Hi! RE: your journal about the right for lolicon fiction to exist even if you disapprove of it, would you say it can also exist for titillation purposes, or do you stand by it for artistic reasons, or for the purpose of exploring dark themes only? I always thought you were saying the former, but I just wanted to ask. It's chill if you don't wanna answer this. Have a good day!
Here we are, 15 years on from that blog entry, and I still haven't read any lolicon, I'm afraid, so I have no idea about its themes. The context was whether you should be sent to prison for owning lolicon. What I said back then was,
In this case you obviously have read lolicon, and I haven't. I don't know whether you're writing from personal experience here, and whether you have personally been incited to rape children or give inappropriate hugs by reading it. (I assume you haven't. I assume that Chris Handley, with his huge manga collection, wasn't either. I've read books that claimed that exposure to porn causes rape, but have seen no statistical evidence that porn causes rape -- and indeed have seen claims that the declining number of US rapes may be due to the wider availability of porn. Honestly, I think it's a red herring in First Amendment matters, and I'll leave it for other people to argue about.) Still, you seem to want lolicon banned, and people prosecuted for owning it, and I don't. You ask, What makes it worth defending? and the only answer I can give is this: Freedom to write, freedom to read, freedom to own material that you believe is worth defending means you're going to have to stand up for stuff you don't believe is worth defending, even stuff you find actively distasteful, because laws are big blunt instruments that do not differentiate between what you like and what you don't, because prosecutors are humans and bear grudges and fight for re-election, because one person's obscenity is another person's art.
Because if you don't stand up for the stuff you don't like, when they come for the stuff you do like, you've already lost.

hmm i wanna make a proper post about practicing relaxation. lets go
So for some reason, you can't fucking relax
Chronic muscle tension is really, really common, but few people know how to combat it. In that same vein, relaxing the muscles does not come naturally to everyone, and for some it's a skill that must be practiced.
Firstly, the inability to relax is tied to a few things. Obviously trauma, stress, anxiety, and other neurodivergencies contribute a great deal to chronic muscle tension. What most people don't realize, is that chronic tension can also result from an unbalanced body. In particular, it's a major symptom of Morton's Foot Syndrome/Neander foot, which has a HUGE comorbidity with neurodivergency (particularly ADHD/Autism). I've made plenty of posts about it on the ol' blog that y'all can check out, and searching "Morton's Foot Syndrome" (it's frequently confused with Morton's neuroma) will also bring up information.
Secondly, chronic muscle tension also causes just about every symptom under the sun. All those symptoms related to stress, the tension headaches and the stomachaches and the muscle weakness etc? Most of these are a direct result of the physical strain of muscle tension, not some abstract symptom of being mentally overwhelmed.
So how do you know you have chronic muscle tension?
Experiencing the physical and mental symptoms of anxiety pretty much guarantees you have chronic muscle tension. These symptoms feed into each other--it doesn't matter whether the tension began in your head or in the rest of the body, both will be affected in the end. Chronic pain is another sign of muscle tension, but of course not everyone has the same sensitivity or conceptualization of pain.
The most objective way to tell is to simply give your muscles a squeeze. Try around your calves and ankles, your arms, your stomach. Yes, even if you're fat. A proper, relaxed body will be so squishy that you could feel down to the bone, and move the muscles and tendons around with little discomfort. For thinner people, a relaxed muscle will jiggle like fat.
Meanwhile, a tense muscle will have little to no squish, like squeezing a bouncy ball. You may struggle to press deep into the muscle at all. To differentiate from bone, know that bone will have absolutely zero give; compare the hardness of your shin bone to the muscles of the rest of the calf. You should be able to apply pressure ANYWHERE on your body with no pain or discomfort.
Another more objective sign of chronic muscle tension is the inability to sit or lay down comfortably. Constantly changing positions, fidgetiness, or restlessness all point to muscle tension, often because a position rests on or pulls on a tight muscle. The way you sit is a telltale sign of what muscles are too tight: for example, sliding your butt down your chair is a sign of tight hamstring muscles.
How do you unlearn chronic tension?
It's not easy. First, I urge anyone reading this to look into Morton's Foot Syndrome and treat it. This syndrome is extremely common (on my end, pretty much all of my friends, family, and several people who follow this blog have realized they have it!). The reason Morton's Foot causes chronic tension is due to the instability of the foot--in order to prevent the body from toppling over like a tower with a poor foundation, the muscles in the body overwork themselves. Getting the right insoles (insoles sold at the store will not address the problem) will improve your stability, making it easier and less exhausting to stand and walk.
Treatment will only stick once Morton's Foot is addressed! If you feel like all your stretching and exercises aren't cutting it, please PLEASE look into this!!!
Okay, now that I've said my piece of MFS, here are a few things that you can try to help learn how to relax.
Tense and Release. Pretty much exactly what it sounds like. Practice tensing and releasing different muscles while paying attention to the difference in how each feels. It's a good first step to building an understanding with your body. You can easily find videos that guide through these sorts of exercises.
Pay attention to your habits. Strained or unusual posture is a direct result of chronic tension. Think about when you keep your hand in a fist too long, and when you finally uncurl it all your fingers aches. ALL the muscles in your body are like this, but unlike your hands you might avoid stretching those muscles afterwards, because stretching overtight muscles can be unpleasant! Over time, the tension will build up in the form of triggerpoints, which functionally shorten the muscle and cause even more problems down the road.
Stretching and massage. Stretches should target overworked muscles, but massage is necessary to get the full benefits of stretching. If you stretch and feel a pain, you can try to find that pain using the triggerpoint guide in my pinned post--massage that spot indicated in the guide, the stretch will become easier. I'll make a formal post about stretching eventually, but in the meantime I discuss proper stretching technique here.
Stay warm! Heat makes muscles more fluid and easier to stretch. Cold will increase tension, but it also numbs pain, which is useful for sudden cramps or seizing of the muscle.
Practice belly breathing. When you pull in a breath, make sure it's your stomach that moves, not the chest. Chest breathing activates neck muscles known as scalenes--when these muscles are tense, they can cause numbness, tingling, and pain in the hands and arms. Belly breathing is often easier to do while lying down than it is while standing up--mastering it in both situations will make a difference.
Learn to trust your body. Chronic tension means you're fighting your own body. When you begin relaxation exercises, they might feel scary, maybe even giving you the sensation of falling. Whenever I do relaxation exercises, I have so much tension in my own body that the release will cause a jerk or a spasm--but I have to concentrate and allow my body do this instead of instinctively trying to stop it. I always feel better afterwards, but it was disconcerting when I first started. The body generally knows where everything is supposed to go, and learning when to give up the reins to it can give you new insights into what will help you feel better.
Be careful about painkillers. Everyone loves their ibuprofen and acetaminophen, but understand that the pain you feel is very real. If you take a painkiller and then put your body to work, your ability to judge how much damage is happening is hampered. That muscle you're holding tense for three hours straight may not hurt, but it doesn't change the fact that it's accumulating tension. Be extra gentle with your body on painkillers.
And that should cover it. If anything sounds strange or doesn't make sense, I'm always happy to elaborate and answer questions! Go onwards and try to feel a little bit better today.

