“Trick-or-treat!!”
“Gasp—Oh my goodness!”
“We came to celebrate Halloween! Also, Megumi forgot his toothbrush here again.”
Opening your door to children at the sunset of Halloween day isn’t out of the ordinary or anything special. However, it’s always a pleasant surprise when it’s two kids you hold dear to your heart. You greet them with a hug, two siblings you know too well to say you’re acquainted with. If anything, you’re practically family.
The raven-haired brother, referred to as Megumi, speaks up. “It’s not my fault! Dad was rushing me last time.”
“Because you had to bring your stuffed animals last time, holding us back for your baseball practice.” Tsumiki, the older sister, snapped back. The two argue amongst themselves in front of you as you try to mediate. It’s no avail until another voice comes to the fray.
“All right, chill out, you two.” The voice belonged to the person approaching the porch stairs, your eyesight capturing the familiar figure walking up with two duffle bags. The one standing tall before you was the father of the children, Toji Fushiguro. Who’s also known as your one and only former husband. “Get inside and finish y’r homework, or else we’re goin’ back home.”
The siblings stop bickering and head inside, taking off their shoes at the foyer and walking upstairs. Now that they’re gone, you turn to the man with the jet-black hair, his viridian orbs focused on you. The weather was chilly, so the man wore his usual dark denim jacket over his plain black sweatshirt, matching his jeans. “You look good, big guy. What’s in the bags?”
He greets you with a curled lip, and the scar on the side of his lip lifts. “Picked them up from their after-school sports, so it’s their sports gear and costumes for tonight. Mind helpin’ me here?”
“Hmmm,” you merge your facial expressions to that of faux pondering, turning your back to Toji. “Nah, can’t. Got dinner to finish making.”
“Hmph, should’ve known.” He makes his way through between you and the front door. “Wouldn’t wanna break your pretty nails carrying heavy shit, huh, princess?”
You glare at him using the nickname, hating his patronizing gaze. “From what I remembered, you would never let me carry the heavy stuff because you thought I was too fragile and easy to break. So how about that, Mr. Knight in Shining Armor?”
“Really? I don’t remember sayin’ all that before. You must’ve put me in a spell.”
“Probably, I’ve been told I’m quite cute~.”
“Mmm, nah, more like an old hag of a witch.” Toji barks a laugh at your offended reaction, and he immediately ducks and heads for the stairs when you throw a sandal at him.
“At the very least, say I’m a cute witch, fucker.” You say the final word under your breath, grabbing the sandal you threw and heading back to the kitchen.
To say you and Toji were acquainted with one another would be the biggest understatement of the century. The two of you met a decade ago, fell madly in love, and married within a year of the relationship. When you tied the knot, Tsumiki had to have been two years old, and Megumi just turned one year old. You two had been together for four years after that, and you could confidently say those were one of [if not THE] best years of your life. You often second-guessed yourself being in a relationship with someone who had children, fearing that they wouldn’t like you or ignore you.
However, those worries were blown right away as the days went by. Every time you spent time with the children brought you three closer than ever; it was to the point that they saw you as their mother. How sweet! And there’s no denying that Toji loved you. The man would break someone’s nose for you  — yes, it happened before, and it wasn’t pretty — for you were his sweet little thing that kept him going.
Well, if it was so great, why the divorce? Let’s just say you weren’t Toji’s first love. That title would have to be awarded to the Megumi’s mother. Even in her unfortunate passing, you can tell that Toji loved that woman like no other. It didn’t make you jealous or anything, seeing the man you love still mourn for a dead woman. Hell, you’d probably do the same if you were him. But, you can’t lie; it felt like you were cast over a “shadow” when it came to her influence. It was damn near suffocating to bear, especially in those four years of marriage. So, for your sake and his aching heart, you pulled him aside and suggested a divorce. And Toji didn’t fight you on the proposition, signing the papers and setting you free from the thick air.
Although things ended between you two, that didn’t mean things stopped being what they were. If anything, it was as if nothing happened at all. Even if you still don’t live under the same roof, you still make time to hang with the Fushiguros, whether invited to some occasion or exchange phone calls or texts to check up on them. Even now, five years after your separation, it warms your heart knowing that you get to interact with the people you care about.
There are moments you find yourself missing living under the same roof with all three of them and living alone can be pretty lonely. But all in all, as long as they’re comfortable and trust you enough to be around, there’s no need to change things up again. Like right now — the four of you sit at the dinner table eating before the kids go off trick-or-treating.
“Are you going to trick-or-treat with us, Y/n?” The brown-haired child sitting next to you asks while finishing up her dinner.
“Sorry, not this time, gotta be at a Zoom meeting for my job in a few minutes. But I do have someone else to take my place. Gojo will be here at around—Why are you two making that face?” You stop mid-sentence to notice Megumi and Toji at the other side of the table, displaying disgusted facial expressions at the mention of the white-haired other’s name.
“Why him?” They said in unison.
“Why not??” You question their irritation.
“He’s so annoying…” Again, in unison. Proof enough that they’re father and son.
You sigh as you get up to take your plate to the sink. “Oh, come on, you two, it’s not like he’ll be with you guys the entire night. He has a party at a friend’s he’s going to later.”
“Isn’t he too old to trick-or-treat?” Tsumiki questions, noting that Gojo is way past his undergraduate years.
“He is, but whatever gets that prick any free sweets,” Toji answers his daughter before getting up to put his dish in the sink.
You exit the kitchen, head into the living room, and sit on the couch. The laptop you had placed there was ready to open and unlock, and you clicked on applications and windows to look through before your meeting started in the next three to two minutes. He should be here about—
DING-DONG!!
Now.
Right on cue, you motion for Toji to grab the front door, and he follows your command. “Kids, Gojo’s here!” You shout out to the two kids who still sit at the table. “When you’re done eating, you can go upstairs and put your costumes on. But whoever finishes last has to do the dishes.” You can hear commotion from the table as the brunette rushes to put her dish in the sink and dash for the stairs. Megumi groans to himself; you giggle when you hear him mutter an “Aww man…”
You pull out your headphones to connect to your laptop, put them in their respective ears, and prepare yourself for the meeting. Ignoring the faint passive-aggressive tones of your ex-husband when greeting Gojo at the door…
─── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ───
Your eyes flutter open, noticing the lighting change around the living room. The orange sunlight no longer decorated the space, substituted with the gradual darkness that overtakes you. The only source of light you can figure out is the flashing from the television screen.
Aside from the TV, there are no other signs of life. There aren’t any signs of Tsumiki or Megumi around playing or causing a raucous. It could only mean the two are still trick-or-treating with Gojo.
One blink, two blinks. I must’ve fallen asleep after the meeting… You hum while sinking to the couch, burying your face into the pillow.
But…since when did your pillow act like it was breathing with a heartbeat? And…I smelt that cologne before…How?
“Ya awake now?”
You raise your head, realizing you are not lying on your couch. Technically, you were; however, you were lying on something else on the furniture with you – more like someone.
It’s then you realize that you were lying on Toji during your entire slumber, him leaning on the end of the couch, one leg spread to make room for you to sleep on him while you sit on the other. And you can guess that you had your head on his chest, snuggling up to his warm figure. He looks at you with his green eyes now darkened by the room, yet you can see their glow from the television light. And that small smile he gives you, the scar on the right side of his lip lifted upward. The familiar butterflies in your stomach flutter like before. Like old times sake…That must be embarrassing, huh?
You frantically try to get off of him, “Sorry about that, I thought—“
“No, no,” Toji places a stern hand on your back, keeping you from moving further. “You were comfortable.”
You stare at him for a few seconds until your face contours to a look, and a smile starts to creep up while you situate yourself back to your original position, pressing your face back on his chest to listen to the beats of his heart again. “I recall having this couch all to myself not too long ago, so where’d you come from?”
“Well, I wanted to watch some sports highlights, but I figured you’d kick my ass if I pulled you off and had you sleep on the floor instead.” With the click of your tongue, he chortles. You bet your ass I would. “So, I decided to have ya sleep on me while I watch TV.”
“What’s wrong with the other side of the couch? It’s quite vacant and enough for a big guy like you.”
“True,” his hand rubs circles on your back, an old habit he did when he used to have you like this. “But then I’d be lonely.”
You titter. “That’s big for someone who said he thrives on being alone.”
“I thrive being alone when I’m working.” You’re glad he can’t see your eyes roll; he’d probably grab you by the cheeks like a child. “Besides, why would I wanna be alone when I have you for myself.”
And there it is, your cheeks begin to warm up. Or was it because you’re so close to him that his heat is transferring to you? That’s probably it, yeah. Let’s change the subject…”How long was I out for? I remember the kids left around 7:30-ish.”
“Mmm, it’s going to eleven right now.”
Three and a half hours? Damn. “It’s past their bedtime.”
Toji scoffs. The abrupt motion of his chest rising is satisfying in a way that makes you even more comfortable. “You still think they’re gonna sleep with all that sweet shit they got?” He snickers some more as you shake your head.
“They know better. When you guys get home, be sure to put their candy bags on the top shelf of the closet for the morning.”
“Still traumatized from that one time?”
“Uhhh, yes??” The memory flashes to you for a quick moment, but the dread from before still haunts you. Megumi was six years old and Tsumiki seven, returning home from trick-or-treating and immediately tasting their labor from that night. However, what you didn’t expect was for them both to eat almost half their bags. Let’s just say, thanks to their sugar rushes, they didn’t drop dead until the hour hand touched two of the morning. “Unless it’s the weekend, never again.”
The way the older man chuckles is so therapeutic — it nearly makes you want to fall asleep again. “You weren’t the one chasin' Megumi all over the place tryin' to get him to sleep. Little squirt gets his speed from me.”
“Awww, poor you~” You can sense the glare as you respond in a condescending, sing-song tune. “You and him are always butting heads. Like father, like son.”
“Tch, hate that sayin’ so fuckin’ much.”
“Why? ‘Because it’s true?”
“Shut up.” The hand he used to rest his head comes down to pinch your nose. You wriggle out of his hold with giggles, but he happily keeps you grounded to him with his stronghold and a leg wrapped around to prevent yours from moving. “He only listens to you. Such a sweet lil’ baby to you, huh? Puttin’ my own son against me.”
More giggles prompt out of tiny guilt, and you bring up a hand to rub on his chest. “He’s such a bright boy now. Growing up so big and fast.”
“Miki, too. That girl is way too smart fr' me to catch up. And she’s becoming so kind and strong, crazy to think she made me play teacups when she could barely go down the stairs by herself.” Toji hums, the vibrations felt on the pads of your fingers. “Think she gets that from you.”
You shook your head. “They’re your babies. They do amazing things because they have a big guy like you to catch them if they ever fall.”
“Hmm, fair…But let’s not pretend I’m the best dad in the world. Fuck, never in my life did I think I’d be a dad, especially with two kids. I didn’t know shit back then — still! I still don’t know shit.” You don’t say anything, just listening to him voice his thoughts to you. Because he knows you’d listen – you always do. “If you weren’t there for them, I don’t think they’d be shining like this. Y’re definitely the thing that brought us up together. They look up to you so much. Ya did so well with them.”
Nodding aimlessly, his black sweatshirt grazing on your cheek. “Thank you. Same to you. Didn’t do so bad yourself, big guy.”
“Mmm.”
Nothing is said between you two after that. The only thing that makes noise is the voices coming from the television. The volume lowered, an initiative you could guess from Toji wanting you to get some rest. The silence was too awkward that it might torture some, but it was fine where it was. There was no need to change it, especially when you were comfortable in each other’s embrace.
That is, until Toji asks, “Do you miss it?” The rubs on your back go slower, his fingertips drawing a ticklish sensation.
“Of course I do. All the time.” You answer honestly, turning your head to rest your chin on him. Your eyes glimpse directly at his, giving him a tiny grin. “Why ask? I know the kids miss me being around; what about you? Miss me nagging and putting you to work all the time?”
He sneers at your comment. “Every day.”
It was such a simple answer, yet it had the power to wipe that smirk right off your face. Your eyes locked in his sight, and your heart tuning to an irregular rhythm. Oh, come on, Y/n, get a grip! “Ahem—Toji, I hope you know that I never stopped missing everything we had — I never will. Those years that we shared were probably the best I’ve had. We had happy moments, others sad, of course. But, God, do I miss it all. I miss it so much. I miss having you guys here. Miki and Gumi and—“
“Me?” Good Lord, if this man doesn’t stop looking at you with those goddamn eyes of his, such captivating orbs that say more than he lets on. Your breath hitches, and so does the hand on your back. “Hmm? Ya miss me, baby?”
Oh, for fuck’s sake. Why’d you have to call me that? And it gets worse when he places his free hand on your cheek, his thumb brushing your skin while the forefinger teases the lobe and tragus of your ear. Goddammnit…
“...Yes,” your voice was down a whisper, which could easily be mistaken with the television. But you know Toji heard you, loud and clear. “Especially you, Toji.” You said it. The words that he wanted to hear from you. They felt so forbidden to say, yet it was the truth. You avert your gaze away from him. But you knew that wouldn’t work, not right now. Toji taps your cheek with his thumb, and your eyes sheepishly return to his.
He doesn’t say anything, and that makes your heart beat at an unbearable rate. It’s all you can hear when you stare into his deep emerald eyes, the sound of it ringing your eardrums as if you could puke. Your throat running dry, so you gulp to ease the uncomfortable bob. If something could just happen to end this anxious torture, that would be great.
And then your prayers get answered: something does happen. Toji slowly brings his face closer to yours — your body goes rigid, and you instantly face away before the inevitable happens. No, I didn’t mean that!
“Aht aht, don’t do that, baby.” His hand slithers from your cheek to your chin, forcing you to face straight at him. “Lemme see you.”
“Toji, wait,” your voice travels out in a shaky breath. “We shouldn’t be doing this. We can’t cross this line anymore.”
He listens to your pleas, but his body does otherwise. Placing a gentle kiss on your forehead while the hand on your back snakes downward. “Why not?” His gruff voice dialed down to a whisper.
“Because—Mmmm…” Toji interrupts you by licking the helix of your ear. Oh, you slick bastard. “We’re supposed to be done…”
“That’s not stoppin’ me from takin’ care of my sweet thing.” Jesus Christ, you almost melted from the way he whispered that to your ear. He’s pulling out all the same old tricks, and it gets more hellish by the second as you try not to give in. “So, y're gonna let me take care of you like I always do, right, mama?”
Both his hands now rest on your ass, groping it while your hips sway as if they have a mind of their own. The leg between yours comes up slightly, making you ride on it. The heat on your cheeks has already blossomed to your ears, making it hard to think straight. Gripping his sweatshirt, your hips ride his thigh to ease the throbbing sensation that grows with every motion. Good God, you shouldn’t be doing this. You know you shouldn’t be doing this. However, it’s been so long that you felt wanted like this — wanted by him. It’s all the same – his voice, his hands, his words, his body, and the names he calls – yet here you are turning into putty.
“Haaahh, Mmmfff…Toji, please,” Toji withdraws his face from your shoulder, leaving him to examine your expression. You must look so dumb right now, with your hooded eyes and shivering lips. But, at this point, do you even care? “Please…Treat me right.”
One moment, you see his gaze narrow with a devious glint. Next, you’re taken aback when Toji slams his lips on yours, kissing and sucking your bottom lip until you give him access. With a moan, you open your mouth for him and sink deeper into the kiss. Your hands come around his neck, keeping him focused on you and you alone. Not that he would have it any other way.
His strong hands continue to knead your asscheeks while you hump and grind on his thigh. Nibbling on your lip, you whimper helplessly for him. It strokes his ego, knowing he’s making you like this, the fucking bastard. He takes in your tiny cries happily, shoving his tongue to play with yours. You give in to him, almost losing your balance riding his thigh, yet Toji’s lips never leave yours.
You break the kiss to get an imperative breath, panting loudly and sweetly for him as Toji kisses and licks your ear. The sounds make your lower region twitch. “Hnnmm, fuck…That’s my girl. So fuckin’ good fr’ me always, Y/n…” You can feel him slide a hand up to the hem of your leggings, forcing it inside for his thick fingers to brush up on the bare flesh of your butt. You gasp sharply. Him squeezing your butt has you biting down on his sweatshirt. “—Hahhh, Oh God, Toji,” With every squeeze, he inches closer to your panty-covered chasm, where you know he’d find a damp spot. Please touch me. Please, please, plea—
CLACK-CLINK!!
The two of you are frozen stiff when you hear the sound of the door opening and closing, the foyer lights turned on. “Alright~, we got you guys home. See ya later!” That was Gojo’s voice, indicating everyone was finally back from trick-or-treating. This means that Tsumiki and Megumi are about to see you on top of their father, his hand in your leggings and smacking lips with yours. Your eyes shoot wide with horror — immediately remove yourself from Toji and stand up from the couch to pull your bottoms up. You barely had the chance to peek at Toji because the kids already run to the living room to find you two.
“Y/n, Y/n, look!” The brunette was the first to greet you with her adorable pink Barbie cowgirl costume. She and her brother, dressed as Sasuke Uchiha, cheerfully showcased their pillowcases full of candy. “Look at all this candy we got!”
“Wooow, you guys really went on a haul,” you can only hope they can’t see you sweating bullets through your fake reaction. “Wh–Where’s Gojo?”
“He dropped us off here a few seconds ago and left for the party,” The raven-haired boy answered while scanning his pillowcase.
You only nod along until you frantically wipe your mouth, realizing the tiny trail of spit from the corner of your mouth. “Umm—Ahem, well then, I’m glad you two got all that candy. Now, let’s hurry up and get you guys home so you can get ready for school tomorrow!”
But the children didn’t move an inch. Actually, they looked like they were going to tell you something. You lift a brow. Oh no, they’re going to look at each other. They looked at each other and then glanced back at you. Oh, God, no. “Uhhh, Y/n, we were thinking.” Big sister Tsumiki is always the one who asks the following question. “Can we stay over?”
You inhale a massive breath, yet you do your best not to exhale a heavy sigh. “Kids, you promised to keep the overnight stays to three at max per month. This will be the fifth!”
“Yeah, but it’s dark out. Plus, it’s way past our bedtime.” The younger chimes in with a tiny pout. “We’ll be asleep by the time Dad gets us home.”
And here comes Tsumiki with the tag-team response to add on. “And that means he’ll have to make continuous trips back and forth from the car. Picking me and Megumi up, getting our bookbags, the bags full of candy, the whole thing! We already packed up our PJs just in case.”
You stood there staring at the two in astonishment. There’s no way they thoroughly planned this out. There’s just no way… And to make it worse, they were making valid arguments. You open your mouth to say something, but the two give the best puppy eyes they can. The wave of guilt hits like a train, internally cringing. You turn to Toji, who still sits on the couch, and the motherfucker only gives you a shrug. Wow, what a helpful father he is.
You groan into your hands, shaking your head while looking at the kids who wait for your verdict. “…Alright, you can stay as long as you PROMISE to put those candy bags in my bedroom closet. Deal?” The happy smiles and aggressive head shakes should answer your question. “Good, now go ahead and take your showers before you head for bed.” They rushed to the stairs by the time you finished that sentence, so enthusiastic about staying the night at your house, and you can’t help but smile hearing their footsteps run up the stairs.
With that being said, you turn to the older man again. Your brows are trenched down, but your smile is still present. “So, you legit just sat there and let those two tag-team me like that? In my own house?”
Another shrug with a dumb smirk on his handsome face. “Told you: too smart fr’ me to catch up.” You shake your head before exiting to get the kids and guest rooms ready, leaving him with the television.
─── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ───
The midnight hour has finally danced its way into the darkness of the night. Halloween is finally over, and the month of October is no more. The pitter-patter sound of the rain cleanses the neighborhood of its merits and festivities that partook hours ago, ready for a new phase of the year to take over.
After having the guest room ready with sheets and sleepwear for Toji and kissing the kids goodnight, you rinse your stress off with a nice shower and put on your pajamas to get ready for bed. After you turn the lights off, you drape the comforter over your figure as your body sinks with the cozy sheets and pillowcase. Your eyes close while focusing on the curtains of your window, the only light piercing inside being the lampposts by the street.
…Well, at least that’s what’s supposed to happen. But that’s not the case because you’re not the only one lying comfortably on your mattress. Instead, Toji is here with you, in your room, on your bed, his chest to your back, and his hand roaming inside your oversized shirt. Your lips are now connected with his, sharing your erotic moans with his enticing groans, and you get a little louder as his fingers cup and play with your breast.
“Mmphh…Ahhhh, I thought I told you you’re sleeping in the guest room—Nmmff!” He tweezes your nipple with his forefinger and thumb roughly.
“And I thought you’d be smart enough to know that wasn’t gonna happen.” Toji kisses the crook of your neck, drawing near your ear for him to whisper. “Besides, look at you. Still sleepin’ with no underwear on?”
“Hmph, only when I have a man around the house.” That answer got you another rough tweak on your nip and a purposeful gnaw to your ear. You knew he’d react like that, never liking the mention of another man leaving your mouth – especially during an intimate time like this.
“That so? What man you know that can handle all this?” Toji then moves from his side to be between your legs, pulling up your shirt to fully expose your chest. And your breathe hitches while his free hand travels down your abdomen to your bottoms.
“Ahhhh, no one. Just you...” You look at him with half-lidded eyes, taking in his reaction to what you said. The salacious grin on his face becoming broader should entail that he greatly loved that retort.
He brings his face to your other unattended nipple, “Good answer, princess.” The nub of your breast enters his mouth, and the wet warmth of his tongue greets it with lapped motions and grazes from his teeth. Despite that, it doesn’t distract you from the fact your bottoms are pulled down with ease and are thrown to the bedroom floor, leaving your cunt out for him, your erotic fluids seeping and glistening from the outside lights.
Toji plays with your folds until he can stuff his pointer finger into your chasm, the insertion resulting in your body’s jolt. It’s been a long while since you had his thick digit inside you, playing and scraping the inner walls to evoke whimpers. God, it felt so good, this satisfying feeling returning to awaken your body to his touch. He interacts with your body as if he’s the only person who knows how to get you going – and it’s the truth. No one can put you in a blissful haze quicker than this man. And you’d prefer to keep it that way.
