yall also have barking competitions where you’re just howling at each other lolll

because of that, your neighbour sometimes asks how your dogs (plural) are going and you have to make up a second dog because you’re not about to admit that it’s actually you howling back

yunho ALWAYS gets the zoomies at the most random times

in the morning when you’ve literally just pulled yourself out of bed and half asleep?

nearly trips you over

at 3am when you’ve just finished your work and you’re stumbling your way to bed

SPEAKING OF BED

it takes so long to convince him to let you put them in the wash

because as soon as you take them away from him? the puppy eyes come out

and you have to be firm and tell him that the toys just need a bit of cleaning, they’ll come back to you smelling super nice, it’s just for a little while

he still sits in front of the washing machine watching the whole cycle because he doesn’t trust the machine

whenever you’re working or busy doing something, he’ll come up and nudge you every other minute so you play with him

he’ll drop a toy at your feet so you throw it for him

or he’ll tug on your pants and whine a little for your attention

you’re definitely weak for him so you almost always end up giving in

he gets excited and darts off whenever he sees other people or other dogs because he wants to go and say hello :’))

and even though he loves meeting the other dogs, if you find another cute dog and turn your attention towards it or compliment it he’s gonna be all 🥺🥺🥺

he’s built to protect you like whenever you go out he’ll valiantly be on the lookout for any dangers like lizards that get too close or plastic bags that are flying towards you

LOL sometimes you can’t bring yunho out with you, and when you get home after bumping into another dog on the way back, yunho will immediately be able to sniff out their smell on your clothes

when you bake you’ve got to keep a close eye on him he’s like a CHILD

he’ll steal the chocolate chips off the counter and you have to take the packet from him and tell him that you need them for the cookies

but he gets a handful of them anyway as compromise

it’s the puppy eyes i’m telling you they stay with him even when he shifts

when it’s bedtime he dives under the covers with you

he drapes himself over you like he does when he’s a dog except he is much heavier when he isn’t a dog and you’re lowkey struggling to breathe under him

and he’ll lie on his back and pull you so that you lie on top of him instead :’))

doesn’t matter if he’s dog or human, he LOVES CUDDLES

sometimes he decides that he wants head scratches too and he’ll bring your hand up to his head so that you play with his soft blonde locks

he also peppers your face with kisses like non-stop

he makes it his personal goal to make you giggle and laugh from all the kisses he’s giving you

because he is all about that physical affection and touch, perhaps even more when he’s a human

when you’re home he HAS to be touching you in one way or another like he’ll have a hand on your thigh or he’s draped over you in a back hug or you’re sitting in his lap

and it’s so cute when you see the same mannerisms and habits he has as a dog when he’s human

he’ll sit there and huff at all the right times when you tell him about your long day

(which was one of the first things you picked up on that yunho wasn’t your typical dog because when you ranted to him it was like he could understand you perfectly)

and like he still has his protective instincts, except when he’s a man he is The Man

you tell him about some colleague at work who was nasty to you and he’ll be like WHO. LET ME GO BITE THEM

he definitely growls a little when he’s really protective like grrr >:(

lol but also when you two are playing games and he’s feeling competitive or he’s gaming on the computer he’ll unintentionally growl at you and sometimes you find it kinda hot ;)

with yunho there has never been a single dull moment

his laughter and cheeky antics just become a permanent part of your life <3

You occupy my thoughts.

“Do you think he’d like this one?” Yeosang thrust a glittery body mist at you. You took it gingerly and sniffed it.

“I don’t think Mingi would wear something that smelled like jasmine.”

“I don’t either.” He snatched it back, setting it back on the shelf. “I think he’s more of a sandalwood kind of guy.”

You nodded. “Very masculine. That’s Mingi.”

“Yes.” Yeosang picked up another bottle. “Maybe this one?”

“Maybe.” You hummed.

“You’re thinking about something.” Yeosang smelled it, shook his head, and put it back. “I can tell. You’re quiet.”

“Oh, I don’t know, just… thinking about the harvest festival.”

“That’s not till late October, right? Why are you thinking about it now?”

“Just… remembering what San said. About having a stand together. Sign-ups are due soon.”

“You want to do a stand with him? Wow, flower lessons must be going well. I thought you’d rather slip him some kind of poison than voluntarily spend more time with him.”

“Yeah, well, that was a couple weeks ago.” You mumbled. “He’s more bearable than I thought.”

“You also like teaching people things.” He smiled at you over his shoulder. “Maybe you just like a willing student.”

“Okay, who doesn’t like having someone to teach their valued knowledge to?” You flicked him.

“Hey! What is this, high school?” Yeosang rubbed his shoulder. “I get it. Your little rivalry with him was a little aggressive, anyway. I’m glad you don’t hate him anymore.”

“He’s actually kind of nice.” You said. “He’s, like, getting into the flower meanings and stuff. Keeps asking me about the poems. It’s kind of endearing.”