People on the internet (especially the younger generations) are so ENTITLED these days???? I won't ever get over how shocking that is?? THE AUDACITY OF SOME OF YA'LL!!??
That shit's crazy ! And sorry, yes I'm gonna go there, but ever since younger generations, and what Fandom "elders" call the "normies" have joined Fandom spaces, I feel like they're just thinking we, as artists/content creators OWE THEM our Art 🎨 or something??? They're ruining things and spoiling all the fun out of being in a Fandom!
Just let people be!
HOW AND WHY DO YOU THINK Fandom spaces were created in the first place??
It's because people who got a little freaky needed a place to be left in peace, and find other people who had the same interests; because of that, there were forums that were created, then websites, and that's how Fandoms started.
So I'm gonna say this AS MANY TIMES AS IT TAKES!
Just let people ship WHAT THEY WANT???!!!
IT'S NOT HARMING YOU - or anybody else for that matter - IN ANY WAY WHATSOEVER!
And don't give me that "PROTECCCC THEM CHiLDREnnn bull!" We aren't RESPONSIBLE for their safety on the internet!
LOUDER FOR THE PEOPLE IN THE BACK:
WE 👏🏻 AREN'T 👏🏻 RESPONSIBLE 👏🏻 FOR 👏🏻OTHER 👏🏻PEOPLE'S 👏🏻CHILDREN'S SAFETY 👏🏻ON 👏🏻THE👏🏻 INTERNET !!!!
THEY HAVE parents, who DECIDED to have kids, THEY'RE the ones who are responsible for THEIR OWN CHILDREN'S safety.
And if unfortunately some of them don't have good parents, we'll it's sad, yes but that doesn't mean they're gonna automatically find Fandom spaces, and THEN become unhinged or whatnot, because of what they saw - on the off chance that they might find some things that YOU, or others consider controversial ??-
And if they do, well not my circus , not my monkeys! 🤡
If they can't differentiate between fiction and reality, I'm sorry but Darwin didn't do his job very well, and they're doomed from the start 😂 🤷🏻‍♀️..
AND LIKE, if I follow your skewed logic, then we should ban true crime documentaries because that MIGHT turn some people into murderers, video-games because it MIGHT turn some people violent, crime TV shows because it might give bad ideas to the wrong people?? Reality TV because it makes people DUMB AS HELL??
Like… this is RIDICULOUS and illogical as hell!!?? Your arguments aren’t even real, solid arguments — you’re just using them to serve your own little quest for… whatever the fuck it is you’re looking to prove.
The internet — and especially other people’s blogs — ISN’T SUPPOSED TO BE TAILORED TO PLEASE YOU!! It’s someone else’s space, and they can do whatever they want with it!!!
If you don't like it, just fucking block them!
I have blocked people whose content I LIKED, because some of their content made me uncomfortable; and I didn't send them weird entitled messages, or tell them "imma block you because you POST PiCtUrEs Of BuNnieS and IT MAKES Me uncomfortableeeee".
Like what the actual fuck?? The world doesn't revolve around you, and nobody NEEDS to know that you've been inconvenienced (in Fandoms) and why - you immature little shit?!!
(And I'm not saying you can't vent about something happening in your life or whatever. It's YOUR blog - BUT DON'T pollute Fandom spaces with your bull !!!)
Just MOVE ON, that's it.
Acting like the Fandom police, pretending it is to "save the children" while we ALL KNOW you only harass people because you think you're entitled to other people's fanfictions, art and other content being tailored to YOUR own tastes, and - GOD FORBID an artist that you thought was talented, starts to draw something that upsets you!-
Because yeah, "THAT'S NOT RIGHT, THEY CAN'T SHIP THAT THING - THAT YOU HATE - THEY'RE ONLY ALLOWED TO MAKE ART THAT YOU WANT THEM TO MAKE!! AND THEY CAN'T DO THINGS JUST BECAUSE THEY LIKE THEM" Yeah, yeah...
GOD FORBID SOMEBODY JUST WANTS TO HAVE FUN ON THE INTERNET - AND DO THEIR OWN LITTLE THING IN THEIR OWN LITTLE CORNER OF THE WORLD - RIGHT??
Right...?
Well. NO! It doesn't work like that!
You need to get your fragile little ego in check! THE WORLD ISN'T FAIR, it's NOT made to PLEASE YOU, it DOESN'T revolve around YOU and only you, and you GOTTA LEARN that this entitlement, this AUDACITY, isn't gonna get you far in life if you keep going about things that way (and hiding behind anon messages makes you feel powerful, I know, I know) but try that shit in real life and see where it takes you... 🤡
If an Artist , or fic Writer, or content Creator wants to suddenly change Fandoms, they CAN, and they WILL.
Is it sad? - Yes - Should you say anything about it? FUCK NO, should you keep supporting them through their newest hyperfixation? Yes, but do you have to? Absolutely NOT. You can move on, un-follow or even block them!
I have had my favorite artist follow the same hyperfixations as me for like ten years and then suddenly get into something that I ABSOLUTELY HATED! And you know what I did? I kept supporting them when I could. That's it! And I'm not saying YOU should absolutely do that despite hating someone's content, because YOUR internet experience should feel safe to you, so I'm just saying that's just ONE WAY to go about things. You can just mute /block.
If they change Fandoms, just let them, if they want to ship something you hate? Same thing.
If they say something you don't agree with?? JUST. LET. THEM. It's THEIR blog, THEIR own life and choices, and it's not because someone has a kink you deem weird or ships two brothers, or siblings or whatever, as strange as it may be to you, or has, idk a pee kink, a blood kink, or WHATEVER, that you're supposed to bother them about it????
And, come on guys, let's be real for a minute, life is HARD enough as it is, we don't need our safe spaces, where we feel welcome and free to be our freaky little selves, and have fun and SHARE our creative works for FREE, to be polluted by people like you who have no concept of free will, and decided that they should ONLY be doing things you want them to do, and be policed by assholes on their safe spaces!
JUST LET THEM BE!! DON'T INTERACT!
I have gotten SO MUCH HATE in the past couple of months, JUST for speaking my mind and defending other artists - and apparently liking some of their posts too? Which is FUCKING RIDICULOUS!?? -
But you know what?? I WILL CONTINUE TO DEFEND THEM for -FUCKING- EVER!!!
I don’t CARE what you ship, what kink you’re into, or if you ship yourself with a fictional character — and, yeah!!
Let’s go there too 😏 since apparently some of y’all need a taste of your own medicine!??
(IMPORTANT NOTE: I have STRICTLY NOTHING against self shippers, I'm just addressing the issue that A HUGE CHUNK of the people attacking other fans in Fandom spaces think the only way to enjoy a character is self-shipping and that these characters BELONG to them somehow??)
Some of ya'll self-shippers keep ANNOYING others for doing exactly that — shipping, enjoying their own thing — and for what???
(Not talking about all self-shippers, because you opened minded peeps are AMAZING and lovely and I'm SO grateful for your presence in Fandoms!)
And I'm just gonna leave this HERE BUT,
I HAVE SEEN SOME OF YOU, be HELLAAAAA into Daddy kink, but then, when other people ship two brothers or siblings, or half brothers or cousins or - whatever - YOU ACT ALL HIGH AND MIGHTY?? THERE'S LITERALLY NO DIFFERENCE??!! 😂
LIKE, double standards, much???
Back in the good old fandom days, (yeah, yeah, granny ghastly's back at it with the good old days) this kind of shipping wasn’t even that common, it was actually the odd one out, and people would think it was weird and cringe as HELL, but you know what??? Nobody BOTHERED THEM!!! And NOBODY BOTHERS YOU now!? YOU DO YOU.
Meanwhile, here we are, NORMAL(ish 😂) people, who actually get what it’s like to just want to ship something and be left alone to enjoy our own little corner of the fandom in peace. AND we don't BOTHER YOU! We just LEAVE YOU ALONE to enjoy your weird little corner of the internet! BUT YOU ATTACK US /THEM for liking something you don't?? (including myself in there because apparently supporting other's free will to do what they want gets you as much hate as actually doing the thing).
JUST SHOW THE SAME COURTESY.
The internet is big enough for EVERYBODY.
To me, truly if you ship SIBLINGS TOGETHER OR ANYTHING ! IF IT IS FICTION, ANYTHING GOES! HAVE FUN, who am I — WHO IS ANYBODY — to stop you or decide you can't ?!!
Do I like everything I see on the internet?? CERTAINLY NOT, do I go out of my way to just go and bother people because I'm an entitled little Bitch???? NOPE, I DO NOT!
And you know what, it doesn't kill me, I'm still okay decades later. Everything's fine. Fanfiction sites have functions for blocking tags that revolt you, and LEARN TO USE THEM G-dammit.
AND Tumblr has a mute function AND A BLOCK FUNCTION, HOW COOL IS THAT???? ✨
JUST FUCKING use them and shut your cakehole. And go eat some cookies if you're into that, who am I to stop you!?
Now imma go back to supporting EVERYONE in the Fandoms that I'm into, and enjoy their art, and fanfictions, no matter if it's my cup of tea, or not.
Because THAT'S what you're supposed to do in Fandom spaces, SUPPORT EACH OTHER ✨ (or just BLOCK THEM).
Have a NICE DAY! 🩷
(Ps : Sorry I didn't check for mistakes or reread myself!)