The addition of his middle finger into your leaky entrance startles you, the thick digit making its way in with such vigor that he uses both fingers to scrape the velvety texture of your walls. Your eyes are now screwed shut at the growing commotion between your thighs, and the heat within your body flourishing all around gets to your head. “—Khmm, Oh fuuck, Toji. Please, don’t stop.”
With a soft ‘pop’ noise from his lips, Toji replies to your demands. “I’m sorry, what’s my name again?” You giggle with trenched brows. Of course, how could I forget?
“Nmmph, D-Daddy, pleaseee, I’m so clo—Ahhhann!!” He puts his thumb to your clit, grinding down on it unexpectedly. “I wanna cum, pleaseee…”
“Hmmm, good girl,” he teased, laying down kisses, nibbling on the skin of your stomach and inner thighs until he arrives at your leaking slit. Your body jerks up from the bed when you feel the cold, wet muscle slowly lick on your clitoris before ravaging your folds. The sounds of his mouth on your cunt are so lewd to the ear, slurping noises from his lips with the lapping motions of his tongue claiming your come are too much for you. And when he uses his hand to swipe and pinch your clit? Oh, it’s a wrap. Your release comes out without control, biting down on your bottom lip to make sure your cries don’t leave this space for the kids to hear. Their room is on the other side down the hall; tonight isn’t the night for too many risks.
When your trembling body calms down and subsides, Toji withdraws his face from between your thighs. Your essence paints his mouth, and he wipes his chin clean while licking the remnants that coat his scarred lips. “Hmph, missed tastin’ you like that.” You open your eyes when your high finally evades you, watching your ex-husband pull down his sweats. His erection springs out and hits his stomach, your mind going rampant with thoughts as you ogle at his freed limb. Shit, it’s been so long. Will that shit even fit me again?
“Don’t think it’ll fit, baby?” Damn him, he loves teasing you. Toji then discards his black wife-beater, at long last revealing his well-built, brawny physique that has you drooling for him. He uses his hands to maneuver your legs—your knees pushed to your chest as your legs propped up on his shoulders. A position you’re all too familiar with. Your eyes don’t leave Toji’s cock as he aligns his cock to your slick-coated folds. “Take some breaths fr’ me, sweetie. Can’t take care of you when you’re all tense.”
You take up on his advice and begin taking deep breaths, reminding yourself to maintain the steady pattern as he pushes the tip of his dick between the lips of your cunt. Every inhale is where he nudges into the hole of your inner cavern, and every exhale gives you time to breathe out the pain that comes in for a split second. This carries on until the cockhead wedges itself perfectly into your vagina, along with the inches of his girth that stretches until the base kisses your lips, the tip of him kissing your cervix. Tears swell up in your eyes, taking more deep breaths to prepare yourself for what’s about to come.
“Oooh fuuuck…Heh, yeah, that’s my baby right there. Fittin’ so perfect fr’ me, mama…” He puts his weight on you, keeping your figure unmoving under his bow.
“Nmmmf, Daddyyy,” you’re forced to take in all of him, and drool trails down your lips with no hope of taking care of it. “…I’m so full, you’re too much…”
“I know, sweetie, I know.” He wipes your spit after kissing your forehead. How gentle compared to what you’re about to go through. “Gonna move now.” His thrusts start slow for the two of you to adjust to each other; the feeling of his length’s veins coming in and out of your chasm is so euphoric, and the kisses to your cervix want your body to writhe and squirm. But you’re bent into this position for a reason: forced to submit to him no matter what. So you do just that.
Yet your horny haze gets more potent once he picks up the pace, rutting into you with increased speed. Your slit, still sensitive from earlier, gets overstimulated with the constant grazes on your gummy walls and jabs to your tender cervix. It takes everything in your power not to come so early.
“—Hahhhh, Nmmph. Oh, shit, shit, shit…” Toji groans above you, the thrusts of his pelvis increase to an irregular rhythm, grinding deep into your cunt to the point of uncontrollable babbles escaping your lips. His bullying on your insides results in you gripping his length hard, causing the older man to hiss and moan at your contractions. “—Ohhhfuuuckk!! Jesus Christ, baby. Y’re gonna make me go crazy.”
As if that wasn’t already happening now that he pistons his cock into your wetness, your brain turning into mush from the onslaught of ruts to your puffy wet chasm. Tears stream down your face, and more drool follows down with more precise hits to your delicate canal. The pounding in your head makes it hard to think of anything else, the squelching noises and paps of Toji’s balls hitting your cunt making it worse.
“D-Daddyyy, I’m—Ohoooo!! Oh, Jesus, ohhhshit!” You can’t formulate a proper sentence, too engulfed with the electrifying sensations coursing through your body.
“Damn, you feel too fucking good—Hnngh!!” Toji places his forehead on yours, resting his entire weight on you while his hips have a mind of their own. “‘Bout to make me knock you up…”
Oh, good Lord. The mere thought of having a child is the last thing that should be on your mind. But in a time like this, who in their right mind would be thinking straight? “Nnnfff! Oh God, pleaseee, fill me up, Daddyy!” Green eyes narrow with trenched brows. “—Pleasepleasepleaseee!! I want you to fill me up so bad, I want it, I want—Hyaaaaa!!”
How can he deny your desperate, teary pleas when you’re urging him on like this? “Heh, you’re so fuckin’ sexy, mama.” Toji captures your lips with his, your mewls taken by him as you sink further into your pleasurable thrill.
Sporadic thrusts of his pelvis produce more raunchy noises in the joining of your sexes, his heavy balls smacking on your cunt as he drives the base of his cock straight into you. Your slit is now a puffy mess, come and slick form a soapy mess that Toji now harbors a milky ring around his girth. A few rushed, sloppy thrusts heighten your high once more, and then Toji presses his pelvis down to the hilt on one final, harsh thrust, unloading his seed into your aching folds. And your climax follows in a few seconds, the walls of your cunt fluttering on his pulsating dick as your essence soaks him. Your muffled shrieks are received by him, quivering under him until the aftershocks wash through your body.
Once you two breathe at a steady tempo and the nerves of your sweaty bodies fall still, the kiss is broken with heavy pants and a string of spit that links you two together. Toji buries his face between your neck and shoulder, licking and kissing your skin as you’re allowed time to experience your clarity.
“Hmmm…You know I’m not done yet, princess.” Toji mumbles to your ear before stationing your legs off his shoulders for them to rest.
“Yeah, I know, big guy.” You tease him with a breathless laugh, kissing him on the temple. “Always wanting more…”
─── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ───
“…So, you’re telling me you had your ex-husband spend the night? Not just the kids?”
“Yup, that’s what happened.”
This morning was different from your usual routine – well, you can’t say it’s different if you have done it before, huh? After five years of divorce, you thought you’d be so used to waking up and getting ready for work without worrying about others. However, this morning proves otherwise.
It felt natural walking into the kids’ room and lightly shaking them awake, telling them to get ready while you whip up something quick for them to eat as Toji showers (using your bathroom, by the way). Watching the kids run down the stairs and eat breakfast puts a smile on your face, reminiscing about the good old days when they were younger and teenier. It sometimes feels surreal doing the same thing for them now that they’re getting older and taller. But seeing them bicker and interact with each other in your presence never fails to warm your heart.
When Toji’s finished freshening up and loading his kids’ stuff in his truck, it’s time to bid them farewell for their departure for school. You give them final touch-ups on their hair and outfits, reminding them to be safe and not get into trouble (especially Megumi, now that the boy’s been getting into fights). And before they rush to the car, you hug them and give each a kiss on the cheek. Here is where the warm feeling inside your heart begins to deteriorate, not wanting to let them go. Yet, for their sake – and education – you release them and hope for the best.
The last to leave was Toji, who came from the kitchen to the front door with a paper plate wrapped in foil in one hand. His name is written boldly by a black Sharpie. “This fr' me?”
“No, it’s for Shiu Kong, for dealing with you all the time.” You stick your tongue out at Toji as he glares at you, not even moving out of the way while he exits through the door. “You better eat that when you get to work, you have a terrible habit of skipping lunch.”
“Whatever ya say, mom.” He pesters you with the title, knowing you’re technically not a mother anymore. Yet it only makes you smile knowing he notices your maternal side.
“Don’t forget to text me when Tsumiki’s soccer game is next week.” You watch him go down the porch stairs.
“Will do.”He whistles.
“And Toji?”
The man stops walking to turn to you, his forest green eyes fixed on you so quickly that you almost forget what you want to say. Or what you wanted to do. You place your fingers on your lips and blow a kiss with an outward gesture. It was an old habit you did whenever he left, something you can’t seem to get out of practice with. It’s embroidered in your mind at this point.
And when he catches the kiss with his free hand and places it on his chest, it makes your heart skip a beat. Toji grins, “I’ll be damned if that was fr' Shiu, too.”
You snicker with a shaken head. “Drive safe, Toji.” Closing the front door, you stand there for a while. Your smile doesn’t falter; it gets bigger as you replay the moment instead. Thinking about him, hearing him, seeing him, it all drives you crazy. And that’s a good thing…right?
“I don’t know, sounds like you still kinda care about the guy.”
“Of course I do,” So here you are, sitting in your living room enjoying the rays of the sunset decorating the space, in a video call with your best friends, Utahime and Mei Mei. You reply to the former’s comment. “Just because I don’t have the ring on my finger doesn’t mean I shouldn’t care about him. I mean, he’s the father of two lovely children.”
“Shoot, you’re better than me, then.” The dark-haired woman admits. “But you’re kinda proving my point, Y/n. Even when you don’t have the ring on, you two act like the same old couple, and it’s definitely not just for the kids’ sake. Let’s be real here.”
You try to interject, but the pale-blue-haired other, Mei Mei, intervenes, “I agree. It’s one thing if you let the children stay over, but he also wanted to spend the night. Sure, he could’ve been tired from driving all day and such. However, if you’re still seeing a man for the last five years – while legally unbound – and he says he wants to spend the night under your roof, which is rare, that should ring some bells at least.”
“I know, it did…” you nod along with what your friend is saying, throwing your head back with a heavy sigh. “But it’s not like he’s never spent the night here before, nor is he banished from stepping inside.”
“Oh? Then why is this time different from the others?”
Utahime jumps in after Mei Mei’s chirp. “Yeah, you’re telling us about all these nostalgic lovey-dovey feelings as if you’re falling in love with him all over again. What, did you two have sex or something?”
An open mouth, yet no words come out, leaving you in a predicament. You could’ve just lied or swerved the subject to something else. But you didn’t. And the two women on the screen lift their brows with hooded eyes, a look meaning a thousand words. You couldn’t even explain yourself either because a sudden knock on your door captured the attention of all three of you.
You stand up and walk towards the door, your friends still on call on the phone at hand. Opening the door, you’re almost stunned to see in front of you. Tsumiki and Megumi with nervous smiles, and their father at the car collecting the same duffles bags from last night. You’re kidding.
“Hey, kids.” The two of them gulped from not calling them by their names. You bring up the phone to face the screen to them. “Say hello to Auntie Mei Mei and Utahime.” The women on the line smile and wave at the children, who sheepishly wave back.
“Hi, aunties.” Megumi greets them, and then his eyes drift back to you. “So, Y/n—“
“What did you forget this time?” Straight to the point, no room for excuses.
“It was Miki this time! She forgot her soccer cleats.” The older sibling gawks at her younger brother for calling her out.
“Tsumiki, I know you have cleats at home.”
“I do, but these are special! You bought them for my birthday, and I’ve been wearing them to every game ever since! So, I was scared when I couldn’t find them at home.” The brunette was quick to defend her stand. “Also, Dad doesn’t feel like driving up here and then back. So…can we…”
You close your eyes and bring the phone to your face to shield your vexation. Twice in a row, the sixth time this month. You can hear the giggles of your friends from the other side of the phone, adding more fuel to the fire. You don’t look up until you hear heavy footsteps on the porch, seeing Toji holding both duffle bags with a hand and shoulder. He stares at you as you stare at him, a silent conversation on how to handle this situation. And when he shrugs with lifted brows, you realize it’s no use and release the long-awaited sigh.
“….If I see one more thing being left behind here, you guys can’t come back till December, understand?” It wasn’t anything serious, but enough for the kids to know you weren’t joking. They nod their heads in unison while you roll your eyes. “Okay, get in here.” They rushed inside with gleeful laughs, the shuffling of their backpacks following along with them. Your eyes then drift to Toji as he walks up to you. “Did you forget something here, too?”
“Yeah,” you lift a brow when he drops Megumi’s bag to the floor. Before you can register his hand on your chin, you squeak when he brings his lips to yours. It lasted for seconds, but the kiss was sweet and tender, sucking on your lip before letting go with a playful bite. “Meant to give you that when you woke up. Thanks fr' the food, mama.”
Toji picks the bag up and walks inside your home to put the bags in the rooms, leaving you standing on the porch with an astounded expression. You couldn’t appropriately calibrate your thoughts until you heard faint laughs from the phone. Then, you realize your best friends witnessed the entire scene that transpired.
Utahime, with the slyest leer, was the first to say something. “Oh yeah, he laid that pipe on you good, without a doubt.”
“Mhmm,” Mei Mei agrees with a chuckle. “And I'm guessing he’s gonna do it again tonight. Isn’t that right, Y/n?”
You end the video call with a heated face. “Sh-Shut your damn mouths!!” Again, you groan into your hands before returning inside. Thank God I still have those birth control pills...

Hey Jude
Sam and Dean Winchester & little sister!reader
Requested by Anonymous
Synopsis: based off of 12x11, but you lose your memory instead of Dean.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You cried out in pain and surprise as the witch blew a strange dark powder into your face and you staggered back into the wall.
“Hey!” Dean turned suddenly when he heard your distress, and he lifted his gun and fired off three rounds of witch-killing bullets into the woman that hurt his little sister.
“You ok?” Sam asked, helping you straighten up and glancing down at the witch to make sure she was dead.
“Fine.” You shook yourself and did a once over—no extra limbs, no pain, nothing. “I’m fine. The witch is dead, so whatever she threw at me won’t work.”
“We should get going,” Dean said. “If you’re sure you’re ok.”
“I’m sure.”
“This place isn’t half bad,” you spoke up as the Impala pulled into a motel. Your brows drew together in confusion as Dean pulled up in front of a room. “Don’t we need to check in?”
“We’ve…been here for two days,” Sam said, turning in his seat and frowning at you. “What are you talking about?”
“Oh…nothing,” you mumbled shyly, suddenly both confused and embarrassed. Why didn’t you remember? “Never mind.”
“I’m gonna give Rowena a call,” Sam said as the three of you entered your motel room. “She said there was a whole coven here, but we’ve only taken out two witches—maybe she can help us track down the rest.”
“Who?” You asked, trying to wrap your brain around the name, familiar yet somehow foreign—was it another hunter?
“Rowena…” Dean said, seemingly baffled by your question. “Red head witch? Irish, or Scottish, or whatever?” Dean goggled at you, but you just stared back blankly. “Seriously, are you joking?”
“No…” you were confused. Clearly your brothers couldn’t know this “Rowena” too well, otherwise you would remember her. So why did Dean care so much if you did? “Am I supposed to know her?”
“We saw her just last week,” Sam said, watching you carefully. “You know, Crowley’s mother?”
“Crowley?” This name felt more familiar to you, but still you couldn’t quite grasp it. “Crowley…” you mumbled again, as if repeating it would somehow bring a face to mind.
“Now I know you’re kidding,” Dean scoffed, although he didn’t look convinced.
“I don’t understand,” you said, looking from Sam to Dean and back again.
“You know Crowley,” Sam said. “You know Rowena, too. Why can’t—“ Sam’s eyes widened suddenly in horror. “That…that stuff the witch threw at you.”
“You mean Rowena?” You remembered that Sam—or was it Dean?—has just said that Rowena was a witch.
“What? No,” Dean said to you before turning to Sam. “What about it? You think maybe it messed with her memory? Made her forget about witches, or something?”
“That doesn’t explain why she forgot Crowley,” Sam countered. “Maybe it’s made her forget the supernatural world.”
“Supernatural,” you spoke up, desperate to prove that you hadn’t forgotten. “Like ghosts. We hunt ghosts. I haven’t forgotten, see?”
Dean’s brows crinkled in confusion.
“Then I don’t understand…”
“Let’s call Rowena,” Sam suggested. “She’ll know what this is.”
“Oh dear,” Rowena’s sigh of disappointment got the attention of the Winchester brothers; however, you were distracted playing with Dean’s gun on his bed.
“What is it?” Dean demanded.
“It’s definitely a memory spell.” Rowena sighed again. “This spell…it will make her memory fade piece by piece, until she can’t remember anything.”
“Anything?” Sam asked.
“Anything. Not you, not even herself. Soon enough she’ll forget how to eat, how to…how to breathe. And then…” Rowena let her voice trail off, her point having been made.
“Ok, then fix it,” Dean insisted.
“It’s not that simple. I need the grimoire—the spell book used to make that powder—if I’m going to be able to undo it.”
“And how are we supposed to find that?” Dean growled.
“It’ll be with the rest of the coven,” Rowena said confidently. “You said you only got two witches, right? A coven must be at least three. Any remaining will have the grimoire.”
“Is this thing loaded?” Dean whirled around to see you pointing his gun straight up at your own eye.
“Hey, hey!” He yelled, rushing to you and yanking the gun from your hands. “That is not a toy!”
“I’m sorry,” you mumbled, your gaze going from Dean to Rowena. “You’re our witch friend, right?”
“I…suppose,” Rowena said slowly.
“Cool!” You exclaimed, jumping off Dean’s bed and going straight for Rowena’s bag. “Is this your witch bag? Do you have cool stuff in here?”
“Hey now!” Rowena grabbed your arms and pulled them out of her bag. “Stay out of that, you’ll set off a curse or something!” Rowena took one look at your pouting face and sighed, reaching into her bag. “Here,” she said, coming out with a voodoo doll. “Play with this.”
“Wait, is that gonna hurt someone?” Dean spoke up.
“She’s fine,” Rowena insisted, waving her hand dismissively as you returned to Dean’s bed, examining the doll with a grin. “Now, we need to find that coven.”
“We can’t just leave her here alone,” Sam hissed as Dean packed his bag for the hunt.
“Well we’re not going to take her with us,” Dean countered.
“Are you going somewhere?” You spoke up suddenly.
“We’ve gotta take out that witch,” Dean said.
“What witch?” You asked. The brothers ignored you.
“Look, she’ll be fine for just a few hours,” Dean told Sam. “And when we’re back, Rowena can break the curse.”
“Whose curse?” You asked. “Are you cursed?”
“Alright. Let’s go.” Sam sighed.
He and Dean headed for the door, but both stopped when you grabbed onto Sam’s arm.
“We’ll be back soon,” he promised.
“Don’t,” you pleaded. “Please don’t. I’m—I’m forgetting everything…and I don’t want to forget you. If you go, I’ll forget.”
“Hey, that’s not gonna happen,” Dean spoke up. “We’re gonna break this curse, and you’ll be ok.”
You still looked scared and unconvinced, so Dean continued.
“I want you to do something for me. Just keep repeating the most important things to yourself—it’ll help.”
“Ok…” you said slowly, then froze as you wondered where to start.
“Start small,” Dean instructed.
“My…my name is Y/N.” You glanced at Dean, then Sam. “Sam and Dean are my brothers. Rowena…is our witch friend. Castiel is our angel friend. My dad is John Winchester.”
“You’re doing great,” Sam insisted. “If you keep doing that, you won’t forget us.”
You didn’t think that that was how the curse worked, but you couldn’t honestly remember. You would have to take De—no, Sam’s—word for it.
“Are you sure?” Your voice faded to a whisper as Sam and Dean walked out the door before you had even started the question. You took a deep breathe, steeling yourself. “Ok. My name…my name is Y/N Winchester…”
“Well that was a bust,” Dean groaned as he pulled the Impala back into the motel. “Are you sure we shouldn’t just head to the next possible location?”
“I want to check on her,” Sam insisted. “I don’t want her to be scared.”
Dean didn’t respond, he just parked the Impala and led the way into the room. The boys hadn’t taken two steps into the room before Sam caught sight of you ducking into the bathroom and slamming the door behind you.
“Y/N?” Dean called out. “Sweetheart, are you ok?”
Silence greeted his question.
“Y/N?” Sam knocked on the door. “Please answer me.”
“Go away!” Your voice was tight and squeaky, even through the door.
“Kiddo it’s us,” Sam assured you.
“How-how do you know my name?” There was more confusion in your voice than fear now.
“Y/N—“ Dean’s voice stuck, and he cleared his throat. “It’s us, it’s your brothers. You know us, remember?”
The lock clicked on the bathroom door, and Dean could see half of your face as you peered up at him. After a moment, you swung the door open all the way, but you remained in the doorway hesitantly.
“I know you,” you mumbled. Dean held his breath as you stared first at him, then Sam. “My…brothers…” you were rubbing your arm now, anxiously glancing at your brothers as you wracked your brain for more information. “You’re…you’re S-S…D…” you were breathing hard now, terrified that you couldn’t remember their names. “I-I know it, I know who you are, I know it!”
“Hey, it’s ok, it’s ok,” Sam soothed. “Do you want me to tell you?”
“No, no, I know it,” you insisted. “I know this, I-I have to know this.”
“It’s…it’s ok if you don’t remember,” Dean spoke up. “We’re here, we can help you.”
“No, it’s not ok!” Your outburst startled the boys, but they didn’t show it. “It’s not ok, I have to know this! You-you’re my big brothers, and I have to remember you!”
“Commere.” Sam couldn’t stand to see you start to cry, so he pulled you into his arms. “It’s gonna be ok…we’re going to fix this, we are.”
“I-I have to…I remember, I have to…” you were babbling almost incoherently. Sam looked at Dean over your shoulder, and they shared a moment of painful panic before Dean spoke.
“I’m gonna get us some food.” And he rushed out the door.
Sam stayed with you for several minutes before you slowly disentangled yourself from him.
“I can’t remember,” you whimpered.
“I…I know.” Sam sighed. He was about to speak again when he spotted the Impala out of the corner of his eye through the window—Dean was sitting inside, not moving; he hadn’t left. “Um…I’m gonna go talk to him.” Sam started for the door, but you stopped him.
“Let me,” you said. “I…I want to.”
So Sam stood back as you went to comfort your brother whose name you couldn’t remember.
