care, only the doctors can go in." Cass informed me, her voice still shaky from her uneven breathing.
"Does anyone know what happened last night?" I wasn't sure if this would be a sensitive question, but I also didn't consider how accurate the words in it would be.
"Last night? Y/n the showcase was four days ago..." Hiro furrowed his eyebrows, his hand resting on my shoulder as I took it in.
"I've been asleep that long?" I mirrored the boy's facial expression, squinting my eyes as I began to understand the severity of my own situation. "What happened to me?"
"Well they said you have a concussion.... and your leg is broken, but other than that I don't think much else is wrong." Cass was now able to speak evenly as she had taken a few more seconds to recoup herself.
I sighed in relief, knowing my injuries weren't as horrible as I thought they might be. I dropped my face again as soon as I realized what Tadashi must be going through. My sweet, wonderful, amazing Tadashi.
Why do bad things happen to good people? Good people who have done nothing but help others and try to give everything they have. Those are always the ones that suffer in the end.
"Did everyone make it out of the fire?"
Hiro and Cass looked at each other before coming closer to me. Again, Hiro placed a hand on my shoulder, and he looked at me as if this next piece of information was the most personal.
"Professor Callahan didn't make it out... They never found his body, but the fire..." he trailed off, seeing the look of distress on my face, knowing he probably shouldn't finish his sentence.
Robert Callahan was the person who changed my life around. He was the one who was able to pull me from the abusive household that I had been raised in. He spotted the potential in me that I didn't even see in myself. He helped me to become what I was now. He made me realize how smart I was, and what I could do with my intelligence. When I was at my lowest point, and thought it may never get better, he had gotten me a place to stay, and a full ride scholarship into the San Fransokyo Institution of Technology. It was my life's turn around, and it was the way I came upon the best friend I ever had. The only true father figure I'd ever looked up to in my life was gone, and died a horrible death.
"Are you okay?" Cass came around the bed to sit on the other side, coming close enough to embrace me in her arms.
"I uh... I think I just need a minute to let it sink in."
"It's okay, take your time sweetheart." Cass didn't leave my side, and neither did Hiro. Although the time must be ridiculously late by now, and Cass worked tomorrow, they didn't move a muscle.
After a few minutes, the tears flowed, and I did nothing to restrict them from racing down the redness of my cheeks.
The two that comforted me did a well enough job, although the person who's arms I would have felt the most safe in while I cried my eyes out wasn't able to hold me. He wasn't even able to wake up.
If I lost him too, well, I don't even know what I would do then. I might revert back to the place of darkness I had been in before I met him.
(•-•)(•-•)(•-•)(•-•)(•-•)
Since school had let out for the summer, and I wasn't really keen on staying in a lonely apartment by myself, aunt Cass offered to let me stay with her and Hiro when I was released from the hospital.
It had only been a week since the accident, but I wasn't going to stay in that cold, stark white room another day longer. Even though they advised a bit more time under their supervision, I needed to be with people I was comfortable with. People who made me feel like I wasn't alone in all this.
By the time I had gotten settled in, it was later in the evening. My state of being, with a broken leg, having to hobble around on crutches wasn't ideal, but I managed to somehow make it up two flights of stairs into the bedroom at the top.
Hiro and Cass were very kind and very helpful to me, making me feel at home there. Normally I felt as though the place was more of a home to me than my real one, but for some reason, it didn't feel the same now.
As I started getting ready for bed, I casually opened one of Tadashi's drawers, pulling out a shirt and holding it close. I breathed in the scent, suddenly having a feeling of him swarm around me. I immediately felt at home in the small upstairs room again.
The feeling of home didn't come from the place, but from him. He felt like home. He was my home.
"Y/n?" Hiro brought me out of my haze, and I flipped around, seeing him stand with a hunched over form as he looked at me sadly. "Could you grab me one too?"
My gaze softened and I nodded, reaching back in and drawing another shirt from the drawer and handing it to Hiro.
"How's your leg?" He asked, sitting down on the edge of Tadashi's bed. He didn't even bother to take off the shirt he was wearing, he just pulled the other one over his head on top of it.