hi, first of all i love all of your birds and thank you for posting them so much!
i tried to search your blog but couldnt find anything, so excuse me if you answered this before: how does you having raised bug affect her chicks? like will they be a little different same as bug is? will she raise them in the coop with the others or also inside with you (especially since male chicks cant be raised by humans, how does this affect bumblebee?) thank you!
The answer is.... I don't know! It's rare for anyone to hand raise these birds successfully, and imprinted hens generally either have no interest in mating/nesting or retain no interest in humans, depending how they were raised. Friendly hens generally raise friendlier babies, as they bring babies over to their caretakers for treats, but as far as I know, no one's ever had a peahen nest beside them and raise the babies the way Bug is, with completely calm interaction with a human. Aris and Aurora and Eris all bring their babies up to me, and their babies have been less skittish than those raised by, say, Opal or Corona, who rarely if ever approach me.
But I'm not actually doing the majority of care for these two, and I'm not sure I would call them imprinted. Now, Bug IS imprinted because even though I raised her mostly outside all day with other birds, I was still her sole caretaker. And, like Bug, the Larvae are outside in a pen with the other birds for 90% of the daylight hours, and come inside only to roost, but unlike Bug they aren't getting the majority of their care from a human-shaped source. All they get from me is bugs to eat in the morning when I get up, and bugs to eat at night before bed, and then we walk to the pen. From there, they spend the day there being birds, with me visiting only for a little while once or twice a day to check on them and bring them fresh water and treats. So they SHOULD be pretty normal, but hopefully remain friendly toward humans- we won't know THAT for another three years or so. However, I've raised indoor, incubator-hatched birds similarly to this (like Helios) and had them turn out great- his owner reports he's still friendly and chill as an adult.
That being said, there really isn't a precedent, so it could be not like that at all. I also don't KNOW what sex they are, and I won't know for at least another month, probably closer to two months. They could very well both be girls, both be boys, or be a girl and a boy but not the way I thought. It remains to be seen. The only reason I know about the EV hens is because the EV gene is sex-linked, meaning right now they can ONLY be girls by the way the genetics transfer. The blues could be hens or cocks, no way to tell until their feathers start differentiating between 2 and 3 months of age.