“Ooooo, you have a crush on him!” Yeosang singsonged.

Your cheeks got hot. “I do not.”

“I better be in the wedding.” He sniffed another body spray. “Oh, wait, I think this is the one.”

You engaged Yeosang in the perfume conversation, glad to turn the topic away from your love life— especially your love life in relation to San.

Discussing dating with Yeosang always seemed normal, the way you’d expect two best friends to discuss their romantic prospects. You thought that it felt a little tense every time though— your romantic past and sexually active present weighing over the conversation like the executioner’s axe over the condemned man. Yeosang hadn’t met someone he wanted to date in the past few years, and you’d only had a couple of relationships since Yeosang. It felt like only a matter of time before you’d have to deal with your ambiguous, not-ambiguous relationship.

It wasn’t that it was ambiguous, exactly, it was best friendship with benefits. You both knew the boundaries. It was the true emotions both of you were hiding that were the unknown.

You didn’t even really know what you felt about Yeosang, so it was safer not even to touch the topic.

But you could identify how you felt about San, and it was quickly evolving from annoyance to attraction, a fact you weren’t exactly thrilled about.

He was the competition. You couldn’t date the competition. Besides, you told yourself, he’d still thrown away your flowers. You couldn’t forget that. He didn’t like you.

And, more importantly, you didn’t like him.

“Alright, we’ve had three lessons. What are you thinking for this weekend?” You crossed your arms.

“Forget-me-not and short sunflowers for true love and adoration, and marjoram for blushing. It’s a very colorful theme to the wedding, so I wanted to include lots of colors in the centerpieces.” San nodded. “And I was thinking each table would have a different centerpiece. Like, one table has forget-me-not, one has sunflowers, one has marjoram. And then they’re all filled in with moss, which is for maternal love, but the bride is very close with both her mother and her mother-in-law, so I think it will work, and it’ll look nice. And then the bride’s bouquet will be all of it.”

“I’m impressed.” You blinked. “You’ve memorized that pretty fast.”

“Yes, well, I want to keep learning.” San smiled. “I like working with you on— on this. I’m having fun.”

It might just have been your imagination, but he seemed to shift a bit, almost as if he were nervous.

“Okay, I can keep teaching you, then.” You smiled. “Is there anything you want to learn to say with flowers?”

“Maybe… I was actually thinking, first, maybe you could help me with this wedding. I want to use sunflowers, but I’ve never stocked those in large quantities, and I know you sell a lot of them. I’d pay you, of course, and credit you. Just… a little collaboration.” He smiled.

You were taken aback. San wanted to work with you?

“I, um, I think that would work, yeah.” You stumbled over your words. “I’d love to work with you.”

You could barely believe you were thinking this, but San wasn’t as unbearable as you’d thought. He was actually kind of sweet… and thoughtful… and he seemed to enjoy working with you… and though you wanted to deny it, you had to admit the man was gorgeous.

“Great!” He beamed, and your chest fluttered.

You continued with your flower lesson for the day— the meanings of colors.

“Flowers with multiple colors often mean different things based on the color.” You pulled a few roses from your bag. “White roses mean something different from pink roses, and you’ve gotta be careful with yellow.”

San nodded. “Colors. Got it.”

You set the roses down on the table. “I can tell you about the different colors, but you have to remember, it’s dependent on the flower as well. It’s sort of… a combination of the two.” You sighed. “It’s hard to explain. I’m… my book does a much better job.”

“I want to see this famous book at some point.” He smiled. “It sounds amazing.”

“No.” You said quickly.

“Oh… okay.”

It was quiet for a moment.

“It’s just… it’s my family’s spell book as well.”

“Spell book? So you’re herbalists?”

“Yes. Herbalists who do all kinds of enchantments.” You waved your hand in the air. “My family’s been doing magic for centuries, probably longer.”

“Really?” San’s eyes were wide. “My parents were always wary of that stuff.”

You couldn’t help it, you snorted. “Denying magic is like denying the sky is blue. Now that we don’t have to hide anymore, no witch trials or anything, we’re pretty open about it.”

“I know. People around here trust you, trust your spells. I hear all about it.”

You smiled, pride glowing in your chest. “I try to help people. I’m glad it’s doing something.”

“You do a good job.”

Had San always looked this adorable when smiling? You couldn’t really say.

Mingi’s birthday was a relatively calm event. It was Mingi, his boyfriend Yunho, Yeosang, and you. You’d all met in college, and remained friends ever since.

“Where’s Wooyoung?” You looked around. “Where are you hiding him?”

“Hiding him?” Yunho laughed. “Why would we hide him? We want him here as much as you do.”

“So then… where is he?”

“Dunno.” Yunho put his glass on the table. “I’m not in charge of him. He said he might bring a friend, though.”

You hummed. “Wooyoung is certainly… friendly.”

The front doorbell rang, and Mingi leapt up to answer it.