He just needed a minute. He would go out, get food, come back, and be ready to help you again but he just needed a minute.
He turned on the radio, cursing himself for it a moment later when Hey Jude started playing. He reached up to turn it off—it was just too painful to hear this, your favorite song—but he stopped when your favorite part started playing.
“And any time you feel the pain,
Hey Jude, refrain
Don’t carry the world upon your shoulder.”
The words brought back a thousand memories, a thousand little moments between you and Dean that he knew he would remember forever. A few precious moments stood out above the rest—
“Hey little sister.” The first words Dean ever said to you. You were just a toddler, crying in the doorway of a filthy motel room while you watched your mother—some random hookup of John’s who’d gotten sick of taking care of a kid—drive away. She’d stayed long enough to hear that Dean was John’s son, then she’d snapped, “This is for him,” and shoved her daughter forward before rushing to her car.
You were utterly inconsolable, sobbing until your face was bright red and you could barely breathe. If Dean didn’t calm you down quickly, you might pass out, crying yourself into exhaustion.
“Hey Jude…” Dean had barely even made the decision to start singing before Hey Jude came to his head—the song his mother used to calm him down. “Don’t make it bad
Take a sad song and make it better…”
Dean would’ve done anything—anything—to undo the last ten minutes. He wanted to go back and change it all, to tell you a different story, to say “monsters aren’t real, they’re just stories, and of course dad doesn’t fight monsters, of course he’s not in danger, of course he’ll come home.”
But he couldn’t.
You were scared now. Maybe you always would be, in some capacity. You would always carry that little voice inside that said—“there are monsters out there, and they want you dead.”
Dean hadn’t wanted to tell you. Why did you have to be so curious? Why did you have so many questions, questions that you demanded answers for?
You were crying now; sitting by the motel window, waiting for dad to show up, and you were crying. Dean had done this—he’d made you so scared that you cried by the window, hoping that dad was coming home.
You flinched when the wind banged a tree against the window, and Dean decided he couldn’t take it anymore. He sat beside you, and you latched onto his arm instantly, leaning on him for support. Dean did the only thing he could think of—
“Hey Jude, don’t be afraid…”
Dean’s memories retreated to the back of his mind when the Impala door opened and you climbed in. He stopped his gentle singing—he hadn’t even realized he was doing it—when you turned to look at him. He looked from your eyes to the radio, almost as if he were begging you to remember—not just the song, but everything it meant to both of you. You just blinked up at him with that blank expression that had been haunting Dean since you started to forget.
“I don’t want you to be sad,” you whispered. Dean smiled painfully.
“You don’t even know my name.”
“But I know that I care about you.”
Dean’s breath hitched.
“You shouldn’t worry about me, little sister. I’m gonna fix you, I promise.”
“But what if you can’t? I still don’t want you to be sad.”
Dean was struggling to hold onto his resolve—to his strength.
“Don’t worry about that. I’m not gonna let anything bad happen to you.”
The both of you lapsed into silence, the closing notes of Hey Jude still playing.
“I like this song,” you said quietly. “It sounds nice.”
Dean clenched his jaw tightly to keep his lips from quivering.
“Kid, please go back to Sammy.”
“Sammy,” you mumbled to yourself, as if trying to put a face to the name. Dean’s fists clenched as he blinked rapidly.
“That room-“ he pointed- “go knock. Sam is in there, he’ll take care of you while I get us some food.”
You stared at Dean for a long moment; he knew that you were worried about him, but the blank expression on your face hurt more than he could take.
“Sweetheart, go. I need you to…please. Please go.”
You left without another word.
“I found it.” Rowena’s outburst came just after you swallowed the last of your fries—Sam and Dean had barely picked at their food, but you had forgotten so much that you were no longer sure what they were worried about, so you felt fine.
“Found what?” Dean demanded.
“The coven. I’m sure of it. It’s the perfect place for a witch to hide. You take the last remaining in the coven out and get me their grimoire, and that curse will be gone before we know it.”
“What about her?” Sam’s eyes darted to you before looking back at Dean. “I don’t think she should be alone, she’s forgetting more and more.”
You glanced behind you to make sure he had looked at you, and not someone else. Dean noticed this and sighed.
“We don’t have much choice.” Dean stepped over to the tv and switched it on. “Commere Y/N.” He had to stare at you for several seconds before you realized that that was your name.
You jumped up off the chair and went to sit on Dean’s bed so you could get a good view of the tv.
“Ok, sit here and watch this,” Dean instructed, gesturing to the cartoon playing. “Don’t move, don’t leave, ok?”
“Why can’t I go?” You wondered.
“Do you know what we’re doing?” Dean asked. You pondered this.
“Witches…covens…your lumberjack outfits…a Halloween party?” You guessed.
Dean glanced down at his red flannel, seemingly offended, before he waved it off in annoyance.
“Yeah, you’re definitely staying here.”
“Well can I play with this then?” All three turned to see you with a—quite possibly cursed—dagger that you had somehow gotten from Rowena’s bag, along with a—definitely cursed—witches’ spell book.
“Hey now!” Rowena cried out, snatching both items from you. “How many times do I have to tell you, my things are not toys!”
You ignored this loud outburst and instead stared at Rowena as if you had never seen her.
“I like your dress,” you said suddenly. “It’s so…it’s like a queen’s dress.”
“Why…thank you,” she said with a sudden smile. “I think I like you better this way.”
“Rowena.” Dean grumbled.
“Yes yes alright,” she huffed. “Let’s go.”
The witches were surprisingly easy to kill, but when Rowena went to use their grimoire, Sam stopped her.
“How long will this spell take?” He asked.
“Maybe an hour.”
“I want to do it back at the hotel,” Sam insisted.
“It’s faster to—“ Dean began, but Sam interrupted.
“She’s gotta be terrified right now, with how much she’s forgetting so quickly. I want to be there for her, I want her to know that we’re fixing this.”
“It’s not far,” Rowena said, taking Sam’s side. “Let’s go.”
You were much harder to coax out of the bathroom this time, and even when you were sitting on Dean’s bed with a brother on either side of you while Rowena worked on the spell, you looked unconvinced.
Sam was trying to calm your nerves by showing you pictures and telling you names and facts.
“And this, this is Bobby—“ he’d shown you Bobby’s picture at least three times, but your short term memory kept getting worse, so you didn’t notice.
“Um…” Sam stopped talking when you started, but you didn’t get far before your face screwed up, and Sam knew you were trying to remember his name.
“Sam,” he supplied, hating to see you in distress.
“Sam,” you said with a breath of relief. “I just…I for-I forgot, what’s…what’s my name?”
Sam barely heard Dean’s sharp intake of breath over his own shattering heart.
“It’s…you’re—“
“Y/N.”
Sam was confused when you answered your own question, until he looked from you to Rowena, who wore a triumphant smile.
“Did you—does she—“
“Sam.” The wide grin on your face was unmistakable, as was the spark in your eye. “Dean.”
“Oh kid,” Dean breathed, wrapping you in his arms a split second before Sam could. Sam didn’t care though—he grabbed both his siblings in a group hug that had Rowena rolling her eyes, although the smile never left her face.
“You’re back.” Sam grinned.
“Did you ever doubt it?” You questioned with a laugh.
“I admit, a few moments gave me pause,” Sam chuckled.
“Didn’t doubt it for a second,” Dean insisted. “I knew you’d come back to us.”
“Well I’m sure that that would’ve comforted me—if I coulda remembered your name.”
You knew Dean was gonna throw that pillow at you before he’d even grabbed it—you didn’t need your memories to tell you that.

It was the first week of September, marking the beginning of your first year in college. You were excited to say the least, you have always dreamed of living the typical university life; hanging out with your friends, fraternity parties, going out with the hottest guys on campus and stuff like that.
Your roommate, Samantha, seemed fine, she was the same age as you and was very friendly to you when you introduced yourself. Of course, the first thing you did when you met Sam was give her a hand shake. As a witch, you could realize if the person you were touching was either a vampire, a human or even a witch like you.
You found out you were a witch last year when you accidentally caused a fire at a pool party. Ever since then, your grandma has been teaching you how to control your magic. The lessons started with simple spells, such as a locating spell. Your grandma insisted that one of the first things you should learn was how to defend yourself against a vampire, knowing that vampires often force witches to obey them.
You woke up early in the morning, you checked your phone to take a look at your timetable. You had Economics class in a few hours, so you proceed to do your morning routine; brushing your teeth, having breakfast and taking a shower. Once you were out of the shower and finished drying your hair, you used your hands to wipe the fogged-up bathroom mirror to see your face. It was your first day, you wanted to be beautiful as hell, so you started putting on makeup.
The first thing you saw as you opened the door was Samantha, your roommate, laying on her bed while scrolling through social media.
“Good morning, Sam” you greeted her as you walked to your closet.
“Morning, Y/N, how did you sleep?” she sat down on her bed and put her phone down
“Like a baby, these beds are great” you replied while taking off a few shirts from your closet, not looking at her.
“Yeah, I could tell you loved them; you snored all night,” she said with a playful tone. You stopped what you were doing and covered your face with your hands, trying to hide how red your cheeks had turned. She couldn’t help but laugh. “I’m just messing with you, you don’t snore, thank God.”
You had a chit chat with her as you both were getting ready for class. Eventually, she went to the bathroom and you headed to the classroom. You thought you were so lucky to have a roommate like Samantha, she was cool.
When you arrived at the classroom, you saw that only a few desks were occupied. You didn’t want to sit in the back, but you didn’t want to be in the front row either, so you decided to sit in the middle, in the only empty row.
You watched as the seats gradually filled up over time. There were five minutes left before the class started—in fact, the professor had already arrived—and yet the seat to your right remained empty. It caught your attention because you didn’t think a subject like Economics would have any empty seats.
However, it didn’t take long before someone sat down next to you. You turned your head and locked eyes with a black-haired boy you had never seen before, someone who looked like he’d been sculpted by the gods. You couldn’t take your eyes off him, and apparently, neither could he. You stayed like that for a few seconds… in silence. Until the boy decided to break it.
“Hello… my name is Jay” he said with a shy smile on his face.
“I’m Y/N, nice to meet you” you replied, also with a shy smile.
He opened his mouth to say something, but the professor cut him off by starting the class. You both turned your heads to the professor. You quickly took out your laptop and started taking notes, and so did Jay.
The class was… not what you expected. It was boring as hell. You were interested in the topic he was teaching; the problem was how he was teaching it. On top of that, he spoke in such a low tone of voice that it felt like he wanted his students to fall asleep during his class.
At some point you got distracted and, because of that, you lost the string of what he was saying. When you tried to get back to taking notes you weren’t able to understand, since it was related to what he explained during the time you got distracted.
You sighed before looking at Jay; he never stopped taking notes. “Jay…” you murmured in the lowest tone possible. He tilted his head to face you. “Would you mind showing me your screen for a sec?” He didn’t hesitate to turn his laptop in your direction so you could copy his notes. “Thanks”
“It’s nothing,” he responded. You noticed he was staring at you as you were writing down his notes. You finished quickly.
As the class ended, you packed your things, feeling the relief of finally escaping. Jay, however, stayed seated, watching you with a smirk as you slung your bag over your shoulder.
“Hey,” he called, stopping you just before you stepped into the aisle. “Got a sec?”
You glanced down at him, one brow arched. “What is it, Jay?”
He leaned back in his chair, spinning his pen between his fingers. “How about you give me your number?”
Your lips curved into a smirk. “My number? For what, exactly?”
“To return the favor,” he said smoothly, tapping the edge of his laptop. “You know, for letting you copy my notes today. Seems fair, right?”
You gave him a look, not missing the way his eyes gleamed with playful confidence. “Hmm, sounds less like returning a favor and more like you’re finding an excuse to talk to me.”
Jay’s grin widened, clearly enjoying your response. “Caught me. Guilty as charged,” he admitted without missing a beat. “But hey, I figure someone like you might be worth chatting with outside this horrible class.”
You didn’t hesitate this time, pulling out your phone with a shrug. “Fair enough,” you said, typing your number into his contact screen before handing it back.
“Done,” he said, glancing at his phone to check your name. Jay stood, slinging his bag over his shoulder as if this whole interaction had been the most natural thing in the world. “See you next time, then. And don’t worry, I’m not much of a spammer, unless I get bored.”
He gave you a wink before strolling out of the classroom.
︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶
Later that night, you were brushing your teeth, thinking about Jay. You liked guys who took the initiative, and he was also handsome as hell. He hadn’t texted you yet. You weren’t dying for a text, but still, you wanted to know more about him. You thought about searching for him on social media; however, you only knew his first name, and it was a common one, so it was going to be hard to find him on Instagram. That’s when you decided to ask Samantha to help you get his last name.
You heard Samantha yell, “Found it!” Oh, that was faster than you expected. You left the bathroom and sat next to her. “I found him on your class list. His last name is Park.”
You grabbed your phone and started searching for Jay Park on Instagram. You visited a few profiles before finally finding his account. He had posted a few pictures of himself at the beach, at the gym, and at parties.
“Girl, he’s so handsome. Check his stories,” Samantha said, leaning over your shoulder.
You tapped on the highlight named “bros,” and as you were scrolling through the stories, you saw one of Jay with another guy on a yacht.
“Oh my god, look at his friend. He’s way hotter,” Samantha chuckled. She was literally all about boys. Luckily, Jay had tagged his friend in the story, so Samantha didn’t hesitate to grab her own phone and follow him. His name was Lee Heeseung.
A few hours later, Samantha fell asleep in her bed and you were on yours, still stalking Jay. You noticed something, in every picture he was wearing the same ring, maybe it had a special meaning to him… or something like that. You checked your timetable, you only had Economics on Mondays and Fridays, meaning you wouldn’t see Jay until the end of the week unless you and him shared another class.
At that moment, you received a text. It was from Jay, greeting you and asking what you were doing.
“Not much, just about to sleep,” you replied casually.
His response came almost instantly. “Going to bed so soon? Making sure you won’t fall sleep in class again?.”
You chuckled, typing back, “I wasn’t that bad. Your notes were just too detailed, they knocked me out.”
Jay’s next message had you smiling. “I’ll take that as a compliment. Guess I’ll have to tone down my brilliance next time.”
“Or just get a louder voice,” you teased, feeling a little bolder.
“Ouch. Brutal,” he replied. “But fair. So, do we have any other classes together, or is it just Economics?” He send you a picture of his schedule
“Apparently just Economics, Mondays and Fridays,” you wrote back. “Why? Hoping I’ll help you stay awake in other classes too?”
“Maybe,” he replied, and you could almost hear the grin in his words. “I mean, it’s a solid setup. You get my notes; I get a decent excuse to stay awake. Win-win.”
“Wow, you’re really thinking this through,” you answered, amused.
“Always,” Jay texted back. “Anyway, let me know if you ever need more life-saving notes. I might ask for payment next time, though.”
“Payment?” you replied, raising an eyebrow. “What kind of payment?”
“You’ll see,” was all he said, leaving the conversation hanging with just enough intrigue to keep you curious.
︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶
You spent the rest of the week texting with Jay. Eventually, you followed each other on Instagram—of course, you didn’t tell him you had stalked him. Even though your chats were never particularly deep, you felt surprisingly comfortable talking to him. He mentioned that he and Heeseung had been friends for a year. Speaking of which, Samantha had a date with Heeseung that Thursday.
You were lying on your bed, watching a movie on your laptop, when someone knocked on the door. Samantha hurried out of the bathroom and walked over to you. She was wearing a casual outfit—simple but effortlessly stylish. She had spent nearly an hour deciding what to wear, yet she somehow made it look like she had thrown it together in a minute.
“How do I look?” Samantha murmured, careful to keep her voice low so Heeseung wouldn’t hear.
You paused your movie and playfully scrunched up your nose in mock disapproval, making her look momentarily worried.
“I’m kidding! You look gorgeous. Now go open the door,” you said with a grin, pressing play to continue watching your movie.
She opened the door, and Heeseung greeted her with a warm smile. After they exchanged hellos, Heeseung raised his voice toward you.
“Y/N.”
You paused the movie again and looked at him.
“Jay sent you this,” he said, pulling a sleek, luxurious box from his jacket pocket.
You stood up and walked toward him, noticing that he didn’t step inside your dorm, even though he was talking to you.
You took the box from him. “Thanks. What is it?”
“I dunno, open it,” Heeseung said, looking intrigued.
You opened the box and… wow. You hadn’t expected such a beautiful bracelet. It had a charm that looked like silver. You took it out of the box and slipped it onto your left wrist.
“It looks gorgeous on you!” Samantha said with a smile.
“Giving you that bracelet so soon? Interesting…” Heeseung commented with a teasing tone.
“What’s with the bracelet?” you asked, glancing at him.
“You’ll find out sooner or later,” he said cryptically before turning toward the hallway. “You coming, Sam?”
Samantha closed the door behind her, and just like that, they were gone.
You looked down at the bracelet. You didn’t know why, but you had a bad feeling about this whole situation.
Shaking off the unease, you told yourself it was just a thoughtful gift from a cute guy at college. You texted Jay to thank him for the bracelet, and he replied almost instantly:
“Glad you liked it.”
A few seconds later, another text popped up:
“If you like it, you should wear it all the time. I bet it looks pretty on you.”
︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶
You went to bed early, so you didn’t hear Samantha come back to the dorm.
Friday morning arrived, and you went about your usual routine. Standing in front of your closet, you spent a few minutes debating what to wear—you wanted to look good, confident, and just the right amount of irresistible for Jay.
As you were sifting through your options, Samantha walked in, practically glowing as she started gushing about her date with Heeseung.
“You should wear this shirt; it’ll look great on you,” she said, pulling out a shirt and holding it up for you.
You smiled at her suggestion. “Oh, by the way,” she continued, “Heeseung told me some of his friends are throwing a party tomorrow night. Wanna come? Jay’s gonna be there.”
“Sure, sounds fun,” you said, taking the shirt from her and slipping it on.
After finishing up and checking yourself in the mirror one last time, you headed to Economics class. You sat in the same spot as Monday, settling in and glancing around, but Jay wasn’t there yet. However, a few minutes later he arrived and sat next to you.
“Morning, Y/N, how are you?” he said with a smile on his face. God, he was so handsome.
“Oh, hi, Jay. Fine, you?”
“Same,” he replied casually. His eyes drifted to your wrist, noticing the bracelet he had given you. “It looks pretty on you.”
You tilted your head slightly, a playful smirk on your lips. “Does it look pretty on me, or I look pretty with it?”
Jay chuckled, leaning a little closer. “Maybe both,” he said smoothly, his grin growing wider.
You rolled your eyes as you bit your lower lip. You were going to answer him, but the professor started the class.
The class was proceeding as usual. During it, you could feel Jay glancing at you from time to time.
At one point, Jay leaned closer to your ear and whispered, “Are you going to the party tomorrow?” His voice took you by surprise, and for a moment, it sent a shiver down your spine.
“Yeah, Samantha told me you and Heeseung are going too,” you replied softly.
“That’s right. By the way, my favorite color is black,” he said with a sly smile before turning back to his laptop, thinking the conversation was over. But you weren’t done yet. Leaning closer to his ear, you whispered back:
“My favorite color is red.”
If he wanted you to wear black, he’d have to show up in red. You smirked to yourself and returned to taking notes as if nothing had happened.
The class finally came to an end, just as boring as the first one. You and Jay started putting your things away, still sitting in your chairs.
“So, I have to show up in red if I want to catch your attention, right?” he asked, a playful smile on his face.
“Yeah, and I have to show up in black to catch yours,” you replied, matching his teasing tone.
In that moment, your phone vibrated, so you quickly took it out of your pocket. It was a message from your mom. You unlocked your phone to reply but accidentally dropped it on the floor. You bent down to grab it, but Jay was faster.
“Be careful, if you break it, you won’t receive my texts,” he teased, leaning down to hand your phone back to you.
As you grabbed your phone, your fingers brushed against his. The moment your skin touched his, you felt it—a cold shiver ran through your body, like death itself had brushed past you. It was like darkness wrapped around you for a second. You let out a small gasp, a sound of discomfort you couldn’t hide.
“What happened? Are you okay?” Jay asked, his voice full of concern.
It couldn’t be real. Jay was… a vampire. Your new college crush was a freaking vampire. You’d spent the past week texting him, getting to know him, and now it all felt wrong.
“Ye-yeah… I have to go!” you stammered, your heart racing. Before he could say anything else, you quickly stood up and bolted for the door. You could feel his eyes on you, but you didn’t dare stop. Your mind was spinning, and you needed to get out of there.
In your rush, you didn’t notice Heeseung waiting outside, apparently for Jay. You bumped into him, and… it had to be a joke. Once again, that horrible feeling washed over you. You felt death crawl through your body.
“Watch where you’re…” Heeseung didn’t finish his sentence because this time, you just kept walking, nearly running.
Your heart was pounding, and you could barely catch your breath. So far, you’d met three people, and two of them turned out to be monsters.
In that moment you realize why Jay had the same ring in all of his pictures, it was a daylight ring, it allowed him to walk freely during the day.
What should you do? Go to the party and confront them? Pretend nothing happened? You had so many questions, and then you remembered that Samantha had gone on a date with Heeseung.
You ran back to your dorm and slammed the door open. “Samantha!” you shouted desperately. You shut the door behind you. She was lying on the bed, texting on her phone.
“I’m here! Don’t shout, it’s still early,” she said as she got up. “What happened?”
“Are you okay? Are you hurt?” You bombarded her with questions, scared of what Heeseung might have done to her.
“S-sure. What’s going on? You look like you saw a ghost.” You were pale, sweat running down your cheek from all the running. When she told you she was fine, you let out a sigh of relief.
You sat on your bed, trying to calm yourself down and think clearly about what to do. Right now, you needed to figure out how to get Samantha away from Heeseung without making her ask too many questions.
“Listen to me, you can’t keep seeing Heeseung.”
“What? Why?”
You weren’t great at lying, but you had to come up with something convincing for Sam’s sake.
“I heard he has a girlfriend. Seems like he’s cheating on her with multiple girls…” you saw how her expression changed form confusion and worry to fury.
“What?! That son of…”
She grabbed the pillow from her bed and threw it against the wall in frustration. She started yelling in anger, saying things you didn’t think a girl like her would ever say.