Bimbo doll
MINORS + AGELESS BLOGS DNI, Satoru gojo x reader, all characters are 18+, reader is heavily bimbo coded and loves pink, satoru's gross here, 1.3k words approx
CW: Masturbation, satoru gets horny over reader sending him pics of her dresses, satoru has fantasies of reader and she's unaware, again satoru is gross here you've been warned, some proof reading but very little
Notes: I'm so sleepy and I'm too lazy to fix any other mistakes so if you see mistake no you didnt. had to write sth for Satoru, as wit all of my creative works I hate this but I hope u like it though!!
Tumblr media
Satoru thinks you're absolutely adorable. From the moment he was blinded by the absurd amount of pink you were wearing, he thought you were the cutest thing on this planet. The coordinated color palettes of your clothes that always had a splash of pink, that shiny layer of gloss on your lips that you regularly reapplied, he gets so happy when he hears the clack of keychains because that means you're near.
Of course he couldn't keep himself away and you both exchanged numbers at one point, you gladly gave it to him after he shot you a lame pick up line— to which you laughed and smiled, simply telling him "you're funny! Sure!"It was almost too good to be true.
You got along well with each other, you both liked sweets, complimented each other's fashion sense, shared a similar sense of humour— when satoru asked you to describe him, you told him that you love being around him because he's fun (you said something about how he 'gets it', a quote about girls.. getting it and others not getting it..? He didn't understand, but he deduced that you like him, and that's all that matters.)
Satoru notices you love sharing tidbits of your day, and most of the time, you usually share a photo related to it in some way along with multiple typos, abbreviations, and emoticons.
"(Name)💘: Toru omg look at these shoes! Super cute right :3" Attached image sent.
"(Name)💘: I went 2 that cafe u told me, the strawberry shortcake is soooo good" Attached image sent.
"(Name)💘: I have 2 go 2 a party tonite, which dress should i choose!1!!??" 4 images sent.
Being friends with you had its benefits, you were comfortable with Satoru, so comfortable that he almost dropped his phone when he opened the images you sent; all of them were minidresses, all of them different shades of pink, all of them hugging your figure so tightly and snuggly he was tempted to stalk your social media to know where this party is.
He couldn't see the details that differentiated each dress, or at least he didn't focus on them as he felt his cock throb in his sweatpants.
"Ooooohhhhhfffuuck..." he mumbled longly to no one in particular, Satoru almost choked on his spit as he sat up from his position in his bed, all the heat rushing to his face as he examined your photos closely. Your poses so cute as you stared at your phone screen in the photos with a small pout, you had the pretty sparkly gloss on this time, that's his favorite..
(Name)💘: TORU OMFG PLZ ANSWEERRRR MY RIDES ALMOST HERE >:(
he almost forgot your little dilemma.
"Sorry lol I was eating, go with this one!!" he forwarded one of the four dresses with his response and sent his text, he felt guilty about lying but what was he supposed to say? 'My bad! You were so hot I got a little hard like some Virgin!' No way in hell.
You answered back quickly, how did you type quicker than he did with nails longer than his? He has a hunch it's because you don't care about typos but the dedication is admirable.
(Name)💘: TGANK UUUUU ill text u after the party!
(Name)💘: thank* lol
He let out a small laugh at your typo, scrolling back to the photos he zoomed in on one of the four he hadn't picked, and the reason why he didn't choose this dress is that he knows no sane rational person with a sexual libido would be able to resist you in this.
You looked so cute, so perfect, Satoru let out a small sigh as he pulled his dick out of his pants hissing at the cold air, his thumb smeared the precum over his tip. He should feel bad– terrible even, but how can he resist? There's no way you have no idea what you do to him, he tried justifying in his mind as his cock throbbed desperately in his hand.
Biting his bottom lip, the image of you in his phone fueled his imagination as he envisioned arriving with you at this party you mentioned, having such a pretty thing like you on his arm would be a major ego boost too. The length of your dress could easily allow him to pull down your panties (did you even have a pair on under that dress?), bend you over the host's bathroom sink and slam his cock balls deep inside you, relentlessly filling you then demanding you to pull your panties back up and come back to the party with him as his cum would be dripping between your thighs.
As Satoru bucked his hips up into his hand, he stopped briefly to spit into his hand, deciding there's no time to look for lube, he went back to fucking his hand to the thought of you. If only you knew your new friend got off to these innocent pictures you sent him, if only you knew what he wanted to do to you– he's confident you wouldn't wanna be friends anymore. Shaking his head he pushed aside those thoughts and focused on his current pleasure, his fantasy, his goal of cumming from the pictures of you in those dresses you handpicked to show him.
He mumbled words of encouragement as if you were there with him right now bouncing on his dick instead of the reality of his hand moving up and down, mutters of 'good girl's and praises like "so good, baby" and "yeah? You like that?", desperate to convince himself of his fantasy. Satoru tossed aside his phone long ago after making sure the photos were engraved in his mind, he wasn't expecting you to update him until sometime near midnight.
his eyes closed as his other hand slid up his stomach pushing up the material of his shirt until it reached his collarbone, his fingers trying to find any weak points on his body to rub, pinch or entice as his hand rubbed his dick to the pace of his imaginary storyline; where he dreamed of driving you back home and stuffing you full of his cock until the only word that was in your vocabulary was his name.
"Yesyesyes, (Name)..! Mmmmmhffuck..!" He groaned out as he felt his end near already, his face warming up to a soft reddish pink reminiscent of the tip of his dick as he fucked his hand, soft gasps and groans escaped him as he imagined all the filthy things he could do to you, all the filthy things he wanted to know about you.
What type of panties do you always wear? What type of men make you horny? Who have you been with? Would you let him fuck you? 'Please lemme fuck you, lemme fuck you..! Wanna fuck you..!'
The vulgarity of his desperation made him blush but brought him dangerously close to the edge, squeezing the base of his cock Satoru covered his mouth instinctively, he bucked up his hips as his cum coated his abdomen, stomach and some droplets even reached his chest. He moaned behind his hand as he felt the waves of pleasure shock through his body. He slowed his hips, mumbling for the imaginary you once more. "Take it, take it all, baby.."
He didn't want to move, he knew he had to but he wanted to relish in his fantasy a little longer, he wanted to pull you close and sloppily kiss your cute glossy lips and praise you for being a good girl, taking his load like that. He imagined his cum oozing from your slit but he wouldn't let it go to waste, he'd use his finger to slide it back in where he knows it belongs.
He remembered to save those photos for.. 'next time', reaching over to get his phone, he paused as he received a notification.
(Name)💘: party was lame, coming 2 ur place!! >:3c
Sitting up, the sweat that collected at his back from his 'session' cooled him off, he cleaned himself up and couldn't help but grin at your adorable message.
You don't need to worry, he'll entertain you more than any dumb party could.

Reblogging about my problematic ships and my funky shipping opinions to fully remind everyone in my blog that I do NOT condone purity culture!
No, FICTIONAL media created with FICTIONAL characters with fucked up FICTIONAL scenarios does not, in fact, dictate your real world morals, and I think it's rather odd for you to think in this manner.
Like, please tell me, what differentiates you from the early 2010s moral panic white suburban moms that raved about videogames causing violence? Or those same conservatives that raved about a DDLC fan who committed suicide, thinking that the game was at fault for it? What separates you from conservatives that think that just hearing about gay people will corrupt the youth of today into the gay agenda?
In case you don't have an answer, here, I'll tell you: nothing. Nothing separates you from them. You're just as morally bankrupt, just as secretly ableist, just as annoying as they all were. The folks on the internet did not spend years debunking these flimsy arguments only for you children to bring it back up again, but this time with new corporate-ass rainbow coated paint on it. You're not special, you're not superior, you're a WASP Karen if one of them was into fandom.
But here's the kicker: even if you were to join the same spaces as the people who hold those opinions, they wouldn't want you, you know why? Because a lot of y'all are queer, are POC , are disabled, and to them you're nothing, they'd burn away all your human rights if they could, and they've tried multiple times, are currently trying to do so. You're not protecting anyone, you're selling your morals to the side of the argument where the people just like you actively fucking hate you, all while pointing your hatred towards the groups that actually are what you're supposedly trying to defend.
I'm POC, I'm autistic, I was SA'd, and I also believe that fiction does not dictate morality, I think antis are immature at best and harmful at worst. You're parroting bigoted views that have been sold as reasonable to you by the moral panic.
You want cringe culture to be dead? You want people to openly be weirdos? You want ableism to stop? Then stop being the fandom police, stop putting down others when they're actually weird, and stop dictating that others should just be "normal".
Anyways, I'll stop yapping now, antis can fuck off, enjoy the rest of my blog or whatever

