Getting myself even more in the mood for the Barbie movie this Saturday by putting red beet hummus on my falafel flatbreads for the second dinner in a row 💖

My food was so colorful yesterday!
Home made lemon basil hummus for dinner and home made fruit salad for lunch
I also got some watermelon bubly to try and it’s not bad!
I also had a bagel I think but it wasn’t as exciting haha I’ve been eating way too much bread and cheese lately and it’s not making me feel very good but it tastes soooo good! Why!!

I gotta complain abt being a picky eater here for a sec cuz I'm lookin @ all this stuff on the breakfast menu and there's always the SAME ingredients in all these SAME food items and it would be SO much easier if I could just order food without having to think of all the stuff I DON'T want on my food cuz I always gotta put in so much effort to look into every single ingredient in every since food item that I order bcuz I DON'T LIKE MOST FOODS !!! SMHH !!
#mostly making a post abt this cuz there are ppl out there who think picky eaters are just childish and need to grow up#as if I'm CHOOSING to be a picky eater#and they call it childish cuz they think ppl just don't wanna be healthy and eat veggies and it's not THAT bad or whatever#THE THING IS! I FUCKING LOVE VEGETABLES!! THAT LITERALLY PROVES IT'S NOT PEOPLE JUST THROWING HISSY FITS !!!!#I literally LOVE fruits and veggies and I'm honestly not a big fan of candy like I enjoy it but I have a pretty low limit for em#like I could just eat tons of fruits and veggies no problem but candy makes me sick if I eat more than a few of em#snacks on the other hand like chips and nuts and granola and stuff are a different story#which btw my family does NOT have the same taste buds as me they are all SUPER unhealthy and I like the most healthy foods#not including my outer family members I mean immediate ones that I actually care abt and effect my food palete#ANYWAYS I will say I don't like tomatos that's one of the few I'm not a fan of I don't even really like ketchup that much#tho I have gotten better about spaghetti sauce which I'm sure people would CRY from how plain my pasta is lmao#the sauce is literally called tomato sauce it is LITERALLY tomato sauce it has nothing else in it and it has absolutely no chunks#probably the reason I never had sauce on my spaghetti for so long is cuz it always has CHUNKS in it or little leaf things that would crunch#which I like crunchy but only when it's MEANT to be crunchy#anyway all I'm sayin is it would be nice to get a breakfast burrito but I feel bad changing the order SO MUCH just for me to enjoy it#and most the time other ingredients will get in it regardless and I can't eat it anymore cuz that entire area is infected with the taste#even my Mom thinks I'm crazy for that 🙄 LISTEN IF YOU PUT PEPPERONI ON PIZZA THE FLAVOUR STICKS TO THE PIZZA#DOESN'T MATTER IF YOU TAKE IT OFF THE JUICES THE FLAVOUR IT GOT ON IT I CAN LITERALLY TASTE IT BRO !!!!!#or even a half and half situation if any pepperoni touched MY side of the pizza I am TASTING it and I cannot eat it#trust me it's not a mind thing it has been tested on me before and no one has tricked me into eating it bcuz I simply DO NOT LIKE IT !!#there is no trick to be had I can simply TASTE IT !! smh smh#anyway that is my rant abt being a picky eater quota met for the first half of the year#I have one more I have to make before the end of the year (just saying it'll likely happen is all lmao)

Finally cracked and ordered one of those little portable blenders with the intent of making smoothies for myself because I never eat any fruits or veggies, so my dumbass also doesn’t get much fiber if at all because I eat like a picky 5 year old. 🙃
#i’m actually eager to try it#primarily because if this works out well and i can make a smoothie that satisfies my sweet tooth and gives me fiber and extra protein#it’ll be really good for me#gonna start real simple tho with a berry smoothie#just some frozen mixed berries with vanilla almond milk and some chia seeds#i feel like that will be a good place to start as far as making something lower calorie but high in fiber#i did far more research about all this than i’d care to admit#but for anyone worried about my health due to my lack of healthy eating i do take a multivitamin everyday#so I’m not COMPLETELY without vitamins and nutrients but still#this is what happens when you don’t make your kids eat fruits and veggies from a young age folks

