smoking weed wasn't as intimidating as those '90s anti-drug ads made it out to seem. people like jordan and emma made it look so easy; a bong pressed to their lips with smoke lifting through the glass, or a joint burning between their fingers as they inhaled slowly and long. half of the time they didn't cough or cringe, unless they took a particularly large hit that would make a hand fly to their chest as they cleared their lungs from the heavy smoke.

it looked fun, and marie was right, it was really fucking fun.

most weekends would end up consisting of movie nights, weed, beer and a shit ton of vought-a-burger. it was the perfect recipe for relaxing because it always managed to glue marie right into the bed, her limbs heavy and ready for sleep.

this saturday was just like any other, except emma had decided she wanted to spend a solo night with sam. that was just fine with marie because a night with just jordan was desperately needed.

marie’s body had already felt heavy as she lay on jordan’s bed, arms behind her hand and one knee in the air. just a few minutes prior she had been sitting on the edge of jordan bed, glass to her lips as she took another hit of the flower. it left her mouth dry, eyes heavy and lips curved into a lazy smile.

she’d never felt this high before.

jordan slid onto the bed next to marie, smile on their lips as they laid on their side to watch her. glazed eyes glanced over her body, slowly up and down her sides as they took in the time to admire everything she was. beautiful. so fucking beautiful.

marie met their gaze after a slow blink and her lips parted as if to speak, but no words came out. only the sound of a breathy, weak laugh.

“you’re so cute,” jordan murmured, grinning from ear to ear as they leaned closer, hand moving to caress over her clothed stomach. ringed fingers danced across as lips met with the side of her face, peppering a few gentle kisses along her skin.

“mhm,” she moaned out, fingers curling into her hair as she pressed both of her legs back onto the sheets. her body felt like stone on a grassy surface, like it was slowly being swallowed whole, “so heavy.”

jordan chuckled as marie tried to lift her hand up towards them, aiming to cup their face but instead only getting her to lay a bit awkwardly on her side.

“it feels good, doesn’t it?” they asked softly, wanting her to fixate on the positives of the way her body felt. they’d never seen her smoke so much before, but it was the cutest thing ever.

she answered with a sigh and slight nod, doe brown eyes falling shut as she tilted her head back slightly, “yeah… mouth is dry,” her voice was raspy and she made her point by smacking her lips several times. she felt as dry as a desert, feeling like she could down an eighteen gallon jug of water and still be unsatisfied. eyes unable to open, the rest of her senses heightened as her skin was swallowed up by the blankets and only jordan’s breath could be heard — everything felt vivid.

it was nice.

“don’t move. just relax, baby,” jordan murmured softly, nudging marie until she was resting on her back again. those dark-honey brown eyes opened, only half-lidded as she watched the way they moved over her. they hovered above, hands digging into the sheets on either side of her head. she listened well, not moving as she tilted her head back and parted her lips slightly, an open invitation for jordan, “so cute.” the words were so quiet that marie almost didn’t hear, instead her attention was fixated on the way they could feel jordan’s warm coffee-scented breath mingling with hers.

the anticipation was killer, but neither were in any rush. they both needed to savour every second of this moment before the high fluttered away.

“kiss me,” marie demanded, though her voice harboured no sharpness or impatience, only offering the consent of what she craved. her slightly rutting hips making her need known.

jordan obliged without any hesitation, lips connecting in a slow, languid kiss. they moved one hand to clasp into marie’s, fingers interlocking as their bodies rested together. her free hand lifted up to press against the side of their neck, then slowly to run through their short hair at the back of their head.

a pulsing sound echoed through the room and soon fingers were tangled into longer curls and the body on top of marie was lighter, able to press against her without too much weight.

jordan licked at marie’s lower lip, silently asking for entrance that she gave without further thought. her lips parted and their tongue slid into their mouth, leisurely exploring and tasting the mint gum that she’d been chewing before they both smoked. hands tightened together as they both had begun to run out of breath, but neither wanted anything to stop.

this was the most pleasure marie had felt in a long time, the way jordan’s body pressed against hers, how their tongue danced with her own or how they had began to roll their hips together in careful, unhurried movements. she felt so appreciated and loved, solely by jordan’s touch.

“don’t stop,” she whispered against their lips, eyes fluttering open as they pulled back. there was no audible answer, only a slight curve of lips before jordan’s lips had attached to her jaw and continued to give her everything they had. those lips trailed down her neck, leaving nips and bites, then over her clothed chest and stomach until clothes were being tugged down her hips.

jordan was an expert of pleasure, in marie’s mind. nothing would beat the way they made her squirm and cry out in pleasure, especially when she’d smoked so much weed that every touch felt a thousand times more intense. this night was no different, leaving marie a disheveled, panting mess.

Max - like I said, he was patient with me both times I had 1:1 time with him, and indulged me while being super babie about it. First time was when he was coming down the stairs, I stood in my spot and asked if he can sign my hat, which he did then as he went to give the sharpie back, I said this one too (for Emma), and he did that one! Second time was on Sunday, and it was as he was walking in. He is my big broad smiley BABIE his smile is so cute.

Charles - I only had one moment where we met, talked, and gave him the bracelet. He was in good spirits this morning! Was super busy the other days.