“You know what? We’re going to that party. I’m wearing the shortest dress I have, and I’m going to ignore him the whole night while he drools over me.”
“I don’t think going to the party is a good…” you were cut off by Samantha.
“We’re going, and that’s final!”
︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶
You were sitting in the Uber with Samantha next to you, heading to the party. Jay had sent you a few messages since Friday’s class, but you didn’t even bother to open them.
As you looked out the car window, you got lost in your thoughts. Your grandma always told you that vampires were monsters—after all, they feed on innocent people. They could wipe out an entire town just for fun if they wanted to. Vampires are murderers.
But Jay seemed like a good person. He hadn’t done anything to hurt you. In fact, he even gave you a bracelet, which you were wearing at that moment. If Jay were truly evil, he would have attacked you by now. You had held onto that thought for the past two days.
Was it possible that good vampires existed? Vampires who didn’t kill? You were desperately trying to convince yourself that Jay wasn’t like the others. But that didn’t change the fact that he fed on people, probably killing them in the process.
Samantha was wearing a short red dress, while you had opted for a dark blue one. Of course, you weren’t going to wear black. You planned to ignore Jay the whole night and mind your own business.
When you arrived, you stepped out of the car and were greeted by the sight of a mansion packed with people. It was massive, with at least three floors. A few people were smoking and drinking on the porch. As you approached the entrance, the music grew louder and louder.
Once inside, you scanned the room for Jay. You needed to know where he was so you could avoid him. It didn’t take long to spot him—he had a beer in his hand and was chatting with a group of guys. He was wearing a red shirt, and it suited him almost too well. You recognized Heeseung among the group, also holding a beer.
At that moment, you and Jay locked eyes. Your heart skipped a beat, and you quickly looked away. “Let’s go get some drinks,” you said to Samantha, grabbing her arm.
You both headed toward what seemed to be the kitchen. Jay looked confused. Everything had been fine until Friday morning, but now you were ignoring him. He needed answers.
An hour later, you and Samantha were drinking jungle juice while dancing in the yard. The weather was nice, and the yard wasn’t as crowded as the house, making it the perfect spot. You were slightly worried about Samantha. You’d only had two glasses, but you’d lost count of hers after four. She seemed fine, though—at least, until she opened her mouth.
“I want to talk to Heeseung,” she said loudly so you could hear her over the music. “He deserves to be embarrassed in public. He’s an asshole.”
“Sam, don’t waste your precious time on him. He’s not worth it,” you said, praying she wouldn’t do anything stupid.
She sighed. “You’re right…”
Eventually, you needed to use the bathroom—you’d drunk too much. Samantha followed you back into the house to look for it. You asked a random guy for directions, and he pointed you upstairs.
As you were walking, you felt someone staring at you. Turning your head, you saw Jay watching you intently. He raised his hand to wave, but you quickly avoided his gaze again.
“I’ll wait outside to make sure no one comes in,” Samantha said as you entered the bathroom.
You peed quickly and washed your hands. Looking at yourself in the mirror, you noticed your makeup was still intact. You weren’t drunk, just in a “happier” mood.
Your phone vibrated as you were about to leave. It was a text from Jay: “Is everything okay?” You read the notification but didn’t open it. Instead, you deleted it.
When you stepped out, Samantha was nowhere to be found. She was way too drunk to be wandering around alone. You quickly texted her, “Where are you?” You hadn’t been gone long, so she couldn’t be far.
You began searching for her while waiting for a reply. After ten minutes of looking with no luck, you glanced in Jay’s direction, hoping Heeseung was still with him. But of course, he wasn’t.
If you were worried before, now you were terrified. What if Samantha was alone with Heeseung? You didn’t even want to think about it. You started asking people if they’d seen her, growing more desperate by the second.
“Y/N,” a familiar voice called from behind. You turned to see Jay. You didn’t want to talk to him, but he might be your only chance of finding Samantha.
“Are you done avoiding me?” he asked, stepping closer.
You moved toward him, now standing just inches apart. Looking directly into his eyes, you said, “Where is Samantha?!” Your tone was sharp, almost yelling.
Jay was taken aback. He’d been expecting an explanation for your behavior, not you screaming at him about your friend.
“Tell me where the fuck Heeseung took her, or I’ll drive a stake into your heart,” you spat.
His expression shifted to one of shock and confusion. Did he hear you right? How could you possibly know what he was? Then it clicked—this must be why you’d been avoiding him. Jay didn’t know how you’d figured it out, but he wanted to help.
“I think he took her to the last room upstairs. Seung always takes girls there,” Jay finally said, still stunned. “But don’t worry—he’s not going to hurt her.”
“I highly doubt that,” you muttered before turning and heading for the stairs. The second floor was much quieter than the first. The long hallway ahead was almost empty. Desperate, you sprinted to the last door.
It was locked.
Looking around to make sure no one was watching, you sighed. If you wanted to help Samantha, you had no choice but to use your magic. Placing a hand on the door, you concentrated.
“Dissera portus.”
You heard the lock click open and pushed the door without hesitation.
What you saw inside was horrifying. Heeseung had Samantha pinned against the wall, drinking blood straight from her neck. She wasn’t moving or making a sound—he must have compelled her.
“Let her go!” you screamed.
Heeseung stopped and turned to look at you, intrigued. “How did you get in? I’m sure I locked the door.” He wiped the blood from his lips with his sleeve, completely unbothered by what he was doing.
You glared at him, rage boiling in your veins. “Let. Her. Go.”
He laughed at your words. "Here's the thing. I'd compel you to forget this ever happened, but Jay gave you that." He pointed at your bracelet. "So this is what we're gonna do: I'll give you five seconds to turn around, leave, and find Jay.
"Or what?" you asked in a challenging tone.
"I'm gonna kill you," he said like it was nothing.
He raised his hand and began counting.
With each number, he lowered a finger. "One, two, thr-"
He didn't finish. You were already casting a stern gaze at him, using the Pain Infliction spell, one of the first spells you learned. It wasn't verbal but still powerful, causing his blood vessels to burst and inflicting unbearable pain.
Heeseung screamed, clutching his head as if it would split open. "Fuck!" he yelled, falling to the floor and writhing in agony.
Samantha stood frozen, tears streaming down her face, utterly speechless. She didn't know what was happening-only that she wanted to leave.
"You shouldn't have messed with one of my friends, Heeseung," you said, stepping closer without breaking your concentration. "Burn in hell, vampire. Incendia!"
Flames ignited at his feet and rapidly climbed his legs. He frantically patted at the fire, but his efforts were useless.
"Stop!" Jay's voice cut through the chaos. He appeared behind you in an instant, his speed unmatched. "Please... He's out of control, but I can help him."
"He's a vampire," you spat. "He won't stop killing as long as he's alive. He has to die."
Jay realized words wouldn't sway you.
He looked at you, then at his friend, who was still thrashing on the ground. The fire had reached Heeseung's hips, and his screams were becoming weaker.
"I hope this works," Jay muttered to himself before using his speed to move to Heeseung. In one swift motion, he grabbed his friend's head with both hands and snapped his neck.
You froze. You knew snapping his neck wouldn't truly kill him-he'd recover within hours.
"Wha-"
"I'll make sure he's punished for hurting your friend," Jay said, turning to you, desperation etched on his face. "But please... don't kill him."
What were you supposed to do? Stop the spell and trust Jay? Attack him the same way you attacked Heeseung?
You looked at Jay, searching his eyes for answers. Something about him made you pause. Against your better judgment, you felt you could trust him.
Raising your right hand toward Heeseung, you whispered, "Suctus Incendia." The flames disappeared instantly.
"Thank you," Jay said softly.
You didn’t answer him. You ran to Samantha and hugged her. Her cry became louder as she left tears in your shoulder. You to patted her head hoping it would help her calm down.
“I… I can help you” Jay said as he approached to you. He rolled up his sleeves and bit his own wrist. “You’ll heal faster if you drink my blood”
You broke the hug and Samantha looked at you, waiting for your approval. You nodded your head and Jay leaned his hand, Samantha drank the blood from his wrist and in a matter of seconds, the bite mark Heeseung left in her neck disappeared.
After that you both headed to the exit. “Thank you, Jay” you said before closing the door of the bedroom.
————————-
You practically had to drag Samantha to her bed since she was in a total state of shock. Once she was lying down, you went to her closet, took out her pajamas, and handed them to her. After that, you gave her a glass of water.
“How are you feeling?” you asked as you sat at the edge of the bed, near her feet, which were covered by the sheets.
“I—I don’t know…” she stammered, her voice shaky. “I’m afraid, I—I’m confused.” She sighed deeply, her eyes welling with tears. “Vampires exist… Heeseung and Jay were vampires, and… and you…” She looked at you with a mix of fear and curiosity. “What are you exactly?”
“I’m… a witch,” you admitted, trying to give her a reassuring smile. “I don’t use my magic to hurt people.” You reached out and gently held her hand. “You’re safe with me, I promise.”
Sam took a small sip of water, her trembling hands barely steady enough to hold the glass. The room fell silent for a few minutes. Neither of you knew what to say or do.
Samantha sat there, gripping the glass of water so tightly her knuckles turned white. Her breathing grew uneven, and you could see the weight of everything she had just witnessed crashing down on her.
“I… I could have died,” she whispered, her voice trembling. Her words were barely audible, but the fear laced in them was undeniable. She placed the glass shakily on the nightstand and pulled her knees up to her chest, hugging them tightly. “Heeseung—he could have killed me. If you weren’t there…” Her voice cracked as she trailed off.
You stayed quiet, allowing her to let it out.
“And Jay… he didn’t even care. He was protecting that monster! What if they come back? What if more of them come after me?” Samantha’s breathing quickened, and her hands started shaking. “I’m not safe. Vampires exist, and God knows what else! Demons? Werewolves? What if this is just the beginning?”
She buried her face in her hands, trying to muffle the soft, panicked sobs that began escaping her.
“Samantha…” you said gently, moving closer.
“I’m just human,” she continued, her voice muffled. “I can’t do anything. I’m not strong like you, I don’t have magic to protect myself… I don’t even know how to fight!” She looked up at you, her face pale and tear-streaked. “How do I live like this? How do I go back to normal knowing there are monsters out there?”
You felt your heart sink. Samantha’s words cut through you, and you realized the full weight of what she was saying. This knowledge, this world she was pulled into, was tearing her apart.
You reached out and placed a hand on her shoulder. “Sam,” you said softly, your voice steady. “You don’t have to worry. I will protect you.”
She shook her head. “You can’t always be there, Y/N. And what happens next time? Or the time after that?” Her voice cracked again. “I don’t want to live in fear.”
You didn’t know what to say. For the first time, you realized that the truth—the world you lived in—was too much for her. It wasn’t fair to expect her to carry this burden.
You took a deep breath, your decision forming in the silence. There was a way to help her, to give her back the peace she so desperately needed. But it wasn’t a choice you made lightly.
Samantha sniffled, wiping her face with her sleeve. “I trust you, Y/N. I do. But this… this is too much for me.”
“I know,” you said softly. Your voice wavered, but you kept going. “I can fix this, Sam. I can make it so you don’t have to feel this way anymore. So you can be free from this.”
She blinked, confused. “What do you mean?”
You hesitated, guilt already weighing on your chest. “I know someone who can make you forget this ever happened,” you said softly. “But before I call him, I need to know if you’re okay with it. Are you in?”
Samantha stared at her hands, her voice trembling. “Forget? Like… completely? Everything about tonight?”
You nodded. “Yes. All of it. But only if you want to.”
She took a shaky breath and looked up at you, her eyes glistening with unshed tears. “Call him, please.”
You gave her a reassuring nod, though the knot in your stomach tightened. Pulling out your phone, you quickly dialed the number of the one person who could help.
As you waited for him to answer the call, you walked to the bathroom and closed the door behind you. He didn’t keep you waiting for long.
“Y/N! I was just about to—”
“Jay, I need your help,” you interrupted, keeping your voice low so Samantha wouldn’t hear his name. You knew it would terrify her.
“S-Sure, what happened?”
“I need you to compel Samantha. Make her forget about tonight. Can… can you do that?”
There was a brief pause on the other end before he responded. “I’m on my way. I’ll be there in fifteen minutes.”
“Okay, thanks,” you murmured, ending the call. You took a moment to collect yourself before stepping out of the bathroom and back into the room.
“He’s coming,” you said gently to Samantha as you sat beside her. “He’ll be here soon.”
A few minutes later, Samantha went to the bathroom. For the first time that night, you had a moment to yourself, a moment to think. You sighed deeply, tilting your head back to stare at the ceiling.
Jay… Tonight, he showed you he’s not like other vampires. He could’ve attacked you from behind to save his friend, but instead, he tried to reason with you and even healed Samantha.
Your gaze shifted to the bracelet on your wrist. Heeseung had said he couldn’t compel you because of it. You figured it must contain vervain—the only thing that makes humans immune to compulsion. But you were a witch; compulsion didn’t work on witches, so you didn’t really need it.
A knock at the door pulled you from your thoughts. It must be Jay. Samantha was still in the bathroom. You stood up and went to open it. Sure enough, when you did, there he was.
“Hi… again,” Jay said, his voice soft, almost shy.
“Hello, Jay,” you replied briskly.
For a few moments, the two of you stood in silence, staring at each other. Then, he offered you a small, shy smile, his lips pressed together.
“Uhm… could you invite me in?” he asked hesitantly.
You’d forgotten—you needed to invite vampires into a private space before they could enter. You hesitated, knowing that once invited, Jay could come and go as he pleased. He could kill you while you were asleep. Or even right now, the moment you let him in.
But… you trusted him.
“Come on in, Jay.”
“Thanks,” he said, stepping across the threshold.
At that moment, Samantha came out of the bathroom, she froze when she saw Jay, fear flashing in her eyes. She clutched the bathroom doorframe, her voice shaky. “Y/N… w-why is he here?”
You quickly stepped toward her. “Sam, it’s okay. He’s not here to hurt you. I promise.”
Her eyes darted to Jay, who raised his hands in a gesture of peace. “I understand you’re scared,” Jay said gently. “But I’m here to help, not hurt you.”
“He healed you earlier,” you reminded her firmly. “If it weren’t for him, you wouldn’t even be standing. Trust me, Sam. He’s not like Heeseung.”
Samantha hesitated, glancing between you and Jay, before finally nodding. “Okay… I’ll try.”
You guided her to sit on the couch. “This will all be over soon, I promise.”
You took off your bracelet and placed it on the table next to the couch. Jay’s eyes followed the movement, and for a brief moment, you noticed a flicker of hurt in his expression.
“Please compel her to never take off the bracelet,” you said softly.
Jay nodded, sitting down next to Samantha. He looked her directly in the eyes, his voice calm and steady. “You won’t remember anything from tonight. You decided to stay home and watch a movie. You’ll put on the bracelet and never take it off, no matter what. After that, you’ll go to bed and sleep peacefully.”
A few seconds later, Samantha picked up the bracelet, slipped it onto her wrist, and walked to her bed, falling asleep almost immediately.
“Thank you… it means a lot” you said
“Don’t thank me. It was the least I could do after what Heeseung did to her.” Jay paused, running a hand through his hair. “But… it wasn’t entirely his fault.” He sighed deeply. “He was turned into a vampire a few weeks ago. At first, he was doing fine. I taught him how to resist the urges, how to survive on blood bags without hurting anyone. But… last week, his father died.” His voice softened. “He couldn’t handle the pain of losing him, so he flipped his humanity switch. He thought shutting off his emotions would be better than feeling the grief.”
As Jay spoke, his sadness was palpable. It was strange seeing a vampire care so deeply about someone else, about doing the right thing. It challenged everything you thought you knew about them.
“Heeseung isn’t evil,” Jay continued. “Not really. Vampires… we’re not all monsters. Some of us try to be better.” He hesitated, looking at you as if to gauge your reaction. “I don’t feed on humans. Blood bags are enough for me. I made that choice a long time ago.”
Hearing that caught you off guard. For so long, vampires had been nothing but a danger to you and the people you cared about. But Jay… he wasn’t like the others. He didn’t embrace the darkness that came with his nature. Instead, he fought it. And that, more than anything, made you feel something stir inside you.
Jay and you stepped out into the aisle just outside your dorm. The cool night air brushed past as you faced each other in silence. You carefully closed the door behind you, making sure not to make any noise that could wake Samantha.
“You didn’t have to come tonight,” you said quietly. “You could’ve just… stayed out of it.”
He smiled faintly, almost shyly. “I couldn’t let Samantha suffer for something she didn’t deserve. And I couldn’t let you deal with it alone.”
Your heart softened at his words, though you refused to let it show too much. “You’re… not what I expected,” you admitted, your voice barely above a whisper.
“Neither are you, Hermione Granger,” he teased, a playful smirk tugging at his lips.
You chuckled, shaking your head. “Oh, shut up, Edward Cullen.”
Jay laughed, the sound warm and genuine. “Touché.”
There was a brief pause, comfortable yet charged with unspoken feelings. He tilted his head slightly and gave you a crooked smile. “So… I have to ask, after tonight… are you going to keep ghosting me, or are you finally going to answer my texts?”
You let out another soft chuckle, raising an eyebrow at him. “I don’t know… texting is kind of boring. When are you going to ask me out already?”
His smirk widened, and for a moment, he looked caught off guard, but not in a bad way. “Guess I’ll have to fix that soon, huh?”
“You’d better,” you said lightly, though your heart raced at the prospect.
Jay’s eyes softened as he looked at you, his usual confidence tempered with something gentler. “I will,” he promised, his tone quiet but resolute.
Jay nodded, his playful smirk still lingering. “Well, I guess I should let you get some sleep,” he said, glancing at the door behind you.
“Yeah, it’s been… a night,” you replied, the weight of everything settling in.
He took a step back, his expression softening just slightly. “Take care of yourself,” he said, his voice quieter now.
You gave him a small nod. “I will. Thanks, Jay.”
He flashed you one last smile. “Goodnight, Hermione,” he teased, his voice low and light.
“Goodnight, Edward,” you replied, the corner of your lips lifting as you shook your head.
Jay turned and walked away, his silhouette disappearing down the quiet street. You stayed there for a moment longer, watching him leave, before turning back toward your dorm, feeling the lingering energy of the night slowly fading into the quiet.

First Date- [MUTI! BLLK X F!READER]

[ BLLK Scenario Masterlist ]
TW: heavy ooc, bad grammar, bad spelling, bad formatting, cringe, scuff, etc.
>Otoya
[Mall outing]
You stared at the time on your phone, it read 11:59pm. You two were supposed to meet up 29 minutes ago.
You sighed and shook your head, you couldn’t say you were surprised, but still. You assumed Otoya had some human decency in him. So you told yourself you’d wait 30 minutes. If he still didn’t show, then maybe you’d give Karasu a call and see if he was busy…
You looked back at your phone, 11:59 turning into 12:00.
You mentally facepalmed for ever thinking Otoya would actually show and got ready to leave.
Just then, you heard you name getting screamed across the mall from behind you
“[Y/N]!” Otoya collapsed on to your back, trying to catch his breath, “Sorry I’m-... A bit late-”
You gave him a judgmental look while pushing him lightly off you “A bit?? Where were you!? I waited for 30 minutes!!”
“Yea about that..” he laughed awkwardly while brushing himself off “I forgot…”
You glared at him, slightly pissed. “Why did I ever agree to this…” you rubbed your temples “Should’ve gone out with Karasu instead..” you mumbled the last part before composing yourself
“So- wanna grab some food? I’m kinda hungry…” he asked you while eyeing another women. What a great start to your first date.
You calmed yourself before agreeing, and the two of you made your way to the food court.
You were quite hungry as well, waiting for Otoya took much longer than you would’ve thought. So the two of you stood at the Churro stand while browsing the menu.
“Let me pay” Otoya offered with a smirk “As an apology for being late.”
You gave him a skeptical nod, “... You brought your wallet- right?”
His face froze for a second, before he started digging through his pockets.
Your eye twitched as you placed your order (and Otoya’s bc he always get the same thing) and pulled out your card to pay
But before you could tap, Otoya did instead, and the payment went through (surprisingly)
You gave him an amused smile as he gave a smug one (more to himself than you) seeming proud to have found his wallet
“Great job so far Eita.” He thought to himself, “10/10 date, I’m sure she’s in absolute amazement at my rizz.”
He took the Churros from the worker with a wink and handed you yours. Otoya smiled before taking a bite of his, “So, where’d you like to go?”
“Hm… there’s a new clothing shop nearby… how bout we check it out?”
Otoya nodded before following you closely, soon entering the store.
He helped you pick a few outfits out, and surprisingly, he knew exactly what you were comfortable in and what you looked good in. He even carried the bags for you after!
You two wandered around a bit more, stopping by whatever shops you felt like. He won a few claw machine games for you, and even hit on the cashier for a free donut(also for you-)!
As your date slowly came to an end, he made a short but proper apology for being late, and offered to walk you to the station.
Before you hopped on the train, you gave him a quick kiss and a wave, heading off
He’d never admit it, but he was blushing for the next 20min XD
>Karasu
[Seasonal Festival]
You looked at the map on your phone as you followed the path to your destination. He had invited you to the annual Lantern Rite, and you’ve never been before so you figured you should get there early/while it wasn’t entirely dark yet.
“Should be around here…” you mumbled, seeing that you're in the right area on the map- before bumping slightly into someone.
“Hey, thought you’d be here early.” Karasu laughed, seeing your surprised expression
“I- yea…” you were a bit flustered to be caught
Karasu laughed even more, and you just glared at him as he did so. “Sorry sorry- *wheeze* I’m fine now” he gave you a smile before reaching out his hand, “Here, let me hold your things for you.” he took the bag off your shoulders and carried it before intertwining your fingers with his, “You ready to go?”
He took you around the festival while commenting, “This year’s theme is Kites, have you flown one before?” He turn to look at you, still holding your hand
You thought for a second before responding, “When I was younger, yes. But it’s been a while.”
Karasu gave you a smug smirk, “Well, I’m basically a pro. Here, let’s try.”
He guided you to the dock selling kites before looking around. He was about to get one before realizing that it was the most popular. Then he worried about looking mediocre in front of you and decided against it, only to get it in the end because ‘it’s the best one there’.
He hoped that you didn’t see him argue with himself as he walked over to where you were looking. It was the child's section.