i dislike a certain genre of post that goes like this: "everyone is complaining fanfic characters do [behavior] too often.... well guess what sweatie, real people do that. check MATE i am very smart" but then the complaint isn't that no one does [behavior], it's that not everyone is out here doing [behavior] and so it does not usually make sense that every single fanfic character does it
the most recent post i saw about this was someone refuting the observation that "fanfic characters are too good at identifying scents" with "well, I'm really good at recognizing scents!" that's nice OP, but that's just you. there's people who are very scent driven and people who can barely smell. there's an incredible diversity of human traits out there. the ability to differentiate and identify scents is a character trait and so character should be taken into account when writing.
so for example, since i am a naruto blog, naruto characters. i actively try to include observations on what things smell like when writing kakashi, because having a good nose/a dog motif is part of his character. i do this even though i personally am bad at differentiating smells. i don't write any of his students as particularly good at identifying scents (some people like to give naruto this ability for fox reasons, but i don't), but i would write them noticing scents that would make sense for their character. sakura might recognize specific floral scents from ino and then have a gay breakdown over it, and she probably associates smells like rubbing alcohol and certain chemicals with work. sasuke might associate smells associated with burning as his own empowerment (ability to do jutsu) or horrible PTSD (....Itachi), but then not even notice specific floral scents beyond just like.... "sweet." he might be like "i don't like hospital smells" because while he can't pick out specific ones, he associates them with being confined to a hospital bed (and maybe also orochimaru's lab?), and you could even do some character work where he becomes okay with them because he starts associating them with sakura. i think it would be a funny gag if naruto could pick out individual ingredients from sniffing ramen but could not apply this skill to literally anything else
another example, directly from the notes of the post i'm discussing, was someone talking about meeting someone who couldn't smell petrichor or something. think about your characters. someone from konoha (which is in a forest) has almost definitely smelled petrichor (unless they just can't smell very well) with some frequency. do they actually know the word petrichor, or are they going to say "smells like the forest after rain"? is this calming to them (smells like home!) or is it so quotidian that they don't even really think about it? now consider characters from outside of konoha. would characters from suna immediately recognize the smell? would they even really notice the smell?
^ these are, of course, not hard rules you have to follow, and you can write characters however you want. however, i think you will enrich your writing greatly if you think about how your characters interact with their world, and that includes differences in ability to pick out scents and how the characters feel about that.

Heavy sarcasm incoming: Fucking love how concepts like tone policing and emotional labour used to have a strong and good meaning, and then absolute assholes started using it to DARVO that shit.
What you don't want me to yell, scream and insult you because of a mild disagreement? What you don't accept me as the sole voice of reason, and would rather get a differentiate pool of affected voices? You refuse to engage with me when I get loud and offensive towards you? You really don't like it when I become verbally abusive? TONE POLICING.
No you dumb chicken. It's not tone policing telling you not be a fucking assholes towards people who're actually trying to have a honest dialogue. What gets me is the people screaming TONE POLICING because they themselves didn't understand their dialogue partners point, and then decide to misunderstand it in the worst way, just so they can keep screaming.
Ok know what? Shut the fuck up for two seconds. It's one thing being emotional and voicing it as an affected person, it's a whole other when you have the mental stability of a toddler throwing a tantrum because you're told not to put the kitten in the microwave.
Emotional labor? Same shit. You have fuck all of an idea what emotional labour is. No, the basic act of being social is not fucking emotional labour. You're not some overworked therapist just because your friend told you about the shitty customer at work that day, especially not if you told them about your coffee machine breaking and how much that sucked. That's a normal human interaction.
Just... Ugggghhhh

Many concepts that were quite useful for trollish newbies in the comments of social justice-oriented serious blogs are amazingly useless in a broad social space.
My personal tumblr is not a srs bzns place, so I usually phrase it as "Are you new?" and "You must be lost" when people are bawwwing that I didn't use pretty enough words to tell them basic info they should already have known.

As per usual, info under the cut <3
IM BACK BITCHES!!!
Alright, here's the design stuff:
I wanted to go for kind of a Lois Lane vibe, including the way she gets all the way up in business she should not be up in. At the same time I wanted to bring the super cutesy gothic lolita style in at least a little. So I ended up going with a poofy short jumpsuit with bows and teddy bears. I would love to make a specific thank you to @themooncallsyou for suggesting I look at the Moschino 2022 spring line for inspiration, it ended up having a very heavy impact on the final design.
I tried to lean into the investigative part of investigative reporter, so that's what the heavy coat is about. I thought adding that classic detective silhouette would be a nice final touch. Plus, I think Blondie likes the drama of the coat flying behind her as she's chasing down a lead. It makes her feel very cool.
Alright, so her original pet is a bear cub named Grizz but I have. Several problems with that. The main one is that it's not clear what the difference between Grizz and the actual sentient bears and her story is. There is never any differentiation between them. It's a Goofy-Pluto situation. Like it doesn't need to be explained, but the minute you start thinking about it too hard it gets weird real fast.
Anyways say hello to Honey the magpie!! Magpies are great mimics and lovers of shiny things, so I thought one would be a perfect fit for Blondie. She repeats bits of gossip and steals little trinkets and clues to help Blondie with whatever case she's on. Honey is where Blondie gets her infinite supply of bobby pins. Her scale is a little off, I don't think magpies are actually that big, but I still think she's cute so I'm not changing it now lol.
Now for character stuff:
Honestly I'm not really changing anything as much as I am exploring what's already there. I think Blondie has the potential to be really interesting, because she's unique within the class system of the school. She's kind of the inverse of Raven status-wise. Raven was born to royalty, but because her mom is the Evil Queen she's actually considered a commoner by society. Blondie was born to a wealthy commoner family, but her fear of rejection leads her to exaggerate the prestige of her lineage. Everyone sort of knows that she's not a Princess but she's so desperate to keep up the image of royalty that no one knows where she actually lands. Most of the royals assume her parents are Lord and Lady or Duke and Duchess or something. In reality they don't have any noble title, and Blondie is very insecure about that.
Blondie isn't so much ashamed of her family as she is terrified of exclusion and rejection. Her standing in society is the one major thing that makes her different from all the other royals, but she has major anxieties that she's always on thin ice. In her mind she's permanently one wrong step from total ostracization.
Tumblr media
On a happier note, she does have a genuine passion for journalism! She considers her news blog/podcast practice for her future career. She starts out discussing school drama and gossip, but tries to stay a neutral third party. That's why her hair is so big. It's full of secrets. As the story goes on she starts reporting on more political and social topics beyond the boundaries of the school (and therefore becomes one of Milton Grimms worst nightmares). She is really, really, really good at getting into shit people do not want her to get into. She's got her eyes on prize and good luck stopping her