Carlos - again, I only met him this morning and it was super quick but he's as hot as ever. He looks a little lost sometimes but that's ok :'')

Lewis and George - lol so my brother is a huge Lewis fan and asked if I can get him something signed. I was very skeptical, but I bought a bucket hat in the hopes I'd find them. George was so easy. He's fucking TALL and lanky. Lewis was tough, obviously, and I did not want to be a freak and ran after him and hunted him down. So I asked the girlie at the Merc garage what she thought was best, and she said to just stay standing and ask as he approached - which is what I did. I was standing near Merc, and as he was walking closer, I asked out loud if it was ok with him to sign this hat for my brother. He didn't say anything but took the pen and hat, signed and gave it back. He has AT LEAST 3 ~undercover security guards with him so if they feel like you're gonna be insane, they're always ready to step in - which is good!! It was a nice, quick fan interaction.

Daniel - DARLING!! It was all on Friday, he was walking with Blake (whose professional job title must be 'to walk around') and he wasn't being hounded, so I approached and asked for a signature. As he was signing and we were walking with them, I told him it's good to have him back, that it hasn't been the same without him, and he said "Thanks, I appreciate that" then as he handed the hat back to me, I said "my best friend (@blamemma) is gonna freak the fuck out" and he honk laughed :')

Pierre - Alpine and Ferrari's hospitality were in the same like..block so we easily saw them. As Pierre walked in, we asked if we can get pics, and he waited for us both, was so cute. Then on Sunday, we were hanging upstairs at Ferrari when he went up and I said "Hi Pierre" and he gave a cute lil smile!! Then at one point, he was coming out, and I asked him if he'd record a quick video for a friend who's a huge fan (@accio-ricciardo), he asked for her name and I just recorded it. He genuinely was one of the highlights of the weekend. SOOOOO cute and sweet lmao.

Bonus: Pato - he was sooooo cute and came out of Mclaren hospitality and took pics with us. He's so good looking.

Fright krewe EP 12

7.5/10 Fright Krewe is the story of 5 teens from New Orleans being brought into the world of Voodoo by the Queen of Voodoo herself to stop an ancient demon from wrecking chaos on their town with the help of the Lwa who have chosen them. 

I enjoyed the show overall especially with getting some more knowledge about the Lwa and other spirits and creatures. The problem I do have with the show mostly has to do with it begin the age of streaming and budge restrictions. it feels a little empty despite being set in New Orleans in terms of the back ground shots. The animation also feels very stiff at times as well and makes the characters come off as a bit emotionless when the voices aren't making up with it.

I also would have preferred if that whole main cast was of black kids instead of it being 3 out of the 5 of them seeing as Voodoo is a African based religion and culture. I couldn't really tell what Missy was ethnicity speaking and they could have easily made Stanley afro-latino too. And finally the show felt way too rushed and short in the first season since we're not really given time to explore this world way more in depth especially when it comes to the spirits and monsters that inhabit the world. Still an enjoyable show but I wish it was given more time to flesh it's self out. 

A sign of affection EP.12

8.5/10 Ahhhhhhhhh!! This show is so cute and nice and comforting for me. The way Itsuomi takes the time to make sure Yuki is comfortable and that's she's at peace makes my heart melt. And it's really nice that so many people in Yuki life take the time to learn hot to communicate with her and be accommodating to her needs.

And I would have given the show a 10/10 had it not been for the whole side plot with Emma and Shin. I didn't care to much for their story in general since didn't overlap too much with the main plot also cause their romance wasn't really giving anything. Loved all the side characters and getting a more in depth look into how deafness effect people depending on a multitude of things 

Cherry Magic! Thirty Years of Virginity can make you a wizard? EP.12 

9/10 Oh my god this show is so good and wonderful. I love that it shows a realistic deception of how some people may struggle to communicate how they feel to their partners. Along with how Adachi had came to depend on his powers too much when it came to telling Kurosawa how he felt at times.

Also adore that they talked about their relationship and got through the rough patches instead of doing the miscommunicate trope that I hate so much. Their matching rings and moving in together at the end made me so happy that my face kinda of hurted. Wish we got to see more of Minato and Tsuge relationship but i could see if there's a side manga for that. Overall really good watch and will come back to watch again one day. 

Tadaima Okaeri EP 12

8.5/10 When I heard about this manga getting an anime I was surprised and excited since it was one I used to re read a lot a while back. And to no one surprise I loved the show as well, not only is is super cute and just a all around very good comfort show this has to be one of my favorite deception of the omeagverse I've seen. In an average one they tend to only knowledge some of the problems that come with the hierarchy in the world but here we cover a lot more.

One being that things like birth control, as Masaki has to take a shot since the pills he was used to taking had stop being affective. They show the side effects of him doing so which is a nice touch I really like as it reflects the real life struggles people go through when trying different forms of birth control. 