“Wooyoung! And this is…”

“San.” Wooyoung filled in.

Goosebumps ran over you. San? No way it was the same San. There had to be another one, or something.

But you looked over your shoulder, and you felt yourself flush. It was, in fact, the same San. He was in a dark shirt, unbuttoned halfway down, and light wash jeans. A few necklaces glittered on his collarbones.

He looked more than fine. He looked hot.

He grinned at you. “Y/n! Woo didn’t say you’d be here.”

“Well, here I am.” You swallowed before remembering to force your face into a smile.

Yeosang cut in. “San! It’s so nice to meet you. I’ve heard a lot about you.”

“Have you?” San looked amused, his gaze darting between you and Yeosang.

You huffed. “I just… told Yeosang about the flower lessons. That’s all. This is Yeosang, he’s my best friend.” You left out the part where you occasionally fucked.

“Hi, Yeosang.” San said with a small laugh.

“Well, don’t just stand in the doorway.” Mingi ushered them inside. “Sit down.”

Wooyoung took the last available chair, leaving San to sit on the couch beside you. His leg bumped yours as he sat, and he briefly smiled at you as he pulled it back.

The conversation was mudane, at least until after dinner.

“Any news on the dating front, y/n?” Yunho asked, pulling his legs up into his chair.

“Not really.” You laughed. “Still single. The shop is my boyfriend.”

Was it your imagination, or did it seem like San perked up?

“Oh, Beehive Flowers and Enchantments, sweep me off my feet!” Wooyoung put the back of his hand to his forehead, swooning back.

“Exactly!” You grinned.

“I won’t stop at my mission to get you laid, y/n. We will find you someone.” Mingi looked at you sincerely.

“I’m sure you will.” You smiled.

“How about you, San? You got a partner?” Mingi turned to him.

San shifted. “No, I… I don’t.”

“Sounds like you wish you did.” He poked.

“Maybe.” San looked down, flushing. “I do kinda want someone… yeah.”

Your heart jumped.

“We should get you on some dating apps or something, then.” Yeosang leaned over. “I hear there’s a few that are pretty good.”

“Yeah, that could be good.” San glanced at you with an inscrutable expression before looking to Yeosang. “For sure.”

You didn’t know what he wanted. But you wanted him.

Oh wow. I’m going to be honest I don’t really think about my headcanons for them that much give me a minute

Basics are Microphone and Taco are both lesbians. Their genders can change in my head I don’t really have a set one for them But microphone is a butch lesbian

I hc microphone to have autism, bpd, vss, and schizophrenia (the last two are mostly just projection but. Trust) For taco it’s bpd, npd, and probably autism too. If I thought about this more I could probably find more I just don’t think about it too hard

For their relationship, I like to think even after they went their separate ways in the end they both still care about each other. Taco obviously does, she’s devastated from their split and cannot stop thinking about her. I think Mic wouldn’t completely throw out her care for Taco as they grew so much together and just formed a bond that wouldn’t be so easy to get rid of. She probably for the most part tries to just Not think of her, because the more she thinks of her the more she wants to see her again, but she knows she wants to wait till Taco truly changes. I think if Taco apologised she wouldn’t forgive her immediately, but would give her the time to fix herself. Like she wouldn’t immediately go back into her life but as Taco gradually fixes herself she slowly gets more comfortable with her again.

With the mindset of both Microphone and Taco having bpd I think it’d be very interesting if they were each others fp. You can tell they put each other ahead of a lot of things and for Mic it takes her a while and she keeps giving Taco chances until she finally chooses to cut her off. In ep11 (alternate reality show) Taco helps Mic return the taser, even though she doesn’t understand her reason for it and even though it could risk her getting caught. She helps her return it because Mic wants to and Taco wants to help her. I’d say you can tell Taco still very much so cares about her in ii15 because not only does she literally Look at her in the windows, but when she mentions Mic quitting, she calls her Microphone rather than Mic, as she had been calling her ever since they got closer. I think the reason she did this could be either because she wanted to protect Mic and didn’t want to out the fact she was cheating, or(/and) maybe she felt she didn’t deserve to call her that anymore. She only switched to Mic when they became closer, and even though she still cares about her, she knows Mic left and called her out for what she did, and it filled her with guilt. If Microphone didn’t care about her anymore, she was in no right to be able to call her Mic. In the sense Mic’s her fp, she could have trouble trying to move on, as Mic meant the world to her and her not seeing her anymore makes her want to get back. It might make her want to get better so she can get back into Mic’s view, in a good light again. The fact ‘a song for microphone’ is playing in that scene is so CRUEL. In ii15 she says she doesn’t care about the money anymore which is like, her fp left her and that made her realise there’s so much more to this game. The money, the need to win, was the biggest thing in her eyes until she gained such an attachment to Mic and she realised she started to focus her life around her more so the competition. Like she literally goes against her word in ii14 so that she can give Mic what she thinks she wants most. She wanted to give Mic the world because she was her world. The way she says “I’ve lost more than any of you” in ii15 can be. Interpreted in so many ways but Wow. To view it in the way that she’s talking about losing Mic, her fp, is crazy. I’d say in reality though, she’s not only talking about Mic and Pickle but how she also lost s1. How she was so sure she was going to win, that maybe she was Meant to win, but ends up losing. Then she just keeps losing after that. She tries and tries but can never win. lol that’s a bit funny Mic had that same problem. “I’m trying harder than everyone else, so why do I always lose?”. Yeah ok. Oops I just kept going there. I was going to say more but I lost my train of thought sorry.