"It's okay... I don't really feel anything." I admitted. I closed the drawer and sat down on the bed by Hiro. "I think I'm probably just hyped up on those pain meds."
"Maybe... here, I'll let you change." He got up from the bed and walked across the room to the separation point before drawing the shade.
"Thanks Hiro..."
As soon as I had gotten that shirt on, I instantly felt the warmth of the person it belonged to. It made me realize just how often I took his hugs for granted, because I would break my other leg just to be in his arms right now.
I hobbled over to the shade, careful not to bang my boot around on anything as it dragged behind me. I nearly slipped when trying to pull the thin wall-like structure to the side, but managed to maintain balance.
"Hey, would you mind if I came over and laid there for a while?" Hiro approached the corner of the room and glanced at the bed.
After losing both his loving parents when he was a little kid, the thought of loosing his big brother must be terrible for him, and I can't even imagine it... or can I?
"I never mind..." I nodded him over, sitting on the edge of the bed as he snuggled against one of the pillows by the headboard.
I laid back into the middle of the bed, grabbing my phone from falling off the edge. I opened it, seeing that I had about thirty notifications from snapchat alone.
I only opened two of them, realizing they were condolence messages. I appreciated the support, but I was going to need some time before I was able to respond to these people. Some of them I barely knew, but they had apparently heard about the incident as well.
I swiped to the main screen and tried to hit my home button, but accidentally made my snap memories pop up. I didn't close it right away, and scrolled down a bit, seeing a video that made me smile. I tapped on the thumbnail of it, letting it take full screen.
"Try that filter..." Tadashi poked at the screen, and after his finger backed away, there were sparkles around me and a cute pair of panda ears along with a matching nose that were super imposed onto my face.
"Awe, this one makes me look cute." I trailed off, turning my head in different directions to see the filter better.
"You always look cute." Tadashi mumbled in the background. Before the video cut off, the vibrant blush on my cheeks could be seen. Thst wasn't apart of the filter.
The memory made me smile, and I saved it to my camera roll. The next ten videos or so were all from the same night, and I remembered it vividly.
Tadashi laid next to me on his bed, making me laugh tirelessly as I tried to make a cute video for my story. Every time he would do something to make me giggle and then I would try and re film it. After a while I gave up, just letting him pick different filters for me to try.
"He's in love with you, y'know..." Hiro piped up from the head of the bed, making me look up at him in disbelief.
"What?"
"Yeah... he would probably hate that I'm the one telling you and not him, but under the circumstances I think he would just want you to know."
"Hiro, are you su-?" I began to voice my disbelief but before I could, I was cut off.
"He used to tell me all the time. Minutes after you would leave. Man, getting him to shut up... took a miracle." He dragged on. He seemed to be not so entertained by the same fact that I was, but rather he was just remembering moments with his brother, who could leave this world at any minute.
"Tadashi... Loves me?" I couldn't bear the to say the past tense of the word, so I didn't. He wasn't dead, and now that I knew how he felt, I would keep up every hope for his recovery.
"If you don't believe me you can see for yourself. His love journal is right there..." he pointed a lazy finger to the desk across from the bed.
"His what?"
"Sorry, that's just what I call it. It's where he writes about you." Hiro answered, burrowing his face into the pillows once more.
I nearly reached for it on the desk, but pulled my hand back. He's still alive, and if he wants me to read it, eventually I will.
"I can't read it."
"Why not, it's about you?"
I shrugged my shoulders, pulling my legs onto the bed.
"He didn't give me permission to..."
Hiro sighed dramatically before sitting up. He rolled his eyes and left the bed, heading for his own across the room.
"You love him back, don't you?" He turned and looked over his shoulder, a slight smile gracing his lips.
"More than anything."

Every Rose Has Its Thorns | Overblot!Riddle x Reader
You charged through the rose maze, cursing how loud your footsteps were. You'd heard Heartslabyul students talk about how insanely hard it was to even get halfway through the maze, but you never thought it would be this bad. Why, out of everything you could have done, did you think it would be a good idea to run into here?
Everything had gone so wrong. All you'd wanted was to help Ace and Deuce get out of their punishment - and if solving that with a duel meant helping the other students, great! There's no way it could end up worse than what happened in the Dwarf Mines, right?