And how someone like Mochizuki might feel being around alphas as omegas are treated as second rate citizens. Though we dont spend too much time on that story line it was nice that they were being realistic on how someone who doesn't have the support system they can depend on may feel in that situation. Overall love the show and kinda hope the mangaka comes back and adds more to the universe on day 

Twilight out of focus EP 12

7.5/10 Like a lot of shows I've been watching this year I had a really great time with this. It so nice to see that not only are we getting more queer anime with good budget to show off some great animation, but also something super cute and endearing to see unfold. I liked all of the cast including the reoccurring characters that popped up here and there. Through the 3 couples we had I have to say Mao and Hisahi were my favorite but the other two were nice.

My only complaint I have is that everything went at rapid speed which I can't really blame the show for since more then likely the manga went at a neck breaking pace. Also loved the transition shots from TV to wide screen like the movies. I even looked liked a film term when it came up if I wasn't already familiar with it. Also loved that we started the show with Mao and Hiashi and ended it with them too. Overall a really good and easy watch and wouldn't mind coming back to it again.

Wind breaker EP 13

9/10 Really enjoyed this show and the premise that it laid out. Our main lead Haruka is a nice slight change to the usual lead we have in these types of series. Someone who feels the need to be by themselves cause of how the people around him treated him terribly let a mark on him. But Haruka learning to get closer to other characters and depend on others and seeing that getting/being the top dog isn't as what it seems makes him feel a lot more fleshed out.

The show also does a great job of getting you to like and get attached these characters very quick and craving more interactions between them. The fight choreography is some of the best I've seen in any show ever as each punch and kick feels like it has weight to it. Along with a great ost and plenty of good build up I see this being a sleeper hit for the year. Hate that we left off at a cliff hanger but will be seating for more next year.

8/10 Ah yes one of the most iconic horror animes to ever exist. Higurashi when they cry is most definitely the show 13 year old you looked up for it most gore scenes but if you sit down to actually watch it way more then that. Despite the fact that I've watched many videos explaining the storyline and backgrounds of the characters I couldn't help but be fully immersed in the story. Finding out more details about the little rural village was slow but worth.

And coming to connect the dots yourself as more of the time loops happened made me feel good. And you really get to love these characters and understand why they did the things they did. I can most definitely see why this is such a staple in the anime horror space and I can't wait to start watching Kai.

the bell finally rang, signaling home time. you were packing your bag and getting ready to exit the classroom when all of the sudden, you felt two taps on your shoulder. as you looked behind, it was lyney masking his face with a warm smile. “hey y/n, me and some of my friends are gonna hangout after this. you wanna come?” he asked with a nice tone. you were taken aback by the question and needed a long time to decide. “hmm.. umm..” you were indecisively thinking wether or not go.. you don’t want to attract anyone’s attention by hanging out with him. but at the same time, you knew that he understands you and perhaps the best time to make friends? you finally said ‘yes’ and lyney lead you the way to meet up with his friends first. his friends greeted him with their special handshake, you were pretty grateful that noone really paid attention to your presence. that’s until one of his friend pointed you out “who’s this, lyney?” you could feel everyone’s eye staring at you. you were starting to fidget with your hand when lyney came closer to you. “oh this is y/n! she’s really kind, we both sit next to each other at class” by the compliment that lyney made, you blushed a bit. everyone started to introduce themselves to you and you shook hands with them as well. “your penguin keychain is so cute, y/n!” emma was really admiring the penguin keychain dangling on your bag. “thankyou..” you tried to make eye contact as best as you can. “where did you get it?” “um.. i think i got it from the mall” “oooh! cute!” emma had a cheerful vibe that you found cheering and somehow gave you a bit of motivation to talk to people.

afterward, you all went to the ice cream shop to chat while having some ice creams. during the walk, you were walking on the back since everyone was talking pretty loudly and it made you a bit nervous. ofcourse, lyney noticed and tried to make a conversation with you, “y/n, are you excited for our camping trip?”. with a shot, you said anything that came up in your head “yeah, i think it’ll be fun since we get to make s’mores!” you felt nice after saying that. “mm i guess you like s’mores too, huh?” lyney chuckled at the end then you nodded as a response. after a few minutes, you all arrived at the ice cream shop. “what are you going to order, y/n?” lyney asked while looking you then at the ice cream flavors. you too, looked at the flavorz “hmm probably classic chocolate” “don’t you want to try this rocky road?” lyney added an idea. “it does look yummy. alright i’ll try that one” you gave lyney a smile “awesome! i’ll get mint choco chips and cookie dough”. you ordered your ice cream in a cone, same for lyney and most of the others.

you decided to sit next to the window while lyney sit infront of you. as the others were talking about random stuffs, you were having a nice conversation with lyney. “is the ice cream good?” he asked, “mhm! this might be my new fav flavor” you were happy you got the rocky road. “i knew it! my recommendation didn’t fail to change your mind, did it?~” he wiggled his eybrows up and down while you giggled at his awfully trully circumstance. “wait y/n did you get rocky road too?” max asked who was sitting besdies lyney. you were scared that if you say ‘yes’ he would be mad you got the same thing as him, but you knew lying will turn things worse. “umm.. yes, i did” you tried to avoid eye contact with anyone. “cool! we got the same flavor! cheers!” your thought was the opposite as max was happy as you both were twinning.

the hangout didn’t go as bad as you expected, you got to know lyney better. most of all, he made you comfortable making a conversation with him and small ones with his friends.