“Karasu look! This one’s a crow!” You showed him the kite you picked with a smile
He tried to keep in a laugh “Cute, I mean, if you like it.”
The boy paid before following you out to fly. The scenery was beautiful, kites everywhere, lanterns lighting up the festival, and the quiet chitter-chatter of the bystanders on the lower floors. And yet his eyes could only focus on you.
You unwrapped the string of your kite, standing at the edge of the wooden flooring while Karasu leaned on the edge of the railing, watching you with a smile.
As you finished setting up, you looked at him with an amused expression, “So, you gonna do yours too? Or just watch me?”
He was snapped out of his trance before turning his back against you to hide his red face and starting unwrapping his kite too
The two of you got ready to fly them, Karasu did a little countdown. “3, 2, 1!”
You both let go of your kites as you watched them soar, your’s immediately going higher than his. The two kites looked so pretty flying above the ocean water, you watched them in awe.
Karasu was a bit salty that yours was higher than his, but seeing the smile on your face made it worth it. Still, he thought he was a bit mediocre because he couldn’t show off to you.
The two of you made small talk as you watched the kites and he watched you also your kite
“You look really beautiful, you know?” Karasu suddenly blurted out, trying to keep his smile as calm as possible
You struggled to form a sentence for a second, but then whispered out a “Thank you” (his face was redder than yours LOL)
After you pulled your kite back in, the two of you set off to wander the festival a bit more. Karasu bought you some tanghulu and sparklers (those sticks you wave around?)
As the day came to an end, he offered to bring you home as it was dark out. The two of you walked hand in hand as he delivered you home.
“Thank you for joining me today, [Y/N].” he thanked you with a smile
“Of course, thank you for taking me out.” you gave him a quick kiss before heading inside your house “Safe trip home!”
He nodded before smiling to himself, internally freaking out over the small action. This Lantern Rite was his favourite, and probably will be for many years to come.
>Reo
[Art museum]
You entered the wide doors of the art exhibit, carefully surveying your surroundings, well aware that some of the “art” here cost more than your life (even if it’s just a canvas that looks like it’s been pissed on)
“My my, who knew that art could be so hot? Maybe I should pin you to a wall” you looked Reo up and down, jokingly flirting
He turned around and frowned, before rolling his eyes with an amused smile “Hello to you too. I was just looking at this actual piece of art.” He turned back around to an empty glass on display
“...” You looked at the piece, then back at him, “Is that an Ikea cup-”
“It’s art. Don’t think too much of it.” he took your hand and dragged you away “shh, the owner gave us-well, me- early entry tickets, that’s the whole reason why we’re here. And he’s literally watching us.” he whispered to you under his breath, bringing you to the next room.
You composed yourself and tried to act as sophisticated as Reo (though you wondered how he kept a straight face). There were a few people gathered around this piece, you wondered what could cause such an attraction. You were about to push your way through before Reo brought you around the few people instead.
Once you saw it, your eyes shot open and you tried to hold down a laugh. But that back-fired horribly and you started choking.
Reo hits you lightly on the back, not to help you stop choking, but to tell you to compose yourself. Though he himself was having a hard time not breaking down in front of the art and all the rich people staring at them
You cleared your throat, and stood up straight (A/N: YOU TOO READER- I SEE YOU AND YOUR SHRIMP POSTURE) “Ah yes, what a wonderful piece of… art.” you scrunch your face at the art in question on display
It was a simple stone carving, not having many surfaces, giving it a geometric look. The edges were smooth, clearly being cut carefully, the piece looking much like… a ‘rocket ship’.
“The rock must be… very hard” You gave a weak smile, trying not to laugh
This time Reo was the one to break, even if it were just for a second. He quickly stifled the laugh though, but you felt a bit of pride in getting him to break.
“Hey, this rock must get wet pretty often, huh?” you nudged Reo lightly.
You were speaking fairly quietly to only be heard by him, but someone else seemed to have heard you.
“Yes, you are quite right.” an older man approached you, “This is one of my best pieces, made from a special rock that comes from the sea. The natural wetness made it a wonderful material to work with!!” he gave a gleeful smile
“You don’t say? It looks beautiful, the shape is amazing, so much thought must’ve gone into it!” you doubled down and returned a smile, matching him in enthusiasm.
He nodded, very excited “Yes yes! Finally, a true art connoisseur! I’ll tell you what, I’ve carved a smaller version of this piece, it is available in the gift shop if you ask.” he quickly scribbled down a note and handed it to you “Just give them this and they’ll let you buy it” he gave you a quick wink before going back to assisting the other people there
You turned to Reo with a smile, and he was trying his hardest to keep a laugh in. His face turned slightly red from doing so. He let out a quiet wheeze followed by the quietest laugh. You covered your mouth and did the same, very amused at the recent interaction. It took Reo a good few minutes to recover, you had to drag him away from the room to not offend the artist.
You quickly walked past the other exhibits before reaching a small isolated locker area. Reo immediately lost it, he fell to his knees, laughing his ass off “OMG YOU DID NOT JUST DO THAT LMAOOOOO” his laughs echoed through the small corridor, soon followed by yours. The two of you couldn’t believe what just happened, you were impressed with your quick thinking. After the two of you had a good laugh, you helped him off the floor “Did you want to go back to look at the other exhibits?”
“Nah not really” he brushed himself off, “Did you want to go to the gift shop and pick up your carving?”
You grinned and made your way over to the store. Reo held the door open for you as you entered, looking around.
“Damn…” it quickly hit you that the things in here were all very expensive.
Reo walked up to the cashier with a small wave, he gestured for you to come over as well. You pulled out the slip of paper and handed it to the worker who read through it quickly and nodded before disappearing into the back.
“So, how much do you think it is?” Reo asked you while leaning on the counter
You shrugged “I dunno, like $200?” You’ve never gone to an art museum before and it showed
Reo gave you a questioning smile “Really? Just $200?”
“Fine, how much do you think it is!?”
“Like $50k+” Reo laughed, but he seemed serious
The worker came back out with the miniature carving, placing it carefully on the table. “That’ll be $52k” she smiled at him.
Reo smiled back before pulling out a cheque and filling it out quickly before slipping it to them
You, on the other hand, were flabbergasted. $52k for a rock?? You couldn’t even begin to comprehend that.
Reo took the bag from the worker and handed it to you, “Take good care of it okay?”
You held the item carefully, “Thank you, Reo… This is a lot tho-”
He waved it off “It’s nothing, really. Barely make a dent in my account.”
You gave him a hug and he laughed, “Is that all?”
You looked up at him questioningly. He pointed at his lips with a smirk
You rolled your eyes before leaning in and giving him a quick kiss. But before you could pull away, he held you by your waist and pulled you back in for another.
“Mm, much better.” he smiled, still not letting go of you “I’d say that was well worth $52k”
You pushed yourself off playfully, “Whatever you say, rich boy.”
Reo laughed, “Let’s get you home, love.”

Summary: Eren gets drunk and leaves a voicemail.
Author’s Note: Hi anon! Thanks for this request! I went in a little different direction for this one. This is inspired by this soundgasm (listener discretion is advised). Seriously, listen to it, you will not regret it. Anyways, hope you like this one!
Tumblr media
Eren stumbles in through the door of his apartment late Friday night. Armin just dropped him off, playing the role of designated driver tonight. They spent the last few hours barhopping, Eren consuming enough alcohol for both of them. To say he’s drunk would be an understatement. Right now, he’s plastered. And that’s probably what leads him to what he does next.
After messily chugging a glass of water, he collapses onto his couch, reaching into his pocket for his phone. Instagram is already open; he clicks on it, glaring at the now familiar photo surrounding the screen. It’s a selfie you posted a few hours ago of you and your new boyfriend, beaming at the camera, the caption reading Date night!
He huffs, swiping out of the app to access his Favorites. He stares at your contact listed amongst your friends, the crown emoji right next to your name. It’s an inside joke between you two; you’re his “princess”.
Tapping at the phone, he holds it to his ear, starting. “Hey. It’s me. You’re probably wondering why I’m calling you. To be honest, I’m pretty faded right now.” He giggles, scratching his tummy. “So whatever I’m about to say, blame it on the alcohol.”
He hesitates, taking a deep breath. “Anyways, I saw your pic tonight. The one of you and your new boyfriend.” He pauses to swallow, that last word leaving a bitter aftertaste on his tongue. “I guess you’re officially off the market now. Congrats.”
He twirls a strand of his hair around his finger. “You look really good in that picture, by the way. That dress you’re wearing is one of my favorites because…” he snickers to himself, recalling that specific memory. “Well, you know.”
You wore that same dress the night you and Eren started sleeping together. The two of you got drunk at Mikasa’s birthday party, and you admitted to him how you haven’t had sex in months. He volunteered to change that for you, as long as the two of you only remain friends. At the time, Eren hated the thought of being in some sort of committed relationship. The furthest he was willing to go was friends with benefits, and that’s what the two of you became.
“I bet your new boyfriend doesn’t know how good I fucked you in that dress.” He sucks in a breath, cock throbbing in his pants, face flushed as he speaks. “Is he a better fuck than me? I bet he isn’t. You always go so crazy when I’m inside you.” He palms his erection, squeezing the phone closer to his ear. “Remember when you squirted all over my fucking face that one time? Had that clit swollen and raw on my tongue, that was fucking amazing.” Giggling again, he unzips his pants, sliding his jeans and briefs off, wrapping his fingers around his shaft.
“I’m sorry I’m like this. I just saw that picture of you tonight and I got so…” he doesn’t finish the rest of the statement. Instead, he strokes his cock, imagining you riding him on the couch the way you do. Slow and sensual at first, rocking your hips on his lap. Gradually picking up the pace, bouncing on his cock, thrusting your ass against him, warm mouth moaning into his ear. That’s his favorite; the couple of seconds right before you come, how high pitched your whimpers get, especially as you breathe out his name. The way you unravel around him, melt into his body, a perfect fit in his arms.
He pumps his cock fast in his fist, coming quick to the thought of you. Tissues in hand, wiping up his mess, he sighs into the phone. Voice trembling, he asks, “Do you still think about me? I know we kinda stopped hooking up once you met…whatever his name is. And I know we were never exclusive or whatever, but…” He gulps loudly, nervous for what he’s about to admit. “I miss you.”
This is what he wanted. What he asked for. Friends with benefits, no strings attached. He made that clear from the beginning, and you agreed to it, no problem. When did it all start to get so muddled? Was it when he realized being with you was way more fun than being with his friends? Being alone?
He remembers that night on the balcony. It was his birthday, and he was having a small gathering at his place. The two of you went outside for some air and alone time. It was a normal conversation, but somewhere in the middle, you said something that stuck with him. I hope you’re happy.
He clicks his tongue, deciding to let it all out. “It should be us, y’know. You and me. Not you and him. It’s my own fault it didn’t end up this way. I was too much of a fucking coward to tell you I love you. Too much of a coward to admit it to myself.”
“Anyways, it doesn’t matter anymore since you’re with somebody else now. I don’t want you to listen to this and feel sorry for me. It’s not your fault at all, and I’ll be okay. I just wanted you to know how I feel about you. And if he ever breaks your heart or hurts you in any way, don’t hesitate to call me. I’ll fucking kick his ass if you want me to. I’ll always be here for you.”
After another deep breath, he ends the call with his parting words. “I hope you’re happy, princess. I really do.”
He takes his phone away from his ear, staring at the screen, still stuck on his Favorites list. He checks the call log and notices that the call never even went through. With a heavy sigh, both relieved and disappointed, he sets his phone down on the coffee table, leaving it as he shuffles towards his bedroom, shutting the door behind him.

Santa Looks Familiar
So, I thought of this while on my drive home yesterday from work. I decided it was finally time to listen to Christmas music willingly and so I put on my playlist, appropriately named tis the season bitches, and I forgot I had Santa Looked A Lot Like Daddy (Travis Tritt version courtesy of my mother) on it and this came to be.
I just couldn't think of who I wanted it to be so I made it as vague as possible so you can imagine whoever you wanted it to be. Sports player, video game character, movie character, whoever. I'm just going to add some tags so this can make it's rounds.
Happy Holidays folks.
synopsis: your daughter notices that Santa looks kind of familiar. Almost kind of like daddy?
warnings: none except probably grammar/spelling, and one mention of beer
word count: 1,075
~~~
“Asher, wake up, wake up.” The young boy groaned, flipping onto his side as he pulled the blanket up higher. “Asher, come on. Santa’s here.”
Asher’s eyes shot open as he sat up, “really?” He asked his older sister and she nodded, putting a finger to her lips.
“We gotta be really quiet though.” She whispered before motioning for her little brother to follow her.
The two of them creeped out of the bedroom and into the hallway, keeping low as the peeked through the banister, looking down into the living room as the man in the red suit put the last of the gifts under the tree, standing up afterwards.
“That’s the last of them,” the siblings heard him say and Lily furrowed her eyebrows.
The voice sounded familiar to her, but she shook her head.
How many times had she thought she heard their mother’s voice, but it turned out to be a complete stranger?
“Look, Lily. He’s going for the cookies.” Asher nudged her and she watched as he reached over, snagging a couple of the cookies, taking a bite of one.
“And what do you think you’re doing?”
The two trained their eyes on their mother who was walking over to Santa before stopping in front of him, hands on her hip.
“Santa tax,” he shrugged before holding a cookie out to her, “you really outdid yourself on these. They’re amazing. Here, open up.”
Their mother rolled her eyes before opening her mouth, the kids' eyes widening as Santa popped the cookie into her mouth before his arms snaked around her waist pulling her close.
“Uh oh. He better be careful or daddy’s going to beat him up,” Asher whispered to Lily and Lily squinted at the two.
She watched the two adults for another minute before grabbing her little brother's arm.
“Come on. Let's go before they catch us.” She whispered, softly tugging him back to his bedroom.
She tucked Asher back into bed, saying good night before shutting the door until it was only open a crack.
She glanced between her room and the stairs before heading towards the stairs, going down them as quietly as she could.
She didn’t see her mother, but she did see Santa, his back turned to her as he drank the milk.
The little girl cleared her throat and the man in the red suit froze, swallowing the milk in his mouth before turning towards her.
“Well, if it isn’t miss Lily. What are you doing up and out of bed?” he questioned before leaning down, dropping his voice to a whisper, “you know, I take away presents from kids who aren’t in bed when I come right?”
Lily stared into his eyes, the eyes that seemed oh so familiar with the same twinkle and color.
“Daddy, is that you?”
Santa raised an eyebrow, “now why would you think I’m your father?”
“Well, you sound like him, and your eyes are the same,” she started.
“A lot of people share the same eyes and voice as your dad.” He shrugged and she cocked her head.
“And you’re not fat.” Lily was blunt with her words.
“That’s not a very nice thing to say, Lily May.”
“And you know my middle name. No one knows my middle name except mom and dad.” She stated matter-of-factly and he narrowed his eyes.
“I’m Santa. I know everyone’s middle name. I know your middle name and Asher’s. I even know your parents' middle names.”
“If you’re not dad, then why did you hug mom?”
Santa waited a second before responding, “because all your dad wanted for Christmas was for your mom to make sure she was very loved and in order for that to happen, I had to hug her very tight so she could feel the love from you guys.”
Lily blinked at him, “really?”
Santa nodded, “yep. There’s no way to wrap love up and just hand it to someone. You have to give it to them through hugs.”
“Oh,” Lily said, her eyes casting downwards before she turned them back towards Santa, “I’m sorry for getting out of bed and eavesdropping but between us,” she leaned in close, “my dad would’ve hurt you if he saw you hugging mom like that. He’s very protective of his family so I was just looking out for you.” She whispered.
“Ah I see,” he smiled before reaching behind him and grabbing a cookie from the plate, handing it to her, “well, since you were looking out for me, I think I can overlook yoy being out of bed this one time.” He told her with a wink, and she grinned, nodding her head as she took the cookie from him and turned back towards the stairs.
“Merry Christmas Santa.” She told him before heading back to her bedroom.
“Merry Christmas Lily.”
**
Your eyes moved from your book to your husband as he came into the bedroom, removing the fake beard and hat.
“Did you enjoy your milk, Santa?” You teased and he shrugged.
“It was aright but between the two of us, I’m more of a beer guy.” He grinned before beginning to get changed from the costume to his pajamas and you bookmarked your page, setting the book on your bight stand.
“What took you so long anyway honey?”
He took a breath and looked over at you. “A very close call with Lil.”
Your eyes widened. “Oh god.”
“It's okay. I’m a fast thinker.  Explained any suspicions of Santa being daddy away. Many people have the same eye color and voice. Of course I know her middle name, I know everyone’s middle name.” he chuckled as he came over to his side and climbed into bed, “and that Santa was hugging mom because all dad wanted was for mom to know she was loved,” he pulled you into his chest and pressed a kiss to your head as you blushed, throwing an arm over his waist.
“I love you,” you told him, pecking his lips.
“I love you too.”
“You know she’ll figure it out eventually, right? Two years from now she could look back on this moment and put two and two together. That Santa and daddy looked an awful lot alike.” You told him.
He shushed you as he closed his eyes. “Let's push that thought far away from us and just enjoy the fact that our kids still believe in Santa.”
🔞 Just Fucking Write - Day 144 🔞
Tumblr media
Prompt: Secret OnlyFans Account
Tags: Watching porn, reference to the pandemic, unprotected sex (it’s me y’all), daddy kink, Kevin is exactly the whiny bottom you expect (said lovingly), pet names
A/N: I hope you enjoy Sangyeon’s username. Likes, reblogs, & comments welcome & encouraged.
Network(s): @tbz-network
Kevin needed new material. New material for his spank bank, specifically. He sighed as he scrolled through the free previews on his porn site of choice. A very toned torso and thighs caught his attention. The man wasn’t showing his face, just completely naked with one hand wrapped around his cock and the other resting on his thigh. He wasn’t making much noise to the point Kevin wondered if he needed to check his speakers. He preferred them loud. Whatever, call him a cliche. There was a ring on the man’s right index finger that looked familiar. The light periodically caught it when he’d buck his hips. But it was the soft “fuck” in English that made Kevin freeze. He paused the video and tried to zoom in on the ring. It only made it blurry, but it was enough. It appeared to match the one on Kevin’s own right hand. He glanced at the username - Daddy LoveLee. He slammed his laptop shut and power walked to the leader’s room.
“What?” Sangyeon asked when he opened the door to Kevin pounding on it.
“Do you have an OnlyFans account?” Kevin hissed. Sangyeon slapped his hand over Kevin’s mouth and pulled him into the room.
“How did you know that?” he demanded.
“I’m a dude. I watch porn,” Kevin replied.
“Yes, but how did you find me?” Sangyeon pressed.
“I was just scrolling. It came up on the free previews,” Kevin told him.
“Oh god,” Sangyeon put his head in his hands.
“You forgot to take off your ring. And I recognized your voice,” Kevin continued.
“I only speak English on there…I mean…shit,” Sangyeon stared at him.
“Who taught you most of your English?” Kevin asked.
“Fair,” Sangyeon sighed. “Don’t tell anyone?”
“Wasn’t planning on it. Though if you ever want to have a guest appearance, I’m happy to do it,” Kevin smirked. Sangyeon’s jaw dropped.
“What?”
“I’d bottom for you, if you ever wanted to mix things up,” he shrugged. “I would, of course, expect a cut of the profits from that video.”
“You already see the profits from it. Every time I pay for dinner or drinks,” Sangyeon told him.
“How long have you had it?” Kevin asked.
“Since 2020. Money was tight because of the pandemic and I knew how I looked naked so I set it up. It was profitable pretty much from the outset. Now I’m in the top 1%,” Sangyeon replied.
“You’re the second to last one of us I would’ve expected to do that,” Kevin said.
“Who’s the last?” Sangyeon asked.
“Really?” Kevin raised an eyebrow.
“Younghoon,” they said in unison.
“Did you mean what you said? About going on the channel?” Sangyeon questioned.
“I did,” Kevin nodded.
“You’d let me fuck you and post it on the Internet?” Sangyeon continued.
“Yes, if you insist on spelling it out,” Kevin said. “I’ve always thought about trying porn and why not have it be my leader railing me? I have to warn you though, I’m loud.”
“Let me see what my subscribers think and if they’re up for it then we’ll do it,” Sangyeon replied.
“Show them a couple pictures of my abs and they’ll agree,” Kevin stepped closer to Sangyeon and kissed him. Sangyeon leaned into the kiss, walking Kevin back toward his bed.
“How about a test run?” Sangyeon suggested when they parted, his body firmly on top of Kevin’s.
“You want to fuck me for free?” Kevin teased.
“I think you want to be fucked for free,” Sangyeon smirked. This wasn’t a side of Sangyeon that Kevin saw often. He was cocky and self assured when they were filming content or playing a game he knew he’d win, but rarely when they were in the dorms just being themselves. Of course, that was before Kevin discovered his secret.
“And if it’s no good then I rescind my offer,” Kevin snarked back.
“I doubt that. I’ve seen the guys you bring home when you’re not fucking Jacob. You’ll be begging for me to fuck you every night,” Sangyeon nipped at Kevin’s jaw.
“What are you implying?” Kevin asked, enjoying Sangyeon’s weight on him a little too much.
“That you settle and now that I know you’re interested, you don’t have to,” the elder replied. Kevin knew it was true. He was more annoyed that Sangyeon clocked him on it.
“Fine, show me how you got to 1%,” Kevin said.
“Take off your clothes,” Sangyeon sat up.
“Yes Daddy,” it came out far more whiny and far less snarky than Kevin interned.
“Good boy,” Sangyeon grinned as he pulled off his shirt. Kevin whined at the pet name. Sangyeon smirked.
“I knew that would work on you,” he said, shucking off his sweats and underwear.
“You…you…are stereotyping me,” Kevin huffed as he got undressed.
“Was I wrong?” Sangyeon taunted, getting the lube out from next to the bed. Kevin tried to glare, but he knew it looked pathetic rather than annoyed. “So tell me darling, when’s the last time you took a dick?”
“Last week,” Kevin admitted. “But you don’t have to take forever to prep me. I like it when it burns a little.”
“You like when Daddy’s rough with you?” Sangyeon held Kevin’s chin between his index finger and thumb.
“I’ll tell you if I can’t,” Kevin replied, getting uncomfortably hot and hard from Sangyeon staring at him.