You envied your past self's innocence.
In a weird way, you blamed yourself. If you hadn't opened your mouth, Riddle wouldn't have retaliated, so Ace wouldn't have decked his dorm leader in the face, someone wouldn't have thrown that egg at Riddle, Riddle wouldn't have freaked out and started beheading everyone, and he wouldn't have turned into... that. With that... thing hovering behind him like some sort of cruel puppeteer, looking way too familiar to whatever had tried to hurt you and your friends in the Dwarf Mines. Had you always been this unlucky?
Crowley had barely been able to say a thing before Riddle had cast Off With Your Head on the headmaster, then on Trey, Cater, and whatever poor souls that hadn't yet escaped Heartslabyul, tying them up with rose bush roots. Once again, you'd been the only one without a collar - maybe it was because of your lack of magic, maybe it was because you were from another world, you didn't know. You didn't hang around to find out - once Grim's yells at you to hurry up and get out of there snapped you out of your horrified trance, you bolted. Unfortunately, Riddle had noticed your sudden departure and chased after you, screaming your name.
You'd ducked into the Rose Maze hoping to shake him off. You wished you hadn't - all that you'd accomplished was getting yourself lost. Riddle's voiced seemed to be getting closer and closer by the minute, too.
"(y/n)!" Speak of the devil. The sudden shock of his voice nearly made you trip. "Come out this instant! Do you want your punishment to be even more severe!?"
Shaking off his words (or were you literally shaking?), you turned the corner. There seemed to be more and more roses as you went on - maybe a sign you were nearing the exit? Hoping so, you followed the blood-red flowers.
"(y/n)! I'm saying this for your own benefit! Tell me where you are, now! (y/n)!"
The leaves seemed to be disappearing under the red petals. A war between the two pieces of nature, two things that should be living in harmony instead being tainted by greed and ruining their peace. You had to be nearly out.
"(y/n)!!"
There were barely any leaves left now.
One last turn. One last turn and you should be--
Stuck. The roses didn't lead to the end of the maze at all. They led to the center of it.
A statue of the Queen of Hearts, like the one in the school among the other Great Seven, seemed to mock you with her smug expression. Now that you got a good look at her, she looked eerily similar to the specter haunting Riddle. Of course she did.
"So this is where you've been."
You turned so fast you fell over. Your mind couldn't even register the pain from your new cuts as you stared up in terror at the twisted form of Riddle. The boy himself seemed to be conflicted on whether to look at you with sympathy or smirk.
He settled on disappointment. "If you'd have just answered me earlier, you wouldn't be in such a sad state now, would you? Good grief."
Though he approached you at a normal pace, even that was enough to send a shiver down your spine. Desperately you tried to push yourself off the ground. Only it didn't work - you looked down to see yourself literally rooted to the floor. Following the root's path, you saw they were coming from the two rose bushes levitating by Riddle's side. No surprise there.
Out of options, you looked up at this new version of Riddle looming over you. Trying not to let your fear show, you glared at him. The look only caused Riddle's eyebrow to twitch before his emotions exploded forth.
"Don't look at your Queen that way! Change your expression immediately!"
"W-Why should I?"
"You...!" Blood rushed to Riddle's face. "Ever since I met you, everything you've done...! Causing a disturbance at the entrance ceremony, encouraging Ace and Deuce's idiotic behaviour, even managing to turn Cater and Trey against me...! I should despise every single part of you! So why...!?"
Before you could ask what he meant, the rose roots shot their way up your back, repositioning themselves so they pushed you upwards. You had no time to react - not that you could do much, your hands were still restricted, now bound together - as Riddle tangled his fingers in your hair and forced his lips on yours.
It took you a second to process what he was doing. Once you realised, you begun trying to wriggle your way out of his grip. Unfortunately, this only annoyed Riddle further - he tugged at your hair, causing you to yelp. Riddle took the opportunity to deepen the kiss. Any cries of protest went ignored.
You weren't sure how long the kiss lasted, but when Riddle finally pulled away you wasted no time gasping for air. There was a metallic taste invading your mouth. Your first thought was that it was blood but you couldn't raise your hand to check.