ok so what are some of the changes you would want in the upcoming harry potter hbo series. and since your blog is Harry centric so I'll ask how do you want him to be portrayed in the series ? what traits of him do you think the series makers should shine more light on ?
Okay, I have, like, a list of things I didn't like in the movies and could be improved upon by the show. The list I have here isn't just about things the show could improve, but also things I want to see in the show in general. I think most of my opinions are pretty common, though.
(Also I'm not sure how good the show will be, like, I'm somewhat hopeful, but also very cautious with my expectations. We should start getting casting announcements around in a few months, which could help indicate where this show is going)
Regardless, here's my list of top concerns for the upcoming show:
Harry's character
This is the one you questioned specifically and one that could make or break the show for me. I want Harry's sass and anger, I don't want him to be a self-insert for the audience the way he was in the movies. I want his actual character. The sass, anger, and tenacity that is Harry Potter combined with his kindness, compassion, and sometimes clueless awkwardness. Let him be smart, clever, and talented.
Harry in the books is so much more than "just Expeliarmos" and the fact people could think that about Harry is a legitimate crime against his character the movies committed. Truly character assassination that Harry isn't an exceptional wizard with the world's lowest self-esteem and cheeky attitude.
(Also, for the love of god, give him green eyes, please. Contacts exist for a reason and it'll be a good way to differentiate the new actor from Radcliffe)
2. Ron & Hermione's characters
I could probably just put a "make all characters like in the books" category since this is true for a lot of them.
Specifically for the other two members of the Golden Trio, I want Hermione to have her flaws, and Ron to be smart. He is talented and smart and just as skilled as Harry and Hermione. He isn't the dumb comic relief and I'm so mad the movies made him such. And Hermione isn't a perfect Mary Sue who can do no wrong. Let her put Rita in a jar. Let her show how much she actually appreciates Ron and Harry and their approach to problems, different as it is to hers.
3. Voldemort's everything
I didn't like Voldemort's design, I didn't like his characterization, I didn't like how he spoke, how he walked — none of it felt like Voldemort to me.
I want Voldemort to be scary, not some odd caricature of himself. Give me a Voldemort design that looks scary. Give him the red eyes, and make him look actually skeletal. And let him move elegantly, talk softly. He isn't shouting and throwing tantrums, usually, he is very deliberate in what he says and does.
Also, give him his weird sense of humor. In the books, he makes bad puns ("Wormtail is here to lend a hand"), I like my villains a little campy with bad puns but also terrifying.
4. Dumbledore's everything
Well, honestly, I have no complaints about Dumbledore in the first movie, my problems started after he was recast.
I want Dumbledore to speak softly. I need an actor who could say "Nitwit! Blubber! Oddment! Tweak!" and make it work. I want an actor who'd smile like he knows things you don't as his eyes fucking twinkle, but could still look intense and even intimidating for the later seasons. I also want him to look whimsical and dress in the most absurd eye-catching robes you've ever seen.
5. On the matter of robes — wizard fashion
I want wizarding fashion. I want long robes, silly hats, colors, and patterns. I want the costume designers on the show to have fun with it. I want them to go wild.
The wizarding world should look whimsical and campy — that's part of the magic. I want it to look like a foreign world. Even the most purebloods of purebloods (like the Blacks) are more like the Addams Family than any serious drama. They have a sense of campiness and whimsy. Let wizards be weird as shit and show it in their dress and interior design (I mean, the Blacks hang house elf heads and have a troll leg umbrella stand, the Ministry of Magic has paper airplanes flying all around, they're weird).
6. About the more filler-y sections of the books
I want all the silly little plots that were removed from the movies. I think some of the more filer-y things add a lot to the books and to the whimsy of being a student at Hogwarts. I want the trio to sneak out Norbert, I want to see Peeves, the deathday party, all of these things that make Hogwarts truly feel like a magic school.
7. Hogwarts Castle
I love the castle of the movies and that of Hogwarts Legacy. Honestly, I think Hogwarts Legacy did a good job of capturing the feeling of the movies castle while making it its own new unique thing. I think the TV show should do something similar and kinda create a Hogwarts castle amalgamation of all previous iterations that would feel familiar and allow them to still use some of the same merchandise but also be new and unique at the same time.
8. Time period
I think this is a pretty common opinion, but I want the muggle clothes and sets to clearly be set in the 1990s. I want the show to be a period piece. I don't want to see smartphones, or modern fashion, or modern cars — none of that.
9. Age-appropriate casting
I'm not the only one who says this, but as great as Allen Rickman was, he was too old for the role. Part of the tragedy of Snape and the Marauders is how young they actually are. I think it'll just be much more heartbreaking if the actors looked as young as they're supposed to be.
(Including James and Lily in the flashbacks!)
10. Worldbuilding & extra scenes
Since it's a TV show and not a book, which opens up more perspective options, I would like to get, maybe, some extended Pottermore facts into the show. Like, to flash out the world in a way the movies didn't.
Additionally, I wouldn't mind if some extra scenes were added to build up characters we don't get as much of in the books and it could serve the plot. Like, as long as the scenes are added in a way which is like 'they might've happened in the books, we just didn't see them cause Harry wasn't there', that sort of thing without subtracting from anything else and without retconning or contradicting anything. Like, with good writers, this could be really well done, I'm just worried about them adding anything because I don't know how much faith I have in the whole project. But it could be cool if done well.

the drama in this community is so fucked up
I normally don't get into discourse like this, because of my past issues i've always been awful with differentiating reality from my own head, so i've always been keen to staying neutral with drama. i have serious issues when it comes to making opinions but this can't be ignored by me any longer.
every time i get my tumblr to work on my phone when im away so i can check up on my mutuals and my notifications theres some new shit going on. i opened my tumblr earlier only to get jumpscared by some blatantly homophobic posts under the tag and it honestly fucking disgusts me. that "straight lotf fan" account has no place in this fandom spreading its homophobic shit around. i've heard it might be ragebait but i dont care at this point. I believe their url is @straight-lotf-fan if you havent already blocked them id highly advise you do.
another thing is that this 'gooner piggy' situation is completely out of hand. im not going to get too far into it since there is already a lot of commentary on it, but just know that anything sexual about the boys is not welcome on my blog. i know the name 'gooner piggy' started out as an inside joke and that it was not intended poorly, but i do not feel comfortable with that sort of stuff on my blog, especially after some of the things i've seen here about it (namely that gooner piggy blog thats been going around). these boys are MINORS. like what you like and do what you do, but please keep it far away from me and please do not post anything nsfw or sexual about them under the main fandom tag. i and many others are not comfortable with it.
one more thing i am going to cover before going back to my solitude is the evil confessions blog. originally i didnt think i was going to block them, i thought maybe it would have the occasional hot take or otherwise just be normal confessions, but it is clearly just rage bait at this point and finding out that there was already a confession blog that i discovered in the post about its removal makes me think that the whole 'evil confession' thing was just a front for shitting on people and ships in the fandom. going forward i will not be interacting with that account and i suggest blocking them.
i also think we should move all discussions on the drama in this community to a new tag like #lotf drama or something so people who dont want to see it can block it.
i hope the people starting drama here are happy they got a kid with severe ocd and anxiety when it comes to speaking out about any and all issues to talk about the drama here. to all my mutuals, i love you all and i hope you know seeing your posts always brightens my day and is what is keeping me in this fandom even with all the shit.