“Good, now on your front,” he instructed.
“You’re gonna take me from behind?” Kevin asked.
“If I’m gonna fuck you in front of a camera then yes, I’m gonna take you from behind. Viewers love to watch a useless cock bouncing while you’re being fucked,” Sangyeon hissed in his ear. Kevin swallowed hard.
“Okay,” he breathed.
“Unless you’re too embarrassed,” Sangyeon suggested.
“I’m not embarrassed! I just…haven’t been taken from behind in a while,” Kevin replied. The truth was he’d never been taken from behind. All his partners, especially Jacob, wanted to see his face when they were fucking him. Something about Sangyeon taking him from behind made it seem more illicit, more dangerous. It was hot.
“You’ll like it,” he felt Sangyeon smile next to his ear. Then he reached down between Kevin’s asscheeks and lubed his hole. He quickly prepped him then had Kevin face down, ass up on his bed. “Ready?”
“Yes Daddy,” Kevin whined. He felt the dull pop of a cockhead in his entrance. Damn Sangyeon was thick. He could tell in the video and he’d seen Sangyeon’s dick more times than he could count, but feeling his thick cock push into him was something even his wildest dreams couldn’t conjure. “Fuck.”
“You okay?” Sangyeon asked.
“Yeah, I’m good,” Kevin panted.
“I can wait,” Sangyeon replied.
“No, no keep going,” Kevin insisted.
“Okay,” Sangyeon agreed and bottomed out. This was easily the biggest dick he’d ever taken. Part of him hated that he now knew what two of his elder bandmates’ cocks felt like in his ass, but the whore part of him didn’t care. Sangyeon grabbed onto Kevin’s hips and fucked into him hard. Kevin buried his face in the sheets to muffle his moans. He had no idea if any of the others were home, but he didn’t want to expose himself just yet. The leader wasn’t showing him any mercy as he fucked into Kevin like he was a toy.
“Daddy…” Kevin whined.
“Yes baby?” Sangyeon asked.
“Touch me,” he said.
“Nope, you’re coming only on my dick. Subscribers love that too,” Sangyeon admonished. Kevin had no one to blame but himself. He was the one who suggested it in the first place. Sangyeon was gonna fuck him like a porn star not like a casual hookup or, god forbid, a boyfriend. As he gripped the sheets, he found he didn’t mind. Kevin didn’t know if minutes, hours, or years passed before he felt that distinctive heat in his hips.
“I’m gonna come,” he panted.
“Good,” Sangyeon said, changing the angle of Kevin’s hips so he was grazing his prostate. Kevin almost choked on his own spit as he came all over the bed. Sangyeon pulled out and Kevin felt hot come land all over his back. Part of him wished Sangyeon had come inside him, but that didn’t make for a good show. Kevin fell forward when he finished, careful to avoid the wet spot he’d created. He flopped on his back and looked up at Sangyeon. The older man lied down next to him and weaved their fingers together.
“So, still wanna be my guest star?” he grinned.
“Yeah,” Kevin smiled back.
“Good,” Sangyeon kissed him softly. “You need a shower.”
“God, I know,” Kevin laughed a little.
A few weeks later when they were waiting at a music show, Kevin’s phone dinged.
Transfer request: 675 million won
Then a message popped up.
Sangyeon: Your half of the video. Wanna make it permanent?
Kevin looked across the room at Sangyeon. The older man caught his eye and smiled.
Kevin: When do we start?
Waterfall Meditation
(Goemon x Reader)
Disclaimer: I am not a writer by any means but I've recently wanted to put some of my ideas out there for fun. I do have some ideas for a second part to this so please let me know if that's something you'd like to see.
Content contains: No y/n, some pet names, reader takes medication, SFW, established relationship (I'm still new to this so please warn me if there is anything I missed)
Reader: Plus-sized, insomniac, female, insecure
Edit: I’m a dumbass. I kept forgetting that it’s in 2nd-person so I kept saying I. I’ve edited now but if I forgot to change any other “I”s to “you”s sorry
_______________________________________________
You couldn’t sleep well last night so Goemon let you tag along with him to meditate. You two had been together for quite some time now but he still liked to train and meditate alone. You respected that, so you were all the more grateful that he let you join him today. He insisted that mediating underneath a waterfall would help you relax and hopefully allow you to sleep better that night. You tried to tell him that it was okay and that you could stay behind, but he convinced me. It sounded nice: the rushing water gently massaging all the knots and bunched up nerves on your body, but you still weren’t used to having your boyfriend see your exposed skin. Your worries were assuaged when you brought up this concern with him and he stated in a straightforward tone (while blushing) that you had nothing to fear. He just wanted you to feel better and that your body is only a vessel for your soul, but it’s a vessel that he would cherish nonetheless. Or something like that. That boy talks in riddles and you liked to think that you’ve gotten better at understanding him.
Upon arriving at the majestic scene of the cascading water, your anxiety returned. You watched him gracefully undress himself and fold his clothes meticulously. You’ve seen him in just his fundoshi before, but no matter how many times you do, it never fails to turn your cheeks as red as a beet. He was gorgeous. He wasn’t exactly muscular like a gym bro, but he was lean and fit. That didn’t matter to you as much as all the scars that adorned his body. There was something about them that mesmerized you. Sure enough, they casted their spell on you and before you realized it, you walked up to him and started caressing a few of them. He turns to look at you and you quickly remove your hands from him.
“I’m so sorry. You’re just so enchanting, Gogo.” You look down in shame.
“Me? No, my beautiful flower, you are”, he places a hand on your cheek and kisses your forehead. “Come now. Let’s get you ready for the meditation. Here, let me help you.”
He helps you out of your tank top and shorts and now it’s his turn to stare at you in awe. You were wearing a bikini, something you rarely ever wore until the day you and the Lupin family had gone to the beach after a successful heist.
Fujiko saw you wearing an old t-shirt and shorts and immediately dragged you onto her motorcycle. She took you to the nearest clothing store and had you pick out proper swimwear. Fujicakes bought you the one you liked best but only if you promised her that you wouldn’t be a chicken and finally ask out Goemon because she knew he wouldn’t be the one to make the move first. It had something to do with his “samurai honor” or whatever. You complied with her condition and on that very same day, you confessed your feelings for him. Despite your insecurities with your body and not being as tall or thin as the femme fatale, Fujiko Mine, both her and Goemon didn’t care. She was your friend, and he didn’t see you as anything less due to your weight. He loved you back, not only because of your kind heart but because he genuinely thought you were physically beautiful.
You still didn’t really believe it at times. How could someone like him fall for someone like you, after all? But all of your insecurities went away whenever he kissed you like he did now. It’s not that you needed him to give you worth. You knew that your weight and height had nothing to do with who you really were, it’s just some days were harder on your brain than others. You learned through Fujiko that you didn’t need a man to make you feel validated but she also hyped you up and gave you some surprisingly decent advice on how to navigate a relationship. She reminded you though that even though she helped you, you were still the one that did most of the work.
And now, you were here at a lovely hidden waterfall with him as your lover. He places a kiss on your hand and then leads you to where you’ll be sitting. Before you sat down, you reached your hand to feel the water.
“DAMMIT GOEMON IT’S FREEZING! How do you stay under here for so long anyway?”
“Clear your mind and even cold can become warm. If you can surpass that obstacle you will be rewarded with the release of the tension in your muscles. It’ll be okay. Don’t forget, I’m here with you.”
Hesitantly, you walk in trying to breathe through the initial sting of the icy feeling of the water, which you soon grew used to. You sat down with your legs crossed still holding onto his hand. As he promised, the water hit all of the spots on your body that held the most tension and it didn’t feel so cold anymore. It truly felt as if all your worries and woes were being washed away to the river in front of you.
“Breathe with me”, he instructed and you did as he said. Your mind was usually racing a million miles per second but for the first time in your life, it was quiet. It felt weird at first but you soon eased into it and all you wanted was to stay here in this moment forever with the love of your life. However, about 15-minutes in (which was more than you thought you would last), you began to grow restless. Goemon notices some movement and opens one eye to see your bouncing your leg. “Are you okay?” he questions.
“Yeah sorry, I’m just not used to sitting still for this long. Is it disturbing you?”
“No, no. I was more worried about you. I thought maybe your anxiety was coming back. Here. Sit in my lap. Maybe that will relax you again,” he suggests with a blush.
I crawl over to where he is and position myself in his lap with my back to him and my legs crossed on top of him. “Am I too heavy?” you ask.
“Darling,” he grabs a hold of both of your hands and rests them on your lap,”I’ve carried boulders that are way heavier than you. You are but a feather in my grasp.”
You squeeze his hand, “I know but let me know if the position gets to uncomfortable, like if you need to shift or extend your legs or something”
“I assure you that I will. Now close your eyes, relax, and breathe with me again.”
This time you can feel his chest rising up and down and your focus shifts to the sensation. You feel protected wrapped in his arms and warm despite the cold water enveloping your skin. You feel at ease and don’t even realize that sleep had at long last welcomed you with open arms. Usually, you had to consume a myriad of different medications prescribed to you to be able to get a few hours of sleep if you were lucky, but this was the first time you fell asleep naturally in a very long time. When you woke up, you were wrapped in a towel and layed down on a futon next to the fireplace in the living room of the gang’s hideout. You looked outside the window and noticed it was still daytime. Maybe you just took a nap for an hour and Goemon decided to finish meditating before you woke up. You sit up and rub your eyes. Just then, Lupin and Jigen walk by.
“Good morning sleepy-head! How is our dear sweetheart feeling today?” he asked with a smile.
“I feel great actually. I feel like I just had the best nap of my life,” you say with a chuckle.
“Nap?” Jigen laughs. “You slept through the whole day! You were knocked out. We were worried you’d gone and turned into sleeping beauty or something.”
“If you did, though. I would’ve given you the true love’s kiss that would wake y- AH! OK, OK, I’LL SHUT UP” Lupin is interrupt by Jigen stepping on his foot.
“Yeah, you’d better. You know if Goemon heard you, he’d slice you into sashimi” Jigen reminds him.
“Yeah, yeah, I know. It’s just a shame that a beautiful lady’s been taken, but I know I gotta respect my friend. And you, too, dear for that matter. Say, are ya hungry? I made breakfast. Everyone’s already eaten so help yourself to whatever you’d like, OH! And I made the eggs just the way you like them,” Lupin flashes a big smile.
“Thanks, Lup. I know it’s gonna be really yummy.” You scan the room for any sign of my sweetheart. Where’s Gogo?” You ask while getting up.
“He’s out training at his usual spot, but promise me you’ll eat first. You two lovebirds can smooch it up later,” Lupin informs you while wiggling his eyebrows.
“Shut up, we’re not like you and Fuji,” you tease him while throwing a pillow at him.
“Oh but I bet you will be later,” he says in a sing-song voice. “Jigen, Fujicakes, and I are off to meet an old friend. Goemon doesn’t know them, so he’s staying, and I bet that means you will, too. Especially since you’ll have plenty of time to get frisky and maybe- OW! THE HELL YOU GUYS. WHY AM I GETTING BEAT UP SO MUCH AND ON MY DAY OFF TOO!”
You and Jigen laugh together after he punched him and you threw another pillow except this one was as soft as the first one.
“It’s cause you’re gross and even if that was true, it’s none of your damn business, ya filthy fool!” You go up to him and ruffle his hair. Before you go into the kitchen, you turn around to face Lupin. “But I know you and Fujiko aren’t gonna stop until you pry the nitty-gritty details from me. Bring me one of those chocolate-matcha flan cakes from that one fancy bakery on your way back and maybe I’ll talk.”
“Deal! Well Jigen, let’s go before it gets late. Catch ya later, love!”
“See ya!” Jigen says while grabbing his hat.
“Take care you two. And say hi to Fuji for me!” You wave them goodbye and step into the kitchen for breakfast.
✯EVERYWHERE PT2✯
Tumblr media
Summary: Sirius has a new found hatred for the new girl at hogwarts, or in other words…you.
Warnings: cursing, not many, it’s mostly just sirius being annoying😭
Authors Note: guys I actually love this so much, I’m making a series of little drabbles with these two. Also whatever I say about ancient magic if it’s not totally game accurate just ignore it, it’s accurate here😭😭 like last time, all italics are memories.
—✯
The fourth time was the most unexpected time. Sirius had been walking beside Lily Evan’s, walking back from the kitchens late at night to sneak snacks back to the common room. The other marauders had fallen asleep, and the girls had as well. It wasn’t uncommon for the group to fall asleep hanging out in the Gryffindor common room, and lately Sirius was the only one to stay awake. Not for nothing, he had a lot on his mind, well, two names in particular.
“Hey, Lily, I'll meet you in the common room.” Sirius said, a certain old clock catching his eye. Lily frowns, looking up at him with concern.
“Everything alright Sir?” He nodded.
“Yeah no, everything’s fine. I just, I left an extra chocolate bar in the kitchen and Remus would kill me if I forgot his chocolate.” Sirius chuckled airily, Lily chuckling along as she began walking away.
“Alright Sirius, I’ll meet you.” He smiled in response, waving as she covered herself in the invisibility cloak. “Don’t get caught.” She lectured, before disappearing.
And there he stood. A bag full of snacks slung over his shoulder, and his wand aluminumating the dark hallway with his other. It wasn’t a smart thing-standing in the middle of the hallways past curfew, holding the only light source in the room- but then again neither was Sirius. He took a deep breath, and out came the words.
“Sallow-Gaunt.” He whispered, and jumped back surprised when the gears in the clock began to turn. He didn’t see this part the first time, having just snuck in behind y/n, but he couldn’t help but be amazed. He walked in the door, and found himself in the exact room he was in a few weeks ago. The Undercroft. However, his admiring was cut short, when a quick gust of bright blue magic shot across the room at the door. He ducked quickly, then stood back up and looked behind him to find a magic dummy knocked over and burning on the floor. He looked back at y/n with wide eyes, the girl giving him a similar look of shock.
“Sirius, hi.” She said quietly, smiling nervously as she waved. He stared at her in shock, his mouth open trying to speak, but no words came out.
“You almost…you could’ve… that almost killed me?” He shouted, pointing at the dummy on the floor. She raised an eyebrow at him, pointing her finger at him.
“Hey, yeah, I wasn’t expecting you to show up.” She went to go pick up the magic dummy off the floor, dusting off the few blue sparks that fizzled on it. Sirius’ eyes followed her as she wiped her hands off, holding her wand in both her hands as she pressed her lips together nervously. And awkward silence filt the room, until y/n decided to speak up. “It’s been a few weeks.”
“What spell was that?” Now Sirius was talking, in fact he didn’t miss a beat to respond.
“Oh, nothing, it was nothing.” She said quickly, shaking her head as she walked over to the table in the corner, placing down her wand and taking off the gloves she wore for protection.
“That was bright blue magic. That wasn’t magic we’ve ever used before.” Sirius explained, making her nod.
“No, it wasn’t.” She mumbled, not looking at him.
“You're dangerous.”
“No I’m not.”
“You are. I mean, what was that? How do you know that? No magic, in all of the wizarding world, has ever been capable of knocking down those dummies. Except…”
He pointed, stopping in his tracks as silence filled the room. She turned around, her face stern as she looked at him.
“No. No Sirius, no! I am not and never will be a dark wizard. I’m against dark magic, I always have been.” She explained, a now angry expression on her face.
“Then what the hell was that!?” He shouted, making y/n sigh.
“It’s…it’s ancient magic.” She mumbled quietly.
“Come again?” He asked, making her roll her eyes.
“Ancient magic, shall I write it out for you?” She snarked, making Sirius scoff in response.
“I can hear just fine, thank you. What does that mean?”
“It’s in my family line. My great grandmother, she had ancient magic.”
“Right, okay, but you still haven’t explained what that means.”
“I’m getting there. It’s complicated to explain; I don’t even fully understand it myself. It’s a very old, mysterious and powerful form of Magic, the ways of which had been forgotten in the Wizarding World itself. A small group of witches and wizards in the Tudor period, the Keepers. They developed a form of ancient magic, and were kept in charge of protecting it. The group was secret, and sworn to keep it safe. Years later, a young witch had abused the power to try and use it for good, and ended up unleashing and even more powerful evil. It was kept in hidden Repositories under Hogwarts, until the 1800s. That’s when my Great Grandmother had used the magic to defeat Ranrok in the Global Wizarding War. We’ve learned about it in history of magic, but it isn’t nearly close to the true story at all. We just know that wizards and witches protected Hogwarts from Goblins, but they never tell us why.” Y/n explained, looking up to see the shocked expression on Sirius’ face.
“Wow…and your great grandfather had that?” He asked, but before y/n could respond, another voice was sounded through the Undercroft.
“Grandmother actually. You’d be amazed at the things she could do.” The voice called, a deeper voice. Y/n seemed to know exactly where it came from too, seeing as she was turning in the direction of it,
“Why thank you Sebastian.” Another voice sounded, revealing the source of the sound. Y/n walked over to a painting in the other side of the room, one of a witch and a wizard, who looked seemingly like Y/n did.
“It was actually rather scary.”
“Would you shush?”
“Would you both shush?” Y/n called, turning to the painting angrily as the man cleared his throat.
“Sorry. Carry on.” He said. Y/n rolled her eyes as she turned back to Sirius, who seemed even more confused as before.
“Wh-whoo…” he mumbled, pointing at the painting. The man bowed, a wide smile on his face.
“Sebastian Sallow, it’s a pleasure. Welcome to my Undercroft.” Sebastian introduced, causing his counterpart to roll her eyes.
“It is not just your Undercroft Sebastian.” She said, raising an eyebrow at him. Y/n smiled, gesturing to the painting.
“Sirius black. My great grandparents. Constance and Sebastian Sallow, the second founders of the repository, victors of the Global Wizarding War.”
“From History of Magic.” Sirius whispered, making Sebastian cheer.
“Really? We made it in the books?” Constance asked proudly, as Sebastian nudged her excitedly.
“Of course we did. Did they also write about my dueling championship world record?” He asked, making Sirius shake his head.
“No, that one doesn’t ring a bell.”
“Damn. I tried so hard to get it there too.”
“So wait, I’m just a little confused…” Sirius said as he shook his head, trying to snap himself back to reality after all the new information he had just learned.
“I can't explain all of it to you Sirius, but I can show you.” Y/n said softly, Sirius turning to the painting to be met with proud smirks from both Sallow’s.
“Show me?” He asked. Y/n grabbed his arm, guiding him to the exit. His arm lit up from her touch.
“Meet me here tomorrow night after curfew, I’ll show you what I mean.” She explained, opening the door for him. He furrowed his eyebrows, looking at her as he stood there still confused.
“How do I know you aren’t tricking me?” He asked, and she shrugged.
“You don’t. But you have to trust me.”
Okay so @green-tea217 requested that I share this fanfic based on this post that I made.
I never usually post my fanfics, but I’m feeling brave. This one isn’t finished, but I’ll post the first chapter ‘cause I’m really proud of it. I’m working on the other fanfics that were requested, but I’m posting this one first because I’ve worked rlly had on it.
Summary: Kind of an OC/FanChild fic about my hcs for Percabeth’s kids. VERY Leo/Nico heavy bc they’re my two favourite characters, particularly Leo.
TWs: Swearing, lack of smut (she is a teenager)
Disclaimers: I was still reading SoN when I wrote this chapter, and I am currently on HoH, so if I’ve missed anything that gets revealed later, that’s why. Also I listened to the audiobooks, so if I spell a name wrong, that’s also why, either that or I’ve spelt something the British way.
Chapter 1:
Olympia hated stories.
She hated telling them. She hated hearing them. She hated the way they were often twisted and bent to contain some kind of message. She hated the theatrics of sharing them around the fire, the hushed voices and dramatic tone. And she hated how every story she heard was almost always about her dad.
Olympia Grace Jackson-Chase.
Of course.
For as long as she can remember, people had told her stories about her parents. About her and her birth. How she had been born on Olympus. How Apollo himself had delivered her, and named her “Olympia Grace” so that it would rhyme with her last name. That wasn’t entirely true. “Grace” was the last name of her Auntie Thalia and Uncle Jason. She hated the stories about them too- about all her parents’ friends. They were myths and legends in the eyes of the other campers, to her they were just people who babysat her sometimes. The Cabin 9’ers had been shocked when she’d told them that the heroic son of Hephaestus who had saved the world from Gaea and her evil forces was actually just Little Uncle Leo, and the first Fire User in three and a half centuries isn’t very mythical and legendary when he’s running in from the kitchen, waving a tea-towel at the fire alarm and yelling “Oh shit, the guacamole’s on fire. I set the guacamole on fire. Don’t tell your mom.”
People never wanted to hear those stories. Only the exiting and dangerous ones.
“Percy Jackson fought the Minotaur when he was only ten years old!!!”
“Percy Jackson keeps insisting I tidy my room.”
Suffice it to say, she was sick of it.
“Dad,” she asked, approaching the kitchen table.
Perseus Jackson, the man, the myth, the legend himself, looked up from his comic book and ginned at her.
“What is it, dolphin?”
“Can you… like… not send me to camp this year?”
Her dad frowned, put The Amazing Spider-Man down on the table and leaned back in his chair.
“Why? What’s up? Are the other campers not nice to you there?”
“It’s not that… in fact, it’s the opposite. The attention is getting too much. I wanna learn to fight, but… I’d rather you just teach me yourself. You can show me how to use my water powers.”
“Oly, I know it’s hard, especially as you’re one of the first Legacies at Camp Half-Blood. I can absolutely arrange for you to not go anymore if you don’t want to… but there’s only so much I can teach you on my own, particularly with your mother’s workload. I want to make sure you’d be protected. Could you maybe give it a try, please?”
Olympia was pretty sure she’d been “giving it a try” for the last 14 summers, but she didn’t want to argue with her dad.
“Fine,” she said.
“That’s my girl,” he beamed, “Now, remember to pack your armour for Capture the Flag, I don’t want to have to drive out there and back just ‘cause you forgot it again.”
She sighed and left the room.
She just wished that he had stayed in the car when he’d dropped her off, but no. He insisted on walking with her to the Big House, saying hello to Chiron and generally being a huge embarrassment. It didn’t take long for the crowds of campers to form around them, whispering behind their hands. She hugged her dad, and said goodbye to him as quickly as she could.