#i kinda miss being able to just eat without any concern for my body or health#like i didnt care as much when i was younger about it#i was just happy to eat yk#but ive lost a lot of weight since then so that i can fit into the style of clothes that i like#and i exercise to keep in shape#but just now we had smthin really delicious and i had to count the amount of stuff i had and make sure my calorie intake stayed low :''#its a bit troublesome tbh...#but hey. im a healthy person~ and my figure looks good#and i can mostly wear whatever i want (except my chest is large so i have to forgo dresses that dont stretch at the chest or dont measure#large there...sigh. i should look into breast reduction.)#anyway so yeah#my biggest waist measurement was...#36in/92cm#and now? its at 27in/68cm#my stomach is mostly flat now while it portruded lot when i was a bit younger. though i do still have a pouch below my belly button that#i really dont know how to get rid of#if anyone has any tips hmu pls lmaooo#i do core exercises and thats helped but!!! it wont go awaayyyyy#anyway since i had an unhealthy lunch i need to make sure to only eat fruits n veggies n red meat for the rest of the day...#its annoying. but i am happy with the lifestyle

#mm#woke up with an allergy headache#bc I forgot to take my meds last night#and allergy headaches are the ones that usually make me the most irritated and sensory sensitive#idk why lol#anyway#went to see my new doctor the other day#he’s the type to preach about a good diet 🫠#sir…#i literally told him that I’m a very picky eater#he also used cheetos and mountain dew as an example of ‘bad’ foods#I don’t even like those things!!!#given all the factors that hinder me from eating well and often#I eat as healthily as I can lmao#and that’s not very healthy I’ll be honest#but it’s not exactly a bunch of processed foods#it’s mostly carbs tbh#like we don’t have the money to waste on snacks lmao#they last like a day before they’re gone#we can’t eat fruits and veggies bc adhd/chronic conditions/etc etc#and we can’t afford to waste the money bc they rot away in the fridge#our only sustainable options are carbs#bread noodles rice potatoes etc#and then butter and cheese to give those things something more#or to like make sandwiches or whatever idk#and like obviously my diet isn’t as bad as you say it is#bc my blood work is perfect#so maybe quit fucking lecturing me about shit that I already know#especially when I know damn well you’re not gonna listen to any of the barriers I have to that#uggghhhhhhh I miss the doctor I had a few years ago like bro please come out of retirement

I'm at the point where when the boredom hits, instead of grabbing an alcoholic beverage, I go to the gym. And once I'm done at the gym THEN I grab an alcoholic beverage. Because I'm still an alcoholic but I'm gonna be an active and vaguely healthy one. I'll wreck my liver but I'll build muscle and lose belly fat in the process

#i think im still in the throes of my ed even tho im eaying constantly and have like. a relatively healthy relationship with food#the past few days have been the first time in my life that i have cooked multiple times a day and eaten a MEAL multiple times a day.#i typically cook once for dinner and thats my meal for the day#and then id have snacks like soinash anc vinegar and chips and salsa and fruit#but most of my nutrition came from one meal#bc i was so worried about consuming so much potassium#as a vegan i eat like. 10000mg of potassium in a single meal#it's a lot.#and im worried about my kidneys and how well they actaully function#so im always like 'do i really wanna eat thatand risk potassium poisoning or can i just eat something else'#and i only ever eat the same exact thing every day#quinoa beans onions and tostadas. for the past 6 months.#and then for 6 months before that it was quinoa and roasted vegetables.#everyday!!!!!!#it got so bad with the roasted veggies that i broke out into body wide acne that would not go away#it was there for like 2 months and it was awwwful. so itchy.#my chest is still completely scarred because of it. so is my back.#the idea of eating anything else kinda made me sick#except for very soecific cravings#or if i wanted to eat all daylong i would make a soup#bc im too worried about getting water intoxication from too much soup#i can easily eat over 2L of soup#my stomach is unbelievably large. like..the actual organ.#i have to eat enough for 4 people before i feel satiated#hence why i eat do much potassium and why i can only really eat nutritious food once a day#bc i just have to keep going#my boss has actually given me sooo many nasty looks bc of it#but if i start eating i genuinelg cant stop until im full#im like a rabbit#i have to find ways to make verty low nutrition easy snacks to make like popcorn. and i make an entire pot. and eat it all. in one sitting