saving face (2004) dir. alice wu - MUST WATCH for all the gaysians out there! it's about a closeted chinese-american lesbian and her traditionalist mother, and centers on their relationship as well as both women's individual struggles in love and life. it's primarily a comedy but it has its serious moments, and i absolutely loved every second. racial and cultural familial expectations are an element present throughout this movie, and that's one of the reasons i like it so much. but i think it's presented in a way so that people who aren't chinese can understand! also, the relationship between the mc and her love interest is so engaging, and it really captures the struggle of many queer relationships where one person is more "out" than the other. the first site i found that has this movie in good quality was 0123movie.net!

next up is the incredibly true adventure of two girls in love (1995) dir. maria maggenti!! this movie was so good i audibly yelled at one point. although it's a lesser-known indie movie with a low budget, it has a raw honesty and heart to it that modern queer cinema often lacks (cough cough euphoria cough cough love simon). i was absolutely sold on the two mcs' chemistry and the progression of their relationship, and i loved how their blossoming first love was portrayed so authentically complete with all the rough edges and awkward glances. randy and evie were so endearingly dorky and cute, and i related to them SO bad. the heartfelt depiction of a multiracial sapphic teen love story really made me burst with joy. also a note to anyone who watches: trigger warning for pedophilia, lesbophobia & the d slur, verbal abuse, and threats of physical abuse. i can elaborate on these if anyone wants! btw a lot of more popular p1rating sites don't have this movie, but one that does is braflix.ru!

we all know her. we all love her. it's bottoms (2023) dir. emma seligman!! truly one of the best satirical works of our generation /srs. it's about two lesbians who end up starting an after-school fight club to lose their virginity before the end of senior year, and the shenanigans that ensue. bottoms does not take itself seriously at all, and lots of things make no sense plot-wise, but that is exactly what enables it to be so hilarious and silly. class periods are less than five minutes long, there are curse words in the school announcements, murders occur that are never addressed. and it's so FUN!!! a super good movie to watch with a group of friends that are as gay as you are. trigger warning for blood (lots of it) and comedic use of homophobic slurs. you can watch it on most p1rating sites but one that i've seen has it is myflixerz.to!

fourth, the half of it (2020) dir. alice wu! another masterpiece by miss wu, this time about a nerdy introverted high school girl who gets roped into ghostwriting love letters from a cheerful jock to the hot girl he has a crush on, and she ends up falling for the crush as well as they become friends. i watched it a couple years ago and rewatched it last year, and i loved it both times! i really appreciate how it's a story about friendship above all else and shows how platonic love can be just as important (if not more) than romantic love. and from what i remember, the filmography is also really good. this one is also available on myflixerz.to!

last but not least is kase-san and morning glories (2018) dir. takuya sato! anime movie about the budding romance between a shy gardening enthusiast and the charismatic ace of the girls' track team. this is a perfect movie if you want to watch something very low-stakes and laid-back! you can watch it on allmanga.to (this site has no ads on mobile which is so nice). i watched the subbed version but there is a dub as well. this movie is based off the manga of the same name, which finished in 2017, but there is also a currently ongoing sequel series about the couple's post-high school lives! if you're interested in reading that after watching the movie, feel free to reach out and i'll send you the website i read it on.

NPMD thoughts! (SPOILERS UNDER CUT)

oh my god. the jump in quality from the digital ticket to the actual edited version is INCREDIBLE. fucking LOVED the details of costumes, the set, the lighting, the writing on the panels... everything was fantastic! starkid has come such a long way and it was incredible to see the seats filled for the show in the edited version!!!

spoiler thoughts, would love to hear what other people thought! warning for rambling and a lot of caps and excessive punctuation since i can't control my emo-shuns after watching a starkid show, as always 🤪

i was really hoping for the boy jerri/girl jerri moment AND the coffee shop bloopers from the digital ticket to be in this one, but every performance is unique and i'm glad we got to experience the new hatchet-town cameos!

one thing i really miss about these new starkid recordings is that we don't get the stage bows :( i would have absolutely loved if they did something akin to TGWDLM in black friday and NPMD, where the credits roll over the footage of the cast bowing and the claps! the bows at the end of a show are always so fun, it's a great moment of catharsis for everyone and seeing the cast smiling and happy is something i missed here. ESPECIALLY WITH THE ENERGY IN THE HOMECOMING DANCE

will can STEP ON ME as Max. he's so meta and plays the part so well! apparently the role was rumoured to possibly be Jeff's but I'm so glad Will was Max. we needed the fresh blood onstage in the hatchetverse!

it's so incredible Bryce was able to perform onstage and that Jae got a cameo! HELL YES TO THE NIGHTMARE TIME GANG <3

really wish bryce and kim had bigger roles in this musical, especially bryce as before the digital ticket came out starkid hyped her up so much on the socials. BUT SHE NAILED HER VOCALS and when everyone started screaming/applauding when she hit That Note!!!!! YES!!!!!!

compared to my first impressions from the digital ticket, this is a huge step up. some songs were a bit hit or miss, but man i was crying at the end about peter and steph. love how, like the other two hatchetverse musicals, the ending note was fucked up! that being said tho i am keen for starkid to move onto another potential parody OR a new IP outside of the hatchetverse. i'm super keen to see what the future holds for the company! it's absolutely on my bucket list to watch a starkid show live now <3

Marathoned through what I can find of season 2, here's my thoughts so far:

Nichelle is a queen, an icon, literally the first total drama character to show self-improvement and character growth without being an antagonist. Can't wait to see her continue to show up everyone, though I wish we got to see her form actual friendships instead of just girlbossing 24/7.