Hello everyone, Oliver here. I hope all of you are doing well.
If you saw my previous post, we hit 3000 followers, and this is an amazing feeling and I can't thank you guys enough for it.
However, I want to take this time to address a few things about my blog.
First things first, this blog is not intended for minors. So if you are under 18 years of age, you are welcome to unfollow/block me.
My posts are not meant for real life in any sense of the way. Every single post is purely for entertainment purposes and completely fictional, even though it touches upon things like rape, among other things.
Even among the mature people, my blog may not reflect the likes of everyone. My bio clearly states the fictionality of my posts, and hence I could express myself how I wanted. This blog was merely created for me to dump my horny thoughts, no matter how dark it was. And I am fortunate enough to connect with people who feel the same way. This is an NSFW blog for a reason. And I want to keep this blog a safe space for everyone to opine on these "extreme kinks" we all have, buried deep down. And I am open to constructive criticism, and would incorporate any change, as long as people point out valid things.
One thing that was brought up was the fact that my blog glorifies rape. But I don't think so. My blog is no different from the thousands of blogs who post about the same things, albeit worse. People need to understand no matter what is posted on social media, it doesn't accurately reflect real life.
In the same vein, do rape scenes in movies or brutal violence instigate more violence? Or do books which talk about taboo relationships or dark romances romanticize the things they talk about? To some extent, yes and no. But it is up to us how we consume the content. We are mature enough to differentiate fiction and reality.
Having dark thoughts alone doesn't mould a person into a stereotype. It is years of trauma and bad decisions that influence their inner motives. I condemn rape in real life. It's not sexy or fun when it happens. But does it mean the victims need to suffer in isolation?
I don't mean to say this blog is a saviour of SA victims or something like that. In fact, it's nothing like that. But it can be a way for victims and non victims alike to safely explore the boundaries of it. It's just a form of expression. I hope everyone can understand where I'm coming from.
Let me know in the comments what I can do to make this blog better.
One thing I'll be ensuring from now on is the use of trigger warnings and content warnings for some of my extreme posts. I should have done that before, and that's a miss on my part. I sincerely apologize if I ever put any content that enabled any sort of trigger. I'll be more careful.
Thank you all for your support and will continue making better posts!!

Hi, there, I read your post to JiminDiscussion about Jimin's hidden song Letter. You gave the best argument that I have seen on how it was a song for fans, in spite of its hidden feature. I was wondering what you think of the line in the Closer Than This video where he says, "So in a way, this really is a fan song." Thanks.
(Funny that this is my very first post in this blog I've had for years. I normally only send asks to other people but this is the first time I've received an ask and I wanted to answer it.)
Unfortunately I don't remember this quote you mentioned so I can't really comment on it without knowing the full context.
Now, onto what you said about my post being a good argument for Letter being a fan song. I actually didn't write that post with the intention of proving it's a fan song but I think I know what you're talking about. I assume it's about how some shippers insist it's not a fan song and it's instead a love letter to Jungkook.
Honestly, I think it's sad that we even need to prove anything considering Jimin himself said multiple times Letter is not only a song for fans but a song about fans. I've seen some of these shippers try to use this distinction to avoid straight up calling Jimin a liar by saying he never actually said the song was about fans but yes he did. If those shippers are really going to insist on this theory of theirs they should commit to it and admit they are in fact calling Jimin a liar.
Another excuse they use it's saying that Jimin can't say the song it's about Jungkook so he had no choice but to lie. This is actually an excuse shippers use a lot whenever something happens that goes against their ship. They want to say it's fake or a lie and to not sound like they're accusing the members of doing fanservice or lying they say they had no other choice. But most of the times there is actually another choice.
In the case of Letter Jimin could've simply not said who the song it's about or not said anything about the song at all. And it's not like that would've been suspicious or anything because for most of his songs Jimin either gives vague explanations or no explanations at all so no one would've even batted an eye had Jimin not talked about Letter, especially since it's already a hidden song.
This means that Jimin had the option to not lie so if he did lie then it would've been a deliberate choice. And what kinda of person would that make him if he chose to lie? And it's not just any lie either, it's quite the cruel one. Because he didn't just lie to fans and said the song it's for a friend or something like that, no he said the song was for us. To give a gift to someone — a loving letter that makes the recipient think they are loved and appreciated — only for it to be a lie it's in my opinion very cruel. It's playing with our emotions, it's making us feel happy only to pull the rug.
So again, what kinda of person would Jimin be if he chose to do this to fans? This puts him under a very bad light but shippers don't care as long as it gives them proof their ship is real. Upon release they immediately assumed Letter was about Jungkook just because he did background vocals on it and when Jimin said it was actually about fans it was too late and these shippers had already gotten attached to this theory and refused to let go (especially since Face does not give the impression Jimin is in an long and loving relationship so they really needed something).
Jikookers like to differentiate themselves from taekookers but aren't they doing the same thing? Ignoring the members' words, calling them liars, all for the sake of their ship.
Also, about Jungkook doing background vocals. Like I said in my post, that could be considered a BTS reference just like 6:13, Sea and Spring Day. Letter is a song for armys (the actual english name of the song is 'Dear. ARMY', we just like calling it Letter) and armys are BTS fans meaning this song is inevitably going to be connect to the group. Jungkook is a member of BTS so it makes sense to have him rather then another vocalist (like Adora for example) doing background vocals in the song. And remember, Jimin said he wanted the members to have sung Closer Than This with him so we know he likes the idea of having members be a part of his fan songs.
But why Jungkook and only Jungkook, some may ask? First I think that, unlike Closer Than This with it's choir, Letter is a more quiet song so it's more fitting to use only one member instead of the whole group. Second, Jungkook is the main vocalist so whenever the members need a vocalist they usually go to him. An example would be Jungkook being the one to do the vocal guide for People Pt.2. He's also used to doing background vocals since he did it a lot in BTS songs.
If some people still don't believe me I would recommend that they watch the Face Production Dairy and the 8th episode of Moments: Beyond the Star because they both show footage of when Jungkook record Letter and it's very interesting what you can gather from it.
For those who can't find a place to watch I'll tell you what happens:
The Letter recording happened the same day Jungkook also recorded Dreamers so he was already at the company.
< Jungkook exits the recording booth after finishing recording Dreamers >
Pdogg: Jimin said he wants you to help him with the chorus of his song.
JK: Oh, really? I wonder what chorus...
(He clearly didn't know about this request beforehand or what song this is)
JM: I made a fan song and it'd be nice if you sang the chorus.
JK: (Jokingly) How much are you paying me?
JM: Just name your price.
JK: Let me hear it first.
< They play the song for Jungkook >
JK: I'm liking it already.
(It's clear he didn't previously know about Letter and this is his first time hearing it)
< While Jungkook is in the recording booth >
JM: Since he came we are using him.
Pdogg: Jimin, is there something you want to add more of?
JM: I'm already very sorry right now.
(Jimin took the opportunity that Jungkook was already in the company to record Dreamers and asked him to record background vocals for Letter but he felt bad about asking for too much and potentially inconveniencing Jungkook.)
< After Jungkook finishes recording >
JM: Thank you.
JK: The song is really nice.
JM: (Jokingly) You're going to record a message to the fans at the end.
JK: What? It's your song, why would I do that?
< As Jungkook is leaving >
JK: Finish your recording well.
JM: (While bowing) Thank you. It was an honor.
JK: Finish it well.
JM: (While bowing again) Thank you so much.
(It's clear Jimin is very thankful Jungkook took the time to help him when he didn't have to since, as Jungkook himself said, Letter is not his song.)
I'm sorry, but when I watch this footage I sincerely don't understand how someone would think Letter is a love song from Jimin to Jungkook. Up until the very moment Pdogg asked him to help with the chorus it's clearly Jungkook didn't even know about the song's existence. And if Jimin intended to show it to him only after the song was finished as a surprise why would he chose this as the way to reveal it? In the company's recording room in front of cameras, really?
Jungkook is also very nonchalant about the whole thing. I'm not saying he doesn't care at all but it hardly seems like this is a particularly important song to him, which it should be if it's a love letter from his boyfriend. Jimin also doesn't act like someone who after much work is finally revealing the love song he made to his boyfriend. In this specific instance Jimin seems to see Jungkook as a professional who's work he's requesting which is why he feels sorry for asking too much and shows a lot of gratitude (this is not me saying they're only co-workers, obviously they're great friends, I'm talking only about this specific situation).
I know writing this much may make some think I'm too bothered by this situation but, aside from the fact that I write long about any subject regardless of how important it is, I actually normally try to ignore shippers and their theories but this is one theory that, to be completely frank, really pisses me off.
Shippers want to say Jungkook was secretly hiding behind the camera in a Jimin livestream? I don't know why in the world he would feel the need to do that considering the members have never had a problem doing lives together but whatever, they can believe that if they want. But to completely go against Jimin's own word about his music is where I draw the line.
I don't care about a livestream but there's nothing more important to me when it comes to an artist than their art. It's why the thing that upset me the most during Face era wasn't the lack of playlisting or radio or anything like that but instead it was that Jimin couldn't have the visual album he wanted and barely had any opportunities to perform because the music and the performances are the most important things to me. So this is why I'm so bothered by this situation.