Riddle kept your foreheads touching, his hand still in your hair to keep you from moving away. You thought you were the only one that was dealing with a lack of air, but it seemed that Riddle's power up couldn't keep him from panting.
"Why...?" Riddle looked you in the eyes. The dark intensity scared you. It was a mix of anger, regret, confusion... and something else that somehow scared you even more.
"Why did I have to fall for someone like you...?"
Love.
Somehow the ferocity of the first kiss hadn't made it click for you. Now, however, the rush of fear gave you the strength to fling your head back and crash it onto Riddle's.
Only your foreheads were connected but it was enough. Riddle yelled in pain and let go of you. You fell on to the floor but were quick to get up as the pain was distracting Riddle from his control spell.
"(y/n)...! HOW DARE YOU!?"
You make it to the other side of the Queen of Hearts statue before roots burst out of the ground and latch on to your ankles. Caught mid-run, the sudden stop causes your to fall face-forward onto the floor. More roots appear to take advantage of the opportunity, latching themselves around you, binding you to the ground.
You couldn't turn your head, but you could feel Riddle approaching, glaring at your back. You weren't sure what was worse; the foreboding sense of darkness from Riddle's stares or the crushing feeling from the roots.
By the time Riddle was standing in front of you, black dots were decorating your vision. Tears were dripping out your eyes as you were unable to stop them. The unknown anxiety from what Riddle would do made breathing even harder. Riddle gritted his teeth, still nursing his head.
"Why do you insist on being so disobedient!?" Riddle growled. "Is it just because it's me!? You have no problem listening to those first-year ruler breakers! Is it them? Did they influence you? It has to be! It's their fault!"
"No...!" You croaked out.
Every word Riddle spoke caused the roots to become tighter. The tears fell even harder as you gasped for air like a fish out of water.
"No? Look at yourself!" Riddle scoffed. "This wouldn't have happened if you'd just followed my rules! I should have approached you from the start... I should've seen what leaving you alone would do. Damn it!"
"Pl...ease...!" You could barely make out Riddle's words. A dull ringing was going off in your ears, making it hard for you to focus.
"You had so much potential, right from the beginning, even if the mirror said you were magic-less, I saw it!" Riddle continued to scold himself, unaware of your desperation. "I should've told Crowley to place you in Heartslabyul, where I could've kept you on the right track... instead you had to become a rule-breaker! Why!?"
"I'm... sorry...!" You cried out.
The words caught Riddle's ears. He finally turned to you, realising what he'd caused. Gears turned in his head before he finally spoke.
"You're sorry, what?" He tried.
"I... I'm sorry, my Queen...! Riddle...!"
Instantly, the pressure was released. The sudden rush of oxygen to your lungs made you choke. Even though the roots were off you, you stayed laying on the ground, not wanting to push Riddle into doing that again.
"(y/n)." You looked up. "Come here."
Riddle stiffly opened his arms, as if embarrassed by the act. You hesitated, unsure if it was a trap. Riddle frowned.
"(y/n). Come here, now."
Out of options, you slowly pushed yourself off the floor. You still hadn't completely recovered, so you more stumbled than walked into Riddle's arms. It didn't seem to matter - the second you hit his chest, his arms wrapped around you, holding you tight against him. The similarity to what had happened not long ago earlier caused you to tremble. Riddle didn't seem to notice.
"Thank goodness." Riddle sighed in relief, burying his face into the crook of your neck. "You're not too far gone... you just need to properly learn the rules... that's a relief..."
The smile you felt caused your skin to crawl. Riddle began tracing kisses up your neck, across your jawline then connecting your lips again.
The kiss was softer this time, a chaste one that would've made your heart race if the situation wasn't so, so wrong. Even so, the fear of angering whatever you were kissing made you lightly press back. The monster in Riddle's form pulled back slowly, a child-like smile on its face.
One hand came away from your waist and ghosted against your neck. It sighed before you felt a wisp of magic circling your neck. While you couldn't see it, you felt the new accessory adorning your neck - a black choker with a red heart outlined with gold at the front; with no clasp to take it off.
Riddle hummed in approval, happy at the sight. He wasn't as pleased when he saw the look in your eyes - a poorly concealed fear at what he'd done. He sighed, giving you a quick kiss before leaning you into his neck now instead. He raked his fingers through your hair in a soothing manner.