Mkulia is more canon than literally all of the relationships. They're so fun to watch as antagonists, and I can't wait to see where the cheating arc goes. The fact that they've shared confessions since they formed their alliance? The lesbians are eating good this season. Also Julia in particular is just really well written and voice acted? She sounds like an actual teenager her age. It's 👌 chefs kiss.

Speaking of the cheating arc, the rift between Bowie and Raj because of the team's under-the-table methods is such an on-the-nose way to play it. The "boyfriend kisser" arc of World Tour handled a literal cheating scandal super poorly, but this season is handling its' 'cheating' scandal really well in terms of how it dissolves trust in a relationship. Can't wait for Bowie's guilt to reach it's apex, we never know what he'll do when it does.

Raj really does see the best in Bowie, unfortunately his glasses are a little too rose-tinted to see that Bowie is more than happy to continue enabling Julia and MK, so long as they keep winning. I'm not sure if this will lead to a breakup or a heart-to-heart, honestly this series could go either way, but it isn't called Total Drama for no reason. Keeping my fingers crossed that it'll work out.

Another relationship I unfortunately saw coming from a mile off is RipAxel, though I can't say I'm upset about it. A lot of people saw Axel as queer, myself included, and Ripper is, well, Ripper. But they had a season one Duncney vibe going on in Axel's brief run last season. Something about the misogynistic guys (Ripper called himself an alpha at one point?) and the competitive latinas 🤷‍♀️.

Their actual dynamic this season is different enough from what I thought it'd be that it's refreshing. I guess it works in a very Roger and Jessica Rabbit type of way (if Jessica Rabbit was a butch teenager), and if you're third eye is opened enough to see it as yuri it's a win. (The poetry scene was really sweet, in a way.)

Prialeb came out of nowhere though. For a character who was essentially a Justin clone last season, I really do like the direction Caleb's character is going in. He's got that competitive mindset, and is trying to flatter Priya into an alliance by being friendly/flirty, but the narrative doesn't really make it clear if he's aware that he's manipulating her Alejandro style or if he really is just oblivious enough to see his approach as platonic/friendly. Holding out for some aro or ace (or aroace 🤭) representation with Caleb if they go with the second narriative, but the "only ever had one girlfriend" line hints more towards him being gay than ace.

I'm predicting Priya's foil being her crush of Caleb. It's gonna lead to her elimination. I love the fact that that, despite being hypercompetent thanks to her upbringing, she's terrible with things like relationships and feelings.

I'm super happy that Emma and Chase ended things again. They're terrible for each other. Also, Emma was way less likable this season? IDK if that's just me. Chase was never likable but he's at least funny to watch, especially when he's taking Ls.

Lauren's antagonist arc is brewing at Playa Des Losers (if that's still a thing?) so she's definitely coming back in the merge Izzy style. That, or she'll pull an Ezekiel and sneak back onto the island.

Millie's brief character arc about learning not to take advantage of people was cute, if undeveloped, but I can't say I liked her this season. Damien didn't deserve what she did, but he did need the reality check it gave him. And some therapy to help his fear of everything- the guy's an anxious wreak, and it's not so much endearing as it is pitiful to watch.

Wayne and Raj are my two beautiful sons who deserve the world. Zee has been delightful as always. No need for elaboration.

Chris is delightful this season. All of his lines are great, and what little we see of Chef is golden too. Good job to the writing team for our favourite geriatric couple.

My only real gripe with this season, which has been more and more apparent since season 1 back in 2007, is that the characters don't really feel like they're in a summer camp. Back in the OG island we had character interactions and dynamics outside of challenges that helped set the tone of the series; it felt like they really were teenagers at a summer camp, the challenges and eliminations came second to the character plotlines.

Whereas now, most of every episode is based in the challenge itself. Every elimination is based around something that character does during a challenge. Most meaningful interactions happen during a challenge. It feels more like a gameshow than the reality tv it's supposed to imitate. The only non-competition based conflict we get to watch is Emma and Chase's thing, which is more akin to influencers beefing than two teenagers at a camp having a rocky relationship (see: Duncney S1, Gwent S2 briefly, whatever happened with Gwourtney). I wish we got to see more of the character as they are, than the characters while they're actively in a challenge.

Sorry for the length of this but I wanted to go through and find particular parts of your series that I really liked and show how I really appreciate the little things you add. Turns out that list was way too long after just one part so switched it to some quotes that I found funny/made me laugh xxx

She snorted. Every time she saw Quinn, he was in a variation of three outfits: jeans and a jacket, athletic wear, or a game day suit.  Okay but had to bring up how accurate this is, have you seen this man in the past like fortnight? He has worn the same suit to every game, I mean iconic for sure but dude come on aha

The interaction with Quinn and Emma when she asks if he's slept with Sarah yet is also so cute and funny to me aha

They ended with a very off key “Yooooou!” and the camera turned back to the front, showing Elias with a teasing, mischievous glint in his eyes, “Happy birthday, Sarah!” he said. “Thanks for making Huggy bearable!” 