I dunno. I have So many more thoughts about them but I’ll save those for another day. They’re very interesting I need to shrink them down and study them under a microscope

In response to this post - I'm making my own post because this leans into dark-fic territory, and I don't want to put that on your post if it's something you're not interested in and don't want to see in your post notes. General Warning for dub-con and violence and the really kinky stuff. Featuring Dom!Raphael and sub!Astarion.

The Kinks:

This is exactly the kind of stuff he was trying to escape! And now he has to sign a contract agreeing to put up with it!

So you'd have to come up with a reason for him to put himself in that position. Raphael's not just going to snatch him up and start tormenting him. He's going to offer a deal that Astarion will have to agree to voluntarily. Maybe Tav was a dickbag and wouldn't help him with Cazador. Maybe he trades his service for a way to walk in the sun again. Something where he's so desperate that he'll turn to a devil for help even though he said he wouldn't do something so stupid in Act 1 and 2 of the game.

So Astarion signs a contract. He was a magistrate, so he might negotiate the fuck out of the contract, but not have enough leverage to get certain clauses he wants, so he has to give up some protections he tries to build into the contract for himself. Then there's different ways he can act under contract. Maybe he's not able to turn off the sass, and he pisses Raphael off constantly, getting himself punished all the time. Raphael falls in love with Astarion's inability to just fucking behave, something that made Cazador just punish him more, but makes Raphael start easing off because otherwise he risks breaking his side of the bargain because there's really no taming Astarion and oops Raphael actually doesn't want him tamed anymore.

Or maybe Astarion locks himself down, reigning in the sass and the rebellion, because he knows how to avoid punishment, and unlike Cazador, Raphael can't punish him without reason. He tones his personality down so much that Raphael is disappointed in his behavior because he didn't want a sex doll, he wanted a challenge. He wants Astarion to fight back and risk failing to hold up his end of the bargain. So he starts going gentle, which confuses Astarion. Neither of them know how to handle this change in dynamic, and oh no now they're having conversations instead of sex.

And I don't want Astarion to fix Raphael. I want Raphael to make Astarion worse. Encourage his bloodthirsty side, cheer on his competitive nature, let him be a sneaky little bastard, motivate him to start participating in the politics of Hell. Oh, it turns out Astarion is good at infernal contracts? Let's amend our contract so that Astarion can trade working with his mind instead of working with his body.

And bonus if Haarlep and/or Korilla haaaate Astarion because he's getting all of Raphael's attention, and they're jealous.

This is exactly the kind of unhealthy fucked up dynamic that I LIVE FOR. (Which is really funny because all my writing is fluffy af lol)

warnings: angst, brief fighting, one single swear

Yet another hour of tossing and turning passes you by. It’s hard to wait. You wonder if Dazai feels the same. You make the hasty decision to text him,

“You up?”

A minute or two passes

“Unfortunately.”

“I can’t sleep”

“Again? Lol.” the typing bubble on the screen pops up and disappears quickly

“Yeah.”

“Do you want to talk now?” You think about his offer for a minute

“Yeah.”

“I’ll be over in 10.”

Waiting is torture. Suddenly, everything you’ve wanted to say to him is flooding through your brain, but you know, when he arrives, you’ll be at a loss for words. You sit on your couch, scrolling through anything you can just to keep yourself busy, but it doesn’t make things easier. When he knocks on your door, you open it shakily.

“Good evening,” he smirks. You stifle a laugh.

“Don’t do that. This is supposed to be serious,” You say, trying your best not to smile back. He walks in and leans over the counter, waiting for you to take your seat across from him. As you sit, you take a reserved posture. In comparison, Dazai looks very open; it’s comforting. You sit in silence for a minute.

“Uhm, you couldn’t sleep either?” you mumble.

“Not well. I’ve been lonely as of late.”

“Can’t imagine why.” he chuckles lightly. You play with your fingers idly, trying to calm your nerves.

“I wanted you to talk to me. Just talk to me, you know?” Your redundancy embarrasses you. He thinks for a moment.

“How’s Ango been?”

“This isn’t about him, it’s about you.”

“I was just curious.” He puts his hands up defensively, “I almost feel replaced.” He shrugs unseriously.

“Replaced?”

“Replaced.” Silence settles between you once more.