She dumped her things in the Poseidon Cabin. She was allowed in both her mom and her dad’s old cabins, but she preferred to be alone to sleep. She did her activities with the Athena kids though, she didn’t want to stand out any more than she already did.
Olympia sat alone, perched on the edge of the Athena table, when suddenly a kid shuffled up next to her. She looked about twelve, with the same grey eyes of her mother.
“What’s your name?” The girl asked.
“Olympia Jackson-Chase,” Olympia sighed.
“I’ve noticed you doing cabin activities with us, but you don’t sleep with the other Athenians? What’s up with that?”
Olympia took a deep breath, and began to explain, “I’m a-“
“Wait. Jackson-Chase?” The kid gasped.
Oh, here we go, Olympia thought, preparing for the usual swooning and/or geeking out.
“Your mother was Annabeth Chase?”
Olympia was slightly taken aback, “Usually, people talk mostly about my father. I’m always “The daughter of Percy Jackson,” never “the daughter of Annabeth Chase.””
“Oh but she’s a legend! She re-designed Olympus! She led our cabin in battle against the Titans! She even held up the sky! I mean, I know your dad did that too, but-“
“She did it for longer. She was under that thing for over a day, he only held it for at most 20 minutes.”
The girl laughed.
“And, if you ask me, she was the one who did all the work when it came to defeating Kronos. Dad did jack shit, just handed a knife to a guy.”
“Exactly! Just because he was in the Prophecy-“
“Nah, it’s a lot simpler than that,” Olympia said, “It’s because he’s a man.”
They sat in silence for a bit.
She never blamed her dad for overshadowing her mom. He didn’t mean to. In fact, he openly hated the stories that didn’t recognise her for all she did. They were so in love, it was sickening.
“I can’t believe she’s, like, my sister.”
The girl gasped, and grabbed Olympia’s arm, “Wait, does that make me your aunt?”
Olympia shook her head, “Don’t bother with family trees, man, otherwise you get into the whole “my dad’s dad is my mom’s mom’s uncle, which makes me kinda my mom’s second cousin, and my dad her cousin-once-removed”- it’s just too much to get your head around.”
She looked directly into the girl’s grey eyes, “My advice, kid, believe whatever bullshit they tell you about the Gods not having DNA, and just try not to think about it.”
The girl’s face fell. “Oh.”
Then she looked exited again, “Did you come out of her tummy or her head like I did with my mom?”
And there we go, Olympia thought. Geez, they didn’t hesitate to ask the really invasive questions, did they?
She took her three-pronged fork out of her pocket, and fidgeted with it, twirling it in her fingers. Instantly, she realised her mistake.
“Why do you carry a fork around and never eat with it?” The girl asked. More questions.
Might at well get it over with, she thought.
“Gift from Grandpa,” she replied.
“A gift from Poseidon? What does it do?”
She sighed again, and dangled the fork over the girl’s glass of orange juice, and let go. It dropped into the glass with a satisfying plop, and then rose to the surface. No, it wasn’t rising. It was growing. It’s shaft elongated, and the prongs stretched to become longer and way more deadly. Intricate designs started carving itself into the metal. Olympia stood up, and grabbed the shaft of the fork just as it finished growing. A three-pronged death skewer of pure celestial bronze. A Trident.
The surrounding campers gaped at her, open-mouthed.
“Woah,” said one of the Hephaestus campers, clearly someone who hadn’t seen the spectacle before.
“OLYMPIA JACKSON-CHASE! NO WEAPONS AT THE DINNER TABLE! CAMP RULES! YOU OF ALL PEOPLE SHOULD KNOW THAT!!”
“Sorry Chiron,” Olympia called. She twisted a little ring of metal around the shaft of the trident, and it shrank back into a fork. She sat back down.
“It responds to water,” she explained, “get it wet, and boom, Trident.”
She had named it Blue. It was her first word, after all. Or at least, that was the story. Poseidon had given it to her on her second birthday, and she had just looked at it, holding it in her tiny fist, and cried “bloooo!” It was probably just baby babbling, but Dad said it counted.
“So what’s Poseidon like? Do you have water powers too? Can you get me your mom’s autograph? Is your dad really 7ft tall?”
She ate the rest of her lunch in silence, only answering the onslaught of questions from the young camper when she had to.
Cabin 3 offered a pleasant respite from the crowds and the people. She dropped her armour and weapons from the day’s activites by the door and kicked off her shoes.
She looked at herself in the mirror.
Tumblr media
(Drawing of Olympia: Art by me)
Her curly black hair, which she’d dyed the tips of blonde, was pulled back into a messy ponytail. Around her neck hung a necklace of leather chord, fourteen different coloured beads threaded onto them, each painted with a different design. Her broad shoulders and thick muscles bulged through her plain navy-blue tank top. Her skin was tanned from spending long hours training in the sun. She had a battle-hardened look to her that meant people often mistook her for a daughter of Ares. But her eyes was what made her stand out most- one grey, like her mother, one green, like her father. Her parents had told her how her birth had ended the centuries-long feud between Poseidon and Athena for good, and she had been given those eyes as a way of symbolising that. Another story. It felt like every part of her body had been attached to a story about something her parents had done. Why couldn’t she just be herself? She had spent 16 years living under the shadow of her parents, she was homeschooled from an early age, and had been going to camp since before she could even hold a sword- the demigod life was all she’d ever known. Someday, she’d get away from it all. She’d sink to the bottom of the Mariana Trench and just study the fish, and she wouldn’t have to worry about people or monsters
Suddenly, she felt something tap her on her shoulder. Quick as lightning, she grabbed Blue and spun around. Blue, still in fork form, was about a centimetre away from the neck of her intruder, who held up his hands in surrender.
“Whoah there!” He said.
When she saw who it was, she lowered the weapon and pulled him into a tight hug.
“Leo!” She cried.
“Hey, how’s my favourite cousin? Or… whatever.”
She looked at him and smiled. Despite him being old enough to be her dad, he was about half her size. With a thin, wiry frame and very little meat on his bones. His wild, curly brown hair framed his pointed face and elfish features. His dark skin was covered in a thin layer of motor oil and grime of unknown origin. He tapped her cheek affectionately, leaving a grubby handprint on her face. He walked over to her bed and leaped onto the top bunk, his legs dangling off the ladder.
“You need to stop growing,” he instructed, “You are getting too big, it’s not fair.”
“You need to stop being so short,” Olympia retorted, then her face broke into a huge smile, “I feel like I never see you anymore!”
“I know, you’re too old for me to babysit now, kiddo,” He complained.
“Well that always ended in disaster anyway. There’s still burn marks on that wall.”
“Did your mom find out?” He asked.
“Nope. Dad told her he just wanted to hang more pictures up. And then he went on a long speech about how nice she looked in that wedding photo, and then took her out for ice cream. I think she bought it.”
“Good.”
They stayed in comfortable silence for a few seconds, and then she asked, “So… it’s great that you’re here and all, but… why are you here?”
“What, I can’t come and visit my favourite partner in crime every now and then?”
“Leo…” Her tone was firm.
Leo’s face was suddenly dark and serious, he paused before speaking, but said, “I think I have news about your brother.”
That was Chapter 1- if this post gets… let’s say… 30 notes, I’ll post Chapter 2.
Hi Klaus! Ah, the birthday special is such a fun idea! If it's still available, I'll request:
You should have raised a baby girl, I should have been a better son
for Platonic Stobin
Happy early birthday! <3 Hope it's a wonderful year ahead -Jules
“Ok, I got another. If you were born a boy, would your parents still name you Robin?”
Robin snorted as she threw another almond in her mouth, “Oh, you should have seen their lists of names before I was born.” She shifted her seat on the couch and started counting off her fingers, “For their nonexistent son, there was Sebastian, Rocky, Thorn, Jay, Harry, Claude, Ethan, Todd, Luka-”
Steve already felt overwhelmed by the list. He almost interrupted but Robin was still going.
“-Aloysius, Odysseus, and a couple more really obscure names. But the other ones they almost named me were Athena, Roberta, Viola or Violet, Crystal-”
Steve kicked at Robin’s shin, laughing, “You’re answering the wrong question!”
Robin kicked back before she too fell into laughter. Once she recovered, she wiped at her eyes and said, “Well, Robin wasn’t on the little boy’s list, so I guess that’s a no.”
“Oh god,” Steve moaned as he covered his face with his hands, “now that I know all of those other names, I’m afraid I can’t call you Robin anymore.”
An almond pecked him on the forehead. “Sure. Like you didn’t just already forgot all of them, dingus. Not that I’ll blame you.”
Steve peeked through his fingers, then took his hands off as he stretched up discreetly. “Yeah, you’re right. By the way, Viola, why didn’t you tell me your name was spelled Violet?”
Instead of taking his bait, Robin scowled at Steve and chomped on a few more almonds. Then she swiftly stole the pillow under his head so it bumped rather hard against the couch’s arm he was laying on. It didn’t hurt but he winced anyway.
“Robin!”
“I’m running out of ideas so I’m stealing your last question and making it my own. If you were a girl instead, what would your parents name you?
Steve answered immediately, “Stephanie.”
Robin blinked at him with surprise, “Wait, really?”
“I guess creativity is a Harrington weakness so,” he shrugged, “Steve for a boy or Stephanie for a girl.”
“Don’t tell me they did the same with your middle name.”
“Yep. Otis after my grandpa, Dorothy after my grandma.” He paused before adding, “They’re my dad’s parents. Not that my mom’s are bad, but I haven't seen them since I was, like, three.”
“Huh,” Robin said. Then they both fell into silence.
It didn’t take long for Steve’s thoughts to steer their way back to an old subject he hadn’t touched in ages.
The night after the fateful fight with Jonathan and the monster in his house, his parents had came home and his mother gasped at the state of his face. Steve had latched on the careful warmth she exhibited while she tended him in the bathroom.
Steve had almost cried then. He had missed when his mother had dropped everything to take care of him whenever he was hurt. That was how she expressed the words ‘I love you’ to him without even saying it.
But his eyes had immediately went dry when his mother had looked at him and sighed like Steve was a stain on the kitchen napkins.
Then she’d said, “If you were a proper lady instead, neither of us would be here.”
He had gone to bed, hollow and confused. Replayed her words over and over, thinking what did she mean?
And then it was like some floodgate was open.
It didn’t matter if it was over the sparse phone calls or face to face, Shirley Harrington had found a new mission in making mournful quips towards her son of how much she had desired a daughter and how much better the never-born Stephanie would be.
“More low grade this semester? A girl studies much harder than a classroom of boys anyway.”
“No more girlfriends? Oh, but a daughter of mine would keep a boyfriend for far longer than you had with that Nancy girl.”
“Why are you being more difficult these days, Steve? If you were a woman, you would know exactly how to keep quiet.”
And then came that fateful day when Steve had admitted to his dad that none of the prestigious colleges had accepted him.
After his father’s fury continued to ring in Steve’s ears long after his departure, his mother had shook her head in tired disappointment and hovered to her reading room.
Steve had called out to her, trying to reach out and grab on the edges of her old warmth he desperately needed. He wanted to beg her for something. Anything simple like a hug.
But he’d asked her, “What if I was your daughter who got herself pregnant before graduation?”
It was such a ridiculous question. But Steve had been getting sick of his mother’s ‘what-if’ comments and wanted to retaliate anyways.
His mother had paused but answered so quickly as if she was waiting for the opportunity.
“Then I would marry her off to a bachelor and wish for a son instead.”
“But I am your son.”
“Your father wanted a son anyways.”
She had left him in the kitchen as if her words were a snide compliment at an art gallery. Like she hadn’t just dove her hands inside Steve’s hollow chest, found the remains of his heart, splattered the walls bloody-red with it so he would be surrounded by the proof of his mother’s love, and wiped her hands clean.
That was three months ago. But fuck, it felt like it had happened three hours ago.
A poke on his knee brought Steve out of the churning void he was about to fall back into. Robin was looking at him with a furrowed expression that yelled ‘I am very worried about you right now, should we talk?’
“I’m okay,” Steve said automatically. He pinched the bridge of his nose and sat up.
“No, you’re not.” Robin said, mirroring him so they were now sitting side by side. She bumped her arm against his.
“No, I’m not.” Steve echoed wearily.
Robin dropped her head on his shoulder. A comforting weight. She didn’t ask anything which Steve found grateful. But he couldn’t bear to hide the new aching in his chest from her. It would make him a hypocrite after the Russian torture.
“I guess it’s kind of funny that my mom wanted a daughter but she still would be disappointed in me.”
Robin made a small sad noise in her throat but said nothing. Instead, she grabbed his hand and squeezed it.
“As much as I would fear the tyranny of Stephanie Harrington, I wouldn’t regret being her platonic soulmate.”
“With a capital P.” Steve finished automatically, a tiny smile forming on his face.
“With a capital P.” Robin echoed with a warm smile.
They sat together like this for several minutes. Then, Steve turned to her and asked, “So would that mean you would get a crush on me for having boobies?”
The bowl of almonds immediately exploded in his face. Steve fell back to the couch, clutching his stomach as he howled with laughter and Robin yelled, “Way to ruin an emotional moment, Steve Dingus Harrington!”
You put a spell on me
[A/N: I was too lazy to wait for the end of the poll. also i haven't watched the show and wikipedia is kinda holding me up so don't get mad at me for messing smth up, i'll go on the fan wiki tho, they always have everything.]
[EDIT: guys I forgot about the civil war 💀💀💀 I finally fixed it tho so yay]
Part 1/Part 2
Masterlist
[Billy the Kid (Tom Blyth's version) x desi!oc]
Warning: description of blood, slight violence, flogging, racism, flogging, slaves, smut in maybe part 6?
Summary: Sheila was a slave taken by a British couple at the age of 12 for her singing. She was brought to America even though they had the 13th Amendment where slavery was abolished. She saw a friend of hers, who was brought with her, getting flogged and that was her last straw, proceeding to run away. Until she sees the most notorious outlaw in the South, then she settles to free her friends from the British couple that came to America for money.
Tumblr media
It was July.25, 1878, Lincoln County, New Mexico. Sheila woke up to nothing but harsh screams coming from one of her friends as she was beaten and whipped. She felt worried because the girl was new…Unlike Sheila who had been with the owner since she was twelve, merely because his wife liked her singing when they had come to visit British India.
Her friend, Catherine, was a sad sixteen-year-old, mourning the death of her parents. They had threatened the owners of telling law enforcement what was happening but they knew that they wouldn't do anything about it.
The other slaves ran to her screams but were faced with fear and did nothing besides revel in their powerlessness. Sheila sat there, her damp brown skin and greasy raven hair clinging to her shell of a body. She knew how this would end, knew that they would be feeble against the man–Edward J. Mason– but she was ready to clean Catherine’s wounds and reassure her that she would be alright.
“Oh, look at my slave, Sheila, so obedient! You never have to hurt her, Edward!”
The sadistic gray-haired man chuckled, kissing his wife.
“ And aren’t I glad, Penelope! We chose her when she was twelve, it has been seven years since, of course, she’d love us, this is why I love Indians! They always gift us with beauty and trust.”
They both glanced at the gaunt, starved girl before chuckling. The Mistress patted Sheila’s head and reached for a rake beside her, beckoning to the other slaves.
Penelope Mason was a woman no different from her husband. Many wives were afraid of their spouses but Penelope was a wife who had nothing but pride in her bones. The rake in Penelope’s hand was covered in blood, meant to whip the slaves that threatened their control and most times Sheila could willing block out the screeches and screams, but now she just felt angry, ready to beat the couple with no morals.
But she was stuck being useless to defend them.
Fear is a burden that was attached to her like a drug, and only withdrawal held her back from screaming her heart out.
Until she found a boy with the brightest blue eyes.
From what she’d heard, he was an outlaw.
Billy the Kid was infamous because he was the man who killed a sheriff months ago, and chased out of the state. It was a mystery how he gained the courage to return to New Mexico.
“ Who’re you?” The man questioned, his vibrant cobalt eyes gazing at her with hostility.
Sheila didn’t want to think more about the dominant color in his entire posture and frame. His clothes were darker than sin and brighter than the sun, but his eyes were the only thing she could pay attention to, causing her to ignore their proximity.
“ I am a slave, belonging to the Mason family.”
He tilted his head, shocked eyes analyzing their surroundings.
“ I didn’ ask what you were forced to be, I asked who you are.”
“ My name is Sheila, is that what you want?”
“ Huh, I’m Billy, but considerin’ the poster you were starin’ at a min’ ago, you already know that. But...how did you...No, how dare they have slaves!”
Apologies for the lengthy delay, slowpokes, my brain has been on power-saver for about a month, might could be evident in the chapter, too XD
...........................................
“Guess I'll just move this arm like a robot—oh-ho, check it, I can still do the tomahawk chop, y’all!”
And yeah, then his friend proceeds to make barely one and a half chops before wincing. The slight pout that forms afterward makes him want to smile, it’s damn cute.
“Hurt more than I thought it would.”
The twangy blonde lady looks entertained. “Tell me why, Y/N.”
Their pout turns more embarrassed. “…Movin’ the forearm requires these here muscles.”
He liked that their accent revved up more with the blonde lady—sorry, her name’s Patricia, he knows, got it.
“Which affects what?” Patricia asks.
“My shoulder and chest.”
“Which are injured and got irritated something serious today, along with what I’m fairly sure is maybe your C6 and 7, maybe the T1, whenever you first got hurt.”
“Yes, ma’am,” they mumble.
Stop thinking Y/N looks cute. Also, what were those letter-number things?
Sighing, his friend stares at their upper arm.
So, during the, like, he doesn’t know, 5 minutes or whatever it was when the old man helped him slump to the bathroom so he could finally take a piss, Y/N’s upper arm was wrapped to their torso to prevent them from hurting it more. They keep overdoing it, and they keep taking their damn sling off, so Patricia made a compromise, he guesses.
And after doing a modeling-pose type thing with their wrapped arm and asking who was wearing their gauze better, them or him, Y/N immediately tried to do the tomahawk chop and move like a robot and why is he finding that so damn cute right now?.
Patricia winks at Y/N. “Name some of the muscles up there and I won’t put the rest in a sling."
You
“Ooh, bicep, tricep,” basics out of the way. “This, um, one of these over here is the brachialis, this is the deltoid, the teres major’s under here.” You got that muscle wrong on an anatomy midterm back during college and never forgot about it. “This here is the trapezius.” Because the dudes who do the trapeze at the circus got real big ones (or at least that’s how you remember it). “And, well, the clavicle is this bone, so the bone under it is the scapula, which means right about here’s the subscapularis muscle,” that she said you may have hurt, “Oh, duh, then ‘the major one is the pectoralis.’ And—”
“—Okay, no sling.”
Phew. “Thank you!”
“For now, anyway. Meanwhile, Hersh is givin’ me a look, let’s get to cleaning our friend, here.”
Him
The funny part is, as Patricia left, she made a face and said, “I don’t remember most of the muscle or bone names, I just took Y/N's word for it. Now, Daryl, don’t go gettin’ out of bed, stay put.”
Now he’s finally laying down, nothing else to be done to him. He’s so damn tired.
He’s scrubbed up, too. Got a big-ass bandage over his head, wrapped all around. That was a trip; Patricia and Y/N washed his head and neck over a bowl. He counted the seconds til it was over, half-listened to whatever they were chatting about to distract himself.
Once he was bound up like a cartoon character and given instruction to not get it wet, Hershel came back and walked him to the bathroom again, this time to clean everything else off.
There was a little stool thing in the shower, with the shower hose on the ground instead of hanging. “Don’t get your head or the bandage wet. There's a waterproof cover over the dressing on your side that you'll have to remove when you're finished. Now, I imagine you prefer total privacy, but if you need the help, I can assist, or I can get your friend Theodore, if your prefer.”
“M’fine.”
The simple response “I’ll be outside the door, Daryl,” surprised him. Made him feel stupid and ashamed and comforted all at the same time.
And he…he needed the damn help. Ain’t like the old guy hadn’t seen his back already, anyway.
Still, the old man mostly stayed behind the shower curtain at his request, and he didn’t see his junk or nothing, Daryl made sure to keep himself covered.
Part of him felt like some pathetic little cat getting a flea bath.
Today was something else.
So goddamned tired…
You
Not 15 minutes went by since he was escorted to the washroom and now he’s fast asleep under the sheets.
Lori and you stayed inside with Carl (and Daryl), and Carol and Rick brought in plates of food into the house for the four of you.
Carol cooked up some jerky with an egg for Daryl as a special treat with the rest of his meal. Menu for tonight is peanut butter sandwiches (sort of, they’re on saltines), hard-boiled eggs (not soft-boiled, you checked this time), with sauteed field greens.
Your poor friend must be ravenous, but it looks like tiredness won this round. He looks so different asleep. Sweet, even. It's silly, but his light snores almost sound like purring and now you're thinking about kittens.
Another moment in the quiet, and you figure you shouldn’t stand there like a weirdo anymore.
Well, his egg and the peanut butter sandwiches will keep until he wakes up, and the jerky and egg will taste great either way, but his portion of sauteed field greens won’t be nice cold. You’re only a little bummed when you slide your portion of little sandwiches onto his plate and take his portion of greens. He’s earned extra treats, he can have all the peanut butter he wants after what he found today.
You inhale deeply. Exhale slowly. Close your eyes and ask inwardly for help after offering more thanks that he came back alive, and found concrete proof of Sophia.
It’s nice to be in the quiet. It feels safer better to be away from Shane right now, too. You aren’t sure what you’re going to do about the sleeping situation other than tell your brother to set up his own tent.
You also take one of the cracker sandwiches, it’s been a rough day. But when you start to nibble on it…your appetite is gone. Which is so dumb, dude, you’d been stoked at the thought of chowing down when you were high on Daryl being okay and having found Sophia’s doll.
Daryl’s chest rises and falls. You listen to his light snores, and find it, as Amy would’ve said, “interesting,” (but understandable) that your stomach has a few butterflies at seeing him so peaceful and still.
You miss Amy. Which prompts you to consider that you should check on Andrea. Earlier, Dale had come in and asked a bunch of questions for her because she was too ashamed to see people. From wherever she is right now, Amy is probably hoping you’ll help comfort her big sister.