“You keep in touch with everyone who was there that night?” he joked, hoping she would see how ridiculous her worry was. 

“Gee, thanks, Hughes,” she said, flatly. “I had no idea ice is slippery.”

“Can you hold me?” he asked. It came out quieter than he thought it would. Okay this one isn't funny but this was from the first one I ever read and remember this being the point when I was like 'aww this is cute af' 🥹 just how he was clearly so in love with this person and not afraid to be seen in whatever state

“If you want me to go back to sleep, straddling my thigh isn’t the way to do it,” he teased.

I don't even know what to say. I feel so very blessed. Every time I get a message like this - scratch that, this is the first message with so much detail I've received - it just kills my imposter syndrome a little bit more. Thank you for that. I really can't even express how much it means to me.

I'm happy to share my wip list. I've put it below the cut in case someone doesn't want to be spoiled. A caveat, though: some of these pieces are farther along than others. Some are 99% finished, but I'm waiting for a little more context before posting them. Some have barely been started, while others have a good amount of work done on them. I write fics on the side of my regular, full-time job and living my life, so sometimes progress is slow going.

I honestly kind of forgot about Quinn giving Sarah that puck.

She definitely has the puck Quinn gave her out on display. It's on her desk, used mostly to hold her place in/as a weight to hold open her text books when she's studying.

Shinji

Definitely has a Blastoise who can Mega Evolve. Ever since he was a kid and it was a Squirtle, they dreamed of being firefighters.

He'd also have a strong fighting type like Machamp that could help lift debris from ruined buildings and a ground type like Rhyhorn that can pull heavy equipment.

He wouldn't really battle much, instead using his Pokémon for search and rescue operations.

Yuri

He'd have psychic types with space themes (Solrock, Lunatone, Cosmog, Elygem, etc.), and maybe a steel type like Klinklang since he's an inventor.

One of his lifelong dreams is to witness a Deoxys in the wild, which is the main reason why he does space training.

Would always be chivalrous to the Pokecenter nurses and never pass up a battle with a lady if she wishes to have one (even if he loses, he'll praise them).

Yuki

I think it's confirmed that he'd have a Charmander as a starter and evolve an Eevee into Flareon, so definitely lots of fire-types.

He's kinda average at battling, knowing general type strengths and weaknesses.

But he couldn't tell you what's super effective against poison even if his life depended on it.

Oh, and he's not great at setting up Pokémon stats, either. Every time he does, his team gets knocked out anyways.

Shinji keeps encouraging him to get a fighting-type and train with it.

Teruya

His father owned a shiny Klefki who kept the keys to his home, office, and the Otori Mart secured.

Since his passing, Teruya has kept Klefki under his care, having it safeguard security keys for the Kisaragi Foundation.

Had a Meowth and Cubone who helped him with the business, but after DRA's events the latter has evolved into Marowak (due to sympathizing with him over the traumatic losses he experienced and inspiring him to keep going).

Meowth stays the same but is very smart and helps him with financial department stuff.

Hibiki & Kanade

They'd have Pokémon that share themes of duality (ie Doduo and Scovillain) and music-themed ones like the Toxtricity variants or Loudred.

They're best known for hosting concerts where their Pokémon are band members, providing extra music or background vocals that get the audience pumped.

Funny enough, their individual Pokémon teams have natures that match their owners (ie Hibiki's being feisty).

Hibiki's dream is to catch a Meloetta but is forever jealous that Kanade claimed to have seen a shiny one in the wild but failed to catch it.

Hajime

A native to Alola who has a Machoke and Incineroar that both use Fightnium Z crystals in-battle.

As a Machop and Litten, they came to the hospital where he was sick and formed a close bond with him right away when everybody else abandoned him.

After being healed by Divine Luck, Hajime has trained with the duo ever since, winning lots of matches and making a name for himself across many regions.

He dreams of opening his own fighting-type gym.

Emma

Probably owns "cute" Pokémon that pack a punch, like Sylveon, Primarina, and Galarian Rapidash.

Also has a Ditto who helps her in the movie biz by transforming into a stunt double or an extra character if needed. It actually loves being a star alongside her.

Has definitely gone to Hoenn to participate in beauty contests.

Not crazy about battles but if you cross her, her team can and will destroy you.

Nikei

Would most likely be a Pokémon researcher, writing articles on mythical/legendary sightings and theories.

Wants to catch one himself but he feels ill-prepared for the journey.

I can see him owning some Fossil Pokémon (pre-gen 8), and normal types like Furret, Linoone, and Eevee.

If he had to choose a legendary to catch, he'd probably pick Wo-Chein since he learned it has the tablets of ruin, wondering how much history is recorded on it.

Hates Mikado for somehow getting an Ultra Beast and refusing to let him study it.

Iroha

She'd have a Smeargle 100%.

They've been childhood friends and the only Pokémon companion she's ever had, making art together and inspiring each other with their works.