“I never said you couldn’t hang around anymore; You made that choice.”

“I don’t go where I’m not wanted.” You take an aggravated breath in,

“I don’t care how smart you are, don’t jump to conclusions like that.”

“I’m sure Ango would appreciate the lack of competition,” he shrugs again.

“Competition?”

“Or maybe distraction is a better word.”

“Can you stop with this… cryptic bullshit?!”

“Ango’s in love with you. Always has been,” he says casually.

“Yeah. What of it?” You give him an irritated and confused look. He looks around the room, refusing to look you in the eyes.

“Do you remember how we used to spend our days together in that cheap apartment?” he smiles.

You sigh,

“Yeah…”

“We used to have so much fun.”

“Sure; we did however we could.”

“I miss that. Now that our lives have evened out, we’ve settled. We changed.” You nod in agreement,

“We’re different from how we used to be and I don’t think I like it.” he sighs.

“Why not?” you ask, tilting your head. He stares off into the distance again, traveling through memories unknown to you.

“You were all I had left, and I was okay with that.” His words surprise you. You watch as his eyes focus on something past you. Suddenly, he turns back to you, placing his hands gently over yours.

“I want you. I have wanted you. It’s a secret I’ve made no effort to keep.”

You hesitate, “Osamu-”

“I know who I am. I know what I’ve done. But know that I have spent years struggling with myself over you. And I’d do it a thousand times over again for you to look at me as you do now.” He licks his lips quickly, anxiously,

”You’re so much kinder than me, and so much sweeter than death.” For a while, you sit looking dumbfounded as he smooths his thumbs over your knuckles. When you don’t answer, he breathes in anxiously again,

“Take your time, darling.”

“I need to think; I’m sorry.” you breathe.

“Don’t be sorry.”

“But… Don’t leave.” he smiles, seemingly relieved,

“I won’t.” He lets go of your hands and walks toward your room to settle in.

It’s always nice to have him. Even on days when he didn’t seem there, it was comforting to have a body next to yours. It’s strange, though, watching him stroll so readily to your room as if he didn’t just confess something even he struggled with. You watch his back intently before it disappears from view. You stare blankly at the space he just was; he’s gone, but he stands in front of you like a ghost. No matter where you went, it always felt like he was there.

When you walk into your room, he’s sitting as comfortably as he did the last time he was there. This time, however, he’s lying on his back, his eyes closed, and smiling to himself. Carefully, you lay down next to him.

“I missed you these past few days, you know?”

“I could only hope so,” he whispers, still smiling.

“...Are you sure about this?” You ask carefully. He rolls onto his side and faces you,

“I’ve never been more sure.” you glance at him then look back to the ceiling blankly.

“Somehow, I think it confuses me more when you’re direct,” he chuckles at this, “I spent all those years trying to catch up with you, but I felt like even if I did, you’d never look at me.”

“You don’t have to be looking at something to be focused on it; it’s not about where my eyes are, it’s about where my mind is,” he says softly, punctuating his words by looking away from you again.

“You get it though, don’t you? It’s hard to feel wanted by you when I know you.” he nods, “And half the time, I doubt I do. That’s the problem. I’ve asked for you for so long, knowing it was probably the one thing you couldn’t give.” you sigh.

“Such uneasiness lies in being loved; nowadays, to me, that’s what makes it so intriguing.”

“I’d have thought that’s why you’d turn away from it.”

“Before, yes.”

“It’s been so long since we talked like this,” You smile.

“It has. We’ve changed.”

“That we have.”

Change is often bittersweet, but this time you welcome it with pride. You feel like you’ve lived up to the expectations you had that fateful night your life changed for good. Miraculously, you have few regrets in this moment- not zero- but few.

“I’m glad we stayed together, Osamu, however we did it.” He pauses for a moment before smirking to himself,

“I wouldn’t have survived it with anyone else.” he quips. You pause to breathe in deeply,

“I think by now, I know what it means to live.”

he hums, “I’m coming closer to it.”

you turn to him as he reaches for your hand, grasping it tightly. He looks you in the eyes, staring straight through you like he tends to, but it feels different now,

“Whatever you decide to do, I don’t regret our time together. I have always held our memories dear, and no matter what happens, I’d like to make more.”

“No matter what, I promise we will.” You squeeze his hand. You have no concerns when he pulls you to his chest, letting out a breath he must’ve held for a long time. You have no trouble falling asleep listening to his heartbeat. It’s always been nice having someone to sit in limbo with.

Don’t have much thoughts about JackSil, can’t remember any significant interactions (granted, we haven’t watched a lot of the events and vignettes). Based on their personalities, they could work as a ship and work for each other quite nicely, but it’s not really the type of dynamic we’re usually into. Unless I’m missing something…

SebeRollo is honestly very funny, because both of them are so petty and stubborn. I love how Sebek completely ignores Rollo and keeps calling him “human” despite Rollo grumbling that his name is Rollo quietly to himself very angrily… And when Rollo doesn’t need to play nice anymore, they would have the most hilarious super childish fights and yell at each other very big and scary words like “reproachful” and “pathetic simpleton”. Their relationships with Malleus would also be a nice fuel for this…whole thing.