Patricia stops you before you exit the house through the side-door. “Been meanin' to ask, I heard you tell your brother to get out, earlier. Everythin’ okay?”
That question was unexpected, words aren’t working for you. You shake and nod at the same time, which is weird, so, you open your mouth to fix it, but nothing formulates.
After a second try, all you can stumble through is “I don’t know, ma’am,” before ungracefully scooting outside.
Tumblr media
After 5 minutes of polite conversation on the steps, mainly between you and Dale regarding Daryl’s status, Andrea is still dumbfounded that she’d almost killed someone.
“He’s really okay?”
“He’s bandaged and resting now. You only winged him, but the falls he took earlier did the most damage, Andy.” You’re trying not to be angry with her, but failing. Which sucks, because you know she was trying to protect the group…
But that she still shot it even though it was against Mr. Greene’s wishes and she knew that indicates an unhealthy variety of pride. One can't be having that kind of attitude with a firearm, it ain't good. And Daryl was almost a casualty because of it.
And like, come on, there were five of you running toward her target, it was dangerous for her to attempt to shoot from that angle! Doesn’t she understand that’s irrespons—ugh, and isn’t Shane supposed to have been doing gun safety shit with her? Isn’t that his whole wannabe jarhead schtick—great, now you’re more upset about Shane!
“I’m glad you’re enjoying those, ” Dale tells you, nodding at your cracker and chuckling. “They’re the part of dinner I rushed to help make, this evening was…something.”
He shrugs, and you remember how Daryl grunted that today was ‘somethin’ else.’
“I suppose having spread the peanut butter on crackers was a small step up from offering it on spoons to everyone,” he muses.
You can’t help but hum, a spoonful of peanut butter sounds scrumptious right now. Makes a good breakfast or snack, too.
“Did Daryl eat enough?” Andrea worries. “Does he need anything?”
“He was asleep when I brought him his supper, but I left my portion of the crackers—minus this one—on his plate.”
“Come to think of it, I’m not sure he’s a fan of peanut butter,” Dale thinks out loud. “I offered him some for breakfast one morning, and now that I recall, he backed away from it.”
Not like peanut butter?
“—Oh my God, what if he’s he allergic?” Andrea breathes.
“Nah, he ate a peanut yesterday. I was havin’ one of the little packets for lunch and he tried one, he can’t be allergic,” you assure them. And surely he doesn’t not like peanuts. That would be so sad!
It gets quiet.
Andrea stares at her feet.
“I can’t believe almost killed him.” She inhales and buries her face in her hands. “I shot someone.”
And Dale is only meaning to ease her discomfort and add some levity—but whether it’s because of the new bond you have with Daryl, or maybe because here’s something of a flashback hitting you from how you’d had to actually shoot a living person a few months ago—when Dale jokes to you, “Like I told her, we’ve all wanted to shoot Daryl,” you become livid.
After two shallow breaths of your inner tea kettle screaming, this sentence: “Guess y’all will want sunshine over here to work on her aim, then,” seethes out as you stand and book it to the fields.
The past several days especially has shown you how wrong your initial conclusions about that man were. He’s a work-in-progress, make no mistake, but shit if he ain’t working on it!
Unlike your brother, who keeps getting worse, who just tried to flirt with Lori by saying he didn’t care about a missing, abused little girl—the same little girl Daryl was willing to almost die to find!
Horrified at Shane and about today; confused, embarrassed, overwhelmed, in pain, overtired, and therefore angry about everything, you walk, hyperventilate, and finally, quietly, start to cry.
Then you accidentally drop the peanut butter cracker and cry harder.
The light swish of your boots in the grass starts to crunch when you reach the sandy part by now-boarded-up well. You walk faster, neither wanting to be near the two-part walker inside nor in the area where apparently, Daryl dumped Merle’s ‘hard stuff,’ as he slurred to you earlier during his trauma assessment.
Soon you’re by the rocks you’d climbed the other night. You step up and sit on a lower one and sniffle another minute or so until the worst of it seems to have spilled out.
When will you get a better handle on your temper?
While you’re busy wallowing in self-pity, you notice Dale’s watch ticking and are reminded that you have to return it.
You stand.
Trudge back with your tail between your legs.
He and Andrea are still on the steps.
“I’m sorry. I let my anger get the better of me,” you tell them softly.
Dale waves you over. “Come back and sit if you like, kiddo. It’s been a long day.”
“It’s been somethin’,” you mumble. “And you aren’t a bad shot, Andrea, I was being snotty.” About an inch to your left and he’d have been a goner, you leave out.
“I’m glad I wasn’t as good a shot as I’d hoped,” she sounds ashamed to say. Her head is still hanging low when she makes a one-sided smile and taps the spot next to her. “Will you be helping with shooting practice tomorrow?”
“If that’s still on, yeah.” Shane was enlisting your help with that, which means you’ll have to act civil…ugh, why worry about tomorrow, tomorrow will worry about itself. You take the watch off, hand it to Dale. “Here you go, Mr. H.”
Tumblr media
“Ah, very good. I would hate to start losing track of the days, then we’d really be in for it. Let’s see…an hour until it’s time to wind her up.”
The breeze carries the smell of woodsmoke with it. You lean against Andrea for a moment, she leans back.
Then Shane comes into view.
When you catch his eye, you shake your head in warning in case he’s thinking about coming over and schmoozing with the others as if he didn’t just f—tomorrow will be better. Things will be better in the morning. He’ll apologize and things will be better and you’ll all have a good day and maybe Sophia will be found.
“Y/N, how about we talk later tonight?” Dale murmurs.
Did he see the face you made at Shane?
Best change the subject. “If we do, is it finally my turn to borrow that awful book I’ve heard so much about?”
“The Case of the Missing Man is not an awful book,” he chuckles back, then shrugs. “Maybe Jimmie Herron’s style isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. My Irma didn’t like his work, either.”
“Y/N, it’s really not great,” Andrea drones.
“Glenn said the same.”
“Amy had me read it so we could, um,” her gaze grows teary. She closes her eyes for a moment, then smiles and shakes her head. “‘Share the trauma.’”
You smile and shake your head, too. That sounds like Amy. “She finished it up in my tent while I was knocked out with a migraine, first thing out of her mouth to me when I woke up was how lame it was. Told me you had first dibs.”
“Then I lent it to T-Dog”
Oh, right. On the first half-week of the trek to Fort Benning, his nose was stuck in it. “He plowed on through it, didn’t he?”
“He wanted the torture to be over.”
You and she snort, Dale just chuckles again. “After you finish it, only Rick, and our young Carl—oh, and, uh your br—and Shane, they’ll be the only ones to not have done so.” He points his finger as if an idea just popped into his head. “But both Jacqui and Lori thought it was good.”
“Bless their hearts, they loved watching soaps, though, what does that tell us?” you giggle to them.
Dale lifts his hands in surrender. “See me later, troublemaker, I’ll lend you my ‘awful’ book and we can talk. I’m gonna hold you to it.” He looks at Andrea. “Young lady, will you be alright?”
“Yes. I'm just not ready to face anyone yet.”
“You know where to find me.”
She rests her arms on her knees and slouches again, stare fixed on nothing much. You go to rest your arms on your knees, too, and are immediately reminded that that particular position is a no-go for you right now.
“Y/N, after what happened with Ed, when did the feeling of wanting to hide go away?”
“Mine was an easier situation," you quietly point out. "And it wasn’t just me, Shane was the one who—" you grimace at the memory. "You were there.”
“Mm.”
To answer her question, “But I guess it wasn’t til, y’know, I faced people again that I got I didn’t have to hide. Shane's sense of 'duty' helped, too. But after I talked to Carol, saw Sophia smile at me, when I knew they were on my side, I didn’t mind so much about the rest.”
“Pretty sure everyone was on your side with that,” she mutters. “For what I just did…”
“Pretty sure even Daryl will, um, well th-that you were tryin’ to protect the group.” …oof.
She lifts her eyebrows. “You aren’t good at lying, Y/N.”
It wasn’t a lie, per se. “Objectively, you were tryin’ to protect the group.”
“I wanted to feel in-control and like I could do it.”
Oh.
Tumblr media
She admitted that? If only your brain could come up with something heartfelt or whatever the situation called for to convey how much humility from someone so confident and self-assured means, instead of this: “I wanna be on your apocalypse survival team.”
A sigh leaves her, and she simply asks, “Just let me know how furious he is with me. I'm dreading how he’ll be when he’s up. I'm a little scared, while I’m being honest.”
“Hm?”
“Daryl.”
“You’re scared of him?”
She eyes you. “We’ve all seen how he can fly off his handle. He waved that knife at Rick and your brother, the axe at Jenner.”
Oh, right. That didn’t even consider cross your mind, that she’d be scared of his reaction to...being shot in the…head. Man, your brain is not working.
It can’t even configure a response again, now you’re just shaking your head like a confused mute.
“You don’t think I have to worry, Y/N?”
“No,” you answer truthfully. “You might would feel better if you saw him, he's probably up an eatin' dinner by now."
"I think now's too soon."
"Trust me, he’s holed up in bed now, he’s about as scary as a sleepy kitten.”
“Kittens have teeth and sharp claws,” she dryly states.
Your mind immediately hops to the exciting fact that you have yet to meet the Greene’s barn cat(s) as you stand and lead Andrea inside through the side door to get to Daryl’s room, waving to Beth reading her book as you pass.
“Beth, this is Andrea. Andrea this is Beth. She’s the one who made the pudding for Carl. She’s Mr. Greene’s youngest.”
Andrea smiles and goes in for a shake. Beth shyly waves, the returning of the handshake ending up as an awkward afterthought.
Sweet as she is, leaving her in peace is probably what she’s hoping for (the poor teenager’s home and front yard is full of wounded strangers).
And you almost make it through the full sentence before gasping in delight when you see what book she has.“We’re just checkin’ on Dar—is that a choose-your-own-adventure book??”
Him
There was this loud noise in another room, woke him for a second. Y/N’s laugh stuck out from the other sounds.
While falling back asleep, he remembered how he'd made them laugh really loud when he ripped that $20 bill that night at the CDC. How they’d belly-laughed so hard at his dumb, tipsy-ass joke had felt so damned unexpectedly good.
He’s back asleep before the amount of pain he’s in can really register.
You
“I’ll bring it over after I talk to Mr. Horvath. He’s the older man in our group, I love him to pieces, you probably saw him in his bucket hat?” you tell Beth.
Jimmy apparently has been poking fun at her reading choose-your-own-adventure books to pass the time because they’re ‘for kids,’ so, lending him The Case of the Missing Man was decided to be the best way to get back at him.
You hope y’all didn’t wake Daryl, it’d gotten a little animated for a minute. To make up for it, you tiptoe when you trek down the hall to his room, Andrea and Beth behind you.
Beth left something of hers in there before he was brought in, but she was hesitant to go in there (which you praised, teenage girls and unknown older men don’t mix). Anyway, she was hesitant because she’s a little, um, well, kinda intimidated by him.
Andrea invited her to join you two, citing “Y/N says he’s as scary as a sleepy kitten right now.”
At his door, you knock lightly and call his name. Wait for an answer, try again.
Upon listening more carefully, his snores sound through the door and let you know he’s still asleep. Slowly, slowly, you open it.
As subtly as you can, you step into room and pull the sheet that had fallen down back over his shoulder before the girls see the scarring.
Daryl stirs, then grunts something incoherent as he flinches, blinks, and tries to turn toward you.
Tumblr media
“It’s just me,” you hush. “I was fixin’ your sheet, it’d fallen.” You tuck the sheet down over his shoulder, gently and slowly. “You’re safe in the Greene’s house. Go back to sleep, sweetheart.”
His muscles relax and he’s back to snoring before the pet name is finished slipping out of your mouth.
Still standing beside him, you watch his side rise and fall, rise and fall. Reminds you how grateful you are. He really does look so helpless and sweet right now.
Tumblr media
You notice Beth peeking back and forth between you and him, but she quickly looks away.
Poor buddy. If the man is this tired, he’ll rest better with closed curtains. He’s big on privacy, besides. Carefully, you start to draw them shut. Andrea joins.
Once they’re all pulled closed and the room is dimmer, she puts her hand on your arm and gently pulls you back into the hall, Beth leading the way. You make sure the door doesn’t make too much noise as it shuts.
“Thanks,” Beth whispers.
“Scary as a sleepy kitten, right?” Oh, that reminds you, “Y’all don’t have a barn cat or two, do you?”
“N-not anymore.”
Aw, that’s sad. “I’m sorry, little one.”
“Oh, um—d-don’t get too close to the big, shuttered barn, okay?” she rushes to add.
Before you can both nod and tell her ‘of course,’ she then stumbles through, “There’s—it’s—the, um—it’s just not real safe!”
She looks so freaked out and nervous that you forget you’re supposed to respond.
Lucky for you, Andrea, smooth as ever, assures her “We’ll let Carl know not play around there,” and starts to chat about how she “steers clear of old barns” ever since she spotted “the biggest rat I’ve ever seen come out of one at a company retreat,” while Patricia comes downstairs hugging to her side what looks like a wedding photo.
Beth scurries away, you make eye contact with Andrea, then Patricia gets your attention.
“Sweet pea, about tonight,” she begins, hands pressed together with her fingertips toward you. “Daryl’s gonna need to be checked on—”
“—Of course. I’ll stay with him. Please do me a list of what to check for and how often?”
“Will do. Try and borrow that big watch again, you’ll need it. Prolly will do well to have somebody else, maybe Carol to help. I'll go find her. You know, there’s an old air mattress in the attic, I’ll have Jimmy fill it up. Just go grab your sleeping bag,” she tells you.
“Thank you!” You’d been hoping for a way to avoid Shane all night. Is this a gift from above or something?
A reminder of, “Don’t use your injured side to carry your sleeping bag in,” from Patricia sends you on your way outdoors to retrieve your stuff.
The air is cooling off as the sun sets. The sky is a hazy orange-pink.
Tumblr media
“Y/N, I didn’t realize,” Andrea says, slowly walking beside you.
“Realize what?”
“You two.”
You, too? Is she talking about your shoulder, maybe? “What’d I do? Do you mean my wrapped arm?”
She peers at you, head tilted to the side. “You and Daryl,” she softly clarifies. “It was Dale who wondered first, after you had to excuse yourself.”
Me and Daryl? “What’d we do?” Perhaps she's referring to the search today? Andrea isn’t one to not speak her mind plainly, you wonder why she’s not being more succinct. She doesn't know about you having shot that guy. Dale has an idea, but he's tight-lipped about it.
“So, you and he…?” she trails off.
?
So, you start to fill her in about the search. “Before Daryl found the doll, we’d—”
—OH WAIT, now you get it!
Finally getting back to the Rimworld-Dandy’s world thing
This time the rare’s (+ a random guy who kinda just showed up and is now dying)
Tumblr media
These guys are somehow the most put together of all the colonies I have (besides the one that isn’t dandy’s world related). Also I forgot how to spell their goddess’ name so the colony’s name ended up being wrong.
Goob got separated from Scraps at some point in their childhood, reunited with her on whatever spaceship they were on, learned he was going to be an uncle, and then got seperated from her again. At least he has his dog (named “Friend”) and a boyfriend. Every single one of these colonies ended up with at least one relationship happening, which is good for naming themes at least. Anyway Goob mainly hunts and takes care of the animals. Also two cows showed up and since I figured out how to make sure they stay alive the colony now has a constant source of food through Lucky the Cow’s milk. Also once more he’s Psychic from that one quest
Hiveling’s are disliked immediately due to their appearance so unfortunately no one likes her. At least she can be the smartest one here…She hasn’t really done much yet but some anomaly’s are occurring and she’s feeding corpses to a corpse tree so here’s to hoping stuff actually happens!
Gigi is another example of me giving characters a full first name. On the third day of The Treaty’s existence a colonist pod dropped off and the person inside turned out to be Gigi’s wife. Her name was Bonilla. She unfortunately didn’t join so that’s just something that apparently happened. I’m now imagining their marriage is kinda strained.
Glisten really did just get all the good looks huh?/j but in all seriousness I love Glisten. He runs the colony, he’s a stoner, he could probably swindle you out of all your money, he’s dating a Catboy, he’s a dragon bard, he kept his original color scheme solely because of the existence of Glammer, his last name is fucking “Solo” like he’s a Star Wars character. What a guy.
Dr Underwood has a first name but I think it’s funnier if I don’t say it until after she’s died. Anyway she’s the reason we’re about to experience eldritch horrors. I thought she was going to be the main researcher on them but as it turns out she’s currently going through Eldiritch dementia so uh…yeah rest in peace Dr Underwood I would have loved to get to know you better, wish I had the thing to stop your mind from falling into shambles
@hinnymicrofic May Day 31: Perfect
Ginny nibbled on the end of her pencil, thinking hard.
Harry thought she looked adorable doing that. He didn’t understand her fascination with doing the Daily Prophet crosswords, but he was absolutely fascinated by watching her do them.
“Class C Non-Tradeable whose shoots, bites, spikes and juice are venomous,” She said aloud. “What do you think, Harry?”
“I’m not Neville, Gin,” he said dryly, but then last month’s case of plant smuggling came to mind. “But try ‘Tentacula’.”
She hummed as she counted the boxes and scribbled in them. “You’re right. Thanks, love.” She leaned over to peck his cheek.
He grinned as he sipped his coffee. He loved their lazy mornings before they had to rush to the department or practice. “No problem.”
“Hmm. . .” She frowned at the next hint, seconds later. “Synonym for ‘flawless’. Seven letters.” She made a triumphant. “Oh, I’ve got it! It’s—”
“Ginevra,” he finished, smirking.
Ginny turned to him and raised an eyebrow. “I’d be upset at being called by my full name if you hadn’t just labelled me perfect.” She was grinning, but she turned solemn quickly. “Harry, you know I’m not perfect.”
“I know you aren’t,” he agreed easily. “You’re hot tempered, vicious, stubborn, and. . . Well, you know how I am.”
“Oblivious, guarded, angry, obsessive?” She said with a smirk.
“Yeah, those things,” they both chuckled. Harry, deciding there wasn’t a better time, feeling his body thrum with nerves, went down on one knee. Ginny gaped.
“Ginny, it’s you and me. It’s you and me, now and forever. We may not be perfect individually, but we can try to make our lives as perfect as they can be, together. I vow to choose you, to support you, to argue and make up with you, to love you every day of the rest of our lives, as I already do, if you let me. Want to make it official?”
“Of course I do,” she said softly, smile nearly blinding. Harry stood up and they kissed, long and deep. The sheer amount of happiness he felt made his head spin, dizzy with joy. “What about a ring?” She asked curiously, cocking her head to the side.
“You can get out your own ring,” Harry grinned. “You know, the one you were planning on proposing – I hope to me – with? I found it.”
Ginny slapped his chest gently, pouting. “First of all, damn you for stealing my thunder.”
“Ouch, Gin, that hurts,” he said, mock pained. “I didn’t steal your thunder! I found it last week! How is it my fault you didn’t propose in that time and I decided this was a good time for me to do it?”
He knew perfectly well he could have waited for the time Ginny wanted to do it, and a part of him did regret that he would now never know the experience she had planned, but well. . . For him, this had been the perfect time. He couldn’t wait any longer. He loved Ginny more than anything, and knowing she wanted to spend the rest of her life with him both honoured and thrilled him enough to be impatient about it.
Anyway, she just ignored his protests.
“Secondly, you’re the most socially oblivious person I know. How in Merlin’s name did you find the ring or know I was going to propose?” She asked incredulously.
“Hey, I’m not that bad,” Harry said defensively. She snorted. “Okay, fine, whatever. I found it when I was humouring Hermione’s latest cleanliness fad. You remember she was going on and on about cobwebs and corners. You’d left the ring in the corner of the bookshelf, so while I was dusting there. . .”
He shrugged. It had actually been a really good hiding place, because neither of them was an avid reader, and Ginny, who always used spells in household work, would probably not have imagined that even if Harry got it in his head to clean that space, he would do it the muggle way rather than with magic. But Harry had grown up Muggle, and for cooking and cleaning, he liked to revert to that.
Ginny sighed. “I cannot believe I forgot you like to do stuff like that the Muggle way,” she muttered to herself. “Or that you actually follow Hermione’s obsessions.”
He shrugged, putting his hands in his pockets. “She’s my best friend.”
“Fair,” Ginny grinned. “Let’s go get the ring.”
“How were you going to propose?” He asked as she got out the ring. Harry smiled at that small life-changing box, feeling happiness in that space of his chest instead of sadness or bitterness or grief, like he usually did with Ginny and his friends.
“Honestly, I wasn’t fully decided. I considered making a really huge deal, like after one of my matches, but I wasn’t sure how you’d feel about a public proposal like that—”
“As long as it was you, I would have been fine,” he insisted. He didn’t like the public scrutiny of him or their relationship, but about their engagement, on their own terms, as long as it was Ginny. . . It sounded amazing.
“You’re sweet,” she said, and kissed his cheek. “Otherwise, I thought about going with you when you guest lecture at Hogwarts, and taking you to one of our old haunts in the name of reminiscing and letting you find the ring there.”
“Wow,” he laughed wryly. “You’re a lot better at this thing than I am.”
“I wouldn’t say this was at all bad,” she smiled at him, eyes sparkling. “You did start with saying I’m perfect, after all. Better keep up the compliments, Potter.”
“Oh, not a problem at all, Weasley.” He looked at the ring she’d slipped onto his finger. It glistened in the light. It was gorgeous. Ginny knew his tastes exactly. “Or soon to be Mrs. Potter. Want an engagement ring too? We can go buy one together. I do not know your ring size.”
“Sure,” she said, admiring the ring on his finger too. “And yes, I will be taking your name.”
“Cool.” He felt his smile was far too large for his continued health. They kissed. “The ring is perfect, Gin.”
“Like me?” She teased, and he groaned playfully. Clearly, he was never hearing the end of that. “Mum’s going to go ballistic.”
Harry winced, remembering how insane Mrs. Weasley had gotten in the lead-up to Bill and Fleur’s wedding. He really did not want to go through that again, this time in context of him and Ginny.
“If we wouldn’t want our whole family there, I’d say we ought to elope,” Ginny sighed wistfully. Harry wished they wouldn’t have to make a whole to-do about it too. Then suddenly an idea struck him. “What if we could elope with all our family and friends there?”