She took a trip to Paldea in the summer, wanting to expand her team to prove she's not a weak trainer.

There, she caught a Tinkatuff and a Shroodle that became a sassy Grafaiai who likes to mess with Smeargle's artwork.

She doesn't have the heart to force them into any battles.

Mikado

Definitely has Meowscarada. It just makes sense.

I can also see him owning a Blacephalon, Murkrow, Delphox, and Alakazam to help him with crime performances.

He just taught all his Pokémon how to be petty thieves, stealing things from the audience when they least expect it.

Is still on the run from the Foundation, but his Pokémon are good at making getaways.

You would think he's a champion, but he doesn't really care to become one.

Kokoro

Owns psychic types who are in tune to people's natures/personalities and can make predictions, such as Indeedee, Espeon, Gardevoir, Xatu, Abra , and/or Hatenna.

Similar to Nikei, she's just a researcher. But she prefers studying the interactions between humans and Pokémon.

Is willing to battle, but only just to observe the kind of bond her opponent shares with their team.

Winning or losing is of no concern to her.

Sora

Owns a single Shiny Eevee who for some reason cannot evolve no matter the time of day, friendship level, or evolution stone given.

She believes that, like herself, it's just struggling to find its identity and purpose.

So the two just go on adventures together, seeking out legendary/mythical Pokémon.

Would probably have a Cinccino on her team as a friend for Eevee.

BONUS:

Utsuro

Would have a team of Pokémon deemed difficult to capture and ones that only evolve with high friendship, succeeding at both thanks to his luck.

Not only that, but his 'mons would have the perfect nature, stats, and IVs.

I can see him owning a Mewtwo, Lucario, Jirachi, Silvally, Clefable (who only knows Metronome, yet always gets the exact moves she needs to win the battle), and an Absol with the ability Super Luck.

He'd rise to the champion ranks really quick, but get bored of it just as fast and pawn it off to someone else.

Even shiny hunting becomes ridiculously easy for him, as he'd trade them away to people just because he can.

i’m not kidding i have so many prompts that came before this that i need to write but the second i saw this i RAN to write it. party games are one of my fav tropes to read so i was super excited to try writing it myself- hope i did it justice! (pun not intended)

side note: i couldn’t decide what song starts playing on dylan’s phone at that part so some options if you were curious are: ‘dark red’ by steve lacy, ‘black out days’ by phantogram, and ‘lost the game’ by two feet.

It was one of those nights that Mr. H would leave the camp for the night, supposedly to go on some sort of “supply run”.

The kids were asleep in the main lobby of the lodge, sleeping bags strewn across the floor and fairy lights draped across the walls in a half assed attempt to make it seem more cozy.

The counsellors, however- they were upstairs in one of the spare bedrooms, sat in a circle on the floor. An empty beer bottle sat in the centre.

And Dylan was practically vibrating out his skin.

Was it from excitement or fear? He had no idea. Maybe both. Definitely both.

The reason for his nerves being that a certain hotter than hell camp counsellor sat across from him had miraculously agreed to join in their game of spin the bottle.

Dylan wasn’t a religious guy- but fuck did he thank whatever deity had his back when Ryan hadn’t immediately dismissed the idea of spin the bottle.

Chewing his lip anxiously, Dylan snuck a glance at the pretty boy sat in front of him, only to be hit with the realisation that he had already been looking at him with a…curious gaze.

Dylan immediately flicks his head to the girl that had suggested the game who was sat next to him, Emma. Having second thoughts, he leans over to her and whispers-

“Hey- Em?”

“Mhm?”

“Are you…100% sure this is a good idea?”

“Course’ I am.”

“Okay because I personally feel like I’m gonna throw up and-“

“Shh,” she hushes, placing a slender finger over his lips, “I told you I’d help you out. This is me helping you out.”

Dylan looks back at her with pained eyes, whining before running his hands down his face in defeat.

Emma suddenly claps her hands, the chatter in the room going silent, before she proudly announces,

“Okay losers! It’s game time.”

It had been…three or so rounds? Jacob had kissed Nick on the cheek (who had gone far too red at the “No homo” that Jacob had blurted immediately after), a very shy Abi had given Emma a chaste kiss on the lips before scurrying back to her seat, and Kaitlyn had outright refused to kiss Jacob because she had “childhood best friend rights”- whatever that meant.

Ryan was bored as hell.

It’s not like he’d expected anything all too interesting to happen anyway. He wasn’t even sure why he’d agreed in the first place, but something deep down in his gut had convinced him to do so.

And it definitely was not because of the way Dylan had been looking at him all night.

He wasn’t sure if the other boy was aware, but every so often he’d catch his eyes staring at him, filled to the brim with what Ryan could only describe as…want.

Suddenly, Ryan feels an elbow in his side, Kaitlyn nodding her head towards the bottle in the centre.

Guess it was his turn.

Wordlessly, he leans forwards and spins the bottle, his eyes glued to it the entire time.

Then it stops.

On the other end of the green bottle in from of him, was the boy that had been on his mind the entire night.

Dragging his gaze upwards, Ryan found himself looking at a very shocked Dylan. His cheeks had flushed pink all the way to the tips of his ears, doe brown eyes wide, and jaw slack in awe.

