Nick himself said that his knowledge is confined to the leaks prior to s4, the s4 scripts from his verified source (likely within a source) and basic knowledge most fans paying attention have been able to formulate about s5 based on what has been released officially/unofficially, trends from Netflix and common sense.

He is saying based on all that, he doesn’t think byler is happening.

And if we think back to what the Duffers themselves shared in the 4x09 script, it literally implies Mike’s monologue worked, and that it was entirely genuine. This tells me that the script the Duffers released for Emmy consideration, is not that far off from what Nick saw for himself.

I think it’s likely Nick got something that the average below the line worker might manage to get their hands on if they tried hard enough. A copy they know they have to water-down to prevent these very situations from happening.

Unfortunately for the Duffers, it just so happens that they didn’t scrub their watered down copy hard enough.

Unfortunately for Nick, he admitted that it’s possible and even likely that the production will release things that aren’t exactly accurate with the sole purpose to lead fans sleuthing astray, without realizing it may have ironically already happened to him.

CXS’s mother’s comments about someone else causing instability in the timeline is reminding me again of this post about a completely unrelated time travel series and its explanation on superpositions and observers

idk if that’s how the rules in link click work but it’s fun to think about

rewatching 13s era for me is not so much diminishing returns as it is something opposite and eviler...............increasing losses? increasing losses

I'm just a girl standing in front of the Elena of Avalor S3 timeline begging for it to make even a little logical sense.

#elena of avalor #honestly the only way it does is if we assume that the various avaloran holidays take place in radically different months #than their real-world counterparts #like if we assume that carnaval matches its real world equivalent #"the magic within' takes place in feb-march #but the very next episode is the final dias de los muertos one #which by real world standards is beginning of november #so you're telling me that after the massive fallout of carnaval; absolutely nothing happened for like 7-10 months(!)#and then pretty much all of the next few important episodes happen b/w Nov and Dec (assuming hannukah is also at its real world time)#so like elena spends an intense period of like 1-2 months being just completely fixated on esteban #(i mean girl; same but come on)#after having spent like nearly a year forgetting he even exists?#and then has her nice little winter holiday break #and forgets about him for a month or two in between #only to just suddenly without much logical reason just become obsessed w/ him and ash again for an ep or two #and then forgets about him again #because the plot demands it #i mean like tbf all the flores cousins read to me as neurodivergent to some degree #so i guess it makes a little sense that she'd fall in and out of hyperfocus and get distracted by other fun things #but like i feel like the situation is a bit more intense/important/demanding than just a regular special interest waxing and waning a bit #i mean the real answer is that at least some of the filler episodes were aired waaaayyy out of order #maybe we're meant to see carnaval as not actual carnaval time? but like a big random party in like july or aug??#so like elena still ignores the plot for way too long but at least its like less than 6 months and not more #and it is making plotting s3 era fic very very hard #since it's very tricky to find the right spot to set things

i had a long conversation w my sister about how the whole car thing in ep 6 is truly so pointed and insane like lestat got a car for louis and himself but not claudia even tho LESTAT was the one that taught her to drive so it's not like she doesn't how, it's just that he's not willing to extend that level of freedom/autonomy towards her. he would never give her a car of her own, she will always have to ask one of them to drive her or she'll just have to walk

#i also wonder about when lestat learned to drive #my personal headcanon is he learned to drive by watching louis bc in ep 1 he only walks and in the ep 2 louis's the primary driver #but by ep 4 lestat takes over that role so i think it's like how sam reid said that lestat's a mimic and can learn things via observation #he watched louis drive for a few months and was like i think i got the hang of this and then never let louis drive again #i would say he probably thought of it like a favor at the beginning like don't worry about it i'll drive you ☺️#but then it became an angle of control that louis didn't even realize he gave up #anyway: cars #vampterview

not 2 be a "bad" "feminist" but like. okay I know the guy who plays Nate is problematic and etc, but like. like I tried to like Leverage Redemption, but it just. is too flanderized and doesn't quite manage to like both write real-feeling characters nor grasp the charm that made Leverage "work" for me, so like. watching Leverage Redemption mostly has me wincing, and like. does not hold the same place in my heart that Leverage does....

#the thing about leverage redemption for me is #is everyone is just. too 2d #and it has the same problem of sequels where it's like. it takes place in the future so it feels like it *should*#progress from where we left things off??#but instead it like. has to regress things back at least a few steps so there's a place to go again #and it's just. doesn't do it for me #and also the characterization feels so flanderized. it feels like when ur reading the popular fic in a fandom #where it's like. so fanon heavy. and everyone has like 1 or 2 flanderized character traits....#and even the baddies in leverage redemption feel too 2d #like. even the most 2d of the leverage baddies was at least 2.5d. like they threw an extra thing in there that made them feel more 'real'#idk man idk!!! I just. would rather rewatch leverage for the character writing and the plot #it's just. Leverage Redemption also somehow manages to create more problems in like the sj-issues axis #that somehow leverage didn't have despite very much also being a product of its time #like sorry leverage redemption but the problem with making the indian guy the bad guy in that episode #is that you positioned parker as the one diametrically against him #and she's like. a blond White Woman playing old money 8)#like at least in the sweatshop ep of Leverage the 'main client' was a Chinese rep of a Chinese advocacy group #advocating for a Chinese woman who was being taken advantage of #urhghghghghghghg #maybe if I take another look at Leverage Redemption I will find it charming instead of cringely try-hard lmao... :')#sorry to be so mean to Leverage Redemption but the attempts at namedropping character beats just came off too flanderization :')#and poorly placed :') to me :')#*

just a character analysis about xo kitty, specifically how kitty falls in love:

it is very obvious that kitty needs a deep emotional bond to fall in love - its why she is very in love with dae when she first comes to KISS in season 1. dae lying to her makes them grow apart, because she can't trust him as much as she's used to, so she can't come to him with her problems. in addition, kitty needs her partner to be open and honest with her, but he doesn't give her that chance by not telling her about the fake relationship until it's too late. that is a large reason why they don't work anymore, and why she's already moved on mentally.

then you have yuri - kitty develops feelings for her as their emotional bond grows (they discover their mom's friendship, she helps with juliana, etc) . it's clear that she's still not over her when they get back. however, kitty does start to move on after yuri stops talking to her as they're fighting. i believe a key moment in this process is when kitty is trying to tell her something about her parents in the storage closet, and yuri just brushes her off. there's definitely some distance after that moment, which is cemented in ep 6, where kitty kind of confirms how much that hurt her and stops having k-drama moments with her.

this character analysis is not meant to throw either dae or yuri under the bus. they're both teenagers, dealing with a lot of outside issues that influence the way they act. dae couldn't be open with kitty in the way that she needed, and yuri is definitely self-centered (which she acknowledges, and tries to work on). kitty fell for both of them because they had that emotional connection, but when that connection falls apart, so do her romantic feelings.

the reason minho is the best partner for her (at the moment, at least) is that he's open with her, while also being consistently there for her (like in the hot tub scene). she doesn't see him as an option (even in the heist scene, he's not her first choice) until after her feelings for yuri have kind of gone away. then, she can see that minho gives her balance - unlike how dae never came to her, minho asks for her help with his fight with dae, showing that he can be open with her. unlike yuri, he helps her with her family stuff even when they were fighting, prioritizing kitty over residual anger he might have because he knows how much this means to her.

relationships are a give and take, and kitty needs that to form the emotional connection she needs to fall in love. over season 2, minho grows into the perfect person for her for all the reasons mentioned above. i hope season 3 will cement that relationship, because there was honestly so much development for these two and i love them so much.