After analyzing the results of the test I can confirm two things about you.
You are transphobic.
You are not pro-endo
Let me explain each.
TransIDs inherently harm actual trans people. Supporting them in any way is inherently transphobic.
“TransPlural” makes light of systemhood. It makes it out to be a fun identity, rather than something that actually messes with people’s life. It also makes a mockery of non traumagenic systems, by making them out to be fakers who only want attention.
So in conclusion, by your response we can easily confirm that you are both: Transphobic, and Anti-Endo.
(This post was written by. @sandstorms-syscourse. Still putting anon as our main is a shitpost blog we don’t want associated with syscourse.)
🙄
TransIDs inherently harm actual trans people.
Not even going to try to explain this are you? Is it because the argument boils down to transmed and anti-neogender arguments?
"Group X makes a mockery of trans people and therefore harms trans people by existing."
Overall, transIDs are complicated and sprawling, and I won't address all of them here. Although the most relevant one to this topic is "transabled" which typically refers to someone who believes they should have a certain disorder.
The phenomenon of Body Integrity Dysphoria, also called Body Integrity Identity Disorder, has been well documented.
From what I'm aware, "transabled" was initially coined by people with BIID to describe their condition. But it's since expanded online to include a mental equivalent. We might call this Mental Integrity Dysphoria. I don't know if others are using this term. But it's a good way to differentiate between the BIID transabled group and the ones who identify by mental conditions.
Personally, having listened to mentally-transabled people, I believe the mental BIID equivalent is a real psychological phenomenon and needs to be researched more.
I also think that if mental integrity dysphoria exists, it would likely extend to things that aren't necessarily disorders. Like aphantasia or synesthesia or plurality.
I am far more interested in the science and psychology around the topic of these phenomena, and what we can learn from people in these groups about how human identity works, than petty semantic arguments about what they choose to call themselves.
It makes it out to be a fun identity, rather than something that actually messes with people’s life.
This is ignoring that created systems tend to report positive mental health from intentionally inducing plurality.
Yes, plurality can mess with some people's lives. But it's also something sought out because it's beneficial to others.
You cannot be pro-endo if you consider all plurality a disorder.
It also makes a mockery of non traumagenic systems, by making them out to be fakers who only want attention.
This is only true if you believe with unfounded certainty that people claiming to have dysphoria over lacking certain mental traits are faking this dysphoria.
This is a belief that I find... incredibly ignorant.
Because either you are denying the existence of BIID, which has been studied by many psychologists as a real phenomenon... or you are looking at BIID research and saying, "well, sure, maybe THAT exists, but there's totally no way people could feel that way about mental conditions."

Fandom Etiquette
Some unspoken rules of fandom communities on Tumblr (aka fandom etiquette) for people new to Tumblr.
If you post AI on your blog, prepare to be blocked by a TON of people. Why? AI shits on artists. The majority of people on Tumblr respect artists. If you share AI art on your blog, a lot of people are going to block you, which is probably not what you want. So don't post AI! (Same goes for reblogging AI shit).
Do not steal art from artists. Reposting art is usually frowned upon and if you wish to do this without people getting mad at you, credit the artist by name and link. For example, "This is drawn by Bob on Instagram - link to instagram here" If the artist if already on Tumblr, just reblog their work, don't repost it!
Do not redraw art from fanartists without their permission first! And if you do get permission, credit the original artist in your post, if not, people will think you are a thief and you will once again get blocked by fandom regulars. (redrawing official art from the fandom you're in is usually ok and a great way to learn. Learn to differentiate official art from fanart.)
Pinterest is the den of thieves. Great for finding a ton of lovely artworks with no way to get back to the original artist. Do not follow their example. That's not what anyone wants Tumblr to be. If you've got 50 fanarts saved on your pc and wish to share them with tumblr while you don't know the original artists? Then don't. That's the answer. Don't share art if you don't know who the artist is. Or learn to reverse image search.
Tagging is a way to communicate with the fandom about what you post on your blog without it afterwards showing up in reblogs. You can tag with character names, fandom names, ship names, and also personal tags such as "my fic" or "my art" - so that people checking your post can verify that it's made by you and not just stolen from someone else. Use tags to clarify if art or fic is yours when you post it.
Posting fanfic recommendations is usually a good way to make friends and earn yourself respect if you're not very creative yourself. Drawing fanarts or making edits for said fanfics will earn you god-status. Answering asks or posting meta or headcanons are other things you can do if you're not very creative otherwise.
Be careful sharing gifs and edits that you did not make yourself, even in-between your essays. Once again, it is technically theft, though I think most people view it as a lighter form of theft than art-theft. Crediting is still usually appreciated. Sadly a lot of photoshoppers accept this type of theft as part of the deal.
No matter which rule you broke in the past, you can always learn to do better. When in doubt, ask around in the fandom what you should do with a specific thing you want to post. Making a mistake does not get you kicked out of the fandom necessarily, so don't sweat it, just do better.
Even if you try to be a perfect fan, you will at some point break a little fandom etiquette here and there. You might reblog an AI art by accident... Share an image that was edited without you realizing it... Use someone else's gif without credit... It's ok. We all make mistakes. As long as you respect the fandom in 99% of your posts, nobody's going to cancel you for that.
This is by no means a conclusive list.