It was cute.

“Well?”

Dylan is snapped out of his thoughts, looking up at the boy ahead of him.

“Are you sure…?”

“Pretty sure it’s the rules of the game, man,” Ryan replies with an almost-smile and furrowed brows.

The entire room is silent, save for the music softly playing from Dylan’s phone on the wooden floor. Everyone else in the room is just as eager as the boys themselves for this month long tension to finally break.

It was about damn time.

Dylan nods his head and crawls towards Ryan before sitting with his legs tucked under himself in front of him.

He was overwhelmed to say the least, eyes darting frantically to examine the arcs and arches of the beautiful boys face sat in front of him.

“So do you want me to-“

Dylan’s abruptly cut off by the sensation of Ryan’s hands on his hips, pulling him forwards until he’s sat on his lap.

Holy fucking shit.

A yelp slips out of Dylan at the sudden movement, and then he’s looking down at Ryan’s face. His hands don’t move, their position on his hips seemingly permanent.

“Is that okay?” Ryan whispers, cocking his head slightly to the side.

“Yeah- Yeah definitely-“

“Cool.”

“…Cool.”

For a moment they’re just staring at eachother, Ryan focusing on the way he can feel Dylan’s body move with his cautious breaths- Dylan focusing on the way Ryan’s hands tighten slightly on his hips.

“Can I kiss you?” Ryan whispers.

“Please.”

Dylan leans down slowly to capture Ryan’s lips, one hand raising to cup his jaw and the other resting on the curve of his neck.

They both exhale into the kiss, minds fogging as they begin to allow their lips to move whilst a simulation is hum of satisfaction escapes the both of them.

Ryan’s thumb slips under the hem of Dylan’s shirt, lightly grazing the soft skin above his waistband. Dylan gasps, allowing Ryan to slip his tongue into his mouth, deepening the kiss.

His hand tightens on the back of Ryan’s neck, a feeble attempt to ground himself. He unintentionally presses down onto Ryan’s lap, to which Ryan responds to with a deep groan and-

Oh.

They abruptly pull apart, eyes wide and faces flushed.

“You guys done?” Kaitlyn quips, a smirk etched onto her face.

“Y-Yeah we’re- we’re good. Fantastic, actually,” Dylan manages to stutter out.

Ryan chuckles at the flustered state of the boy, and Dylan is enamored. He grins back at him, before suddenly becoming very aware of their suggestive position and almost leaping off his lap in sudden embarassment.

As he retreats back to his position, the game resumes- although the two boys couldn’t be less involved in their surroundings, sneaking shy glances at each other for the rest of the game.

Dylan really hoped they’d be doing more of that for the rest of the summer.

Sweden: Patrik Kittel on Touchdown. [Quaterback] i like the look of the Quaterback babies. they’re solid and short backed and are just kinda cool to see in a discipline full of big long horses. james bond music, huh? okay. froth and gape. the thing about doing this by watching replays is i’ve already heard about the blue tongue scandal, so i’m paying extra close attention to Touchdown’s mouth. oh piaffe pirouettes are cool. nice gaits. very quiet feeling test so far - probably helps that the temperature is down into the 60s (17C ≈ 62F). tempi ones are some of my favorites to watch. tight tight frame. saddle looks like it has wither clearance at least. i caught maybe a glimpse of the blue tongue?

Poland: Sandra Sysojeva on Maxima Bella. [Millennium] mare! she’s so pretty. and so young. it’s a little ridiculous to have an 8yo competing in gp dressage (espec olympic gp dressage!). froth and gape. nice gaits and nice open frame. very flashy on the front end, less so behind. the neck on this mare is just astounding. massive flex doing the final centerline with only one hand on the reins. curb rein is abandoned asap. i actually like this mare a lot

France: Pauline Basquin on Sertorius de Rima Z. [Sandro Hit] his tiny little stripe is really fucking cute. some froth, no gape. reasonably open frame. changing the collection of the trot to the tempo changes in the music is brilliant actually. loooooooove the extended canter down the centerline. way to make a statement! lots of pats for the boy on their way back. 

Finland: Emma Kanerva on Greek Air. [I.P.S. Gribaldi] froth. the instrumental versions she put together for their track are pretty fantastic. tight frame at best. gorgeous walk. the way the canterwork is put together is really intricate and finishing it out with the extended canter is clever. very technically fun freestyle, i wish she’d have let him out the tiniest bit more. he gets lots of praise as they leave. 

Austria: Victoria Max-Theurer on Abegglen FH NRW. [Ampere] champing already. froth. frame is too tight, methinks. he’s a big mover - and not pleased about the first piaffe. whatever classical music arrangement this is great; i know i heard some of the Hallelujah chorus in there, and i keep catching Mozart-sounding snippets. (yes i am a bit of a classical music nerd). lovely extended canter. he’s gaping now :( hyperflexed. Lots of praise after the last halt-salute. 

Sweden: Therese Nilshagen on Dante Weltino OLD. [Danone 4] froth. nice open frame as they come in. he’s got such big pretty gaits. gaping now. some of the instrumental stuff sounded like it came from Wicked? oh he was so happy about the canterwork and especially the extended canter! super fun freestyle.