Unlike Jack and Silver, I have no idea how they could work, but both of them really need to get laid to chill the fuck out, so they really should help each other out.

Good question. I think he has.

Idia and Ortho were each other’s closest people, heck, their ONLY people. And while Ortho is extraverted and open to new experiences and relationships in life, Idia is like the opposite of that. He is extremely attached to Ortho, and seeing him being so close to someone and so eager to spend time with them (and maybe even have romantic feelings towards them) probably pains him greatly. But Idia is also very happy for Ortho being able to live his life the way he wants, so he’ll probably suffer in silence. Maybe get snarky and moody once in a while though…

But both Ortho and Vil would probably see through Idia façade.

Yeah, it’s fun! I already mentioned the actual ending of the Snow White fairytale, but I still think about it sometimes. Darker motifs and Neige are a nice combo.

It’s such a contrast to his usual behavior.

Rook’s reaction would be interesting: I can definitely see him becoming antsy and restless, wanting to claim Vil “back”, but he would also get so genuinely excited to have this “fight” in the field of love with an actual dangerous and primal beastman. He would probably have the most fun and want to do it again at some point, even though he did feel very jealous…

I also really like it when Jack gets uncontrollably animalistic. Makes every Jack-ship so much more fun~ (now I’m thinking about that one JackVil artist on pixiv…)

Thoughts on Lilia x Jamil?

Interesting and has potential! Mostly because of Jamil’s dreams of travelling and seeing the world, and Lilia having a lot of experience with this sort of stuff. I feel like if they were to travel together, they would actually have a wonderful time and have quite a funny dynamic. It’s unusual for Jamil to hang out with someone like Lilia, I think, despite the fact that his chaotic behavior is similar to Kalim’s sometimes.

Jamil would probably join the squad of people who kind of sort of maybe have a little bit of a crush on Lilia lol but he is also mature/pessimistic enough to tell himself that it’s not going to get anywhere. Unless?

so I've just wrapped up the EN version of the masquerade event (specifying EN for clarity, I'm unsure of any differences between translations)

in the chapter "straight to the dunk" in book 5, when che'nya and neige show up, Rook reacts in such a... interesting way, in my opinion.

he does his genuine shock expression (as opposed to his kinda fake looking surprise where he throws his hands up), and then smiles but with a sweat drop on his face as he addresses neige, while his model slides over to and slightly behind Epel's.

the game doesn't linger on it much at all but genuinely it makes me wonder if he isn't shy or nervous around neige, as probably his biggest fan

(this could of course also be the game just giving a little nod to book 5 without outright acknowledging it so there's no spoilers but still it's such an interesting reaction, to me, simply because of how bold rook usually is)

Sorry for the late reply, Anon!! We’re rewatching the event now, and I kind of wanted to wait until I get to this point, but I am so ridiculously slow that it’d probably taken ages lol And I do remember the scene you’re referencing!

If I remember correctly, back when we watched this event for the first time, I joked about Rook physically having to force himself to grab Epel to stop himself from jumping Neige. Also as a reminder of what happened during Book 5: look at Epel, Rook, don’t forget, look at Epel!!

This is just a joke of course, you’re probably right: this was just a fanboy getting nervous. Which is interesting, because he doesn’t seem to be as nervous at the earlier points of the event when he saw that Neige is here…

Gino is a half-elf who was adopted by Jamie and Tobias when they found him wandering the forest alone. Nico is the biological kid of Jamie and Tobias via science baby and Celeste was an alien baby from Jamie.

Tobias and Tina are ridiculously competitive lol

Sasi has a pet “dog” called chupacabra, it actually might be a cryptid tbh…

Sunny’s real name is Marisol, Sunny is a nickname her father gave her

Ajay usually hovers close to Sid in a protective way. Showing his fangs to any suspicious people saying “Do not hurt him or you will regret it”

Micah always wanted to play guitar and join a band. Obviously he never had the chance, being homeless and trying to take care of his kid foster sister, Bug. Perhaps he can learn guitar now!

Bug’s real name is Alejandra, she and Micah came up with “cool street names” and Bug chose Bug cause she…ate a bug lol. Micah’s name was Rat. He doesn’t use that name anymore though.

Micah started going by his real name because of Johnny being insistent on knowing his actual name. “I don’t want to call you rat, it sounds mean, you’re just trying to survive” it honestly touched Micaj and perhaps this was the first interaction with Johnny that gave him those butterflies

Miguel never expected to ever get married or start a family. That being said he’s always liked the idea of being a Dad and he was over the moon when Kimiko got pregnant with their first child. And he is such a doting Dad too, loves his daughter to bits and hates seeing her upset, which leads him to be a mostly relaxed parent/the fun parent.