"I'm doing this for your benefit." He explained. "It's my fault for letting you hang around bad influences, but it's okay now. I'll make things right for you. You'll be following the rules perfectly in no time."
Riddle placed a kiss on your forehead and leaned next to your ear. He pressed a finger against the heart of your choker.
"You will, or it's off with your head."

In your Shooting Stars au will they fix Glamrock Foxy?
I'm not sure what happened to him in the original game but I'm like 75% sure he just got decommissioned because he was either too scary or the kids got bored of him.
Hello @sillyandquest! That’s a really good question-and one I have a definite answer to 😃 so some spoilers for my 4th installment (I’m brainstorming at the moment!) of the au Glamrock Foxy will get fixed. Despite the circumstances he’s still a long time friend of the main cast (Freddy, Bonnie and Chica) and it’d be an outrage not to properly fix and upgrade him! I head canon that at first kids weren’t afraid of him; he’s a pirate after all and a fun animal at that. Foxes are believed to be mischievous, cunning and playful by nature and that’s exactly how Foxy is. Even with the Glamrock glamour he was very popular with the kids and he was the wild and free type-kids would flock to his area and play pirates with him on his ship and search for buried/hidden treasures with the fox (I imagine he’d give out pirate themed prizes to the children for winning a game or they’d be treated to some fine booty upon finding one of his treasure chests he’d hide around his cove). I don’t think there was ever a dull moment with him to be honest-he’s always been a fan favorite because he’s spontaneous and always spices things up.
Though, the problem is that Foxy can be wreckless and had a higher rate of getting damaged and worn down because of the amount of playing, jumping, lunging and etc he’d do to entertain the kids. Kids would hang off of him a lot and as you know kids tend to be very rough and grabby so he of course had to be repaired more often than any of the other glams. That also caused kids to be scared when seeing him damaged because to them, he (like the other glams) are very much alive to the children and to see his endoskeleton or innards would freak them out. It’s like if a child saw a mangled (eh ehhh?) corpse, they’d be terrified. Another reason is because I also head canon the animatronics to act animalistic at times-much like the animals they represent. For instance, Chica bawks like a chicken and scrounges around in trash that she knocks onto the floor much like a chicken scratching the ground to dig up food. Roxy has excellent hearing and sight like a real wolf does and she lunges like a hungry predator. Monty hisses, growls and lashes out like an aggravated gator. Bonnie I imagine is always alert and listening, ears twitching and moving towards sounds that catch his ear-and can even hop around (very high I might add) like a rabbit-and despite himself tends to bolt whenever Roxy or Monty makes sudden movements or jumps out at him. Like a startled bunny would (something he’d get embarrassed about) though he never flees from Freddy. Freddy is in every way a cuddly teddy bear. He’s more restrained when showing more primal behavior (I imagine the company wanted to make them appear as life like as possible and thought that making them behave like the animals they represent would be more appealing to children. Kinda like being near exactly like humans but a few hairs off so to speak.) he is more concerned about scaring the children more than anything but he is very capable of lashing out and showing aggression whenever Gregory (or any other child) is in danger. He can growl and even roar (obviously not doing so not to scare the kids) and is a lot stronger than he lets on. He shows the upmost gentleness towards the kids and Gregory especially. He’s a teddy you don’t want to tick off.
That being said Foxy had tendencies to be a bit...destructive-not in the exact way as Monty where the gators destruction was out of anger and aggravation. Foxy (in my mind based on past games representation) is more hyper and tends to have a lot of pent up energy to burn than the others besides Bonnie who I believe is just as fast and can keep up with him (the two would burn off their charges by racing each other around the plaza and competing against one another for kicks). Real life Foxes in captivity do a lot of scratching, digging and tearing up or chewing things out of boredom and Foxy would be no different during after hours when all the children had left the building. If he isn’t having zoomies with Bonnie around the mall or keeping himself entertained he’d get bored pretty quickly and that’d lead to him being destructive because of it. Which of course would cause him to be scolded and punished quite often for wrecking up his cove or causing a ruckus with the service bots. That and he’d tend to chase Bonnie and Chica around a lot XD (him being a natural predator to the two) though he’d never harm them. They’d make a game out of it.