Old Ravi is a veteran from strangerville, he has many wild stories of his time in the military and people usually don’t believe him but…he did defeat the motherplant!

Earl and Jamie have been best friends since they were toddlers. Jamie’s parents allowed Earl’s mother to stay with her (she was a pregnant teen runaway) So they grew up together essentially. Their favorite past time is fishing and catch tadpoles

Crispin wants to be a great chef, he sells food at a food stand. He has all the time in the world to cook and bake, but lately he’s been feeling down and lonely. He has his pet dog but there is always a hint of sadness when he looks over at the empty side of the bed.

Tony played baseball as a kid, though it wasn’t for long because he hit a kid in the knees who annoyed him and he got kicked off the team. His weapon of choice us a barbed wire baseball bat, his old crew called him slugger for a reason…

I have heard the ocean in a conch shell (yes, we had a conch shell in our house growing up, so I listened to it all the time) // I have watched the sun rise (I actually don't know if I have intentionally watched a sun rise, but I have certainly been up late enough at night that I see the sun rise, which is when I then say 'oh fuck, I really need to be asleep) // I enjoy rainy days (I used to enjoy them a lot, now I have a lot of musculoskeletal pain that gets worse when it rains so I don't like it as much anymore) // I have slept under the stars (like under under with no protection? no. But now, my body is fucked and when there is a thunderstorm the change in pressure in the air literally makes me feel like the fluids in my joints are bubbling/carbonated) // I enjoy cloud watching (i do enjoy it, I just have not done it in a very long time) // I have attended a bonfire (yes, many. when I would go on camping trips or when my neighbors burned the Christmas trees people were otherwise throwing out in like February and they'd invite people over.) // I pay close attention to colors (yes, please refer to my pinned gay analysis assembly post on my tumblr page for a number of different essays about color) // I find mystery in the ocean (Yes. we have explored more of space than we have the ocean, I love the ocean but the prospect of what is in there does scare me. From a non-horror perspective, there is a reason why so much gay media has an underwater kiss and it's cause bodies of water are the guardians of many secrets) // I enjoy hiking on nature paths (Do I do it often? No. Do I enjoy it? Very much so, yes) // autumn is my favorite season (Autumn was not really a thing where I grew up but now I am somewhere where the leaves change and it is so beautiful. I love the weather, the temperature is always near perfect for my tastes, I get to break out the apple cider and the hot chocolate, and Halloween is in autumn here so what is not to love?)

MISCELLANEOUS

I can fall asleep in a moving vehicle (didn't used to be able to fall asleep at all once I was awake, didn't used to be able to sleep in moving vehicles, but now? I am so sleepy) // I am the mom friend (Yes. I am the mom friend, dad friend, cool aunt friend, etc etc. what can I say? I contain multitudes) // I live by a certain quote (no, but there are many quotes I love) // I like the smell of sharpies (no) // I am involved in extracurricular activities (technically HEMA, but my attendance has been low recently due to high pain months. But I am moving soon and hoping to start doing additional extracurricular activities after I relocate) // I enjoy Mexican food (yes, of course! Refried beans? Yellow rice? Tamales? Mole?) // I can drive a stick shift (technically. I have been taught to drive stick shift, I have driven stick shift before, but I am not comfortable driving stick shift. I could do it in an emergency or if no other option was available to me. I just stalled a lot when I was learning and instead of taking me safe places to learn how to drive it, my Dad would just throw me in to the busiest intersections which made it extremely stressful when I would stall out. But we figured out I was sitting too far back to get the clutch all the way down, and I had no issues that last time I did drive stick.) // I believe in true love (this is a complicated question, I don't know that I have a way to describe my actual thoughts on it, so let me just say I stand with La Pluie in saying that any and all relationships take work, regardless of fate) // I make up scenarios to fall asleep (Yes, I used to do it a lot as a kid. I would make up scenarios where I would have to be sleeping so that I would get to sleep, and now if music or white noise doesn't get me to sleep, I will make up a scenario. But I don't need to as much anymore) // I sing in the shower (Yes of course! What else is a shower for if not to best disguise my terrible singing voice?) // I wish I lived in a video game (lol, no. The videos games I play? Absolutely not! I would be consumed by a hoard of rats, or eaten by a sea monster, or be impaled on thorns) // I have a canopy above my bed (no) // I am multiracial (no) // I am a redhead (no) // I own at least 3 dogs (no)

Hihi! Thank you for the ask! Sorry it took forever for a reply, I’ll tell you what; I wrote it all out and then instead of posting it I DELETED IT like the fool I am. (Which I blame tumblr for, it looooves giving me problems) So yeah. Here we go again!

9. Top three all time bands are Jethro Tull (ofc!!!!! No one is surprised) Carmen and Weddings Parties Anything!

10. I didn’t really have a specific band, cause I just had a bunch of random songs downloaded on my iPad. But one album I did have was some compilation by U2, which I was obsessed with lol. I don’t listen to them anymore though

13. Ahh I would probably have to go with Broadsword and The Beast!! I just think it’s too cool, seriously. Though I’d go for any Tull album (except maybe zealot and dot com…..)

28. CARMEN!!! They’re SO good, and SO underrated!! Especially for how good their music is, I kid you not when I say none of their songs are skippable. They’re flamenco prog rock, and I can’t reccomend them enough!! They have 3 albums, which were recently (like literally just the other month!) remastered, so now is a perfect time to check them out. Genuinely can’t say how good they are! Aaaaaa! If anyone’s reading this I’m more than happy to give you some recommendations for them 🫶

Nope! My brother is but I’m just me 😊

2. When was the last time you cried?

Tuesday night (I was at the John Mayer concert don’t look at me lol)

3. Do you have kids?

Nope! And not sure I want ‘em

4. Do you use sarcasm a lot?

Who me? Noooo never 😉

5. What sports do you play/have you played?

I was a competitive swimmer for years (we’re talking State competitor and swim team captain), but that fell away when I went to uni. I have also played: soccer, volleyball, ran track, and most recently I was boxing up until my arthritis wouldn’t let me anymore.

6. What’s the first thing you notice about other people?

As someone with anxiety tbh I am always assessing if they are a threat 😭 but after that if I’m like, making a friend? Smile, sense of humor.

7. What’s your eye colour?

dark brown (basically black)

8. Scary movies or happy endings?

I can’t do scary movies soo happy endings.

9. Any special talents?

Idk I’m intuitive? I’ve taught myself a lot of weird/random technical shit lol (ex. programming a brand new lightboard in hs, and the other day fixing a piece of code on a system at work even though I am about as far from an engineer as you can get)

Writing, reading, biking, swimming, hiking, traveling, finding cute doggos to pet

I have a dog-ter yes. Her name is Piper, she is a lovable/insane mutt.

1. Are you named after anyone?

One of my middle names is after my mom’s great-grandmother.

2. When was the last time you cried?

I don’t know specifically but probably early this month; the holidays were giving me a hard time and I was missing home a lot.

3. Do you have kids?

Who tf do you think I am?? the tumbkr population is aging but not that much!! And, in this economy??

4. Do you use sarcasm a lot?

My family runs on it, so yes.

5. What’s the first thing you notice about people?

Now I’m being asked about it? Idk. Probably hair or maybe scent (especially perfume/cologne - I’m sensitive to scent and don’t like them).

6. What’s your eye color?

Depends on the light, usually like, pale blue.

7. Scary movies or happy endings?

Happy endings. Scary movies are too much for me, I find them unpleasant overall. And just because you have a happy ending doesn’t mean you don’t have tragedy and hardship before it, that’s what makes it worth finishing.

8. Any special talents?

I’m pretty good with animals and babies, apparently, but other than that idk. I can cross my eyes? Lol

9. Where were you born?

USA, the land of 20oz boba, real lemonade, and barbecue

10. What are you hobbies

I have a lot of them, but I haven’t been able to get to my creative ones much. I collect kpop stuff (Hinged), I draw sometimes, embroider, paint, etc. I read when I have time. I also like trying new desserts at the convenience store. And I’ve considered picking up calligraphy recently, I need to inquire about the classes though.

11. Do you have any pets

Not of my own; my family has like. A small zoo. Ten? Cats, dogs, and some budgies we ended up with because they were lost and unclaimed at the shelter and we have a little experience with birds. Oh, and am ancient, belligerent Pygmy goat.

12. Have you ever played/do you play any sports?

I swam competitively year-round when I was a kid for probably over ten years; not super talented or anything like my friends who’ve gone to trials, but because it was fun. I stopped mostly around late middle school, did a final two summer leagues, then quit for good. I also used to dance (11 years, 10 of them ballet) casually. And I had started a volleyball class right at the start of the pandemic then couldn’t finish it for obvious reasons. I’d love to pick up archery again, or kyuudo specifically.

13. How tall are you

5’7” or thereabouts, I get a different number every time a nurse who’s shorter than me measures 🤷🏼

14. Favorite subject in school

English and history, I always really enjoyed history as a kid and through high school, and then grew into my love of English later on as I grew into an interest in writing as well as reading. Monkey read, monkey do. I also really enjoyed art, particularly in high school. I took all the offered classes and then did an independent study and was kind of the one art teacher’s… mot favorite, but something close to it.

15. Dream job

I don’t know, frankly. Doing whatever I want and getting paid to do it? Like, whatever strikes my mood as I feel like it, be it writing, editing, something like library clerking and potentially programming, something creative with a more physically tangible product, teaching. The flexibility to live and also hop around. I used to think it was writing, but I don’t think I’d like writing anymore if it were my main source of income.