But because he’s so fast and has the instinct to give chase he sometimes did scare little kids that didn’t know his intentions. Again he’d never hurt a child and Freddy or Bonnie always intercepted to make sure nothing wrong would happen but Foxy was more favored to older children than the younger ones because of that. Once he’d get fixed though Gregory would spend a lot of time with him and the two would become thick as thieves. Throw Bonnie into the mix and there would be a lot of mischievous and devious pranks and hijinks.
I could say more but I’ll leave it at that for now, if you’d like to hear more throw me another ask Superstar!

A request dm'ed to me from @insomniacwreck !!! Thanks for the idea!
S/o is female in these btw
Warning: small mention of nsfw, but no actual acts
Midoriya Izuku
The Dekusquad was thrilled when they heard that a theater company was gonna start showing Hamilton. While not particularly attached to the origins of American politics, they heard it was a great musical and had to see it
It took a long time and a lot of money to get tickets for the whole squad, but they made it happen
However, when Midoriya offered to buy your ticket, you nervously laugh and decline
"But (y/n), dont you wanna come?"
"Of course! But i, uh...already got my ticket?"
He chose to ignore the way you ended your statement in a question
The day of the performance came, and holy crap they were so excited
Midoriya especially. He couldnt wait to see such a good musical with you
However, you never showed up
Poor izuku was so worried!!! Uraraka had to practically restrain him to his seat to keep him from searching for you
He finally relented as the lights dimmed on the condition that hed be calling you during intermission
However, he soon realized that that was unnecessary. Not long into the first act (which he found himself loving) you finally made an appearance
On stage
You sauntered onstage in a corsetted peachy dress trailed by two other women each wearing similar dresses in teal and yellow
"Angelica~"
Izuku's jaw hit the floor
How did he not know you were in the cast? Since when where you an actress? How did you look so damn good in that dress?!
The rest of the Dekusquad quietly expressed similar sentiments (except for Uraraka, youd told her about this weeks ago so she could help you surprise your boyfriend)
At the intermission, Deku flew out of his seat and into the lobby, hoping to find you. Not a moment later, an usher came up to him and said his presence was requested backstage. He practically vibrated with excitement the whole way there
When he saw you, he bolted over and scooped you into his arms, swinging you in an elated hug
He rapid-fire shot questions at you about your performance, your character, your rehearsals, anything. You answered what you could before it was time for him to return to his seat. You sent him off with a quick kiss and a promise to introduce him and everyone else to the rest of the cast at the end
Midoriya couldnt freaking wait
youtube
Bakugou Katsuki
Sero had recently decided the Bakusquad needed more exposure to culture, so when it was he heard that the musical The Heathers was going to start being performed in town, he was one of the first people in line to buy tickets for everyone
The Bakusquad's responses to the tickets varied greatly. Mina was jumping and squealing in excitement, Kirishima was more lowkey excited about it, Kaminari was only excited at the aspect of seeing girls in skirts, and Bakugou, as per usual, flat out refused to go. You plastered on a wide (almost forced) smile
When the day of the show came, the Bakusquad piled into their seats, but you were nowhere to be seen. In your seat was a thrilled Yaoyorozu, clutching her playbook to her chest and watching the stage with glittering eyes. When asked, she said you had kindly offered her your ticket
Bakugou scoffed and rolled his eyes. You forced him to go then ditched him? Rude
However, he soon retracted this sentiment when you sashayed on stage in a red blazer, plaid mini skirt, and argyle knee-high socks. Jesus christ you looked hot
And you were playing a mean girl? Katsuki loved seeing this side of you, even if it was just a character
He was enraptured, but it came to a head when he heard you bark out your next line
"Are we gonna have a problem? You got a bone to pick? You've come so far. Why now are you pulling on my dick?"
His jaw hit the goddamn floor when you started dancing, hips swaying and skirt flaring
He couldnt wait to make you show him those moves in a different setting
After the performance, he sauntered up to you by the stage door and slung an arm around your waist, muttering in your ear
Just when were you planning on telling me you had moves like that?"
